Irish pub
The Dublin House is a beloved Irish pub housed in a historic Victorian-style building dating back to the 1840s. It offers an authentic menu featuring Irish-style eats and a variety of beers on tap. The pub is known for its lively atmosphere, with weekly live music and soccer matches on TV. Additionally, it boasts a seasonal outdoor bar for patrons to enjoy.
A great spot for a weekend gathering! The drinks and food were excellent, with generous portions—just one appetizer was almost enough to fill us up.

So I was out antiquing, and this place stood out to me, so I wanted to try it. It's an Irish pub or restaurant. It is small, parking on the street. But it was a Sunday so it's free parking. I loved the way it looked from the outside. Kinda like an old house. It's seemed small on the inside, but they had a dining area on the left and bar area on the right. There was an upstairs, but it was roped off. The server we had was nice. Not all the servers were nice, but luckily, ours was. The food was overall ok. I didn't care too much for my burger. I believe it was the Irish Burger, but the cheese sticks and the pot pie were pretty good. The mashed potatoes got 2 thumbs up from my friend as well. My potato leek soup was also very tasty. First time trying that one! If you're in Red Bank, check it out.

I read a review saying the fish and chips had tiny fillets, so I ordered it for my 2 year old. LOL they were huge, and we took the leftovers home. My husband and I ordered the Irish Surf & Turf, and my toddler loved dipping his fries in the au jus 😋 We ate well, and our server checked in on us at least 3 times before it was time for the check. Flavors were solid, portions were plentiful, and I appreciated being seated in the window alcove with a toddler so we felt like he wasn't disrupting the main dining room. This was dinner after a show, so seated at around 6:20 pm.

WORST lobster mac and cheese, EVER. No way the lobster isn’t imitation (which is crazy for the price you pay) and the cheese is like they used white American to make it. My stomach is churning after two bites. I’m so disappointed I wasted my money on it. You’re so much better off going somewhere else for lobster Mac, like the Rum Runner. I definitely won’t be ordering from here again.
M S — Google review
Went on a Monday night to hear a favorite local band play. Bartender was super friendly, food was typical pub grub, Lobster bisque was amazing 😋
Olivia “ — Google review
I like the place and the atmosphere. My family is Irish so I appreciate the Irish origin. Burger was a 2 out of 6. Everything could have been improved. There wasn't even a single vegetable on it, and definitely a frozen patty.
Ina B — Google review
I tried it once as a delivery option to try something different and I can honestly say that it was the best burger I had and the bun that they use for the burger unbelievable and it came with a side of fries that were amazing I have had fries from others and so far they are a 10 out of a 10 on this burger plate so know when I'm in the area every other weekend I will order dinner from there and my daughter who's a picky teenager in haled the burger plate so even I definitely recommend this place not sure about the atmosphere and the service since it's placed three door dash when I order so if the food is a 5 then I will assume that the service and atmosphere would be a 5 so I gave a 5 star all across the board
Tina C — Google review
Great service and good food. Loved the inside - cozy and warm. Well worth visiting. I think the steak was just a little chewy and I wanted it medium but it was more like medium well. The Fish and Chips, though, was outstanding. Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. That was probably one of the best I've had. 👌 I had a little taste of the Irish bacon and sausage and it wasn't to my liking. I'm just used to American bacon 🥓 and sausages . Overall, I give it 4 🌟.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Red Bank, TEAK Restaurant & Bar is a vibrant destination that perfectly blends sleek decor with an energetic nightlife. Known for its creative Asian fusion cuisine, this establishment has garnered a loyal following over more than ten years. The menu boasts an impressive array of dishes, including standout sushi options like the Spider-Man Signature Roll.
The food at that place was amazing, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. It wasn’t too busy, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Our server was excellent—very attentive, kind, and made us feel at home. The dessert menu really stood out, especially their creative take on the banana split, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’d happily recommend TEAK to anyone looking for great food, service, and a memorable night out.

We went there for our anniversary. It is always excited to try new places. When I made reservation online, it asked me if I have special occasion.I thought somebody will mention something, either hostess or waiter. But nobody did. So what’s the whole point to ask? The drinks and appetizers was great, but the food itself was a little disappointed. My husband got short ribs with very lack in flavor. And I got Seafood Ramen noodles that was very acidic. I will definitely come back for a drink and appetizer, but not for the full course.

This place is a must.. The atmosphere is so fantastic. Service was impeccable. Never waited for anything from drinks to food to the check. Our waiter Michael was very friendly and attentive. Great recommendations. The food was delicious. Everything is made with great flavor and presentation is on point. Can’t wait to go back..

The food here was delicious and the service was extremely prompt despite the restaurant being packed. We got a bunch of things to share and everything was great. Really loved the crab Rangoon and crispy pear salad. It was also very cute and spacious and clean inside!

The service was great didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. We had several sushi rolls and calamari appetizer. Food was a 8/10. Atmosphere is sleek, nice vibe for a night out with your partner. Enjoy

Had a special birthday dinner for my husband at Teak. What a great time we all had. The small group menu was fantastic. My guests raved about how delicious and plentiful everything was. The dessert with sparklers was outstanding. Kudos to Meghan for her excellent coordination and hosting, and Mikey, who's an extraordinary server. The cocktail and wine menu superb!! Don't hesitate to go there for events! Highly recommend!!!!

Our server was excellent! She had a great knowledge of gluten free options and substitutions, delicious rolls and the pumpkin espresso was very good and not too sweet

I had a fantastic experience at Teak. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server, Emily, made the evening truly special. She was attentive without being overbearing, knew the menu inside and out, and gave great recommendations Emily checked on us at just the right times and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. It’s rare to find such friendly and professional service these days, and she made our dinner feel personal and memorable. Between the great food, cozy ambiance, and Emily’s outstanding service, we’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Red Bank, NJ, Pazzo MMX is an upscale Italian restaurant and bar that brings a delightful twist to rustic Italian cuisine. With a menu crafted from both local and imported ingredients, this eatery offers an array of delectable options including thin-crust coal-fired pizzas and classic pasta dishes. The vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by their open-air kitchen, allowing diners to witness the culinary magic firsthand.
If you want good Italian food, look no further, Pazzo, is your place. Easily accessible in Red Bank, NJ, I stopped here for lunch after doing some shopping in the area. Along with the cool atmosphere and decor, I had Tim serve me an espresso martini at the bar. He was as nice as could be. But, of course the best thing about Pazzo, is the food. Saying it was delicious is an understatement. From the warm bread served from a local bakery to the Melananze Alla Napoleone, everything was delicious! I can't wait to come back for dinner.
Debbie M — Google review
I had to quickly grab a drink before a show at count Basie with my sister and I have to say, my time was made due to the service at the bar with Tim. He was sweet, polite and funny! He also made the BEST espresso martinis (no baileys!) wished us a fun time at our show!

**5 Stars - Outstanding Experience at the Bar** Had an incredible evening sitting at the bar at Pazzo. The service was absolutely superior - the bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience memorable. The veal parmesan was off the hook! Perfectly breaded, tender, and the sauce was exceptional. You can tell they take pride in their Italian classics here. But the real showstopper was the butter cake for dessert - honestly one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The bar seating gives you a great view of the restaurant and the staff really knows how to take care of their guests. Will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend Pazzo for anyone looking for authentic Italian food with top-notch service in Red Bank.

Had dinner on the covered patio. It was like almost sitting outside, for a cool evening having the covered area made it comfortable. The ambience is very nice. All 3 of us enjoyed our meal. I wasn’t very hungry so had the buratta with prosciutto, pears strawberries and honey. It was very delicious. My friend rather enjoyed her penne vodka. The bread is excellent and accompanied the food nicely. Our server, Brian was polite and professional. We will definitely be back.

