French restaurant
South American restaurant
Bonito Saint Barth is a renowned restaurant in the Caribbean, offering a unique blend of traditional French cuisine with a South American twist. Situated near the water, it attracts luxury yacht charter guests and visitors attending St Bart's New Year's Eve celebrations. The restaurant boasts a laid-back atmosphere with five-star service and stunning views of Gustavia Harbor.
This was the best meal we had in St. Barth! The restaurant is beautiful and charming, with warm ocean themed decor and views of Gustavia. The cocktails were outstanding and the food absolutely exquisite. This is a must-see in St. Barth. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
Chris P — Google review
Bonito used to be one of our favorite go to dinners while we were in town, but after this year’s experience we are striking it from our list. We came for our friend’s birthday and arrived on time for our 9:30 dinner reservation but were not seated at our table until after 10 pm. At this point we were quite hungry and asked if we could order some appetizers asap but were told that wasn’t possible and that our whole order would need to be placed at one time. For shared apps we ordered the ceviche tasting, mole verde and the special pork tacos. I thought that the vegetarian ceviche and the mole verde were top notch. For my main I ordered the lomo saltado and my husband ordered the suckling pig confit. The lomo saltado almost inedibly salty and the pig was so gamey that my husband literally did not eat it. The real problem came when my friend, who ordered green curry mahi mahi bit into a metal safety pin. We immediately alerted our waitress who said that we must have dropped it in there because they don’t cook with those… Which… I should hope not. The restaurant was completely unapologetic and refused to take the dish off of the bill or take any responsibility at all. It was honestly pretty astounding. Long story long, we won’t be coming back or recommending Bonito to friends.

Beautiful view, great service, and of course amazing food and cocktails. A must visit when in St Barth! It’s the best restaurant on the island.
Bianca — Google review
Without any doubt, one of the best restaurants in Saint Barth. Enjoyed both the cocktails and the cuisine. I opted for a late dinner this time, but next time I would definitely go for a late afternoon setup or an early dinner in order to enjoy to the sunset view. I highly recommend it.
Telly A — Google review
Bonito has a beautiful setting, but our experience fell short. The menu lacked variety and had no kids’ options, making it difficult for families. While the food was decent, prices felt high for the value. We had mentioned it was my husband’s birthday, but it was overlooked, which was disappointing for what was meant to be a special evening. Overall, not the warm or accommodating experience we had hoped for, and over priced.
Imaney A — Google review
Absolutely beautiful open air space with stunning cocktails, and perfectly executed seafood with a Peruvian flair. This is definitely one of the most lively and gorgeous dining rooms in St Barth, and the style perfectly fits the island. The cocktail program is superb, delivering some of the best drinks I’ve had, and each has its own unique presentation. Service is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a date night or dinner with friends!
Ryan M — Google review
This could have easily been a 5 Star review had the hostess, Mary, not been so unyielding during our reservation process and seating when we arrived for dinner. We were a party of 4 in St. Barths to celebrate my husband's birthday and requested being seated on the patio. There were 4 tables available that remained available for the two hours we dined. There was no other party of 4 that came in during that time. Aside from that. The food was beyond fantastic, and the service was magical. The wait staff were very much at the top of their game, and the level of service saved the evening.
Heather T — Google review
Creative, fun, and over the top cocktails, great atmosphere and view, attentive service, and very solid food. The grouper main course was a bit unbalanced and aggressive with salt, but the rest of the dishes were very flavorful and good.

French restaurant
Restaurant
Bagatelle St. Barth is a French-Mediterranean restaurant and club located in the heart of Gustavia, offering a vibrant atmosphere and delectable cuisine. The kitchen is helmed by Chef Leopold Gillen, known for his experience in Michelin restaurants. Guests can indulge in truffle cream pizza, crispy fish fritters, and refreshing rose and St-Germain punch bowls.
This restaurant was amazing. We had such a great time. The food was a 10 out of 10. The drinks, cocktails, vibes, and staff were all on point. We had an incredible time there. It’s a must-go!
Fresh0731 — Google review
Went here on our last night in St Barth. Management was incredible and helped us with our reservation despite us having tried multiple times before even through Amex with no luck. He also recommended things to do around the island. The food was great, and the atmosphere was amazing. Best dinner party I’ve been to!
Claudia D — Google review
Bagatelle has an outstanding ambiance, frankly the best on the harbor. The food was really delicious and well executed. Our particular set of orders focused too much on truffle-based dishes, leading to a bit of a monochromatic dinner. The dishes we had were very well executed, but we should have ordered more variety. The Focaccia De Recco appetizer in particular was outstanding. Highly recommend this dish, and then recommend to follow with non-truffle dishes of greater variety. Our service was pleasant. The server was a bit overworked at times, though she was very cheerful. The team worked together fairly well throughout the night.
Griffin D — Google review
Bagatelle is just overrated. We've been several times in various locations and St Barth location is simply disappointing. The food had a nice presentation, but our entire party agreed that only one one food item we ordered was good. Scallops might be the worst I've had. Zucchini flower was mediocre. Salad was beautiful but had very little flavor. Foie gras sounded fantastic on the menu, but was entirely bland. A5 filet was the only thing that was decent. The service was attentive but with mostly poor attitude. The dining area is covered but open air and it was extremely hot inside. Definitely high energy and can be a ton of fun if you're willing to look past everything else mentioned.
Robert H — Google review
We always have the best time at Bagatelle and our most recent visit was no different! One recommendation would be to not come here for dinner. Last year when we came we made that mistake and the dining room started turning into an all out club while we were still waiting on our entrees. This time we ate elsewhere and arrived for drinks and dancing after and that struck the perfect balance. The DJ here plays a great mix of tracks and was also receptive to requests up to a certain point. lol. No trip to St. Barths is complete without dancing at Bagatelle.
Maggie J — Google review
We really enjoyed our evening at Bagatelle. We dont care for crowds or the dancing on tables so we got there early to enjoy our meal. Our meal from start to finish was noteworthy! Especially the salad my husband and I shared. Not only was it a work of art, but it actually tasted as good at it looked. The desserts stood out as well!!! We did enjoy (towards the end of our mea) the entertainment ofl watching one waiter turn the music up blaring & then another go & adjust it down. It was amusing! lol Guess they were getting ready for the party!
Parrish N — Google review
My evening at Bagatelle in St. Barth's left much to be desired. The service fell short as the staff either forgot an item or failed to check on how a dish tasted. I dined with the occasional distraction of beachgoers passing by. Even the simple task of settling the bill took an inexplicably long 30 minutes, with the staff seemingly unaware of my waiting. Additionally, some dishes were left unattended after arrival, (namely dessert) leaving me wishing for more attentive service. The presentation of the food paled in comparison to other restaurants on the island, and the staff's casual attire, lacking a uniform, felt out of place for what should be a high-end restaurant, even in the Caribbean. Their lack of passion for their job, the menu, the cuisine, and the overall dining environment was evident (in my opinion)?compared to other staff members and experienced I've encountered and had on the island. Side note; I am American where it is customary to leave 18-20% on food and alcoholic beverages for service; It was the only restaurant whose staff inquired about “leaving a gratuity for the staff” as I settled the bill. I wasn’t sure if this was because in St Barth’s you usually have to tell them ahead of time but I thought that was odd. I’ve eaten out every day for 9 days and this was the only time I’ve been asked. PS, the presence of the “friends” outside, with the staff attributing it to the Caribbean setting, was less than desirable, as it was unsettling to have them scurrying within inches during my meal. A shining exception to this was the team member Leys, who was not my server but was very friendly, checked in several times early on to strike up a conversation.

I have been to Bagatelle locations all over the world and this was by far the most disappointing and sorry excuse for a Bagatelle experience I have ever had. We came to Bagatelle, St. Barths while on our honeymoon. While I have been to many Bagatelle locations my husband has never been and I spent the last couple months leading up to our honeymoon talking up the atmosphere and amazing party vibes that Bagatelle always boasts. I was so excited for him to experience it himself. I made this reservation MONTHS ago, I made sure to make a late reservation because I know those are always better for when the party gets started after eating for the last seating. I also knew this Bagatelle location offered outside seating but that it kept you secluded from the party vibe inside and made certain to request a table inside stating this was for our honeymoon and I just really wanted my husband to get the full experience I’ve always talked about. When we arrived we were immediately brought outside. I told the hostess and our server that I had requested an inside table with my reservation, they both said they unfortunately had nothing inside but would move us as soon as something opened. 15 minutes later another couple shows up and is seated outside asking to be moved in, they were also told there was no inside seating available but after I watched the gentleman give the hostess cash within 5 minutes they were moved to an inside table BEFORE us. I kindly asked my server if something had opened up inside because we were waiting first and had requested it. She said no and that the only reason the other couple was given an inside table over us was because he had requested it 2 DAYS BEFORE. Meanwhile I requested it 3 MONTHS BEFORE. We then spent the rest of the dinner stuck outside paying 40 euros for a watered down tequila drink. My lobster pasta only had a small amount of meat from a single tail in it, with an appetizer sized portion of pasta, that was so undercooked it was actually crunchy coming out to a whopping 160 euros for just my plate alone . My husbands lamb chops came with 3 measly lamb chops on the plate that were so overcooked they were almost inedible. We complained about none of this, merely mentioned it to our server when she asked how everything was, though she couldn’t seem to care less. I had forewarned my husband that Bagatelle isn’t exactly known for the food but that they make up with it with their lively atmosphere and amazing party after dinner service. We were never moved inside as promised and by 1130/12am we decided to just call it a night because there was clearly not the same party happening that I’ve come to know and love at every other Bagatelle location I have frequented. I know July is technically St. Barths “off” season so maybe that was why this location was so off but the vibes were terrible, the food inedible, and the drinks dismal. It seemed as though the servers would start to get the party going and then just as guests were standing up to dance and get on their tables as I’ve seen at every other location before, all the servers would walk away and they would dim the lights and lower the music again. It was a rollercoaster that no one seemed to do what they were doing. I was honestly shocked that this place could call themselves a Bagatelle location and so upset with how much I talked it up to my husband even making it the last dinner of our honeymoon trip thinking we were going to end our honeymoon with the best night of the trip and it was sadly the WORST night and dinner we experienced the entire time we were there. I will never be back to this location or recommend it to anyone who asks. If you’re looking for good food and a real great party vibe in St. Barths for dinner, Le Petite Plage is right around the corner and absolutely destroys this place.

