Restaurant
Located on the lively waterfront, Waterfront Bar and Grill is renowned for its lively atmosphere and delectable grills. This popular spot offers a variety of juicy steaks, fresh seafood, and signature burgers, all expertly prepared and savored while overlooking the yacht-filled harbor. The restaurant's open-air layout provides a refreshing breeze, creating an immersive tropical dining ambiance. With picturesque views of Port Vila lagoon, it's an ideal place to relish a satisfying meal with a scenic backdrop.
Great Food with a Beautiful View After the brief closure following the devastating December 2024 earthquake, we are thrilled to see Waterfront Bar and Grill back in action! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Port Vila, with a brilliant view of the harbour. The food is really good, and the service is amazing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy the view, and have a nice meal. Definitely recommend!

We went here for a drink and saw the food being served we decided to go back for dinner the next day to try out the seafood platter with lobster for 2. We knew it would be a bit expensive but we loved it. As their name suggest they are situated right on the waterfront so the view of the harbour and sunset is amazing. The staff were very attentive and really friendly, service was fantastic, the drinks albeit on the slightly pricey side were cold and delicious. This is not somewhere to go if looking for a cheap meal but rather for something a little special and just that little bit extra. Our meal was incredible, so much food and all delicious. There was live musice when we went, a local singer with a beautiful voice playing lovely background mucis making the atmosphere that much nicer. The amenities were clean however they are up a small flight of stair so not wheelchair accessible. Would recommend for a special occasion or if you want to spoil yourself. We loved it and for what we paid vs what we got we think it was worth it.

Make sure you go here whilst in Port Vila! Chowder is a must try! Highly recommended by everyone and did not disappoint. Best chowder we’ve ever tried. Fish of the day ( snapper) and fish curry was also delicious. Don’t skip coconut ice cream for dessert. Bit on the pricier side but worth it. Wesley was a super friendly server!
Alexandra M — Google review
We came here for some late lunch and drinks. Service was great always checking in and making sure we were ok! Food was so amazing, we got fish curry, beef curry and seafood chowder. There are not words to describe how amazing the food was! Will definitely be returning.
Oakley B — Google review
This place is a VIBE! loved the live music they had - she’s an incredible singer (not sure if it’s the same person every night) - the waterfront view is stunning and the restaurant has such a beach type setting going on. The food on the menu all sounds amazing and from what we saw it looked it too - we wanted to come back but ran out of time unfortunately, we wanted to try the seafood platter - it looked MASSIVE and could tell it was popular for as most tables were ordering it. we tried the seafood salad, seafood chowder in the Cobb loaf, tuna sashimi, fish curry and it was all INCREDIBLE. The staff were lovely and even though we were a bit rowdy by singing and getting into the vibe of the place - no one seemed to mind, it was definitely one of my favourite nights in port Villa and walking distance to were we stayed (Iririki resort) - they are a little slow on service however it was busy and island time is a thing, so we didn’t let that stop us from a good time! The beers flowed as did the banter with the team! Thankyou!!!

We shared a gorgeous lunch today. Portions are huge, I got the fisherman’s basket and my partner got the fish of the day. We both said next time we’d just share the fisherman’s basket. Portions sizes were incredible, everything was fresh and delicious and our waiter Bruno was wonderful. The views themselves are worth a visit, gorgeous right by the water. Our last meal in Vanuatu and probably our favourite.

Great food with great staff, and great views! Our meals were mostly tasty, there was just one piece of fish that wasn’t tasty.

Cafe
Nambawan Café, located in Port Vila, is a vibrant and lively spot overlooking the seafront. It offers a colorful atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as free Wi-Fi for paying customers. The café serves authentic Vanuatu cuisine like tuluk or laplap and also has a full bar. On Wednesday nights, they host an outdoor cinema where you can relax in comfy chairs or on a blanket with a glass of wine while enjoying one of their tasty pizzas.
Food: A great selection of dishes, including fresh seafood, light snacks, and pizzas. Their homemade smoothies and coffee are particularly recommended. • Staff: Friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming island atmosphere. • View: Stunning views of the ocean and Port Vila’s promenade, especially beautiful at sunset. It’s a perfect spot for a laid-back lunch or a coffee with spectacular scenery

The service was good and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely - view of the waterfront. Food was good too. I had a cheese and salad quesadilla as I was vegetarian. I didn't have coffee because it was late in the afternoon. They don't have much vegetarian options on the menu though. They accept card payments but will charge a surcharge fee on top of your bill. Take cash if you wish to avoid the card surcharges. Overall 4 out of 5 stars for my experience. Recommend.
Krishneil N — Google review
This became our favourite of Port Vila and we ate here a few times. Varied menu, and good value and the service and quality is good. We enjoyed their wraps and juices the most. The bruschetta was good, though a big heavy in the onion. The cheese burger and cheese quesadilla were also good. Steak sandwich was the only “ok” dish as just a bit heavy on the mayonnaise- but that’s a personal taste.
Liz G — Google review
Such a beautiful cafe- I wish we had found it sooner! Excellent service, delicious food and drinks and a stunning view! The iced coffee was my favourite. Great prices too!
Olivia B — Google review
Long day walking around Port Vila and what a cracking place for a relax. Kids had milk and thick shakes and we had a few beers. Lovely and quiet and got to just relax.
Andrew E — Google review
Great position overlooking the water with super friendly staff. We got steak sandwiches and downed it with the local Tusker beer! Food was presented differently than we were expecting but the quality was top notch. Great feed.
Shane P — Google review
Coffee was OK, good for here generally. The "toasted" carrot bread was microwaved which destroyed it. Could have been tasty toasted. Service was slow, but I think we got kazumpted by a couple local big wigs.
Bill S — Google review
The atmosphere was perfect! It’s so beautiful, and the breeze is really nice. They do have wifi for paying customers with is really nice. And the service is decent. The food was good; but could have used a few tweaks. The chicken and bacon quesadilla was good, aside from not having enough or maybe real ranch. The burger was great, it just needed some more seasoning. The smoothies were not very good. Pizza was great though. There’s also a free movie on some nights. It starts around 6pm. Check them out on FB to see what they have playing and when.

Seafood restaurant
Wahoo Seafood & Grill is a laid-back restaurant and bar featuring a deck that offers stunning views of Havannah Harbour. Visitors can enjoy fresh fish, cold beers, and a variety of seafood options. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of food is top-notch. The fisherman's basket and grilled fish are highly recommended dishes. Although serving sizes could be more generous, the overall dining experience is delightful. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere of this establishment.
Finished a John's Authentic Day Trip here, great snorkelling and cocktails after, beautiful spot!

