Super crowded place on a Friday evening. There was a one hour wait for food, which the waitstaff politely informed us when we came in. We decided to get a drink at the bar and order some chili for dinner as that was quickly available because the bar servers could fill those orders. Our bartender was great, can't recall his name but he did say it was his last night there so guess that's irrelevant :). Unfortunately, as nice as the atmosphere seemed, the chili that is advertised as 'award winning', was only okay, and the beer was so-so. Sorry, but not a place we'd stop by again.

Stopped on a Saturday early afternoon. There were 2 groups of people in front of us, but tables for us all. There is a happy hour 6 days a week - .50 off all beers. The mushrooms were good, but greasy. We didn't finish all 4 due to that. The food was ok. Since they don't brew here, the food wasn't good enough to come back for. I ordered the tilapia sandwich and it was a bummer. There wasn't much taste to it. I paid 2.00 to upgrade to fries. Service was friendly and prompt.

We wanted to make this a new stop when driving along the river towns but after an hour wait for three sandwiches on a Saturday at 6, with only about half the tables in use, we’re gonna pass. The food, a patty-melt, a Rueben and a Philly were all good. The pastrami and rye were tasty. The hogue roll was soft and tased great. Everyone was friendly but it seems the kitchen staff might’ve had a bad day or maybe shorthanded 🤷🏼‍♂️ I hope you have a better experience if you give them a shot.

Cool old building with a dive bar vibe. The menu is centered around their burgers which are a frozen mass manufactured lifeless patty. Probably a great place to get black out drunk but skip the food. If you have to eat here get the potato skins.

Went to lunch here today with my girlfriend and we were very pleased with everything! Great service (I usually ask for my server's name, but forgot 😏), delicious food (compliments to the Chefs), and a nice atmosphere!! Thank you and keep up the good work! We'll be back! ☺️

Seemed like a long standing local hangout with plenty of options for food & drink on the menu with pen and paper service and the associated wait times of the old technology. It was neat to see the waitresses huddling and comparing order tickets in the corner every 20 minutes and doing the math for the bill. We will be back next time we're in Winona for the Shakespeare festival.

Great little casual place in Winona for fantastic local food and food vibes! Even on a dreary day it was great to sit outside and enjoy the view of the Mississippi River while we ate. Order at the counter (discount for using cash) and grab a seat. Food was brought out piping hot. They do not skimp on fresh veggie toppings on the sandwiches and the fries were excellent 👌 I also enjoyed a basil lemonade

We'll the Panko Walleye was good. The accompanying salad gave me the "runs" the next morning. Sure couldn't be the walleye that is fried at high temperature. Pulled pork sandwich was good. The Boathouse needs to clean up. The available table was still wet and sticky. The floor was sticky. Flies and mosquitos inside. Outside entrance covered in fall leaves.

Had a work meeting here as I was passing through. First time in Winona (not last) and I wanted to go somewhere near the Mississippi and wanted some fish. I had baked Walleye and my colleagues had the fried fish. Absolutely delicious! The walleye was baked to perfection and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were perfect. Diffently a place I will be going again when I come back for other meetings that are scheduled. The bonus is that the view is absolutely amazing.

Ate the tacos and they were very spicy. Apparently siracha aioli means very spicy. I would appreciate something in description about being spicy. The help was friendly and the restaurant had great atmosphere.

We were taking the Eagle Watch Cruise, and the restaurant was just about dockside. Great view of the river. We got to watch a river barge head upstream. The fish (beer battered cod) and chips were pretty good with a generous portion. The fries were good and we ordered the aoli dip with them. The walleye tacos were good too. We are in the sun deck. We stopped here on the way through town. The food was original, a tad unconventional but great. The clam chowder was tasty and chunkier than usual, if you like veggies - you'll love it. The baked cheese curds were to die for. The fish dishes and sandwiches were huge and delectable - especially with the sauce and coleslaw it came with. The back room with the river view was awesome, and definitely made it worth it - even if the lunch was on the spendy side. Service was friendly and helpful, just a tad on the slow side, but it was the busy lunch time. Would definitely recommend and will stop here again!

