I'm a really big fan of this place, it's nice and quiet. Drinks are affordable and they have a wide variety to cater for everyone. There's also food which I have not tried yet but I'm yet to do so when I'm in the City again. Hopefully it'll be something worth eating.

Nestled within the vibrant EastPark Mall, Bombay Lounge is a delightful haven for Indian cuisine enthusiasts. This restaurant prides itself on consistently delivering exceptional dishes crafted to order, ensuring each meal is fresh and flavorful. Guests rave about favorites like tandoori chicken, dal tadka, and the indulgent cheese naan—a true rarity! The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between classy indoor dining and an inviting outdoor space, although occasional rain showers may limit al fresco enjoyment.
Food, drinks, service and staff were good.

Taste is very nice also they have varieties. Best for dinner dates & family get together
Prathmesh C — Google review
Their food is okay, average. The food didn't taste fresh. I had their biriyani. It tasted like it was old and they just reheated it. The silverware was dirty and I had to ask for clean ones. The table clothes were stained. Lots of flies in the restaurant.
Dainess S — Google review
Food was great. Service was good. It was a fantastic evening with friends.
Rob B — Google review
One of the best Indian food I've ever ate! The service was very good.
Stefana T — Google review
Good food, 'classy ambience both in restaurant & outside at 'East Park mall'. Short but incessant rain shower 'closed down outside sitting area' despite being covered.
Yashvantbhai P — Google review
I dunno what I ate but it was not great. I asked the staff what is in the chefs special and she seemed dumb and did not tell me what was in the food. For all she knows I’m allergic to nuts and she just put them on my plate. On top of that I asked for chicken fried rice and got veg. Last of all me and my gf felt like throwing up so we didn’t finish the food and gave it to the homeless. Don’t eat here unless you know what your buying. P.S My last experience here was great (at Garden city). This time it did not live up to my expectations. Also the juice was cheap quality, unlike last time it was nice.

The Hussar Grill at East Park Mall offers an upscale dining experience with an award-winning wine selection to complement their perfectly aged steaks. Guests can enjoy the option of bringing their own wine without corkage fees and can choose from a variety of seating options, including a private section for groups. While prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the steak and overall ambiance make it worth it.
Nice place..... To spent quality time.. Neat and clean calm. Wonderful interior design.. Vintage look.. Coffee was perfect.. ☕ Service okay okay not to fast not to slow. A Bit expensive... Wonderful outdoor sitting
Kuldeep S — Google review
Nice place. I decided to sit inside as it was a really hot day. The staff are very friendly. However there was a dirty fork and a dried piece of bacon 🥓 NOT COOL. Everything was nice apart from my starter how does a Resturant get flash fried Calamari wrong it was like eating pork crackles. My main was quite nice it could have done with more garnish but I was cooked to perfection. As for my dessert Chocolate Foundant it was amazing. Recommendation: the staff should at least try everything on the menu so that if a customer asks they have an answer.
Taz — Google review
Best steak I have had so far (I keep saying this when I go somewhere new haha). It was tender and nicely prepared. The mashed potato however was blunt, it was not seasoned all whatever but the steak made up for it. The prices are a bit on the higher side but it's worth it!

Golf club
Lusaka Golf Club is a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts and travelers alike. This well-maintained course offers an inviting atmosphere, complete with friendly caddies who provide valuable advice to players, especially those navigating the course for the first time. The greens are in excellent condition, making it a pleasure to play. After your round, unwind at the clubhouse or enjoy refreshments at the 19th hole bar, where attentive waitstaff ensure a delightful experience.
The caddies are well mannered, patience and well respectful especially that I had a colleague who was playing the course for the first time. The caddy would give advice wherever possible on what club to use to hit the ball. The course is well kept, and the greens are up to standard. This after days when the ZANACO Masters were played. The club house and the bar (hole 19) are just perfect for relaxation. The waiters are well dressed, and their service is great. Nice experience to have played at this golf course.

Great place, friendly stuff, lots of fun rides for kids
Pee-jay M — Google review
It's such a wasted opportunity, this place can be by far the best in Zambia yet they leave it to be dilapidated with no sense of direction, the staff don't speak English. The bones is great but needs a proper manager and it could be 7stars
Christo N — Google review
Nice place for adults to have fun
Åmshaban — Google review
This park has a very big potential to be turned into a nice chill place, unfortunately not so much has been done to the place. It’s a wonderful place for little kids but if you are a parent or an adult you will definitely not have much to do there .
Eve M — Google review
I actually really liked it .. One of the most underrated places in Lusaka... It deserves more recognition...yes it's not the best maintained place but it's really clean and family friendly.. the staff is really friendly ... If you are wondering where to take your family out.. you should definitely check this place out...
Adarsh B — Google review
What a waste, they charge you 80 kwacha even the small kids yet their machines don't even work. Only one machine works. We ddnt enjoy anything. Jus sitting and eatin our own food. Nothing amusing there. You really need to change your environment and make it a fun place esp for kids. Paid a lot of money for my family but we ddnt enjoy anything. Even the tents are dirty, while eating food leaves and insects jus crawl into your food. Wish there was an option to rate zero.