Beautiful spot, we were on a tour with the turtle reef crew and this is where we came back for lunch. Everything was pretty costly but it was all quality food, the prawns pictured below were some of the best prawns I've had! Absolutely beautiful! Chips were good too! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the amount we got for what we paid, serving size could've been a bit bigger, what we got served though was amazing. The people working there were all so friendly and welcoming. The beer was very cheap too, I'd recommend giving the local tusker beer a try! Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area or exploring around!
Frederick G — Google review
Food was amazing! Great grilled fish. Dont be in a rush though - definitely working on island time! Friendly local dog :)
Cassandra K — Google review
Great views here and worth a stop for lunch if you are in the area. You can snorkle out the front but it's not the best place in the area. (doing the turtle beach glass bottom boat tour which leaves from here is worthwhile though).

After a drive around the island we happened across this place. Down the stairs to a glorious seating location looking out towards Lalepa Island. Food menu basic but tasty. Service great. Always smiling and happy. Everyone enjoyed their wraps and burgers and that super cold beer hit the spot. Definitely a repeat next time we are on the road.

Nestled along the stunning shores of Vanuatu, The Beach Bar offers a delightful blend of relaxation and local culture. With its open-sided thatched 'nakamal' design, this waterfront gem provides an inviting atmosphere to unwind while enjoying breathtaking sunset views. Whether you're savoring delicious pizza or snacking on sweet potato chips, every bite is enhanced by the picturesque backdrop of black sand beaches and vibrant local life.
One of the more touristy bars in Vanuatu with a great beach view. It’s a popular spot, so you’ll see lots of other travelers around. They also have a happy hour deal. When I visited, there was a free fire dance show — it was super cool and beautiful! Apparently, they have these events from time to time.
L — Google review
Good location and great vibes, we booked the table specifically on Friday for the fire show a must see for your visit to Port Vila. Chilling performance by the fire dancers. Awesome experience , drinks are amazing.
Sowmya D — Google review
If you’re in Mele Beach in Vanuatu, this place is an absolute must! 🌴🇻🇺 Tom, the owner, is absolutely dedicated and passionate about what he’s created. He helps the local island people improve their lives, lets them perform shows at the venue, and you can really feel how much he lives and loves what he does. The service is excellent, the place is charming, and the people are incredibly friendly. Highly recommend! ✨❤️
SARA F — Google review
Myself and my boyfriend attended on Friday for the fire show, we left it too late to book a table so just arrived SUPER early (like 4pm and the show started at 7:30pm). I’d really recommend arriving early early, we were able to have quite a few drinks without any line at the bar and have a nice quiet dinner. By the time it got to around 5-5:30 it was packed. The bar line was long and people were turning around and leaving because they didn’t like that there were no tables left. So if you don’t book a table, you can either find one unresevered like we did, or get a seat down on the beach on a bench. We wish we’d sat down on the beach, way better views of the fire show, we sat too far back to get amazing views and pics. So if you don’t mind eating pizza on your lap, get down to the beach benches. Food wise, it was nice, wish the pizza base was a little better cooked to really get the taste of the wood oven. We ordered the Melanesia pizza (banana, coconut, bacon) which was amazing; but I wish there there less cheese and maybe just like a sprinkling of a cheese like goats cheese maybe? Just as I felt I couldn’t appreciate all the flavours because all I got was cheese. My boyfriend ordered the fish pizza, not much fish and a few scatterings of crab sticks, he’d have liked a little more fresh fish on there. Both were nice and we were very full!! We also ordered calamari, no notes it was PERFECT but calamari I’ve had in a long long time. Delicious! Fire show was utterly incredible, indescribable you must come and see it if you’re on the island!!
Carrie G — Google review
Pretty cool place to hang out. We went to the fire show here and of course it was packed and no tables available. But…plenty of seats to watch the show which are actually situated better to watch. These seats filled up too, so getting there early is key. Reasonable pricing for food and drinks considering the popularity.
Kirk G — Google review
Went there twice. Extra Fire show on Thursday night. Really Good entertainment first night and pizza were nicely cooked. Went back again on another night. Pizzas were undercooked, doughy and show was more acrobatic but still worthwhile.
David — Google review
The Beach Bar is popular for its Friday night fire show, but honestly, it felt way too crowded and touristy. The show itself was entertaining. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing – not the quality you’d expect given how busy and well-known the place is. We went on a Friday for the show (along with just about every tourist in town), and it ended up being more stressful than enjoyable. If you’re mainly after the fire show, maybe check it out once, but for dining or atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend it. We were also told that the fire show was from 6 to 8 but it's actually from 7.35 to 8. Long queue to order anything, the setup is not great, if you know that you get so busy on Fridays, maybe you should be better equipped. There are much better spots around Vanuatu with great food and a more relaxed vibe.
Rudy K — Google review
OK, so we had a big build up how great the fire dance is. Fire dance IS awesome. Kudos to the dance team they put on a great show! Venue was a miss for us. Don't bother 'booking a table and then move to the seats for the show' = there will be no seats available past about half through happy hour. Just show up for happy hour, order some food and sit straight out at the seats. Otherwise you will not get seats. We got SO lucky and sat on the sand, front row, and stayed low for the kids. But it was just dumb luck after being sat at the farthest table possible at 430p! And we booked like 3weeks advance..... Also, share a bus or transport out there with other people. Drivers need 2-3k vat for the trip to be worth it. Share and split.

Cafeteria
Jills Cafe in Port Vila is a popular spot known for its American-style cuisine with a Mexican twist. The menu features generous-sized burgers, fresh tortillas, and huge ice coffees. The cafe offers a cozy and elegant ambiance with simple wooden furniture and friendly service. It's also a great place to dine with kids as there's a playground just across the road. Located on the Kumal Highway, Jills Cafe has received positive feedback for its delicious food and courteous staff.
We have been going to Jill’s cafe for years first thing we do when we arrive in villa is hit Jill’s for a thick shake my wife and I always rock the choc banana ( made with fresh Vanuatu bananas) they just can be beaten. Our 2 kids keep it simple with the choc. We are also prone to stopping in for lunch as it is so central. Food is great and the staff are absolutely amazing their warmth and friendliness really make your day
Shane H — Google review
This is not a traditional place to drop in and enjoy the local tastes. It is an American style care which does it very well. Good variety of food, from Mexican to hot dogs and I enjoyed the food. Straight off the high street so it is well located although parking is not easy. Go round the back and pay to make it simple. A lot of the food is home made (tortillas chips, wrap etc) which is great. Yeah the interior is a bit tacky and not perfect but for a simple meal it was very enjoyable and tasty!
Bradley J — Google review
A Port Vila institution, Jill’s is a must. They are known for their burgers. Over the years other cafes in town have become as good as Jills but this cafe is the OG. Also, check out their “library” of used English language books that you can buy, all money going to a local charity (or donate a book if you wish).
Liz G — Google review
In the main street of Port Vila, it's easy to find. The food is pretty good and seems to get alot of patrons. Was surprised that another traveller told me that their meal wasn't that great. Certainly the chips aren't like you'd get in Australia - bit mushy. The prices are consistent with most other cafes and restaurants in Port Vila. Read a review to try the banana thickshake and yep it was pretty good. There is a playground right nearby which is good for the kiddies. Came here one morning for coffee - not bad. Not Melbourne coffee, but not bad. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good portion sizes. Staff are lovely and very helpful.

