The 21 best coffee shops and best cafes in Runcorn

Have been a few times around 5 as I wait for child who has a club until 5.45. It would be nice to wait somewhere and you would think somewhere open until 6 would be applicable. There was one lad who was super helpful and friendly but on most occasions I am made to feel unwelcome at this time. Today, I listened to the lady in front, at 4.50, be told it was take away only. When she asked what time they closed, he replied 6! When she asked if she could sit down, the guy (different guy) said "yeah, just there, but I'll be mopping around you." Which made me turn round and go to the coffee house instead!

Don’t like Costa Coffee , Way to exspensive, and the hot drinks are scolding hot and I got moaned at just for asking for more milk will never buy from another Costa Coffee ever

Staff are friendly. Food and drink taste like any other Costa. Nice place to relax when not busy. The Frappes are super tasty, recommended any flavour.

Inside shopping centre. Really pleasant staff. Nice coffee and lovely bacon roll. Nice way to start morning. Opens from 7.30am.

Very cold, looks as if they’re saving on heating. You’d expect a coffee place to be warm and cozy. I highlighted the issue calmly to the staff and I only got eye rolls and laughter back

I really love visiting this store, all the staff are super friendly and serve drinks quickly, we visit that often that some members even remember our order. The staff always have a smile and are happy to answer any questions or give there honest thoughts about drinks. I had a problem with the prices of drinks always changing each time and extra charges being applied when they shouldn't. I contacted the owner and it was resolved quickly. I really love going here with my family, just sitting and watching the world go by and enjoying a coffee together. They serve plenty of food with vegan options available. There is also a large indoor seating area and smaller outside area. This has recently been renovated and now has a more modern feel to its design. Even the dog can have a treat from time to time with a puppuccino! There is normally a water bowl outside too and the staff will fill it up when needed. I would highly recommend a visit if you are local.

I was told that I can’t have a Frappuccino because they are cleaning- closing the machines 15 -45 mins before closure ! The store is supposed to close at 7 pm and I tried to order the Frappuccino at 6:10 pm !!!!

Not Good friendly anymore new staff and supervisor young lad with a beard are a joke open up late came on a Sunday they just walked in at 7.30 I knocked on the window to ask. When would it be open as I like to have a coffee before work and I only use this one on a Sunday the blonde girl just at me and laughed instead of saying we opening up late they just laughed one was the supervisor with a beard does not care about his job and member of public very unprofessional. You have to work with members of public. You should be in at for 7 to open up 7.30 I have also passed this on to Starbucks itself as they think they can get away with things it’s not the first time.

Very accommodating. Polite staff. Only been there twice but I cannot fault them for anything both times. Treated fairly and would recommend. The cinnamon buns are absolutely delicious! And so is their coffee obviously. 😋 I'll be going back soon!

Nice flat whites. Awful noise from people dragging chairs about. Are they incapable of lifting a chair to move it? The building is a bit lacking in atmosphere, all hard surfaces and noisy.

A really lively community hub open until 2.30pm. The food is excellent whether its breakfast, lunch or a special ocassion. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I've been using the cafe here for about 4 years now and my opinion on this place just keeps getting better and better. From launching my first business stall here at their Christmas market through to taking my toddler for free play sessions, every experience has been exceptional. The food is equisite (I dare you to find a better roast carrot!) and they truly do support the local community (they supported donate a dinner just this Christmas in helping provide containers for people to deliver a home cooked Christmas dinner for those not able to do it for themselves, so simple but it made a huge difference in so many peoples lives). So community minded, great value for money and incredible quality. This is EXACTLY the type of business we should be supporting to keep improving our local community.

We use The Heath Cafe about once a week and we’re always greeted by happy and friendly staff who are more than happy to help. Good choice of both Hot and cold food. We especially like the separate children’s area, which is always good to meet up with friends in while the children can run around and play and us Mummy’s can sit and have a Breakfast/lunch and a catch up :)

Always a warm, friendly and professional welcome. The staff are so lovely. The food is freshly prepared, tasty and very good value for money.

