Nestled in Lake George, The Log Jam Restaurant offers a cozy and rustic dining experience with its authentic Adirondack logging camp atmosphere. The restaurant's log cabin setting is complete with three large stone fireplaces, creating a warm and inviting ambiance during the winter months. Known for its American classics like crab cakes and char-grilled steaks, the menu also features an unlimited salad bar with fresh options.
Fantastic salad bar! Soooo many choices! Paired with the soup of the day, or the French onion, this is a great meal! Three of our party chose the chicken wings and add-on salad bar. Two of us had to bring wings home as they were monstrous! Perfectly cooked, the hot were pleasantly spicy with a great flavor, while the BBQ were solid and a hit with the teen members of the group. Great ambiance and a fantastic server made for a perfect lunch for our group.

We had reservations and got right in. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy. We sat on the outside closed in porch with all the plants. The salad bar was amazing! The food was good too. We also had dessert coffee afterwards. More places need to do the dessert coffee because then I’d actually get dessert lol!

My wife Wei and I actually stumbled upon Log Jam Restaurant in Lake George by mistake, as I was driving towards Vermont, and honestly, it was the happiest mistake I’ve ever made! Ever since that first visit years ago, it’s become my go-to spot every time I’m in the area. The wood décor makes you feel like you’re dining inside a cozy Adirondack lodge, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. The service? Always top-notch, friendly, quick, and welcoming. The food? Incredible! My personal favorite is the lobster roll, so good it deserves its own fan club. 🦞 Every bite feels like a little vacation for your taste buds. Amazing salat bar, I also LOVE their coffee. If you’re anywhere near Lake George, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it, actually, you’ll probably end up like me, finding excuses to come back again and again. Highly recommended (and when you try the lobster roll, you can thank me later 😉).

What a charming spot! So glad we were able to dine here during our visit to the area. The log cabin atmosphere is cozy and intimate with great attention to detail and festive fall decor. The staff are very friendly and attentive from start to finish. Their salad bar is excellent with lots of options to choose from. Our entrees were delicious and cooked as ordered. Special shout-out to our server, Stacey R, who was excellent and efficient. Highly recommend a stop at the Log Jam Cabin!

I was in the Lake George area and I was looking for food and it was in the middle of the day and I came across the Log Jam. I checked it out on Google and it was rated at 4.4 stars, but I’m always one to go in and try places even if they’re not highly rated because I know humans can often have varying experience and taste and expectations. Well, I started out with the bacon wrapped shrimp, which I have to say paired really well with a paradox pilsner. I ordered the cranberry chicken breast which came with rice which entitled me to the Salad bar. I have to say I haven’t seen a Salad bar since the 70s. Yes I know I’m old. Let’s hold all the comments. And I was pleasantly surprised by everything on the salad bar. I forgot to take pictures of the chicken, but here is a photograph of the bacon wrap shrimp which I would highly recommend and also a picture of the masterpiece of a salad that I made. I also got the bread pudding, but once again forgot to take a picture. Refer back to the above comment about me being old.

Nice restaurant in a rustic log cabin, many rooms plenty of seating. We had reservations and we were seated no waiting. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and they have a very large salad bar, we had a group of four. We really enjoyed it. 😋
Stevie — Google review
Great food with nice sized portions. The salad bar has tons of options, lots of bread options as well. The dessert was absolutely delicious as well!
Nicole H — Google review
Great meal. The lobster roll was large and very reasonable priced. The salad bar came with the meal to my surprise, and that was fresh and filled with a lot of great topping options. The crab cake and scallop appetizers were fantastic as well. We finished with the apple crisp and it was delicious. I will definitely come here again.

Wedding venue
The Erlowest & Sun Castle Resort is an elegant inn offering old-world quarters, some with balconies, and an upscale restaurant and bar. The resort boasts a rich culinary experience with renowned chefs and talented mixologists. Located on Millionaires Row, the resort offers stunning vistas of Lake George and greets guests with a 12-foot stained glass window at the main staircase and chilled champagne.
I was recently a wedding photographer at the Inn and let me tell you, it was such an amazing place to be able to use my artistic eye. From the beautiful background for the outdoor ceremony - to the amazing light that comes into the venue from the windows - it was really all that a professional could ask for! The food and service was some of the best I have ever seen or experienced and we know as vendors, how important that is for us! They treated me like a guest and I was so thankful to have water provided for me without asking! I would be back in an INSTANT and my family and I will be visiting for a family vacation this year! @jenn.chirico.photo

The staff was very pleasant and welcoming, and the building and grounds in general were very lovely. Unfortunately our room - advertised as an elegant luxury suite - was somewhat less than elegant or luxurious. For the price we were charged for the room, it was definitely a disappointment. The odor from the restaurant kitchen exhaust fan situated right outside our window would infiltrate our room every morning and evening. The speaker of the TV in our room was apparently broken and the sound was completely distorted making it almost unwatchable. There were no towel hooks in the bathroom to hang anything at all. Our door to the hall and bathroom door knobs both didn’t latch at all. We found a washcloth in our bed when we checked in. The water pitcher in the hall was rarely refilled. We had to ask twice to have our closet light fixed. The house phone in our room was in disrepair and nothing was labeled - we had no idea how to call the front desk or housekeeping. There were blackout shades in the bathroom but not in the main room (as is found even in the most inexpensive of hotel/motels) so there was no way to sleep late without being woken up at sunrise. The bathroom was appointed with the cheapest toilet paper imaginable, the kind we’d expect to find at a highway public restroom. The shower curtain in the bathroom had a big tear and appeared to have been hastily cut by hand to shorten it and was now frayed along the entire bottom edge.. The small shampoos, conditioners and such (you usually find in hotel bathrooms) were all at least half empty and clearly used.

Went to Terrace Tuesday in August and enjoyed dinner with a view of Lake George. Lighter fare and laid back guitarist made for a chill summer evening. Attended an intimate wedding in September. the exterior and interior spaces are stunning and the food was the best I’ve had in both the Capital regional and the Adks.

