Went for happy hour and listened to a band on Tuesday. We read on a flier that they have Taco Tuesday Special. The server said they do not offer this. Although we were disappointed, we enjoyed listening to the band & watching beautiful sunset. The food and drinks were pricey so we only had appetizers & drinks. There are several other restaurants to choose from for dinner in the West End.

Fabulous place in every way - but- get the fans working !! Live music is such fun. Bar staff are fabulous. But Mr Owner - get those fans working !! Have the fish bites !

This is where all the cool foreigners go for overpriced drinks in the early evening. Location is nice, right on the beach… everything else is average at best. It’s also cash only, or they charge exorbitant fees for cash apps… which is kinda weird since even pulperías in Los fuertes take credit cards… but yeah, it’s cool to stop by for a drink and people watch the strange northern peoples trying to act like divemaster caribeños 🤣

I decided to stop by this place since I am all in for a restaurant or bar with live music. I ordered fish bites with plantain chips along with cheese burger with fries. Good food, huge portions, amazing ambience but customer service needs improvement. When you walk in, there is no one to greet you and you are on your own when it comes to grabbing the table and taking the menu. Another thing which ruined my experience was that they don't take credit cards which is a surprise considering this place is packed with tourists. They only accept payment through cash, PayPal or Venmo.

Loved my brief stop here. The bar tenders were so attentive and kind- very fast service as well. The atmosphere is super fun and there were plenty of people to talk to. Drinks were top shelf in every way. Loved my daiquiri.

Cool 2 story beach bar directly on the water. We only had drinks, could have been a little cheaper, but $6 for a nice beer on the water not bad. The bartenders were great, very personable. Location is great

Had our Christmas Eve dinner here :) friendly staff and delicious food! We had the seafood pasta. Baby back ribs and the short ribs. We had the steak tartar and Buffalo cheese and squash appetizers. Everything was delish:) must try !

We absolutely love this place. Food and service are always on point. Best ribs around, and you won’t want to miss the firecracker cauliflower. This is also the ONLY restaurant in the world where I order a ribeye (I’m typically a filet girl). Delicious!

Excellent food, top notch service. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Kudos to the chef, I had their special which was lamb shank in a curry sauce with rice and a bomb yogurt sauce. This was so good! My husband had the baby back ribs and omg they were so tender and tasty! Highly recommend!!!

Wow! Menu changes frequently (I've been told) so what you read online is probably out of date. But some things are pretty consistent. Fire-cracker cauliflower was fantastic. Wahoo for me and lamb meatballs for her. Key lime pie and the snickers desert. Great meal. Fantastic, RELAXED ambiance, all equaled a lovely evening. Probably the best meal on the island.

The Roatan Oasis is an indoor setting and open patio setting restaurant. (My wife called it a tree house.) The staff were very nice and accommodating, remember you are on an island and things are more relaxed here. The food was great (I know cause I got to try some from everyone in my group).

We walked up from the West End for a family dinner. We tried the cauliflower, tuna tacos, short rib, vegetable risotto, and ribs. Everything was amazing with lovely flavors. I would say the cauliflower is a MUST try. Amazing place 😊

Extremely well thought out menu; very creative and well done. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, and you'll likely need a reservation. The food quality, unique flavors, and the knowledgeable and friendly service make RO my favorite restaurant on the island!

Found this unassuming place while walking the West End. It's name belies what is here....authentic Italian food! And, the food is AMAZING. Georgia greeted us and introduced us to the wonderful menu items for the day. This place was so outstanding, we actually ate there twice during our stay. I had the squid ink, lobster/cheese stuffed (rather large) tortellini with shrimp while one of my mates had a seafood linguini - perfect al dente pasta with tantalizing clams, mussels, squid and shrimp in a creamy, garlicy sauce. Both served with a crispy outside, tender inside slice of bread (so no sauce would go to waste). The second visit, we tried the deep fried pizza (almost like a cracker with still some chew), simply dressed with a red sauce and basil. Simple, but delicious, as was the fried ravioli. Other's with me had the eggplant parm, canelloni and lasagna...all scrumptious. Other than the charm and attentiveness of Georgia, the other nice surprise was the price. It was very reasonably priced and less than I would've expected. Next time I'm in Roatan, I'll be sure to dine here again!

One of my favourite restaurants in West End! I went twice here on my 1-week vacation and both times the atmosphere and food were incredible. First time: I got a delicious homemade tagliatelle with pesto sauce. After going to Italy last year, I haven’t found pasta that tops Italian pasta until this location. You could tell the pasta was freshly made and sauce was made from scratch. Second time: I decided to try one of their specials. I got the gnocchi with black truffle and ricotta. It was incredible, every bite was a burst of flavour in your mouth. Both times: I got the aperol spritz which came in a comedically tall glass — it was delicious! The atmosphere was also amazing. They have swings that you can sit on to eat your meal which makes the experience so fun. Highly recommend!

This is our family’s #1 favorite Italian restaurant to eat at the West End. At first we thought this place was a bar with the limited seating and based off the name of the restaurant. We have eaten here a few times in one week and loved every meal we ordered. The lasagna is absolutely the BEST I have ever had, the Chef’s special, Traditional Tortellini in Creamy Parmesan Sauce & Truffle Oil, and Cappelliacci in Ribs Sauce were amazing. The kids also loved the pizza. The Tiramisu and Panna Cotta desserts were delicious. The Italian couple are so friendly and we absolutely loved the atmosphere here.

Loved this super cute little Italian restaurant! Reservation recommended. There are so many specials to try! We loved the fried pizza, the calamari was nice too. All of the pastas were delicious. We had the squid ink pasta with clams and the penne vodka, the vodka sauce was some of the best I've had. Don't skip dessert! Awesome tiramisu, mascarpone ice cream and of course espresso with sambuca

Best meal we had in Roatan. Started with the Caprese salad, which was enough for two people at least. Then we had an incredible tagliatelle Bolognese, calzone, and ravioli stuffed with burrata topped with shrimp in a pistachio pesto. All were wonderful. A nice Aperol spritz and a Montepulciano accompanied it. Can’t say great things about this place.

Easily one of the best italian restaurants I've been to. The owner is super friendly and takes the time to explain his menu and specialties in very helpful details. We had the Big Gnocchi filled with bacon and smoked scarmoza cheese in gorgonzola and the Ravioli stuffed with burrata in pistachia pesto with shrimp, the flavors felt like they were engineered to fit together. A must if you're in Roatan!

There are no words to describe this place the pizzas, the pastas, the tiramisu… everything is just amazing! 😍 From the service to the food, it’s all perfect. My favorite spot, with GREAT prices !!!

We went at around 7 pm on Saturday night and they close at 8 pm. It is a quaint, casual restaurant. They only had a few items left. We ordered shrimp curry and conch fritters & each dish came with 2 sides. The food was ok and pricey.

Meal was nothing special. I was expecting a more flavorful meal after reading the reviews. We were the only ones there until a second couple arrived. Service was friendly. We had the blackened snapper. Cocoanut beans really didn’t have any coconut flavor that we could detect. $41 for the 2 dishes with no drinks. They don’t give receipts for some reason. Cash only and they add 15% to the bill. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

If you are looking for local Honduran flavors, one of the recommendations (they said), would be to visit Lorettas’s. It is at West End. A small open air eatery that is popular with the locals and tourists. There are about 5 well appointed tables. The menu is basic but can satisfy the hungry. I ordered the grilled fish (snapper I later learned), in their special spiced recipe. The fish seemed pan fried and tasted exactly like a cajun spice. It was succulent and flaky. Very fresh, because I even questioned if it was not Tilapia because it was falling apart. The kidney beans, lacked a unique flavor. They were sweet and reminded me of the canned stuff you get in the States. It took about 30 minutes to get the food out. That is not a problem. They had numerous carry outs. The service was indifferent. Customer service is a department they need to work on.

This appears to be a popular stop for tour groups. The food was decent, though somewhat overpriced in my opinion, and it didn’t seem cooked to order. However, it was still flavorful. Service was good and the staff was friendly.

What a cool place! We brought in a black fin tuna we caught and had it cooked up in the late afternoon. We were the only ones in there and enjoyed how authentic everything was. This is a place to taste and experience true Honduran food. You can feel the love in every bite.

I am in Roatan now for the past 4 days and I've been trying to make it here. First night was too late then the next day we walked over there and it was closed by 6:30. Yesterday we got in too late again. Today I messaged them on WhatsApp at 6 and thankfully they were open. My daughter wasn't even that hungry. But I really wanted to try this place based on so many recommendations. I'm so glad I got the chance. I wanted everything on the menu but I settled for the curry chicken and rice and beans and my daughter got coconut shrimp with rice and Plantains. The portions are generous. The food was delicious, service was excellent and it was so inexpensive. I probably could eat here every day if it were up to me. I don't think my daughter would be happy. But u surely would be.