Lovely, bright and spacious place to chill, eat or work. Always a range of hot/cold snacks or bigger meals of you're hungrier...would recommend the fry ups!! Very family friendly and always happy to help!

Great value cafe

This is a charming theatre in a beautiful setting beside the canal. It's modern and fresh feeling with great acoustics. The staff are helpful and welcoming and there's access of free parking. The smart people seem to go to the car park over the footbridge.

Lovely theatre, modern, spacious, well equipped, located right alongside a canal with it's associated wildlife. The cafe is good value, and the cakes and shortbread are outstanding. Plenty of staff around to help. Currently undergoing some building works, which will further improve access. This is our new favourite theatre, despite us living on the doorstep of the Shakespeare North, which is working had to out-price itself, while offering far inferior (although "authentic") bloody uncomfortable seating. Highly recommended !

It's a great little theatre this. Really good prices and great shows they have on here. Viewing is great everywhere.

Went along to the Studio to watch Rooney v Vardey. The production was amazing. This part of the Brindley is a small side theatre but loved the venue and the production. Staff are amazing, so cheerful and helpful. An added bonus is the free parking especially on the 'Crosville' car park where there is a Costa!

I was very happy with my experience at the Brindley Theatre to see my daughter in her EDTA show. It was a wonderful experience to watch such a wonderful show. The seating and areas around were lovely. I could not fault this theatre.

Good venue. Bought standard tickets but they were very accommodating and let me upgrade on the night with no fuss. Show was good and the place is very clean and tidy and the seats are comfortable- can't ask for more

I do appreciate the quality of food, which is, for food standards of Runcorn, extremely high. All breakfast meals have flavours, are very well presented and there is sufficient variety of them. Coffee is also more than decent and by far the best in Runcorn. The only thing that disappointed me are the pancakes. It's great that they are freshly made. Unfortunately the pistachio sauce was way too sweet, bland and artificial. Staff is very friendly, so my final rating has to be 5*

Absolutely delicious food and cocktails. We reserved a table on a Friday afternoon when it wasn't very busy at all and was served super quick. Definitely very going back again 😁

Outstanding, I've lived in the area for just over a year and still hadn't found a full English to wrote home about, but now I have. Good food, well run small business, good service, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended

Food very nice but service could be better, the place is very small and waiting for food is very long, not sure if will come back. Shame as everything was very tasty but without booking the table you will be turn down with the message- sorry we are fully booked. I think this place is usually crowded and not really peaceful with the chance to relax and have a chance to chat with your companion. Thank you anyway, food was great 😃👍

This cafe has now been taken over by a new company what a disappointment the food used to be so good and a very reasonable priced We called in earlier this week to find the food quality was vastly reduced a baked potato’s served with chilli and with lettuce leaves dripping with oil my meal was the same I have no problem paying extra for good food but this was extremely disappointing

Chilli Con Carne baked potato soooo bland and extremely salty ... very disappointed ... why do mushrooms on brioche - tasted too sweet... the outside seating looked tired - not very inviting... Thanks for replying - you are absolutely right - when I go out to eat I expect the food to be good especially as I work hard and love to relax by eating out with friends and family we love good food! As you can see from my reviews we have visited some amazing places🙏

went a few weeks back, a young woman who seemed a credit to the shop running around with no staff while the managers were sat gossiping in the back. while eating we watched them take her away from the tills to shout at her at. completely ruined our experience and i believe the managers need a lesson on customer service and treating their staff right. spoke to the young woman after her shift ended and she had more complaints about the managers than compliments. seriously need to rethink how they speak to people. wont be back.

Three of us went to The Brooke Cafe for afternoon tea and it was amazing! The table was beautifully set, home made mushroom soup was delicious as was the sandwiches and cakes. All washed down with a pot of tea included! Great value for money. Staff friendly, lovely surroundings. Highly recommended! Lots of choices for vegetarians, only thing missing is the HLT (halloumi) no longer on their menu, which was yummy. Thank you for a fab afternoon, made my friend's birthday :)

The Brooke cafe is my favourite place to eat. The staff are so friendly and always provide a warm welcome. The food is great. It's a wonderful place to eat and I thoroughly recommend it.

