Beer Church Brewing Co. is a new addition to Berrien County's brewing scene, housed in a historic Civil War-era church in New Buffalo. The brewery focuses on crafting robust beers, particularly IPAs, under the guidance of Nate Peck, Tapistry's former head brewer. In addition to their impressive beer selection, Beer Church Brewing Co. also offers delectable thin-crust pizzas from their onsite pizza oven.
This was our 2nd time here, and it didn’t disappoint. The pizza crust is the best. Seriously I wish all pizza had this crust. Everything else was tasty. Some things feel a little higher priced than they would be other places and the menu design takes a bit to figure out. Stephanie was a phenomenal server - knew the menu and had opinions - helped guide us the right direction.

Great brews! The atmosphere was excellent... the staff... well... I parked in the back parking lot because that was the closest available. I recently had a significant foot injury and just got out of my boot. ( I didn't fly with my crutches, my fault, but this was the only place it was an issue)I hobbled my way inside because I really wanted to visit this location! I sat at the bar and then was advised there was no bartender and I would need to go to the upper deck. I asked if I could order in the main indoor seating area and have my flight brought there and explained my situation. The answer was that wasn't possible! Had my flight, great beers, love the flight board and the unique names. After struggling my way back down ALL the stairs and back up stairs to get out, I asked the hostess if she could possibly be let me out the back door, the same person that said I couldn't be served downstairs (and aware of my recent injury), the answer was "no"again. So, I made my out the front and used the black railing on the side to help myself along, only to cut my hand on something on the railing. What could have been an amazing side trip turned into a stressful and disappointing experience due to the lack of accommodations.

Hailey and Mark on the rooftop were on it this morning for brunch. Awesome service and outstanding food too. We had the breakfast pizza, bacon sandwich, and some Blessed Mary’s. Best brunch in town now.

We first went to Beer Church Brewing waaaaay back when they first opened when it was a church with a bar, some brewing equipment, and some cheese 🧀 and snacks. We came back today and WOW! What a difference! For the better I will say. The outdoor area is gigantic and seats plenty of people. Which is good because there is a steady of folks coming in to eat or drink. We had brunch and some beers 🍺 and our food was plentiful and delicious. My bacon was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Also, get the funeral potatoes, trust me. I had an Oktoberfest and an amber beer and they were both very good. I highly recommend stopping by and getting some fresh cooked food and beer, or just beer. One word of advice: It can get crowded so if you’re bringing a big group (four or more) seating can be an issue. So stop by early. Or see if there’s a lull (given how many people walked in around 1 PM, good luck). Definitely on our list of “must stop” places. And Gerzey our server, thanks for the good service and here’s your mention to help you out. 😉 Really, just stop in.

First thought this would be a great place to go on a date . Wonderful food options wonderful cocktail options a good beer list that has just about every category a very nice setting. The patios, upper and lower are wonderful.. our waitresses name was McKenna She was very alert, knowledgeable about the drink, menu and food. The gluten-free options are nice here. cheers!

We came here for lunch during our annual girls' trip and absolutely loved it! Great food, great atmosphere, and our server, Chloe, is a total doll! If we ever visit New Buffalo again, we will definitely be back!
Margie M — Google review
Great atmosphere and vibe! Service was alright on the top deck. Server/bartender never came by to see how we were doing, and we had to walk up to the bar to be cashed out. But drinks and food were fantastic! Definitely will be returning when I visit New Buffalo again!!

We had a wonderful dinner at Beer Church! McKenna was our waitress and did a wonderful job remembering the little things of each of our order. She recommended Cacio De Pepe for me and the lemon vinegarette was amazing! I would dine again and highly recommend to others!

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Beer selection is great and the food is really tasty. The service was very good and they had an outdoor seating is very relaxed. There was a good breeze and it is dog friendly to boot. The interior is beautiful and the bathrooms are very clean. Would definitely eat here again.

