Rixy's Cotswold Tearoom, located on the High Street, is a charming stop for a delightful homemade breakfast and lunch experience. The tearoom offers an array of delectable options including Full English breakfast, American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, as well as gluten-free cakes and scones. Visitors can also indulge in a scrumptious afternoon tea featuring tasty sandwiches, soft and fresh bread, heavenly scones, and delicious cakes.
This was our first visit to the Cotswolds and we wanted to get the full authentic afternoon tea experience as we've never had it before and let me tell you booking at Rixy's was the best choice we could have made! The afternoon tea had to be ordered and paid for in advance because they are making the food fresh to order which I think is fantastic! When we arrived, we had a really warm welcome and the staff were so friendly. There was basically no wait to have our drinks order taken and the food arrived promptly after. In terms of the food, this place is such a treat! The afternoon tea here was divine. Everything was freshly baked, the ingredients they used were extremely fresh and the food tasted amazing, I honestly wouldn't change a thing. I would highly recommend coming here for afternoon tea or even lunch when you get a chance, you will not regret it!

We went here twice for breakfast. The only reason we didn't go three times was because we had to be on the train before it opened. We were impressed with the gluten-free options. There were several guests who had their dogs. The coffee, tea, and the main dishes were all wonderful!
Valerie J — Google review
Nice, cozy tearoom. The quiche and avocado on sourdough we ordered were fresh and tasty. The flat while coffee was great. All served in a welcoming atmosphere.
Shahid J — Google review
Visited today having been gifted a voucher for afternoon tea, and it didn’t disappoint! A super friendly welcome, our table already reserved with water on hand. Our drinks order was taken, and swiftly arrived at our table. Then the main event, possibly the best afternoon tea we’ve ever tasted. Unbelievably fresh ingredients, the flavours were out of this world. Honestly, if you’re looking for afternoon tea, or even a good breakfast or lunch, in the Cotswolds, look no further! Thank you all at Rixy’s for a true 5 star experience.
Mark H — Google review
We sat in the cute garden. The gluten-free scones were so good! A choice of plain, fruited or savoury with jam and clotted cream. The price for 2 scones included coffee or tea, and was very reasonable. Will be back as we're local and there were plenty of gluten - free options. Friendly people working there too. 😊
Karen T — Google review
Lovely place with great lunch and sweets! Everything we ordered is super lovely, scone served nice and warm. We love the Avocado, mushroom on sourdough a lot. The special menu of the day served the apple crumble which is nice and not too sweet! Will come back again for the afternoon tea!
Kate L — Google review
Had a delicious cream tea here. Everything thing tasted great and it’s well worth visiting if you’re in the area although you should definitely pre book as it’s quite popular. The staff were friendly and went the extra mile as I have a serious allergy. Sandwich’s were delicately made and yummy as well as the selection of cakes. Highly recommend
Thomas J — Google review
Tried this café recently and had mixed feelings. The food was tasty and the service was genuinely excellent—friendly and attentive throughout. Their white mocha is a standout and definitely worth trying. However, there was a serious issue with the gluten-free labeling. I ordered a “gluten-free breakfast” which came with regular gluten bread. This could be dangerous for anyone with a gluten allergy or coeliac disease. When asked, staff didn’t seem fully aware of the risk. If you require a strict gluten-free diet, I’d recommend avoiding until they clarify their menu and kitchen practices. The space is also quite small, and when a couple of people brought in dogs, it quickly became cramped. Cozy, yes—but not ideal during busy periods especially with a couple of wet dogs in the space . A great café for coffee lovers without dietary restrictions, but disappointing (and potentially harmful) for those who need gluten-free options.

