This is a beautiful colonial style hotel set in the heart of Murchison Falls National Park. It has a spectacular view of the Nile river. The rooms are clean and well appointed. It’s like taking a trip back in time with all the modern conveniences. Great food and the water pressure in the shower makes you not want to get out. The staff is so accommodating. We love this place.

Beautiful luxury accommodation in the wild. I have been many times and will be coming back. Totally recommend it. Give it a go if you haven't already.
David G — Google review
The hotel is generally dated and needs a upgrade, it’s a big name with below average experience, the rooms have problems - basin drain covers missing , AC not working properly and too noise , linen old and torn , showers small and poorly , corridors dark , lighting poor , roofing coming apart , with the new uganda developing this area around the hotel due to oil , the hotel needs a revamp , staff are not well trained , poor deck area has uneven floor . I wish the management the best and feel sorry for the customers
Harmeet C — Google review
Came only for the food lunch was extraordinary. But dinner was pure disappointed for 80.000 UGX, it would be nice if the rice would be properly cooked, within t hard grains inside of it.
Y — Google review
We only stopped for lunch. We enjoyed everything especially the service but it was way too expensive. And the food wasn't worth the price.
Eli F — Google review
Enjoyed our stay! It's beautiful here also, food has improved greatly this year as I go on safari yearly. Can't wait to see the upgraded rooms completed!

Best holiday I ever had! A big thank you from the bottom of my heart to Chef Samuel for cooking the best food I ever had in my life to Godfrey by the swimming pool serving us top cocktails always smiling and being a great guy to talk to, to Oliver always there to help with any information we needed and the guy cleaning our room every day with a bright smile to the manager overseeing everything with great care , I just can't thank you enough guys! From the bottom of my heart thank you very much for having us !! The HIGHLIGHT OF MY HOLIDAY IS MY BIRTHDAY. I was so touched by the private set for dinner by the fire, a birthday cake and I also was touched that they support the local community. I had local entertainment of singers and dancers. We danced and laughed together. The staff joined in and this one lifetime experience I will forever carry with me. Thank PSL for making my first trip to Africa and most of all to the Pearl of Africa a once in a lifetime memorable experience.
Aurelian — Google review
Beautiful scenery - close to the river - but we were there for food and paying 80.000 per head for a below mediocre lunch buffet - that is not good enough - if you want to just go there for a view over the beautiful scenery and a drink it will be good value - but for food not a good value!

My husband and I stayed there for 1 night on our 2nd anniversary. The safari tent was very nice. So much better than what I expected. Very clean and safe. They also provided for us a special dinner location at their view point which was very romantic and special. They also served us cake to celebrate! The only thing that disappointed me was the lunch menu and portion.
Jessica M — Google review
Incredible lodge located right on the Nile River and close to Murchison Park. This is the only place on our East Africa trip where we required an escort to and from our room at night due to roaming hippos in the area... what an incredible experience! The Tent was fantastic and close to nature, every meal was delicious and the pool vibes were a god send to keep cool after game drives.
Michael S — Google review
A unique resort and we were so impressed with the staff. All very friendly and manager Emily did so much to make our trip special with trips booked. The safari tents are well maintained and we loved the shower area looking to the outside.

This is a beautiful lodge on the banks overlooking the River Nile, just outside Murchison Falls National Park. Family friendly and a great place to take a well deserved day or two off during your safari. Can't recommend it enough.
Andrew N — Google review
Fantastic place. We loved every second of it. Breakfast on the river and nightshows. And the safaris where absolutely awesome. The dream of Africa. Queen Elizabeth's lodge were just on the other side of the river. Elephants, buffalo, giraffes, gazelles and hippoes in abundance. And cute monkeys around the lodge. We long to come back.
Per M — Google review
Our tent had everything we needed, including Hippos that just hung around at night and early morning. Food and service were great. Would 100% recommend.
Amir B — Google review
I visited in Nov 2024 and this place is just amazing! A big slice of heaven. The staff are friendly, attentive and go above and beyond. The location is absolutely beautiful - having lunch and dinner overlooking the river with all the nature sounds, a pool where the monkeys come and drink from (wifi as well), a lit fire in the evening listening to live music with traditional instruments and watching the fireflies and an easy drive into the park for safari. The accomodation is exquisite - comfortable beds surrounded with mosquito nets, decorated nicely, lovely showers and I love how they're environmentally friendly and support local businesses and people. The food is on another level - I have a dairy allergy and I was very easily accommodated, also vegan and veggie options and can we just talk about the pineapple crumble?? I'm coming back just for that, everything else is a bonus 🤣 I've booked again for Oct 2025 and I can't wait!! Thank you to all the lovely staff for making my stay unforgettable!