If I could give this 10 stars I would! Every dish we had was wonderful! We had the beer cheese and pretzels, and the Tuscan cheese dip for appetizers which were AMAZING. My husband had the Michigan slice burger and loved it! He is a big fan of olives and they knocked it out of the park. I had the burnt ends melt, and it was phenomenal as well! We both had the truffle fries with our sandwhiches which were really good. The only complaint we had was the fries were just a little over done. I would rather them being over done than undercooked. I highly recommend this resturaunt for your visit! The service was phenomenal, the food was fantastic, and overall will be a must stop for future visits!
Jessica P — Google review
Burnt Ends Melt was delicious, and we really liked the waffle fries. My sister's grilled cheese with pesto and mom's fried fish were also really good. However, my mom didn't think paying the upgrade for the truffle fries was worth it, and my kiddo wasn't a big fan of the kids' meal pizza. Overall enjoyed most of our meal and would definitely try again!

I'm from Grand Rapids and came to St.Joseph for a day trip. From enterance into the building to end of meal this place was exquisite. Camille was an excellent server amd was very prompt while having at least 4 other tables at the time. She's a very nice young lady who was so good with my kiddo. The manager on duty was also so nice to speak with. Service was so good I had to compliment him and his staff. 20/10 recommend this place.

Emily was awesome, was actually cut and stayed to help get our group of (6) golfers served beer and took our orders for apps (not getting the tip) just to help out. She even talked to us about recommendations in the area as well. Great server!!! Oh and the beer was delicious!!!

Great beer and delicious food. The Chicken and Waffles were savory and makes me want to go back again! They had a great beer selection and the server was very attentive!

My wife and I stopped by for lunch. The Pork Belly Ramen was amazing. The Harbor Havana was the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. The beer was top notch! I love German Beer … the Hefeweizen was outstanding. The real treat was the Chocolate Banana Stout. OMG it was ridiculously good. Will definitely be back.
Flight L — Google review
I think I just ate a sandwich that I will always think of when something new asks, "What is the best sandwich you've ever had in your life?" First, cute place, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices. We shared the Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer . Amazing. Like, I wanted to lick the plate. Beer flight - you choose 5 and all were good beers. Before I get to the sandwich - the menu is worth reading just to see the incredible flavors the chef is working with. I have a list of things I would have to try if I lived here. The salmon, the cauliflower steak, the watermelon feta salad. Also - I ordered my sandwich and decided to skip the waffle fries and got the side of sweet and spicy pickles. Never imagined I'd order an entire bowl of pickles. Or that I'd eat them all. Props for giving pickles the place they deserve! The sandwich. Maple Bourbon Pecan Chicken. "maple and pecan crusted chicken breast topped with jalapeno bacon and white cheddar cheese finished with a fig spread in an artisan bun" HEAVEN. Absolutely delicious. Great service. Nice bathroom. And they really cater to families. Looks like a great place for visitors but also an establishment that is part of the community.

Interesting food selection, went with rueben which was great but food lukewarm. Bloody Mary was fantastic and worth the $10, big juicy olives and pickle included. Celery salt, pepper, and hot sauce provided to doctor it up, personally I like mine a little zesty/spicy. Son said the cheese on the beef and cheese was awful so scraped it off. Not many options for July 4th, but great that it was open. Server was nice but after he took our order for four people with no notes, came back so we could repeat our order. Not worth the $77 we paid. Also, took fifteen minutes to get our order taken because some southerners vacationing decided to pay each check individually and they have these fancy portable credit card machines. The red ale was meh

Nice brewery with food, the beer wasn’t as cold as I like it and the flight I got was 20$ (Which I think it a little steep) or else I would have given this place 5 stars. We got nachos and they were great! The bartenders were very friendly and it was a great atmosphere! Flight and nachos pictured below.

