If you're in Punta Gorda and craving something sweet, look no further than Working Cow Ice Cream & Eatery. This charming ice cream shop is a delightful stop for anyone with a sweet tooth, offering an impressive selection of homemade flavors, including options for those who are lactose intolerant. The outdoor seating creates a perfect atmosphere to enjoy your treat on warm Florida days.
This one of our favorite spots to enjoy delicious homemade ice cream. They have a large variety of flavors as well as nondairy ice cream for us that are lactose intolerant. We brought our dog with us, and to our surprise, they offered her a free “doggy dish” for her to enjoy! Needless to say she lapped it up. We were quite thankful! You guys are the best!
Michael K — Google review
Great place to get ice cream with the family. They have about 5 or 6 picnic tables with an umbrella to sit and enjoy!
Brittany Y — Google review
Such a fun ice cream spot! They are incredibly customer friendly allowing us to sample as many different ice creams as we wanted! They are very local and you can feel the southern hospitality ordering your dessert! The boys and girls of Working Cow are doing something special
Ryan M — Google review
We found this awesome ice cream shop last week & loved their ice cream! Prices were also much better than in Bonita Springs, where we live. The customer service was very nice too.
Carol H — Google review
Ice cream was delicious!! Had outdoor seating area and were dog friendly. They even give a little bowl of free ice cream for dogs. We really enjoyed it, would definitely return!
Michelle S — Google review
Cool place!! I like that it’s all outdoor. Supports eating ice cream on a hot Florida day. I like that they had a few vegan options. Got the chocolate peanut butter and the vegan mint chocolate both were great! The hurricanes are also cool and was pretty good! Good branding haha
S D — Google review
Very expensive but very good ice cream and a large selection of flavors and options. About twice the cost of Dairy Queen, but ice cream tastes home made and is delicious. Nice clean seating as well.
G M — Google review
Wonderful hidden gem and an amazing ice cream. Do not miss this place. Tons of flavors and unreal prices. At the time of this review, a medium (3 scoops) is $3.50, a pint is $5, and a quart is $8. This blow the premium grocery store name brands out of the water.

Harbor Scoops is a sweet shop located in the Marina that offers a variety of ice cream flavors, waffle cones and milkshakes. It's well-known for its delicious treats, and is a great place to stop by for a quick snack or dessert.
Very good ice cream. We had scoops of the Twix, Strawberry and the Vegan Cookies and Cream. It was delicious. The service was great. It was a little difficult to navigate google.maps to get there. But there were signs on the property with directions to the back of the building.

Great homemade ice cream ( legit, not just marketing). Fair prices. Great variety and they have shaved ice tho i didnt try. Will come back. Thanks!
Nate S — Google review
Beautiful view and so good. We had to come back for a second scoop on the same day. Our new favorite ice cream place in Punta Gorda
Dana L — Google review
We went to Harbor Scoops today while walking around Laishley Park in Punta Gorda, Fl. It’s a very cute little ice cream shop. This is from their website: “Harbor Scoops is a family company and has been serving mouth-watering ice creams to locals and visitors alike since 2010. Our homemade, in-house ice creams are famous for their amazing flavors, incredible textures, and unbelievably delicious flavor.” They offer more than just ice cream with hot dogs, grilled cheese, shaved ice, specialty drinks and of course, homemade ice cream with all the toppings!! The BEST part of this quaint, little shop is they offer dairy free and vegan ice cream!!! I had a vegan pumpkin. It was delicious!! Highly recommend this shop!!
Sheri L — Google review
Good ice cream., With tons of flavors. I really liked it but would have liked bigger chunks of peanut butter layed in my ice cream.
Darren C — Google review
Went in with a party of 7 and walked out with 7 smiling faces... This place is pretty dang good with homemade ice cream and really good shaved ice. The 3 guys in there were all very friendly, happy and helpful. After we got our orders we all went out to the pier to enjoy the beautiful view. Great job guy's and keep up the good work. We will definitely be back.
Darrell M — Google review
We’ve been coming to Harbor Scoops for several years and each visit does not disappoint. They have some of the tastiest ice cream we’ve ever had. Their flavors are unique, and the portions are generous. One of our favorite flavors is Grape Nuts. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me, there is nothing like it. It is a little sweet, a little savory and has a pleasant crunch from the Grape Nuts cereal added to it. In addition to ice cream, they have shaved ice, milkshakes, and vintage sodas. The location is right on the harbor so you have a lovely view of the water and boats.
Terrence M — Google review
This is such a cute little ice cream parlor. A great place to take the family and grab a treat. The view is sweet! <--- See what I did there. (sweet) (ice cream is sweet)!! Anyway, the ice cream is delicious. The staff is super friendly. There are free samples, so try something new! They offer many different flavors of soda's. Drink something new. The Frostie Rootbeer is really good!!! Try this place. It's worth it! Really it is....you'll love it.