RED BANK: If you are craving delicious Italian food with dog friendly outdoor dining in a vibrant downtown setting, make your way to Pazzo Red Bank! With a massive menu featuring fresh salads, hearty meat and seafood entrées, pizza, pasta, and more, plus a full bar with an extensive wine list, draft and bottled beer, and crafted cocktails, you will find something for everyone. There are a few outdoor tables along West Front Street where pups are welcome, but be sure to check in at the main entrance around the corner. We visited on a Monday night and took full advantage of their amazing special: half off all pizza and pasta! The spicy rigatoni and meatball pizza were standouts, and the chilled Moscato hit the spot on a warm summer night. Do not skip the complimentary bread, it is perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside! Shoutout to Brian and John for their friendly and attentive service, we felt well taken care

I visited this place a few nights ago with my partner and his family for dinner, I ordered the skirt steak on their menu served rare. Everything tasted fine and we went home after, then the next morning I woke up with food poisoning. I know the bacteria came from the steak as no one else got sick after except for me. While I understand food poisoning can come from any restaurant, I expect better for $40. Genuinely this was a nice place, and I don’t like to leave bad reviews, however I left it was necessary for public safety.
Sheridan D — Google review
Absolutely delicious!! I haven't been there in a while... So happy I returned! Pazzo is a beautiful, family-owned restaurant. They have a great menu. But last night, their specials were too tempting to pass up. MMX pie (yum!) Halibut and Shrimp Scampi entrées (both so fresh & delicious!) And the peanut butter cheesecake (OMG!) Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff was friendly & attentive, making us feel at home. A true neighborhood gem!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area. Perfect for all special occasions. Always great food, I had linguine with white clam sauce that was fantastic and great drinks from the bar!

Italian restaurant
Birravino is a delightful fusion of brewery and trattoria, nestled in the suburbs, where rustic Italian flavors meet house-brewed beers. The charming Victor Rallo, Jr., who grew up immersed in his father's restaurant culture, crafts homemade pasta and dishes that celebrate authentic Italian cuisine. Guests can savor rich Bolognese or zesty Scarpariello while enjoying refreshing local brews on tap.
Food & taste: Food Items I ordered was very tasty & delicious Ambience: very cozy & warm Service: It was quick & server was very attentive. Rating for my order: Ravioli: (4/5) 1 star less just because of portion size, it was only 6 pieces Eggplant (5/5) one of the best eggplant I ever had Spicy Rigatoni: (5/5) , well cooked & sauce was tasty I been there twice for dinner although it’s 50 min drive from my place. So you can imagine how good the food was
Riddhi P — Google review
Great vibes in this rustic Italian joint! Portions were a bit smaller than what I was expecting from an Italian place, but the quality of the food was incredible! Waitress was rather rude, tried to rush us out, and made off putting remarks to my friend who wanted a salad as her main. However, I think this was a fluke as all other members of the staff were wonderful (bar staff, hostess, etc.).
Alexander F — Google review
After a great day at the beach, Gemini recommended this top tier trattoria based on our affinity for red sauce joints. Despite not having a reservation, the host team worked us in and offered us the table for 90 minutes. We got off to a strong start with cocktails and shared the octopus and mozzarella appetizers. We all had a desire for seafood so two of us got the branzino and the third the salmon. Our plates were cleaned. Everything was delicious. Our meal was accompanied by a wonderful bottle of Sardinian vermentino. The attentive service by a multi-person team did not feel rushed at all. We consumed every minute of the 90 we were offered and then some. This restaurant offers a number of open spaces with high ceilings, a kitchen where you can see the talent A generous bar area is available as well. While we didn't have classic red sauce joint fair it was on offer.. We could tell this restaurant was full of regulars. You could tell this was a neighborhood gem. In fact, we made note of how returning customers were greeted by the staff. Lucky are those that live near such a beautiful well-managed place. Easy to find with plenty of parking.
Ray B — Google review
A really amazing place with some really special vibes, homemade pasta is really the way to my heart, and the spicy rigatoni is no exception! They have some crazy apps, including some homemade meatballs, and I would be remiss if I did not mention the amazing dirty martinis with hazelnut stuffed olives! Complementary bread is always fire also
Ivy C — Google review
This Italian restaurant blew me away, the food was insane. I had the chicken parm, calamari, seafood risotto, and tiramisu and it was all more than delicious. My Aperol spritz was also amazing. But mostly the hospitality and service made me feel the need to leave a review. My waiter David was fantastic and the manager (I believe his name way Jose or nguyen) went out of his way to make sure me and my friend had a great experience. I will be back as soon as I can!
Crystal — Google review
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Birravino. Our guests had a gluten allergy and were told they make gluten free pasta fresh daily. Marie took great care of us and accommodated our allergies. The food was spectacular and I dare admit as an Italian that the meatballs were better than my grandmothers! The GF pasta tasted no different than the other pastas, it just tasted al dente which is how we like our pasta. The place was busy but it didn’t feel overwhelming. We will be back!!
Trez M — Google review
Whenever I have guests visiting from out of state, I always make it a point to take them to Birravino as my way of sharing the pride of the Jersey Shore’s Italian dining scene. This restaurant never fails to impress. Most recently, I brought a friend from Manhattan, and when he ordered the Risotto Frutta di Mare, he couldn’t stop eating it and practically cleaned up his bowl. His reaction said it all - as shown in this photo!
Allan M — Google review
The feel at this place is great. They make their own pasta whis is a plus. My wife ordered the branzinno and it was somewhat dry. We ate at the bar and besides 4 bartenders working they lacked the attention costumers deserve. A little pricey though.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Red Bank, The Robinson Ale House is a must-visit destination for food and drink enthusiasts alike. This spacious eatery boasts a sleek design complemented by a lively bar scene and an inviting patio that beckons diners to enjoy their meals outdoors. Guests can indulge in contemporary American cuisine, with an impressive selection of salads that are both hearty and delicious, especially when enhanced with your choice of protein.
Such a great place! The perfect atmosphere to wind down after a long day of work. We went there to have dinner before the show. The food was delicious, tasty and well presented. The waiter was cordial and friendly. I will definitely go back!

So my wife is indian and I'm black. We went there yesterday for lunch and was placed in a section behind a wall from everyone else. I said ok, maybe the waiter in this section needs to make money. But that wasn't the case, sat there for over an hour and noticed every other white couple and everyone else was being seated in other section and no one in our section. We were the only ones sitting by ourselves. Was it because we were minorities we were separated? The blonde hair girl that was doing the seating arrangements shouldn't be any more or fired. Nice way to treat a veteran.

Absolutely love this place. Top tier service and fantastic food. The drinks are consistently great. They play the best music and not too loud, so it’s good for small groups or larger. Salads are always fresh and the food could not be better. The outdoor seating is really nice too. My favorite place in Red Bank!
Siena G — Google review
Over the years, my wife and I have visited the Robinson Ale House a number of times for dinner. We are always grateful for both the quality of the food and service. We usually order a salad which is always made with fresh, crisp lettuce and well-portioned. I have ordered the Salmon Nicoise salad and my wife usually orders the chicken Cobb Salad. The greens are always fresh, the toppings are generous, and the dressing was well-balanced—not too overpowering. The service is always equally impressive. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our drinks (Moscow Mule, glass of Moscato and water) were refilled and checking in at the right moments. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and accommodating. Despite the restaurant being busy, our order arrived in a timely manner, and we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. Overall, Robinson Ale House delivers a great dining experience. If you’re looking for a place with fresh salads ( and a variety of good food to options) and excellent service, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.
John S — Google review
I was able to have my first ever gluten free lobster roll here (I have celiac disease)! The fries were also incredible! My girlfriend is a vegetarian, and she really enjoyed the portobello burger! We went back a second time and I enjoyed the mac and cheese (gluten free!), and she said the black bean burger was quite tasty! Thank you so much for accommodating our dietary needs, and for the delicious meals! We'll definitely be back!

Robinson Ale House provided an outstanding evening! 🇺🇸 The beef stew was absolutely phenomenal—a true comfort food classic done to perfection. The service from the waitress, Chris, was incredible. She was nice and pleasant, making the user feel right at home. The dining experience was made special by her service. ⭐ #RobinsonAleHouse #RedBankNJ #AsburyParkNJ #BeefStew #GreatService #ThankYouChris #AmericanPride 🇺🇸🍔🍻

The place is huge and very nice. The staff is always kind. The food I think is hit or miss. If my appetizer is good, my main meal is not, or vice verse. The drinks are always inconsistent. The last time I was here there was 3 of us and we had to all send our drinks back, we had some watermelon martini. The waiter even said it was a terrible choice. The steak is always over cooked or under cooked, same with the burgers which are always gray and taste like a typical frozen patty. I personally wouldn’t come back.

