We went to Sardine for dinner around 5:40 pm and had such a wonderful experience. The kitchen opened at 6 pm, so while we waited, the staff offered us drinks and seated us in a lovely spot. When the kitchen opened, they guided us to another table and provided excellent service from the very start. They even placed napkins on us, cleared the extra cutlery, and brought warm towels so we could clean our hands before eating a very nice touch. The service was flawless. The waiters were attentive, polite, and respectful it felt like they were always there just when we needed something, without being intrusive. The food was absolutely amazing. I loved my main dish so much (the grilled octopus perfectly cooked!) that I ordered another one. My husband really enjoyed his chicken dish as well, and the starters we tried were also excellent. We also had a couple of cocktails, which were fresh and delicious. Overall, an amazing dining experience. Beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service, and food that truly impressed us. Highly recommend Sardine 5 stars without a doubt!

Sardine is an absolute standout in Bali. The setting is simply stunning, overlooking the rice fields with moody lighting and a live DJ providing the perfect chill soundtrack. The atmosphere strikes a beautiful balance between relaxed and refined. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional – we tried the tuna bites, crab gnocchi, whole fish, potato mash, and octopus, and every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavour. A perfect spot for a memorable evening in Bali. Highly recommended.

Amazing foods and atmosphere here. Staffs are well trained and great mannered. Got DJ playing on our arrival time and boosting our appetites before delicious foods. These are what we ordered, though a bit pricey but if not that matter then why not giving it a try?

Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Seminyak. From the entrance into the dining area- overlooking the paddy field with atmospheric lighting, wonderfully sized artistic backdrop and DJ playing sublime melodic tunes, to the exquisite menu, with outstanding recommendations from the excellent Staff to the quality of the food. We absolutely loved this place. Cannot wait to return.

We loved everything about our dinner experience at Sardine. From the moment we were welcomed at the door, the cool towels, delicious food, cocktails and service from the staff. We enjoyed a drink on the sofas overlooking the rice paddy too. A special mention and thank you to Komang for her friendly and excellent service. Had such a fun girls’ night out! Amazing food and beautiful ambiance with rice field views. Loved the cabaret show during dinner. After that, we partied at Les Toilette, a hidden gem in Seminyak. So much fun!

Fantastic lunch spot with unbeatable views! Sea Salt is the perfect place for a relaxed lunch by the ocean. The restaurant has a modern coastal vibe, and the beachfront setting is absolutely stunning — definitely a 5-star location. The food was fresh and beautifully presented — from the grilled prawns to the fried rice and dumplings, everything tasted great and paired well with a cold drink in the tropical atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, highly recommend for a leisurely lunch while enjoying the sea breeze. Knocked off one star only because the food, while delicious, didn’t quite hit the same wow factor as the view — but still well worth the visit!

We start from the very beginning — the reception was wonderful and very friendly. The sea view at sunset was absolutely stunning! Then we were served an amazing complimentary dish with a beautiful presentation — black salt with flavored butter and premium sourdough bread. The salad had a unique and exotic tropical mix — I’d rate it 9/10. The seafood dish was outstanding — 10/10. The fish dish was also great — 9/10. The service overall was truly exceptional!

The atmosphere is lovely being right on the ocean. We were there for the Sunset- BEAUTIFUL BUT the service is ridiculous. You will wait endlessly for anyone to get a drink or food order. And they don’t come back to check on drink refills at all. Which meant they missed HUGE opportunities to make money. The food is quite nice - we had the pork and seafood. The pork however was tough. As for the cost- regardless of your party size they very sneakily add on $100+ AUSD for a service fee and resort fee. So don’t feel you need to tip. It’s written in the finest print on a menu. Still a shock because as I said- service was ridiculous (terrible).

On the pricer side for the island but the food and service was amazing. Thank you to Ayu for her lovely hospitality! We loved all the dishes but the chowder was the highlight!!!!

Our dining experience at the Seasalt restaurant at The Ailia was amazing and memorable. All staff from the moment you walk in were friendly, polite and helpful. Our host for the evening was Dewi. She was knowledge, charming and excellent photographer. The food was fresh, exquisite and delicious. There is so much more on the menu i would love to experience. Thank you Seasalt. I will return and stay at The Ailia.

Straight up mid. Aesthetically the place is really nice. It’s right on the beach and the atmosphere is nice. However for one of the most expensive restaurants in the area I really felt the food was lacking. They first bring you bread with some mackerel mayonnaise. Very mayonnaise forward. I’m sorry but it’s basically just eating bread with mayonnaise (not even an aioli) which is something I did when I was broke. Not something im trying to do at this point in my life. Regular butter would have been better than mayonnaise with the tiniest amount of mackerel mixed in. Then to actually get the food it took quite a long time. This is what bothers me. Because I came to this restaurant very hungry. We Ordered 2 mains, a side dish, an appetiser, and the bread, and after it all I was still hungry. I’m 170 lb man, not over weight. Extremely average male physique so this should have been enough food for me. After hours of waiting to get food, eat it, for one of the most expensive restaurants in the area, I literally went home and ordered a cheese burger off of grab because I was still hungry. I understand if the restaurant wants to save money with the proteins but even giving 2 pieces of asparagus when you’re only giving 120 grams of fish is ridiculous. It becomes a waste of time at that point. What am I supposed to do? Wait another 30 minutes for another side dish to come out? The food itself tasted okay. Nothing that’s like “oh you have to try this”. It was all just okay. It was plated well with a strong attention to aesthetics. It looks better than it tastes and portions are weak. Service and the staff were amazing. Over all the place is mid.

The environment is amazing—beachfront, cozy interior, nice and warm lighting. Service was generally good, but there were a number of minor mistakes, e.g., they forgot to give essential utilities, and the food was unclearly explained. I appreciated their surprise of bringing me a free cake because I had noted it was my birthday celebration. However, the seafood quality is questionable. The grilled seafood platter was presented not even warm but at room temperature. The prawns, octopus, and crab were mushy. On the other hand, the dress code requirements were strange. I was required to wear a shirt to cover my vest. But I saw another gentleman wearing sportswear and a vest. This inconsistency made me puzzled.

