We had several people recommend the Green Front, so our expectations were high. They did not disappoint. The food was pretty good. My wife tried the Friday fish fry and it was very tasty. The fish was fresh and juicy, the batter was crispy. And the fries had a great flavor and were very crispy. I asked about the house favorites and was told the sausage is homemade and everyone loves it, but the pizza is the best in town. Being a pizza lover I gave it a try. I don’t know about the best in town, but it was delicious. I got a small Polimeni pizza. It was perfectly cooked, crispy, and the toppings were fantastic. All around it was a very good pizza. I would like to highlight the service. Our waitress was lovely. Her recommendations were a hit, she was friendly and conversational, and she always came around when we needed something despite how busy it was. The atmosphere is a very comfortable. We didn’t feel too crowded and the decor was pleasing to the eye. The price seemed well worth it considering what other restaurants charge for fish fry nearby. The pizza was $20 and there was plenty for two of us and then some. We had a cocktail and were surprised that it was under $7. Being one of the only places open after 9pm is a huge plus for them. We will definitely come again!

Mo, a good friend and regular took us here to eat. Glad he did because everything was incredible. It’s definitely a cool bar/restaurant. I tried the Dusted wings with an All the way Burger both were amazing. Also try the green front downtown golden ale pairs well with wings. Our server Allysa T kept the drinks flowing and was very personable. Plenty of free parking across the street. Bathrooms are clean.

My family has been in a handful of times and we've had a positive experience every visit. The wings are some of the best we've had, comparable to the famous wing places in Buffalo. The servers have also been super friendly with our 2 year old, she's started to ask us to come here.

Pizza was definitely New York style. Thin, foldable and a bit savory. I enjoyed it nice and hot. Fast service. Place is very popular. Gets packed quick. Have had burgers and fries here before as well. Food has not disappointed as of yet. People were very friendly and cool. Liked it.

Outstanding spot for pub food with an excellent selection of beers and really good food. Great wings, really good sandwich options. Definitely recommended if you are in town.

Our 2nd visit to NYK, this time to enjoy a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon in Canandaigua with the Mrs. The burger was dynamite🧨! 🤩 The charcuterie board was a bit disappointing given the price. Service was great, just like our 1st visit. Great dining spot with a great location.

I've done several cooking classes here now. It's pricey but not really when you think about what you would spend at a nice restaurant. The food is fresh and local and such a fun date night. We've gone with friends and just met other couples too. Always had a blast.

Stopped in after another event - and were the first people seated on a Saturday. Food we really liked - had the meatball trio and the fish tacos - both were good. If I had one critique, the meatballs were a little 'crumblier' than I like them - but the taste was nice! We split a chicken bacon white pizza 🍕- and that was wonderful! I also had the cherry bourbon buck beverage - and I could have had a pitcher of that one - I was worried it would be too cherry-forward, but I thought it was balanced nicely. My wife had the hot chocolate and she liked that a lot too.

Went to a pretzel making class at NY Kitchen and had so much fun. Clear and concise instructions on how to make pretzels. Instructor was pleasant and knowledgeable. After class went to the onsite restaurant, Mezzanine and had a very good lunch. A nice way to spend a few hours.

A shout out to Evan and staff. Our daughter recently had her wedding reception at NYK. Evan was instrumental in making sure that all the details were accomplished. Guests enjoyed the salmon, chicken, pasta, and falafel for dinner. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Thanks Evan for making the evening an enjoyable night.

My first time entering there we were greeted by a very friendly hostess and promptly seated. Service was excellent and very attentive. My friends and I felt very cared for here. And that was only the service! The food was spectacular! Each dish had it's own style and was delicious in its own way. My friends and I found ourselves nibbling off of each other's plates! I would 110% recommend to go here and definitely plan on returning soon for other special occasions. Below are the Breakfast Platter, the Breakfast Pizza, the Chefs Choice Quiche, and the Corned beef hash plate.

The atmosphere was delightful, clean and decorations on point. We had some ricotta cheese toast to kick off our dinner along with some cordon bleu chicken and rugby crepe dishes. All our plates were amazing– from portion size, flavor and consistency to pricing. The reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is how rushed the whole interaction with our waitress Ashley felt. Don’t get me wrong, she was fast and attentive to our needs, but it felt as if we were being pushed out the door before we were ready. She brought us takeout boxes while we were still in the middle of our plates, then had a check ready when we wanted to move on with dessert. Not five minutes after our dessert was out she came by with a handheld computer to check us out. It caught me off guard, I was again still working on my dish and taking in how good my strawberry crepe was. She earned her tip, but uncomfortably managed with speed and a strange rush to end our meal. We’ll absolutely be back though. Their crepes were amazing lol.

