I had a very welcoming and excellent coffee here after a very cold walk on the beach with the dogs. Could fault the service, it extremely good and proficient.

Great food, except Sunday lunch. Can get very busy around normal meal times with a 30 min wait. Friendly staff. Purchase a card for 10% discount if you intend to visit regularly.

Come here every Saturday for a few drinks and a meal it's great apart from some girl going round the pub selling a number draw for £2 ago while your eating. We come here to relax not be hassled by people selling things

Went for Sunday lunch. Was busy but not overly so. Served quickly and food was nice. But felt the beef had come ready sliced from a wholesalers not a proper joint cooked. The portion size was ok but as it's not a carvary you don't get a day in what veg you want or how much. Gravy and meat unfortunately not as good as raf55 in Skegness. Would go again. Atmosphere and decor was nice and prices are good. It was just unfortunate for this pub that I'd had one of the best carvaries ever in raf55 in Skegness the day before.

Had a lovely afternoon here well worth a visit

Worst Angus steak burger ever, undercooked funny taste and overpriced and cold chips. Atmosphere poor maybe because of the price of a beer £5.10 for a pint of Carling and £2.40 for a half of John Smith's.

Bar staff are young and inexperienced. Manager is rude and disrespectful. Prices are cheap if you have a loyalty card. Toilets are disgraceful. The smell is unreal.

Came here for my birthday meal as me and my boyfriend came on a coach trip for the day as it’s my 20th birthday. He ordered the pasta which came with a tomato sauce. Cheese and garlic bread was extra making it nearly £15 for a cheep microwaved small bowl of pasta!! I ordered the fish and chips as it said on the menu the fish was locally sourced. I assume by locally sourced they mean the local freezer shop as you could tell just by looking at it the fish was not fresh. The chips were cheap and tasteless. As a seaside destination it is not hard to get fish fresh along with serving hand cut chippy chips. Service was fine wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst but I feel for the destination this bar is in standards need to be much higher. If I could give anyone some advise before eating here it would simply be not to bother!!

Much quieter than other bars in the area, but still enjoyed a drink or two in here. Bar staff were great and the place was very clean and tidy. Slightly older clientele when we visited on the Friday night.

Great beer, great spot, plenty of seating and large area outside. Great for sunny weather & you can’t beat a good game of bingo when it’s on! (We won!) definitely will be back next time.

The food was okay my gf and I spent £33 for a fish that looked like it was from frozen and chips where cheap chips the service was amazing the atmosphere was dead with ingoldmells being so busy I expected better but I’m not suprised with prices I’m from Grimsby and grimshu do better prices then these people do!!! My pasta also tasted like it was microwaved from frozen pasta didn’t even come with cheese you have to pay for cheese and garlic bread also!!! Will not be coming back!!!!

Had a take away meal after a pint. For our family of four. Ordered chicken for kids n chips and jumbo hotdogs for us parents, Chips where awful surprised the seagulls had them to be honest. Jumbo hot dogs in stale, hard, sliced french bread not a hot dog roll. Id have been better off staying on site and spending less and walking not as far. Lesson learned. 👎🏻

Whenever we come to Skegness we always go to Cheers it's local but there is pubs that are closer by but this offers everything for us as a family great children's entertainment reasonable price beers I have never eaten the food but I've seen it many times and it looks great. Plus friendly staff but like I say we go for the family entertainment and we are never disappointed

It was a friendly bar where we stopped a couple of times for a few drinks. It was well priced and clean with nice staff. Positioned by a main road it's not the prettiest of views but that isn't a problem. It was busy and lively. Wheelchair accessible with downstairs disabled toilet.

On our Annual visit to Butlins Skegness, we always come to Cheers Bar for a great night of nestalga. We get there usually at 7pm and sit upstairs as this is where the entertainment for all ages is. There is a dancefloor in the middle of the room which is used for discos, games and general playing space for the kids. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The team who do the entertainment are brilliant. It is like how you remember entertainment was when i was going out to places like this with my parents. Kids friendly with the odd pearler that only the adults will understand. In addition to muliple games for the kids and chances to win prizes, there are some more adult games like Bingo, Open the Box and various other games. Depending on how lively it is, could be looking at between £25-50 for a full house. There is a good selection of drinks and also food is very good. We didnt eat at this visit but we have in previous visits and there has never been any complaints. Pizzas are very good. There are some amusement machines downstairs to keep the kids coming back for more money. Good selection of machines and little bits that kids love like temporary tattoos etc.

