One of my favorite bars ever. Sitting here on a warm summer night during the Palio just cannot be beat! A bar, not really a restaurant, but nice snacks or nuts/chips that come with drinks. And the atmosphere is amazing! Plus very attentive and friendly waiters and waitresses - what else can you ask for?! 😊

A bar on Piazza il Campo that is right in the thick of things. In such a busy tourist place, it was so good we came here 4 times in 4 days, twice for lunch and twice for pre-dinner drinks. Vegan options (the veggie and chick pea cream focaccia is excellent, as is the vegan salad) are available. Great service and for people watching, it cannot be beat. Even great in the rain, with large umbrellas and awnings. And they have free snacks!!! Peanuts and large croutons for wine, chips (crisps) for other than wine.

We hosted our wedding welcome party here and it was FANTASTIC. We had the whole space, including the terrace, for 3 hours, with food, spritzes, and beer & Prosecco. The service was wonderful, food was delicious, and the setting is unbeatable. They were great at making clear it was a private event and didn’t force us out at the end of our time, just let us keep hanging out in a corner of the terrace. Can’t recommend enough!! Thank you guys!

Can’t beat this location. We had a lovely dinner experience. Victor, the host, was fantastic. He provided excellent customer service and was great to our kids - made it easy to dine out with them. Also the owner was very attentive and the food was delicious.

We had an extremely enjoyable wine and aperitif experience here along the streets of Siena. You have the option to sit outdoors or inside, and their selection of wines and cocktails is wide and reasonably priced. We stopped for some quick evening drinks and thoroughly enjoyed the service and small bites.

If you are not from Siena and best friends with the staff, do not go here. It would be hard to find a less welcoming and friendly bar on the planet. There is a wonderful Enoteca with a top notch bartender for friends and family and then a hostile unfriendly GTFO place for the rest of us. Why be in the hospitality industry if you are so inhospitable?

Great atmosphere for a pre-dinner drink. Lots of creative cocktail choices and nice wines plus a selection of interesting non-alcoholic cocktails enjoyed by my pregnant wife.

My girlfriend and I stayed for about 2 hours We ordered 1 bottle and 2 glasses The wine was good but service stone cold, I had to ask for a menu after waiting 20mn and was handed a qr code None of the 2 waiters made us feel welcome at any point, which almost ruined our experience

Check out this “new” version of Aperol Spritz Select - not only the color is amazing! Besides, the bar has super friendly owners and it’s a great spot to hang out in Siena :) Oh and I almost forgot the best - there’s yummy and special snacks with it!😁

Best meal I’ve had all year while traveling the globe. Food was delicious. We had the Tuscan soup called Ribollita, Ravioli with saffron sauce and the braised beef. All were amazing. Also had wonderful wines by the glass. Tough to get a spot here so best to make reservations in advance or roll the dice and get there half hour before opening and they might be able to squeeze you in but low likelihood.

I was here 10 years ago and it had much more authenticity at that time, it is so much more touristy now… food came approx 4 mins after we ordered it (primi piati, so pasta, not cold appetizers). Food is ok, far from special. Service quick and very good. Wine list impressive, some great value finds can be seen.

We ate pecorino souffle with pear, tagliata with truffle and cinghiale al latte. The first and the latest were just amazing, dishes with flavours and textures very different from the ones i usually have. The tagliata was disappointing, don't get me wrong, it was also good but since it was the most requested dish and also the most expensive i was expecting more from it. I also enjoy my meat rare, and since the plate was really hot, the meat continues cooking in it which i didn't quite understood the point. Overall, an excellent dinner with high quality ingredients and good food prep.

One of the best restaurants in Siena, been there from recommendation and I am very happy with outcome. It wasn’t cheap but definitely worth every penny. We ordered some appetizers, after that a great Fiorentina steak with freshly cut truffles and long cooked beef in Brunello wine with potatoes puree with cheese and truffles. Of course we ordered a bottle of Chianti Classico. Staff was very nice and we had a great time. Great recommendation for every one. But it is absolutely needed to make a reservation beforehand.