We didn’t see what the fuss is all about, prices are expensive no pride or finesse in platting or presentation . We ordered coconut shrimp which were ok but the oil dripped out of the shrimps on first bite. We asked for a recommendation. Of a house specialty ? They suggested curry chicken so disapointing thick rubbery chicken strips, the most liquid and tasteless curry sauce ever and canned beans and plain white rice. So the food here is worth the wait, but if it is busy you will be waiting a long time. There was live music. Everything was made to order, the portion sizes were great, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. We tried the burger, the chicken fingers, and the pulled pork wrap, I would recommend all of them. The fries were the best I’ve had on the island.

Cool Canadian addition to the food around the area. Very laid back vibe. Truly hangover greasy food to the max and all looked delicious! Also, service was quick so always a plus. The owner waited us, he is super nice and gave some good tips for around the island. Going back to try more for sure!

Best burger on the island (without trying all the burgers on the island)! You can add as many toppings as you want, for no extra charge!! Egg, avocado and bacon are included in that toppings list! 😯👏🏼😊 Fries were really good the first time, but I think we got the bottom of the barrel the second time we visited… so hit or miss, but I’d bet yours will be good. Cash only… or PayPal. Didn’t try the bathrooms, so cannot comment on that.

I can’t read that menu and not get EVERYTHING on that burger!! It was delicious! I’ve never had pineapple on a burger but I lived it! Staff was friendly! Ambience was great! Drinks were cold! Love it!

A great selection of burgers, wraps, drinks (including a Caesar). Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had with a generous selection of various selectable toppings.

The hangover hut felt like a home away from home. We visited one afternoon for a quick bite to eat, which turned into 2 more visits. The food is reasonably priced and is very tasty. Definitely get the poutine! The key lime pie is out of this world, which is why we returned. But the real deal is the owner and his staff, they treat you like family. Thanks for such a nice experience, we will be back

We absolutely loved Ginger’s Caribbean Grill! We ended up eating here three times during our stay because the food was consistently fresh and delicious. The chicken fried steak special was a standout - perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was always prompt and friendly, and we really appreciated the personal touch when the owner stopped by our table to chat. The relaxed patio overlooks the water, creating a beautiful setting for a meal, and there’s even a small beach where you can take a swim if you feel like it. Great food, warm hospitality, and a perfect waterfront island vibe - highly recommend!

I came here on a recommendation and enjoyed a delicious burger with grilled pineapple - my favorite! Service was quick, vibes were lively, and I wish I could have spent more time here before our cruise ship boarded for departure. I had an absolute blast overall and would go out of my way to come back again if I ever found myself in Honduras!

We ate at Ginger's twice during our visit to Roatan in June 2025. The food is excellent and the view is gorgeous. The orientation on the bay means you can sit in the shade and enjoy a cool drink and delicious food and just hang out!

We came in on a Sunday after just wandering around West End. So happy we found this gem of a restaurant! We sat on the patio overlooking the water. We ordered the shrimp tacos and the fresh fish of the day. Everything was cooked to perfection and was super yummy! The service was excellent. I think it was the owner who came over and made sure everything was up to par. Oh, and if you like mojitos, be sure to try their frozen one. It is probably the best I've ever had!

What a cool and chill place. My family and I had an amazing time. We arrived a bit early and they were kind enough to let us hang out and order from the bar. Food was great and probably the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. We did have a guide who had his own set of recommendations but Ginger's came highly recommended and the view was amazing. Also there was a dog swimming having the time of its life. Super chill and fun vibes.

The food here was amazing! And the view was even better! We went decided to grab a bite to eat after snorkeling right outside their back patio. They let us sit outside at one of their tables in our wet suites. The service was outstanding! I asked our server what was good and, he told us some things that were off the menu. Our server also checked on us so many times. It was nice. My brother got the special for the day and everyone else at my table got the lobster wrap. Everything was delicious! We also got pina coladas!

Gingers in West End is hands down one of the best spots to eat on the island. The burger was delicious, the drinks are spot on, and the oceanfront view makes every meal feel like a vacation within a vacation. The vibe is laid-back but the service is top-notch. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff made us feel right at home. Whether you're stopping in for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner by the sea, Gingers delivers every time. Very good food. Anthony and his wife started this restaurant in 2008. She is the main cook for the family-run restaurant. I got the jerk chicken with plantains and it was very good. Wonderful to support a fantastic local restaurant.

Don’t hesitate to stop at Anthony’s Chicken. We took their jerk chicken, everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Excellent quality food for the price. Service was good and owner his friendly and kind. I highly recommend.

Personally, this is the best local restaurant without frills on the island if you ask me. We stayed at the other end of the island past Loretta’s and we made the walk into town at least 3 times for their food. Freshly grilled fish and sides for $15?! Order ahead if you can and avoid the long wait. No AC but the food was always worth it.

My wife was craving some jerk chicken so that's how we ended up here. It was a pleasant little hole on the wall place with a very friendly and attentive staff of locals. the food was pretty nice, not the best jerk chicken I've eaten but still nice. If you have a bad back all the chairs here have no cushions at all so just a word for the wise. This place is inexpensive $$/$$$$$

My husband and I enjoyed what was the most delicious meal yet on the island yesterday. The owner was a pleasant lady who made us a melon juice that was incredibly refreshing and sweet. Then came the meal where I had the chicken filet with garlic potatoes, rice and beans and pico de gallo and I could tell I was never going to taste that meal back home. The chicken was seasoned so well with flavors I have not had before and the garlic potatoes is something I never tasted before but was really delicious. The jerk chicken looked inviting so I took a bite and it tasted as good as it looked. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his snapper too. A picky eater like myself was incredibly happy to enjoy what I call my first most pleasing meal on the island. Thank you Anthony's Chicken for what we felt like a meal that was made at home. Certainly will come back again.

The food was delicious! It was so tasty and made with quality ingredients. This family-owned restaurant is amazing. We asked if I could get a vegetarian plate and they were able to prepare such a flavourful meal!

Pazzo Italian Restaurant was an incredible dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch—attentive without being intrusive. I had the spicy beef pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce had just the right amount of heat to enhance the flavors without overpowering them. The quality of the ingredients really stood out. I didn’t have an appetizer this time, but based on the main course alone, I can confidently say this is a place worth returning to. Looking forward to trying more dishes on the menu! Highly recommend.

Excited to come back this May!!! Found this amazing restaurant last year and though my trip was only a few days, this was the only restaurant I made sure to come back to. The food is fresh and incredible. Johnny has set out to do something exceptional in Roatan and he has succeeded. Make a point to put this on the short list of must try in Roatan!!! Owner Johnny was very friendly and greeted us after we sat. Had probably the best tasting Bruschetta and my fruit de mare pasta was delish! The great part also was BYOB. We certainly enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious! Must visit!

Words cannot explain my experience here! The owner Johny invited my fiancé and I himself. The food melted in your mouth so rich, the steak the shrimp and pasta with spicy red sauce, the mussels and it was BYOB . The pasta was rich omg we will be back, it was like a drop of Italy in Roatan! Thank you sooooo much Johny our brother from another!

This place has the most underrated Italian dinner on the island AND the service is top-notch! It’s basically a porch that can seat maybe 20 people at a time - you must have reservations. And it’s BYOB. We always bring food home because the portions are huge! Finally, the price point is totally reasonable- $20ish a plate.

This place is a little fancy. You might need a reservation. Wearing shorts is no big deal, but you might want to put on a polo shirt. I had the meat lasagna, and it was freaking great.

This was our 2nd visit to the brewery. We enjoyed the food and drinks. I love the tropical kombucha. They also serve ribs on Saturdays and Sundays. Service was great as well. We just wished there was a better fan system since it's super hot on this side of the island.

My family stopped here at Roatan Island Brewing Co last month while on the island during a cruise stop. We did not have an excursion booked but ended up renting a taxi and while driving around saw the sign for the brewery and asked the driver to stop. We were so happy that we did. My husband loves trying different craft beers so when we travel we try to stop at a brewery. I personally do not like hoppy beers so will drink light beers or ciders. I ordered a flight with various ciders and I wish I could remember what I ordered but enjoyed them all! The owner was there and even offered our daughter some fresh hibiscus juice they had just made but was not ready for purchase. They had a shadow box with law enforcement patches and we left one for him to add to the next box. All of the staff was friendly and will definitely stop here again if we have the opportunity to come back to the island!

A friend of ours owns a condo in Roatan. We arrived in Roatan and she took us here. Great atmosphere, kids playing, friends talking. The Brown Ale was very good. The food was good. The staff was very friendly. When I am out at the local places I look for the Brown Ale each time.

Awesome!!! This place is a little out of the way but we visited during the craft fair. Which is typically on Sundays. We tried the Birria Egg Rolls. They were a crispy deep fried wrap of beef and cheese and vegetables with a onion and cilantro dip. Tried a flight of beer, the island honey was my favorite by the way I like heffweisins.

We bought the roatan brews and island views excursion through royal caribbean and it was honestly one of the best brewery experiences we've had. We got a tasting with the package of 4 beers or 8 beers for an additional $5. Then we got a personal tour for one of the 2 owners. Our group was small and it meant an extremely personal tour. Would 100% go again. Great.bwet and snacks and a great experience.

