I visited during Saturday's live music show, not gonna lie the music was great. They've got two floors, first floor is mostly for dining and open bar. The second floor has the stage for live performance with dining. Food was good but not amazing. Everything was overpriced and I don't even know why. Friendly staff and the service was quick. I went alone as a single girl, definitely it's safe and all with okayish crowd. But don't be surprised if you find some creepy young drunk dudes who wouldn't help but stare deep into your soul. I was pretty disappointed with that. Apart from all this, the billing is horrible I don't understand why but they charged me a lot while paying the bill. I had to leave urgently and quickly so I didn't have the time to talk over the bill but I definitely was charged rs 200-300 more. So a suggestion is to go through your bill properly when you decide to pay or all the best getting scammed. I've heard alot about Cafe Hendrix but it didn't meet my expectations. I hope they work on their indoor lighting and interior. Overall, I'd rate my experience 3/5 only because of good music and quick service.

From my point of view, a person who loves 80's and 90's classics... Ambience service and the patrons provide a calm environment No dancing people, sit back, sip and relax. I've heard the weekend live performances add more to the mood PS: Try the smoked pork here!

Lunch on a working day. We were the only customers. Out of the 15 varieties of beer on the menu, only three were available. Fish & chips were brilliant. Chowmein was tasty though a bit oily. This would be a happening place in the evening with live music. Hendrix-ness of the place is evident though a variety of music was played. There is a 20% markup when gigs are playing and this has been advertised everywhere. Good place except that the entry is rather narrow and low roof may make some people claustrophobic. Hope they have a functional fire escape from both the floors.

Always love this place. Decent ambiance. Food they serve are really yum. Specially the smoke pork plate is too delicious. Every time I been to the place make sure to order this one with less spices (next time will take photograph of the dish).

One the of most chilled out pubs in Dispur. They have a good rock n roll theme and also have Band performances every weekend. Decent food and Punjabi food available here was surprisingly good.

Have been visiting this place for over three years now--- it feels impossible to recall any bad memory from this place. Shanghai Salsa is a comfort dream to relax and share time with loved ones. I hope this place keep running in serve as a beautiful space for human bonding. Ofcourse, other reviews cover the excellent food, service and ambience. Also, pocket friendly. The members of the crew are caring and careful about your taste palate. Shoutout to Siddiqui da and Pankaj da for being the best mixologist tending with care and hospitality. This place is a very cozy place and feels like home! The food is good enough and the ambiance is quite cozy and comfortable! The prices are decent! The menu is inspired by Mexican and Asian counterparts! Not a very big menu, you have things to eat! But the range of selection is limited! Talking about the bar section, it has everything you would like to drink on a weekend and get wasted! Overall is a cool hangout place for group of friends and talk for hours!

Loved the ambience plus the service. Food was really good along with the cocktails that we tried today. Special mention to Abu Bakkar Siddique for being such a good host and offering us free shots which were amazing tbh. Will give a second visit very soon.

This place is elegant with an awesome vibe. The atmosphere, food and most of the drinks were great. We ordered a non-veg tandoori platter and the kebabs were delicious. But their services are quite dissatisfied. Billing was not proper also. They should really work on it. Other than this it's a good place to hangout, chill or go out on a date.

We visited Socialite recently and quite disappointed . The food was really bad. Non-veg platter was heavily loaded with soy, which completely overpowered the taste of the dishes. we expected much better quality and flavor. The ambiance is decent, but the food definitely needs improvement. Not worth the price at all.

Visited them after their renovation. The place looks much better than before and has an awesome ambience. It also has a seperate area with table arrangements for those who what to grab a smoke while having their drinks. Found the tandoor items to be good, but the new executive chef has a special expertise regarding continental food. North indian and Chinese dishes are also upto the mark. Overall, it was a great experience with new ambience and new staff.

I have been here quite a number of times. I really like the vibe of this place. Ambience and food is good. All sort of alcohol is served. Great place to hang out with friends and siblings. It has a seperate smoking room also. Just one suggestion i.e. kindly tell your staffs to be more welcoming towards the visitors.