Good seafood in Jimbaran - the lobster and crab were very tasty. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, and communication was difficult as staff didn’t speak English well. For example, we asked for a salad and were told it was small and that we should each order one - but we ended up with five large salads, enough for a full lunch each! Great seafood, but service and communication need improvement.

The grilled fish was perfect. The clams and the sauce that went with them were delicious. The papaya juice was very fresh. We sat right by the beach and really loved the view plus the “soundwaves.” Weekday lunch was not crowded which was preferred.

Service was slow, food was okay. Had seafood platter for 2 and for 1. Only downside was it started to rain 3/4 of the way so , we had to rush in bringing your own food, nevertheless the inside was full and limited seats. If you notice a drop of rain. Head inside with the food from your beach table straight away …..good experience must try , though a little wait

Great location area for watching sun set. Have to queue in line for table. Not many seafood choice. Cooking style a little bit oily. Grilled ones overcooked caused lobster bitter. Asking for chilly sauce twice however no one help. Service and foods not impressive.

Great seafood, very fresh and ok prices. - Long wait for outdoor seating (recommended), - The staff cant speak english well and given it will be very busy, recommended to bring someone who speak bahasa indonesia along. - You will be charged IDR 10k if your taxiride stopped inside the compound (most driver got taken by surprise too) so stop outside and walk inside the compound.

Menega now has an indoor area with AC! Very clean. Recommend if you dont want too much smoke smell. Pro tip: the CLAMS are the best. 1 portion has 14 clams. I recommend MINIMUM 1 portion per person. We came as 2 adults and ate 6 portions.

We loved our experience at Fisherman’s club. Dinnertime is delicious, where you can choose your own fish to grill. You can also order the platter which is a lot of food and is great value. Staff were absolutely amazing. We also ate here for lunch the next day, they have an extensive lunch menu and everything was delicious.

Fantastic service from the crew here. We had dinner here and as the sun began to set, there wasn’t enough lighting at the table as we sat outdoors to enjoy the sea breeze so the staff provided very handy portable ring lights so that we could pick the bones out of our grilled red snapper. So we truly appreciated the kind Food was also excellent. Cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The dirty potatoes side was particularly delicious!

Best seafood I had in Bali. It’s a little expensive compared to other places, but you’re still getting premium quality fish for a super affordable price. The freshness is insane and all the dishes are creative and so tasty. The atmosphere is fancy but not uptight, super nice staff

We went to the restaurant with our family this evening and ordered the captain’s seafood platter, calamari, and chicken nuggets for the children. The seafood and fish platter was sufficient for two adults and very delicious, the calamari were excellent, and the children really enjoyed the nuggets. Lovely atmosphere and outstanding service.

Way overrated. Very nice place with excellent fresh food and service. Good quality, but... very expensive. The saxo was playing too loud so, in the tables near the DJ, the music may be a bit disturbing. For dinner, we had one grilled fish, octopus (which we didn't enjoy because it was too tough and tasteless), and four grilled king prawns, which were very tasty. Some sauces were included. To drink, we had two lemonades, and for dessert, we shared a crème brûlée with coconut ice cream. The waiter forgot the extra spoon and we had to ask for it. During the dinner I asked for bread, which came with butter—50 IDR for 3 slices. The whole experience was good, but in my opinion, this place is not worthy the total price for 2 people: 1,300,000 IDR for such a dinner is way too much, as we are in Indonesia, it would be fair in Europe. All waiters were very nice and professional.

We tried Fisherman’s Club while staying at Andaz Hyatt and were very impressed! We ordered the Honey Chicken, Korean Vegan Bibimbab, and Udon Noodles with butter sauce for our kids, along with an unsweetened iced tea. The food was amazing—especially the Honey Chicken! It’s probably the best chicken we’ve ever had—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The Bibimbab was generously portioned and delicious as well. I also appreciate that the staff paid close attention to food allergies, which means a lot since both of my kids have allergies. The only small issue was that our unsweetened iced tea came out slightly sweet because of the peppermint leaves, but the staff quickly replaced it with a new one without any fuss. Overall, excellent food and attentive service. Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant inside a hotel, right by the sea. the view is stunning and adds to the experience. The menu is varied with plenty of delicious options, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our meal. Everything was fresh and flavorful. They also offer a kids’ menu, which is great for families. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re nearby!

It just felt average, food wasn’t overly exciting. Atmosphere wasn’t exciting. Beautiful outlook for sunset, just felt it was over priced for just average food and drink. There’s a lot of other places with comparable sunset views, though have an elevated quality of food and drink for the same price. The place isn’t bad, I just didn’t feel wowed for an experience that was so expensive. The setting is on a beach, the kids brought a ball and kicked it on the beach (away from restaurant) allowing adults to unwind. This made it a very family friendly place.

Lovely place to have dinner by the beach. Not loud, calming sounds of the waves. Service was very friendly. We had 3 mains, 2 desserts, and a few drinks for a total of Rp1.65 million. The barramundi and seafood platter were excellent. Beautiful plating and presentation. Pricey but well worth the experience especially on a clear day. The chef gave us complimentary mocktails. The only suggestion I have is to put in a place a better mechanism for catching the attention of the waiters. We had to wait a long time sometimes to get a waiter to our table. Perhaps have a bell or train the waiters to always pay attention and be on the lookout in case someone needs assistance. We would come back again.

The staff are super friendly especially Cinta, she is amazing host, she blessed everyone walking in to the restaurant and very kind. The food is beyond my expectations, it’s superb. They support local fishermen so most if the seafood they get from local. The cocktails is good and interesting mix as well. Definitely good place to have dinner and sunset.

Not sure how much I can rave about this restaurant. The atmosphere from the time of arrival is second to none. Great ambiance, lighting and immediate hospitality from this exceptional staff! The decor is very traditional Balinese and places right on the beach. Overhead seating as well as outdoor beach seating is available. Nightly live music creates a very surreal relaxing feel before,during and after the meal is complete. The ocean breeze on a very clean beach and in addition lounge chairs to sit back and watch the sunset before you take a table for a meal. Again the staff is the backbone of this outstanding restaurant from the guys at the bar to the host, waiters and chefs. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and tasting the food from the executive chef ...Chef Adi and this man is a culinary genius! The brilliant presentation and art of his cooking. The seasoning perfection and culinary Decadence is definitely Top tier! I suggest making a trip to this property for anyone visiting Bali. This place is magical and a staple in Jimbaran second to none.