#Social Munali is a popular spot in Lusaka, offering a vibrant atmosphere and a range of entertainment options. The venue features ice-cold draughts, flavorful sheesha, and screens soccer matches from top leagues. Guests can enjoy wood brick oven pizza and chicken wings while listening to DJ sessions playing hits from the 80s and 90s. It's an ideal place to unwind with great music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks.
Very good ambience , food comes so fast after an order 🤗 good cocktails and friendly staff. I love the place. Also they prepare our staple food with different types of relish like fish , T bone , chicken , beef and so many others

I recently visited Social Munali Restaurant with friends and had a great experience. The live music performance added to the ambiance, and the food was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. Overall, I'd recommend Social Munali for a fun night out with good food and music." Positive Aspects: - *Live Music*: The live music performance was fantastic and added to the atmosphere. - *Food Quality*: The food was flavorful and well-prepared. *Drinks*: The cocktails was nice, funny names and presentable.

I went to and it was such a horrible experience. I ordered NON SPICY tacos (which includes chili) and that was too hard for the staff to understand I obviously asked for them to take it back and they just brought the same plate back and took the chili sauce off and added bbq sauce how does that make any sense???? The chili was still on it too. Literally terrible experience and I would not recommend anyone else coming here the stuff was extremely rude about the situation too despite it being their mistake overall this is the first and last time I come here to eat.
Florence N — Google review
We went on Sunday and there was a Karaoke evening. A real treat! These voices were absolutely amazing 😍. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was delicious - the chef did a great paneer dish 👌 (made me miss India 😉).
Irena G — Google review
It is a very interesting place(atmosphere wise), I think they calculated on the seating areas. There's a place for those who might just want to drink alcohol and be noisy, those that would prefer a quieter area maybe to work or just have a quiet lunch have their own spot and those that might want a huge gathering have their own side too. I was more captivated by that than anything else. The service was rather slow, whether it was the updates on the food or just bringing the drinks, we had to keep searching for a new waitron as all of them seemed to just be doing their own thing. The food was alright, I ordered fajitas which I thought would come already made but I was given the ingredients to make it myself and it turned out okay. The drinks were equally just okay.

Had lunch there had some chicken wings and fries, the food was fresh and nice prepared,I really enjoyed the garlic sauce it was tip top,the meal is so filling 😋 and I enjoyed myself.very spacious place offers both restaurant and bar so can have your friend in the big spacious area.