Nestled within the breathtaking Murchison Falls National Park, Nile Safari Lodge offers an unforgettable experience for safari enthusiasts. This charming lodge provides a variety of accommodations that cater to all budgets, from luxury to midrange and budget options. Guests can enjoy spacious rooms equipped with en-suite bathrooms and cozy sitting areas, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
Stunning location and incredible hospitality! The view of the Nile was the highlight of a lifetime for our daughter. The grounds, lodge, and our rooms were all spectacular. They were all done in the local style and with extravagant finishes. We saw monkeys, baboons, and more birds than I can recall. Hippos could be heard but the staff were always conscious of their location to ensure we stayed safe. Meals were all wonderful and accommodated gluten free options.
Grant F — Google review
What a magical place! We went there with all our children and we all had an amazing time. The staff were incredible, so helpful. The rooms were spacious and pure luxury. The surroundings, with the pool, were all relaxing with breathtaking views of the Nile. It was a lifetime experience for us all. The stay in the Nile safari lodge was honestly one of our most memorable stays in Uganda, but also throughout Africa.

Our stay at Nile Safari Lodge was truly paradise! Everything was perfect and absolutely beautiful — from the stunning views to the peaceful atmosphere. The service was exceptional, and every detail made us feel special and cared for. A special thank you to Mr. Precious, who took such great care of us throughout our stay. His kindness and professionalism made our experience even more memorable. We also celebrated my husband’s birthday here, and it was one of a kind — truly unforgettable! Thank you, Nile Safari Lodge, for the amazing hospitality and for creating such wonderful memories for us. We can’t wait to come back!
Jennifer M — Google review
Our stay felt like a waking dream. This lodge is a little slice of paradise, nestled among incredible birds and the most adorable little monkeys. The breathtaking view over the Nile gives way to stunning sunsets. The lodge has a charming little boat, captained by Alfred, who took us all the way to the magnificent Murchison Falls. On the way there, we spotted countless hippos, crocodiles, and an amazing variety of birds! The lodge staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They organized a wide range of activities for us — from visiting the rhino sanctuary to reaching the top of the falls — not to mention the unforgettable animals we saw during our safari in Murchison Falls National Park. This place is more than just a lodge. It’s a timeless escape, where every detail is designed to create a truly unique and intimate experience. Thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable adventure.

Incredible place with the best view of the Nile! The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, the staff are extremely welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The pool is stunning — perfect for relaxing or taking amazing photos. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Uganda!

We just got back from celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Nile Safari Lodge. This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are so spacious and beautiful on the Nile River. The best part is the service and the staff. They are so friendly and welcome you every time you come back from a game drive. They made our anniversary so special! I would highly recommend if you are in this area.

