The menu offers an impressive variety of food and dessert options, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The staff here really made the experience special. They were so friendly and attentive. The portions are incredibly generous too, so I definitely left feeling satisfied and well fed. The location is perfect, situated right in the center of town where it's easy to find and access. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this place delivers on all fronts.

Lovely little cafe with really quality hearty meals! We were so happy to find this place so conveniently located in our visit to Byron bay. They have a nice variety of dishes and desserts which is so refreshing after passing the same types of food repeated again and again. The staff is so helpful and kind, prices are so reasonable and portions are a nice size. Really recommend to anyone in the area. Parking is conveniently located in the back. This vegan cafe was amazing, and we got there just before they closed! We ordered the medium plate, and it was the perfect portion size, healthy and delicious. We loved it so much that we went back to get takeaway for tomorrow. Highly recommend 😋

The best and healthiest vegan food of Byron Bay, ever! All dishes are very tasty without been oily. The flavours and spices make everything very delicious. Plus, the staff is beyond friendly, very helpful and accommodating and don’t rush you when choosing or next to closing. everything with a price that’s very low! definitely recommended!

It is a unforgettable dinning experience. Sitting in the sun breezy yard or indoor. Enjoy the yummy and delicious vegan food. When I asked them to help me identify onion, garlic and leek free dishes, they addressed it carefully and responsibily. I will introduce other Asian vegan to visit this place.

Stopped here to have bubble waffle because my daughter said it’s been trending and when on holiday we catch up on trending viral food!!! Was okay! We didn’t go for their fro yo which might have been the key thing to try and decided to just have the classic waffle busted with sugar. My husband said it was like sweet naan 😂 Lovely service, with a buzzing environment.

Tuesday and Wednesday arvo there’s a great deal, priced $2 per 100g! Overall all was good, though the vanilla frozen yoghurt was way too sweet, pure sugar! 😅 would deffo look into that as it’s one of the only vegan options too.. the place was nice and tidy, so we still appreciated the little shop 🙏🏽

At quite a reasonable price - $3.30 per 100g - I had the most delicious self serve açai and got to completely make my own bowl with all the toppings that were on display to choose from. The açai was amazing and I was spoilt for choice with toppings! I even popped on some vegan cookie dough which was INCREDIBLE - plus lots of fresh fruits. So easy and love the concept of being able to do it myself. There were plenty other soft serve options, other than açai too, along with an array of drinks to order. Best part is there is no waiting, as you simply take your bowl up to weigh and then pay! Highly recommend!

the flavors are good & there's plenty of toppings to choose from. good to have at the beach (as long as you don't get sand in it), and its quite refreshing, especially in the summers.

Lovely people super friendly staff, very kind and helpful. Great worth kids, love the gelato as well. Thank you being so patient with the kids, always busy but fast service. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend that you try BellaRosa Gelato will keep an eye out for other stores I may come access.

I recently visited this ice cream shop, and it’s easily one of the best dessert spots I’ve been to! The shop itself has a welcoming, cozy vibe with a wide variety of flavours, from the classics like chocolate and vanilla to more adventurous ones like honeycomb and lychee sorbet. Everything tasted super fresh and creamy. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the service, especially from a staff member named Wilf. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping customers. He offered great recommendations based on what I liked, let me sample a couple of flavours, and even managed to juggle a busy line with a smile on his face the whole time. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Wilf made the visit more than just about ice cream, it felt like catching up with a mate who knows what you like. Absolute legend. If you go, make sure to say hi to Wilf, you’ll leave with a smile and a top-notch scoop in hand. Highly recommend! 🍦👏

Late night Byron gelateria - Bella Rosa - is found in Johnson Street up near Hawkers Lane - the gelato is made fresh everyday and it’s small range of flavours excellent. We had SALTED CARAMEL PEANUt CRUNCH and vegan CIOCCOLATO - we will definitely come back for more - if a late night desert is what you are after you can add a $3 chocolate brownie to anything - it comes in a triangular wedge in a cup.

Omg the lychee gelato here is the BEST ever!! I love it so much and everyone I visit Byron I need to have it. There’s other great flavours too of course and various different cones/cup. Perfect location just down from the beach too.

Didn’t get a chance to try their ice cream but did get a smoothie. Generous portions. And you could pick unlimited amount of ingredients to mix in!

We came at 6am on Labour Day before driving back to Sydney. They already had a full display of great looking pastries and breads, so it was a hard choice. We got a normal croissant and some other pastry with sugar and cinnamon. Both great. But the coffee is the real star of the show. One of the best I’ve had in my life..