Bistro
B2 Bistro + Bar is a charming eatery that beautifully combines brick and wood accents, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion. With outdoor seating available, it’s an ideal spot to enjoy European-inspired dishes alongside a fantastic selection of craft beers and cocktails. This bistro prides itself on its garden-to-table approach, offering mouthwatering options like chili lime wings, dry-aged burgers, wood-fired pizzas, and bone-in filet mignon.
We are a big fan of the different B2 Bistro’s throughout NJ, but the cocktails and food here are truly unmatched. Ariana is a phenomenal bartender/mixologist! Came in with my partner looking to try some different craft cocktails in the area, ended up staying here the entire time! She was very attentive and offered her suggestions based on what flavor profiles we typically like. The cocktails she made were beautiful AND delicious! We aren’t bourbon people AT ALL, but she offered to make us a bourbon based creative cocktail, and it was out of this world!!! Ariana’s service was spectacular, her cocktails were perfectly balanced, and she helped us explore outside of our comfort zone with the drinks and we LOVED it! We will absolutely be returning!!!!

B2 is a great go-to spot. The food is great, the atmosphere is perfect (always great music) and the specials are always on point. Michelle is also incredible at guiding you through the menu (both food and drink) and creating an experience for you that you won't find anywhere else. She really is the heart and soul of B2.

Marissa and Michelle are the best bartenders ever. I feel like I am walking into my home when I go there. They welcome me and know what I want immediately when I walk in. This is my favorite place to go ever! They are both phenomenal servers and bartenders. Creative! Welcoming! And efficient! I cannot recommend B2 Bistro enough with the two of them there!! My absolute favorites in all of Monmouth County. OK recess love it. Anything else works?

We were shown to our table . Our waiter arrived quickly . It was a Tuesday so it wasn't crowded. We were there for a bite to eat with friends . Most got burgers which were good and I got a grilled chicken with avocado and bacon sandwich. Chicken was moist and sandwich was tasty . Our group likes music , but the selection was horrible and extremely loud . The table next to us also heard us talking and commented how awful and loud it was as well. That alone would cause us not to return . Maybe check the volume in a dining room that was fairly empty . Just a suggestion!
Kathy J — Google review
We just had a wonderful dinner celebrating my son’s birthday in B2’s beautifully decorated private room. This room can accommodate a small dinner party from 6–16 guests easily. The food was great, the service was good and the room was perfect. Highly recommend!!
Colleen V — Google review
Ideally, I would give this place a 4.5 out of 5 if I had the opportunity to. We like coming to Red Bank by train on a nice day and walk from the train station to B2. It's not a bad walk and allows us to get great food and some steps in. We have come here several times to get dinner before a concert or just a night out. The atmosphere is very comfortable and it is not loud at all. You can have a conversation comfortably at your table without the need to speak over surrounding parties. The bar is nice and there are several high tops you can choose to sit at, especially if you are with more than 2. Do recommend you trying out Sunday's, since it is happy hour all day long. We have liked everything that we tried here and have not had anything we thought was just alright. We have had their sushi, octopus, burgers, steaks, pizza, and various seafood meals. This place makes very good food. It does come out at a reasonable time and the food always seems fresh. My wife and I enjoyed all of their cocktails that we tried. The bartenders make good drinks here. Where my issue lies with this place is the time it takes to receive your drinks. We literally placed an order for drinks with a pizza and received the food before our drinks. This was a Sunday and I have seen reviews about the bar being understaffed but it was definitely my server. I had to say something about the wait time being long after we ordered another drink and it came out relatively quick. I am definitely not a person who does this often but it took well over 10 minutes to get a drink AND we were at a high top. It would have been quicker to sit at the bar, which had ample seating, to get a drink. I can say that when you order at a sit down, not a high top, the drinks come out in a reasonable time.

Great place to grab a bite and a beer before a show at the Count Basie Arts Center. They also have live music here, too. Outdoor bar area when the weather is nice. Casual hang out spot.

Restaurant located next to Count Basie theater. Great spot for a meal and drink before seeing a show. Has live entertainment. My order of fish taco was delectable. Parking lot and street parking around the establishment. 9.4/10

Had lunch at this place for a quick bite and drink. A couple Old Fashioned and flounder sandwich and French Onion Soup. The drinks had a good pour while, the French Onion Soup tasty and pretty good. Surprisingly the Flounder sandwich was actually fresh flounder and very good l. Fries were well cooked. Prices were comparable. Parking is on the street which are enforced and monitored. They do have outdoor seating and live music.

Stopped by for a quick bite before a concert at the arts center. Attentive server, good food and a nice vibe! The food was served quickly, which was nice, since we had limited time. The salad was great, super tasty!

if you are looking for live entertainment this spot is a good one... just don't expect too much or rather lower your expectations on food and cocktails... the band that was performing that. night was great... the atmosphere was good... place was packed... but i guess they didn't really come for the food nor cocktails... you'd be better off with tequila shots as it didn't need any prep...

We went to this place last Tuesday — it was probably our 3rd or 4th time visiting. Usually, we’ve had a really nice experience, but this time was completely different. My boyfriend (who is Black) grabbed a seat at the bar while I stepped away, and when I joined him we waited at least 10–15 minutes. In that entire time, the bartender never acknowledged us — no “hello,” no “I’ll be right with you,” nothing at all. It wasn’t busy, and as someone who also works in this industry, I understand giving staff grace when things get hectic. But this wasn’t that — it felt like we were being blatantly ignored. The experience was uncomfortable and disappointing, especially since we’ve enjoyed this place before.

Great atmosphere! Whether you are young or old it doesn't matter , all ages are welcome & feel comfortable. A safe bar with great service , typical bar food but the atmosphere is what makes it . Very chill vibe & a great place to see live bands on the weekends ! My favs are French dip & burgers .

Unexpectedly good food, limited menu but service was very attentive. A little loud, but hey, that's what they come here for! Entertainment every night which I hear is really entertaining!

Buona Sera is a charming formal restaurant that transports you to Italy with its exquisite decor and classic Italian cuisine. Known for its extensive wine selection, this dining spot offers a delightful experience for those seeking authentic flavors. Families often flock here after enjoying local performances, making it a perfect post-show destination. With various family-style event packages available, guests can indulge in generous portions of antipasto, pasta, entrees, desserts, and even raw bar selections. The standout dish? Lobster ravioli!
Great restaurant reviews drew us here, and it was next door to our theater venue, the Count Basie. Restaurant parking lot provided across the street, making it easy for leftovers to be dropped off as the portions are gigantic. Everything was delicious. Managers and owners came to every table. Cocktails made to the letter. Expensive and worth every dime spent. Fantastic.

Excellent dinner experience!! Food was phenomenal, service was outstanding. Went for our daughter’s 18th Birthday with a total of 10 and everyone’s food was delicious. The portions left us with 2-3 more meals. The staff constantly went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I can’t say enough good things! First tried this restaurant 19 years ago and it has never disappointed!! Love everything about it. Highly recommend!

We had my daughter’s 30th birthday party last night in the wine cellar!! The staff was amazing Javier and Amanda were fantastic with the drinks flowing and the food being served .. The aumbiance of the restaurant is beautiful. I was happy I picked the wine cellar the vibe was perfect for the theme we picked . Death to the twenties it was dark with black tablecloths and red chairs it was exactly what we wanted.. I loved the food choices I picked and everyone raved over the food !! Definitely will book another party there in the future..

Italian food that makes old world proud! Everything we have ever had is perfect. Parings and flavor combinations are done with precision. Every dish seems to be made to exacting standards. All of the meals are delicious and cooked the way you want it. I’m the staff is charming and helpful, and the food comes out in the timeframe expected for a high end restaurant. Their bartenders need a special shout out as their beverages are made with the same exacting standards. Marvelous! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable for parties of all sizes. It can get a little confusing, like the back allies of Italy.

