Croissant & Co is a charming French bakery and cafe located in downtown Venice, offering a delightful Parisian atmosphere. The cafe boasts an array of freshly made pastries, including 13 different types of croissants, assorted macarons, cookies, tarts, cakes, and mousses. In addition to the delectable pastries, patrons can savor hot cups of coffee and indulge in light meals such as quiches, sandwiches, and salads.
Croissant sandwiches are very delicious. So light and crisp. I don't think you can find a sandwich there that is not excellent. Highly recommend! Go early, they are always busy! We got the last three croissants they had left.

Absolutely love this place! A true hidden gem that transports you straight to Europe. The selection of freshly baked European breads is unmatched—crusty, flavorful, and perfect every time. Their croissants are buttery and flaky, just as they should be, and the pastries are nothing short of exquisite. Whether you’re stopping in for a rich, savory quiche, a fresh salad, or one of their perfectly crafted sandwiches, everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The bakery also has a beautiful, clean, and charming aesthetic that makes it a joy to sit and enjoy your treats. On top of all that, the service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell the staff truly care about what they do and are happy to share their passion with customers. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates authentic European flavors and warm hospitality!

Our first visit and was so reminiscent of bakeries in Europe that we visited, from Sweden to Switzerland. I had the salmon and spinach quiche it was delicious and a very generous portion for $10, also included was a small European portion of of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, grape, apples and strawberries. It was a wonderful combination. My wife had the standard ham and cheese quiche, and she's a fanatic about a good quiche, she loved it. It was so large we only finished half of it. The pastries we got almond croissant, chocolate twist and cranberry croissant. Looking forward to enjoying them. They were running about $5 each, but appear to be worth every penny of it, the look the smell it actually made my mouth start watering. The interior is done in a very cute pastel Pink, yellows, blues, with various European prints decorating the walls. The bathrooms were clean and stocked well. The staff was extremely courteous, as my wife and I we're both overwhelmed with the memories that this place brought back when we were in Europe. We ate in the bakery and it was a very relaxing everyone was so quiet enjoying their bakery goods. It may not be a place you go everyday but it's worth trying out highly recommend it. Ohh, almost forgot their fresh breads look delicious they even had loads of alligator bread shaped and an alligator That's right. had

Most yummy croissant 💗 Finally, an authentic French bakery. This is a must for anybody who has a culinary palate and appreciates good French baked goods. The ambience is jovial and quite busy. Yumminess.
Magdi B — Google review
Whether it's the amazing le deli sandwich (turkey and I love the cherry tomatoes) I had for lunch, the apple croissant I grabbed for breakfast one day or the delightful desserts (strawberry and peach mousse, chocolate croissant, fruit tart) I brought to share with my hosts, it's all amazing. The service is quick and kind and the price is right. I love stopping by every time I visit!
Cathy D — Google review
Very nice bakery with many sweet and savory items. The atmosphere was clean and attractive, with plenty of seating. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Just a few minutes from historic Venice downtown, it's well worth the quick drive.
T S — Google review
The croissants were everything they are supposed to be: Delicate, tender and delicious! The French Brie and Almond Croissants were as good as anything I’ve had in Europe! Also, great service that knew how to handle sudden rushes of customers.
Kenneth H — Google review
While the service was okay, the food and coffee were less than mediocre. There are no sugar free syrup options which I understand is a personal preference on my end, but almost anywhere you go there are sugar free options now. The food was served on a paper plate with plastic utensils which made it feel cheap. They were also originally unable to give my husband 4 shots of espresso in his iced americano, which was also odd, but tried to accommodate and came out and gave him two glasses to drink out of, with no room to pour oatmilk in. The raspberry croissant was average. It lacked flavor in the pastry itself and with the raspberry cream cheese middle. As this was our first time here, we were less than impressed and probably will not return.

Despite the growing competition in the area, Kilwins remains a popular choice for its high-quality offerings. Visitors often stop by to indulge in their delicious ice cream flavors or explore the variety of chocolate-covered desserts available. The store is known for its endless options of ice cream flavors and delectable treats like caramel apples.
Friendly staff, was able to try a sample before making one of my hardest decisions while on vacation!!!! After dinner great place to stop and get dessert. So leave room and then walk around town just so nice

Delicious ice cream, and it’s my family’s favorite place. However, their websites hours do not match as posted. Be warned that they close at 9 on Sunday’s and weekdays and 9:30 on Fridays and weekends. NOT 10 like suggested by the website. They may even close earlier (my family has experienced that before though I personally haven’t). Everything else is great, but as I write this, I have been let down once again and am eating ice cream from the Venice Ave Creamery, which is also excellent (would highly recommend; open until 10).

