THE BEST coffee shop on the st.Thomas island. Excellent coffee, amazing food. We found it on the way to the airport located at the heart of the island. A must to visit! Thank you guys you made our last minute of the trip just perfect!

One of the worst salad bowls I’ve ever had, for $17 ! Ordered the Veg Out bowl with sweet potatoes added. And when I opened it later, the bowl didnt have half the ingredients mentioned in the menu. No hummus, no tomatoes, no sprouts and the “mixed greens” was just lettuce. She had told me they were out of roasted beets, so I expected that but she didnt mention that it would just be a bowl full of lettuce and sweet potatoes with some dressing (the dressing was good though). I expected better from the reviews of the place, extremely disappointed.
Suchismita S — Google review
The soup came out burnt tasting and the wrap I said for no spice but came out spicy. The only thing that tasted okay was one of the paninis but it didnt have the contents that they said it would. But the berry blast smoothie I got was really good. Very cute place, but the food not so much. I recommend only going for the drinks.

I stayed out on the island of St Thomas for a little over a month and absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The atmosphere, service and food are unsurpassed. This is hands down the BEST PLACE to grab breakfast and a latte on the island. There is beautiful art on the walls, plenty of parking and low carb options that I wasn't finding anywhere else. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Food was fantastic, fresh, healthy and abundant in size. I chatted with the friendly kitchen staff. It made a great brunch spot before catching our plane home. But don't worry if you miss it...the Barefoot Buddha on the Fly awaits you at the airport, too.

I love Barefoot Buddha! Something about a coffee shop feels cozy and makes you feel at home, and this place really does that too. The staff greets me by name, even the chef. The wonderful lady who makes the coffee is an artist, and the food and drinks are unparalleled. Very creative combination of flavors that guarantee a quality experience. I am filled with joy every time I come here and feel a little more at home. I appreciate each and everyone of you for everything you do. Thank you! Do yourself a favor if you are considering going here… go repeatedly, you’ll never get sick of it:)

We were looking for a place to get some vegan food for lunch and found this one right outside the cruise port. We had sandwiches, which were delicious! We tried the veg out, maker veg, and sweet potato Rueben. The Rueben was the best! Good fresh iced tea and lemonade, too.
Jacqueline B — Google review
Great coffee spot and healthy shakes. The food options are fantastic. Every time I have had a breakfast sandwich or a regular lunch sandwich. They always are good. Outdoor and indoor seating is very comfortable. Across the street from cruise ship dock Havensight Mall.

This prestigious Michelin-starred fine dining establishment takes comfort food to new heights, offering a delightful Caribbean flair that adds an extra layer of flavor to their carefully curated menu.
Such a wonderful dining experience! I called to make a last minute reservation for my husband and I. Once notified it was our honeymoon, our lovely server Abby had a handwritten sign on our table waiting for us. During our meal the chef Jason walked over to ask how things were and gave us some insight on local food. Their food however… was amazing!!! We had a salad as our starter (forgot the name but it has cashews and passion fruit dressing which was sooooo delicious!!!) Incredible unique flavors and large portions, which were a blessing in comparison to other high quality restaurants on the island. I got the salmon risotto and my husband got the lionfish and sweet potato fries. (The sauce was amazing!!!) Everything was wonderful. Next time we will be back for dessert and wine! Thank you again for having us 🩷

Stopped in randomly for a quick lunch and wine. Wine and staff was great. Very welcoming and gave tons of recommendations for the island. I got the pasta with Alfredo it could've used a little more salt and flavor but I did eat it all. My husband got the fish and sweet potato fries. They were the best sweet potato fries we've ever had lol we talked about them the whole trip
Kayla W — Google review
All around excellent experience. Had the blackened Lionfish tacos and a ribeye steak. Perfectly seasoned, a tiny bit of bite to the blackening. Lionfish was tender, cooked just right. Dinner special was a ribeye steak with pizzaioli sauce. This was supposed to be a 14oz ribeye, but mine was at LEAST 24oz, cooked rare, exactly how I ordered it. Excellent cut of steak with nice marbling, well seasoned and topped with garlicky pizzaioli sauce with nicely roasted tomatoes, green and red peppers. Will definitely go there again when I'm on St Thomas again