It's fine. We booked a rezzie 2 months in advance and got excited. Service was good but we felt rushed at a 7pm reservation. The food is just - blah. Maybe this is classic Italian but it's just not for me. Cauliflower soup as a free starter, was what it sounds like. We got the tomato flan (skip it), the lasagna was passable but I didn't finish it, the truffle gnocchi was flavorless and then braised beef in red wine sauce was just that. Very small portions for the prices and an uninspired side salad if I've ever seen one. 100 euros better spent anywhere else. They probably serve some really great food but I couldn't find it.

There were lots of great places to eat while we were in Italy but our trip to La taverna di San Giuseppe was one of my favorites! I'll start by saying I love truffle & as you can see from this photo, there was plenty on my lunch :) We arrived right before their lunch service ended (we're sorry;) but the staff took us right in & made sure we had a great experience. The soufflé al pecorino fresco di Pienza e salsa di pere Is a great way to start. Warm, cheesy with a little sweet from the pear. It was fantastic! My steak was cooked perfectly & the truffle added just the right amount of earthiness. I had the 4 little dessert sampler but should have gotten another soufflé...haha. When we're back in Italy we're definitely going to spend more time in Siena & eat here again!

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. Its atmosphere is so special, highlighting the beauty of Siena, and we had the most spectacular food. The staff went out of their way to celebrate my partner’s birthday! Thank you and we cannot wait to return one day!

A cute little bar hidden away in a very touristy part of town, it’s definitely worth the detour. Amazing selection of wines, including natural wines and orange wines, and a truly exceptional cheese platter with a dozen delicious varieties. The service is very friendly too.

We had a wonderful meal tonight at Vineria. The beef stew, gnocchi, and salad were excellent. We were looking for authentic Tuscan cuisine and we found it. Thank you for the lovely dinner.

I went there 2 days ago and it was amazing. The wine. The cheese. The service. Then I invited some friends to come today. We arrived the 4 of us and they had two tables of 2 and the server was incredibly rude saying we had to sit separately and she would not join the two tables although they were were next to each other and said we had to sit separately if we wanted to stay. We decided to leave. Will not go back because I hate to be mistreated for nothing. A shame!

Really cozy place very close to the Duomo. Fantastic food, good prices and amazing service. Home-feeling restaurant that we will visit again whenever we are in Siena. No pizza, no pasta, no coffee but great crostini and cantucci e vin santo. 😊

We read the reviews and had to check this small traditional tavern out. I was very interested in trying the Ribolita and it was awesome. My comfort food at home is beans and cornbread. The Ribolita bowl reminded me very much of my home comfort food. However, the Ribolita had so much flavor and more definition than beans and cornbread at home. Kudos for continuing this traditional dish. We will definitely return when we visit Siena again..

This was our go to bar during our two week stay in Siena. It has great vibes - friendly and unpretentious- we went there a lot. Whether it's an evening drink (which always comes with a snack) or a lovely lunch (the lunch special is fantastic), we were always recognised and the service was great! Thanks Bar Impero

My cousins and I were having a good time and actually enjoying the pizza when the waiter comes to pass my cousin something and while reaching it my cousin spills his full cocktail that he hasn’t touched yet(first picture).The waiter doesn’t acknowledge it and walks away, no help with the mess or anything I didn’t notice this part honestly it’s not the end of the world but my cousin was disheartened about his drink so I went to the bar and explained the situation and asked if it can be remade they seemed upset though I don’t think that’s a huge request, but the woman said they’re do it …20 minutes later (it was not busy at all nobody was inside and there was like two other customers out there with us) they bring us this…I’m telling you in real life there was like 20+ flies in there…it was intentional and this is a picture seconds after they served it to us so they didn’t all just fly in there they were still and not struggling I swear they gotta have a bowl of saved bug corpses that they use on Americans they don’t like cuz what the heck was that 😅 I only asked for it IF POSSIBLE if it was that big of an inconvenience then just say no to the remake is all I’m saying. This is my first time making a review I’m not like this but it had to be shared.