Great place for kids but I have got a little tip for u all if u are going during happy hours and want a jug of lager don't order 4 pints instead the jugs stay full price apart from that our family enjoyed it

Brilliant place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Butlins why staying there. Reasonably priced delicious food and drinks even when it's not happy hour. 5 minute walk from the main gate of Butlins.

Attached to the Premier. Standard spec. Plenty of seating. Nice bar with a reasonable choice of drinks. Can't really say it had craft beers as advertised, as one pump of Doom bar really doesn't pass muster. Efficient friendly staff. Nice looking menu with a decent Sunday roast. We just did breakfast, which was fine.

The food was really good, staff member James was brilliant above and beyond service and recommended the save menu plus he could have a laugh and made feel welcome. Excellent service

Cheap & cheerful. Variety of menu options, including a good selection of drinks. I’ve never had a bad experience here since it opened, the foods always consistent & nice. Kirk was our server last night, he is always friendly & makes time for each table he serves. All the staff are great.

A really good value restaurant with an extensive breakfast buffet selection. Plenty of vegan options cooked to order and delivered to your table. I would recommend booking as it was very busy today. £10.99 for unlimited cooked breakfast and £8.99 for unlimited continental. Staff are amazing and very friendly. We came here after almost most other places around ingoldmells was closed so we ended up here by accident but my god was we glad we did end up here, the service and the food was excellent on par with a restaurant you would likely pay 3x more at i was very surprised the food was really really good cooked very well and presented very well too serving most of the pub type classics with a few twists of there own the price point was very reasonable for me the mrs and our 3 year old came to around 40 odd pounds for mains and drinks and dessert for one I will definitely be returning again when I'm back up skegness way in the future.

Had a really nice 2 course meal here. Seated straight away and told what wasn't available which is useful to know in advance of ordering. Kirk was our waiter. He was extremely friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. His area got busier and busier while we ate and he sorted everyone out in turn while still checking on all his other diners. Would defo recommend. Free parking for 3 hours too if just using the restaurant.

We wrapped up our Easter long weekend in Skegness with lunch at Wolfies Wine Bar, and it was a great way to end the trip! Five families dined together, and none of us regretted it. The location is perfect—just around the corner from the rides and the beach, which made it super convenient with the kids. We ordered a variety of food including pizzas, garlic bread, chicken dishes, and some soft drinks like mojitos. The food was decent overall and there was something for everyone. The service was fine, and the staff were polite and helpful. The ambience inside is lovely, with comfy sofas and chairs that made it easy to relax after a busy morning out. Lighting inside is a bit on the dim side, but if you sit on the side facing the rides, there’s more natural light. The toilets were reasonably clean too, which is always a bonus. Only downside was parking—it was a busy weekend and the nearby car parks were all full, so we had to park about 5 minutes away in a residential area. Not a big issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during peak times. All in all, a good spot for casual dining in Skegness. Would consider visiting again!

They have a separate vegan menu with lots of choice! We had two meals and two cocktails for £36, which we thought was a bargain. Pros: Tasty food, Varied options, Affordable Cons: No vegan desserts

Price is good for the size you get. Atmosphere is grate Music on point My only gripe is the fish was under done a little and batter on the inside still runny. Also gluten free wife says is amazing

I had a sirloin steak and to have it as medium rare but came out as well done and quite tough. Lunch time in kitchen must of been busy but surely keep an eye on the steak that needs to be medium rare and not overdo it. And the underside was a bit burnt

Visited with my two girls & the food was amazing. I have to say my V burger was the best I’ve ever had!!! We all had different types of chips & all of them were gorgeous. Great value for money.

Great restaurant. Super clean and amazing service. Staff are friendly and for one of the only places that allow dogs it's the best. Food is amazing, steaks cooked to perfection and they really give you so much. I would recommend this place as one of the best in Skegness to go.

Very cosy place with outdoor gas heaters (when available ) close to sea front, was exceptional clean and service with a smile, very calm atmosphere and back ground music was really decent. Mainly had drinks but had chips and curry sauce on the side, which was delicious!!