Updating from 4 years ago. Still Good staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Reactor still remains my favorite of their brews. We were there last evening. Quiet night in Bridgman so it was quite enjoyable. My earlier review criticized the food. Last night we shared beer cheese and pretzel bites. Cheese was smoky but not too smoky so I enjoyed that. Then we tried the Korean Bbq tacos. They definitely have heat with the sriracha slaw so if you’re a mild loving person, don’t try but I thought they were oh so flavorful! Nice crunch with slaw and the pork tender and tasty. (Yes pork, not beef as you’d expect with Korean Bbq). Definitely recommend trying!

Stopped in here over the weekend for the first time after doing some hiking at Warren Dunes! What an awesome spot! They were a little short staffed and only had 1 person working the bar and tables, but she did a great job! We got an app and flight and both were top notch. I liked almost every beer I tried. The beer cheese and toasted pita chips were amazing. I definitely will be stopping back out here the next time I'm in town. Great place for lunch, dinner, or if you're just in the mood for a high quality beer!

A nice diversity of beers from classic styles to modern hop bombs. Easy enough to find plenty of interesting beers to fill out a flight. It was practically empty when I was here but the bartender was nice and open to chatting.

Service was perfect and the Sunday special brisket burrito was delicious. It's definitely worth a detour off the highway. One of our pictures is from the Beer Garden in the back

Ordered a flight and we ended up with Mr Orange and Something Helles. Enigma was excellent but I wanted something with a little less alcohol. Bartender was great to talk to and was very knowledgeable about the area. Had some not nachos and they did their intended job of soaking up some of the alcohol.

My party (3 people) and I came to New Buffalo, Mi. just to try Ghost Isle Brewery for a birthday. Overall, this experience was not for me: 4/10. We arrived shortly after 5pm and we stayed until almost 7pm. The ease of finding parking and handicap accessibility was magnificent. Nobody in my party is handicapped. however, knowing this is an option is wonderful. The atmosphere and cleanliness of both the tables and bathrooms were not first noticeable. However with the grates tables and chair, they are noticeable between the planks. It was busy the entire time we were here, and they could definitely use more staff. The staff they did have was kind and friendly. Practically the only redeeming factor outside the atmosphere. The wait for drinks orders was ok. The drinks we received were good. The beer we received wasn't anything to clamor about, it was decent: 6/10. I disliked that they brought out our entrees at separate times. When they brought out two of the three out, the server did not mention anything to the third person. We waited 10 minutes before asking our waiter if their order was coming, all while not eating our own in hopes theirs will be out soon. Our server comes back to tell us that our ticket must have gotten thrown out and he placed another order in for their entree. Another few minutes goes by, and a different server brings out their entree. It looked magnificent and smelled wonderful. All the while during this time, I only ordered water to drink, and finished it before I finished my food. Not once did they ask me for a refill, I was able to ask for a refill as they came over to see if we needed to go boxes... It was just not timely at all, the food I received; prime rib sandwich, tasted like onions on bread. The fries tasted like batter and oil. It was just not a good trip in my experience. Especially since we saw such good food online, to only come for this - was a waste of gas in my view. We traveled from the west side of Illinois, nearly a 4 hour trip just for this. Thank you to our server, Joshua, and the host who sat us, and those in the kitchen. Enjoy the rest of your day. But you won't see us again.

By far the worst experience i’ve had at a restaurant. Dined in here around 12:15 today and waited nearly 40+mins for our main courses to come out. Meanwhile everyone around my table got their food within 15mins of being seated. With me and my partner being the only brown people in the establishment, our server wasn’t attentive and constantly walked by ignoring us without explanation as to why our food took so long until i gave up on waiting and asked for the check early. Food wasn’t worth that long wait we got put through, unseasoned food, fish was beyond chewy and nearly raw. Worst establishment ever.