The Worst “Italian Experience” in Siena. Avoid at All Costs! If you’re looking for the rudest waiter in all of Italy, congratulations, you’ll find him at Guido in Siena. We walked in, just wanting to enjoy a simple coffee. The machine was literally on, other guests were drinking coffee right in front of us and yet, the bald waiter with an aggressively short haircut looked at us and said, “No coffee here.” Apparently, his job is to play the role of some budget-version Italian macho, think Eros Ramazzotti, but only if Eros had given up music, charm, and manners. His attitude? Cold. His tone? Arrogant. His service? Nonexistent. It takes a special kind of talent to make guests feel unwelcome in a country famous for hospitality, but he’s clearly mastered it. If you value your mood, your time, and your love for Italy, skip this place. There are dozens of wonderful cafés in Siena. Guido is not one of them.

We have chosen this restaurant coincidentally as good rated restaurants were having a siesta time. As we have seen quite few people sitting around we have made a decision to stay there, and it was our biggest mistake. The waiter quite confused came back to us few times and with no attention took our order. First we didn’t receive our plates as we had shared pizzas. Secondly brought us water instead of beer mixing up orders from other table. Pizza was disappointing and really disgusting, I would say any pizza from supermarket would taste better. Whenever came to pay for our receipt waiter asked me which order was ours, not knowing which notes belonged to which table. We ordered Margherita for: 7euro Prosciutto: 8.50 (that was normal ham not real prosciutto) & glass of Fanta, one glass of orange juice and one beer. We ended up with 40euro bill. When I asked why there is overcharge they told me about 8euro charge for preparing our table. We ate only half of pizza as my wife didn’t want to touch it after few bites. When I told the cashier that pizza was bad he could not take any negative opinion arguing with me. Please 🙏 don’t go there if you really appreciate quality and expect having a good family time…

Owner barked at us already on the way in, which was amusing. Drinks were cheap and there were two packs of crisps thrown on the table - nice touch. Paying at the till inside, I discovered their highly creative commercial model of adding 1 Euro per drink service charge. You can see in their faces, they have long lost their motivation to leave a half decent impression.

Classic tourist trap. Its on good position, but Tagliatelle is not tasty at all and pizza seemed like classic frozen pizza. Avoid

Service was good and fast, however, it seems like a tourist trap. We asked if we could have a beer, which was not on the menu but we got it anyways. Then we paid 7€ for 0.4L (not a specialty beer, classic tap Moretti). We should have asked for the price before ordering but well… that’s exactly how tourist scams operate.

We ordered a pizza and a few beers. The food was amazing and, in my opinion, cheap. Restaurants in the area offer the same food at a higher price, but unfortunately they have messed up my order and were rude. That's why they are getting 3 stars from me.

What a gem of a spot just down the hill from the Cathedral. Worth the 10min walk. Also away from the tourist spots that charge more. Andrea was great and he had good english. We had a great meal but their coffee options are amazing. Also many many gluten free options. Must go to spot

My wife was able to have a GF pistachio croissant for the first time which she LOVED! Staff are really friendly, cappuccinos were excellent too. Highly recommend - lots of gluten free options/pastries, more than it seemed at first glance as they are kept in a separate cabinet to avoid contamination!

This is the place to come for a bite to eat and a drink! The atmosphere is great and the staff is so warm and friendly. We had Lorenzo serving us and he was so accommodating and kind. He was very considerate of my dietary needs I was able to get a gluten and dairy free meal and it was delicious!!!

Amazing sandwiches here, I believe I had the panino with baked ham and fontina. Coffee was great, f your an American tourist you’ll appreciate the Cappuccino maxi. It’s a double sized coffee vs the traditional smaller cappuccino. The service by Lorenzo was excellent, he was friendly and kind. We appreciated the hospitality and food here while visiting Siena

This little cafe was our favorite place to get breakfast every day before leaving Siena to head out for a day in Tuscany. It's perfectly located by the Parcheggio Caterina (the only parking lot near escalators up to Siena). Every day we'd head down the escalators and fuel up at Bladis before heading out. Great cappucinos (all we tried) with good food choices and a decent selection of good-quality pastry. We just loved starting our day at this place and it was really convenient to where we were parked. The service is fantastic. The owner looks like a rock star. He was pretyy cool. Great service from everyone.

