We had a very nice time the restaurant was very clean and the service was great. There was plenty of parking. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible.

What a great place. We ate here three times since we stayed at the hotel next door. Our server, Aaron, was fabulous!! His recommendations were perfect. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the waffles and chicken were delicious. The French onion soup was on the sweet side and not salty at all. The meat in the Rueben wasn't fatty. The ONLY CON was that they were out of a few beer selections that I like. So I asked for an espresso martini, but they don't serve them. (WHY? THEY'RE SO DELICIOUS!) I instead got the chocolate martini that was horrible. I TOTALLY recommend stopping here for wings and a beer or two! Perfect place for watching sports.👍 OH, AND THE PICKLES WERE FIRE!!!!
L D — Google review
I recently dined at Heroes West restaurant, and while the food was enjoyable, I had an experience with the service that left me feeling uncomfortable. After finishing my sandwich, my server brought the bill without me asking for it, even though I still had some beer left. Although I ordered another beer, the early bill made me feel rushed, and I ultimately decided to leave rather than continue ordering other things like dessert or more beers. While I appreciated the food, the service experience overshadowed it. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning. (I hope this wasn’t the “race card,” I tolerate a lot being that I spent 3 decades in NYC. I hope it’s rather a lack of training). FHP Astro Rhino Beetle

We travel a lot for baseball, and we like to find local places to eat. This was one of the best lunches we've had in a very long time!! Excellent service and the food was really good!! Krystin deserves a raise!! We will be back next time we're in Joliet!!!
Julie M — Google review
The food was perfect and the waiter was very efficient and friendly. Steak was cooked medium and was 💯.
Nikcole — Google review
Typical sports bar. Aaron is a fantastic waiter. Had The Mayor which is thinly sliced prime rib served like an Italian beef. Homemade fries are good as were the pickles. With tip (I did have a drink) I spent about $40

Food was pretty freakin good and there was tvs playing sports… haha suprise we’re in a sports bar. The service was beyond phenomenal I was absolutely thrilled however they didn’t put cherrys in my sisters or my kitty cocktail like i asked soo don’t order a kitty cocktail but otherwise I would highly recommend if your looking for a nice chill place to enjoy a nice hot plate of food and it is very close to 4 hotels (Only one has a hottub😢)

American restaurant
Restaurant
Metro Grill & Bar is a contemporary restaurant and bar that offers a relaxed atmosphere with modern decor. Since its opening in 2004, it has become known for serving hearty American fare made with locally sourced ingredients and naturally raised meats. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes including wraps, paninis, sandwiches, salads, tacos, burgers, and chicken. Additionally, the restaurant prides itself on using scratch-made soups and sauces daily.
Got the mac and cheese brisket with shoe string onion rings. It was good food. But what made this a great experience was the customer service. Their staff was on point including the female bar tender and the male server (brian). This felt like old school service, welcoming and genuine. A bit pricey but I worth it IMO
Rich C — Google review
Oh my lord this place is such a lifesaver. I had such a terrible time at D'Arcy Hyundai, that I had to walk over (because my Hyundai from them is a piece of junk), and get something to drink. The food is priced well, cooked well, and tastes pretty damn good! The vodkas on the rocks are the only other thing aside from the food that's helping me get through this horrid morning. The server is a great person, and they pay attention to details and have had absolutely no issue giving extra tomato. Food is 5 stars, service is 5 stars, but atmosphere is a 4 because it's across the street from the devil's workshop, D'Arcy Hyundai.
Ohyu E — Google review
This is a nice location with great tasting food and good people. Unfortunately, they seem to have fallen victim to their own success. They have a table set up right by the bathroom behind the bar in a very small space (the one we were offered first) and another one in the aisle right by the bar where it definitely does not belong (the one we were told that was the only other table available at the time). Then there is the poor lady at the bar who is taking care of everyone at the bar and all the tables that are next to the bar, including ours. I felt guilty trying to get her attention to try to get the to go boxes and the bill after sitting idle for 10 minutes or so. Once again, no complaints about the food which was very good. Specifically we had Brisket Tacos and Cheesesteak Panini. Both were excellent and tasty. The reason for my thorough review above is mostly for the management of this place to hopefully pay more attention to the details. It’s better to be at capacity and turn people away than to put them right by the bathroom or in the aisle. Also, please get some help for your bartender. We went on a Thursday night, and it was still so busy that she and the others seem to just be running around trying to keep up.

Server Brian was friendly and efficient at his job today. He served my grandma and I for lunch. I absolutely loved the California stacker sandwich. I order it without lettuce and thankfully it came without the lettuce. Definitely will be back

It’s been 5 Years since I was here because of some very Rude Service from 1 of your Waiters. But after I was invited by a Couple of my Friends to celebrate their Birthdays Yesterday I returned. I’m pleased to say that Yesterday’s Visit was very enjoyable & what I would expect from a Restaurant like this. I enjoyed it so much that I returned Today to order a Salad To-Go. I’m eating it now & it’s Delicious! I’m sorry I spilled my Pink Lemonade. Thank You for a very splendid experience.

Today was our very first time visiting this amazing restaurant, and it did not disappoint! Our server, Laura W., was absolutely incredible—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was a solid 10/10, and the service matched it perfectly. Thank you, Laura, for making our first visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
Chyaire B — Google review
I ate here one time. The food was good once they got my order right. They brought me the wrong meal. So while everyone I was with was eating I had to wait. When we got the bill the wrong meal was on there also which cost more then what I ordered. So guess what? We had to wait again while that was being fixed.
Sherry — Google review
Been here twice, and the food is great. This time, they had a jumbo wing special for$5.50 for 6 jumbo wings. I got two and three potato wedges. My wife got another special, which was a meatloaf sandwich. It had a very thick fried cake of mashed potatoes. It was very good. The cocktails were tasty, and the service was great.

Juliet's Tavern is a charming restaurant located in a 19th-century building in downtown Joliet, Illinois. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming sports vibe make it an ideal spot for enjoying traditional Italian cuisine and American comfort food. The eclectic menu includes mouthwatering dishes like the Poutine Burger, Roasted Portabello Melt, Cajun Alfredo Pasta, and a popular 14-ounce grilled boneless Delmonico Ribeye.
Fantastic experience from the time we arrived until the time we left! Excellent food and service! We made a 6:30pm reservation ahead of time on Google Maps. It was a dinner reservation for our wedding anniversary. Table was ready for us as soon as we arrived. We were greeted with a smile and our waitress was excellent! She was always there to take care of us. For dinner, I had the grilled meatloaf with a side baked potato. My wife had the beef medallions. Both were excellent, but the meatloaf was incredible! So tasty! Cost for dinner and drinks was very reasonable. Excellent experience and highly recommended. We will be back soon! Enjoy!

Everything about this place was a little odd except the food, which was delicious. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides great. Music was very loud and odd choices. Yes, top hits of the 2010s is an easy choice, but didn’t go with the atmosphere of the upscale restaurant. Also played so loudly my guest and I had to yell over the table to talk to one another, in an empty restaurant, wasn’t the best. I would go back for the steak salad easily.

Great food and drinks! Staff is attentive and kind. The Juliet’s Burger was delicious & Juliet’s Martini was perfect!

Great for dietary friendly options. I’m gluten free and another member of our party is vegetarian. Unique gf bread option. Everything was good and the food came out quickly. Atmosphere is low key elegant and the staff was very pleasant. Would dine here again for sure!