Visited this place on a Wednesday evening after seeing a gig promotion on Instagram. Despite the low ratings on Google, I decided to give it a fair shot, hoping to have a good time. Big mistake. The rooftop had around 15 tables, barely 2 or 3 were occupied. We asked for a table slightly away from the stage since the music was loud — completely reasonable, right? Apparently not. The staff flat-out refused, saying those tables were “reserved” for larger groups, even though no such groups were anywhere in sight. We even offered to move if a larger group showed up. Still a no. Zero effort to understand our point or make a small accommodation. Seeing no sign of hospitality, we decided to leave quietly and go elsewhere. That’s when things went from disappointing to downright absurd. The receptionist, instead of addressing our concerns, shouted at us, accusing us of “creating a scene” and not intending to dine. Completely uncalled for and incredibly unprofessional. I’ve had bad service before, but this was on another level. If you’re looking for a place with basic courtesy and hospitality, steer clear. There are FAR better options on GS Road that actually know how to treat customers. Not returning. Not recommending. Avoid.

A true pub. You can watch cricket and football, have good food and booze, chat, and have a good time in general. The crowd is usually nice and respectful. The interiors are dimly lit and perfect for that evening buzz. The food is decent, nothing exceptional, and the smoking zone is okay. Overall, highly recommended.

The food wasnt good at all. Long wait until they serve you after multiple reminders. Sharing an experience of two times! The bartender tasted my drink in an unhygienic manner before serving! C4 was fine, lasagne was average and another dish looked horrid as it was overloaded! The manager seems to be a fine person and tried resolving issues when told. But they seriously need to amp up now, as their service is going down in the dumps of late!

It has a rooftop bar area with outdoor sitting and indoor sitting area too. It has some unique food items on their menu. Nice range of drinks and snacks. We had drinks, snacks and dinner. For dinner, the plates were of good quantity. Outdoor area has a moderately good view. People smoke, seats are high so could not enjoy there for longer. Indoor is cosy. Inhouse music is good. Service is not bad. Liked their shakes too. Parking area nearby. I have been there on two occasions. On both occassions, I found lamb items unavailable. They take their last order at 11. Pizza was horrible. Try their mutton ghee roast. It is very good. Martinis are good too. Pasta is okayish

I visited them for a second time. We had the lone Star chicken wings which was absolutely wonderful. Perfect 10/10. I would definitely recommend them. I also had the stone grilled chicken steak from the mains section and the spicy chicken Chipotle pasta. They were a bit to salty for my taste, plus the pasta wasn't Al dente and the chicken was quite dry. If i ever visit again i would definitely go for the wings but I wouldn't repeat the other two dishes. The cocktails were average.

The rooftop bar has a great vibe with an amazing view. Very very relaxing. You can enjoy a lot the food is really good and the staffs are very responsible, respectful, helpful and friendly. Not too noisy, feels like home.

Nice place with good music and vibes.. Ola Amigo Nachos comes in large quantity and almost filled our stomach..Kala Khattani tastes pretty much like the kala khata that your roadside gola serves along with the vodka twist.. Pasta is lovely..Jaljeera Vodkatini is okayish..Chilli Garlic Noddle is spicy.. CPC Classic Paneer goes well with it.. brownie with ice cream was a good choice to end the evening!

Dropped by Nuts & Brew in Guwahati on Sunday evening, and it was a pretty decent time overall.The food was a mixed bag. I got the Chicken Makhani Pizza (₹549), Chicken Tikka (₹399), Churros (₹399), and a Spicy Watermelon drink (₹399). The Chicken Tikka was juicy and packed with flavor—loved it. Churros were crispy perfection, and that Spicy Watermelon drink? Super refreshing. But the pizza was a letdown—too oily, though the taste wasn’t bad. Oh, and the prices? Ridiculously high for what you get. Service, though, was a big plus. The staff was really welcoming, which made the vibe chill and friendly. Also, huge shoutout for serving free water—such a rarity these days when every place tries to upsell you a bottle. The ambience totally won me over. The red theme is so cool and cozy—loved the vibe. They’ve got a rooftop too, but it was closed because of possible rain, which was a bummer. The in-house brewery is a neat touch as well—adds some character. Heard there was a DJ night kicking off at 10, but I had to bounce early, so I missed it. Too bad, sounded fun. All in all, Nuts & Brew’s got great service and a killer vibe, but the pricey menu and that oily pizza? Meh. Still, I’d probably swing by again.

