The 25 best coffee shops and best cafes in Sudbury

I was in Sudbury for work and I read about this place. I tried their pour over coffee which tasted more richer and acidic. I also ordered the egg frittata with prosciutto which was surprisingly very flavourful - the aioli sauce really tied it together. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, a little dark with the lighting but overall a pleasant experience :)

Good place for relaxing, studying, and even taking your time with friends. The barista was so professional in doing art on coffee. I attached some pictures you can visit it.

Coffee was absolutely delicious!! Went back three times during my vacation! Also enjoyed a yogurt bowl which was amazing, would highly recommended checking this place out if you’re in Sudbury ! Staff were extremely friendly & the cafe was beautiful & clean

My husband and I ordered one iced cinnamon bun latte with cold foam. We ended up with 2 iced cinnamon bun lattes with cold foam, but no coffee in the lattes. We basically got cinnamon bun flavoured milk.. first time at the south end location and won’t be back.. not sure what happened but we definitely weren’t looking to have a cold glass of cinnamon bun milk with cold foam. You can see in the picture that the latte is clearly not a latte..

This place is expensive as heck. The quality is phenomenal and atmosphere 10/10. I great place to spend $23 on two lattes and a common bun.

Sorry, but furniture can be more cosy and curtains would be nice to hang. And a tiny vases with flowers on each table. If you’ll want- you can Make this place really comfortable coffee house . Now its like dining .

Absolutely delicious food every time I go. The only downside is that it is very busy a lot of the time and the cashier area is small, so people kind of pile up awkwardly because there isn't much room for lines for ordering or picking up. I think it would also help if they took people's names, so that there is less confusion on whose order is whose.

Favourite coffee shop in the city! Easily accessible as it’s right in the heart of downtown. The atmosphere alone is enough for you to make the trip but the drinks and treats will keep you there. The service is great and plenty of seating for large groups. Have been taking this beautiful girl to this coffee shop since we started dating 5 years ago and it still holds a special place in our heart ❤️ and have had zero complaints over numerous visits

Absolutely not. The matcha was basically chilled oat milk (see photo). Everything was below average and bland. We had the dirty chai, that sucked too. The grilled cheese was bland. Would not recommend. The atmosphere is nice if you want to work amongst plants and local art.

Got two exceptional coffees expertly made. And I’ve tried many many cafes. The espresso and milk they used were very tasty. Also got the cinnamon muffin and holly smokes it’s unforgettable. Solid cafe with super nice vibe.

You know those coffee shops you see in movies? The ones you wish existed because they are so cute and cozy inside. Plants all over, local artists artwork on the walls and just the nicest staff? You've finally found one in real life at Kuppajo! Go there asap and bring a friend. You will not regret it!!

One of my favourite coffee shops in Sudbury. The coffee is always good, and the croissants and pastry always taste fresh. The atmosphere inside is really nice too.

Unfortunately the downtown is a waste pit now and nobody besides the "zombies" care to go anymore. Super unfortunate as it's used to be great. The coffee shop is ok, indoor with an outdoor vibe. Clean and quiet.

The flat white i ordered wasn't very good, as it tasted quite watered down. The butter tart was ok. The atmosphere was nice. They have a huge selection of beans, which is great for a roastery.

Wonderful place for coffee! We got an oat milk latte with pumpkin spice syrup. The server was super friendly. They offer four non-dairy milks: oat, soy, almond, and coconut!

Got roasted beans here to take home from our road-trip in Northern Ontario. We were recommended half/half of the beans they use at the cafe and blue moon. Unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations with respect to the quality of the beans. It produced a thin light crema. Tried to pull a few shots to make sure. We also ordered a single shot at the cafe. It was the same consistency. We thought perhaps it was the barista (it happens) and it will be different once at home. Otherwise, staff was great and my flat white was acceptable.

Could go here every single morning for an amazing cup of coffee! Lovely staffs who care about you. Amazing coffee. I bought some beans for my cold brew at home and it’s phenomenal! Best café in town definitely!

Great spot for a good quality, freshly roasted coffee in the heart of downtown Sudbury. Best variety of beans in town and the coffee the serve is always well made. Also makes a great cup of iced coffee

Great iced lattes here! They have tons of flavours, and beans from basically everywhere in the world! The staff was super friendly and able to recommend something when you didn't know what to drink. Very cute establishment, great for a quick stop in for a drink!

Cute little coffee shop on Kathleen. Atmosphere and service was great! Was not a fan of our drinks. We had the matcha and golden milk, both of which were extremely powdery and honestly off putting. Was rather disappointed after reading the reviews for this place. The desserts however were delicious and fresh! Would try again to give them another chance

My #1 stop in Sudbury. The coffee is u real (I am a coffee connoisseur and the coffee is on par with top toronto cafés.) The service personable and friendly, the front patio is adorable, and the baked goods, including the gluten free selection, are to die for. Beards makes me feel like I'm back in the big city. Impeccable quality.