Today, I had a planned bike ride and decided to include a visit to the highly regarded cafe Grouch Coffee. This cafe is known for its excellent coffee and delicious cakes, both of which are an essential part of any cycling adventure. The staff at Grouch Coffee were not only welcoming but also showed a great sense of humor. They served top-notch coffee and had a wide range of tasty treats, many of which were gluten-free.
Came across this last year because we needed coffee and breakfast super early morn and we were DELIGHTED to have found this place. The coffee is BANGING. Cakes look delicious. LOVE THE GRANOLA BOWLS. The owner is super friendly, I think Kelly is her name (sorry if that’s wrong!) Have recommended to many colleagues who work here in the summer months and they also love it!!
Amanda W — Google review
There are a lot of good coffee shops in the area, but this is my favorite. The cappuccinos are smooth and strong, just the way I like them. As stated on the sign outside, "this is the coffee you are lookiing for". Kelly, the Grouch, makes all the baked goodies fresh every morning and their breakfast muffin was delicious. The first thing that hit me when I walked in was the vibe. Leon Bridges was playing over the speakers, the place was cozy and intimate, and Kelly was naturally welcoming to me and everyone else. Great spot! Try it out!
Terry D — Google review
My family (four of us) stopped in for coffee, tea, and breakfast on our trip across the U.K. The service was exceptional and the menu offered a generous number of delicious gluten free options. This coffee shop may be tiny, but it is mighty charming and leaves you with a loving sense of community.
Jessica W — Google review
A lovely location with great coffee and food. Definitely recommend the banana bread! The ladies working there (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names) were so nice and welcoming. A great place for breakfast, brunch or a quick coffee stop.
Sorcha M — Google review
The quality of the coffee here is next level, easily as good as the great cafes I've been to in London, Sydney and Melbourne. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I'd travel a long way to visit here again. If you're wanting more than coffee, there are lovely muffins and other cakes, but the owners wisely keep the menu very limited so that they can focus on what they do best.
Bryn J — Google review
One of the best coffee shops I've been to in the UK. Very friendly service and the coffee is spot on. All items are made from scratch and are fresh. I would highly recommend this place.

Popped in Saturday morning 24-06-23 with the wife. The coffee was next level, I love a nice coffee, I had "The James" Ham, cheese and marmite toastie, it was delicious. The place itself is very clean and tidy and there is a very friendly atmosphere in here. Highly recommended.

Bakery
Coffee shop
Otis & Belle is an artisan bakery and patisserie where Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef and owner, Will Alexander, bakes fresh goods daily. The establishment exudes a sense of love and attention in all their baked creations. Its name pays homage to the chef's two children. This quaint cafe surprises customers with its extended closing time until 3 pm, allowing patrons more leisure to savor their delectable treats over fika.
Stopped off for a quick bite. Ended up staying longer.... Amazing! Fabulous friendly service. New york deli sarnie was out of this world. Such a great vibe.

It's just a shame they don't do cooked food! The pastries we tried (both sweet and savoury) were both fantastic. The coffees were great and the lady serving us was incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend

We called by the Cheltenham bakery, served by lovely Liam who was passionate about the produce. The sourdough loaf is literally the best bread I’ve ever tasted! Thank you Liam, we will be back!

Fantastic chocolate orange croissant, looks amazing and tastes even better!
Anna D — Google review
Superb little bakery… had the BEST croissants and cinnamon rolls here. Coffee good, staff excellent (helped me rescue a bee). Small little place but what a great find. Someone doing it properly and how it should be done. Nicely done guys. Ps: I read a review saying this place is expensive. It’s not. This is a bakery doing it properly, small batch, with fine ingredients, taking their time and probably trying to ensure they pay their staff a decent wage, pay the rent etc too. If you want a cheap mass produced, croissant that is full of flavourings and things that ensure it lasts 4 years whilst bearing no resemblance to an actual croissant; go to a supermarket and feel proud of your £1 saving. If you want something beautifully crafted with brilliant ingredients that is, in no way comparable, go here. Can’t believe people would compare the two. (Note : pictures don’t do the items justice)
Nick P — Google review
we were looking forward to have breakfast here a couple of times during our stay. the coffee and cinnamon roll were very good but why do you serve them in a paper bag/ plastic cup, with lid and straw if people eat/drink at your place? we will not come back due to this, it is crazy to how much waste this leads
Aline — Google review
Nice little cafe, it said on the door and here on google maps that they were closing at 2 but when we arrived they mentioned that they close at 3, a good surprise to us due to we got some more time to enjoy our fika. We had a coffee which was good and the Pain aux raisin that was really good, the cinnamon bun I did not enjoy that much (could be my Swedish heritage) but I think it was too fluffy and didn’t have that nice buttery taste that I’m after in a cinnamon bun. But in total a nice visit.