Visited BLANDIS on a whim a couple of weeks ago, and was so surprised at the quality of the gluten free food there! Love it so much! As a celiac it has been so hard to find really good food. I absolutely recommend BLANDIS to whoever visits Siena!

Well done Paulo, great Gin and tapas! If you like to try different gins then this is the place to come. The team have managed to create a slice of the Mediterranean in a glass. Bravo!

It's good. Ambience and quality of drinks are good. I didn't taste the tapas so perhaps i need to go again to check. Though I must say sitting in the outside part (covered), the acoustics was really annoying or maybe i was just unlucky that I had loud people around. Anyway, the only decent bar in that part of town.

Nice spot for aperitif or a quick bite and a glass of wine. One of the owners produces a good local brand of gin called Senensis, which they use to make cocktails and also sell for a hefty price (40€ per bottle). The guys doing service are always chill and cordial, and the environment is relatively quiet. I'm not giving 5 because of parking, generally not available close by, and location. Position isn't the best, and while the interior is perfectly fine, right outside the bar there is a common road.

The food was really good. Considering how close to the center it is, I was expecting it to be a tourist trap. It wasnt. Maybe they took a while to serve us but it paid off.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, especially a man who manage the tables. Pici is really good although it is a bit salty for me at first bite. I also tried wine tasting in small serve and they were all nice. Thank you for a good food experience in Siena.

Lovely staff with plenty of bottles lining the walls, a warm cosy room as well as tables outdoors, and an engaging selection of wines by the glass and bottle. The beef tripe, pork stew, rigatoni, and ribollita were spoon-and-plate licking good, and the green salad was fresh and tasty. Excellent value

Discovered this gem when visiting Siena. We walked past it, and it looked so good, we had to circle back. A wine bar with amazing, delicious food. We had a red wine tasting, and had two soups - vegetables & tomato. It was a cold day - and this was exactly what we needed. We were there just after lunch time, and didn't want to eat too much - but all around us tables were filled with incredible looking and smelling food. Wine was delicious - had an amazing red. Btw, the wait staff is incredibly sweet, accommodating and so beautiful! A true Italian treat!

Great food and wine, cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice servers, even in the high heat and lunch rush. The Gnocchi was excellent! The bruschetta toast was a little to hard for my liking, but overall very good. I asket for some balsamico for my bruschetta twice (and got a "yes, ofcourse" answer twice), but the balsamico never came. Maybe it's offensive to ask for balsamico for bruschetta in Italy? 😅🤷‍♀️

Everything is good except the substandard portion of beef stew. You can clearly see the difference portion in my photos. All in all, we are still happy with the food and service.

Excellent terrace seating for the view of Piazza del Campo & today the Giro della Nobile Contrada del Bruco. In the blazing sun, perfect place in cover for drinks.

Spectacular location just next to Piazza del Campo. Service was spot-on and they have fresh Guiness on tap. Only downside - no toilet seat, which was quite unconvenient at the time, as I was dealing with the turtlehead issue

Ideal place for a quick stop for a panino (Italian sandwich), a beer or a glass of wine. It's self service oriented. The place looks like a pub with rock music and also gives the feeling of a cave. Everyone was very friendly. As a tip: get one of the two tables at the window to enjoy the view of the central square.

We came across this pub as we explored Siena. Linda, our server, was friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and made amazing cocktails. We can’t wait to go back!

It's an adorable place with nice staff and great music. The food is delicious. I had a Pluto sandwich and it was amazing! I highly recommend this place if you want to run away from the traditional restaurants.

Aperitivo buffet for €10 was a great deal, good variety of foods and comes with a drink (I chose aperol spritz). Walked in with no idea what to expect and left very satisfied

Very bad experience. I went with the ciaoflorence tour. The guides trick you into buying lunch (they tell you that this is typical. The guides who accompanied me were Lucia and Gabriel). I am not going to put anything more than what I have read in other reviews from clients who have had the same experience as me.

