Recommend the poutine, it’s up there with Canada’s! The beer selection and recommendations are great, and the taste testing is appreciated! Went twice in a week and had a new rotation on tap which was fun! Both times staff were attentive and friendly. Also has a nice view of the mountains and card games to play — definitely drop by!

Came here on a Friday for lunch, crowd was quite thin. People, don't queue for the trendy places, this bar has it all. Fantastic food and excellent kiwi beer. Don't miss. And the view is pretty good too.

Great bar and atmosphere, the bartender suggested some great beers and even gave me tastings. Would highly recommend this to anyone who loves a beer and wants to have a good time! Also on a plus side, they have plenty of board games to keep you and your friends engaged.

Great bar. We were able to fit 10+ people from our group down the side of the restaurant on the long table without making a booking which was awesome. Food was good. The boys said the chicken burger was absolutely amazing. The pizza was good too.

Great little bar for craft beer lovers! I went on a Tuesday night and as expected it was very quite. But the bar tender was a legend and made me feel welcome. Would definently come back next time im visited Queenstown

Amazing, such great burgers and so much variety of craft beer options and ciders!

Although it caught the last of the sun on a Sunday evening and had live music, we sat down because on the menu was a smash burger. We were excited for this having wanted to try ferg burger but the line was huge. Unfortunately, this was NOT a smash burger and should not have been listed as such. The patty had no resemblance of having being pressed into the grill and then bun had been toasted too much and made the entire thing really dry. Silver lining was that the pulled pork tacos were bigger than expected and pretty tasty

I had the most bland fish tacos of my life at World Bar. Not even the “spicy aioli” could save these things. No seasoning in the fish batter and none on the slaw. My server was nice but all the other workers kept congregating at a table right next to ours and they were being incredibly loud and disruptive.

So far it’s been a 50+min wait on a Tuesday afternoon for a burger while there is 10 people here. Not really good enough. I walked past the kitchen and someone was on their phone at the pass. They also advertise a happy hour, but it’s only on two low carb, low bal tap beers.

A better burger than the famous spot in town and a much better experience overall: there is a spacious, heated patio outside with a good atmosphere and you don’t have to wait in a huge quiet before you can place an order. Don’t waste your precious holiday time just for a picture…enjoy time with your loved ones here.

We booked space at World Bar for our group of 40 people on a Friday night. Amanda was amazing helping us coordinate everything. Food was top notch Mexican and overall it was an excellent night!

First night in Queenstown and decided to go for a few drinks and to listen to some live music. Stumbled across Little Blackwood which was definitely a cosy hidden gem with both indoor and outdoor seating. The cocktails were all fantastic and well presented. The musician was Matt Orange who was absolutely phenomenal, great vocals, great personality and great vibe. That guy can sing! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this bar just before you want to wind down for the night. Thanks all ❤️

Came for our anniversary night. Booked a table through First Table. Got the 3meats and 3cheese platter. So much food! So good! Cocktails were the best we have ever had! Staff were very friendly. Live singer singing banger after banger. Very enjoyable night!

Such a busy wee bar on a Friday night. Located in the wharf with an entrance on the wharf and from inside the arcade. Made the most of happy hour between 4-6pm and tried 2 cocktails an espresso martini and a gin one. Both yummy. Bar staff were great, sat at the bar watching them make cocktail after cocktail! Gas fire added to the ambience and was needed on a cold, wet night.

Absolutely loved our visit to Little Blackwood! It's in the most perfect location right on the waterfront, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. We snagged a table and enjoyed a couple of beautiful glasses of wine while soaking in the amazing atmosphere. We ordered the vegetarian pizza and some chips, and they were both delicious. The pizza was fresh, with a fantastic crispy base and great toppings, and the chips were perfectly cooked. It was the ideal meal for a relaxed evening. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and one of the best views in Queenstown!

Went on a hot spring Saturday, great atmosphere with plenty of people packed into the area. Quite noisy and busy but didn’t have to wait long to get a drink. Had a bowl of chips which were quite good. Highly recommend for a good social experience.

Great casual pub in the middle of town. Great team behind the bar serving delicious snacks and burgers, fresh craft beer and a solid selection of gin. Big shout out to the Imagination Seaweed gin! Definitely worth a visit (or three).

Was raining today, but they have blankets, which made it super cozy. Delicious Blue cheese burger. Amazing Perogies. we had the Babushka OG .... DELICIOUS. A HUGE RANGE of cold beers and ciders. Burger was standout. Bun was delicious too.

I tend to only to leave a review when its positive. However, in this case I would give zero stars if i could! The rudest bar staff members. Was only interested in flirting with the younger male clientele when not even ordering or spending any money.. It ruins what could be a great bar. PLEASE employ nicer staff (i assure you, if they aren't grateful to work with a smile on their face, other people will) for the sake of your business.

Amazing place. Lovely staff, well priced drinks and the best pool tables in the universe. You guys are amazing we truely felt like we were at home. Came to Queenstown from Sydney and we have spent all 7 nights here playing pool and having a drink. Well done to all the staff we appreciate you.

Located in the town area. Easy to find. Staff is friendly and lovely. The environment is great. Beer is cheap. Just 7NZD for a pint of beer. A lot of pool tables inside so can get one pretty easily. However sometime its still occupied for every table.

This restaurant has been on my list for a long time and I finally got to try it with my boyfriend for our anniversary. The setting was lovely with a fireplace and a great atmosphere. Service was generally fine, though it felt a little distant and formal at times. We chose the wine pairing with the menu, but I was told I had to finish my wine before they would serve the next course, which made the experience feel a bit rushed. The food itself was thoughtful and well-executed—flavours matched the price point. However, one dish contained a cherry pit still inside and unfortunately, my boyfriend bit down on it. It caused him noticeable pain and he was fortunate that it didn’t result in any damage to his teeth. We flagged this to the waiter, who just mentioned that it “sometimes happens.” That response was quite disappointing. For a fine dining restaurant, extra care should be taken to remove such hazards, or at the very least, a warning should be given to diners. We weren’t looking for any compensation, we had already used a First Table discount and we do think this is something worth pointing out, as it could be dangerous and could easily be avoided. We hope the team takes this feedback onboard.

After 7 years in Queenstown, I finally gave myself the chance to dine at The Bunker—and it was far more than just beautifully presented food, it was a complete experience. Every dish carried playfulness and a strong sense of identity, with each ingredient thoughtfully placed to elevate and balance the flavours on the plate. I was blown away with every bite, each dish feeling like the best one yet—until the next arrived. Special shout out to the kingfish crudo for its extraordinary flavour and presentation.

Cosy vibes, incredible service, and food that honestly blew us away. The venison was next-level and the duck was melt-in-your-mouth perfection 🦆🍷 Every course felt thoughtful and full of flavour. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Queenstown — such a gem! 🌟

The last five photos are from my bad experience; you can clearly see the huge difference in the preparation and presentation of the dishes. In February, I had my first dining experience at Bunker. We paid for the full experience — there was a wonderful menu from which you could choose different dishes. Everything was amazing; every plate that arrived was beautiful and delicious. We left with a lovely memory and had a great time celebrating our anniversary with my husband. With such an incredible experience, I really wanted to go back — this time with my mother. She invited me for my birthday (October 6th) after I kept telling her it was the best dinner I’d ever had in Queenstown. But honestly, it went from heaven to hell. The first thing the waitress told me was that they had changed the menu — and wow, they really had. You can see in the photos what a huge mistake it was to change it; the new menu has absolutely nothing to do with the quality I experienced in the summer. The starter came with the smallest churro in the world — and the only thing you could taste was oil. The burrata looked and tasted awful, completely unappetizing. The lamb was extremely undercooked, and the dessert was a disaster: strange pumpkin jellies with an unpleasant flavor and a cookie that tasted very strong — to me, it honestly tasted like animal interiors. And to make it worse, there was no other dessert option! Both of us had to eat the same awful dessert, while in my first visit, I had two glamorous and delicious ones. From 1 to 10, I’d give the new menu a zero. I will never go back.

One of the rare instances where I found the entree and main to be better than the appetisers. The kingfish crudo was fresh and refreshing with the sauce (with nashi pear, sesame oil and shiso). I got the cod as the main dish and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS - the fish was creamy, buttery and flavourful from the seaweed, but also not too fishy. The appetisers were kind of meh, the eel churro wasn’t too crispy and almost on the wetter side? The beef tartare was ok. The lemon sorbet was refreshing. But the pumpkin dessert was novel but odd, especially the candied pumpkin had a weird texture. The service was really good and had a nice fireplace next to our table (made my hair smell smokey after though)

A brilliant night! Our server was fantastic, food was delicious and ambience cosy and warm. I was recommended this place by a colleague and what a good one at that! I’ll be recommending this place to others too.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special - as we were seeking after eloping that morning! The welcoming ambience set the tone — warm lighting, elegant decor, and a vibrant yet relaxed energy that made us feel instantly at home. The music was perfectly curated, enhancing the atmosphere without ever overpowering conversation. But the real star of the night? The food. Every dish was a revelation. The “melt in your mouth duck” was just that — rich, tender, and bursting with flavor. One of our guests declared the steak the “best steak ever”, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the venison? Hands down the “most delicious venison I’ve ever tasted” — delicate, deeply flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also must mention the impeccable service. Kaelin (apologies if we’ve misspelled the name) was a true professional — warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. This was more than a meal — it was an experience. We’ll be talking about it for a long time and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended. We flew from Tasmania, Australia and will hands down visit again next time!