Lynwood & Co in Moreton-in-Marsh is a spacious and bright cafe located in a pleasant part of town. Visitors have praised the delicious salted caramel brownie, oat latte, and pastries. The staff has been described as incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The coffee and light bites have been recommended for their taste, with particular highlights being the cinnamon beat paws.
After a lovely stroll from Blockley, stopped in at Lynwood to refuel for the return leg. Service was quick, informative (approx wait on food), and when the food arrived, it was absolutely delicious (as where the matcha latte's). Sat outside and watched the world go by, perfect pitstop.

It was all going so well. Nice bit of playful banter as I walked in, friendly proprietor and staff. Ordered my latte, took a seat. Seemed to be a popular venue for all the grockles in the area, couple of peeps working on laptops nursing the dregs of the beverage they bought an hour and a half ago. Happy 😃 smiling faces throughout Lynwood and Co. Then it happened............ they brought me my coffee....... in a glass. The swirly was there but it......... was in a glass. The saucer was fine..... it wasn't made of glass. Extremely nice coffee though, they came so close to a full house of stars 🌟.

Right in the heart of Moreton, and its a nice place to visit, I was on a motorcycle, and you can park right outside or within close quarters anyways. I visited on Friday 19th at about 14:00. Plenty of seating, inside and out. The lady on the till was welcoming and pleasant to talk with. I only had a drink and a custard bun, which was nice enough, and the food that was being brought out to other customers, looked very nice.
Andy S — Google review
What’s better than a delicious cup of hot chocolate on the onset of spring ? This cafe serves one of the most delicious hot chocolate in Cotswold. Felt warm and nice after drinking the regular cup of hot chocolate. They’ve great breakfast options and also lot of drinks. I remember seeing a couple of doggos around. Must be a dog friendly restaurant 😉Servive was great!
Sushmita K — Google review
I have been visiting this establishment daily for morning coffee over the past month and have always received excellent service. However, on my most recent visit to purchase takeaway lunch, I was disappointed by the conduct of the two young female staff members on duty. Their attitude towards my family was unprofessional and came across as quite rude. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to reconsider returning. I would encourage management to focus on improving customer service training to ensure all staff maintain the high standard I have previously experienced here.
Annabelle R — Google review
Our food was so unexpectedly poor that I made an exception to post a negative review. The shakshuka was served with an almost raw egg; we sent it back and it returned a few minutes later rubbery. We assume it was microwaved rather than placed back in the oven, thereby ruining what might have been a decent dish. I ordered avocado on toast with feta and mushrooms, which was literally that. A sliced avocado and a separate pile of feta on impossibly hard-to-cut toast. A meager sprinkling of a herb mix on the avo, and cold mushrooms on the side. It was utterly bland and completely lacking in imagination. A child could do better - mine could while still at primary school! On a more positive note, the French toast was quite good. The staff were friendly and comped us a coffee for the shakshuka, but our experience suggests a lack of care and interest in the kitchen, that day at least.

Lovely coffee, great for remote working. Had a salad which was delicious and cheap!
Ramona Z — Google review
The scrambled eggs were very good, but that’s about it. We went on Saturday morning before the Moreton fair, and the two women serving us were really unfriendly. I caught the blonde one making the coffee roll her eyes at us when we asked about the salads which made me feel VERY uncomfortable. I wanted a takeaway salad but they were left out on the counter and looked so dry and with people standing right over them, talking, it seemed quite unhygienic so I decided against it in the end. It was quiet, but most tables were full of dirty plates. When I asked if someone could clear a table, the same lady said, “we’ll get to it when we can,” while the staff just stood around chatting. Both coffees were awful. The flat white had more foam than a cappuccino, and my latte was weirdly bubbly on top (I've never seen a coffee like that before) and it was so bitter I couldn’t drink it. The scrambled eggs were the only good thing, but we won’t be coming back. It's extremely overpriced for a very average cafe with bad customer service.