The owner challenged me having my service dog in her establishment. This sucked. I informed her he was my service animal and as such allowed. I didn't have a vest on him... he doesn't like it. So be aware. Most of the time this place rocks.

I'm really friendly bartender went in on Thursday around sunset all at once bartender was funny busting his ass and very observant of what everybody needed we'll go back. PS the only reason I gave the food a 2 is cuz I haven't tried it yet will update later

I have to say that i am completely flabbergasted l have lived near this bar over seven years and today was the first time I went in with a friend who is a regular there and when my friend ordered her drink the lady bartender told my friend that she needed to walk me out and that she wasn't serving me because I seemed intoxicated. well Mrs Bartender your assumptions were completely wrong. Yes I walk kinda goofy but that is due to multiple medical issues. So if you are a bartender and supposed to read people to keep you and the patron safe all you had to do was look at my face and eyes, I was completely sober. Honestly I very rarely drink as i am diabetic. Well Mrs Lady Bartender people like you is why I seldom leave my house.

This is my favorite place in Winona! As part of the Shakespeare folks that visit in the summer, Thursday Night Karaoke is a sacred part of the week and is usually the only thing to get us through the week. It is truly remarkable the community I have met and made through Cindy and Brian at No Name.

Best bar in town! Only one to consistently have live music. The owners and staff are great people and have done an amazing job creating a fun and welcoming environment. Definitely a safe space to express yourself! Cannot recommend enough!

A very atmospheric, moody bar - the best one in Winona, in my humble opinion. I am by no means a pub crawler, so please do not interpret my opinion for a more seasoned bar attender, but I have enjoyed their consistent kind and welcoming service. While I understand that bars are not the best place to seek out sustenance, I do wish that they had more robust food options beyond candy and chips. Overall, though, I am always happy to pop into this place for a drink or two!

I adore this bar! Best music, great mixed drinks, a large thc beverage selection too. The bands always deliver, and catch a burlesque or puppet show. Patio is always fun and popping. They support local artists and have pinball! What more would you ask for. This is a Winona staple,

Colleen the owner is awesome. the bartender's are really kind and they keep up with you on ur drinks. and if you are a gambler they will serve you and anyone drinks before they serve you e tabs cards.

Nice ambiance and excellent service by the staff to make sure you get what you want to eat. I found a cozy spot next to the fireplace place in below freezing outside and enjoyed my dinner. Btw the location is a bit isolated but let google map take you there.

I ordered walleye with wild rice and came with green beans. A tasty cheesy bread and tarter sauce also were on the plate. I also ordered the wedge salad. All of the food tasted fresh and flavorful. The server was attentive, friendly and answered all of my menu questions without issue. Signatures is definitely worth checking out if you haven't tried them before.

Visited again July 9, 2022. The four cheese ravioli was wonderful. The sauce was simply sublime. The fish tacos were good but a bit bland. It could use some lemon tarragon mayonnaise to bring it to life. The creme boules was exquisite. Somewhat disappointed with the disappearance of the white table clothes. But with food this good, it's easy to overlook minutiae. Went back on July 1, 2018. The setting is as beautiful as ever. The pheasant was not all that great. Hope this is not a trend. April 24, 2021. The food was very good. Nice atmosphere during the pandemic with great wait staff and good protocols during the pandemic. We went back on June 26, 2021. I ordered duck as the main course. It was terrible, I almost sent it back, but did not due to the fact that sending something disrupts the flow of the meal for everyone at the table. The duck was way undercooked, and could flown off the plate. Someone else at the table also got the duck and subsequently got sick. She took about half the duck home and her dog got sick on the stuff as well. We were disappointed with our visit.

Seth was awesome! Made us a delicious peach mojito, spicy blackberry margarita, and several other delicious cocktails! The cheese curds were like tiny pillows. Would definitely recommend!