I can't say enough good things about our dinner 9/29/25. We have been coming to St Thomas for 7 years and this was our 2nd time being their guest, we have a son with some food allergies and each time the staff has gone out of their way to makes sure he is safe and has something to eat. Our visit this year we had the pleasure of having Aaliyah sever us and she went above and beyond, she was perfect and communicated multiple times with the kitchen about the allergy and making sure everything came out perfect. The Twisted Cork is doing it right and we will be back!
Jake L — Google review
Everything about this gem of a restaurant was excellent. The service, the cocktails and of course the food. I had grilled red snapper and my husband had vegan crab cake. Both exceptional. Please do not miss the bread pudding with bourbon maple house made ice cream.
Renee H — Google review
We had a wonderful dinner here - the portions were massive (almost unnecessarily so), flavors and textures were incredible, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. Highlight for me was the salmon risotto, hands down. The salmon was cooked to perfection - still soft and practically melt in your mouth in the center. The risotto was not too overpowering. And I loved the onion crisps - the crunchiness balanced out the dish.
Vy N — Google review
The food was delicious. We had the lion fish and chips and the twisted burger. We loved both. The lion fish is a firm and not fishy fish, well battered and the burger was large and flavorful. For dessert we shared the ballpark pie and it was a must order. Must visit when in Frenchtown.

Good restaurant within walking distance to our hotel. We arrived shortly after opening and had the restaurant to ourselves. Nice atmosphere with impeccable service! The Lionfish and Chips were ok, Chicken Caprese sandwich was awesome.

Restaurant
Cruz Bay Landing is a restaurant and bar located in the heart of Cruz Bay, St. John. It offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a meal, with popular dishes like seared scallops and Mahi Mahi. The establishment overlooks Cruz Bay and provides a great spot to savor the beauty of St. John while indulging in American and Caribbean cuisine. With its diverse menu, it's an ideal place for breakfast or any other meal of the day.
We were three weary travelers from the Upper West Side NYC who landed at Cruz Bay Landing, tired, and hungry. We had outstanding service, fantastic food, and they even made a special meal for our son. You can’t beat this atmosphere, and if you love wild birds, this is your place! The dishes were delicious, and the frozen drinks are so incredible. Hats off to the chef! Wonderful service, friendly staff, and we will definitely go back again. Thank you so much!

Really cool little stop while in St. John. Ordered the Asian Tuna Salad for me and Bacon Cheeseburger with fries for my partner. The tuna steak was really delicious, the salad part needed some spunk to it so I requested an extra dressing and the addition of Feta cheese and it made all the difference! Would definitely suggest the salad with the additions. Very generous portion. The burger was also a great portion. It was ordered to be cooked medium and came out more medium well, so suggestion would be a medium rare if you like a more tender burger! Staff was very nice but it was definitely understaffed. We waited 15 minutes after being seated just to be addressed as there was one bartender and only one server noticeable on a Saturday at 4:30. We did see another couple leave that was there prior to us arriving and was waiting to be served also so might just need some fine-tuning as far as having enough staff available. The atmosphere was nice. Restaurant also sells clothing and has a store attached. I would certainly return and possibly try other items off the menu. Enjoyed eating on the patio!

A quaint little place to grab breakfast before hitting the beach. Outdoor tables and chicks to feed. Always quick and a great coffee selection. Ate here two days in a row.

This is a review for the venue and coffee shop and bar only. We did not eat here! The coffee shop was nice, all the basics plus coffees with Carib flair. Staff in shop and at bar were terrific… friendly, fun, personable and fast! The outdoor bar is nice size and comfortable. Drink was small, but good! Nice outdoor seating area. Little park with local vendors selling souvenirs adjacent to dining area…. Good place to stop for a morning coffee and/or cocktail on St. John!

While visiting St John, I came here for lunch and dinner. That's how good it was. Just really good food in great ambiance. Right?I recommend coming here for dinner So you can watch a beautiful sunset while you eat. Everything we had was great and the service was awesome. Can get a little hot but they have fans to try and make your experience more pleasant.