Great selection of chocolates, ice cream and my favorite... Carmel apples! Great spot to hit before or after the beach.

Looking for a sweet treat? This is one of the place. Over all their ice cream is delicious. We got chocolate toasted coconut (the best!) and sea-salt caramel. The cone was crunchy and fresh. It’s expensive but hey, sweet treat!
Hanny M — Google review
When it comes to ice cream, Kilwins never disappoints. The Key Lime Pie ice cream was great.
Jayarangan R — Google review
Way too expensive. Staff indifferent, almost rude $14 for a milk shake. $7.50 for 1 scoop of cream. Strange looking and tasting butter pecan. Save your money and walk about 3/4 block west to the Venice Creamery. Great product. Very friendly staff. $6 scoop. $9.5 milkshakes. Great creamy ice cream. The flavors we tried were awesome.

This place is a great spot for people who want more of a variety then Icecream for dessert. You can find basically anything you want covered in chocolate here. Their Icecream options are also endless! The toasted coconut with chocolate flakes was to die for. They also have amazing caramel apples!

Ciao Gelato is a beloved ice cream shop in downtown Venice, offering a variety of authentic gelato flavors. One of their specialty flavors is the key lime pie, which is highly recommended. The owners, originally from Italy, bring an Old World charm to their establishment and even offer a military discount. The cozy joint provides a perfect setting to enjoy delicious gelato with friends and family. Visitors can also indulge in bakery items and coffee while savoring the rich and creamy homemade gelato.
Best Gelato in all Sarasota and Venice area. Loved the passion fruit and salty caramel gelato, truly delicious and refreshing. The creamy nature of this gelato is out of this world. I highly recommend Ciao Gelato for its location, prices, quality, customer service, location and much more. I couldn’t eat enough and want to go back every week. Delicious and tasty, not too sweet.
Yerddy L — Google review
Try this gelato ✅ After speaking with the owner she let us know how her ingredients are mostly sorced from Italy, and even hired a nutritionist to analyze and compare her homemade stuff against other ice creams - if that doesn't show dedication I don't know what does! The gelato, from pistachio to coffee and more is delicious 🍦 You can find dairy-free and low sugar options too. There's many spots to try in Venice, but I recommend this one 👍🏽 Ciao ✌🏽
Darius S — Google review
Stopped in for some tasty Gelato. They let us sample a couple flavors before we made our final selection. Everything tasted great, and the young ladies behind the counter were very friendly.
Jen H — Google review
I was very happy to see that there were milk-free options, but was disappointed in the lack of flavor. I had the coconut (and something else) sorbet and it unfortunately didn't taste of much. It was ok, but not great. Can't comment on their regular gelato.

Delicious Italian Ice Cream Shop with some bakery items and coffee. Parking on street or in public parking lot nearby. Enjoy some refreshing Gelato in downtown Venice on a warm day or after a bicycle ride!

A must stop while in Venice - the owner was there and she was delightful. Gelato was amazing - be sure to ask about their savory offerings too!

The owners are from Italy, and bring the Old World Country to America. I have had Gelato this good since I was in Italy. The give a military discount, and really appreciate us. I even got to practice speaking Italian. Wonderful people, even better gelato.

