Ramos Generales El Almacén is a charming café located on the waterfront, reminiscent of an old frontier general store. The atmosphere is filled with relics and antiques, including a hand-cranked Victrola phonograph. The menu offers a variety of options, from fresh-baked bread to scrumptious lemon croissants. Visitors can enjoy submarino, a mug of hot milk with a bar of dark chocolate, perfect alongside a panini.
an authentic place with 101 years of history, carrying the spirit of several generations. the atmosphere is cozy and warm. great service and very tasty food. the display case with desserts and baked goods makes you fall in love with it from the moment you enter. I highly recommend it to everyone, even if you are just passing through Ushuaia.

Went early at 7+ and had a seat easily. Became crowded shortly after. The menu on the board are better items than the ones on the menu. Ordered the scallop casserole which was very good which had potatoes as the base. Had to ask for bread from the server who totally missed me out. The decor is made up of many old items from the past. Tips only in cash which the server will remind u.

The best and most authentic Patagonian restaurant in South. Perfect food, attention and ambience. Their food selection is incredible, so many authentic dishis to choose from. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again. A true taste of Ushuaia 🇦🇷
Roberto C — Google review
The food was really good and the service was even better. The waitress that served us spoke english and portuguese perfectly, something I haven’t seen in this trip to patagonia. She was extremely kind and helpful. The building is also beautiful ❤️ we jad the risotto al mar and the tagliatelle al mar and both dishes were teally good
Liliana R — Google review
I liked this place, it's very original because of the interior but the food wasn't that tasty. My friend had lamb ravioli and I had steak of pork with sweet potatoes, which were only like 3 pieces. I would expect a bit more. Moreover I think it's worth visiting.
Adéla K — Google review
Great place in terms of appearance. Almost looks like a museum. We only had 2 coffees and 2 cakes. The coffees were fine. The cakes were ok if not a bit dry. The layer cake with dulce de leche was actually better the next day. Huge portions. Definitely worth it for the place and the atmosphere.
Yvan L — Google review
Built in 1906, probably one of the oldest general store in Ushuaia. Had a wonderful seafood risotto and the specialty coffee Ramos Generales. Should have split the risotto to leave room for dessert. The waitress Ayelen was excellent!
Kim H — Google review
We spent a lot of hours here for both breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is delightful, the interior interesting and the service excellent. The tarts we had for breakfast were top of the line and beautifully made. Lunch was hearty, well-portioned and perfect for the cold weather. The scallop casserole deserves a special mention - so smooth and soft and fragrant, maybe the best scallops we've ever had. They offer a wonderful and wide selection of wines. This place is a jewel of Ushuaia and not to be missed! A true haven.

Tante Sara - Café & Bar is a long-standing establishment in Ushuaia, known for its classic signature dishes that combine the best pasta with fresh seafood from the Beagle Channel. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and serves dishes throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner. Their menu features standout items like crab raviolins, black sea fruit spaghetti, and a bacon-wrapped trout dish. Tante Sara is also renowned for its pastry and confectionery offerings.
Tante Sara is a fantastic spot for a delicious meal in Ushuaia! I ordered a Croque Madame, fries with bacon, and a coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was perfectly balanced, the fries were crispy and flavorful, and the coffee was just what I needed for a relaxing break. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is fast and friendly, and the central location makes it a great choice. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and experience are absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
Fotograful C — Google review
We sat at the bar and ordered a croissant, fries to share, a margarita and a caiparinha. The bartender took 10 minutes to make the 2 drinks. He’d start, then start chatting or do something else then come back and continue. In the end, he made my caiparinha with lemons instead of lime and it was shaken. I’m so confused. It doesn’t even taste right. The croissant was stale - I suspect it has been sitting there all day or days. The fries arrived 20 minutes after we ordered it. It is 6pm on a Thursday and the bar is empty. I would not recommend this bar at all.