Impeccable fine dining experience from the moment we stepped into this beautiful place to the moment we left. Excellent attentive service and very delicious food. Generous portions. We couldn’t eat it all. My favorite restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible experience at Buona Sera in Red Bank! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and a beautiful interior that gave real southern Italy vibes. It was our first time dining here, and we were treated like regulars. Our waiter, Sal, was fantastic — super attentive, knew the menu inside and out, and gave spot-on recommendations. If you go, ask for him! The food? Unbelievable. Everything we tried was top-tier. Honestly, this is easily in my top 5 meals of the year. I left nothing on my plate but the bone — that’s how good it was. Dessert was also delicious, and the wine selection is huge, with something for everyone. Highly recommend Buona Sera for anyone who loves great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

If you're in Red Bank and haven't wandered into Bueno Sera yet, let me be the first to gently (or maybe not-so-gently) nudge you in that direction. I stopped by recently, and it turned out to be one of those nights when the food outshines the cramped quarters—like a Broadway diva belting it out in a phone booth. First up, the swordfish puttanesca. Let me just say, I've had a lot of swordfish in my day—some good, some a little too close to the texture of a flip-flop. But this? This was hands-down the best swordfish I've ever had: thick, tender, and practically singing with moisture and that bright, salty-sweet puttanesca sauce. If swordfish were a religion, I’d be a convert right there. And speaking of seafood revelations, the clams casino here are something you’ve got to see to believe. These aren't your run-of-the-mill casino clams. These are the big-money slots: clams fresh and briny, smothered in a rich blanket of buttery breadcrumbs and crowned with bacon chunks so big you'd think they came straight from a butcher's fever dream. Absolutely killer. Now, full disclosure—Bueno Sera is not the spot for the claustrophobic. The tables are close enough to make a new friend without even trying, and the walking paths? Let’s just say they’re designed for folks who don’t mind bumping an elbow or two. But if you're feeling sociable and can maneuver like a cat burglar, it’s worth the squeeze. Oh, and there’s a cigar bar upstairs if you’re feeling fancy—or rebellious. It’s got good ventilation, which is a mercy given how lively (read: loud) the scene is. Still, it’s a unique spot to unwind after stuffing yourself silly. Service was reasonably attentive, especially considering they were packed to the rafters. Everyone was in good spirits, though, and that always makes a tight space feel a little less tight. And here’s a final bonus for anyone driving in: parking is easy-peasy across the street, catty-corner from the restaurant. It’s a rare treat in Red Bank, so take advantage of it! All in all, Bueno Sera delivers one hell of a meal, even if it’s a bit of a human Tetris game to navigate. But hey, once you’ve had that swordfish and clams casino, you’ll be too busy planning your return trip to notice the shuffle.

Red Rock Tap + Grill is a modern-rustic hangout in Red Bank that offers an elevated pub menu, a wide selection of draft beers, and outdoor seating. The restaurant has over 20 TVs and multiple spaces for customers to enjoy the games, including outside by the bar or at picnic tables with live music in the background. It's a great spot to watch sports with friends while enjoying specialty cocktails on their huge patio.
Great place to grab a bite, hang at one of the terrace bars and listen to local bands. Happy hour is a fun time here , love the upper bar to hang out and grab a bite. They have new menu items as of last summer . They added some healthier options like the ahi tuna wrap. Their tacos are great too. Fun vibe is fun, the breeze from the water down the block is nice on a summer night. It’s mostly 40+ year olds earlier but around 9 , depending on the band the crowd gets much younger, 20’s and 30’s. My friends and I don’t care cause it’s mixed so we just blend in and dance lol We love Red Rock!

Located on the Navesink River in Red Bank, this is a great choice for good food and local bar. I usually come here in the summer because they have the best rooftop bar overlooking the river and the little city of Red Bank. But, I'm glad I stopped in on this cold day. Espresso martini and bacon cheeseburger lollipops with homemade coleslaw, Yum! The service and cozy atmosphere make this place a must to stop for anyone who wants great food and service in Monmouth County.

Our grandson recommended that we go here. We were very happy with our order of Calamari, Bavarian Pretzel, Nachos Salad and Short Rib Tacos. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious! The dining experience was nice. Lots of large monitors to watch the games. Our server was gracious and attentive. Never had to ask for a refill onlf water. Cleared our plates right way. Very polite and we loved her smile. We will be back to try the entrees!!! The area is picturesque with piers and seating. So after eating our wonderful appetizers, (No need for entrees), we went for a walk. Too stuffed to sit!

Been here plenty of times. The place is always a vibe, especially when you can be outside. There's always local beer options like Carton, Kane, and Brix. Have been here enough to recommend the wings, the duck confit tater tots, and the sandwiches.

Excellent food and drinks. The space is a bit disjointed but there is a space for everyone. On the roof, down at the bar, etc. the service was good but dropped of when lunchtime hit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All of the food was perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. All of our drinks were well made and all the ordering was accurate. There is a wide variety of food items with something for everyone, even the adventurous. We look forward to going back whenever we are in the area.

I come here just about every time I visit Jersey. The shrimp tacos and crab cakes are delicious. The servers are attentive. It’s a laid back place to eat and talk. You have to dine on the rooftop at least once! My only recommendation is that the drinks could be a little stronger, but not bad at all for the price.
Shaharazad S — Google review
Beautiful setup inside and out. Nestled between the water and shopping it's a great location. The staff are genuine, friendly, and attentive. Second only to the food. Upscale "bar food" made with absolute care. Ribs fall off the bone with a touch, chicken tacos boast flavor, and the cheeseburger lollipops we're not only inventive but delightful. Definitely a must go.

Diners can contribute a suggested donation or volunteer in exchange for their meal. The restaurant aims to provide not only good food but also support for the community, with aspiring cooks preparing the dishes.
I’ve dinned here twice while on vacation in NJ. The food both times was absolutly delicious. The JBJ Soul seasoning is to die for. Both times I’ve ate here our server was Lisa is she is so friendly, knowledgeable and straight up phenomenal. Chef Emily cooks amazing, delicious food. Bottom line is what they do here for the local community is utterly amazing. The concept is to pay it forward so someone else who cannot afford to eat can come in and enjoy a hot meal. They recommend $25 per person, giving more if you are able is always welcome. It is truly farm to table food. They have their own farm which was donated to them. They grow their own herbs out front. They sell shirts, mugs, seasonings and yummy local honey. Every time I’m in NJ on vacation I will always make it a point to come to JBJ Soul not only for a good meal but to donate.

The restaurant is warm and inviting with a very homey feel. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the soup and my partner had the salad. We both had the pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans. We also both had the carrot cake for dessert. The salad was perfectly dressed and my soup was rich and thick. The pork chop was very thick and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were rich and buttery and the gravy was flavorful. Each component was delicious but a bite of the three was sublime. The carrot cake was fragrant and not-too-sweet and the cream-cheese icing was the perfect counter-balance. I have paid a lot more than the suggested donation for meals that weren't this good. My partner and I enjoyed our meal very much and plan to return.

Another great meal had by our group with very friendly servers and staff helping out the shrimp. Kebabs were fantastic. The Mexican corn salad was good. The best part was the dessert. I believe it was some kind of blueberry poundcake with all the blueberries down at the bottom, it was deliciousmuch success, and I will be back hopefully for the chili cook off.

What an experience! We literally flew in from Wisconsin to see and experience the Soul Kitchens. We wanted to see and feel first-hand how the JBJ Soul Foundation was helping people through the Soul Kitchen restaurants. We did Tom's River for lunch and Red Bank for dinner. Both meals were exceptional. Farm to table, chef created, healthy and beautifully presented meals. Fabulous food, but the real vibe is love. And hope. And connection. We were a party of 2, so the hostess asked if we were open to dining with others at our 4 top. Of course we were! We were paired with a young man who had come to the Soul Kitchen 2 years prior as an addict. First he ate, then he volunteered (and still does) and then he rebuilt his life piece by piece over the next 2 years. He got clean, found housing...all through resources and connections he made through the Soul Kitchen. We literally dined with the living embodiment of the mission. We were deeply touched, and transformed. Thank you JBJ Foundation for your heart and work in the community. Every community across this country should have a Soul Kitchen. Thank you Dorothea and Jon for the vision and execution to address hunger and housing insecurity. What a legacy! 💞

Very disappointed. Not by the food, but by the way my family and I were treated. After my brother mentioned to the waiter that he didn't speak English, the waiter turned to me and said, "Well, I don't speak Spanish, I hope you speak English." I told him I spoke English, so he didn't have to worry. He explained to me how much the suggested donation was ($30 per person) and that I wouldn't have to pay anything for my 3-year-old. Then a waitress came to the table already with an attitude. I mentioned to her that I was going to be paying the full suggested donation for two meals ($60) and if it was possible to get a grilled sandwich for my toddler (it was on the menu). She said I would have to order a full meal if I wanted the sandwich. I explained to her that I didn't want the rest of the food to go to waste since I knew my kid wasn't going to eat everything. She declined. So I'm confused; the first person said my kid could eat at no cost, but then the second person refused to give my toddler just one of the items in one meal?! When it was time to pay, the guy asked me how much I wanted to pay. I gave him $60 and he said, "Oh, are you sure?" I asked him, "Didn't you say $30 per person?" Then I asked him if they had anyone that couldn't pay for their meal that afternoon. He said yes. I gave him extra money and said it was to help cover the cost of their food. He definitely looked surprised. I've been in this country for almost 30 years. This is the first time I have felt discriminated against the way I felt last week when I visited this place. Nowadays, telling someone that you can't help them because you don't speak their language is just an excuse. With all the available technology, if you want to help someone, you can.
ML B — Google review
Excellent food from a limited, but diverse, menu. The night we came here they had four entries: chicken; pork; fish; tofu. The appetizers were a soup or a salad. Dessert was carrot cake or fruit. The service was friendly and courteous. We wanted to support the good work they do for those in need.