Mediterranean restaurant
Shellona is a popular restaurant located on the famous Shell Beach, just a short walk from Gustavia. The beach is known for its abundance of seashells. The restaurant offers succulent grilled foods and seafood dishes with flavors inspired by the Mediterranean, prepared by Greek executive chef Yiannis Kioroglou. Guests can enjoy signature dishes such as the Kalamakos, Mediterranean Mahi Mahi, and Grilled Caribbean Lobster.
Always a treat to have lunch at Shellona Beach. The service is relaxed but attentive and the view from the dining room cannot be beat. The food here is also always outstanding. We went for lunch as a large group and our preferred way to dine here is to just order heavy apps and then one or two mains for the table. Highly recommend the Shellona salad, truffle pizza, trio of dips and the lemon chicken. Everyone also really enjoyed the crispy chicken burger.

Enjoyed our beach day at shellona. Beautiful waters and very chill vibes. 10 minutes walk from the ferry. Bring water shoes and snorkeling gear. Be prepared to set up on the sand a lot of shells, but then u can bring your own stuff. With the beach chairs you have to eat and drink their food items. Very relaxing chill vibes.$$$$$

a location on the beach, with a superb view, you can go to the beach and then have lunch. An intimate, beautiful place, with very good service and extraordinary food. I recommend it, I always come back with pleasure. It is one of my favorite places in st Barth.
Oana M — Google review
Don’t even get me started! This place was out of a movie! The atmosphere complimented with a wide variety of exquisite food puts this place above any other ocean side restaurant in St. Barths. The food of choice from me was the Mahi burger which was served with a delicious side of fries! The food blew me away but the views put me over the top! This place was the nicest fine dining I have ever visited and if I was to go back to St. barths I would go again! Although this place is on the pricey side, the food and atmosphere is a must visit! I loved my experience and would recommend this place to anyone visiting this beautiful island! 9.5/10
Xander K — Google review
Shellona is one of those places that just feels like the definition of a perfect St. Barths afternoon. It’s right on Shell Beach — casual but beautiful — and the whole vibe is effortless. You can walk straight from the sand onto the deck and settle into one of those long, lazy lunches that somehow turns into late afternoon drinks. The food is Mediterranean-style, fresh, and really well done. We ate at pretty much every top restaurant on the island during the trip — but the lobster spaghetti at Shellona still stands out. It was easily the most expensive pasta I ordered the entire trip (and that’s saying something in St. Barths), but honestly? Worth every cent. Perfectly cooked, rich without being heavy, and exactly the kind of over-the-top island moment you want once you’re here. The rosé flows, the music is always the right energy — easygoing during the day and starts to pick up a little late as the afternoon rolls in. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time in the best way. Definitely one of my go-to spots every time I’m in St. Barths — you can’t leave without doing at least one afternoon here. Oh the salt they use, Sal de Ibiza, is amazing but buy it on amazon- cheaper and way easier to purchase multiple times.
Brendan B — Google review
Visited on a public holiday, and it was one of the few places open for lunch. Being on a beach, it is absolutely perfect. The food is great, and the cocktail menu is creatively written. Price wise, you definitely need to watch out for the specials. My husband's King Crab legs with pasta was €375. Easily three times what we would have paid for the same dish in New York City. Otherwise it was a great spot for a memorable meal and beach day.
Heather T — Google review
Amazing beach club on a pristine section of seashell sand just a stones throw from Gustavia. The Mediterranean seafood menu is fresh and beautifully prepared all around. The lobster pasta was the star on our visit. Service in the restaurant was excellent, but there were long gaps in beach club cocktail service. The atmosphere and view are impeccable, lively with a DJ spinning. Wonderful choice for a fun, afternoon lunch on the beach.

Nikki Beach in St. Barths is a must-visit destination offering an excellent menu, refreshing drinks, and a beautiful beach setting. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. With attentive waiters and a DJ playing great music all day long, the atmosphere is lively and energetic. On Sundays, the beach club hosts wild late seatings that shouldn't be missed, providing fantastic views of the beach and entertaining airplane watching.
Nikki Beach Saint Barth is pure paradise! 🌴✨ I was able to dine outdoors with a gorgeous ocean view and the vibe was everything relaxed, classy, and full of energy. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Their cocktails were perfectly mixed and matched the beachy atmosphere. The staff was friendly, the music was just right, and the whole experience felt like a luxury escape. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in St. Barts 10/10 all around! 🍣🍹

The food here was delicious! I’m so happy my friends and I stopped here for lunch. We all tried a few different things and thoroughly enjoyed all that we ordered. My favorite was the tuna tacos, I would go back specifically for those lol. I would definitely recommend and revisit. Everything was fresh and the service was really pleasant which is a huge deal especially at a beach club restaurant.

Had an amazing time at Nikki Beach! Great music and definitely a great party! Highly recommend the day bed as it makes for an incredible time at the beach. Drinks were amazing especially the margarita. Sushi was top very fresh and had great flavor. Service was incredible.

What an incredible atmosphere and dining experience this turned out to be! The setting is spectacular, with phenomenal views of the bay of St Jean. The live DJ and saxophone player also added to the positive vibes! The staff was absolutely amazing, starting with our sommelier Billy, who had great wine recommendations. Our assistant waiter Lucie was so friendly, and our server Vivien was a superstar! He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a phenomenal dining experience! The food was also ridiculously good, starting with the fish tacos, the sushi pizza, and the octopus was fantastic! I loved my sushi roll, and my buddy couldn't get enough of his truffle pasta! What an amazing place to go to, and please do not read all the negative reviews about this place being racist. It is a complete lie, as we had many different ethnic groups sitting around us. Merci mille fois Vivien, tu es une légende mon chum!!

We visited on a Friday in April 2025. It was absolute mayhem - so much fun! We had a large group for lunch and ordered sushi with lots of large format bottles of Rose and Champagne. This place is really all about the spectacle and the vibe - dancing on the tables and singing along with the DJ. Lunch starts at 12:30 and you have about 3 hours until you head to the beach and they reset for their next seating. It is not cheap - pricing came out to about $400 per person for lunch and drinks and another $200 per person for daybeds and more Rose and Champagne. If you want to be even more a spectacle, the very large format bottles come with a show and a much higher price. We had a great time, one of the highlights of our trip.

Nestled in the luxury of St. Barts, La Petite Plage is a charming waterfront dining spot at The Port of Gustavia. With its relaxed beach-inspired ambiance, sandy floors, and chic wooden decor, it offers delightful views of boats in the harbor. The gourmet menu, curated by Michelin-starred chef Eric Frechon and executed by French chef Alexandre Delage, promises an exquisite dining experience.
We frankly had a wonderful experience at Le Petite Plage. Our reservation was at 7pm and we were promptly seated outside on the patio along the harbor. The food was simple and very good. We had the Charred Broccoli appetizer, followed by the roasted chicken, beef filet, and ravioli, with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. Every dish was excellent, and for dessert we had another winner with the delicious “giant cookie for two”. Our server was pleasant, though a little overworked toward the end of the meal. The only negatives were (1) getting our bill took longer than expected (as the server was running three or four new tables) and (2) the beef was slightly overcooked. We did not read the reviews before going but I am surprised by some of the negativity. It seems most are focused on (1) prices (which, yes, it is expensive but that’s the island) and (2) on a desire to “party” at the restaurant late at night (that carries no interest for me, so I cannot relate). In terms of our experience, it was everything we wanted.
Griffin D — Google review
This restaurant is exquisite! The food is delicious from the tomato/cucumber/feta salad, steak, mash potatoes, pasta and fresh bread. The server was one of the best, his name if I recall correctly was Anton. His recommendations, patience, and attention to detail were top notch. The music, sandy floors, flower decor, candlelight and table with views of the harbor were mesmerizing. My sincere gratitude for the hospitality and memorable evening. A Must Visit!

