The place itself is very beautiful. I can only give three stars as the coacktails were not properly shaked (speed and durance) and the liquid was not strained (the shaking ice was served with the drink) From an environmental perspective this is good, but it is not done for any proper cocktail around the world.

Nice spot for drinks in Chania old town. Younger mostly Greek crowd with a few tourists sprinkled in but the crowd was mostly local I would say. We ordered Palomas and they were a bit too on the sweet side but if you’re into that then it was refreshing. Worth checking out while in Chania for sure.

The bar had a nice ambiance and was playing good music but the service was very bad. The waitress clearly didn't want to be there and was not at all helpful. I appreciate that people have good and bad days, but it's part of working in hospitality - don't take it out on the customers.

Beautiful and intimate spot, great live music and friendly staff but please advertise if there is a cost to to in for the music. There were no signs and no one said anything but we received a charge at the end of the night for it. Happy to pay (!) but please advertise this cost 🙏🏽😘

This is where the locals hang out. The bar starts in 1978 and I was told that this is one oldest in Crete. Excellent music and atmosphere. Managed to get to know the locals too. If you want to remain inside the bar, you have to show your fully vaccinated certificate and in my case I showed my NHS certificate on my phone. They used to have live music in the bar pre-Covid time. I hope live music could resume very soon! Lastly, just wish to add since this is a place locals frequent, please be respectful as you are just one of those tourists come and go (not in any demeaning way).

Cute gem in the alleys of the city. Not much of a hidden gem as it's almost always full, mostly by locals. Chill place with a good wine selection

Good spot for an after dinner drink, sometimes with live music when you might have to take a table in the street outside. Efficient staff so even if it’s busy you don’t wait long for a drink.

We had breakfast here. The food was excellent, and the drink I ordered was absolutely amazing — as was the sandwich in the photo. I asked twice for hot oat milk on the side of my espresso, but only on the third time did it finally arrive hot — by then, my coffee was already cold. We asked for a small change in one of the dishes, and they weren’t willing to accommodate, although they were flexible with the second dish. Overall, the place is cute. I recommend sitting inside if you don't want the "street atmosphere" (like garbage trucks and such). The interior design is stunning, everything is very aesthetic, and the food was truly delicious. The only downside: the prices are quite high for a breakfast.

We absolutely fell in love with this place! What a marvellous spot to start the day and kick off our holiday adventures. We were so lucky to be staying just around the corner from Ginger Concept. The atmosphere, décor, and service were all spot on, everything just felt right. The little shop next door, connected to the restaurant, is stunning as well, full of warm and stylish garments and accessories. It’s got that gallery-like charm that fits perfectly with the vibe of the café. Even during the busy morning rush, the staff were so kind, quick, and attentive. And the omelette... oh my goodness! Simply amazing. It’s rare to find a place that can make something so simple taste so perfect, real comfort food that makes you feel at home. The coffee was top-notch too, brewed to perfection every single time. We love our breakfasts, and finding a gem like this one is truly special. We’ll 100% be coming back next time we’re in Chania!

Amazing! The drink was great! Fresh ginger with lemon and the slight mint! Amazing mixed perfectly! Then my Appetizer was amazing!

We ate here and I had a food poisoning. I had the tuna tartare and it was obviously not fresh at all. 20mn into eating I had big red patches all over my arms and legs, my face was swollen and red, and my heartbeat went up drastically (I had a watch to see it). We asked the waiters if it was fresh and they said yes and that I had an allergy to the bell peppers. Obviously not, I’ve eaten bell peppers all my life and never had any problem. I’ve also never had any allergic reaction to any food before, including tuna tartares. So the problem was here. The staff also clearly didn’t care at all, saying it wasn’t their fault. If you care about your health I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

The city cafe to be. Stop for breakfast coffee and early drinks. The crowd is business and lounge. The music is chill vibes and the service as sweet as the deserts. The mid shopping break when you ares downtown.

Could unfortunately not make a simple drink. The aperol spritz tasted like mineral water with a hint of aperol, had no bubbles at all. Sent the first one back, second one was even worse. Was at least cheap.

Good place to grab a drink! You can either sit outside and watch a crowd from a bit of distance while enjoying the drinks or you can take it with you to enjoy sunset which is few metres away ☺️

It's absolutely amazing, they're very generous with amount of alcohol in the drinks (I had to ask to make mine less strong), the girls are so friendly and they have great customer service skills. The vibe in this place is unreal, so relaxing. I wish they did fries, it would go so lovely with their cocktails!

Very nice place near the Harbour. We sat there to have a few drinks. The staff is kind and the environment is great. The view is amazing. We didnt eat there, only took drinks so I cannot judge the food. But definitely recommend to pass by if you want some drinks with a good view, and also not too expensive!

Fantastic spot at the old harbour in Chania. The food was delicious, every course came with something special and it was a pleasure to discover the different flavors. We came as a big group (16 adults and 5 kids) and had a set menu. Everyone loved it — several said they would definitely return. Standout dishes were the eggplant with fermented fava beans, avocado taramasalata, duck breast fillet with beetroot risotto, and the sea bass in ladokolla. Desserts were also amazing. A fantastic dining experience by the water.

This restaurant is on the far eastern side of Chania Old Harbor, right on the Harbor. This is my husband’s boss’ favorite Chania restaurant. So, we had to try it. It was so good, we went here twice and got basically the same dishes because they were so amazing. Great views. Watch the bustling people and horses and harbor. Or there are 2 areas you can sit inside, one of which is a long cave. My husband says the stuffed zucchini flowers are one of the best things he’s ever tasted. I know the olives are a small dish but get them! They’re different, the oil is sweetened. The French Fries with a dip of mayo, sumac and lime are terrific. As is the Peinirli with Kimas (ground lamb, graviera cheese, pickled onion and sriracha aioli on a pizza dough. ) it appears anything you order here would be amazing. They also give a yummy little chocolate thing after the meal. They have local beers. Our server was Babis was also excellent.

Really good service and really nice waiters! The food was delicious and the price could be higher for that quality and taste. Perfect way to enjoy local cuisine with the view of sea for a reasonable price. Also many vegetarian options but I would recommend to ask if your preferred food is vegetarian to avoid misunderstandings (especially as a tourist, that doesn’t understand the language).

We ordered the steamed mussels, cherry tomato salad, octopus carpaccio, and grilled octopus for appetizers. Everything was absolutely delicious. I was completely obsessed with the carpaccio and the grilled octopus; honestly, I could eat them every single day if I could. 🐙✨ For mains, we had the buffalo ravioli (yes, buffalo meat, not cheese), the spaghetti with shrimps, and the Black Angus inside skirt. The ravioli was unique and definitely worth trying, the spaghetti was a perfect 10/10, and the Black Angus was cooked beautifully. Overall, such an amazing experience. Fantastic food, great variety, and dishes that really stood out. Highly recommend! 🍝🥩

One of the best dining experiences we've had in Chania! Every dish was delicious, and the fine dining atmosphere was perfect. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, just like everywhere on the island. A must-try when in Chania!