The Chicken & Waffles Crepe is likely the most pleasant culinary mouth experience I have had. The hot, crispy, juicy, savory chicken... sweet maple bourbon sauce... crispy salty bacon... a beautifully tender crepe... Perfection! I have had it both with and without the bacon cream sauce, and I find it too rich with the sauce. Ashley K helped us out today and made our visit extra wonderful - thank you!

Excellent place to go for breakfast. Great breakfast food options, specialty drinks, and a great atmosphere in a great little town. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, service was excellent. I ordered the make your own omelet and it was cooked to perfection. A friend ordered the banana ans strawberry crepe and that looked amazing. If you are anywhere near this place, I would recommend stopping in and ordering something.

Great food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere. I love Canandaigua and all the shops on Main Street. It is always a joy to stop in and reserve a table (because it’s always a 40 minute wait) and then walk around to the different shops. My wife tried the fall turkey crepe and it was honestly the best thing we’ve had here. It was delicious. We ended up splitting her food because there was so much and we both loved it. The turkey is juicy and delicious, the crepe wraps together this delightful turkey dinner that includes bacon and cranberry cream cheese. It was perfect. Meanwhile I ordered the breakfast crepe, which was honestly a mistake. It was dry and needed maple syrup or something. It just didn’t compare and I regretted getting it. I ordered some toast on the side, which was okay. We also ordered some crepe chips, but most of them were burnt or soggy. The ones that weren’t were delicious and paired perfectly with the cream cheese frosting dip stuff. Honestly I wouldn’t get them again. I will definitely bring my wife back here, but probably not frequently. There are other solid brunch spots in Canandaigua.

Architecture and ambience is absolutely unique and beautiful. Servers are friendly & efficient. Meals were far more unique and gourmet than expected - a really nice experience. We tried the Nutella Crepes with strawberry & banana ... exquisite. Chicken & Waffles Crepes - excellent texture & fabulously unique sauces. Crepes Madame - tantalizing and unexpected flavor combinations! Maple Stackers - classic comfort food with high quality sausage. Only negatives - server did not offer refills on the bottomless coffees, until we asked for them at the very end of the meal. Cream & sugar would be so much nicer if served with a pitcher/pourer instead of all the messy containers and packets. Coffees are delicious! Thanks for the special brunch!

We got the chicken and waffles (crepes) and an omlette. Food was just average (chicken was dry) and not presented very well, serving size pretty small for the price. The server was nice, but it took quite a while for us to get our food (about 30 min). It wasn’t that busy either - lots of empty tables at the time. Maybe people go here for the dessert crepes or something else more popular.

Delicious food and friendly staff. When we arrived we had to wait just a few minutes before we were shown a table outside at the back of the restaurant. It was quiet and peaceful. We inquired with the staff on places to visit and other potential meal choices, since we were visiting the area. The staff where very knowledgeable and full of recommendations. Excellent food. We particularly like the Cordon Bleu for a savory dish and the caramelized banana crêpes for our desert.

We came for an early dinner and were seated quickly at a cute and cozy table. This place is a little off the Main Street so it wasn’t super busy which was a plus. We ordered 2 margaritas, barbacoa tostadas and flautas de pollo. The food was seasoned and cooked well, lots of fresh ingredients and tasted authentic. I was happy to enjoy tostadas because they are not always offered in other restaurants. Service was good.

Stopped here on the way back from the lake for lunch and enjoyed the food! We tried the chicken flautas and chicken tacos. Their non-alcoholic drinks (Salty Dog and Palomina) were also delicious!

Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to in the US, but the service can be slow when they’re busy.

Beer battered tilapia tacos were amazing BUT she upsold me $7 for rice and beans without clear warning which does annoy me so I’ll just leave that here. Food also could have done with some more heat, it was very mild.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. We love the sopes, Chipotle chicken, and tacos sarandeos with salmon and spicy sauce. Excellent guacamole with pumpkin seeds and spicy chile oil. Dishes topped with pickled onions, shredded cabbage, cotija cheese and crema. Highly recommended, have eaten here for years.