First meal very good and well presented chicken quesadillas. The woman at the next table had French toast it too was presented well and looked yummy. So I came back the next day for breakfast. Yep it was as good as it looked.

Very good service. I liked their Napolitan schnitzel. We shared this dish. I had Mate cocido the herb infusion typical of Argentina. Vety good alfajores.
Roberto M — Google review
Great service, good atmosphere, food tastes good but somewhat plain. I ordered their speciality Tante Sara schnitzel and this was one of the largest single servings I ever eat. My partner ordered continental breakfast and was disappointed with taste and size of the portion.
Andrii K — Google review
We had breakfast here 3 times. Each meal we had was amazing. The take away bakery items were great to fill us through the day as well. Great coffee, space and service.
Elle H — Google review
Looking for brunch or a quick bite with some coffee? This would be a good place to go. This coffee shop's location is great. It's located on the main tourist street and easily accessible. There isn't anything special about this place, but I'd say the price is reasonable and the food wouldn't disppoint you. I'd recommend this place as a brunch or a place to grab a quick bite before starting your tour day! Tips: Downstairs may get pretty busy. If you enjoy a quiet tea time, I'd consider finding a table in the second floor.
Jong W — Google review
Stopped by for a quick lunch and it was nice. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling too well so I actually didn't eat much of my food, but I ordered a lemonade and the burrito, both of which were solid. The lemonade is insanely pulpy, like it has more pulp than anything I've ever had in my life, but I liked it. Just a warning for those who aren't a fan of pulp. The burrito was good, but again I didn't eat much of it. The bread basket was also good.

If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable dining experience in Ushuaia, look no further than Kuar Resto Bar. Nestled just a short drive from the city center, this charming establishment boasts a rustic ambiance and breathtaking views of the Beagle Channel. The menu is a delightful fusion of local flavors, featuring everything from hearty casseroles to vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring there's something for everyone.
Dining by a fireplace looking at the sea. It's beautiful. The menu is easy to read and every dish was muy delicioso. They were the first place to make me an actual martini and not some guess of what it meant. Highly recommend. We went back another day after a cold day hiking to just have a drink by the fireplace. Check hours. To enter you have to get on service road by the crustacean processing plant.
Joanne C — Google review
The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is friendly. The shared appetizer for 2 unfortunately wasn't the best because there was too much cheese and everything was fried. A mix of that and something fresh would have been better. It's not expensive compared to the other restaurants in the city centre.
Antonia M — Google review
It was my favorite place to go in Ushuaia during my 10 days stay. It has amazing views, the food is delicious and the price is fair! What else can you ask for??? Oh, and you might want to skip appetizers as the plates are big enough. Excellent house wine for 6000 pesos.
Sheila H — Google review
Delicioso !! We had a great dinner here and the black cod was so good. This was the first time we had the crab here in town so we can’t compare but its not too bad. The staff was great and can’t be anymore friendlier. They have two location and this is by the water just on the skirt of the town. Recommended !
Jean N — Google review
Cute place right on the water. Lovely stone and wood interior with a large open fireplace kept crackling. Our waitress was friendly. Unfortunately it is dark before most people eat dinner so we just enjoyed a bit of the lit water just below our window table. The merluza (I think it’s cod but the menu calls it black hake) was fresh, delicious and well cooked. We opted for the cetolla (they call it king crab but it’s not nearly the size of king crab I’ve had before) and at ARG18,000 pesos we didn’t love it. The squid appetizer was fresh and delicious, nicely fried. The accompanying sauces for the crab and the squid were quite ordinary, should be rethought. You get a nice basket of bread with a soft cream cheese blend with onions and garlic. If you drive, this is on the outskirts of town and the entrance for parking comes before the restaurant so drive slowly and look ahead. Very narrow parking area in front.
ESB N — Google review
Decent bistro in the middle of Ushuaia town. The empanadas were yummy. Steamed fish was interesting.
A T — Google review
We had an amazing meal here on a Sunday evening. Since it was early we were the only people in the restaurant we had very attentive service. Food was very high quality and I especially loved the black risotto. The King Crab is exquisite and I highly encourage everyone to at least order the appetizer! The views are incredible and we even managed to see a rainbow come down across the Beagle Channel. I hope everyone should be so lucky!
R. A — Google review
The view is beautiful and the service is great. The food was good, but my husband's fish came with bricks of butter instead of orange slices. Overall I would recommend trying this restaurant!