I won't be overly harsh and won't go lower than 3*'s because judging on the other mostly 5* reviews maybe they were just having a bad day but for what it's worth here's my experience: I've driven past here many times and the quirky name always makes me smile, also being a lover of trying independent coffee shops I thought id finally stop and give it a try. What a disappointment it turned out to be! Firstly £3.40 for a Flat White, on a retail park in Runcorn is definitely pricey, but if the quality was there (which should absolutely be the focus in small, independent shops like this) that wouldn't have been an issue. However the coffee was extremely bland! It had no depth of flavour at all other than to taste slightly over roasted and bitter. No care was taken in the pouring of the milk either to make what should of been a silky, smooth Flat White. No, it was just tipped straight in. The end result looked and tasted like a McDonald's coffee, not even a McDonald's Flat White but one of their bog-standard white coffees. Very bland and tasteless. The service was also incredibly chaotic and disorganised! I counted six people working but they were mostly just hovering around getting under each other's feet. Maybe it was just a bad day today but either way I'll give it a miss in the future.

Absolutely lovely gem of a place. Breakfast for a fiver and a brew for two quid. Great value for money. Just goes to show it can be done. We had a lovely warm welcome and all the staff were happy and jolly and grateful to their customers. Keep it up you guys, this is what the public want 👍

Decent enough coffee on my way to work, can't comment on food as I didn't have any. Need a bit of something to make the atmosphere seem a bit warmer, lived in, seems a bit sterile, like a waiting room, but may be a case of it's brand new opened. But I'd go back for another coffe

Friendly staff, very nice cup of tea. Food was a bit slow arriving, I think they forgot 😆 Not sure how long it's been open but I'd get someone in to paint some peaky blinder type murals on the walls. It would work really well as it's just lacking at the moment. Just an idea.....

Nice cafe. Good prices, friendly service. Only suggestion I would make is to sell ground coffee: Perky Grinders makes it sound like you'd be a roasters/coffee sales alongside cafe service. I will be back because your Veggie breakfast includes Halloumi and looks like a very decent option!

Called in today after going for physio. My food was delicious, my coffee was as good as anywhere. If I lived locally I would have many meals here, definitely definitely recommend it.

Ordered a Tuna Melt and was charged £7.00 when on the menu it said £4.90. After questioning I was told it because I asked for onion and because of the cheese. So I was charged £3.10 for cheese and onion! Shouldn't be getting charged for cheese as its a Melt. I mean, there's hardly any cheese on it either! I feel like I basically bought all the items/products for them to make it. Won't be coming here again.

Just found this coffee shop this morning - glad I did. Don't know how I missed it before but I'm told it's only been open for 7 weeks. Fast service from pleasant staff. It has a lovely atmosphere and we were very comfortable with its surroundings. Will certainly go again.

I also visited the store in Runcorn Shopping Centre it was - Fantastic Ham & Cheese Panini – (they’re all home-made in their own bakery y’know?) and the shortbread was absolutely A1 – just like my Grandmother used to make ! Oh, and the coffee there was brilliant there too.

Absolutely lovely LOVELY staff! I visit here regularly now, with my ASD daughter and my ADHD self; the staff go above and beyond to accommodate and made my daughter feel so comfortable and stress free! We've been coming here for a while now and it's by far our favourite place for coffee. Better quality of coffee compared to other nearby chains, good quality food and cakes and the environment is warm, welcoming and very clean. The iced mochas are to die for, incredible! The staff are also very friendly - well worth a visit!

Great little backstreet cafe close to train station. The staff there were lovely and food 2as good most of all prices were really cheap compared to most places nowadays deffinatly call again next time I've got time between trains.