Cruise excursion here in Roatan and it was fantastic. Beers and food were excellent, but the tour and lesson after the tasting made it worthwhile. Informative, entertaining and really a great way to spend the morning. If you enjoy beer, add this to your list.

We didn’t even have the Brewery on our itinerary. What a hidden gem!!! Beer, food and merch - 5 Star. Brewmaster takes his craft seriously. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit when you find yourself in Roatan.

Fun little bar on the water. Great for watching the sunset. Affordable drinks ($2 beers), great service, and opened later than the rest of the bars made this a must stop in most evening and some afternoons.

Bartender was nice. We ordered their specialty drinks - the snapping shrimp and the tropical storm. The tropical storm tasted like grapefruit which was not expected considering pineapple juice is part of the mix and definitely not what I wanted. The snapping shrimp was way too sweet.

We had tacos here, It is along the beach side. They were super friendly excellent service gave us tips on things to do. I loved these tacos !!!!

This unofficial gay bar is a fantastic gem that embraces everyone with open arms. Its warm and inviting atmosphere attracts a diverse crowd of friendly people of all ages. It's the perfect place to strike up a conversation, make new friends, and share recommendations. The bartenders are exceptionally friendly, and the well drinks are only about $3 each. The inclusive and welcoming vibe ensures that everyone feels comfortable and at home. Highly recommended, especially if you're queer!

Great music, even better food, and… dare I say… best drinks? The staff is SO friendly, prices are beyond reasonable for waterfront, and the vibe is just fantastic. Such a fun place to come for drinks & the daily special, and Thursday karaoke is the place to be on the West End!

Excellent location, walking distance to many accommodations. Views of main center, can see the beach fireworks on special occasions. Non-alcohol mocktails are first on the drink menu. Plenty of options for all beverage tastes. Was expecting more seafood on the menu, but was not disappointed with the options. The half salads are a great idea! Staff is knowledgeable and attentive.

Restaurant on the second floor, nice view. Food was ok, over priced. We had dinner - Korean BBQ wings, Butter chicken, Red Snapper. Server Luis speaks English, he is nice & helpful. English menu available. They Accept credit card.

Had an incredible dinner here. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was top notch. This is an absolute must visit while in Roatán especially if you’re celebrating a birthday. The blueberry cheesecake was outstanding.

The seacuterie board was most of a meal for both of us. We are not fishy fish people and nothing was fishy!! Dessert was damn good too. No main course, no room, but we can only guess it would be as good!! And Louis was amazing!

Simply fantastic. Amazing service, sunset view, top chef level food (the cold sracha tuna and chicken curry was fantastic). Only gripe is the cost ($100 bucks for two people (one app, one desert and two entrees with no alcohol). I understand everything is locally sourced and that is expensive but the cost might make us only visit once more on this trip vs many many times. I would expect to pay a similar price in Charlotte. Do you have a teacher's discount lol 😂 Note written two days later (and reflected in my now 4 🌟 review versus initial 5 🌟) As a non Spanish speaker I was not aware a 20 percent tip aka "propina" or "bribe" in Spanish was automatically added to the bill. Seeing I didn't know this and it was not made clear on the menu or on signage (that I saw), I tipped 20 percent on top. To be honest, I am not saying it is intentional deception but it should be made clear to customers. I frankly should have asked what that line item was. That said, in hindsight, after exploring other restaurants in Flowers Bay and West end, there is much much better value in other restaurants. We got just as good of a meal for half the price at Seawiches.

There wasn't a plate that we weren't passing around to sample. I ordered the 1lb of mussels in a chorizo sauce. I was expecting to get a few. Omg they must have given me 10lbs. It was amazing. The creamy sauce should be offered as a cocktail 🤣

Went in for late night snacks. Lots of hustle and bustle on a Saturday night. Security guard at front. Staff were friendly and service was good. Food and drinks were just okay, good for late night with drinks.

Busy place in the center of west end. You can get quite cheap meal, but the drinks(beer) are rather expensive. Nice clean toilets, good service. So the prace are probably accurate

Local spot in West End, Roatan on the water with great vibes and surprisingly delicious drinks & food. We visited during the week and were able to get a table right away. I heard weekends get packed! The margarita cadillac was refreshing and well balanced. I had the pork chop and he had the steak - both very flavorful.

Don’t walk, run to the Booty Bar! Their gin & tonics are such a great price during happy hour! One evening I tried the honey bbq wings and they were the perfect crisp and flavour! Great atmosphere during happy hour and the perfect restaurant to watch the sunset. Each day the server would place me at the perfect table with a view☀️

Good dancing spot, a mixture of lively music. They offer a really loud dance hall area which is awesome, but if you want less loud but still lively music, you can go across the street to a club on the ocean. It is still a part of Booty Bar.

One of our favorites in West End! Had drinks here at least once a day/evening. Great sea-side view over the water, $2 domestic beer, reasonably priced cocktails, great food, and vibrant nightlife, especially on the weekends. If you are comfortable with heights and ladders, be sure to go up to the crow's nests for an amazing view and pics.

Great little tiki hit bar out on the beach. They usually have a pretty good playlist going and drinks are great. Ambiance is hard to beat, stop by for a cocktail and relax a while 🕺🏻

This is one of the best spots on the island. Tita is that rare gem in hospitality. Great place that tourists do not really know about, a bit out side of the beaten path in West End but worth the walk. Quiet and tranquil setting good atmosphere. If the locals like it then you know it is a good place to hang out.

Our favorite beach spot. We go almost every night for sunset. Kids love the casual vibe, playing in the sand, and the chicken strips are amazing.

This was the Champion place during COVID lockdown and Tita is the best owner ever, greatest sunsets right on the beach just steps from the water! THIS IS 100% MUST VISIT TO EAT AND DRINK!

This was recommended by our hotel as a great local place cooking Costa Rican food. Gotta say that it was better than almost all of the food we had last year in Costa Rica. The staff was super nice. The tropical sangria was refreshing, the chicken empanadas were outstanding and the shrimp stuffed lobster was incredible. To be right on the beach with a nice breeze topped it off. Highly recommend!

This place is great for highly sensitive Celiacs. Almost all the menu is gluten free, and the chef knows what gluten is, which is rare around the area. We came to eat almost every day and not once did we have cross-contamination issues. We tried almost every plate and drink, and there was not one thing we didn’t like. The waiters, chef and owner are super kind and nice. They have a nice relaxing atmosphere, with a fantastic sea view, and the occasional cute little humming flying by. We had a great time here.

You could say I’m pretty picky when it comes to restaurants. I expect good service, great drinks, and most importantly, amazing food. I was a little disappointed with the food in Roatan until I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Pura Vida is a gorgeous waterfront spot in Half Moon Bay. The owner’s from Costa Rica, and let me tell you, she knows her stuff. The vibe, the service, and most importantly, the food—all of it was top-notch. I ended up eating there more than once during my week in Roatan. Their empanadas are downright delicious, the fresh juices are so good they might be addictive, and the main courses? You won’t be disappointed. I’m still dreaming about that stuffed lobster dish I had — I actually went back more than once just for that! Honestly, I dare say it’s the best lobster in Roatan. Big thanks for the mouthwatering experience—can’t wait to go back!

After having the most stressful flight cancellation. I had to hustle all the way back in town and I was craving food BAD. I stumbled on this place and I have never felt so warm and welcomed in a restaurant before ( and I travel a lot) I asked for the lobster orzotto and to add mussels. We loved Stowaway Gastrobar so much that we broke our general rule of never eating at the same place twice when visiting a new destination — it was just that good! Paul and Alionka were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The food was high-quality, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious — truly the best meal we had on the island. This spot is a hidden gem: fantastic, quaint, and run by a highly skilled chef. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

Paul and Ali have the best restaurant on the island by far! My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 months and tried most of the restaurants the island had to offer but they were disappointing compared to Stowaways! Cancel your dinner plans and go here immediately but beware once you’ve tasted Ali’s food you won’t want to eat anywhere else. Some of our favourite dishes included: The baja lobster dip Shrimp tacos (or actually any tacos that Ali has made) The burrata And honestly anything else that was on their menu! Thank you Paul and Ali for always keeping our bellies full and making our time on the island even more amazing!

We were staying at Seagrape and this restaurant was walking distance. We enjoyed the fruti di mari noodle dish and went twice for dinner. The owners were friendly and service was excellent.

What a gem! We ate here on our last night on the island and we saved the best for last. The food was fantastic, an every changing menus means everything you got was fresh and you can tell. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, feels as if you’re eating dinner at a friends house on the front porch. Blown away by how special this place is, we will be back.

Wow what a hidden gem this is! By far the best restaurant of the island! I had a lobster&blue cheese salad to start and the ravioli with kale&spinish. All super fresh products, lovely setting and very friendly staff.

(02/09/2023) The tacos were quite flavorful and reasonably priced. Family had other food there and were quite impressed. Ate there as it was the last stop on the Carnival Cruise Iguana/Parrot/Sloth/Monkey package.

