Restaurant
Blackbird Makati is an elegant art deco restaurant located in the former Nielsons Tower in Makati. The restaurant offers a sophisticated dining experience with its stylish interior featuring French windows, wrought iron-black and white colors, and Prussian blue chairs. It is a popular spot for romantic dates, anniversary dinners, family celebrations, and special occasions.
I had an incredible dining experience! The beetroot salad was amazing—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The beef short ribs were unbelievably tender and delicious. Every dish, from the crispy squash flowers to the tenderloin and steak frites, was top-notch. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back again for sure!

We went here for a special occasion and here’s our experience. The ambiance at this restaurant is one of its strongest points, dim lighting and cozy atmosphere, it sets the perfect mood for a romantic dinner date or a quiet evening out. Plus, the place is easy to reach, just in front of peninsula. The dining tables are placed quite close to one another, making the space feel a bit cramped, not ideal if you're looking for a more private or relaxed dining experience. As for the food, the experience was mixed. The appetizers - lamb kofta and mushroom with panini were divine. Unfortunately, the mains - SR wagyu steak and pork chop didn’t follow through. Both meat dishes we tried were tough, lacked the tenderness you’d expect as well as its seasoning given their price point. But, the sides: fries and mashed potatoes were well seasoned. We raised it to their staff and they shared with us that they will work it out with their supplier. Overall the quality of the 2 main dish didn’t compensate its price. The restaurant has its own parking, probably can fit around 6-8 cars. Paid parking is also available just beside the restaurant. The restroom is spacious, has high ceiling, mirrored walls which gave a clean and modern feel.

First time trying this fine dining restaurant and its class is worthwhile. Had the reservation done 2 weeks beforehand and went there on the date. The service was very good and the food was great! Adding their menu as of September 2025. Thank you for the great experience!
Mirza A — Google review
I’ve probably dined at this restaurant more than six times now, and each visit has left me hoping for better—but sadly, the food just isn’t improving. During my most recent visit, I ordered their bestselling and popular dishes: steak, salmon, and most of their appetizers. Unfortunately, none of them felt worth the price tag. The steak was chewy, the fries weren’t good, and the salmon had a noticeable fishy taste. Im also quite disappointed that they don’t even have a complimentary dessert for celebrations. I was hoping for a redemption at the end of my meal, but it was just loads of ice cream, caramel sauce, and popcorn. I really wanted to like their food because their ambiance is worth coming back to. It is absolutely beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated, and I wouldve loved to go here more often. But the food just doesn’t deliver, and I dont understand why. This is a popular place where notable people usually go. You’d expect that they’d have elevated their food by now.

We had a fantastic time at Blackbird in Makati! The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. The tuna and seabass were absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The burger was also outstanding, juicy and well-seasoned. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Overall, a great place for a nice meal in the heart of Manila. Highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates great food and top-notch service!

The I Love Aussie Lamb Caravan’s 3rd stop at Blackbird at the Nielson Tower was such a memorable dining experience. I loved how Australian lamb was elevated into dishes that beautifully balance classic and modern flavors every bite felt both comforting and exciting. 🐑✨ 🍽️ Highlight Menu: • Lamb Koftas with Roast Pepper, Walnut and Pomegranate Molasses • Mussaman Lamb Shank with Pineapple Cucumber Relish and Jasmine Rice Both dishes were packed with flavor, and you could really taste the premium quality of the lamb. Truly a feast worth remembering! 👌🏻
Riza A — Google review
My first time here at Blackbird at the Nielson Tower to try their Aussie Lamb dishes: Lamb Koftas—with Roast Pepper, Walnut and Pomegranate Mollases and their Mussaman Lamb Shank—with Pineapple Cucumber Relish and Jasmine Rice. Food is great and serving is fast! Love their historic approach as this fine dining restaurant used to be a local airport passenger terminal in the 30s. Staff were all nice and approachable. Plus, their modern interior is superb!

Always Fun The Big 3: Food: always consistently tasty, though they have NO bread for the soup (can you imagine?); drinks orders came with food which made our "round of drinks" a loss; menu needs more vegetarian options (even the side dishes come with shrimp paste or pork sauce); pizza was wonderful and others loved their steak and pasta; lamb pasta was overcooked and not al dente; stuffed zucchini flowers could not be done without the bacon; incredible desserts of HaloHalo Eton Mess Pavlova Mess and also the Baked Alaska (unfortunately not flamed at the table) Service: spotty; Miguel introduce himself as our server and never came again; Herminio was at the bar (who's the BEST) but went on break when we finally got to order our "round of drinks"; lots of lag between courses and even between those served for the same course; we were constantly raising our hands for service though the outside tables area for the pouring rain was hardly occupied Ambience: nonstop outside rain when we were told (with 3 days advance ressie) that there was no space inside but from start to finish and even when we left after 9PM there were still ample empty dead tables inside yet they made us sit out in the rain for our 7 top table. Shame! No music at all; lovely flowers but they're plastic Special Shout Out to Herminio who is the reason to come here: he should manage the place and it would definitely return to its former days of well-run timed service.

Cafe
Filling Station Bar And Cafe is a quirky American-themed diner located in Makati's red light district, just a few blocks away from Abraham Manila. The restaurant is adorned with 1950s memorabilia and life-size superhero statues, creating a unique and nostalgic atmosphere. It offers a menu of hearty dishes, including typical diner fare and traditional Filipino meals that are popular among foreign travelers.
Pricey but absolutely worth the visit. The customer service was to notch, the Old timer Burger was easily 10/10 (so were the onion rings and chips/fries), the chocolate sundae was incredible, ice coffee mocha was meh though (was warm?), the seafood cob was one of the best comfort food i had in a while (incredibly tasty and creamy). The staff really does require an extra mention. Polite, efficient, attentive and they also sing and dance! The atmosphere, decor was incredible. Would not hesitate to return.

⚠️HONEST REVIEW⚠️ SKIP IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ ✨️ Ambiance 10/10 👏🏻 super nice! love the ambiance, a lot of things to see. ✨️ Food: What we ordered. 7/10 👌🏻Chocolate Milkshake - not too sweet, just the right chocolate-y milky taste 👌🏻Burgers : I forgot on what we ordered, check the images for reference. I think it's the classic and their American Burger. It's meaty and juicy, but it lacks dressing. Nakakumay din pala ang lasa ng meaty burger 😅 Too much fries which is nakakaumay din 😅 It comes with a small amount of coleslaw (hope they can add more LOL) ⭕️Street Parking only. Hirap mag-park saka napapaligiran kasi ng club so medyo busy ang street na to, saka di ko masabi kung safe nga ba 😅 Hope they can find a better location. We're planning to visit the place again to try their other Menus 😁 That's all 😉

I had such a fantastic experience at The Filling Station! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the menu was absolutely superb — every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the effort that goes into both the food and the overall dining experience. A very special shoutout to Eka and Christine for their outstanding service. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality truly elevated the experience and made it memorable. If you’re looking for a place with excellent food and top-notch service, The Filling Station is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

The decor and vibe is very cool, full on American diner style with a pink caddy on the ceiling and lots of flare and bling around. The food (we had burgers) was absolutely nothing to rave about. Very basic and nothing special about it at all. Service was alright. Overall would recommend for some pictures and a drink or milkshake perhaps but would not come back for food.

I love the vibe. Their waffles and chicken combo will always fill me up and the quality is just superb. Big portions. You can do sharing ✨️ great place to chill especially at night when all the neon lights are on.. they also have 3 areas where you can hold events up to 70pax.

Ambiance is great, good for those IG pics. Food is a bit pricey but is worth it because of the taste and serving size. The servers are accomodating and will make sure you'll enjoy dining there. You might need reservations for weekends/peak hours.
Lawrence I — Google review
Never thought they'd serve good food since their aesthetics is so damn great! But yes, they serve really good food to my taste buds. It's pricey which is kinda expected as they are selling the place's ambiance too. No entrance fee is collected. Just dine and go! Their milkshake cost ₱360 but it has a refill! So I feel it was not bad at all... the refill was generous!
Geodude — Google review
Its your old school diner that is designed to be aesthetically pleasing. Food tastes okay and comes in large portions. We were very full after eating here. The servers are also dressed as your famous American artists such as Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley. Do not come here if you're counting calories but this is the best place to break from a diet. The music, atmosphere, food, and vibe of this place used perfect to create that American diner experience. They accept cash and gcash as payment. They also helped packed all of our leftover food.

Ilustrado Restaurant is a renowned dining spot located in the heart of historic Intramuros in Manila. Housed in a charming heritage building, it offers a romantic setting with antique decor and lush surroundings, making it popular for tourists and wedding venues. The menu features a mix of Spanish, Filipino, and global cuisines, including traditional dishes like callos Madrilena and jamon serrano alongside favorites like caesar salad and Canadian maple-glazed baby back ribs.
Great service! Very friendly host and even more attentive, professional and polite wait staff. Food were amazing as always. My favorite was the tanigue in turmeric cream (amazing sauce and perfectly cooked fish!), paella ilustrado (generous in fresh seafood and meat toppings), and sampaguita ice cream (I think it's a divisive flavor but I personally enjoy it). I appreciate the traditional look of the resto but I hope they can use table cloths with no stains next time. Ilustrado is a must-visit when in Intramuros!

Had the chance to grab a quick dinner here after hearing it’s a popular spot in the area. The host guided me to my seat right away, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The food was okay and satisfying for a quick meal. The location is also convenient, very close to Intramuros, which makes it a nice stop if you’re exploring the area. Overall, a good spot for a casual meal with great service.
Laras S — Google review
Overpriced and Unhelpful Service I booked this venue for an upcoming event and ran into a few issues during the planning stage mainly with the food tasting. The package included tasting for two people, but since I’m based overseas, I arranged and paid for three extra family members to attend (₱2,000 per head). On the day, three other relatives came along but ordered à la carte and weren’t part of the tasting, which had been clearly communicated in advance. After the tasting, my family raised a few concerns: • Some of the agreed menu items weren’t served. • Portions were quite small considering the extra ₱6,000 we paid. • No alternative options were offered for dishes that didn’t work out. When I tried to relay this feedback, the staff member handling my booking came across as defensive and dismissive. Instead of offering solutions, they seemed more focused on explaining why things happened, which made the whole exchange unnecessarily frustrating. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this venue for event planning or coordination based on how things were handled.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, perfect for enjoying a nice meal. Highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Filipino cuisine with great service!

