New American restaurant
Bar
Angry Cactus is an American bistro-inspired eatery with a Southwestern ambiance. It offers a diverse menu, including innovative options for happy hour and brunch. The establishment has received rave reviews for its impressive atmosphere, attentive service, and delectable cuisine. Popular dishes like the green chili queso and bacon cheeseburger showcase bold flavors. The homemade chips complement the flavorful queso, while the juicy burger is packed with taste.
Tried this spot for the first time today after hearing a lot about it. I got the Skinny Chicken and my Husband got the Cheddar Burger and we shared the Green Chili Queso, everything tasted great and had a lot of flavor! I also had tried the Prickly Pear Margarita, it was very tasty! It did take some time for my drink to come out but the food came out very fast! Service was good as well. Would come back again. The inside of this restaurant looked really cool! A lot to look at at!

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday and it was delicious. I enjoyed the salmon and my mother enjoyed the knife and fork burrito. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying a nice meal with family close to the wonderful art installation of a tree.

An Oasis of Deliciousness: My Love Letter to The Angry Cactus! Sometimes, a change of scenery is just what the doctor ordered, and my recent drive from Dallas to San Angelo was a soul-soothing journey through breathtaking landscapes. The urban sprawl faded into rolling hills and wide-open skies – a much-needed mental palate cleanser that set the stage for what was to come. And what came next was nothing short of a culinary revelation: The Angry Cactus. From the moment you step inside, you know this isn't just any restaurant. The Angry Cactus boasts a vibe so distinctive, it's practically a character itself. But let's talk food, because, oh my, the food! The fork and knife burrito is not just a suggestion, it's a divine command. I went with the blackened catfish, and let me tell you, it was a match made in Tex-Mex heaven. "Delicious" doesn't even begin to cover it; this was a symphony of flavors that danced on my tongue. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the customer service swept me off my feet. The staff here isn't just attentive; they're genuinely comforting, going above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They absolutely exceeded every expectation I had. So, if you're ever in San Angelo – or even if you're not and need an excuse for a delightful drive – do yourself a huge favor and visit The Angry Cactus. It's a five-star experience from the food to the fantastic people. I highly recommend it!

This place is EXCELLENT!!! The food is fantastic, the service was wonderful and it is a really neat place over all. I had the 14 oz rib eye and it was perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken fried steak and it was very good as well.

Beautiful place with great servers. Or waitress was excellent. Both dishes my wife and I had were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and dishes were beautiful. The Bananas Foster was delicious.

Crimson was awesome. Everyone was nice. We did go near closing time so I get it. I ordered the Chicken fried chicken, mashed p’s and gravy and Mac N Cheese! Which is a 100% must have! A bit pricey but totally worth it overall! Definitely 9/10 for me. Crimson is sweet too and helped us with directions around town! Thank You and Good management!

San Angelo, TX A welcoming city with a big sense of family and community. Known for its delicious local coffee, pleasant weather, and beautiful natural areas that invite you to relax and enjoy. I visited this restaurant for business and resulted an amazing experience. Delicious food, well presented, affordable prices, nice and quiet environment. Definitely coming back during my next visit to San Angelo!!!

Really loud place. Have a bar area. The lights had dust all over them. Looks like the lights and the had not been cleaned in a long time. Service was slow even though they had plenty of staff. It's a noisy place so don't recommend for a nice quite place. The good was worth it all. It is a uniquely themed restaurant and has more if a sports bar vibe. But definitely go once. I recommend the chicken fried chicken. It was delicious! I would go back just for that!

If you're looking for a lively spot to enjoy American comfort food, look no further than Twin Peaks in San Angelo, TX. This sports-bar chain is known for its inviting lodge-like atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, happy hour, or a late-night snack, you'll find an impressive selection of ice-cold beers and rare spirits alongside a scratch-made menu featuring mouthwatering wings and juicy burgers.
Jasmine was a great server. Attentive to her tables with a smile. Great atmosphere to watch sporting events on many clear TV screens. Food was tasty and served in a timely manner. I like the house salad to start. Naked wings or boneless lemon pepper wings are great with ranch. The Twin Peaks brownie sundae is always my favorite dessert.