When you can't get into Greenbush, stop in here. Or just skip them and go here instead. After getting skunked yet again my wife and I headed back down the Red Arrow Highway and made our first visit to Ghost Isle Brewery. First off there's plenty of parking. Second there's an outdoor area that would be great to sit at when it's warmer. The brewery is very spacious with a big bar and plenty of tables. We were seated and ordered onion rings and boneless chicken wings and a tasting flight of four 5 Oz beers. We had two IPAs, a Stout, and a Porter. We ordered two pints each, both of us having one pint with no duplicates. They were good and we're looking forward to try new beers when we come up next time. The appetizers were very good and plentiful. We went for an order of kettle chips and dip and enjoyed those as well. Next time we'll try dinner. Give it a try, you'll like it.

We came in on Saturday (Labor Day weekend) around 2:00 with a party of 4. The place was busy but we were seated fairly quickly. The service was horribly slow. I understand this was a Holiday weekend but being in the service industry, one would think management would staff accordingly. Cam was our waiter and he was quite rude. We ordered appetizers and it took almost 45 minutes to get them. We ordered the pretzels and fried pickle spears. The pretzels were burnt but we just dealt with it. Then we ordered our food. It took another 45 minutes for that to come out. It may have taken longer but we flagged down our waiter to ask about our food and then it finally was served to us. On one of our orders they forgot to add the onions so that took even more time to get to us and when the onions were served to us the runner (little red head guy) he was so rude to us. There was no manager working the floor checking on the patrons. I asked to speak to a manager (Corine) and when she came over to inquire what I needed she was very unconcerned, uncaring about our experience (this was our first and only) and really unprofessional. This is not the first review complaining about how long it takes to get your food or the demeanor of the waitstaff. There are plenty of complaints on yelp, google, and a few on Facebook. So these are long running issues that should be addressed but have yet to be by management. I spent $140 for the meals for 4 and I will never go back to this restaurant again. I also will never recommend this place to anyone I know. There are plenty of breweries in the area. Please look elsewhere for great food, beer, and a friendly staff. This is not the place.

Haymarket Brewery & Taproom is a vibrant spot that perfectly blends the joy of good company with delicious food and drink. This lively venue often features live music, creating an inviting atmosphere for friends to gather. Guests can enjoy a unique ordering system where they select their seating and complete their orders on paper before heading to the cashier. The outdoor space is particularly delightful when the weather permits, offering dog-friendly areas with Adirondack chairs around fire pits—ideal for relaxing on warm summer days.
My friend and I had dinner here, and the pizzas were great. The wood firing gives an extra flavor, and the toppings were delicious. My pizza had BBQ sauce and pulled pork among other toppings, and I enjoyed every bite. The beer was also quite nice, and I’d recommend trying the Baltic porter. It’s definitely a decent place to enjoy a meal or night out.

I love pizza, I love beer! This place does both extremely well. I went in and asked for a pizza that is underappreciated, but is extremely good. They gave me the Elote! We also ended up, ordering the dragon and the potato bacon pizza. All three were exceptional. The suggestion was a surprise because I had corn never had a pizza with corn. The beer is a standalone we had the cold dark night, perkunas, house cider and my favorite the indignant, dirty chai. This is gonna be a place to stop by on a harvest toast in the future single overnight from where we are as well worth coming out. We did leave with two growlers.

My family and I have visited on multiple occasions, but this is the first time in four years. We enjoy eating wood-fired pizzas, especially those at Haymarket. We ordered the pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and Margherita pizzas. Each one was very flavorful, and we couldn't stop at 2 slices each because it was that good. A great balance of a bright and flavorful sauce and creamy fresh mozzarella cheese. I don't usually eat pizza with char, but I will eat these all the time. For our appetizer, we ordered the Pretzel. The pretzel was soft and had a nice chew, but the dipping sauces were not good at all. The Gouda cheese sauce tasted chunky like it had separated, and the hot cheese sauce had a very undesirable flavor. To me, they should create a beer cheese sauce with one of their house beers. I drank the Relief Peacher, a Peach infused IPA, and it was a very easy beer to drink with this pizza.

I love an Octoberfest beer, and this was the best one I have had in years. It had a rich malty aroma and a wonderful, toasty malt body with a well-attenuated crisp finish. This was a perfect festbier.