The Inn at Erlowest is one of the most historic venues on Lake George. As a wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to places that feel like they hold both story and soul. The lakefront ceremony spot is absolutely stunning. With sweeping views of Lake George and the mountains beyond, it offers that rare kind of stillness that makes a ceremony feel sacred. The light is beautiful, the setting feels tucked away and intentional. Inside, the historic ballroom is timeless and elegant — rich in character without being overly ornate. It’s the perfect backdrop for a celebration that feels elevated, warm, and deeply personal. The flow from the outdoor ceremony to indoor reception is seamless, and the staff takes such great care of the couple and their guests. If you're planning a wedding that combines natural beauty, history, and heartfelt celebration, The Inn at Erlowest is a truly unforgettable place to say “I do.” — Julia Starkey, Julia Rebecca Photography

We recently got married at The Erlowest, and the staff were wonderful to work with. Even though it was only a 30 person wedding, we received the dedication and attention to detail that you would expect for a much larger wedding. Molly and LeAnna did an amazing job coordinating every detail of our wedding, as well as Laurie who handled the accommodations for all of our guests at the resort. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and setting for our special day, which ended up being everything we could have ever hoped for. Even though it rained, we still had a beautiful ceremony under the covered courtyard with the misty mountains and lake as a picturesque backdrop. Afterwards we had a Tuscan table dinner under the covered balcony on what ended up being a beautiful evening, and the food was absolutely amazing. The fact that we could also have our families and friends all stay in the villas and townhouses on property with their kids is also what makes the Erlowest the complete package. We couldn't be happier, and we can't wait to visit again for our anniversary.

The Erlowest consistently exceeds expectations. The cuisine is exceptional. Each dish crafted with care and presented beautifully. The staff is attentive, gracious, and eager to accommodate any request. Natalia, the bartender, is a particularly talented mixologist, always creating great cocktails. The setting is nothing short of enchanting, with its grand Victorian-style property overlooking Lake George, offering breathtaking views and a touch of old-world charm. Truly, a dreamlike experience.

I don’t often leave Google reviews, but I truly feel compelled to share our first and last experience at The Erlowest because much of it concerns serious safety issues, along with disappointing service. To note, and it was never acknowledged, despite staff being aware ahead of time, that my husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and our daughter’s 16th birthday. Our family travels often, staying in everything from 1- to 5-star accommodations. I am a travel writer for a well-known magazine. Unfortunately, The Erlowest is officially ranked as our worst stay, ever. The only “pro” here is location, being a short drive to the Lake George Village, and our first time to this area. Otherwise, we experienced poor hospitality and unfriendliness, shabby accommodations, dirty property grounds, an extremely rude wedding coordinator belonging to this resort, who yelled at a child (not ours) and gave us a terrible attitude just for walking to our own property, a nighttime power outage with zero help from staff or safety measures in place, including a terrifying event involving another guest, all of which put our lives in danger, and cutting our stay short. On our last night, the power went out around 6:30 pm and remained off throughout the night. It was literally pitch black with no emergency lighting anywhere inside or outside. When I asked for a flashlight, staff told me: “use your phone flashlight is all we can recommend.” The guest services manager was “out sick and unavailable,” leaving staff unprepared and guests completely on their own. Around 11:30 pm, while still without power, we endured a nightmarish encounter with another guest that forced us to call the police. We were growled at, sexually harassed, and taunted in an extremely disturbing way. My 16-year-old daughter and I remain shaken as I write this. With no staff support and unsafe conditions, we cut our stay short and drove five hours home in the middle of the night. Beyond that traumatic event, the resort falls short in basic hospitality: — Staff were unfriendly and dismissive from the start, despite us celebrating a 10-year anniversary and 16th birthday noted in an email to them a month in advance. — Breakfast was terrible, overpriced, and not complimentary despite reviews stating otherwise. — Pool was freezing, though advertised as heated. — The two “beach” areas were extremely tiny, dirty, ant-infested, and overrun by ducks, feces, and feathers. —Loungers were dirty, and ducks tried to bite when approaching the “beach”. — Our townhouse needed deep cleaning. Upholstery was stained, blinds were ripped upon our arrival (not fixed until next day with zero apology), several bulbs were out, and water temps out of the faucets and shower heads well exceeded 120 degrees, a safety hazard, scolding our skin. The power issue isn’t new. Staff told us this was the fourth outage of this summer alone. Yet the manager, Laurie, later acted to me like it was the first time, seemingly compassionate about our ordeal, however offering excuses and only partially comping us that night (not even including nearly $100 in taxes/fees we paid, she only comped the base room rate per my credit card). A generator exists for the staff/main area, but not for their other guests. As a frequent traveler and travel writer, I can confidently say that The Erlowest is both unsafe and inhospitable. I would never return, even if paid to do so. If you value your safety, please take this review seriously. The full story of the horrific incident we faced is in the “safety section” of my review.

We recently had our wedding at Erlowest and it was the most incredible weekend! From start to finish, Erlowest was so accommodating and helpful, and helped make the wedding planning process run so smoothly, which was especially helpful as we live out of state. LeAnna, Laurie, and Molly were a dream to work with, and truly made our wedding weekend absolute perfection- our vision came to life and we could not be happier. We ended up going with the rain option and it was just as beautiful as being down by the lake. The food was outstanding and everyone raved about it! I cannot recommend Erlowest and their team enough!

Nestled along Beach Road in Lake George, The Pink Roof has been a beloved destination for frozen treats since 1970. Its charming pastel-painted shingles make it hard to miss! This delightful ice cream stand offers a variety of options, including vanilla soft serve swirled with unique flavor bursts like cotton candy and coffee n cream.
Fast efficient service and the milkshake was thick and tasty! A perfect treat to enjoy the spectacular lake with. There are many many ice cream and sweet shops in this village and I’m glad I chose this one 💜

This is the best soft serve ice cream in Lake George! Huge portion sizes for the price. They have dips and flavor burst options as well. Located close to the steamboats, Around the World minigolf, and the fort. Image is a large vanilla with strawberry flavor burst. Note: cash only.

We love this spot ! Refreshing slushy, yummy ice cream and delicious sundae! And the prices are great as well I got 5 items for $25 The staff is super friendly as well and it’s right by the Lake George, Willam fort and steam boats. So after you go to one of those places you can get a delicious treat. We definitely will be coming back on our next visit.

Single Scoop Cookie Dough Cream in a Waffle Cone...That's what I get every single time! Wait time is decently fast, but lines to get long fast! Regardless I LOVE the Pink Roof and it still lives on as my favorite sweet treat stop when I'm on the lake! Plus I love going at night because the ambiance is incredible!

