We went for a leisurely lunch and enjoyed every minute and each bite. The food is rustic and honest, yet refined. My son ordered the beef special which was incredible, absolutely delicious. I had the fish which was also very good. Every single thing we tasted was superb, the bread and butter, the starters, the wine by the glass, the dessert buffet. Staff was super friendly and was patient while my son practiced his French. If there’s one place you go for a nice meal, make it here.

An amazing way to finish the holiday. A fine dining experience in a relaxed garden setting with beautiful food and lovely service. We both opted for the very reasonable daily 5 course menu - €59. Delicious. I would have paid more.

All the staff at la Maison Carrier made us feel at home by their kindness to us. Their English was good which was lucky because our French is not so good. Our favourite main course was the trout ballotine with citrus fruits, artichoke and arugula pesto. It was melt-in-the-mouth and had a very punchy flavour. I had an entree which I adored that was egg, cream and cured meat. The serves were ample. We were recommended to the restaurant by our Airbnb host. The little extra things they gave us at the beginning and end of the meal were very tasty. As you no doubt realise from other reviews, they have an amazing dessert buffet called ‘Grandma’s tarts’ - all the French desserts you even dreamed of. People came into the restaurant looking serious but after the dessert buffet they were all smiling. I liked the fresh cherry tart and the oeuf en neige best. We felt the meal was good value.

Really got an alpine dine experience here. We ordered the mushroom cheese fondue, the veal appetizer, the sea bass and pork as main dishes, and used the dessert buffet. The ambience was really relaxed and luxurious at the same time.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. We made a reservation a week before. The restaurant is elegant. We ordered the prefix meal which came with the buffet dessert. The meals were expensive; however, the prefix special was a good deal. The desserts were delicious.

The food was delicious and they were really generous with the servings. The semi-buffet of grandmother's pies for dessert was excellent. We were able to try multiple things. Came here for dinner and had a great time! The servers were especially attentive and considerate, and took great care to ensure that our needs were met. The food was delicious – we had the beef and chicken burgers at €19 each, overall we preferred the beef but both were good. The cauliflower starter was also very appetising and unique. We just only had the burger with fries, it was a little bit expense but totally worth it. Burger patty was perfect and the combinacion with the sauce and bun made a really good burger. Fries are included and Mayonnaise and Ketchup are included and you can as much as you want. Service was really friendly and fast. And you can pay with card.

Rhyse is the owner and his brother-in-law makes the gluten-free buns. Rhyse is VERY knowledgeable about gluten-free issues and answered all of our questions with such a cheerful disposition! I had the Vegan Burger (and added bacon HA!). So yummy! Bighorn is off the beaten path and totally worth the "detour." And the gluten-free dessert...OMG!

Great bistro to have some burgers and beers. I'd seen that it has very positive reviews on google so we decided to give it a try. We tried the chicken fingers as a starter and they were really nice. They were served with a few sauces, one of which was spicy and really tasty. As a starter we ordered four burgers and try were really good. The quality of the meat was good along with the rest of the ingredients. The service was really good, the guy who served us was really nice and helped us with all out doubts. Very nice place in general for some american food. Take into account that depending on when you go they have different menus. We went at 3pm when they opened and options were a bit restricted but again everything was great. 100% recommend.

I recently tried a Snickers-flavored ice cream and found it to be quite underwhelming. If you’re accustomed to the quality of ice cream available in Paris—think Berthillon or Angiolo—you’ll likely find this one rather mediocre. The flavor was flat, the texture uninspired, and overall, it lacked any element of surprise or delight. It feels like the only reason this ice cream survives is due to a lack of strong competition in the area. It’s the kind of dessert that blends into the background—perfectly “fine,” but forgettable.

Such a fun little spot! I had the tiramisu and crème brûlée flavors - never seen crème brûlée as an ice cream flavor before. The crème brûlée was good but a bit light on flavor. The tiramisu on a waffle cone was my favorite. Super tasty and worth the stop!