Will was great! Such a good vibe! Mike served up some hot and fresh wings! Loved the atmosphere!!! Definitely going to be a regular spot to have good drinks and eats!!
Melissa V — Google review
I recently visited Twin Peaks and had an absolutely fantastic experience, largely thanks to one amazing employee: Lia. From the moment I walked in, Lia was incredibly welcoming and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure our table was well taken care of, offering helpful suggestions from the menu and always checking in with a smile. What really stood out was Lia's positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm. She seemed to truly enjoy her job, and that energy was contagious. She handled a busy shift with grace and never seemed frazzled, which made the whole atmosphere more enjoyable. If you're planning a visit to Twin Peaks, I highly recommend asking for Alyah . Her exceptional service and friendly demeanor turned a regular night out into a memorable one. She's a true asset to the team, and I can't wait to come back!

Jasmine was my server…and what can I say? SPLENDID. She’s such a sweet girl, attentive, and keeps the atmosphere fresh and welcoming! Food looked and expectedly tasted good too! Jasmine definitely gets the job done and is always on the go, thank you for this experience!

Nestled in the heart of downtown San Angelo, the House of FiFi Du Bois is a vibrant blend of vintage charm and modern nightlife. By day, it showcases an eclectic collection of clothing and furniture from the 1950s to 1970s, while by night, it transforms into a lively bar serving up delightful drinks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, attracting a diverse crowd that seamlessly mingles across generations and backgrounds.
First time out on the town since moving here and had a blast! The band was great, the drinks were cold, and the service was phenomenal! It's laid back and my husband and I enjoyed it!
Brittney P — Google review
The service was good and the atmosphere was fun. We were having a great time. Until the manager (?) came over to the younger part of our group and seemed like she was friendly until she started bullying us about leaving a tip. Wanted to know why we hadn’t tipped her staff. Most in our group hadn't even closed out our tab yet. We ALWAYS tip and tip well. Then to find out they had already added a tip to one of the already closed tabs! Very unethical and extremely rude. We won’t be back. Spend your hard earned money someplace else. What a shame. The manager should be ashamed of herself.
Tracy B — Google review
Came here on a date with my wife for the live music. The parking is limited, you may have to park a little further down than the actual place. It is a great place to hang out and enjoy drinks and live music. A lot of the people who come here are older but they sure have a great time dancing and drinking. If you are looking for love music in San Angelo this is the place to come. The bartender did an amazing job mixing drinks and they have a great selection of beer. Seating inside is limited and you may want to call ahead to reserve a spot. Also the wait staff was very attentive and prompt with service.
Cameron R — Google review
Fifis has all kinds of live music. I like the Country music bands as I participate in ACDA and UCWDC Country Dance competitions. Wooden floor is very managable.
Willie W — Google review
Really cool bar in downtown San Angelo. Service can be a little slow, because they're so crowded. Huge dance floor and great bands. Go get your dance on!
Dan T — Google review
Fifis is always rocking! Toni and her staff work tirelessly to ensure her customers have good live music going on all the time. Staff are friendly and drinks are well priced. Dance floor is not real big but lends well to those who want to get their boot scootin on. If you want to watch sports on television, they have several tvs going. Come on down! This place is a historical gem!
Paige Y — Google review
From pooty tangs, shots, blue hawaiians, and more the staff is just as sweet as the drinks. Love the environment as it is a great place to jam out to the live bands and chill out. Favorite bar in the downtown area of San Angelo for sure.

The Penny Tap House is a laid-back bar that perfectly blends craft beer with mouthwatering pub fare, making it an ideal spot for any occasion. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burger, delectable French toast, or their famous chicken and waffles, this cozy eatery has something to satisfy every craving.
Walked in and met Christian right off the bat. If it weren’t for him, our experience wouldn’t have been the as great as we had! VERY attentive staff! Great music by a local DJ and the food, oh so delicious!

Came here with a friend after work. Great place to grab a beer and some bar food. The parking lot is decent, I easily found parking. There is bar seating and table seating, it seemed mostly quiet when I came by, nothing crazy. The service was quick and drinks came out quicker. The wings were decent and I would order them again. Ask about their specials and I think on Wednesday they have trivia night.
Cameron R — Google review
The staff is amazingly, friendly, clean, this place has stood the test of time, looking forward to making it there for a show Iike I used to 20 years ago, bartender was super cool.
Cesar A — Google review
I had such a wonderful time at Penny Tap House. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was perfect, fun, welcoming, and just what I needed. What really made the night special, though, was Bailey behind the bar. She was so kind, attentive, and just genuinely great at what she does. You can tell she cares about the people she serves. Her energy made the whole experience better, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of her. Can’t recommend this place enough. 🤍