If you go to Port Vila and you don't go to Jill's Cafe then you're missing out on a fabulous experience. The ladies who work there are the friendliest people on earth, the food is consistently good, and it's conveniently located in the middle of town.

Food here was a little hit or miss, had the deluxe chicken quesadilla which was really good while the chili fries were not so great. Service was nice and also quite fast.

Cafe Vila, situated on Pango Road just a short distance from town, is gaining a reputation for its delectable cuisine and refreshing drinks. The restaurant's inviting ambiance pays homage to Vanuatu's colonial heritage, providing an ideal setting for a leisurely dining experience. With a relaxing atmosphere and an outdoor area offering garden views, Cafe Vila is praised for its warm and efficient service.
We ate dinner here twice over 10 days. A slick restaurant with excellent service and fantastic, flavoursome food. I thoroughly recommend the local fusion dishes which were absolutely beautiful in taste and presentation. The staff were warm, friendly and efficient. A lovely place for a relaxed dinner. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Nasama and ate here a couple or times. Especially breakfast Staff are so incredibly lovely and the food is delicious. Plenty of options and so fresh. They also have weekly specials which change every week and a special brunch on Sundays. Their happy hour is great in terms of choices and prices. Highly recommend
Pauline M — Google review
We are at cafe villa everyday for breakfast as part of our stay at nasama Resort. The presentation of the food is absolutely fabulous, all the food was tasty, occasionally a little bland like much food is in Vanuatu (potato croquettes im looking at you) but that was fixed with salt and pepper. Our favourite breakfast items were: Island pancakes & the omelette. Breakfast burger and tacos after thst. Sourdough bread also great. Staff all very lovely (especially mona & sophia), once they got to know us after few days they would start to offer refill of water & coffee which was much appreciated & elevated the service. Also manager April was super friendly and seemed really approachable, impressed she for remembered details about us the next day (my mother had to dine alone first breakfast when I had migraine.) Enjoyed the bar happy hr cocktail specials from 5.30pm-7pm. They had heaps of gluten free options on menu for anyone with food intolerances. Only 2 things i didnt like - the small size of coffee cups , would've been good to know sooner we could get a refill, although the refill didnt always come everyday after asking. And salt shakers with all the mould first couple days, these prob need to be cleaned more regularly before they got so bad (hard in humid climate) noticed by 3rd day they had been cleaned. (menu is breakfast menu for guest hence lack of prices, price is 500 extra for the big brekkie)

Café Vila is an absolute gem! We ate here every day for a week – breakfast (which was included with our stay) and several dinners – and somehow each meal was better than the last. Every single dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff were so kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more special. It’s rare to find a place where you look forward to every meal, but Café Vila truly delivered. An unbelievable experience from start to finish – highly recommended to anyone visiting Vanuatu!

Amazing food combination of local and international cuisine. We had a Thai Sweet and Spicy curry and a Vanuatu local style bunia with fish. Both were delicious and big portions. The gin cocktail Cucumber Cooler with basil oil was unique and outstanding.

I had breakfast here twice and honestly it was perfect. The atmosphere was laid back, and the food was delicious with a modern flair. I also loved the concept of the seasonal menu.

We stayed at Nasama resort so we had breakfast here each day. Then after trying other resorts and restaurants for dinners we decided Cafè Vila was the best on the island! Wonderful fusion dishes presented in 5star ways! I could not believe the few bad reviews until I saw they were from five years ago! Totally different now. If on Vanuatu it is a must!

This place is great for a nice casual drink and cheap food! Pizzas are thin base and delicious! Spicy hotdog was great! There home cooked style hot chips are pretty good too.

Went here for dinner and the food was ok, pizza was reasonable but the Vanuatu hot dog was pretty bad (The sausage itself was pretty good the toppings let it down) Went back again and this time had the pasta which was an improvement. Tap selection of beer was also really nice so between those 2 things I am bumping the review by 1 star.

Good food, friendly staff and great happy hour deals Great atmosphere, good happy hour deals and the band playing were great too and got some people dancing and singing.
Kris — Google review
Good location across from the casino and the food is good but not cheap. I suppose the prices are pretty standard for the island (about $22-24 for a decent burger). The first night we came here they had a guy playing reggae and the atmosphere was great. The other nights it was quiet place to pay $12 for an Aussie beer (but why would you when the local Tusker bitter is so good)
Stevie K — Google review
Nice beer, we had pizza with arancini balls for entree, it was nice. They seem to have a cocktail of the week and daily cocktail special too. Good place to have some nice beers. Prices are around eqiuvalent good value Australian beer bar prices. Not cheap but not expensive and you seem to get value here. The craft beers I tried were very good.
Kevin M — Google review
This is a pretty standard small town sports bar: nothing special as it's all about watching the game. Pizza has generous toppings and was hot. Reasonable selection of beer and 100% of sales of Aussie beers were being donated to the NSW fire service so that was cool to see.
Clara M — Google review
I don't ever do reviews but after this experience my wife and I were left very disappointed. Ended up getting 4 cocktails and some food after being told that cocktails were 20% off during happy hour. They ended up adding 2 pizzas to our order that were not ours and gave no discount for happy hour. After we complained they removed the pizzas but told us there is only 20% off tap beers however we had clarified cocktails were included prior to original order and then once we complained 'Phillip' ended up saying we could pay whatever and it would come out of his pay. Felt like we were manipulated and ripped off when we would have ordered a different drink if they had been honest from the start.