We always make it a point to stop at Haymarket when we're in town and have loved our experiences, just as we do with the Chicago location. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our Chopped Salad order. As shown in the pictures, it looked nothing like the description on their website and lacked several ingredients (roasted chicken breast, applewood smoked bacon, etc.). When we called to let them know we had received the wrong salad, the woman on the phone was shockingly rude and hostile. Instead of addressing the issue, she insisted it was the correct salad, despite the clear discrepancy. That being said, the rest of our food--the meatball appetizer, the Bad Dragon, and the Pepperoni/Sausage pizza--was excellent. However, due to the unprofessional and aggressive response we received over the phone, we won't be returning to this location.

Great place to enjoy a lunch and some tasty beer. The elotes pizza and French onion dip were exceptional. I also really enjoyed the Lost in Jalisco sour! We came with a huge group (8 adults and 5 kids), and they were able to accommodate us. The kids had fun and liked the food.
Matt L — Google review
Pizza was amazing, service was great. They made a mistake on one of pizzas (they thankfully caught this before I left). So they remade both, gave me the inaccurate one as a bonus, and a free drink while I waited. Will definitely be back!

What a fun spot for fabulous pizza and great brews! Sit at the bar, you will be well taken care of. We got Elote and the Bad Dragon- perfect crust, toppings, balance, and they arrived so quickly. Thanks guys, keep up the great work! We’ll be back.

The Tavern on the River is a great spot for classic pub fare and local craft beers, as well as delicious cocktails and a deck with river views. The menu is packed with delicious options, and the service is always friendly and efficient. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone in the area!
The nacho burger is the best ever, and so are their Moscow mules. Julie is amazing at her job and always makes sure we are well taken care of! Thank you.

what a great place!!! On the River Tavern hit the spot and the food looked as brilliant as it tasted!! We enjoyed a chill vibe and who would of though we'd walk under a Jimmy Buffett sign entering their outside area the day after he passed!! All meant to be!! A paradise and a 5'o clock somewhere can be found here and the live music made the night even better as me and my daughter danced the dinner away!! We enjoyed a burger, the taco salad and boats passing by the marina's as we indulged and we promise to be back for more next summer season!!!
Steven M — Google review
We really liked this place, but everyone had to wait over an hour for their food. They offer a nice variety of bar food and also a huge menu of "adult" teas. We had the ArniePalmer and the Hawaiian. Everyone that tried a flavor loved them. They have a cool inside bar area as well as a great outside space on the water. Our wait staff was friendly and definately over worked. The onion rings are yummy!
Cathy M — Google review
I'm giving 3 stars because this place really needs to bug spray the deck. If you aren't going to do that can you please go out there and clean the bugs and spider webs before your guests arrive? It is a serious issue. Good is great. Service is typically good but sometimes short handed so you need to wait. Do a better job cleaning up the webs, that will go along way with your guests.
Donna — Google review
Love the closed indoor and outdoor area for those who enjoy cigars. The resturant/bar area is simple and nice, and the deck area looking over the river is great. Food is very good.

Use to go to party here years ago….went back this weekend for drinks and food. Sat on the deck and it was nice! My waiter was so nice loved her !!! I had the black and blue (I think that’s the name) burger and it was spectacular howeverrrrrr THE RANCH! I need to call and see if I could purchase by the bucket because OMG it’s sooooo GOOOODDDD I been thinking about it every since 😮‍💨 Please let me know if I could purchase a larger size for home lbs

Beer was warm and then found a dead mouse just sitting under the bar stool next to me. Does not smell great in there either.

A dive bar? At first sight, exterior & interior… you’d think. Walk in.. dim lighting, not very crowded, which it should be.. great bar for drinking and bar-stooling.. Walk outside and you are on a cool deck floating on the St Joe River. Lotsa tables with umbrellas, boats floating up & down the river; dock your boat & come aboard for lunch or dinner. Basic bar food but at a much higher level than any in this vicinity. Try perch sandy.. big and tasty. The Italian Beef sandy is the best this side of Lake Michigan..not on par with Jonny’s Beef in Melrose Park, IL (outside Chicago) but dang close! Don’t pass it up!