The food here was incredible! The best ham baguette, coffee, lamb pie.. omg the smoked salmon roll! They also had great carrot cake! Lovely staff, chill vibes and open till mid afternoon which was super convenient to us. Also over the road from Woolies, which was handy for grabbing all our bits for a long day of beach bumming and a coffee and breaky to go. One of my favourite spots in Byron 11/10 !!!

Dip into Dip if you fancy some French inspired breakfast, brunch or lunch. It was a recommendation from a friend whose kids go to school together locally. Was not disappointed!! It was a wet cold morning so not busy. French jazz in the background. Lovely serving staff made to feel welcome. Coffee is great. Scrambled Eggs were cooked to perfection. Halloumi was perfect with a squeeze of lemon and a dash of cracked black pepper. Smoked salmon was a perfect accompaniment. Over all great treat for a table of one. There was a table of 4 sitting over from me full of wows and delightful noises when their breakfast was served as well. Well done team. Great solo dining experience.

This French deco inspired cafe is just fabulous firstly loved the deco secondly the service was very friendly and attentive and lastly the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the brushetta with crispy bacon on the side we also ordered from the specials board. Give this cafe a go when visiting Byron Bay !

This is a nice breakfast place with great coffee. I am probably slightly bias in my enjoyment as I love eggs Benny, as such I liked seeing the 5 or so different options of this dish on the menu! They had a few different menu items to cater for the majority also, which by the looks of what others had seemed similar quality! The coffee was great, quite strong, and well flavoured. There was indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of it. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would certainly appreciate a visit!

I recently went back to this iconic establishment during one of its busiest holiday periods in Byron Bay. Dip Cafe is a long-standing breakfast and lunch cafe which has stood the test of time, and still exemplifies fresh innovative quality food and great service in Byron Bay. The menu of food and drinks is broad and caters for everyone. Always great food, super friendly service , and the ambience never disappoints. Bravo DIP

My husband found this place after all the reviews here and I had to put my own one down too 😍 We’re a Messina family, and this was great gelato! A bit of a wait for a weekday with only one person serving but she was giving everyone their time and not rushing to decide on the flavours. Flavour testing was generous along with scoop sizes. I wouldn’t say their flavours were extraordinarily different, but every bite had texture versus many gelato places where the top of the scoop has some mix in and that’s it. I got sticky date and hokey pokey. And the Hokey Pokey was an excellent surprise. Every bite had honeycomb. This was a wild card for me cos I ended up getting it without testing it. The fam had king caramel, lemon cheesecake, violet crumble - all great flavours too.

Super cute little dessert gelato place. So many flavours, standard crowd pleasers as well as some unique flavours. We Had: - Mint Chocolate - Lemon Cheese Cake - Caramel Cheese Cake - Chocolate - Pistachio The cone is pretty good too, not too sugary and not too thick or thin. Pretty generous scoop too, definitely a no brainier. Will be back again, thank you!

Well, this place is certainly near the top of the list as far as ice-creameries go! A great selection which changes often. The flavours are truly unique. Samples include mango/macadamia, Nutella/peanut butter, lemon cheesecake to name a few. Whatever the flavour, they have pieces of the flavour (ie: real strawberries etc) on/in the ice cream. The staff have always being friendly. I almost have shares in other place!

Could be the best ice cream in the world but I wouldn’t know. After waiting 15 minutes while the girl behind the counter stood there on the phone we left. It was on 23 June at around 2.30pm.

This little deli in Byron Bay is an absolute gem! The cheese and charcuterie board was out of this world—every bite was a treat, with perfectly curated meats and cheeses that felt like a mini tour of gourmet heaven. And the coffee? Easily some of the best I've had in a long time. You can tell they care about quality and flavor in everything they do. The relaxed vibe and friendly service made it even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I can't rate the food because the 2 staff working completely ignored me. The barrista had his back to me for a full minute as I stood at the counter waiting to order. The other staff member was cleaning near the back. Neither acknowledged my existence, despite the fact there was only one other customer outside.

Loved the new Acai bowls they've started doing for 10 dollars! The cheapest in town and really tasty. Everyone's really friendly and love the location away from the madness of town centre

Great little deli....soon to be world famous. With the new owners (Litsa (food techie) & Don) this place is a success story in the making, having launched their own brand "finest quality everyday" brand "Byron Bay Deli". They currently have their own ice-cream, olive oil, organic aged balsamic vinegar, Tasmanian sea salt flakes, local chocolate bombs, locally roasted organic expresso blend, UNIQUE: ice-cream burger! Brioche (sweet bun) with Nutella and their own local ice-cream, toasted in their special machine. Hot on the outside, cold on the inside!

The worst Chai tea. The worst iced coffee. The most sad and sorry looking woman running the place. She could barely be bothered to serve us. Seriously, skip this spot for beverages. There are plenty of other places to choose from.