Spent most nights here for beers & meals when in PV in June 2019. Food was always superb. Beers always cold. 😃👍 Met locals & owners, had a fantastic time overall, especially when band was playing. 😃👍 Hi to Matt (& wife)👋 Phillip (bar), Jimmy (floor staff), Wilson (Security), and many others. 😃👍 I’m coming back in February 2020. 😃 See you all soon. 😃👍 **A note to Nikki Chan (review below & pic)... Your bad experience from the waitress must’ve only been caused by your own attitude. I was served by every staff member here and never had any issues whatsoever. 😃👍

Disappointed. Was here 5 yrs ago and came back and have brought my sister and talked the Warhorse up. Ba bow. We went out the other night and we're the only 3 for dinner. We waited what seemed forever to order our meal, then drinks. They had a few takeaway orders but that was all. No atmosphere and felt like we were intruding. The beef ribs were fantastic as was the pulled beef burger. I asked for my steak to be medium rare but came out blue. Was tough and fatty. The garlicy mash potato was yummy. The amenities were dirty and ladies toilet screen had a big rip visible to the outside world 😂 There was a couple of guys playing pool, turns out they were the waitresses partners. The cat, Bella was very friendly loved a cuddle. We had to approach staff to get our bill. Have been here twice before, the food was good but we won't come back again.

Atmosphere is very reminiscent of an American midwest saloon. My husband is from that area and said it definitely reminded him of home. Menu sounded great however the food needed a bit more flavour and fresh ingredients to really be considered good mexican. That said, certain fresh foods can be hard to find here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool tables.

Do yourselves a favour and dont waste your time going here, took a taxi here with my family while on holiday for a meal, place is ran down badly well in need of a refurbish/rebuild,food is rubbish have eaten better microwave meals, do better warhorse saloon or might aswell close the restaurant and just sell beer!

Came here late in the day to make the most of happy hour. Alas, this wasn't reflected when I paid and despite having quite a 'show down' with staff, they refused to reduce the bill. I just left without paying the extra making quite a scene. That isn't normally my style but I travel alot, and it annoys me when people will 'burn' someone over a few dollars. I will not recommend this place. I will however, tell you a few things about it. I could walk from my hotel to this place, but it's away from the main part of town. easy to find. Service was pretty good (apart from the above interaction). Note that there are two sections to this place. One is the bar and restaurant. The other is the game place for visitors where you can play billards, darts and sip on your home brewed beers. This is where alot of Aussies hung out. Being an Aussie - I wanted to get away from that. I did eat here before the interaction above and found the prices not bad - the usual overpriced Vanuatu to be expected. The steak was good and as it was served on a stone plate, which seems to be the way they do it here. I was salivating thinking about a good steak but alas, it was average. Cleanliness was pretty good - as I said, this is a little more of an up market restaurant. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.
Debi S — Google review
Came for dinner. The bar area is loud and smoky since you can smoke indoors. the garden area is a bit unwelcoming. The menu looked great but we were highly disappointed. Food looked good. Buffalo wings were hot and decent but the BBQ beef ribs were boiled. I have never had barbeque where the meat was boiled - the whole point is to barbeque the meat. Then the BBQ sauce was slapped on at the end. As a person who grew up in barbeque country in the US, I have never had anything like this but would not recommend. We couldn't wait to leave so skipped the dessert.

Had a few drinks on a Friday afternoon. All the workers were dropping in to have a quick beer or order takeaway pizzas. A few looked like they had been there a while singing along to the music having a great time. We didn't eat as we're booked elsewhere for dinner. Service was great drinks were cold I'd go back for sure.

Nestled in the tranquil embrace of Pango Point, Paradise Cove Resort is a charming boutique hotel that offers an intimate escape just 15 minutes from Port Vila. With only 10 beautifully designed villas, this resort accommodates up to 35 guests, ensuring a personalized and flexible experience for every visitor. Guests can indulge in swimming or snorkeling at the private beach, unwind in hammocks scattered throughout lush gardens, or explore the local village on rented bikes.
Paradise Cove is well named as it certainly is Paradise! We had an absolutely amazing stay here, it was just perfect. It’s a truly special place that feels so personal and has so much soul unlike other commercialised resorts we’ve stayed at. Marc, Constance and the team are always around and happy to help you on anything you need. They are all lovely people. The reef is amazing to snorkel and they have all the snorkelling kit you need - reef shoes, flippers, snorkels, the works! As well as kayaks and paddle boards and bikes to use too, all for free. The food was amazing, delicious cocktails. The beach gets an absolutely awesome sunset so we spent many happy hours relaxing on the hammocks watching the sun set. This was third resort we stayed in Vanuatu and it was BY FAR the best. We absolutely love Paradise Cove and will be back with our family. Alicia and Arvind

Absolutely loved our stay at Paradise Cove. The snorkelling right off the beach was some of the best we've experienced and a real highlight for our family. Our kids loved kayaking and swimming in the pool. Food was incredible! Breakfast was delicious!! And the staff, my gosh, so helpful and welcoming. Can't wait to come back!! Thanks for having us Constance and Marc.

We spent 7 nights here in August, loved every second of it! It was the ideal place to relax, and disconnect from everything. Location was perfect, close enough to Port Villa but far away so you don’t hear any traffic. The staff are very friendly, Constance and Marc were very accommodating and made the stay even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet stay with great food!

Really beautiful spot. Very secluded and sheltered from winds that can be intense at other resorts. It's an amazing spot with fish and snorkeling and quite central for Vanuatu. Food was surprisingly good. Very nice and personal feel at the resort thanks to Marc and Constance.

We only came here for dinner, but what an experience! The resort is quite secluded (not sure I’d personally stay here since it feels a bit far out), but for an evening visit it was absolutely magical. We enjoyed one of the most breathtaking sunsets in Vanuatu, and dinner was superb – beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The setting, the atmosphere, and the food all came together perfectly. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a special dinner spot with unforgettable views!

Paradise Cove Resort is absolutely beautiful, set in lush tropical gardens with stunning turquoise views. We stayed six nights and I felt completely safe and cared for, even when it was just me and my two kids for a couple of days while my partner sorted a passport issue. The staff are amazing. A special thank you to Edna, Rebecca, Noelyn, and Constance, who was always so warm and helpful and even got my kids involved in feeding one of the friendly resident cats. Our tour guide KiKi was wonderful too, taking my boys to a soccer game and joining in a kick with them. Everyone we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The accommodation was lovely, snorkeling was serene, and the sunsets were perfect. On my son’s birthday the staff even sang to him, which made it extra special. We will always remember this trip with gratitude and I highly recommend it.

We came here for dinner one night as we were staying in another resort. It was a great evening with fantastic food and views. Its a very special location and definitely worth coming here for a meal for a special night or occasion. Food quality was exceptional. We had our drink in the lounge chairs by the water and proceeded to dinner by the tables.