Was passing through the area and decided to grab a quick bite. I ordered the falafel pita with fries. It was so good that I ordered one, to go, for my wife. We'll be back to try the homemade ice cream and other food items.

I happened across this place on FB. Was looking for somewhere that did prime rib. Never heard of it before. My thought was keep your expectations low. It’s a sweet shop not a restaurant. Boy was I wrong. Walked in at 4:00 when they started serving. Glad we did. Place filled up fast. Had no idea how it worked. Walked up to the counter. Ordered the meal. Paid. Sat down and a few short minutes later here and here it comes. Meal was wonderful and prepared exactly how I ordered. Thank you. Will be back again to try other things.
John S — Google review
Great ice cream! The staff was very friendly and helpful with our order. The flavor selection was extensive and you can have a variety of ways to eat or drink your ice cream. A must place to visit for a treat while in the Punta Gorda area. They also serve food, but this time we only went for the ice cream.
Dawn G — Google review
As a Dutchy, I’m very disappointed. The bitterballen are large, burnt and served with honey mustard. They don’t taste yummy. Barely any meat in them at all. The fries are crinkle fries and the mayo doesn’t taste like frietsause. The “patat-je” oorlog barely had any pinda (peanut) sauce.
Jocelyne K — Google review
First time here, got chicken tenders and fries, one order fed us both. Good food, good prices, great atmosphere. Overheard a conversation between an employee and what must be a frequent customer, it was so heartwarming to see how amazing they treat their customers. Definitely will be back.
Julie S — Google review
My husband and I recently visited Zoet Sweet Boutique, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive not just to us, but to every guest in the place. I ordered the cod fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. My husband went with the special of the day, and he loved his meal just as much. To top it all off, we shared a monster banana split for dessert, and wow it was to die for! A perfect ending to a great meal. We'll definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem! My sister told us about it and we have gone every couple weeks since then. Food is fresh and well-prepared and delicious. The staff is super-friendly and so helpful. Highly recommend

Nino's Bakery & Restaurant is a charming cafe that offers traditional cakes, cookies, bread, sandwiches, and pizza. Visitors have discovered this hidden gem and keep coming back for its delicious Stromboli and Calzone. The bakery is also a favorite with its raspberry-filled lintzer cookies. Despite being one of the youngest patrons there, guests love the cozy atmosphere with live music and old movies playing in the background.
Finally got to visit here. We come to Punta Gorda 2-3 times a year and this will definitely be on the rotation moving forward. Pastries were fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and drive by Dunkin for Nino's.