Great Atmosphere, Disappointing Service Ilustrado Restaurant has a beautiful, nostalgic vibe that fits perfectly in Intramuros. The setting really does feel like a walk back in time. Elegant, old school, and well put together. That part, no question, is the highlight. Unfortunately, the service just didn’t match the setting. We were a group of five and they only set up four place settings. When they added the fifth, they forgot the plate and utensils. We ordered champurrado and asked for extra bowls. They brought out only two and forgot the spoons. It was a constant pattern of having to ask twice for things that should have been automatic. When the next set of dishes came out, the used plates from earlier weren’t cleared, leaving the table crowded. We had to ask them to clear it and even then, they only did half the job. We had to call them again just to make room for the new dishes. The food was decent but not memorable. I’ve had better paella elsewhere at a lower price point. Nothing was bad but it didn’t justify the premium. To their credit, they offered to hold our leftovers while we explored Intramuros, which was thoughtful and appreciated. I really wanted to enjoy the experience more than I did. The ambiance is amazing, but the service was careless and left a lot to be desired. If they can tighten that up, the place has real potential. But for now, two stars feels honest.
Carlson D — Google review
Love all the foods I ordered here. Definitely a restaurant we should go when we are at Intramuros. I love Kambing Kaldreta!! I also ordered Fish Sinigang and Beef Salpicao. Love them all 💯
Divika F — Google review
Friendly staff. Place has not enough ventilation - it’s kind of hot. The food, however, is delicious. It’s my first time to eat sampaguita ice cream, and it amazes me!
Jah R — Google review
Vastly overrated food without the "fine dining" service it boasts. Kare-kare served first without the rice, despite being the main. The dish was full of blackened specks from the burnt meat—if there was ever any meat at all. Calamares were soggy and tasted old. The coating was a joke even if the squid was fresh. Drinks were good but I was served the wrong one and charged the wrong one as well at the end. Apart from the ambiance and live music, there's nothing in this restaurant that I'd come back for. I don't mind paying—but at least let the food be fresh! Avoid. There are better options.

The focus is on high-quality ingredients with innovative flavor combinations and modern plating techniques. The tasting menu showcases dishes like Duck, Soursop, Black Pepper and Strip Loin, Mushroom, Sunchoke. Chef Josh Boutwood also leads other renowned brands such as The Test Kitchen and Savage.
Amazing dining experience in the middle of metro manila. Service was attentive, and head chef/owner Josh was personable and made us feel very welcomed. Tasting course serves up much more than enough food to not only feed you but also excites your taste buds with different textures, cuisines, and personalities roll into one cohesive menu. Stand out dishes are the mussel, seafood cracker, wagyu tartare, and the SEA BASS. The Sea bass was so good, I can use many more servings of it. Wine pairing featured Italian and french wine and they are generous with their pours. Must try in Manila.

Really nice fancy/fine dining meal with great service. Loved the atmosphere being able to watch the kitchen work. Some interesting and delicious bites. Also they offered to provide a little bit of sourdough starter!
Cherry T — Google review
Creative menu! Some of the dishes really hit the spot, but others could’ve used a little more wow. I find that a lot of the flavors blend into one creamy texture—like it’s all a bit too smooth and not enough contrast. You know what I mean? It’s like the flavor’s on a straight line, with no unexpected twists or ‘wow’ moments that make you go, ‘Wait, this is next-level!’ Could use a little acidity, punch or some texture pop to really elevate the experience. Also, I tasted some dishes a bit on the saltier and sweeter side of my liking.
Huangyaoning 1 — Google review
Amazing food and attention to detail by Chef Josh and his talented team. We tried the Harry Potter menu and wine pairing, and were left more than satisfied! The staff were very professional. Ambiance is intimate and lovely. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.
Denise M — Google review
Now I have a poor mouth, by that I mean I was born in a middle class family that now have decent money for me to afford this. I would say the course is delicious and delivers a unique taste. The serving may look small but it is fulfilling by the end. However I wasn't that keen to have Filipino theme course meal and it's on me for not checking information about the theme. I would say it's a nice EXPERIENCE especially if it's your first time, but I would not recommend going in twice. BTW be careful with your water intake as they charge per bottle, I forgot how much but we had 3 bottles and cost us 1k PHP +. I also availed the alcohol inclusion. For me, someone who wanted to experience various alcohol to have some knowledge about wines, it was worth it. Tried various wines which did compliment the dishes. Also I thought it was just one glass per fill in but seems to be bottomless? Well they refilled mine 2-3x times at one point because I had the mindset to finish the alcohol before the meal and well (save food taste for last)...

Visited December 2024. Absolutely phenomenal experience. Hospitality was exceptional. Trish the Restaurant Manager was already amazing prior to our reservation. She made sure our wines were stored properly and our dietaries taken care of. The service team was superb as well. Friendly and knowledgeable. Now the food. Chef Josh has managed to put his name on the top of Philippines chefs scene for a reason. 4 snacks, 12 courses and some petit fours. Mind blown by all of them. I can to this day remember everything we had that night. Also we really loved their bread and the attentive kitchen staff offered us to take some of their sourdough starter home. We managed to bring it to New Zealand and we make now almost everyday bread from it. This is what hospitality and a great restaurant should be all about. Something to remember, an experience out of time that stays with you for a long time. We can’t wait to come back to Manilla to visit this place again. 2 Michelin star equivalent. Only thing to improve would be a better wine list. Thanks again
Hugo A — Google review
The food was artistically presented. Some dishes were delicious while others were a little too salty. Regarding the salty dishes, there was something missing to make it better. Chef Josh and the rest of his team were both entertaining, informative, attentive, and accommodating. Tbh, the price was overwhelming in this economy. Water cost my group Php 500 each for 2 bottles. It's definitely a place for special occasions.

Spectacular concept and beautiful design. the space is perfect for what Chef Josh is trying to achieve. He is hands on and interacts with every table which is a great touch. The fare....well it's creative, the best of the best when it comes to the ingredients, prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. What else can you ask for? The service was well trained and groomed and provided perfect service. Overall this restaurant and dining experience is a must when in Manila. They are truly worthy of their recent 2 Michelin stars and a great dining experience is awaiting you !!!!

Restaurant
Grace Park Dining, located in One Rockwell, offers a unique take on familiar Filipino dishes with regional delicacies. Run by passionate chefs, it is known for its fresh approach to Pinoy flavors. The restaurant is a special place created by Margarita Fores and holds a special place in the hearts of many. Additionally, Grace Park transforms into a breakfast haven on Fridays and weekends, offering farm-to-table Italian dishes.
Absolutely loved this place! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming perfect for a relaxed meal or a casual date night. What really stood out, though, were the desserts. They were not just delicious, but also unique and memorable. The avocado tart was a surprising delight — light, creamy, and perfectly balanced. And the lava pastillas? Rich, indulgent, and unlike anything I’ve tried before. It's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
Richard S — Google review
Food was stellar, as expected of any Margarita Fores resto. My family loved everything except for the lechon--it was just fine. I highly recommend the Blue Crab spaghettini and the Muscovado Beef Belly. However, service could be better. We were seated at the upstairs area facing the window, and it was hard to call our servers attention. A few times, we had to repeat our requests for extra cutlery. Also, the batchoy ramen took almost 40 minutes to arrive. By then, my 7 year old niece was quite hangry. And even though my reservation mentioned that I was there to celebrate my birthday, the staff didn't seem to notice--which was awkward since they sang for the other tables about 4 separate times... LOL. Even my family was urging me to let them know, but by then I was a bit annoyed. Now yes, the place was busy. But I still expected better service considering our 5 digit bill. Next time, I'm going with a smaller group and sitting at the common area. Maybe we'll be served better then.

We had lunch at Grace Park and my family truly enjoyed the food and dessert. Our favorites are the lechon negros and the muscovado belly. Kare-kare was also great, it comes with alamang and bagoong fish. For dessert, we had the the tres leches cake and the chocolate lava with pastillas. The latter was super good, we wished thought it comes with a stick bread that you can dip in to the choco lava. Our server Tina was also super warm and friendly! We will be back, absolutely!

Eli was a great, attentive, and hospitable server. His recommendation for the Caesar salad was good. However, the food was honestly mediocre. Super oily, lacking flavor, nothing special. The scallops are small but they told us beforehand and mentioned they increased the quantity because of the size. My problem was with the flavor (or lack thereof). It wasn’t terrible but I probably won’t eat here again.

Had a wonderful meal at Grace Park! We tried the longanisa breakfast, muscovado belly, and the squash flower appetizer that are all flavorful and beautifully prepared. The squash flower dish was especially interesting and unique. As a big fan of iced tea, I loved that they served Ivatan iced tea such a refreshing treat! Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Can’t wait to come back 🙂

The restaurant prides itself with their delicious take on Filipino dishes, and they definitely did not disappoint. Food was definitely amazing, with the Penne with Ilonggo Chorizo Cream being the clear standout among what we ordered. The steak, was seasoned just right which allows one to enjoy either the gravy or cheese sauce that comes along with it. But a sprinkle of salt goes a long way. Moreover, getting that 500g cut for a fraction of a price compared to other steak houses is a great deal. The Filipino in me went for the Laing because i’ve heard amazing stuff about it, and it did not disappoint. Kudos to Tina for the great experience. Will definitely be back.