I am not staying at the resort, but one close by. I heard that the Paradise Cove Resort is one of the best places to eat, this side of the Island. Well, it is true. Absolute splendour. I was greeted with salsa and chips. My Mojito and food arrived together. Both the presentation and explosion of tastes were equally impressive. If you’re staying nearby, make a reservation here. Beautifully built, presented with food and service to match. I understand the appeal. They have great tourist pick up and drop off services and a water taxi service for the area ase if travel to Port Villa centre. Everything you want and need without the isolation. Grateful I ate here early in my trip. I’ll be returning so often, they may think I’m a guest. Strongly recommend.

Nestled in Port Vila, Breakas Beach Resort is an exclusive adults-only retreat offering a serene beachfront setting. The resort features charming bungalows with traditional Melanesian architecture, providing a romantic ambiance and direct access to the beach. Guests can indulge in ocean views and gentle sea breezes amidst lush tropical gardens. The property boasts an outdoor pool, private beach, restaurant, bar, and massage services.
We had such an amazing stay at Breakas Resort, truly a little paradise! The food was absolutely delicious, and we were so impressed by the attention to detail from the kitchen. A big thank you to Head Chef Paolo, whose dishes were consistently fresh and full of flavour, and to Cynthia for her warmth and hospitality. The private beach is stunning and perfect for relaxing or going for a snorkel, we saw so many colourful fish right off the shore! The adults-only atmosphere made it wonderfully peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay. Every staff member was kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We left feeling completely recharged and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend Breakas to anyone visiting Vanuatu, we’ll definitely be back!
Aizhan Z — Google review
The staff make this place special. They remember your name and room number are all very polite and helpful, I can't thank everyone enough for making our stay memorable. I had a massage, which was wonderful, and left feeling totally relaxed. The breakfast had a great selection of cereal, bread, fresh fruit, and pancakes. The menus for lunch and dinner had a fantastic selection and something for everyone. Pizzas were great, the beef burger was so tasty, and the pasta was amazing. Had a desert a couple of nights, and it was delicious. The resort has no paved paths it is just sand everywhere, so it can make walking slightly difficult if you have any leg/feet issues. We stayed in a beachfront room and loved waking up to the sound of the waves but it can also be noisy in the evenings if u are in close proximity to the restaurant/bar area as there is often music or entertainment happening. The room was cleaned every day, and housekeeping staff were accommodating with any specific requests we had. The bathroom was basic, but all you needed and loved the shower that was open air. The grounds are well maintained with raking every day. Very much enjoyed the Wednesday night dinner and show and also Friday night fire show.

I had an absolutely amazing, tranquil stay at Breakas. The rooms are absolutely divine. The pool and beach area are beautiful. It was definitely 9 days of pure relaxation. Regina one of the waitresses was particularly charming and funny and made my stay extra special. But all the staff from the security to the reception were all so lovely. The only downfall for me was the food at the resort. Breakfast is exceptionally basic and the lunch and dinner menu was very hit and miss.
Katie M — Google review
We had a nice stay at Breakas. The staff was nice and there are beach chairs at the beach and pool area. The rooms are all beach and garden huts with a half exterior bathroom. They are spacious, have a mosquito net and a ceiling fan. Not fancy, more on the basic side. No aircon, no TV & no Wifi in the rooms. Breakfast was included which was nice to start the day, they had cereal, pancakes, toasts, fruit and some sweets. You could also purchase something hot from the menu. The restaurant was also open for lunch and dinner & we tried some pastas and pizzas which were nice. Happy hour from 5-6pm. There is an ATM in reception for anyone that needs one. It is a little bit out of town, but you can catch a bus to town for 150 Vatu. Nice sunset views! In my opinion it’s targeting more 50+ couples & with a romantic vibe, but we still enjoyed it in our 30s. Adults only which is good! On a negative note, the person that checked us out made a negative & uncomfortable comment when I mentioned I wanted to take the local bus to Hideaway, telling me just to take the taxi with the guy outside; and also when I said I was staying at Poppys later to experience other areas of town, he put a weird face and said Poppys was not good.
Josefina N — Google review
Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful location, rooms were fantastic with semi outdoor bathroom, the beach is amazing and very well looked after. Pool and bar area is really lovely and they did a great job to look after and keep everything super tidy. I think only a few areas to work on to make it even better: music by the pool was quite loud throughout the day and could very easily hear it in our rooms, breakfast was a little basic and you often had to wait a while till the coffee was refilled from the machine, the travel desk staff wasn't very helpful or knowledge about things happening. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, layout of the grounds is great, very relaxing and would recommend people to stay.
Harry B — Google review
Rooms were very nice lovely nature and beachy vibes . Location is top notch pool ,bar , great beach resort . Food is adjustable a few miss and hits .However despite , having all the great features and view the service at this place is absolutely useless . Staff are rude , inconsiderate and failed to meet basic requirements for guest service . Specially the manager EMEST doesn’t know basic standards for serving someone no acknowledge for the person in front of him . Multiple examples , 1 . EMEST - if you pop up to reception don’t expect him to give you info he is basically on a holiday . 2. We have asked for reservation for dinner in the resort, we arrive at our booking time and he says sorry we don’t have your booking . 3 . Couple of days later we order from the bar menu the food comes after 1and half hours later that too after our multiple follow ups . 4. The staff can mess up the tiniest instructions which would be a basic in common world . On top of that they make it seem that we are burden to them . They lack the understanding of how much they are charging for the service they provide , this is the cost usually people pay in Australia for their average drinks and food . 5 . Very unprofessional and unwelcoming service . The rudest amongst all of them was the manager EMEST who lack in basic courtesy towards the guests who are paying their wages definitely not suggesting for staying in the resort however it’s a beautiful resort for pool , bar and relaxing.

We visited Breakas for a day and the setting was absolutely idyllic. The sand, sea, and pool were fantastic, and the adults-only atmosphere made it wonderfully relaxing. The drinks were excellent – we enjoyed a few refreshing mocktails – and the fries and banana chips were a nice touch while lounging by the pool. Unfortunately, lunch was a let-down. The Hawaiian pizza was tasteless and left unfinished, while the burger lacked seasoning and needed a lot of salt. It felt like little care had gone into the preparation, which was disappointing given the otherwise high standards of the venue. Because of this, we skipped dessert. That said, the stunning location and the peaceful, relaxing time we had there more than made up for the food experience. Breakas is definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere, pool, and beachside bliss – but I’d suggest enjoying drinks and light snacks rather than relying on it for a memorable meal.
Brujita V — Google review
We visited on a Friday to watch the traditional Vanuatu fire show, which seems to take place weekly at this time of year, a fantastic experience. The resort has a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean and a stunning private beach. The restaurant area is mostly outdoors, so you can really enjoy the peace and calm of the sea while dining. There’s also a small bar with comfy seating where you can relax and order all kinds of drinks. Prices are not too high considering it’s a tourist resort, so you can enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. I didn’t stay overnight, but the place looks incredible if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway.