Is very lovely restaurant with a great location, set right on the beach you have a beautiful view of the Jimbaran bay. The service was great and attentive. Perfect place for a romantic lunch or dinner. Meals were a little nouvelle cuisine, small and overpriced and slight under seasoned. I guess my expectation was high after reading some reviews and speaking to a few friends.

The food is really good, and the service is excellent. The terrace views are also very nice and allow you to relax and enjoy during your culinary experience. However, be aware that those are european restaurant prices, so it is an expensive restaurant. You'll spend at least 500k per person.

Potato head beach club is a great place to go for drinks, food, sunset view, great music and vibes. Entrance fee varies according to area you wanna stay or time but I chose before 4pm and entrance was free. The cauliflower bites were good, tasty, the vegetarian sandwich was served in like a focaccia bread, flavorful but a bit too big. Music is always popping, you get to make friends at the bar as well or if you wanna chill by yourself it’s fine too

This is hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Every single staff member at Potato Head was unbelievably kind — from the duty manager and Rasti at the suite breakfast restaurant, to the buggy drivers, entrance staff, housekeepers, and everyone in between. Their warmth and hospitality were on another level. I’ve traveled to many countries, but I’ve never experienced service this genuine and friendly. The facilities were beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. I felt truly happy staying here (well… except for the Bali belly 😅). Thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable. 🫶✨

Amazing experience. What an ambience and a team of professionals who take good care of you. Food is delicious and the view is breathtaking. The manager Bren was a great guy who took care of a small issue we had with grace. Novan served us and delivered an outstanding experience which is why we will come back again the next time we are in Bali. I highly recommend this restaurant/resort.

Aesthetically pleasing, great initiative with plastics. Service was polite, but at 1300, service was very slow. Slow enough that my drink had accumulated quite the condensation on it by the time it arrived, as it has been sitting out waiting i suppose. A cool beverage at best. Seating is comfortable, view is nice, not sure if menu is the same everywhere in the establishment, but seemed somewhat limited in the food and cocktail sections. Staff very polite. Did not eat due to slow service already.

3rd time visiting this beach club and the first time booking a total of 4 day beds for my party of 20+ guest after a post wedding celebration get together. Great service which was way better then my prior experiences which was a refreshing change.good food options too

I visited this beautiful place last month with my husband. From the very entrance, I loved everything because it’s uniquely different and you don’t get the feeling that you’re going to a regular pool hahah. The guest area also impressed me, since we booked a spot with mattresses placed on the grass, where, along with the price of the sunbeds, you also get food 🤩 The view of the ocean and the waves was absolutely cinematic that day 🌊✨

The architectural design of this venue alone is a sight to behold, videos and pictures simply don’t do it justice. The views and design elevate this place to true bucket-list status. The service is world-class, the food is exceptional, and the shisha service is supreme. It’s uncontested why Rock Bar is consistently ranked as one of the top lounges in the world, and I will gladly second that choice. This place is absolutely breathtaking. The view is super nice IF you can a good seat. And obviously the nice view seat only for the guest and we, walk in guest just to bring to the designated table depends on luck. We got the seat only can see 20% of the sunset. The waitress are super good as in every time they are around to serve us. The food is so so. I went there around 530pm and by 645+, the sky is dark and we can’t see anything. There’s minimum spend too for walk in guest so we have to order something to enjoy the view. Also, it was so hot without any wind

A great place to watch the sunset in Bali. Located in the Ayana resort grounds, you will be guided to the entrance. I had a good seat to watch the sunset and the sea view. The drinks were delicious and the decoration was beautiful. One of the most valuable and unforgettable experiences for me in Bali, and I want to come back here again. My raw pictures are not enough to capture the dreamy, vast and brilliant beauty here, you should come and experience it yourself. From Vietnam with love.

finally got to experience rock bar as we got complimentary 10% off as in house guests from Ayana. the vibe was everything! and the drinks were delicious. we had Sunset Dragon & requested Long Island which was not in the menu book. worth the hype. definitely coming back again. notes for Rockbar (if u’re reading this): please add some fan or anything to make sure that we could enjoy the night better. last time we were there, the wind was absent and it was so humid & hot. thank you!

I am the first to say how amazing the Rock Bar is… I have been many times. But this time I couldn’t believe that they are charging approx $15 AUD for a 380 ml bottle of water and a can of coke/sprite. Just wow. Food was good, but I was disappointed they did not have the lamb available. Overall a beautiful place and experience but stop charging $15 for a can of coke! Staff have also become much younger and they do not understand a lot of English. Which also made it hard to communicate. Customer service was not their best this visit.

Awesome experience that is well worth the journey and the perhaps marked up prices or the bar. Go for sunset, and go early around 4.30-5pm to ensure you get in, and get a nice spot. There is a minimum price for either the Tapas or the Dinner (sit down at dining area), but if you grab a couple of cocktails each or a drink and some food, you will hit this no worries The food is nothing to write home about, but it gets the job done if you are wanting to eat here. The main sell is the absolutely amazing setting - there is nothing like it in Bali. It's truly an experience worth visiting, with an amazing vibe, music, drinks, and atmosphere.

We followed recommendations of two friends and came here for our last dinner yesterday. The place is super nice with a cozy and intimate atmosphere, dinner lights, tasteful interior and a lot of greenery. The food here is excellent and offers informed dishes from Indonesia, India and Thailand. My favorites would be their signature crispy pork belly and the 8 hour slow cooked beef, the most interesting was an Indian infused snapper ceviche. We finished with the dessert tasting plate which was pure indulgence and a bit too big for the three of us. I thought the free flow sparkling water was a great idea even though after the main courses the refill intervals grew a bit longer apart. Service here too we excellent and the staff was not only attentive but also have great recommendations how to choose the course of our meal. Terimakasih for a wonderful evening.

Summary: Absolutely delicious food, romantic ambience. Slightly pricey by Bali standards. Service was good but a tad slow. Must try the lamb curry and crispy chicken Sarong is a fusion Asian restaurant, influences are mainly from Indian cuisine, the curry is fragrant but not overly spicy. The grilled fish was excellent. Overall its worth a visit, the service was a tad slow and its off peak so the restaurant wasn't packed, our mains took almost an hour. If it isn't windy, it can get a bit warm.