Was told if you didn’t order full meal you cannot seat inside the restaurant. Even though, I have alr pre-booked a meal set. To make things worst, the pasta is not even edible. Not even cooked! So hard. And tasteless. Like literally no taste. At all.. how can this be. Pasta in Italy is as such? 🤮🤢

Not the best food, eatable but if you have any other option I would recommend to pick something else. Tasteless pizzas, carbonara with so much pepper that you couldn’t taste anything else, shrimps were actually good but served with gnocchi in pure oil as sauce weren’t the best choice. Very touristic atmosphere, didn’t feel welcome at all. Also it’s very loud

Not a bad place to eat, but not my favorite for pizza. I've had better elsewhere. There was too much moisture in the cheese and the crust got limp.

The restaurant is very well located, but the service is messy, as I’ve order for antipasti, drinks and means. The drinks never showed up, the antipasti order to be delivered before the main dishes, arrives together with the meals. I’ve asked 3 times for the drinks, but no solution, olive oil, I’ve to pick up by myself. The meal looks ok. In the check out after my request the cost for the drinks was removed, but the manger refused to exclude the “Coperto” some small value that mean a kind of tips to seat in the table, it not a Italian way, the manager probably is a worse boss that doesn’t have any level of competence to work with consumers/clients. Sorry for the r the staff that work with him

So we were walking towards Siena Cathedral when we saw their €5 drink and appertivo offer. Since we had two under 18, first we asked if they could order anything non-alcoholic and get the offer. And it was a yes!! We spent the next hour there with our drinks (mine was pina colada) and eating from a fantastic buffet that had finger sandwiches, pizza, pasta, rice salad, fries, peanuts and what not!! We all had a blast. It was crowdy, sitting areas were also available outside but not in the beautiful tent which was for those having dinner. All items in buffet was good, and was changing rapidly. Best €5 spent.

Delicious vegan crostini with vegan cheese, truffle and vegetables, and good wine selection. Lovely place to stop for lunch!

Tourist trap. I don't often write bad reviews but this place really surprised me. The cheese selection was ok but a bit pricey. The accompanying bread was stale. Not a bit stale but fully stale as in hard. The really off putting bit was their reaction to me asking what the "servizio a persona" meant. Rather than answer my question they got really heated and demanded I follow them outside to see it listed on the menu. I told them I just want to know what it means and they relaxed a little - they must often have people debate it since they jumped from neutral to aggressive so quickly. Seems a pity as there are so many other positive reviews but my review is based on my experience. Hopefully if you eat here you don't get stale bread and bad attitude.

Was immediately attracted by the sign “no pasta, no coffee, no soft drinks”. We loved the place, the feel and the owner was amazing. We tried some awesome pecorino cheeses paired with great flavors of honey and of course the wine was amazing.

It is a classy restaurant in the heart of Siena. It is a little bit pricey but the food was very delicious. I had typical pasta caccio e Pepe and it was fantastic. The service was polite with attention to every detail.

The best crostini I have ever tasted! We had the perfect lunch break here, tasted some good cheese, the creamiest ricotta and a good glass of wine recommended by the owner. Thank you for a nice lunch and service, and hope to see you soon!

We truly liked this idilic environment. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and decided to also order some antipasti. When ordering a sort of bruschetta we got the comment we need to order 2. Because it's too less. Kind off blew us off. Also repetitively asked to buy more water. Out of principle we declined. Perhaps would have bought a bottle of wine but due to this experience decided to move on

This place is a hidden gem, simple yet quality food, we have ordered truffel mortadella cut board, lard, percorini cheese truffle oil crostoni, one glass of Brunello, all are to die for. The service was very friendly and cheerful. I think this restaurant showcase some essence of Tuscany kitchen, simple but tasty. @Owner, maybe can you let me know which bottle of Brunello you have in your restaurant, it was so good :) Thx

This was a very popular place recommended to us by our tour guides. We came in and it is quite busy with locals. They have quite the selection of food and it all looked very fresh. I got a crab salad, shrimp and avocado salad, pasta with tomatos and anchovies with onions. Everything is so fresh and packed with flavor I loved every bite I got and wish I could have tried more. It's one of the best meals I have had in Italy and the best thing is how affordable it is. My SO got a delicious glass of wine, various types of ravioli and pastas and cutes of meat for a great price and he is still also thinking about this place. Highly recommend and it is a must visit!