What a lovely little cafe in a brilliant cycle shop. The food choice is excellent, wide range of sandwiches etc, they cater well for GF if you need it, great coffee, fantastic service and affordable pricing. The portions are generous and everyone is super friendly. We will be stopping next time we are in the area.

Working locally thought I'd give it a shot , ordered on line it was ready at the chosen pick up time . Paninis were so good , Chicken pesto and hunters chicken both well made hot and tasty . The biscoff flap jack was also good . It's located in a cycle shop , I'd recommend it if you're into bikes or not . I'll definitely be going back .

I’ve been coming to Revolution for over a year now and it is one of my favourite spots to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. Absolutely delicious coffee, fantastic variety of savoury and sweet food. Fantastic cafe, a real hidden gem. Excellent sandwiches and hot chocolate, and unbelievable cakes, with gluten-free options always available. Pleasant surroundings (if you're happy with a view of the classic bikes on the ceiling and being able to peek into the bike shop workshop) and fantastic, friendly staff. Full menu available 12-2pm on weekdays, with cakes and drinks all other times, plus (massive) sausage rolls on Saturdays and bacon sarnies on Sundays.

Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre is a 56-acre dog-friendly garden featuring an array of trees and shrubs from around the world. The site bursts into color in spring with snowdrops, daffodils, aconites, and daphnes creating a vibrant display. Visitors can even purchase snowdrops to take home.
First time visiting Batsford Arboretum in July and we really enjoyed it. The gift shop and garden centre has so much variety of plants and souvenirs. There is a dedicated picnic area where you can take your own food and drink which is a bonus. The garden itself is very well maintained, we really enjoyed the Japanese area. So much to see, we didn’t get to see all of it so we are planning on coming back soon. Would definitely recommend for a lovely day out.

Visited here during a weekday break to the Cotswolds in October advised to book in advance which with gift aid was £12 a ticket per head which for easily nearly 4 hours spent here is very well worth it 👍 there's plenty to see if you do the full walk with the trees this time of the year in all their glory of a riot of colour's most of the paths are hardstanding with a few steep inclines of softer ground but we took our elderly dog round in his buggy ok & there were a few disabled buggies getting around ok as well I'd say also brilliant for kids for an outdoor excursion with plenty of "off path" area's for them to explore & let some energy off in the fresh air also a large garden centre & restaurant here the restaurant having a very extensive menu at all reasonable prices with the food very very good quality the restaurant is,also dog friendly with a lovely outside verandah seating area sadly didn't get time to visit the old fashioned tool shed but I'll definitely do that next time we're back in the Cotswolds I'd like to see the Arboretum in spring as well with the blossom so would definitely visit again also a shout out to all the lovely staff 👏👏👏

Fantastic day out we went with kings norton coaches lovely to see the Anne Frank tree and all the other trees around however you can learn other things as well a truly fabulous day out. Toilets 🚻 in the centre all paths low and disabled accessible car parking in the yard free but pay to go in gardens around £10.90 each well worth it!

The arboretum is at its most colourful from September onwards when the leaves change colour. However, it is beautiful all year round. The design of the walks, statues, buildings etc makes it alway interesting. The restaurant serves quality freshly cooked breakfast and lunch while the shops acts as a garden centre and gift shop. Wonderful day in the cotswolds is almost guaranteed. One needs to buy in advance with an entry time to level out footfall and make entry smoother.

Large area to explore. Good car parking. Restaurant was very busy but good choice of food, although not much for GF diets or low carb. Many very established trees and shrubs including some giant Redwoods. The church was small but interesting. Barefoot House is private but it’s where the Mitford family lived for some time. You’re provided with a good map that shows the steeper trails. Seating provided in certain areas so you can have a breather and take in the tranquility. You could spend a day here easily.