Three Pigs is a modern and friendly spot offering an upmarket yet casual dining experience. It's known for its authentic Mexican cuisine with a tropical twist, including delicious tacos, burritos, and margaritas. The venue provides ample parking and level entrance, making it accessible for all. Guests have praised the mouth-watering dishes like filthy fries with incredible pulled pork, rustic tacos (especially the fried chicken), and rich chocolate brownie.
If you are visiting Efate, Vanuatu I would highly recommend a visit to Three Pigs for dinner. The food is quite good, with menu items consisting of burgers, pizzas etc there is something for everyone. Atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. Staff are friendly and food came out quick. Would highly recommend the loaded fries.

Definitely a must visit when in Port Villa. We had a casual dinner and sampled their burgers. They were delicious and generous portion size. Frieswere also very tasty. Plus the feel of the place had a cool.vibe.

Three Pigs is a nice spot in Vanuatu with decent food and service. The menu has a good variety and the portions are fair, though nothing particularly standout. The staff are friendly and helpful, making it a comfortable place for a casual meal. It’s not the most memorable dining experience compared to some other local restaurants, but if you’re nearby and looking for a relaxed bite to eat, it’s a solid option.

What a hidden gem this place was! We were recommend to go here for a laid back option for dinner and were not dissapointed. We went for an early dinner so the place was not overly crowded when we went but was filling up by the time we were leaving. I am allergic to chili and they were very accommodating to ensure I had a chili free meal that was just as amazing as everything else. I chose the southern fried chicken quesadillas and my parter had 4 tacos. The food was amazing. Presentation was beautiful and it tasted incredible. The service was great, staff were very attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and feel of the whole place. Would highly recommend coming here for a great feed and very reasonable prices.

Great spot in Port Vila with tasty food, cold drinks, and a really relaxed vibe. The portions are generous and it’s a good place to hang out with friends or family. Friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere make it an easy favourite.

We stayed at Nasama Resort and ate here a couple of times. The food is American diner style with burgers, Mexican, pizza etc. therefore do not go here expecting a ‘healthy’ meal. Nothing was standout however the food was ok and all came quick enough. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly with a particular bar tender entertaining us one afternoon! Thank you. Prices are high however it seems to be the case in Vanuatu in general.

Our first time in Port Vila where we stayed at Moorings hotel accommodation. Our room was overlooking the bay, with nice outdoor seating. The room was of a comfortable size, massive bed that was very comfortable. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. On a return trip, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else

I was staying at the hotel so I had breakfast there daily, and also tried the pizza one day plus some iced coffees. The pizza was ok, except it wasn't as described on menu, with many toppings missing. The base was also a bit too doughy for my taste. The iced coffees were made by different people, and all tasted very different, but overall nice. The breakfast was the same every day, cereals, pancakes, coffee, juice and fruit, with egg dishes sold separately (which I didn't try). Overall I thought the bar/restaurant was overpriced as compared to the rest of the island, however perhaps its due to the ambience and the view? The service was also always friendly and accommodating, which was a bonus.

Stayed here for a month for work in 2024. Location was great, close to town. Rooms were clean and one of the very few hotels that has a washing machine in your room. Staff were amazing. Had some wifi issues at check in but were resolved quickly. The breakfast is worth it and the Melanesian night is great entertainment. If you hire a car, parking is also available. Planning on booking here again in May 25

Do not be fooled by pictures online. This hotel is absolutely revolting. The room was so dirty that we couldn’t stay and they had to change our room. The bathrooms have mould. The breakfast made both myself and my partner have an upset stomach.

I stayed here with my friend for 4 nights. Everything was just as good, nothing special to be honest. Breakfast was just scrambled eggs, breads, some fruits and coffee. Room was just okay I can say. But the bad experience I have had is laundry service, I paid for about 1350 vatu and look what I got back. It was even worse and when I went to the reception, they called to the housekeeper to ask what happened but I haven’t got any solution. They still charged me full price for the laundry service while my clothes got stained all over it without any offer, ideas to resolve this problem or any action taken. Please consider once again if you are going to stay at this place. I am really disappointed. This is highly unrecommended.

Stayed as a family for last 2 nights in Vanuatu. If you get level one you can open your door straight to the super large pool and bar. It’s a great location, walking distance to the supermarket and not far to town. Rooms adequate, aircon cold. Its linked to the Italian restaurant downstairs so all the food comes from there.

This property is a scam. Do not book with them. I did not stay here and for good reason - I booked via Booking.com, and reached out to cancel as soon as Air Vanuatu cancelled flights that affected my stay. For 5 days I tried to reach them on Booking.com, via their email, over the phone to request cancellation and waiver of the fee. No response. They ended up waiting until cancellation period passed and charged me the full fee - something that could have been entirely avoided had they bothered to even respond. When I finally, FINALLY, reached someone over the phone, they told me to send them my bank information to an email address that does not exist, insisting that they cannot refund. This would make them the ONLY property on Vanuatu that was wholesale unwilling to accommodate itinerary changes due to Air Vanuatu flight cancellations. Every other property across Vanuatu - in Santo, Port Vila, and Tanna - all were willing to work with the customer. This is the ONLY property that not only refused to communicate, but refused the refund the fees that resulted from their lack of communication.

Pretty decent hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Served a good breakfast with eggs, beans, toast, cake, fruits and cereals for the breakfast spread. You can order additional items like bacon, sausages and ham separately. Good service at the restaurant

The internet is absolutely a shocker! We are in 2025, not 1995, so tell me—what can you really do with internet that is slower than 2 Mbps? The shower is designed so you turn right for hot and left for cold (the opposite of the common worldwide practice). Meanwhile, the basin tap works the standard way. This inconsistency is confusing—did your project manager not notice? On top of that, the basin water pressure is ridiculously strong, while the shower pressure feels like being sprayed on by a 60-year-old man. There is no quilt on the bed, only a single sheet. No free bottled water is provided, even though the tap water is not 100% safe to be considered as potable. The air-conditioning is cooling only. The buffet breakfast offers just sausages and fried eggs as the main options—I have never stayed at a place where the choice was so limited. The room itself is very dated. Worst of all, there is no lift, so you either carry your luggage up and down yourself or ask someone for help. If it were not for work, I would be out of my mind to stay here. That said, one of the restaurant (great food, impatient/grumpy/to-some-extent still friendly staff, I can deal with that) truly stood out. She is an absolute star—if she were working at Port Vila Airport, I am sure all passengers could clear Immigration within 20 minutes. She genuinely deserves a pay rise. The lady working at the pool side bar makes you reckon you own her something, if work is too hard to enjoy, might want leave and stay at home my friend.