Great place for lunch! Tacos and Gyros and more. The food was delicious. They also offer a variety of coffees.

This was one of our stops on our cruise excursion. We stopped here for about an hour to shop and eat if anyone wanted. There was a nice shop located in the back that sold wood carvings just like at the Port but for about 1/2 the price. The locally made chocolate sold here is a must have as well.

Super friendly staff and amazing pork gyros. Quite possibly the best gyro I've ever had. A nice hidden gem to hang out and have a bite to eat and an iced coffee. Close to the airport so stop after landing for a relaxing treat. Baklava was also a major hit!

Visited as part of a cruise ship excursion. This was a nice location to visit and relax a bit. They offered the local Roatan Island Beer on tap. There were a few shops located near the Café to buy souvenirs, food and candy at the Macaw Market.

Service and view were amazing. Ortega took great care of us! Most of the food was really good. Grilled garlic shrimp were very tasty. Shrimp tacos were good but needed a little bit more wetness. Fries were fine.

This place made our trip! Food was absolutely fantastic! Everyone here has been super friendly. I was a little unsure right when we got off the ship BUT we booked a personal tour for $40 each (we had 6). Worth every penny hands down!

The atmosphere is amazing, I enjoyed swinging over the open water , watching the fish swim at night. Paula the server was super friendly, very helpful and definitely fun to be around. I would recommend this place to anyone, the food is tasty and good portions.

This was a cool place! Sit on the ocean and maybe see some eagle rays or cool fish of all sorts. The food was delicious! Three lobster tails and great Honduran sides(plantains and dirty rice and beans). The drinks were good and large! Definitely recommend👌👌

The place itself is pretty incredible. A great place for drinks and diving into the water. Love the hammocks, the deck, kids jumping off the second floor —- such a great lunch spot for this. However, the food wasn’t great. Shrimp didn’t have any taste even though it was covered in sauce. From the Harry Special the fried chicken and fried shrimp were okay. Go for the vibes, drinks and water. Lol

If you’re visiting Roatan Harry’s should be on the top of your list of places to eat. The environment is true Roatan/Caribbean featuring an open concept. There is a sports bar on the lower level and both a lower and upper level for dining. Guests can easily walk out to the beach to dip their toes in the crystal clear waters on a pristine beach. My wife and I had shrimp/chicken tacos and our new friends we met on the cruise had the red snapper. The presentation was exceptional and the taste was out of this world! We were all thoroughly satisfied with the quality and taste of our entrees. We were also thrilled to meet one of the owners, aptly named Harry. Our experience was enhanced by the friendliness of the staff and Harry’s warm greeting and interaction with their guests. Thanks Harry, the pleasure has been all yours (inside joke)!

Great space, well decorated. Carpaccio was excellent. My steak and side of spinach was beautifully plated but was far too salty. Ruined it for me. My son had ribs and they were delicious. I would try again and ask for no salt.

This was close to where we were staying. But even if we didn’t stay close and we were to come back I would still eat here again!! The ambiance was top tier! We didn’t realize all the special shows they would do with the drinks and food. They turned the lights out to pour the flame on the food! I ordered the chicken kabob with grilled veggies. I shouldn’t have gotten veggies bc it comes with the veggies that are on the platter. It was ok but I wouldn’t get it again. I didn’t taste any seasoning. I honestly didn’t have any good chicken items in Roatan. Now my bf got a New York steak & it was literally mouth watering !!!!!! Omg def the best steak we had. He asked them to cut it up. He only wanted one side but the waiter didn’t understand. The grilled veggies weren’t grilled down a lot like I prefer so I would get a different side next time & they didn’t have a lot of seasoning either and the wrap bacon is everything it seems like. The waiter was accommodating even though he didn’t speak much English. Those jalapeños were hotttttttt.

This place is fabulous! Each time I've been we have ordered one of their "Boards" which comes with a selection of meat, sides and sauces and is shared by our table. Everything is so flavorful and cooked as ordered. The mashed potatoes are a must!! Presentation is lovely and service is on point. They have outside and air conditioned dining areas which is great for hotter days. If you are looking for a place for a special occasion or just in the mood to splurge a little for a great meal this is definitely one of the best on island.

This place exceeded my expectations. We got the T bone and Ribeye with mashed potatoes and it was so good. Food took a while to come out (40+ mins of waiting) but it was delicious so…worth the wait lol. There was no mention on the menu of the mashed potatoes coming with bacon, which I cannot eat due to religion, but the staff corrected it promptly. The atmosphere is cute, but I’d come during the evening as it gets pretty hot and seems like there’s no AC. Steak was cooked well and the garlic bulb is such a nice touch! Would return.

Have to agree with another reviewer some of the prices here are just ridiculous! 75 for Tiger Shrimp and 138 for a lobster? 24 for a bowl of soup? As far as staff and ambience the place is beautiful! Tenderloin cooked perfectly but was so over seasoned in salt it was kinda gross. Mashed potatoes and garlic bulb fantastic! Overall would try again they need to reduce menu items and come to reality on prices can’t see selling alot of 138 dollar tails haha

Cool awesome outdoor steakhouse. The food an atmosphere is amazing. However, I’d suggest going in the evening when the sun goes down. The pineapple juice is a must try.

We split the tenderloin. Mashed potatoes were excellent. Steak was cooked exactly as we ordered. There is a section that is air-conditioned. This entire mall was made with shipping containers, and done very well.

My favorite spot on island to enjoy a glass of wine... or a bottle. Large selection of red, white and sparkling wines. Lots of variety for hard liquor as well.I enjoy the AC space and the new garden space out back. Love it!!! I also enjoy how you can choose from several restaurants to order from in the plaza if you want more than just drinks.

Gave a 3 for food since they don’t have any, but I like being able to order from the couple places in the market area. Great service and atmosphere. The cigar selection was scarce and not really properly humidified, but definitely worth a visit for a fun relaxing night. Was great with a big group.

This is a fun beach side restaurant that is paired with Pizzarama. They offer a large sized menu with a great options and drinks. The prices are relatively fair and the service is great. We ordered fish burgers, calzones, fish and dips and it was all delicious. They were served quickly and were delicious, the drinks were also great and delicious. They allow for a lot of customization which also helps with having the best meal possible, we considered this to be our best meal while on the island. Being next to the beach is amazing and they sometimes offered entertainment which was fun, however the sand flies were a bit annoying.

I didn't know that I liked piña colada until I visited this place. Like pretty much everywhere in Roatan, the drinks need a little bit more booze, but they were as good as I can remember while visiting and for the best price. The rice and peas were the best I had on the island too. Service was quite slow but I hear that they were on island time.

Been here a couple times now. The drinks have been great along with the food. I recommend the BOGO pizza on Monday with BOGO monkey lalas. Right on the beach with a beautiful view. Watch live music, hermit crab races, and fire dancers all right here.

Great friendly folks, good food, beach front dining, good pricing, restrooms, changing rooms with outdoor shower, beach stuff for rent, pretty beach. This is the hangout spot at sunset, arrive about 30 min before it sets because this place gets busy. The views are perfect for a sunset dinner. They have daily specials, which are a nice touch, to include a movie night and free popcorn. The pizza is delicious and fairly priced. Good drinks and the service is efficient. Live music on occasion.

We loved this place! No kidding, the medium pepperoni pizza was the best we have ever tasted and one of my friends worked in a pizza restaurant. We watched many sunsets with a Rum Punch in hand at the Thursty Turtle. Thanks everyone - we can't wait to come back to Roatan!

EDIT: we went back for the bang bang shrimp 😋 We were soooo hungry on our beach day. The bang bang shrimp was cooked perfectly. My bf said we were going to come back for it again before we leave. I settled with the chicken club. The chicken was dry. Didn’t seem freshly prepared. So I would say order something else or order the shrimp! The fries were cold. It does seem more expensive for the quality of food you get.

The ambiance, the lighting, and the staff were all pretty terrific. Now if we could just get the food aligned. The coconut rice and beans were good, and the french fries were cooked perfectly. But my bang bang shrimp was all wrong-- just got fried shrimp with some squirts of sauce on them. That was rather disappointing because the waiter said it was an excellent dish. I definitely would have passed on it if I knew what it was. But seeing the sunset while eating dinner really helped make it easier to forget that the food wasn't quite what I had hoped it would be.

This place was amazing! Stefany and Francisco from the wait staff at the beach were quick and ready to take care of us. Food was good. I had the Sea Bass Sandwich which was really good. We were at Anthony’s Key for a dolphin encounter, and decided to walk here after. We were thrilled to have found this place! The drinks were amazing- best spicy margarita I have had in a long time. I had tacos, and they were so delicious. My husband had jerk chicken that was juicy and tender, and our kids loved their meals as well. Service was attentive and quick. Would have loved to go back, but ran out of time before leaving Roatan. Highly recommend!