Amazing work. I needed a quick, last minute birthday present for my friend and I rang them in the morning asking for a couple of their graze platters. Within a couple of hours, my friend had 2 amazing platters on his doorstep!! Unbelievable. They told me the food was absolutely delicious and they enjoyed it immensely. We’ve been here at 6th of October. My partner and I had a high expectations due to all the good reviews in google maps. We ordered pistachio, double chocolate, tomato cheese and salted almond. Unfortunately, none of the croissant pleased us. All were a bit doughy and really chewy. I felt like I am having a loaf of bread. The amount of chocolate in double chocolate is less than normal one. I am giving three starts just because I am familiar with all the hard work behind every small businesses and their affordable prices. However, I don’t think so I will have again.

Absolutely loved the muffins and shakes! The fresh aroma of muffins baking adds a warm and inviting touch to the atmosphere. A perfect spot for a delicious treat!

Ahhhh sooo good! The pastry was so crispy and flakey. Tried the miso mushroom and bacon carbonara. That crunch when you bite down on the layers as it falls apart *chefs kiss*. The coffee was perfect so we had to get the brioche bun filled with custard. Also fantastic. The staff was super friendly even when I sideled up to someone to ask a question about ingredients (I know, I'm that guy). They even followed up to check on us. I'd give more stars if I could!

The place is in a very quiet location, and everything is baked and made on-site. They had sweet and savory options, as well as bread. However, I was looking for their donuts and special treats, but they only make them on weekends! It was a bit disappointing—hopefully, they’ll offer them every day in the future. Still, everyone was very kind!

TLDR: GET THE ALMOND CROISSANT IT’S RIDICULOUSLY GOOD AND THE STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY LOVELY i normally look for 5 star places to go to exclusively - but i’m so glad i gave this one a go on one hand, the staff are incredibly lovely: i mucked up one time by not asking for honey and blamed the barista, only to find out that i, in fact, forgot to ask for it. i felt so bad, but not only were they straight onto fixing up the honey situation - they also made a conscious effort to care for my feelings 😂 i found that hilarious and beautiful, and then once i actually tried my almond croissant and coffee - i was absolutely blown away. perfectly textured, warm pastry and deliciously well-curated coffee 4.5 stars doesn’t do it justice imo 🤷🏽‍♀️

To me it’s just alright croissant with variety of choices. No doubt the croissant were good but not the rest. Went back twice just because missus likes croissant and this is the only place so far she can get a decent one in Byron. I had way better one in Sydney but hey, I know it can’t be compared for this is Byron.

We initially went to the cookie factory by mistake. One of the staff there was very kind and helpfully directed us to the cookie shop! However, the customer service provided by the middle-aged woman working at the cookie shop was terrible. It was the worst experience we had in Byron Bay. We had forgotten to buy some cookies and returned to the store, where I was the only customer, yet she let out a loud sigh. When I politely asked for a bag, she sighed again, clearly and exaggeratedly… The staff at the factory were very lovely, but the shop assistant is certainly not contributing to sales. As mentioned in other reviews, her attitude discourages customers from making purchases.

As soon as I walked in the lady at the counter let out a huge sigh and said muttered something along the lines of “you’ve got to be kidding me”. I was the only one in the shop and when I approached the counter with the items I wanted to buy, she shook her head. Couldn’t get out of there soon enough. What a horrible experience. And after reading the reviews, it seems I’m not the first to complain about the service, what’s going on?!

Great range of flavours and they also offer value packs where you can pick and choose different products. They also have a variety of gluten free options. Definitely a must visit place for people that have sweet cravings. Plenty of parking spots outside of the store.

We’ve travelled from Port Douglas, around the coast to Adelaide and up to Alice Springs and in our opinion this place produces the best Pies in Australia. Crispy pastry, with a fully filled with a succulent filling. We had the chunky beef pie and the lamb with rosemary. Can’t be beaten. Congratulations guys 👏

Stop in after a drop off. I can say there chicken and salad rolls are filling, great price. Offside had a pie, and he enjoy every last bite. Next time I drive into Byron Bay, this will be the spot for lunch.

I’m sure the baked good are nice and I haven’t tried the coffee but massive let down on the pre made chicken n bacon roll thing, dry and flavourless, no salt or pepper or anything, also when you toast rocket it ruins it. No smile or positive demeanour from the staff either.

This was a great stop. Based on the amount of people that came while we ate breakfast this is clearly a local favourite too. The staff are friendly and quick. Harriet was a delight. Great range. Lots of Vegan options too if your looking for it. Quiches were really nice. Husband had Beef, bacon and cheese pie - it was lovely, nice pastry, good size. Coffee was amazing and a local bean too. Chocolate Croissant was amazing, not just chocolate shoved in the middle but multi layered to a light and fluffy perfection. The carrot cake was divine, dense, moist and good proportions of icing to cake.