Beautiful place. I visited in April when the magnolias and the cherry blossoms were in bloom. There is a large variety of both trees and other plants. There is a decent size cafe which sells a good variety of food and drinks and a shop which sells mainly garden items. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Cotswold Barn is a charming shop and cafe with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners, family, and staff are friendly, down-to-earth, and dedicated to providing an excellent experience for visitors. The food is fresh, delicious, and locally sourced. They serve comforting English breakfast dishes alongside a nice selection of cooked dishes and hot drinks at reasonable prices. The coffee is decent, and the portion sizes are generous.
Quite simply one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the full English breakfast. Harriet had the Eggs Benedict. All the ingredients were fresh and local and all beautifully presented. Being a bit greedy we also had a cake too - the orange and cranberry cake was freshly made and absolutely delicious. All the service was first class too, everyone was so friendly. A special mention to Caroline who served us and was so helpful and fun. Lastly I must mention the cleanliness. The whole place was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented which matters to us so much. Thank you, everyone we will definitely be back! 🙏🎉🥳👏

First time here and it was just lovely. Service was great and food was delicious. Lovely location and plenty of car parking. Upon arrival my wife and I were greeted with absolute joy and explained where we can sit, even offered multiple tables to sit. We looked through their small menu and ended up deciding on two apples juices and a slice of spiced pear and cranberry cake. Within minutes of ordering our drinks and cake arrived, the juices were lovely and cold. The cake is absolutely amazing, not over sweet but all the flavours bursting through with every bite and is incredibly enjoyable. Definitely worth the visit

Simple but very comforting and tasty breakfast. Serving up hearty English breakfast dishes we all know and love. The small veggie English breakfast was just the right amount and cooked very well. They have a nice selection of cooked dishes and hot drinks on the menu with additional items you can add to your breakfast depending on how hungry you are. The coffee is pretty decent and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. The service was superb and the staff are really friendly, despite it being a windy, rainy and cold day. There is a really nice wooden (and covered) outdoor eating area which offers a good amount of protection from any bad weather whilst we're still having to dine outdoors only.

Martha's Coffee House is a charming establishment that may appear unassuming from the outside. However, stepping inside or into the courtyard reveals its true beauty, especially on a chilly morning with sunny weather. The coffee shop offers a delightful experience as you can bask in the glorious sunshine while being shielded from the breeze. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to serve you with a smile. The coffee is fantastic, and their brioche bun with bacon and egg is exceptionally delicious.
Beautiful & cozy coffee shop embracing all the Cotswolds cozy lifestyle. It was very welcoming & felt like a place where time itself slows down. Delicious oat milk latte & scones! Very laid back & wonderful vibes.

Called in for breakfast and was very glad we did. Delicious breakfast bun with sausage, egg, Emmental cheese, and red onion jam, served in a brioche bun. Coffee was excellent too. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and great quality matcha. We’re really happy with our decision to lunch there. Definitely the best we had during our stay in Moreton in Marsh.

Charming little place in Morton-in-Marsh. Great cortado, the scones are a hit. Try the cheddar-rosemary scone with bacon and maple syrup. Must try in the Cotswolds.

Great coffee, great cake. Tried the Hedgerow cake and found a classic. Fresh berries topped with icing and nuts made by the chefs mum. Mindbogglingly good.

Absolutely LOVED our visit to Martha’s! We visited on a very busy Sunday & even though the team were run off their feet, we were welcomed with smiles & looked after from start to finish. The coffee was excellent & our brunch was delicious. We had the sausage, fried egg, Swiss cheese & onion chutney on toasted sourdough & it was so good! I think I’ll be dreaming of that taste forever 🤤 the flavours really complimented each other, round of applause for whoever came up with that combo! The seating area is small but it’s so cosy & it’s a lovely setting to relax. We also loved the decor, especially the salt & pepper pots! I really want to stress how lovely the team were. Hospitality is hard work, especially on extremely busy days, but the guys at Martha’s couldn’t have been more accommodating for us. Thank you so much, We will definitely be back 🫶🏻✨

Best place in Moreton for customer service and matcha. The team are SO friendly, always wanting to have a proper chat with genuine interest about each of their customers. Makes you feel really valued as a regular. The matcha is always perfect, Lils makes it just how I like it (I’m fussy). They use high quality ingredients and Rude Health milk. Food is delicious too! Best caf in town!

We stayed in the airbnb the night before and decided to have breakfast in the morning… how could you not after smelling the cooking below you. The food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful and the service and staff were outstanding. We had an iced latte each (with oat milk) followed by the sausage, fried egg, emmental and red onion jam breakfast bun (we asked for scrambled egg instead of fried and they happily obliged) and this was insanely good. A perfect start to the day. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone visiting the area. Locally sourced food that was beautifully cooked to perfection all for a decent price.