Life is just NOT complete without Sfogliatella! Love this bakery and the Owner Nico is the best. Super nice dude. Try the Oatmeal cookies. It is a secret family recipe for the 1800's passed down thru the La Familia. This nice Italian Girl loves it. I will be back!
Cindy C — Google review
The food is really good and amazing. They had pastries, sandwiches, breakfast, and lunch food. All the food was huge, and really good. Even though it was all huge, there was enough to eat everything. (If your curious about the chocolate meatballs, there not actual meatballs, and I recommend the Bacon Quish because it’s really good) All the ladies who worked there were super nice. Our uncle and his dad comes every day and one lady remembered him and his dad, and said how she loves when they always come in. She also showed us her new car. There was a whole wall full of pictures that were really good. It was a nice setting inside, and it smelled nice. The inside was fully decorated, with labels on everything so you could understand everything. This was probably the best bakery I’ve ever been to. (Review by an 11 year old)
Jeremy C — Google review
I'm so happy we stopped at Nino's for a late breakfast! We ordered many different pastries and donuts, along with savory breakfast sandwiches, and a quiche. Everything tasted great! They have a nice seating area where we were able to sit and enjoy our treats. I was thrilled to meet Nino and hear that their ingredients are so clean! They use butter, not Crisco filled with seed oils. Their pie crusts are homemade, and not colored with yellow food die. You could taste the difference! I wish we would have tried a bagel sandwich too. We were just too full!
Shannon S — Google review
I had a wonderful experience this morning at Nino’s! The Sfogliatella and spinach quiche were to die for and I can’t wait to have the Pizza Rustica Pie tomorrow when my company arrives. Mr. Nino and his family were so kind and knowledgeable about their bakery goods and all things Italian. I wanted one of everything and could have sat there all day and sip on their delicious coffee and sample the delectable pastries! I can’t wait to go back and try one of their savory subs! It truly is a Hidden Gem! Grazi Mr. Nino and the education on olive oil too. I really enjoyed my visit and how you made me feel like family as soon as I walked in the door!
Judy T — Google review
Was just there today for lunch with 9 other people. The staff did a great job accommodating all of us. We had pizza and then bought delicious pastries! The kicker is I forgot my left-over pizza and they are saving it for me to come get! Just amazing!

Ihad such a great experience! The service was excellent-Soozie was warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. I tried a bagel sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. This place has such a welcoming vibe, and I'll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Got ice cream, candy, and 2 pieces of fudge. Let me just say. Perfection! Lady helping was so nice and helpful, served with a smile. Everything was clean and labeled. Ice cream was devoured by both boys, keylime fudge was absolute heaven.

Ordered a pound of milk chocolate fudge for my kids only to be given chocolate jalapeño fudge. What a waste of $28.
Jessica O — Google review
Paid $21 dollars for two pieces of chocolate and when I asked why it was so expensive I was told it was priced “by the pound”. Went to try the Jumbo Turtle and the chocolate tastes old and stale. All of the other chocolates we bought tasted just as bad. Definitely not fresh.
Grace W — Google review
My boyfriend and myself got ice cream tonight. 2 scoops for both of us was $30!!!!!!!!! Insanity. that's literally NYC pricing. Then have the nerve to ask for a tip. I understand businesses need to make a profit but c'mon.

Great sweets shop. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We sampled the Gelato and I got the Cookie Munster Gelato. Was so good!
Tricia C — Google review
We found the place to be quaint but expensive at $10 for a medium scoop of Gelato. ( prices were not posted). Head over to The Good Ole Days for ice cream at half the price!
Carol O — Google review
Cute shop with large variety of fudge, gelato, and truffles. I tried the tiger stripe fudge as well as the toffee fudge. The fudge squares are cut to a good size and can be shared between two people if you so desire. The best fudge I've ever tasted, as it is rich and delectable. I wish I had gotten more before I flew back home! I noticed that some of the truffles are sugar-free if that is a concern, and I am sure they carry other sugar-free products if this is a concern. The customer service was friendly and helpful, making the experience that much more enjoyable. I hope to visit this cute shop again.

An unexpected adorable vintage shop in the middle of a modern mall. Sweet staff. Fun decor. Ordered a delicious iced mocha frappe with whipped topping. The perfect treat to start off our vacation. All sorts of small breakfast baked goods & sandwiches. A light lunch menu. And a fun selection of ice cream. We’ll definitely be back.

We stopped in the marina for fuel and lunch. Due to hurricane Milton, there was no tying up boat for a lunch stay. We ran into this coffee/sandwich shop and ordered 9 sandwiches to go. Asked how long as dock was pressuring us, and was told 20 mins. No problem. We paid, threw nice tip in jar and walked around a bit. Came back and order was about ready. Lady came out from back and said we should have called first, as they had to turn others away due to our order. Then was told there is a 20% customary tip. Finally, they said some orders were substituted chips for potato salad as they ran out. We received no salad whatsoever. And how did lady in back making sandwiches know how much I had already tipped? Boy, sorry for the inconvenience, won’t ever be going back there again!