Went for dinner last night and we loved it! It was a chill, uncomplicated, and very satisfying dinner. Both of our entrées were delicious, however, I really didn’t care for the cuatro leches cake. I thought it was too dense and not really sweet but my boyfriend liked it. Lastly, our waiter Elli was lovely. Super attentive, friendly and sweet.

The food was so delicious and the atmosphere of the entire store is so cozy. Our server Gab was so nice and welcoming! She took care of us the entire time we were there and was always so kind. Thank you so much Grace Park!

Modern French restaurant
Metronome, a renowned restaurant, faced challenges with its dine-in operations due to the lack of an outdoor dining area. However, the team behind the acclaimed establishment launched Lazy Oeuf in 2020 to continue serving their loyal patrons with gourmet takeaway offerings. The sister brand offers a delectable array of dishes such as French onion burgers with foie gras, croissant sandwiches, and indulgent desserts.
Visited in March. Philippines - Manila. Makati A delightful French restaurant located in the heart of Makati. The space is bright, beautiful, and perfect for a special dinner. Food: We sampled several dishes from the à la carte menu, focusing on small plates: Every dish we tried was exceptional. We commenced with a petite appetizer, a tartlet filled with foie gras mousse—exquisite, delicate texture inside, harmoniously paired with a crispy tartlet. The flavor of foie gras lingered delightfully as we savored each bite, striking a perfect balance. The scallops were impeccably fried—crispy exterior, tender interior. The pan-fried foie gras was a highlight; luscious, melting in the mouth, tender, fatty, with a subtle sweetness, embodying the essence of this prized delicacy. For the main course, we opted for lobster pasta and artichoke gratin. The pasta was flawlessly cooked—al dente texture, a well-balanced sauce that wasn't heavy but perfectly coated. The lobster was expertly prepared—tender and succulent. The artichoke gratin stole the show—an exceptional, vibrant, and uniquely flavorful dish. Atmosphere: The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant; the only drawback was the excessive noise, causing echoing voices that made it slightly challenging to converse comfortably. Service: The service was commendable, though it may not have reached the standards of fine dining establishments. Nevertheless, we felt well-attended to; the waitstaff was attentive, prompt in clearing dishes, and ensuring drink refills. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant; your dining experience is sure to be satisfying. It's the kind of establishment that leaves you willing to return for another round of such delectable dishes.

Ambience : Cozy and standard Service : Professional, friendly & perfect Dishes : Unique & authentic Prices : Totally worth it First time here and tried their recommended DISCOVER SET MENU and it's really worth (except the desserts are pretty sweet). Had been extra order a steak and it's really juicy and tender. Perfect place for couples or gathering but remember to make reservation and bring your vaccination card. There's also a pretty cute cat lying by the front door. :-)

Very good restaurant, was on my list to come and visit and try out their French style cuisine . tasty starters that we asked to share and we both had the hanger steak with fries and peppercorn sauce. There were a lot of other special options for main course but really felt like having a nice steak and weren’t disappointed. By far the best hanger steak ever had in the Philippines and by far the best fries had in the Philippines. Peppercorn sauce was good and asked for some extra mayonnaise- which I had the impression was freshly made. We also had 2 desserts on the a la carte menu and both dessert were stunning. Drinks wise - loved my sparkling wine, and a decent option for red and white wine. Very nice bar menu with various options for cocktails.

I had the most wonderful lunch at Metronome. We took our friend for her birthday and I am so happy we went for lunch! I love the menu options they provided for lunch. There was a bistro menu where you can choose a la carte dishes, a Main set menu that includes a starter, main and dessert or you can choose from a selected menu of dishes taken from their dinner menu. We opted to order from both. Our table started with the French Onion soup, which was so rich and satisfying a great start to lunch. (I was surprised they still had it on the menu especially with the onion shortage it is hard to find onions in Manila right now!). I absolutely loved the egg small plate/starter, it was so pretty we didn’t want to mix it all together. But it was one of my favorite dishes. 64° egg, cèpes and truffle cream, mushroom, potato purée, spring roll wrappers that were cut and looked like crispy noodles. It sounds like a rich and heavy starter but it was surprisingly light and so wonderful I couldn’t just have one bite. For the main dish our table ordered the Halibut, Spaghettini & Duck. We were very happy with all three. Each was very different my favorite was the Spaghettini and the Halibut - you can tell Chef Miko but her heart and soul into the menu. We ended with the chocolate mousse (I always have to order chocolate mousse at a French restaurant.) and coffee. It was a perfect ending to our lunch. The restaurant interior, vibe and the lunch service was so lovely. Bravo Metronome - I can’t wait to come back for dinner.

Went with their Tasting Menu (pre-order). We were seven in the group and went in for dinner. We all enjoyed the food!! Each dish was unique on its own and is very tasty. The restaurant is true to its roots as a French with a modern twist :) most of my companions favorite is the langoustine croustillant! Do also try their cocktails hehe really very good you wouldnt be disappointed. Will surely be back to have a go with their lunch service and also to try other items they offer ala carte :) It was a fantastic time at Metronome.

Totally amazing inspired 12-course curated dinner at the recent Meyronome 6-Hands Filipinas event by Miko Calo, Margarita Fores, and Johanna Siy. It was so delightful to savor new takes on Ulang RiverPrawns, Ukoy with Italian Shrimps, a super umami Abalone, and 3 Crabs in a dish. Wow. What a memorable dining experience by these wonderful Filipina chefs!
Maricelle N — Google review
After a friend said that the tasting/set menu wasn’t that good, we decided to with the a la carte. Interiors are pleasant. Service is of course good. What I remember is how delicious that seafood appetizers were - the lobster spaghettini and uni risotto. The main course (my wife and I ordered seafood) was so-so in relation to the seafood appetizers. Maybe we should have tried the meat main course. Overall ok. But if we’re comparing new high-end restos like Toyo, Gallery by Chele, and Metronome which all require downpayments prior to eating - you should choose Chele.

Rodic's Diner, a well-known establishment in the UP Diliman campus and with 12 other branches in Manila, is famous for its finely chopped tapa and traditional Filipino cuisine. The diner offers a modern twist on classic dishes, such as the Tapsilog featuring extra soft tapa sprinkled over rice with a sunny-side up egg. Despite being closed on weekends, Rodic's Diner provides decent food at affordable prices ranging from 99 to less than 200 pesos.

Step into Big Boy's Diner and be transported back to the 50s with its nostalgic decor and neon lights. Despite its small size, the diner exudes personality and charm, making it a great place to catch up with friends. The food is genuine and delicious, from the yummy burgers to the classic milkshakes. While service may take a while, the friendly staff and great atmosphere make it worth the wait.
Great American 50s style diner illuminated with neon lights, felt that I was transported back in time. Music was awesome, waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. Great place to catch up with friends. Big boy's diner felt alive, service was amazing and food is affordable and tastes really good! Denny’s One Ayala is a popular American chain that has successfully established itself in the Philippine market. Despite the departure of its competitors, Denny’s remains a strong presence with its 24-hour joint located conveniently next to The Palace. Known for great food and accommodating staff, Denny’s One Ayala continues to attract locals and visitors alike.
I recently dined at Denny’s Diner and had a generally pleasant experience. The menu offers a wide variety of classic American comfort food, and I appreciated the all-day breakfast options. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was served hot and flavorful — especially the pancakes and hash browns. The staff were courteous and attentive, though service could have been a bit quicker during peak hours. The atmosphere was casual and family-friendly, with a nostalgic diner vibe that added to the charm. One area for improvement would be the cleanliness of the restrooms and some of the booths, which looked like they needed a bit more attention. Overall, it’s a good spot for comfort food, especially if you’re craving breakfast at any hour.

We tried the Diner Dash Platter at Denny’s and it was definitely a treat! For just P1445, you get a generous bundle that’s good for 3–4 people. The highlights? The Spaghetti Chicken Parmigiana and Pork Belly Crunch were so flavorful and satisfying. Loved the Andouille and Bacon Cheese Sausages too—perfect with the garlic rice! It also comes with onion rings, corn and carrots, and complimentary brewed coffee. Super sulit and perfect for sharing with friends or family. Will definitely come back to try the other bundles!

Since this resto has a few branches and we happened to be in One Ayala, we tried to dine here and tried the promo of the Bistro group. For me, it has an American breakfast resto vibe. I must say that I like their Salisbury steak that I ordered.
John C — Google review
This Denny’s branch is open 24 hours, which is definitely convenient. However, the food service can be a bit slow, and the quality isn’t quite on par with other locations—or perhaps it's just consistent with Denny's overall standard. When it comes to breakfast options and pricing, there are better alternatives in the area

Spiral Restaurant, situated in Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, is renowned for its opulent buffet offerings. The restaurant boasts 21 ateliers that provide a diverse dining experience representing various countries. From the French and Japanese stations to the Filipino and Korean ateliers, guests can indulge in an array of international cuisines.
My stay at Sofitel was truly exceptional! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment I stepped out of the vehicle. The hotel's ambiance was both luxurious and soothing, providing the perfect atmosphere for unwinding and relaxation. The buffet offered a remarkable selection of delicious dishes that exceeded my expectations. And as for the massage at Le Spa – it was pure bliss! The therapists were friendly, and the complimentary ginger tea after the massage was a lovely touch. Nice looking view from my luxury room. I'm already looking forward to my next unforgettable stay at Sofitel!

Best Experience. The place is well designed and fancy. I celebrated my birthday here and it was really worth it. The foods were really good. all kinds of dishes from different countries. I like those foods that you cannot see on other buffets like lobster, different kinds of cheese and other expensive foods. The service was also superB. Very accommodating staff. Recommended for those who want to celebrate a special day.