Great venue for live music on an evening, good atmosphere, easy to get drinks as bar staff were quick to serve.

The Dj who does kareoke needs replacing , I waited 3 hours for 1 song to be played, he kept adding his mates and regulars before people who were on the list, yes i actually witnessed him doind this while sta ding at the side seeing why it was taking so long , also when he first set up and started playing songs..was only playing Barry white and smooching with his missus , not very professional and not very inclusive of your patrons. I was not the only one rolling my eyes. Lovely bar staff though !! 👌

Only stayed for 1 drink but the staff were nice, 2 drinks (1 double rum and one single) cost nearly £16, seemed alot but maybe thats normal in skeggy. Karaoke was on when arrived, seemed like everyone was enjoying themselves.

An excellent pub opposite Skegness Pier, outside seating, very clean and tidy, huge TVs on the walls, great for sports events. Very friendly and experienced staff. Well worth a visit.

Had a fantastic time at wellies skeggness karaoke was excellent not a lot in but the atmosphere was brilliant..If your in skeggness pop in for a drink bar staff friendly and amazing..

Food wasn’t available as the place wasn’t open we had to sit outside on benches with the beach bar they had that’s why it’s getting a 1star also they only serve in plastic cups which is disappointing rather drink out of a glass so went elsewhere after. Lady at the beach bar was really nice. Had music playing so was ok, but there was hardly any atmosphere there, was a family enjoying the beach bar that was it.

Went to go for a carvery and there were flies all on the food… never left so quickly! Safest bet is the burger van outside. Music is good it’s a place to go for a drink but definitely not somewhere to eat…

We biked from the holiday site and decided to take a bike ride along the beach path. We saw a pub and decided to stop and have a drink. The staff were brilliant and understanding about our deaf and sign language, so there was no problem with communication. The price for a pint was good. We will definitely come back in the near future.

Cheap beer and great atmosphere coupled with a seafront location, what's not to like. (The dog)

It’s expensive for where it is. £11.95 for a BBQ Chicken Wrap and £11.95 for Fish and Chips. £4 for a large Coke! For that price I should have bought a beer and got drunk. They had a live singer on which was good.

Had 2 meals over this last week and absolutely spot on!! Loved the staff and the meal was great value and great quality for the price. Will defo be back. Thanks guys

Proper traditional pub with great staff, fantastic atmosphere and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Only downside for us is that although they have a reasonably good range of beers, we are struggling to find one we enjoy. We get the feeling that they look after the cheap beers that the majority drink, but not the premium beers eg a good pint of Mansfield bitter but a dire pint of Hobgoblin.

We dropped on this gem of an establishment and found Dave at the helm, he's a great guy serving top quality ales in lovely well kept surroundings. We shall be back 👍😁

Lovely pub, nice people to drink & have crack with but landlord is rude & arrogant. Been told he doesn't care about locals as he's guaranteed trade from holiday makers! Don't the locals provide a living when it's out of season or quiet. Will not entertain this pub again which is a shame as it could be amazing. In review to the landlords response, I was told this by other locals. Look I am in the hospitality industry and we have been in the pub. No connection with the drinkers, customer service is none existing. Just take take. Not going to get in to a slanging match with the landlord but you need to improve your skills. Such a shame as the place could be amazing. Stop playing the radio for starters and get sky sports instead of putting TV on. If you were that interested in your customers you would invest in them. No eye contact with customers no how can i help you, no thank you nothing.

Food we had was great, but carvery Sunday finished early because of lack of meat and don't serve any more food on a Sunday which for a family park I feel is poor !!!

Red really good prices and the beer tastes great. Just a shame they don't food. Staff are quick and efficient and it's also dog friendly.

Beautiful family friendly beach with something for everyone to enjoy! The fair was a big hit with the kids. There is also a really nice splash park right by the car park which the kids enjoyed too! Ended the day with a quick stroll on the pier which was lovely and quiet. Toilets are closed by the car park. 40p charge to go in and only card payments accepted.