Tea house
Nestled on the hillside at the beginning of the trail to Martial Glacier, La Cabaña Tea House offers a charming retreat with its cute decor and stunning surroundings. After a hike, visitors can relax and savor a delightful cup of tea paired with tempting homemade pastries or indulge in their unique submarine hot chocolate. Surrounded by lenga forests and mountain streams, this tea house provides an unparalleled experience for enjoying tea in the mountains.
Beautiful tea house. Gorgeous decorations on the inside, and perfect place to warm up after your hike. My husband and I were too eager to enjoy our coffee and cookies, so I missed the opportunity to snap a photo. Everything was good. All the desserts look excellent, the cakes look to die for!
Katlyn K — Google review
Convenient to the start of the trail up to Martial Glacier (and don’t miss the woodland trails just beneath it) and the taxi stand, this is a friendly place to fuel up before a hike or decompress after one. They speak some English and accept credit cards. Good food and if you are interested in birds, keep an eye on the feeder through the window—you might spot a new species right here!
Isaac L — Google review
Nice place to stop after a long or short trip from the Glaciar Martial. The place its amazing, the cakes were ok, not amazing like the place itself.
Omer H — Google review
The dessert we ordered was good! The view is incredible, especially with snow!!! One bad thing about it is that they do not have wifi. When we went it was crowded so one of us had to give them our identity card while we waited. We waited around 15-20min to enter.
Vanessa M — Google review
This is an unmissable place on your trip to Ushauia! What a gorgeous and super cute Tea house! The staff were friendly, the choices of tea was fantastic and the cakes all looked delicious. It gets busy so I would recommend getting there at a quieter time. Such an adorable place, would highly recommend! Was easy to reach via Uber and then there are plenty taxi’s outside to take you back to town.
Jenny T — Google review
We had the croissants or media lunas filled with ham and cheese and they were to die for!!! I had a mochachino with Nutella and was delicious, really good!! Service was good.
Gerardo S — Google review
What a great surprise to have that beautiful spot right at the bottom of the glacial hike. Soup was fresh and delicious, we had tea and for dessert I might have had the best cheesecake I ever tried in my life. Delightful.
Renata A — Google review
Cozy tea house in the mountains. The tea is amazing and so are all the rest of the pastries. There is some wait at the door but nothing too serious. There are multiple trails to get up there and back down trekking and trails tht keep going up if you want to use it as a stopover in a longer hike. The place is nice if a bit pricey.