Got a small cherry slushy the taste was terrible , tasted like cough syrup , the ice cream was $6 for a kids cup which also just had no flavor to it , I had a cone from Burger King a few days before this and I can say it was 5x better in taste. Many other options in the area I would choose from next Time.
Jonathan P — Google review
It was a beautiful day in the summer with cool breeze and light drizzle when I tried their hard ice cream on a cone for the first time. Friendly staff, scoops were big/generous in size and all the flavors I had were delicious.
Nida K — Google review
I was pleasantly surprised by this little ice cream shop when I stopped by for a quick cone before my cruise. I got a medium soft serve chocolate cone, and I was expecting a miniscule amount of ice cream for the amount I paid, which was very inexpensive. But when I got the cone, they were very generous with the serving, and it tasted great. If I had known about this place beforehand, I would have made sure I stopped by sooner. Next time I go to Lake George, I will be sure this will be one of the first stops I make to get my ice cream fix.

Bistro LeRoux is a charming spot in Lake George known for its French-accented cuisine and cozy ambiance. The restaurant features multiple rooms adorned with artwork and offers views of the open kitchen. Guests can indulge in a variety of delectable dishes, such as Roasted Tomato and Cognac Bisque, Truffled Pomme Frites, Mascarpone Stuffed Poached Pear Salad, and Cabernet Braised Short Ribs.
This chef owned and operated facility was top tier. We were greeted by our hostess when we entered, as well as the chefs at the open concept kitchen area, before being promptly seated. Our server made sure we were well attended to throughout our service with drinks, food suggestions and an outstanding dessert recommendation. It's a small bistro style aesthetic that feels cozy and inviting. We ordered drinks, 3 small portions of some of their main dishes, dessert and a couple of dessert cocktails. The meals were the perfect size to try multiple dishes without being overfull. The chocolate mousse cup dessert was the perfect end to compliment the meal.

This popular spot in Lake George is known for its delicious breakfast options such as pancakes, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and homemade bagels.
It’s my second time coming here. The first time I came was around April for the solar eclipse. The breakfast is really good. I haven’t tried the lunch yet, but I will definitely try the lunch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel at home. The coffee is top-notch—rich, smooth, and freshly brewed every time. Their breakfast options are delicious and made with care, especially the pastries and sandwiches that pair perfectly with their drinks. Portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. We got some coffees (roasted in shop) with some wonderful art in the foam. We ordered some apple pull parts which were delicious and perfectly sweet. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits breakfast and was very happy with the quality of the food. It was a cute little coffee shop with wonderful workers and a great atmosphere. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Lake George.

Quick Stop at Caffe Vera, Lake George, NY Lake George never disappoints, and neither does its food scene! 🌊 During my quick stop at Caffe Vera, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy vibes and the stunning views right across the lake. It’s the perfect spot to fuel up before exploring the area. What really caught my eye was their old coffee bean roaster on display! It’s such a charming nod to their love for coffee, and it adds so much character to the space. Definitely a highlight for coffee enthusiasts. Here’s what I ordered: 🥞 Pancakes: Fluffy, golden, and perfectly sweet! These were everything you’d hope for in a classic breakfast dish. Add a drizzle of syrup, and you’re in heaven. 🥓 BLT Sandwich: Crisp bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes on toasted bread. Simple, but oh-so-satisfying. 🌯 Breakfast Wrap: Packed with eggs, cheese, and veggies – a hearty, grab-and-go option for anyone on the move. The service was quick and friendly, and the location? Unbeatable. If you’re passing through Lake George, make sure to stop here for a bite and soak in the lakeside charm.

Came because I heard they had made donuts and cinnamon rolls, but there weren't any available. The server said she believed they don't make them anymore. The photos were from older reviews that I has seen. The cinnamon roll was good, but idk if I'd travel and spend $5 for it. It was just a bit dry and not my preferred style of cinnamon roll.
Cody W — Google review
I went here because I heard it was dog friendly. It was. I went inside and ordered a pumpkin latte and a breakfast sandwich. The food and drink were amazing. A bee drciddd to take a nosedive into my latte, and the server, Trinity, went above and beyond to make sure I had a new, fresh one, but also to make sure we were comfortable. Trinity offered my dog water, was very nice, and made sure we had the best experience there. The atmosphere was cozy, the music was nice, and with the great food, I would go back. I think it is my new favorite coffee place in the area. I also love that the pumpkin latte clearly had a fresh pumpkin puree and not a spice syrup. The bacon on the sandwich was crispy, not burnt and tasted so fresh. I have been dreaming about it since. I definitely recommend!

The cafe is super cute but wait times can be long and we ordered a vegetarian omelette that unfortunately had a piece of bacon in it! Coffee was amazing though

We were recommended here by local friends, and Caffe Vero did not disappoint! We had the biscuits and gravy special and it was some of the most flavorful biscuits and gravy we’ve had! We also had a shamrock mocha latte and cinnamon roll latte - both were delicious. The best coffee we’ve had on our road trip so far. The barista even did beautiful art in our coffees. Highly recommend.

Lone Bull Pancake & Steak House is a rustic seasonal eatery located at the north end of downtown Lake George. The restaurant, which has been serving classic American comfort dishes for over 40 years, offers traditional daytime fare and is known for its hearty plates. It's a breakfast-only joint with an Adirondack theme and spacious seating, including off-street parking - a rarity in Lake George.
I had a great experience at The Lone Bull. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked, with a buttery flavor that stood out. The potatoes were well-seasoned and crispy—definitely a solid side. What really stood out, though, was the strawberry milkshake. It was rich, creamy, and tasted like it was made with real strawberries. Simple, comforting food done right. I recommend for anyone looking for a quick breakfast!!

We went to this breakfast restaurant on a Friday morning and were anticipating a hearty breakfast as advertised on their sign out front. We were pleased with our server who was attentive and gave quick service. However the food was a bit lacking. I had the sausage and eggs and my partner had the ham and eggs- both came with pancakes. My partner was told he was not allowed to add modifications to his pancakes (i.e. blueberries), even after offering to pay for blueberries, because they were a smaller size, approximately an average pancake size. The coffee was also sour. Otherwise, it was an alright meal with good service.

Coming here for over 25 years and they never fail to satisfy. Friendly, quick service, even at the height of the season. Food is fresh and delicious. They don’t bring you just a cup of coffee, but a pot along with it. Large, clean country place. Plenty of spacious seating, large parking area. Very comfortable place to sit and relax. We love it.

Great breakfast for a great price. The atmosphere is a little dated and tired. Old pine finish and sagging ceiling. But the food was great and the service was very good. I suggest the build your own Omlette, which comes with pancakes.

I was searching for a quick brunch before leaving Lake George. This place offers delicious steak and eggs, along with great coffee. My steak was cooked perfectly, and my server was very friendly and attentive. It's also an excellent spot for kids and older adults.