Really nice spot to hang out of the patio in summer. Inside is nice and cool too. I sat on the patio end and had a panoramic view of the street and cliff which was so nice as it sits on top of the hill. The breakfast club is amazing, everythi go was mad to perfection..the rye bread I expected to be darker rye and marbled..but thats just my preference. It was a lot of food. Next time I'll get some fruit instead of home fries..lol. not impressed with the dark roast though. I've had better. Overall great experience. It's kind of self serve place..you buy your food at the counter .so do not expect wait service but they will drop the food at your table and that's it. As long as you come with the expectation..I believe you'll have a great experience. Great job

This place is an excellent place to come if you want to have a very good cup of coffee. They also have fancy coffee . There's a breakfast and lunch menu along with cute little baked goods,pizza's and daily specials. The atmosphere is cozy with a modern twist. I would definitely recommend it for couples looking for a nice quiet place to come eat ,or even a single person to enjoy a cup of coffee and snack. The service was excellent and I felt welcomed,even though I have social anxiety. The young blonde server was excellent and went above and beyond. Thanks Twiggs ! I will return. ❤️

I’ve been to twiggs many many times and have never had much issues. However today was different, I entered and sat at a booth with some friends to study as normal and began setting up my computer and notebook not even 5 minutes into us being there the Owner comes up to our table and asks in a rude condescending tone if we plan on ordering anything, (keep in mind every time we go we all order drinks and a desert about $15+ per person). When we said we were about to order he gave us a weird looked and walked away. We see the same guy go to every table making sure someone ordered something. I’d understand if it was super busy but it wasn’t there were at least 6 empty tables where people ordering could sit. This is also not the first time someone I know has had an issue with this owner- I’d avoid at all costs. Other staff are very kind and polite but honestly seem more uptight and stressed when he’s around (I don’t blame them) dessert are good but definitely not homemade (sometimes stale and overpriced like their drinks) the pizza is good but not worth the hassle.

I heard about Twiggs on CBC radio and we made the effort to go past Starbucks and try Twiggs. Well worth it! Big beautiful place, breakfast meals offered but the coffee was so good!!!! Wish there was a place in the south.

Were I to have reviewed this otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars regardless; this place is wonderful and delicious. They have cute goingons and great drinks and food and desserts. However, the real reason I am here today to tell you of their worthiness.... is their provision of plastic straws. Thank you, Twiggs. ♡

I recently visited Café Da Capo and it was such a delightful experience that I felt compelled to share. I especially loved the caramel macchiato , the morning overload and for sweet tooth : Cheesecake Baklava beautifully presented and full of flavour. The service was equally commendable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and seemed genuinely passionate about what they do. They were happy to offer recommendations and made the whole experience feel personalized and warm. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Café Da Capp is definitely worth a visit. I’m already looking forward to coming back

The vibes in this cafe are great. I like the plants and the wood furniture a lot. They seem to have a lot of authentic greek products, which is really great. The coffee was good and they serve it with chocolate even if it’s takeout. I had the keto omeleta here. It was good but I believe they might have used a lot of oil—something gave me really bad heartburn and I normally never get heartburn.

Unfortunately, I wasn't served, so I can't comment on the food or drink. I walked in; no customers were in sight, and it wasn't busy. I intended to try a few things, but the woman sweeping ignored me. I waited a couple of minutes at the counter for someone to maybe come out of the back or for her to ask if she could help. I was clean, in a good mood, and approachable, so I don't know why I was treated that way. I know this is locally owned and felt good about spending my money there to support them, but after this, I likely won't be back. I came here once quite a while ago, and the woman was very friendly, so I don't know what's changed.

I went with my wife to try out a cafe we haven’t been to before. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very calming and has very eclectic decor. The savoury crepes were so delicious ( after dark & señorita) Definitely a Sudbury hidden gem

The BEST breakfast/brunch in ONTARIO really affordable for something really delicious and unique. I am a crepe lover and haven’t been more satisfied with both quality and price. Highly recommend!! From eggs, grilled cheese all the way to desserts and drinks. Heartwarming experience and very caring owners ✨

I loved my visit to Da Capo! Stephanie and her staff were so friendly. The Greek Pita, Crepe and Latte I had were incredibly satisfying. The vibe of the shop is so inviting, with lots of plants and aesthetic decor. 10/10 recommend!

I go to Flurple’s every summer especially after a visit to Tucos Tacos. After attending the multicultural Canada day celebration at the arena (which was such a vibe!) I decided to spontaneous bring my group to Flurples. We arrived 10mins before the shop opened. I ordered the ice cream sandwich. The cookies were freshly baked and soft. The ice cream wasn’t as creamy as I have had in the past, but still tasted good. I will continue to visit this vegan local ice cream shop in my childhood neighbourhood. The customer service was top notch and our orders came out very quickly.

This place is delicious!! I had the peanut butter sundae and you can't even tell it's vegan. My fiance had the cookie dough and he said it was the best he's had. Generous servings, good prices, great selection!

Sign said open but nobody was there. Waited 15min before we left - The flavoured soft serve and edible cookie dough is always a must for me but not much else on the menu is worth the money in my opinion

I've wanted to try Flurples for a while, but haven't had a chance. I went today after a visit to Tuco's Tacos and it was delicious! The prices weren't too bad and we got our orders really quickly. The portion sizes were huge; I couldn't finish mine. It might be better for sharing. I had the strawberry shortcake ice cream and it was really good! I did find it a *touch* too sweet, but I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so it might've just been my own personal preference. I also am not a big fan of coconut, so I didn't care much for the coconut whipped cream on top. But otherwise it was very good, and you could definitely fool non vegans into thinking it was dairy. Yummy!

Ordered the strawberry shortcake Sunday. Literally a pinch of strawberry cookie crumb. First 2 bites it was gone. Ice cream was ok, melted quickly and tasted like coconut. For 8 bucks, way overpriced for sure.

We have been here on multiple occasions when in the area for holidays and the kids love it. As do we. We love that they have gluten free options and vegan options and the coconut whipped cream is yummy!! Would highly recommend the milkshakes and the strawberry shortcake ice cream sundae. Open only for a few months in summer so head there in warm weather. You won't regret it.