If you find yourself wandering down San Martin Avenue, make sure to stop by Bar Ideal, the oldest bar in the city with a rich history spanning over 60 years. This classic establishment is not just a place to enjoy a drink; it also offers hearty dinner options that reflect its long-standing tradition. Nestled among shops and historical sites, Bar Ideal provides an inviting atmosphere where locals and tourists alike can soak in the charm of this iconic venue.
We only had a few beers. Good enough... a cool place to hang out. It's got character and a beat up sort of charm.
Robert Q — Google review
We went in for drinks but decided to have a bite as well. The prices are very steep. During happy hour a cocktail costs 15k+. The food also isn’t cheap. But we figured, if it’s good it’s worth the price. Unfortunately, the price was not justified. My pasta was overcooked and my partners Schnitzel was Lamb and not very good either.
San A — Google review
Nice atmosphere but prices are very high and when compared to the mediocre food, it doesn’t make much sense. The meal my husband ordered was on promotion but the bill came out as full price. When my husband asked the waiter about this, the first man was very kind about it but the second man that came out was petulant and cranky about it. I do not recommend!
Chonky — Google review
The food was very pricey and not very good at all, I do not recommend
Jacob S — Google review
Awful. Do not go there unless you want to be mistreated and pay loads of money for horrible food. Don’t fall for the good exchange rate sign at the door, it is still one of the most expensive places in Ushuaia.
Arthur A — Google review
Food is ok. I went in as a tourist and love history but the king crab dish is served cold and no where on the English menu did it mentioned that. In Argentina, they don't give you tap water... everything is bottled or what not so I wasn't surprised of paying for my water. They gave you nice bread and side dishes as most ethnic places do. I tried my best to figure out how to eat it and if one is a dipping sauce or what not. Check out this restaurant once for the decor and the notes from people around the world once and you seriously don't need to come back. It made me feel uncomfortable as a tourist when they mentioned tip knowing I am not a local. They are trying to bank off tourist from America of which tipping is the norm.
SweetHomeGeorgia — Google review
Food is okay. Nothing to write home about. No flavor. Staff is pleasant enough. Slow service. We just ran in for a simple quick bite. This is not my favorite place here. Many other locations worth the visit.
Ann E — Google review
I ordered a medium cooked steak with fries. But they brought me extremely rare not meat %75 percentage tendonms, you can't eat that. All fries are almost overcooked, fries must be golden color not brown or black. I didn't continue my plate and asked for the cheque. I paid 5500 for all the things together with Sprite. This is very expensive, it may be expensive but they must make me like WORTH IT. After I paid, I complaint and showed the waitress the breathing meat and fries. She agrees me and took the money. This bar is NOT IDEAL. Please go and eat in another place.

Irish pub

Restaurant
Dublin is a popular Irish pub in Ushuaia that is always busy. It serves standard bar food, including appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and pizza, as well as locally produced Beagle beer.
Great place to grab a pint and enjoy yourself in Ushuaia- didn’t have any Guinness though, but Cape Horn beer is fantastic and has a great story. The stout on tap is good too!
Kelsey H — Google review
Atmosphere was very good. The service was not good. Had to ask for service repeatedly even while sitting at the bar. The food was disgusting. I only ordered the papa fritas with cheese. Couldn’t eat it. Even the fries were soggy. I could tell the fries were cold and they just added this gross cheese crap on top and shipped it out of the kitchen to me. Price for it was outrageous. My pictures of the meal are what was provided and what I couldn’t eat because I would have gotten sick if I had more.
Jeffrey S — Google review
Even at the end of the world, no escaping us Irish and our bars! Decent food especially the chips with garlic, although the onion rings could have been a bit warmer. Local stout sweet but drinkable and staff friendly
Sean M — Google review
No Guiness here but they do have an amazing Patagonian stout! Food is decent but I couldn't find a fish & chips on the menu :-(
Adam R — Google review
Happy hour on beers was a great way to end the day. Staff was friendly, but it was slightly difficult to get their attention to order another beer. Didn't have any food, but what was coming out around us looked good. Certainly would recommend, and honestly one of the more lively and vibrant places we visited during our stay in Ushuaia
Issac A — Google review
Best Irish pub in town, cozy atmosphere and great beer! Always a must when visiting Ushuaia!
Florencio P — Google review
Food was gross and expensive, drinks expensive and didn’t have great options (plus no Guinness), service bad, no heaters on out in the smoking area in the middle of winter, toilet was minging. Good tunes spinning on the night (Saturday) but it’s for sure not a genuine Irish bar, at all at all! ❌☘️

Casa Olmo is a great beer bar with good food. The atmosphere is cool and the service is friendly. The Caprese Especial pizza is delicious, especially after a day of hiking.
Ravioli are hand made in restaurant and absolutely delicious. Sandwiches are very well done with abundant fillings and artisanal breads. Atmosphere is a very tasteful nautical theme. Prices are very reasonable for food offered. Highly recommend the restaurant. Did not go to attached coffee/tea shop but visually looked well done.