Nicholas Barrel & Roost is an informal eatery that offers a variety of classic dishes such as burgers, pizzas, and steaks. The restaurant has recently undergone a necessary transformation, leaving behind their fancy approach for a more successful one. Their fried cheese curd with roost sauce is perfectly cooked and not greasy. However, the bread with ricotta is disappointing as it simply consists of rolls of bread with ricotta in one corner of the plate.
A Red Bank restaurant with its own parking lot! Great place to meet up. And so much to choose from, it was tough deciding. (I don’t think you can go wrong.Look at the menu yourself and see. *the attention is given for each dish in the small details!) Not pictured, but an amazing ending to this dinner experience… Cookies & Milk. YUM!

We made a reservation for brunch and we're seated right away. Staff filled the water glasses immediately and allowed us all the time we needed to peruse their extensive wine and cocktail menu. All the drinks were served rather quickly and had nice, fresh flavors. We opted to share the Scotch egg, which was prepared and presented beautifully. We dined on the Shovel salad, the Hangover sandwich, as well as the Surf and Turf. No one had any complaints about the food, portion size or freshness of what was presented. We shared a Dubai chocolate martini for dessert, which tasted amazing. We definitely want to go back for dinner soon!

First time here and it was great. My wife had the Dubai Chocolate Martini which was delicious. I started with the East Coast Oysters. For our meal my wife had the Filet Mignon which was slightly overcooked but still very good and Mashed Potatoes. I had the Shrimp and Garlic Sauce with Risotto. Everything was fantastic.

Stopped here on the way home from the beach. It wasn't very busy when we came in. The service was friendly and unhurried.. the waiter came by whenever we waived her down but didn't stop by much otherwise. We got the cheese curds for apps and they were good. The roost sauce was on the sweet side, not spicy as I expected from the orangy color. The crispy halibut was crispy I guess from the breading? A bit bland. The mushroom and bok choy were better but not great either. The chicken dish was fine, the chicken was a tad dry in some parts so we wouldn't get it again. The pizza was honestly the 'best' on the table and the cheapest. I'm not sure what their best dish might be but we didn't luck out and get anything worthy of a $30+ price unfortunately. Maybe the atmosphere is better outside on the deck, it wasn't anything special inside and the music was a bit loud for my taste. Is it a bar or an upscale restaurant? I wasn't sure.

Nicholas Barrel & Ruth is a hidden gem that delivers on both flavor and experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — cozy yet upscale, with a perfect balance of rustic charm and modern touches. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, offering a wide range of options that feel both creative and comforting. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The standout for me was [insert your favorite dish here if you’d like], but honestly, everything that came to the table impressed. What makes this restaurant really shine is the service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly — you can tell they take pride in making guests feel special. Whether you’re here for a casual night out, a date, or a celebration, Nicholas Barrel & Ruth hits all the right notes. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to, and I’ll definitely be returning soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent food, great drinks, and a memorable dining experience.

It's NOT Nicholas! The noise level was unbearable for a 6PM dinner in the glass atrium room - Never Again! You needed to scream to hear each other over a small table! Crazy 🤯 Service by Valerie was Amazing. Her recommendations were great. Her attentiveness was awesome - Friendly and willing to spend time with you! Food was good, but a little pricey. $7 for bread is expensive; $16 for a cup of Lobster Bisque is a lot; understandable if it was fantastic, but it wasn't! Looked like tomato soup! Tempura Shrimp was incredible ... The rest of the dinner was average. The price tag was $200 with tax & tip ... I have been to many places that were better and the price tag was about $80 less ... Choose wisely! I know what it's like when you are so looking forward to going to dinner expecting an Awesome place and meal and you leave disappointed 🙄 For the price, I would look elsewhere IMHO 🫣

This popular spot is frequented by celebrities and locals alike, offering a quiet atmosphere perfect for romantic dinners or family gatherings. The menu features a wide array of options including steaks, seafood, sushi, and gluten-free choices.
This place was great. We were sat within about 15 minutes of our reservation and had some drinks and ordered 2 bacon slabs as appetizers. Then we ordered 2 cowboy steaks, a filet mignon, a NY strip, and the steak fries. We also had sides of Mac and Cheese and some sweet potato fries. Everything was absolutely fantastic we really enjoyed it. The only issue is the beer and drink selection are okay not great but overall a great meal.

I'll give it a 4, great location in Red Bank. Service was very good too. The appetizers were delicious!!!!! Main course was also good. We tried the Porterhouse for 2 special. With the prices of meat these days it was a special for sure. $99 bucks w/salad and a side this was a great deal !!!!! Steak was good but nothing to write home about. Mother and wife had the filet mignon in crusted with gorganzolla. These were very good and should have been my choice too. Desert was good as well. Will return for another night. I love eating and moving to our new home is fabulous being 15 minutes from many great locations.

Service was great everyone's very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is quite and nice for a romantic dinner( we also went on a Tuesday) the place was clean and well kept. I got the crab soup which had a ton of crab meat I couldn't finish it. The crab could have been cleaned a little better. Got the garlic shrimp it was pretty good. I got the roasted chicken entree with roasted potatoes which I really enjoyed. My boyfriend got the ribeye with garlic whipped potatoes they were tasty but a little dry. The wine selection is good and we got coffee and the warm brownie with ice cream which was so perfect. We enjoyed everything and would return.

Sports bar
Nestled in the heart of Red Bank, The Globe Hotel Co is a charming sports bar that beautifully marries history with modern-day excitement. Originally built as a residence in 1840 and transformed into a hotel shortly after, this venue has stood the test of time, becoming a beloved gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.
Step through the doors of The Globe and into a world where time slows, where laughter mingles with the hum of the game, and where the clink of a perfectly poured pint feels like a familiar embrace. Since 1840, this hallowed spot has anchored downtown Red Bank—not just a sports bar, but a living relic of camaraderie, tradition, and the simple pleasure of a burger and a beer. Once an inn sheltering weary travelers, today it shelters the spirit of the town. The barstools tell stories, the taps flow with over 30 stellar brews—domestic and foreign alike—and the famed Globe Burger is a rite of passage for any local or visitor. And if you're in the know? The pork roll fries—golden, crisp, and utterly decadent—are a must. Fifteen flat screens glow, capturing every play, every moment, while seasoned bartenders—some here for decades—pour with precision and warmth. Their tenure speaks volumes: a sign of a place run right, of ownership that cares, of a bar where you’re not just served—you’re known. In a world that races ahead, chasing trends and fleeting fads, The Globe remains steadfast, a beacon of what a bar should be. No pretense, no gimmicks—just good company, great drinks, and the kind of authenticity you can’t manufacture. Pull up a seat, order a Guinness (poured to perfection), and soak it in. Some places fade. The Globe endures.

A landmark in Red Bank! Friendly service, great food, and affordable drinks. Fantastic for a quick bite/drink or a stop on a bar crawl. 10/10

Came by for a couple drinks and some quick eats. We got potato skins the pretzel sticks and mozz sticks everything was very good. Tasty. And hot and fresh. Im definitely coming back. Our bartender was on top of our orders and drinks too. 10/10

I ate here but didn't stay here. I don't know if they have lodging or if they had lodging ages ago. Nice pub with a menu better than what you would expect for a pub and tasty. No 5 star restaurant, but when looking for pub food with a TV in view regardless of where you are seated, this is the place.