Hands down, the best place for breakfast on St. John's. I'm not even going to entertain another option. We took a taxi here everyday for breakfast from the Westin. They didn't disappoint at all. I hate I can't remember my waitress's name because she was nothing short of awesome. Ask about food, she answered. Ask about entertainment, she knew. As about souvenirs, she directs you. Ask about a hike, she details them for you. Each day, she was helpful. A Cruz Bay gem. Everything she suggested, we did. Ok back to the food. Amazing! The 1st day I ordered the Short stack pancakes 🥞 Never again. 2 of the biggest pancakes ever. I didn't even eat dinner because I was still full. From that point on, I ordered a single pancake 🥞 😋 So good. So fluffy. The bacon 🥓 is top tier. Very thick and fried to perfection 👌🏽 The home fries are seasoned just right. Not spicy was let's you know it's a member of the spice family. My husband floated between the classic breakfast and the meat lovers omelette 😋 Both were great! Ummmm, long story short; EAT HERE
Van — Google review
I didn’t personally care for the fish, but the portions were good. There was live music. My wife would want me to be kind, so Ill say that the live music inspired me to pursue my dreams. If that person was being paid money to do, um, That… then how can I ever tell myself that Im not good enough to do something. It’s possible it transcended sound and impacted my taste buds, and if so, my apologies to the chef for the 4-stars instead of 5.

Sun Dog Cafe is a charming courtyard eatery located in a shopping center on St. John. Despite its small kitchen, it has gained recognition as a popular dining spot for travelers. The cafe offers a diverse menu featuring fish, burgers, tacos, sandwiches, and more. Visitors can enjoy lunch or dinner at this alfresco gem and savor dishes like the hummus appetizer and Shrimp Vera Cruz.
We came here for dinner in St. John and had a great experience. Our group ordered the grilled and crispy mahi tacos. The grilled tacos were delicious and were very well seasoned, and the crispy tacos had very generous portions of fish on them. The lemon caper sauce was also very flavorful. We ordered the crab cake sandwich and the burrito. The crab cake was good, it had a lot of crab, but it could have used more seasoning. The burrito was delicious, both the chicken and mango salsa were amazing, but the top had a lot of sour cream on it. The burrito came with a side of chips, and some of them tasted stale. We ordered a to-go key lime pie slice which was tiny and unimpresseive. Would not do that again. Other than the key lime pie, everything was very delicious.

Sun Dog Cafe, located in the middle of Mongoose Junction, is a great spot with excellent staff and food. They serve some of the best steak and shrimp tacos, as well as ahi tuna, on the island.
Ed M — Google review
We spent 2 days on St. John, and found this place on accident looking for another place with pastries that was closed in the same area. We went simple both times and got bacon, egg and cheese muffin sandwiches with fried potatoes. They were delicious. I don’t even like fried potatoes but I liked these. Cool atmosphere, and good vibes.
Dan C — Google review
My wife and I had a great lunch at Sun Dog Cafe! The ahi tuna poke bowl was fantastic, and I enjoyed the grilled mahi tacos. Waiter was attentive and when between two dishes, he steered me in the right direction when noting the mahi was local. A great spot for cool drinks and flavorful food when shopping at Mongoose Junction or after a day at the beach!

Every time I’m in St. John I eat at Sun Dog and it NEVER disappoints!! Eggs benedict is my favorite breakfast meal and their Blue Claw Crab Benedict was the best I’ve ever had! Plus, the staff is always so friendly. You have to check this place out next time you’re visiting the USVIs.
MacKenzie K — Google review
Ate here on our first day in St. John and loved it so much we ended up coming back almost every day. The food is great, the drinks are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. It’s definitely a must-do on your USVI vacation.
Dj L — Google review
Ate dinner here last night and it was incredible. They had AMAZING live music with a singer that sounded just like adele and an amazing guitarist. The vibe was also wonderful, everyone was so friendly and talkative, we learned about the singer’s lives and socialized with the tables around us. It felt like a nice tight circle. The male singer even came up to tables individually and talked with us which was very special. We ordered drinks which we all enjoyed thoroughly, my personal FAVORITE was the “prisoner of St John”, it was my favorite drink on this trip so far. As we listened to the incredible live music, we ate some tacos and burritos which were all exceptional (my chips were not stale at all)! We finished the night ordering another round and enjoying the cozy vibe. Hats off to the server who was managing everything by himself, very impressive and efficient. Would definitely come here again!
Erin L — Google review
The drinks, the food, the courtyard, everything was so so great. The drinks were refreshing and flavorful, the food was out of this world, I got the vegan bowl with shrimp, and my friend got the tacos. Both of them were beautifully prepared and bursting with color and flavor. I loved the fresh locally grown greens on the vegan bowl, and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The bar area was really cute and seemed like a great spot to meet new friends. Our server, Juliet, was so friendly and had great recommendations for exploring as well! Will definitely make it a regular visit when I head over to St. John.