When 1st opened, served bkfst, lunch & dinner. Around 1989, began only serving bkfst. Sign still says Pancakes-Steaks. As a nod to their past, the serve Steak and eggs...Eggs any style, steak, homefries, and either 3 Pancakes or toast. My husband liked it. Omelets are good, and I saw a lot of customers order the French Raisin Cinnamon Toast. It's big inside and can accommodate a lot of people, so don't be discouraged if you see people out the door. Service is great and portion sizes are like they are from Texas! Family owned. Cute decor. Definitely worth the stop!! Wish they had gluten free options.

Hello , I took my Family to the Lone Bull restaurant for the first time during our stay in lake George 7, 2025. It was around 9:00am in the morning with only a few families dinning . The server was Shannon who asked us half way through our meal , How's everything and I'm not rushing you but I was wondering if you would like to take a cup of coffee with you that meanwhile is on our table already . So I said that would be nice thanks . When the waitress Shannon gave me the bill she charged me for another coffee without telling me first . I could have sat at my table longer enjoying my coffee but she offered me a container for the coffee I already paid for . meanwhile the restaurant was 3/4 empty . Yes the food was good but I feel this was a very unprofessional ! Dear owner of the Lone Bull , I appreciate you replying back to my first review of your restaurant but I would like to clear thing up . I never asked your waitress Shannon for a coffee to go . She ask me if I would like to take the coffee on our table that I was drinking already in a to - Go cup ! . So I hope this clears thing up for you and maybe retaining your employees who work one day a week or seven days a week so other customers don't get charged for something they never asked for . Best Regards

Great service from our waitress however when we asked a different waitress (manly, grey hair, woman, braided hair, broad, very muscular and manly) for coffee that was in front of her we were told that she isn't our waitresses as she walked off. I ordered a medium rare and it came out almost raw so I sent it back but instead of coming back in a few minutes it took almost 10 and was burnt, overdone, chewy and hard. It felt like retaliation to me sending it back. Potato's weren't cooked, eggs were chewy but at least the lemonade was good 👍

The Boathouse Restaurant, located on the western side of Lake George, offers an upscale dining experience with stunning panoramic views of the lake from its terrace. Housed in a 19th-century building, this former estate has been serving food enthusiasts for nearly 35 years. The restaurant features a diverse menu including juicy burgers, signature sandwiches, and imaginative New-American cuisine prepared with fresh local ingredients.
Fantastic dinner spot! We kicked things off with the pretzel appetizer—delicious! I had the Bugatti margarita, which was fantastic, and their beer selection was good too. We tried a bit of everything: the salmon salad, clam chowder, and the New York strip—all of which were incredible. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we appreciated how quickly they got our order in. Keep in mind, we visited in April during the off-season, so it wasn’t overly crowded. That might change during peak times, but it was perfect for us. What really made the evening special was the view. We had calming lake views throughout dinner—definitely try to get a seat by the windows if you can. Highly recommend this place whether you’re celebrating something or just out for a casual Friday night like we were.

The atmosphere and view at this restaurant are absolutely beautiful. The space is large and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal. I really enjoyed the appetizers, especially the onion soup — full of flavor! The salmon was also very good, though I wish it came with a bit more rice. That said, the portion overall was satisfying. The waitress and host were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful views of the lake! The food and service were excellent! We had the Bavarian steak and Cajun salmon followed by the flourless chocolate cake. Everything was outstanding and I’m looking forward to returning on our next visit to Lake George.

To be honest, we were slightly disappointed with our night at the boathouse restaurant. For a highly rated restaurant, we expected better dishes. The Jaeger snitzle was very nice (Oktoberfest special), but shrimp linguine was okay at best. The pasta dish was drowned in sauce and tastes nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good, people we're respectful and timely for a busy night.

This is always a stop during our visits to Saratoga races ...the table we were seated at had the best view (even given the rainy weather), there was a cloud hovering over the water, it was so cool! Our food was good our waitress was excellent! Until the next time ...

We’re been here three or fours times before & after the 4th of July. Drinks are always cold, service & atmosphere are always superb. Great view of lake from outdoor patio with live entertainment Saturday evening.

Good food and view. Make reservations. It gets really busy and it can take a while to get your food so try to know what you want to order ahead of time and place your order with your drink order, especially if there are multiple large groups seated in your area.

We for lunch last week during octoberfest and had Diane as our waitress. She was friendly and attentive. Great view, a quiet late thursday lunch which we enjoy this time of year, as well as our week stay at The Lodges! I had a chicken sandwich, it was good but needed more seasoning, perhaps next time i’ll ask for it blackened. My husband enjoyed his turkey sandwich but got swiss cheese (he really dislikes swiss) instead of the cheddar he asked for. I encouraged him to speak up which he did and it was corrected promptly.. wine was good! 😉 overall, a nice time ! See you In the spring! 🌷

We had an amazing experience at this steak house! It had a great atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly staff. Nikia was our server and she is probably the best waitress I have ever met, she was very positive, very attentive and made great recommendations for our whole family. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a wonderful experience.

Visited the area from Indiana. The restaurant was adorable. The waitress was excellent. The food was “interesting.” Husband ordered sirloin, med rare and it was cooked well done. A bit dry. His lobster was good. I ordered the pork shank with blackberry glaze. I couldn’t eat it nor the mashed potatoes due to the glaze over them which did not compliment anything. And the onion rings over everything was a no for me. Our friends, 1 ordered a chicken pasta dish which was just ok. The other ordered t-bone and it was fine, cooked according to the request. Salads were good, bread was very bland. The crackers and spread were delicious. All of the drinks were spot on. I’d say it’s a gamble to eat here which was so disappointing since it had all the ingredients to make for an excellent experience.

Visited this establishment for the first time just by driving by because my family and I were hungry. The overall experience was great. The hostess was accommodating to my party of (5). The waitress was kind, courteous and professional. The drinks were great and the food was excellent. It was filling. The Cesar salad with anchovies was different but it was good. Whenever we are back in Lake George, we will visit again.

Stopped by by chance & by chance was lucky to get two seats at the bar without a reservation! Our first time here, so we decided to try some apps & a lite dish. The onion soup was loaded with goodies, we both felt the onion soup was good but thought it lacked some color & that beefy-sherry taste that we’ve come to enjoy. The manhattan sandwich was superb, tender & full of flavor as were the fries. The early bird special look wonderful & we’ll be back to try them. Bar staff friendly & engaging. All in all , a great date night.