They aren't a dive bar like everyone says. This is a good neighborhood joint with fairly priced drinks, awesome bartenders, and surprisingly good food. A great place to hangout and be left alone. A bit of an older crowd. Nothing rowdy or crazy. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite bar in red bank. Drinks are cheap, service is quick, and staff are friendly. It can definitely get crowded on a Friday or Saturday night but it's worth it. The food is also top notch and reasonably priced. Great for an easy dinner or a night out.

My granddad used to come here as a young man, my Dad and now me. We all loved it. Still great for friends and late nights. Side note: Fried Clam Strips, excellent here. Hard to find but if you like them, try them here.

Centrada / Cocina & Cocktails is a vibrant dining destination that beautifully captures the essence of pan-Latin culture and cuisine. Since its opening in spring 2022, this restaurant has transformed into a lively hub adorned with jewel-toned furnishings, tropical plants, and stunning murals that create an inviting atmosphere. Guests can indulge in an impressive selection of cocktails featuring unique tequilas and mezcal, perfectly paired with a diverse craft beer and wine menu.
I don’t know where to start so I will just tell you guys everything! This was by far one of the absolute best experience as my friends and I had for an evening out and the sole reason Behind the absolute flawless execution of our event with Kyle, The event manager. This was an event for about 40 people celebrating three birthdays. Kyle worked in tandem with me to plan out the perfect evening from the best menus to an all you can drink open bar. There was nothing that he would not do or accommodate honestly was beside myself at how kind and accommodating he was. You rarely find this level of customer service nowadays. We had our event on the second floor and it was absolutely beautiful from the comfortable seating to the amazing music, the delicious food, the fabulous dancers, and the gorgeous dessert towers. What made the night even more fantastic was the super amiable DJ that took any and all requests and played our favorite music even though a lot of it was foreign he was still able to accommodate almost 15 different tracks which we were so appreciative about because it made the birthday people feel that extra special. I cannot recommend this place enough. I cannot wait to celebrate and have more events here. What an amazing party thank you Kyle for everything.

This review is only for late night. We didn’t try the food. It was very crowded and no where to stand. You can only sit if you get table service. We had a few drinks. The guava margarita was good. The DJ was ok. He only used snippets of each song he played. Service is slow because they have too many patrons.

**10 Stars!** I hosted my friend’s bachelorette party at Centrada this past Saturday, and it was absolutely perfect. From the start, Justine and Kyle were fantastic, taking the time to communicate with me in the weeks leading up to the event and ensuring every detail was covered. The staff was incredible, especially our server Stacey, who went above and beyond to make our evening special. Kyle’s attention to detail throughout the night made everything flawless. The food was abundant and delicious, the drinks were top-notch, and the service was impressively quick. Whether you're planning a special event or just looking for a great dinner spot, I cannot recommend Centrada enough!

I hosted my 35th birthday at centrada this past Saturday and it totally exceeded my expectations on all aspects! From the planning process, organizing the open bar and food choices, from the way the night ran so smoothly from the moment we walked in. Centrada’s staff and event coordinators definitely made sure that all of ours needs were being met throughout the entire duration of the evening. I was in full communication with Kyle one of the event coordinators week leading up to the event to make sure all boxes were ticked and he made me feel very confident in the services being provided. I came in with a group of 20 people and had 2 tables set up in the middle of the restaurant by the DJ. I was very pleased with our placement, how quickly the appetizers for the tables came out, and the quality and taste. Thank you to Centrada and their entire team on making my 35th birthday celebration extra special and making myself and my party guests feel like true super stars! Looking forward to coming in again in the near future! 🎉

Phenomenal experience all around. This restaurant delivers not only with its incredible food and drinks, but also with its warm, welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Red Bank. We were served by the wonderful Gabriella, who, along with the rest of the staff, took exceptional care of us—even with two toddlers in tow creating a bit of chaos. The steak was cooked perfectly, the cocktails were top-notch, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully curated. We accidentally left our credit card behind, and the owner personally reached out to ensure we got it back—an above-and-beyond gesture that speaks volumes about their hospitality. Can’t wait to return!

I had no idea this place was going to be so upscale when I recommended it to a friend. We went here for a girls night out. The staff were very nice but upon being seated we were informed that we can only have the table for an hour because we did not have a reservation. I was unaware that we even needed one so perhaps an oversight on my part but it did make us feel rushed. Our server was nice but quite busy so service took awhile longer than anticipated. The menu is quite pricey so we just ordered a few appetizers and water. The food we did get was incredible I mean so delicious. They also had a photographer take our photos and they put them in frames and presented them to us for purchase. They were the loveliest photos I have ever seen and very cool. They were also only 20 dollars so I purchased two. Not a terrible experience at all just not for me and probably won't return my friend and I felt kind of out of place there.

Really enjoyed our girls night here at Centrada! We had so much fun! Food was awesome, drinks were awesome, service was awesome. The music was on point too! Big THANK YOU to our server Mandy for taking care of us. It’s nice to have someone so attentive! We highly recommend this spot for a girls night.

The girls and I got together for Galentine's at this restaurant. When I arrived I had to circle to find parking. I found something nearby. I walked in and it was live in there. I found my friends sitting and joined. The place was dimly lit and was decorated nicely. They had upstairs and downstairs seating. Amanda was our server and she was great. My friends ordered their meals and I tasted both. I enjoyed the rice and beans and the salmon. I ordered a vesper martini and it was ok. I enjoyed the long island iced tea better. As we sat and ate and drank the DJ was playing and they had dancers. It was a good time. We actually closed down the place and we enjoyed.

Char Steakhouse is a chic dining destination that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. Nestled in a spacious and stylish setting, this venue specializes in dry-aged cuts of meat and fresh seafood, complemented by indulgent desserts. Guests can savor mouthwatering dishes like Kobe meatballs, ribeye steaks, or the unique filet mignon Philly cheesesteak. To elevate your meal, consider pairing it with a refreshing Blackberry Smash cocktail crafted from Sagamore rye whiskey and fresh ingredients.
Had a stellar dinner here last night. While the steak is excellent, all the food was on point and delicious. The tuna tacos appetizer was a standout as was the potatoes au gratin side. The wine list is quite impressive as well, had a really bold Cab from Mayacamas that was superb. The service was also very efficient and warm, just the right balance of checking in and giving us space to enjoy our meal. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Red Bank, if not all of Monmouth County.

The upstairs area was very intimate and the ambiance was elegant. The gnocchi and the tiramisu were to die for. The everything in the tiramisu was freshly made to order. The house music was so loud, you could barely hear each other at the table. However, the food came out to perfection and our server was very kind and sweet. I’m not usually a steak house kind of person, but I was pleasantly surprised.

It was our first experience at a steakhouse like this and we were very pleased. The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive to us. Our waitress Breanna was excellent for her first table and she provided a very nice experience for us. We loved the bread basket and thought that was a super cool idea to give guests variety of choice.

My friends took me there for my birthday. The food was delicious , warm atmosphere, and great service! I had the tuna steak that was cooked medium-rare to perfection. Will definitely come back!
Flavia O — Google review
Truly terrible steak. There is a lot to like about Char, let’s make that clear. Great ambiance, attentive service, tasty side dishes and desserts. But the steak was embarrassingly bad and what you would expect from a supermarket steak. $65 for a Kansas City strip that was supposedly dry aged came out tough and bland. It was a birthday dinner so to protect the feelings of my partner I didn’t send it back, but judging by Google reviews it appears other customers had a similar experience. Such a shame.

One and Done, Never Again We had been looking forward to dining at this restaurant for a while and went on a Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. We were seated on the second floor. Unfortunately, the appearance of the restaurant was a bit underwhelming, and the food was just average. For appetizers, we had the oysters, which were fine but on the small side. I honestly can't remember the other appetizer we ordered, which tells you how unmemorable it was. Our main courses were also a mixed bag. I ordered the steak, which I asked for medium-rare, but it came out medium at best. My wife enjoyed her crabcakes and said they were good. My son had the surf and turf, and he had no complaints, but the presentation was non-existent. My son's girlfriend's dish was so unmemorable that I can't even recall what she ate. The food, overall, was average. The definite highlight of the meal was the coconut cake. It was probably the best part of the entire experience. The worst part of the evening, however, was the service. Our waiter had a smirk on his face, and the service was not enjoyable at all. When the service is bad, the entire meal tastes like crap. Our drinks were also nothing special.