Delicious lunch! 4 of us dined in. All were happy with our meals. Server was friendly, prices good. I recommend I had a Ruben and was pleasantly surprised it was real chunky corned beef, not sliced lunch meat. My husband had the Malibu chicken.

Average bar atmosphere, with average service, and average food. Got a cheeseburger that was a little small maybe 1/3 pound if that for $10.50 and it cost $2 dollars more for fries. Burger was also so greasy my bun got soggy :(. Overall average bar experience. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Nelson's service, setting, and food are always spot on and usually even better than anticipated. Recently discovered their Wednesday Mexican special. I loved the taco salad, edible bowl and all. My friend was equally pleased with his wet burrito.

We went in just as they were closing the kitchen.. they cooked our whole group burgers and they were great. Also wonderful French fries. The waitress was nice and very friendly.

Casual, friendly vibe. Quick service on tasty bar food . Yummy pies! Fun roof tiles.
Linda J — Google review
This neighborhood/town staple had amazing, fresh hamburgers as well as typical bar food. The burgers are hand made and generous on a fresh bun. Nice selection of draft beers with a few craft ones and the usual bottle selection. Fries were good (shoestring) but I think I'd like to have the curry fries best time. Three people with burgers, fries and beers came to $40.
Stuart O — Google review
Stopped in just for drinks and an order of fries so I cannot be too helpful in this review. I can say however that the bartender was pleasant and attentive despite the fact she not only took care of us at the bar but she also took care of all the customers sitting at tables AND she was the cook! A relaxed atmosphere as usual. One of our favorite places to visit regardless whether it is just for drinks or dinner before heading over to the Acorn Theater. A consistantly good experience.
Dean J — Google review
Nice small local place, friendly people with good service and fair prices. Stopped here as a recommendation from locals about the burgers. I had the rueben, which was good. Wife had the burger, which came out way too undercooked and bloody, and didn't get asked if we wanted it that way. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. But still worth a try if you are in the area.

Kathy's Riverside Tavern is a popular spot among locals, known for serving delicious burgers and offering a great selection of toppings to customize your meal. The tavern hosts Happy Hour every weekday from 4-6, making it an ideal place to unwind after work with a burger and a cold drink. Visitors rave about the Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe and other menu items, praising the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere.
The ladies were both great and lots of fun to visit with. The burgers are awesome! Garbage Burgers and Bacon Cheese Burger were all great! We had fried mushrooms, pickles, corn nuggets & and mozzarella sticks, they were all great too! Can't wait to come back.

This place was great. Not a lot of options in the area open for 8pm on a Monday. Found this place and all the reviews say its a great burger and I am here to say the same. We rolled in at 10 after 8 (they close at 9) and Cindy met us with a smile and then proceeded to cook one of the best bar burgers ive ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place. You won’t be disappointed.

My family is from South Florida and we were in the area for a wedding. We went for dinner tonight, and it was Incredible. The food was so good and the employees that were working were very friendly. If we are ever back on the area we will be going back!

Best burgers around. Had a great lunch!!
Chris S — Google review
One of the best burgers we've had in a while. 4 stars because I couldn't get a beer but that in no way reflects the quality of the food. We really enjoyed it.
Don M — Google review
I had the first post three years ago that I just took down. Since the owner died some time ago. The wait staff are not very friendly. Look like they are always bothered because they have to wait on you. As I said in my first post. I have been going to this bar for 55 plus years. The food is not what it use to be. So sad because they used to pride themselves on their burgers. Will not go back. So sad

Really fun place to go for live entertainment. The bartenders and waitresses are very friendly and always smile. Drinks are served in a timely manner. The atmosphere is awesome. Great mix of people of all ages.