Blue Bahía Beach Grill is an absolute gem on the island. Everything we tried was outstanding. The hamburgers were juicy and delicious, and the loaded nachos appetizer stood out with fresh pico and hearty beans. The blackened fish tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had—the fish was incredibly flaky and full of flavor. The jerk chicken carried that authentic island seasoning, perfectly balanced and not overpowering. The coconut margarita was a surprise—almost like a dessert, smooth and creamy but not overly sweet. We also tried the calamari, which was excellent: not chewy, not over-battered, just fresh and perfectly cooked. Whether you’re looking for fresh seafood, island flavors, or just a great beachside meal, this spot delivers every time. Highly recommend!

This was a good restaurant! They had a small menu but it accommodated all dietary needs and was very delicious! The vibes were awesome with AMAZING LIVE MUSIC, nice seating and quick service all right on the beach; with beautiful views of the water! Though it’s pricey it is worth it for the vibes, views and food!

Looking for an awesome place to have a meal & hang out on the island? My hubby and I can’t say enough great things about Blue Bahia Beach Grill. The food is fantastic and the staff is wonderful and so accommodating. We are vegan foodies who recently moved to the island from NY, and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Also, the owners are the nicest people and the restaurant is on the beach, so the views are beautiful; especially at sunset. They have something special happening every night of the week, including live entertainment on Thursdays and Sundays. The prices are very reasonable, and we hear they that have the best breakfast. We haven’t tried that yet, but we’ve been there so many times this week that I think that we might officially be stalkers now! 😂 ♥️ Highly recommend!! 🌟👍🏼

One of my favorite spots on the island. I was staying at Blue Bahia Resort, and tried a lot of breakfast and dinner options. Food is very good, and prices are very reasonable (compared to West End, I would say “cheap” :) The service is great, and the place has its unique vibe - very relaxed and cool. They have wonderful live music on Sundays And Thursdays, and Lobster Tail specials on Wednesday!

We had the Conche Ceviche ($15), Coconut Lion Fish ($23) which comes with two sides, a local beer and a banana colada. The total came to $61 which included tax and a service charge. For a shack on the waterfront with no proper toilets this seemed a little pricey if I’m being completely honest. However, the lion fish was the best fish I think I’ve ever had. The batter it’s fried in is perfection. The ceviche had a fresh taste, and packed an appropriate punch. So far the best food we’ve had on the island. The road to get here isn’t the best. I wouldn’t say you need a 4x4 but you’d def need to drive slowly and avoid the bad potholes.

The views are amazing, the food is good. I got the coconut shrimp, and it was really good considering I'm not a big seafood person. Drinks are good! They also have this sugar water container that this little birds come and drink from. It's so magical! Tips: When you're in this part of town, please take clean water, sanitizing wipes, toilet paper/ napkins since this part of town, water is limited, and sometimes is shut off.

Wonderful place to enjoy a meal, the ocean, and on Sundays and a Thursdays live music! Walked here from the Camp Bat Lodge for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. They had a live singer which helped make for great ambiance. There are hummingbird feeders scattered throughout and we were treated to a constant stream of hummingbirds visiting the feeder at the end of our table. For food we enjoyed the coconut shrimp and a side of onion rings. For drinks excellent margaritas

Wonderful lunch at La Sirena! It all starts with the location on the water, just perfect views and wonderful setting. Then they add in the hummingbirds which are flying around to multiple bird feeders stationed throughout the seating area. Next up is the drink menu which is top notch and quite reasonable. I had the rum punch while my wife had Pina Colada. Finally the food. Everything was delicious. I had the pan fried snapper in garlic sauce. My wife had the conch in the same garlic sauce. We both had 2 sides which were both excellent. Then carrot cake and coconut candy for desert! Service was unhurried and friendly. We spent roughly 2 hours here for lunch. Final comment, try the hot sauce! It is delicious!

Spectacular spot on a pier in crystalline turquoise waters with hummingbirds whooshing and hovering as you feast in the shade of the thatched roof eating areas. If you like coconut batter, you have found the right place as the lionfish and the shrimp that are slathered with it will ensure you leave with a full stomach. Scraps left over, no problem! They get pushed off the plate into the water where 100s of fish and crabs swarm to feed on them. Awesome onion rings.

La Sirena was a perfect mix of good food with a quintessential Caribbean vibe. Just down the road from Camp Bay Beach, the restaurant is perched over the ocean with table inside as well as on the covered deck. We had a plate of Lionfish, both plain and coconut crusted, which was cooked perfectly and very flavourful. We shared our lunch with the resident hummingbirds who flock to the feeders on the tables. La Sirena is the perfect way to soak up the best of Roatan over food and drink!

This place is just amazing. A must check out if you're in the area. Even if you're just stopping in for a beer. Little slice of heaven

Restaurant by the beach, service was good, food was very good. Outdoor seating available, beach bar, TVs, kids menu. Located on the grounds of Grand Roatan Hotel.

The first time I went, I had the chicken tacos. They give you four, corn tortillas filled with chicken, lettuce, a piece of grilled Honduran cheese and chipotle mayo. They had pretty good flavor. The chicken quesadillas with red beans were just OK. I think they charred too much of the outside so they had a bit of a “burnt” flavor.

We've been staying here and loving their included breakfast. It's a hot buffet with omelette station and the food has been really excellent. They've got amazing fresh fruit, pancakes and french toast, Honduran staples like beans, fried plantains, scrambled eggs and fresh cheese, also Chobani yogurts, fresh bread for toast, and a few other things that rotate each day. And again an omelette station and sometimes made to order baleadas as well. I'd be surprised if it's not the best breakfast you'll find in the region. We decided to try lunch and that was great too. We had the Honduran churrasco and their club sandwich, both delicious.

Disappointed. 3.5 stars. We tried the ceviche, ,burger, creamy seafood pasta, kids Mac and cheese, kabobs and seafood medley dish, bean dip., seabass. They look nice but nothing tasted right, quality of the burger was sub par, dish seasoning was off...except the ceviche, bean dip, fried snapper and seafood medley. For example...the sea bass was 2 small thin fillets, lightly breaded, with fake mashed potatoes and a side of sauce. I was expecting a nice thick fillet, sauted in a pan with a cream sauce over it...The service was good but I rarely saw the real executive chef. The drinks were tasty. All foods cooked by cooks. The keylime pie and chocolate cake were good. It's a beautiful and peaceful spot but expected much better. Other restaurants look crowded on West bay so this is the spot for a quiet meal.

The resort manager was very territorial and rude. One of the staff said I could sit on the sand in front of their bar, but the manager told me I had to sit elsewhere or sit at the bar and order drinks. I did the latter, not long after finishing my drink the manager had told his staff to harass me to order food. I told them I was waiting a bit for it to be lunch time to order food. Apart from the pushy manager, the staff were lovely (just trying to please their boss) and the food was decent. But what a negative experience over all to have whilst on holiday!

The Executive Chef here, Ezra, is PHENOMENAL. He goes above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing dining experience. The food was SO GOOD. We ate here twice. And the views?! Are you kidding?! Beachfront, stunning sunsets, crystal waters, white sands - total perfection. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is part of the Grand Roatan Resort at the south end of West Bay. It faces the water and is open air so it has great views. The breakfast buffet, though not particularly large in terms of diversity of options, was great and also they can set up dinner on the beach. One of my travel companions caught two tuna fish on a fishing trip that morning and the restaurant cooked the tuna three different ways and served it to us for dinner; it’s clear they go out of their way to please their customers.

Had an excellent Sunday brunch and bottomless mimosas! The food was great and the service very good. We went to the beach afterwards and we were able to use their beach chairs and umbrellas without an additional charge. Bonus is - you can park at Mayan Princess at no charge also. We will definitely go back!

San Simón Beach Club has truly perfected the Sunday brunch experience. The food is absolutely amazing — the ceviche is incredibly fresh and delicate, bursting with flavor. The mini waffles make for a great little appetizer, and the quesadillas are an immaculate breakfast choice, perfectly prepared and satisfying. The bottomless mimosas are another highlight — with multiple fruit juice selections, they add the perfect element to a relaxed, island-style brunch. Combine that with the beautiful beachfront atmosphere, and you have one of the best brunch spots in Roatán. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the beach with reserved loungers, umbrellas and tables. The unlimited drinks were delicious with a full drink menu. Beach massage was so relaxing. Clean beach. The five course dinner was delicious and served with great presentation. We highly recommend this for a day of relaxation.

This place is gorgeous and right on the water. They did a great job with the decor. We came here on a weekday so it wasn’t too busy. Our server was really friendly and helpful. If you’re staying in West Bay and you want to try different dishes I definitely recommend coming here. The reason why I’m giving the restaurant 4 starts instead of 5 is because my salmon was overcooked but the flavors were really good.

This place was absolutely amazing. Wonderful service and fantastic food. Definitely recommend making reservations for dinner. The atmosphere was so relaxing. We came back again for the summer and the menu has changed! Still just as good, portions seem a little smaller but still great service and good food.

this place is horrendous. food took ages to come from kitchen and was cold, received attitude when spoke to waiter about it. atmosphere kind of mid and owner seemed too up himself. definitely not worth the hype or money, will not return

Despite offering fine dining quality, nothing I saw on the menu was over $30, making it an excellent option even for those on a budget. The ambiance is beautiful and soothing, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable meal. If you’re visiting Roatan, this place is a must-try. You won’t be disappointed! Bonus tip: They allow you to bring your own liquor for a small corkage fee of just $10 — a very reasonable option that adds to the overall value. !