Brilliant Coffee. Brilliant cakes. And the most amazing view overlooking Chania and the bay. Friendly and helpful staff. Even when things are busy. You must be lucky though to get a seat outside. We were lucky :)

Koukouvaya is one of those spots in Chania you just can’t miss. The view from up there is absolutely breathtaking… You can see the whole city and the sea, and if you catch it at sunset, it’s pure magic. Of course, the highlight for me was the chocolate pie (the famous “Zoumero”). It’s rich, gooey, and so delicious, easily one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Pair it with some ice cream and you’re in heaven. The service was also really warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Even though the place can get busy, the staff makes you feel welcome and taken care of. All in all, it’s the perfect place to enjoy an amazing dessert with an unforgettable view.

To round up day 10 of our Round The World travels, we headed to Koukouvaya Cafe for desserts and probably one of the best spots for sunsets in Chania. Koukouvaya earned its name either from the amazing views (360 degrees views – like an owl) or that there were many owls in the vicinity in the olden days. Inside, you’ll find a beautiful collection of various types of owls as well. There are 2 levels of seatings at Koukouvaya, both have alfresco, outdoor seats which are popular. Once inside, the waiting staff told us that we could sit anywhere we want and as all of the outdoor seats were taken up upstairs, we headed downstairs and there were a couple of “second row” seats outdoors which we promptly took up. After browsing through the menu, we decided on having the signature Zoumero Chocolate Cake (6.7 euros) and also an iced latte (5.2 euro) but the waiter mistook our order and brought 2 iced latte instead. Turned out to be just nice because the Zoumero was so rich, the latte helped to balance the tastes... Gorgeous outside seating area (especially as day turns to night) and a lovely spot to stop for a drink. I didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on their food, but I was really impressed with their cocktail menu. I had the Fizzy Flower, which was excellent. Service was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Highly recommended!

We visited Boheme during our team retreat and it turned out to be a great choice. The whole group especially loved their cocktails - creative, well made, and a highlight of the evening. While the dinner menu had limited options, every dish we ordered was delicious and well presented. A stylish spot with great drinks and food worth trying.

We've stopped for a drink and cool-down on a hot summer day for memories from the next garden, which used to be Historical Museum of Chania some years ago. Nice garden friendly service, free cold water, good drinks, snaks along beer. Kitchen wasn't available at that time, however we didn't stop for eating, so it was totally OK with us.

This was my first day in Chania, and I had high expectations for this place based on one recommendation, unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. The breakfast was far from impressive, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. The service was average at best, but what really stood out was how slow everything was. While the ambiance is nice and the music was pleasant, it’s not enough to make up for the overall experience. The menu is very limited and basic, offering little variety. In the end, it felt like a place that’s more about hype than actual quality. I won’t be coming back.

Tastiest food of our whole trip. Extremely good service, good price to quality ratio. Im glad that the menu did not have way too many options. All 4 foods we got were amazing, delicious and reasonably priced. The potatoes also were really good and perfectly seasoned! Best food in our trip for sure!

Spectacular view. Atmosphere nice and stylish. The food though was not so waw. It didn’t have too much taste and the sizes were extremely small even for a fancy restaurant and the prices very high compared with other restaurants in Chania.

Impressive view, but....The service is awful. For the prices they have the expectations are on the same level. The waiters are not professionals. Have to wait eternity to have the drinks. More than that they forget de drinks multiple times.the food was good but also waited a lot to come and nothing from the house in the waiting time(some olives or bread with olive oil).

The view is unpaid, nice place for sunset. About the food I would say that (they try to be gourmet) but the tasty of the risotto with lemon foam for me war terrible. The worst that I ever tried. So food I would not recommend. Maybe a snack. And the prices are super high. (Because the try to be gourmet). So food from 20€. What is crazy price for chania, maybe if the food would be good, the price is not a problem. But it’s not the case here. But for a nice view and coffe, it Is fine. One time I also tried to get a drink alcohol free and they told me that the drink start from 17:00 o’clock. It was 16:45 hahahah. So I waited and at 17:00 o tried to order. But I got informed that the bartender was not there yet and I should order something else. I left at 18:30 and the bartender was still not there 😂. So I got nothing. What a sad for this kind of place.

I popped in mid afternoon it was really quiet. I had a great seat with a view overlooking Chania. I got the pineapple and aloe ice tea which was really refreshing and the lava cake as they only had a limited menu, the desert was a bit pricey but it was a really large portion and could easily have been shared.

Visited this place on our week trip to Crete. The atmosphere was very nice, and the sunset view was beautiful, however, anything regarding the restaurant food and the service was disappointing at times and atrocious in others. The food is rather expensive for the portion size. I expect to pay a premium at a restaurant of this caliber, yet the portion size was poor. We payed 25€ for this charcuterie board (See photos attached), which is decent for the price but it was expected that it would contain some larger variety of items, like olives, but alas it was as simple as a charcuterie board can be. However, the most atrocious part of the experience was the service. I have never witnessed such bad service in a restaurant. We asked 4 different waiters, a total of 6 times for the spirit menu, waiting for almost 45 minutes after initially sitting down to finally get the list of spirits. PLEASE NOTE, that the restaurant books the table for 2 hours, after which you will probably be asked to vacate the table (We never experienced this and we doubt anyone will as the delays are service side, not client side but nonetheless, we were warned when we sat down). Our issue was that the service is INCREDIBLY SLOW. As exhibited by the spirit menu issue, anything that is ordered (apart from the initial drinks) will arrive around 30-45 minutes after the fact. This suffocates the dining experience as you will fail to enjoy a serene meal due to the massive delays in service, a factor which ultimately led us to review this place a 2/5.

The staff are so unbelievably rude, acting like they don’t want you there. We said to the hostess that we wanted to have a drink whilst we decided on what to eat… I had to ask the staff three times to order our drinks whilst the ladies that I asked continued to stand there and have a conversation. Eventually a waiter came over and just said “yeah…”. We ordered our drinks with little Mr Attitude and at the end he said “are you not eating because this is how it works here, we give you a table inside if you just want drinks” (The restaurant was empty, two tables were occupied). We said that we were going to decide whilst having a drink and he continued being so rude saying “thats not how it works here”, despite the hostess saying it was ok. Anyway… we got up at left after his attitude was so poor, I have never experienced someone being so rude… it seems that the view is the only thing going for this place. Very stuck up staff who act like they don’t want you there. I would not recommend. Happy hols

Tried this place because it had great reviews. I got the seafood linguine. I felt like the noodles were too dry - I would’ve liked more sauce with it. The seafood was okay. I have a limited review of the restaurant because I only ordered for delivery. I probably didn’t order one of their best dishes or maybe got an off night… but I’m sure their food would have been good had I gone another time and ordered another dish.