We had an amazing dining experience at the Spiral buffet! It deserves a solid 5-star rating. The highlight for me was definitely the brick oven pizza, which was both delicious and fresh. The selection of dishes was impressive, offering a wide variety of options that catered to everyone's tastes. From start to finish, it was a delightful culinary journey that I can't wait to repeat.
Dude M — Google review
Tagged as the biggest, grandest and most expensive buffet in Philippines, Spiral was truly that with its vast seating, and varied food stations. However, I wasn't all that impressed as the food didn't look that sumptuous and stations were barely overflowing with food. We were here on Saturday for some lunch, thanks to a credit card offer we got a little discount but still pricey compared to other buffets. No pork lechon, no lobster, no saba for the halo-halo, ran out on some cheese and grapes in the cheese room, only 1 beef option in the roasterie and just a chicken. Well, the good thing is everything I tried tasted good and felt fresh, coffee was good too. By the way only hot beverages comes free with the buffet, all others are charged on top and it can be very steep. All in all, it was an experience we wouldn't be going back for.

Our family had an amazing time at Spiral. The food was incredible, with a wide variety that pleased everyone. The restaurant’s buffet concept is a global culinary adventure, with live cooking stations offering a wide variety of flavors. From fresh seafood to delectable desserts, every dish was a treat for the senses. The staff, from waiters to managers, were so friendly and attentive, making us feel really welcome. They even offered us a private room, ensuring a comfortable and accommodating dining experience for all of us. This thoughtful gesture added to the enjoyable atmosphere and made our time at Spiral even more special. It was a heartwarming experience, and the atmosphere made us feel like we were among friends. Spiral is definitely a place where delicious food and wonderful people come together to create a memorable family outing. We can't wait to go back!

Before they closed Spiral for good on July let me get my entry here. Spiral’s the most talked about, rave about and most expensive buffet in Manila. Thanks to Company events, Credit Card Discounts and Sofitel freebies I’m able to experience eating here. So far so good what I like most is their pastries and their cheese room. The other spread well almost at par with the buffets at other 5 star Hotel in Manila. I hope you will be able to try Spiral before they close their door for good.
Maricris C — Google review
Food cooking and flavor are solid. Generally diverse selection of cuisines but nothing that will surprise and wow. It was good for me to keep enjoying for a 7 day stay including desserts selections. Everyday I was asked about what I drink upon sitting and every day my water, tea, coffee etc would not appear even after I come back from a lengthy buffet hunting. I had to remind and on a few occasions multiple times. One morning I was almost done with my breakfast before coffee was finally delivered after multiple asks. Weird lack of dessert spoons presence on the table. I had to ask every day because it was never on the table. Ice cream was almost melted by the time some one brings dessert spoon. Dirty dishes pick up varied on different days sometimes rather slow. I still enjoyed overall experience and vibes. I really hope some day no pets in hotels because can't enjoy if they are barking at the restaurant or the pool.

It's a luxurious buffet restaurant with a lot of food choices, inspired by dishes from different countries. Food is very good and delicious, the service is superb and the atmosphere is cozy and classy. The ambiance is very relaxing with very mild and beautiful background music from musicians playing live. This is better than the famous Vikings and other buffet restaurants but pricier, they charge higher than the others which is expected because it is in a high-class Sofitel Hotel.

If you're looking for a fine dining steak experience, Sage Bespoke Grill in Makati Shangri-La Hotel is a must try. Using Josper Grill to cook the meat ensures it will not be overcooked and dry, while they also have seafood dishes, bread, salad, desserts and wines.
My partner and I decided to spend the last night of our 2 weeks vacation at Makati Shangri-la to Sage Grill. From the concierge to the servers, the service was wonderful. If you are looking for a classy, intimate and romantic date with your loved ones, Sage Grill is the perfect place to go. The food was delicious and the price is reasonable. We will definitely dine in here again. Highly recommended!

I was here for an event so my exposure to the menu was really limited. As expected the service was excellent, the food was sufficient and the atmosphere had an elegant ambiance for a bar. The platter was a little on the small portion side and price was okay - it wasn't overpriced. Overall felt pretty satisfied with the selection of cheeses. Just wished there was more of it. I had to request additional bread for the delicious apricot jam. The mix of the food was great with wine.

It was a quick lunch at Sage Grill. Service was great and I was happy that a new bottle of Lodi Sauvignon Blanc was opened for me when I ordered the housepour by the glass. The lobster sandwich was disappointing but was made up when they served me loads of warmed bread as a starter. Recommended for a nice business lunch.

The best steaks we’ve ever had outside of the US...including Australia and Argentina! Everything we tried was delicious, including the salads, the oysters, the French onion soup, the burger, the sides (onion rings, steak fries, Mac and cheese), and don’t even get me started on the Argentinian rib eye! Sage is a wonderful steakhouse with a fantastic menu, with varied options, and seasonal offerings. Their wine list is extensive and their bar is gorgeous! The service is wonderful, the attention to detail (from the decor to the food presentation) is something to behold. And it is clearly well-managed, as the staff is knowledgeable, well-trained, and just happy. On our last night in town, Marvin took great care of us. And Ace, one of the managers, who had stopped by our table during each of our many visits, made it a point to say goodbye and wish us well. It just really made us feel like family, and we are really looking forward to booking another trip back to Manila and going back to Sage. I wish there were more Sage Bespoke Grills at the other Shangri-La properties because dining here is an absolute treat! Also...we were able to order their full menu via room service (which we took advantage of three Times during our four night stay, in addition to eating in the restaurant twice as well!).

Food is okay and atmosphere is nice. Quiet and not so full. Unfortunately, service was absolutely terrible. Not sure if they are short staffed. The restaurant was practically empty. We had a big table. Food came very late. Waiter would forget items we asked for. Find another place for better service. This is not a cheap place and with the price the service should be so much more. We will not be booking this place again for our family gatherings. Not recommended.

Mitre in Intramuros never disappoints! Their crispy pata is a must-try, and I keep craving their pasta, ulam, and coffee. This place is always my first choice whenever there’s an occasion or family celebration. Great food, cozy vibe, and super friendly staff! ☺️😋🩷

The service seriously can use some improvements here. When I first stepped into the restaurant, no one greeted me and led me to the table. The staff have no idea about their own menus and what cakes are available at the moment. Nobody poured water from a strange-looking bottle for me, and I wasn't even given a spoon. When I asked for it, one female staffer looked a bit annoyed, or maybe that was just how she normally looks, but I don't like the attitude here. It was 10 am on Sunday, and the dining room was not even busy. You should train your staff to have a more service-minded mindset. One of the customers had her hand up in the air for awhile, but nobody paid attention that she had to walk towards one of the staff. I asked for a slice of cake two times, but they came to me with a bill I hadn't asked for instead. They quickly cleaned my table, even the napkin I hadn't used, like they couldn't wait for me to leave already when I was there for 20 minutes. The food and its price go hand in hand, but I would not come back here again. The pistachio raspberry cake was good, by the way; it wasn't too creamy or sweet.

After mass at San Agustin Church in Intramuros we dropped by Ristorante delle Mitre just across the street. The Kare-Kare was good and the Lechon Kawali was excellent, crisp on the outside and soft inside. The Baby Squid, which I expected to be served in olive oil, was instead battered and fried and turned out really good. The standout for me was the Sinigang. It is a familiar Filipino dish but theirs had something that just made it very good. Hard to explain but it hit the spot. Worth dropping by if you are in the area.

Prime location, right within Intramuros, within walking distance of the Fort Santiago and right next to Saint Augustin church. Overall positive experience, good food, nice and quick service and interesting decor. The pricing doesn’t seem expensive but portions are small so your bill might rack up. P/S: Green mango smoothie is extremely sour.

Came here for lunch. The place has a good atmosphere and theming which was centred around the clergy. The dishes are kinda pricy since this is around a tourist area but there are some rice meals. I ordered the gnocchi. My order arrived after 15 mins later. The gnocchi was chewy but still soft. The pasta looked handmade which was nice. The sauce was pretty good. The portions was kind off lacking considering the price. All in all the food was good but need more of it.

I super loved their Sizzling Sinigang — it’s so flavorful and unique! The pudding for dessert was also really good and comforting. Overall, great food, great service, and a really good experience!

The restaurant is quite spacious, so it does not feel too crammed even when full. The staff are polite and accommodating. The food is always on point. Just great Filipino comfort food with a twist.

Price: average priced Location: inside a mini mall. Customer Service/Experience: we were seated outside and a bit hard to get the waiter's attention in the beginning. we were assisted eventually. good servicing and attentive staff. Restroom: none inside. mall/public restroom available. Parking: spacious mall parking. Promotions: none Comments: mac's fried chicken is the best! sizzling sinigang is good too!

Food : It is okay. I asked for salt and pepper to adjust almost all. Maybe I was expecting too much given the price of the orders. I liked the drinks. Service : No complain about this. The staff were all nice and always looking if we need anything. Atmosphere : The place is well designed and lit. Not too tight even if there are a lot of customers.

Food: Tried the corned steak and it was OK, meat was tender and flavours just right. Gising gising was also fine, nothing much to rave about. Service: (1) Phone reservation was annoying. The person on the other side of the line made me repeat all reservation details at least 3 times when I was already speaking very slowly and clearly. (2) Since I made the reservation, I was expecting that my group’s table would be ready when we got there - it was not. The service staff randomly picked a table for us but fortunately they allowed me to pick another one that I preferred. (3) It was hot, the A/C was not on and they were only relying on the mall’s cooling system. We were fanning ourselves with the menu and the staff obviously noticed that and they still did not bother to turn on the A/C. It was very uncomfortable that we just wanted to finish our meal quickly and get out of that place. (4) It took them 30 minutes to serve the meal. Atmosphere: Could have been better if not for the discomfort of sweating while having your meal. It was our first time to dine there and will certainly not come back.

Great takes on local Filipino cuisine. The pork chop was amazing, so loved the garlic fried rice. Watermelon salad was equally great, and the beef / egg / rice dish was also tasty. Definitely recommend!