Restaurant
Urban CoalHouse Pizza + Bar is a casual and laid-back eatery in Red Bank that offers delicious brick-oven pizza with a traditional touch. This former Brooklynite brings the flavors of old-world pizza to their menu, along with mouthwatering roasted chicken wings and other comfort food options. The ambiance is relaxed, with live music adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. The sausage, onions, and peppers pizza is particularly noteworthy for its exceptional taste.
Went to Urban Coalhouse the other night and ordered their wings and Margherita pizza. It was so good. My daughter ordered fries and a Ceasar salad with shrimp. Also really good. We sat outside in the back and we were the only ones there not so bad.

I usually find fancy restaurant-style pizza a bit boring, but the Burrata pie here is an exception. It’s an 7.8/10 - remarkable/ something to tell your friends about. It’s a little soupy and messy, yet still holds some crispness and can be managed without too much trouble. The melted burrata and cheese bring a rich, creamy texture and flavor that’s genuinely delightful. The dough is high quality, fresh, fluffy, and lightly charred, adding character to every bite. The sauce isn’t anything special, but that works here since this is more of a cheese driven pie.

I've had the pleasure of being served by Lauren for quite some time now, and she consistently delivers a fantastic experience. Even after all this time, her level of service and professionalism hasn't wavered. From the moment you sit down, she is incredibly attentive and warm, making every customer feel genuinely welcome. Her ability to manage a busy bar is truly impressive—she handles every order quickly and with remarkable efficiency, all while keeping a constant smile and positive attitude. Lauren is a professional who clearly takes pride in her work. Her skill and precision in making any drink you ask for are top-notch. More than just a bartender, she creates a great atmosphere. If you are looking for reliable, top-tier service and a friendly face you can count on, Lauren is an absolute standout. She's a true gem and a credit to the establishment!

Honestly, we considered not coming tonight based on past experiences with service. I'm glad we came. Vanessa did a great job, from beginning to end. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. The only downside tonight was that our table was pretty dirty when we were seated. I checked the table next to ours before I requested that ours be cleaned, but it wasn't much better. Since our daughter has celiac, and the crumbs were a big no-no (and the grease stains were gross), I requested that someone clean our table. Someone came, and did a great job of thoroughly cleaning the table. He used a sopping wet rag, and left us with a dripping wet table. We dried it with napkins and moved on. The bottom line: Vanessa was AWESOME. The food was delicious. The cleanliness was not so great.

She’s genuinely funny, warm, and welcoming. Being around her is simply fun. Lauren has that rare gift of turning a good night into a great one, and it’s clear she cares about every guest who walks through the door. Fantastic upscale, yet still casual, restaurant overlooking the Navesink River in Red Bank. Menu is mostly seafood but has meat options and specials as well. Service was very friendly. Food was exceptional! I got the Superfood Salad with a nice big piece of salmon on top. Others got the Miso glazed Cod (highly recommend).

We came here with our big family for a birthday party and the food was absolutely delicious the creativity even in the cecar salad ( cecar salad had fried mozzarella stick bites in it ) every appetizer and entree was delicious. Our waiter was awesome. He handled a huge table all on his own very quickly and efficiently and even made time to chit chat and make fun with the kids. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the drinks. When I go out to restaurants I always have to have a good drink and I tried their classic drink which tasted like pure rubbing alcohol so the waiter changed it to their “ sweetest drink “ which was nasty too.. they should absolutely work on their drink menu. Otherwise very good !

We had an exceptional time hosting our rehearsal dinner at 26 West on the Navesink. Every part of the process was seamless—from the initial outreach and planning to the setup and the event itself. We always felt at ease, were able to ask any questions, and the final result was everything we could have hoped for—and more. The service during the event was outstanding. The staff was attentive and adapted to multiple requests throughout the evening. The food was absolutely phenomenal—especially the seafood ravioli, which was divine. The dessert sampler was also a hit, particularly for a tiramisu lover like me. Our private room offered stunning scenic views of the Navesink River, and the retractable garage-style doors let in a refreshing breeze for most of the night, allowing guests to choose their comfort level. Overall, we can't speak highly enough of our experience. Whether you're planning a special event or just looking for a great night out in Red Bank, we wholeheartedly recommend 26 West.

I would come back and request her to be our server every single time! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I went there for my birthday on Sunday. I only got the cheese and chocolate fondue. I have to say that they were delicious. My only problem is they don’t fill the pot up enough with the cheese or with the chocolate. If you want more, you pay more, I had to get two cheese fondue’s since I wasn’t getting the meats. I know some other places will fill up the pot almost all the way. I understand that inflation is going on but we are paying a lot of money for the food as it is, so I feel like the portion size of the cheese and chocolate fondue could definitely be a lot more. Other than that, everything tasted really good. The waitress was really nice and good. The atmosphere is great. I love this place. I just hope that you take these reviews into consideration. Thank you so much for my chocolate strawberry birthday gift. It was cute how they decorated my plate to say happy birthday

Ive never had Fondue before and it was a fun expierence for sure. I went by myself and I definitely recommended to bring a friend, the dining here isn't super solo dining friendly but I still had a blast. However the prices are crazy considering the amount of food you're getting. $30 each for an app, salad, and desert. And $40 for the entree. 1 of each adds up to a grand total of 130 for 1. And the actual food part wasnt much. But it was delicious tho. Service was amazing

It's nice place, and good drink varitey. The server was very inconvenient. She didn't pay attention to us at all so we had to wait to order and to check even though it was not crowded at all. I couldn't drink the day I visited with my friends, so I asked her if they can make non-alcohol drink and her answer was no. Even when I asked her what kind of juice they have, she got annoyed and answered. It might be a difficult day for her though we also want to have a good time and don't want to ruin our mood by such customer service as well. If you don't drink alcohol, you might not enjoy this place because your choice would be orange juice, cranberry juice or soda.

Rude staff, bartenders not friendly AT ALL and served my drinks in a hot glass that was also barely mixed. Disgusting. It's also really dark, and kind of grimy and dirty. My family attended a Generation Women event and ate here for the first time. I only was able to have hummus, veggies, pretzels bites and it was tasty. My family tried the potato appetizer which wasn’t a hit but really enjoyed the ribs, fish and chips, steak and fries. My son loved his steak and had two grape mocktails. The car home the raved about their waiter and how he was simply amazing. Thank you so much. Now it’s my turn to try next time.

Its big, bigger than expected. And spacious and open and bright. Their whole vibe is right on target, and you get that welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in. Our party of 4 was seated at a booth, and quickly got samples and brews before we even thought about food. Their Mosaic Pale Ale hit right on the spot for me. We shared a mezze plate and lamb ragu, and brownie sundae for desert. And each got our own sandwich + sides combo. Although everything was tasty, the portions were on the smaller side for the price. The service was great. I really liked their flexibility and proactiveness, allowing fruit as fries replacement, assisting with all the samples we wanted, giving us sharing plates and spoons without asking.

I have been there several times. Drinks are good, but their food is not that good. we were four people and ordered a burger, fried chicken, cod and pulled pork sandwich. The buns were stale, plantain was so deep fried that it was swimming in oil - so mushy. Their happy hour appetizers are very small and not that great either. Service - at the bar and at the table is always outstanding.

Rating this one harsher than most because it could have been so much better. The service made small mistakes in almost every part of the experience and order. Food was mediocre at a high cost. Best part of both our meals was the chips, and the new drink menu was also not great. The atmosphere and design is gorgeous, with a cute stage for live music. Parking garage validation is nice. Somebody invest in this place

I had such a great experience tonight. The food was amazing. It honestly seems like it’s gotten even better. I actually asked our server if there was a new chef because everything tasted so fresh and delicious. She said no, so I told her to please pass along my compliments, because every time I’ve come in it’s been good, but tonight it was great. The service was awesome as well. Ana was very attentive, super friendly, and recommended some great dishes and beers. It wasn’t too busy, so we even got to chat a bit, which made the experience feel even more personal. There was also a jazz band playing, and they were fantastic! Great touch to the atmosphere. I really enjoyed my night and can’t wait to be back soon!