Stopped in here on a Sunday before a wedding and the staff was amazing, the bartender Geddy was the best. Gave amazing recommendations for drinks and never aloud an empty glass to sit longer than a minute. Jacqueline the bar manager was super nice and always checking in on me also. Made us feel like VIPs!. First time at this establishment and definitely will be back next time we are in town because of them Solely. If the rest of the team works as well as these 2 they will definitely go places. Definitely made my time hear a amazing experience, 10/10. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to try the food but I'm sure it's great based on the workers!

Mixed on this spot . Went to meet friends before a show down street, owner was stressed over something and being not nice to people coming in ? Servers was great once we got to table. But the bs before killed lil of vibe

Dina D — Google review
This was a pleasant surprise that someone recommended to my wife. I wouldn’t call it cheap, but I found this to be a very good value for the quality! Sides were large portions. Steak was cooked perfectly and larger than comparable restaurants for price. Wife and I split loaded wedge and it was very large for price and high quality. They forgot to give us appetizer and gave us free dessert to make up for. They are putting out new menu soon hopefully the prices don’t go way up. I will say parking wasn’t easy or plentiful on weekend.

Irish pub
Chicago Street Pub is a popular Irish pub and restaurant located in downtown Joliet, IL. It's known for its lively atmosphere, live entertainment including trivia nights, open mic nights, and traditional Irish music. The menu offers a variety of bar foods such as salads, sandwiches like the Caesar Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, and classic dishes like fish 'n' chips. They also have seasonal specials like Pepperoni Pizza Soup.
Food was great. I enjoyed a perfect cheeseburger and loaded baked potato soup. They have a great Amber beer and a nice selection of whiskey as well. They have a friendly staff and an overall really cool place. Totally recommend Chicago Street Pub.

It is a great downtown pub. We went for live music. Place is clean and the lightning and woodwork is amazing. Old school pub vibe. We did not get a chance to try the food but I'd like to return to do so. Drinks were good. Service wonderful.
Catherine — Google review
The food tasted great but was very small portions. The vibe is awesome and is exactly like you would imagine for a Irish pub. Also had live music.
Bb T — Google review
This is my new go-to since I moved to the area, and as a nightshifter, my new favorite dinner at lunchtime. A wide variety of beers on tap and otherwise, a rock solid regular menu, and keep your eyes open on the specials! The service is off-the-charts friendly, and the decor is very much what you are looking for in an Irish pub. Great local business to support!
M B — Google review
Super fun pub with a great rueban. Had a great band. Overall great experience. Easy walk over the bridge from the free docks.
Brent N — Google review
The wife and I stopped here for lunch today. The inside was really neat, great service, and the food was fantastic. I had the Buffalo Bacon Blue Cheese Burger which was just right and my wife had the special which was a breaded BBQ Pork Tenderloin sammich with a delicious relish that tied it all together. We chose the cheesey potatoe casserole as a side and it was good. Prices were beyond great! Monday they have live traditional Irish music starting at 7:30pm.
Frank T — Google review
This place is small and dark because of old building in downtown Joliet. It is very comfortable there and usually there are live music on the weekends. The food is excellent and so is the atmosphere!

Fine dining restaurant
Al's Steak House Restaurant is an enduring American eatery that has been serving up juicy steaks and fresh seafood since 1959. With a capacity to accommodate around 150 individuals for special events, it's the perfect place to host gatherings while indulging in mouth-watering steak. The elegant dining room offers a cozy ambiance reminiscent of an old-school steakhouse, where you can enjoy Grecian-style steaks, double baked potatoes, and other delectable dishes.
We went there on 11/3 and we had a large group of 25 people. Our servers Sheila and Dan were awesome. Food tasted great. I had the New York Steak it was cooked to perfection, and the baked potato was delicious. The manager/ hostess Kim was very accommodating and a delight to deal with. I would highly recommend.

Wow if I could give more than 5 stars I could! Very speedy service! We got in at 715 got out at 830 after having had appetizer entree and dessert .Jenny was amazing 🤩 and so friendly! Food was delicious. We had the calamari as appetizer and filet mignon and New York strip as entrees and dessert as tiramisu .Drinks were great too.Better than gibsons and Morton’s , we have had food from both places . Owner came around to check on us too .
Smitha V — Google review
We went to Al’s steak house for our anniversary today. The service was a nice lady but we got there at 5 and didn’t leave until 7, the service was terribly slow. My husband got a New York strip steak and he said it was the worst steak he’s had in a while, no salt or seasoning just very bland. It’s a shame cause Al’s had such a nice reputation for delicious food and great service. Probably won’t go back for awhile since we spent so much for something so bland

Sushi Ya is a cozy Japanese restaurant and sushi bar offering a wide range of classic dishes. The menu features traditional sashimi, nigiri, maki rolls, hibachi, teriyaki, udon, and soba. Lunch specials are available from Monday to Saturday with options like bento boxes, sushi, hibachi, donburi, and noodles.
We’ve been to sushi ya multiple times. Hands down best sushi in the joliet area. Today was even better than the other times. Their crab rangoons were so good, and they make it there! And our server was Max, incredible service. He was super polite and attentive! Thank you!!!
Gabriela O — Google review
There are many many years and memories with Sushi Ya. I can’t believe I haven’t posted a Google review! I’ve been coming to this wonderful establishment since I was a teenager and Sushi Ya has always been one of my favorite nostalgic spots. I always appreciated the hard work of the master chefs who create their artistic work in their food. And when I say artistic I mean they go all in! Order one of their sushi specialties and you will see for yourself as the chef’s delicately placed all their ingredients for their masterpieces. Sadly I was a bit disappointed at one of their customized orders for a very special baby shower that was paid by her beautiful sister…however after she ordered this platter I couldn’t be mad at them due to the amount of fish. This time was filled with their other special ingredients other than rice. Thank you to the wonderful and memorable staff of Sushi Ya. 🤓👍🍣🍱 To this day you still create more memories even on wheels 🛞 thank you Roula and Ivan.
Mariella H — Google review
Food came out hot. Waitresses were pleasant and knowledgeable on the menu. Place is clean and smells good. Ordered crab Rangoon but it’s cheese Rangoon eliminating the crab. It’s a cheeper version and doesn’t taste as good. However just don’t order the Rangoon. Looks like they have all you can eat sushi. Which is a plus! And they have hibachi which is delicious. I will come again. Good restaurant and tasty food!
May H — Google review
It’s sometimes hard to find a good sushi place to eat but Sushi Ya definitely is amazing. Great food, amazing people. If you’re a fan of sushi check this place out! Had the Spicy Vegas and 2-n-1 with crab ragoon, so delicious!
Jamie G — Google review
Got AYCE here tonight and everything was great! Stayed right up until they closed at 10, no one was rude or rushing to get us out. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was delicious.
Whin Z — Google review
The food was delicious. Everything was fried and made to perfection. The issue and why I’m giving this place is due to the service. While we were eating I was unable to hear my wife talk due to how loud the waitress were talking. It was almost as if they were screaming while they were talking to one another. There also was a moment that left a bad taste in my mouth. There was another customer who was having an issue with the service and when they left, the staff ended up talking mess about the customers. I don’t have an issue with staff talking about customers, especially rude ones. My issue was that again they were so loud about it. I was able to hear their entire conversation from the other side of the restaurant. I would highly suggest that management trains their staff to at least speak more quietly and to not talk bad about customer while they are open. Once they get their staff under control this place can easily be a 5 star restaurant
Max T — Google review
Well Sushi Ya didn't fail. Definitely lived up to all the awesome reviews. Great sushi.... Definitely get the Vegas Roll and the Cowboy Roll. You will not be disappointed. I think we ate so much edamame that we couldn't finish our sushi! Serves for 2nds.
Oscar S — Google review
We used to really enjoy Sushi Ya, but the quality has plummeted in the last few months. Our recent visit was incredibly disappointing. The hibachi was subpar: both the steak and shrimp were overcooked, dry, served cold, and smothered in an overly sweet brown sauce. The vegetables looked fine but were completely inedible because they were drowned in that same sauce. The salads were awkward to eat, with huge chunks of lettuce crammed into tiny bowls. The edamame was old, mushy, and not salted at all. Unfortunately, the sushi was the worst part—it tasted “off,” and within minutes of leaving, we had to make an emergency stop at a gas station. Sushi Ya used to be a place we recommended, but not anymore. The decline in food quality is staggering. Very disappointing. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch on st. Patrick's day. We had tried this place via delivery in 2020 and it was meh. After searching for recommendations on a chicken sandwich this place was mentioned multiple times. I tried the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I ordered a side of coleslaw and added it to the sandwich and that made it perfect imo. We loved everything we ordered and service was fantastic. Can't wait to explore more of the menu!