Got some amazing nachos and beer and was treated great, food was great tasting and overall a 5/10 experience
Locke D — Google review
This was some of the best pub food, I have ever had. I had the pulled pork grilled cheese, I was shocked on how good the pulled pork was! It was smoky and had a nice bark on it, I was surprised I was not at a BBQ joint. My husband had beef nachos, the chips were nice and crispy with every bite and seemed quite fresh. The drink prices were great, and the bartender made a delicious coconut mojito, that was perfectly balanced, not one flavor over powered another. Excellent all around!
Kimberly D — Google review
This place is wonderful! While it does give bar vibes it the service is always spot on and the food is restaurant quality! Katarina is always first to greet me with the rest of the staff following behind! They create a friendly and safe environment with all the energy and fun of a bar. We love it here!

Me and my fiancé happen to go to penny all the time since its close to where we live. As soon as we walk in, Nick is the very first to greet us with a smile and a great personality. He manages to get drinks out fast and efficient without a mistake as well as asking if we need refills or anything else. Definitely making this my regular spot

Kimbo's Saloon is a fantastic spot to enjoy drinks and live music. The night at this establishment was lively, with an exceptional band performing. Although the band name escapes me, their talent was undeniable. Upon my arrival, I had the pleasure of meeting Kimbo, the owner, outside smoking a cigarette. She proved to be a gracious and welcoming woman. Finding a seat at the bar allowed me to engage in conversation with her several times throughout the evening as she checked on my well-being.
Just a laid back friendly bar .

First time here. It is a dive. Not necessarily bad. Just your typical bar. Better than Icehouse for sure!
Mark — Google review
Great place to drink, and the night I was there, a very fine live band played. Can't remember their name, but they were excellent. As I first walked to the door, I met the owner, Kimbo, outside the door, smoking. I lit one and stood and talked. She is a very fine woman. Very gracious. She found me a place at the bar and came back around a few times to talk and make sure I was doing okay. Loved her place. Will definitely be back a few more times. And hopefully, that same band will make another appearance. Thanks Kimbo. This is Tom, the wind technician.

Kimbos is a very good neighborhood bar. Band, 100 Smoke, was really good. Although not large inside, the layout is very comfortable and bands have good areas to perform. Prices for beer are comparable and staff is very responsive and friendly.

Snack bar
Cinemark Tinseltown USA San Angelo is a chain of movie theaters offering multiple screens, stadium seats, and self-service ticketing kiosks. It's an ideal spot to escape the heat and treat your little ones to the latest blockbusters in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment. After the movie, head to the arcade section for some gaming fun. The theater offers morning shows with seat selection options and serves alcohol including beer, margaritas, and more.
these two gentlemen were the most respectful and attentive to their customers. we went when it was really busy and they handled a line of about 30 people by themselves and did it very fast no problems at all. Once again these two gentlemen made my experience special and i will for sure be coming back to the theatre again. Hope this finds everyone and the outstanding lucky managers to have these employees well
Aj G — Google review
We went to a morning show. You can choose your seats when you purchase your tickets. Even though it was before ten there was fresh popcorn popped and waiting. We noticed that alcohol is served, beer, margaritas, jack and coke, etc. there are other food options like nachos , candy, chips. Plenty of options for kids and adults. The theatre was clean. The seats were well spaced. They recline and have temperature control. The sound was clear. Sometimes too loud during previews but perfect during the movie. There is a small arcade. There are restrooms in the front and on the far side exit hall of the theatre. The bathrooms were clean. They only have hand dryers. There is a family restroom.
Christian G — Google review
Most of the time everything is acceptable, but the last time we went, there were drunk people behind us, and the girl was throwing up. My question is, how does the movie theater let people into the theater who are obviously drunk? Do they not look for signs of something wrong? After these people reported one of the people in their party, throwing up and alerted movie personnel to come and clean it up, should’ve been their first opportunity to dig into what was wrong. I’m just glad that nothing got on us, but I could not get over all the interruptions from these people getting up and getting down and going back-and-forth. I paid for popcorn, a large drink and some snack packs not just movie tickets for four. This is over $60 to come be entertained without disturbance. I’m very disappointed in this movie theaters in ability to address unsavory characters like that, as well as refund the tickets or give complementary tickets out to those who complained. It’s hard to keep up with a movie when there’s a bunch of garbage going on around. There’s awkward moments in life and the business has to encourage its audience to come back rather than getting the notion not to return. They are at fault for everything that goes on good and bad because the consequences are no repeat business. Don’t get me started on the worn out seats.
John C — Google review
We went for a matinee at 2:30. The workers were very nice and the cinema was very clean. The seats were plush! The seats reclined. The sound was great! Not so loud that it hurt your ears but loud enough to immerse you in the experience!
Lisa Y — Google review
This theater has really cleaned up. Been several years since I have been. The seats are heated and reclined. The popcorn was delicious. They serve beer and a few frozen drinks.
Wendy S — Google review
Best luxury lounge recliner seats with lumbar heat. Dolby sound, 3D available. Purchase in app and save time and money. Snacks delivered to your seat for $1. Great movie selection.
Diane K — Google review
We just got out of the theater seeing the movie “last breath” which started at 5:10pm in theater 5. I got a beer and 5 minutes into the movie a nat flew into it. I plucked it out and continued on. Then, 2 more nats made their way into my cup as well as some continuously flying by. I let a manager know (bringing my nat filled cup) and their response was “no one has said anything to us about the nats but we’ll check it out”… not acceptable in my opinion.
Larissa N — Google review
I love that they added the reclining seats. We have the movie pass subscription and have not used it for a few months. Came to the movies today and we were able to watch a double feature and did not have to pay anything for tickets because the movie pass credits roll over. Edit: just did it again. 2 movies without spending a dime today because we saved the monthly movie pass credits for several months.