Had dinner here tonight, the food is delicious and memorable, the snacked sprawls were delightful and truffle mash potatoes tasty! Our server Cami was lovely! HOWEVER this place is not getting 5/5 because they allow people TO SMOKE CIGARETTES in front of the outside tables. We sat outside by entrance and these 3 men were smoking blatantly and sadly the servers didn’t ask them to move away. Was not appropriate for a restaurant, it’s disgusting and ruins the experience.
Jackie — Google review
Of all the places that I have gone dancing on the island, this is my least favorite. I’m not a huge fan of house music so that didn’t help but the whole group agreed this was not our cup of tea. We came with a large group for our friend’s birthday and stayed for not even an hour. We had a great table right by the DJ but I find it a bummer when I know 0% of the music. Just not my vibe.
Maggie J — Google review
Loved the food. And service was fantastic Abd the view of the harbor is gorgeous. My photo didn’t come out so great but the steak was amazing.
Dani T — Google review
Overall fun atmosphere. Unfortunately our waiter, Jordan, ruined our experience and the manager did nothing to help. We were told we could not just order a few small plates and drinks (which is a lie) and got talked into a 140 euro plate of meat- whatever- we confirmed the price multiple times with him. When the meat was brought to our table it was raw. We asked for medium rare. It was sent back and returned to us charred. Then when we got the bill the meat was 280 euro. He said this is what we ordered and he knew it wasn’t. Also, we ordered another round of drinks (multiple martinis, one was gin and others vodka) he brought all vodka and said that’s what we ordered, even though it was not. They would not correct any of their mistakes and were extremely rude. Jordan was trying to scam us and it was very evident. The manager said they would not remove the incorrect martini or the overcharged, charred meat because the owner would flip out.

Was in St Barths and was told this place was an absolute MUST. Well to our surprise we were not impressed at all. We sat outside with a view of the water but there were so many people walking back and forth (drunk people) it seemed a bit sketchy. We got the wine menu and they asked us right away what wine we wanted we hadn’t even seen the dinner menu so how could we pick a wine yet when we aren’t even sure of what we are eating? The service was very rushed and very lousy. You could tell they wanted us to leave because we were the only people left outside yet it was only 11pm and they don't close until 2am. Food was poor with very high prices across the entire menu. Ravioli was served super cold. Had the veal chop which was ok.. We always look over the dessert menu but not here felt rushed + dinner was awful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, head to bonito!!

Gyp Sea Beach Houses - St Barth is located just a minute's walk from the vibrant St. Jean beach, known for its inviting waters and lively atmosphere. The hotel offers a unique ambiance and exceptional service, with staff members like Ninnon and Erwan standing out for their attentive care. Guests can enjoy a peaceful and magical experience, with breakfast included in the stay being particularly delightful.
We had the most amazing experience here. The staff were incredible. Ambiance was unlike any other hotel we have ever been to! The turtles at breakfast were a nice surprise! The staff while ever present were very stealthy and out of the way, making it peaceful and magical..like.. how did my room get cleaned? loll... Ninnon was a true gem! As was Erwan! The staff at breakfast ( which is included and DELICIOUS) were super kind! And although the beach club was closed to the public (following an out of control Elan Musk Mike Tyson Kelce Travis Drake party) it was open to hotel guests and so we were the envy of St. Jean Beach (as tohow the heck did we get to use it and noone else can;) Even there! the young staff were so sweet!!! Bohemian Bliss in St. Barths – A New Favorite Home Away from Home We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Bohemian Blue villa at Gyp Sea Villas in St. Barths, and it's safe to say we’ve found our new island home. The villa itself is stunning—chic, well-appointed, and full of character. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the luxurious furnishings to the captivating collection of eclectic art. One particularly special touch: several pieces were by an artist from Lisbon we know and love, which made the space feel deeply personal and familiar. The location is unbeatable—directly on the white sands of St. Jean beach, with crystal-clear turquoise water steps away. It’s ideally situated between Gyp Sea Beach Club and Nikki Beach, but still feels wonderfully private and serene. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Loic, the villa’s exceptional butler and all-around experience curator. He anticipated our every need, from arranging airport pickup to ensuring the Avis reception stayed open past hours for our arrival. He served us a beautiful breakfast each morning and offered fantastic local recommendations throughout our stay. Loic is truly the heartbeat of the Gyp Sea experience—warm, professional, and absolutely indispensable. The daily housekeeping was flawless, and the villa always felt fresh and pristine. At night, the combination of luxurious bedding and the sound of the waves created a sleep experience that was nothing short of perfect. This was an amazing vacation. We’re already planning our return. Gyp Sea Villas has set a new standard, and Bohemian Blue has our hearts.

L'Isola is a renowned restaurant in St. Barths, offering fine Italian dining with an island twist. Situated on the hillside in Gustavia, this establishment is considered one of the best on the island. The head chef, originally from Rome, prepares authentic Italian cuisine using only the finest ingredients imported from Italy. The menu features a wide selection of homemade pastas and delectable dishes such as veal chops topped with sage and Roman-style grilled artichokes.
We had such a great dinner here last year that we made sure it was on our itinerary to come when we were in town for my friend’s birthday. The service was attentive and I loved the dark sexy ambiance of the dining room. Our group ordered several appetizers to share including the eggplant Parmesan, mozzarella & prosciutto, prosciutto with melon and the mixed salad. We also shared cacio e Pepe and the penne all’arrabbiata. For my main I ordered the fettuccine bolognese and we shared several dishes of the tiramisu for dessert. Stand out dishes were the cacio e Pepe, eggplant Parmesan, spaghetti carbonara and the tiramisu. Truly, I didn’t have a bite of anything that I didn’t love. Only miss of the evening was that one of my friends ordered a risotto that was inedibly undercooked. Overall, I really love this traditional Italian restaurant and would highly recommend it to friends coming to the island.

Best Italian on the island! Great service and very good quality food. Amazing fresh pasta, warm baguette, and more. Some dishes, like the burrata, are a bit too expensive for what they are. But it is all fantastic!

This was hands down one of my favorite meals that we had while on the island (and we ate a lot of good food). All of the food was delicious! Super traditional, simple, but perfectly done Italian food. The dining room is traditional and charming and the service is top notch. Beef carpaccio, grilled octopus, lobster pasta, shrimp pasta, grilled sea bass, truffle mashed potatoes, and a perfectly cooked filet. *drool* I’m making myself hungry posting about this. If you want a nice dinner in St. Barths, this is definitely one of the places you should stop. Make sure to make a reservation.

One of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever visited from the exceptional service to the incredible food and drinks this is a must when visiting St. Barths. The prosciutto was incredible, cut very thin paired with the fresh cherry tomatoes and the Burrata was a great way to begin the culinary journey. The gnocchi and ravioli were crafted to perfection accompanied by a very balanced pommaddoro sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection accompanied by one of the most flavorful artichoke sides I’ve eaten. The addition on mint to the artichokes is very memorable. Lastly do not skip on the desserts especially the semi fredo as it was sweet, salty, crunchy, and sour exactly what is wanted after a beautiful meal. Highly recommend!

We had high hopes for L’Isola in Gustavia, but the experience was disappointing from the start. The bread service set the tone—one breadstick arrived with the plastic wrapper still on it, as if it had just come out of a bulk shipment box. Alongside it was a piece of warm bread, but it was nothing fresh or memorable. Next came the salads, which were priced between $35 and $40. Despite the high price, they were just basic greens with no special ingredients or presentation. One of the salads had a few small bites of lobster—maybe three pieces total—which felt more like a garnish than a feature. The main courses didn’t redeem the experience. The pasta, advertised as homemade, tasted like it came straight out of a grocery store box. The sauce lacked any real flavor or character, and the portion size was surprisingly small. We were so disappointed by the overall meal that we didn’t even stay for dessert or coffee. It was an underwhelming and overpriced experience, and it’s hard to understand how this place has managed to stay open so long. There are far better dining options on the island. Service was “good”.
Eric L — Google review
You don’t expect to find legit Italian on a tiny island in the Caribbean, but alas, this is it. This dark, intimate space is a serene sanctuary that turns out fantastic Italian classics, stunning pastas and offers a killer wine list. Servers are engaging and fun, offering great insight into the menu and tending to your every need. It doesn’t come cheap, but not much in St Barths does. Highly recommended for a date night or quiet dinner with friends.

Our dinning here was awesome. High quality service in a beautiful space. Everyone was speaking Italian. Really great cocktails. We actually returned one night for drinks. They can accommodate all group sizes. Excellent wine menu. The Tuscan soup was so good and so was the Milanese veal chop.

