Best new place in town with excellent choice of fresh made food. Very nice service and atmosphere. Inside and outside seats. Clean 🚻 and wash basins. 👌 highly recommended. Fasting buffet on Wednesday and Friday 🤩. Reasonable prices 🤑🤑.

I have always found this place to have a great menu and argued with many before I even tasted it that it maybe the best restaurant in the city. Many said that it wasn't as great in food flavors and service as it is written in the menu. My brother wanted to have a healthy breakfast meal and recommended this place. I called the place right away and made a reservation and asked until what time they serve breakfast and considering it was Saturday, they said until about 3pm. When we got there, we parked on the street as there wasn't any parking space for the place located in the busy area of Signal area on the other side of Hayahulet. No one asked if we had reservation and sat and continued to order our meal. We order Beef Fillet, Grilled Chicken Breast, French Toast and Seafood Omelette. Out waitress brought us a 'Bruschetta' with tomatoes and parmesan cheese. It was a very nice touch and complimentary. Our lunch / brunch arrived and the Seafood Omelette was more than I expected. It was very hot, delicious, perfect portion and plenty of seafood (both garnished and sauteed with). It was one of the best dishes I have ever had and priced only at 900 birr. With many new restaurants opening in Addis Ababa like Marcus Addis and C-Prem, Five Loaves seems to have the capablility to compete with those restaurants although it lacks... 1. During the middle of of our lunch / brunch service, the staff that is supposedly to start work at around noon just stormed in through the front door and at that with some staff carrying their aprons in their hands and greeting one another in the middle of the floor and asking the earlier staff the statuses of the morning service. 2. Some great painings / photos are placed on the walls throughout the restaurant, but seem to be dirty, old and not aligned. 3. Shouldn't you have a reception at the door? But my overall experience at this place was beyond my expectation. It was amazing. I can not wait to return and try other dishes I read in the menu like Roasted Whole Chicken and Chicken Parmesan.

Favorite flavors: cookie dough and chocolate, with caramel syrup and a brownie—absolute perfection! I've been visiting Embwa almost every week for the past few years, and I still remember the first time I tried their ice cream. I couldn’t believe something so delicious was only 60 bucks! At this point, I think it’s safe to say I’m addicted—it’s my guilty pleasure. Consider yourself warned: visit Embwa at your own risk, because once you try it, there’s no turning back!

Absolutely delicious. We ordered Sundae and it was absurdly divine. The staff were friendly. Its a great place to just sit with friends, chill and enjoy their tasty ice creams

Latika Bakery is a family bakery and cafe. One thing Latika is known is for It’s cleanest and delicious cakes and verities of bread.

The Atlas branch is a beautiful and spacious café, and I truly enjoyed my cappuccino. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service experience. The bill was brought to me just two minutes after my drink was served, without asking if I needed anything else. I had actually mentioned to the waiter that I would like to pick up some bread from the bakery before closing the bill. I believe it would enhance the customer experience if staff could confirm with guests before finalizing the bill.

This is handsdown the best place for meat lovers. The raw meat is amazing. The Alfuna (or Kunsepagna) is exceptional. If you dont like raw meat, there are plenty of options. I personally love the Bombodino Tibs (soft meat and well seasoned). For drinks, the Tej here is also great. The service and the atmosphere is very nice. Top top place.

Basil restaurant is a very nice place located around Karl square In front of fikre they have a calm and a very good spot with nice view. And I really recommend the chicken cream soup it’s very delicious

One of the best bakeries in Addis Ababa. And they have another branch in Lebu, by the varnero roundabout. The bread and the pastries are always so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend it! 🤗

I have been to a lot of gelato shops in Addis, but so far I have never come across one that is as good as Tutto Gelato. This is, quite simply, the best gelato in town. I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of hard work that goes into maintaining their track record, but they make it seem so effortless. The variety of flavours, the consistent quality, the serving, the staff and the atmosphere are all top notch. I have never been disappointed with any flavour I have tried and I highly recommend them to anyone who would like some deliciously cold gelato.

A ferenji friend told me about the Bacio near ADOT in Bisrate Gebriel. I had never been to any of the other locations, so this was my first experience. I was pleasantly surprised. The selection of flavors was very appealing. There was Italian cookie, Snickers, mocha, cheese & berries, salted caramel, etc. I tasted a few of them and made a mental list of which ones I wanted to order on successive visits. My choice was cheese & berries on a waffle cone. The lady who served the ice cream is in the right role. She was friendly, patient, and aware of the popular flavors. Good service makes ice cream taste even better. Back to my friend. He told me Bacio had the best ice cream in Addis. I can understand why he made that claim.