Went here today for breakfast with my partner and it was lovely! Really enjoyed our breakfasts and the bacon was cooked perfect! I literally normally have no bacon on my breakfast because everyone else over does it for me.. but betta snax cooked it spot on so I will definitely keep my bacon on my breakfast now yay! Great prices, super friendly staff I will definitely return for our weekend breakies now! This place is definitely worth a visit take away or dine in! Thanks guys, great food be back soon!

Just had a small breakfast delivered to near Runcorn East station. It was fantastic, even the egg was perfect. I had expected the egg to have set hard due to travelling distance but it was perfect and runny. Will definitely use again and recommend. Thanks

A little disappointed with my breakfast today, sausages were undercooked and very pink inside and bacon was barely cooked aswell, then total opposite the toast was black on one side. Shame as we have ordered lovely breakfasts from them before.

Out of all the cafes in runcorn... these know exactly how to cook a full English. Absolute perfection. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. I will be most defiantly be using this service again. Well done. Sorry for going over the top but there really isn't a cafe around that cooks to my standards

Arrived for lunch at 12:40 shop closed despite opening hours stating should be open, no notice on the door stating closed for holiday etc... Speaking to the local tradesmen from the local refinery/businesses this happens alot apparently as ran by 1 person.

Ordered from this business more than once and everytime the food has been delivered super quick and always piping hot The delivery staff everytiime has always been so kind, pleasent and cheerful Well done one on a fantastic business and u all should be very proud of yourselves and give yourselves a big pat on the back xxx

Had a delivery today from Cafe B, first time ever using them and can't fault at all from the minute I ordered to my takeaway box being empty! I was lone working at the office and unable to get out to grab lunch, there was no minimum order and no delivery charge which was a huge bonus as it was a small order. Girl who took my order over the phone was really friendly, reeling off the chocolate bars and crisps they had (my request) Delivery driver turned up, also very friendly and helpful. Had a menu to hand in the car, which was great! Food was beautiful, generous portion sizes and iced caramel latte was unreal. Will definitely be using Cafe B again :)

I have been to Cafe B quite alot since my last review, I have tried several different items of the menu. Today I tried the salt and pepper chicken wrap with fries, the wrap was very tasty and I enjoyed it alot , like with most good cafes word gets out, they become popular and very busy, due to the popularity Cafe B has become very busy at dinner time and with that there can be a bit of a wait. Stick with it, the food is worth the wait. As ever the staff are loverly and very polite Thank you Cafe B, Rob

Nice cafe most people don't even know its there hidden away next to the mersey gateway office staff are nice an friendly an always there to help you compleate your order, although I ordered a breakfast once an never got told the beans where hot an burnt all the top of my mouth so just be aware I've never went back since. Put me off.

Staff was friendly and talkative , the food was okay average, but they stated they don't usually swap out foods in the breakfast which I thought was odd as every other place does and I didn't want black pudding so swapped for another egg which is cheaper for them anyway? Probably could do with a update on tables and chairs. I can imagine it being great for the bikers in the summer though which is great for them to have meets ups down that road

Good food at a reasonable price. A good menu. Owners are friendly and engaging. I took my 2 year old grandson and they made him a special breakfast of his own. Very child friendly. Will definitely be coming here again. 😊

Delivery driver gave my order to someone else & it has not been returned so I am out of pocket. My order was delivered to the correct address but not to myself. I have no refund (Although I did not ask). I ended up getting the delivery charge refunded after calling customer services a second time... so that I can order again. That will NOT happen! They do not ask for the account holder or proof of purchase. Never Again anyone can take your stuff or accept substitutes on your behalf.

Today I called at Asda Runcorn. I was buying compost and plants. I was struggling with the weight of the compost. Dave (staff member)who was just coming past me to put trolleys away,could see I was struggling. Well what an amazing service he put all my stuff in to the trolley and pushed it through to the store so I could pay. He then came with me to my car and put it all in my car. I went to get petrol and Dave came over to give me the pound that I’d left in the trolley. What an amazing service from him,maybe other staff could take notice of his fantastic costomer care . I hope that this review is shared with Dave he deserves to know that he’s appreciated.