A great restaurant to go to if you are celebrating a event or just want to go out with your friends. The decor is beautiful and the service is good. Sometimes the food can be not so tasty depending on what you get but most of the time it’s very good! I highly recommend making this place a stop!

Place was really dirty we just picked the least dirty table we could find. The volume for the TV was extremely loud and unpleasant. The drinks were bad, one I was not even willing to drink. They said they don’t serve margaritas even though they have a full bar, very strange. The bbq burger is just a small burger with a squirt of bbq sauce on top, no fixings -that along with an upcharge for a very small amount of french fries makes me feel this whole place is cheap. On the plus side the waitress was very nice and they have free popcorn.

It’s been years since I’ve been to Wellingtons. Our family did some bowling and due to impending rain, we just slipped next door to the attached restaurant, as listed here. Place has been upgraded a bit but looks a little crazy due to Minnesota’s FANTASTIC COVID regulations. But all in all, brought back some great memories. Staff was great, on the ball and very friendly. Kids had great meals and said it was all delicious. With the new menu (again, been about 10 years) I did have to browse and settled on the BBQ Burger, and made it a double (standard is 1/3 lb). It came with potato chips or you could “upgrade” to French fried for $2 or waffle or sweet potato fries for $3. When the plates came out, the portions on the “upgraded fries” were rather disappointing. The children’s fries were almost double the adults “upgraded” fries. So with that, the additions charge seems rather steep for what you get. Otherwise, it was a great night and the food was delicious. It was nice to come back and relive a few fun memories. The kids definitely had fun and enjoyed their dinner.

Excellent food here, unfortunately the service is terribly slow. There are literally two other people in here and we've gotten our drinks and now just ordered our food after being here for 30 minutes. If only the service was better it would be great here. Edit: Also dissatisfied with the food. The chicken sandwich I ordered was a couple of chicken tenders put on a bun, not a crispy chicken breast. Paid $3 extra for tator tots and didn't get nearly as much as we had in the past. Won't be going back.

In town for work, found this place on Google. The service was outstanding! I ordered the cheese curds, they had them at my table in under 5 min, and they were so good! The Wellington burger was great! The cheese was melted and mixed with the mushrooms and omg.. so good! Will definitely visit again or stop by again before leaving town.

It was a very hot day and we needed a place with a patio so our dog could join us. It was 100% the patio that made us choose this place. The staff was great, attentive not just to us, but to our dog. They even brought her a bowl of ice water. :) My husband and I both got burgers and they were delicious. We will stop here again the next time we drive through.

Finding a place to eat on a sunny Sunday afternoon in September wasn't as easy as I thought it should be for a college town. And then I remembered Wellington's. I'd eaten here only once before several years ago. I sat outside, and had a great waitress. She was attentive and super friendly. They were out of a few chicken items, but I was in the mood for a burger anyway. It was delicious. I added fries (instead of chips) and they were just OK. But overall, it was just what I needed.

Great atmosphere and very helpful staff. Awesome selection of beer across all types. Everything satisfied and was very true to form. The blood orange IPA was particularly excellent. Great place to stop and relax and there are snacks and pizza available. A must see in Winona!

Island city is a cool small brewery in Winona MN along the railroad tracks and the river. It is in an old historic building which gives it a nice vibe. They had 14 of their own beers on tap during my stop. Those include a Double IPA, Orange blood IPA, Raspberry Blonde, Hazy IPA, imperial oatmeal stout, salted caramel stout, vanilla dunkel, red, Weiss, light, pale ale, honey basil brown, marzen and a Oatmeal milk stout. Looks like they have a seltzer and a ton of Radlers. Their darks were malty a carmelly which was good. The staff seemed very friendly and they were playing some upbeat music. They brew in the same space so you hear and see everything. This is spot I would come back to and I am going to guess the patio will be great in the summer.

I really enjoyed the open air atmosphere of this bar, so I understand why this is the most popular brewery in town. Food truck outside to satisfy your hunger, and a great list of options to satisfy your thirst inside. They have a nice stage set up for live artists, though no one was performing while I was there. Overall, really enjoyed my experience there and will definitely be going again when I'm back in town!