Upper Crust Cafe & Bakery is a charming and cozy spot in Venice, known for its delightful American breakfast and lunch offerings. The cafe serves a diverse array of baked goods and sweets, with their world-famous scones being a highlight. From classic breakfast options like eggs any style or omelets to signature scones and breakfast sandwiches, the menu offers something for everyone.
We stopped in for breakfast this morning. I think this was the BEST breakfast bowl that I’ve ever had. My husband had the banana bread french toast, and he said it was delicious. And of course my son enjoyed his pancakes & sausage. We will DEFINITELY be back next time we are in town. SOOO GOOD.
Courtney K — Google review
Yum! This place is amazing. The raspberry scone and cream were so good, highly recommend any of their scones! The avocado toast was also great. I have zero complaints about the food, looks like everything on their menu is good. The waitresses were very helpful and quick.
Lauren L — Google review
Great service, excellent fresh food. The best options in food and pastries for a breakfast tailored to everyone. The service was professional and friendly. The place was clean, organized, and quite busy on Sunday morning. A restaurant you can't miss if you want a freshly brewed coffee and a delicious pastry.
J. A — Google review
Amazing scones. Honestly, the best there is. And with that Devonshire cream... you'll be in heaven. They don't skimp on the fruit filling, and you will never experience a dry bite. They are moist and delicious. Honestly, I mean to try other items, but I just can't resist those scones!
Daniel M — Google review
Absolutely the most disgraceful attitude from the gentleman at the counter, the morning of September 20, 2025. Regardless of good coffee and pastries, I'll take my business to a more cordial establishment. For the many reviews posted, this is the first time I ever felt the need to mention the lack of customer service received from a member of the service staff.
T S — Google review
The best breakfast place ever! The food is always fast and consistent, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. My family and I try to go a few times a weekend, and we are never disappointed!
Rita S — Google review
So, we're new to Florida, we're transplants from Utah, and we wanted to try a new place in Venice. Google recommend this restaurant for a breakfast bite. It was great! The food was good, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, the ambiance of the establishment was on the rustic, antique site. Also very clean. I really enjoyed my Smoked Salmon Hash here, the taste was new to me but very enjoyable! My two sausages that I ordered on the side we're quite larger than I expected, but still very high quality. Everything tasted fresh and nothing was overly greasy. Being in my early 40s we were the youngest people there, so be prepared to feel a our of place if you're younger than 40. My wife and I also enjoyed a very large eclair there, after breakfast, and it was good. After tasting of the awesome food there, I was expecting a little more flavors from the eclair, but definitely wasn't bad. My only real gripe was the serving sizes of the meals. They are a little on the small side for me. But I'm also 6'3 and weigh about 240lbs, so take that as you like. Also my second complaint, which is a small one, is that the entrance/waiting area is VERY narrow as it's only about 3-4 ft from the bakery display. So, if your waiting in line for a seat, and there's people waiting to be attended by the baker next to the display, you're practically touching shoulders with those people looking I to the display. But, that's all small potatoes (pun intended) compares to the taste and service experience.
Vicat M — Google review
Love the Upper Crust, it’s our go to spot for breakfast and lunch. Staff is always friendly, inviting and accommodating. Not sure what the recent commenter T slush is talking about! All of the staff is always accommodating as long as rules are followed.

The Soda Fountain of Venice is a vintage-style ice cream parlor and American cafe that exudes old-fashioned charm with its marble counter, wooden booths, and classic checkered floor. It shares its space with a New York style pizzeria, offering customers the option to dine at the counter or in the pizza room. Visitors often frequent this charming spot after a day of shark teeth hunting on the beach.
Second time after bit dining here. Love the nostalgia. Wife ordered a shake, delicious 😋 We shared the Godfather Pizza, fresh & delicious. A 16” was plenty. Samantha provided excellent service, given how busy. Be prepared to wait. If you are in a hurry, & it’s busy, may not be for you.

Food is delicious, I order "The Godfather " pizza and some fried pickles as appetizers ,I don't know if it was because it was an hour before they close but it was only one waitress for all the tables at Saturday night ,she was serving with real nice attitude but food take a little longer than serving time even for an appetizer (10,20minutes max) ,as like the atmosphere, it feels nice having like a old place with the memorabilia and stuff but maybe if the put a rockola jukebox, it will feel the waiting time less than normal... and like a said food is great and server and cook had a nice attitude...
Angel C — Google review
9-16-25. My first time dining at this restaurant. It was 3 p.m. and the place was quiet, but I brought a book and read s few pages while I waited for my 12" meatloverers pizza. I came at a shift change so I had two wonderful young ladies wait on me. I was rushed into making a quick decision on what to drink. I went with a lousy soda...I wish I had ordered one of there milkshakes...next time I will. A HUGE menu with a ton of options. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend. Prices seem a little high and I was the only one in the restaurant, but I love the decor as well as the food.

