Went early at 7+ and had a seat easily. Became crowded shortly after. The menu on the board are better items than the ones on the menu. Ordered the scallop casserole which was very good which had potatoes as the base. Had to ask for bread from the server who totally missed me out. The decor is made up of many old items from the past. Tips only in cash which the server will remind u.

The best and most authentic Patagonian restaurant in South. Perfect food, attention and ambience. Their food selection is incredible, so many authentic dishis to choose from. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again. A true taste of Ushuaia 🇦🇷

The food was really good and the service was even better. The waitress that served us spoke english and portuguese perfectly, something I haven’t seen in this trip to patagonia. She was extremely kind and helpful. The building is also beautiful ❤️ we jad the risotto al mar and the tagliatelle al mar and both dishes were teally good

I liked this place, it's very original because of the interior but the food wasn't that tasty. My friend had lamb ravioli and I had steak of pork with sweet potatoes, which were only like 3 pieces. I would expect a bit more. Moreover I think it's worth visiting.

Great place in terms of appearance. Almost looks like a museum. We only had 2 coffees and 2 cakes. The coffees were fine. The cakes were ok if not a bit dry. The layer cake with dulce de leche was actually better the next day. Huge portions. Definitely worth it for the place and the atmosphere.

Built in 1906, probably one of the oldest general store in Ushuaia. Had a wonderful seafood risotto and the specialty coffee Ramos Generales. Should have split the risotto to leave room for dessert. The waitress Ayelen was excellent!

We spent a lot of hours here for both breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is delightful, the interior interesting and the service excellent. The tarts we had for breakfast were top of the line and beautifully made. Lunch was hearty, well-portioned and perfect for the cold weather. The scallop casserole deserves a special mention - so smooth and soft and fragrant, maybe the best scallops we've ever had. They offer a wonderful and wide selection of wines. This place is a jewel of Ushuaia and not to be missed! A true haven.

We sat at the bar and ordered a croissant, fries to share, a margarita and a caiparinha. The bartender took 10 minutes to make the 2 drinks. He’d start, then start chatting or do something else then come back and continue. In the end, he made my caiparinha with lemons instead of lime and it was shaken. I’m so confused. It doesn’t even taste right. The croissant was stale - I suspect it has been sitting there all day or days. The fries arrived 20 minutes after we ordered it. It is 6pm on a Thursday and the bar is empty. I would not recommend this bar at all.

First meal very good and well presented chicken quesadillas. The woman at the next table had French toast it too was presented well and looked yummy. So I came back the next day for breakfast. Yep it was as good as it looked.

Very good service. I liked their Napolitan schnitzel. We shared this dish. I had Mate cocido the herb infusion typical of Argentina. Vety good alfajores.

Great service, good atmosphere, food tastes good but somewhat plain. I ordered their speciality Tante Sara schnitzel and this was one of the largest single servings I ever eat. My partner ordered continental breakfast and was disappointed with taste and size of the portion.

There isn't anything special about this place, but I'd say the price is reasonable and the food wouldn't disppoint you. I'd recommend this place as a brunch or a place to grab a quick bite before starting your tour day! Tips: Downstairs may get pretty busy. If you enjoy a quiet tea time, I'd consider finding a table in the second floor.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and it was nice. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling too well so I actually didn't eat much of my food, but I ordered a lemonade and the burrito, both of which were solid. The lemonade is insanely pulpy, like it has more pulp than anything I've ever had in my life, but I liked it. Just a warning for those who aren't a fan of pulp. The burrito was good, but again I didn't eat much of it. The bread basket was also good.

The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is friendly. The shared appetizer for 2 unfortunately wasn't the best because there was too much cheese and everything was fried. A mix of that and something fresh would have been better. It's not expensive compared to the other restaurants in the city centre.

It was my favorite place to go in Ushuaia during my 10 days stay. It has amazing views, the food is delicious and the price is fair! What else can you ask for??? Oh, and you might want to skip appetizers as the plates are big enough. Excellent house wine for 6000 pesos.

Delicioso !! We had a great dinner here and the black cod was so good. This was the first time we had the crab here in town so we can’t compare but its not too bad. The staff was great and can’t be anymore friendlier. They have two location and this is by the water just on the skirt of the town. Recommended !

Cute place right on the water. Lovely stone and wood interior with a large open fireplace kept crackling. Our waitress was friendly. Unfortunately it is dark before most people eat dinner so we just enjoyed a bit of the lit water just below our window table. The merluza (I think it’s cod but the menu calls it black hake) was fresh, delicious and well cooked. We opted for the cetolla (they call it king crab but it’s not nearly the size of king crab I’ve had before) and at ARG18,000 pesos we didn’t love it. The squid appetizer was fresh and delicious, nicely fried. The accompanying sauces for the crab and the squid were quite ordinary, should be rethought. You get a nice basket of bread with a soft cream cheese blend with onions and garlic. If you drive, this is on the outskirts of town and the entrance for parking comes before the restaurant so drive slowly and look ahead. Very narrow parking area in front.