If I could give 0 I would, worst Asda in England, some guy walks into a stand and knocks everything over and the staff blamed me luckily I had witnesses back me up also the staff all looked like they've been told the world's going to end tommorow, crack a smile! Slow service and the way you get talked to is so rude everything especially at the front where people get their meal deal etc, get better staff or teach them some customer service skills!

Just wanted to leave this review as there was a very lovely woman on the pizza counter today stuck all on her own. I'm sorry about all the very horrible impatient people I witnessed being so rude to you despite your apologies about the wait. She was absolutely lovely and I hope she enjoys her upcoming retirement she was telling me about cos she's an absolute star. As a side note to Asda, maybe get more people on the pizza counter so that staff don't have to deal with such abuse in the first place. They don't get paid enough for that.

Visited on bank holiday, very busy and rather hectic as expected. Small baskets weren't at the doors, they were the other end by the tills. Toilets weren't bad but several out of order, there was a leaky tap.

Home Delivery Driver called Andy. Very impatient. My mum is 80 and couldn't lift the shopping. She asked would he put it on her kitchen table which is literally next to front door but he huffed.Said he was pushed for time. Hes very busy! Previous delivery driver Andy was so great. My husband ordered our shopping to be delivered for 14 August asda decided to cancel it and claim that there was no money in our account but clearly there was. So we reoreded it everything seems to deal fine until midday when we get a message saying due to technical issues the shopping will be delivered later than expected so about 19.57 the shopping came but missing all the frozen stuff the driver looked the van there was no freezers stuff there he told us to contact as the after contacting them they told us to phone up today before contacting them we did a refund request and explained that items were missing only to have our request rejected until that a member of staff could not issue us with a refund my partner contacted as the and as the will issue us with a refund and that the system was down we have to wait five working days for a refund with no freezer shopping fortunately for us we've had a bit of money aside to order from Iceland but it's costing us a lot more than what it was with asda. I want to know why ASDA rejected my first refund as clearly it was their fault clearly they have left me out of pockets and if I didn't have any spare cash than we would be going with out freezers stuff there are poor families out there that don't have spake cash to get extra freezers of is asda is a shambles and they have lost a customer this is perfected I'm hoping with the refund goes in within the five days if not I will be seeking legal advice and taking this matter of further as this is theft of my money

Ordered 2 breakfasts,one full English , one half English. After ordering it took 15 mins to get our 2 teas and another 25 mins to get 3/4 of the Breakfast the toast came as we was eating the last mouth full of the main breakfast but after us enquiring about the toast the cook shouts " im human not a Robot" very rude . Toast was burnt too when it came. Absolutely a Disgrace no wonder it was empty

Lovely little cafe that sells great coffee. Staff are warm and welcoming and the place is immaculate. Bought some feta cheese pies which were mostly pastry, and the cheese was quite bland. Had them in the past and they were soooo good. Not had them for a while, a rise in price and drop in quality.

Wonderful coffee - It’s located right next to the petrol station - drive in is available - a small cozy cafe that is well liked by the residents nearby ( we were there for about an hour, and there were many regulars there. We guess they are, as the staff knows what they need ‘the usual order’). It’s wonderful - friendly staff - they sell coffee beans as well - they let you choose the beans you want for your latte - nice place to chill

Such an understated place. I can't believe I didn't find out about this place earlier. A place for the coffee connoisseur with coffee bean ranges such as Kenyan, Ethiopia, Brazilian ect. Definitely worth a visit and I will most definitely be going often. Brazilian is my choice so far. 👍🏾

A hidden gem located next to the Texaco Garage at Rockmount. I had the breakfast wrap and espresso freddo, which were both awesome.

Wow, what an unexpected gem! Spotted this place on my travels, small and quirky little coffee shop attached to the side of a petrol station… it was the drive thru that caught my eye. Didn’t realise until I was at the window that it was a Greek place! Had a spinach and cheese pastry and a frappe… fantastic. Like being back in Kos. Excellent service too will definitely be back.