This place was probably good 5-10 years ago, now it’s overrated. Food was bland, really nothing special. We ordered simple dishes but somehow the restaurant wasn’t able to make them tasty. Fish was almost frozen, pasta was bland. Extremely expensive (even for St. Barth), simple burrata shouldn’t be 70€ 👀

Sushi restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque waterfront of Gustavia, Baz Bar is a vibrant hotspot that perfectly captures the essence of island life. This lively venue offers an enticing blend of fresh sushi and Asian-inspired dishes, all while providing stunning views of the Caribbean waters. Guests can indulge in hand-rolled sushi and sashimi, as well as delightful options like chicken curry with coconut and signature Bento boxes.
Fabulous croque monsiuer with a salad instead of fries - refreshing in hot sun. Light and breezy. Expect French styled service, laid back and easy going. No rush. The iced tea had a light red fruit , origin unknown to us, and a delightful break from standard tea. Little hole away from the street and facing the harbor. Lively stop.

Not a great experience: The waitstaff was sweet & helpful but that didn’t distract from the fact that our food took approx 1 hour to come out, that I ordered the only item on the menu marked “vegetarian” (the papaya salad) & it arrived with shrimp, & then, to boot, we ordered sides of rice & they took 20 additional minutes…. Amazingly, there was absolutely no attempts to make amends for the fact that shrimp came in the one “vegetarian” item on the menu (understanding some “vegetarians” eat fish - I do not & had discussed this with the waitress). Exasperated, we asked for the check & the papaya salad was on it! We spoke with another server who asked if we informed the waitress that I was “allergic to shrimp”. Again, we reiterated I am a vegetarian & had informed the waitress. All I have to say is thankfully I am not allergic to shrimp because I would have been in serious trouble & no one would have cared at this restaurant. I choose to not eat shrimp & did not want to start tonight. We had no offer of “I’m sorry”, “have a drink” or “dessert on us” ….nothing. Go anywhere else, especially if you are a vegetarian, because this was the only restaurant in St barts that we went to all week that didn’t seem to accommodate or even care.

Thai restaurant
Black Ginger in Gustavia offers an exquisite dining experience with authentic and refined Thai cuisine. The head chef and sous chef, both trained by renowned Thai chef Vichit Mukura, present carefully crafted dishes using the freshest ingredients and spices. The luxurious yet comfortable dining environment includes a unique interior courtyard that opens to the starry sky, creating a contemporary atmosphere. From appetizers to desserts, every dish reflects the chefs' expertise honed in prestigious establishments such as the Mandarin Oriental.
We found this place after a morning on jet skis, and it was just what we needed. Really, yummy authentic Thai food. We had chicken satay, Massaman beef curry, and Pad Thai. All were fresh and delicious. This is a smaller establishment where most carry out. There are a couple of seats, and they were nice enough to heat everything up so we could eat right there. Just lovely!

We went to the Thai to Go side…which is separate from main restaurant. The lady working was nice and the food ended up tasting good…but we paid $140 for cold food in plastic containers for 2 people. I was so shocked when I saw the bill that I was speechless. I was tired, dehydrated, and hungry after a lot of walking and thought that maybe we had ordered a ton of food…but no. Just enough for 2 people and a leftovers meal for 1 person. I am attaching my receipt for reference. The plates of food all had pricing next to them…and upon first glance it seemed extremely reasonable. We got the smallest container option for most of our options, so figured we would be paying near what the pricing stated on the signs. Nope, not even close. Just to put it in perspective, they charged $32.40 for medium container of noodles with vegetables (pic attached)…absolutely nothing special and our least favorite item purchased. But the audacity to charge that much is just mind blowing…Cold, Overcooked Noodles with Veggies…does it get any more basic and cheap?!! Luckily we did get 5 small white rice containers…we are making sure to eat every last bit of this meal as each grain of rice is like a flake of gold. Can’t waste it! If we had gone to their sit-down restaurant next door for dinner and had experienced a hot meal in a nice ambiance with table service, then I would not be leaving this review…I would expect to pay this for a nice sit down meal on this island. But for basic (still good) cold Thai food in plastic containers??? This place is either a serious ripoff or made a mistake. This meal was our biggest complaint about St Barts. Other than this unfortunate experience, we absolutely loved our time there.

Pricey Thai food. Not better than any other much cheaper Thai food I've had. Trying to be more but you need to do more than raise prices and lower the lights so you can't get a decent photo.
J M — Google review
It's a pricey Thai restaurant. But what do you expect on one of the most expensive Caribbean islands? Every appetizer is over €30, and they are just soup, dumplings, spring rolls, etc. We didn't order any appetizer. For main dishes, we had ground pork with Thai basil (and green beans but for whatever reason it's not listed in the description), which was pretty good. We also had fish in Massaman curry sauce. Even though our waitress mentioned it's a bit sweet, I was still surprised by how sweet it was. I asked our dishes to be cooked medium spicy, but she said she would bring hot sauces to the table, as if the kitchen couldn't cook according to customer's request. Three pieces of fish, each the size of a third of my palm, cost €36. Anyway, I've had much better Thai food at one-third the price. C'est la vie.

Bar de L'Oubli is a classic and historic island bar located in Gustavia, offering a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. Despite not being strictly on the beach, it provides stunning views across the bay and is just three minutes from the beach. The bar has a speakeasy vibe and offers creative drinks, making it perfect for a nightcap and mingling with other singles.
The location is excellent since it’s just at the exit from the St Barths ferry terminal. As soon as we arrived this was the first place on the agenda. The food was pretty good. Service was a bit typically French haphazard with some long waits and things missed in the ordering process. Still that ambience was nice and my lovely girlfriend and I had a great time.

Bar De L’oubli offers a great casual spot for lunch with a nice selection of dishes and a relaxed atmosphere. The goat cheese salad was absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced! However, the service for our large party was just okay. We felt a bit rushed, which took away from the experience, but the food itself did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a quick bite in a convenient location, this is still a solid choice. With a little more attentiveness to larger groups, this spot could easily be a five-star experience!

It’s such a mixed bag. Location is great. Food is slightly above average. Prices are expensive. Drinks are hit and miss - some short pours - and then surprisingly the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had - but the second Bloody was nothing like the first. Service is painful - I swear the staff take classes in eye avoidance and walking from task to task without ever looking up or around. Nothing happens until you wave and catch somebodies eye - which can take an eternity. Once the boss/manager lady leaves (at 3pm today) it kinda goes to 💩. Early shift came back to party with tourists and were bringing in their own bottled beers and drinks from outside. Disappointing- there has to be better experiences in this amazing town. Maybe I just caught them on the staff holiday party.🎈 no c

Drinks are ok and food is overpriced and small portions (27€ for 7 slices of Tuna Tataki), they do the minimum for presentation and it is average. Service is really slow to so I don’t recommend it, multiple other choices in the area which are better!

Tucked away behind shops and restaurants, Fish Corner Food and Market is a local gem known for its fresh seafood and knowledgeable staff. Owned by fishermen Johnny Laplace and Nicholas Lebon, this small restaurant in Gustavia offers a menu featuring classic dishes like ceviche and Mahi-Mahi Fish and Chips, as well as daily chef's specials. The emphasis on quality ingredients is evident in their flavorful seafood dishes infused with Caribbean flavors.
Excellent, everything was very good, waitresses are attentive. We had tuna rillettes, tuna tartare and Mahi, mousse au chocolat. Decent price. Perfect.
Hokulea C — Google review
Good decent seafood especially the grill octopus but the local grouper fillet is off with the curry sauce in it . I don’t think that’s a great combination with curry . The ceviche was ok and a little bland.
Vu T — Google review
We enjoyed a variety of dishes, beginning with the tuna tartare and ceviche, both of which were well-prepared. For the main course, we had triggerfish and lobster. The triggerfish was fresh and flavorful, a definite highlight. However, the lobster experience was disappointing. The waiter selected a live lobster from the tank and presented it to us, which was a nice touch, but then claimed it weighed 1100 grams without showing us the scale—I would have appreciated transparency with the weighing process. Unfortunately, the lobster itself was a letdown; it had an unpleasant chlorine-like taste, reminiscent of a public restroom, and was tough to chew. I’d recommend skipping it altogether.

Good French food and friendly staff. I had fried octopus and it wad cooked to perfection: soft but not chewy. Prices appear to be reasonable by american standards. Staff speaks both French and English. Accept cash dollars and euros as well as MasterCard and Visa. No Amex. There are about 20 air-conditioned and 12 outdoor seats. The entrance to the restaurant is on the left side from L'Oublie bar.

We visited Eddy’s last night and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The soft lighting and ambient atmosphere created such a welcoming, cozy vibe — it was the perfect setting for a special night out. The staff were incredible: smiling, happy, fun, and full of great knowledge, especially when it came to the wine list. It felt like they genuinely loved what they do, and it made such a difference. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The flavors were subtle yet so beautifully balanced that I found myself wanting more with every bite. It was also my wife’s birthday, and the team went above and beyond — offering free shots and singing happy birthday with so much enthusiasm. It really made the night feel special and personal. I honestly can’t wait to go back. It does surprise me to see a few harsh reviews out there — to be honest, it sounds like some people just want something to whinge about. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful, and I’d recommend Eddy’s in a heartbeat!