Yonder is always such a vibe!!! This time we went for dinner and ordered the brisket with fries and the Japanese fried chicken. Very well served and beautifully presented. Big brisket fan here and it was melt-in-your-fork tender!!! Loved the barbecue sauce and the spices on the pickled red onion. I tried two drinks suggested by the staff: the Woohoo and the Miss (something I can’t remember). I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite! Guess I’ll need to go back to refresh my memory hehe Thanks & well done team! Isa

Chic restaurant that serves unique brunch options, with their pancakes garnering quite a bit of attention and caught our attention when looking for a brunch spot! 🪑 there’s quite a bit of outdoor seating when we arrived, and they are warmed with 2 heaters in the centre - making it a good sitting area to enjoy the outdoors 🥞 pancakes were unique, was a little skeptical coming into it as it came with a steep price tag, but saw that it was actually unique when served, with lots of different bits which makes for quite a flavour bomb - i would personally still prefer my pancakes the traditional way with savoury food though. 🥦 the cauliflower dish had a million flavours as well, a dish that is hard to processed flavour wise (in a good way) - the kale was the standout as it was perfectly crisp. ☕ coffee was too milky for the large cup, but otherwise decent It’s quite a pricey brunch spot for the quantity, though the quality is definitely present when comparing it to other cafes.

Great place to just hang out and chill The waitress serving us (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name but you had the nicest pair of corduroy overalls ever) was super friendly and attentive. Amazing service, she really put the work in to make sure everyone was having a great time.

This was the first place we ate at in Queenstown and it really did make a great impression. The team offered us a drink to celebrate our honeymoon, which was a nice touch, and the food was excellent. Matcha porridge was a standout breakfast porridge. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned for breakfast the last day of our trip despite breakfast being included at our hotel.

Wow, Al was looking after us and she was a delight. We have been in Queenstown for 10 day and we all voted this as our favourite meal and are considering back for breakfast but have flights to catch. Huge kudos to the chefs and staff. We highly recommend Yonder.

This place is a gem! Perfect breakfast spot but you can also get lunch & dinner, the vibe and seating area is awesome. Heaters and blankets accessible at each table in the winter, great music playlists and table service. The staff are happy to make changes to your dish if needed (I had things in separate bowls, and asked to swap ingredients from another meal).

Came for breakfast. The venue is actually much larger than expected from what we could see from the road. We got vegan pancakes with extra sausage. The pancakes were very good for being vegan (and maybe gluten free too IIRC). We were also impressed by what seems to be house made sausage, although they were more like koftas or burger patties. Not cheap but servings are generous. Service is very friendly and attentive. Venue is stylish and distinct.

My Spicy Friend Chicken was amazing and my wife and mother in law loved their venison and seafood chowder. The Beer that is brewed by them was great too! But I have to say the vibe is amazing, it is a proper British style pub, it looks beautiful with its architecture and interior. And the best thing for me is that it has no TVs, coming from Sydney I know a TV ruins the vibe of the place and not having TVs in the pub makes it more friendly and cozy! I'm definitely returning when I come back to Christchurch!

If you're into craft beer, make sure to stop in at Pomeroys. Staff are always helpful and friendly, happy to let you try samples before choosing. Heaps of choices of taps with a range of styles of beers. And the chips are so good. Nice atmosphere. Lucky to call this one my local!

Best place for a meet up and even better when it's mulled wine 🍷 time! Food is consistently good from the bar as is service. Gosh it's taken more than 20years of visits for a review but it's stood the test of time as a great place with atmosphere winter or summer, whether 2 of us or a group outdoors.

I was driving past and was looking for somewhere to go for dinner, so I decided to check out the website. We decided to give it a try, and we're lucky to get a table. Recommend booking a table. We had the bangers and mash, and Cumberland sausage (spiral) slightly peppered, which was fantastic. Big variety of beers, locally brewed. There is no mainstream lager, so try something different people. Sticky date pudding was really good, too.

Welcoming warm and well worth a visit. We had a lovely early evening family meal. Staff are great. Kind towards the kids. Food was plentiful and tasty. Atmosphere has a relaxed local vibe. Thank you.

Next up: Bardeaux, another Queenstown cocktail spot that feels like a cozy cabin in the woods—complete with a real fireplace. The cocktail menu is pretty extensive, but the two we tried were a bit on the sweet side. That said, the chairs were so comfy, I could’ve sat there all night. Priorities, right? 😅

If you’re after a cosy yet classy spot in Queenstown, Bardeaux is an absolute must. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially sitting by the open fire, perfect after a day on the slopes or exploring town. Their cocktail menu is excellent, with a great balance of classics and creative mixes and the wine list is one of the best you’ll find in Queenstown. It’s definitely more of a lounge bar vibe, think leather couches, dim lighting and a touch of sophistication, rather than a party bar. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, happy to recommend a drink if you’re not sure what to try. Prices are a little on the higher side, but you’re paying for quality, ambience and the experience, which makes it worthwhile. Overall, Bardeaux is the kind of place you’d go for a relaxed evening, a date night or to impress visiting friends. A MUST DO!!!

The dimly lit atmosphere, coupled with cozy lounge areas and a crackling fireplace, creates the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. Their single malt selection is impressive, and the smoky paddle is a must-try for whisky enthusiasts. But the real standout was their mulled wine - it was pure magic

Love Bardeaux for their big leather seats, amazing wine, and cozy atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great spot for a rainy cold day, sit by the open fire. Equally great to sit outside on the balcony on a hot day. If you like wine or whiskey, this is your bar.

Amazing place for a glass of wine or whisky. They have really a good wine list and do whisky tasting flights. The fire pit is so good during winter. Music is good and chill, allowing you to syill hear your frinds talking. Very good vibe, my go to in Queenstown.

The best cocktails I’ve ever had! The penicillin and madeleine were the ones I tried, I wish I could have gone through the entire list! Amazing, speakeasy style fit out, friendly, attentive, efficient professional service and just a really well put together venue. Extensive wine list, cigars and an awesome range of spirits, especially whiskies and a DJ to add to the atmosphere. These guys know what they’re doing, we’ll be back. Highly recommend 🍸

Enjoy two lovely flights of whiskey here, one from New Zealand and one from Wales. The service was excellent and our server had an encyclopedic knowledge of the whiskey they serve. He gave us terrific recommendations and we had a lovely time, especially because there was an Irish session happening on a Wednesday. Great experience all around!

I was looking forward to this place opening today. So many whiskeys. Great menu. Unfortunately, my experience was hampered by lax dog laws in this establishment. I sat inside out of the wind. Only to find a lady sitting on the couch with her greyhound on the couch beside her. I quickly lost my want to drink or be in this establishment with the smell of dog ruining my experience. Considering there is ample room outside for people that like to bring their furry children. Unsure why they allowed this dog on the couch inside.

This bar was decorated really nicely with nice velvet couches, board games and a fireplace. They have a few mixed drink options, we both got martinis. Otherwise they have a lot of whisky. We did ask for other suggestions of drinks but it seemed like we had to stick to the few on the menu. The jam on the martini was really good and a unique garnish!

Hope you like your cocktails sweet. Seriously, both of the drinks we got tasted like they were 50% simple syrup. An old fashioned should let the whiskey shine, not hide it behind a massive wall of sweetness. Atmosphere is really great and the bar has a great selection of spirits. If you're just having straight drinks or whiskey on the rocks you'll have a great time. Cheers

Great place! A nice surprise was the band playing Celtic music (starting at 8pm on the Tuesday we visited). Although they did chat amongst themselves for a few minutes after each piece they played. Do they just show up and jam (they didn't say anything to the bar patrons while we were there.)? Very good, regardless.

A very nice Scottish bar in the centre of Dunedin. The atmosphere is cozy and there is a nice vibe to the place. It is quite small inside however, so on cold / rainy days it can be crowded inside. They have a good selection of many different beers and drinks. Their beer tasting is also quite nice, 5 beers for $14. A good way to try some different styles. The guy at the counter was very helpful in giving me advice on the drinks. Overall a good place to come and have a drink and a good time.

Dropped by "Al-bah" on Christmas Eve as part of cruise ship day stop in Dunedin and had a great pot Dunedin style mussels and the 5 beer tasting tray. Nice atmosphere, good food and beers on tap and the most happening spot on the street!!

There is always something great happening here, there is often a band playing celtic music it's brilliant. My friend Conor loves this place and he doesn't usually like anything.

The view is spectacular it's amazing stunning and beautiful! Indescribable !breathtaking ! to see the mountains and lake in harmony. Food is lacking in variety and quality. Nothing that gives a wow factor to the taste or presentation. Mussels look dry and prawns just the same. Anyway, the view is worth the time.