Pakuba Safari Lodge is one of the many accommodation options available for travelers visiting Murchison Falls National Park. It offers comfortable rooms with amenities like air conditioning and spacious interiors. The lodge provides good customer service and has a swimming pool, restaurant serving buffet meals, and strong WiFi in common areas. Guests can enjoy scenic views of the surrounding wildlife from various spots around the resort.
Awesome hotel! We had a great very spacious room with AC. The staff was very friendly and kind, food and drinks have been very good and the restaurant/bar area offers an incredible view on the Nile river and wildlife. Great location to start your safari tours!
Marcel P — Google review
The room was a bit dark and felt rather spartanic. Well, it's a lodge in a national park after all. The food was great and was served as a buffet, and we could enjoy the sunset over the Albert Nile during dinner. The resident group of water bucks and warthogs ensured definite safari vibes!
H P — Google review
The accommodation was too big, there were too crowded. We had a relatively small and old room in a row of rooms, like a motel. The shower was a disaster. There was absolutely no water pressure, so there was barely any water coming out of the shower. The bed was fine and the airconditioning was pleasant. The food was buffet-style. Which was not tasteful in the evenings, because the food got very dry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, lots of wildlife close to the accommodation.
Joyce D — Google review
It was difficult to book the room, after attempting to call multiple times and send an email we decided to send an inquiry off their website and they responded so quickly. The location was beautiful and the staff were so kind and welcoming! We saw so many animals outside our room it was such a surreal experience. This has been my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at the service was a 10000/10
Melisa D — Google review
My son and I stayed at Pakuba Safari Lodge in May and had a wonderful experience. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome, and the food was absolutely delicious throughout my stay. The lodge’s location in Murchison Falls National Park offered stunning views and easy access to wildlife. We actually saw a leopard just nearby the lodge. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort and nature—I highly recommend it!
Ronald G — Google review
Great location for Safari drives. We stayed 2 nights. Staff is friendly. Buffet was very average, drinks were extra. The hot water in the shower did not work, but we were not there long enough to bother to complain.

Absolutely surreal Place! Best views of the Nile River including amazing sunsets… Good Food & Friendly Staff And the Highlight: Animals grassing and resting on the lodge campus!

Nestled within the Budongo Central Forest Reserve in Uganda, Budongo Eco Lodge offers a range of accommodations to suit different budgets. The lodge is located in the Murchison Falls National Park and provides an opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity of the area. With over 600 chimpanzees and 8 other primate species, it's a prime location for chimpanzee trekking.
We didn’t spend the night here, but we visited the park to see Chimpanzees in the forest and it was an amazing experience. Chris our gide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
Carlo B — Google review
Beautiful cafe and location - chimp trekking was lovely but our guide Ben was extremely loud in the forest... shouting into his walkie talkie and cranking up the volume in a very unnatural way. Would improve the experience if the guide was more aware of his surroundings when in the forest.
Yoël — Google review
The chimp tracking is incredible! After a walk through the beautiful rain forest you may get really close to them. Our guide was very good, he explained a lot and took us in the middle of a group of at least 8 chimps. The sound they made was amazing. I can highly recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in nature and wildlife.
Mr. P — Google review
The hotel itself is no longer in operation, but there’s a beautiful café and restaurant (with a souvenirs shop inside) on the premises — surrounded by lush forest filled with monkeys (baboons and colobus), birds, and countless butterflies. 🦋🐦 It’s always been one of my favorite stops and fondest memories on the way back from Murchison Falls.
Nana T — Google review
Did chimpanzee trek with family (2x kids under 15) with appropriate wavers. Was amazing. Knowledge guide, amazing primal forest and once in a lifetime chance to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat (as well as so many other plants, trees, and wildlife). Not cheap. But felt worth it.
Dan H — Google review
Chimpanzee Trek: We did a chimpanzee trek with a guide (James) and it was an excellent experience from the moment we arrived. All of the lodge staff is knowledgeable and friendly and James patiently answered all of our questions and offered interesting detail and information about plants, animals and insects we saw along the way. He alerted us to every fireant trail, for which we were grateful! The hike itself was not too challenging if you are reasonably fit. There are very few small hills and it only requires a little root scrambling. Occasionally the pace picked up to catch up with the chimps but James was very aware of our comfort and abilities. This was a real highlight in our trip to the area and I highly recommend it.
T M — Google review
If you like the Nature, you must stay in this place. The guard Isaac in the entrance was too much hilarious, he make our day. The location it's just PURE. The staff is very friendly and professional. The room was cozy and comfortable, with wood everywhere. We have really appreciated the food. The Cook did a great job. The ambiance in the night it's very restful with the woods 🔥. Definitely, we recommend Budongo Eco Lodge to everyone.
Nana C — Google review
First of all the accommodation is good enough. Nice cottages In the middle of the rainforest. Good beds, flushing toilet and warm shower in the cottage. Nothing luxurious but as mentioned good enough. Location, atmosphere, staff, quality of sleep, baboons and chimpanzees, they make this place magical. Put it on your bucket list!