Skegness has greatly improved over the years. Everywhere I walked was clean, tidy and inviting. I visited most shops and generally got a warm welcome. Lovely to see the Salvation Army selling food and drinks. Apparently the guy that works in their cafe bakes the cakes on sale. The beach was very clean with plenty of people about, although my photo's don't show that. I spent three days with my van at a holiday park at very reasonable rates. Thank you to the people, businesses and local council for their hospitality.

Lovely clean beach with lots of amenities to suit all. Ample parking spaces. A Good selection of eateries whether eating in or taking out. Lots of entertainment.

Busy area as is expected, the use of donkeys is a shame but I guess they are well looked after. Huge beach area with loads of rides, food, arcades and drinks options I would recommend the alcohol slushies on the left as you enter the beach Well looked after beach, great water quality

Extremely busy beach and crowded but it was in August and a Saturday. Unfortunately humans littering let down the atmosphere & look of the beach - unable to relax and ended up collecting the litter flying at me whilst sat on the beach. RNLI patrolling and Red and Yellow flags out. Kids had fun.

This is a beautiful beach with lotof sand area for kids to play. Waves are little small . Also there is a water paddling pool for kids near the beach car park which is good and clean for kids to play. Car park : we parked in the beach car park which is nearby beach and charge 8 pounds for 3+ hours

Been here on several occasions whilst visiting Skegness and have always been happy with food,service etc.On our last visit on wed 11th June 2025 we noticed that for a change it wasn't very busy .My husband and myself both ordered the hunters chicken .After a wait of over 3/4 of an hour our food arrived and I can honestly say it was the worst meal we had ever been served.The chips were overcooked ,the lettuce was brown and the hunters chicken had no bacon on it and looked as though it had just been thrown in the microwave ,the chicken was really dry and the dish was that dry there was hardly any bbq sauce left on it .We both ended up leaving our meal so a complete waste of money .The photo shows what food I had to leave

First time visiting and we've enjoyed a lovely meal and drinks with our family and friends today at the welcome Inn. Great family atmosphere, food was beautiful and came out in no time. The staff are incredibly friendly and can't do enough for you. Sarah and John in particular are the loveliest of people. Both came over to say hello and introduce themselves. Highly recommend popping in for a drink and food. we will definitely be returning. Thanks guys 😊

We waited quite a long time for food about 25 min. Dinner without taste. Hunter chicken was probably reheated in microwave. Very disappointed

Went on a Sunday for a carvery. Food was excellent, couldn't fault it, but the hygiene for the venue was not great. Tables wiped down with the same dirty cloth after each use so the table tops and the menus were sticky to the touch. Carpets were black in places where they haven't been cleaned in years and the carvery serving counter was a mobile unit positioned directly outside the toilet doors

Stayed the night in our Motorhome in one of the 4 dedicated parking spots and had the steak pie and mash which was a huge portion Some road noise but died down after 11pm

Since the weather was nice we thought we would go for a nice bit off lunch. we sat outside in a hut ( once we found one that was not dirty) , our order never took long which was good but once our food came to us it was given without cutlery or napkins or no condiments. Tried to get the waitress back but was ignored . We was the only ones sitting outside so we was out off the way but u would have thought we would have been checked on . This place is only cash only so it was a good a job tesco at the side to use cash machine .

Visited during easter half term Many "game" machines wouldn't print tickets won as we know 20/30 tickets make a massive difference to a child saving for a item , puts you off playing, young staff member on the prize shop very helpful and friendly the only toilet working was the downstairs disabled - no signage to state this , disappointed on this visit as we use this arcade regularly

Great place to be with your family if it wasn’t for the lady that calls the bingo, very rude when selling tickets, she needs to get some customer service, got spoken to rudely by her for being in the wrong que for my bingo tickets, baring in mind it was my first time here, the. To top that off she was telling kids to be quiet while the adults play bingo at the kids disco, then proceeded to shout at a lady for letting her kid play in the old bingo tickets to keep them quiet, and what made it worse she gave sweets out at the end of the disco to the kids but one child wasn’t confident enough to que up due to anxiety so his mum went to take him whe. The Que was gone and the mean lady said you will have to wait because I am busy now, what kind of kids entertainer is that, first and last night in after seeing that very rude lady short brown hair with glasses dances on the stage with the character

Not too bad of an arcade however found it that the place is discriminating against disabled people, limiting them to what they can do. Unless you can walk or are in a wheelchair you can’t access the whole experience of the place. Truly disappointed.