The setting is unpretentious yet utterly captivating, with a relaxed, island vibe that encourages you to unwind and savor every moment. Whether you're enjoying a romantic dinner for two or a lively gathering with friends, Eddy's Ghetto provides the perfect backdrop for a truly special occasion. We had the pork belly bao bun and the shiitake dumplings as appetizers, and we both had the Udon noodles in coconut curry as the main course. I must say the bao bun and dumplings were good but the Udon noodles was mediocre. And you'd better order some appetizers because you would still be hungry if you only had the noodles because the portion is pitiful (barely half in a bowl). The menu actually lists additional prices if you want extra noodles, eggs, etc. (Side note to management: don't nickel and dime your customers--just offer enough food.) I'd suggest you go to Eddy's for Asian flavored food for better value of your money.

Late Review, but this is one of my favorite places in St Barts. The drinks and food were amazing. The best part of the night was meeting a fellow New Yorker who took us to a private Room Filled with different types of RUM. Of course we spent the rest of the night there until closing. I recommend this place and I’ll definitely return. Not sure if I’ll get a chance to go to the private rum room again (since it’s only 3 ppl on the whole island who has the code) but I’ll definitely come again (next week) 💯

What. An. Experience. The selection of whiskies, bourbons, etc, are carefully curated, and the service -- this place is next level. You need only walk past the bar to realize the amount of time and expertise required to obtain their inventory. Chris (owner) is easily a contender for the world's most interesting man. Our time in St Barth's was in part built around restaurants and bars (with two children in tow!), and this was, by far, an epic experience that my husband has yet to stop talking about. Japanese restaurant
Kinugawa Saint-Barthélemy is a premier restaurant that offers a fusion of gourmet Japanese cuisine and the French-inspired lifestyle of Saint Barth. Located on Rue Jeanne dArc, near the waterfront in the Port of Gustavia, this elegant establishment serves exquisite sushi, sashimi, tempura, tataki, grilled fish or meat, and caviar. The restaurant's ambiance exudes sophistication with its natural tones and wood decor accented by splashes of azure.
We came here to celebrate New Year’s, and overall, it was a good experience. The host was very friendly and welcoming, even though the place was a bit crowded. She was incredibly sweet and accommodating. However, the service for food was quite slow. The sommelier, was very friendly and attentive, truly understanding what we wanted, so I’d give him high marks for service. As for the food, while it wasn’t extraordinary, it was quite good, and the ambiance of the place was excellent. I think I’ll come back again during a regular, non-festive time to enjoy a less hectic atmosphere.
Fabiola F — Google review
Kinugawa was delicious. We greatly enjoyed the dinner and service, and it was a nice change of pace from the other pasta-heavy menus on the island. The black cod bites in particular were unexpectedly delicious.
Griffin D — Google review
If you have not been to Kinugawa yet, you must go! The cocktails are most likely the best ones in the island and the food is to die for! Great ambience and music too!
Anika C — Google review
went to Kinugawa and honestly found it extremely overpriced for what it is. The food lacked flavor and was really disappointing. It just didn’t feel worth it at all — like throwing money in the trash. Definitely not something I’d recommend
Maria K — Google review
Great atmosphere Very professional server that was helpful with the menu, suggestions, & very attentive service Very fresh fish/seafood options
Tyler E — Google review
Unfortunately, this place didn’t live up to expectations. The portions were extremely small — especially for the price. We ordered salmon and didn’t even get utensils, which made the whole experience feel pretty careless. The food itself was just okay — nothing memorable, and definitely not worth the hype. On top of that, the service was slow and inattentive. It felt like we were more of an afterthought than actual customers. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re looking for something light and don’t mind being underwhelmed.
Patrick — Google review
Fellow Americans be careful we have been food poison from this restaurant, also server was sick and coughing on everyone foods as well. To the manager: First start by serving fresh food instead of who knows what you gave us that night, Probably fish that was 5 days old!! Second when your employee are sick as hell send them home instead of contaminating the entire restaurant. Make yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
John — Google review
Food was good but nothing to scream about. The service was also good but may be too much because waiters were hovering over us. Let people enjoy the meal and the company they are with. We did eat a bit early but eating on a weekday I should not feel rushed.

La Guérite Beach in St Barth is a favorite spot for lunch, offering a dining experience that excites the taste buds and gets you moving to the music. The beach club features delicious food with plenty of small plates to share, creative mixed drinks, and friendly service. The world-class restaurant boasts a gorgeous beach setting that's unparalleled on the island. Visitors praise the warm yet professional service and recommend it as a must-visit while staying at Eden Rock.
This beach restaurant is absolutely delicious and a great spot to enjoy with your family. It has a mellow vibe during the first seating, making it perfect for a relaxed meal. Afterward, you can grab some sun beds and chill by the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel so welcome. The food is amazing—the lobster pasta is a standout, the fish is super fresh, and the crudités are crisp and refreshing. We’ve been here a few times and love it every single time. Highly recommended!
Fabiola F — Google review
La Guérite Beach aesthetics was nice and pleasing to the eye. Our service could’ve been better we noticed that the waitress brought out our bread and that’s it but for other guest around us she placed the bread and prepared the olive oil plate for them. Also we asked about beach chairs and was told they were fully booked and the only option they had available was a cabana which was 300. We wanted to enjoy the beach so we went on a purchase a cabana, because it was my friend’s birthday. We noticed that the beach beds they claimed to be fully booked that were 100 was never occupied and we were there from 12pm-5:30pm. Also after checking our bank statements they over charged us. Drinks were extremely over priced it was 25 dollars for a margarita that comes in a regular cocktail glass. My chicken was underwhelming and my zucchini side was thin raw slices. It was not sautéed and flavorful. My friend’s lobster pasta was 150 once again extremely overpriced for the portion size. I think the waitress could’ve did something nice for my friend’s birthday and for a 300 cabana it should’ve came with something.
Sequoia P — Google review
The service here was disappointing. We reserved 10 front row daybeds in celebration of a milestone birthday and traveled from St. Maarten arriving shortly after 11am. We were one of the first guests to arrive. We had lunch reservations for 12:30p. Around 11:15a, there was a torrential downpour of rain. Clearly, weather was out of their control so no fault of theirs. They did seat us early in the empty restaurant to escape the rain, which was appreciated. We ordered appetizers and our entrees. We ordered a bottle of wine, and several specialty cocktails and champagne. The appetizers were good but most of us were disappointed with our main courses, including the lobster pasta. While deciding on dessert, we ordered shots to celebrate the birthday girl. We asked for another cocktail menu and were told we couldn't get one because they had second seating and we would have to get up soon. Since we couldn't go to the daybeds we reserved because it was still pouring rain, we asked what we would have to do to keep the table longer. The first server told us we would have to buy a bottle minimum 1000 EUR. We spoke to a manager who confirmed if we spent a minimum 1000 EUR on bottles we could stay for another two hours, which would have corresponded to when our driver was scheduled to pick us up. We agreed and then someone else, who didn't even introduce himself or give his title told us that we would have to spend a minimum of 5000 EUR. We explained that we just spoke with a manager, who told us a different minimum. We asked for clarification. He left and came back and said, it's actually a 6000 EUR minimum. At this point it felt discriminatory and an attempt to price us out based on their preconceived notions on what we were willing to spend. If they had said 6000 EUR initially, that would have been one thing, we would have discussed it and decided if we wanted to stay. But to give us a number, we agree to it and then increase that number twice in 5 minutes showed us they did not want our business. I will not mention any other confounding factors that I believe played a role, but it very much made us feel unwanted at their establishment. The food was mid and the music sucked. Will never return.

Let me start off by saying I have not been to France or Europe or yet, however I’ve always imagined that this is the closest thing to it. We Took an early morning ferry from Saint Maarten so we arrived as they were opening. Everyone was super friendly, very accommodating. I have not visited France or Europe yet, but I’m already deeply grateful for the love they put into their cuisine. We were served with some of the freshest bread I’ve ever tasted to pair with real fresh pressed olive oil and sea salt to enjoy. They even brought out fresh olives with the seeds in them to snack on. Now to some this may not be a big deal but I really appreciate the freshness of the ingredients. My main dish was the Gnocchis A La Tomate Frachie and my wife ordered the Pates La Guerite which both were chefs kiss. The entire staff was super nice and made sure enjoyed our dining experience. After lunch we ordered bottle service and 2 day beds and enjoyed the remainder of the day swimming and laying out. Absolutely one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

The food is delicious. Lots of small plates to share, the bread is delicious and the mixed drinks creative! Thank to Hugo our server with a smile, he created a nice sweet drink for me. Gin, yuzu, elderflower and ginger liqueur a new favorite. The food was so good. Plus gorgeous models walking around showcasing 100% Capri clothes. This cafe is an absolute gem across the ferry stop. The outdoor seating area is fantastic : it's spacious, well-maintained, and makes for a relaxing escape from the daily grind. I am constantly impressed by the quality of their beverages. The fresh juices are vibrant and genuinely refreshing on a hot sunny day in St.Barths.. For coffee drinkers, the iced coffees are next-level; smooth and delicious. We stopped here twice, once upon arriving and the other before leaving the island. And it was worth it! For food we ordered falafel bowl with quinoa, edamame, carrots, bell peppers with tahini dressing.....it was delicious 😋 Staff was friendly and smiling throughout our dining experience 😃 Highly recommend 👌

The food was awesome. This restaurant was our first spot on St. Barths from the ferry from St. Martin. The Acai bowls are fresh, vibrant and flavorful. The smoked salmon omelette with feta and spinach was very good. My only complaint is that I wish the portion size was more. All in all, good atmosphere in the shaded common area, a nice break from the heat.