We were looking for a place with a great vibe and fantastic food, and we stumbled upon Craft’d. It was a perfect casual atmosphere. The beer was cold and the food was amazing. I had the Hot Honey Chicken with sweet potatoe fries and I would recommend to anyone. My husband had the breakfast burger and the bacon on it was sublime! If you haven’t been, you need to try out Craft’d!!

Foods great, service as well. But went to watch the bears game and none of the TVs were synced and the audio would let us know there was a touchdown before we even saw it. Other than that hiccup, great food great atmosphere

My wife and I went to dinner here with my parents. Despite being very busy we only had to wait a few minutes to get seated. If you have a party of 8 or more you can make reservations otherwise its first come first serve. We got seated at a booth and they are very large and can hold 5 or 6 people comfortably. There were a lot of TV's so it would be a good atmosphere to watch a game. The service wasn't super quick, but it was also pretty busy. Our server was very friendly and made good suggestions. They have a large selection of mixed drinks and craft beer. My wife got an old fashioned and enjoyed it very much. The food was good and the portion sizes were large. Expect to spend around $15 for a sandwich and about $19-$20 for a burger. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable experience and I would recommend it to others.

The Rialto Square Theatre, located in Joliet, has been a prominent entertainment venue since its opening in 1926. This ornate and historic vaudeville theater hosts a variety of performances including plays, concerts, orchestral productions, expos, Broadway spectacles, dance recitals, and musical concerts. The Neo-Baroque facade adds to the grandeur of the theater's architecture.
We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful Renaissance style theater. We got to see ancient aliens and it was so informative. We had a great experience. There were sodas and drinks and popcorn and different types of treats. The inside and outside of the theater are very clean and all of the staff were very friendlyeasy parking as well.

Fantastic wedding venue. Wedding reception started with cocktails and hors d'oeuvre on the main Rialto theater stage. The wedding couple made a grandiose entrance from the second floor balcony into the rotunda section of the great hall for their first dance. Dinner was in the main foyer hall which is absolutely stunning with marble and mirrors reminiscent of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. Just a spectacular facility right in Joliet.

Truly a work of staggering beauty. A must-see building if you're a fan of lavish architecture, neo-Baroque style or remotely in the area. The staff exhibit great hospitality, they're all very welcoming and knowledgeable. They were able to help find my seat when I arrived slightly late to the event The theatre itself is well designed with wide aisles and the same beautiful and detailed friezes and bas reliefs. They do a lot of local events that make use of the theatre space, which makes it a great local institution

Great theater. Personally I'd like to see more rock and blues bands like the Arcada gets but maybe whoever is booking the acts has other preferences.

Just a beautiful venue. The architecture and interior design of the venue is just breathtaking. Wonderful place for live entertainment.

They have a tour of the theater on Tuesday’s. My friend took me and it was so informative and beautiful. Best 5 bucks I ever spent. This is a MUST see! The coolest thing is the organ they give you a small concert and you can actually sit on it and play it, very, very fun.

Cemeno's Pizza is a beloved Italian eatery that has been serving up award-winning pizza, pasta, and sandwiches since 1976. This family-owned restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with outdoor seating and a full bar. Their menu features a variety of options including specialty pizzas like the spinach calabrese, as well as classic dishes such as chicken bruschetta pasta.
We love this long time staple in Joliet and are willing to drive long distances to eat their awesome pizza. You’ve never had a bad server here, either. Really one of our favorite places to go but kids love it too.

We attended our nieces wedding reception today and we were thoroughly impressed with the venue. The food was exceptionally good and the service was unbelievable, very warm and friendly. If you are going out for a casual dinner, the Chicken Vesuvio was tasty and the pizza is delicious. Mangiare 😋

Consistently good Great service/ super professional for events with dedicated rooms and experienced people Above all…….. DELICIOUS PIZZA!!! Great salads!!
John C — Google review
Have always enjoyed eating and ordering take out from Cemeno's. Never an issue when eating in, very enjoyable. However, there is a big disconnect, in quality and attention to detail on take out and delivery orders. We have called in the past and issues are resolved, with a credit or another being sent out, which is appreciated. In truth, we were looking for it to be correct when ordered. The last three orders Pizzas were not made as ordered and the antipasta salad was essentially all lettuce and minimal other ingredients. I don't want have to that customer calling to complain.

We made last minute reservations for a rehearsal dinner for 25 people. They graciously accommodated us. The food was excellent. Our waitress was amazing. So pleasant and patient! I called the next day to order 12 pizzas for delivery to our wedding venue for the late night wedding snack. Again so accommodating! The pizza was delivered right on time nice and hot! Great place and great people. Thanks Cemenos. You helped make our event perfect!

Best pizza from a personal pizza to a big fiesta pizza plenty of choices for toppings and crusts. My wife's go to for Gluten-free

Average food & service. The small dinner salad was overloaded with croutons & cucumbers. No tomatoes, onion or anything else on the salad. Picture below shows how many croutons & cucumbers I took off my salad. I ate 1/2 that amount. Pizza was ok. Seems like something has changed there. Also, water was dripping from the ceiling onto my arm during dinner.

Syls Restaurant & Lounge is a timeless gem nestled in Joliet, offering an exquisite dining experience since 1946. This classic American supper club exudes old-world charm with its elegant decor, featuring oriental carpets and tasteful drapery that create a warm ambiance. Guests can choose to dine at beautifully set tables or enjoy drinks at the stylish wraparound bar. The menu boasts a delightful array of dishes, from perfectly broiled steaks and succulent seafood to mouthwatering prime rib and chops.
Loved this place! The lobster sautéed with flour in that butter you use is absolutely divine. Prime rib was great. But the chicken dumpling soup is probably one of the best soups I have ever had. We had to order 2 to go. Waitress was very friendly. Expensive, but a great value given the atmosphere, food and service. The singer/piano player was very entertaining. Surprised it was not very busy. Perfect place for us out of towners! Thanks for a great meal. Keep up the great work.

Food was great. I ordered a poor boy sammie and loved it. The steak was cooked just right and none of it was chewie. The staff was excellent, very professional and helpful. My wife ate something, I dont remember what it was but she liked it. My mom got the perch, it was pretty good. The calamari appetizer was fantastic too. Great taste, no rubber pieces, would order again.