Definitely worth a visit as it lives up to the word of mouth praised by others. Dimly lit fancy decor and comfortable seating, only wish it was air conditioned. Meals were amazing and full of flavour with clear use of fresh ingredients. Will definitely go back, next time I'm in Bali.

Sarong was one of the restaurants that people highly recommended. I made a reservation a week ago and went there for a dinner. Their signature menu; Sichuan crispy pork belly and chicken curry were amazing. Price might be a little bit expensive compare to other dishes in Bali but it worths ! Good atmosphere and nice food. A little bit hot inside and no AC were the only negative thing.

The moment you step into Sarong you hear jazz. Course after Indian inspired course, you’ll leave satiated. I came back in late December 2021 after they opened up again. There were some kinks that need to be ironed out, sure, but the food and service overall were great.

Me and my wife Decided to try this restaurant after seeing the reviews. Having been in Bali for few days were used to the humble and welcoming attitude but we got a reality check here when we told we didn't have a reservation. We were told we could only sit outdoor and all the table inside were booked. We were actually about to ask if we could take the table outdoor, but the indifference from the staff prevented us from interacting with them further. The ambiance was good, but the place is not air conditioned, might be very unpleasant during summer.We had high expectations about tbe food but it was not worth bearing with the unprofessional and rude staff. There's absolutely nothing special about this place. The quantity they serve is laughable. We Felt like we were eating in a wannabe Asian restaurant where majority of the dishes are of Indian influence, alas they don't treat Indians like they do the caucasian customers

Disappointed with the food quality and freshness! Within 2 minutes of placing our order, the fried fish, fried shrimp, and all vegetables arrived at our table. All at room temperature! Not a lot of flavor. Seafood was fried hours before serving. Not fresh! 20 minutes later they served us the hot and fresh Gurame Menari fish. When we go to a seafood restaurant that charges these prices, we expect fresh and hot food. This place didn’t do that unfortunately! On a positive note, the restaurant is beautiful and service was good.

Upon arrival, greeted by a waitress for two of us. It's pleasant at first, but when I request for a private table by the side of the water, she told me there's a min charge of 600k which is fine to me. I ask her for the menu to see if 2 person can order more than 600k but her looks is like looking down on us that we cannot afford one after I ask for the menu to see first. Anyway, after looking at the menu, I feel the price is quite affordable and hard to achieve 600k unless I order crabs. I proceeded to ask for the table by the water and try order crabs but was told the crab I like is spicy. So I ordered two type of prawns and a dish of clams. The salted egg prawns is a total letdown. Came from Sanur to eat here, previously been twice. Make sure you book if you require a small bale. Think there a minimum spend of 600k. Food was very reasonable price and the set menu is plentiful, however please note if they say it’s spicy it is very spicy so be aware. We can eat food Thai spicy and their version of spicy is quite hot. Good time , use the mozzy repellant in the table on your legs and ankles , there a bamboo near the edge of the bale , ise it knock on it to call the waiter / waitress otherwise you’ll be waiting for a while. Can also smoke there ….

I had an amazing dining experience at Bale Udang! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Balinese flavors. The atmosphere was so relaxing with beautiful surroundings — it felt like a peaceful escape. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Bali!

Tried the fried fish, salted egg prawn, and fruit platter. The fish is average, salted egg prawn has very soft texture, does not taste fresh. Fruits are okay. The ice lemon tea tastes like lime instead of lemon. The service is amazing, waitress is attentive and friendly. Restaurant has a nice view at dawn till night.

Came here Oct ‘25— Food is okok, very overpriced ; lobster ~500g is SGD$80 ish; so it’s like a Jumbo Seafood kinda price for this place in bali. Customer service is non-existent. But halal restaurant options are so extremely limited in Bali that ppl might still come here . It’s a pretty place, nice ambience but food wise — quality quantity and taste : nope nope nope. What can I say. I’m a regular to Bali and the Jimbaran and Bukit area. Lia Cafe is hands down the best restaurant on the beach for the ultimate Jimbaran Seafood experience. Not only are their prices for groups reasonable, their portion and sauces are delightful! I’ve taken all my friends who travel to Bali here. They loved it! Some have even given the other restaurants a chance just to try their luck but came back to Lia, everytime. Watching the sun go down with your drink of choice can’t be beat, and then experiencing your dinner with your friends or loved ones completes the outing. If you book with them earlier in the day you can request unobstructed view seats. Having said that, any table on the sand will be amazing. Please do yourself a favour and come here for your sunset meal :)

It’s located at long stretch of seafood restaurants at Jimbaran beach. The restaurant is located at the cheaper end of the stretch with smaller adjoining shops compared to the big standalone shops at the other side They supposed to have indoor seating but during jun’25 there’s construction ongoing that there’s only seating right at the beach and you have to walk through wooden planks to get there. Otherwise the ambience at the beach is quite nice with the sea waves sound, fireworks from afar and other shops having live band. Quite local feel though it’s all catered to tourist The seafoood is quite nice and relatively fresh. Had the 400k package which is good portion for 2-3 The fish is quite fresh with no fishy taste and the meat is tender. It’s a simple grilled style and would have been perfect if the meat has natural sweetness. But can’t complain for the price. The clams and prawns are cooked in Balinese sauce which is abit like more savoury tomato sauce. While the prawns are not fishy but it’s slightly mushy n stick to the prawns. It’s can eat but I’m very particular with seafood freshness. The clams also slightly fishy The best for me is the crispy fried prawns. Their batter taste almost like kfc fried chicken so it’s very addictive. The prawns weee whole and fresh too Their crispy fried calamari also uses the same batter but the prawns taste nicer All packages comes with rice, vegetables and fruits. I like the vegetable like stirred fried Kang Kong and it has a nice sauce to it but it’s served cold The service is also very good and staff very friendly Recommend to come try it you looking for more local beachy feel, value for money seafood that’s not fishy and relatively fresh

The restaurant is located at the Jimbaran beachfront, where you can sit around and watch sunset while enjoy beers. It is not crowded and the food is decent, but not giving us surprise taste for the price. Some seafood dishes are fresh and wellcooked, some are not. However we dont have high expectation for a place with beautiful beach view anyway. Anyway still a good place to hang around. Service is quick. Staff suggests for tips as there is no service charge.