Dillard's is a well-known department store chain that offers an extensive selection of apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty products, and home goods. Shoppers often find themselves pleasantly surprised by the level of service provided by the staff. For instance, one customer shared how Nadya went above and beyond to help them find a shirt for their son when his size was unavailable. Her enthusiasm made what could have been a tedious shopping trip into an enjoyable experience.
Went shopping for accessories. Came out with perfume i didn't know I wanted. But happy for the purchase. They're usually very helpful and not obnoxious when I'm just looking. Which i totally appreciate.
Ashley C — Google review
Ms Robin in the plus size dept. did SUCH an excellent job. It is really rare to meet someone so kind a patient and SO helpful. I would have bought half the store from her. However, because the options were so limited and aged in that department, she had very little to show me. Dillard’s women’s department in this location needs to do a better job for options in that department. I’m not a size 2, but I also am not 70 years old. I just want the same thing in the youthful sections in my size. Dillard’s in Austin keeps a very vibrant and youthful selection in that department, so I know y’all can do it too.
Amanda S — Google review
I had the best experience with Olivia who worked at the perfume counter. She was the absolute sweetest. I'd never been to San Angelo and was intrigued by shopping. I stopped in here and she was just very hospitable. If I ever come back I will look for her.
Deonna B — Google review
When my wife ordered my oldest daughter's prom dress from Dillard's. This location fulfilled the order. Associates here packed the dress with the utmost care. It was wrapped in the harder water proof plastic. It was folded nicely in the box and then tissue paper and bubble wrap was put on top to protect the dress from getting sliced if opened carelessly. This is the a kind of care that is not seen often nowadays. Whomever works in the fine gowns area or online processing. Thank You!!! As went above and beyond with some good ol fashioned TLC.
Dean D — Google review
Dillard’s - San Angelo I custom ordered a sport coat, and it was an awful experience. I was skeptical about their ability to deliver a proper fit, but the salesman said that if it didn’t work, I could simply do a return. So I gave it a try. As I feared, the fit was very poor. So I took the coat in, and the original salesman was rude, and exclaimed that this was the “fit that I agreed to.” It wasn’t. Then he told me that I could try a remake for a better fit, and if that didn’t work, I could get a refund. Because he wasn’t exactly friendly, I decided to go ahead with the refund. Then the manager told me that they cannot return a custom item. I was told the exact opposite on multiple occasions by the sales associate. Awful experience. 0/10.
Dustin R — Google review
Zaylee in the womens shoe department helped me find shoes for my mom, & was totally amazing and nice with great customer service skills!🙏🏽✨ She made my experience way better 😁
Michael G — Google review
I'm honestly torn as Dillard's is my favorite store. However, at this particular location an incident occurred. I stopped for a pair of heels for work. Which always turns into more of course! On my way to the shoes I noticed they were having an Amazing sale on costume jewelry! The pieces are down from around $30+ to $6 and lower! I picked out 7-8 pieces and went to go to the shoe department which is very close. (It goes jewelry, perfume, shoes if I'm not mistaken) The saleswoman from the jewelry department suddenly looks to be in a panic and yells "you pay for them here". I turned and smiled thinking she was just being helpful and informed her I was going to get shoes and would pay for them there. She immediately looks Furious. I hadn't really broken stride yet as I've never encountered anything like this before. As she glared at my husband and I she says in the nastiest, rudest tone "fine. I'll let it slide....THIS time." I have never been spoken to like that. Her TONE!! Obviously I would understand if the merchandise were real jewelry instead of costume, pricey perfume etc. I had only maybe $35/40 worth of costume jewelry though. That's maybe half to a third of most of the blouses there. It would be like having a blouse in your hand and walking across the to the swimsuit aisle to continue shopping. Are we to check out at several registers every trip? I am a very frequent shopper (I'll attach a picture of just my shoe haul this month alone haahaa!) and have never came across this before. I still can't figure out what the issue was except maybe she works on commission? It's also important to note that my husband was being sweet and had let me hang the necklaces on his hand so they didn't get tangled while I was looking at shoes. We in no way looked evasive. Usually Dillard's staff is professional, eager to help and courteous. I kept going but both my husband and I were very taken aback. Gloria in the shoe department, however, was amazing! She exemplifies what I have come to expect from Dillard's: very personable, offered help without being pushy and treated me as I had treated her, with respect. She is the Dillard's experience that I am used to. I'm sure the other woman is an aberration in this location as she would be in any other location. As for me though, I will avoid that particular department in the future if she is present.