Very good brunch experience with good value for money. • Food: Mixed. We had the avocado toast (3.5 stars), porridge (5), scrambled eggs (4), and sweet pancakes (1). • Service: Great, very attentive. • Location: near the church, very quiet during brunch hours (sit near the fans as the place is empty in the morning). Good choice if you want to avoid the crowds. It seems to be a very nice place for nighttime.

A wonderful breakfast right in the heart of the monastery and old city. Listening to live music all throughout the day. There is currently an accordion player. The avocado toast with eggs, and the salmon eggs Benedict were transporting. The service was friendly and unassuming. They even brought out a special delicious chocolate treat for my 41st birthday. Love this place!

We came here and the Premium Cretan breakfast was incredible! Chrysa was our server. She was friendly and explained all of the “goodies” on our sumptuous lazy susan and how to enjoy these Cretan specialities!

Very good Irish bar! Fresh Guinness, of course! And not only that, it's also a great company and lots of fun! It has a great atmosphere, a lot of different drinks and cocktails, and an awesome location! This is the place where you always want to return again and again!

Great Irish pub! You’ve got Carl, the legend, and his wife running the bar — both always on it. Felt extremely welcome, and they’ve got this way of mixing the island’s laid-back atmosphere with Irish charm. As an Irish person I felt it hit the mark and more. Sang, drank, met new friends here. Can’t recommend it enough.

Such a brilliant find! The cocktails are fantastic, and the service couldn’t have been friendlier. I ordered a mojito and loved the extra touch of watching the owner pick fresh mint straight from the planter where he grows his herbs, it made the drink taste even better. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, with great music, and to top it off, the resident cat Guinness wanders over to keep you company. A really unique and welcoming spot definitely worth a visit!

If I could give 10 stars, I would've done it. This was the only place we found that played tennis on the TV. The owner specifically found it for us and we watched while drinking very fresh draft beer. He was really really friendly and cared for his customers. On top of that, if you can play a musical instrument, you can grab on of the instruments that are in the bar.

Ka Mon Irish Pub is hands-down the best bar in Chania! Karl & Monica are absolute legends, they make everyone feel welcome, whether you’re a local or just passing through. The Guinness is a meal & a dessert all by itself, so that's the food covered. Cocktails are spot on & the music keeps the place buzzing. No food served but plenty nearby & they’re happy for you to bring some in. If you want good craic in Crete, this is the place.

The establishment pours a very good pint of Guinness. The beer was at an acceptable temperature, chilly but not cold. Staff was friendly. There is seating inside and outside.

Lovely shady spot for lunch - really cute inside, the atmosphere and service is great!! The homemade pesto toasted bread was delicious and fresh! Would recommend as a stop to refresh :)

Nice funky Bar in Chania with a wide range of craft beers. They have both Greek and imported beers so you really are spoilt with choice. The vibe was really relaxed with good music playing in the background. Beers could have been a bit colder but that could be me being fussy

Popped into this bar today for a beer on our wander around Chania Town - fantastic selection of Greek beers and a lovely boho decor. Great service and a very helpful lady who advised on the beers for us - music was great and 70s sounds mainly on vinyl - fantastic and will defo be back.

Stumbled across this place while exploring Chania and loved the descriptions in the menu and the artistic decoration. Turned out the owner was a great guy, very friendly and good fun and the food was superb. He couldn't do enough for us despite being super busy. A genuine highlight and a real hidden gem.

Sinagogi cocktail bar. Where to begin. To begin with, why do you go to a place that serves cocktail, well you go to have a drink, and not only a drink, a cocktail that is properly created and thought through. I always order something classic to see if that can be managed and something of their own creation. In this regard sinagogi delivered. We started with a Manhatten and their own, the drunk parrot. Both wonderful, tasteful and with their own little touch. Wonderful. Sinagogi is a small(quite large) cocktail bar in Chania, secretly hidden away from all the busy streets. Here Chania hides away a true gem, This is an escape bubble from the bustling streets and a place a every person who likes a cocktail or a glass of wine should come and visit. The place in itself is old ruins with a Yasmin flower roof. With cozy atmospheric lighting and a quiet yet feel good playlist, this place gives away and ambiance of passion for the cocktail industry and craft while still keeping with the local culture, and a place were you just feel comfortable and home. This is a place I will always remember and a place that is whole heartetly recommended.

We have stumbled upon this gem during our trip in Chania. They have done an amazing job keeping the ruins of an old sinagogue and transforming it into something really special. The atmosphere is wonderful, cozy and intimate. When you enter you are being welcomed by the Jasmine flowers that grow inside. All your senses are being spoiled, the service is good, the music is good. We have come here twice, usually quite early (around 20.30) and had the place for ourselves. It gets a bit more crowded later and the music gets louder, so if you want to enjoy a good cocktail and intimate atmosphere, come early.

One of the best cocktail bars on the island of Crete and in Chania. The vibe is positive, the atmosphere is great, the music is fun. All the waiters and bartenders are friendly. It would be a shame to leave Chania without stopping here.

Synagogue Bar is one of the best spots in Rethymno — beautifully designed, with a warm, elegant atmosphere that feels both lively and sophisticated. The cocktails are top-notch, the service is excellent, and the crowd is great — a mix of locals and travelers who all seem to be enjoying themselves. It’s the perfect place for any occasion, whether you want a casual drink or a night out with friends. Beyond the great experience, I really appreciated the meaning behind the name. “Synagogue” in Greek refers to a synagogue, and the bar is located in the heart of the old Jewish quarter. Naming it this way feels like a thoughtful tribute to the area’s Jewish heritage and to the community that once lived here before World War II. It adds depth and a sense of respect to an already exceptional place. Absolutely a must-visit when in the area.

Avalon Pub in Chania is a must-visit spot. The drinks are top-notch, with a great selection of cocktails and local spirits. The view is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset, perfect for relaxing with friends or a date. The service is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The music wasn't rock. They played 1980-1990 pop music here. There were signs in many places saying no smoking, but the staff smoked themselves. The only good thing is the view.

It's a small rock bar with medieval decoration and a mediocre sound system. I went in alone, after catching the sound of Twisted Sister's We're not gonna take it, and sat at the bar stool to have a beer. The waitress made a rude grimace as I was entering and another one when I left. I don't think that's right. Politeness is necessary.

A nice pub, full of young people, with a good atmosphere, a wonderful selection of rock music and great local beers. If, like me, you have never tried then go for it, ask the barman a reccomendation based on your tastes. I was amazed, but apparently there is a tradition of brewery in Crete. Did you know? It's refreshing to taste different beers that are not Mythos, Alpha or Fix. If you are in Chania go hang out there and try some.