Do not go if you have allergies. They do not have dairy or allergens marked on any meals. Their guacamole has cheese in it that is not listed anywhere. They brought us back more cheeses guacamole after telling them of the dairy allergy. They then continued to charge us for it. The chicken is shredded, which is crazy at 24$

My husband and I were in Canandaigua for a work-related trip. We were fortunate enough to get reservations at Bon Ami. The ambiance was absolutely lovely. The soup of the day was clam chowder, and it was one of the best clam chowders I've ever had outside of the New England area. We received welcomed recommendations on the food and wine pairings. The sauces on my husband's lamb and on my duck entrees were just perfect. There were several occasions where the staff checked up on us to ensure that the food and drink was satisfactory. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Loved this place. Food was amazing. The owner,George- was great and very friendly. And the bartender Ryan was very attentive to guests. Loved it.

In a world where everything is homogenized… this little place has held onto its authenticity. The food is delicious and properly portioned. The staff very evidently enjoy each other’s company (and do this on the side) and it shows. And George is a character barré none. I recommend sitting at the bar. I had two nights in Canandaigua and moved my second evening res from Nolan’s to this happy little spot to bring my family out for a guaranteed great evening. (I enjoyed lamb, the bar tenders wine recommendation, and the bread pudding). Cheers!

Highly highly recommend trying this lovely place out, food was too notch - the most perfectly cooked scallops I've ever had! There was a bit of a hiccup as we called to push our reservation but unfortunately it wasn't communicated to other staff so our seats were given away however within 10 minutes we had an even better table than the original! The owners were just fantastic and made the experience one to remember!

The food was fine but really nothing special. I don't remember the last time I saw mandarin oranges in a salad. My husband's steak was kind of tough despite being rare. The one thing we both liked was the French onion soup.

What a fantastic place! The food was exceptional and our server was top notch. The owners are on site to oversee everything and stopped by the table to chat and make sure all their customers were happy. Make sure to order the French onion soup!

Party of 5, appetizers ordered were octopus (a special). It was decent, tender but I've had a better prepared dish. Needed more char though the potatoes underneath were perfect. The entrees were the star of the show: two orders of shrimp with vodka sauce and the chef and waiter were accommodating enough to allow us to add chicken. I've never had a better vodka sauce. Amazing. One of our party had the chicken gorgonzola, loved it. The other two dishes were the salmon risotto and the scallops. Both top of the line. I've eaten all over the world and those dishes were among the best. I would say the bread provided was almost unnecessary. Small and not impressive. But the service, owner, ambience and main dinners were as good as it gets. I'll be returning soon. Update: visited again and was outstanding once more. Bouillabaisse was amazing but I really want to amend my previous critique of the bread: it was wonderful this time. They added garlic, rosemary seasoning which was delightful. So good!

Good service, and delicious munchies to enjoy while drinking. Varied selection of drinks, catering to most tastes. The alcoholic slushies are delicious and refreshing on a hot day! Definitely worth checking out.

We have been to Peacemaker several times in the past few months. They offer a wide variety of beers and the rotation changes often. They also offer local wines and liquor. Friendly atmosphere with lots of live music options. Definitely worth visiting!

Nevermind the fact that every beer we chose and was recommended was top tier, the live music and atmosphere was fantastic. We are here on vacation but I can't wait to come back

We love this bar! We visited Peacemaker during our Finger Lakes vacation. It is a very chill place to try some local beers. Since it was low season when we visited, the bar was not crowded. But thanks to that, we could meet some friendly locals who gave us useful tips for the region. Hopefully we can come back summer time to enjoy the outdoor.

Good beers, good atmosphere.Good ambiance, great seating, good selection of beers and handcrafted cocktails using local spirits. Try the lilac lemonade and the strawberry lemonade. Beers: winter in heart is good as well as the persephone. Soon to be released a grape sour!

If your second home is a third world cantina, or if you're a pirate, bandito, or beach bum, Peacemakers is your home! I was expecting to enjoy a brewery named after my favorite musician, but I couldn't expect an experience as good as Peacemakers offered us. I sampled many of their beers, and they were all delicious, but Buffalo is my favorite, a chocolate and vanilla brown ale. Make sure to stop by when they have entertainment! They have a stage inside for small acoustic acts, and they set up a stage outside in their yard, and make it very welcoming with seating and fire pits. The staff were all so welcoming, we felt like old friends within minutes of being there! We visited every day we were in Canandaigua, and we cannot wait to visit again!