Island City Brewing Company is a really cool brewery to check out. The brewery is in an old building right near the Mississippi river. Inside the building, there are high ceilings and cool art pieces throughout. The layout of the brewery works out nice, there are several tables and chairs and some comfy couches in a lounge area. The brewery hosts musicians with a small stage. There are tons of board games to play with your friends and family. When it comes to the brews, they were great. I tried the "Winona Ryder" ale, which was delicious. I also tried a raspberry blonde ale called "Mrs. ippi", that was a fantastic drink, it was very light tasting and would be a good summer drink. Overall, Island City Brewery Company was a great place to hang out with a nice atmosphere.

Nice use of the space. I appreciate the exposed brick and beams. Lots of windows provides natural lighting. A perfect place to stop on a drive up the river road. The beer was equally good. Nothing to experimental on the menu, but a decent selection of well-made craft beer. The Docksider IPA was my personal favorite. The service was outstanding and the server knew her stuff when it came to beer. We will be back next time we are passing through!

Okay. I wanted to like this. I had a spicy pepperoni. It was not spicy. I'm not some sort of person who enjoys big time punishment but I might have enjoyed, I dunno, a tingle. The promised spicy sauce .. There was no taste to the sauce. I'm not even sure they remembered to add it except I'm pretty sure you can see it in the picture I'll attach. The most offensive thing, though, was the limp, soggy crust. The center didn't hold up at all. No one likes a limp middle. I appreciate that it wants to be a nice spot, it reminded me of places I've been in the Cities... Except in the cities they execute to go with the ambiance. The server was nice. My son didn't enjoy his lemonade. My non alcoholic cocktail was .. Fine. My son's Street tacos were acceptable.

The meat lovers made me sick. the sausage was not good and tasted rancid. :-(. The reason for the higher score was the chocolate icebox cake. It was outstanding but I didn’t come here for the desert. The bar was cluttered and not clean either even though it was not busy.

Even when it's packed it's a good place to be. The food is always delicious they have weekly specials so there's always something new. And they have a curated cocktail menu that changes every month over and above their regular drinks menu. Staff is friendly and accommodating as is the kitchen. They also make an effort to do anything you need gluten free and they always have a vegetarian option which some place is in town don't do or seem to care about. I always go back!

Muddled Thyme never disappoints! I recently stopped by after work with a few friends, and as always, the experience was fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy but vibrant, perfect for relaxing and catching up over drinks. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable, and the cocktails are top-notch. Each drink is creative and carefully crafted, with the right balance of flavors. I tried a few different ones this time around, and each was just as delicious as the last visit. We shared a few appetizers, and everything was fresh and packed with flavor. The truffle fries are a must-try – they never fail to impress! The small plates are perfect for sharing, and there's always something new and exciting to try. Muddled Thyme is the kind of place you can always count on for a great time, whether it's after work or for a special night out. It’s definitely one of my go-to spots in Winona, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Wow! This place was amazing! Loved the atmosphere, and the food and drinks were awesome! Would HIGHLY recommend the focaccia appetizer and the Winona old fashioned! We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in the area.

Had the opportunity to try Muddled Thyme Brick Oven Pizza and Cocktails last weekend. It was slow on a late Saturday afternoon. The young lady bartender was terrific, the best service I've had in a long time. And the cocktails she made were first rate, I'd return for a night of drinking only! The pizza was promising, however too much cheese and the crust was just lost under all that dairy. I was able to make my suggestion to the owner for improving the pizza by reducing the amount of cheese and she was receptive and thanked me for my honest feedback...KUDOS for listening and being available. I'll be back!

So happy we had dinner here, just a random pick. We would go back for sure. Tried a lavender cosmos, real good. Our waitress was very nice, and suggested various options. The app special was a korean bbq rib (6 ribs) We tried 2 types of the brick fired pizzas, you really cant go wrong, excellent combos. All yummy!!