Tickles Dockside Pub is a laid-back open-air waterfront eatery located near the airport and cruise ship ports. It offers American pub food and drinks with a beautiful view of the ocean and extravagant yachts docked nearby. Customers can enjoy their meals in a relaxed atmosphere, either indoors or at outside seating booths.
I very seldom will rate a place with 5 stars. This place had it all good food at a reasonable price. Our waitress was very friendly, prompt, and informative. If you're looking for a great breakfast, don't miss this place. Feed the Tarpon on your way out the door they are big and hungry. What good views of the dock and bay. Go give this place a try.

Found this little hidden gem before our flight out. DEFINITLEY worth a visit. Waterfront where most of the yachts and larger boats dock. Also right next to the ferry that goes to St. John. Our waitress was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Excellent Mahi sandwich, with a more delicious desert. The breeze going through there makes it very comfortable with the open concept. If you want to sit at the waterfront, they have waterside seating. Would definitely go back again.

Nice eatery/pub on the shoreside of the harbour in St. Thomas - had lunch there while waiting for the ferry to St. John. Salads and sandwiches were nice and plenty. Pricing seems reasonable and the views from the pier are to be gazed for days if you wish. NOt fancy at all, but hearty saervice!
Morten K — Google review
Tickles is a typical marina/dockside beach bar. Sweet drinks, cold beer, average food. It's a decent place, just not great. We tried the painkiller cocktail, mainly rum and fruit juice... it was simply that. For food we ordered the kalaloo soup, caesar salad with mahi, and the grilled mahi sandwich. The best thing on those plates was the fries served with the sandwich... piping hot and cooked perfectly. An added pinch of salt made them supreme. The mahi in both dishes was a bit "fishy" tasting, not fresh clean taste. The salad was OK, croutons made from rye bread (we think). Other guests had the grilled mahi platter and the fried chicken sandwich. The grilled mahi was described as "good." The fried chicken sandwich came out 20 minutes after the other food, no explanation. Fresh fries were brought out on the side .... If you're here in Crown Bay Marina, without transportation, and need to eat, Tickles will do...

UPDATE 2024: The menu has been changed and they no longer offer the Ruben. Tried the Club and the Burger with Tickles Special Sauce, which was excellent. PAST REVIEW: Hands down the best Ruben sandwich I have had at any restaurant, meat was good but not so much that you have just meat in the sandwich and bread was toasted with butter but not hard. Had the smash burger with bacon and cheese. Everything was good and didn’t take too long. Hoping to get out to breakfast sometime, they stop breakfast at 11am.

Stopped in for breakfast before our flight and we’re very surprised at the quality of the food, our server was great- Amaila(sp) and sitting dockside for some boat googling. Highly recommend the burrito, banana pancakes and the French toast. Thanks for a great breakfast.

This is a beautiful spot near the water. Near the airport and one of the cruise ship ports, Tickles is a great place to grab a bite and enjoy a local drink. I placed my order to go but the customers that dined in stated that they loved the atmosphere. As I walked around the restaurant I realized that I should have dined in. Laid back atmosphere, over-looking the ocean with extravagant yatchs docked near the restaurant, TICKLES will not disappoint. Also, the home fries were tasty! The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable this would be a nice place to visit when you're in St Thomas.

Best coffee sound this whole area. They are opened on Sundays and coffee only $3. Great iced coffee. The owners are from Massachusetts so thank god!!! My husband this whole trip has been trying different coffee and this was it. Great music, seating area, atmosphere.

We called an audible when arriving in the AM at the Charolotte Amalie shopping area downtown... we were heading to a different place for AM coffee, and we saw Bumpa's and remembered someone recommending it to us last time we were in St. Thomas. We're always wanting to try something new! So, Bumpas is a smaller, narrow place on the second floor of a building on the waterfront street downtown. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for the view it provides of St. Thomas Bay. It's a spectacular view! The couple that run the place are super nice, and they've been in St. Thomas for decades... literally. They moved there and raised their children some 20+ years ago. We opted for our usual lattes, which were very delicious. The food selection at Bumpas is almost overwhelming, so any different things to choose from, and they all sounded good. We opted for a couple of empanada-like fried/stuffed meat pies, like a stuffed fry jack you'd find in Belize. We ordered one stuffed with "salt fish" and the other with beef. Unfortunately, we were served two of the salt fish variety, which was promptly corrected. Served with a sweet sauce on the side, and another side of blistering hot habanero sauce. The fried dough was a little bit thick on the ends, but overall the pies were good. The fish was a bit salty, but tasted great. The beef did lack a little flavor, but was still good. We would definitely good back to try other things on the menu. When the coffee is really good, it's always worth a return trip when the menu is vast. Recommend Bumpas for your coffee and breakfast/lunch dining pleasure...