There was only one server on so I felt bad but she only had 2 tables. We were one of them. It took us over an hour to get our food and we were there for almost 2 hours all together. They charge you 2 dollars to substitute fries and then they only give you like 8 fries! I had one little baby slice of avocado on my tacos.. I'll never go back. And my father in-law had lipstick on his beer glass lol

Bartender, she was very friendly. Beer choices were pretty good. Had a large array of drinks to pick from Pickle chips, burgers, were all good and tasty

I asked about if something had egg in it as I have an allergy and the waitress said she didn't know and the cook wouldn't know. Which made no sense to me, is the cook not making the dishes? Then I ordered a salad and she brought me a salad with mayo in it and acted like she was doing me a favor by not adding it to the bill. I didn't even want to order anything else because the food just looked gross. My poor husbands chicken sandwich was inedible but he was too nice to say anything. On top of this the place was dirty, and the service was insanely slow despite it not being busy. Horrible service, and disgusting food! We came here on a night of a concert and wondered why this was the only place not packed. Now we know! Waste of time and money.

Amazing food! Highly recommend the pizza and burgers there! If the bourbon bacon smash burger is on the specials board you have to order it. Sauce is house made. Great people there highly recommend you stop by and try it out!

Nice little pub with great food. The menu was surprising and well executed. I did take out and the bartender took a minute to gossip and loudly swear before getting my food. I wasn't exactly sure what I was in for but it turned out quite good!

We stopped for lunch. It's okay, I would not pick it again. Our food came out quickly. My wife liked the chicken salad wrap. I had the beef on weck. Everything was ok.

Extensive local and regional beer selection and a purple, lavender grape cider. Daily special was yummy buffalo chicken flatbread for 2. Friendly service You order food at the bar. Buzzer when it’s ready. No servers. Reasonable prices. Live music Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays

Neat little place at the top of the lake. Beer is fantastic. What more do you need.

Walked in while only 2 other people were there and told the lady that we had a group of 20. She acted extremely annoyed (my thoughts would be $$!). Food came out pretty fast and was good. Beer was good. The atmosphere was lacking even though it’s right on the water. Also, need to work on securing their umbrellas. One flew out and hit someone in our group leaving a bruise on their shoulder.

At least a dozen beers to try! I had the excellent hefeweisen. Great view of Canandaigua lake.

Loved this place! Dog and kid friendly. Really friendly staff and service. Great space with lots of options: outside on deck or by the creek, inside there’s also an upstairs. We had a lovely stroll in the park and then came here for some refreshment on the deck with two dogs and two kids. It started to rain and they let us all inside! We had the beef on weck, pizza, soft pretzels, and beef sandwich from the regular kitchen, and pulled pork, brisket, corn and coleslaw from the BBQ out back. All of it was so good, and the pulled pork and pizza was especially popular with the kids. We tried all sorts of beers, as they have beer flights, didn’t have one we didn’t like. But we went for round two of the NEIPA and the smoothie gose. They had some NA beer cans in the fridge for those of us who do not imbibe. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend this place enthusiastically.

We enjoy pretty much everything about this place. It's got a fantastic location and the building is great with lots of room and great views. The beer is awesome a great selection all made in house, it's great to see a brewing company stick to something different (ales and porters) vs IPAs. Everything we tried we enjoyed and for those of you who don't enjoy beer the offer cocktails wine and cider. The experience is rounded off with a nice short food menu all and all a great stop there's a reason they keep growing.

We ordered the lobster roll and Santa Fe Tacos. Both were excellent. Service is great. The view of the lake from the outdoor seating area is second to none. My only beef with Sand Bar is that I feel the management should rethink the apparent requirement that the female wait staff wear unbelievably short skirts for work. Just in their course of duty working around us I saw much more than I wanted. My standard is that if I had a daughter working there would I want her wearing those skirts? My answer is that no I wouldn’t. The male staff are not required to bare their undergarments. How is that fair?