We were enjoying an amazing night in Old Town Chania … a couple of restaurants and bars where the service and the staff were incredible. I wanted to go here based on reviews and it looked like a vibe. Place was empty, which was fine. But the bartender was rude and dismissive and treated us like an inconvenience. So unimpressed.

Cool little bar in the centre of town. Plays alternative music. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Stays open until very late. The spend doesn’t apply to any food menu, we just drank a lot of hooch and racked up a big bill.

We went to this bar once and were treated with surprising rudeness by the host. The attitude was cold, unwelcoming, and completely unprofessional. First time in Crete, today is my birthday and me and friend thought this looked like a nice club. The bouncer guy at the entrance stopped us saying he can't let us in for 40 minutes. We went upstairs and saw at least 10 people leaving and he let 13 people in. We went down again he turned us away again saying we have to have reservations. However he didn't check any of those people just let them in. We said its our first time in Crete and it's my birthday. He was just so unwelcoming, rude, and with poor customer service. I would not recommend you to visit this place. Worst birthday ever. We just wanted a few drinks....Thanks guys. I little kindness wouldn't hurt....

This place has to be racist. They seated us in the back of the bar away from the rest of the crowd which was okay until we received more poor treatment. We got up to go to the bathroom and then walked by the bar once as many people were standing and chatting by the bar and we wanted to be in the crowd. We found an empty standing table in the crowd so we went to stand and then immediately were approached by someone who works there. We were the only POC that entered that standing area and the only people she seemed to have a problem with as many others were doing what we were doing with no issues. She said we couldn’t stand there and that we were disturbing the employees. Keep in mind we walked by the bar once and the way she asked us to move was incredibly rude. It was all around weird vibes and not worth it at all. This place is great for locals but would not recommend as a tourist. The drinks and dj were good.

This place was both racist and a total scam. The so-called cocktails were nothing more than fruit juice, with almost no alcohol in them. I had five drinks and was stopped at a police check — my blood alcohol level was only 0.2‰, less than from a single beer. We paid €50-60 per person, and it was the most pathetic cocktail experience of my life. Racist and fraudulent establishment.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! If you are a tourist and not a regular local you will not be treated well. Went with my wife and were shown to a table in the corner. Nobody came to take an order and we were ignored at every attempt. Went up to the bar, 2 girls before me ordered drinks, then when I went to order I was told no, this is not possible and made to sit back down. They refused to serve us and were just very rude. Made to feel very unwelcome and left shortly after. A bad experience

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious — fresh, flavorful. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Every dish had that perfect balance between comfort and creativity. The grilled octopus was incredibly tasty and just melted in the mouth. The lamb was so tender and full of flavor, and the tzatziki — unlike anything I’ve had before — fresh, creamy, and delicious. Everything was so good I couldn’t leave a single bite. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent service and very interesting, delicious food! I highly recommend visiting if you are in Chania, Crete. The restaurant is located on a cozy little street with lights and passers-by, giving it a very authentic and warm atmosphere. The food was outstanding – I recommend trying the cheese pie in thin pastry drizzled with honey, a typical Greek specialty and absolutely delicious. We also tried a vegan chickpea curry dish – even if you’re not vegan, it’s definitely worth tasting. The potatoes were prepared in a very creative way – tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The wine recommended by the restaurant was also excellent and really enjoyable. Definitely a 5-star experience – it’s well deserved!

If you visit Chania, Colombo is the obligatory place to come. A real state of cuisine art, everything is prepared with outstanding vision. The best reproduction of Tabbouleh I have ever taste with their own style. You can try everything and will not be disappointed. The staff is very polite and compliant.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been in my life. We tried 4-5 appetizers and I cannot decide which one was better. For the main course I had a catch of the day. Really fresh and perfectly grilled sea bream. The portions were big and so delicious! Service is kind and smiling and technically on a very high level, fulfilling all the needs. Just a perfect evening!!! It was totally worth to reserve the table! Our dishes were all on point, above all the octopus🐙 A recommendation is the House-Wine (white) which is very delicious. Unique flavors and something for everyone - vegetarians and meat eaters a like. The beetroot salad was one of the most delicious dishes I’ve eaten in Greece. We also enjoyed the moussaka and the curried chickpeas, the the later was a bit heavy on the salt. Good wine and beer selection, as well as blues tunes over speakers. Both dining in the alley and an indoor dining room. We thought we would need reservations but we went by at 7:15 and they got us a table at 8. We’d come back if in Chania longer. Well done Columbo! Ps little on the house cream pies were a perfect ending.

I still think about the octopus i ate there. Normally i am not big fan of octopus because of texture but it was not the case. I didnt have reservation but luckily got table. The service was excellent.

Excellent food, but frankly too pricey. Value is not there in our opinion. We ate at the best restaurants in each area we visited during our tour of Greece. This was the most expensive. Yes, the food was amazing, but we ate better elsewhere and paid less. It’s probably fine, given the amazing setting and location, but just know that it’s more money than it should be. We ordered the Pork Belly (exceptional), Pesto pasta (exceptional), 2x Uruguay Angus Steak (good, but that’s it, would not order again), sparkling moscato, and local rose. The view from our table was wonderful, but it’s loud from the passersby and dogs wandering and barking. Good one-time experience but we will not return. I highly recommend a reservation. We didn’t have one but went early enough and got lucky. While we were sitting we watched several people get turned away because the restaurant was full. Service was mostly good but we waited a bit to order, get drinks, and get break, unlike other amazing places that had flawless service.

We booked here well in advance based on a recommendation. We knew it would be pricy, but also a very memorable experience. The service was wonderful - very attentive (I wish I could remember the waiters name) and the food exceptional. We enjoyed watching the sunset as we ate. Definitely book ahead of time to get a good table at the roof top area.

Had dinner on the balcony overlooking the harbour. With the sun going down what a stunning vista. The young waiters were exceptional, very polite and helpful. Had the vast bean puree and taramas with fresh bread fir starters. It was all wonderful. Main course was a rib eye with greek fries and pepper sauce. Cooked perfectly. Really nice food. Dessert for us to share was chocolate mousse on a crispy base with caramel, vanilla bean ice ream and hot chocolate sauce. It didn't last long. All in all a fabulous place to eat. Don't come to Chania without a visit here.

Our favorite meal in Chania. We dinned on the rooftop for sunset and the view, service and food were amazing. Highly recommend getting reservations here. So excited I forgot to take pictures of all our choices, the prosciutto wrapped goat cheese was amazing. For dinner we had the cod and the beef. For dessert the dulcey tart was to die for.

Definitely arrived there for the views but as well very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cuisine. Very romantic atmosphere with music on the background that makes you feel super relaxed. Salmon pave and lamb shank were outstanding, as well as, the dark chocolate dessert.