Locavore is one of the standout restaurants that elevates traditional Filipino cuisine into a more premium dining experience. However, during our first visit, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag—though, for the most part, it was a hit. Salted Egg Gabi Chips – These were absolutely delicious! Once you start, it’s hard to stop. The crispy texture paired with the salted egg flavor is quite addictive. This was definitely a HIT for me. Sizzling Sinigang – I’ve seen many vloggers rave about this dish, but sadly, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The sinigang broth was overly sour (even for a sinigang) and too salty. While this may be to some people’s liking, it didn’t work for me. This was a MISS. Garlic Baby Squid – Another fantastic dish from Locavore. The umami flavor was well-balanced—neither too strong nor too subtle. The squid was perfectly cooked, tender and not at all rubbery or chewy. This was a definite HIT for me. Sugpo Con Mayonesa – I’m on the fence with this one. While it’s flavorful, I found the mayonnaise to be a bit too overpowering. After a few spoonfuls, it became a bit too rich and “nakaka-umay” (a term for feeling overwhelmed by the taste). I’d call this dish neither a HIT nor a MISS—it’s somewhere in between for me. Overall, Locavore offers a fantastic upscale dining experience, albeit a bit on the pricier side. If you’re looking for Filipino food with a modern twist, this is the place to go. However, while I can see myself and my family occasionally visiting Locavore to explore more of their creative dishes, I would still gravitate toward more traditionally cooked and affordable Filipino meals at places like Kuya J, Gerry’s Grill, Aling Sosing’s, or Tapsi ni Vivian at Bulaluhan.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic taste of Madrid, look no further than Manduca Taberna. This charming Spanish eatery captures the essence of Madrid's diverse culinary scene, offering a delightful array of regional comfort foods alongside tantalizing tapas and fine wines. Chef Amado Garcia Fernandez emphasizes that Madrid is a melting pot, which is reflected in their eclectic menu.
We have wonderful time at the restaurant. Jc , one of the staff recommended the Ribeye and it was amazing. So tsty and cooked just right! Jc and Lyn was very friendly and helpful and realy made our visit special. All were delicious. The service overall was great and the staff made us feel welcome. We'll definitely be back again.

Food is okay. Ordered gambas and lasagna. I enjoyed the gambas mainly because I love shrimp and also it’s the right amount of garlic and butter for me. The lasagna was too cheesy for my liking. Actually what I liked the most was the complimentary bread, and also their sour lemonade. Staff were really attentive and kind. Shoutout to Ms. Gigi, thank you for the bread refills!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Maduca Modern Madrid Taberna! The food was excellent — flavorful, well-presented, and authentically Spanish. The ambiance gave a true Madrid vibe, perfect for relaxing and enjoying good company. Special mention to Sir Don! very attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations and ensured everything was served perfectly. Excellent service all throughout!

Was supposed to just go for the happy hour GnT but ended up staying for the food. This isnt my first time in Manduca so I can definitely say that consistency with the quality and taste of the food was never an issue. The Chistorra Picante and the Salpicao are always clear favorites. I’d also try the ceviche if I were you. In terms of the drinks, the GnT is absolutely amazing. The aperol spritz is a good option; but the amaretto sour is a winner. Doniel took really good care of us so look for him when youre there.

I will definitely come back here! Delicious food with great portions. Got the patatas bravas, croquettes, half chicken with truffle mashed potato. They gave us a complimentary slice of manchego cheesecake, and it is hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. They play the latest Spanish songs and the overall vibe is amazing.

My last visit here was 3 years ago. I still like the vibe and their food. You have to make a reservation just in case you're a big group.

I love how the interior of the place give off an inviting presence. I also loved their service. The servers were very attentive. I never had to ask for water refill, since my glass was always full everytime I checked. Their homemade raviolis were the bomb. I love how the earthiness of the truffle combined with the savory oyster sauce created a wonderful experience. However, I was disappointed when we ordered the Cachopo Asturiano, which was supposed to be the star of the show, was very underwhelming. The beef was quite tough, and I noticed it wasn't seasoned well enough. I might give this another shot, since my girlfriend told me that it tasted a lot better the last time she ate here.
Migs A — Google review
Sir Don, Ella, and Kenneth were very attentive and were very fast. We had the steak, beef tapa, croquetas, and sangria. Croquetas were the highlight of the meal, and the steak was juicy. The beef tapa was also great, serving was big. Very satisfied. ☺️ Oh and we ordered the manchego cheesecake to go.

Free parking at the back for one hour. This is one of the OG go to restos at timog. We like their beef tapa, which is unique because it is quite sweet. Meal includes a coffee with condensed milk, two eggs and a whole lot of tapa.

September 2025 Informal pinoy resto open for 25 hours 🤣🤣🤣🤣 One of the longest running goto and tapsihan joints with a very loyal clientele. This branch has gone through some changes and upgrades but the core menu and feels has stayed the same ie wacky, fun and filling. Lugaw and goto and tapas have been their main stay dishes but they have expanded since then. Ideal for all times and all types of eaters. One weird note is the parking lot that is at the back of the lot with one very narrow entrance and exit way BUT no back entrance to the establishment. 😂😂😂😂 May be a safety hazard especially at nighttime 🌃 🤔 👀 😳

We ordered the dish below and my reviews: • Sizzling Porkchop Thin Slices w/ Java Rice - the Porkchop were literally sliced thinly as you can imagined, has overflowing gravy at the top, and the Java Rice taste good as expected. • BBQ Chicken w/ Java Rice - my partner ordered this, the chicken were juicy and savory, he seems to enjoy it with extra rice. • Leche Flan - not creamy, and very small slices were served, I did not enjoy it. Payment method: Cash Payment only Utensils: clean and very hot (literally the spoon and fork) Parking: Plenty Staffs: Accommodating

We ordered Tapa bacon supremo, Beef pares and Tokwa't baboy. Tapa was the usual tapa. Its salty and sweet. I wish it could be more tender and easy to chew. Bacon was oily and not too crispy. The beef pares was good. It has balance flavors of savory and sweet. Tokwa't baboy is okay too.

Whenever I feel like eating goto and tokwa't baboy, Goodah always comes to mind. Reasons are, they don't have a lot of competition in the area, the food tastes good (not the best but still good), large serving, and affordable. If you like eating goto like me, you should try Goodah!
Darwin B — Google review
₱419 for this small serving of binagoongan? Seriously? I had high expectations because this is a well-known shop, but the portion size was disappointing for the price. For ₱419, I expected something more filling and satisfying. Taste aside, the value just isn’t there. Hope they reconsider their pricing or portioning. This really didn’t feel worth it.
Pamela S — Google review
There was a strong vinegar smell on the table that wouldn’t go away, which was quite unpleasant. I only ordered two items—longsilog and halo-halo—and the taste was just average, nothing special. I also didn’t like the atmosphere of the place, and the employee’s way of welcoming guests felt uninviting.
Jemazu_ C — Google review
we usually go to breakfast spots right after our morning workout. So its not new to us to order pinoy staples such as tapsi and longsi. What I like most about this branch is the ample parking slots on an early morning on a weekend, and the diner feels of the place was also nice. The disappointing part was the food, the tapsilog was malitid to the point my mom wasnt able to finish cause of how 'tough' it was. I had longganisa which was also a downer as it looked like the ones you buy in the palengkes. Plus they dont have a creamer and sugar to go with their coffee. What they serve is condensed milk to go along. The service was a downer also, I guess the cashier and the other staff was reeling from the shift of the night before (theyre 24 hrs open btw)

Manam, located in Manila's Glorietta mall, has been a popular dining spot for years. The restaurant is known for its unique twist on classic Filipino dishes, with their never-before-seen version of pancit palabok being a standout. Diners have praised the delicious and flavorful food, such as the crispy house sisig with rice and the fried lumpiang ubod. The restaurant's ambiance is clean and inviting, with attentive staff providing friendly service.
Arriving just past midday, we were greeted with a brief 5–6 minute wait before being seated outdoors a choice we welcomed for its airy, inviting atmosphere. The service team was attentive and warm, setting a pleasant tone for the meal ahead. We began with Adobong Pusit sa Tinta and Adobong Puti, followed by Lumpiang Sariwa and the house-favorite Crispy Noodle Palabok. Each dish carried its own personality: both adobos were well-balanced, the salt and acidity in harmony; the lumpia’s sauce leaned sweet, complementing the freshness of the vegetables; and the palabok offered a generous taste of the sea in every bite. Our orders arrived in a well-paced 17 minutes neither rushed nor delayed allowing anticipation to build without overstaying its welcome. In the end, the experience delivered both in flavor and value. A meal here is not just satisfying; it’s money well spent.

We went to this Restaurant yesterday for Lunch. The place is good, the food is nice, and the service is excellent. My family and I love it. But the thing is, after we had almost finished our food, next to us was an Asian couple, no manners and no upbringing in Public, in my existence for the first time seeing a woman brushing her teeth and spitting out on her cup, it's disgusting, I almost vomited, and my kids felt terrible. I complained to the staff about why they tolerate those people doing that inside their restaurant. No reply and no one came to apologise, where is the manager? Cleanliness is your top priority, especially when you are serving food. It's a very unhygienic place. I'm not coming back to this place, never in my life again. Remember that there are so many competitions around you, so please try to observe every client who enters your premises.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It has all the traditional Philippine food, very very delicious dishes and is extremely affordable. This place was very highly recommended to us, and it exceeded all our expectations. We had the Adobong, Tap Si Log and the mango pomelo with Sago - highly recommend each of these. Too bad our stay here is short, but will book mark it again for next time!

The food was good as always, but the sinigang watermelon was quite thick. Also, we wanted our halohalo to be served last, but we found out we need to reduce the quantity ordered, they said it was already made. Quite surprised why they made in advance and just freeze it in the freezer?