Good visit. Service was pleasant. I ordered the scallops and French onion soup. Hubby ordered the rib eye and linguine. I also enjoyed a hot cup of The Nutty Irishman (boozy coffee drink, but not really boozy). That was good too. Also had strawberry sauce on our slice of cheesecake.

Nestled in Joliet, McBride's on 52 is the perfect spot for those seeking a lively atmosphere filled with American comfort food and refreshing drinks. This inviting Irish pub boasts both indoor seating and a spacious outdoor patio, making it an ideal destination for sports enthusiasts looking to catch the big game. Guests rave about the delicious menu options, including favorites like the Tuscan chicken sandwich and juicy bacon cheddar burgers.
We were passing through the area for a sports tournament and truly enjoyed our time here the drinks were fun and the food was delicious. It’s a large space with also an outdoor area and the waitress was very accommodating, although we wanted to sit in the rain. Patrice weathered the storm literally and was willing to seat us outside to stay out of the AC. I would add pictures but we ate it all! Highly recommend the Tuscan chicken sandwich, every kind of potato they serve and of course Patrice!

Nice sports bar, with large menu variety. Huge bar with plenty of seating. Stuffed jalapeños were tasty with just enough heat.
Tomas Z — Google review
The food had no seasoning to taste. The burger looks good but tasted bland. The chips and nacho cheese sauce were the worst tasting cheese. We didn't finish it. Curly fries and ranch dressing were both good. Our waitress was really nice and made our family feel welcomed. The food just needs seasoning.
Michelle — Google review
When your kitchen staff can't make a bacon cheeseburger plain only mayo, you may want to rethink who does the hiring and who you are hiring. Wasted over 30 minutes of my Friday having to come back and have my food remade because you kitchen staff either can't read or don't care enough to make the food properly. Do better! First visit that will HAPPILY be my last. Believe the other reviews. The food is bland, tasteless and overpriced. You can go down to McDonald's and get a better tasting Burger and fries than what this place charges. That should say ALOT. The food here is absolutely horrendous. If you want a drink and a bar atmosphere go here, if you want tasty, edible food, go somewhere else.

We were a party of 10 yesterday and our servers name was Lily. She was fantastic! With a group like that , plus her other tables , of course she’s going to be busy. But this attentive young lady took it all in stride, remembered food and drink orders and didn’t mind when we asked to get a knife and forks because we were celebrating a birthday. First time eating at this location ( have eaten at the Morris location previously) . Food was just as good and the wait was minimal. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant and ask for Lily to be your server! Linda

My wife, my mom and I stopped in for lunch last Friday. I've been to McBride's several times. It's a great place to watch a game. Hang out with friends and have a few drinks for dinner or lunch. As usual, they did not disappoint! I had the bacon cheddar burger with fries It was very juicy! My wife had the Chicken Caprice panini with tater tots. It is a very tasty well made sandwich and the tater tots were nice and crispy ! My mom had the bacon mushroom Swiss burger. And it was out of sight! The food, the service and the atmosphere are spot on!!! Hats off to our waitress Christine, you are a very good server my dear thank you very much and thanks again to McBride's see you again soon!

Nestled next to the iconic Rialto Square Theatre, CUT 158 Chophouse is a chic steakhouse that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Since its inception in 2018, this establishment has captivated food enthusiasts with its commitment to high-quality ingredients and locally sourced produce. The menu boasts a delightful array of options, including succulent Steak Tartar, Grilled Swordfish, and the impressive 45-Day Aged Boneless Ribeye.
I was very pleased with our experience here. I had the surf and turf with scallops and my husband had the surf and turf with lobster. They were both incredible. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had awesome flavor! The mashed potatoes that came as the side were to die for! We will be back for sure!

Ryan- valet friendly and personable. Jaymez - our server, was very knowledgeable, interactive, and a pleasure to talk with. First off, we arrived and saw they had complimentary valet parking. This was a nice plus! We started with cocktails, old fashions were made just right. We had the lamb chops and the fisherman's grill (see photos). Everything was amazing, flavorful and portioned well. We had the caprese and the tomato goat cheese. Both unique and a great pre course to the main entrée. For the main we had the special. A 10 oz filet, one standard and one with the blue cheese crust as well as a lobster tail, mixed with cheese butter and all sorts of deliciousness. For sides we had the mushrooms, brussle sprouts with bacon and a baked potato. All of which was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a up scale steakhouse with great atmosphere, amazing staff, and even better food!

The restaurant was nice. My only issue was that the food was cold when we received it. The crab cake was good. I was starting to think I don't like real cakes, but I like theirs. The flavors of the meal were delicious. I did not complain because it was a birthday celebration and I didn't want a reheated meal.
Gwen A — Google review
Had the ahi tuna appetizer along with the grilled calamari, octopus and shrimp dish. The octopus was very good and tender. All had great flavor. Some pieces of the calamari were a little chewier than others but its no big deal. I had the bison filet which had great flavor and was cooked perfect and was very tender and red potatoes as my side. Not pictured is the ny strip with scallops and a crab cake. The crab cake was one of the best ones due to it not being all breadcrumbs and actually had crab. Scallops were cooked great. The steak being a ny strip wasn't the most tender but it had great flavor and was cooked to how it was ordered. Wasn't expecting a ny strip to be like a filet so its understandable since it's two different levels of quality of meat. Oh and carrot cake was delicious. 😁

We have dined at CUT 158 multiple times now over the years, and each visit has been fantastic. The food that Chef Jeremy and his culinary team create is always delicious and brings us back for more. Couple that delicious food with the outstanding wine and cocktail offerings, and you have a winning combination. Excellent service is provided on all levels from front of house, to the bartenders, to the bussers, and lastly the amazing waitstaff which rounds out the whole experience. We are so grateful to have such a nice restaurant nearby in beautiful downtown Joliet. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed. Thank you CUT 158 team!

Fantastic dining experience! One of the best I’ve ever had! Top to bottom from food to service, it was an excellent evening. Very attentive and friendly wait staff. Appetizers came out quickly once we ordered them and the meal was served shortly thereafter. They even comped us our dessert! Excellent experience for my wife and I celebrating our anniversary there. We will definitely be back again. Enjoy! Also, they have a great bar onsite to have a few drinks before or after dinner.

Nestled in Joliet, Jitters Coffee House is a charming weekday retreat that transports you back to the late 1880s with its cozy decor and community-focused vibe. Although it takes a break on weekends, this locally owned gem serves up an impressive array of American and Italian coffee favorites alongside delicious breakfast options. The warm banana bread and creamy iced coffee are must-tries, while the crunchy granola adds a delightful touch to your morning meal.
I came in for breakfast this morning with some friends (my first time at the cafe), and I loved it! I ordered a strawberry French toast and Nutella iced latte, along with a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin. They were both really good! I loved the decorations and music playing, and the staff was very friendly. The student discount is also really nice. Will definitely come again when I get the chance! ☺️

First time trying out this coffee shop and it was really good. I had the bacon egg and cheese on a Asiago bagel so good and also had the iced coffee. My wife had the avocado toast with a hot matcha latte she really liked it. Will definitely come back and try out other food items on their menu.

Meet with a sharp rude manner after I stated I had thought Jitters brought us free ice coffees a few days ago. They informed me they have lines every morning and don’t need to bother handing out ice coffees to get customers in the area they already have too many! It wasn’t a great first impression and she continued to tell me how wonderful they were compared to all the other coffee shops in joliet. It really was an odd conversation. Will NOT return. Coffee didn’t taste good either. Too bad.