Spectacular in every way. The highlight of our trip to Queenstown. Book a window seat or one seat back if possible, but all seats have wonderful views. The singer musician was great too ! World class -very well priced. Extraordinary-

Gondola + premium lunch (including a glass of wine with window-view seating) + 3 luge rides = $179 in total. Honestly, the food was just decent, but the atmosphere made up for it. The sky view was absolutely stunning..! definitely the highlight of the day 🙏

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Skyline Queenstown – Gondola & Stratosfare Buffet Dinner, and it was nothing short of magical. From start to finish, the service was outstanding and truly made our night unforgettable. Although I missed responding earlier to their email about reserving the best window seat, Amelia (Team Lead) went above and beyond to make everything possible. Without any extra charges, she moved us to a perfect window seat overlooking the icy Queenstown mountains — an absolutely breathtaking view that set the tone for a very special evening. A special thanks also to Olivia, who was so polite and attentive. She not only cleared our plates with such professionalism but also surprised us by serving sparkling wine and cocktails, courtesy of the restaurant, which made us feel extra celebrated on our special day. The food was incredible — a class buffet arrangement with so many delicious options that it was impossible to try them all, pretty much the same in the cruise ship ☺️. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The overall atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and combined with the view, it truly felt like dining in a dream. We are so grateful to Amelia, Olivia, and the entire team at Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar for making our anniversary unforgettable. This was honestly the best dining experience we’ve ever had, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Queenstown.

We had just stopped for a little snack, and these exceeded our expectations by FAR. I would give this place 6 STARS if I could! Plus with a beautiful view!! Out of this world!!! I am ready to lose my mind over these fries and over this price and view!!! 🌟

The view is incredible, and taking the gondola up the mountain is worth it -- though, hiking up is also a great option. Regardless, it's worth going up. However, the Dinner buffet at Stratosfare was quite disappointing, and you're probably better off getting dinner elsewhere. Though, not the worst, and we still had a lovely evening. We tasted a little bit of nearly everything -- and there are a lot of options -- so I won't go into too much detail. SIDES: Pretty much everything is lacking. The spices are quite dull, so you don't get the flavors you would expect. I think plain basmati rice is the best choice here. MEAT: The meat was generally good, with the exception of the wagyu beef, which was the worst cut of any beef I've had in a while -- so tough it was inedible. On the other hand, the lamb was delicious, and everything was pretty tasty too. SOUPS: Both were good, though the tomato soup was too salty for me. SALAD: Can't go wrong with salads. Their pre-mixed options were good. SAUCES: The sauces were all good except for the pesto. The apricot chutney was delectable and paired well with a lot of the meat. SUSHI: Worth getting. Though, chicken in sushi is still weird. DESSERTS: Hit or miss. The ice cream was great, we could have had seconds of the pear jello, creme brulee is a classic, and fondue is fun. Nothing else was worth getting -- not bad, but not something we really enjoyed. DRINKS: We only had water and tea. Thankfully, the wait staff were regularly replacing our water, since I always drink a ton with meals. The one big issue we have with the drinks is that even soft drinks were $6/glass. Every other buffet we've been to has unlimited refills for simple, non-alcoholic beverages like that (perhaps with a one-time fee, sometimes they're just included), so this was surprising. ----- For us, the dinner was the reason for going up the gondola and buying a few luge rides. But honestly, you're better off just going for the gondola ride, the gorgeous view, and the luge rides -- which were a blast. If you are going during dinner time, it might be worth tacking on the dinner, but we think it's probably better to just get dinner elsewhere before or after your trek up top.

Very nice place! The Pizzas are AMAZING especially the crust hehe 😃🤤 Its a very nice place to eat and talk and enjoy some beers. They have pool tables too and a latín party but I haven't been to the party yet. Also, the have a deal right now: 2 for 1 Pizzas when you get a drink 😃 Definitely coming back 🤝🙂‍↕️

Absolutely 10 out of 10. Took a group of 48 teachers and student, and of all the dinners we had in Queenstown during our week trip, this was by far the most organised and easiest, and reallly delicious pizza. Management was great to work with, staff were great, all dietary requirements covered, couldn't fault anything. Will definitely be back. Huge thanks team 💪

Wow! We had dinner here tonight and the pizza was incredible! May be the best pizza we have ever had, crispy thick crust and the toppings generous and tasty. We did have to wait a bit for our food unfortunately but with the food quality that good… well worth the wait! We will be back again soon while on our trip here, was amazing!

It’s really good beer. I had the Belgian dubbel and it was perfectly balanced. The ambiance in here is terrific as well. It’s tone and quaint but also offers views of the water and mountains.

Great spot in the shade with a beautiful view across the lake. Friendly staff, seemingly endless choice of beers (many local). Didn't eat there but the food I saw looked really good and reasonably priced. Liked it so much I walked past many (many!) other bars closer to home to go to this one 3 days in a row. Loved it. Walk, don't drive. This applies to almost anywhere in Queenstown. It's not huge, just walk.

[20-Apr-2025] I was surprised how good the quality of meat in this place. 😍🤩✨ My recommendation is Rump steak with chips and the new hazy pale ale (forgot the name). Also, they have seating area outside and great service. BTW, the hot sauce is incredible. This place is a must in Queenstown. 🙏🙏

Start here! This is the place! Incredibly underrated. Trust me. Genuine staff, good vibes, great view, great crew, exceptional local and craft beer! I'm genuinely surprised. Limited signage, big impact. Been supporting locals, the community, and adventurers since 2008. 20+ local and signature beers on tap. Mulled wine and mulled ginger beer. Daily specials for Bahn Mi, Tacos, Steak, Burgers, Roast, etc. all with vegan vegetarian options. Busiest days are Wednesday (Steak night) and Thursday (Burger night) Quiet good vibe music, great view, and happy vibes feel. If it's busy, don't give up! You're not in QT to stress about the small things. The food is great, you won't be disappointed, but as a visitor, from here, do a lap of QT waterfront, finish at an Irish pub for a spice bag, guinness, and mulled wine. Seems to be the thing. Otherwise, grab an outside table early (3-4pm), start the heater, grab some blankets, settle in, enjoy the view and crew, and make the most of the daily special! Note: Pets outside only, no booster seat for kids, no takeaway beers. Limitless support though, just ask 🤙🏼

I came on a Wednesday afternoon. Dux was recommended by the hotel I was staying at. I had the chicken burger (which they very kindly made into a salad) and a yummy hazy beer. Great atmosphere, delicious food and beer. A nice chill place to be 👍☺️

What an amazing venue. I had never been here before. We went for a friends birthday celebration. From arriving to the venue, to leaving the venue, it was a phenomenally great experience. It's a beautiful looking restaurant with greenery all around. The food - we ordered a pizza that was so tasty that I wish we had ordered one each instead of sharing - shout out to the hot sauce that my hubby raved about. The highlight for me was the live music which was really really really good and made the time go so quickly. We were all singing along and having a great time. Will definitely be back. What a gem. Wish I could give it a 10 outta 5 :)

Love this place! We come from Singapore for a company trip and decided to have our last dinner in New Zealand here. Turns out that it was a good decision! Foods are on point. Services are good and friendly. Vibes are very fun and all. Recommended: the roasted pork belly, fish tacos, and seafood chowder!

Once again the Queenstown hospitality was top notch. We grabbed brunch at a quaint little bar and the food was wholesome and so tasty. The service was friendly and welcoming. Prices were affordable and if you are on a budget then this the place to go. Definitely want to return.

Oh dear, not what was expected…. Dirty cup for the tea, bad start. Sticky tables. Big breakfast was poor sausages, egg whites not cooked, beans not even warmed up. “Chef” in the garden having a pint at 11am? You can’t cook a breakfast this bad unless you don’t care or can’t cook. Avoid.

Had the Irish Spice Bag and double smash pattie. Was amazing. The curry sauce was incredible, never tasted anything like it and I want the recipe. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

The atmosphere seemed great, funky cool vibes within the bar, was excited to check out the place. Unfortunately, the owner is a cold, nasty, rude balding man who likes to pick on women. The other bartenders were very nice, respectful, and understanding, it is a shame his boss is an angry coward. Within two minutes of sitting down and waiting for a friend to return from the bathroom before we ordered our drinks, the owner was glaring at us. After I simply took a sip of a water bottle (which was just water), we were approached in an aggressive manner and told to move on, he interrupted us multiple times and then walked away whilst we tried to speak. Leave a tip if you want, but here is a tip for the owner; get over your power trips and see a therapist.

Visited here a couple of times for their $10 breakfast deal which includes 2 slices of toasted bread, 2 eggs, hashbrown and streaky bacon. Good value for money. Plenty of outdoor seating available too. Staff is friendly and like most of Queenstown was understaffed at the time. Staff was still friendly and stopped by for a quick chat.

All you can eat pasta Tuesday: Unique experience, hard to review when the menu changes but I didn’t think this particular menu was that great. I thought the 3rd main was quite disgusting really. The other two were okay, 1st was the best. However, definitely worth returning when the menu changes. Delicious focaccia but don’t be fooled into eating too much - that’s how they get ya. 8 April 2025.

I’ve been to Pink Lady twice now, it’s a stunning spot with amazing views, definitely one of the more aesthetic bars in Christchurch! However, I’ve found the cocktails a bit hit-or-miss. The toasted marshmallow one in particular just tasted like straight alcohol, not the balanced, flavourful cocktail I was hoping for. So don’t recommend. On the plus side, the chicken nibbles were absolutely delicious, highly recommend grabbing those if you’re feeling snacky.