Lovely restaurant with fresh ingredients and friendly staff! We enjoyed delicious whipped omelettes with smoked salmon and greek salad for lunch. They also make their own teas- and we found those extremely tasty and refreshing as well. The food was very good being that it's on the ocean.Of course, we asked for all seafood. Service was quick and friendly, the wine list was extensive being a french Island 🇲🇫 of course we went with french wines. If there is any, the only drawback I would say is that, of course, being on an island would prefer to eat looking at the ocean, this one is in front of the major road of downtown Gustavia, But there is ample time for you to roam.Around other beaches and get your fill of the beautiful waters of the island. First and foremost, the drinks are outstanding. Unfortunately the service was slow. Not the making of the drinks, which was just fine, but they seemed overwhelmed by a handful of parties and the tables weren't half filled. There was one bartender and one server for the night and both seemed at capacity. Again the drinks were wonderfully nuanced and satisfying. The manager was understanding and it got better. Nao Beach Club in St Barths is beautiful, very upscale while also being relaxed and fun. The food was AMAZING everything we had was incredible and the service was top notch. The servers were so attentive and the owner/manager (not sure which) even cut up the massive fish for us.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The dining room on the beach is a whole vibe and the service was so fun. The DJ was amazing and the music managed to be lively without being so loud that we couldn’t hear each other at the table. The food was fine/good but come here for the ambiance! We enjoyed the sashimi, the rolls, the pasta and the eggplant. Skip the Wagyu burger sliders and the Caesar salad. We ordered bottle service for our friend’s birthday and the presentation was absolutely bonkers even for St. Barths. A true delight.
Maggie J — Google review
The menu was a bit limited and way more pricey than I expected. We couldn’t get in the water because of all the seaweed. And I also told the hostess that we were there celebrating a birthday and I was expecting something special for my sister. But it never happened. Other than those couple of things, my family and I had a great time. Our waiter was fantastic, the food and drinks were delicious, and the views were still 10/10! And the live DJ was a nice touch.

Be careful here, they often overcharge or ‘accidentally’ add things to the bill ‘by mistake’. There are many incidents of this allegedly happening at this venue. The staff are trained to sell very expensive items that customers don’t fully understand. Examples were a steak for 750 euros and a fish for 900 euros. Locals avoid this place and their sister restaurant in Gustavia. The music, food and service are very good, but BEWARE the additional extras and double check prices and bill

If you’re on St Barths, this beach club is a must do. Make a reservation and plan to be there all afternoon. We had a 1230 reservation and didn’t leave until 6pm. Max, our server, took incredible care of us and the entire staff is incredibly attentive. It was our favorite meal on the island and we are already planning on coming back. The sushi, caesar salad, crudo, beet salad, crazy pot dessert…just order everything. We cant stop talking about the service, it was the best we had on the entire island. The vibe was also great…combo of a party and chill club. Just get here and enjoy yourself!!

I don’t know who in their right mind would give this place 5 stars. Got there at like 12, place was empty and they had to check if we had reservations. PS…it stayed empty till around 4. At most there were 6 tables full. The food was disgusting and overpriced (but probably the standard pricing in this area). I had FOOD POISONING from the wagyu beef sliders which were so nasty that I only ate 1.5 out of 3 even though they were $50 and the size of a quarter each. Service was trash. They only cater to rich French people or people with large parties and larger bills. Took exactly 37 minutes to get the check. Drinks were disgusting and $30 each. The beach on this side of the island is disgusting, filled with sandflies, seaweed and garbage. Walk across the rock that separates the beaches to cleaner waters and well maintained areas. I’m so shocked that such an “upscale” restaurant would not even bother maintaining the trash that surrounds it. Just skip this one, you’ll thank me later.

The good: The food and drinks were excellent, and the lively atmosphere made for a fun experience. The restaurant is beautiful, with a stunning view of the ocean. The bad: Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to expectations. The place seemed understaffed, and while our waiter was friendly, he was constantly rushing between tables and didn’t check in often enough to make the experience feel smooth. We ordered turbot and Dover sole, but he dropped off the food so quickly and left without giving us any sauces included with the meals. At one point, I had to ask for someone to clean the puddle of condensation from my drink off the table, and it took over 30 minutes before anyone asked if I wanted another drink. These were minor details, but they added up and detracted from our experience. I hope it was just an off night because, overall, the restaurant is fantastic.

We came for lunch with a large group on a Saturday afternoon and had a nice leisurely meal. Upon being seated we ordered several appetizers for the table to share including the truffle pizza, crispy salmon sushi, Philly steak special and the shrimp. Apps were good but the standouts were the crispy salmon sushi and the Philly steak. For my main I ordered the kale and broccoli salad as well as the hamachi ceviche and both of them were pretty delicious. My friends were underwhelmed by the cheeseburger, club sandwich and classic Caesar salad but others enjoyed the lobster salad and the chicken. Their espresso martini also had a super cute presentation . The view from the dining room was spectacular but the service was a bit inattentive overall. Would still always recommend this spot to friends and come back when we are in town.

- Caution: Possible overcharging targeting non–French-speaking customers – review your bill carefully - Food was above average. It’s still hotel food folks. - Excellent ambiance and vibe - Prices are higher than at most other restaurants on the island. My party was presented the wrong bill on two separate occasions during the same visit. Both times, the server brought over the credit card machine pushing for payment and quickly presenting the bill—each containing items we hadn’t ordered. The first included a bottle of alcohol we never requested; the second featured an expensive fish dish. While the items were similar to what we ordered, they weren’t correct, which felt more calculated than accidental.

Le Tamarin is a must-visit restaurant in St. Barths, known for its beautiful outdoor setting within a garden. The ambiance and scenery are unparalleled, making it a paradise for visitors. The attentive service and delicious cuisine have left many patrons impressed. Guests have raved about the excellent pasta dishes, flavorful lobster ravioli, and the best wine selection delivered by the sommelier.
We had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant in St. Barths. The setting was absolutely stunning—like dining in a lush jungle. Half of the restaurant was covered, while the other half was open-air, creating a magical ambiance. The food was just as impressive as the atmosphere. The service was attentive and top-notch from start to finish. One standout dish was the eggplant appetizer—unique, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The salads were fresh, the steak was perfectly cooked, and every dish we tried was fantastic. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in St. Barths. Beautiful setting, great food, and excellent service—an unforgettable experience! If taking a taxi make sure you have one reserved beforehand

Our large party had a nice dinner here on a Friday night around 9pm. I was surprised that the dining room was pretty sparsely populated but I suppose that we were eating on the later side. We ordered several appetizers to share including the eggplant, arugula salad and caviar. For dinner I had the veggie main and my husband had the flank steak. The food was good if not great and the we had prompt service through the meal. Overall we had a very pleasant if not standout dining experience at Tamarin.
Maggie J — Google review
The service and atmosphere were phenomenal. The lobster pie was delicious however it was not easy to cut/eat. Would be better as bite size portions. The tuna tartar was out of this world. The bavette was a bit under seasoned and my vegetables were cold. The hummus and bread were amazing. So was the lobster ravioli although it was a very small portion for the price. Only 3 raviolis and no side.

This restaurant is in a beautiful tropical setting to resemble a jungle-like feel. The food was very good but the atmosphere was unnerving. The staff are literally sprinting from table to table and room to room. You are waiting for them to clash into each other. Not very relaxing to watch and or makes you feel rushed to eat your dinner rather than relaxing and enjoying a very good meal. Even the server that deboned our fish table side did so at mach speed. And because you have so many different people waiting on you aside from your waiter or waitress, they make mistakes. We had both sparkling and still water and when they came to refill our glasses they poured sparkling water into my glass of still water. Then another server brought us regular bread when our head waitress knew we were gluten free... It was my birthday and I couldn't even trouble one of them to take our picture because they were flying around like crazy. It was like watching bees in a hive.

We had a very nice time at Le Tamarin. The setting and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, feeling as though you are dining in an enchanted garden. We started with the eggplant appetizer, which was not to our taste but was rescued by a fabulous bread and hummus service. For our main dishes we enjoyed the Beef Wellington (exceptional!!) and the tomato pasta (fresh and clean), along with mashed potatoes and french fries. For dessert, the Chocolate Gianduja was a wonderful end to the night. Service was prompt and pleasant, with the restaurant team working together very smoothly.

Best food and service. The manager Laura B is amazing and the best. Highly recommended. Genuinely the best place Ive been to eat in my life. Get the beef Wellington!

Amazing hidden gem. We had a 730 reservation and loved our dinner. The setting is magical; it feels like you’re dining in a jungle. The service was a bit slow at times, but overall it was good. We had the beef Wellington which was perfect in addition to many other dishes. A few of the seafood dishes needed a bit more salt or flavor to the sauce, but overall a great meal. The tamarind rum punch was great!