Came on a Sunday during the Vikings game. Didn't have chairs for our table but that really didn't matter. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Beer was cold, people were polite and the bartender was spot on. May be a small joint but still a good atmosphere.

I dont base my reviews on one visit but I most say this time there was a huge difference mainly the bouncer. He was much more polite than the last one. Definitely another winona bar but to me that is not in a bad way.

The bar was not good. I spent a total of $15 on just music and they did not play any of my songs. In fact they skipped my songs and I had to go approach them for a refund. The songs I chose were popular bar songs by the way. A poorly run business in my opinion that doesn't put the customer first. Wouldn't recommend this bar.

They aren't particularly strict about mask policy. At all. It gets really busy on the weekends so that's a bit bothersome. You can play pool and darts but social distancing is absolutely impossible. Nobody even makes an attempt to wear a mask.

This place is good for how small it is; cute dive bar quality. Food is more high quality though; that said, you have to wait more than 45 minutes for food, even if order wings. Small place, little staff (though cute and friendly), small kitchen so everything runs very slow (even service when it’s busy) but it’s been worth the wait each time I’ve been. Mac and cheeses are very popular and their salmon sandwich was amazing. Wings (bone in) are a must with a dry rub and sauce on the side - trust me.

We have been coming to 2 Brothers since they opened because their smash burgers are so good! Last night I decided to try something new the Smash Mac, it was really good and would have this again. Cheese curds, pulled pork sandwich and chicken bacon ranch wrap were also had by our friends, we finished all of it! Service was exceptional!

Best sports bar in town, and it's not even close. The food and drinks are top-notch, yet affordable. Very mellow atmosphere, even at the bar. TVs everywhere you look, and they'll always turn on the game you came to see. Sit in the penalty box, and you can watch 4 games at once! I'm there almost every Tuesday for tacos, and you should be too.

Don’t waste your time or money here! Our first time visiting Winona. After a 3 and a half hour drive our 5 and 3 year old were pretty hungry. The first place we stopped at only served seafood so we walked down the street to this place after seeing fairly decent google reviews. I’m really not sure why. We got there and there’s a sign that says 30 minutes to an hour wait for food on weekends. So since we had two little kids we asked how long the wait would be. We were told 40 minutes max. So we decided to stay. First off the place is dirty crap all over the floor. As a former bartender and server myself I really understand what it’s like to be busy. But our server had zero motivation. Never asked if we wanted drinks refilled, never gave us any heads up on how much longer it would be nothing. When our food finally came an hour and a half later which we only ordered side salads and two kids chicken strips and fries since they ran out of everything else we were going to order. It was less than decent. I have never been to a bar and grill that doesn’t make their own ranch. The stuff they have was yucky to say the least. I don’t know if they don’t have a big enough kitchen or they just don’t prep their food. But no way should it take that long for side salads and some fried food. Shouldn’t run outta everything either. Maybe plan ahead. Think hey it’s football season the Vikings are on maybe we should order a little more than normal! Overall bad. Plus they charge $8 for a side salad! Are you kidding me!

Overall, my experience was good but it was mostly because the service was great. My waiter was patient and kind and thoughtful and gave good recommendations. The food was mediocre overall, the best was the burger. The Nashville Hot boneless wings did not taste very Nashville and were barely spicy, if at all. The amount of actual meat was quite low; the wings were mostly fried batter. The burger I had was quite good. I customized one with pepper Jack cheese and jalapeños and onions and it was tasty. My primary complaint was that the bread was so soft that at first, I couldn't even tell there was a bottom half beneath true burger patties. It was also a tad too salty but overall, good flavor. I got the jojos as a side, as a recommendation from the server, and they were oddly good as she said. Softer potato chips. But way too much salt. Overall, I wouldn't go back with gusto unless I only wanted the burger.

They have this place separated with a bar side which has pool tables to enjoy with friends and the restaurant side so you have options on the vibe you want. They also host DJ events but I haven’t attended. For the food the smash burgers are fantastic it’s definitely their trademark as well as the jojos. Staff is always really friendly just watch out during school season because it can get full quick with college students but in the winter the locals rule 😉😆.