I had some time before needing to be at a meeting down the road from Jitters. Never being here before the staff were tremendously helpful in helping select my delicious drink "Iced Freddo Cappuccino" Along with a tasty and filling bacon, egg and asiago cheese bagel sandwich! Celebrating 🙌 a successful recovery at Jitters☕️ coffee shop in Joliet on February 21, 2024. Jitters banana 🍌 bread 🍞 was so warm, thick, and rich. The ice 🧊 coffee ☕️ was creamy and delightful 😋 it gave me the energy to power through the rest of my day. Their granola was crunchy and scrumptious I felt like it was homemade granola. The co worker was so patient, answering Ama’s questions about their ingredients due to her health restrictions. Our first visit was on our friends wedding day September 30, 2023, few months after the kidney donation surgery. GG mentioned they had really good coffee and the staff were very hard working and welcoming. I was determined to stop at the Jitters store front to see her brother ROHO Garcia’s collaboration with Joliet’s Sound of Art. When you go inside be sure to look up 👀 at their trim with a beautiful teal/dark green color.💚 Business meetings 📆 friend get togethers, or a quick coffee with a stranger this spot is definitely 💯 a vibe in Joliet promoting art, history, and great coffee. Thank you 🙏 to the staff of Jitters.

Great Iced coffee, menu had a lot of options to choose from. All the food seemed hand made and fresh, I regret not getting breakfast there because the coffee was so affordable I got a big, really great tasting iced coffee for like 4-5$ and a big cup of ice. The lady wasn’t gonna charge me for the ice which was nice but supporting small businesses is important so I paid for it. Very nice employees. Lots of good places to sit inside and outside. Cool atmosphere, loved the wall paper and the sitting areas and decorations. There was a piano inside too which was cool. If I’m ever in Joliet again I’m going there for coffee and I’m getting food next time.

Not only does this place have great vibes and yummy drinks they are so welcoming. I’m a mother and often feel uneasy bringing my busy little toddler into adult spaces but they are so kind and even added little vintage chairs and a table for little kids after our weekly visits became a regular thing. You can definitely feel the family owned love that goes into creating this third space in our community.

Here’s a polished version of your compliment: “I want to take a moment to commend Jennifer, the bartender, for her phenomenal service. She was incredibly accommodating, gracious, and went above and beyond to assist me with some PENN Play issues. Her professionalism and willingness to help made a huge difference in my experience. I’d also like to acknowledge the manager, who was equally attentive and supportive. Together, they created an exceptional atmosphere that reflects a true commitment to customer satisfaction. Decided to give it a chance since we were on the Casino and wanted to grab a small bite and drinks. As we sat down the waiter was rushing us to order so we picked some drinks I had the raspberry John Daly and my partner the sucker punch and it was absolutely disgusting $12 for juice, drink was so watered down just felt the pure syrup so we decided to not even try the food since once plate where coming out customers where returning them, so we paid for the drinks and left.
Rameci R — Google review
I do not recommend the ribs or the nachos. The ribs were very tough and were sent back. The nachos were not great, but were a step up from the ribs. If you're getting the nachos I hope you are really into refried beans. My wife liked the Asian salad though.

6/14/25 had the pleasure of being served by your prison guard (waitress) Lisa! We were the 1st ones to be seated and the last ones to get our order in. We know you are closing soon but to treat your customers poorly doesn't help with a new opening elsewhere! The food has slowly declined into being horrendous! If you mention it they get a complete attitude slamming stuff and stomping off. NO need for all that! I ordered nachos and left behind a bag of plain chips (NO cheese). Egg rolls cold in the middle. And sliders were usually small. Cutting corners will NOT winning customers at your new place. Well maybe you won't even end up at the new casino and probably aren't worthy for the sopt anyways. Last time eating here for sure!

Dog friendly, nice outside seating, lots of inside seating. The bartenders are always super friendly! They have some of the best pretzels I’ve ever had.

Nice comfy place. Service was good and they let you try a splash before ordering. Great listening to vinyl. The beer was ok nothing special. The heritage stout was a normal stout. The milkshake ipa was anything but that. The black ipa was ok and not bitter. The rocket Queen was odd, Maybe old but not much of an ipa. My first thought after trying was cpt crunch🤷🏻

Visited with a colleague while traveling to the Joliet area. I loved the selection of IPAs and the service Brian gave us. We came during the dead of winter, and due to the outdoor seating and pet friendliness, this would be an ideal summer hangout. Definitely try the Rocket Queen and Gizmo! Their Melted Cups porter is also a winner.

Nicely decorated tap room with a large variety of tasty beers and awesome atmosphere. I had the pleasure of tasting several of their beers before I settled down for a favorite. I can honestly say that all of the beers I tasted were delicious. But at the end of the day, I settled for a beer called "riding double shotgun" a New England style hazy double IPA. They also carry a few other beers and ciders from their competitors. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable with their beer menu and beer options. If you're in the area give them a try and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is a local brewery and we would totally give them our business but the service is awful. Every year we attempt to see if things change and they don’t. Customer service is by far the worst. We came in ordered beer and when we asked for water the bartender literally said oh you can fill it in the bathroom. So many ways to respond! I get it some places don’t have filtered water but I can give you tap from back here, but she honestly said you can fill it up in the bathroom. Like really Plus they apparently ran out of glasses and poured 2 - 5oz glasses instead of restocking a 10oz glass. If you don’t have enough glasses don’t offer 5oz, 10oz and 16oz. Hopefully this brewery can hire better help and work on customer service.

Going to Will County Brewing has always felt like a warm hug to me. There are always great beers on tap and they are just the place to unwind after a stressful day. Rocket Queen & Bamm-Bamm Loves Pebbles are supreme! Jamie and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Love that they are dog friendly & you can bring your own food too. My husband and I have also hosted two parties here, they will let you reserve community tables & provide a food/cake table for you - our friends/family always have a good time doing this!

Conveniently located just north of I-55, in a strip mall. Nice space, apparently recently remodeled inside and currently remodeling the patio outside. Found a beer that I liked after trying 3 pours. Unfortunately they don’t serve food, but they have tasty bags of pretzels. The Cheddar Cheese were yummy!

Friendly atmosphere, tasty craft beers and awesome place to spend an evening. You can bring your own food or order from the two restaurants in the same plaza, there's a pizza place and a cafe. But the best part will be the beer. You can get a 5oz taster glass, a flight or a full pint. They also have growlers, but were sold out when we went.

We are riding down to Joliet and noticed this little jem as we were gettin pretty thirsty. I had the chance to meet Stella herself, and she was a peach! This place seems like a fun, neighborhood, spot that is very welcoming. Spent my time on the patio and it was relaxing for sure.

It's not even a question "how this place was" a diamond in the rough"...8am open. Not sure on closing time I'm a morning type of person. Stella the owner is a treat too good to beat. Halloween for adults. Best times I've had in quite a while. Great bartender and customers. I've been back several times.
Alex B — Google review
Stella's is all about the warm, friendly ambiance. The first beer I ever had here was on the house, courtesy of Stella herself. She's a larger-than-life, salt of the earth type with a heart of gold, and her place reflects her personality. If you remember 'Cheers', then Stella's will seem mighty familiar. The regular crowd includes artists, town council members, bankers, engineers, bikers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians - in short, just about anyone you could name. They have a limited menu (popcorn and frozen pizza - but the pizza is actually quite good especially considering it's only $6), but there's always a seat available for you - except on weekends, when all the seats are filled, there's still plenty of standing room. No pool tables or dart board. . . a few video games and the best jukebox around - but still a great place to hang out, do some shots, and have some drinks and meet tons of great new friends!