Went Friday night and sat outside the view was lovely . Shame a building is being built next door blocking (one part of the sunset view ). Drinks were nice . Had one cocktail and one mocktail $34. We had No food here. The heaters we asked to be out on outside which wasn’t a problem . We had one of the high tables and the seating for this made it hard to get your chair in and out due to the concrete edging, as you could only push your chair a small bit back . Also the outside tables we were at, had quite a few tiles missing which dragged it down a bit made it look run down a bit . Unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of the tables . Would be great if these could be fixed as it would make difference . Only a small thing , but can make a high difference .

Seeing it all over tiktok and thinking the menu for August was definitely sounding good I booked a pasta night. Staff were very friendly on arrival (minus one getting a public telling off for doing something wrong). Served straight away and the dishes were bought out very punctually. The beef cheek was a little disappointing with minimal flavour and shreds of meat = least favourite. The gnocchi was delicious (favourite) and the sauce was super creamy and flavorful. The last dish (pancetta) was very seasoned but tasted really good aswell. Server came up as we were starting third dish and asked if we wanted anymore. I requested another gnocchi (was there within a minute) which i soon regretted my choices as by the end of third dish I was already full. I struggled through that fourth dish. I blame the foccacia bread served as entree for feeling so full. I was a little disappointed I had no room for tiramisu but there is always next time. Overall a good experience that everyone should go to atleast once! Value for money too.

Went here tonight for my birthday dinner… was so disappointed and went home in tears, just wanting to have a good night… First we arrive with both cups for the water served to us so dirty with lip/finger marks… The bread served was ok but was WAY to salty First pasta was a beef pasta (hardly any beef) but was the nicest pasta out of the 3 Second pasta was absolutely disgusting and made me want to throw up (mind you I’m a pasta person and love all sorts of pasta) the texture, the taste, the look of it, everything was gross Third pasta looked so nice and tasted nice except it was COATED in pepper, the taste of pepper was so over powering and was such a shame cos this dish actually would have been nice … Didn’t even bother getting anymore pasta after this for the free flow pasta as it just wasn’t worth it… waste of money, waste of a birthday dinner, won’t be returning

First time coming here after hearing a lot of my friends telling me check it out, so I decided to get a few of the football mums together for a wee outing, the cocktails were delicious so easy to drink & the presentation was superb, staff were very friendly, the food was amazing, we only ordered some snacks & just as well cos they were filling, we all shared the food which was a great idea. The only thing I had an issue with was the music was quite loud that I couldn’t hear what my friends were saying, but other than that I couldn’t fault the place. Popped in on a Saturday evening by accident as was visiting someone nearby and decided to stay for a couple of drinks. The music selection was good but a bit loud for the space, lots of shouted conversations. Came back on Sunday and it was quiet by contrast and there was no music, though it was just as much fun as the previous evening. Great recommendations from the sommeliers on both visits.

Hidden gem is an understatement. 12 Garage Project taps and a beautiful courtyard. Definitely coming back for a vino and tapas soon.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks and snacks. The venue is funky with a moody South American style vibe. The sunken indoor/outdoor setting is wicked. Loved the lowlights and overall mood. Staff were welcoming and whipped up a delightful old fashioned with all the finesse. Of course, the newly opened beer hall had ample offerings. We ordered a couple of brushettinis: anchovy and tomato. Divine snacks. Will likely be swinging back through several times, I am sure, before we leave.

Just dropped in here for a couple of drinks, and had such a good experience we stayed for hours. We sat in the relaxed outdoor courtyard, tasted wines and nibbled on a cheese platter, and enjoyed the live music, too. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who could guide us in choosing wines, and a great atmosphere for a relaxed night out.

Come for the wine, stay for the food. It's such a rare thing to see a venue done so right and you know what? It shows. The wine selection is brilliant and Johns knowledge and want to make his customers happy just shines. I've not had incredible olive oil since Italy and the bruschetta is covered in it... To die for. The mushroom and lamb tapas was also brilliant. The partnership with Garage Project just adds to what is an already brilliant establishment.

Lovely little bar set back from the street. Alty art and dim lit inside but lots of nice conservatory seating. First cocktail we ordered was super weird - Dram Nutty - and couldnt get it down, so they replaced it for free for a different one, which was so appreciated as they were $20 each.We didn't eat but the Mexican food sounded nice.

Interesting place, interesting art, it has the making of a great place. They were busy on arrival. One girl looking after three areas, doing a great job, a learner bar person and one other. The place seems to do a lot of cocktails, the idea and concept was there, pricing was up there but execution and flare slightly missed. I had a few small meals, started with the corn fritters, which were more like tough dumplings. But the sauce served with them was nice and it was not tough to chew. They were pleasant. Tried the grilled fish taco, I do not understand why the taco was cold not even warmed….. it was ok again. Then I tried the grilled Adobo chicken skewers. Got the nice smoky grill flavor, the peanut sauce was sweet, but once a little salt added the dish lifted (this is personal preference). A couple of nice chilli sauces served on the table. Music was good, mixed crowd of young and business. Lots of cool art on the walls. Will be back to try again.

Great place to grab a cocktail. Has a big outdoor fire to keep you warm. Delicious food which is from their sister restaurant, Mexicanos. I had a pomegranate martini that was delicious and not too strong. It went down a treat. The one thing you have to try when you're there are the potato skins and cheese sauce. So delicious.

This is a fantastic bar specialising in cocktails, no beer on tap but a good selection in the fridge. Friendly staff, good service and attention to detail everywhere. They share a kitchen with the Mexican next door and the beef skewers with chimichurri and hot sauce were excellent. Quirky art - after which the bar is named.

My first time here, this is probably now my favourite place to eat and drink, absolutely amazing! Honestly, we would order a taco, and in what seemed like the time it took them to walk to the kitchen and return, we had our food. And the flavour, was the perfect mix of texture, the right balance of ingredients, enough heat to know it was Mexican, but not overpowering. Do your self a favour, check this place out.

Delightful range of cocktails to try here, both on and off the menu, which described the drinks very well. In particular, I would return just for the KGB, light horse and the satchmo of Japan (super unique banana and matcha flavour) cocktails! My friend would also recommend Chumley’s and tobacco road. Didn’t try the bar snacks but other tables seemed to enjoy. Good service, a bit of a wait but the cocktails were certainly made with care. Bar staff were more than happy to offer recommendations and mix off menu cocktails to suit our preferences. Wait staff were also very attentive with water and clearing glasses throughout the night. Nice wall to keep coats too! Fun music by the DJ who really seemed to be enjoying himself. DJ mixed using physical records which was unique to watch, and took song/artist requests too. Good range of seating, from booth to bar seating. Some seats faced the very bright LED lights near the DJ which was a bit much, and some tables were close to the door adjoining the smoko so less comfortable if you are a non-smoker. However overall a really nice ambiance. Clean bathrooms!

Had a cocktail here before dinner with fried gnocci and really loved the cool vibe and cosy atmosphere. We sat at the bar and it was mesmerising to see the bartender put together all these cocktails. Not that easy to find down an alley, which only adds to the speakeasy vibe. I sort of messed up the password as I first asked whether this was actually the bar 😅 but they still let us in 😄. Will certainly be back, it’s a great spot!

Great friendly staff and service, we ordered tickets online which made things smoother. Our session had a lot of people, close to 20 people, so it made it a very tight squeeze inside as the room is quite small. The ice sculptures were amazing and the drinks very tasty, however difficult to get good photos or a seat initially due to crowding. The staff came around and took group photos for everyone which was lovely. People do leave early however so if you stay to the end of your hour session you get the place pretty much to yourself. If travelling with kids would recommend 👌

Minus 5 Ice Bar was such an amazing experience! The customer service was a solid 10/10 – from the counter staff to those inside the bar. Everyone was super friendly and even offered to take photos for guests, which was a thoughtful touch (especially for couples wanting some memories together). We chose the Adult Signature Package, which included entry and two cocktails/shots, and I’d say that’s all you really need. The drinks were fun and tasty – we especially loved the Peachy Penguin cocktail! I was a little surprised by the size of the ice bar, as photos make it look bigger, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. The ice sculptures and atmosphere made it really unique and fun. The provided jackets did have a bit of a funny smell (unsure how often they’re washed), but the gloves were excellent and definitely helped keep our hands from getting frozen or wet. Overall, a really cool and memorable experience that I’d recommend to anyone visiting Queenstown.

Went today with the family, including two kids — what an amazing experience! The temperature was a chilly -7°C, but the super friendly staff made us feel totally comfortable and welcome. A fun, unique experience for the whole family — highly recommend if you’re in Queenstown!

Very good place, good atmosphere, good games but the mechanical bull should be improved by adding more sponge on the sides, since it left me with bruises on my legs. I must also point out that one day (March 10) there was a boy who was very aggressive with the bull and people were afraid to get on... so I decided to go the next day with another boy and it was very good, i enjoyed it, except for the bruises. Regarding the cocktail menu, they could have more variety of cocktails. But in general I recommend the place, the best bar in Queenstown in my opinion.

The interior of the place is kind if fun, however it's a bit sloppily put together. You can see dried glue all over the decorative logs, making it look like a rush job. The food wasn't great. We had poutine, and didn't see any cheese curds amongst the gelatinous gravy. We also had pizza, jalapeño poppers, and lasagna. It was all mediocre. I was glad to see that the jalapeño poppers did have half a whole jalapeño in them, but the filling was lacking flavour. We also had a couple drinks. The Canadian Caesar was alright, but missing ingredients such as the celery salt rim, celery or lemon garnish. I didn't taste any Worcestershire sauce in it. The hot buttered rum was nice, staff was friendly.