The live music was excellent, didn't care for what I ordered, but it wasn't terrible. We had the Mexican corn tacos and they just tried making it too fancy. The pretzel and the jam spreads were wonderful. The view is even more amazing. Looking forward to future visits because it's still a great place. Just wasn't a fan of 1 item we picked for our meal. The live music itself was a great experience, I'd recommend going when the sun is setting so you can watch the sky change colors!

Had the best calamari ever. Food overall was great. The atmosphere is scenic and refreshing. Tiffany (Manager, Sand Bar) was prompt and helpful getting us the best and highest form of service worth our money.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was so good!! Located right on Canandaigua Lake offering beautiful views and made for a delightful dining experience.

I think we must have visited on the busiest night of the year. Service was incredibly slow and after sitting for about 20 minutes we had to ask if a server was ever going to come to our table. Once placing our order we waited a significant time for the food as well. The food was good, but not great. I guess the highlight of the experience was watching the boats come in and out of the marina, which was beautiful. But for such an upscale place, I did expect more.

We were on our honeymoon and ate here for lunch. Beautiful spot on the water. We had the nachos for an app, they were good, for our meals we had the salad with chicken and the double smash burger, both good as well. Two cocktails, strawberry daquiri and a lemonade blueberry. Would def come back!

CUTE YUM CUTE. Stopped in here for the first time this weekend and I was very impressed with the DELICIOUS 10+% abv hazelnut coffee stout (I don't remember the exact name and it's not listed on the website at the moment), and yummy pesto bread. The upstairs room has gorgeous tall windows looking over the lake, the games shelf kept us happily entertained. Can't wait to go back when it's even warmer out and spend some time outdoors at this awesome brewery!

Stopped in for a couple of flights while visiting the area. Beers were good and we took a crowler to go. Nice relaxing atmosphere with great views of the lake. We will certainly be back.

A great stop to make in the Finger lakes. They have an outdoor patio upstairs, as well as downstairs. The interior bar looks fantastic! Many beer choices here. Their Pilsner beer was a delicious choice.

Always a great time at Young Lion. I enjoy how they constantly revive their menu. Staff have always been phenomenal. Like they mix up their bar area. Yesterday we were upstairs with views of the lake.

Been here a few times in the past. Always great beer, today was no different. A nice slow Sunday for a beer tasting. The bartender, didn't catch his name, was a great fellow. Was on the ball with everyone coming in and getting them their beer. Went home with some of their Double IPA. Young Lion is a staple of the craft brewing scene in Canandaigua, and even the Finger Lakes. Cheers!

This place was super busy when we visited! There’s a big bar and scattered tables, but it was so crowded that it was standing room only. A lot of IPAs on tap, but they offer something for everyone. A few snacks are featured, but we didn’t try any. Parking isn’t great unless you can manage to snag something curbside. The atmosphere was nice and the interior design is sleek and modern.

Amazing! I found my new favorite beer- the Pear and Watermelon Sour is amazing, and so is their cider slushie- but the bartenders are the real best part of going there! They had me laughing and made me feel right at home! Thanks guys!

We went for lunch on a Sunday. It was super quiet in the dining room. Felt like you're in a library lol. The TV was off. If it were on it would have helped. Maybe some music? Good food though. I got the Reuben and it was really full of meat and sour kraut. The green bean appetizer was on special. They were ok. Our server was super nice.

Got the fish and chips here and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was more laid back here. Things were getting rowdy with a group but the bartender quickly took care of it. They have a back room with a solid pool table and darts by the bar, as well. Their shirts were awesome, too. I highly recommend this place for food and a game of pool!

This was our first time here. We sat outside on the deck which was mostly shaded. Service was excellent. We received our drinks and food very fast. Nice selection of brews. Don't hesitate to stop here. 😋🍻

We came across this place on our way to CMAC for a concert. We did not have a reservation, but they were kind enough to find us a table. The service was pretty good and the food was delicious...especially the FRICKLES!

Food was very good. Waitress was very friendly and polite and helpful. Had a great time, but the later it got, the louder the crowd got. But that's normal. Going back again.

We were greeted very warmly by the hostess and then by our server in the bar area. We were seated at a high top table, which was comfortable. He was very polite and introduced himself and the bartender to us. Everything was very good and it was a nice, casual spot for dinner.

Good was ok.my fish was way over deep fried. However the manager did make it right with us. Newer cook whooved the heat dial to fast up. All in all it was a pleasant evening. Your typical Irish fun pub.

