I can describe it as one of the best places to visit in Umeå if you like good coffee, cakes and other bakery items. It is also a good place for a quick snack as there are a lot of sandwiches and savoury options. The place is good for get-togethers as well as business talks. Nice ambience. Highly recommended.

The place is spread across two floors, and many people opt to go to the second floor as it offers more seating, including some chairs with access to a balcony. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have a sweet tooth. I ordered a slice of cheesecake, while my friends went for something with pistachio and a French chocolate cake. All of them were truly delicious. For coffee and tea, there was a designated table where you could serve yourself (just remember to order them at the counter first, haha). My friends were able to refill their coffee. Personally, I went for a cup of green tea, and I must say, the tea was both really good and aromatic. The café boasts a cozy atmosphere, with a style reminiscent of old European seating. My time spent here during a coffee break was delightful. I'm definitely planning to come again the next time I'm in Umeå.

I bought a chocolate cake for our Eid last year and it was very delicious and tasty. I feel price was little high but when u got such a lovely and yummy cake you feel that your money is not wasted. Staff was very nice and dealt very professionally which was nice. A good cake shop in town.

One of my fav places in Umeå, it has wonderful kanelbulle which is my absolut fav dessert here. They also have some good pizza as well, their bread also stunning to have😋. The only down side is the coffee, it's not up to my standard, at least it's not as good as costas's one. Overall it's still the place that I will visit regularly.

Nice little lunch/fika place in Umeå centre. I liked the location with the high ceilings and lots of natural light. Good selection of pastries and I saw others getting food. It was quiet enough to sit and read. Coffee was good but the latte was too much milk for me - Umeå needs to get on the "flat white" train!

I love the concept of this building, bringing together food and books, with a fantastic selection of bakery, café, Restaurants and bars and the national library sitting one floor above. This bakery offers breakfast to the guests of the hotel (also located in the same building) but it is also open to the general public, for a delicious buffet including waffles! I had an incredibly good cinnamon bun and enjoyed my coffee too! In the evening, I saw many guests eating what looked like a delicious pizza but I did not have the chance To try it! I mean it; the floral notes of coffee in the air felt like they were calling my name, tiptoeing through the breeze straight to my soul. Then the real magic began: The owner turned out to be Greek; and let me tell you, we Turkish people do have a soft spot for our Greek neighbours. There’s something incredibly heartwarming and familiar about their presence; like cousins you grew up fighting and laughing with, in the best way. He spoke several languages, which added a beautiful kind of hospitality to the space; where you feel seen, even in silence. And then… a Swedish gentleman (yes, a Swedish gentleman in a Greek-owned café in the middle of this accidental journey; the universe knows how to set a scene). He didn’t just serve coffee; he taught me how to re-make and re-consume it. Turkish/Greek coffee, but in an unorthodox way: with lightly roasted beans, less bitterness, more smoothness. It was like watching tradition get a gentle rewrite; one that made the coffee easier to digest but harder to forget. To everyone there: I miss you already. You turned a random, chaotic day into something quietly cinematic. Thank you for the unexpected magic. 💖🧿

A very small and cozy place that can be a bit hard to find. Once there though, you are rewarded with a nice and friendly atmosphere coupled with tons of coffee expertise. Asking for recommendations is encouraged and will probably result in a better experience. The espresso made from single origin beans from Ethiopia was by far the best in town for someone who is interested in specialty coffee. Highly recommended.

There's also some hazelnut in there, with pieces of hazelnut on the top of the cream, which probably helped dampen the vanilla taste - but also added to the sweetness.The Mocha was really bitter and dark as it should be, with a rich chocolate flavor! For eatings I've had a bagel (brie/salami) and plain sandwich (ham/cheese) and I was very happy to see that the sandwich came with both white AND dark bread! Much tasty, very hap. Full five stars for having such a good selection of vegan, gluten free and lactos free stuff! I do wish that there was more to the cakes than just the ordinary "kladdkaka" and cheesecake, especially on the vegan side (only kladdkaka from what I could see on two separate visits). Definitely recommend this place if you're after a nice fika and enjoy coffee drinks, will be sure to try out the regular (brew) coffee some day and update my review with what I thought of it.