Nestled in the serene village of Blockley, Blockley Café is a charming and fully licensed artisan café located next to the church. The menu is inspired by seasonal ingredients, offering a delightful culinary experience for visitors. The café provides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax after exploring the picturesque town of Blockley.
This cafe has been one of our top highlights in Blockley (which kept us coming back 4 days in a row). We love the fresh artisanal food that’s prepared with much care by the chef and team. Blockley Cafe’s hot chocolate with cream is the best we’ve ever had. Also highly recommend the buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and back bacon, sweetcorn and courgette fritters, chorizo hash, smoked salmon sandwich and burrata salad with black figs and pistachios. What a delightful feast it has been! A big thank you to the team at Blockley Cafe!

Perfect, the best word to describe this little cafe. Food was amazing, service matched, will definitely stop here whenever travelling even close to the area. Coffee was also brilliant, although enjoyed it too much to take a photo before it dissappeared.

Ordered a vegetarian breakfast (without the egg) and an iced coffee. The staff were really polite and helpful. It was quite busy when we went as there was a hen group present, but the waiting times for our food was still reasonable. The food was sooo tasty. Definitely on the pricier side for a cafe, but worth it for the quality. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the Cotswolds. Parking was available on street and was quite busy when we went.

Best breakfast/brunch spot. If you’re running late for breakfast, make sure you order before you sit down though. If you wait to get served and you’re a minute past breakfast time you won’t get your breakfast. Lunch is also great though so it’s still worth a trip.

Unassuming cafe that serves some simple but wholesome and tasty food. I was really impressed by the staff’s attentiveness and hospitality skills. I had a brain fart moment when ordering and the staff was so lovely and played the whole thing off to make me feel zero embarrassment. They also gave my little pooch some treats and were super friendly throughout. We ordered the Welsh rarebit, open salmon & avocado sandwich, a scone and 2 hot drinks. All came to £39 ish. Food was very generously portioned and tasty. They couldn’t have put more smoked salmon and avocado on the sandwich if they tried! Welsh rarebit was very tasty too. The scone was delightfully warmed through and the coffees were surprisingly good.

It's strange that a coffee house in sleepy Moreton-in-Marsh is named after Belarusian tennis star Victoria Azarenka. Actually I just made that up, it's actually named after Victoria Beckham except that it isn't. I made that up as well. Friendly people working there, including a young man who liked the 👕 t-shirt I was wearing. It's unlikely that he was called Victoria. Very pleasant ☺️ latte with a nice swirly on the top. Not just a coffee shop, it also sells old 78 speed Glenn Miller records, except it doesn't.

We visited the Victoria Coffee house on a beautiful sunny tuesday lunchtime & sat out the front on the pavement. The menu was varied, we opted for welsh rarebit, open tuna sandwich & goat's cheese panini, all of which were really good with a salad on the side which was really tasty with a beautiful dressing. The thing that stood out the most were the staff, who were very polite & attentive, if in the area again we will definitely make a return visit.

Well done to the team. Really friendly place and atmosphere was nice and chilled too. Will definitely go back there again. Again, the management and the team are amazing. Very busy but staff still friendly & helpful. Wide range of food & drinks on the menu. I do recommend trying their Luxury Hot Chocolate drink. It's smooth & creamy plus topped with whipped cream & marshmallows. Very warming on a cold day. The cafe have strict Covid precautions, so be patient while they prepare a table for you. Order & pay at table. Downside is that the toilets are outside at the back.

On our way to Stratford upon Avon, we stopped to have a cuppa of coffee, when we came across Charlotte's. It was the smell of freshly baked cheese scones that lead me to a table in the courtyard. We ordered our drinks and a cheese scone, yes only one, we shared it. But we made a decision, that on our way home we will stop off at Charlotte's and this time we will have a cheese scone each. People of England Charlotte's pantry is the best for all scones especially the cheese ones.