GO HERE FOR THE ATMOSPHERE ALONE. Do you want to escape the chaos, noise and sand of the beach restaurants? Go to Naboo! (Adults only, no kids allowed). As soon as we sat down at a table right next to the beautiful swimming pool, we knew we had found an amazing restaurant. Naboo is clean, with great people and service. Food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Particularly enjoyed the Pasta Primavera in Alfredo sauce. I also really liked the Chocolate Salami (chocolate log, see picture). Due to excellent architecture, there was also a very comfortable breeze each of the three times we went to Naboo. Shaded, breezy, quiet & comfortable! July, 2025.

Naboo is undeniably one of West Bay's most visually appealing restaurants — modern-coastal, and inviting, with an ambiance that sets high expectations. Our lunch began on a strong note with their ceviche: fresh, bright and citrusy, a confident start that showcased the kitchen’s potential. The main courses, however, revealed some inconsistencies. The lobster tail was cooked just right (great flavor), but the accompanying shrimp were a little overdone (chewy). The steak, served with a red wine reduction, came slightly overcooked (I ordered 3/4), and the sauce lacked harmony, it overpowered the meat. What truly disappointed, though, was the mashed potatoes, felt/tasted artificial, a boxed flavor stood out — not what I would expect from a nice place like Naboo. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Naboo has flair, but needs to focus more on quality and consistency to match its beautiful setting.

Now this is the place to go if you are looking for good vegetarian options. All the food was amazing, the service was good and the prices were fair, given the location. Of course, they have a large menu, and not everything is vegetarian. We wanted to go back bit ran out of time. Stayed local and this was only a small walk away. It's a bit hidden, we found it while exploring the area.

Such a great experience! The waiter was so nice and funny! The beach view was beautiful from all angles of the restaurant, the meal was to die for!! Everything was so good, the steak, the carbonara, green beans, pineapple ravioli!! 10/10 recommend, everyone in our six person group loved it! I recently visited Roatan on a solo trip and stumbled upon this absolute gem — Sea Salt. From the moment I arrived, Petra, my server, made me feel right at home with her warm and friendly personality. She even crafted the best espresso martini I’ve ever had — smooth, balanced, and unforgettable. The food was just as incredible as the atmosphere. The grilled octopus, paired with kidney beans, was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and such a unique combination. And for dessert, the pineapple ravioli was truly to die for — light, refreshing, and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. As if the food and service weren’t enough, the view is breathtaking. Watching the sunset melt into the horizon over the beach was an experience in itself. Between the gorgeous setting, world-class service, and unforgettable dishes, Sea Salt isn’t just a place for dinner — it’s the spot in Roatan. Don’t miss it!

Incredible experience. Terrific food and outstanding service. Lovely setting and location - sunset views. Appreciated the amuse bouche and the after dinner cocktail. Our group had lobster pasta, grilled octopus, ceviche, beef carpaccio, and grilled hogfish. For dessert, pineapple ravioli using shaved pineapple for the wrapper. Every single dosh was outstanding. Cannot recommend more. We were pleased to discover this on our last night on the island, but disappointed that we didn't discover it early enough to eat there every night.

Just left here for my birthday dinner and it’s one of the most special meals I’ve ever experienced. Our waiter Elvis was the best. I’ll have dreams about the ceviche and chocolate surprise dessert for the rest of my days.

Let me tell you, finding this restaurant was quite the adventure, but totally worth it. The food was delicious, and I’d even say the service was better! The place is gorgeous, with a great vibe, water views, and a pool to chill by. Yeah, it’s a bit pricey, but it 100% delivers. We ordered a bunch of dishes, and honestly, they were all amazing. The octopus and tartar were hits, I loved the carpaccios, and the steaks? Really good stuff. The desserts were super interesting—definitely try the pineapple ravioli. Yummm! Big shoutout to Omar and Elvis for their awesome service—you guys made the night even better!

I was on my honey moon and this was the best dinner experience I’ve ever had. The service was outstanding, Elvis and Omar were exceptional. This food was Michelin Star caliber and deserves to be on the list. The food from the starters, entrees, and sides were packed with flavor. Will be coming back with more friends and family. The food was delicious! You will not regret it along with the view. We had 3 alcoholic beverages, 1 fabulous coffee, 2 appetizers and 2 main meals and the cost was right at 90$.

We went here today and this restaurant is definitely one of the best here in Roatan. Honduras. The ambiance is serene and with a beautiful view of the ocean while you’re dining. The service is superb and the waiter Neil is the best. He made our dining experience amazing. The food is fantastic. I ordered the pork islandah which was cooked to perfection served on top of a guacamole and a mild spicy sauce i lt, this remonds me of a dish we have back home called lechon kawali but on another level. My Girlfriend ordered the “whole fish” which was also cooked to perfection served with brown rice and mashed plaintain. Overall the price is reasonable and I won’t hesitate to comeback here again on our next visit.

Just a few minutes walk from the port and the food was delicious and the views are amazing! Alejandro was our server and he made the best suggestions. I had the ceviche and my husband had the Charrusco steak! All the sides were delicious and our drinks were even better than the food!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Roatàn, Honduras. Located only 3 mins away from the port, it features a good ambiance, with a nice view of the port and amazing service. I ordered the Whole fish, tipical from the island, which was delicious while my partner ordered the Islandah. We also tried the truffle fries with whole skin. Really crunchy and mouth-watering. The waiter, Neio was amazing and took great care of us with a genuine smile. It wasn't busy, so that is a plus, since all we wanted was a nice place where to relax.

Not a far walk from the cruise port. Amazing service, food, and drinks! We snorkeled off the dock behind the restaurant for the afternoon while still getting drinks and appetizers. There's some really cool coral off the shore right there!

Very sweet and friendly service. I had their creamy garlic shrimp - delicious. My husband had their jerk chicken - really good. He absolutely loved the beans and rice side. Drinks were well made.

Stopped for key lime pie as sign advertised it was 6$. Asked for a slice to go. Was charged 1$ extra for the box?!? Had I known I would have eaten it there. Very small portion for the price. Will not go back. One of the only restaurants in Roatan that charges food tax (which is good).

The 3 grilled lobster tails on Monday special were perfect, definitely worth it. We wanted to order the Beacher's Grilled Seafood Combo, but we were four people so we added the lobster tail special and it was enough food to satisfy the 4 of us and everyone was happy. The beans and rice were yummy because they made it with coconut and the shrimp also tasted like coconut. Overall I'd definitely return for the amazing food.

Loved this place. View was awesome as you are right on the water. Happy hour was 2-5 so drinks are 2 for 1. Fried sea bass was so tasty. My only minor complaint was the service was a little slow. We sat with empty drinks for a while, then I actually had to call the young waitress over to order another round. However, we’ll still go back, especially if we’re around during happy hour.

The perfect combination of gorgeous scenery and delicious food. I loved that they had options for everyone. I being the vegan/vegetarian of the family was really happy with the Vegetable Tempura, Cauliflower, and what may have been the best veggie burger on the island. My wife found some fried snapper that she loved, my mom got a salad and my daughter had plenty of options in the kids menu. What made the place even better was the pool. My daughter stayed in the pool until she was ready to eat. We had a great view of her so we weren’t worried about her swimming alone. The beach access is also awesome. Great service as well. Overall one of the most beautiful spots you can eat and relax at on the island. Lots of food options for vegetarians, kids, and carnivores alike. Oh and great drinks poured with a heavy hand!

The Cove is a 10/10! The place itself is gorgeous with a beautiful beachfront and pool. The food and drinks are made with love and to your liking. We had Easter brunch, lunch, and dinner here during our stay and all of it was delicious. The kitchen even cooked up some of the wahoo my husband caught and it was literally the best fish I've ever eaten! (Picture attached). Most importantly though, are the people. Richard, Lissa, and Junior make this place what it is. They are all super friendly, knowledgeable about their island, and treat you like family. Thank you to all of you for our amazing time at The Cove! I highly recommend this place!

Excellent service from Lisa, great lemonade, tasty food (sesame-encrusted ahi tuna, tuna potstickers, and shrimp avocado crostinis). The only downside was some flying bugs, but spray was quickly provided.

I first came to The Cove, located in the Palmetto Bay Community, almost a year ago while looking for a property on the island.....with Palmetto Bay being one of the areas in consideration. That day, the realtor and I had two appetizers and a drink each.....all delicious....and the setting was amazing. The open-air restaurant, with the community pool in front and situated right on a gorgeous beach, really helped seal the deal. Since then, I've had many (if not most) things on the menu. All are quite good - some are great - and there is something to suit most any taste or budget. If you want a tasty sandwich or a more sophisticated meal, The Cove has it. - Whether by car or boat, come and enjoy this gem....just part of what Palmetto Bay has to offer. 12/4/23 Edit: Another great meal at The Cove today. Had the Tzatziki Chicken Burger (quality ground chicken & veggie burger patty, served with lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce).....flavorful and delicious, with a side of perfectly cooked fries. And the service from Fabricio was great! All in a beautiful beachside setting at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

First time here, the food was delicious and plentiful. I ordered the hamburger - it's a 1/2 lb. Very good, came with all the trimmings, and french fries on the side. My husband ordered the Bass Fish fillet. The fish was breaded well, and came with steamed veggies and a baked potato. Each dish was only $16. The view is awesome and the staff friendly.