Amazing service and food! I enjoyed the best lobster bisque I've ever had! The salads were phenomenal, and the turkey sub was extremely fresh. Their caramel iced coffee was the cherry on top. We will absolutely return:)

Very friendly staff, with quick service and a nice place to sit and eat. We were there early in the morning and opted for their breakfast instead of their highly recommended subs and it was a good classic breakfast sandwich. The coffee was nice and the lavender latte was delightful. The s'mores bar was really good but the lemon muffin was the highlight. There is a nice local market in a side room with some pretty neat items. I was very surprised with the price, 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and 2 pastry were just over $20.

Talk about the best matcha in sudbury. Also the staff is so so nice it’s actually unreal. A MUST VISIT. <3

First time here while visiting in Chelmsford. The soup was amazing. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. Great food choices as well as many specialty teas, coffees to choose from.

Great service, good quality everything. Only complaint would be that I wish there was a list of available flavors you can do for the coffee since I'm not a fancy coffee drinker, it makes it tricky for me to order. That's a minor complaint though.

This is my favourite place in all of Greater Sudbury. If you want to be greeted with a smile, have a delicious cup of coffee or a very fresh sub sandwich, or enjoy the best soup in town all while shopping local, and maybe sneaking a delicious dessert....this is the place!!!

Awesome little ice cream shop, good selection, good portions but do not get their waffle cones, they are too thin and readily fall apart while eating your ice cream, one person in my group had to throw away half their cone because he was left holding the ice cream in his bare hands along with the crumbled cone remains. The server had to go through two cones while serving me because they were disintegrating in her hands as she was taking them apart from each other to put ice cream in it. An issue I hope they rectify before I return.

Really cute vibey cafe. We had the grilled veggie sandwich & goat cheese toast, both great. Coffee was good too. I’m pumped Sudbury is getting places like this, but the prices were too high for the area. We’re from Ottawa/Toronto and prices are comparable out here if not cheaper. I’d return for coffee tho!

Visiting from out of town we needed a quick lunch and decided to try something new. As a vegan I figured a cafe called "Nourish" was a pretty safe bet. When I got there I asked the girl working if there were any Vegan options or anything that could be slightly altered to be made vegan and she essentially shrugged at me while I looked through it myself and found I could have the avocado toast and a smoothie bowl. Avocado TOAST by definition should be prepared in a toaster and not had the life crushed out of the already super thin slice of bread. On top of that the avocado tasted rotten and the pea shoots on top were shrivelled and also tasted like they were past their best before date. Luckily I ordered myself the smoothie bowl so I wouldn't be hungry, right? Wrong. That smoothie bowl was thinner than water and has enough cacao nibs to kill someone. Not to mention a mysterious sour red powder that might have been dehydrated strawberries? It was supposed to have hemp seeds and they were nowhere to be found. I realize now that this is NOT somewhere for a vegan to get a decent meal, I just wish the staff would have warned me before I wasted my money. The staff were nice! The food came out quickly and the menu seems reasonably priced. It's very cutely decorated too so I had really high hopes! Disappointed.

Out of avocados, out of granola, out of croissants, etc. As the result we could hardly order and it was not really what we wanted. But we were very hungry and we stayed. So we ordered and asked for water. The water arrived but with the food only. And that’s considering that it was +33 outside! The serving was also weird. They first brought my order. I asked for utensils. In about 5 minutes they brought the order for my boyfriend, the utensils and finally water. The food was good but that’s not the place I would recommend.

Ok this place is amazing. It was so nice. We were craving a healthy breakfast and this place was better then we could’ve expected! So many great healthy options. Super cute vibe. Employees were all so caring and lovely. Great customer service. And the price was way cheaper then I expected for such good quality and service! I love Nourish! Ever since I discovered this cute and cosy hideaway coffee spot last Winter, I’ve been a returning customer. It’s perfect for studying, dates, and even has a consignment shop with tea, selfcare items, and candles :) Also, I’m lactose intolerant literally and metaphorically (After those food documentaries…) buttt something compelled me to try the triple cheese garlic butter sandwich the other week and TRUST ME I have never and will never have a better grilled cheese sandwich in my life. So. Worth. It. I also love the Brie sandwich + frequently buy from their healthy grab n go options during school lunch. Top fav drinks: Mango Matcha, Iced coffee with caramel, and the ice shaken expresso :) Their baked goods are also heavenly, especially when fresh! Overall, I recommend this place to everyone, especially people who enjoy a calm, friendly + hideaway kind of atmosphere and good food + drinks!

Tough review, because the coffee was not good. I ordered a Flat White; though what I was served was not one. The cookie was cheap, but hard and didn't taste fresh. The ladies working behind the counter were nice. The menu of healthy food options looked good. The atmosphere and amount of seating is excellent. I don't think I would go back for a coffee; maybe for a healthy snack or lunch.

I was so happy to discover this place on a recent visit to Sudbury. The iced latte is the best in Sudbury, strong, great quality espresso, various milk options, good ratio of ice/milk/espresso. The indie northern/sudbury author focused books are intriguing (and very well priced especially for a smaller book store!). I ended up going back 2 more times while I was there because I loved it so much. I didn’t have the chance to try the food but it looked and smelled delicious. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful! It’s one of those places that makes you realize the potential of downtown Sudbury. If you are a Sudburian (or just visiting) I cannot recommend this place more!!

Cozy coffee shop, and friendliest staff.