FANTASTIC old school bar/restaurant with awesome menu! A must while in Winona - great history too

Had fun with our group teaching and ultimately experimenting making alcoholic root beer floats with the bartender. She was very nice sport about it. We came up with a delicious new combo. Spent many weekend afternoons with my dad with the original Poots. Brought back wonderful memories.

The owner Kevin Fischer is not nice he bad mouths other bar owners in town. Which one of the bars he was bad mouthing my father owns. He did this while I was in the bar shooting darts for his bar and spending money he makes me wonder what he says about his other patrons who spend money in his establishment if you ask me this is just bad business. I will be spending my money some place else where they value and appreciate your business😤 If Matt Pelowski still was alive and owned this place this never would have happened he appreciated his people

Pros: amazing handmade Pootzas, two dart boards, lively East side crowd. Cons: tiny (20 people will pack the place) and not much of a spirits selection. Definitely worth checking out.

This used to be an amazing place for nachos, wings and drinks with your friends while in Winona 😋. The remodel looks good but lacks the original restaurants energy. I'd have to so this is an ok spot to grab one drink. But not a place to enjoy the evening. On a positive not if you're under 21 this bartender DOES NOT CHECK ID'S so come get drunk and enjoy your college years..

I've visited Zaza's multiple times and have had nothing but great experiences! The servers are always kind and helpful, and the pizza and cheese bread are fantastic. Great place for a meal out or a fun atmosphere on game days.

If I could give it a negative star I would. Ordered nachos and a Diet Pepsi, friend ordered wings, fries and Mountain Dew. We got our drinks, my nachos came and I asked for salsa-was on menu, they were out of salsa, didn’t tell me when ordering, who wants nachos without salsa? declined to eat it, looked like a dry salad with chips, no pico on it either, but a small packet of sour cream. Then our drinks were done(2.95) for a glass of soda?? Never asked if we wanted a refill, wings came, no fries, no napkins in sight, had to go to table behind us to get napkins. Asked about fries and bartender said, we could add them??? Worst dinner experience. Won’t go back.

I ordered 2 large pizzas for pickup. It was the worst pizza I've ever had. Definitely not worth the 47.00 I paid! One of the pizzas had a burnt crust, the sauce wasn't good. First and last time ever ordering from here. Definitely low quality for the price.

We got our drinks, my nachos came and I asked for salsa-was on menu, they had it and it was amazing. Who doesnt love nachos with salsa? At it all, it looked like loaded nachos with pico including sour cream. Then our drinks were done (2.95) for a glass of soda? Deal! Every restaurant charges that now. Tons of free refills, wings came, and was offered fries, napkins on every tabel. Best dinner experience. Will go back. Needs celery though!

Zazas is my favorite place to come in for Wing Wednesday!! We come in every week with a group of friends and always have a good time. Emma is my favorite server except doesn’t always come in on Wednesday’s:( Also, Sammy makes the best Coors light pitchers in the Midwest no cap!!

Got charge for stuff I didn’t buy then was told by staff I would get my money back and still didn’t receive it and no receipt for my order on my card even though I paid cash ….. just not a great customer service and the bartender are young and inexperienced which lead to this whole ordeal

Always a good spot to drop in for a drink. If you're waiting on Sammy's pizza or just starting off your evening journey around (inevitably ending at some dive bar here in town) it's always a great place. Good customers, good staff, good drinks.

Port 507 before 9/9:30 pm is VERY different than after 10pm. Before 9, this place is usually great to get a few drinks and play pool/darts. After 10, good luck getting any space to breathe. Bartenders and staff are wonderful, it's moreso the (late-night) crowd that drops the rating.

Solid downtown bar with a good mix of locals and college students for patrons. It took me a good 10 minutes standing at the bar to get a drink on a recent Friday night when one of the 3 bartenders was chatting with a friend and the others were busy. Drinks are average price for Winona.