Very affordable and great quality seafood. The fried calamari is simple but excellent. You need to walk down the beach and walk towards the left to find this as they’re not one of the major restaurants in the area. However you can get better quality food for less than half the price.

Great view, we had toro stone grill/ lobster, and unfortunately my partner got really bad Bali belly. We had not eaten outside of any resorts, we think food at W hotel must have been the culprit. I liked the view! Very romantic with sunset.

We had lovely drinks and a casual dinner here. It’s set a little away from the livelier Woo Bar, which suited us as we were after a calmer spot. There are a few tables right on the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. Before dinner, we had a stroll around the rest of the W, which is very flashy and over the top in a fun way - not quite our vibe but nice to visit for an evening.

Fabulous first evening in Seminyak at Starfish Bloo. Staff were super efficient & great service from the moment we arrived. Sashimi Salmon was very fresh & good quality. Soft Shell grab delicious & a good size serving, SFP super nice. Have booked again on Friday Night. Fantastic location & atmosphere situated right on the beach.

This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere very calm and elegant. We were served by Eli who was just wonderful and so friendly and helpful. The food was simply fantastic, we had grilled octopus legs and shrimp which were delicious but the red snapper fillet was the best fish we had in ages. Cannot recommend it enough!

It was a pleasant discovery, everything was delicious. We even saw a traditional dance at no extra cost! The service was perfect too! P.S. I loved the lemon water to rinse the fishy smell off my hands, and the gloves for cleaning the crab! It's the little touches that make them top-notch!

This place has very nice seating with a balcony overlooking the town below. Food was delicious. Prices were high compared to other similar shops in Bali, similar to what you'd pay in Sydney. But definitely worth a visit. Grilled prawns were 10/10.

Finally came here too, heard this restaurant from a friend! The spiced snapper fish is extremely soft, the mussels are also delicious, it's my first time trying kluwak chilli sauce, I don't regret it at all! I think this is worth a try! Traditional music accompanies you during the meal, there are many Balinese carvings in every corner. I will be back again.

I recently visited a highly recommended restaurant in Surabaya and decided to drop in without a reservation on a Sunday. As soon as I arrived, I was impressed by the grand exterior and vibrant atmosphere. The interior continued that luxurious vibe, making it feel quite upscale, which was evident as the place was nearly full. After being seated, we noticed that the staff quickly recognized we were newcomers. They kindly allowed us to explore the menu without rushing us. The menu offered a wide selection, but I must admit, the prices were on the higher side for Surabaya. We finally made our choices, ordering a prawn dish, squid, vegetables, and fried rice. I wondered if this would be too much for just two of us, but the captain reassured us that it would be fine. When the food arrived, I ranked the dishes as follows: Fried Rice, Prawn, Vegi, and lastly, the Squid. The salted egg squid, unfortunately, fell flat and was quite plain for my taste. We didn’t finish it and ended up packing it to take back to our hotel, but ultimately, we wasted it the next day. Overall, I found the restaurant to be a great spot for dinner, with a lovely ambiance, but I believe the food could use some improvements. Unless it’s a special occasion, I might explore other dining options in the area next time.

The place was really nice, clean and comfy. The food is delicious, but its just not my style. The spices is just to bold for me.

This extra touch really elevated the overall dining experience! Overall, the dining experience was fantastic. We went to Kisik for another birthday dinner. I had been looking for a local seafood spot with a nice sunset view and this place delivered. Luckily, the weather was perfect when we went. We had a 5.30 PM reservation and got a beautiful sunset with a dramatic sea view and crashing waves. The only downside is that you’re facing the sun directly at that time, so be ready for a bit of heat and sweat until the sun goes down lol. The seafood was actually really tasty. It’s part of a resort, so the prices are higher than regular seaside seafood places in Jimbaran, but the view and the peaceful atmosphere (with only restaurant guests around) made up for it. Our server was very friendly, checked in often, and even helped us take some great sunset photos. Overall, it was a lovely birthday dinner topped off with a stunning sunset.

We arrived at the beachside KISIK restaurant before sunset after completing check-in at AYANA Segara Hotel in the afternoon, and we were fortunate enough to witness the beautiful Bali sunset. KISIK restaurant mainly focuses on BBQ, and every seat in the restaurant offers a stunning sea view. We really enjoyed the taste of the seafood Giant Skewers and SATAY skewers. During dinner, we ate barbecue, drank, listened to the sound of the waves, and admired the incomparable beautiful sea view. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

AYANA KISIK Seafood BBQ 🐚🦞... .:*・° Unlocking Indonesian satay! It's a rich, sauce-laden experience. It's a sweet and salty combination. A beautiful outdoor restaurant by the sea, so romantic. The grounds are covered with fine white sand, and the beach is right next to it. The sound of the waves is truly breathtaking. Long waves stretch along the coast.

I took the family there for my wife's birthday. Absolutely breathtaking views. Superb service. The food was fresh and of exceptional quality. Pricing was very reasonable - not cheap, but not outrageous either. A must visit for a memorable occasion

The lounge is a hidden gem! We didn't dine at the seafood restaurant. Instead, there is a bar/lounge where you can see the most beautiful sunset and enjoy the yummy cocktails. Really recommend their golden hour specials! They even gave us free crackers (maybe because we are Ayana guests) and a rose! How romantic! I really recommend you come here for predrinks, take some beautiful photos and then head to the seafood restaurant next door!

The food is average and the service didn’t quite meet expectations. The oysters aren’t that great, but worth the price to try. They do have a solid lobster deal—50% off on Fridays and Sundays. I actually love their jumbo shrimps. One thing that stood out: this is the only place where we ordered a bottle of wine, but the waiter neither opened it nor poured it into our glasses. The service could definitely be much better.