I love this place, but I think they could mix it up abit like add new characters with buster and benji, also change the songs they sing. Just something a little different. But I do love the place.

We called in today,and ordered two cocktails the woman serving us was very rude,we asked where the strawberries and lemon was she said we haven't got any do you want it or not,we said no we don't,and this was because of her attitude,she proceded to talk about us to other customers,saying,they have just seen me pour it out,but we didn't know at this point they had no fruit,and we like our cocktail with fruit,but we would have accepted the drinks if we were told before ordering,may I suggest customer care course,we will not be visiting again thankyou linda parkin

Just been in bjs young girl with permed hair asked what I wanted I told her she walked off came bk took payment off someone else she had walked off from after serving them then said to a guy u owe £25 for your drinks which his reply was remember u walked away from me not me walking away you left me stood waiting for u to come take my payment whilst I'm still no drinks she then walked to end of the bar and asked another customer what they would like whilst I'm still waiting for my order when I said have you forgot about me she just shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't care I've been coming to your bar for over 20 years and never experienced anything like the service she gives to her customers she needs proper training or something as she has ruined our night

We don't eat out, so no comment. The family area was large and spacious, along with lots of family entertainment. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Families WERE are smiling and happy. NO IDIOTS AROUND VERY PEACEFUL.THE DRINK OFFERS are ALSO GOOD. And priced OK. The Lounge end for adults mainly was quality, same priced drinks, good LIVE Music and quite Posh, certainly for me. REAL SEASIDE PLACE. BRAVO TO THECOWNERS

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Wasn't overly busy so couldn't understand why the bar staff just stood around doing nothing when everywhere was filthy. Litter on a dirty floor, dirty sticky tables, dirty glasses inside and outside, dirty toilets although there was hot water and soap and the big mirror on the back wall didn't look like lt had been cleaned in weeks. I definitely won't be returning

This used to be our go to place when we came to Ingoldmells, however doubt we’ll return next time. We went at around 11pm on a Saturday night and there was literally about 5 people in. Music was good, staff fairly welcoming, drinks not too expensive but required a £5 deposit for any drink that uses a mixer jug. I know you get it back but it was just inconvenient

well very dissapointed went in there orderd a couple of pints and a few cokes for the kids and was going to order food untill onr of the staff memebers came out being very rude to a person sitting on the benches spitting over them with his lack of teeth! i can recommend a good dentist for your employee if want , although the kids got quite scared and ultimatly thought he was the cookie monster so we left and opted for a better pub just up the road!

Not keen on plastic bottles, bar was quiet midday Sunday, approx 30 ppl in and yet asking people to make a queue!? It's a bar not a shop! I found that feet sticking on floor and other surfaces a bit annoying.,it looked clean but smelt of stale beer. Cannot comment on toilets as I didn't use them.

Do the management listen to the act they hire before they book them. I think not, but we have to sit through distorted sound at the highest volume and it's impossible to hear a word that they sing.

Fantastic atmosphere. Best bar in ingoldmells! Thankyou for always giving the best service and for always serving us with a smile. Staff are the most welcoming and very friendly. Prices are great, especially with the 10% discount card offered for only £10, which also includes their sister bar ''The Garrison'' which is a late night venue on a weekend, and located just down the stairs (and around the corner). Great entertainment always!

Just going home from yet another amazing 2 weeks away and partying every night in cheeky blinders this place really is amazing the all the staff are friendly and make you feel so welcome DJ gaz is the best DJ ever and plays anything from OLD NEW AND INBETWEEN !! He has everyone up on there feet dancing and definitely has everyone laughing with his fun sense of humour all the staff go out there way to make you feel safe and relaxed so you can just let your hair down and have a really good time can not wait for next week so I can do it all again 😃

Totally over rated! Staff very plastic! Couldn't concentrate on sports on TVs as too much noise from Dj and think it was karaoke singing! If it wasn't karaoke I can see why the larger is over priced, paying for rubbish singer's! RIP OFF TOURIST BAR!! London prices for larger! Group of 90 and didn't take long to move on! The bar still made a killing on the couple of rounds we ended up getting while awaiting everyone to get a seat and pint!!