Stopped by for a mid-morning coffee and a cake / pastry. Mum and I both thought the almond pastry looked a little bit burned. Waitress said "oh no it's not" so we ordered one. I ordered Bakewell tart. Ma said her pastry was awful. I didn't think much of the Bakewell either. As well as the burnt underside of the almond pastry, both items were the wrong consistency - heavy and stodgy. We won't going to eat them so called one of the waitresses over; she asked the manager to come to talk to us. She explained that they don't make those particular cakes; they buy them from somewhere else. What does that have to do with anything I wonder? If you sell a product, you have to be happy with the quality of it. It was only when we went on to say that we had wasted our money that she offered us something else. We think she could have dealt with us a bit better. I would have been straight in there with an apology; that is exactly what I teach the tourism and hospitality industry in my training workshops. The cappuccino was good and the cafe itself is spacious, nicely decorated with indoor and outdoor seating areas. We only stopped here for coffee because we were shopping in Fosseway Garden Centre. It wasn't my mum's first choice and now I can see why 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh dear, nice menu, that's where it ends. Not clear it was table service, sat for a while before I had to ask, that was after the hunt for the menu! Chiabatta had a soggy bottom, crisps were soft and stale, the salad oh my, cucumber was soft and yellow tinged, salad leaves slightly weathered and there was so much dressing, perhaps to disguise everything? Disappointing as my partner's ham, egg and chips was okay and plate was cleared.

Full English was very good, proper portion if a little tired from being pre-prepared, didn’t affect the flavour/value. Would Have been 5 stars but for the grumpiest server on the planet, a smile costs nothing and makes a big difference!

My wife and I had lunch at Timothy’s upon arriving in the Cotswolds. The garden centre and restaurant had been recommended to us, and it’s easy to see why. We both ordered the coronation chicken on naan bread, which arrived within five minutes and was absolutely delicious, not to mention very good value. We would definitely eat here again as there were lots of other options on the menu. Excellent.
Adam P — Google review
Extensive and varied menu. I found the cottage pie I ordered, disappointing as it was more a potatoe pie than a cottage pie. My friend had a baked potato, which looked good.
David H — Google review
We loved our food. Fast service; brilliant presentation. Everyone was polite. Garden centre also fab!
Deborah G — Google review
Sadly not as good as it was. There are several building projects going on and leaving the retail area lacking and extremely cramped. Walkways are littered with boxes and display material making it impossible to get around, especially if disabled. Timothys was well before par too. I usually stop here on my journey down the fosse but my experience today means next time I shall keep driving and give this place a miss. The cakes in Timothys were stale and inedible, the hot drink was welcome but £14 for 2 cakes and 2 coffees is extortion and certainly when we each had a different cake and neither could be fully eaten because they were stale. We left disgusted.

Great little shop with a lovely menu. The food was ok, but for example the buttermilk pancakes were most likely bought and not cooked there. The crusty baguettes were also rather soft. But they both tasted ok. The service was great and super friendly.

I found this independent coffee shop a couple of months ago. Even though it's a bit of a drive for me to get there it's become a regular and very satisfying trip to make. The coffee is great, always hot, strong and served in quirky and pretty cups. Initially, I had a coffee and a cake or pastry - both fresh and 'hit the spot' first thing in the morning. But a bacon sandwich is my preferred choice alongside an early morning coffee. I'm a little particular about how I like my bacon sandwich 😊 and Blue Bean has not let me down in providing me with the perfect bacon sandwich. The walls are covered with music and movie memorabilia, and the owner's play list is impeccable. You get great coffee, food and service from the staff, always polite, attentive and fun. What more do you need ? A great find and now a regular haunt for a morning coffee…… and bacon sandwich 😊. Ian

A quaint little bakery serving tea and coffee and a selection of cakes. Full breakfasts and sandwiches are also served along with various other savoury items. Visitors can indulge in a variety of sweet offerings such as lardy cakes, millionaires shortbread, lemon drizzle cake, handmade shortbread, seasonal flapjacks, and gingerbread men.
This was our 2nd visit in as many days, the previous day we went to the Stow shop. Both visits as good as each other. Food was delicious, the Cornish pasty was best I’ve had served with lettuce and crisps just scrumptious totally scrumptious! And lovely big tea pot with delicious tea. The service was perfect in both stores. BUT I signed up to the Huffkins website, enticed by ‘£5 off the next order’-which is why we visited the next day, only there was a catch (as usual!) and the money off is only valid online-it doesn’t say that.