Food was great, every dish tasty and would recommend. We went in for a lunch, had a feast and had everything in the photo + drinks for around $100 bucks! Service, tbh, servers seemed like it wasn’t their shift to work😂 wasn’t a dealbreaker for me though. Came here after seeing a TikTok recommending their fresh oysters. They were really good - fresh, not fishy at all, and some even tasted sweet. The price was also very reasonable. I also tried the Choco Mouse dessert, and it was excellent, not too sweet. For parking, you can’t park directly in front since the area is more pedestrian friendly, but there’s a large parking lot nearby, shared with Petitenget Beach parking area

Bali Shrimpis is one of our go-to spots! The aglio olio and tacos were such a nice surprise — super tasty and well done. We always order the fried calamari, it’s a must-have every time we visit. The staff are so friendly and attentive, they really make you feel welcome. Always a great experience here!

Fresh oysters were pretty value for money, 15000IDR per oyster and min. order of 6pcs. They tasted fresh and sweet. Most importantly, did not cause any issues with my tummy. The grilled prawns were also tasty, but priced slightly higher at 195000IDR per 250grams (about 8 pcs of prawn). Not the cheapest, but good and fragrant taste. Would visit again for the fresh oysters! Nasi goreng seemed nice based on reviews but too pricey in my opinion so I skipped that.

Amazing experience here with great vibe. Shrimp sashimi is one of the best in my life. It was so fresh and tasty. Also, fish and chips was also good, well matched with Bintang beer. Next time, I would like try grilled Shrimp.

Delicious and very fresh food - we had the pepes ikan and Balinese curry - both perfectly cooked. Ketut also makes a very, very good margarita. We stayed at Blue Moon and still love the place (10 years since the last visit). It's a little dated and worn, but incredibly well taken care of, comfortable beds, very clean and the staff are amazing.

Had to get their attention when a drink order was missed. Could have been a bit more attentive. Overall a charming place to eat if staying in the Ibus Beach area of Amed.

Went back here after more than two decades i think? As suggested by my dad who brought us here whole family back then. Decided to be back here as fullgrown adult. The taste is like no other. Brings back memories 🌊 and what even better is the price. reasonably cheap compared than the others i think. They came with a package for 2 /4 so it's way easier for us to choose.the only downside is you may encounter many flies 😅 nevertheless the waitress are mindful enough and give us plastic wrap for our watermelon dessert. Still we eat in hurry bcs of flies. But it's not on the restaurant but the location itself - nature lol .inevitable.

Fresh seafood restaurant on the sand. We walked to different restaurants around and saw this one has the most fresh seafood. Choose and pick your own seafood and they will cool for you. Have view over airport and have music play and candle. Candle ia a but dark and hard to eat, you can ask them to bring better light. Very good price too

Excellent food and service, price is also reasonable, you can get plenty of food for less than 200k rupiah per person. I've been coming to this place 3 times, food is always consistent. Last time i came with a foreigner and they thoughtfully served us with less spicy sambal. Thank you, we will definitely come back.

I always come back to this place as they have one of the fresh seafood, plenty options to choose and the price is very reasonable. My favorite is BBQ Clamp with Special sauce! This is one of their favorite menu, ocean shrimp cook ala “goreng mentega”, crab 🦀 in black pepper, grilled red snapper and whole coconut… all are amazing! During sunset the place usually overly crowded but in the evening it’s quite pleasant. Jimbaran Beach is stunning, with some bbq corn sellers, view to other places, and some street musicians playing the oldies love songs… love the place.

This Layar have been favourite for many people at Surabaya, luxurious interior makes it proper to entertain guests or business dinner. Overall the food quality is always good. Live seafood and frozen depends on how deep your pocket is hahaha.

Great place for family gathering as they have big space and clean atmosphere, but food and service definitely need improvement. Love that they serve buffet of sambal, the fish were fresh, but the salted egg squid is overbearing… taste is fighting with each other to the point I cannot taste the squid anymore. Service DEFINITELY needs improvement, they are super slow and staff is all over the place. Recommended for a special occasion if you are patient with their serving time quality.

Been here for business lunch many times. Even though it's located far away from office, it's always worth it. First, the place was top tier, a spacious area with the best aircon everywhere. Service was always great, helpful staff, everything was great. Must try the Crab with Black pepper sauce. I tried the crab with Salted-egg which is their famous sauce but it goes better with the squid instead,honestly. Always impressed with their live seafood, as a sensitive tongue, I had no issue eating whatever they provided. Even their cake was enormous and nice! I recommended this place for anyone looking for high-quality food and pleasant ambiance. But surely you need to raise your budget for such experience.

We ordered all the live seafoods, Asap Ala Monster Crab, Steam Scallops / Bamboo Clams with garlic and Steam Vaname Prawns. All the dishes were prepared spot on to the tastes, flavour and leaving no rooms for negative remark. We love the smokey flavoured crab dish, very interesting way of cooking with loads of garlics, shallots and beef bacon❤️ I strongly recommend those who's willing to pay abit more for quality seafoods 👍

Place is huge. Perfect for gathering. Many vip rooms. Sambal ikan asin (free refill) is top notch. Kepiting asap bawang is recommended. Kepiting butter is also delicious (perfect for children) Fish skin salted egg is recommended too Steam garoupa with Hongkong style and bakar sambal rica were standard Dissapointment on their monster avocado dessert. Very watery and lack of avocado

This restaurant is always a favourite. The fishes and seafood are quite fresh. The style of their cooking is Makassar / Ujung Pandang / South Sulawesi style . The special dish that worth a try is the papakulu asap (smoked fish) It need a long time to cook this dish, so you'd better call the restaurant first , make reservation and order this fish so it will be ready by the time you arrive at this restaurant. The sambals is taste very good. They are generous with the sambals. There are 3 kinds of sambal if I'm not mistaken. But not too spicy if you are a high level of sambal eater . The fish is good but the service is bad! I got some badly cut escargot and ask for a change or refund. Instead of getting the kind service and sorry, they keep insisting that there’s nothing wrong with the food. When I gave them the proof and they ate it themselves, they eventually realized their mistake. At the end of the service, they dont even say sorry for the bad escargot! The cashier was not nice at all! I used to eat at that place frequently, however, I wont be back again!

Nice place to eat grilled fish. My favorite is grilled kecap gurami fish. Well you have to be patient because it takes time. But it is worth to wait. The meat was grilled well. You can easily take it off the skin. It means that the fish is not overcooked. But the service could be improved. Well after waiting for the fish, we still have to wait for the rice. Our food is getting cold and the rice was not yet there.. Maybe because i was very hungry that's why the waiting was worse to me. 😂 Well after rice was served, everything just fine and we really enjoyed the dinner. It is worth and we are going to come again.