I was in Ghy since traveling and got a chance to meet my old school friend So we choose this place , This is a good place to have craft Beer !! 🍺! But Only thing disliked is they charged 4500 from 3 of us since we went as stag I believe and in that only 3000 was redeemable (1500 not ) I mean WTF !! Why ?? I have went to so many breweries / Pubs they can just think off and not in India outside India as well where everything Is always covered that why it’s called cover charge but I think our Assam is always extra 🤣🤣! Waitress behaviour was very good hence given 4 start , Food was ok considering just a pub , overall vibe is good 👍

The first floor bar within Novotel, GS Road, the Malt is a typical business traveller cum guest kinda bar. They have a well stocked bar and keep arrested spirits, wines, beers and tequila. The ambience has a dark lit sitting area. Though a DJ console is visible, I haven’t seen a DJ here whenever I have been here, mostly weekdays. They also serve finger foods to accompany your drinks. Price is tad bit on the higher side considering that Novotel is not a 5 star category hotel; probably a 4-star hotel; not sure! Bar tender Ratna does an excellent job at serving up the booze. He is a jolly good cheerful fella who goes about doing his job seriously! Overall, an ok lazy bar to sit and enjoy a couple of drinks at the end of the day.

Went to the Root Barrel for a fun Sunday evening and while our experience was mostly enjoyable, some parts of it were somewhat underwhelming. The food was decent, here's what we had: Mushroom Duplex, Wok Tossed Chicken, Butter Naan, Kadhai Chicken and Chicken Butter Masala. The mushroom duplex was good but the quantity was too less for the price. The wok tossed chicken was delicious, especially the sauce on it was delectable. The chicken main courses were really good too and their quantities were also decent. Service needs improvement. The servers were polite but they were pretty slow. We were initially served our food without cutlery, so we requested one of the servers to bring us a few spoons. We waited for a long time but they never returned with the spoons. We received spoons only after we asked another server but even that took a while. It also took a lot of time for the food to arrive. However, I understand that it was a busy Sunday evening, so I won't be too harsh on them. But I hope they improve these aspects. They provided us with complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch. Ambience of the place is also really chill.

Overall an ok place. The choice of music was a bit no no for me - 90's bollywood remix? Wth? 90's? 🥴 Ambience can improve as well - maybe add some good lightings? Food is ok, bit room to improve. I ordered Fish & Chips, and there were more chips than fish.. 😮‍💨 Korean wings were good, although a bit too spicy.. Lack of options for beer as they want to push their own craft beer.. There are 2 sections - one upstairs rooftop with good cushion seats. Make sure to make reservations for that (except Sat/Sun as it's always first come first serve in most places). The staff was polite, responsive and hospitable. So kudos to them.

It's a beautiful 2 storey Rooftop Cafe. Lovely ambience with great view from top.Staffs were also so friendly n attentive. We ordered Cocktails also we got nachos with mayos as a complementary. Later we asked for more nachos as it was really crunchy n really going well with Cocktails. You can also try hookah and they got some flavour in it. We had mango one. Great experience loved it.

Used to love this place for its craft beer, but the quality has dropped a lot lately. Beers are over-hopped, oxidized, and just bad. To make things worse, one of our taster glass had a lipstick like stain on it — clearly not washed 🤮. Staff took it back but still charged us! Food and cocktails were decent, and the service staff were polite (one star added for that) — but hygiene and beer quality seriously need attention.

On the downside, the place is slightly on the expensive side, and the service charge felt higher than expected. Good ambience, good beer, good food- BUT don't ever try their pork ribs with barbeque sauce. It was a real disaster. The pork was so old or rotten idk, it smelled real bad, and they just tried to cover that with lots of sauce. I couldn't even bring it near my mouth, the smell was too strong. On top of that, the baked potato was cold. But I'll appreciate their service. One staff member, Mr. Tirki, was an absolute gem. His service was outstanding, and when we mentioned the issue with the pork ribs, he handled it with genuine care and consideration.