Just a small coffee and ice cream dive located on the pier. You are greeted with a smile and a genuine customer first attitude! They have unique flavors available in cup or cone that are perfect for a hot gulf day. I tried the rum raisin and it was great.

Busy place in the morning! Great coffee. Good, fast service. My latte was delicious and very hot. Sometimes lattes are cooled off too much, but not this one!

A "scoop" of nostalgia! A cozy corner ice cream and coffee parlor with a 50's/60's feel. A traditional selection of real ice cream (one non-dairy option) served on a traditional cone, waffle cone, or in a cup! If it's early (or it's been a rough day lol) grab one of their signature coffees! A local business serving good ol' feels!
Leo N — Google review
I walked into the store with my bird on my shoulder, a reminder that the owners of Fisherman’s Village are big animal rescue advocates and support many local rescues. Instead of kindly asking me to leave, I was told, “You need to leave right now.” I expressed that there was no sign saying they have a no-pet policy. I left with no problems. Then the workers continued to talk badly about me bringing my parrot in after I had left, and people came up to my booth and told me multiple times that the manner in which they spoke to/about me was not professional. When I went back in to ask about pet policy, I was told, “We don’t allow pets, only service animals, and sometimes we don’t even allow service animals,” which is illegal. They will not be getting my money anymore. I have no problem with the fact that my animal wasn’t aloud into the store, but I do have a problem with the way they rudely spoke to me and continued to talk about me.

A Disastrous Experience – Avoid at All Costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. This coffee shop is an absolute disgrace. From the moment I walked in, I was met with passive-aggressive and downright rude service. The attendants acted like I was inconveniencing them just by existing, let alone ordering something. I foolishly ordered tea, thinking it would be a simple, enjoyable experience. Instead, I was charged a ridiculous $7 for two tiny cups—and to make matters worse, they had the audacity to charge extra for sugar. When I questioned this absurd fee, the employee justified it by saying the sweetener they use comes from a squirt bottle. Seriously? Since when does pressing a nozzle warrant an upcharge? And the tea itself? Pulled straight from a refrigerator and poured out of a pitcher that looked like the same one my mother uses to make Kool-Aid. Not freshly brewed, not even properly prepared—just lukewarm disappointment ladled out like it was made in someone’s kitchen five days ago. For what I paid, I expected quality and service, but instead, I got overpriced, stale tea served with a side of attitude. This place clearly thrives on gouging customers while treating them like an inconvenience. There are countless better options where you’ll actually be respected and get what you pay for. Save yourself the frustration and go anywhere else!
Bill R — Google review
Awesome Ice-cream and some unique options! I think there are some coffee and alcohol mix options too. I don’t drink but it might be interesting for those who do. Love that there is indoor and outdoor seating! There is parking right next to the store but it may be too busy to find something close given the location. Make sure to try the hurricane charley flavor!

Tummy! What a charming place. Kids loved the ice cream, specifically the Gator Trail. I loved the iced coffee with a shot of alcohol. Great prices. Stop if you can!

The ice cream here is very good! There are many flavors, and the staff is kind. The inside of the ice cream parlor gives you a really local Babcock Ranch vibe.

I ordered an espresso shot milkshake with a shot of khalua rum then took it across the street and drank it by the lakefront. Great ice cream and coffee with a nice hostess behind the counter! I can’t wait to go back.

Why did I get my milkshake in a coffee cup? It’s very watered down, the lady who was serving us was chewing her gum so loud with her mouth open the whole time. Inappropriate. Will never buy here again. Do better. 6/14 7:13

Nice new place, outside seating, besides the inside. It smelled like bacon, when I walked in. Cappuccino was $3.95, a bit pricey, as was the ice cream; which tasted a bit stale and was very hard.