Having a great dinner here, the seafoods are fresh, the staffs are kind, and we get a plate of kangkung for free. In high season, the beach tend to be crowded, but the beauty of the sunset worth to enjoy and make the dinner felt special.☺️

We were ready for an ala-ala candlelight dinner by the beach 😆, but of course, the rain decided to crash the party. Still, we had a great time! The seafood here is really good, fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. I especially loved how everything tasted like it came straight from the ocean. Definitely worth it for the food alone. But... a little note on the cleanliness. The handwashing area wasn’t well-maintained, a bit dirty and neglected, which was a bit disappointing for a place with such nice food and vibes. All in all, it’s still a great spot if you're in Jimbaran and craving seafood. Just maybe bring tissues and hand sanitizer just in case 😅

Food is not bad, but they need more flavour to make it tasty. Over all with 6 people dine in, we spend around 1juta 200ribu and we order lots of food. So the price is still reasonable. It's raining that day, so we can't enjoy dining on the beach.

Best meal of Bali here so far! More expensive than most places but that is due to the stunning location and fresh seafood! Ordered al la carte lobster, crab, snapper, prawns and squid and we actually got to pick the specific animals that we ate. The dinner came with rice and sautéed greens and we could barely finish it all. The grilled squid was the best squid I’ve ever had (and I’ve had lots around the world)

A restaurant located in front of the Purnama Hotel. It's quite famous but I never knew it exists until now. The outside look isn't quite appealing but the inside is the opposite. I think the main selling point is the large pond filled with koi and catfish below and beside the dining tables. The food is relatively quite pricey and the taste is average. But the service is fast and friendly tho. *sorry I forgot to take pics of the dishes

Caramelized butter is the best, my friends liked their creams too. I prefer their original than spicy (too overwhelming and hence numbing the oniony/garlicy taste). Their fried onions are disappointing, bottom part is too mushy and not crispy. Each order or crab comes with a free white rice. Reservations is highly recommended.

Before you go to this place, make sure you have asked them the availability of their menu (better to order ahead of time). I was having dinner with my family and they only have one vegetable menu (though we are able to order the main course like fish and chicken), and the cooking needs to be improved. They also need to upgrade their monitoring system and also the communication system between the waitresses and waiters. I can understand since it is crowded that day, but it makes me thinking twice if I want to go back and have another meals there (especially when we are entertaining guests)

One of my favourite restaurants for Indonesian food. Often come here for family dinner due to its close location to our home. Food and service is great, but the place at night is slightly dark and lots of mosquitoes, makes dining less enjoyable. Anything else is fine, dish portion and price is reasonable, good ambience too.

There's this crab place from East Java that's pretty famous. They've got branches outside of East Java too. The crab was decent, quite tasty. The grilled fish was well-seasoned, but the bean sprouts were just so-so. The place was clean, and they even put plastic covers on the tables.

The crab with asam manis sauce was excellent — sweet, tangy, and full of flavor. The portion was big and perfect for sharing. The fried calamari was crispy, and the stir-fried vegetables with clams gave a nice variety to the table. Service was fast and the food tasted fresh. A great place if you love seafood.

I visit cak gundul in pasuruan and in here. I quite surprise that the layout is identical. First floor is kitchen, second and third floor is dining room. The taste and portion is also consistent. I love it.

The scrawny thin chicken thigh in my photo costs IDR30k. For the average Indonesian, that price buys them a full meal. We also got the nasi goreng kambing & mee goreng. Especially liked the nasi goreng as it had a strong coconut fragrance to it & the kambing was soft & nicely cooked. It did take a whole 30mins+ for them to whip up the nasi goreng. We're joking that they're still slaughtering the kambing in their farm lol We also got the dessert which was good - but why wasn't the cup filled to the brim? Anywhere on the streets or malls, you'd get a nice serving. Unreasonable prices here for the meager portions. You can find much better food almost anywhere else in Indonesia. We're only here because the tour group is here & it has enough seats for us all.

Always crowded during lunch hours. Freindly staff but price bit on the higher side. Worth dropby to have light meal before depature from Juanda Airport. Ample parking lots.

Yoooo this meal was so good. I asked for their most popular dish and they gave me this piece of fish. I don't know what it was but it tasted like BBQ fish ribs, and there weren't many bones. Also the sambal was good, not too hot with a nice tomato flavour.

Here are our thoughts for each of the menu we ordered: 1. Ikan Bakar Dabu Dabu (6.0/10.0) - Dabu Dabu Grilled Fish We got 800 gr ikan katamba (emperor fish as per Google said). Dabu dabu is a traditional chili toppings made from tomato, shallot, chilli. The dabu dabu supposed to be spicy and salty, however, the dabu dabu is just too sweet. 2. Tumis Sawi (6.0/10.0) Again, this is just too sweet.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived at 6pm & all of the staff just sitting at one of the tables giggling & putting on make up! Although the staff seem lazy & service slow, the food on the other hand was great. A good sized fish cooked well & enough for two persons with rice & a side dish of bean sprouts & Tempe. The kitchen staff need to be congratulated & the restaurant staff need supervision as they spend too much time doing nothing!

A legendary local seafood restaurant. They only sell large fish (1 kg >) that is definitely too much for two persons. The portions are ideal for sharing, and they can accommodate two halves with different style or cooking/sauce. Even the rice is served in huge portion! The food really embodies the local Eastern Javanese style. The atmosphere can be improved in many areas. The plain plastic table cloth and the whole atmosphere just feels old and tired despite the grand looking facade. And the aircon does not work properly too. They opened some of the windows because of poor exhaust and to let all the smoke from the kitchen out. So they basically just throwing the aircon money out of the windows. But hey, we're all here for the food!

It was my first meal I had in Banyuwangi. It definitely left a good mark! The seafood was fresh, the price is reasonable, the taste is so delicious. The only thing I think they need to improve is to reduce the amount of plastic they used in the restaurant, it is so unnecessary to take out one plastic cover every time someone done eating while on the other hand they have many staff sitting around and joking to each other. But overall, it was a nice experience!