Ate lunch outside and ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and the “largest slice in town”. The fries and chicken sandwich were nice and crispy! Pizza was pretty good too.
Vee L — Google review
I loved going here over the past 14 years and taking out of town guests. The food and ice cream treats are always so good. Pizza is especially good. Staff is friendly and works hard to please. I took guests twice this summer. That said, the ladies restroom desperately needs a remodel. I know it's old, but it looks like the floor hasn't been cleaned in months. I'm afraid this will keep people away from this wonderful spot, I know I won't bring guests here again unless I see an improvement.
Katzie K — Google review
Loved this place! Super quaint little diner with a retro theme. Food was amazing. I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve ever had, and you have to try the house made chips. For those commenting on service… there is one waitress and she is doing an amazing job. Just have patience and don’t expect to be in and out. It’s worth the wait anyway, which by the way, wasn’t that bad anyhow. Highly recommend!
Mike P — Google review
Tried calling ahead but no answer. Website was also down. Decided to risk it and came in around 1pm on a Saturday, group of 3. Tables were full but only one server was working. Waited 5 mins before we saw the only employee and a table cleared up. Ordered a large pie and drinks. Food came out at a reasonable time and pizza was ok to decent between 3 opinions. I'd eat the pizza again personally. However the service left something to be desired. The one server was exhausted and obviously needs help, which I'm sure affected her demeanor. I think a family walked out waiting for service. Lemonade was way too sweet. There is a surcharge for using a credit card so we paid cash. The place also needs some repairs and could benefit from a deep clean.

We both had the Turtle Sundaes and they were delicious and plentiful. Our waitress (all by herself) waited on every table inside and out, took everyone's order, made all the soda fountain items, delivered food and drinks, took payments and even cleaned up spills. If she was not the owner, she deserves a big raise ‼️

A Sweet Spot for the Whole Family 🍦💕 Venice Avenue Creamery has become one of our favorite family stops in Venice! The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the ice cream is absolutely delicious — creamy, flavorful, and with a wide variety of choices to keep everyone happy. We’ve enjoyed ourselves every time we’ve visited, and it’s become a special treat to take our children here. Watching their faces light up as they choose their flavors (and sneak a few bites of ours!) makes it even more memorable. It’s the perfect spot for a family outing, a casual date, or just cooling off on a warm Florida day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that’s just as much about the experience as it is the ice cream! 🍨✨

Those donuts are delicious! The rumors are true! These are the biggest and the best donuts I’ve ever had! The flavors are exceptional and fresh! expensive but worth it and super quality ingredients! Wow!!! I will be back to get more!
Kristel L — Google review
This is probably the best donuts and bbq that you can get under one roof in Florida. We got a full rack of ribs, a key lime filled, a chocolate old fashioned, a cinnamon roll and a chocolate iced angel cream. The ribs were tasty and definitely the best we've had in Florida. The key lime was what you think of when you think of a tropical island dessert. The old fashioned was good just different since I've only had regular old fashioned before. The cinnamon roll was a fluffy cinnamon roll that was not over glazed or over spiced. The angel filled was not what we were expecting, the cream was like a vanilla icing inside of a bar doughnut that had been frosted with chocolate cake frosting. So all in all I easily can recommend the bbq, but the donuts for the most part leave something to be desired.
Alex D — Google review
This is such a friendly spot to stop for some sweet treats! The variety is awesome, the quality is amazing and the price varies from 1.99 to maybe 3.49ish depending on the selected item. Scones, donuts, biscuits and gravy, coffee and more! Small shop with great folks behind the counter. Clean, welcoming environment! Will always stop when I’m in the area and highly recommend to anyone I meet! Enjoy some photos of the maple bacon, old fashioned and chocolate frosted. My personal favorites are the raspberry filled and also the key lime coconut (a Florida thing I guess)