Great bar. Free pool. The crisp lager is much tastier then the rhino lager if your into lagers. Plenty of seating. Nice and warm bar.

The service was amazing. The food was nice enough. The pizzas were nice but a lot of flavours all loaded on one pizza. The calamari was good, nice flavour and not overcooked. The bacon, mac and cheese croquettes are pretty bland. It was a very dark ambiance and felt a bit more of a dirty club atmosphere rather than a restaurant (obviously it's both)

Was there on Saturday night. The young guy was polite and friendly. Their buffalo chicken pizza had a good quality thin crust. Definitely will be back when I return to Queenstown in the future! 💯

Terrible service - asked for a vodka lime soda and got a lemonade. Gave the bartender the benefit of the doubt, asked for the same thing again, and still didn’t get the right drink. Ended up paying twice and got attitude from the bartender. Instead of clarifying what it was that we wanted, we were met with aggression. The venue and atmosphere is average, if you get a burger meal you can expect it to come with 7-8 chips only :)

Olivia is such a caring and reliable person. She’s patient, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done properly. You can tell she genuinely enjoys helping people and puts her heart into her work. Anyone who gets the chance to have Olivia on their team is really lucky!

We were very disapointed with this place, they have a sign saying kids meals are free with every paying adult, our food took 40 minutes from ordering to table arrival and it wasn't busy. we also noticed once home that we were charged for all the kids meals along with other random drinks that were not ordered. contacted with a photo through facebook and no reply either. very disappointed that other peoples drinks were added on to our table tab!!

Hannah looked after us and made our first visit to a rock bar such a great experience. She was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. As newcomers, we weren’t sure what to expect, but her energy and service really set the tone for a fun night.

We had an amazing night at Barmuda, great music, drinks and an awesome courtyard. Really cool fires on the outside tables too which adds to the lively and fun atmosphere. A late liquor licence too so you can party into the night! Thank you, we’ll be back!

We were served by a female bartender with blonde hair and she was the absolute sweetest! She asked how our day was and was super personable. The place was a bit of a vibe with a big fire going and small fires on tables. DJ was playing mix of tech house and a little bit of techno. Drinks reasonably priced considering how $$$ some other bars are. Was a bit of a vibe! Would recommend.

Larnach Castle is absolutely beautiful! So well looked after and full of fascinating stories to discover. The staff are incredible too, friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the place. All around you, native birds through the gardens, which are stunning on their own and open up to breathtaking views. Inside, there are plenty of rooms to wander through, each with its own little surprises, and you can even climb up to the very top of the castle for a view that’s just wow. If you can, go in summer when the gardens are at their most majestic, but even in winter, the whole place feels magical, like stepping into another world.

It is a mock castle on Otago Peninsula built in 1871 and privately owned. It is opened to the public daily as a tourist attraction and offers tours, events and accommodation. It has magnificent gardens and there are guided tours within the castle. It is a significant tourist attraction in Dunedin, receiving approximately 120,000 guests per annum. Popular with tourists. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen especially when touring the gardens. Beautiful place. Lots to see. Parking is easy. Great place for photography. Toilets available. Restaurants available serving a variety of food. Uneven terrain, lot of walking.

What an interesting place to visit! We stayed in the stables accomodation. Considering the price which includes breakfast and the entry to the castle and gardens its pretty cheap. The breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Rooms were clean but we found it to be a little loud (mainly water pipes and large entry doors closing) up until midnight. Castle and history is pretty amazing

Beautifully restored 19th century "castle " country home and gardens. We visited on a very rainy spring day, but the topiary and spring flowers were lovely. The interior contains period appropriate fixtures and decor, complete with 19th century bathrooms, family heirlooms and clothing. The woodwork and decorative details have been carefully restored. The narrow stairway to the tower was fun! This is an historic site, and private restoration of the Castle is ongoing. There are seperate accommodations on the grounds, but we didn't visit those.

We so enjoyed our stay here. It was exceptional. We had the best time at the dinner and making new interesting friends there. The food was amazing. What really made the stay was the night manager’s kindness. We are sorry we can’t remember his name, but he was amazing. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and an expert multitasker. Whatever he’s being paid, triple it!

Paid to visit the gardens $24. If you want to go in the castle as well it's $48. The gardens are lovely and the outside was just as nice. Coming from the UK it's not the I was expecting but it's lovely all the same from what we saw on the outside. You get pamphlets when you buy a tickets detailing the history and a map which was nice. The cafe/ballroom is something else entirely....so grand and very historic. The open fire places added a wonderful touch and you can sit outside in the marquee or even at the tables on the grass. We only got a drink so can't comment on the food but what we did see from other people it looked lovely. The afternoon tea we wished we'd done. It was a lovely visit.

Had a lovely stay here overnight and enjoyed touring the castle the next morning after an absolutely wonderful breakfast prepared by their chef. Definitely plan to return, it was a wonderful experience all around. Especially the bathroom floor that is heated, and made our feet so happy!

Wanted to go in off the street walk in on the Sunday night but no walk ins as they were full. So booked for the Monday night and glad we did because still very busy… so booking mostly recommended. Quality pizzas probably a little pricey but consensus was that it was well worth the price of admission. Good tunes, good atmosphere and decent service time given how busy they are. Compliment to Jack who brought a little humour to the night. Glad I got the curry mayo for my wings.

Super cosy place on the second floor, came here for dinner on a Saturday night and was absolutely packed. We waiting at the front of the line for over 10 minutes, almost gave up since no one came to seat us, but the host finally came around. The vibe and food made up for this however, as the atmosphere of the restaurant is superb and the pizza was spot on. All the pizzas we ordered were great, no complaints. A highly recommended spot to try if you’re in Queenstown.

Horrendous visit here. We arrived at 9.30pm for a very late dinner as went to night ski. Waited 5 minutes at the please wait to be seated sign. No one came so I asked the bar staff if we can sit anywhere and they said we’ll be there soon. No one offered us water. No one offered to take our drinks order once we got a table. We had to get up and go to the bar to order our food then afterwards a staff member comes over and says uhh the kitchen closes in 5 minutes if you’re gonna order. Still no offer for any drinks even when she saw we had none. We had to go to the bar just to ask for water. Pizza came and it was good but the service and staff care was horrible.

Jack, our server was absolutely amazing, not sure what the other 5 or 6 staff were up to other than twirling their hair and chatting. The girl who took our payment at the end of the evening was platting her hair right next to food being prepared. The food however, was incredible, came out very fast and tasted great, kid friendly. Once again, Jack was brilliant, very attentive but not over bearing, definitely deserves kudos!

The food was really good. The pizzas are not your usual topping and the medium is definitely good for one person. On this visit the service was not that great. The tables did not cleared when people left and waited ages for a drink several times. Probably could have easily had double is the service was good. When going up to a waitress one of them was very apologetic

We were looking for a chill environment to enjoy a beer and simple meal after a long travel day. We were excited when we walked in. Lovely and warm environment with the fireplace. The pizza and salad portions were small for the price - but not a big deal - totally understandable for a pub in a busy ski town. The one star rating was for the shockingly bad service. We counted 7 staff on the floor (including kitchen) and 7 customers including us. We were seated outside on the balcony. After no one came over for 15 minutes, we asked to move inside. We asked if we were ok to order at the bar and my husband was gruffly told to sit down and wait. We waited and no one came by. I went up again to order and was successful. The server never came to our table for a checkin. We wanted some sauces for our meal. I asked our server. He gruffly said he didn’t have any. Surprised. I double checked with the kitchen. They again said no. We waved over a third server who again told us to wait. We sat and quietly observed 4 staff chatting and laughing behind the bar and 2 staff in the kitchen chatting. We flagged a 4th staff who had newly walked in and asked again if they had any sauces for the pizza and she said “of course”. We mentioned that 3 other servers had said no - which she was highly surprised by and immediately helped us out (thank you!). I worked as a server in a ski town for quite a few years. We had nothing but stoke for our trip and only wanted some minimal service and politeness. So much potential here! The rest of our trip was awesome and we had great service and experiences!!

Beautiful spot to eat lunch. We had all kinds of ducks and birds walking through and helping themselves to leftovers. We loved the nature coming through. The food and service were great. We had appetizers, lunch, and drinks, and all were great!

We been waiting for 22minutes to get this extremely dry beef steak. We were in rush, so didn’t ask to change. Try to eat all of them. I showed this to the staff. The manager said this is medium. Have a look at the pictures below. It is medium??? No one would like to spend 44 dollars to buy such kind of steak. This is not acceptable

Went here with my son and family. Called ahead to ask them if I was allowed to come in with my 6 month old baby and the lady said we were more than welcome to. Got there and spoke to the girl behind the bar counter and first contact was just not pleasing at all. We weren’t acknowledged she just stared at us probably thinking what are these brown people doing here. Anyway we ordered our food which came in all perfectly and the girl who served us was nice enough to offer a baby chair for my son. In that time between waiting for our food and ordering we had so many staff walk by and just stare at us judging us. My mum even said she wanted to bag the food and leave but i insisted we stay coz it was our last night in queens and it was her birthday. We quickly finished our food and my mum did not even want to finish hers coz she wanted to just leave. When leaving we thanked the same girl with pony tail behind the bar counter and again she just stared at us. The food was good the server was good but the rest of the staff and that particular girl really made my mums birthday and our last night an awkward and sad night. Please be kind to everyone please don’t racially profile people that come in to enjoy your guys amazing pub. As much as we enjoyed ourselves I’ll definitely try and avoid coming to this place with my family and friends.