Mexican restaurant
If you're on the hunt for authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than North of the Border in Monmouth County. This charming little eatery serves up homestyle dishes that will transport you back to your hometown. With options like three tacos for just $7 and a delicious Tortas sandwich at $6, it's an affordable gem worth visiting. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for late-night cravings or a casual meal with friends or family.
One of many authentic Mexican restaurants in Red Bank , away from the limelight of Front and Broad Street where the prices you pay for your food is inflated just because of the location. Experience truly authentic Mexican food where the locals visit and ignore the imitations of their culture at Surf Taco. LOL This is the place to enjoy handmade thin flour tortillas and thin crispy chips and everything from Al Pastor to Lengua.

This is now la frontera. Not sure if same owner but it’s remodeled. This is hands down the best Mexican I’ve had in monouth county. Their sandwiches, tacos and enchiladas are unbelievable. My new favorite spot in red bank. Great quantity and pricing.

Superb value. Come here if you are hungry. High quality food comes served in very large portions. Definitely an authentic Mexican experience. I will definitely come back here. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Service is quick.

The food was absolutely delicious! I got Tacos al Pastor and my friends and I shared the Super Nachos con Bistec. The portions are huge and the taste is great. As the meat gets colder it does dry a bit though. Another criticism of mine would be that we did have to wait a while for the food to come, but considering the amount we ordered, that's understandable.

This authentic Mexican fare, hole in the wall is wonderful! Some of the best chicken tacos I have ever had and the black bean soup was delicious! They offer an extensive menu including not only breakfast (even available late in the day for an additional fee) but a whole fish which, on the Friday night we visited, was being ordered again and again. Very reasonably priced and the service was fast. Many patrons were opting for take out, likely because seating is limited but the front cashier/hostess was cheerful and helpful, finding extra chairs in the back to accommodate us. We look forward to being repeat customers!

Stopped in after a night shift for some Birria tacos to go. Wonderful people, fantastic food, more than reasonable price.

Its okay but I had to wait pretty long to get my food. Its a little small but it was OK the food was not the best but also not the worst. I've been to better places. My food was a bit spicy but OK but my dad did not like his food so much.

I went with my wife to try this tacos. I must say that the best thing is that they are authentic and I made me remember my home town. I order Lengua tacos (tong) and my wife Bistec. I loved the way they served the tacos, i know this is a small detail but it was nice. My tong tacos were delicious, is hard to find those around so once i saw them in the menu i didnt hesitated. My wife ordered Bistec and while i tried them and they were good, my wife mentioned they were a little greasy. For me they wasnt but the only thing is that they taste like Bistec + Chorizo, i mean i liked them but not sure if a person ordering just bistec is expecting that. We order Jamaica (hibicus) for beverage and it was really good. I also loved that they were selling Chips and Soda with Mexican Flavors. 4 stars are because of the Bistec tacos, and i would make it 4.5 but there is no .5

Murphy's Tavern is a charming bar that welcomes guests every day from 4 PM to 2 AM, making it the perfect spot for both newcomers and regulars alike. Nestled in a residential area of Rumson, this cozy hideaway has an intriguing history as a speakeasy from the 1920s, which adds to its unique allure. The basement setting offers a relaxed atmosphere where friendly patrons can unwind with moderately priced drinks and enjoy small bites like bar pies.
The best speakeasy. The service was amazing and they have good food. The drinks were the best! You can actually taste the alcohol in them. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable and they have games as well. Definitely coming back again and highly recommend this place.

My husband recently hosted a bunch of old college buddies and their wives for our wedding! Since about 25 of them were visiting the Shore area for the first time, he wanted to make sure they experienced all the sights and sounds Monmouth County has to offer. Normally, finding something fun (and legal) for a large group of out-of-towners to do after midnight is a challenge—but not in Rumson! He took the whole crew to Murphy’s Tavern with the promise that they’d get a taste of a local legend: a good old-fashioned speakeasy tucked away in the basement of a house, right in the heart of a residential neighborhood. Needless to say, they had a blast! Whether you’re kicking off a weekend wedding celebration or just grabbing a late-night drink, we highly recommend popping into Murphy’s Tavern.

The place is extremely dirty. I found specs of who knows what in all of my drinks. The food is disgusting and the bartender Cleo is extremely rude. It was very unwelcoming and this place was dead. One person in there and not even joking. I do not recommend

The atmosphere is described as warm and welcoming, making it a great place to gather with friends for a cold drink or delicious food. The waitstaff are friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service even during busy times.
What a great place! I loved the booths with cool pillows; so cozy. We had great food, and we're really happy we could customize our burgers. We also had a bread pudding, recommended by our server, and it was yummy. I wasn't sure if this would be a good place to bring our well behaved children, and it definitely would be.

Sat at bar. Bartenders were very nice. My husband enjoyed his salad. I had 2 apps..tuna tower and dumpings. I was not impressed. Tuna tower would have been nice with coconut rice. Dumpings were blah.

My family frequents Victory Park in Rumson on a regular basis. Victory Park is advertised as per se, “ as a cozy neighborhood spot, and a good place for family and friends.” Although this has been a true statement in the past, I would dispute this statement as of this evening. My family made reservations to dine at Victory Park Tavern Sunday evening. Our family was taken to our table by the hostess. As we were ready to sit, the hostess decided this table was not a “fit” for our family. Upon getting situated at a different table, our 21 month old daughter fussed a bit when her foot became stuck in the table seat that we brought along with us. We quickly distracted her as to not disrupt other patrons at the restaurant. A friendly waitress whom has served us in the past, watched and smiled. Our daughter settled in and was NOT screaming, crying, or misbehaving, and even if she were, there would have been an appropriate manner in which to address this situation. The hostess suddenly came over to our table and informed our family that she has it on “record” that our two children cry out and disturb their customers, she followed that up with…if your child cries out, please take her outside. I would like to first express, we have one child not two, and we were accused of having “our children” disrupt a so called “family” establishment. I would also like to mention, BEWARE… Victory Park Tavern is taking notes in reference to the behaviors that families display while dining in their restaurant. Also be aware that their notes are not correct! Think twice about dining at Victory Park Tavern … do you feel comfortable frequenting an establishment in which staff take notes about your family? Please also be aware of how the staff speaks to your family, it was unprofessional to speak negatively in front of our daughter. After experiencing this hostile and unpleasant environment at a so called “family” restaurant, our family decided to leave this establishment as at this moment we knew this was no longer an establishment that is family friendly. We felt it was only fair to speak with a manager to express our concerns about the unprofessional actions that the hostess displayed to our family. To our disbelief, the hostess is the OWNER of Victory Park Tavern. To say the least, we were stunned. We told her our concerns in a kind family-like manner, and also mentioned that social media speaks in volumes. We were not encouraged to stay and dine. This is the first time I have ever posted anything negative on social media, and the reason being is that from the moment we were being seated, we feel our family was being targeted for dining with a young child. In the end, our family enjoyed a pleasant meal at a FAMILY FRIENDLY restaurant in Rumson. Salt Creek Grill was exceptional; the staff, food and friendly environment was just what our family needed to enjoy our Sunday evening! We can only hope the owner of Victory Park learns a lesson, but in the end… they have lost a loyal customer.

I am surprised I haven’t been here before, what a great place! Awesome bar, great food, outstanding service! We set at the bar, small and cozy and for a small bar two barmaids were hustling, attending to all patrons at the bar and making drinks for the servers, and despite how busy they were, they still had time for a friendly small talk as they were serving drinks. The food is yummy!!!! This is our new place to hang out! Cannot wait to come back😋

For not being overly busy the appetizers came out cold and then it was an hour after the appetizers to get our main course. Food itself was very good but I need to give another chance for a better start.

Not everything it's cracked up to be. First.when we sat down, one of the small plates had a crack in it and the other was dirty . The appetizers were good , with the crab bisque the best. We each had a different burger and they came up out just barely warm . Their taste was OK, but not even close to some of the burgers I've had elsewhere . We decided against dessert . Overall , the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment based on the reviews and we will not return.

Went to see a friends band play music. I ordered a Mushroom and Swiss Burger. It was excellent! I was a little surprised. They cooked it perfectly medium like I asked and it was seasoned well. Also, you can't go to a bat without getting a few drinks. I enjoyed a couple of Yeunglin's and Maker's

This is neat cozy bar. The staff is very friendly the beer selection includes Troegs Mad Elf. The wings were perfectly cooked just didn't like the chipotle spice in the sauce. We love Mexican food but traditional style wing sauce. Worth a visit.