Great little stop here to grab a drink. We didn’t have a lot of time as on a scheduled tour with strict timings. Told the host who first greeted us and he sat us promptly and took our orders quickly. Drinks came out in no time. Lots of people here and the food looked good as well. Wish we had been able to try it. Super service and very friendly compared to the overhyped Pasticceria Nannini Conca D'Oro a few doors down which is dirty, overcrowded and poor service. Go here instead, you won’t regret it!

A posh-looking grocery shop with a buffet lunch on offer. The food in display is spot on, but the service is brief and friendly like a German train station food stall. We went with a local craft beer (quite nice) and a (so so) Prosecco. Sadly, no bubbles aside from the Prosecco, our ask for an alternative spumante was blissfully or other options ignored. The restroom (just one unisex for 🚻) was a real appetite-killer, due to its grade of filthyness. Gastronomia Morbid would be worth another visit if the service decides to treat customers with a main level of friendliness and they hire a cleaning service for the loo. Otherwise, it’s overpriced spot for service masochists. About their response: Saying to that they don't only have prosecco by the glass is not honest. We asked for alternatives by the glass, but they rudely told us they only have that. Of course they have other bubbles bottles, but a bottle of Franciacorta before lunch seems a bit adventurous. As for the toilets: They have one (1) toilet for men/women. This was already brutally dirty in the preseason (June). In August, you'll probably need a bio-hazard suit to enter.

Not very tourist friendly if you come here without a guide. I asked for a lasagne but was unaware I have to first get a ticket, then walk slightly further down (not allowed to go anywhere near the main cashier) then order my food, but can’t order a drink at the same area (must now go to the main cashier), then once you’ve finally got your food and drink you I’ll have no cutlery so you grab some but then met with outcries as someone must personally give you your cutlery. Love the hospitality. Really very welcoming.

Check out the Coppa, I never had a better one. I bought 2 vacumised coppa for my friend, they love it…

Idyllium Pienza is definitely a beautiful spot – the view and the atmosphere are absolutely stunning. We had an Aperol Spritz and just enjoyed the moment. It’s a lovely place to relax and take in the scenery. That said, the prices felt a bit high for what we ordered. Still, a great experience overall if you're in the area and looking for a scenic stop

The restaurant is primarily amazing because of the stunning views that it offers right outside looking over the farmlands. The inside is quite unique as I can’t describe it but very cool decorations you have to see yourself.

A beautiful day in Pienza today, but the rudeness of the waiter was so overwhelming that I finally understood why the bar with the most stunning view is always empty!! I could bring so many clients who wouldn’t mind paying 12 euros for a beer – they would just like the waiter not to be disgusting and to know how to do his job when someone asks if they can look at the menu. It will remain empty, because neither my euros nor my clients’ will ever go there again…

The menu was just unusual. It took us quite a while to figure out what to order. We just wanted something simple and tasty to finish off our day. Unfortunately it was neither. Being unable to decide on an order, we asked for recommendations. We took the recommendations but overall we were not satisfied. The dishes were thought out but the combination of flavors just didn’t work well. The view was great, however, not worth the money spent.

Very good food and very quick service. Unfortunately their outdoor seating is seemingly in a playground, and the stools are slanted away from the table causing uncomfortable seating. Their indoor seating seems to have no AC and is quite hot compared to outdoor, so outdoor was preferable. Definately nice and for a good price, would recommend if you're okay with the outdoor seating issues.

Decent pub in the middle of Siena with a reasonable selection of beer and some options for burgers and pizzas. Being one of the few spots that also offers food, it's fairly popular with the younger crowd and only later in the evening it becomes populated by older groups. The pub also offers tabletop games.

Be prepared for a BIG burger! the best kind of potatoes. Good beer and good service. What more could you ask for?

Tourists trap, stay away!!!! The worse experience for an afternoon break: 18 euros for 2 hot chocolates (that tasted so bad that we didn't even finish them) and 2 pieces of cakes that were so tiny that the 2 combined could have made barely a normal portion. We had friends recommend we find Key Largo for an aperzol spritz and sit on their terrace that over looks the square. We’re so glad we did. The bar is off the main square yet was no over run with tourists. The terrace is the perfect covered perch to people watch with a drink. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Awesome place for those visiting Siena, Italy and already being a bit fed up with pizza and pasta. There are only like 2 things on the menu - chicken wings and smash burgers with fries - that’s what we went for and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful time!! Kieran and his staff were very friendly! We had the wings which were amazing!! And I am a wing snob. We also had the cheese burger which was fantastic! We got a lot of good recommendations for things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this place! The location is also on top of some amazing Etruscan caves.