The Parrot's Head Tavern is a popular spot, especially on Saturday nights around 11 PM. It's quieter on Mondays, making it a good choice for those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere. We were visting town BUT this place will definitely me our go to spot every time we come back to SA! I want to start off with the service.... Tyler our bartender was the best bartender that we have had in at least 5 years....We are from Abilene and go to bars regularly.... She is ABSOLUTELY the best. NEVER did we go without a drink, even on the patio! Simply amazing!!! Atmosphere great.... everyone made us feel like we were a regular. Couldn't really rate food because we didn't eat. Service.....Amazing...Tyler is the best! Atmosphere great as well. Tyler.... thank you!!! Cooper and Tyshane from Abilene

Favorite bar in the city. Outdoor area with bags/cornhole, free pool tables, amazing bar food (I had the fries and mozzarella sticks— both were 10/10). Special shoutout to Corbin, one of the bartenders. Chill dude. He cut me off - which has never happened to me -but was super chill about it. I don’t think I was making any huge scene or anything crazy, but he was just very attentive and pretty positive he just noticed I had purchased several drinks in a short timeframe—special shoutout to JamesonGingerAles - whatever ginger ale they use is FIRE—and just knew that it was going to hit me later. Honestly, even I was planning to slow down and just went to order a beer, but he was chill about it, closed my tab, and offered me a water. I appreciate it and, for how crowded it was, am honestly surprised he noticed.

For me and my buddy it was a walk down memory lane . As it was once a tavern we frequented years ago. Went in to see the changes, was surprised and pleased with the place. Had a blast!!

Enjoy going to club patron ..Been going here for 5 years and with minimal disappointments.. every once in a while it get warm in there..I give it 4 stars because the last time I was there Michael Salgado sung good the first 30 min but eventually had to many shots and singing was more like karaoke. I got bad.. I don't falt Patron but they should advise bands that they are there for our entertainment and not theirs.. I guarantee you I will never pay to watch Michael Salgado sing again..