Fort Murchison is a fantastic destination nestled within the stunning Murchison Falls National Park, offering a variety of accommodations to suit every traveler's needs. From luxurious lodges like Paraa Safari Lodge and Chobe Safari Lodge to budget-friendly options such as UWA Campsite and Boomu Women's Group Bandas, there's something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms, delightful dining experiences featuring local and international cuisine, and amenities like swimming pools and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
The service was excellent and we enjoyed the pool. We were staying in the houses. The food is very delicious and the WiFi was working good. The only issue is, that it is approximately a 30 minutes drive to the gate of the Murchison Falls National Park Gate.
Krissistar 7 — Google review
The tent was very nice for sleeping and food probably best we have tasted in Uganda. However, be careful with your valuables. Some of our money got stolen. Probably by a staff member as he had time to go though our stuff thoroughly and take only few large notes so it would not be detected that easily. If you spend your night here, take all the valuables with you to the safaris and while eating. Cannot recommend.
Tuomas T — Google review
The lodge looks a lot better than the pictures on their website. Our room was very comfortable, nice beds, mosquito nets and the shower was decent. The fan in the room was great! The lodge is run on solar power so there is no fridge, kettle or hair dryer in the rooms, but that didn’t bother us. You get a bottle of water in the room, but the restaurant also has a water tank where you can fill up your own bottle no charge. Amazing, I wish each lodge had this. The staff was very friendly. A special shout out to the chef who cooked up the most delicious vegan meals for us! They will accommodate you, just inform the staff. The location is the only downside, it’s about 30-40 mins drive from the national park gate. It’s mostly on a dirt road, but keep a look out for elephants. On our way there, we had to stop for a few minutes because an elephant decided the road is the best place to chill 😁 Quite an experience and it was good to see that no cars hooted or anything. We were patiently waiting for the bull to move, respecting their home.
Suzie G — Google review
Kironde Strain Stayed 2 nights 22 to 24th December 2023. Brilliant service, comfortable rooms WITH drinking water, mosquito spray and mosquito nets. Manager Herbert and his staff were welcoming and wonderful. Welcomed with fresh juice and refreshing towels, after the long drive from Kampala. My son's girlfriend has gluten allergies and it was reassuring to be asked about allergies before we broached the subject. I had brought food for her but she didn't need it. Cross contamination was a serious consideration, thank you. The meals were delicious as were the packed lunches. The setting is lovely. Next time we will stay an extra night, just to wake up late and spend day in lovely grounds. Our safari day started at 5.30 am but a full breakfast was ready at the early time. Card payment issues need to be ironed out, that is my only issue. Caused us some delay and anxiety. Thank you Fort Murchisons.
Sara K — Google review
Great place, rooms and atmosphere. No wifi at the rooms, only at the center. The road to the lodge for 4wheel drive only.
Gil B — Google review
Altogether wonderful experience. Staff extremely attentive, courteous and accommodating. Grounds are kept so clean and the gardens are stunning. Room and pool are clean and well kept. Food was excellent though on the second night the buffet was below standard of the previous night.

What a great place to stay! super modern, extremely friendly staff, great rates. The best part is the view of the Nile river from almost anywhere on the property. Food was great. They also packed lunches for our day trips which was great! 100% will stay here again. Stunning place with great architecture. Again I can't explain how much we loved the staff! Such great senses of humour, very happy to help with everything and just great!

Staying at Anyadwe House was absolutely exceptional, from the moment we arrived we felt true hospitality with attentive, professional staff who were warm without ever being intrusive. The meals were a real highlight: Chef Precious, she is a GEM! freshly prepared, multi‑course dishes using local, healthy ingredients, with an excellent variety each day, so flavorful yet wholesome. And the setting couldn’t be more idyllic: elegant, eco-conscious architecture overlooking the Nile, with lush lawns and a relaxing pool. We were impressed by the team’s care, the gorgeous riverside views, the vibrant cuisine, and the serene atmosphere, a perfect blend of comfort, Luxury, wellness, and nature. Highly recommended!