The three of us had the drunken ribeye, prime rib with lobster tail and Alaskan king crab legs. I was all delicious, hot and flavorful and the service was very attentive and friendly. We've been here several times in the past for birthdays , anniversaries and just general dinner out occasions and it never disappoints.

This was the first time that my wife and I had eaten here. We were celebrating our anniversary. Our reservation was at 6 on a Saturday night and they seated us on time. There are many choices for places to eat in the area but we chose The Caldwell House because of the good reviews especially about the prime rib. They did not disappoint. The king cut prime rib was huge, cooked to perfection and had great flavor. All of the sides were delicious as well. We took bread pudding home for dessert and that was amazing as well. Not only was the food great but our server was very friendly, attentive and efficient. We are looking forward to going back in the future.

Cadwell House is truly a wonderful restaurant. I rarely write reviews, but the exceptional service here deserves recognition. The staff is always warm and attentive, and I find myself coming back often. Having worked in the restaurant industry for years, I can say with confidence that the prime rib was cooked to absolute perfection. The only downside to the evening was the group seated behind us, who loudly complained about their meals. We overheard them admit they do this regularly to try to get free food, which was disappointing to witness. That said, this experience only reinforced my appreciation for the professionalism and grace of the Cadwell House team. I’ll gladly share the full details with the owner, and I will 100% be back to support this outstanding staff and restaurant.

Tavern on the Lake, located in Lake George, offers a variety of exciting watersports like jet skiing, kayaking, and wakeboarding. However, parasailing stands out as the most popular activity in town. Visitors are drawn to this restaurant for its stunning views of the lake. The attentive and efficient servers provide excellent service that is highly recommended by customers. When it comes to food, the chicken sandwich with homemade potato chips is particularly impressive.
Amazing food. Quite a romantic ambiance place near Lake George. Good service but it takes time for food. Though they say no modifications to menu. They do consider allergies. Overall a Good experience. Loved it. And would like to visit again.

You are definitely paying for the view. Great view and great vibe. Sadly, the food did not match its appearance. If they somehow figure out how to make the food taste good, they will surely do wonderful. Although the views are making up the difference and it gets packed. We ordered a bunch of apps and were not impress even a little bit. Best tasting dish was the buffalo wings. Lobster bisque, lacking flavor and came out little hotter than room temp. Stuffed mushrooms were not cook all the way through, had to send it back. Crab cakes were so so. Nachos did not come out right, we ended up scratching that order as well. Service was good, our waiter was hustling and tried to make things better, although the food was def disappointing.
Brian M — Google review
The view is stunning and located in a perfect spot. You can boat right up to the dock and are met with friendly faces to help the docking experience. The service is pretty good, but the food is nothing special. You are definitely paying for the view, not the food. It is not terrible, just overpriced for the quality.
Emily V — Google review
The view is unbeatable but the food was below average. Probably the worst BLT I've ever had. It had wilted, dark lettuce too. The drink tasted very watered down.

We stopped here on Labor Day to enjoy the beautiful summer day with a view of the lake. 10/10 recommend making sure you are sitting where you have a view. Our server was lovely; very pleasant, attentive, and quick to get us anything we needed. Lastly, the food. Super impressed with the chicken sandwich and homemade potato chips. The chicken was thin, just like I love it, and the combo of apple, bacon, and cheese was delicious. However, the burger was "just okay", but nothing I would order again. The same goes for the onion rings; thick and not very crispy. Overall, great views and service. Decent food, depending upon what you order.
Jackie A — Google review
The views at this waterfront restaurant are truly spectacular—no argument there. It’s a beautiful setting, perfect for enjoying a drink or catching a sunset. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the ambiance. I ordered the bruschetta chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was supposed to be grilled, but it came out tasting more like it had been poached—soft, lacking any char or flavor you’d expect from grilling. The mashed potatoes were watery and bland, and the green beans didn’t add much to the plate. We also tried the birria mac and cheese, which sounded like a winning combination but was a major disappointment. The mac and cheese was watery, not gooey at all—especially surprising with birria, which should add richness and depth. For the price, I expected a much better dining experience. It feels like you’re paying for the view, not the food. A great spot for a drink and the scenery—but I wouldn’t come back for the meal.

As others have stated, very unclear pet policy. Told over the phone we could bring our dog depending on size, I told them (<35 pounds, small doodle) and response was its service pet only…? Also surprising for casual outdoor dining on the lake. The shack at Bolton landing a little ways up was great!

The Sundae lights and picturesque entrance caught my eye so I decided to venture into this quaint little candy land. Filled with every treat you can imagine! So many good flavors. We really liked the s'mores and the coffee. Unfortunately we went with the custard which fell a little flat. The cookies are huge and look delicious but again they were all cold. Overall if you get the right items this place is great but just have to be careful what you get.

The Canada Street location offers a variety of flavors filled with chocolate chunks, candy pieces, and cookie dough. In addition to serving sit-in and take-out options, the Lake George branch also provides event catering services. While the prices may be on the higher side, customers praise the delicious ice cream and quick, friendly staff. The owner is commended for his kindness towards both employees and customers.

Just want to start by saying the ice cream is fantastic but the service not so much. I understand it’s young kids who work the shop but they made my sister and I feel uncomfortable when ordering. I’ve been coming to this location since I was a little kid and just revisited it for the first time in decades. As soon as you walk in, it has the most delicious scent from the waffle cones, along with colorful, fun decor. I appreciate that they have vegan flavors! I got a small cup of the vegan mochachino chip and my fiance got the vegan strawberry swirl. For a small, it was a large portion of ice cream and very filling. Both flavors were absolutely delicious! Even more fresh tasting than the pints in grocery stores. I also appreciated the selection of merch (even if it was a little pricey). The employees were friendly and kind. The Around the USA course features recognizable landmarks from all over America, while the global-themed course takes players on a journey around the world. Located in the beautiful Adirondack region near Lake George, this mini-golf center has been featured in various magazines and offers a fun and affordable experience for visitors.
Had a great time with the family at the “Around the world mini golf” they have to options to pick from. Around the world, which each hole is a different country, and around The USA, which each whole is a different state. Each side has 18 holes. The whole golf course is kept up very nice and very entertaining for the family. Some holes are pretty difficult. Especially for smaller kids, but still very fun.

Adorable and fun mini golf set up. Plenty of cute hole set ups and gimmicks. It did feel a bit smaller than others I have been to with 18 holes but there was plenty to look at and fun moments to be had! It is sectioned off into 2 separate courses for different experiences. Definitely recommend for a quick game.