AVOID IF YOU’RE YOUNG! two girls who were clearly very drunk asked the bar to help them get back to there hotel. both of there phones were dead and they had lost there bank card, and the bars response to this was “you’re not coming in here anyway” thankfully, i got the girls home safe.

Came in for a drink after work and it's not a bad place if you ignore the facially tattooed customers and (look liked) underage drinkers. Staff pleasant and quick to serve. Watched the 'security' with no visible SIA badge escort a drunk guy from the premises in a respectful way.. take this place as you find it, I was told it it was the best bar in ingoldmells and I'm guessing it was a quiet night. Beers decent, dj is not bad and I'm hoping I caught this place on an off night. Only real bad point was having my pint poured into a collapsible plastic at midnight without a say. 6/10 from a landlords view

Call in to watch football and had Sunday carvery tyere was 8 of us what a family friendly place and staff couldn't do anymore for us thanks would definitely come back and food was lovely.

This is a really lovely place staff are really friendly and helpful, the food is really good had roast of the day the first time it was massive well worth the money the 2nd time it was a regular breakfast it was fresh and the cutlery and tables were clean. The prices here are brilliant. They also allow dogs in too.

Ahhhh Garden City, my childhood pub. Still as great as I remember. Clean, nice atmosphere. Played my first ever game of pool here last Thursday. Good prizes for bingo, was shocked to hear £108 for a full house!

Best carvery around, 4 joints on the go, cooked to perfection, large selection of veggies, all at a great price. Highly recommend and will go back again.

What a little gem we found. We were looking for a carvery but the pub down the road the kitchen was closed. So we went to the Ship Inn and we were pleased we did. The barman was so lovely and took are stranges requests on our food order. Having children with autism who have specific food requirements is never easy but he did not bat an eye lid. When are food arrived it was exciting how we needed it. The food was fresh and tasty and the kids finished it all. But then after eating there was an added extra of a chance to play bingo. So from what started out as a disaster turned into an of afternoon with good food and great service and entertainment. Winner winner. Thanks for making is feel so welcome

We recently tried a carvery for first time was nice. We do the bingo, auction and raffle when it's on. Dogs are allowed in just not on carpet areas.

Not had food here yet but this is one of the best pubs me and my partner have been in the atmosphere is amazing the staff and the service are superb and so is the beer and they have some really good artists/entertainment i would highly recommend this pub for a good night out i will definitely be going back here again

Waited a hour and 10 minutes for food, chips and peas stone cold , asked for steak well done and fit cane pink. Very disappointing

Although not busy I didn't get served as the young lad behind the bar was too busy showing off to a group of young "girls".we did wait for about 10 minutes

With lots of options for places to go for breakfast we eventually opted for the Hollywood Diner. There is plenty of seating to choose from and options for breakfast are pretty much traditional English or an American breakfast (maple syrup and pancakes). Food was generally OK, although I personally would have preferred the bacon to be a little more cooked. The diner is fairly laid back, so there was no rushing or feeling like we needed to rush with the kids. The only annoyance was that the music / speakers were quite loud - but partly our own fault as we let the kids pick where we were sitting! Staff were friendly and pleasant when ordering, bringing out food - they were happy to get us more sugar for the teas / coffees when asked. Also whilst there the kids met Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch), so that kept the kids busy for a bit whilst we were waiting for food!

Decent grub. Service was good and food prices reasonable. Chilli cheese dog was lovely and all was served nice and hot 😋. My wife had gluten free 10oz gammon meal with egg and pineapple, one child had BBQ brisket fries and our other child had jumbo fish fingers and chips. Everyone was happy with the food. I think the soft drinks were a bit over priced but we all enjoyed our meals so all in all it's worth a visit if in the area.

It was empty except for maybe 2 other tables occupied. This is the reason for a low score atmosphere. Ordered 4 meals, 2 x scampi and chips and 2 x loaded fries. I was not impressed with the scampi. It was tasteless and I'm not a fan of chunky chips. The salad was warm and dry as if it had been sat on the plate waiting for hot food to join it. I was told that the loaded fries were very nice. The staff were very nice too.