We booked for the rooftop (which is essential, many days in advance) at 22:00 and the view was spectacular - though of course would have been more picturesque on a clear day or at sunset. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated with menus which seemed to differ slightly from what was available online. Our party of four went straight for mains given the time of day - and food was delivered promptly. I had the steak with languistines which was delicious and well-cooked - and the others each had a pasta dish which they said was fresh and yummy, though portion sizes were on the smaller side for the price. Service from the wine waiter was efficient also, though drinks did not arrive in advance of our bread which was disappointing. The bread course was pleasant though nothing to write home about. The wine when it arrived was very good. The atmosphere on the rooftop is worth paying for. Had we eaten the same floor on the ground or any other levels I'm not sure I'd have felt the same, compared to the fantastic food you can get in most places around the harbour. For the service, vibes, and atmosphere though - I'll be back!

Let them choose the best wines to accompany your courses. They are generous with allowing tastings to find a wine that best suits your palate. I look forward to more meals here in the future! We spent 117€ for two which included an appetizer and dessert to share, two entrees, two glasses of wine each, and one espresso. Entrees alone are generally 20-35€ each. They also asked if we had any food allergies, which I don’t recall ever being asked about on Crete before—a nice consideration.

One of the best meals of my LIFE. The owners are kind, fun, and welcoming - we had a wonderful time. And every dish was SO good!!! We loved it so much we tried to go again before we left Chania and sadly had to cancel but we hope to come back to Chania to eat here again one day!!!

We had the most amazing wonderful dinner here the other night. The terrace was gorgeous and great for watching the sunset. The food was absolutely fantastic - catering for all vegetarians, pescatarians and meat eaters. Lovely place at the harbor of Chania. The menu has loads of choices. We first had brunch which was nice for the price. We decidede to come back since they seemed a bit less of a tourist trap compared to other restaurants over there. It was very nice, with very nice staff. Nobody was pushy in front trying to get us in which we really liked. We had to wait a bit for sushi but it wasn't unreasonably long. There was some really nice ambient music that wasn't too loud at all. We had the bass and some sushi. It was all really tasty. We also had some cocktails which were great too. Ended up spending about 60€ for two. Had a lovely view of the sea, too.

Deck restaurant made my vacation in Chania special and memorable. All of the restos around are jampacked with Tourists and i am starving after a whole day of touring Balos and other Beaches, Deck managed to prepare a special table for me which is really kind of them. Staff were the friendliest and accommodating. I had the Best chocolate cake and seafood pasta here. I will never forget this Restaurant Cafe. I was treated like a Queen when i was there. I will keep coming back to Chania because of this Restaurant and Staff. We had a terrible experience. We were a group of 9 and decided to eat there. 15:00 - We arrived and asked if it was possible to merge tables so the whole group could sit together. This was sorted quickly, and we were seated and given the menu. 15:20 - The waiter took our orders: 3x Burgers, 2x Chicken Filets, 2x Chicken Gyros, 1x Pork Gyros, 1x Greek Salad, and 1x Onion Rings. 15:40 - The waiter returned and informed us there was a big problem—they had run out of potatoes and couldn’t serve fries or wedges. We agreed to substitute fries with pita bread, but there was no mention of wedges. 16:20 - After an hour of waiting, the food started arriving. The Chicken Gyros came first; the meat was lukewarm, and the only good thing on the plate was the Greek yoghurt. Five minutes later, the Chicken Filets and Salad were served—these were warmer. A couple of minutes after that, they served the Pork Gyros, which again had lukewarm meat. Interestingly, the portion of Pork Gyros was much larger than the Chicken Gyros. After another 5 minutes, they brought out the 3 Burgers. They had substituted the wedges with crisps. The waiter serving us was very polite and apologetic, but beyond that, the service was poor. My mum went to pay and asked for a discount, as we felt the substitutions weren’t enough compensation, especially after waiting an hour for such simple food. After a heated argument between the waiter and someone behind the bar, they agreed to reduce our bill from €120 to €100. I do not recommend eating here if you have a large group. They should have told us from the beginning that they couldn’t handle larger groups.

Not a good experience. We saw our waiter came out from the toilet without washing he’s hands. They have their soda stacked right next to the toilets 🤢 We both ordered ‘Cesar salad’. The one had 10 pieces of chicken, and the other one had 3. The bacon was heated in a microwave and was chewy. Not a Cesar salad when you soak it in tarragon sauce. Really disappointing.

Very nice bar. We visited this place first time in 2022 and took some crazy strong cocktails! This time we were more careful and made sure we understand/read the menu! The bar also offers shisha but we never took one. Cocktails are affordable, between €8-€12 (signature drinks or some crazy combinations are priced higher). Drinks are extremely tasty, they're lucky to have such a professional and skilled barman. Perfect spot for groups of friends. A++

We sat and a bored waiter just picked up the empty glasses from our table from the previous customers. We are waiting for a menu or to place an order. In vain. Suddenly he comes out and he goes to take an order from two other tables, one of which came after us. Some Greek customers while we looked foreigners. We were thinking that he was going to take an order from us too, who were there before. We were waiting 10 more minutes. In vain. He ghosted us. We left. They obviously don't want foreign customers. I am actually Greek and a tour operator.

We came with friends here, we had a waiter with glasses and a beard, as we were hesitating on what to orde, he said « Oh my god » to us to show he was annoyed, also I asked for pancakes and I’m pretty sure he just didn’t want to do it so he dissuated me by saying I’d be waiting 40 minutes, FOR PANCAKES ?????? In addition he’s smoking his IQOS in the middle of the bar. It is also really expensive and the glasses were not clean, so in term of hygiene I recommend a hygiene check in addition to a staff review. In conclusion apart from the almost confortable seats and the drinks that were okay, I highly unrecommend this place unless you are desperate.

Great house music, good drinks at a reasonable price and beautiful venue. More of a mature crowd (30+) and quick service.

Really good atmosphere, good house vibe, we went on a Sunday evening so it was chill but I suppose it gets busier on the weekends. Didn’t like their cocktails too much, were too sweet in my opinion. But! The classic cocktails, Negroni and Whisky Sour were so well made.

This place was recommended to us by friends, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We were poorly received, left at a table without chairs and with no explanation on how the service worked (whether there was table service or if we had to order at the bar). It took quite a while before anyone came to assist us. The drinks looked interesting on the menu, but when they arrived, they were a complete disappointment. If the idea is to be a trendy and modern bar, the least they could do is invest in decent drinks. It’s unacceptable to pay a high price for a cocktail that’s served in a bottle with no creativity or quality. I do not recommend this place and will not be coming back. If I could, I would give zero stars.