Despite some complaints about the limited space in the bathrooms, visitors appreciate the accessible bar and good food at reasonable prices.
Cool venue with an upper level if you don’t wanna be in the crowd. They also have another bar up top as well. The sound was great as well

Nice music hall with good sound. The bartender was real easy to work with even offering suggestions. Only a couple complaints. It got really hot in there for an April concert. They need to control this better. Also, seating center balcony is rough. We got there 30 mins before the show. You'd think center is good, but since you only reserve the section and it curves out, we need up at the end of the curve and was a little more difficult to see the show. Thankfully we had good fans that moved for easier viewing.

One of the old time gems it’s worth checking out if you’re into architecture and music. The Australian Pink Floyd show was amazing! They do a really good job with all the volunteer help they have
Hal C — Google review
The staff at this venue is absolutely top notch. The night before the concert that we drove several hours to see, there were intense storms that blew out the glass of the main door and blew the roof off of the building across the street. Most venues would have closed due to the damage. The Forge and their amazing staff overcame the difficulties posed, and went on with the concert. They used their side door instead of the front, and managed to keep everyone safe through the security check and everything all through the side door. Amazing to see how well they kept everything running smoothly. This is one of those clubs where the magic happens and raw, live music is created with pure talent and energy. The acoustics were really great. The stage is elevated so you can see the performers from every angle. A.D.A. accomodations are to the side of the stage and can be set up/ assisted by asking the employees or security as you come in.
J P — Google review
Absolutely fantastic venue every time we go. Thanks to everyone who went, and the ticket lady who kindly offered my stubborn husband a spot in ADA when we hadn't ordered one.
Rowan B — Google review
First time visiting this venue, severely disappointing. I can say that the staff was nice, but didn't seem to care a whole lit about what was going on. First thing we noticed was the floors were stickier than any movie theater could be. The venue seemed like a nice place, I've only ever heard good things, but we were let down. We purchased VIP balcony seats. We went up there to get our seats and the bar was empty. We had went back down to step outside for a minute and were told the balcony was closed. But I didn't get a refund for the difference in the seats. They ended up putting us in front of the stage. Which sounds great, but the sound quality there and having to look up the whole time sucked. I always prefer balcony seating. We waited to eat at the venue because it seemed convenient as we didn't know the area. But, alas, the kitchen was closed. We went to the bar, I ordered a sprite and vodka. I was told they were out of vodka! So I asked for a sprite, and they were out of sprite! And absolute joke. The show was just ok. Forgettable really. Probably won't come back to this venue.
Josh H — Google review
Love the small venue, close to home feel. Depending on the genre you may need earplugs, good sound but loud. 2 levels with 2 bars stocked with the basics. A couple craft brew cans and seltzers.. Getting good musicians in here. Cool staff.

Wedding venue
Embers is a spacious venue with modern industrial decor, offering a variety of craft brews and updated pub food. It's an ideal location for events like weddings, with the second floor accommodating up to 175 guests and featuring a catwalk and back patio for receptions. The food prepared by Chef Bobby receives high praise, while efficient bartenders keep the drinks flowing smoothly. Additionally, Embers hosts special events such as Valentine's Day Comedy Dinner Shows, providing excellent service and delicious surf and turf dinners.
I recently hosted my daughter's wedding shower at Embers and it exceeded all my expectations! The brunch setup for our 79 guests was perfectly executed. Reserving the entire second floor provided an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. Special thanks to our Event Coordinator, Ann, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Her team was also exceptional, ensuring every detail was taken care of. Highly recommend Embers for any large event!

What a neat place, 3 floors, 1st floor is your bar/restaurant area. 2nd floor is for banquets, 3rd floor is a speakeasy. Take the elevator under the barber shop sign to the 3rd floor. They have 3 rooms, 1 room holds the bar, the other 2 you can have party's. Gracie and Katie were our bar tenders for the night, and they were awesome. They were super nice and friendly and very helpful!. The food was good. The drinks were delicious and went down very smoothly. Gracie even let me sample a drink she was working on creating, which I believe will become a very big hit! Gracie was even kind enough to show us around. We will definitely come back again. We had so much fun!

The food is sooo good and the chef is a top notch chef. We enjoyed every bite.

Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet – May 11, 2025 We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant for their Mother’s Day brunch buffet! The food was outstanding—from the fresh, made-to-order omelet station to the wide variety of delicious entrees, sides, and mouthwatering desserts. Everything was top-notch. What truly made the day feel special were the thoughtful extras: bottomless mimosas for all the moms, beautiful vases with fresh flowers at each table, live music that added a lovely ambiance, and even a professional photographer available to capture memories if you chose. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. I’m already looking forward to returning on a regular day, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic brunch experience or a special celebration spot!

What an excellent coffee shop. As many coffee shops that I frequent around the world this one is among the very best. Service is wonderful and staff is very attentive. Coffee and food are top notch. The fresh roasted coffee was smooth with no bitterness. The coffee shop is kept very clean, which includes the bathrooms. You can enjoy indoor or outdoor seating. You can have a conversation with someone at your table without being blow away by the music or loud employees. The café is very cozy. I could not recommend them enough. I discovered they were consistently excellent on several visit. The staff deserve a raise ! If I were the owner I would be very proud of these ladies. Their hard work is evident. I would highly recommend a visit. I can't wait till my next visit. YES, I AM A COFFEE SNOB ! I am not related to anyone associated with this business... just an FYI.

Lock & Mule by Tangled Roots Brewing Company is a new addition to Lockport, situated near Embers Tap House. It is the third establishment from Tangled Roots Brewing Company, with their other locations being The Lone Buffalo in Ottawa and Hangar Two in Glenview. Their menu revolves around a large wood fire grill that brings out the delicious flavors of meats and vegetables.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lock & Mule — they hosted my bridal shower brunch and absolutely knocked it out of the park! From start to finish, Courtney and her incredible team were so organized, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. The food was delicious, and the space was just beautiful; it created the perfect atmosphere for such a special day. I got so many compliments on the venue choice, and everyone had an amazing time. I’m so grateful to Lock & Mule for making the day so memorable. I would highly recommend them for any event they truly went above and beyond!
Erin M — Google review
When we arrived, I was impressed by the spacious industrial - rustic vibe that is prevalent in a lot of restaurants currently, with garage doors windows that would certainly be welcome during Summer months. The music is audible but not overbearing, just the right volume for people to converse and enjoy each other's company. Lock & Mule features 20 home-brewed beers, so I decided on the flight, which offered 4 two-ounce servings. I chose the Birthday Lager, Shamhop Irish Red, Black Cherry Vibes and the BA Bananas Foster Dobroy Nochi Imperial Stout (Stouts weren't typically on their flights, but since they were featuring the Bananas Foster, they made an exception). Our server, Dayna, was extremely attentive, bringing issues to the attention of her manager, Courtney, who was quick to acknowledge, empathize, and handle our issues. What issues? The main issue was our salad. The pasta was underdone. A single issue, really. Dayna and Courtney went above and beyond, having a sincere conversation about the issue, and offering to remove the item from the bill, which was unexpected and appreciated. I chose the Halfway to Nashville chicken sandwich, which was a flavorful chicken breast topped with bacon and Carolina BBQ sauce. It was quite good and worth the wait (Dayna wanted to ensure my fries were crispy, which they absolutely were!) I opted for the tiramisu for dessert which I highly recommend, topped with a generous amount of mascarpone cheese, built on a foundation of the fingers soaked in a combination of espresso and imperial stout. Overall, this was a very satisfying experience with attentive, friendly servers, an inviting atmosphere, a killer tiramisu, and serviceable stout. Thanks, for being another fine eating experience in the Will County area.