I love the atmosphere of this bar and restaurant. I sat outside and enjoyed a beer in the afternoon, and walked in to find a covered porch, and then a large space inside with private party room, and then booth, table and bar seating. Rustic, clean and comfy. I didn't get to eat, but the atmosphere is so inviting and warm I'd definitely come back here. Enjoy!

I normally don't write reviews, but after this experience I have to. If you decide to go here, please don't make the same mistake I did and don't order the calamari salad. Even though it's on the current specials menu. The calamari is not well prepared, it's tough and dry. The salad has no flavor. There's a chopped lettuce, red cabbage and pickled tomatoes in oil on the plate. It doesn't make sense and they charge 22,000 ARS for it and we waited quite a long time for the food. The service is lukewarm in its approach, they didn't even come to clear the plates. I'm giving one star for the Pilsner beer

The bar also features a menu of tapas and shareable dishes to complement your beverages. With a lively atmosphere and friendly staff, this charming spot in Ushuaia provides an enjoyable experience. So glad I went before the public holiday else I would hv missed it totally. Great place to go i think preferably before it gets dark so that you can have a view. Ordered the Mountain Penicillin and Island Tonic which i felt the latter tasted better. For food I ordered Spinach and provolone croquettes with roasted garlic aioli and Smoked chicken quesadilla with guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo salsa which were both good but small portions. There was also a live jazz singer who was really good. Opens till late and crowds come in after 9pm otherwise pretty empty before that. Recommended!

We stopped into this venue on our first night in the city. The drinks and food were AMAZING. The service left a little to be desired. We often had to wait long stretches of time just to be acknowledged. We would have spent far more money here had they just given us the time of day.
Josh — Google review
We had a fun time here for drinks and dinner! The servers were nice and attentive, there was good 80s/90s music playing, and the food and drinks were pretty good. The Thai beef tiradito and the apple crumble with malbec syrup were amazing, and the Frog burger was great. We also got the nachos with pulled pork on top, which were good initially, until we ate all the pulled pork off the top, and there were still a bunch of soggy chips underneath that went uneaten.

Cocktails looked pretty at first, but that was about it. We came here after being on a 10-day Antarctica cruise. Coming from a place where a high quality of service was the priority, this bar felt short. At least 5 people were standing inside the bar area but only 1 bartender was making drinks. This is probably okay on a slow night, but not during the summer season in Ushuaia.

Ate here last night, great atmosphere with music, husband had lamb curry, I had tacos, both delicious. Drinks were good, was fun watching the bar staff make the many varieties of drinks. Staff was very responsive, even though we didn’t speak Spanish. Going back again before we fly out.

Super charming place with kind staff, nice appetizers and great drinks. I was lucky to arrive at the happy hour, and I got two drinks for the price of one. The bar has big windows all over, so we can have a nice view of Ushuaia's coast as the night falls.

Had an IPA and Lamb Vindaloo. Draft IPA tasted like the line hadn't been cleaned in a year and the curry was salty enough to melt snow. On a plus, the place is stylish with good music.

Nice place. Great service!!! Not that the food was bad, its just interesting but I have a suggestion: try putting a meat on the fries and using real cheese.

Perhaps my favorite little bar in Ushuaia. I want to hire their designer to decorate my house. I loved the prints on the wall, the style the vibe. Tons of outlets at every table, and USB ports. Easily could spend an afternoon there.

Good selection of local craft beer and a small menu with tasty options. I visited a few times and the beer selection varied. During the day, they offer a set lunch, not the full menu. Service can be slow when it's busy. They host tango and DJs sometimes.

waited a long time to get served. There were 4 waitresses (young ladies) and they were all pretty rude. They didn’t seem to like English speaking tourists. We asked for the WiFi code so we could download the drink menu to be able to order drinks and they wouldn’t give it to us. We were there Sunday Feb 9th, they seemed inconvenienced that we were there and they said they didn’t want to play better music since they wanted to close the bar early.