That's one of the best places to have a drink in Chania. We visited last week, late night, and I had an House Exotic Ginger drink, decent choice. Music is dance, staff are ok. The inner open-air yard gives a summer atmosphere to the place. Could be hard to find a spot at some times, I think they'll tell you at the door and they won't let you in

Loved drinking at Karolos. They have a very special menu, yet they have all ingredients to make any classic cocktail. Staff is nice and very servicable - sorting any issues, guiding towards other locations and Taking your needs into account. Dimitra served us well and we loved the experience. The feeling when sitting in the courtyard is AMAZING.

The manager is very unpolite and rude. It was a highly recommended place but I am never going back because of the manager’s attitude. Instead of explaining me the table booking situation he just asked me to unseat from a table without any explanation, although his colleague told me that I could take a seat at the table. He completely ruined my and my friends’ mood.

Very good service! We were picked up at the airport nice and early, didn't have to wait at all. Nice man carried my bags and led us to the van. He also gave us cold water bottles and made sure we were comfortable. Nice and chatty driver, who also gave us advice for trips. Got us safely to our hotel. Great value for money!

This cab service we used in Crete was excellent from start to finish. It was reliable, and the cars were always very clean, which made every journey comfortable and stress-free. The drivers were absolutely wonderful—friendly, approachable, and genuinely funny, making our travels around the island an enjoyable experience. They were also very helpful, assisting us with our luggage without hesitation and offering some fantastic recommendations on places to visit, which added a lot of value to our trip. The level of patience shown by the drivers was impressive; they were never in a rush and made sure we were comfortable and ready before setting off. They were always punctual, arriving exactly at the agreed pick-up times, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. Their professionalism, combined with their friendliness and local knowledge, really made a difference to our holiday. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service provided. The comfort, friendliness, and reliability of this cab company made getting around Crete much easier and more enjoyable. They provided taxis to and from Chania airport. The service was excellent, drivers were both knowledgeable and helpful. The cars were comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great service. There was a close follow-up (over whatsapp) to make sure we find our drivers in the airport. Communication was great. Drivers were professional. Even if we arrived late by 2 hours our driver did wait for us.

I used CLT for transfer from Chania Airport and back, plus a custom trip to Elafonisi for 6 people. Great experience, quick and easy contact via email in English, professional drivers and always on time. They even adjusted to our 1 hour flight delay. Go for it.

Absolutely loved this bar - so tourist friendly, and some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. We could give our amazing bartender Jordan a vibe and he’d custom make an incredible cocktail every time!! And the karaoke was so much fun! Be sure to turn up after 11pm for a good amount of company, but any time before then if you get stage fright :)

Amazing Karaoke! We were a group of 5 tourists from London young 20s both guys and girls... perfect vibe for pre-clubbing. Easy to use song submission system with QR codes. Friendly DJ and feels safe (no creeps etc). Special shout out to the bartender/mixologist who made us cocktails based purely off a couple-words on our preferences. 10/10 recommend for everyone

The service from the staff was amazing, we were greeted warmly every time we arrived - on occasion we were given free drinks towards the end of the night! The actual karaoke set up is one of the best I've ever seen, with multiple pa speakers, great microphones and good monitoring on stage so you can hear yourself butchering your favourite songs. Overall one of the best karaokes myself and my group have been too - don't miss this spot during your trip to chania old town if you're a fan of karaoke!

Fun karaoke bar on a Saturday night ! Place lit up right after midnight with good drinks and to participate in the karaoke you would ofcourse have a minimum spend. Really fun stage and good microphones, great staff and good choice for a laugh or two (or seven) with friends !

Very high quality drinks with nice bartenders who gave good recommendations! During COVID they offer drinks to go but you can also sit down at a few tables outside by the street. I can really recommend this place! Best cocktails we had on Crete so far.

Just a great experience overall. The place is great, good 2000´s music, everybody can dance to it. We had a blast in there. The servers are great, espacially one (i don't have his name) but he was just an incredible vibe all night long and he helped us to find a taxi back home. The entry is 10€ with a free drink. I recommend, the place to have a great party with your friends

We had a absolutly wonderfull evening in The Klik bar. At the entrance we met a very nice woman Leah. She explained everything no trouble and we had a nice talk with her. Then we went upstairs. We met Manos and Anastasia The bartenders. Thee were so friendly and welcoming. During the whole evening they worked hard but stayed friendly and always had time for a talk. I visited this club twice, and honestly I had a good time. People working there are super friendly! Prices are very fair. At the entrance you pay 10 euros but you can consume one drink of your choice! The Dj is nice but , I noticed on the 2nd day he was basically repeating the same music..so if you go there more than once you will know the whole playlist..:D Anyway, I had a fun time here :)

This is the best nightclub in all of Chania! We came here every night on our holiday the bar staff are just amazing and so so friendly, they don’t care if you embarrass yourself on the pole! Great bar Overall staff are friendly bouncers aren't unfriendly per se Just quiet serious. Music is nice, it's fun to dance too, the overall atmosphere is nice. Me and my friends (2 x 18 males me 18 w and my other friend 18 w) really did enjoy going here, the only problem we had was that there was an older dude (maybe like I'm his 60s) that came into the club and before he entered he stopped and talked to us briefly and just before leaving he sexually harassed my friend (18 male) where he grabbed his parts and then just walked away. At first my friend didn't say it so anything because he was so shocked but then he told us and he went through stages and waves of emotions from Anger confusion sadness and regret. The problem is that when we addressed this to the bouncers they firstly knew exactly who we were talking about (which makes you wonder what else this grandpa has done) and they just told us "Its okaaay" in a very chilled tone as if what had happened was nothing. He insisted they do something and they went and spoke to him but ultimately they left him in the club because he's "a friend of the owner" and " there's nothing they can do". Super super disappointed. My friend being a guy has obviously never experienced this before and it really broke him for a bit and I think he'll forever be traumatized by this. Yes as a woman your not as surprised when this happens but as a guy you basically think its never going to happen to you. Extremely poor way of handing a situation.

What a great discovery! We found it by "luck" and we tried some of the amazing cocktails. The best we have ever tried so far!!! Beautiful ambiance, friendly hosts, an adorable doogie (dog: Luisa) and delicious cocktails! We went on a Monday in the early evening, but would love to visit again when they have live music. The place looks super lovely! We had a really good old fashioned, a gin based drink with figs called Fig..gin, and another drink called Slay the Dragon. Love that some of their drinks come with fun-looking sweet gummies in them.

Melodica Cafe-Bar in Chania is a cozy, vine-covered gem with great vibes and friendly staff. I had a refreshing ginger beer and a local Magissa beer—both excellent. Perfect spot to relax away from the tourist crowds. Don’t miss it if you're in town!