The creativity and attention to detail really made it feel like a mini adventure with every putt. It’s the perfect mix of friendly competition and light-hearted fun. We’ll definitely be coming back to try the U.S. course next time. Highly recommend this spot for couples, families, or anyone looking for a great time!

This traditional American restaurant with a wood-fired grill and outdoor patio is a classic in Bolton Landing, featuring delicious seafood, steak, sandwiches and more. The sister team of Stuart Smith and Connie Smith Maxam have owned and operated it for 26 years, providing an excellent local joint serving fantastic food in a homey setting with live music on select weekends.
My family and I recently dined at Frederick's Restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The cozy ambiance set the perfect tone for a relaxing evening with loved ones. The menu at Frederick's is truly exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options to satisfy every palate. From mouthwatering appetizers to delectable entrees and decadent desserts, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The quality of the food was very good What really stood out to us, though, was the impeccable service provided by the staff. Horrible experience tonight - first waitress was very rude; spoke to manager Bernie, he was very nice and responsive, moved our table from in between two loud drunk tables to a quieter area….second waitress was sweet, trying her best but the restaurant had a 35 person wedding and clearly cannot handle that and their regular customer base. Waited an hour for appetizers, meals were not good. We own a place here and will not return.

My family and I came to Frederick’s earlier this week, and we had the absolute best experience ever! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the staff members were so accommodating and friendly! Our waiter was very helpful and polite. The food was amazing as well! We ordered some appetizers as we weren’t super hungry, but they were all great. The potato skins were perfectly cooked and came with ranch. The nachos were super tasty and filling. They were loaded with so many yummy ingredients. As well, we ordered the Bavarian pretzels with cheese to dip which we also used as queso for the nachos! The pretzels were perfectly warm and soft. We were basically the only people in the restaurant when we went. The atmosphere was super cozy and homey. Can’t wait to go back! We only had good things to say!

Pretty sure the $8 clam chowder was Progresso. Also pretty sure my burger was supposed to come with more toppings than it did. Really over-priced for something I could have made better at home.

Martha's Dandee Creme in Queensbury, NY is a popular dessert destination known for its generous servings of delicious ice cream. The place offers a wide variety of flavors, from classic favorites to creative seasonal options. Despite the long lines, the friendly and efficient servers make the experience worthwhile. The soft serve ice cream is particularly praised for its quality and reasonable prices.
You know it’s a good spot when you visit twice in one day! Martha’s was an amazing find. We stopped by for lunch and had the cheeseburger, fries, and chicken sandwich—everything was super tasty. The cheese fries came in a generous portion, so come hungry! Both the burger and sandwich hit the spot perfectly. Later that evening, we came back for ice cream—and that was truly the highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the soft serve absolutely lives up to the hype. Even on a rainy Saturday in April, there was a line, which says a lot. Highly recommend anything on the menu, and don’t be shy to ask the staff for their personal favorites. We’ll definitely be back!

My first visit to this place turned out to be memorable!! The soft serve here tastes amazing. The flavors are nice and subtle, not too strong . Just the way I like it!! The serving is big which I find as a good thing. People stand in big lines to order the ice cream which tells about this place and their quality. Aside from ice cream they have burgers, fries and other stuffs which I haven’t tried. There is a big picnic table right beside shop where you can sit down and enjoy the food. I would definitely visit this place on my next visit to Lake George!!

So far, this is the BEST soft ice cream of my life. I've never tried such an amazing soft serve before. It was PERFECT both texture and flavor wise. Honestly, I can't wait to go back and try more flavors, and I would highly HIGHLY recommend this spot. For me, this ice cream shop is absolutely the winner. 🏆

My whole family loves Martha's. They have many options of ice cream so you don't get sick of the same thing over and over . They switch the flavors everyday. They have a limited menu for food but it's all good. Plenty of parking . The lines can look crazy but they go by fast ! Today we didn't have to wait in line for food but for ice cream less than a five minute wait ! Nice to sit and eat and watch the great escape when they are open .

I have always been extremely impressed with both the quality and especially the portion sizes at Martha's, as we try to come here a handful of times during the summer. In the past I've always gotten a medium ice cream in a dish, And the serving size has been impressive to say the least. I got one of their sundaes for the first time ever, and was actually disappointed by how average the portion size was, especially considering it was several dollars more than their medium ice cream! Two small sundaes was nearly $18.50, and they were no bigger than my local ice cream stand that sells their small Sunday for $4! (Shout out Uncle Sankies!!!) I will still always recommend Martha's to friends who are traveling through Lake George, but would only recommend getting their ice cream in a dish/ cone, as their sundaes are significantly overpriced in comparison! Either the portion needs to be increased, or the price needs to be lowered significantly. ***I included a picture of the local ice cream stand I was referring to, where their Sundaes are literally less than half of the price to what I paid at Martha's, and are identical size was! I am also including a picture of Martha's medium ice cream in a dish to show that you receive well over 2x the amount of ice cream for several dollars less then their sundaes***

You can’t find anything like this anywhere. Amazing customer service, huge portion, friendly staff. I don’t live in Lake George but anytime I go, this is my first choice for ice cream & shakes. They have plenty of ice cream options. There products are Not too sweet which is the best thing. Suggestions, always buy the kiddie size first to try because kiddie size is a lot for one person. Highly recommended !!

If you're ever in Lake George this is a must! On top of their delicious soft serve ice cream and their many flavors to choose from, they also serve food! I've actually never really gotten anything other than the fried pickles which were delicious. This place is always busy. I always say go early get a parking spot and stay for a while. It's right across the street from great escape. Something you should always try is the strawberry and the cheesecake together is completely and utterly delicious!
Kelleah M — Google review
The food saved the review! Originally admittedly, I was quite upset at the flavor selection. They cycle through flavors. It sounds every three days. Although they claimed to have 37 flavors, each day they only have about a third of those. So all the flavors that I wanted were not available. But, as many other locations have started to do. They did have a cookie sandwich option available with all the flavors. Save the day! I also was able to get a side topping that I was able to roll the sandwich in which is a good idea if you want to add sprinkles or Oreos to your ice cream. But as I mentioned, the real hero of the day was the food! They have burgers and fries, along with some other interesting selections. Mostly chicken tenders, but in a few other options. Really good fries. I would say on the quality of five guys. And the burger, which, if you are not too hungry, you can get a kids meal, and it’s only eight dollars! The ice cream itself was also reasonably priced. The ice cream serving is huge! But there is a lot of people to come here. Perhaps from Six Flags? Perhaps Just visiting tourists that come here yearly. There is ample parking in the back of the structure as well as to the side. Don’t just fight for parking as soon as you enter the parking lot. Multiple lines that move pretty quickly. Very nice hosts! There is also a large picnic table area on the side of the building where you can find a place to eat.