Having been to Skegness before and ate at this diner we were excited to try breakfast here. Sadly it seems the establishment has gone down hill. I understand its the start of the season but on the contrary, this should mean they are prepared. We were one of three tables that came for breakfast and I wish we hadnt bothered. Upon seating we discovered bits of food on the floor and a wrapper from smoking tips, which indicated that cleaning had not been done prior to opening (as we ate around 9am). The booth tables are a far distance from the booth seats so you have to lean forward to eat at the table but as we are open-minded we knew we could make it work (and we were hungry ahah). Unfortunately the food was not up to standard, and looking at the reviews from last season it seems to have gone rapidly down hill. From first sight the breakfast appeared okay… but as we started eating the issues began to arise. we had one extra hashbrown because there wasnt any mushrooms (which we werent informed about so its lucky we like hashbrowns). The bread was barely toasted and the bacon was practically still oinking. The eggs were cremated on the bottom but raw on the top so we couldnt eat the eggs (unless youre okay with eating snot). Not only was the food a huge health and safety issue but there was no toilets available either as they were blocked off with wooden beams (which is illegal for an eating establishment to not provide toilets in the UK). The coffee machine was broken and despite it being 1-2 degrees celcius the front doors were left wide open. When the server asked about our meal, we informed him of our issues and he brushed them off and said “ill tell the chef” as he walked away. Customer service and care is definitely not at the forefront of this place. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this diner at all (and neither would the owners either as they keep closing around 1-2pm because they have no customers). The food safety and hygiene levels are extremely questionable and the food is not worth the money when you cant eat half of it without risking salmonella. Given the fact they’ve had a whole winter season to prepare I would expect their first custom to be perfect…. Especially as a breakfast is a basic meal to make. 1/5 and we will not be returning… not worth the risk 🤢😮‍💨

We went for lunch and couple of weeks ago , the food was okay but I was double charged for the drinks , straight away I questioned it and a refund was apparently put through. I still have not received my money back. Bang out of order if I was lied to just for their benefit. If the restaurant looks at this message i wish them to do the right thing

Wasn't sure from the outside, not the most appealing. But thought we would try as we only wanted a drink and something basic. To be honest I couldn't even tell it was open from the outside. My daughter is coeliac so we are used to just getting her chips and asking if those are gluten free. To our surprise they had a gluten free menu! Absolutely brilliant. She chose the star burger on gluten free bread. It was basically a butterflied chicken breast on a bun with chips and salad. Absolute find! I'm always looking for places that make her feel "normal" so we were over the moon. Will definitely visit again next time we come. They need to spruce up the outside and make it more inviting (and look open 😂) that's my only criticism.

Good food, we had a large selection from 6 kids meals and 6 adult meals and on the whole very satisfied. But and a big but… the music whilst eating is way too loud whilst you’re trying to enjoy your food. If it was near 9pm then I could totally understand the loud music but at family meal time it’s a bit much. All together a decent place and lovely staff.

The jewel in Ingoldmells crown!! Great family showbar with lots of entertainment and the fireworks display in Summer!! There's an 80s night on a Wednesday in Summer with The Electric 80s show!! Food is amazing , the beer is great and the staff are lovely and hard working!! The best bar by far!!

Think this restaurant and bar should be absolutely ashamed of all that was on shift today. I told the staff that my chips were cold on my meals, for the man at the hot counter to argue with me and tell me that they shouldn’t be cold rubbing his hands all over the chips on the hot counter. To then be waiting another 30 minutes just for some chips when others with us had already finished their meals. Then as we are walking out all staff were saw pointing, laughing and saying things about us as although we had left the restaurant some of my family were still inside and came out to tell us. I think the staff need to be spoken to about their conduct, I would also like a phone call or something of an apology as I genuinely think this was absolutely disgraceful👍

Been coming here religiously every year for the steak and ale pie - I will not be returning for food again. Over priced and the quality is not what it once was. Used to get a massive pie with big chunks of steak. I could count on one hand the tiny pieces of steak I got in the pie and it’s 3x smaller than it used to be. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOOD ANYMORE

A nice large open venue with singers on the weekend aswell as Cash Bingo (which is a bit of harmless fun for all) A good array of alcohol, a lovely decking area outside with great views over Fantasy Island and Ingoldmells Market, on a sunny day, its delightful. Large screens for sports, they serve food and sweets for any visiting children. Would recommend and visit again as had a nice time here

Great little bar for fish and chips