Absolutely amazing! Giorgio is an amazing host who let us have my wife’s 50th birthday party at Melodica the day after our wedding and while all our friends were in Chania. Relaxed vibes, dancing, delicious organic wine, amazing cocktails. Giorgio and his colleagues went above and beyond to help us and we are so grateful. We will be back to remember our happy memories every time we are back in Chania.

There were many older people (30+) We texted on Insta to make sure we can make a reservation but when we arrived the club was almost empty. I would recommend going there at/after 2am because that was the time when more people came. Unfortunately the music were remixed hits and unknown party songs so you couldnt sing along that much. Drinks were small with a lot of ice

Awful place. First red flag was the closed door at the gate. We should’ve turned away considering it cost 12 euros each for entry. Once we got in, atmosphere was awful. The most bizzare music was playing and there were 4 people in the whole place. At 1am on a Friday. Absolutely shocking

Sunday night and there was fantastic slow live music, what a fantastic surprise in a random alley in Chania.

This is a very special place in greece you feel when you arrive. Starts with two very welcoming girls that manage this classy and very clean restaurant in perfection. If you search for an alternative to classic taverna food, get here some international dishes with fresh crete ingredients. We had avocado toast, pita with halloumi, fried and scrambled eggs, bread, coke (served with ice and lime in the glass) and as dessert homemade bananabread and applepie with one of the best iced cappucinos with oatmilk weve ever had. Thanks for all, we hope to come back. ;)

Wonderful restaurant serving great quality food and drinks - I had the vegetarian pesto pasta, which was delicious. I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant, as it was very relaxed and you could have a conversation without having to raise your voice. Staff were lovely, and service was great. Highly recommended.

We had a great time in this delicious place! We ordered Greek yogurt, pancakes, banana bread and coffee. Each of them was fresh and very tasteful. On top of that, the owner was really nice and smiling.

We had a fantastic time at Anissa in Chania! Stopped by for drinks and loved the Smokey Paloma (my favorite), the best mojito I've had in a while, and my girlfriend raved about her margarita. Inspired by another table, we tried the shrimp pasta, bursting with flavor and delicious! Only note: the pasta could've been a touch more al dente, but the flavors were spot on. Highly recommend!

Hard to go wrong with an açaí bowl with a view! The home made granola was SO delicious. I would have liked more granola and for it to be on top instead of on the bottom but excellent nonetheless. Service was good just not as warm and friendly as some of the other restaurants in the area.

Price was higher than was presented in a drink list. And the explanation was that they have a different price list for drinks during the summer! Ok, we are in July so why not present the correct list or at least to mention what the correct price is when receiving the order. Left a bad taste abd it is not about the small amount of money but the feeling that they did it in purpose to rob tourists.. will not return.

The food and service were absolutely amazing, we went in the early evening when it was even quieter. Neat and clean place (wouldn't believe it's open 19 hours a day). Kids portions were big and tasty, gluten free pizza was better than usual in restaurants / frozen bases. The burger was also well made and a large portion.

One of the best restaurants in the Platanias! Service and food were both really good, and also the venue is very modern! They also have really flexible attitude, we needed some protein for the Mangosalad, and they just added some chicken in the salad! Burgers were also very delicious and portions were big!

We ate during late noon in August, so not many people ate at that time. Ordered chicken gyros, chicken Souvlaki and pork ribs. The service was kind and excellent and fast enough, and the chicken dishes were excellent. The fries was one of the best. Unfortunately, the ribs didn't meet the high standard. Great place to eat in, just don't order the ribs.

Half of our group attended to reserve a table, we have certain dietary restrictions that could not be met so decided to leave (before we ordered anything). We were at the table no longer than 2 minutes The waiter/host was very rude and told us “you can’t leave if you have already sat down” as we left he said in a very sarcastic way “very clever, good luck”, he stared at us until we were out of sight… Most of us have customer service background and were shocked at the reaction especially due to the reason being dietary restrictions??

Went here for lunch one day. Ended up having the daily dish which was a green salad and a chicken souvlaki to the price of 12€. The deal itself was nice, but looking at the prices in the menu the regular dishes was expensive. It tasted ok, but you could get better souvlakis for a cheaper price elsewhere, don’t think its worth paying full price. It’s also located underneath some trees where grasshoppers can make a lot of noise on top of the main road.

Very tasty burger, some of the best in the area! Polite staff, the place is also very clean and modern. Recommended!

We visited Red Havana Premium with friends and had a great time. The place is kids-friendly, which made it easy for everyone to relax. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was attentive. You do pay for the seat, but it’s redeemable and can be used for food and drinks, which is a nice touch. The beach is beautiful, making it a great spot to spend the day. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we’d be happy to visit again

I don’t know there are less than 5 stars for this club. We came in without a reservation and got a pool cabana quickly for only 120e minimum consumption. The staff was super nice. Shisha extremely good and the service was a 10/10. Dimitris and Diana helped us with everything and we had a full day of full. I can totally recommend it.

This place is just amazing! The food, the drink, the atmosphere, but above everything else for me, it was the friendliness of the owner Giorgos and the staff! We stumbled on the cafe by pure coincidence and it was the best place we visited. We ended up grabbing a coffee in the morning, a lunch around noon and some drinks in the evening watching the euro 2024 (Germany vs Scotland). I will make sure to bring a football jersey from my home town as a gift on my next visit in Crete! I strongly recommend visiting this place! 10/10

So, there are those high end, known and less known, cocktail bars in the world (or other local) capitals you've heard about and probably went there, perhaps even numerous times and you thought that was it, all fine, and then you come in to Agios Bar. So what's all about? Very simple: genuine people, enjoying creating authentic -the way you like it- cocktails in a cozy, feel good assembled bar under impactful and surprisingly eclectic music genres creating real(ly) memorable experiences. Am I missing anything? The relaxed vibe and natural beauty of Paleochora are on a doorstep of this little Agios Paradise.

This bar is a must, especially if you're into cocktails - the bartender is simply an alchemist! We had Bamboo, Trees of life, Mandrill (my favourite), and some delicious fruity shots. Loved the sustainable metallic straws as well! Coffee is good too, and the mixed fruit juice is a proper breakfast by itself.

An hidden gem. We were in Paliocoras for a day and we set at this bar mostly for the colourful vibe of the place. We found what probably is the best cocktail bar in Crete. The cocktails and the study behind them are incredible! I loved the idea to use local flavours like honey and raki. The attention to the details in the menu, with the story of each cocktail, it really shows the passion and professionalism behind the bar. Everyone was super nice and experienced in their job. They know how to transmit their passion. We had to head back home, otherwise we would have easily spent the night trying all the cocktails. Keep it up! We hope to come back one day.