Horrible haircut. Boyfriend said " a little trim" and the girl went on to do what she wanted with his hair and said, "this will look better." Hair is uneven. Not faded together. it goes from long to short, no blend. looks like an amish cut. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Great overall! My haircut history didn’t transfer over, but Jimmy was great!! He’s talented and likes to get to know ya! They also were having computer and management issues, but we’re more than accommodating. I think this location was one of the better ones of the franchise.

He not only listened to what I wanted for color, he brought out swatches to show me- unlike another stylist in the shop that just kept saying “You’ll love it” over and over! I am one to let my hair grow too long and then get it cut too short so I can wait 4 months to go back and get it cut again my stylist did a perfect job look forward to having another conversation with her again it was very pleasant

We were there on 7/19/25, a Saturday night, with a bachelorette party. The bar was pretty full with people around 40 to 60 years old. They had karaoke going on at the time. It seemed like everyone had a good time. We did also.

Awesome service and atmosphere

On April 16th I went to Mankato bar for the first time for a karaoke show they had there that night. The people there or so welcoming to someone they hadn't seen before and made me feel right at home. Even the owner Julie came over and welcomed me. I have never had that kind of experience going in to a small bar in a small town. I want to add got the karaoke was fantastic and there were more great singers there then any karaoke show I have been to since living in Wisconsin. Mankato bar it's a fantastic place to do karaoke and have fun with cool people. Looking forward to the next karaoke show they have there so I can go again.

We stopped in a couple months ago, very unfriendly unless you are a local. The gal bartender was very crabby looking and made zero effort to wait on our table....we left after one beer and won't be back. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to the Witoka Tavern, very friendly bar and great food, not to mention very clean!

Last night 🌙 ✨️ I went there and the bar tender woman was very rude to me and refused to serve me and she said that she wasn't comfortable in serving me. That was that then. I told a couple of friends that oh well there's more bars around. I waited for a reply from her and she ignored 🙁 me. I didn't make a scene.

Drinks are reasonable. Specials make them downright cheap. Wed night has free juke box, darts and pool. Sound system is good, bass thumps appropriately.

Very busy weekend college bar! Weekdays are slow and consists mainly of town folk. Prices are low = (3 dollar rum coke). Does not serve food. Sultry bartenders. Does have kinda crappy pool tables and an okay dart area.

Oh Gabby's, the greasiest bar in town that welcomes underage minors with open arms and attracts people who are the type to get blackout drink every weekend. The college kids in town who think this place is hip and happening have no outside experience and assume this is what college nightlife is all about. Every time I go here I feel as if someone is going to pull a knife on me or something. This place is straight up dangerous and packed full of depressed alcoholics every weekend.

I wish I could put 0 stars for places like this. The most rude and disrespectful staff of any establishment I've ever been to. No such thing as customer service here. There was a small group smoking weed inside and the bouncers did nothing about it. The only pro is that it has both pong and pool. If I were the owners I would reconsider the personalities of my staff.

Bar has gone downhill I seriously don't recommend it, I used to love it but it's gotten quite horrid, Ive been there a lot but the servers and denizens seemed hostile and nervous for he most part lately. It was odd. there are a lot of bars I do recommend in Winona though, beautiful town great music scene. I'd also like to say all high ratings for this establishment were done by an SEO expert, social media employee or the like, and don't reflect the actual atmosphere or service.

Denied my real id and said it was fake?? I am of legal age and wouldnt let me in with my friends despite providing secondary proof of ID. Their bouncer Evan (green Northstar shirt) doesn't know what a real Id's look like despite my efforts to prove I'm over age he ignored me.

It was pretty empty when I went. The atmosphere is weird. I just felt like someone was watching me. The drinks were fine but the atmosphere had weird energy.

Usually a great place with good service, but waiting 25 minutes with my hand out to get a drink is absurd. Watched the same 3 people get served & made direct eye contact with the server on our side multiple times as well as a gentleman next to me, & was waiting the entire time with 0 attention. We both waited politely, weren’t being rude nor disrespectful. We & other people decided to go elsewhere, giving them the benefit of the doubt went out the window after 15 mins.