One of the finer places in Guwahati. We had their Saison beer. Was thoroughly impressed. They have a lovely ambience, whether you sit indoors or outdoors. Their staff is excellent and very professional. Coming to the food. The chicken 65 tasted good but wasn't authentic. I've had better chicken 65. The quesadilla was pretty good. Served with sour cream, salsa and guac. It was very well done. My favourite dish of the evening was the ravioli. We had the ricotta fennel walnut ravioli. I really loved it. Although I felt the quantity of ricotta could have been more in the filling. But overall I really liked it. Their pollo pizza was is the best in the city. I have never had such amazing pizza in Guwahati. The baked cannelloni was amazing too. The filling had the perfect amount of ricotta and spinach and the sauce was great. Overall it was a pleasant experience and i would love to visit again.

One of the best places to spend quality time in the city. The Ambience is amazing. Professional staff and Nice hospitality. The quantity of food served in platters are sufficient for the mentioned number of people. We absolutely loved the food here and drinks too. I will definitely recommend this place for a date night.

Experience was not good during my two days stay. Room was booked with 2 persons but one small bed was there though it is manageable but it is not desirable. They did not prepared the room as per the requirement of two persons, AC remote was not working though they provided us working remote later on. Service is not that good as per the booking price.

The rooms are small and not very clean. The bathroom and toilet are attached, but the shower area is so small that you can barely move.I really didn’t like this guest house and wouldn’t recommend it. The room size is okay for the price, but the cleanliness is just not good."

Urban mantra is a very good place for hangout with friends. The Place is very nice and well maintained. Staff is very much friendly. The Sound quality of the stage as well as the decorations is very much attractive. Various singer performed here. They also have some tie up like thing with SOFAR music Launge etc. Overall , Its a paisa wasool deal. And maximum time the entry is free. Food is not costly as compared to other pub. The hall is very specius, extra smoke zone, are of their heilight.

Dim and smoky bar, the air was filled with the sounds of live music and the laughter of a raucous crowd. It was Suzonn night. He sang about love and loss. People danced, drank and sang along with the music, lost in the moment and the energy of the show. The bar was a little slice of heaven, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and let loose and just have some fun. Everyone was there for the music and the atmosphere and no one seemed to care about anything at the moment. It was a night to remember, a night filled with music, laughter and good times.

If you are into live stand up comedy this place is for you,they also host live band performances,Musical shows and Parties. Hall area is little bit small but optimum for 50-70 people at a time.

Urban mantra is a great place for hangout with friends. The Place is very nice and well decorated. There are some excellent speakers on their system. Various artists performed here. I was here on a standup comedy show performed by Rajat Chauhan. Food quality is great at reasonable price. They also have a separate smocking zone here.

The place is small with an outside seating area. The ambience is good with a great view of the Guwahati city & the surrounding hills. The service was quick and the servers were courteous and helpful too. We ordered shepherds pie and a few more items. The items were freshly cooked, the portions served were good and did taste great. The prices were reasonable too( comparatively). However, no good/premium beers were available. Also, the toilet could have been a bit more clean.

Went for couple of drinks & dinner. The outside sitting area is so cozy with a view of the city. Live music was going on. The service was very good. Hood cocktails and spirits also has bottle options. Food was amazing specially the Ceasar Salad n Burgers. A big Yes next time

The place was buzzing with energy, and the live gig by the duo Albhi & Parshiv absolutely stole the show. Their performance was top-notch and set the perfect mood. It's one of the few cafes in Guwahati where both the food and service is equally good. Their cocktails are amazing too. I've frequented this place a lot and my experiences have been great everytime.

Over hyped. We went on Saturday night. Only to find a decent crowd around 1 am. Music was awesome. Perhaps the only positive point. Drinks are at par with clubs of mumbai and delhi. But the club sense is very much lacking. The sitting deck is spacious. Food is not so great. Worst part is the service. Arrogant waiters. There is a cover charge plus entry fees. Something unusual. Please check the bill twice. Would only recommend if you wish to party late and have no better options.