First time here! They didn’t have the sandwich I had originally wanted, which may have been a blessing in disguise, because the one the employee recommended (some kind of chicken/pesto/grilled cheese) was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The employee was very friendly, and service was quick despite it being rather busy. Plenty of seating and parking which is very important. The cold brew was alright, but that’s on me for not asking more questions about it before ordering. The chocolate cupcake I got was incredibly dry, though the frosting was delightful and almost made up for it.

Can you say buttery?! Their pastries are incredibly delicious and buttery. They basically melt in your mouth. Not to mention the size of these croissants! Their coffees and lattes have a great aroma! Their Reuben and Ham & Gruyère sandwiches were warm and decent though not as tasty as I had hoped, without too much flavour aside from that of the bread and pastries themselves. Overall, pretty nice caffè!

We tried the Chicken Empanada and Sausage Roll. Both were very bad. They were tasteless, and wasn’t even heated through. The empanada was for 9 dollars, absolute waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I almost took off a star because there was too much to choose from! The croissants and sourdough are amazing. I thought my buttertart stuffed cookie was going to have an ooey gooey centre, but the keylime cheesecake and coconut cream tarts were fantastic.

Excellent espresso, and EXCELLENT chocolate croissant. The combination of the strong somewhat bitter espresso and the croissant are a match made in heaven! Busy place, plenty of parking.

Went in with my 6 year old while waiting for an appointment. I asked her what she wanted she told me bread. I bought an overpriced loaf of Light Rye. Was told they would not cut me a slice off the loaf I just paid for. They offered to let me use a butter knife. When I asked again I was told it was "restaurant policy" not to slice loaves in any way. The 3 young servers rolled their eyes at me and acted like elitist little socialites. 26$ for a loaf of bread, a croissant and an empanada. Service was abysmal. Shame on these people. Shame.

Was my first time there, and I will definitely be back. The food was delicious and the coffee was hot. The staff were very friendly. It's a great place to get fresh bread and their cinnamon rolls looked good, that's on my list for next time.

Good quality drinks BUT service too slow. It seems they prioritize take outs instead of customers who come and order inside. We waited over 15min for our two drinks and breakfast sandwich! Also bookshelf in store has a broken leg and left as is—make the place look uncared for. Washrooms surprisingly dirty and need DEEP clean! The dust layer is thick!!

This Starbucks is always a great stop! The crew here is super friendly and always smiling, which makes a big difference. They get my order right every single time—no mix-ups, ever. Even when it's busy, they move fast and get you in and out without any hassle (unlike some other coffee chains) This place sets the bar for what great customer service should be.

My friend visited this Starbucks yesterday and had an awkward experience that left him feeling quite uncomfortable. One of the employees asked if he was there to “pick up an order” right as he walked in—without any context or prompt. As an Indian, he couldn’t help but feel that this question was based on a stereotype rather than a genuine inquiry. He didn’t take offense, but it did make him question why assumptions were made about his presence in the store. It’s important for frontline staff to be mindful and avoid jumping to conclusions based on someone’s appearance or background. A simple “Hi, how can I help you today?” would’ve made the interaction neutral and welcoming. This isn’t meant to bash the store, but rather a reminder that small things can unintentionally make someone feel singled out. We hope this feedback is taken constructively to help create a more inclusive environment.

Great experience! I found out that they no longer carry lactose free milk. This is disappointing. I opted for oatmilk and I liked it. I enjoyed the ham and Swiss croissant and stopped to let a staff member know how much I enjoyed it.

Went in and stood at the counter for 5 minutes and nothing. Just 10 people running around behind the counter. Someone came up said they'd be with me in a second, still nothing. Eventually someone else came up and said they'd be with me in a second. Nothing. Find somewhere better. I'm sure the coffee would be fine, if they ever actually serve it.

Stopped by this Starbucks for a morning meeting and ordered a passion tea lemonade. I was given a green peach tea lemonade instead, no big deal, it was loud in there and mistakes happen. I politely let barista who made my drink, Maggie, know about the mix-up and kindly asked if it could be remade. Instead of a simple fix, I was met with an eye roll and overheard her say to another staff member, “It literally says peach green tea lemonade, like how is that my fault?” I felt uncomfortable and like a burden for calmly requesting the drink I ordered. As someone who works in customer service, I was really disappointed by the poor attitude and lack of professionalism. I’ll be going out of my way to visit a different location next time.

I had a great breakfast experience at this cozy spot! The menu had a good variety of pastries and hearty breakfast options, and everything we ordered came out fresh and well-prepared. What really stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—they made sure our orders were right, offered recommendations, and checked in often without being intrusive. You can tell they really care about customer satisfaction. Overall, it’s a great place to start your day—good food, great service, and a warm atmosphere. I’d definitely come back!

Stopped in on our way through Sudbury for breakfast and we were very pleasantly surprised by Beni. We loved the vibe inside and the food was 10/10. We all raved about the potatoes especially! The Anna-Laura bakery inside is also such a great addition. The pastries we got to go are all delicious as well. The booths were nice and comfy and spacious enough for 4 or more people. We will definitely be coming back on our way through Sudbury again!

We had breakfast at BENi and everything was excellent! The taste was great, and the service was even better. Marly was very kind and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and overall it was a wonderful visit. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Travelling through and saw all of the cars so thought it would be a good place. Far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was amazing with real maple syrup and amazing coffee. The bakery was a bonus. Noah couldn’t have given better service.

Wow! Amazing meals ~ fresh, tasty, delicious and large portions. A popular place so there was a long line up when we arrive - we waited for 15 minutes. Has a great vibe and staff are friendly. Anna-Laura is also inside this restaurant so it was nice to have a wide variety of desserts and if you want just to take home some goodies. Glad we had the chance to try this place out. Would recommend to everyone!