I was pleasantly impressed with the level of service at Bakers Lodge. Visiting the place, alone with my children...they did everything to make our stay safe. From arriving, they made sure all my arrangements with the Hot Air Ballooning, was in order. Even arranging with a ranger, to help us cross the river, as the Ferry was closed for maintenance. (NOTE, this does happen throughout the year, but it's easy to arrange travel to cross the river...) We also did the nature cruise, to the falls.. which took over 3 hours. (NOTE, if you go during the afternoon cruise, watch which side you sit. The sun is a killer, as it shines on the one side, even with the canopy on. Drinks for sale on boat. ). I spend every morning from around 3am, watching the Hippos munch around our rooms. The food is amazing, and my daughter , spend some quality time with their chef's. This place is the best in the area!
Butterfly R — Google review
Amazing experience on the banks of the Nile. Hippos on the lawn along with the odd elephant and wart hogs. Food delightful, wine and beers very cold. Lions and hyenas calling in the night simply soak up the experience and sounds of africa while here.
Dave S — Google review
Amazing location on the banks of the mighty Nile River Baker's Lodge is the right place if you want comfort, nature and fun. We spent 2 nights in this accommodation on the banks of the mighty Nile River, inside of the Murchison Fall National Park and it was simply amazing. The almost constant presence of hippos, crocodiles, monkeys and birds are part of the show. The huts are spacious, comfortable and have a balcony overlooking the Nile that allows you to spend hours contemplating the landscape. The staff are very professional and attentive, the meals were divine. We had one of the best dinners of our trip to Uganda at Baker's Lodge. Thanks chef. Just enjoy the pool, the Nile view fire and the great atmosphere of Bake's Lodge. We also took a beautiful boat trip to Murchison Falls organized by Wild Frontiers and a self safari. Know that: From Baker's Lodge to where the boat rides leave and for safari, it is approximately 25 minutes by car. To do the safari you need to take a ferry (10 min) to cross the Nile River. A presença quase constante de hipopótamos, crocodilos, macacos e pássaros faz parte do show.

Highly recommended Lodge. Unfortunately we stayed only one night. The Main building is lovely furnished. Comfortable sofas with nice view over the Nile. Lunch was fantastic, and as we were the only two other guests besides a big group, we were beautifully seated separately. The cottage is also very nice. Huge bed with fantastic mattress. Also excellent MosquitoNet. Cupboards for the clothes, USB charger 24 hours in the room. For others you can charge your battery's in the Main building close to the Bar. Swimming Pool is also available. Bernard the manager is very friendly and doing everything, to make you happy. Thanks again.

We had a very nice time in Baker’s Lodge. It is located on the Victoria Nile River, a perfect location to relax after a safari or a boat ride in Murchinson National Park. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the food is a combination of local dishes and international cuisine prepared by Isaac . He is a young cheff trained in Kampala that designs and prepares a new delicious meal every day. David, the hotel manager, was at all times there making our stay easy, enjoyable and safe. We thank our tour guide and New Path Expedition group for choosing such special place to stay in Murchinson Falls.

I had an amazing time at Park Side Safari Lounge Uganda Hotel! The location is perfect, with stunning views of the park. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The rooms were 1 clean and comfortable, 2 and the food at the restaurant was delicious. I especially enjoyed the outdoor lounge area, where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable safari experience.

The proximity to the safari area could have offered a great experience, but the road needs improvement. The rooms lacked air conditioning, and the provided fans were not effective. There was hot water, which was a plus. However, the rooms definitely need maintenance. The food was decent, but overall, more attention to detail is required.

A Hidden Gem of Comfort and Serenity!" I recently had the pleasure of staying at Parkside Lodge, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The lodge is beautifully designed, blending nature and comfort seamlessly. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated, offering a peaceful retreat after a long day. I especially loved the lush gardens surrounding the property, providing a tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The food was absolutely delicious! Every meal was prepared with fresh ingredients, and the variety on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone. What truly sets Parkside Lodge apart is its attention to detail and outstanding hospitality. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a business retreat, or a solo escape, this lodge is a perfect choice. I can't wait to visit again!