Really enjoyed this friendly local bar. Good crowd even on a weekday. Good specials! Real nice bartenders. Highly recommended. If you go on Monday night at 8 PM, buy a Mug for $6 and get $1 beers and $2 rail drinks! That's hard to beat.

Recently moved from Winona, and realized how much I miss this bar. The atmosphere can be a bit different, but the beer selection and prices cant be beat. The vinyl music is amazing and Brice (if he still works there) was an awesome bartender. When we come back to Winona, this is a must stop.

Music was good. Nice atmosphere. Bad service. Bartender got first drink order wrong. Ordered two more drinks, only got one, was charged for two, bartender just ignored me when told. Left after that. Pretty sure he was drunk/high. Pretty sad when you recieve better service from young bartenders at busier college bars than from someone that's older at a slower, laid back bar.

The last bar stop in downtown before the East End bars, Broken World records has decent drinks at good prices and usually live music of a random caliber on the weekends and some weekdays. The pool table is high quality and free to play and you might even be able to shoot a game if you're skilled in the art of negotiation with the regulars. The clientele is varied between the punk rockers, hipsters, local music buffs, and average Winonans who wants to hide out for a while and listen to live music.

I didn’t get a chance to try the food at Lucky’s 13 in Winona, Minnesota, but the drinks were great—well-made and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was exactly my kind of vibe: laid-back, welcoming, and just the right amount of energy. It’s the kind of spot where you can hang out for hours. They’ve got pool and darts, which are always my go-to activities when I’m out. Definitely a place I’d come back to. Great spot for a casual night out in Winona—worth a visit if you’re in the area.

The bartenders are lovely and there's plenty of great games from darts to board games. It's honestly one of the best places to go just on a regular night like Monday or Tuesday. Popcorn is free too and sometimes there's a dog.

The lady that did my hair took her time. I however, personally left unhappy. There was hair dye on my skin on my face and around my hair line that shouldn’t have been there in my opinion. The color was too dark in my opinion although everyone else loves it. Now that it’s starting to get lighter in color I’m liking it now. I did something and paid a good amount of money to try to have my hair looking good for my birthday but, I wasn’t satisfied with my hair or the fact that I left the shop with hair dye on my skin. I don’t think I’ll be returning unfortunately.

Wish I remember the name of my stylist but she was so nice and easy going. She truly did a great job on my hair too, I just got a trim and some layers and she shaped it up a little but I can tell she's skilled :) she is going to hinterland music festival - sorry I can't remember your name but you rocked!

Newly reopened and a little short on staffing so the wait time for food was longer than average but friendly service and the delicious food more than made up for it!

We went for our first time. It was very quiet, only a few customers. The food was very good. We plan on going back again and again. Next time I am getting the one pound burger.

A friend and I went for the Tuesday night special and it was great! Large portions for a small price and the food is very good. Great service as well! It is a place where many of the locals seem to hang out, but we felt very welcomed!

Dont come hungry or thirsty! We came on a friday night there was no menu, just a buffet. We came at about 7:00 and there was hardly anything left for food, when they finally brought some meat it was barely warm. Then we also had to complain about the beer being warm but they didnt do anything about it. We want to support the restaurant but they are making it very hard.

We were here on April 1st 2016. The food tasted like they cleaned out there fridge and warmed up a few leftovers. Chicken was only legs . Both chicken and ham were dry. The fish tasted like the fish you get out of boxes from the frozen food aisle of the grocery store and put under some warming lights to thaw. They were out of the ribs were gone when we got there, but based on everything else we weren't missing anything. When the waitress came and asked if we were ready for our check she had a broom in one hand and a dust pan full dirt she had just picked up off the floor in the other. It seemed like a place the locals came to hang out at the bar after work and if you weren't a regular in there you just didn't fit in. I guess it was April Fools Day and the joke was on us. I wouldn't recommend and won't go back.