The waitress didn’t write down our order and it ended up being wrong but it worked out. What we ordered - 2 skillets 1 French toast What we got - 1 skillet 1 omelette 1 French toast. My bf ended up just eating the omelette and I will say it was bigger than the skillet. Sadly my skillet was oily & greasy. The potatoes weren’t that good. I had better elsewhere on the island. The iced coffee was good I got a vanilla coffee with chocolate drizzle. I would come back but wouldn’t get the skillet. It’s very nice inside and the workers were nice.

My favorite coffee place in Roatan. You’ll be delighted to find this cozy place filled with a collection of mugs, hot coffee, delicious desserts, well-prepared food, lots of smiles and an excellent service. Great breakfast and lunch options!

This was the only restaurant that we visited twice on the island! The breakfast is so good here. The baleadas were delicious and the coffee was amazing! Luisa and Nely took great care of us!

Gilei’s is such an amazing place where you feel like home with staff who treats you like family ❤️ the food is Great in every way, they never disappoint. Each dish I have had is so Delicious.

This is my go-to lunch spot between appointments when in French Harbour. The Quinoa Power Bowl is fresh & delish! And they even have a delivery service to bring it to me at the salon! Nice touch.

I would recommend ANYONE to try this place FIRST before the rest of the island restaurants. After almost a month in the island, I have never had such a nice service as I had here. Jessica and Luisa have such a beautiful energy that gets you as soon as you put your foot in GiLei's. The same vibrant and delightful energy came in our plates... I ordered the thin avocado toast and my husband had a mollete, both AMAZING. We both had a healthy non-sugared green smoothie, freshly prepared. We visited on a Friday, which seems to be the perfect day to try their pastry. Fridays is 2x1 pastry so we tried the German chocolate cake and cinnamon roll. Although I was not a fan of either, I think they a great with their freshly prepared food. We also had cappuccino and black coffee, both fresh and delicious.

Tacos were really good, Ceviche was average especially based on the name, shrimp and crab combo was good, although we had no claws in ours 🤷‍♂️. Was still really good. Sausage and corn were also good with it.

Me and my friends/family visited for dinner and it was a flavourful explosión! Everything from the onion rings with the sauces, the ceviches and the ribs was 10/10. Atmosphere was delightful, calm and entertaining with the board games provided. My only observation is that some dishes took 30 mins more the others to come out. I will come back for the food still.

Highly highly recommend this restaurant. We liked it so much we had to go twice. Ceviche options are so fresh and unique. I recommend getting the trio and trying a few different options. First night we tried the Peruano, tropical, and traditional. All three were great. Second night I stuck with the peruano which was a clear favorite for me. My wife loved the sea food boil. Great flavors and was far more than she could eat. Fun restaurant with outstanding service away from the busy west end but still a very easy drive. They have hired security in the evening so you can park and eat with no worries though the area did seem very safe regardless. Had different fresh juice options each day too. Was a little disappointed they ran out of key lime pie but the cheese cake was still very good.

The food is incredible! To be honest, some of the best dishes we've eaten on the island in 4 years traveling to Roatan! Fast and kind service!!! We ordered so many items on the menu (Parrillada Familiar, Tacos Mixtos, and Ceviche Sampler - Cameron Viva Mexico, Island Ceviche + Aguachile) and all the dishes were fantastic! Fresh ingredients and deep flavor. The meat was high quality, tender, and the flavor was smoky and delicious. The ceviches, salsa, and beans are clearly made with love! My kids devoured the food - they are adventurous eaters and appreciated quality food vs stereotypical "kid" food. We can't wait to order again! BRAVO!!!

The food was absolutely perfect in every way. The shrimp tacos and birria tacos were amazing. The portion size of the parrillada personal was huge and everything on it was delicious. The staff was friendly and the service was very fast. We could not have had a better experience!

The environment is cool and refreshing. We sat on the second floor and we ordered the peruano ceviche to start off the night. We were a party of six so we ordered la parrillada familiar and it was really good. The meats were fresh and very flavorful. All the meats were on a bed of tajadas which my wife said were really good. Remember anytime you eat outside of a resort in Roatan it’s most likely cash only. (No ATM on-site)

My dream breakfast and lunch spot!! The smoothies and smoothie bowls are divine! Try the Pretty in Pink and you won’t be disappointed :) Don’t miss stopping here while staying in West End!

You have to be confident about your produce to name your place CRISP in a tropical climate and they don’t disappoint. I had been eating too much fried food and really needed a healthy salad. I chose the Thai salad and was very pleased. The peanut dressing was delicious and the greens and veggies were super fresh, and of course, crisp! I added chicken which was marinated and tender but they had lots of protein options including a katsu tofu that I almost ordered. If I ever come back to Roatan I will definitely eat here again. The place was decorated with a cute mashup of prints and original art that works beautifully together and the chill contemporary music made for an all around lovely lunch experience.

The restaurant is cute and the service friendly. However, we paid $18 for a poke bowl with tuna that was well past its prime and no amount of soy sauce was going to cover it up.

The food was great. Such a nice change of pace from the standard dishes everywhere else. They try really hard to please. The drinks are equally as delicious as the food. Perhaps some window decals might help, so inside diners are not staring directly at diners outside. Please print and post a Spanish language menu. The interior ambiance is very artsy and warm. I had a quinoa Buddah bowl (no cheese) and hubby had a Poke bowl and spring rolls. Very fresh. I had the Choco Mountain smoothie and hubby had the Reset pressed Juice and he had the Wake Me up shot. Our first time to Roatan was simply amazing! Crisp was the first restaurant that we had went in the west end area and the food and drinks were very fulfilling. The service was great and the people were very helpful and friendly. Loved the hospitality.

Great service. The restaurant is tucked into a corner of a mall-type building. Very clean and comfortable. We had a Buddha Bowl with crisp-fried tofu, which was wonderful and a couple of salad rolls, also great. It was refreshing to have some nicely prepared fresh food. Not cheap, but nothing is on Roatan.

We stopped in for a late lunch and we were the only customers which made us a bit concerned. We both ordered a drink and a meal from our very prompt waitress. While waiting for our meal we enjoyed the festive music, the beautiful view and the amazing tropical breeze. Our lunch was fantastic and we will definitely come back again to try something else on their wonderful menu.

Delicious local cuisine! This was recommended by many locals. Our tour guide stopped by this place and recommended a few things to us. My boyfriend ordered the fish burger, our guide ordered chicken wings, and I ordered coconut shrimp. They were easily the best coconut shrimp I have ever eaten. We tried the conch fritters, and they were delicious. Everything was served with a sweet white sauce. I enjoyed the authenticity of the flavors prepared for us. My boyfriend attempted to order the monkey lala, but unfortunately, it sounds extremely similar to another drink on the menu, and the server mixed it up. We ended up getting a very spicy drink. Yes, spicy. It literally tasted like a bottle of hot sauce. The guide was kind enough to explain to the server in their language what happened, and he ended up getting a rum punch to swap it with. The view from the tables was astonishing. Gorgeous restaurant!

GREAT experience. We prefer chill, laid back island atmosphere with real island food and people. Table order, setting is beautiful, right on the water, not too swimmable, but there is actually a nice pool and deck for customers. Ceviche was perfect, snapper was delicious, coconut shrimp spot on, daughter even said her burger was good. Food was good as any we had on the island and the prices were much better. Staff very friendly. We were there in-between lunch and dinner, so no cruise ship crowds. Kids and parents want to go back!

Toured in from RCL from the USA. Very friendly service. Good prices too in USD. Tacos were good, I wouldn't say the best ever but definitely good for the price. Also decent beer and mixed drinks too for a fair price. EXCELLENT views out to the reef!

Awesome atmosphere, very clean, friendly staff, clean restrooms, great view, tasty food, and a pool! The entranceway was a little rough so we were pleasantly surprised to find such a well put together place! I spent a few hours with my group of 5 and we received excellent service - I would definitely recommend this spot!

Had a delicious lunch there. We ordered the fritter plate and the fish stick plates. The conch fritters were delicious. The fish was very flakey and tasty. The fritter plate comes with plantains - we substituted french fries and pico de gallo. The fish came with french fries and a little bit of coleslaw. The view was great and if it's a hot day they have a pool for your use also.

We stopped here as part of an excursion through NCL cruise line. We got to see a dance which was very enjoyable. Then had time to spent at the restaurant and beach. It was pouring rain so I stayed in the restaurant. Got nachos and salsa for $6 US.