Shell Beach, located on the western side of St. Barts, is a unique tropical beach covered in a variety of shells in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Despite its name, the crushed shells create a fine powder that's comfortable for lounging. This sheltered beach is an ideal spot to watch the sunset and offers stunning views. Visitors can enjoy Greek bites at Shellona while taking in the picturesque scenery.
Loved this beach! Clear waters and when I went it was pretty calm. It is very small so I can see how it could get crowded, although when I went it wasn't. There were so many shells and I spent hours combing the beach which is one of my favorite things to do. There was a restaurant near by so you could easily get drinks. The walk was not far from parking. Hands down worth visiting. We spent about an hour before exploring other beaches but after exploring the rest I could have easily spent the entire day at this beach. Loved it!
Travel H — Google review
Very popular beach an easy walk from downtown Gustavia. Was a great place to swim and cool off after hiking around the city under a hot sun. Lots of people there the day we were, but still plenty of space. Waves on the beach warrant caution with small children but easily managed by adults. There’s food for purchase and umbrellas/beach chairs to rent.
Sam F — Google review
Nice place to bring the kids to sort through shells and watch hermit crabs. We were able to find close parking at 5pm and the sun was off the beach so it was pleasant to sit in the natural shade.
Holly H — Google review
A different than all of the beaches I visited on this Island or the Anguilla/st. Martin. Instead of white sand there are millions of shells here (and gray sand below). There is also an amazing reef here if you want to snorkel with many different types of fish some of which I have never seen before. Definitely worth a visit especially if you come for a day trip to st. Barth. If you want some intimacy you can go far in the left and hide between the rocks.
Maciej P — Google review
Not a typical Saint Barths beach. It is crowdy since it is a few minutes away from the city center and it is relatively small compared to the other beaches. A good spot for end-of-day long-exposure photography.
Telly A — Google review
Very beautiful, but very choppy. Not exactly a spot for a relaxing swim. Close proximity to Gustavia and Shellona restaurant. Ideal place to hang out after a good meal.

Nice beach - gets deep quickly
Jari P — Google review
Perfectly nice beach, covered with cute little shells (hence the name). Worth checking out for a bit if you plan to walk up Fort Carl and take in the views there, but far from a must see on an island full of incredible beaches--but if you want a location to see one of St. Barth's beautiful sunsets, this beach would be great.

Orega is a highly regarded high-end restaurant in St. Barts known for its French-Japanese fusion cuisine. Chef Clement Laffitte skillfully combines fresh Japanese ingredients with elegant French culinary techniques. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, including comfortable couch seating. Orega's menu features top-notch sushi and fish imported from Tokyo, New York, and Paris. The dining room is beautifully decorated with natural woods, neutral linen, and captivating art.
We absolutely loved our tasting menu at Orega! For 80€ we had 4 amazing courses filled with flavors and textures. My favorite was the tuna foie gras- absolutely delicious. The cocktails weren’t anything special for the price, but still good. The little twinkling lights and the ambiance they created was so lovely. We would definitely go back!

Amazing meal. Everything was delicious and the team running the restaurant were so attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Such an enjoyable experience. The divided everything we ordered in half for us (party of two), making sharing a few plates extremely enjoyable. One of our favorite meals in St Barths. The Tuna Kanzo is a must try.

Orega has excellent service and delicious, Japanese inspired food! The sea bass and duck rolls were our favorite dishes, followed by the chocolate bomb dessert. NOTE: Google Maps shows an incorrect location, the entrance is located across the road from Eddy’s

Orega is a top restaurant in Saint Barth. The chef is inovative and cook onloy the best ingredients. You can eat at Orega a real Toro Tuna or a real japanese meat which is unique. This restaurant desserves a Michelin star for sure. The team made of dynamic young girls and boys makes you spend an enjoyable moment in a cosy athmosphere. To discover and to rediscover all the time.

Disappointed with this meal. We had been in 2019 and loved it, but for whatever reason the food this time was bland and tasteless, and very over priced for the quality. The staff were excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. However, the execution in the kitchen is really lacking for a restaurant charging €50 for an appetiser. There’s a lot of great food in St Barth, I wouldn’t waste a meal here until they improve.
Benjamin J — Google review
The staff is wonderful and attentive, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. There wasn't a single dish that was memorable, and for the small size of the menu and the price point, we had much higher expectations. Our meal for 2 was 700 EUR, and still Orega was our least favorite meal we've had in St Barth's so far.
Eric Y — Google review
My favorite restaurant in St Barth, and one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The service here is high-class with a family-like atmosphere. The food (Japanese inspired) is unique and out of this world delicious. Months later, I am still thinking of the tuna roll, among many other dishes. I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We lucked out that Greg opened the day we got to SBH. Restaurant was quiet since word probably hadn't got around yet that they re-opened. What a great experience all the way through. We had amazing service and Greg personally explained each dish and gave us tasting of some items we were more hesitant to try. The food was unreal and it was probably the best meal we had on the island. Looking forward to coming back for Shot-O-Clock!

I was nearby waiting for Nikki Beach to open so I went in to get a quick juice. I was a little disappointed when I asked for a recommendation between two that I was deciding between and the staff told me she has never tasted any of the juices… All of the seats were wet, none had been wiped down, the cushions were wet. The establishment itself is very old and there are bugs flying on the fruits and food. It is very warm inside as there is a heater blowing warm air into the waiting area. They run very slowly in comparison to the other juice bars I’ve been to here. Also, I had to ask for ice in the juice because it was handed to me warm… and without a straw… lastly they use PAPER straws which wear down before you even finish the beverage. Really did not recommend.

5 star experience. Delicious and wonderful service. We are grateful for this place in St. Barths! We had the Discovery menu, and it was fantastic. I'm a bit surprised it does not have a Michelin star. It does have a fun open kitchen with an extremely talented team of chefs. We will be back soon!
Tabber B — Google review
This is definitely an experience! I compared this experience to the L’Atelier in Miami’s Design District, which is why I can only give it 4 stars, because the experience was much less interesting and the food wasn’t as good, but it was still good and it’s definitely worth a visit. I think it’s probably in the top 10 restaurants on St. Barths. The food is delicious, always very fresh (you watch them prepare it in the kitchen right in front of you), and the service is good. The breads were not hot and did not seem fresh, which was disappointing because I love their freshly baked breads. We ordered way too much food, but we wanted to try a bunch of different items on the menu. Overall this place is great, just not as good as some of the other locations that I’ve been to. They also had Pierre Jouet rose, which was seemingly difficult to find on the island, so extra points for that.

Where do I begin? This establishment blew us away. Our server, Mathilde, was very warm and answered any questions we might have had. The manager, Phillipe, was also very professional and extremely nice. I started with the tuna appetizer which was extraordinary and possibly the greatest appetizer I have ever had. To follow, our amazing sommelier, Alexis, knew exactly how to pair each of our main courses and the wine was perfect! Alexis truly is the KING of the sommeliers. For the main, I had the wagyu and it was one of the best steaks I have had. The dessert was this apple dish which was amazing. Overall, kudos to everyone at the restaurant who made this a dinner to always remember.

We have been coming to St Barth’s for many years to enjoy the culture, food and festivities. Beefbar has exceeded our expectations. First of all, the cocktails are superb. Highly recommend the Basil Garden and Like a Porn Star. We tried the recommended food pairings: the Rock Corn and the Yellowfin Pastrami had us wanting more. Incredible! For the main courses we had Crying Tiger with BBQ sauce, Numamoto wagyu, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. The food here is special. And the people even more special. Our new number one restaurant on the island is Beefbar.

Beefbar in Gustavia was an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless—attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The setting is absolutely stunning, with an incredible view that adds to the overall atmosphere without feeling overdone. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s absolutely worth it. The quality of the food is exceptional and the menu is both creative and refined. The beef was some of the best we’ve ever had—tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish we ordered, from the peppers to the potatoes and other shared plates, was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell this place takes its craft seriously, and it shows in every detail. We left feeling completely satisfied and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend Beefbar for a special night out in St. Barts. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

Our dining experience at Beefbar on our last night in St. Barth was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance and breathtaking views set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The menu offered a fantastic selection of high-quality "beef" inspired dishes, each one more delectable than the last. We were particularly impressed by the Black Angus filet, which was cooked to perfection, and the out-of-this-world sautéed mushrooms. The French fries were also a delightful surprise, crispy and flavorful. Oh and the Caesar! Also quite tasty. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every detail was perfect. I was really excited to try this place but unfortunately did not even end up trying their food. As soon as we entered the door the service was horrible. The waiter who I believe is actually the co-owner per instagram pics was not friendly and very inattentive. He sat us and brought us water but after this he did not return to check back in on us to take our order for drinks or food. During this time this person did serve other people and cleared tables looking at us multiple times. After waiting 30 minutes we decided we clearly were not going to have a good experience here feeling very mistreated which felt like this was due to us being American as he was very friendly to all the French customers who came in. As an owner or a server you would think you would be friendly and attentive to anyone walking through your door supporting your business. We will definitely not be returning or recommending this place to friends.