This is a quick stop, we had breakfast before heading to the airport. We ordered the Monte Carlo, eggs/toast/bacon, and banana pancakes. All the items were great! The view was beautiful and it was pretty empty (there no cruise ships in port). The breeze was an added bonus from being at the higher elevation. You do have to walk around to get there and go up stairs.

The shop provides an updated list of gelato flavors on their social media, ensuring customers can always find something new to try. Visitors praise the friendly staff and quick service, making it a must-visit spot for delicious treats before setting sail or simply enjoying a leisurely break by the marina.
Took us a few minutes to find it, but after following the signs we made it in. We showed up a few minutes before they closed to get some vegan ice cream. We were so happy they had dairy free options—chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry. My husband got the regular ice cream and was pleased. The vegan flavors were good too. Employees were kind and courteous, especially when a clearly very drunk man walked in demanding rum. They have cute games outside like large jenga and connect 4 and a little free library. Great little spot!

A very fun little ice cream and coffee shop at the Crown Bay Marina, in St. Thomas, USVIs. The coffee is good, the ice cream is even better. We stopped by S&B several times before and after our recent sail out of the marina. The staff is great, always pleasant, and the orders come out quickly. Delicious coffee, great service, friendly atmosphere and mouth watering pastries. I’d recommend the Apple fritter, my daughter and niece recommend the banana nut bread. We didn’t have any ice cream… this time! But I’m sure when we come back we will. #enjoy and sip your coffee slowly. Life is too short to be rushing. 💕💃🏻

MBW Cafe & Bakery is a charming spot tucked away in a back street, offering delectable pastries and quick bites. What sets this cafe apart is its status as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing job training and placement for at-risk youth. The Brothers Workshop organization, supported by donations, teaches technical skills in culinary arts, boat repair, and carpentry. Such a friendly staff with a great mission helping at risk youth on Saint Thomas. We got the mini bites and they tasted so good! Staff were super friendly and lovely to talk to Highly suggest this place! The system was down this time so also suggest having cash just in case! Follow the signs to get here such a great find!

The cutest bakery in charlotte amalie! We got to taste their coconut and vegan chocolate pastries straight from the oven! Their mission is awesome too. The back patio smells lovely since it’s right next to their kitchen. All the staff was so attentive and everything I bought from them was so yummy! I wish I could have eaten more! I would definitely recommend MBW cafe to anyone in the area!

High ratings for this place. I just wanted to try rum cake made from scratch and it took me to enter several places and get out empty handed. The rum cake in this place is "out of this world". Virgin Islands Coffee Roasters is a small-scale coffee roaster located on St. Thomas, offering freshly roasted and packaged beans for an authentic caffeine fix. Visitors can enjoy their coffee at the cafe near the cruise port, where they also serve ice cream, Belgian waffles, fruit teas, and locally brewed coffee beers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ready to assist with recommendations or answer any questions about their excellent selection of whole bean varieties.
My partner and I always buy these coffee beans whenever we visit the island. This is honestly some of the best coffee beans I have ever purchased. If you love fresh dark roast coffee, I recommend the Sumatra Mandheling.
Alexander C — Google review
Away from home and our favorite coffee house in Sacramento, California, Sana’a Cafe, we are enjoying the best coffee house in St. Thomas, Virginia Islands Coffee Roasters. This unique flavor of Rock City Medium Roast, has the taste of smooth milk chocolate and stone fruit. They have many other unique flavors to try. Bottom line is they only do one thing and they do it right! Their expertise and passion for coffee is realized in the first sip. Preston is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and really enjoys working here. If you’re looking for good coffee, this is a no brainer. I highly recommend this place. I just wish our resort, Wyndham Limetree Beach Resort or all Wyndam resorts, would offer this coffee in their rooms. But nonetheless, it’s only a skip and a hop from the resort. My husband and I enjoyed the coffee. We will definitely be here every day to support this local Coffee Roaster. ❤️❤️❤️
Deanna M — Google review
Whenever I travel, I make it a custom to bring home fresh local roasted coffee to help support those providing fresh roasted coffee options to the local businesses. Not only do I find it cheaper, but also it allows me to bring home coffee as gifts, grind it to my process preference, and have a subtle reminder of enjoying a very nice smooth cup of coffee over a memorable atmosphere. Thank you for having a knowledgeable staff, samples available, lots of coffee bean options (fair trade and single origin) at a very affordable price for the quality of bean and roast, and easy access from the cruise port. I was honestly worried I wasn't going to find coffee to bring back home as all the other locales were either pre-ground, not freshly roasted, and double the price. Double bonus, they offered pour-over travel coffee packs, so I can enjoy an upgraded cup of coffee on the boat if I choose not to hit the onboard espresso bar. That being said, a stop here is a very niche experience and for those who are strictly looking to feed their personal need for coffee in their home setting or as gifts, but making a $10 purchase allowed me to walk away with a free iced coffee that was amazingly smooth that I just sipped in the harbour enjoying the soft breeze and view. Looking forward to stopping here again if I ever make it back to St. Thomas.