Watson's Ice Cream is a delightful ice cream parlor that has left many customers thrilled with its offerings. The shop is conveniently located, and visitors are greeted warmly upon arrival. The atmosphere inside the parlor is calm and inviting, with pleasant music playing in the background. Customers have raved about the delicious ice cream flavors available, such as red velvet, chocolate, and birthday cake. The serving sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the high quality of the ice cream.
Great ice cream at great prices. Homemade with lots of flavors to choose from. Services excellent and the servers are very, very, very friendly. Very happy to have found this place and definitely plan to return!

I do like this ice cream establishment. I suppose the prices are about average but the ice cream selection and helpings make the price worth it. The selection for the most part seems to be unique to this place. The “unique” I’ve creams seem to be local favorites. They are definitely worth the try of in the area. The place is family owned. They and their employees seem to be very nice and efficient. It does stay pretty busy in there but they have the place managed well. My only personal setback, and again this is personal preference, is that the place, in my opinion is overly dog friendly. There has pretty much always been a dog or two that come through the establishment the short time I’ve been there. I am not a dog hater, but I believe dogs or any animals should not be permitted inside establishments where food is being served or consumed. Certain trained, legitimate service animals I suppose might be the exception but these dogs are clearly not service animals. I have unfortunately witnessed animals in other eateries, defecate on the floor, be aggressive toward people and even attack other dogs. That being said, I do not find comfort in an eating establishment that seems to freely allow any dogs into the place with their owner. If you’re a dog lover or don’t mind dogs being present while you eat, this place is for you. If you have a real issue with animals being present while you eat or an allergy to them, this might not work for you.

They make the waffle bowls, brownies and whipped cream ya'll! If you want variety they got it! Between flavors and toppings you'll find a delicious combination, and don't forget a pint to bring home! The shop's so cute and relaxed, love this place!

Watson’s is one of our favorite places to grab ice cream in Punta Gorda! The staff is incredibly friendly and keeps the line moving swiftly, ensuring you don't wait long to satisfy your sweet tooth. Their selection of flavors is impressive, including some unique specialties that stand out. Our top picks are the Butterscotch Explosion, a delightful mix of butterscotch ice cream, sea salt caramel ribbon, Heath bar pieces, Oreos, mini peanut butter cups, and brownie bites, and the Triple PB, which features creamy peanut butter ice cream with a peanut butter ribbon and peanut butter cups. The creamsicle is another solid choice. Adding to the appeal, Watson’s frequently hosts food trucks in their lot, allowing you to enjoy a meal before diving into dessert. They even cater to your furry friends with Ben & Jerry's Doggie Desserts, making it a dog-friendly destination. The portions at Watson’s are generous. A single scoop is quite large and a double scoop has to be close to a pint. Their commitment to quality and excellent customer service makes every visit a pleasure.

I got the birthday cake flavor and it was so delicious you can actually taste everything that’s in it, and the service is so friendly! Feels very comfortable sitting in the shop very calm nice music and the atmosphere is great I thoroughly enjoyed it! Would come again and recommend to others for sure, serving sizes are also very generous prices are very good for the very good quality of the ice cream! And they have all types of cookie dough and so many flavors, toppings, and so yummy!

The absolute best non-dairy ice cream I’ve EVER had!! The best ice cream! Was soooo good! Such a treat! I was visiting from Maryland!
Danielle D — Google review
Homemade amish made icecream! I don’t think I have ever seen bigger portion sizes at an icecream place in my life. I only would have gotten one scoop if I knew that. I love that there are toppings to add at the end like if you went to a frozen yogurt place. If you want to sample first, you’re allowed two sample choices! There is only one bench for outside sitting so just be prepared to be inside to eat!

We love Watson's! The staff is friendly and ice cream is delicious. They have plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from, many toppings, and cup, cone, waffle bowl, sundae, shake/malt, banana split.

I have been to this cute dessert shop twice. Once for coffee and once for gelato. Both were DELICIOUS! The Salted Caramel Gelato was creamy and flavorful. This is a cute authentic Italian cafe, mini-store, and wine shop (see pics). Will definitely be back.

Fresco has the best gelato ice cream in central Florida! I love their chocolate and coconut combination. Their waffle cone is amazing as well! I hope more people would try this awesome please! Next time I would also try some pastries because they look really yummy as well.