Don't get me wrong. Food was amazing, we had the lamb shank which was out of the world. Juicy and soft, the meat was coming off the bone. The ambience was fantastic and so were the drink options. Everything 5 star however the ONE Star 🌟 comes because the young waitress there has zero training on customer service or basic Etiquettecy. She snatched the plate off our table while we were eating without even asking. We were not done with the meal yet, we were enjoying the drinks and the music. This kind of behavior is not acceptable. Such a great place but management needs to ensure that their staff are well Trained and well behaved. Very sorry to have experienced this, my first time in New Zealand. Just Sad.

This place is brilliant, I popped in with a mate just after a few drinks. All the staff were lovely. After a chat with the manager he had shown us a menu and recommended a few dishes, me and my friend couldn’t resist and the food was delicious. Top bloke Cameron is Will definitely be back

Nice but with approx 40% of their seating outside with heating/partitions etc they choose to allow smoking there but do not sign it as a smoking area. Group of 6 sat down after ordering then were surprised as 3 fag lads lit up at the next table and blew smoke all over us. Surely those days are gone in eating establishments in NZ Won't be going there again.

Good was better than I expected for a pub, which is to say really actually quite good. Service was really good too. Only gripe was the music - if you go prepare yourself for a non-stop deluge of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nickelback.

Busy pub on a Saturday night. Had dinner upstairs, which was much quieter. Food was good and service was as well. I felt there was not enough room on the 2 person table for 2 stone grills. Was difficult trying to find a spot to keep our plates to eat off of as the stone grills took up all the space.

The Guinness Pie was absolutely extraordinary, more than just amazing, it was a culinary masterpiece. The pastry, in particular, was out of this world, flaky, buttery, and perfectly baked, so delicious that it was almost too good to be true. Every bite was a delightful explosion of flavors and textures that left me craving more. The service was impeccable, attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that every need was met with a warm smile and prompt care. As for the atmosphere, it was simply the best, cozy yet lively, with a welcoming vibe that made the entire experience incredibly enjoyable and memorable. This place truly knows how to impress on every level. I must also mention the Boozy Hot Chocolate, it is an exceptional creation that redefines perfection altogether.

Holidaying from Australia and looking for a Pub meal we stumbled upon the Pub. Very friendly staff. Cold drinks and the food was delicious. I had the ol favourite Chicken Schnitzel with gravy. It was fresh, hot and very yummy. My wife had the house Guinness pie with mash potatoes. She raved about how delicious it was. Very good servings as well.

Came for the black pudding but stayed for the rest. Brilliant Irish pub as authentic as you get here in NZ. Not many in Queenstown but these guys have the Guinness on tap as you’d expect. Bonus for having breakfast served till 5pm. But equally a brilliant menu through out the day and night.

Gorgeous place in Queenstown on the lake the lovely Rochelle and Sophie looked after us, the eggs Benny were perfectly good with smoked salmon and great coffee. Very popular we were travelling from OS looks like the locals place to be and why not qith the views, delicious food and people so friendly. Thank you top spot👏👏❤️

Great location and view! I found the food just fine, but the service and location was outstanding being right on the water and receiving very complementary service. The cappuccino was well done, but the avocado for the avocado toast tasted a bit packaged. Overall good experience though for a touristy area. The donut was one of the better pastries I’ve had in a long time. They mixed jam with a house whip cream and stuffed it in a cinnamon sugar donut. It was light and so good without being too sweet.

Lakefront drinks on the gravel beach in the cool spring sunshine. Can’t beat that really. A cold pint and a pear soda plus a bowl of chips. Perfect early evening little snack. Friendly staff and good table service.

Quite expensive, a lot like the rest of eating out places in QT, but… “proper” good food and matcha… yes matcha probably the best in Queenstown I’d say anyway. We walked in and luckily snagged a seat, (outdoor seating is not possible during or after wet weather events), regardless I’d recommend calling up before hand, you can tell it’s a popular destination, with the quality of food getting dished out it’s not hard to see why.

Purchased kale salad and 2 seafood chowders. Not quite a 4 or 5 star as the foods a bit basic to what we're used to. Was our quick breaky before skiing. My salad was kale, dressing, cheese and bread bits (croutons). The chowder is broth not stewed. Looks good though doesn't it!

Had afternoon tea here. Had a Baked honey Camembert with fruit toast. It's very delicious. Enjoyed the lakeside mountain view!

It's a nice spot to grab a coffee, though the brew is a bit on the weak side. The atmosphere is great, and the views are fantastic, but there's room for improvement in the service. If you only order coffee, you'll be repeatedly encouraged to add food to your order. In my experience, I prefer to stick with my mild coffee.☕️

We visited NEST for a special anniversary dinner during our holiday in New Zealand. My partner had requested a window table when booking to surprise me, but upon arrival we were initially seated in the middle of the room, even though window tables were available. After asking, we were moved, but it slightly tinged the experience. On the bright side, our desserts had a special “Happy Anniversary” message, which was thoughtful—so the staff had clearly seen the note in our booking (makes you wonder!). Overall, the food was very tasty with lots of attention to detail. Portions were small-scale, but that was expected and perfectly fine given the quality. The atmosphere was pleasant, though not quite as grand as we had hoped.

I forgot to review last June so here is my belated review!! We went for my partner and I’s anniversary, and were blown away. The setting is absolutely beautiful. We were sadly there after sunset so didn’t see what it is like during the day/sunset but definitely looks like it would be worth catering your booking time to this. We did the 3 course menu and were absolutely amazed by the food!! The flavours were inventive and truly luxurious. The drinks menu was great, and the service was wonderful. They brought us a lil anniversary dessert which made it so special for us. As you can tell, this was over a year ago and I still remember so many details. It was the perfect romantic place for an intimate dinner!! Thank you NEST. We have recommended to friends and intend to come back!

We stayed at Kamana Lakehouse and had a dinner reservation at The Nest, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we were seated, we were greeted with genuine warmth, and our waitresses Sarah and Harriet were an absolute delight. Both of them were attentive, kind, and welcoming, striking the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness that made us feel so well taken care of. The food was outstanding – every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. We decided on the wine pairing, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of the night. Each wine matched the dishes perfectly and really elevated the entire dining experience. And of course, having all of this with the breathtaking view of the lake made the evening unforgettable. It’s rare to find a place where the service, food, wine, and setting all come together so seamlessly, but The Nest truly delivered. A night we’ll always remember with gratitude to Sarah and Harriet for making it so special.

We celebrated part of our honeymoon in Queenstown and chose the Degustation Menu at Nest Kitchen and Bar. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the team made us feel so welcome throughout the evening. We paired the menu with the wine pairing, which was a perfect match and introduced us to some new favourites we’ll definitely be buying again. Nest made our honeymoon celebration truly special, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We came for my brother’s 60th as a small, family group and could not have found a more perfect venue. The food was delectable, service outstanding and very patient and unhurried with my elderly parents ( also unusually good acoustics) . We did the wine pairing and thanks to the great sommelier, this was a highlight. Not to mention the views- so lovely even on a drizzly evening. Best night out and value for money in a decade!!

**Best dining experience I've had in New Zealand** Expectations where high going here after their recent naming as the inaugural winner of the ‘One of a Kind’ in the world category at the Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Restaurants. BUT THEY LIVED UP TO THE HYPE 100%! All the dishes where super interesting and we where blown away by the creativity and the complexity of each dish. I highly recommend you try the "expanded" menu with the chefs little surprises (one of these took the best dish of the night unanimously). The staff was very pleasant to interact with and we really enjoyed our evening. Thank you for a great experience and I would highly recommend anybody reading this to try this place!

Went here for dinner and breakfast. Food was great👍 view was great! Come here for birthday celebration but nothing special. The price is not cheap, maybe a little bit care for the customer can attract more customers.

Monteith’s Brewery is a fantastic spot to visit, even if you’re not there for the drinks. The food was excellent - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There’s a great variety on the menu, and everything we tried was cooked perfectly. The location is lovely, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for both families and groups of friends. It’s a great place to unwind, enjoy a good meal, and take in the surroundings. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area - it’s a memorable experience for the food and setting alone!

The best place to eat in Greymouth without doubt. It's colourful and lively and every dish we've tried was excellent. The service is prompt, this visit was a highlight of our West Coast visit.

My wife and I did the Monteith's Brewery Tour and stayed on afterwards for a meal. The tour was very good. It was interesting to learn about the history of the brewery, and it was great to get to pour and taste some of the beers. Our guide was really entertaining and knowledgeable too, which made the experience even better. The meal afterwards was first-class. The service was spot-on, and the food was excellent. Thank you Monteith's for such a great experience...on such a wet and windy day in Greymouth :)

It takes a lot for me to give a bad review. But the Chicken Parma I had was enough to do it. The staff were all lovely and the atmosphere is nice but the food was by far the worst chicken Parma I’ve ever had anywhere. It was more like a chicken nugget Parma. (Others I saw were even smaller) Leaving the tiny size out of it there wasn’t much chicken actually in the portion either. The chips also were cold and not fully cooked. I saw others from different table equally disappointed with the measly portion received, as well as others who I dined with. I got this on special so paid for the meal but if I got that meal on full price I would’ve walked out.