Absolute heaven. For a perfect couple getaway this gorgeous resort is the place. We are seasoned travellers and stayed at many 5 star resorts but this is elite. The food here is impeccable- blow your mind amazing. The service is faultless. The crystal waters are full of colourful fishies- snorkel straight of the beach. The day spa will leave you melting. My husband can't believe a place like this exists. If your looking for an adults only experience, this is it. 3hrs from Sydney, 30min transfer will get you to the ultimate flop and drop.

The Havannah is an idyllic location for a couples getaway. We spent seven nights in a Lagoon Villa where our villa opened directly onto the private pool shared with three other villas but was still very private, and was separate to the main resort pool. The rooms are well appointed with streaming etc., and are cool and comfortable. The resort itself is really lovely and reflects local custom and the tropical environment. The staff are remarkable with the constant Vanuatu smile always present and no issue too much trouble. The dining is a highlight with exceptional healthy options for all three daily meals plus afternoon tea. This is great because you can stay wholly within the resort for your stay without having to venture out if you wish. There are a range of activities and outings away from The Havannah to sample and a daily shuttle to Port Vila to explore further. We visited the Turtle Sanctuary; and, had a beach picnic on another day, both on Moso Island which is only ten minutes boat ride across Havannah Harbour. I have to give a shout out to the Manager Raj who is welcoming, on top of everything going on, and adds his personal touch to ensuring that you are aware of all that the resort and the location have to offer. And, the local staff really do make The Havannah and your holiday very special. The Havannah is outstanding, and in our view, one of the best resorts in the Pacific.

The staff are very friendly, our deluxe ocean view spa room was excellent, the restaurant and bars are great for food and drinks, the pools are very clean, the day spa was so relaxing and it was easy to walk around the island. The boat that continually runs to the mainland and back meant we could easily come and go as much as we wanted to. Highly recommended.

We stayed here from 26-31 August for our Anniversary. The room was Deluxe Spa Studio No 120. The view was amazing for Sunset in the spa with champagne every evening. I recommend this room for couple. They provided us with nice room decorations , champagne and dinner table with amazing view & romantic set up. The staff were nice and the service was great . The boat transfer was excellent, no waiting time at all. However the food and drinks were very expensive, you can go to town and get cheaper drinks ( 2 mini can of Coke for VT 1000) also be aware of service charge of the credit card if you use credit card to pay. The swimming pools & bar were good with happy hour but the price was not the best . Not many activities to do in the resort apart from Kayaking & Snorkeling. They had fire dance on Saturday night & Polynesian dance on Tuesday night. The equipments for non- motorized sports were quite old but working. . As this was our first time to Vanuatu, we explored Port Villa and locals - Blue Lagoon , Eton Beach , Village experience and 83 Island Rum Testing (it was wonderful). I suggest to book direct when you are there not online through website or resort . We got lower rate for private driver when we booked direct with locals. . I found that the super market price was more expensive than Australia because most items here were imported from Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. We were lucky to visit during Vanuatu Independence Day . We experienced the true local & history and togetherness of communities in Port Villa. Overall , it is good to experience for one week holiday.

Had the most amazing time 10 nights of total relaxation. The buffet breakfast wonderful. Was great to have option of dining in the restaurant or getting takeaway from Sunset bar. Even cooked a couple of nights after walk to supermarket- all the staff r so friendly and the snorkeling right at your door step with so many different fish was fabulous. We had upgrade to a spa suite and relaxing while looking out at the magic blue water was bliss. The room was great (some of the furniture getting a bit tired) waking up to that view each morning was very special- all in all a 10/10 holiday destination.

Overall we enjoyed our stay however probably wouldn't stay again. We booked the 2 Bedroom Bungalow which was super spacious and had a stunning view. The floor and bathrooms weren't as clean as we'd have liked. But the biggest issue is the distance to and from various locations. Our friends room was on the other side of the resort and it was just too far. It took us 15 minutes with our young kids and there is no offer of carts, buggies or even strollers to get around. The food was also pretty average. And on the nights they have buffets/experiences you can't order food for the kids from the restaurant and the buffets themselves don't have child friendly options. Staff were lovely and the sunsets were incredible.

We stayed 7 nights in a deluxe spa ocean view studio (218) which included breakfast. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean with amazing views. We found most of the staff wonderful, friendly and helpful with a special mention to Lisa, Ruby and the lady greeting us each morning at breakfast. Daily housekeeping was great, we had a truly relaxing time. It was a bit of a walk up and down to our room, but nothing major and did us good. Breakfast choices were plentiful - loved those amazing omelettes. We booked several extras including: Sunset Cruise - fantastic, Local Village & Cultural Tour - well and truly recommend, Fire Show - awesome. We spent plenty of enjoyable time poolside. The short boat trip to Port Vila was so convenient with the resort staff assisting you every time - special thanks. Hubby and I both agree that we had an amazing holiday and would love to return, hopefully bringing our family back. Tank yu tumas :-)

Checked into resort yesterday. Upon arrival to our room found we had actually been downgraded. We booked a penthouse suite and were given a Deluxe Villa. When we went to reception to ask about it we were met with a manger who was very insincere and said that unit is under maintenance until Saturday which is our leaving day. No apologies no compensation. Have followed up with two seperate emails with no response. Very poor management. Current villa is nice but much smaller and doesn't offer the same amenities as what we booked. Still awaiting reply. Most local staff working here very friendly and welcoming. Would not recommend to stay

I went to the Iririki island Resort as a day guest . I was just passing by the ferry that bring you to the island for free and I jumped in by pure curiosity. Arriving on the island you need to pay 2000 VATU to Access the resort and I had a wonderful day . I took a kayak and done the tour of the island . Took Time at the pool . Snorkel in beautiful coral and fish . I can only recommand this place . The staff is the best !! Merci beaucoup ❤️

The rooms are dated but the view from our ocean view spa room was great. Overheard others saying their fan didn’t work in their room. Had trouble with our TV. Doesn’t look like the photos on the website anymore. Everything is way overpriced for quality. Food wasn’t that great and we had to eat at the island a lot otherwise you have to go to the main land which isn’t that much cheaper. Wish we had taken our own snorkel equipment because the island’s was terrible. Kayaking and pools were great though. Overall, felt like an overpriced budget holiday.