Great food, cheery staff. My two critiques are the loudness and the prices. Like the former breakfast joint, the hard surface and no sound absorbing material make for a constant din. It’s almost cafeteria like. Not overly pleasant. You can hear everyone else’s conversations and a smattering of kitchen noise despite it being far removed from our window side table. I had the amazing shakshuka this morning…but $23 for a plate of tomato sauce, a few eggs and a half cup of beef was…more than I’ve paid in other places. Having said that, they have an extensive menu, everything I’ve ever had here is great tasting and the service is warm and friendly.

This is hands down the best brunch spot in Sudbury! The delicious cafe in the back is a hit too. My only con is that there were no smoothies on the menu, however that dread was washed away with a delicious Caesar. Shout out to Julie for her impeccable service- I can’t wait to come back!

Just had a coffee there and an egg frittata. Hands down the coffee was great. Good enough to make me want to go back. Slightly expensive. Nice people and food. Recommended!

Nice spot to stop in for a coffee and a snack. Large parking lot that is easy to maneuver in. Friendly staff, bright, welcoming atmosphere with natural lighting. Had a latte and an apple cinnamon croissant for $11. Comparable pricing to Starbucks, but nicer quality.

What a wonderful cafe! At first sight only I found it relaxing welcoming and comforting. Good vibes makes one enjoy the food even more. My server was also so pleasant helpful and attentive making it even more enjoyable. We came in for coffee and landed up taking the desserts and salad for the drive back home. The eagerly chocolate balls are delicious The salad was healthy and tasty. Anyone passing by or living in Sudbury please do visit this place. Vegan vegetarian options available.

Paying with debit through at the drive-thru, I go to tap: "Oh there is actually a prompt on the machine you need to look at first" It's a tip prompt at a drive-thru. So embarrassing it can't even be named. Just point the machine at you and look away. It has nothing to do with the employees at all. It's the employers who should be ashamed in that they refuse to pay a liveable wage while unabashedly relying on customers to subsidize wages. Salute is McDonalds with extra steps.

Very cozy atmosphere with good tasting coffee. The turkey Havarti sandwich was good .Their oatmeal fruit mini bowl was delicious! Their regular coffee was really tasty, and their medium roast was very strong, It was really good. It has a nice lounge area with a couch for a cozy chill Spot. It has plants for natural energy vibe . You would come to this place if you're wanting to have a nice cup of coffee with a small snack , relax, talk with friends or study. Relaxed environment feel but still high class. I would recommend it. The price varies but it cost me $14 for a coffee and a sandwich. So bring 20 bucks for one person.

Cinnamon roll is pretty good, the ice maple latte wasn't stirred property, and even once I mixed it properly it was still rather bitter so maybe ask for extra sweetness. The hot version I got of that as well was warm but not even remotely hot at all and the maple flavor isn't prominent whatsoever. Likely it isn't stirred property as well. The bagels look home made but my gf says it feels like it's missing something on it and it was a little extra crispy and shaped a little disformed. The strawberry fruit latte looks and tastes like blueberry, it's still good but nothing fancy. The inside was really cute from what we seen outside and the staff were nice! we'll try it out one more time and if it is disappointing again we won't be coming back. But it's a new establishment so give it a try, maybe you'll find something you like.

It was my first time at Kingsway location (been to the one on regent several times). Ordered cookie cup and blended salted caramel mocha. My drink was amazing, staff was friendly and I loved the cozy interior. Will definitely be back!!!

This is a cute little hidden gem. Located in downtown Sudbury, offering Montreal type style bagels. They only sell the popular items you’d find in bagel shops in Montreal; like sesame seed, everything, salt & pepper and cinnamon. They source their ingredients locally, which makes me a big fan of this shop. Not sure how long they been in business, but check it out. The breakfast bagel is delish.

Love this little local business and always have some of their bagels stoked in my freezer at home for a quick bagel fix! They do a great job at incorporating local products on their menu and their bagels are always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend that you check out this little Downtown Sudbury gem for a fantastic breakfast/lunch in a clean, bright and trendy decorated space. Northern Ontario is lucky to have them!

I've ordered the same sandwich twice previously, so I know how it should look and taste. This morning when I ordered online, I forgot to input that I wanted a lunchtime pickup. They texted me half an hour later letting me know it was ready. I texted back saying sorry for my mistake, that I would reorder (and pay again) for the proper pickup time. I said they could just give the first sandwich to a hungry person. I reordered, never got a text confirming it was ready at my lunchtime, showed up to get it, and the woman behind the counter handed me a bag and told me they just made it fresh for me. I unwrapped the bagel and it was NOT hot or even warm, as it had been the 2 previous times, and the lettuce is totally soggy. This leads me to believe they didn't make a new one fresh, and instead just gave me the first one, which had been sitting on the counter at room temp for 3+ hours. This is NOT safe food-handling practice, and had I chosen to eat it, I could have gotten sick. On top of that, I graciously paid twice for the sandwich, because the timing error was my mistake. This is truly disappointing, and they have lost my trust. Update Oct 25, 2023: The assumptions the owner claims I make are not assumptions; they are based on my back-of-house work history in food production and service totalling nearly a decade. I've been trained and licensed to prepare and serve food in multiple settings, not the least of which being 2 university dining halls; as well as a high-volume brew-pub, a Lebanese cuisine lunch spot, a pastry and lunch deli in the middle of a downtown hub in Portland, a high-volume BBQ restaurant, and a vegetarian juice and wrap restaurant. I have been trained and certified in safe food handling in Oregon, California, Kansas, and Ontario, Canada. I stand by my statements. I have no interest in damaging Salty Dog's reputation: my interest is in alerting them to what my experience was, and how they might take a closer look at their quality control standards, including employee training.