A group of us heard there was karaoke at this bar on a Thursday and thought we would check it out. Paid a $3 cover each and it wasn't what we expected. It was a basement bar with black lights and a very eclectic crowd.

Love the visual feeling you get by walking in the door and seeing the colors burst and pop from EVERYWHERE. A place where ALL senses can become lost...from the greasiest pizza EVER or supporting a local bands/djs. The artistic stairs alone will amaze ♫♫SW Mich.'s BEST CLUB♫♫

Just a nice relaxed atmosphere for a couple drinks with friends. Depending on the night, the live show is free. Treat the waitresses right! Their nice ladies.
Kevin S — Google review
I will no longer be supporting Czars 505. There was an incident that is not acceptable and both the owner and James should be held accountable for their actions. James decided it would be a great idea to spew hate towards the LGBT community to bisexual women. I was shocked that the owner claimed he couldn't do anything. You own the place so yea you can fire his hate filled behind and send him out the door. But since you won't, I guess the door was for me and anyone else who supports the community. It's pride month for goodness sakes! Don't be a homophobic jerk y'all!

Great place to see live music. Saw really good band called The good, the bad, and the blues. Good drink prices, friendly staff and fun crowd

Been twice. First was a ska band. Second a country guy. Had a blast both times. Good drinks and dance floor was full.

I just stopped in once as I passed through St. Joe's. I had a very strange experience. Had a few drinks and when I got up to go out to get my phone charger out of my car something grabbed me by my shoulder. I turned around expecting someone I knew or something but no one was there. Strange things are happening in my home now. Can y'all come pick up youe ghost please? Lol

Great music, wonderful, friendly, & knowledgeable ladies that work there…it felt like home away from home. They had great alcohol and nonalcoholic choices. My fiancé and I had a great time! Plus, they had these pretzels that you can only get in Michigan and we were so happy that they had them there! We also love the decorations! Definitely a hidden gem!

Live music Saturday at 5:00 outside with lots of seating. Local wines mixed drinks local beers. Great place to get a drink. Minimal snack options
Heidi M — Google review
An absolute MUST VISIT!! Local Pour allows you to taste the best spirits and wines from all over Michigan in one room. We spent the week doing the wine trail, and this is the only place we went to twice. Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, and she made the whole experience that much more enjoyable! This is such a great concept and the first tasting room of this kind that we've ever been to. There is seating inside as well as a nice outdoor space. This is also the first time I've ever had horseradish vodka. It blew my mind. Order a Bloody Mary with it, and it will be the one you measure all others against.
Seth D — Google review
What a wonderful tasting room! You can go to other places and just sample one winery or brewery. Here, you can sample multiple wineries and breweries, as well as sours and ciders. There are great places to sit, and the staff is super friendly.

I love this place! I come back as often as I can when I’m in the area. These ladies know their beer and wine. They also make AMAZING cocktails. Support local and support women owned businesses!
Michelle B — Google review
We stopped in over our Holiday stay in this area. The Mixologist was fantastic. The overall experience was very pleasant. Definitely a place to stop to have a taste of Michigan.
Lauren T — Google review
Local Pour is a LOCAL HIT!!!! what an incredible experience and we even had our 12 year old daughter with us as we created our own Michigan wine trail and stumbled upon these front doors!! The wines were delicate and tastefully beautiful and our service was impeccable!! They had music jammin' outside and the band was a blues singin' masterpiece blend to go alongside the crackers and vino!! We will certainly be back to look, taste, listen and take home more wine to Chicago so we can tell them how much better the grapes are in Sawyer!!!
Steven M — Google review
Stay away if you like to be treated with a decent amount of respect!!! I was on my way to meet my girls down there for some drinks tonight but the way the owner snubbed my friends, they felt so uncomfortable they left. They weren't going to order until we all got there and the owner acted like they weren't worth the dirt under her shoe! They weren't even inside the establishment yet. None of us will be back. Shameful!!! PS "Karen", there were more of us on the way. Our tab surely would have put a dent in what you needed to "pAy FoR tHe bANd"