I ate 2 times ice cream in Chamonix and the both in Chamon’ice. I love their spoon which is made by metal (not in plastic either paper) and the cup is made by waffle (like a cone but shape as cup). Priceworthy, the same price at all the ice cream store, but i love the metal spoon and friendly staff.

A bit too sweet for my taste. Flavors were basic, nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. Long lines, only one staff member, hence the waiting time is longer. They could work on that. Also the employees holds both money and cornets in same hands without any protection. Of course, I did not eat the cornet.

I had the Spicy Kili and it was perfect. It is one of the best burgers I’ve had. What’s special about the burger here is the bread. It’s not your regular soft bun but a rustic/baguette type bread. The staff here are extremely friendly. When I first went there, there was a 40 minute wait time for your burger to be ready and no seats were available. So I skipped and returned the following day and was able to sit and dine immediately.

Nice place to stop and eat. Really cool atmosphere especially for music lovers. They have great food. Flavor, portions and pricing are all good. They have indoor seating upstairs but I also see people stop and eat outside. My chicken sandwich was so yummy especially with siracha sauce.

My family ate here all 3 days living in Chamonix. The burgers are tasty with unique and fresh bread. The owner says that the bread a fresh. They made them everyday in the early morning. The special of Poco Loco burgers are crunchy bread, that is different from soft breads of other burgers. It reminds me of “bánh mì” from Vietnam. The price is reasonable. The staffs are very friendly. The restaurant is very small and hot during summer. You can only eat in from 18.00. But I see most people eat outside or take away. The only minus point is about the kid menu. The first day, 5 pieces of fried chicken. The second day, 3 pieces. The third day, 2 pieces. That’s really weird! I highly recommend Poco Loco. My favorites are burgers Atlas and Latino. Chicken burger are better than beef burgers.

Burgers were amazing! Fries were crispy and delicious 😋 We tried the hashbrown burgers, spicy and hot. They were humongous with a fresh baked bun that was good enough to eat alone. I would have liked to buy a dozen to take home. If you like a burger, dont miss this place. Its perfect for hungry TMB hikers.

Top quality burgers in Chamonix. It may be busy but it is worth the wait. It can get a bit cramped waiting in line when busy and gets busy outside with people waiting to collect their orders and standing eating there food. Great choice on menu.

Tiny spot for burgers and crepes to take away, although, I think they have some seating inside. I made a mistake to take the heaviest burger- double patty, hashbrown, reblochon. It was great, but too much for me. Girls behind the counter are lovely, great service.

Excellent double hamburger with Gruyère cheese and bacon. Fresh roll and excellent quality beef. They also have sandwiches they two buddies had which were really good. Highly recommend!

Good ice cream, but even better pastries. Came by to buy a number of pastries and they were very fresh and reasonably priced, not to mention very aesthetically baked. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the queue moved quickly.

I visited this bakery twice, and both times the experience was disappointing due to the behavior of the staff member working there. She was especially rude and unwelcoming towards Arabs and foreigners — basically anyone who is not French. This kind of discriminatory attitude is unacceptable in any service-oriented business. We had our nightly sorbet indulgence every night from Richards. FYI The ice cream/sorbet is open later than the pastries. We tried almost every flavor... And the winners were peach, apricot, raspberry, and melon. They all tasted fresh and were refreshing after long hikes. There was always a line but it moved quickly. The flavors have some rotation and weren't available every day, but there were always plenty to choose from.

Came here for tea, a petite little dual storey cafe with new view of the apls from thr 2nd floor seating. I was told the hot chocolate was very good, sp i tried, indeed not too bad, just l a ilttle too milky for me, but their coffee latte decaf was even better. Tried their macaroons and walnut tart, macaroons was a tinge too sweet for me and the tart was just an average. Overall, ain't a bad cafe to rest on a hot summer afternoon.