Very charming coffee and ice cream shop. They make their own desserts and gelato. Coffee is amazing and the service is very good. There is wine available and indoor as well as outdoor seating. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Best coffee shop in Punta Gorda!! Thank you for serving good coffee and ice cream here, I can’t wait to go back. And shoutout to Kendall for the nicest hospitality!! 10 out of 10

My sister and I tried this place today. We were extremely impressed. We got the strawberry gelato and the lemon gelato, they were very creamy and the flavors were phenomenal. Easily the best gelato we’ve ever had. I also tried an organic mango smoothie and it was fresh and delicious. We got a piece of chocolate mousse cake to go, and it was so rich. We also got a mixed berry cheesecake to go and it was super creamy and good. The environment was extremely clean, welcoming and beautifully decorated. The lady who got our food and drinks together was extremely friendly and wonderful to talk to.

The cutest place with super friendly staff. The salted caramel gelato was delightful, as was their iced coffee and almond croissants. & Priced very reasonably. Can’t wait to go back!

Such a cute addition to the area. You feel like you're experiencing a little bit of Europe with the Italian coffee, pastries and gelato.

Cool place I found on the way to the Punta Gorda farmers market! Parked right next to it and got a latte with a bit of chocolate since they don’t do mochas. Want to come back to try the gelato that seems to be their speciality! They seem to also be building an area for consuming wine but I’m not sure. Overall a nice place in a location that will only get more popular!

Gigi’s Ice Cream Shop is absolutely incredible! The ice creams and pastries are beyond delicious, every bite was full of flavor and made with such care. The shop has such a warm and inviting vibe, and the variety they offer makes it hard to choose (in the best way!). A special shoutout to Haley!!! she was so sweet, welcoming, and super informative. She took the time to guide each of us to the perfect ice cream flavor, and she absolutely nailed it. Her kindness and knowledge made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for amazing desserts and wonderful service, Gigi’s is the place to go!

The photos will say it all. The first photo shows the ice cream nachos and how they are posted on Facebook. The second photo is what I received. The waffle “chips” consisted of extremely broken cone pieces. For $10, this was extremely disappointing for a first visit. The atmosphere consisted of only four tables and many flavors were out. The ice cream tasted good, but other poor factors outweighed the what was good. I then proceeded to put this photo onto their Facebook page to show the owner that I was disappointed, only to find out my post was deleted and I was entirely blocked from their page. I was really excited to try this place but I unfortunately will probably not be going back.
Anna B — Google review
Best ice cream I've ever had! Original flavors like pineapple cheesecake and mango vanilla. All made in-house by the owner. Locally owned and operated. What else could you ask for! And the service was fantastic! Can't wait to come back.

Great acai bowls, friendly service, amazing location! Love Gigi’s, getting acai bowls and ice cream with friends, love supporting small businesses. It’s a great addition to the historic downtown area :).

We stopped by Gigi’s Ice Cream and loved it! 🍦 We tried a little bit of everything—gelato, a root beer float, and the kids enjoyed their ice cream (plus a cute little ducky to take home 🐥). Everything was delicious, and it’s the perfect spot to cool off on a hot day. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at Gigi’s Ice Cream in Punta Gorda! The worker was incredibly friendly and patient, especially with our wishy-washy kids who kept changing their minds. They were super helpful in guiding us through the choices and made the whole visit enjoyable. Delicious ice cream and even better service—highly recommend!

Just had two amazing ice creams from Gigi's in Punta Gorda—the Tin Lizzy was out of this world, and the Parleen Pecan was absolutely to die for! This is definitely a go-to spot in Punta Gorda. Stop by and see Gigi—she’ll be happy to help you find your new favorite flavor. --- If you’d like, I can also make you a shorter, snappier version that’s perfect for a quick social media post.
Ida M — Google review
I really wanted to love this place. I went when it first opened and the selection was very limited in the evening. The atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. The ice cream was just ok. Fast forward to today to give it another shot. Same limitations, same dull atmosphere. I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream with hot fudge. It was handed to me with sauce dripping down the cup in a mess. The price was just short of $8.00. This will be my last visit.