A little pricey to be honest. £5.45 for a Milkshake plus £0.65 for Whiped Cream (as of October 2024). The one small internal bin was overflowing, but the rest of the café seemed clean. Dog friendly. Very busy and only a short wait.

We have been coming regularly since Esposito opened, staff are friendly, helpful and even when busy as helpful as possible to accommodate everyone. Ian and his staff are extremely busy, queuing is way of life, accepting that at busy periods it can’t be helped. Nice cafe in Runcorn Hill park. It's got a good hot food menu, traybakes, ice-cream and coffee. There's indoor and outside seating, toilet facilities and a free carparking.

Called in today for a coffee and toast. Staff always lovely. Was shocked to see food now served up on paper plates. (I'm not at a children's party guys). To be honest, this place imo has gone downhill. Needs a deep clean, especially the floor area. Also, the toilets are in need of a serious deep clean and repairs to the broken one in the ladies. The beading around the floor in the cubicle I used was black. Won't stop me going back, as their cappucinos are delicious, but sadly it may be takeaway going forward.

Lovely cafe in Runcorn Hill Park which sells, coffee, ice-cream, cakes, sandwiches and smoothies. Dogs are welcome in the rear foyer which has a picnic bench. The food selection is a little limited and tends to sell out by early afternoon. There are toilets and disabled access. It can get busy with people queuing for ice-cream.

I've been going to the cafe in Runcorn since it opened and loved it but have seen a deterioration in the cafe. It was much better when they made the food on the premises because now when they run out, that's it. They can't just make you another sandwich. I also wish that they'd return to the choice of sandwiches that they used to sell a while ago. I definitely don't like the paper plates they now serve the food on. Don't like the mugs either. I much preferred the cups and saucers. And why no salt and pepper anymore. They used to have satchets. Also the ice cream should be a separate queue like it was previously. It was working well then. For some reason they moved the ice cream counter to the till end and it takes ages now to be served when it's busy, specially in school holidays. The worst thing of all is all the dogs that are allowed in. It's horrible when they start barking and yapping and some small dogs practicality sitting on the tables or sniffing the table. There is a sign that warns the dogs will have to be removed if they bark too much but this isn't enforced. Not enough staff to carry out I don't think (staff are lovely). It's a shame but it's putting me off from going there now. There are definitely less people going because of the dogs. It's such a shame.

Fed up with requesting coffee frap with fresh cream & being given vegan whip instead! I requested it at the speaker, reminded them twice at the window and still was given vegan whip but they topped it with fresh cream Vegan whip is vile & i have an allergy to it! Get a grip costa.

standard costa. usually call here for coffee after work. very nice in the summer with outside seating. big car park or a short canal walk from town centre.

Big shout out to Caitlin who served me on Friday night after I had been towed off the mersey gateway. I really needed a cheery face and some kindness and that's exactly what I got. I had to wait hours for further recovery and it was very reasurring to be somewhere safe. As always great coffee ☕️ Costa you are very lucky to have such warm and welcoming staff - credit to your company 😀

Took my drive through medium latte home to find one third of the contents was froth! That's NOT what I expect for the price you have to pay. Furthermore they always seem short of one thing or another in this.place, bacon rolls or even a basic like bread. You'd be better off going to Starbucks across the road.

Had a lovely time here. Staff were friendly and food was nice as well. Not overcrowded for time of day, relaxed atmosphere.

I used the drive through to get my ginger latte and the young lady was so nice sharp and efficient and very pleasant top marks to the team there always happy to deliver a high standard of service well done

this costa has an awful atmosphere, most staff are rude and act like they don’t want to be there most of the time. Tables are left not cleared for ages, cups are dirty and not cleaned properly. Overall experience disappointing, wouldn’t go back again!