Nestled in Queensbury, New York, the Lake George Baking Company is a delightful haven for pastry lovers. Owned by Carl and Debbie Alberino, who previously ran the renowned Vanilla Bean Baking Co., this charming bakery offers an array of delectable treats. From their famous Fudge Fancy cookies to mouthwatering pastries, muffins, and cinnamon rolls, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth.
Wonderful bakery in hot of Lake George area, people are super nice. It’s all freshly baked. Fast selling so what is pick might be just baked or prepared. They had donuts, eclairs, cupcakes and sweets puffs. Took the custard filled eclairs best eclairs I’ve had in a while not over sweet and perfectly smooth. The chocolate cake was nice and moist with even filling in each layer. Worth a visit if you are around.

Lake George Baking Co. Absolutely loved this spot! We got five items for just over $13—can’t beat that for a quality sweet treat. The staff were incredibly friendly, greeting us with smiles on a Saturday morning. We tried the cinnamon twist, apple turnover, éclair, mini cannoli, and the apple cinnamon donut (which was our favorite). Everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

My husband ordered a half sheet red velvet cake for a birthday party. Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, but it was THE BEST red velvet cake I've ever had. Perfect in every way. The cream cheese frosting was not overly sweetened, but was nice and tangy. The cake itself was super moist. I really think it was worth every cent we spent on it. I usually make the cakes for our family but I think I can fully retire now and just order from Lake George Baking Co from now on lol.

I used Lake George Baking Co for my wedding cakes and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious! From the get go, the staff was so kind and helpful with the entire process. The sample cake they gave us was a decent size and free which I thought was so nice. Very professional and accommodating bakery, helped ease the stress of wedding planning! Highly recommend!!

My daughter got married in Lake George. We ordered the cake and cupcakes from Lake George Baking Co and I am so glad that we did. The cake was chocolate with chocolate, mousse filling and a buttercream icing and it was absolutely delightful. We also ordered different flavored cupcakes. We got red velvet with the cream cheese icing, vanilla cake with cookies and cream frosting and chocolate with buttercream frosting. All the guests, myself and the bride and groom were raving about how delicious everything was. I even had guests go back for seconds. Thank you to Donna who helped us with the order. My daughter and I were not in Lake George at the time of placing the order. We communicated with Donna via email and on the phone. She helped and guided us through the ordering process since we were unable to be there in person. If you are getting married in Lake, George or having any event in the Lake George area that requires a cake or cupcakes I would definitely recommend the Lake George Baking Company.

A&W Restaurant is a fast-food chain known for its root beer, burgers, chicken, and fries. The restaurant was recently sold for over $600,000 to a new owner named Hao Yang. With nostalgic locations in the Adirondacks, including Lake George, visitors can enjoy classic ice cream and their famous A&W Root Beer Float. Customers praise the helpful staff and classic A&W ambiance.
All American food with the size to fill up your empty stomach! The burgers are good and so is the root beer float. Like a classic. American diner vibes.
James O — Google review
My father grew up going to these restaurants and introduced us to them when we were kids. Last year, on vacation, we went hoping to enjoy it again. Let's just say the tenders tasted like they were cooked in a dishwasher and left on a warmer afterward. Service was horrible. Employees seemed irritated with customers. Seems more like the owner no longer cares about service. I'm not sure if the owner will remember my note, but Mcds was amazing!
Mike V — Google review
This was a favorite for many years. Unfortunately, it is under new ownership as of 2023 and they have changed nearly everything that was charming about this place. Staples of A&W restaurants across the country include service at your car with trays that hook onto your windows, root beer in frosted mugs, and, at this location in particular, an extensive soft serve ice cream menu. I believe they had over 60 flavors of soft serve ice cream available. New ownership has removed all of that. Now, you walk up to a window and order you food, walk up to another window and pick up your food, and sit at some tables behind the restaurant to eat. For ice cream, you have some pretty basic selections that are not nearly as good as what used to be. This place was the same since 1959, and they have removed pretty much everything that made it unique. You might as well go eat anywhere else you can get a burger.
John R — Google review
The food and service were great! Loved this spot. We felt like the prices were a little high though. But the friendliness of the staff and the freshness of the food is something that would make us come back.
John R — Google review
Unfortunately this place used to be awesome, but evidently, it has changed ownership in the last 2 years and many things are not the same as they were. The car-hop service has been discontinued. Also, this place used to have some of the best clamp straps ever, which are no longer on the menu. They were also out of A&W Zero sugar root beer!!! Lastly, the prices have gone up considerably. sad.

This once cherished place and wonderful staff is definitely a long gone memory! Terrible now, if you don't want to have your heartbroken, because you love a and w and can't wait to have it. When you come to Lake George, definitely don't waste your time. This place is definitely under new owner that only cares about making a profit and losing the nostalgic touch of what this small little gem used to be. Number one, there's no longer a friendly staff. That's outside to greet. You take orders at your car to your car. There is still outdoor seating, however, the food is not the same anymore. The chili does not taste the same anymore. Almost like it's been watered down. We ordered a kids cheeseburger with no pickles. They put pickles on it and also forgot the cheese, so when we asked to have it, we made, they took it and gave it back within like three minutes. We notice all they did was swipe off the pickle off the burger and gave it right back still with no cheese. And they had attitudes about it, the root bear flow The one thing that they're supposed to be famous for it also was horrible. It was full of just root beer that is flat and maybe one small scoop of ice cream, just not the same. And I don't know why they weren't giving out receipts to anybody. So we had to ask for that too. So unfortunately, one of my small little memories of coming up every year and being excited to have an a&w root beer.Is completely gone. So please, anyone who used to love this place.Don't waste your time anymore.
Michelle U — Google review
The food came out so fast and was very good. My float erupted all over me once I picked it up and the person working the window did not help or offer a replacement. However, the cook from the back saw, came out, and handed me a stack of napkins. It was much appreciated! Easy place for kids to sit and eat. Will be back!
Felicia H — Google review
For fast food, the burger and onion rings were pretty good. Nothing to really write home about, but they did the job. The root beer however, tasted like it had soap in it. Perhaps it was left behind after cleaning? Anyway, your restaurant is famous for the root beer. It needs to be good.