Amazing donuts and outstanding customer service. I took my three kids to get donuts today and they all wanted the same one. The problem was they only had one left. Ok so there exterior marketing is a little cringe, but holly hell is the food good AND well priced. Chocolate donut was good, The donut itself was perfectly semi-sweet. For the entree I got brisket on top of pigtails, their term for spiral sliced potato deep fried. It was amazing and I could barely finish a third of it. Ice cream shop
Bob's Twist N' Shake is renowned for its consistently amiable staff and exceptional service. Visitors have enjoyed their delightful treats throughout the year, whether it be in September or August. The establishment prides itself on maintaining high standards in terms of both taste and portion sizes. Every dish offers a delectable flavor that leaves customers satisfied. Notably, the banana split has earned rave reviews as one of the best ever tasted. Additionally, patrons have raved about the pumpkin ice cream selection.
🍦 Review for Bob’s Twist N’ Shake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After a wonderful dinner, we wanted to end our day on a sweet note—and as usual, Bob’s Twist N’ Shake was the perfect stop for dessert and memories. While they offer a convenient drive-thru option, we preferred to enjoy our treats at the shop itself. It’s a cozy and pleasant spot with seating available, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. The vibe around the shop is always lively, and it’s clear that it’s a local favorite. They offer a wide variety of ice creams and shakes, with options that can satisfy every sweet tooth. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours, as this place draws a crowd. That said, parking has never been an issue whenever we’ve visited, which is a big plus. Now, let’s talk about portion sizes—absolutely huge! The hand-scooped chocolate chip (2 scoops) was more like a mountain of happiness in a cup. Our kid opted for a Chocolate Vanilla Sundae topped with marshmallow, fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry on top—classic and perfectly made. Whether you go with a cone or a cup, the scoop sizes are unbelievably generous. We ended our long weekend and an adventurous day with this sweet indulgence, and it truly hit the spot. Definitely a must-visit for ice cream lovers! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by to enjoy some seriously good ice cream.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the best time at Bob’s Twist-N-Shake in Venice! The banana split was amazing — rich, creamy, and held up perfectly in the Florida heat. Their hand-dipped and soft serve vanilla were both delicious. Great portions, friendly staff, and a classic local gem. Can’t wait to come back! 🍦🍌🍒

Best soft ice cream in the whole state! We love coming here! Lots of other choices too! Tons of flavors for scooped ice cream, delicious ice cream cookie sandwiches, etc! This is our happy place!

First place we came when we moved to sarasota, I was looking for soft serve.. i’m so glad we found this gem! Prices are great, outside seating and kind employees. The ice cream is soo good and so many flavors !

Consistently the friendliest staff around! We were here on 9/27 and also the end of August. Doesn’t matter because every time I’m there, it’s wonderful! I love the consistency and the portions. The flavor of everything is yummy! I had the banana split for the first time—best I’ve Ever had! My friend had the pumpkin ice cream and loved it. We drive up from Englewood & it’s worth it! Thank you!

Very friendly staff, great big portions, nice little area to sit and enjoy your ice cream and more than fair pricing for what you get. We tried a bunch of flavors and all of them were very good except the chocolate for some reason ...wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Love their shakes and smoothies!

I'm here on a relaxing summer sundae evening quick to jump to an orange/van cone... After a meaningful conversation with another innocent bystander my mind reevaluated the whole order 🥲 before you know it I got the vanilla sundae with a brownie at the bottoms with some nuts and a cherry on top 🎩 Boy oh boy was it a presentation in itself. Them I felt robbed of the brownie for a moment. Then I rolled my sleeves up and dug down deep and brought out a perfectly coated chunk of brownie 🤤I drouled and licked my lips before I even took a bit! 😋 09/01/2025 Update: Take everything mentioned into account and keep in mind today is Labor Day and they are open with great service!

I've never had a good experience here. We've been 4 times over 1 year. The staff changes often and is neither friendly nor kind. They usually appear ragged. The menu is confusing. They have images of items next to names which don't match. They are extremely slow. The prices are obnoxiously high. I'm not a fan and after giving them multiple tries I've told my kiddos we will not be returning. Go to Detwilers or Scoops in Venice

Visit Scoops Venice Ice Cream for a wide selection of ice cream flavors, including cones, sundaes, and milkshakes. They also offer vintage soda and candy. Discover a variety of unique options like slushees, candy, sundaes, mix-ins, and shakes. While they have traditional ice cream choices to please everyone, some may find the brownie sundae underwhelming with artificial-tasting brownie pieces.
Top notch! The new owner is amazing, and so is his staff. So many great ice creams! They now have Yoders Amish ice cream with NO high fructose corn syrup! It's delicious 😋 stop by and you'll agree! Actually, have lunch next door at O'bees, 5 stars, then here for dessert!

Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, EXCELLENT selection of ice creams, shakes, candy, sodas and everything above! I got 8 specialty ice creams for about $70, That’s for 8 people leaving completely satisfied to cap the night.