Came in an hour after opening, wanted some pancakes but told there were 'none in'. Maybe for the best as that implies they're not made fresh anyway. I instead ordered avocado toast, it came with avocado covering maybe a third of the toast. Forget any seasoning, even the hashbrowns were bland. The cutlery was covered in latte foam, when I requested tissue they didn't have any... The only redeeming quality was the coffee and the quality of the eggs.

I have previously loved this cafe and tey will try to accommodate your needs but the last twice Ive visited the single staff member has been run off her feet, gets orders mixed up and choice isnt what it was. They no longer do sourdough and the wholemeal bread is just brown not wholemeal. If this cafe is going to survive they need to return to basics and make customer care a priority. Its funny that Ive just read a review about their own friends and family coming first, and although this didnt happen to me I did watch it happen. A man had obviously ordered eat-in food and was sat waiting at the table. A group of 5 people, obviously known to the staff as two came downstairs to chat, came in and ordered. They received their meals before the waiting man who was evidently pd off! Not good service at all!!

Never been before but would highly recommend, nice atmosphere and the staff were great. Popped in for a late breakfast which they do upto 13.30 I think it took us longer to decide what to have than it did to make it for us. Big menu so need to go back to try more

Absolutely shocking cafe, looks good, seems good that’s all you can say. Phoned up for takeaway, waited over 1 hour for food, once it come not only was everything I ordered wrong it looked like it was thrown together. Wouldn’t go there if it was my last option again, been going since 2021 gets worse and worse each time.

Service with a smile - and staff more than happy to go the extra mile! Nutty’s came highly recommended so we thought we’d check it out. We’re glad we did! Freshly cooked food, generous portions, and the prices were down to Earth. When staff noticed we had to eat with our baby on our knee due to no available booster seats, the manager set out immediately for a high chair! You can imagine how special that made us feel. Certainly a place to shout about for all the right reasons. Super-duper stuff. Well impressed.

I have had the pleasure of eating @ Nuttys twice and both times have been great service and fine foods. I ate Bacon egg and Sausage the last time I visited and I must say it's been the nicest I've eaten to date 10/10 for quality food and service 👍👌

Was our first visit to this cafe so can only comment on what we had today which was the ham salad and tuna salad barms. Lovely big barms with generous fillings and I can honestly say the salad was very fresh and crisp unlike some of the soggy lettuce I've had in other places. Nice and clean and very friendly staff. I would recommend a visit. Only criticism was my husband would have liked his tea served in a teapot as he likes to top his cup up.but that's just.his preference.

First time trying Tropicana Cafe , within the Box . The interior was confusing , as it was many stores and random thing . Great concept , bad execution . The food was awful . The burger was slimy / soft and the texture was terrible . I know that the quality of the meat was poor by taste and lack of chew . The chips were also chewy , not crunchy and also way over cooked . Hot dog was a hot dog .. can’t moan really but supposed to be “jumbo” and it was very small . We left unsatisfied and ate elsewhere . The service was good , the woman was polite and nice . But despite the cafe being empty there were many unoccupied plates that should have been removed and cleanliness was not up to scratch . We had also waited for quite a while , despite it being empty and a rather simple order . Food : 1/10 Service FOH : 5/10 Waiting times : 3/10 Restaurant environment: 3/10 Cleanliness : 4/10 Price : 5/10 Overall score : 2.5 Don’t recommend, won’t be going back . Actually still feel quite poorly from it .

Really nice clean cafe with lovely staff. Coffee is tasty and food very tasty. I had a jacket potato with cheese beans and salad. My only niggle was that I really wanted egg on toast but they only have white bread and in this day and age Id have thought brown/wholemeal could be easily offered?

Great place me and my wife have been coming here since it first opened, and I treated her to a valentines day meal, it was great thanks to a great staff and service was amazing

I have visited this place four times, and each time I go, I always choose the jacket potato and hot chocolate. The quality of the food is excellent, and it tastes great. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is polite and professional. The seating area is clean and comfortable. I am very satisfied with the service and will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. I am one of the happiest customers.