Had an anniversary afternoon tea at Huffkins Morton in Marsh and we were treated like special guests, the young lady serving us was so welcoming and pleasant. The sandwiches were freshly made to order and delicious, the scones were still warm from the oven with plenty of cream and nice tiptree jam, the top tier of cakes we had to take away but still tasted fresh the next day and were delicious. We were surprised that the tea, coffee or soft drinks were unlimited ! Although we only had one pot each it was nice to know there was more if required.

We live locally and visit various Huffkins cafes fairly regularly but we had not been to this one before. It was amazing from the moment we entered. The service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. A lovely little afternoon tea provided for my 3 year old, with handy colouring sheets and crayons provided. Excellent value for money for a traditional afternoon tea with extra cream cakes!! I loved having a little dish of crisps to go with the sandwiches, a nice touch! Thank you!

I only knocked a star off because of the price. The fe was nice, the staff were friendly and accommodating but it was a pricey lunch. Fairly good selection of food, but there are plenty of other cafes in the town so would not use again….but only because I felt it was overpriced, not because of the quality of the food, which was great.

Will start with a negative, which is parking. It was my first visit and I got told to move my bike from the business owner next door. I visited on Friday 19th Sept, about 12:30. It was... nice, not over crowded. I sat inside, with 2 tables vacant. I went for a Jacket potato, [see pic], and it was plentiful. It was perfectly cooked and they didn't skimp on the beans or cheese. Recommended. Staff were lovely and very pleasant. On this day, Pats Baps, had no... 'baps', which made me chuckle. Obviously, during opening times, be mindful of not obstructing the business next door, and you will enjoy this place, I'm sure. It has become well known within the biker community.

Bland overpriced food, uncertain staff and far too many of them. They were very friendly though. We were the only customers and still the waitress asked the kitchen which table she was taking the food to. Miniscule slice of cake - couldn't determine if it was homemade or not. A very damp panini (in the inside) with sparse filling. Realise now why there were no others customers; we should have taken heed. The salad garnish was pleasant.

£12 for a Jacket Potato with a few toppings!! Daylight robbery!! I would love to know the explanation for this price. I regularly visit cafe’s all over The Cotswolds including other popular high street’s and I can confirm this is more than DOUBLE the average cost of a Jacket Potato. No shame in your pricing. This is pure profiteering from tourists and greed.

poor service, very expensive, poor customer service, We arrived before 10 am and we where charged full price although it was advertised a discount if arriving before 10 am, although this was rectified it took an age for the staff to work out the discount nearly £30 for 2 breakfast and 2 coffees, breakfast was 2 rashers of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg,a small portion of beans and mushrooms and 1 round of toast.NOT IMPRESSED.

Absolutely beautiful place and such a delight to go there regularly, you can go in and have your lovely peaceful drink or if you want a little natter with the staff even better, Never had such a good coffee anywhere else and even after trying a few others around the town the day they were closed, was so happy to be going back when it was open again the next day! Best coffee and food in the town I reckon. Gorgeous ciabatta, toasted perfectly, and I don’t know what it is about their coffee but the owners get it spot on every time without fail! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Definitely recommend

Wow! Its hard to put into a short review how amazing this place is. If your passionate about coffee then look no further.. here is the place. A quiet family run cafe that is essential to any Moreton in marsh visit, perfect to have a quiet spot of lunch (amazing locally sourced food and ingredients, I believe) with the best grilled ciabatta you will ever taste! Im not kidding!. The staff are friendly and welcoming, if your looking for consistency and perfection every time then you should visit and I promise you will come back every time. 5 stars all round for this place honestly words cant describe well enough, worth every penny each time. I personally go for a grilled cheese, pesto and tomato ciabatta paired with cappuccino and hazelnut syrup

Popped in here last week and was impressed by this great new addition to the area. Coffee was fantastic and so was the sandwich I had. Didn’t try any of the cakes but they looked amazing (will do next time). Nice atmosphere inside too. It’ll be my go to cafe anytime I’m in the area