This is the bar to be in Paleochora! It is located in the heart of the town. While you watch people or have a nice conversation you enjoy the best drinks in town and chat with Giorgos the barman! Mayebe the prices might be a bit more than in other bars but the ambience, service and quality of the drinks are worth it! My wifes favorite drink is the "Green bubble Gin", you have to try it! I usually had a Negron, an Ouzo with Ice (Ouzo ton pagaton) or a "megali Mamos" 👌

Much more than a "night life" institution in Paleochora. It's an all day spot but it really comes to life in the evening. The cocktails are simply superb. Try the challenging See-through Margarita (with seaweed from Gramvousa) or the middle-of-the-road Twisted Spicy Mango (based on gin). The Chiquita (with various rums) is another fruity choice. A must!

Fresh sandwich which was really tasty and a good portion size too. Simple menu with fair prices and a nicely positioned bar to watch the world go by. The chairs were uncomfortable otherwise 5 star.

The very best place on Crete. Perfect cocktails, perfect beer, perfect ice cream, perfect people! We just love it. Now you can also have alcohol-free cocktails. Very nice for children and people who don't want always to drink alcohol. I have tried them and they are very very good! Try the Mojito, I promise you will be surprised. We have come here almost every year for about 10 years. Our favourite cocktail is Tom Collins - try it😉

Most delicious food we have had in Crete and this is our third town/city. Staff were/are so nice and accommodating, making room for our party of 7 at a busy time. We had a varied selection of dishes. The one posted is the bruschetta with scrambled egg and avocado. Delicious.

We came by for coctails one night at the beginning of August and it was totally unplanned to stay there for the whole night, however, the place is beautiful, waiter was very friendly and made the evening pleasant! We ended up ordering kinder bueno pancakes to share which were delicious as well as the ones with strawberry and cream. Coctails were great! We had palomas, strawberry daiquiry, porn star and lollipop and also received on the house some local raki with honey 😊 Definitely would recommend this place for both coctails and pancakes!

Everything about this restaurant is exceptional - the food, the drinks, and the service. There’s a good variety of options available, and I love that they cater really well for vegetarians. I had the vegetarian pasta dish, which was delicious. Equally delicious were the cocktails, of which there was a great selection. My only regret is that I didn’t have a chance to go back and try more of their menu.

This is the spot for breakfast! We chose it because of the menu and view. Not only does the menu have your typical favorites like eggs benedict and pancakes but it also has some other options you typically don't find like peanut butter and banana toast. The food was excellent and the old recipe lemonade was SO good. Lemonade is typically so hit or miss at restaurants - this was a GOOD one! And while we came for the view and menu, the music and service are what really made this place a 5/5. Our server was SO kind, even when we got a little complicated with our order he said not to worry about it and something about it being a beautiful day and to enjoy it. Highly recommend.

Well worth the short walk from the old Port. Update: Visited a second time and again the food was excellent, good portion sizes and prices. We failed to finish the cheesecake...

We loved this spot while staying in Chania - visiting 4 times in 3 days. Breakfast was delicious and so were the cocktails. The servers were friendly and the view was beautiful. Highly recommend!

The best sports bar in the area! Lovely and friendly staff, cozy place with nice snacks on menu and good drinks with fair prices. They have a screen and many tv’s, watched ice hockey world championships here and they always had the right channel on when walking in. Warm recommendation!

Best cocktail bar in Agia Marina. Specially if you like to watch sports, they show you any game you want. Perfect service and the smiling guy became the legend of our trip. 😎 Will visit many times during our holiday. 🤝

Called here on the way back to the hotel, was welcomed with a smile and chose our table. The lady was prompt with taking our order. I had a bloody mary, pictured, and it's very hard to get the balance right and this bar guy nailed it. Also has a sports channel I think and a pool table. Relaxed vibe. Nice decor, clean toilets. And free nibbles! Well worth a visit.

On holiday with my family went in on my own for a quick pint instantly felt at home.asked elia would he put the man utd v arsenal match on for me in a few days he said no problem.So sunday i popped in met a great Arsenal fan called Alan proper old school and his wife Sandra we had a great chat about football. The day we were leaving we dropped in for a couple beers and chatted to Elia and his wife there love and warmth made my holiday . ❤️

We watched two Formula 1 races and two football matches here. We tried the nachos twice, that was really good! We also tried the pizza but that was not the best.. but the service and atmosphere is nice! And the beer and drinks were always good 😊

Atmosphere nice, looked good from the street. Service good. Food .. the fried stuff was nice and fresh. The "real beef burger" in the menu was not real and for sure, was not cooked fresh. Waste of money, it costs double than the other burgers. We complained, they smiled.

It was a cloudy and windy day so we thought Irish coffee would be a nice warming up thing. We got pretty chilled coffee… And we couldn’t pay by card, it had to be payed by cash. Can’t say I would visit again.

Walked past this place on our first day, and on the second day we said we needed to go to this place because it looked fresh, vibrant and cool. Initially popped in for a cocktail and while there maybe check out the food. Service was great and personal. Weather was warm so got two salads and they were awesome and refreshing. Cocktails were best we had so far also. We will be returning to this place.

Wanted somewhere to see football (I know typical British abroad). Stumbled across Plus+ bar and they had 8 screens set up showing sport from all over the world. The atmosphere was lively and the other customers shared friendly banter. But the things that make this bar stand out were 1: the staff, everyone so helpful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. So funny and so friendly. 2. The cocktails , all made fresh and with stunning decoration. So tasty and made just the way you like them. Prices really good for the quality you get. If your not interested in sport it's a perfect place to watch the world go by, the stepped levels going into the bar give it a theater feel and you can face the street and people watch. Food is also very good, not traditional Greek but done very good taco's, burgers and sandwiches. -Elvis burger highly recommended.

Was so good we went back multiple times on our holiday, great spot for lunch and an evening drink. The service was amazing, staff were extremely friendly and made us fell so welcomed. The selection of drinks and cocktails are great and the atmosphere was made better by the staff interacting with all the customers. Cant recommend enough, go visit and have a drink or some food there.

I can only speak for the espresso....simply some of the worst I've ever had. Double cappuccino with virtually no milk, just under extracted dark roast with a plop of foam. Very disappointing. Every location should know how to make a basic espresso-based milk drink..this place isn't one of them.

Great place for cocktails! We called in here in the way back to our hotel for a cocktail, and we weren’t disappointed! Run by a young man who looked after us very well and adapted drinks to our needs. Does great cocktails and ones which others in the area don’t seem to offer! You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent cocktail bar. Different tastes, fresh and friendly staff. The vibe is warm and chill, and the music is great, something hard to find in other bars in Platanias. There is also a wide variety of sports playing on the tv, in the afternoon. Highly recommended for people looking to relax and have a nice cocktail. :)

What a fantastic place, apparently not long been open but done out very well and if you like the micro brewery sort of thing then you must try this place, some of us can’t last forever on holiday with the local euro fizz so this has to be the answer, great owners/staff who are happy to chat make for a good visit too so please give it a try.