Our monthly dinner date. Laguna does not take reservations however my friends and I got in roughly 15mins granted it was a sat night. Area was clean and service was timely. Portion size was huge all of us had to get tak home boxes! The only issue I had with my burrito was the steak was tough! My burrito was only 15 so I can't complain !

Some of the flavors were bland. The server seemed agitated or unwilling im not sure. Either way it could have been a better experience. Went back for a second try at a different time of day. The server was marginally better but the food was worse. Ordered something with crab amd was served imitation crab. If the venue had elaborated on that I would have never ordered. The manager was very accommodating for the issue tho and I appreciated that.

I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The food was really worth it, good portion sizes and great prices.

Chips great, fresh. Salsa didn’t have much flavor. The chicken enchilada with salsa verde was amazing, the ground beef ones were lacking in salt. The corn tortillas were good. Rice and beans were such a minimal portion, which is the opposite on any other Mexican or TexMex place I’ve frequented. Beans had a burnt aftertaste. This is only my second visit to this place, so maybe I need to get a different dish. But underwhelming.

Great Mexican food in a cozy atmosphere. The wait staff are there to please. We ordered shredded chicken burrito enchilada. Mine beef, chicken and shrimp Fajitas. Fantastic. Get here soon!

We love to go to Laguna Mexican Restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely, always happy and vibrant. The seating is spacious between customers. The staff is upbeat , professional and lovely. The food is phenomenal! Need I say more? Go there. It will become one of your favorite food haunts!

What an amazing first experience! Fresh made chips and the salsa was not too hot but just had the right amount of spice. Everything I tried was authentic extremely delicious and cooked to perfection will definitely be back again! I wish this place many years of success.

Just happened upon this place while shopping in Canandaigua. Not a huge place but it was clean. They offer outside seating but unfortunately the weather was not cooperating. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the fish sandwich. Both of these were delicious! The food was out in no time and the fish was good size had a thin batter. The pork on the Cuban was slightly smoked, so good! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick yet good meal!

The atmosphere was very inviting and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The reuben sandwich with kimchi was incredible and had a nice kick. The chicken sandwich had a dill pickle batter, which was crunchy, and the sauce was very flavorful. Homemade fries were perfect. We will definitely be back.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! We are not from NY. If you want to be treated like family and eat food prepared with love... YOU FOUND THE RIGHT SPOT! My girlfriend and I started by calling the store and asking about specials. The gentleman, Joey (who happens to be the owner) told us we should try - Chicken Sandwhich (which is MTO and hand breaded on the spot) then told us about the smoked MAc and Cheese. Both 🔥. I mean... amazing... then my girl tried the cuban sandwich and I saw her eyes roll back. So I had to try it too, and yeah... we pretty traded sandwiches lol. The food here is SOoOO good.. My highlight was the mac Salad!! The recipe was passed down from HIS MOTHER!!! What an experience! Update** we punished the cuban so fast it didn't last for pictures...

Great food, great Public House atmosphere. Nice limited menu; apps, salads, sandwiches and burgers. Food was fresh, service was friendly! (I am not knowledgeable about the craft beers and ales, but there was a nice list and some seasonal drinks)

We were seated quickly, and once we ordered, the food came out quickly. Our table had the chicken sandwich, pulled pork flight, and avocado grilled cheese. The chicken sandwich was massive, crispy, and had some heat to it. The pulled pork flight was the favorite of the table. Awesome service 👏.

Great food, atmosphere, and food here! We make a trip or two every Summer to Canandaigua Lake and always stop here for lunch.

Alright, I'm a normal guy who lives in the area and I'm going to give it to you straight. The cider is good, and I appreciate they show up to local events, but they may as well close the venue. My wife and I (Just the 2 of us) spent $45 on an app, and an entree. Listen, that's not bad, but check out the pictures linked to see what we received. I work hard for my money, and that is NOT a $45 value. You would literally receive more food at a festival for that value. That is a Wegman's hamburger bun... which is literally 1/4 mile down the road. Those chips, oil soaked, gross, not crunchy at all. I wasn't rude about it, but I asked an employee if they thought that was a $45 value, and they agreed it wasn't. Then ordering and serving myself, the tablet had the audacity to ask what I wanted to tip. Tip for what? The CMAC business is only going to carry you so far. Do better. We won't be back.