Performing arts theater
Lusaka Playhouse Business Centre is a hub for the performing arts in the city, showcasing riveting plays and lively musical performances. It's a perfect destination for culture enthusiasts and casual theatergoers alike. The building has stood the test of time, but there are suggestions for structural improvements to elevate its status as an entertainment center. Visitors have been impressed by the engaging performances and express excitement about returning for future shows.
Must go, Saturday evenings. Don't expect a punctual starting of the play. Enjoy the mood and relax!!
Piri M — Google review
A Shadow of Its Former Glory – Lusaka Playhouse in Urgent Need of Rescue ⭐☆☆☆☆ I visited Lusaka Playhouse recently and I’m deeply disappointed. Once a shining gem of live theatre in Zambia, it is now letting everyone (performers & visitors alike) down. The place is clearly very old and has been neglected — the toilets are dirty and damaged, the floor is uneven and unsafe, the roof leaks (or feels like it might), the car park is poorly maintained, and the bar/refreshment area looks run down. These are basic facilities that any entertainment venue should have, but Lusaka Playhouse seems to have let standards fall far below acceptable. It’s not just appearance — there’s a sense of decay, and visitors end up feeling disrespected. As someone who believed in the legacy of this theatre, it pains me to see it so poorly managed. ⸻ Suggestions / What Should Be Done: 1. Partnerships / Private Sector Involvement • The management should look for corporate partners, sponsors, philanthropists or NGOs who can invest in refurbishing the Playhouse. • Private companies with interest in arts, culture, or real estate could adopt the venue (or parts of it) and help with renovation, operations, or programming in exchange for naming rights, event revenues, etc. 2. Government or Municipal Support • Since it is a historic and cultural landmark (built in 1958) that once was central to Zambia’s theatre scene, the government or city council should allocate regular maintenance budgets. • Possible grants from cultural funds or arts councils should be accessed. The National Arts Council of Zambia is one such body. 3. Community Engagement & Ownership • Re-open membership or involvement opportunities for theatre groups, local artists, and the public so that there’s broader ownership of what happens there. This helps maintain relevance and perhaps raises funds or volunteer labour. • Form a committee or board that includes stakeholders (artists, neighbours, arts lovers, etc.) to decide on priorities like toilets, roof, seating, etc. 4. Transparency in Management & Planning • Clear, public plans & estimates for renovation (what needs fixing, how much it costs, how long it takes). • Accountability: if there are shareholders etc., let the public know what is happening, including regarding controversial plans (e.g., past proposal to convert the car park into a filling station was revoked after public outcry). 5. Phased Renovation Strategy • Start with essentials: plumbing & clean toilets, roof fixes to prevent leaks, floor safety. • Then move to aesthetic improvements: seats, lighting, bar, interior décor. • Use part of the venue for revenue generation to fund renovations, e.g. small concerts, community events, rentals. 6. Alternative Management Models • Perhaps lease management to a private cultural management company under agreed terms that preserve the theatre’s character but allow investment and professional running. • Or public-private partnership with the arts council or city to share costs & share profits. ⸻ Supporting Facts / Background: • The Lusaka Playhouse was built in 1958, and apparently it has never had a major renovation. • Its capacity is limited (≈ 250 seats), which means revenue is constrained. Without good maintenance, the small scale becomes a weakness. • There was a recent release of government funds (K1.5 million) for renovations, which shows recognition of the need. But that’s likely not sufficient for all the needed work. • In 2022, there was strong opposition to plans to lease part of its carpark to a filling station for 25 years — public concerns over preserving heritage and public utility won out and the permit was revoked. Today I again set my feet upon these premises. I came here with my family for a church meeting in room 2 and it was great to be tutored in the Holy scriptures by Pastor Samuel about Jonah.I was here more than a decade ago with Victor to watch UNZA Drama Group. in the main theatre. There is one thing about this old building, it appears that it was built to last. However, structural design and improvement should be made to this entertainment center to benefit the acclaim that Zambia is a middle income. Room 2 is well painted but the ceiling needs some maintenance. The flowers outside are keenly kept, thumbs up! This is an entertainment place that can use private and or public financing arrangement for the building to be renovated. Instead of waiting on government grants. It should not difficult to procure even venture capitalist funding because entertainment industry has great record of success and less risks. Go there and get the historical feel of the place, that feeling of what was then, the prime place for theatre in Zambia.

AMAZING PLACE FOR THE PRICE Visited this place twice, once with my wife for the couples massage and later alone. Its a very decent place, clean, serene as their name states. When we had the couples massage, they gave us the room which has an ensuite shower so you could easily shower after the massage (though they dont recommend that, as they say you need to keep the oils on you for them to work deeper). We had a good experience, the ladies know how to do their job professionally and they interact with you along the way. My 2nd experience seemed better than the first. I went for the deep tissue massage and gosh did I need it! Your body will feel very relaxed and way better, especially if you've had a stressful week. They are also very welcoming and friendly, quite a good customer experience you'll have. You'll find warm blankets waiting for you once you get to the massage room. I must say their rates are also very good, when you consider the location and service. I highly recommend!

Located on Omelo mumba road. Lovely and serene spa that offers different spa services among them massages, manicures, pedicures, facials and more. They also sell retail products like hydro flasks, face masks and many other face products. Had a lovely hot stone massage experience and eyebrow threading service. I have come to learn that hot stone massage is offered differently from spa to spa and gives a completely different experience. The staff were very friendly and professional. They were able to communicate how they offer certain spa services which is a plus just so you are well informed before they begin the whole process. One downside is the music during massages, more soothing music can be sourced for a more soothing experience with more instrumentals than singing. All in all, I had a great experience and was left well rejuvenated and relaxed at the end of it all.
Lucy C — Google review
The service was awesome. The massage was so relaxing I kept falling asleep throughout the session. Definitely will be coming back. The staff was brilliant. If you're on the hunt for an exhilarating climbing experience, look no further than Pa Mitengo Climbing & Calisthenics. This vibrant gym in Lusaka offers a welcoming atmosphere perfect for both beginners and seasoned climbers alike. As a first-timer, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how engaging and supportive the environment is. The friendly staff provides thorough guidance, ensuring you feel comfortable as you navigate your way through bouldering challenges.
Incredible bouldering gym in Lusaka, managed by an amazing team of coaches. Routes are regularly updated. Competitions for kids and adults every 3-4 months. Very reasonable pricing with rental shoes included. Structured kids classes on Saturday morning, and adult sessions on various week nights. Can’t say enough positive things about this place!!
Brandon J — Google review
As a first timer to something like this, I was definitely amazed by how involving and interesting this place was. The staff was very friendly and informative, I did not feel confused at all and I felt I was in very capable hands. The activity itself was something else, if you are not as "core" fit, this might take a little longer to get a hang of. You get basic training the first time and you have an instructor with you the whole time helping you learn your way around it so its not as scary/difficult. You are given free shoes or if you want new shoes you pay a k10. There is a kids area as well where they basically get the same thing(an instructor and a basic training session). Its convenient for those who want to work out without gym equipment through climbing and other exercises. Also convenient if you want to have your kids involved in an extracurricular activity. They have affordable prices listed for the services you need daily/monthly. Enjoyed my experience with them and I cant wait to try it out again, I'll be more prepared this time😉