Hard Rock Cafe Ushuaia is a rock 'n' roll-themed restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere, serving classic American dishes like burgers and chicken tenders. Despite typically favoring local cuisine while traveling, visitors found themselves drawn to the welcoming staff and familiar menu during an unexpected stay. The iconic brand's location in Ibiza is renowned for its beachfront setting and lively pool parties featuring special guests.
Here's a Google review for the Hard Rock Cafe in Vientiane based on your experience: Absolutely incredible! A taste of home and more! After 5 months traveling through SEA, my wife and I were feeling a bit under the weather and craving some familiar comfort food. Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane delivered and then some! I opted for the double mushroom Swiss smash burger and was blown away – it was arguably the best smash burger I've ever had. Seriously, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I also asked for a pineapple/orange juice, which wasn't on the menu, but the manager was fantastic and kindly explained it to her staff, and it came out perfectly on point. My wife went for the grilled chicken Caesar salad and an Old Fashioned (also off-menu). She said both were absolutely delicious, and the salad was impressively large! If you're missing live music, they have it every night at 9:00 PM. The whole experience was fantastic, and the staff were amazing – super accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone in Vientiane looking for great food, drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere!

Well, it’s your basic Hard Rock. I was there early by local standards and it was pretty empty. Very pricy, though everything in Ushuaia is. I ordered the fajitas. Argentina is know for its beef but this meat was tough. These fajitas wouldn’t fly in the U.S.

We ordered a lot of food that day starting with boneless chicken (tupelo chicken tenders), chicken wings, nachos, burgers🍔. Drinks - all sorts of fancy cocktails 🍸. Long Island ice tea. Gold Ron, whisky, mojito, etc. The food is amazing. The service is quite fast compared to other restaurants. Waiters are good enough to understand English. The ambiance is good and there is a big seating area. We did not have to wait to get the seat. So, prior booking may not be required. You could find all the American food options here and it was a decent experience.
Vaibhav K — Google review
Nice place, we had a Baileys Coffee, Amarulas Coffee and Hot fudge Brownie. The coffees were delicious! The Brownie was hudge! We were two and we coulndt finished it.

This Hard Rock will surely close like many others. There were more servers in the place than patrons but yet I could not get served. I finally walked to the bar and asked for service and it was if I was asking for the winning lottery ticket. The food arrived and it was dripping in grease. The waitress was just nasty and unfriendly. There are many good places to eat in Ushuaia, why would I want to go back?
David H — Google review
The food was super average. We ordered the wings as a starter. It took them around 20 minutes even though the place was almost empty. And when we got the wings finally, it was a little warm, and not crispy as you’d expect wings in buffalo sauce to be. Huge disappointment, felt like we got this dish after it was standing for a while and getting cold. The burgers were also quite disappointing. The bread bun was not very fresh and a little dry…We ordered a dessert hoping this will be good at least. We ordered a hot brownie fudge cake with ice cream and whipped cream. The cake was actually good, but all the other things were so bad, there was a white strange cream that is not close to be a whipped cream, and they have added sprinkles which was very unnecessary here. The vanilla ice cream had also very strange taste and texture. I have eaten in other branches of Hard a rock Cafe and didn’t except for such a disappointment. The waitress was very nice so that was the good part in our visit.

Santos, a bar in an industrial setting with warm wooden decor, creates a clean and quiet atmosphere. The men's restroom stands out with its imaginative design. The friendly and helpful service caters to non-Spanish speakers. Offering around six draft beers, they serve flavorful options like Oshovia amber and Haku Erim blond. Partner's Mussels dish is satisfying, although the absence of bread for soaking up the juices is disappointing.
Very casual bar, laid back atmosphere. Decent set of taps, good service and cool tunes. We tried a few different pizzas and they were all good. More like a flat bread style so if expecting NY slices you just have to adjust.