We had an amazing meal here on a Sunday evening. Since it was early we were the only people in the restaurant we had very attentive service. Food was very high quality and I especially loved the black risotto. The King Crab is exquisite and I highly encourage everyone to at least order the appetizer! The views are incredible and we even managed to see a rainbow come down across the Beagle Channel. I hope everyone should be so lucky!

The view is beautiful and the service is great. The food was good, but my husband's fish came with bricks of butter instead of orange slices. Overall I would recommend trying this restaurant!

Convenient to the start of the trail up to Martial Glacier (and don’t miss the woodland trails just beneath it) and the taxi stand, this is a friendly place to fuel up before a hike or decompress after one. They speak some English and accept credit cards. Good food and if you are interested in birds, keep an eye on the feeder through the window—you might spot a new species right here!

Nice place to stop after a long or short trip from the Glaciar Martial. The place its amazing, the cakes were ok, not amazing like the place itself.

The dessert we ordered was good! The view is incredible, especially with snow!!! One bad thing about it is that they do not have wifi. When we went it was crowded so one of us had to give them our identity card while we waited. We waited around 15-20min to enter.

This is an unmissable place on your trip to Ushauia! What a gorgeous and super cute Tea house! The staff were friendly, the choices of tea was fantastic and the cakes all looked delicious. It gets busy so I would recommend getting there at a quieter time. Such an adorable place, would highly recommend! Was easy to reach via Uber and then there are plenty taxi’s outside to take you back to town.

We had the croissants or media lunas filled with ham and cheese and they were to die for!!! I had a mochachino with Nutella and was delicious, really good!! Service was good.

What a great surprise to have that beautiful spot right at the bottom of the glacial hike. Soup was fresh and delicious, we had tea and for dessert I might have had the best cheesecake I ever tried in my life. Delightful.

Cozy tea house in the mountains. The tea is amazing and so are all the rest of the pastries. There is some wait at the door but nothing too serious. There are multiple trails to get up there and back down trekking and trails tht keep going up if you want to use it as a stopover in a longer hike. The place is nice if a bit pricey.

We went in for drinks but decided to have a bite as well. The prices are very steep. During happy hour a cocktail costs 15k+. The food also isn’t cheap. But we figured, if it’s good it’s worth the price. Unfortunately, the price was not justified. My pasta was overcooked and my partners Schnitzel was Lamb and not very good either.

Nice atmosphere but prices are very high and when compared to the mediocre food, it doesn’t make much sense. The meal my husband ordered was on promotion but the bill came out as full price. When my husband asked the waiter about this, the first man was very kind about it but the second man that came out was petulant and cranky about it. I do not recommend!

Awful. Do not go there unless you want to be mistreated and pay loads of money for horrible food. Don’t fall for the good exchange rate sign at the door, it is still one of the most expensive places in Ushuaia.

Food is ok. I went in as a tourist and love history but the king crab dish is served cold and no where on the English menu did it mentioned that. In Argentina, they don't give you tap water... everything is bottled or what not so I wasn't surprised of paying for my water. They gave you nice bread and side dishes as most ethnic places do. I tried my best to figure out how to eat it and if one is a dipping sauce or what not. Check out this restaurant once for the decor and the notes from people around the world once and you seriously don't need to come back. It made me feel uncomfortable as a tourist when they mentioned tip knowing I am not a local. They are trying to bank off tourist from America of which tipping is the norm.

I ordered a medium cooked steak with fries. But they brought me extremely rare not meat %75 percentage tendonms, you can't eat that. All fries are almost overcooked, fries must be golden color not brown or black. I didn't continue my plate and asked for the cheque. I paid 5500 for all the things together with Sprite. This is very expensive, it may be expensive but they must make me like WORTH IT. After I paid, I complaint and showed the waitress the breathing meat and fries. She agrees me and took the money. This bar is NOT IDEAL. Please go and eat in another place.

Couldn’t eat it. Even the fries were soggy. I could tell the fries were cold and they just added this gross cheese crap on top and shipped it out of the kitchen to me. Price for it was outrageous. My pictures of the meal are what was provided and what I couldn’t eat because I would have gotten sick if I had more.

I love the atmosphere of this bar and restaurant. I sat outside and enjoyed a beer in the afternoon, and walked in to find a covered porch, and then a large space inside with private party room, and then booth, table and bar seating. Rustic, clean and comfy. I didn't get to eat, but the atmosphere is so inviting and warm I'd definitely come back here. Enjoy!