The best ice cream we have had while visiting Florida. Creamy ice cream and fresh crisp waffle cones. The Triple Penut Butter was excellent for fellow peanut butter fans. And the Specialty sundaes are as advertized...special and amazing.

Fast food restaurant
Ice cream shop
Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a classic burger & fries fast-food chain that offers soft serve ice cream and signature shakes as top menu items. Customers are asked to park out front and the order is brought to the vehicle. The wait was about 5 minutes, but then the employees were very helpful with getting sauces for the chicken tenders and silverware for a salad ordered. All workers encountered were friendly and helpful.
Jeremiah deserves a raise. What a polite and patient young man! I was not ready when I got to the counter and changed my order, mid order. He didn’t bat an eye, just said, “sure, give me one moment” as he corrected my order on the screen. When our food arrived at the table, it was exactly what I asked for. The food was freshly made and the burgers were great! Not to mention all the treats were delicious. The restaurant was clean and service was good. I read several people complaining about time, but our food arrived fresh…I’ll wait a little bit for that. There were other customers receiving the same service before us so we didn’t think we were going to walk away from the counter with the food.
Debbie B — Google review
We waited in the drive thru line for 20 min. And then got melted ice cream. We literally live 1 min away. If we would have opened in the car it would have been a huge mess! These pics are after i opened over the sink.. in which icecream poured all over once i opened the lid. I’m 90% sure these were made after we ordered and then sat for 20 min! Horrible business! Sadly wont be back until they can figure out how to run their business!

I've been to this location a number of times - service varies. Tonight was quick, however for the 2nd time I ordered soft serve with rainbow sprinkles, which they charge extra for, and definitely just got a sprinkling of them. Most places completely coat it. They did accommodate my request for an empty cup so I could put it down if needed while driving. Added pics (didn't think to take them until I started, but you can see how one side barely has any).
Lynne M — Google review
This place is out of control! The place is a mess. 6 on the clock. Cannot get a clue how to rein this place effectively and efficiently! Just look at the trash on the floor , the dirt on the floor, counters littered. Nothing in the freezer case. The guy up front was clueless how to take orders and get them out! Do not blame the customers that there were too many. These guys couldn’t get anything right ! Skipping over orders, customers whom have been waiting watch others with same orders walkout ahead of theirs. Where is the management? Not there!
Dean B — Google review
Had a very concerning experience on the evening of 5/16. We went up to order our ice cream and we paid for our order about 6pm. A black woman (our receipts said Stamenley Joseph) processed our payment Orders #88+#89. We went to the Chill station where there was a vanilla large cone. We asked the gentleman at the chill counter whose it was and he said it was a mistake but “you can have it”. The black woman then left her register and walked over to me and grabbed the vanilla cone from my hand and threw it in the trash. It ruined my experience and I will never be returning back to this place. This woman needs to be coached in customer service, you don’t grab anything from a customer, let alone doing so with no acknowledgment. What happened to “smile and be friendly, or make it right”? Unbelievable.
Brandon O — Google review
This DQ has no quality control. The food that is served will vary from very good, occasionally, to downright pitiful as in the crispy chicken salad today. a handful of lettuce, a piece of tomato, two chopped tenders and about 6 tiny shreds of cheese. no flavor, no substance and they served the wrong dressing. I have had better at this location but no one oversees what leaves the kitchen...just shove it out there and move on.

Big Olaf Ice Cream & Coffee Caffe is an adorable establishment with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and delicious ice cream. It would be even more enjoyable if they played background music instead of loud old TV shows. Paying attention to small details such as keeping the waste paper basket from overflowing adds to the overall experience. The coffee here is exceptionally tasty, using flavorful beans that are out of this world.

This was my first experience at a Big Olaf Ice Cream and Coffee shop. The establishment was clean and orderly, the staff was pleasant and aimed to make our visit enjoyable. My sister ordered a Latte and enjoyed her coffee as well as a coffee cake. There is a wide selection of coffee and Homemade Ice Cream as well as drinks, bakery goods and snacks. If this review was helpful, please give it a thumbs up. #letsguide

A fine coffee shop, indeed. I patronized Big Olaf's while in the area, and my experience couldn't have been better. The folks there were friendly, and fast with my coffee (and they kindly obliged my request for a weird, single-shot Americano -- and offered some smiling conversation, to boot!). Likewise, the restaurant itself was clean and enjoyable, both on the quiet, shady patio and in the spacious dining room (don't see many coffee shops with a grand piano parked in the corner). I broke out a packed lunch, and sipped good, organic coffee while reading a good book and watching the world go by -- wonderful! I had no problems during my visit, and would gladly return. My sincere thanks goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service. Keep it up!