A great introduction to Filipino cuisine for a first-time visitor! The food was flavorful and felt authentic, evident from the queue and the number of locals dining there. Every dish was bold and well-seasoned, leaving a strong impression of Filipino flavors. The atmosphere was pleasant, and despite visiting on a weekday evening, we only had a short 10–15 minute wait. Service could be more attentive, but overall, it was a great experience.

Whistlestop Jupiter underwent a transformation, transitioning from its friendly green and red appearance to a sleek black and white aesthetic. This shift seemed to attract more nighttime visitors, altering its image from an all-day food joint to a popular nighttime haunt. While the menu remained unchanged, featuring beloved favorites that comprised the majority of their extensive selection of dishes, some aspects received mixed reviews. The food was deemed average without any standout qualities, while the service was criticized for being slow and inattentive towards customers.
The place looks like an old bar, but it’s great that they have a separate dining area which is air conditioned. Super love the food! Price was decent, and the serving was huge. I highly recommend. We went here for Brunch by the way.

Whistlestop in Makati was great so we decided to try this branch out. All ten of us were satisfied with the quality of the food. Only issue was that we had to request for water and it was served for 5 people only so we had to go to the counter to request again. This may be due to the lack of staff during the 7am time slot. Regardless, the place is still good. Adding their menu as of August 2025.

Good food, friendly staff. Noise level can be high. Prices reasonable. Decent spot for casual nights.
Chael G — Google review
As long-time fans of Whistlestop (Alabang and BGC branch- back in the day, when it was still open in Fort Strip!), we decided to try their Jupiter, branch. It definitely delivers that same familiar, comfy vibe that's perfect for a casual night of catching up with friends over a couple of bottles and some good "kwentuhan." While the atmosphere is on point for relaxed hangouts, the food is where things fall a bit flat. It's not bad, but it's not exactly memorable either. One thing we noticed is that weekdays offer a much more chill experience compared to the Friday-Saturday crowd. If you're looking for a quieter setting, avoid the weekend rush.

5 nights ago: Quality of food/drinks & service have really declined. 5 months ago: Sunday breakfast with family. We came in as second group & requested the airconditioned room. Food were delish - bagoong rice, adobong pusit & baboy sa pinya, honey bourbon, dinuguan & chicharong bulaklak. Adobong pusit & baboy for the win, but I wish they'll add more squid. Dinuguan still good after all these years. Chicharon bulaklak was a big fail, serving was too small, so different from the pic on the menu & worst, not crunchy. Service was a bit slow considering only two tables were occupied. Lots of dishes were also not available. We were lucky we got a parking slot.

GoodAh!!! is a standout option for affordable food delivery, offering classic Filipino dishes at budget-friendly prices. The ambiance is described as modern and tidy, making it a welcoming spot for families looking to enjoy late-night meals like goto.
Original is always the best! Our all time favorite go-to place for Goto! Good line-up of delicious varieties of goto and other pinoy comfort foods. Friendly and attentive service. With ample parking space. Branches are always easy to find. Rain or shine, Goodah will always be the place to go!

Goodah has a branch in Granada St. and is open 24 hours. They have tapamix, which contains 2 cups of fried rice, two sunny-side eggs, and beef tapa. I ordered their coffee-based drink with coffee jelly on top. They have a slope parking area inside if you can't park in the front. Their Filipino comfort food is good so far. However, they don't give an invoice for the foods I ordered. They have funny messages that you will notice in the signage in the chairs, in the toilet, and the menu.

The space and parking was great. Food, not so much. We ordered: 1. tapsilog - not special 2. tapsi bacon silog - again not so special 3. sizzling sisig - it arrived at the table not sizzling and the egg was aleeady fully cooked. So, i think you should remove the "sizzling" in the name 4. Tokwa't baboy - this was good 5. batangas.lomi - this was also good Thale staff was friendly though.

Super hungry at 130am we decided to eat at GoodAh. Industrial designed resto and clean. Take note-CLEAN. It smells good once you enter (no foul odored oil), smells fresh. Food was ok. Liempo may have been a bit thicker. Opportunity for the restaurant is their payment option as there was no GCash (they said they exceeded for the month) and they have no other payment options as they do not have card payments as well. So had to look for ATM in the middle of the night to withdraw cash.

Goodah is a popular chain of Filipino fast-food restaurants known for its 24/7 operation and a menu that features classic Filipino comfort food. The dishes are reasonably priced, making it a go-to spot for quick and satisfying meals. Their best-sellers include silog meals, lugaw, and other traditional fares like adobo and sinigang. The ambiance is casual and unpretentious, perfect for late-night cravings or a quick bite any time of the day. While not a place for fine dining, Goodah offers a reliable and tasty option for those seeking authentic Filipino flavors.
Dennis L — Google review
Probably one of the worst goodah branch i've been to, the service here is slow that you have to call their attention, servers tend to stay at the back of the kitchen more often than staying at the dinning area to serve customers, food isn't the same at other locations
Louis L — Google review
This was supposed to be posted 7 months ago (June, 2021) but got buried along with other things in life. Anyway, better late than never. So here goes. Went here on a lazy weekday around 9am. There's one customer there already eating beside myself. I ordered their Tocilog and asked if it could a soup on the side. A nice lady took my order. After 10 or so minutes my order came with no soup and hence I asked again and I wished I didn't. The soup is really just water + Knorr beef cubes and was laden with onions (I think they were trying to hide that fact) and was horrible. As for the meal, it is just mediocre. Aling Banang's Tocilog meal was way better including the free bulalo soup and also way cheaper. Though unlike the roach infested Aling Banang's place, GoodAh is a lot of steps up the posh ladder. I mean, look at that interior! It makes most shops of Aling Banang's looking like shanties. Not to mention GoodAh's meals are served on a plate. AB's are served on a styro box sans the atsara which I wish AB's had some on the side. I can look past over the missed soup which the lady forgot. But still, not enough reason to go back for the food alone. Being a foodie, my taste bud still craves for the combination of mildly sweet tocino and salty fatty beefy soup of AB. GoodAh's not that memorable unfortunately.

Casa Roces is a Spanish restaurant with a sophisticated but relaxed ambience. The menu features Filipino and Spanish cuisine, which is well presented. The restaurant has received acclaim for its food and service.
Casa Roces is a rustic but romantic resto inside the Malacañang Complex. I love the fusion of nature because of surrounding trees and of history inside the the old ancentral house turn into a stylist restaurant. The price range is quite high but the attentiveness of the waiter and good ambiance makes up for the price of each meal.

Food was okay, the paella negra were great, the lengua was a bit oily and salty and need to be blend with the mash potato. The steak was cooked medium rare but a little bit chewy and the tomato sauce overpower the taste of meat. The ambiance was cool and cozy, great place for romantic date, meetings and family celebrations.
Carol A — Google review
Mostly good, except that it's a hit or miss affair - I was served food that looked steaming hot like freshly cooked but the ingredients is mixed with food that seemed out of the fridge because the inside part of the chicken is cold and raw. It is steaming because the hot sauce was simply mixed with the cold chicken. I sent it back for further cooking and it went OK the second time around but it should have been right the first time. Signs that there is sloppy work in the kitchen.

Despite being on soft opening, the Balmori branch delivered excellent food and attentive service. The fine-dining restaurant presents elegantly crafted dishes that are both visually appealing and delicious, making it a top choice for a memorable dining experience.
A solid spot if you’re looking for something a little different from the usual Italian. Everything we ordered was well presented and tasted good. The space is comfortable with luxe interiors. Service was A+ — the staff were attentive and personable.

Ordered the mushroom soup, salmon roe & prosciutto barquillos, entrecôte, sea bass fillet, and lobster & prawn roll for 2 pax — sounds like a lot, but we finished everything! Everything was delicious, but I feel the dishes are a bit too pricey, as our bill came out to 8k+ for all those plus 2 glasses of wine. Can probably skip the steak & the lobster roll in my opinion. What I will say, though, is that the service was amazing! Servers were very attentive & even offered to take our photo :) The place is also very cozy — it’s a great vibe for a date or an intimate dinner with friends.

The food was also really yum! We liked the spinach pasta the best (wasn’t able to picture since we were excited to eat.) Good date place or a place to eat out with family or friends! We dined on a Sunday lunch and it was delicious. My only caveat is that although the place itself is air conditioned, it remained hot and they had to put out multiple low-noise fans. Hope they fix it soon. On the brighter side, when you start eating, the taste and presentation makes you forget about the ambience.

I recently visited Lusso Rockwell , and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delightful, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's creativity and skill. What truly stood out was the friendly staff. If you're hesitant about diving into Arabic cuisine, Mister Kabab is the perfect introduction. Nestled in popular malls, this eatery boasts a straightforward menu that makes it easy to explore Middle Eastern flavors. Indulge in their signature dishes like the beef chelo kabab, keema with eggplant, and sizzling lamb chop—each crafted to suit Filipino tastes while retaining authentic spices.
Have you ever sat in a restaurant and thought about the interior design? Well, I was mesmerized by the blue painted walls inside Mister Kebab. I mean the lamb kabab that I ordered was very delicious. I'm a sucker for lamb! I also ordered pita bread and it was wholesome. The experience felt like I was a foreign merchant dining in the Sasanian Empire of ancient Persia.

A charming Middle Eastern ambiance, Mr Kebab has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The shawarma is packed with beef. Meat is a little bit dry though, so we liberally drizzled it with flavorful garlic sauce to our heart's content. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent assistance with the menu selection. The place is adorned with Middle Eastern decor touches. Overall, it is a delightful dining experience.

Although it's my first time to dine in at their branch in Fisher Mall, Quezon city, I've been a customer of Mr. Kabab since I was in college (so about 20 years now?) Originally in West Ave., the go-to restaurant for all your Middle Eastern cuisine fixes. Food is great! Ambience might be a bit quirky and may take some time getting used to. Their meats are always seasoned and cooked well and the butter rice - while may just be a simple staple - is always filling and worth it (always large portions!) Speaking of their rice - it's always consistent even in different branches. Most of the time, overlooked by most customers, but I am always satisfied with their rice servings as they get the texture just right (not too "wet" and watery, and not too dry or "buhaghag" that it falls apart easily). 10/10 will always go and dine hereto get my Middle Eastern cuisine cravings satisfied!