This is one of the best seafood restaurant in pandaan..almost all dishes available there are so tasty and rich in flavour..i really enjoy the crab in butter sauce or worcester sauce (saus inggris). Sadly the crab size is now only available in small and medium size..(few years ago they can offer Jumbo size). It is a bit pricey but worth the taste...

The taste is undeniably good. It's a classic crab restaurant with no-nonsense approach. No silly pour-on-the-table thing, no fancy cheese sauce, just your old-school butter or sweet sour sauce. But they really need to up their game if they want to be able to grab the new emerging market. I'm not a fan of fancy crab dishes, but some of those new restaurants serve bigger, fresher crab than here with much cheaper price. Considering the distance and the premium price, emerging middle class young customers would just choose nearer and cheaper ones. I mean, they couldn't just rely on loyal customers forever right?

It was overpriced and overhyped. We ordered Fried Duck, Fried Gurame, and Grilled Grouper. None of them were special. The taste was so so. The Grilled Grouper tasted a bit bitter. This restaurant is so overpriced, placed bit dirty. Its not equal between price and place. Order 1 dorang fish, 3 chicken, 3 rice , 2 tea and 1 orange juice totally 218.000. This place is huge and neat. Full of gazebo inside, and it's suitable to eat with family or with friends. compare to the same food and place in Jakarta, the price is cheaper. New Favourite place in Surabaya! Very near to Juanda Airport in Surabaya. Good food and beautiful ambiance, so unique. Service was top notch too. Only weakness is their social media marketing, did tag them in IG but…didn’t acknowledge & lagging in posting updates. The place is cozy. Relaxing music playing at the background. Extremely nice food selection. A must place to visit when you are at Surabaya for visit. We celebrated dinner here with client after delivering the software. Enjoyed it.

Interesting design by bamboo design restaurant with an Indonesian food menu. Mostly they have a food variety of fish carp, chicken and stir dried vegetables. Good to have lunch or dinner with family members.

One of the best franchise sushi restaurant ever exist; the taste of course, without a doubt, delicious and fresh. It's been awhile since my last visit in here. For me, my personal favorite dish would be : salad (all variants), sashimi (all variants), chuka idako, yakitori, and grilled squid. Overall this place always gives me an amazing experience of eating sushi everytime I visit. Keep up the good work!

Visited Sushi tei in august 2022, nice Japanese restaurant with good food. Staff was nice and friendly as expected. My friend ordered some food whose names I don’t remember but all was delicious and freshly cooked on order.

I had a dinner with my wife after so long because they close during this pandemic. The food tastes are still good as per my expectation; the Mayo kani salad is still fresh, the tokuni roll and spicy gyuniku enoki meat are good too. My wife and I do enjoy our quality time there. We will surely dine again at Sushi Tei.

This restaurant is just 5 minutes away from our hotel. We stayed in Aston Jember Hotel and this is one of the nearest food establishment within a walking distance. Food was surprisingly good. It has moderate pricing and the portion wasn't disappointing. Clean area and responsive staff too. Wide range of food selection too. Would definitely come back again.

The food all good tho quite pricey, but it's alright. The place is full with ac and they played music in the background, so we could eat in peace hehe. So comfortable as well there. And the toilet was clean which was a big thing for me. Would go back and eat in this place again :)

I ordered 1 portion of gourami fish and ice degan, in my opinion the taste offered was standard and could probably be improved but this depot was quite busy with visitors so maybe this was just a matter of taste. For gourami, you can choose the head, tail or body, 1 portion of gourami includes young mango chili sauce or locally known as pencit chili sauce. The chili sauce served is not spicy so it is safe for those who don't like spicy food. However, this does not include white rice. For degan ice, in my opinion it more like coconut ice because the coconut meat served is hard, so the choice of raw materials could be improved. how to order: 1. Find an available table and sit down 2. The waiter will deliver the menu 3. State your order to the waiter on duty 4. Food will be delivered to your table 5. Make payment in cash note: - currently only accepts cash payments & does not accept payments by other means. So don't forget to bring cash when you visit.

I went for the batik clams, crabs and lobsters and they didn't have any of them, which was a big disappointment. I had the green muscles which were good but very tiny and difficult to eat. I also had the salted egg yolwk prawns which were very descent. The place is clean and big, which is good. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English.

The Service was really good and the restaurant itself clean. Unfortunately not all that was stated online was available. We then tried the crabs. They were very small and for some reason already cracked open and most of the flesh already missing.

I went here with three friends on our trip to Ijen Crater. One of my friends said on our hike to the peak that she wanted to eat seafood when we went down, later, this place was the first popped up in our search. It turned out better than expected since we didn't know much about the town. The atmosphere was comfortable, adequate lights, not so crowded. IMO we got there at evening was perfect. Salted egg shrimp here was THE BEST fried shrimp I had in my life. Other reviewers said salted egg squid is a must, I think I'd agree. The other menu was alright, the shells are good. We realized that we ordered too much in the end. This should be a concern. In spite of that, our day was a complete bliss!

The crab is quite good ! Also recommend fresh mango juice (it's real fresh!) Just need to be busy all the time with flys who try to stay on your food (guess that's the general occasion in Indonesia..)

My husband and I tried for the first time to have lunch at BATAVIA restaurant. The place is quite big and spacious , lots of different kind of menus and drinks. We decided to try the Sop Buntut Bakar + Mie Goreng Jawa + Pisang Goreng. For drinks we ordered Ice Sweet Tea. Wow! Big portion for the food , the mie goreng Jawa is very tasty ! The sop buntut also big portion! The meat is so tender and delicious. Pisang Goreng 4 pieces , also yummy! Thank you for the good food and service . One day we will come back here again to try other menu.

It was tender and and drizzled with delicious sauce. It would have been even more enjoyable if the food were served hot. We went in a big group and the food was pre-ordered. the taste of the food served is delicious, the types of food are varied, the prices are still affordable, serving the atmosphere of the heritage. There is a small garden with a fountain that can build a good mood. There is a souvenir shop that sells clothes and bags. Very friendly service.y But sometimes live music is too loud. You chose your meal and beverages first by taking a representative card, then you'll be directed to the cashier to pay your meal first, then you have to wait and dine in.