Our Kiwi roadtrip brought us to Queenstown, the adventure capital of the South Island, making it the most popular tourist place in NZ & possibly the most expensive! What a pleasure it was to come across 1876! Recommended by a friend, it's a classic old building, formerly the Court House, including the old holding cell which is now a store, & the Judges bench which hides some fridges! It is roomy & open inside with interesting decor, Kiwi ferns hanging from the roof for example. Staff are super friendly & very efficient. There is a large outside terrace at the front which has gas heaters (necessary this time of year), great for people watching as it faces onto the street. They even have live music every night which kicks off early on the terrace. But the big winner here is the beer. Amazing value for a busy tourist town like Queenstown. Just $11for a pint Macs Apparition Hazy IPA is a great deal. It brought us back 2 nights running & clearly many others too. It seems to be a bar for everybody with the clientele being a mix of backpackers, skiers, tourists, & local working folk young & old. It's really something when you find a place this cool & such good value in a tourist city like Queenstown. Highly recommended

Amazing amazing restaurant! If you’re in Queenstown, I would not miss visiting 1876. They had live music last Friday night, and all the tables were full. We were happy to wait, but the kind staff moved a table outside for us which was wonderful because we could join in on the fun and vibrant atmosphere. The food was delicious - we had the steak and fajita. Great experience, highly recommend and will definitely plan to return if I’m in Queenstown again.

We came here for dinner with a group of 9 on Saturday night, and honestly had such a great time. There was live music until 8pm and outdoor heaters that kept us cozy and warm. Max looked after our table and he was awesome, super friendly and on the ball. The food was so good, every single dish hit the spot. Big shoutout to the chef! My steak was cooked perfectly. Drinks were great too, everyone found something they liked. All up a great night with great food, great service, and a great vibe. Would definitely come back!

We're still getting used to the very odd dining setup in NZ. There is no table service anywhere we've been, other than a very high-end restaurant. Other than that inconvenience, the bartender was really friendly, as were the runners. If you're looking for vegan and vegetarian options, there are more here than most places. Drinks were okay, happy hour prices are good. Nice outside patio. The historic building is fantastic!

Really nice nz beer and 15 dollars special food. We asked the bartender about the local beer recommended. He has a super friendly personality and the recommendation is also very suitable for me and my partner. This is really the most worthwhile bar in Queenstown.

An amazing spot to have a beer or cocktail with an unobstructed view of the harbour and mountains beyond. Quick and friendly service bringing drinks to your table. Perky's also supports other local eateries by allowing you to bring your own food onboard (Fergburger comes to mind), as long as you get a drink (very reasonable). What an excellent spot to watch the day go by with a drink in hand!

What an amazing bar! Great views of the lake and surrounding mountains plus you might spot an adorable Labrador going for a boat ride. The staff here are more than happy to start a tab and will bring your cocktails to you wherever you are on deck. Highly recommended way to spend the afternoon. Amazing espresso martini!

The food here is amazing. Some really nice options from your classic burgers to some more experimental dishes. The chicken burger had beautiful fried chicken with a great balance of crispy coating and lovely moist chicken. The goats' cheese croquettes are a must-have if you love cheese. The atmosphere is really good as it combines a micro brewery feel with an amazing variety of beers and a relaxed restaurant serving delicious food. It can get pretty busy, so if you are looking for food, I would recommend booking a table in advance

We booked a tasting flight, from the moment we walked into the tap room the atmosphere was electric. Beautifully laid out and the decor was well thought out and transported you into another world. Our host taking us through the tasting flight was knowledgeable, we asked a lot of questions and she was able to answer them all and had an engaging personality. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The beers were fantastic and the atmosphere continued as more and more people rolled in. Didn’t try any food, but we could see the quality matched their service from scanning plated food coming out. Excellent facilities and they even had awesome merch. Will be back again and again!!

An absolute 💯 amazing experience here. I came to eat at the restaurant for lunch and was impressed with the service, the speed the food came out and the food itself! I ordered the Korean chicken burger which was nice but a little too watery with kimchi, the thrice cooked fries (amazing) and brisket (amazing). The beers are also very nice! There's also a gift store so you can buy tee shirts, caps and beers. I'd highly recommend this place for tourists and locals. It's decently priced too especially given the quality of the food which I'd say was the best food in the South Island.

Emerson’s was an amazing experience for me and it was possible because of Aidean, even though the brewery tour was not available for my timings he gave me the best beer experience possible had a lovely chat with him regarding beers and food was amazing as well. Overall had a great time!

The beer was nice but the fries were the worst I have had. I would say double cooked because they came very quickly and they looked like the dregs from the vat. Obviously don't care because students wouldn't care what they ate. If you are going to cook chips make them a uniform size and use clean oil and only cook once. Otherwise the bar is good

Had a really interesting tour of the brewery and learned so much about the history of Emerson’s and the process of brewing all the different beers. Thibault (our tour guide) was absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable - he could answer all our annoying questions about everything! They also got us a table straight away afterwards so we could get some food even though we hadn’t reserved it - great service, thank you all

The beer is delicious and reasonably priced, the thrice cooked chips are delicious and also reasonably priced. I’ll definitely come back again and again. That’s how you build a loyal customer base.

So glad we happened upon this restaurant. We came for a late lunch and it’s winter so v uncrowded. Sat at window inside but still had an excellent view of the river, walkway, and Bridge of Remembrance. The food and ambiance give a pub vibe. I had a snapper “fish burger” because it sounded interesting. It was really just a fried fish sandwich which was fine. My husband had the lamb salad which was also fine. I’d order differently in retrospect. The service was great.

Dropped in here for a beer and a couple of chicken tonics on the way to a restaurant on a Wednesday night. Reasonably busy on the outside sitting and bit cold for most of us so we set in a side. Pasta for very helpful in guiding us through the number of beers they have over 30 on tap and they gave us through the local to the west coast and back. Didn't try the food or eating but the plates don't like good quality high-end barfood.

Great selection of NZ craft beers as the name would suggest. Well priced I found it cheaper than a lot of other bars around here. Nice view from the verandah way less pretentious than surrounding establishments.

We hosted my 21st with Craft Embassy and WOW! I cannot recommend enough! The staff were so lovely and the food was incredible. I asked for some gluten free signs and they were so happy to accommodate it for me. There were regular check ins during the night to check everything was okay. Massive shout out to Seth for answering all my questions and making sure everything was ready for us and Matt who helped us during the night. You guys were amazing and really helped take the stress off of me so I could enjoy the night. If you are thinking of hosting an event choose Craft Embassy!! We can’t wait to book with them again!

Thank you, Craft Embassy, for hosting a fabulous 50th birthday celebration in your terrace function room! The space is lovely – far from a typical function room, it felt warm, cozy and inviting. The staff was outstanding, attentive and friendly. From helping us bring in the birthday cake to ensuring everything ran smoothly, we were able to enjoy a fun and stress-free night. We were originally lured in by the great beer selection, but the venue and the staff will have us returning over and over again. Thank you so much!

I booked the Glasshouse function room for a private party. The food selection was great and the crew working were really helpful. Of course the beverage selection was great too. Overall the function team were great to work with and helped create an epic event!!

A perfect evening was spent here, sitting inside but overlooking the patio. Great service and delicious beers, I'm bummed that I wasn't hungry enough to eat more than a plate of fries from the appetizer menu. Super hot and fresh, they were awesome with a tomato dip (almost ketchup) and a spicy aioli (almost mayonnaise). Beers? Oh, the pilsner was excellent. I had two of them with my laptop as I worked out the plan for picking up the rental car and driving to Blenheim tomorrow.

We chose and came to a seafood restaurant for some crayfish only to be told there was none. It was listed as a main on their menu and there was no mention on the website or anywhere that there is no crayfish. Very disappointed. Ordered oysters, snapper and mussels. Oysters were great. Snapper and mussels were overcooked. Taste was OK but the texture was rubbery because of overcooking. The service staff were great though. Even though we were clearly disappointed they came with a smile. We found a hair in the mussels and told the wait staff. They apologised and told the kitchen and the reaction from the kitchen was, is it a short of long hair? All said within earshot of us. They later came back to say it was a hair from the mussel. Overall, very very underwhelmed by the food and selection especially with the high price. Never again.

Massively overpriced for what it is. I ordered the lamb shank, tasted good but just abit plain? No sprigs of herbs for example for taste or decor and veg was just plain boiled. Tiny dessert was nice although not worth $18. Staff are great, although they did forget to bring out the water at the beginning and then the dessert menu until I asked again. Overall wouldn’t come back.

We ordered the ribeye steak which came with potato that were bland and a choice of sauce which we chose red wine jus - this meal was delicious but a let down with the potatoes. We also ordered the tuna tartare and it was delicious just how we expect it to be. The quantity was low so not filling. Would suggest to order entree main and dessert but this would be expensive. I would not return but would suggest this restaurant for anyone who wants to celebrate a special day or occasion. Customer service was awesome and the ambience was good.