Staff seemed overwhelmed with the crowd. Some customers were bringing their payments and take out to the counters themselves. Our sauces and plates needed ffups. But.. . Food is good though. Love the biryani. Fast kitchen. Food is out right away. Senior discount well computed. Will be back
Simon M — Google review
Highly recommended the Sizzling Lamb Chop, beef korma, shrimp korma especially lamb Korma. I also love their garlic and hot sauce. I put equal amount of each to my sizzling lamb chop. Perfect!
Lei — Google review
Food and drink prices differ a bit from that of the West Avenue branch. There was a funny taste for the Biryani rice (priced at 135 pesos) with a very bitter taste and after-taste. Basmati is good, nicely cooked along with our order of the mixed grill. The side order of 🌰 grilled onion is 100 pesos. Soda at 70 pesos. Soso experience with a tab. My review is a price centric one, perhaps for dinera to consider or reconsider spending 400 to 500 pesos per head.
Elmo B — Google review
Food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We ordered the Beef Special Chelo Kabab and mixed special choice of beef and chicken (double). It was delicious with the ample amount of meat serving. The rice came with butter and grilled tomatoes which complimented the meat perfectly. Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It is located inside Fishermall (3rd floor) with sufficient tables and chairs for diners. Considering with came on a Sunday during dinnertime the waiting time was very minimal. Service: 🌟🌟🌟 The service from the staff definitely has room for improvement. It was my Mr Kabab experience and I was disappointed from the moment we took our seats, no one from the staff gave us a menu. Once we gave out our orders the food came in within a few minutes. When we payed the bill it took almost 10 minutes just for the receipt. Overall, if you are in for a good tasting kabab, Mr. Kabab should be on your list
Gary R — Google review
The special chicken basmati is nice and generously portioned. The rice is fragrant, cooked right and nicely flavored while the chicken portion is big and juicy. The grilled tomato is well, a grilled tomato, nothing to gush over. The crushed ice in the yogurt makes no sense and is weird and the flavor taste like store bought. Overall, mister kabab makes great kabab.

Pancake House stands out as a beloved homegrown diner in the Philippines, characterized by its vibrant orange and white decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. This popular eatery is known for its timeless signature dishes, making it a go-to spot for many who often know their orders before even sitting down. Whether you're indulging in their all-you-can-eat weekend offerings or savoring delicious chicken nuggets made from pure chicken, there's something for everyone.
Tried this restaurant and turn out to be good. They dont just sell pancake waffle but also main course. I tried heir beef tapa and it’s soo gooooood. The ambience also feel calm and nice. I like to have late lunch on weekend here.

Having had 2 bad experiences with other branches and their so-so food, we went to Pancake House Sct. Tuason branch with very low expectations, and we're pleasantly surprised by the experience. Pros: 1. The location and vibes were amazing. Sharing a chill garden compound with Max's Restaurant, it was a great place to chill. You never knew such a cool corner exists in the middle of South Triangle. 2. The best part of our dining experience was the food. We didn't realize Pancake House offers so much more than pancakes and the likes. We ordered a lot, and these are some of the highlights: A. Mushroom soup P109 was superb. I could probably finish 3 bowls if given a chance. Even the garlic bread was delicious! B. The Chicken Parmigiana P309 was also amazing. But we didn't like the herbed pasta that was partnered with it as it was dry and a little bland. I'd go for rice next time. C. The Smoked Golden Tinapa P439 was also great. D. Tuna Sandwich P249 was ok, too. E. We loved the Original Chicken Burger Jr. P129 but it was so small we gulped it in just a few bites. We would order bigger sized - Regular P189 or Jumbo House Burger P389 next time F. My son loved the Classic Baked Mac P289 G. As well as the House Special Set A P399, which already has the super refreshing Tacos, spaghetti with meat sauce and 1pc pan chicken which are both tasty. It comes with iced tea and a small brownie bite. H. Also loved the Cucumber lemonade P99 and the hot chocolate P159. My son was having about his chocolate Milkshake P149 I. Ironically, we didn't like the French toast. It was a little tough and just so ordinary. I've made better tasting ones. 3. We took advantage of BDO 40% off promo for minimum order of P2500. Saved P1k! Original prices are on the higher side so this promo sure got us reacquainted with Pancake House. 4. The shared comfort rooms by the various restaurants was huge, clean and just sophisticated looking. No tissues though. 5. Limited parking which is a common problem in South Triangle area. 6. Because of the garden, expect some bugs going inside the restaurant. 7. Fast service. Considering how much food we ordered and the kitchen is on the other side of the compound beside Max's, they sure prepare those food fast but great
Ariel B — Google review
Service was slow. It took them a while to give out our orders and blamed it since it was the "pancake creations" and it was difficult to make. They also did not give us service water
David D — Google review
Dine here here around 11am. We had their weekend all you can. We like their chicken nuggets pure chicken. The tacos is also good. The pasta sauce is bit salty for the 1st order. Service is ok,but need patience when waiting bcoz their kitchen is outside their resto.
Victor Y — Google review
The same old Pancake House standard for food and beverage. Good service, with very attentive staff. Covered parking space is available around the back. Complete with PWD ramps and outdoor seating.
Evelyn Y — Google review
Bring a lot of patience with you because this is by far one of the slowest dining experiences I’ve ever gone through. Took an hour to serve our food after several follow ups that went nowhere. It might be that they are understaffed or the current employees are overworked so I can give them the benefit of the doubt. But the poor quality of service, relative lack of professionalism, and overall unpleasant dining experience take away from what would’ve been a great location. The food was so-so, but since it took so long, we have already lost our appetites. In short, not recommended unless you go in expecting an hour of wait time and an indifferent attitude from the waitstaff.
Jonah K — Google review
I love their al fresco area. Their staff are friendly and accommodating. One of my favorite branches of Pancake House. They have lots of parking slots and the place is PWD friendly. They have lots of options and they also offer different meal deals. One thing I noticed is there are mosquitoes everywhere.
Era T — Google review
I like that you can dine alfresco here under their garden. The downside is you can hear their huge kitchen exhaust fans. If you are craving for Pancake House for breakfast in this cool February morning, this is the place to be. If you are looking for the Pancake House in Morato, this is where they relocated. The indoor dining used to be one of Max's function rooms.

Pancake restaurant
Pancake House is a beloved staple in the Philippines, often regarded as the country's version of a classic diner. With its signature orange and white decor, this cozy eatery serves up an array of American breakfast favorites that have become timeless classics. While their pancakes are certainly a highlight, don’t overlook their Beef Tapa—thinly sliced and incredibly tender, it’s perfect for those who appreciate a delicious twist on traditional tapsilog.
Consistently good — just like most Pancake House branches I’ve been to. The food is great, and the service good. You can tell the staff are doing their best, and they’re doing an amazing job. 🙌🏻
Franchesca G — Google review
Okay food. More chances to improve service. Arrived at around 9:45am on a Sunday. Pancake house has a lot of customers. Had to queue, first in line and wait for around 10-15mins to be seated for 4pax. However, I’ve noticed there was another group ~4pax accommodated before us. Not sure if they cut in line. Placed us in an awkward table with a beam dividing our group (see pic) despite seeing other long tables left unfilled during our whole stay. Once another table was available, we asked to move. The staff were somewhat attentive to our needs. Food arrived in less than 20mins compared to what they have told us *after* ordering. Good food. However, chicken size/portion seemed smaller than usual. Great coffee by yardstick.
Anna V — Google review
Pancakes are good. Other food is also good (I like the tapa) but unfortunately the amount of food per dish is not enough personally for the price. Service was okay, not great but not bad. They forgot some small requests and took several times pressing the bell (we sat outside) to get service.
Kristoff I — Google review
The atmosphere in the store was relaxing. The light snacks, such as waffles, were simple and average.
Es E — Google review
I just ordered a take-away pancake for one person, but it took 30 mins for it to arrive. I understand that there were many people having brunch and it was tough for the staff as well. Given that I just ordered take-out, I volunteered to go to the counter to pay to save time and effort on their part. When I asked a staff, she was a bit frowning, totally not accommodating and I felt like a bother. Anyway she still directed me to where I should pay. The branch manager was taking care of the bills, and she was cranky to both the staff assisting her and me. Food was good but if the service crew is like this, many people would opt to skip this branch after getting this experience so I hope the management should try to do better.
Jesrelle U — Google review
Orders took so long & staff kept forgetting our orders…. But food was good. Only downside is that a lot of our orders were missed so we had to keep making follow ups. Omelette was the easiest order and yet it was the last one to arrive.

Elbert's Collective is a unique dining concept that brings together four of Elbert Cuenca's previous and current ventures: Elberts Steak Room, Elberts Diner, Elberts Pizzeria, and Elberts Upstairs Bar. The restaurant features a multifaceted design with a mix of retro-cool and sleek elements.
They serve the most “unadulterated” cheesesteak in the Metro (I am not in any way a chef or a cook so my opinion is purely based on my love for cheesesteaks… 😂). Tender beef, succulent onion & provolone cheese… just right! They had the coolest & cleanest bathroom with a bidet. Sorry I had to mention it. 😅

Beef salpicao caught my eye when I checked the menu. I have always loved it from different restau/bar, but this one disappointed me. Beef is not tender, not even cooked enough, you can hear the sound of that undercooked meat when you bite it. I'm not the type to complain especially I was with a friend and doesn't want to look demanding and a whiner. If someone checked on us and asked how's our food, I might have the chance to give feedback about it, but they might have forgotten. Ravioli and Amatriciana are good though, just very thick pasta, but taste okay. Servers are nice though.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered the carbonara, Diabola pizza, and a cocktail called the Cardinal—all tasted excellent, with good quality and attention to detail. The service was warm and attentive, with staff checking in at just the right times, which made the whole meal comfortable. The place had a stylish, welcoming vibe that felt both relaxing and unique—a perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends. I’d definitely come back for the well-prepared food, thoughtful service, and great atmosphere.