Le Piment de Saint Barth is located in the St. Jean area and has some smaller local shops nearby. Most everyone you see in the restaurant are locals and the staff is truly amazing and welcoming. It seems a lot of people dining there all know each other and truly is a great family vibe from the time you enter. No reservations are needed and you're pretty much seated immediately when you get there. The restaurant has a variety of menu offerings, we ordered the burger with a side of fries and some drinks from the bar. We also closed the meal with homemade ice cream from the restaurant. All prices were affordable and all food was a great quality. We truly enjoyed the experience and loved the low key, laid back environment at Le Piment!

The menu features a delightful mix of modern and classic cuisine, catering to various dietary preferences including vegan and gluten-free options.
The Ocean Club restaurant is definitely a must-go. Prior to arriving, I made a 7 p.m. reservation. The manager reached out the day before and suggested changing it to 6 p.m. so we could enjoy the sunset while dining. I found this very thoughtful and made the change, and I’m glad I did. We were able to watch the sunset while enjoying an amazing dinner. I ordered the sea bass and the salad, while my girlfriends had the lamb chops. Everything was a 10 out of 10. The cocktails were amazing, and the waiters provided outstanding customer service. I had noted in my reservation that it was a birthday, and although I had completely forgotten about it, they surprised us with a little cake and a birthday wish for my friend. They also provided us with complimentary appetizers, which made the experience feel like dining at a Michelin star restaurant. The view is amazing, the food is amazing, and the service is amazing. Chef Jarad and the team aT Ocean Club provide a magical experience from start to finish. By far one of the best meals my husband and I have had anywhere, and we enjoy a fair amount of fine dining. We enjoyed Ocean Club a few times over our stay, and were blown away each time. Not only is the setting absolutely stunning, the service and the food are incredible. A must visit for anyone coming to the island, we cannot wait to return on our next trip.

My experience at the Ocean Club was incredible! The staff and the service they provided were top notch. The food was absolutely delicious and, you can't beat the atmosphere and the view! I would 100% recommend The Ocean Club to anyone who is visiting St. Barth's.

Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of St. Barth, with an incredible view. The menu is interesting and thoughtful. The tartare starter with caviar was delicious as was the zucchini soup. Bread was divine, including a tomato focaccia. We did not order dessert, but they still brought a small signature desert that was absolutely divine. A tin that looks like caviar, but is lemon curd. This started as a private club and that’s what the inside feels like. The menu has lots of caviar and truffle options and good luck finding a wine under 500 euro. This is St. Barth, after all. Would love to see the lounge portion fill up and get a bit more vibey as the soundtrack was good. Clearly this is an ambitious project and hope it’s here for the long term, great addition to Gustavia.

Delicious Mahi-mahi cooked just right, Margarita by comparison somewhat ordinary. Smooth, correct service. The restaurant should make a stronger effort to move air on hot, humid days.

Leather goods store
Louis Vuitton St. Barthelemy Gustavia is a luxury store located in the capital, Gustavia, offering signature monogrammed handbags, luggage, and more at prices about 20% less than in the US. The staff is known for being super friendly and attentive, with one associate even offering an exclusive hot stamp of St. Barths island onto a wallet.
Super friendly staff! Staff associate, Camille (She was tall with a brown Bob haircut), was super helpful! She showed me a couple of items and was very patient with me. They had what I was looking for. Even offered an exclusive hot stamp of St Barths island onto a wallet. It was super cute. Thank you for the help! Beautiful store to visit in Cour Vendome of Gustavia, St Barths.

Hands down the best experience I’ve had in a Louis store. Ask for Malena when you go in, she’s amazing. Super knowledgeable, friendly and patient. She helped me pick out my bag and then we came back the next day to FaceTime my mom so she could pick a bag. Malena was our sales associate both times and even followed up with me after our trip on the island with a sweet note. We will be back 😃

Purchased the Christopher slim backpack here a few months ago and had a really great experience from when I called to verify if they had it until I purchased it in store. The staff were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately my next experience was the complete opposite. I was looking to purchase another backpack, and I called the store. The first time during business hours no one answered. Later in the day I was able to reach someone - and I was ready to order a bag if they needed to get it in stock. I was quite happy to complete everything over the phone and set up coming in to order- however the associate requested I message her on WhatsApp. The associate failed to respond to multiple messages - then would reply days later after being messaged again. Due to this I missed the window to get the bag before a trip. I requested the boutique manager contact me as I would still order the bag, but obviously there were communication issues. Over a week later, I still have not heard from anyone. Not the communication or sales experience I expect at a boutique of this level.

Customers praise the quality of their coffee and the variety of milk options available.
Great little spot! Food was delicious and drinks were made fresh to order. The Banana bread was especially good and there was a cool sandwich/salad bar to customize your order, or choose from a range of tasty prepared foods, hot and cold.

They are very friendly. Smoothies are pretty basic- they only mix nut milks on request - but you can build your own! They also have small fresh coconut water for 10 euros. They could offer gluten free options and really help a celiac out ;) I would love to come back to St Barts and see Kaz à Juice 2.0 :)

I’ve found my new happy place, and it revolves entirely around the magnificent offerings at this spot. If you are looking for a place to truly recharge and treat yourself to something delicious and healthy, this is it! The Acai Bowls are, simply put, a game-changer. They are velvety, and perfectly chilled. This isn't your average runny acai; the base is rich and packed with flavor. The customization options for toppings are endless, but every bowl comes out beautifully layered with fresh tropical fruits, crunchy granola, chia seeds, you can add peanut butter ..YUM 10/10... in the scorching heat of St.barths this is what we needed to cool us down.... Equally impressive are the Fresh Juice Combos... Carrot, mango and pineapple juice 10/10. it’s the kind of juice that makes you feel energized instantly. Highly recommend 👌

La Case St-Barth is a charming boutique dedicated to French West Indian rums, featuring a wide selection of rums as well as spice and chocolate sections. The shop has garnered praise for its successful curation and knowledgeable staff. Visitors can expect an incredible array of rums and Caribbean products, with Victoria providing attentive service and recommendations. This establishment embodies the spirit of the Maison through its creative, generous, and friendly atmosphere, inspired by nature lover Jean Imbert.
This place was a wonderful treat to find! We did the rum tasting with Victoria who was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food she paired with the rums was exceptional. I would highly recommend the experience but at the very least the store is worth a visit for quality rum from rare to approachable options all carefully curated along with other local goods and delicacies!

This place has the best collection of Rums. It is exceptionally well curated with top quality and hard-to-find Rhums Agricoles. I found wonderful Caribbean spices and the best rum punch ive ever had, Guadeloupe Punch KARUKERA. The lady who owns it is a wealth of knowledge...and so wonderfully hospitable.

Pati de St Barth is a unique and original store created by the artist Pati, offering excellent quality t-shirts, bags, and practical souvenir ideas. The atmosphere is artistic with a wide range of price options, making it a great place to find trendy souvenirs or quality textiles. The boutique exudes an artistic sensitivity that reflects the talent of Pati as a painter. Visitors can expect exquisite candles and a welcoming ambiance at this emblematic seaside shop in Gustavia.
When I saw the 1 star review I had to send mine in. I have maybe sent 10 reviews in my life. I have been buying clothes and other things from their stores in the last 8 trips to st Barts over 20 years. The quality and the feel of the t-shirts which is my main purchase are outstanding. I have new ones that I bought in February so then I wear my old ones for work. The reason I happened across this review is that I am hoping I can order online and have them shipped to Canada. I still have some that are 10 years old that I have worn 100 + times. Anyway love them got some long sleeve this time and some for the kids. WE WILL BE BACK!!

We looked in the store, once the previous customers had left (Americans) we had to ask the price of the sarongs and towels because the person present did not come to see us. Maybe we had a clothing style that didn't match the store's basics. Sorry we were French tourists only. Very bad experience. (Translated by Google) I don't know which is more deplorable... The quality of the product or that of the after-sales service? Everything was fine in the store, but the condescension I encountered left me helpless. I bought a bag with writing on it, they started to fade after the first use. Faced with this, the person who spoke to me simply told me that this had never happened and that no compensation was possible. Unacceptable given the price of the items sold there. In addition, they charge €3 for stickers. RUN AWAY!!!! FUYEZ !!!!

Two beautiful boutiques, one in Gustavia (Carré d'or) at the second one only open during the evening next to Bonito restaurant where emanates an atmosphere of dreams and privileges. The codes of high end and luxury are perceived at first sight.

I was leaving Bonito St Barth from dinner and noticed the Loilta JACA St Barth boutique along the exit of the restaurant. My female friend decided to wonder inside to look at a purse. she was greeted by a friendly sales person named Valeria who was kind enough To show her all the features and explain them in detail. I was mesmerized and still standing at the entrance of the boutique when Juliette approached me and very nicely invited me inside. At first I was reluctant however her personality was so genuinely heart felt, I decided to enter. The first thing I noticed were the dresses they both wore that were part of the boutique clothing. The dresses were very nice and accentuated them both. The boutique is a luxury boutique and the items they have are quite unique and quite classy. If I were a woman, I most likely would have purchased many items just because of Juliette and her wonderful personality. This is place with unique items and a very friendly staff, you must come here to check out their wares!