Swurlz Frozen Yogurt is a popular spot located near Frank's Theater, making it a must-visit before or after catching a movie. The establishment is known for its cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly owners and staff who greet customers with a smile. Customers appreciate the wide variety of frozen yogurt flavors that are constantly changing, as well as the extensive selection of toppings available.
This is ALWAYS A MUST before or after a movie at Frank's Theater or Anytime. Swurlz is Clean and Inviting. The owners and staff are friendly and welcome you with a smile. With multiple constantly changing flavors and a wide array of toppings it means there's more than enough variety to please everyone. This is our favorite frozen yogurt spot even though there are others closer to us. Well worth the extra drive. They have a loyalty reward program, a fun chalk wall for the kids and coffee which always pleases my husband. We just wish we had one of these near our home in Canada. It's always our first stop when we get to Florida and the last as we leave to return home. Thanks for a great job!!!! :)

This is a pleasant store tucked away in the corner of Galleria Plaza near the movie theater. Premises were nice and clean and the clerk was Pleasant and helpful. I thought the flavorings of the frozen yogurts seemed somewhat artificial and not quite to my liking. My granddaughter however had a different opinion. She really like the place and the yogurt. So I guess you'll need to go and judge for yourself.

This place was an amazing place. I have never found a place that was so inviting. I have recently found out I have a dairy intolerance and this place has the most refreshing flavors in Florida. Bakery
Joanne, the owner of Sweet Treats is AMAZING!!! We have been getting cakes, cookies and cupcakes from her since shortly after she opened. She makes everything you ask custom. Her presentation is beautiful- but the taste!! Dense, moist cakes that can not compare to a “store bought” bakery good. You would think these would be way more expensive, but NO- she is extremely reasonable. When my daughter ordered a beautiful tiered birthday cake she delivered it to our house and set it up. Last night I messaged her after hours and asked if there was any way we could get cupcakes with filling, and special amaretto frosting today!! I had low expectations as we live in a seasonal community, at the height of season. Joanne say yes! My cupcakes were ready at 9:40 AM this morning. (she saw my message around 9:30 PM on a Friday night!) Great quality, great taste, great turn-around, beautiful presentation! Please try her! Local business- support small business- she wins, and I promise you that you will too! She is also a lovely person.

Joann has the best baked goods! I ordered my daughter a birthday cake and gave Joann a brief description over the phone of what she wanted and it came out perfect! Thank you so much! I love that it was made from scratch and not frozen! You could definitely tell the difference in the taste!
Amanda F — Google review
Sadly enough, the worst and ugliest Birthday cake ever. I so wish I could show you a picture. My cake was done by the owners manager who should have been fired, that bad. It was stuffed full of straws to hold it in place, lots of straws and raw inside but still leaned and listed like the Leaning tower of Pisa.. Thank goodness for Publix. They made me a new cake and after seeing pictures of the paid Sweet Treat cake, they gave me my cake for free! So, as a laugh it was great but as a cake, inedible. So truly beware of her reviews.
Tommye W — Google review
I cannot say enough about the wonderful treats, made fresh daily, or the great service at Sweet Treats & Gifts. I work with JoAnn weekly to deliver her gourmet cookies to each of my clients. My family and I also enjoy her treats. The chocolate cupcakes with raspberry filling and raspberry cream cheese frosting were a hit for my daughter’s birthday and my grandson, who doesn’t even eat sweets, devours her chocolate-chocolate chip cookies every time he visits. We are working with JoAnn and her staff to create a specialty cake for my granddaughter’s Baptism. With a treat for every occasion, I highly recommend Sweet Treats & Gifts!
Jennifer M — Google review
Joanne is amazing. Ordered a tray of cookies and a tray of deserts for a funeral from out of state. They were delivered within a few hours of placing the order. I even got a call raving about the goodies. My family wanted to know how in the world I found this place from upstate NY, and to please share the name and phone number. I could not have been happier with the whole experience.