The Irishman is an amazing spot in Siena! An Irish pub is not your typical tourist stop when you think of Italy, but if you’re looking for a great experience then highly recommend stopping by for a drink (or more), the famous chicken wings, and a conversation with Kieran (the Irishman). Such a good spot that we came back three nights in a row at some point each evening. Kieran also pointed us to some local restaurants and a winery that were less known, but fantastic. Look forward to visiting the Irishman again next time we are in Siena.

I cannot stress this enough, this is perhaps the greatest pub in all Italy. Solid options, great food and Kieran is a gosh darn legend of a human. There is simply no better place in all of Siena, nay Tuscany…no, all of the great country of Italy. Go, you won’t be disappointed and it will be the highlight of your trip

Absolutely terrible service. I was treated with complete disrespect by a staff member (tall, blonde woman, around 50 years old) at the Siena location. I simply hesitated when choosing a dessert and politely asked to switch it — she was visibly annoyed. When I later asked for a takeaway coffee at the register, she raised her voice and rudely told me I should have said that at the bar. When I calmly said “okay,” she yelled that I was “demanding too much.” This was shocking, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I will never return and do not recommend this place to anyone. I’ll be leaving a negative review on every platform possible.

Amazing spot to stop for the best ice cream and the best pastries! So much to choose from! You can also sit inside for a quick bite or cafe. Authentic pastries and amazing cakes and tortes. Make sure you pick up a little bit of each! They also ship. My favorite are the cookies ! The staff was very busy, yet extremely efficient and fast! Looking forward to going back next year!

Absolutely love the whole vibe of this place from the coffee bar in the front to the huge selection of pastries. Without a doubt, you must get the ricciarelli cookies. Siena is also famous for their ancient fruit cake called panpepato. We didn’t taste it but bought one wrapped for a gift. I’m sure it will be delicious based on the three desserts we did try. But extra of everything or you will regret it.

Shitty service the lady at the counter has some sort of attitude problem. Felt like I ran her dog over or did some sort of disservice while ordering. Tiramisu was frozen in the middle far from decent especially for 7 euros. Cappuccino tasted and looked cheap. Hot chocolate was the only plus it is actual chocolate but they don’t have the option of cream.

Walked in here two days ago thinking it would be nice but it was chaos inside and dirty. We were seated but no one came to take our orders. Waited 10 mins and still no one and when I went to ask was told that I will be served when they were ready. Extremely poor service. Not sure how the food and drinks were as at that point I chose to walk out as service and cleanliness means more to me than the quality of the food and drinks. Choose Gastronomia Morbidi Cocktail Bar over this place - drinks and excellent service there where you’re not treated as just another dollar sign.

Food was tasty with unusual compositions. Thoughtfully prepared, strong versions of regional fair. The beetroot tortellini was the standout by far.

Disappointing experience - charming location however, the food was not good enough. We chose the menu at 22€ and were pretty disappointed. According to us, the amount of food served was not enough. The starter and main dish were made using products having average flavors and there wasn’t many spice therefore we found it pretty bland. We didn’t get to choose the dessert, we got industrial ice cream (straciatella and cream flavor). Service was pretty slow and not so attentive, we had to ask several times to get water refills but both waiters outside were smiley and polite. We had lunch outside but the inside is charming as pictured.