If you're looking for a refreshing treat on a hot day, Polish Water Ice is the perfect stop! This delightful counter-serve chain offers an impressive variety of flavors that are lighter and more refreshing than traditional ice cream. During my recent trip to Lake George, I stumbled upon this gem while shopping in the heat. A friendly staff member was handing out samples, and I couldn't resist trying it—I'm so glad I did! The mango flavor was particularly delicious.
Best ice I've ever had. Lighter than the traditional but delish. Owner super nice. Kids work weekends. Don't miss this - half blk off the main drag. Best ice and ice cream in town!

Decided to try some ice cream to save time rather than driving to Martha's. Pretty big mistake. The soft serve chocolate literally had no flavor. It tasted like it was made with water and as cheaply as possible. I regret instantly buying the ice cream. I should have just went to Martha's. Maybe one of the other places one the area would be better. The inside of the place was also hotter than outside. I feel bad for the workers.

Not worth the price. And Matthew needs training on how to conduct himself in a professional manner when customers are in the business. Also the ice-cream cup I ordered looked horrible..
D S — Google review
Ice cream is good but service was dreadful. Young girl w no sense of customer service dropped a lot of crumbled Oreos on my son while handing my husband his ice cream cone. She barely said sorry and continued to laugh. Then the young girls continued to make faces of frustration and disdain at each other while my in laws, who are French, decided and tried to express what they wanted. For a downtown area who seemingly relies on tourists, they were all very rude. Maybe they are cranky because the shop has no air conditioning and is unbearably hot. Perhaps the no air conditioning is a marketing strategy to keep patrons from sitting and enjoying their over priced scoops.

Just ate a soft serve waffle cone. I waited all day to treat myself to an ice cream cone in Lake George. It was grainy and watery and I was so disappointed. The waffle cone was chewy as well. ☹️ Place looked great from the outside and even on the inside. But ice cream definitely was a disappointment.
Debbie H — Google review
I have never been in an ice cream parlor in the summer that is hotter inside than outside. The toppings were melting due to the lack of air conditioning, the place smells like the sewer is backing up, the floors were filthy but there were 4 people working there. What is happening to Lake George? I would be embarrassed if that was my business.

The ice cream was really good. The butter pecan was amazing and the price was just right. However the hours of operation are from 3-9 and we were the last ones in line. They gave us a card and we had to tell everyone that came after us we were the last customers. Maybe they should find another way to end the line and not have the customers work. We did get an employee discount at the end. Overall the ice cream was great and I would go back. They should stay open past nine. There were so many people who were shocked at the early closing time.

Experience an exciting game followed by a delightful indulgence at Adirondack Ice Cream. After engaging in a round, revel in a delectable dessert (with the loser being responsible for purchasing the ice cream). Their extensive menu boasts an impressive selection of 21 varieties of soft serve flavors, accompanied by 16 options of hard ice cream. Additionally, you can savor sundaes, shakes, flurries, floats, and even ice cream sodas.
The people that say they had bad service from Adirondack ice cream. Should have their heads examined. Why? It's because the service here is beyond great.

I got 2 scoops and the portions were big enough. The cheesecake strawberry was okay. The other flavor I got was the one with chunky chocolate chips. It wasn't that good. I was expecting better. The soft ice cream machine wasn't working.
Sandra K — Google review
We wanderered in at midday, after lunch. While admiring the extensive menu, we were told there was no frozen custard today. Ok, cool. We ordered three cones from the Perry's hard ice cream menu. None of them were available. Our second choices weren't available. To be clear, that's /six/ different listed flavors that they were out of, plus the vanilla and chocolate custard. We finally hit upon two that they did have, and one of us just gave up altogether. We should have just left, honestly. Crowded, dirty little shop.
Dawn M — Google review
Charged me $20 for 1 scoop each + 1 stale sugar cone for me and my wife. Looked at the receipt and was charged for an addition soda I never ordered. Awful experience.
Brandon H — Google review
worked here and the owners do not pay minimum wage to J1 students and it’s incredibly dirty and stinky in there
Kassady M — Google review
I paid 16 dollars for two pints of ice cream from central market. At 8 dollars a piece, I expected this to be the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It was disgusting. The mint tasted like mouthwash and had the consistency of chalk. I had no idea you could make ice cream that bad.
J B — Google review
I never knew an ice cream store could be bad. My friend tried to order a coffee ice cream and the owner brought out an uncovered small container from the back. It was soupy and had shards of ice in it. He scooped a tiny amount into a dish. It was texturally nothing like ice cream. We said we didn’t want it, but he tried to convince us it was “good like a milkshake”. We refused. I don’t think the ice cream is maintained at adequately cold temperatures and however that little container of coffee ice cream was stored had no lid.
Emily S — Google review
Over priced. Paid $15.80 for 2 ice creams (1 scoop) served in a plastic lid...and a water and Snapple. Highly DO NOT recommend. Not a large variety of flavors. No soft serve or hot fudge either..........

The Bowl Boss, a health food restaurant in the village, offers a delightful vegan-friendly acai bowl that serves as an excellent alternative to sugary treats like ice cream and shaved ice. The knowledgeable and passionate staff at Bowl Boss strive to have a positive impact on the community by promoting plant-based options such as nitro brewed coffee and organic tea. Despite potential high sugar content in acai bowls, they remain an outstanding choice compared to most other food options available in the area, particularly on hot days.
I was very excited when I discovered this great new addition to the Lake George Village, its about time!! I love that they use all fresh fruits in the mixture & toppings as well. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. This place is very clean and pleasing to the eye. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I will be returning for more picture perfect açai bowls!!

These bowls taste like the back of my fridge. Overpriced, and Incredibly rude employees. I could get a huge (actually smooth and good) açaí bowl at Kelly’s Roots in Glens falls for the same price. Just another money hole with wealthy owners.

Bland smoothies, freezer burnt fruits, incredibly small space that they clutter with chairs when it's literally lake George, everyone is going to take these to go... Not to mention this was more expensive than buying the ingredients to make these myself. Cost me 12 dollars to eat it once but it'll cost me the same to make it 12 times with my own blender. Incredibly rude staff, not attentive or careful. All around this business is trying, but totally failing. Nice try with the attractive advertising but that won't make your customers dedicated. Not worth your time or money!

The classic açaí bowl was perfect for my vegan lifestyle. I was so happy to find a healthy alternative to all the ice cream and shaved ice in the village. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They clearly want to make a positive impact in the village by promoting a plant-based lifestyle, including nitro brewed coffee and organic tea. While açaí bowls can be high in sugar, it is a far superior choice than almost all the food in the village...especially on a hot, hot day! I highly recommend this wonderful superfood to all who visit lake George!