Midnight Rodeo San Angelo is a vibrant country-western club that truly captures the spirit of Texas nightlife. With its expansive dance floor and multiple bars, it’s the perfect spot for those looking to kick up their heels and enjoy live music from a variety of talented bands. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal place for anyone, even those who might feel a bit shy in social settings.
Midnight Rodeo has been, how do I say, a "home away from home" for me. I'm an odd gal with low social skills, so going out and meeting new people is rather challenging for me. But from the first day I stepped into this fine establishment, I felt welcomed. I know the bouncers and other employers quite well, and they always welcome me back with smiles and warm greetings. The environment is very rustic, classy, and open. The people that regularly attend are always courteous, and there's never a moment in which the dance floor is empty (excluding Thrusdays...they're very slow on that day, for some reason). The entry fee is very low. Wednesdays, ladies get in free before midnight. Afterwards, I believe it's only $3. Thursdays are free, and Fridays are typically event nights, where they bring in well-known country artists to play live, so therefore, the fee is $15 on that night. Saturdays are $5, if I remember correctly. And every night, they are open from 8pm to 2am, a very good time range. Overall, I definitely recommend this club to anyone looking for some good, light-hearted fun.
Emily P — Google review
The friendly and competent barstaff made an enjoyable visit. However, watching TABC deny all medical assistance to an intoxicated patron was mind-blowing. Never in my life have I witnessed law enforcement refuse to give a cup of water to someone as they stood with their arms crossed looking like they were the ones to grant access through the holy gates. 4 stars to the club and NOTHING to the law enforcement sworn to protect the citizens under their jurisdiction. I'll stand behind the blue line in any matter, whatsoever, until they take their role beyond their oath.
Josh B — Google review
Waited 10 min for barmaid, literally less than 15 people in the place. She wasn't friendly, put a drink menu in front of me after I was informed they don't have wine, then she walked away, few minutes later, when she came back, I ordered vodka tonic. Got my drink, and it was soda, not tonic. She informed me, that's all they have. Ugh. Not a good first impression
Dana H — Google review
Went on a weekend night, place was empty. Needs people! I could count on my hand how many people were on the dance floor at a time. I couldn't believe they charged a cover. We probably won't ever go back. Music was a mixture of current hits and country.

We needed an escape and came across this place. We just lost a loved family member to cancer and really needed a moment to decompress. We arrived and right away from the outside just knew it was going to be an interesting place. We got smiles and greetings from the DJ and bar tenders. Super friendly bunch working there. Really made it easy just to forget.. even if it was just for a moment. Took a shot of tequila and washed it down with some really good margaritas 🍹 😋 This place transported you to somewhere else with all the pictures of the bands that rocked those walls and the chatter of the people with all the smiles. It was a good time. Thank you for the memory.

Kat Hasty was putting on a show, and since she's awesome, it was great! The service was a bit slow. Waitresses were not noticing when we tried flagging them down. Stood up and went to the restroom? Brand new drink taken and dumped out.

My brother's funeral was on the day we visited Blaine's, and since my brother loved to frequent Blane's for an occasional decompression, we decided we'd go there for a shot in his name. It was a weeknight, and I'm sure Blaine's wasn't expecting such a turnout. We piled in and began ordering shots and drinks. The bartender working there was working by herself. She was AMAZING. She not only filled our drink orders with speedy efficiency but also found time to come to our tables and make sure our drinks stayed filled, and empty glasses were cleared. She was friendly and accommodating and really made our trip to Blaine's a great experience! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to kick back, relax, and have a drink! Everything was great!

This place has history and no visit to San Angelo is complete without stopping in this place a time or two. It’s a cool dive bar with great *Texas* music on most Friday and Saturday nights. It’s on the smallish side with an even smaller parking lot, but it’s “Blaine’s Pub” so just get over that folks - but plan on Ubering or walking a bit to get there. Why do you want to hang out here? I’ll tell you. - They open at 7am - I’m NOT joking! - $2.50 longnecks and a full bar. - Madison at the bar is AWESOME and will take care of you. - A side room with two pool tables. - Last but certainly not least, they have an indoor bathroom, LOL! They even brag about it on their sign out front. Jack Ingram, a young Pat Green, and many more big artists played here before they blew up the Texas music scene scene, and they still get some good bands here, so make it a point to stop in.
Brent L — Google review
The bartenders were incredibly rude to me and my party. They acted like they did not even want us there from the moment we walked through the front door. We did nothing but exist and they hated us for it. Never coming back, the Pour House is so much better. Pool tables also suck