Nice friendly bar in Ushuaia, pizzas are wonderful here and the atmosphere is lively. Being a travel focused town, they see people from all over the world so are very adept at making everyone feels welcomed. Location is inside a busy plaza with parking in the rear.

My partner and I arrived before 18:00 on a Saturday. It was clean and quiet. The decor is industrial but the wood makes it feel warmer. The men's restroom was particularly imaginative (see urinal picture). Service was friendly and helpful to these non-Spanish speakers. There were about a half dozen beers on draft. We had Oshovia amber and Haku Erim which is a blond. Both were flavorful. My partner's Mussels were good and filled her. However there was no bread for soaking up the juices as is usual in the US. My basic cheese burger was more than filling. The fries were just ok.

Nestled in the heart of Ushuaia, Argentina, Van Gogh - Beer House is a vibrant restaurant that invites you to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. Known for its cozy atmosphere and lively ambiance, this spot has garnered praise for its mouthwatering hamburgers and an impressive selection of craft beers. Guests appreciate the attentive service from the friendly staff, which enhances their overall dining experience.
Came here on New Year's Day, wanting to watch American College football and these guys accommodated me and put the game on for me. Excellent beer and the service was top notch. Food is decent enough for a beer place. Spent like 7 hrs here watching football. If you're looking to drink good beer and watch some sports, this is the place I'd recommend. Big, long bar too, if ya feel like conversing a bit with fellow travelers.

It's a nice place for a beer or a bite! Stopped by for a beer. No English in this bar. But pointing and signs made it work. Didn't try their food.
Bernhard B — Google review
Beer is quite nice, the IPA is reminiscent of 2010s California. The burger had good toppings, but the burger itself was disappointing.
Guillaume C — Google review
The food unfortunately was probably amongst the worst I have ever had. We went here on 01.01.2024 because all other restaurants had long queues- the following showed why this restaurant wasn’t overly booked. The waitress was friendly, however we waited for almost 20 mins for our drinks to arrive and once they did one was missing. After another 20 mins we got some food- which turned out to be for our neighbors and after having been delivered to us got taken away again and served to our neighbors. The food that later on got delivered and actually turned out to be ours unfortunately was probably the worst I have ever tasted: Cesar salad without dressing, mozzarella sticks which tasked like they had been fried in old fat, fries which were flat and no flavor at all, the burger we sent directly back to the kitchen after one bite. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a dinner location for a nice evening out in Ushuaia.

Experience the local craft beer scene at Cervecería Grut '84, where you can indulge in a variety of brews like IPA and golden ale. This lively establishment offers an inviting ambiance with great music, tasty tapas, and entertaining beer games. Notably, they also cater to vegans with delicious options such as the vegan Napolitano pizza and burger.
We visited here twice on our recent trip. Hands down, the best food and drink experience we’ve had in Argentina! We’ve spent time in Buenos Aires, Bariloche, and Ushuaia and Grut 84 far exceeded both our expectations and our other experiences. The service is exceptional. The staff has fun - both with each other and with the customers. They take the time to listen, to give great recommendations (I tried some great beer!), and to check in with us repeatedly. That creates a fun and inviting ambiance that encourages everyone to have a good time, to play games, to laugh, and to enjoy life. And combined with the awesome music, it of course creates an amazing atmosphere - mixed with both locals and tourists. The food and drinks were phenomenal!! We had the Very Grut burger, the Patty Melt burger, the Terrier Old Tom with palmetto, and the Negroni. After long days of hiking and penguin watching, we were in heaven.

This place is exactly what we were looking for in our visit to Ushuaia. They played fun music to help set the vibe. The staff was the friendliest we had our entire time in Argentina. They even recognized us when we came back a second time. The food was also phenomenal. I had the patty melt, and my husband had another burger on the menu. The burgers and fries were absolute perfection both times. The drinks were also great. I cannot stress enough how much you want to go to this place. If you want a spot where the locals hang out, this is it. I recommend getting here between 8:00 and 8:30 PM at the latest as it fills up quickly, and it’s difficult to get a seat.