I especially recommend the Brunch for Two, which is a generous meal packed with a variety of tasty ingredients. The décor is charming, with the cozy vibe of an alpine lodge. Very charming and cozy location. We had breakfast with cappuccino and pain au chocolat on the outdoor terrace: great atmosphere and a wide selection of tempting pastries. The pain au chocolat was absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to come back to try more of their classics. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Even though we don’t speak French, we managed to communicate easily thanks to their helpfulness. We will definitely return!

A beautiful and unique cafe. I dined on the second floor and had a great experience. The quiche plate was maybe the best I’ve had. It was fun to look at the gem stones on display and to look at the pastries and cakes downstairs as well!

This spot is an 11/10. So amazing, truly a culinary gem. Unassuming and not touristy at all, genuinely one of the best Mediterranean spots I’ve had in a long time. Skip the tourist trap restaurants in the middle of town and come here. I’ve had the falafel wrap, the brisket wrap, and the chicken w tomatoes and fennel wrap and they were all amazing. One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in the Chamonix area! The staff are extremely kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming even with children, their service is outstanding. The restaurant is very clean, and the food is delicious with great variety. They also offer an impressive selection of soft drinks. Highly recommended I would definitely come back again!

We loved our lunch so much! All the wraps were absolutely delicious. I'm not normally a falafel girl, but I couldn't get enough! I don't even know where to start describing how awesome everything was - just go and try it :) As an added highlight, we really enjoyed meeting the chef Steph. He is very sweet and cares a huge deal about the quality of the food he serves. So lucky we chose this place for our lunch in Chamonix!

Absolutely phenomenal. Out of every place I've ever eaten, I've only had a similar experience in 2 other places. I got a chicken wrap with falafel and tzatziki, and safe to say, it was the best wrap I've ever tasted. The vegetables were perfect, the sauce was delicious, the bread was soft, the meat was flavorful, and the falafel was just decadent. Truly a spiritual experience eating it at the nearby field with the gorgeous mountains in the background. If you ever find yourself in Chamonix, I demand you to go here.

I ate here on Monday and it was absolutely incredible. I had the brisket bento box and it was faultless. The service was great and although quite pricey, it was worth every penny.

Ah the hazelnut eclair and flan tart were absolutely amazing. Quality execution and not cloying in the least. They have some tables in the back where they do a casual table service. It's quick and friendly. But the pastries are excellent.

This establishment should be rated MUCH higher. The macarons here are spectacular! Each flavor except apricot are vibrant and fun. The texture of the cookie is perfect. You can taste pieces of strawberry in the fraise cookie and savory the richness of the chocolate in the choclat one. The croissants here are an amazing value and probably the best I've had. The bread filled with chocolate and cream is a great breakfast sweet wake up. You really can't go wrong here in pricing or flavors.

Private cafe at the back but personally felt the pastries were not up to standard compared to other cafes on the same street. My cinnamon roll was dry and we didn’t finish them. Coffees were decent.

We were here before the beginning of Happy Hours on a Sunday, and the place is popping! They have a few tables on the side of the road, and they are very popular seats. Inside decoration is pop + mountain sports photos, quite nice! Their drinks are reasonably priced, staff is friendly. Awesome little bar and a great value happy hour (€4 a pint). Lovely staff and great food too. Highly recommended and so much better than some of a faceless bars down in town.

Ummm... The confections here are well priced, homemade and really delicious. The shop has antiques giving a historic feel. The owner/chocolatier was so kind. I recommend getting an assortment of both the chocolates and macarons. The raspberry filled chocolate was my favorite. *Mind Blown* 🤯

Love love love this bakery. A must for every morning in Chamonix. We’d pop in for our croissants and coffee in the morning and pick up a couple of sandwiches for lunch on the slopes. Never spent over €10. Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Canadian, nutty based pastry with maple syrup. Staff are really friendly and muddled through our dodgy french with aplomb. Please go, you won’t be disappointed. Way cheaper than buying food on the slopes.