Visit Urban Salt Kitchen & Bar in San Angelo for a delightful culinary experience. Indulge in their delectable cuisine and refreshing beverages. Don't miss out on trying their Suffering Bastard and Vieux Carre cocktails, which offer a fusion of Manhattan and Old Fashioned flavors. Pair your drinks with a diverse menu that includes zesty Lemon Pepper Wings and the mouthwatering Urban Burger. The attentive service provided by the friendly waitress adds to the overall exceptional dining experience.
I had the amazing opportunity to photograph some incredible dishes for Urban Salt, and let me tell you, the experience was just as amazing as the food. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the items I got to capture: Urban Queso The Urban Queso appetizer caught my eye right away. While photographing it, I couldn’t help but admire the smokey tortilla chips topped with chorizo crumble. The flavor is on point, though I would’ve loved a little more chorizo to really elevate it. The dish was just as delicious as it looked! Dream Girl Vibes The Dream Girl Vibes cocktail, featuring gin, lemon, basil, and Serrano, was another standout. It’s a refreshing, spicy upgrade to a classic seltzer—perfect for anyone who loves a little heat in their drink. Braised Beef Rib The braised beef rib was the star of the show. As I photographed it, I marveled at how the tender, slow-cooked rib fell off the bone with ease. Paired with creamy garlic mashed potatoes, it’s the kind of comfort food that’s just as good to eat as it is to photograph. I've included some of my food photos here, but the true experience is something you'll want to enjoy firsthand. If you're nearby, definitely make the trip—you won't be disappointed!

No i see why they have salt in the name.of the restaurant. I ordered a burger boy i tell you...it was salty, that is about all I could taste, the patty alone was super dry. The staff were amazing and the place is beautiful. We also ordered the develed eggs, they were okay.

It was a very nice experience here for dinner Friday night with my friends. I enjoyed the cilantro lime chicken bowl as the main entree and the shrimp as an appetizer. Very good portion sizes. The music was great!

Second time here, Nice concept. Drinks are good. The food was not good again! came for brunch The chicken and waffles was disappointing. The waffle very dense and dry no flavor chicken overcooked no flavor whatsoever. The side of cheesy grits very plain and clumpy. Did not even eat half of any of it…. A waste of money. Safe to say this place is only good for Cocktails.
K — Google review
If I could do 0 stars for the food I would. Tuna on the tuna nachos was old//dark// left out and did not taste good. When we received the scallop angel hair and surf and turf it reeked of food poisoning. Did not smell delicious, fresh, like normal seafood. It was such a strong unpleasant smell that was an instant turn off. Did not eat our meals- instantly let our server know which he was so helpful and did not charge us for our meals. EDIT: Edit to say- our meals were not remade because we did not want them to be remade. We chose to leave. They did comp our meals and we only paid for our alcoholic beverages and we did tip our waiter (it was not his fault). *Our waiter also mentioned that we were not the first to complain and send back the surf and turf meal that SAME day.***

Chill vibes. Competent staff. Delicious food. Deviled eggs, shrimp tacos, and mocktails were fresh n tasty! Definitely coming back! Loved the artwork!
Jonathan M — Google review
My first time here since they’ve opened and let’s just say it was ok. Their urban burger is not the best I’ve ever had. All was good until I reached the middle. It was so over cooked that the meat was hardened over. The cheese bread appetizer was this huge piece of basically garlic bread with melted cheese and spices. It was good but I would’ve preferred something a little more classy, being that they refer themselves as a fine dining restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and fancy but I don’t think I’ll be joining them for dinner anytime again soon.

Visited on a Wednesday night, and it was really jumping. The music was super fun, and the bartenders were in their game. The bar has some allocated bourbon, but I was surprised at the cost of the Eagle Rare. The chorizo deviled eggs were fantastic; the salmon with creamy noodles was also very good. I should have stopped there, but the recommended desert was a nice touch.

We really enjoyed our time in this brewery. We went to a local bar at first and really enjoyed an Octoberfest there, which we came to know produced from this brewery. Then we decided to visit this brewery and enjoyed a couple of their beers, those taste great and wonderfully aromatic. I would highly recommend their Porter, Hefe and IPA. A special thanks to the kind man Aaron Bush who produces the beer, we also visited the production unit too and I will remember this brewery tour. We ordered Chicken wings there and the food was great, along with a great service. After a long time it's an experience of having great beers in an welcoming ambience with a unique demo of the brewery. Thumbs up to your hospitality and thank you! Here're some photos that might be representative.

Just got done having a great night out with Plateau as our first and only stop. My husband and I are new to San Angelo and this brewery made us feel right at home. We stumbled in on trivia night (very lively and fun) and ended up with a tour through the brew room with the master brewer, Dave. Him and his wife are fantastic people. I highly recommend the Hunter’s Porter, it has a cacao and vanilla flavor that is fantastic! Picture here is Dave with myself and my husband, can’t wait to be regulars!