One word: Awesome. I stopped here this morning for breakfast and coffee because my work is doing a job across the street. I am SO glad I did. I ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich on a cinnamon sugar bagel, and a coffee. The bagel sandwich was incredible. Tons of flavour, all evenly throughout. Nothing overpowering. The bagel itself was very good. The coffee was the medium roast from north bay. It was good. I’m not a medium roast kind of guy, but I was satisfied. A very even flavour with a smooth finish. Overall, I was very happy with the food, and the service was great. Thanks Salty Dog Bagels!

Sad that I order a breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel. I get home and have a fried egg, roasted pepper and cheese on a cinnamon bagel. Gross, who would eat that concoction?? That was my first and last visit. Wow, just got a reply from owner and get a "Sorry not Sorry" answer. I was the only customer in the store at the time and really don't understand the mistake . Maybe have your counter people open their ears (turn down the radio) and pay attention(who needs to pay attention? If you don't care about what your customer gets. Again, you have lost a bagel lover customer.

Came here on Canada Day and it was one of the few places open. I’m glad it was, me and my friends ordered the veggie bagel sandwich with the rosemary and salt bagel and I think we can all agree it was phenomenal. Ingredients were super high quality, and it was clearly made with care. The service was very friendly as well. 10/10 would go again 💯

MMM MMM MMM! Delicious bagels, and excellent customer service. I didn't catch her name but the manager there is really friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure a great customer experience. Furthermore, I appreciated that they have plenty of vegan and dairy-free options. The vegan cream cheese is among the best I've ever had, and I'm curious if it's made in-house.

I recently purchased a cake from Anna-Laura for my partner’s birthday per their request. Tl;Dr review - do not sleep on these cakes, they’re awesome. Extended review: I’ve been getting baked goods from here since they opened. They have always been top notch. I’m an amateur bakist myself and appreciate a bakery that can produce items beyond my own capabilities. Their cake does not deviate from this trend. There is no way I could replicate this quality of baking myself. I ordered a pistachio raspberry double layer cake. I won’t lie, it was expensive. However, was the cake worth what I paid? Absolutely. The quality of the baking was excellent, taste was unique and something I hadn’t had anywhere else before, texture was on point and it made even the pickiest person it served happy. Of note: the double layer cake is hefty - it will serve 8 people two slices of cake comfortably. Service: second to none, they care about how they treat people and it shows. I ordered a week prior and they were just finishing the cake fresh to order (down to the minute) by the time I said I’d pick up. Cake was fresh as can be and I couldn’t be happier. 1000% would recommend Anna-Laura for both cakes and baked goods in general.

This Sudbury bakery is a hidden gem! The service is friendly and fast, making the experience feel welcoming from the moment you walk in. The pastries are fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. There’s a great variety to choose from, including some unique flavours you won’t find elsewhere. Everything is well packaged, whether you're dining in or taking it to go. The seating area and washrooms are clean, adding to the comfortable atmosphere. I haven’t tried the coffee yet, but it’s available. Free parking was a bonus. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of these tasty treats!

This morning was my first time eating here and it’s my new favourite breakfast spot. The portion are big, you get your money’s worth and the bread is sourdough made in house fresh, absolutely delicious. Then we get to the desserts. The creme brulee cookie is the best cookie I have ever had. I am not trying to over sell it. A must try for anyone in the Sudbury area

Wow! The best dessert croissants ever—both the pistachio and almond choices are absolutely delicious… the blueberry donut was good but a touch too sweet. Service is great. Location of bakery inside the breakfast Béni eatery. So walk straight in and skip the usual long line that is NOT for the bakery itself. Negatives: need regular croissant for nut allergy people! And more choices please! No sitting area for people to enjoy to pastry…

Favourite bakery in town! Delicious fluffy pastries that feel like you’re eating clouds! Cookies are soo good (Creme brûlée is the best one!) and oh that cinnamon bun…. You need to go there. Seriously. Go. You won’t be disappointed (try the pistachio croissant!)

We have always great experiences here, usually we just get a coffee and a latte. Recently we were celebrating an anniversary and decided to get a few baked treats to try. The pistachio croissant was a favorite, but we also loved the chocolate chip cookie, the pumpkin cinnamon bun, and the apple pastry (can't remember if it was a Danish or a tart) everyone loved the variety of desserts it was a good thing I got two of each! We have a birthday to celebrate next month and I think we are going to try one of their cakes.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and was very disappointed. The bread was hard and poorly prepared, with big chunks missing and falling apart. The egg and cheese were just thrown together without care. For the price, I expect at least a decent sandwich, but this was not edible. Very poor quality and no attention to detail.

Service can be slow. Morning baked goods do not always seem fresh. Staff do do their best, I will say that. Feel a lot of the issues stem from the higher ups (I've seen how more staff are present when corporate visits) & the unique circumstances that are directly related to their location.

If there was any rating below 1 I would give it . Its been more than a month that me and my wife have been going to tim in downtown for flavoured iced lattes and every time we go there we have to come again and ask them to remake it each and every day sometimes we get iced coffee instead of iced latte as well ……. Poor customer service

This Tim Hortons told me 4 weeks ago I could not take my tiny dog in the store even though I was holding it so I bought a brand new dog carrier so on my walks I can put her inside to bring into the store. I was told it was fine by an employee after talking to a manager. 1 month later today I go in and now they are telling me again that I am not allowed even with her in a carrier after it was supposed to be fine. This is discriminatory and I am considering putting in a complaint with the government about this!