Banyan Beach Bar, located at Mele Bay in Vanuatu, offers a range of attractions and activities for visitors. The bar overlooks the scenic Hideaway Island Resort and marine sanctuary, making it a popular destination for cruise ship visitors. On Friday nights, guests can enjoy a captivating two-hour fire show for free. The bar serves casual food such as burgers and woodfired pizzas, and also offers jet ski rentals.
Amazing spot for food and drinks. The pizza were great and food and drinks were very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great. They also have a amazing fire show on Saturday nights. The people were very hospitable and friendly. The manager was also very helpful to us and looked after us. We were very greatly for us service. Highly recommend.

We were recommended this bar and loved it so much we went there a few time during our stay in Vanuatu. Situated right on the waters edge with its own little beach it is in an absolute stunning location, with breathtaking views and a laid back atmosphere, cold drinks at good prices (cheaper than other bars/restaurants we visited) The staff are very friendly and the amenities were clean. We went there around lunchtime on a monday and mid afternoon on a tues so it wasnt busy on either visit, there was a constant flow of customer the whole time and we were told by the bar staff that whiles it's quite during the week it gets extremely busy friday evening and on the weekends. We ordered a hawian pizza while there and it was delicious! Food service was quick and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend visiting Banyan Beach Bar if you are in Vanuatu.

Great food! I had the pizza and my friend had the risotto. We were both happy with our meals. This place also has a nice beach view.

Went there twice - great spot for lunch the first time. If you are in Vanuatu on a Saturday night - this is a MUST! The entertainment - fire show and acrobatics is out of this world!

I tried different pizzas 🍕 in Port Vila. This is by far the best. Pizza hecha a leña 🪵 wood-fired oven. 燃木烤爐 🛖🌴

This is such a vibe! We loved it great food and drinks. The signs are hilarious as well. I can imagine during peak times it would go off!

One of the few places in Port Vila with great atmosphere and a lively vibe. There is music, a young crowd and very good food (we have only tried the pizzas, so I cannot comment about the other dishes). The place also has a nice design and it’s just by the sea. Highly recommended for a lunch/ dinner and night out in Port Vila.

Had the best fish burger ever at Banyan Beach Bar! My husband had a pizza which was also very nice. The view is also lovely and we felt very relaxed there.

Located just a 10-minute walk from the center of Port Vila, Coconut Palms Resort & Diamond Casino offers a range of accommodations from budget guest rooms to self-contained apartments. The resort features a pool, bar with pool tables, and a restaurant serving seafood and Melanesian tapas. While the staff is friendly and the atmosphere warm and welcoming, guests should be aware that there is no WiFi in rooms and the restaurant may be closed at times.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I entered, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my entire stay. The room was not only impeccably clean but also tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The attention to detail was evident, and it's clear that the hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards. One standout aspect was the outstanding service. The staff was not only professional but also genuinely friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was room service or inquiries at the front desk, the efficiency and courtesy were consistently impressive.

We ended up at The Coconut because we had no other choice, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. The atmosphere feels cold and a bit sad as soon as you walk in. The only warm part of the experience was the staff, the reception team and night guard were kind and helpful, and we really appreciated them. But the overall vibe of the hotel just isn’t good. It’s very basic and definitely doesn’t justify the price, we paid 9100 Vatu for one night, and the room felt glacial, both literally and in vibe. We did everything we could to spend as little time there as possible. It’s not a place we’d choose again.
Charlotte G — Google review
This was an overnight accommodation provided by an airline. Whilst they tried to provide as best they could it was not too efficient. Took ages to get us all to our rooms. Then last ones had to share a room! Room promised kettle and tea making facilities. Didn’t eventuate. Tv was Chinese character only and not set up. The included meals was a local takeaway that turned up cold and not that appetizing. But bed was comfy and clean and ac worked so not all bad.
Travelroundwithus — Google review
As for the employees, reception and maintenance staff, nothing to say. The staff is welcoming, available and attentive to customer needs. Thanks to daniella, Lisa, rina, Soise, Carolina and the others I couldn't mention for your kindness and the whole team in general. There are still a few areas for improvement, notably the possibility of eating at the hotel and breakfast. On the payment system, it would be a plus to pay deposits by credit card. Put in a container to filter the undrinkable tap water. Availability of tea and coffee.
Hilarion V — Google review
Daniella was very friendly, all the staffs are friendly. The room is ok for the price, but it wasn’t soundproofing. Otherwise ok for a quick stay
Shushen F — Google review
The hotel is adequate. It was an unpleasant surprise that none of the rooms have refrigerators. And a bit of an indignity when you check out you have to wait around for someone to go check your room to make sure you haven't destroyed it.
Mark L — Google review
The room was very clean n everything felt new, but yeah, the vibe was a bit off, but overall it’s still a great place for budget travelers.

Stone Lounge is a sophisticated, French-owned cocktail bar located near the Stone Grill restaurant. Open to the public from Thursday to Saturday, with the possibility of hosting private events on other days, it offers a breathtaking view, particularly at sunset. The lounge provides an elegant atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy a variety of beverages such as cocktails, wines, beers, and bubbles. Additionally, they offer snacks to complement your drink choices.
Such a fabulous find! We really enjoyed our time at the Stone Lounge that we had to come back for a second night. Super warm and inviting atmosphere, delicious cocktails at a reasonable price and don’t skimp on the booze ;) The staff are so accomodating, recommending various cocktails for us. Would definitely recommend coming before the sun goes down, so you can enjoy the wonderful drinks with a beautiful sunset view. We loved it here, best drinks and atmosphere and was one of our favourite nights out in Vanuatu!

Great place to watch the sunset and have a great cocktail, we enjoyed the beautifully presented pina coladas in coconuts. There is a great sofa area you can also sit at just down from the bar which we very much enjoyed.

Our favourite bar in Port Vila! Lily is an amazing owner who is always excited to meet new people and welcome back old guests. The cocktails are very reasonably priced and delicious (and strong)! The weekly special kept everyone happy. We couldn't get enough and will be back next time we visit :)

Loveddd the stone lounge! Owner Lily is a VIBE! they had the magical forest night tonight, everyone was dressed so beautifully and the cocktail of the week was fantastic! Lilly is the best host and makes you feel so welcome on arrival! We had dinner at the Stone Grill Bar and Restaurant next door and got our cocktails from the stone lounge - they brought them over to you at the restaurant no worries at all. Thanks for having us! When I’m back in port Villa you’ll definitely see me again! Can’t wait to come join the fun! Bonus they have a pool too!