If i could give less then a star i would. was given stale items on more then one occasion. was refunded for the item i purchased but that doesn't make up for the party ruined. not one single person at the party was able to eat the cake it was so bad. seems to get in over her head promising she can make certain items but is unable to. also gave me something assuring it was fresh and made that day.... unfortunately the bag had a sticker on it saying it was bagged 4 days before....has a network of friends who post nice reviews. remember when making a big decision, even mcdonalds gets good google reviews - do you want to depend on them for your special event? get references from people YOU KNOW who have bought from here.

Peachwave West Villages is a self-serve establishment that offers a wide variety of frozen yogurt and gelato flavors, as well as an assortment of toppings. Their cotton candy yogurt is particularly delectable, evoking nostalgic memories like Anton Ego's experience with Ratatouille. Loved Peachwave experience at West Villages! Was craving frozen yogurt and this was one of the places near by that I found. Located in a very nice area with more shopping and food around if you're out and about and want a refreshing snack. Very clean and pleasant inside. I was impressed with the fun and delicious flavors that Peachwave had to offer! They had a good mix of fruity and sweet. And very delicious! The quality is definitely tasted and with toppings you get all the variety. Many popping bubble flavors and fruits and just about anything you want. They have a seating area with tables that was nice to sit at and hide from the heat but they also have a seating area outside. Which is nice for the evening time. Would definitely recommend to visit this spot if you're craving some frozen yogurt. Also follow them on Facebook or Instagram for weekly promotions and deals!!

If you're in Wellen Park and looking for a delightful treat, make sure to stop by Bright Ice Scoop Shop. This charming ice cream shop is perfect for an after-dinner indulgence or a refreshing afternoon snack while you stroll around the picturesque lake or downtown area. Bright Ice prides itself on using only natural ingredients, ensuring that each scoop is not just delicious but also wholesome.
AMAZING PLACE!!! Super fun, original flavors and it’s a neat place. One time I surprised my mom with a horribly spicy ice cream flavor haha. Although the line can be long sometimes, the ice cream is very filling and tasty. I get easily get full from one scoop of the brownie + marshmellow creme + caramel + chocolate ice cream flavor they have! :))

I was expecting more tropical flavors here. I mean this is south west Florida. I did sample the blueberry cinnamon and then picked the salted caramel. It was absolutely delish! This ice cream shop is very clean with vivid colors and decor. Staff is very pleasant. If you’re spending some time in downtown Wellen Park, this is a must stop, as you can stroll around and have dessert here.

Unique flavors and great service. They were nice enough to let me try a few flavors: blueberry cinnamon, strawberry with balsamic and lemon with crystallized ginger. I ended up getting the latter. But they all tasted good! They have seasonal flavors, this winter is cranberry and a peppermint one from what we were told. They make their ice creams locally in Pinellas Park. My husband got an affogato with the orange blossom coconut. Overall ice cream was really delicious. Felt like maybe it melted a little too soon and it wasn’t hot outside.
Gem L — Google review
This was such a pleasant experience! First, it is SUPER cute inside! The two associates behind the counter were super friendly and very patient with us because we wanted to try a few flavors before making the ultimate choice. I got the affogato I think it was called where it’s a scoop of ice cream with a double shot of espresso. I highly recommend this but suggest to get 2 scoops of ice cream for a thicker experience. I did the coffee kahlua one. It has a very good espresso flavor because it has some kind of dark chocolate covered espresso something or other lol. The espresso is delicious but I like my espresso on the sweet side so I will definitely do maybe vanilla or caramel ice cream. My husband got the cookies and cream and said it was the best cookies and cream ice cream he’s had which is wild. He loves C&C. Also got the oat one. I forget the name. But it literally tastes like those oatmeal cream pies. Delish!
Cortney C — Google review
So many unique flavors here! There were at least 5 or 6 I have never seen in any Icecream shoppe I’ve ever been to! Also, they have a lot more natural ingredients in their making then other places. I do wish they wouldn’t use soybean oil at all as it’s inflammatory but oh well. Wellen Park is so cute too, there’s always live music and the environment is a whole vibe!

Amazingly clean shop. A variety of interesting flavors. This is not your basic ice cream place. They have fresh, made to order espresso and they will add it to your ice cream. My new regular order is Kailua and espresso chip as a shake with a double shot of espresso. This beats any coffee shop version hands down. Come visit. It’s worth the trip.