Absolutely lovely venue! Will be back everytrip to Queenstown 😍 Food: Delicious and not overpriced. Drinks: happy hour $12.50 cocktails...you can't go wrong! Felipe made the best Pina Colada's in Queenstown strong and delicious 😋 Staff: friendly helpful and cool when under the happy hour pressure! My overall fav was the bloody Mary shooters with an Oyster, so darn good! Thanks Boardwalk! Xx

Meals were on the smaller side but were very nice. Very nice place and shout out to the cute French waiter. Would recommend and we would return next time.

Me and my partner very much enjoyed our dinner here at boardwalk. The service was amazing. Very kind staff, straight away asked us if we had any food allergies which I thought was excellent. Despite there were a few tables busy with people the food came very quickly and it was still an amazing set restaurant. The food was incredible. A lovely time all round!

We visited this place to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, and our waitress was attentive. The menu looked appealing, so we ended up ordering quite a lot. We asked for everything to be served at once, which we later regretted. Unfortunately, the steak came out cold, overly salty, and tough — honestly, it felt like chewing rubber. The garlic bread was also too salty, and the mac and cheese for my daughter was overcooked, with the pasta sticking together. She didn’t even finish it. The only saving grace of the night was the seafood chowder — flavorful and comforting, it helped balance out the saltiness of everything else. I’d definitely say yes to the chowder, but a hard pass on the steak, garlic bread, crayfish, and mac and cheese. Considering the price and the quality of the food, it wasn’t the best place to celebrate a birthday.

Cozy casino with a decent range of slot machines 🎰. Staff were nice and friendly.

Very small but still fun casino. Ensure you have your passport as you are required to sign up to enter. Not a lot of machines for a casino but still a good time. Not impressed with the staff training as when we were on a table I asked to do a bet and was advised that I was incorrect then when a new staff took over he allowed me so the knowledge is lacking it seems.

The place is small, grimy and tired. Entry procedures are now challenging for first time visitors as you have to be identified on the way in via photo ID. They have scanning processes for this, but they wouldn't work for me, so mine had to be processed manually, which was a bit of a chore (I appreciate this is likely a NZ govt requirement, but Sky need to improve their processes). Table banter and staff were good, and having a small win helps.

A truly disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was asked several times to remove my cap — even though it was clean and discreet — while other guests were wearing beanies or shorts with boots, and no one said anything to them. I was wearing dress pants, so I was appropriately dressed. It was impossible to play peacefully: every time I sat down at a slot machine, a staff member immediately jumped on me to make me insert my card and enter the code. (It happened several times — I assume it’s part of their internal procedures.) It was incredibly stressful when I just wanted to enjoy myself. Without the casino card, you simply can’t play — a complete waste of time. I was told that my Auckland casino card would work here, but in the end, it didn’t. I had to get a new card, break a $50 bill into smaller change, and even fill out a form… So many unnecessary complications. The casino itself is tiny, there isn’t even an electronic blackjack machine, and the staff is constantly watching your every move. I even got told off just for taking out my phone to snap a photo of the entrance hall. Honestly, you feel watched the entire time. The only positive point: one free drink thanks to the card. But honestly, it’s the worst casino I’ve ever been to. I do not recommend it at all.

Bit small which is per the course of a small town vibe would've been better if situated closer to the lake with great views abit out of the town center. Plenty of machines, but tables were always full and when your just being vocal of how your hands are going the dealer gets lippy and offended which is uncalled for

The casino will happily take your bet on perfect pairs blackjack but will then only tell you when you win that the bet isn't valid because you aren't betting a box as well. Bad practice doesn't check or let you know will let you bet illegally without telling you until you win then dont pay

What an awesome place. Great vibes and amazing selection on tap. We got a tasting paddle which allowed us to narrow down our faves. Great choice of indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. There were food trucks outside and we had a selection of food from The Smoke and Pickle which tasted amazing. The kids enjoyed the atmosphere they want to go back.

Dropped into Frankton and had a drink with food at the brewery. What an awesome treat and enjoyable evening. Staff were so nice and welcoming. Food was from the two food trailers outside. And it was such a treat, I haven’t tasted good tasty, flavoured snack meals in such a while. Great evening out. So enjoyable, for a big group as well.

Altitude is located about a 15-minute drive from Queenstown at the marina. The brewery was originally there “on its own” but over the years, the marina has grown to have a variety of places to eat and drink. The brewery also has a couple of Food Trucks that are on a kind of rotating schedule. Details are available on the brewery website or just rock up and be “food truck surprised!” 😉 The taproom itself is quite small but there is undercover seating outside which would be lovely on a sunny day. Considering the size of the brewery, they produce quite a few beers throughout the year. I had 4 tastings and for me, the “Single Track Mind” Red IPA was the standout. I purchased a few to take home, including the Irish Stout, which I can’t wait to try. It’s also dog friendly but must be kept on a leash. Kids are welcome but it is a working brewery so they can’t wander around. That being said, a couple of families were there and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Staff are welcoming and friendly and only too happy to explain the variety of beers on tap.

Altitude Brewing in Frankton is a gem of a spot. Set beside the lake with views of the mountains and marina, it combines a relaxed, scenic setting with the energy of a true Hackney Wick–style taproom. The beer selection is excellent, the food trucks serve outstanding fare, and there’s plenty of seating both indoors and out. A perfect place to linger over a pint and take in the view.

Altitude Brewing quickly became one of our favourite stops during our ten days in Queenstown. It does get busy, but that just shows how good it is. The beer is fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and the service from both the bar and the food trucks was spot on. If you happen to get your hands on a Zeus Skis in Jeans West Coast IPA, you are in for a treat..easily one of the best beers we had on the trip. A great spot to spend an afternoon crushing delicious brews and amazing food from both food trucks out front.

Awesome Beer, really loved the Scenic Route NZIPA. Great location, beautiful view, plenty of tables. Friendly staff! Food trucks were fantastic. ✅ ✅ ✅

What an awesome vibe this tap room has! The tunes were great, plenty of seating, great selection of drinks, and a lovely view. Personal favourite was the sled dog. Would definitely recommend for all your hydration needs ;)

This is a joint for our weekly pub quiz. The host is friendly and funny. Such an inviting atmosphere with casual seating and rustic looking décor. Accompanied by great bites from the food truck and a variety of selections from locally made craft beer. Lots of parking spaces from the entrance off Bealey Ave. Highly recommended+++

As a Hophead I was happy to see at least two IPAs on tap. Went on a Friday around noon. As a visitor to Christchurch I wish everyday was a Noon opening. Really great vibe here close by. Very tempted by the food truck. Looked great. Grab a couch and relax!

A great brewery with a chill vibe. The brewery has indoor and outdoor space with plenty of seating inside and outside. Several beers to choose from. Unfortunately my son and I arrived just before closing, but we were able to enjoy the scene while I enjoyed an IPA.

Been meaning to come to Two Thumb for a while and finally stopped in for a tasty beer. I love their kinda vibe - functioning brewery in a warehouse, that has a bar, seating, corner for a band, and some outdoor crates made into seats and tables. There's a food truck too (but I didn't buy food on this occasion). The staff were friendly and there was even a cute wee dog wandering round saying hello. For a super casual place right in town, Two Thumb on Manchester is perf.

Yum, yum, yum! I love a good stout and Two Thumb knows how to make one amongst all its other excellent beers on offer.The platters are excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It's a must to visit here and then you will find yourself coming back time and time again. Raising a big Two Thumbs!!

What a beautiful place! There are plenty of shops, though I have to admit it's generally on the pricier side. Still, I loved browsing and admiring the stunning architecture. The staff I encountered were all very friendly, and the car park has plenty of space.

Indoor and outdoor mall of interesting shops. Beautiful building with stained glass and wood. Some wonderful finds. Take time to stroll and browse - don’t miss HAPA for imaginative items from local creators. Tea room, used-clothing store, gift shops, jewellery, old-fashioned apothecary... There’s also a cinema. Fabric shops and Bellbird Bakery are among the Boardwalk tenants. Bellbird has some good vegan options.

This was a beautiful spot. It was great to see the old building transformed with new shops — it creates a special mood and unique vibe. There are plenty of shops and cafés, which made it a perfect place to spend time with my wife. I’ll definitely be going back regularly.

I loved The Tannery. There are so many great little shops, and it's such a beautiful shopping centre, and very different to your typical mall. The cinema has great service, and the other shops are so unique. For example, there's an apothecary, a sewing shop, a 2nd-hand book library, a 2nd-hand clothes store, and many more! Can't wait to go back.

Really lovely spot, it is so beautiful inside, just nice to walk inside. There are so many lovely shops that I would have bought so much if I could! Amazing clothing shops and homeware shops (one had such lovely pottery). There is also a great Mediterranean shop. Great parking. Really glad I found out about this place for leaving Christchurch !

Love this place - cool shops - beautiful building. One thing I do think though is there aren’t any real ‘stand out’ places for lunch and this lets the place down. I often leave earlier than I would like as I am hungry and nothing there is that great. But great wee shopping centre to visit.

Lovely to visit here. Some nice places to stop for lunch or afternoon tea. Great movie theatre. And some nice little shops.

A really lovely experience to sit outdoors and watch the world go by with super view of the lake ajao. Good much needed shade to escape the sun rays too. Great staff and good food. The steam boat experience was so worth doing also.