A great gym in Lusaka! I highly recommend giving it a visit whether you are living here or just passing through. It's a very welcoming place and great for anyone curious about what bouldering is! It is also well priced at 75 kwacha for a visit, 600 for a month membership

Great bouldering wall. Expect some setup the first time (waiver and client setup) and a hood and helpful warmup and falling lesson (because youre going to fall... a lot!), but after that it is no problem to get going. Owners are super friendly, knowledgeable, and hands on. Equipment is in great shape (make the shoe donation!) and shoes are no extra cost. Good for kids, probably 8-9 years or older. Close to a Gigibonta for snacks and conveniently next to basic groceries and fuel.

Visited the Swirl bar located at Neelkanth Sarovar Premiere Hotel located on the second floor. Love the outdoor area by the pool overlooking the city. Love the decor and plants. Great range of mocktails and cocktails and friendly service. They also have live music on the weekends. Had a good time. Thank you.
Salmaan S — Google review
Not sure how their cocktails are but their beer selection is limited to local brews and one craft beer. The wine selection is mostly South African stock of reds and white. The atmosphere is chic, laid back most times. They pipe music (old school most times I’ve been here) but they also have live music Friday nights (never been). The crowd is diverse; locals and expat, ranges from between 20’s-60’s by my guess. Poolside, views are pretty cool; its a great spot ro catch the Lusaka sunset. Smoking is allowed so pick spoke thats upwind. The food is decent, nothing to write about but they do have an international menu so you’ll find familiar fare. Service staff are well trained but sometimes they I’ve found service a tad slow. Overall, they beat most other places.

Was served by Samuel in the Copper Pot and he was totally attentive and on point. I had the butter naan and garlic naan with butter chicken. I have a friend who couldn't stop talking about Grandaddy's Shoka Nyama, so I decided to check it out when I was in the area. The bar and grill has various seating areas that each offer a unique vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful in suggesting what to order. Although my friends and I weren't very hungry, we tried the wings and found them quite enjoyable.
My favorite thing at Granddaddy’s is their juicy chicken wings…I love the lemon and herb flavor, their T-bone is just as nice and tender. I recently tried their apple Freezo, and it was definitely something to write home about. The environment is kid-friendly from Monday to Thursday. Weekends are a different story, but still fun for the adult crowd. Being served by Juliet was such a delight!
Chileshe M — Google review
The atmosphere is retro themed with artifacts that seem authentically sourced... Like they really did come from the periods they're depicting; the quaint cast iron fire place, the sepia pictures, the ancient typewriter, just to name a few. As the name suggests, it was patronised by a lot of senior citizens and also a LOT of youngsters who were super loud and raucous. The music was continuously dulcet even as the evening wore in, I appreciated that. The crowd though... Eh... Too loud for my liking. I ordered the Chicken Burger 🍔 special, 8/10. It was delicious, drenched in a sweet and savoury sauce which, though was tasty, made the bun soggy. Points lost for a soggy bun for a burger. The bathrooms were rustically themed but not well maintained. They were quite dirty and contained a rather unpleasant odour akin to ones with a pipe leak. Anyone who wished to smoke was free to do so anywhere, there was no designated smoking spot, so, 0/10 for that. I'm guessing it was way better when it opened but... My experience was not too great, and it wasn't too bad either... Smack in the middle... Average.

Nice weekend vibe here—lots of people, perfect for inviting friends to catch a game together. The food is tasty, and prices are reasonable if you skip the drinks. But the service from some staff leaves much to be desired. I ordered a bucket of beer, and they started bringing more before I even finished the first one… They refused to let me return the unfinished beer, and after a long back-and-forth, they finally reluctantly took it back. On top of that, the staff were unfriendly the entire time. If the restaurant’s staff are this unprofessional, it’s clear the restaurant hasn’t trained them properly.
Wei H — Google review
Never been inside before nor have I purchased, drank or indeed chilled there, but from the look of things whenever I am passing, the place is sweet. The place had made its name back in the days but it still stands out as a leading bar and restaurant in the area. Provides an outdoor kind of arrangement with face to face benches and some good music for Al who stop by for a drink. The long standing challenge is parking space and the place is not big enough as to accommodate huge crowds but will surely give you a good taste of Nyumba Yanga or Woodlands Hospitality. Fairly priced beverages in a very excited but calm neighborhood. That one good stop over between work and home to put you in a homely mood.