A great place to enjoy a meal, drink, snack, etc., but not when the cruise ships are docked, stay away that day! The amount of people that come in is really way way too much for the restaurant, staff, amenities, etc!! Something I've not ever witnessed before! On Sunday evenings there's live music & open to the locals, lots of fun! Food is good, service is ok, lots of shade & loungers.

I came here as part of a shore excursion from a cruise. It is a lovely little beach with a lot of nice amenities. I would like to come back when I can have more time to truly enjoy the beach, and the services.

Our tour ended on this little beach! I had a snack and a drink and then started exploring. I took a walk down a board walk and ran into a beautiful Mayan statue garden. Found lots of dead coral on the beaches but all the people I met were so nice and helpful!

A relaxing place for a break from the ship. We came here after an excursion while on a cruise and had a great meal and service. I recommend the Salva Vida beer if you like Mexican-style lagers. They also have pineapple and coconut drinks. We had quesadillas and fajitas. All of them were awesome.

Waitress came to get my drink and food order, my drink arrived after about 10 minutes. I ordered the chicken fajitas, but after 50 minutes, my food never arrived and I had to leave due to my tour bus departing. Several tables that came after I arrived all got their food. Severely disappointed since everyone else got to eat but me. Now I'm still starving on the way back to my cruise ship.

I arrived at the Port in Roatan from the Norwegian Breakaway Cruise Ship. The people were so friendly and the island was so beautiful. I hope to be able to go back there and stay for a week or two to explore the island and photograph

We a nice relaxing time here. Plenty of seating, both in the sun and some shade. The giant hammocks and the swim up tiki huts in the water were really cool. It did get a little crowded when folks from another boat showed up. But they all inclusive food and drinks were abundant.

A perfect dining experience at Sol y Mar. My recent visit to Roatan, took me to Sol y Mar and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. If you're looking for a combination of stunning views, fantastic food, and top-notch service, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is truly great. We timed our visit to catch the sunset, and it was magical. The dining and outdoor patio offer an unobstructed, panoramic view of the beach, and the sound of the waves created a wonderfully peaceful backdrop for our meal. The decor is elegant yet relaxed, with beautiful coastal-inspired touches.

Beautiful place to swim and enjoy sun! Not huge but peaceful with good facilities! Water was clear not like port(lots of algae) . security will allow at the gate for only resort guest .

We visited Sol Y Mar as part of a Norwegian Cruise Line excursion. Beautiful water and beach. The resort was out of power upon arrival which only effected the food that was prepared which was subpar. But our server was phenomenal and kept me in supply of my unlimited drinks. Go for the mai tai! Absolutely would come here again!

Pretty nice place. Scheduled snack time and scheduled buffet. Food was good. Drinks were good and all inclusive with our package. The lounge chairs were filthy and this is my biggest complaint. Literally filthy. Had to clean off dirt and spilt food. Nice beach.

Just came for a swim and lounging on the amazing water hammocks. Peter is a great server, such a friendly, genuine presence and we loved the chill ambiance: Peter helped us when we needed something, otherwise they left us enjoy the water and didn’t bother us. Conch soup is amazing, can’t stop thinking about it. Oh, be careful of the no-see-ums, you will leave there beach with some bright red bites for sure (but conch soup is worth it).

Friendly staff, Eduardo out tour guide was awesome. Great bartenders , we would definitely visit again!

Ah where to start. An absolutely ideal location. This place met all our expectations and then some. The staff from the very off were brilliant. They are so chill and keep the common areas very clean. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful rental close enough to West End's businesses to take a short walk to, yet far enough away to be isolated from the noise and crowds. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The view from our unit (French Harbor) was amazing. Should we return to West End, we will not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a fantastic week staying at Cocolobo in the Mangrove room. From the views off the balcony to the insuite kitchenette, we wanted for nothing. The pool was lovely and there is a lively culture of the guests watching the sunset together every night. The breakfast was lovely and Cheryl was able to help with anything we needed, even coordinating transportation for us. The location itself is wonderful, a short walk to town, but removed enough to feel peaceful and away from it all.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Cocolobo and absolutely loved it! The rooms were comfortable and spacious and had the loveliest view of the sunset in the evening. Gail greeted us when we arrived and was very kind and attentive to any questions I had. Misa and Yohana were also both very nice and cooked the most delicious banana bread! I think this resort is best suited for those who enjoy a little privacy on their vacation. The location was perfect for quick access to the town of West End, while still being far enough to stay quiet in the evening. We stayed in the Paya Bay Suite, which is located on the edge of the property. It felt like we had a little section of the property all to ourselves, although this could also be due to us travelling during low season as well. We will definitely stay again the next time we travel through Roatan!

Cocolobo with Cheryl and her amazing staff could not have been more perfect for us! Clean rooms, clean property, great dipping pool to cool off with beautiful sunset views each night. Each breakfast was different fresh and wonderful. Nice and quiet with an easy walk into town for whatever you desire. We will be back!

Gorgeous pool overlooking the ocean, shaded maybe half the day. Great rooms with screened in porches, AC in the bedrooms, modern kitchens, washer dryer, good beds, nice bathrooms, and very cool carpentry touches. Cheryl is an excellent host and a great "fixer" - for real, she can hook you up with drivers, outings and advice.

We loved our stay here! We decided to rent one of the lodges which is away from the water but you still have access to the pools and have your own lounge/kitchen area. The screened in outdoor porch was lush. Cheryl, the guest manager was super helpful and fast to respond on email/Whatsapp. We also enjoyed that the resort was a bit outside of town but still a 5-10 minute walk to all the good spots!

Can not beat the beach area, no one bothers you and they make great drinks, bathrooms, showers, chairs and a dock. It’s a little further down and almost like your own private beach for the day! The owners great and really wants to make sure his customers are taken care of!

If you get stuck in west end on cruise ship day, come on down to sunset bar because most of the cruisers don’t walk down this far, so you can have a quiet spot to hang out. Spenser is great along with the rest of the team. The sunset is beautiful and the food is good. Don’t miss out on this spot.

An interesting place that blasts anything from disco to rap with neon lights as early as 8am until who knows - maybe it goes 24/7! Stopped by in the afternoon for a beer and sat on the dock - great view and great breeze.

We loved Sunset Sports Bar. Do yourself a favor and try the local drink - the Monkey Lala. So good! The fish and shrimp tacos were awesome. Omar constantly checked on us and the other visitors that day. The beach area was beautiful too! Our favorite stop!

Perfect place with the perfect atmosphere. Totally made my vacation all the more worth it. Lovely staff and amazing food 😍 😋. My friend & I book The Land & Sea excursions for memories sakes. We got to explore the island hot spots, take some of the best scenary shots ever & go snorkeling on the 2nd largest reef system, see the mangroves, hear the monkeys in the trees & see the Dolphins. We had the opportunity to relax & lounge at the most beautiful Sunset Beach ⛱️ I have ever seen. Vacation 2023 has been marked in the books & will never be forgotten. Hope to visit again sometime. It definitely was an experience of a life time with the most amazing views to admire

Probably the best bar with the most chill vibe, at the beginning of west end the bars are too roudy with too many young people displaying their machismo, but at sunset bar at the end of west end , you can find the party beach vibe you'd expect from roatan, great music, great service, food is at least above average but it could be better. Highly recommend

Front of house, cigar shop was great. As someone who smokes 100+ cigars a year Bruce still made a good recommendation. Out back met some locals and they were very friendly, had a ton of fun, will be back during my stay here.

For the island, decent selection of cigars. You can also get a drink or a beer there!! Wonderful staff. Highly recommend!!

Great staff. Strange looks from the regulars hanging out as you enter, which is wierd. So far the only good cigar I've gotten here has been the Oscars, which magically is more here than in the US, even though it's a Honduras made stick. Overall, cigar purchases on this island has been a huge disappointment, but this may be the best you can get. There is a rum distillary on the island that sells rum cigars, which are not bad, burn terrible but priced reasonably...

Made a visit there part of every night we were on the island. Great group to hang out with and very relaxing atmosphere. Even if u don’t smoke cigars, stop in for a beer or 12.

Good variety of rocky patels, a few alec and liga privada and others. Cigars are well maintained. Opens at noon, although the door seems shut every time I pass by.

Normal food, the taste is just simply regular, but the attention is horrible, so just go there if you need to waste your time and have some drinks, avoid the lady with the big glasses, she goes out of his way to give you a bad time. Larry & Luey’s is one of the best bars on the island. Food is Okay, drinks are good the atmosphere is awesome. Hang out before your flight, after your flight or picking up friends.

Very expensive and horrible. Ordered a basket of 6 wings and fries. Came out in a tiny basket and was the equivalent of something you would make at home in your microwave and that should cost no more than $5. Cost was $15 which would be fine if the food was good but it was terrible.

I wouldn't spend another penny here..i sat down and an elderly man approached me as soon as i was seated and informed me..ivmust consume to sit here!! So i baught a coke. Then as i sat there cabbies began filing in to watch a soccer match..7 men surrounded me hooping and hollering about the game and not one baught a thing..pure discrimination!!