Not your typical coffee shop. Limited offerings of cold brew and drip and interesting place. Cool merch.

What a phenomenal roaster! Hubby got a cup of the “sweet, sweet Java juice” and said it is the “best brewed coffee” he’s ever had. We left with lots of beans and a few yummies too! We can even order once we get home. p.s. We found the actual coffee shop in St Croix and OMGOSH my espresso was soooo good!
Clara N — Google review
Very good service and a nice selection of coffee and merchandise. The prices were reasonable and what I would expect at any coffee shop. The outdoor seating created a pleasant way to start the day and enjoy some coffee before heading off to spend time with family and friends.

NOT ACTUALLY A COFFEE SHOP! They are a coffee roaster with a merchandise store front. They do have hot drip and cold brew available as self serve, but that's it. No hand-crafted beverages or food available. Closed on the weekends.

Fresh coffee roasters that you can watch the beans roast in the back of the shop. They have a nice selection of beans and apparel. Free cup of coffee with a $10 purchase. I took home a 1 day old freshly roasted bag of medium roast beans. My wife said they were 'just ok.' Self service.

Cafe
E's Garden Teahouse is a vibrant and eclectic establishment located just off the popular Main Street. This unique spot combines elements of a boutique, bar, art gallery, and tearoom deli. Visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of teas, including refreshing options like mango/hibiscus tea and tropical rainforest tea. The food menu offers limited but delicious choices such as seafood quiche, ham and cheese sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, green salads, cake slices, and tamarind cake.
When we walked into this tea house, it was completely quiet—nobody else there at the time. Lucky us! It gave us the chance to have an unforgettable conversation with the owner, the one and only “E.” She’s amazing. Over cups of tea, she told us all about her adventures in China, her time as a provost at St. Thomas University, and how this tea shop became her dream-come-true retirement project. Talking to her was just as special as the tea itself—she’s full of stories and so much heart. I can’t even remember exactly what we ordered because we just asked for her recommendation (which you should totally do, by the way). Whatever it was, it hit the spot. This place is more than just a tea shop—it’s the kind of spot where you can slow down, soak in some good vibes, and leave feeling inspired. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
John S — Google review
It is a nice cozy place for relaxing, drinking tea and chatting. I noticed that the use of tamarind is popular in the island of St. Thomas as a lot of restaurant menus included tamarind chicken, etc. So when the owner, who is very sweet and friendly, suggested the tamarind cake, we gave it a try. It was delicious with the tea. I am now inspired to find a recipe for tamarind cake to go with my black tea. :)
Ankita S — Google review
We discovered this place accidentally and it's amazing. Big variety of different teas, the food menu is limited thought. We had ham and cheese sandwich and a chicken sandwich and some green salads. The sandwich were delicious, you could tell they were fresh. We tried some tropical rainforest tea, delicious. The place has a really nice decoration. We were told baby showers, birthdays, and other events are celebrated here. The service is fantastic.
Leonida D — Google review
Lovely place with a variety of tea options both hot and cold. There is a menu for food -- I've had a variety of cake slices but the saltfish quiche is amazing! Local items sold here as well (bags, clothing, blankets, etc.). The owner is a pleasure to be around and chat with. We will be back!
Whitney H — Google review
Went here for a food tour, then went back the next day to try some more tea, it was absolutely great, reasonably priced and amazing staff. We plan on going back before we leave, definitely worth the stop and it has parking outfront for people going into the shop which was definitely convenient with the rental car. They have paintings from local artists which added to the experience.
Alexandria M — Google review
This little hidden gem is a favorite among locals. Best local and import tea blends on island. This is a great venue for your event, as well. Come check them out.
Lisa B — Google review
DELICIOUS tea and the owner (Dr. Judith) has a wealth of knowledge on the health benefits of all the different teas. It’s also actually the only tea shop on the island. Not only is the tea delicious but she is wonderful to chat with and to get to know her story.
Shannon S — Google review
Home made teas. Quiet, quaint, authentic tea shop in st. Thomas. Good wifi. Very nice owner. Definitely worth the visit. Take a $6 taxi from the Cruise Port of Charlotte Amalie to downtown. Walk through Drake's passage. Then walk east (right) past all the jewelry stores and turn left. It's nice getting away from the tourists;)