Diego was maybe the best server that I have ever had in Lockport! I was never left hanging. He had all the answers. He knew all the best beers (there are many at this wonderful establishment). In particular the nachos here were unbelievable! They had everything you would want and nothing you don't! It was a perfect happy hour that made this hot June evening perfect! Hats off to Lock and Mule and especially Diego!

We had an amazing experience at Lock & Mule Brewery, thanks to the incredible service from our server, Ari, and the outstanding hospitality of manager Courtney. Ari was warm, attentive, and had great recommendations—she made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. Her timing was perfect, and she struck the perfect balance between friendly and professional. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows! Courtney, the manager, was equally impressive. She checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly she’s very welcoming and great with the staff. You can feel the positive culture in this place. The food and drinks were fantastic as always, but it’s the people who make Lock & Mule truly stand out. Huge thanks to Ari and Courtney for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Arrowhead Ales was very busy during my visit, but the staff was still attentive and friendly. It’s a nice place if a bit loud, and the beer is good. Service was kinda subpar. Server would do such fast checks on our table it was hard to ask for anything and she got part of our order wrong. Didn't want to correct it because it took 40+minutes for 2 sandwiches and an order of fish and chips to come out. The fish was cold and the chips were soggy. Sent it back. New order came to me and it was frozen in the middle, chips were still undercooked and soggy again as well.

Had a couple of drinks here. Ask for the bartender, Joe. He is phenomenal, always on top of our drinks and smiling. The Barricade after Dark is a unique beer aged in tequila barrels recommended by Joe. The manager Kimmie was smiling and very welcoming as well. Gustos Bar & Grill, located on the border of Joliet and Crest Hill, is a lively dive bar that hosts pool and dart tournaments. It's a popular spot for singles in Joliet, offering karaoke, DJs, or live bands on Friday nights. The place is known for its great burgers and drinks. The flat Burger double Patty is particularly recommended as it's made with meat from Mitchell's butcher shop.
My wife and I finally got a chance to check out Gustos, we had a blast. Everyone was extremely friendly from the staff to the patrons. Drinks were good and the food was fabulous. Definitely recommend the flat burgers. Their wings, are the best around, finally found wings that taste like they do in Western NY. I loved talking to Char (one of the workers) when I did go there. Also I used to love their burgers. They do have good fries and onion rings. However, my last time going there the manager made my burger. He wasn't friendly, I waited a long time to get it and I wasn't satisfied at all. In addition to that I didn't even receive any condiments. When I went back inside and went to the bar area no one approached me. I had to walk to the back to talk to Char again while the manager was just staring at me. On top of that, my burger wasn't even hot, it was just warm. Due to their poor service, I won't be back.

Cozy dive bar that has a $10minimum if you're using a credit or debit card. Narrow walkways but a pretty big U-shaped bar. I like this bar but it's not for everyone and an acquired taste..

Great burger, great drink. I'm pretty sure it's the best burger I've ever had out and I've had a lot of burgers. The flat Burger double Patty was cooked perfect. The drink was poured well. By far the most racist establishment I've EVER encountered in my life. We were flat out told we couldn't hear any hip hop because the owner doesn't want that crowd at their bar. Were also told to leave because a white girl left her seat open for 10+ minutes to smoke a cigarette then came back arguing. The bar tender told us She is best friends with the owner so no matter who was wrong we ALL had to go. So discriminatory and unjust.

RACIST BAR ! All money is green go figure morons . Go to Anthony’s by the mall it’s way better and better music.

Service was very friendly. Atmosphere was very joyful, we're recommend this place for a fun atmosphere and a few drinks

Fun little neighborhood place that often features live local talent. Although they don't serve food, they partner with the next door restaurant and have an order window inside the bar for customer convenience. Fun place with nice outdoor patio with band stage. Great place to meet up with friends.

Fireman Ted's Bar and Grill is a popular spot in Joliet, especially for the thirty-plus crowd. The bar serves standard but delicious greasy bar fare, and its huge island bar makes mingling with others easy. Customers have enjoyed live music, fair-priced cocktails, and tasty loaded tater tots. The special deals on hot dogs, fries or tots, and Italian beef sandwiches were also well-received. Visitors appreciate the friendly atmosphere created by the staff members Ted and Ryan.
My friend and I stepped out to check out a band, " Greg's Fender Benders " playing at Fireman Ted's Bar and Grill. It was a good time with great people. Cocktails were on point and at a fair price. The loaded tater tots were yummy as well. I'll definitely be coming back. I'm all about supporting local businesses.

Nice local watering hole. Large bar with larger space good for dancing and watching bands.
Mark L — Google review
Came here Tuesday and Wednesday and I loved the bartender made it super easy to place a takeout order for my lunch! However today the bartender said take out wasn’t an option? Confused as of why an establishment wouldn’t want to be supported by locals, nonetheless when a whole staff would like to place an order, very disappointed
Daniel M — Google review
Great neighborhood bar with reasonably priced drinks and good food When they have polkas by the Slivo Express it's really a fun time!
Jean A — Google review
They had a special for two hot dogs and french fries or tots for $6 and a Italian beef sandwich atlnd fries or tater tots for $6. Both were delicious and a great price. Hot dogs were charred just right and the tots were cooked just right as well. Servers were very friendly.

This bar is laid back, clean, spacious, and has great bartenders. Amber is always so accommodating and knows how to make a great cocktail. If you love Bloody Mary’s, she’s the bartender to ask for. They’ve got a great food menu, and it’s the perfect place to enjoy a laid back night. Thanks for the great service!

Found a new Favorite bar near us. Best Blood Mary. And the food is yummy. Brought the rest home and demolished everything. Get the wings and Egg rolls. Very friendly atmosphere. Ted and Ryan are really friendly and take pride in this place

Paddy's is a local bar located at 362 Theodore St. It is known for its regular drink specials and famous Bloody Marys. This family-run business prides itself on treating customers like family. The bar offers homemade pizzas and sliders, with the added bonus of really good corned beef during St. Patrick's Day. Paddy's has a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and patrons, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy drinks or grab a quick bite.
Limited menu. We had the frozen home made pizza. Chicken bacon ranch. It was delicious! We came late and we were the only customers on Sunday night around 10:30 pm. Amber, our bartender, gave us great service and was very personable. Place is very clean!

Great bartender. Came for karaoke and there's this local Ryan that can sing his heart out. Great set of pipes. He's a regular so if you get a chance to hear him, you won't regret it

The bartender should really know what a diet dew is and instead serve a black cola drink….but the corned beef sandwich was good!

That's always, this is my favorite bar in the Joliet area. They home make their pizzas and have sliders available. During St Patrick's Day time they also make really, really good corned beef. The alcohol prices are good and the staff is really nice. Mary is my favorite! And if it means anything to you, it is a woman owned and operated business!