We went here for a midnight snack. The food was satisfying enough but I felt it lacked some flavor. The presentation of the food is nice though. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with great service. The dish that I liked the most was the truffle mushroom grilled cheese sandwich.

Liked it! This place is across from the famous Crosta pizzeria in Salcedo village, so if it's full of customers there, this is not a bad place to go to. Pizza is good! Not crazy good, but their Pizza napoletana checks all the boxes! ✅ Good taste ✅ Good texture ✅ Good mouthfeel ✅ Reasonable price Will come back again! EDIT: I didn't immediately realize that Elbert's Pizzeria was one of (if not the) first in Manila that served Pizza Napolitana. What a gem!

✅ Pros: 1. Kinda cute place ❌ Cons: 1. Never liked how the vibe of the staffs are "forced to accommodate" and definitely they gave us an impression of they didn't like working in this place. 2. Food is mediocre at its best. I give high praise when it's really authentic italian but it's nowhere near authentic. Rating: 🌟🌟 Remarks: There's one female waitress wearing glasses named Angel. dutied on a Saturday, 2:30PM, January 25. Extremely unpleasant. Glares at you in a non-friendly way as if she didn't wanna do her job. Me and my mother got that vibe. Food improvement: perhaps get inspirations from other legitimate authentic italian restaurants. Educate the staffs what is "Fresh Pasta" review the chefs on duty if theyre really executing the original quality.

Back in 2022, my bf and I were craving pizza and decided to go to Crosta (oops hahaha). We were starving and the line was way too long and noticed Elbert’s Pizza just across the street. We gave it a shot and ordered a bolognese pasta, cheese pizza, and diavola pizza. We were so shocked about how good the diavola pizza was, though it’s not as spicy anymore haha, and planned to go back the following week. We were going to make a reservation but learned that they had closed down & will be renovating for the next few months. We were extra bummed out because we had one of the best pizzas, but have to wait over half a year to have it again. Best believe the second it reopened as “Elbert’s Collective”, we headed straight there. Elbert’s has been our go-to date place ever since. We always order one diavola pizza and a ravioli di ricotta e spinachi pasta which is cooked in a brown butter sage sauce. Always excited to go back ❤️ (though I wish they served steaks too haha)

Bombvinos Bodega is a popular spot in Metro Manila, offering an extensive selection of natural wines, sake, tequila, cocktails, and neo-Filipino bistro fare by chef Don Baldosano. The warm and inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for any occasion, including private events. This small but mighty movement led by Joey Osmena aims to bring natural wine to the area.
Had a wonderful intimate dinner with friends here! The reservation process was smooth and responsive, and the food was full of interesting flavors—everything we ordered was consistently delicious. Cocktails were great too! Service was excellent, with the staff explaining each dish and its preparation. I’m already mentally set on celebrating my birthday here! Didn’t take many photos, but that just means I was too busy enjoying the experience. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there are nearby options. Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd time at Bombvinos Bodega, and I went with my family this time. Really wanted to come back — it’s just that good. We also got to try their new dessert — the Mangga Crumble Pie — and it was amazing. Such a unique twist on a classic 🩷 Service was also great. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome. Ms. Anika was super helpful and recommended some off-menu dishes. Every single dish was so creative and packed with flavor. You can really tell how much thought and passion goes into their food. Highly recommend visiting (and asking for Ms. Anika and Sir Darwin). I’d go back here again and again — definitely one of my favorite spots now.

All entrees that we ordered were extraordinary! Each dish was curated with a unique taste! Very innovative!! It was also my first time trying out "Natural wine", healthier version! They got a great selection of white and red natural wines from different countries. They have chilled ones too if you want to consume it while dining in. I also tried their dirty horchata (not in the photos), which has the perfect sweetness with a caffeine kick! They also make their own rice milk for that! I recommend making a reservation since they only have a cute/tiny cafe/restaurant with mezzanine. The ambiance was great, especially on the 1st floor. Picture perfect with the wine shelf!

I really love the creativity on the Filipino ingredients. Food is definitely bomb. Service is really good, staff is so professional, warm, and thoughtful. This couldve been perfect if the tables are not small. The space can get rowdy and cluttered.

The menu is very creative! The team at Bombvinos is generally innovative and full of ideas. Although I didn't try the drinks, I found the food to be good. It's a small place, but it's still a great spot to enjoy with friends. My friends also enjoyed their drinks. Kudos to the team for bringing vibrancy back to that street! ✨🤍

easily one of the best places for me in the area i’d gladly recommend to friends. the vibe along with the music, the food, and the location somewhat away from the rest of the restaurants is perfect. though tbh, i’m not sure if i didn’t get to notice lots of establishments in the area apart from the zone because it was raining the time i went with a friend haha. we initially only wanted to chill for 2 hours but ended up there for 4 hours straight. they have a concentrated food menu, i imagine everything tastes great cause what we already had as it is were very satisfactory: •keso chichirya — i mistakenly read this for chicharon lol, but the potatoes and straciatella cheese combo was good and satisfying •lumpia of banana heart — this is named so specifically hahahah but i appreciate it as i love the veggie used, it comes with vinegar granita and a sweet potato puree •insalada ni cesar — we enjoyed this a lot as we were trying to deconstruct and pin point what makes it so filipino vs the traditional caesar salad hence the name. it’s actually named so cleverly. instead of anchovies, they use dilis in this and a good sauce that somewhat reminded us of buro. •crispy fish sandwich — we added ikura to this, purely optional. it also comes with a side of fried potatoes with a generous sprinkle of seaweed. at the time we ordered, it may just be specifically this batch order (?) but sans the ikura, the fish batter on its own was a bit too salty. it was still good and appreciate that the fish used was firm on the inside coated with the perfect crisp, though when i come back i’m gonna have to try it again just to check. •leche flan soft serve — this tasted more like a good caramel scoop, perfectly creamy with sugar shards and edible flowers. we enjoyed this! •chicken pares — was also good. only got this cause we were served free drinks from bombvinos saturday birthday, as i didn’t wanna run on an empty stomach and drink. it comes with a few pieces of chicken skin, soft boiled egg, pares sauce you can generously drizzle on your plate as you want, and their spicy b! chili garlic and this one does come out with a solid kick! •b!day kalabasa french toast — so since we came through during their celebration, we got this too! it was just the right serving of their soft and good textured toast on a bed of kalabasa puree topped with frozen whip. •but i’m chai — got one of their signature non-alcoholic drinks and from the description on the menu, i was convinced it was gonna be good and it was! tasted smooth with a tea base and reminiscent for me of cherry since they did use singkamas here. •tinto de pacifico — friend ordered this mainly, but was also a good glass of red wine citrusy mix. •bang bang — we also got compli glasses and shots as we were there a while. they really do their drinks well. this one’s their take on the classic weng weng, which brings me back to my college days haha! later on my friend also got bottles of wines to go. the staff were overall helpful with our queries throughout our stay and very knowledgeable about the natural wines they offer as well as pairings to go with it. they would also ask feedback, which i appreciate. we were by the bar, so we also saw lots of interesting drinks being made that i’ll go back for like the caffe martini.

After a fun-filled day at the Mind Museum, if you're feeling peckish, make your way to Stacy's for a delightful dining experience. This charming eatery serves up creative twists on classic American diner fare alongside comforting home-cooked dishes. The best part? Breakfast is available all day long! Stacy's boasts an inviting 60s-inspired ambiance that perfectly complements its affordable menu, making it a cozy spot in bustling BGC.
Food 5/5 - Great food, the price and serving is much like banapple but upgraded and more presentable, the twist goes with the restaurant's interior design. Good colors! (The milkshake is a must try. Love it!) Service 4/5 - Nothing much to say. The serving time's quite slow. Price 5/5 - Price matched the food served, you may even think that it's priced much lower than what you paid for but I wish they would keep this price point. Ambiance 5/5 - I can confidently say I enjoyed the colors and the design of the place, though the restau's small but it didn't shy away for you to feel quite homey and living from the past. Kids will also love this place as they have a small area where kids can play and eat at the same time a very nice touch.

Really love this place’s 60s vibe and prices are very much affordable considering its location in BGC. It’s very homey and comfy. The food was great, their nachos were my favorite! You gotta try that when you go here. They give free complimentary knick knacks which were so cute, a glass of pretzels, marshmallows, and buttered popcorn. The staff are also very nice and accommodating. Will definitely visit again!

Whistlestop Valero, formerly known for its friendly green and red decor, has transformed into a sophisticated black and white nighttime haunt. Despite the change in ambiance, the menu remains unchanged with all-time favorites still dominating the list of dishes. It's a great spot for drinks, but surprisingly, the food is also decent. The venue is perfect for enjoying drinks with friends in a small group. The restaurant offers a variety of options on both their drink and food menus.
Cozy place in the middle of the business district where workmates can unwind regularly amidst the daily grind. The place is walkable from most locations. Limited street parking is available although it being located in Makati, best to walk or take public transport, especially after having a few drinks.

Including cheap sparkling water and miniature liquor bottles that are as tall as est a regular mug (that are great as gifts for loved ones) -They did not overprice and prices are relatively lower than the other stores in the city -They accept credit and debit cards that have Visa or Mastercard logo (even if at first I thought they didn’t) -And the staff are really nice and helpful. So if you feel overwhelmed with the choices, just ask them to help you out

Liquor shop in Market Market BGC. Good quality selections. Prices are good. Worth a visit
Jessie J — Google review
A great selection of well priced beer, wine, ciders and spirits from across the world. Some of the best prices around. It's a shame there is no curbside pick up as it can take 20 minutes to get a slot at Market Market parking next door.