2nd visit there, this time on a concert night and It was slammin'. Parking was great and we got out in no time, food and drinks were fantastic and quick. When we pulled in we thought ugh theyre packed its going be tough to get food and a table... nope. No problem there staff moved lines along nicely and everyone had happy tummys.

I went for a paint and sip party. The decor and atmosphere is excellent! I went early and ordered food. I ordered the Burria burrito had hardly no meat in it was primarily rice, had no flavor whatsoever and it was not hot temperature wise at all the only thing heated was the wrap itself not the rice or what little meat was in it in fact the meat had white fat that you could tell the meat was cold and not heated up. For $17 I could have went somewhere else and had a hot meal and more food it was not very big portion wise either maybe 8 chips on the side of it. The man the pick up counter for the food was rude also. He barked at me to put the buzzer in the basket. The drink I had was a strawberry passion fruit mocktail and it was amazing. The two bartenders were both very nice. I would go back for drinks. The food is a no go for me.

It became busy while I was waiting in line due to only one woman working at the time but she handled it extremely well. The food and cider were also yummy. We’ll be back!

Came for a concert. I will say the service was good and the staff were polite. Paid to park and figured a nice place to pregame. Ordered the chicken fingers and upgraded to the Mac and cheese. Wife had the loaded chips with a Carolina gold chicken upgrade. The Mac was not good at all. The tenders were average but not great for 3 tenders for 15 bucks. Wife could not even eat hers. Chips were so soggy and cold. The chicken was awful. I would not have been impressed even if the food was half the price. Spent 40 dollars and threw most away.

Have been here multiple times with usually no issues. Most recent time (8/30/25) was a slightly below average experience. No parking due to the concert (I understand that, we parked at a different lot and walked over). I had a cider advertised as having no bubbles but the one I was served was very carbonated. It was still delicious, just not what I was expecting. The food used to be great but is no good anymore. Limited menu, overpriced for portion sizes, and it lacks flavor. The mac 'n cheese was extremely dry and the chicken sandwich was not very good. All in all, we usually have an amazing time at Star Cider and the staff is always great. Love their drinks and location. Hopefully they work on the food menu, though.

The cider lineup? Solid choices. Crisp, clean, apple-forward, some with a twist (fruit, maybe some herbs or spices), enough variety to try something different without worrying one will feel like a dud. I went for a flight to sample, so I got a mix—some sweeter, some drier—and each one held its own. I went to Star Cider a couple of hours before a show, expecting to grab a drink and a snack. It turned out to be exactly the right move. Walking into that tasting room, there’s this relaxed, friendly hum... people chatting, glasses clinking, good music floating in the air.

Some of the best heavily fruited sours around! They often change up the current offerings which keep it fresh. Their IPAs are also underrated.

Clean, fine brewery. It was mostly sours and IPAs on the draft list. If you go for sours, be warned that many are of the 'slushie' variety, meaning they will have the mouth feel like you're drinking a very pulpy orange juice.

Great beers, great people, unforgettable memories! We enjoy both sitting on the outdoor patio and indoor at the bar. Fun place to meet friends for a drink or alone. The beer list has a wide variety of options - perfect for a group of picky drinkers. We love Frequentem. Plus they have excellent merch!!

I absolutely loved the beers here! Seating outside with a beautiful view. Friendly staff. Nice food menu. I am so glad we stopped. We checked out three breweries and this would easily be at the top!

We tried almost all of their beers in one go. Amazing diversity, and very rare, top quality from the Pilsner to the IPA sours to the Imperial Stout. Really all enjoyable. The fruit sours were particularly incredible!

Not the biggest fan of sours but wow, did this place have amazing beers. Besides Rotunda in Hershey, PA these are the best I ever had. Had to grab some 4 packs to go. Will be back next time we visit the finger lakes.

The best drinks in town I love the fruited sour drinks they’re all amazing. It is expensive but I usually just buy the cans . Everyone is friendly, always clean and I like how they have it decorated and set up inside and out. Pretzels are also good & they allow dogs outside.

For two people in a dive bar it was quiet expensive. The service was great but the food wasn't the best, though being recommended as a great burger joint in town. We had the pretzels for an app and they were cooked to a crisp and tasted like fried food at a carnival. Though the burgers were huge and mouthwatering to look at, flavor wasn't there and I left feeling unsatisfied.

great service. waitress was amazing. burger was asked to be well done and was given to me charred and not edible. when i asked for a new one they said that it was “well done” how i asked so they couldn’t replace it. well done means cooked not so charred and hard that i can’t even bite into it.