933 Speakeasy is a vintage-style prohibition club located in Joliet, offering a unique and stylish atmosphere. Open on Thursdays from 5 pm to 11 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 pm to 2 am, it's the perfect spot for a fun evening out. Situated above Embers sports bar, this cool speakeasy features live rock acoustic artists on Friday nights. The mixologists are passionate about their craft, serving up seasonal cocktails and traditional beverages.
The AICS Wine Club had a wonderful evening of wine tasting and food pairing at the 933 Speakeasy in Lockport. Nick and Sue of 933 did an outstanding job accommodating all of us. The wines were fabulous and the food was delicious. 933 Speakeasy is top notch and I highly recommend this establishment. It's a really cool place and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Besides wine they also have a full menu of fun and unique cocktails. Love, love, love!

Garden Patch Farms is a delightful destination that offers visitors an authentic farm experience throughout the year. Whether you're picking fresh strawberries in the summer or enjoying festive activities during Christmas at the Farm, there's always something special happening. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are dedicated to making your visit memorable, ensuring you have all the assistance you need.
Went with our 4yo and 15mo grandkids, who had a great time picking out pumpkins and wandering around on a beautiful fall Saturday. And it was not crowded at all. The owners were very nice, and gave them each a free apple. I would definitely go back. Cash only, though.
Jack — Google review
There is no more picking of anything. It's pretty much a fresh produce market. There was a sign for pie and cupcakes, but it wasn't something they had in stock during our visit. They do not do donuts anymore. They also offer some handmade wooden home decor items. They have enough pumpkins to pick from, but this year they didn't do a formal patch to pick from. It's something that *might* be re-explored in the future. But for now, if you want to grab some fresh fruit and veggies, as well as honey without dealing with crowds or lines or a fuss, you can pop in. The owners are very friendly. The picnic tables outside have nice pumpkin arrangements for that quick photo op. So, if you don't have time to do a full fall picking experience and still wanna get some photos with pumpkins that isn't inside a supermarket, this is a good quiet spot to pop into coz there's no crowd at all. Probably a nice 10-15 minute stop, buy some fruits and veggies, take pix with the pumpkins, before you return to your busy day. Or you can turn it into a longer visit if you wanna talk D&D with the owner :) Their google pages/websites need to be updated, but they can't get a hold of the former webmasters, so hopefully this helps.
Jacqueline B — Google review
There’s no way to tell if this place is even open. Their website goes straight to their Facebook page - the number doesn’t even ring just beeps then ends the call Is this place open or not?

We went to fall fest this morning with our two kids and 4 other adults and 4 kids. We all had a blast! The kids loved the hay rack ride, pony rides, petting zoo, bounce house and the pumpkin bowling. The donuts and apple cider were really great too. The girl who greeted us at the entrance let us know it's been a hard season for apples, so mostly everything was in bins which I thought was easier with two small kids! They were extremely helpful, friendly and honest. I can't wait to go back to fall fest again next year!
Quinn N — Google review
I d give this place a zero if I had the option. Owners were rude to my daughter and another young lady who each had different color hair saying “It’s not Halloween yet!” My daughter told him, “Everyday is Halloween!!!” Cash only. Veggies were limited and wooden decorations overpriced. Waste of time. Drive to Kuiper Family Farm. Well worth the drive. Clean pumpkins and apple picking. No parking or entrance fees. Resurrected a disappointing day for our grandson
C S — Google review
We love it here! Strawberries, pumpkins, cherries and so much more...my daughter loves the adventure of picking her fruit fresh from the farm. The other great products like pickles and flavored butters in the market are some of our favorite staples at home! If you get a chance, definitely give Pick a try, I know it will end up one of your favorite places in the area!

SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I have visited the farm on several different occasions, whether it was to pick the fields throughout the changing seasons or during Christmas at the Farm. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, helping out any way they can to make your visit truly special. The fruits and vegetables are fresh, delicious to eat and cook with. The events they have are perfect for people of all ages and families looking for something different to do. Absolutely love everything about the farm, staff and fields with fresh fruits/veggies!

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Joliet, Anthony's Restaurant and Pub is a charming bar and grill that embodies the essence of American dining. With its high ceilings and inviting ambiance, this establishment offers both indoor seating with TV sports for entertainment and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy your meal al fresco. The moment you step inside, you're welcomed by friendly staff who are eager to make your experience memorable.
I got their house special burger with fries and a slice of cheesecake. The bartender saw that I didn't get much fries and got me an extra half or ¼ order for free to make up for it. Really great service. The burger was really good, and the cheesecake was awesome. The cheesecake was a bit pricey ($8) but the rest of the menu is reasonably priced so you won't be breaking the bank by getting it. I'll definitely be coming by again. The only gripe I have is I could taste alcohol in my diet coke. Maybe the glasses aren't cleaned thoroughly enough. Not a huge deal but I don't drink so it was definitely an unpleasant surprise.

Went here for dinner with my parents on a Sunday evening. The staff was friendly and we were able to get seated right away. Our server checked up on us often and made good recommendations for food and drinks. My mom got the Chopped Salad, my Dad got the baked Mostaccioli, and I got the steak sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions of food were decent size especially for the price. For a sandwich or burger expect to spend about $15-$20. Entrees a bit more, $20-$25. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Also there were a lot of TV's around so it was a great place to watch sports. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to others.

Decided to check this place out after leaving a show at The Forge in Joliet. Needed to find a place that was open late for food before heading to my hotel since I was coming from out of town and I found this place. Didn’t expect there to be security and a $10 cover to get in but I payed since I didn’t want to go for fast food. Turns out there was a UFC event they were hosting. Sat at the bar and was attended by Alison. She was friendly and checked if I needed anything quite often. Ordered the pulled pork sliders which were pretty good.

On 8/3/2025 I had dinner with friends and family, upon entering the restaurant we were seated quickly. The service came to the table and asked us what we were drinking, we put in drink orders and 10 minutes later the waitress asked if we wanted any appetizers clearly forgetting our drink orders. We order our meals and asked for certain items off ( mushrooms, onions etc…..) upon the arrival of the dinner the items that we asked to be removed were on our dinners. I don’t understand why service was slow? The establishment didn’t look busy besides the bar area and the patio. For the record the food was good and I am not mad or angry at anything but 2 hours and thirty minutes for a party of 7 for burgers and chicken shouldn’t take that long.
Tony Z — Google review
Pizza was delicious, drinks were good! The wait staff was attentive! But do not order the chicken sandwich! Chicken seemed like it microwaved. But other than that, its good chill spot to take a break!
Juan F — Google review
My first time here. Very nice inside. My food was ready when I arrived. Food is photo perfect. Everything tasted good. Sandwich was tasty. Fries had great flavor. The wings where crisp and delicious. Can’t think of one complaint. Even gave napkin’s and condiments with out having to ask for it. I highly recommend.
Coolrider1919 — Google review
Food was so disappointing. With everything being expensive you'd figure they would try to give out quality food but that was definitely not the case. All of the food lacked flavor. I had boneless wings and they were over cooked and hard. The Philly cheese steak was mediocre at best, and that's supposed to be a signature dish? Idk if the pizza is any good but I'd never come back and try.
Mariela O — Google review
Tonight’s experience was terrible. We had a waitress named Courtney who did not come to our table once in a two hours increment. My girlfriend was there from 6 PM till 1 AM and she only saw the waitress four times with one of the times being with the Check. I watched the waitress make rounds and kept herself away from our section. I approached the situation with the waitress and the only thing she had to say was OK. I believe that as customers we should all be treated the same even though we don’t have the same rapport like other patrons. I guess the bar earn their money and they killed it. Hopefully, this reviewed can give Courtney a teaching moment, so other Patrons don't have to deal with her unprofessionalism.
