I ordered the plate for 1 with salmon and replaced the rice for salad, honestly I was expecting some tomato and maybe other vegetable in the salad, to make the dish more balanced, however the salmon was cooked to perfection, crispy outside and moist inside. There was a creamy sauce that was supposed to be heavy cream with almonds but it was clear that it was thickened with flour, not the best. I would recommend the salmon alone

Unfortunately the overall experience was bad. They have a great location and really rustic interiors and have that local beach restaurant vibe, but the service was just average, the waiters were all grouped up and did not even notice us waiting/calling them for a while. The appetizers were Delicious! The crab cake and even squid was delicious, but the main course was not good at all. Under seasoned, over cooked beef and dry salmon. I did enjoy the Moscow mule and beer on tap by other than that I'm sorry to say I would not recommend this place. With just more attention to details they can do much better.

Since I speak only English and none of the wait staff spoke English I took a shot in the dark and pointed at something on the menu. My friend did the same. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. Mine, on the right, was shrimp and some sort of white fish. The other dish was shrimp, squid, and another white fish. The Caipirinhas are perfectly made too.

I do not recommend this place at all. I wasted two hours in the so-called ‘priority’ queue, only to experience complete mismanagement by the host, Mr. Mauricio. The waiting list was handled terribly, and it was clear that they had no real system in place. It’s incredibly frustrating when you’re told the wait will be 30 minutes to an hour, only for it to stretch far beyond that. Do yourself a favor—don’t waste your time here. Their time estimates are completely unreliable. To the management: I strongly recommend adopting a more organized and automated system, like the one used at Outback. Their system works efficiently and fairly, ensuring customers get accurate wait times and a better overall experience. Implementing something similar could significantly improve customer satisfaction and avoid the chaos I experienced.

Let’s say it was super busy so we did expect to be waiting to get served. However the service was incredibly disorganised and the first time somebody came to ask if we were served was 40 min after seeing us seated . The number of the staff seemed sufficient but they were running around without a clear system to attend the clientele. Once we finally got noticed and managed to order the food arrived fairly quick I had a “ salada completa” and I believe it worth the R$ 66 as the greens were very fresh. My daughter ordered prawns R$ 138 and a fried squid R$ 88 which she did not enjoy as much because overly cooked in pretty old oil. Again to catch the attention of the waiter was challenging so overall the stars. Last but not least the toilets: 3 female cubicles but only 2 have doors so beware of when you step out of your doored one.

Mediocre food at best, some dishes overly salted, others dry (mixed fish) and with too little flavor. Service was good, location is nice but I expect more for this money.

Every time I travel to Maresias, I try to stay in the beach section in front of Badaue. It has the most tasty food which you can order with the waiters that attend the area. Never eaten actually inside the restaurant but the food I usually order is always delicious. Sometime the beach area is full so we have to find another location but this is by far my favorite area to say while at the beach. I feel bad sometime for the servers since they are out all day under the sun which sometimes is hard to find someone to attend you. But over all they are great and the food is good.

My mom and I both got the salmon with passion fruit chutney and risotto and got horrible food poisoning. We have both been throwing up for hours. It’s a shame because the environment and landscaping is absolutely beautiful, but the food was not great and made us sick.