Nothing extraordinary. Pretty basic accommodation. Dinner was quite good, but dining area feels and looks dingy. Emanuel was nice and welcoming, though. There are a lot of ants in this place. Make sure not to bring any snacks in the room with you or you’ll find a big colony of them in the morning all over the room. No hot water for showering. Rough road to get there.

Wow, this lodge was incredible! The entire experience was five stars! This was my first time to stay here, and will not be my last - I was truly impressed! We called in a last minute reservation a few hours before arriving, and the moment we arrived, we were greeted with glasses of fresh cool passion fruit juice, and warm washcloths to clean our face and hands. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, escorting us to our beautiful cottages, carrying our bags, and taking our dinner orders. The view from the cottages, overlooking the Nile River and surrounding hills and valleys, was beyond spectacular! The location is perfect, directly at the turn of the river, giving you magnificent views that are unmatched by the other lodges in the area. We sat on the porch of the cottage and enjoyed the sunset over the Nile River. The wildlife here is very abundant. The number of bird species we heard and saw was amazing. And birds of every size and color. The local baboons were very entertaining and nice to watch. The elephants and hippos are very comfortable to come up to the cottages. The hippos graze on the grass right here in front of your cottage. And the elephants play with the trees right outside your cottage. Since we are on the river, the animals visit this beautiful lodge very often. If you stay at this wonderful lodge, you may not even need to go on a safari ride :-) But if you’d like to go on a safari ride, look no further than the highly skilled and knowledgeable owner of this lodge, Aaron. Aaron knows this entire safari park extremely well, and can take you to see any animal you desire to enjoy. I don’t know how he does if, but he always knows where the animals are and can take you to them. The meals here are truly delicious. For dinner they served us fresh tilapia from the river, and for breakfast we enjoyed a delicious omelet pancakes, fresh local fruit and juice. We were very happy with their overall meal service! So to sum it up, we greatly enjoyed our time here at the Park Side Safari Lodge, and would highly recommend it!

First time to visit as a group and i stayed in a cottage with 4 other ladies but the rooms were clean, spacious and exactly like how they were shown to us on the internet. The meals were simple and sumptuous. We crowned it all at night with a campfire and hot tea. Thank you for a great service. I would definetely visit again

Great service by the staff on ground specifically Pius and his team are doing a great job. Nevertheless the roads to the lodge are not in perfect state but this is not the responsibility of the lodge I suppose. I recommend fellow guides to embrace this accommodation.

Authentic safari experience, absolutely gorgeous location and property. Service was unmatched and the safari was one of the best I’ve ever been on. 10/10.

The lodge has nice views and good rooms. The staff were quite friendly and helped us with getting our baggage to the room and back. The lodge runs on generators. There is no power for more than half the day. The generator will run during 7PM - 11PM and 4AM - 8AM only. This has an effect on your sleep as well as charging your electronic devices. Even the fans won't work at night. Take this into consideration when booking. Given the remote nature of this lodge, confirm such issues with other lodges also in the vicinity. Starting August 1, 2023, night game drives will be allowed for tourists only if your accommodation is inside the park premises. Heritage Safari lodge and all the lodges next to it are outside the park. If the night game drive is important to you, check out the lodges and resorts by the river.

It's a lodge, but they behave as though they let us stay for free in their house. Some responses from them include - chef didn't come today - we don't have any other vegetable - I slept off, switching them on (when I woke them up at 430 to switch on generator) Location is actually quite good, right near the park, entrance. But then Uganda government and Murchison falls changed rules last minute and hence our night game drive was cancelled. Apparently only people in hotels/lodges inside the park can go night game drive.(new change as of August 1) . Rooms were great, nice design, clean rooms. Electricity does get shut off at between 11pm and 4 am every night. Even fans wont work, so u are basically camping but it's a budget location,am okie with it. What really pissed me off is , almost all meals they messed up our order. We had a vegetarian amidst our group and was forced to eat the same thing every meal. It's just that, we are paying for food and they didn't seem to care. They behaved as though they are doing us a favor. Roads leading to here was not great. You can probably stay here if u are looking for a place to crash that's clean. Bring your food and a lot of batteries and power bank. Unfortunately with new #murchison falls rules , places outside the park are going to have more restrictions so you are anyways better off stayinf inside the park

Good lodge. Not far from the river. You may hire a boat for a river trip to see some hippos and wild animals on the bank. There is no air conditioner in the rooms. Rooms are ok, note that WC separated from the room only with a wall which is not reach the ceiling. Good stuff. Tasty breakfast and dinner (for the additional prise for 40k UGX). Nise dusk views. The road to the hotel is very bumpy for 1 to 2 kilometers.