Love this place, love the guys working/owning it. The food is exceptional (the wings are crazy good). The cook knows his stuff. Joe is extremely friendly and personable. Kyle is king bartender. Music is really good. Typical bar games. Introduced so many of our friends to this place. It's a weekly reward for my husband and I after a stressful work week. See ya Saturday.

Been going to this establishment for years. It has changed hands in the past year or so,but all is still good. They just cook food a little bit more than before. Always good food and drinks. A very great atmosphere. Very welcoming and inviting. A very good place to meet new people!

I found the owner of this place to be obnoxious and disgusting. The owner poured 3olive vodka in drink glasses and all over the bar for his friends, himself and the bartender who was already wasted and it wasn’t even 9pm. I recommend staying away from this place.

We went in for their wing night and they were so good! Happy to have found a new wing spot, and you can’t beat the price. The owner was super nice and attentive.

Absolutely an amazing place!!! The staff are amazing!!! Kyle the bartender on karaoke nights is an awesome bartender and all around an awesome guy!! Oh and did I say they have karaoke on Thursdays and Saturdays?! Well I did now. If you ever wanna go see people enjoy themselves and actually enjoy the people around them then this is the place to go!!!

We were looking for a local place to have a drink and grab some food before a concert and Bubbys did not disappoint! Excellent wings with a large list of sauces. The drinks were perfect and so we're the bartenders. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door.

Drinks were good, I enjoyed my evening here. We came on a Saturday for karaoke night and the music was up so loud that I couldn't hear my friends unless they yelled in my ear. Overall enjoyable otherwise. Will go again.

What a great spot to sit, relax and enjoy some REALLY good wines. Jim is a talented winemaker, producing incredible reds and whites as well as curating a great selection of Finger Lakes wines from other producers. Nice selection of craft beer and bourbon, offering something for everyone. A lot of thought and care went into making the tasting room a comfortable and relaxing space, highlighting the best of what makes the area so special.

Upon walking into Jim’s tasting room I first took notice of the detail he put into his space. Accents incorporating all of the things he loves, making wine, racing cars and decades of dedication to where he has built himself to perfect what he is passionate about. Working with Jim there were three fundamentals of his I took note of that have transcended into his tasting experience; education, experience and dedication. The perfect space to experience wine tasting in its true form. Sitting with the wine maker (/ manager of his own personal vineyard on Canandaigua Lake, located in Cheshire), while he walked me through three of his award winning wines, having conversations about life, his technique and the fundamentals behind his wine I can’t recommend his tasting room enough. Truly a space worth visiting, cheers to future success, you are an inspiration and I look forward to visiting again and catching local Jazz bands perform in your space. The only recommendation I have is to book a local band called Barrel Aged, a 4 piece jazz band of extremely talented musicians who play around the Finger Lakes. Thank you for your hospitality!

Very nice wine bar/tasting room. He has a lot of great local selections, as well as his own wines. Our favorite was the AWC Reisling. We'd love to go back and do one of the blind tastings.

Wonderful tasting room / wine bar.. great wines from the owner ( Dry reds and whites) as well a great selections from other finger lakes wineries. Lots of seating choices outside, at the bar, at tables, or on the cozy couch area in the back. Staff is great and if you're lucky Jim the owner, grower, winemaker will give the whole background on his wines.

Such a great spot in downtown Canandaigua! They have their own wines (which were great) and others from the Finger Lakes. The space was beautiful, especially the cozy lounge in the back. We can’t wait to visit again!

We stopped here for a taster and a drink. The bar tender was friendly and their beer was solid, if you are in the area and like craft beer be sure to check them out.

Had a terrific dinner at Square Knot tonight! Chicken sandwiches were amazing and my husband loved his veggie flat bread pizza. Beer was great too! Owners were greeting people and everyone was super pleasant and professional! And Tori our server was top notch! Highly recommend!

Awesome place for craft beers and owners are amazing. My personal favorite beer is the Irish Red. Very smooth and flavorful beer.

Square Knot Brewing is a GREAT place to relax with a flight of beers! Be sure to take a Growler of your favorite home.