Every time I come to this Tim Hortons I leave in a bitter mood. The staff don’t seem to care about their jobs and there is zero sense of urgency. I routinely wait 20 minutes for a singular drink. I have been to over 100 Tim Hortons and this is by far the worst one I have ever been to. Do better.

Worst service and food experience. Ordered Veggie Habanero wrap along with hashbrown in it and they freaking forgot to put the hashbrown in the wrap and charged whole price. Learn how to provide customer service. unacceptable and shows a lack of attention to detail and care for the customer experience. It’s frustrating to pay for something and not receive what was ordered.

Their coffee is amazing! Karine and her team are constantly updating the menu with new and delicious creations. This is my go to coffee and ice cream spot. Whether you like a speciality coffee or something more plain, you need to try this place!! And to top it all off, their ice cream is amazing as always.

My fiancee and I stopped by Bitter Bill’s on a nostalgic trip to where she spent time at her grandparents’. This place was amazing - the owner was super friendly and our frozen yogurt with daily made waffle cones were amazing. I got the Nutella and banana which I loved, and she loved hers as well - with raspberries.

I was thrilled to see the updated space and new drink menu! The iced drinks are delicious and a great afternoon pick me up. I love that we now have a cute café space in the Vally that I can walk to!! Excited to support this local business!

One of Sudbury’s best and healthiest fast food choices. Their smoothies do not taste sugary and are healthy. Lots of vegan choices available as well. Tempeh and Teriyaki balls are alternative to meat.

So dissapointed with our sandwiches today. For the price you're paying, I would expect them to be made better. Subways sandwiches are better quality. We got the chicken pesto and feta sandwiches, which I've gotten in the past and it was delicious (so I was really looking forward to eating here), however today was not the case 🤢 The bread was stale and crumbling, they made the sandwiches on a surface that was clearly soaked with who knows what because the bottom layer of the bread was soggy from the prep surface. There was lettuce on our sandwiches (which is not one of the listed ingredients), hardly any onions or peppers and the sandwich wasn't heated, it was cold. Any time I've gotten this sandwich, it was always heated. It's such a shame that the menu items are delicious but the quality of the food they make is not work overpriced food. Won't be coming here again 😔

Awful. I ordered a vegan smoothie (strawberry banana). It was just almond milk with a touch of pink and ice cubes. Told the girl and she said that's what a vegan smoothie is like. It is not. It was completely liquid. Never again.

I got the pesto salad, fruit and chicken wrap. The pesto salad was delicious! the fruit was fresh and the wrap was tasty. I got all this in a bottle of water for 12 bucks it's a nice healthy option for me because I'm pregnant. I'd recommend to anybody who wants to eat a little healthier. I've read a lot about the customer service on here, I don't know if it's the old owners or what? I noticed that the owners that own the Thai place own cultures as well. I had extra friendly service I would go back for sure.

I ordered a smoothie and it was disgusting! I've had smoothies here before and they have all been great. I brought it back to kindly let them know that something was off, it was almost like old freezer burned fruit. I suggested that and she wouldn't take my feedback or offer to adjust or anything. She said...its because it's a banana and strawberry with almond milk. Which I've had before. It was called Dream Smoothie with was awful. I couldn't even drink it. This was Oct 15th 2022 at 5pm

They really pack the bowl full of veg - to the point it's impossible to eat out of. They should consider larger containers, as opening is messy and trying to combine the ingredient thoroughly so you're not just left with romaine leaves at the end is messier. If changing the packaging is not an option, layer the toppings in the romaine and lettuce because it's too messy for customer to mix. They also give the smallest amount of chicken/animal protien source. Overpriced for a bowl of vegetables and a couple mouthfuls of chicken. It may as well be vegan.

Ordered a cheese bagel with butter and an everything bagel with cream cheese and bacon. Received a plain bagel with butter and no bacon on the everything. Brought it back to be corrected. When I opened the everything bagel almost all the cream cheese was in the hole. Brutal. The woman at the drive thru was very nice and so was the man at the counter when I went inside. But whoever was making the food could probably use more training or is sacrificing quality for speed. I'd rather wait the extra minute for the proper order than have to park and go inside to have it corrected. Update: This locations drive-thru seems to mess up my order almost every time I go there. I just paid $5.05 for a small ice cap with an espresso shot... surprise.. no espresso. Will not be returning.

I’m not one to come on here and complain but My boyfriend & I went to lively Tim Hortants to get two bagels… one of our bagels had PLASTIC in it…. We were very disappointed & well to be honest grossed out :/ I have never had this happen to me and I’ve been going to the same Tim’s since I was a child, as I understand things happen I still wanted to warn people .

One of the worst stores I’ve ever had to frequent unfortunately. The drive-through line is is brutal every morning understaffed. And when you do get your order eight out of 10 times it’s wrong, even if they write the right thing on the cup. If you can avoid, avoid.

The staff provide amazing service and quick serving timing of the drinks , and the food is also good specially the garlic bread , that's one of the best I have tried on the Tim's.

I use mobile order several times a day at this location, and it’s never ready when I arrive. I end up waiting every single time, which completely defeats the point of using mobile ordering. It’s frustrating, especially when I’m on a tight schedule. This really needs improvement.

Sunday August 3 around 6:30 am we went through drive through and ordered 2 wraps and I customized one for my liking and they made it the normal way. I asked for no chipotle and asked for mayo instead but still got chipotle and a sausage wrap when I asked for a bacon one

Nice Starbucks location. They have a really nice patio and a nice seating area inside. The staff were friendly and i got my order fairly quickly. No complaints.