I visited this place about a month ago with three friends, and what should have been a fun night turned into a complete disappointment. Towards the end of the evening, when most people had gathered near the dance floor, we started ordering drinks directly from the bar in that area. What followed was nothing short of shocking — we were repeatedly overcharged, and it seemed they were taking advantage of the fact that we were a bit intoxicated. It only came to light because we double-checked our bills each time and had to get them corrected — more than once. And it wasn’t just me — everyone in our group faced the same issue. The drinks are already overpriced, but resorting to sneaky billing tactics is simply outrageous and unacceptable. I’ve been to several pubs across India, and I’ve never experienced something this unprofessional. We spent over ₹20,000 that night — for what I’d honestly call average-tasting food — and while the vibe may have been decent, the unethical conduct by the bar staff completely ruined the experience. When we shared this incident with other friends, quite a few mentioned they had faced similar billing issues here too. That says everything. I don’t usually write reviews, but this left a bitter taste — and for that reason alone, I will never be returning.

I spent ₹12k here and got physically assaulted by the staff. Imagine 5–6 employees ganging up and throwing punches at paying customers for taking their video of rude behaviour. They are bullies, not professionals. If you value your safety, do not go here. If you want to get physically assaulted, feel free! The staff here is the rudest anyone can be. He was rude and aggressive saying it’s time to go, but I thought okay, he’s doing his job. But then they have an after party at Elite till 5:30 am in the morning and the same set of people were bullying other people. Not people, they were customers. I stood up to them and said please don’t misbehave and they started raining punches on me. Imagine 5-6 people charging on you and you can’t do anything being a guest in Guwahati. I took a video and they snatched my phone, and started punching me again. I request you, please don’t go here! A cry for help! You can go to Nuts and Brew, Beer cafe, Shanghai Salsa. All of them have amazing and friendly staff! Attaching my medical report of being physically assaulted with the staff who did it.

Had an amazing time as a first timer . Enjoyed the live music performed by Yuva on Friendship Day. Would love to visit the place again. Staff are professional and well behaved. You guys can check out and feel the great experience.

I recently visited NYX and was looking forward to a great night out. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations. The club's cooling system was woefully inadequate, leaving patrons sweltering in the heat. This made it difficult to enjoy the music and ambiance. To make matters worse, the entry fee of ₹1500 felt excessive, especially considering the lack of comfort due to the heat. The drink prices didn't help either - ₹750 for a Corona beer seemed steep. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and overcharged. Hopefully, the club will take steps to address these issues and provide a better experience for their patrons

Too pricey. The same LIIT costed 440 .An here its price is 550 and the quantity is also less. Good for a sports night with booze and friemds company and cheer the favourite team. Feels good only when the crowd is good. Too dark. Service is good though, polite and helpful

Nice place to hang out with friends and collegues. Music and ambience is great. The volume of music is just at the point where you can here what everyone is saying at your table but not the chatter from other tables. The staff members are also very friendly.

Everything was good including food drinks music and price except one of the stuff. Other stuffs were quite good. I asked one of the stuff to get me 3 gold flake lite. He said I can get it from outside but i will charge extra 10 rs. i said ok and gave him 500. He returned me only 400. He took 45 rs as a charge to get it.

Good ambience, not a pretentious pub. Happy Hours offers 2pm_8pm) are one to one except for wine which 2 drinks 1 free. Limited but good wine collection. Had Bonfire chicken, Murgh Angara Flam with wine & orange papaya salad washed down with a glass of Two Oceans Chardonnay.

Located at Kamarpatty, Fancy Bazar, Guwahati. This bar was set up in the mid 1980s and as such its interiors are mediocre. Almost all the popular brands of alcoholic beverages are available here and also a limited number of Indian and Chinese dishes are served. Had Blender's Pride Whisky and peanut masala. Found to be ok. Not a bad place to go for taking into consideration of the cost factor.

Overall it was a nice experience, good food and beautiful ambiance. Except the drinks (mocktails) that I had not to my taste as compared to the price.