During our trip to Argentina, this restaurant stood out as the absolute highlight of our culinary journey. Without a doubt, it’s the best place we dined at throughout the entire vacation. The chef deserves every bit of success that comes their way—it’s evident that this is a labor of love, passion, and meticulous research. The dishes reflect not only an exceptional mastery of ingredients and flavors but also a deep respect for Argentinian culinary traditions, skillfully reinterpreted with creativity and care. Every bite was a celebration of taste, a perfect balance of innovation and authenticity. This is a restaurant to watch, one we’ll surely return to again and again. It’s a hidden gem that truly deserves a Michelin star. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is the place to go.

1884 Beer RestoBar is a friendly and welcoming place with delicious drinks and a great atmosphere. They are known for their tasty pizzas, filling and rich, perfect for any occasion. The restaurant offers a variety of beers and excellent food at affordable prices. With pleasant music playing all day, it's the ideal spot to enjoy good company and great tunes while savoring their delightful menu.
Really nice, friendly vibe, and well priced. Delicious milanese and good selection of beers and drinks. 10/10 for music, too! Fab tunes all evening long:)

Worst service and food we had in Argentina! We celebrated new years eve here, because we could not find any other place open and available in Ushuaia. The waiter told us no hamburgers are available, but two people who came in one hour later, were able to order two hamburgers... Apparantly those were the last two hamburgers, but I still don't understand why we could not order it (and why it is so difficult to have enough hamburgers in stock). The waiter could not explain anything about the beers or wine on the menu. The pizza menu does not mention ingedrients, but the waiter also did not really know what was on which pizza. The pizza was very basic and had a terrible crust (hard and dry like a cracker). The chicken nuggets were dry as well. The draft beer was flat and not cold. The canned beers were sometimes luke-warm. They forgot to bring plates and cutlery with the food. After finishing the meal, nobody took away the plates and food trays. After half an hour waiting, I brought it back myself. When we wanted to order some more food, we found out that at the initial order, the waiter only gave us half the menu and that there were also sandwiches available. They were not great either, but much better than the pizza. Ordering drinks takes a lot of time. A few minutes before midnight, it took ten minutes to get a drink because the bar tender worked extremely slow and apparantly does not care if you have a drink to toast at midnight (and that half of the staff was taking a break did not help either). I would have been understanding a lousy service if it would have been very busy and the place was understaffed, but that was out of the question. It was relatively quite, not even half of the restaurant was occupied. If there would have been alternatives, we would have left prematurely, but unfortunately there were not. Despite the lousy service, we were able to enjoy new year's eve and had a good time at 1884 restobar as we were in good company and it is a rather atmospheric place.

(Translated by Google) The pizza is very delicious. We tasted black beers but only the tropical stout convinced us due to its temperature. Very loud music for those who want to talk. The place is managed with an app that is quite convenient to request a menu (although you must keep in mind that you have to download the app to your cell phone). (Original) Muy rica la pizza. Degustamos cervezas negras pero solo la stout tropical nos convenció por su temperatura. La música muy fuerte para quien quiere conversar. (Translated by Google) The second chance I give him. The beers on both occasions were undrinkable, had an ugly taste and all the variety without or with very little gas. The ordering application is convenient, but the waitress can get hung up on sending the order to the kitchen. I ordered some cheddar potatoes and it took almost an hour with the place empty. I wouldn't go back (Original) La segunda oportunidad que le doy. No volvería

(Translated by Google) They started well, but the quality dropped a lot, and the prices went through the roof, 4 slices of pizza, one thousand two hundred pesos. The fries tasted like old oil, and were already extremely salty. Also, it took more than 40 minutes to bring the order... some potatoes, and when they arrived they were cold. The delay was not due to demand, because there were only two tables occupied. A shame, because at first it was a good place to eat, but no longer, I won't go back again.