What a great dinner we had last night. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. One of the best salads I ever had and both Cathy’s shrimp pasta and my braised beef were delicious. The wine list probably consists of over a 1000 bottles from all over Italy and Europe. We had a very reasonable priced dry rose. The meal was very reasonable priced compared to the states. Highly recommended 🍷🇮🇹

Despite not having a reservation we easily got a table for three by being there around opening hours. The atmosphere of the outdoor seating (as well as the indoor section) was calming, beautiful and the wait staff was very attentive. Appetiser: The salmon tartar on ricecakes were incredible. A fresh and tasty break from the classic Italian palette. Wonderfully presented. Main course: The lamb shoulder with potato was very good, the meat was juicy all though the portion was rather small. Paired with an appetiser it was enough though. The potato paste-y side was a tad strange in the texture but it did not get in the way of the rest of the dish. For dessert I had the tiramisu (listed on the menu as strawberry tiramisu although there was no strawberry in it). It was creamy and delicious, opting for a chocolate bottom rather than the classic lady finger base. All in all this was a wonderful meal. I do not drink, but the wine list was extensive and my mother who had a glass for each dish was very pleased with the staffs recommended wines.

Food is absolutely exquisite (for reasonable prices), staff is engaging and friendly and the ambiente makes for a great night. For a romantic dinner for two, we can recommend 100%!

Great Service. Amazing food! Slightly costly, but you get what you pay for. Food is out of the book. I found the house wine to be slightly costly at €15/bottle. We did ask for ice with the water but never got that, hence the 4 stars. The chef spiced up one of the dishes which was great. Beef dish was amazing and the "gnocchi del nero" was just great. The dish melts away in your mouth with an explosion of tastes covering your palete.

Nice bar, one of the few still open in town and until late. Drinks are OK but quality varies a lot based on drink, day and bartender unfortunately. Prices are average but verging on the high. The place usually hosts events and occasionally has international guests, check their Facebook for updates.

Such a nice find, amazing service, just a learning a little Italian will you get far here. They serve some of the the best red wine (and cocktails) and a very reasonable price. We found ourselves sat here for hours just starring at the green tuscan hills. 10/10 perfecto

We had a fantastic experience with La Crocetta Menchetti Montepulciano that helped us organize a pizza party for 40 people at Villa Apparita the day after our wedding. A couple of months in advance, we coordinated everything by email, and just a few days before the event I sent them the toppings and confirmed the pick-up day and time. Everything was perfectly arranged, just as planned. The pizzas were excellent — our guests absolutely loved them! Organizing for such a large group could have been stressful, but their support and reliability made it smooth and easy. I really appreciate their time, flexibility, and support, and I highly recommend them if you’re in the region and need a large amount of delicious pizzas for an event or gathering.

Without a doubt, this was the absolute best pizza I have ever had in my life! My family and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Arezzo. The pizza crust was sublime... the owner told me that the dough undergoes a 72-hour fermentation, which imparts so much complex flavor. The crust was thin and crispy on the outside with large air bubbles and a soft and tender crumb on the inside. The toppings were imaginative and delicious. Better than any pizza I have ever tasted in New York City, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, or Rome. Everyone in our family agreed that this pizza was phenomenal.

This place is the real deal. Terrific service with some English speaking staff. Exceptional authentic menu with simply delicious ingredients. Located behind Piazzale de Campo and away from the tourist establishments. Tira mi su was outstanding and made by the chef’s mom! Sooo incredibly nummy! Pricing also reasonable and below pricing in central square. Following our dinner we were treated to dessert wine and biscotti and a visit with chef right at our table! Well priced food that was the perfect start to our day. I had the Siena special Espresso which had a chocolate coating on the inner part of the glass. I truly recommend it to anyone visiting. Less that 10€ per person.

Love this place! They serve both tradition and modern coffee drinks. If they are not busy and you nicely, the servers are happy to make whatever you like the way that you like it. They made the perfect iced latte americano for me! The desert selection is also very good. The cocktails are DYNAMITE! The staff are very nice and speak many languages including Italian and English. We have been to Siena many times but only discovered Caffe 19zero3 on this trip. Not only is the food fabulous, the cocktails are wonderful. Ricardo is a wonderful bar tender and the rest of the staff are brilliant. After the first visit we kept going back and will be back on every visit. Whether it is for lunch, aperitivo, dinner, or a cocktail it is worth the visit.

Finally found an omelette in Italy! And fresh squeezed orange juice. The outdoor patio is great, and they remembered us and our order when we came back

We hired the White Dog to provide the open bar for our wedding in Poggibonsi.