After researching many safari lodges, we chose Heritage Safari Lodge and are so glad we did. It is a beautiful, serene facility with great food and great service with a very professional and friendly staff. Beautiful view of the river in a quiet, relaxing setting. Highly recommend.

Cool ambience. Very clean rooms some of which directly over look the River Nile. Thatched huts are set to look like the traditional “Jonam”huts. If you want to experience something you will hardly get anywhere else, this is the place to go to

Best place to see the falls . Hike is not too strenuous . Minimum 3 different perspectives with fantastic views of the falls. Easy to walk and orientate . Worth the 15 USD extra entrance fee.

(Translated by Google) Unless you want to make a campfire, you're on your own here without a ranger. Showers and toilet clean with soap and toilet. paper. You can go down to the Nile where there are hippos. it is about 500m to the waterfalls. When you have paid for the campsite, you no longer pay for the views of the waterfall. Only if you want to go on a short trek 10 dollars about 15 minutes walk where there is a view of the falls from a distance. (Original) Pokud nechcete dělat oheň v kempu, jste zde sami bez rangera. Sprchy a wc čisté s mýdlem a toal. papírem.

Murchison Treehouse is one of the many accommodation options available in Murchison Falls. It offers a range of choices from budget to luxury, including safari tents and treehouses. The lodge provides immaculate safari tents with well-maintained shared bathrooms. Despite the presence of mosquitoes, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The site offers a peaceful and inspiring experience surrounded by nature and overlooking the beautiful Nile River.
An amazing eco-lodge with gorgeous views of the river. We stayed in the safari tents and they were immaculate (they looked like they had never been slept in before!). The shared bathrooms were also super clean and well maintained. Food was hearty and well prepared and the staff were welcoming and friendly. No complaints other than the insane number of mosquitoes but if you load on the repellent you will be fine. I highly recommend staying at this lodge if you are going to Murchison Falls. You won't be disappointed!

I've stayed at the Treehouse twice now as I've visited amazing Murchison Falls. I can't recommend this place highly enough - the site is quiet, peaceful, and inspiring as can be; you are surrounded by nature, the beautiful Nile River is just in front of you, and there are a variety of options for your stay depending on what kind of experience you want / your budget. The food is UNREAL, the restaurant and views stunning, the atmosphere positive, and the accommodation clean and beautiful. The staff are amazing, fun and so helpful. No matter what kind of experience you're looking for, this place can give it to you. Best getaway I've had in Uganda, and I won't stay anywhere else now when visiting Murchison :)

Very nice and calm place. No music or other disturbance. Everything was made with an eye for details (small flowers, candles around the tent at night etc.) We stayed at the campground (10UsD) which is unfortunately not at the river side. However you can chill the whole day in the nice bar area.

I stayed here in 2019 while on a safari with Buutu Safaris and I have been thinking about my return often since then. Breathtakingly beautiful. They food was amazing; we had a pumpkin soup that I dream of to this day! I also remember my conversations with the owner Daudi as he is truly an innovative, forward thinker. Highly recommend. Hopefully be back soon!

I visited here with my brother back in July 2016, had such an amazing week. The views are incredible, the lodge is stunning and the staff are lovely. What more could you want than sipping a beer, on the balcony of your treehouse, overlooking the river in the African sun!

The Murchison treehouse team will welcome you with open arms and a great smile. They want you to have a great time and will make sure it happens. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the food delicious, location out of this world, true wilderness giving you a full experience of sleeping surrounded by the birds singing and hippos grazing!