I’d give it 3 out of 5 — mainly for the atmosphere; otherwise, it would’ve been lower. We ordered coffee, almond croissants, banana bread, and brownies. The almond croissant was okay — if Lune is a 100, this would probably be a 50. Unfortunately, the banana bread and brownies were a miss; none of the five of us could finish them, and we ended up throwing them out. Coffee was just okay. Nice vibe overall, but definitely more for the atmosphere than the food.

The staff here are lovely and welcoming, but there’s one older woman who works as a barista who has been consistently rude every time we’ve visited. She never greets us with a smile and comes across as unwelcoming whenever you ask for something. On my last visit, I went to collect a coffee because I thought I heard my name called, and her response was so rude and dismissive that I felt like I was in trouble.

The first thing I do when I visit Byron Bay is enjoy one of these crepes! It’s always interesting to watch the team expertly cook them in front of you while you wait. A little difficult to eat out of the cardboard cone; be careful of the icing sugar! Different team members are more / less liberal with the toppings; it’s a bit hit and miss how much of everything you will get. Despite this I’ve never had one I didn’t enjoy!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I go very often, however I am removing a star as there is only ever 1 staff member. Whoever the owner is, please put 2 staff on, both to reduce waiting times for customers but mostly to decrease staff stress. I feel so bad for them, as they are always run off of their feet. They handle the stress well, but everyone’s experience could be improved with an additional member rostered. The owner can certainly afford it as this place is always packed. However, great crepes!

Unbelievable gluten-free vegan crepes 😍 the texture was amazing and was the perfect dessert to being outside on a cold night! I had the Banana Man (generous amounts of melty dark choc and banana + added cinnamon).

I got food poisoning from this place, twice! I wasn’t sure where it was from at first, but now I know. I had the hot chocolate and I had the crepe. Do note that they give people free things for a good review so the high ratings don’t mean much. Even a local told me this place was dirty, a little too late but now I’ve labeled this place as “NEVER AGAIN”.

I had high hopes for an amazing experience, but it wasn’t to be found here. I had the lemon tart which cost $7 and was small. I don’t mind small if it’s out of this world, but it was not fresh (possibly a day or more old). Soft pastry and the filling wasn’t to my taste. I see a lot of other reviewers have had a better experience than I did, so I will try another item on another occasion. I didn’t have any beverages, so cannot comment.

Only place about for food after 12 at night. Open 23 hours! Proper fancied a quiche after the night out and it definitely delivered. Accompanied with a slaggy little sausage roll can’t knock it.

Had the Mexican Chilli Beef Pie and also the Beef and Jalapeno Sausage Roll, absolutely amazing. Went to drop off a friend and was hungry, so glad I stopped, freshly prepared and perfect balance of flavours, prices were really good as well, the lady that served me was warm and welcoming, will definitely go there again when I am down that way. Was craving a sweet treat at midnight and found this little bakery and oh how glad I am that I did, I got an apple pie cupcake and vanilla slice and was the best bakery treats I’ve ever eaten will raving about this place for so many years to come, everything was so incredibly perfect. Couldn’t recommend it enough, the price was amazing for the size of each item.

We were told it would be the best gelato we ever had. That claim wasn't far off. The consistency was so luxurious and creamy and the flavour combos were perfectly balanced. Tried the cherry marscapone, the maple pecan ricotta pear and the coffee hazelnut. Each flavour married perfectly and it did not disappoint. Grab a scoop next time you're in town.

Stumbling upon Frankie’s gelato on the walk back from the beach. I went in firstly because the place looked very clean and the salesperson was very nice. Their ice cream is amazing, totally worth the price! Really high quality, I got pistachio and the flavour was natural and intense, with whole pistachios in it! I also tried Macadamia, Maccha and Peruvian chocolate, couldn’t get enough of it! Too delicious!

Beautiful gelato at this location. You can tell it is authentic based on how they store the ice cream into metal tubs. The flavours are really good, they taste exactly like the thing they advertise. It's also packed with too much extra sweeteners or sugar. More natural and balanced.

Artisan ice cream with amazing flavours We came here the first time because it’s the best rated gelato outlet in Byron Bay and after our visit we could see why! The gelato was rich, smooth and creamy and the flavours were amazing. The Peruvian chocolate was lovely but the pistachio was outstanding – intense pistachio flavour, rich, creamy and full of roasted pistachio pieces. We liked it so much that we came back the next day! We tried the hazelnut and the maple, pecan, ricotta and pear which were also delicious – but pistachio remains my favourite! This is small batch artisan production at its very best.