I normally don't write reviews, but after this experience I have to. If you decide to go here, please don't make the same mistake I did and don't order the calamari salad. Even though it's on the current specials menu. The calamari is not well prepared, it's tough and dry. The salad has no flavor. There's a chopped lettuce, red cabbage and pickled tomatoes in oil on the plate. It doesn't make sense and they charge 22,000 ARS for it and we waited quite a long time for the food. The service is lukewarm in its approach, they didn't even come to clear the plates. I'm giving one star for the Pilsner beer

We had a fun time here for drinks and dinner! The servers were nice and attentive, there was good 80s/90s music playing, and the food and drinks were pretty good. The Thai beef tiradito and the apple crumble with malbec syrup were amazing, and the Frog burger was great. We also got the nachos with pulled pork on top, which were good initially, until we ate all the pulled pork off the top, and there were still a bunch of soggy chips underneath that went uneaten.

Well, it’s your basic Hard Rock. I was there early by local standards and it was pretty empty. Very pricy, though everything in Ushuaia is. I ordered the fajitas. Argentina is know for its beef but this meat was tough. These fajitas wouldn’t fly in the U.S.

Hard Rock Cafe. Is always an amazing experience. The food wasn't bad.. the only thing is that. It comes with fries.. and was a little overcooked. The waiter Charlie is a nice asset to the environment. Good energy, good soul.

We ordered a lot of food that day starting with boneless chicken (tupelo chicken tenders), chicken wings, nachos, burgers🍔. Drinks - all sorts of fancy cocktails 🍸. Long Island ice tea. Gold Ron, whisky, mojito, etc. The food is amazing. The service is quite fast compared to other restaurants. Waiters are good enough to understand English. The ambiance is good and there is a big seating area. We did not have to wait to get the seat. So, prior booking may not be required. You could find all the American food options here and it was a decent experience.

Nice friendly bar in Ushuaia, pizzas are wonderful here and the atmosphere is lively. Being a travel focused town, they see people from all over the world so are very adept at making everyone feels welcomed. Location is inside a busy plaza with parking in the rear.

My partner and I arrived before 18:00 on a Saturday. It was clean and quiet. The decor is industrial but the wood makes it feel warmer. The men's restroom was particularly imaginative (see urinal picture). Service was friendly and helpful to these non-Spanish speakers. There were about a half dozen beers on draft. We had Oshovia amber and Haku Erim which is a blond. Both were flavorful. My partner's Mussels were good and filled her. However there was no bread for soaking up the juices as is usual in the US. My basic cheese burger was more than filling. The fries were just ok.

We went here on 01.01.2024 because all other restaurants had long queues- the following showed why this restaurant wasn’t overly booked. The waitress was friendly, however we waited for almost 20 mins for our drinks to arrive and once they did one was missing. After another 20 mins we got some food- which turned out to be for our neighbors and after having been delivered to us got taken away again and served to our neighbors. The food that later on got delivered and actually turned out to be ours unfortunately was probably the worst I have ever tasted: Cesar salad without dressing, mozzarella sticks which tasked like they had been fried in old fat, fries which were flat and no flavor at all, the burger we sent directly back to the kitchen after one bite. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a dinner location for a nice evening out in Ushuaia.

Excellent food, good quality in the sound system, comfortable space, but over all the things , the service is the best of Ushuaia, it's sad that it is not a dancing place but it's my favorite place. For dancing of course there are other places very close.

This place is exactly what we were looking for in our visit to Ushuaia. They played fun music to help set the vibe. The staff was the friendliest we had our entire time in Argentina. They even recognized us when we came back a second time. The food was also phenomenal. I had the patty melt, and my husband had another burger on the menu. The burgers and fries were absolute perfection both times. The drinks were also great. I cannot stress enough how much you want to go to this place. The asado and lamb has been fantastic but tonight we went to see Cristian at Torrontes Wine House and what an amazing night we had! The food was incredibly delicious and the imagination applied to every dish was superb! 👌 The flavours were sooooo good and the local wines he recommended to go with each course were just as good 👍 We loved every minute from entree, to main course and finally desert. Cristain's attention to detail, service and culinary skills were impeccable. I highly recommend Torrontes Wine House to anyone in Ushuaia - either visitor or local!!!

Worst service and food we had in Argentina! We celebrated new years eve here, because we could not find any other place open and available in Ushuaia. The waiter told us no hamburgers are available, but two people who came in one hour later, were able to order two hamburgers... Apparantly those were the last two hamburgers, but I still don't understand why we could not order it (and why it is so difficult to have enough hamburgers in stock).