This branch has a good location where one can actually spend time in a leisure activity like reading or get some work done. It's spacious and has different seating options. The location doesn't feel alienating, like some other cafes that are engulfed by depressing parking lots. The coffees are good, as expected, on most days. Lately, the hygiene and cleanliness of the store has been questionable, as there are spills or stains that are not wiped. The adult staff are professional and pleasant to interact with; they seem experienced, not just as baristas in a customer-facing service world, but also as mature people. But some of the younger staff are standoffish and arrogant. The stout young man is perennially pissed off. Like a pitbull. It's amusing. Overall, this is a wonderful cafe to hang out with friends or spend quality time with oneself with a nice hot cuppa joe.

We used to love going here and have spent a ton of money here in the past. There has been a significant change over in staff. Since then , with no exagération every order Ive placed has been wrong. Not sure if it’s a language barrier or people that just don’t care. Not only was my $50 order wrong again today, but one of the staff w a beard and a black puma t-shirt scratched his eyes and continued to make drinks. Very poor food handling. Bring back the old staff because this place is now dirtier, garbages are over flowing , dirtier bathrooms. It was significantly different and a great place prior to new staffing.

Really disappointed with my visit. The employee was rude and unprofessional, and the coffee tasted terrible—definitely not the quality I expect from Starbuck

I went to Starbucks yesterday to order a drink. 1 hour was left for closing and many customers were sitting there too. A young was hesitant to take order at the counter was pretty rude. It was very a bad experience . Not gonna visit again this storr.

I love Tim Hortons but this location piss me off so much. I get that the staff are busy but they never listen or read the actual orders that customers put in. For example, my friend can’t stand the taste of sauce in her food so she make sure to ask for no sauce, but even when she does they always put sauce and blame it on it is “busy”. Which I get that but it happened at least 5 times since the beginning of the year. Next example is when I get a tea from there and I ask for honey, they either don’t put the amount I asked for, or they just don’t put any at all. Today I went in and asked to make sure that there was honey in my tea, and the staff member looked at me straight in the eyes and said yes. Because I was in a rush I left the store without tasting my tea. When I eventually did, it was bitter. No sweet added at all. Plus this time it wasn’t busy. Idk what we have to do to feel listen there. It seems to me that they do it on purpose to ignore what we put in for our orders. Very annoying and disrespectful.

I left Sudbury many moons ago but come back a few times a year to visit my parents. I was delighted to bump into this trendy cafe. The young man working today was so sweet, our sandwiches were yummy (panini bread Is made locally), ambiance is fun and we love the concept. Good sound system, good music! We loved every thing about it!

The best local Cafe to hang out with friends at. The menu is awesome, it's affordable and there is a huge variety of board games to choose from! Also, they serve amazing cheesecake and lemonade

My son and I had a wonderful time on our date the other day. We enjoyed playing with many games and eating the delicious pannini. He was 5 years old and he said that was the best sandwich he ever had.

Wow, these are easily the best paninis in Sudbury. Great coffee too. Good selection of boardgames to choose from as well and a great decor. Could spend all day here if you wanted.

I went to this cafe to see how it compared with others in town. I was pleasantly surprised by how modern it was. I believe they may market to families as opposed to students. Regardless I had an iced drink and it was quite good. I spoke shortly with their staff and they were nice.

Best place in down to study, catch up, laugh and enjoy an old fashioned board game. Friendly staff, owned and operated all locally by millennials. Oh did I mention the paninis and cheesecake.... its a must try!

Best place in town to enjoy a coffee and/or play a board game with friends or family. The owners are great people also. Would totally recommend.

Service was top notch, couldn't ask for more. Polite, kind, and overall amazing! Food however, was extremely poor. Microwaved food (yuck), and sausage that was cold in the centre made this a less than enjoyable experience. Would return maybe for a coffee, but never again for food. Not the employees fault (employees are amazing), rather the standards in this restaurant are less than expected. Won't be returning, don't recommend anyone else does either.

Workers are great and give great service, but the coffee tastes super weak almost like they're reusing coffee grounds and I drink my coffee black.

Just got hair in my wrap, thats gross, do better, put a hairnet on, your jobs not hard. Putting a hairnet on and washing your hands are the litteral only 2 qualifications

I was on my way to Sudbury from Timmins and stopped by this Tim Hortons for a coffee and a bite. I found the store to be quite clean especially the bathrooms! The staff were super friendly and efficient. I wasn’t sure what to try to eat and staff (can’t remember his name) suggested I try the new Supreme sandwich and it was really yummy! Coffee was perfect, as always!

The Staff at the Dowling location are super friendly, amazing service, and its a very peaceful atmosphere! I'm definitely coming to the Dowling location more often in the morning! But only if I have the cash flow!

I was here on June 29th at 7:58 pm to have a snack and study. The workers behind the counter were playing heavy metal music and every few minutes using profanity, loud enough for customers to hear very clearly. This really destroyed the atmosphere and is not what one would expect of a small town Tim Hortons.

My food is almost always wrong. My bagel is always either barely toasted at all or completely charred like this, twice last week it was given to me with cream cheese instead of butter. The only reason I rated 2 stars instead of 1 is because they are usually pretty quick, especially in the drive thru.

Staff is unprofessional . Giving looks before taking the order. Literally 3 of the staff member walked by just looking and no one took the order .

Products are good average timhortons but often out of items like popular timbits/donuts/ crispy chicken earlier than you'd expect