Lattes in Paradise is a popular breakfast spot in Red Hook, offering quick counter service and open-air seating on the second level with a view of the bay. It's recommended for grabbing a quick bite before heading out for the day. The staff is known for their warm greetings and delicious hot coffee, while the freshly prepared pastries and breakfast sandwiches are highly praised. Despite long lines, they efficiently serve customers, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
The green goodness, smoothie @ Lattes in Paradise was nothing less than AMAZING and just what we needed to quench our thirst in the hot sun! Our server MONICA was awesome, generous, and gracious!! She hooked our smoothie up. Go check Monica out! Good vibes, great drinks/smoothies!!
Winslow S — Google review
My husband and I ordered breakfast sandwiches, drinks and crumb cakes. The sandwiches were hot and delicious. I had an everything bagel with egg, cheese, ham and red onions. I also had the blueberry crumb cake. It was very sweet! A bit more sweet than I could prefer but still fun to try. I got a decaf, hot coffee that was good. My husband got an iced matcha latte with honey. He said that the flavor was very mild and he could hardly taste the honey. The lady taking orders was friendly and helpful. However, during our short time there, we saw multiple mistakes happen. One man was given the wrong drink, a woman was missing an ingredient on her breakfast sandwich and more. So when I got my food, I double checked to make sure that my food was correct and it wasn't. My red onion was missing. They corrected it right away but I'm glad that I had checked before we drove away.

They're a great choice before getting on the ferry to St. John as they open earlier than most on the island. They have a good choice of smoothies, coffees, and sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty but not our favorite on the island.
Zach A — Google review
Lattes in Paradise is a solid place to stop for breakfast, or lunch for that matter, they’re open ‘til 3pm. Nice selection of coffees, hot, iced! Lattes, etc. we had the 3 shot 20oz lattes, great to find a larger cup with that third shot! The coffee was really good. We didn’t order any food (breakfast sandwiches, wraps), but all food we saw coming out looked good The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Great view of marine from the patio. Nice breeze this AM too! Very cool place to hand and have a coffee, and a bite, anytime before 3pm. Recommend Lattes in Paradise!
Jim N — Google review
We absolutely loved our experience! The drinks were not only wonderful but the team of women that were working are unbelievable! This little place is such a vibe! The view is breathtaking, and if you're lucky enough to get to meet Monica, I promise her infectious attitude will just make your day! And Emmie...she was genuinely interested in us, and excited to learn about our visit and even offered up some wonderful places to visit. We saw her the next day in the grocery store and she remembered our names and hugged us like she had known us for years. Seriously, we hope the manager knows how awesome their little gem on this island is, and that they have some of the greatest group of humans working there! 10/10 all day!
Kelsey L — Google review
View is fantastic and service was friendly. Food and coffee were just okay. We had an egg & cheese bagel and breakfast burrito. The bagel was burnt and had almost no flavor, while the burrito was a little soggy. I was excited about the Salty Seas latte but it tasted like iced coffee without much flavor.

Picaso's Coffee Bar is a family-run spot known for its fresh quiches, breakfast sandwiches, and an extensive selection of flavored rums and coffees. The cozy atmosphere offers a variety of creative drinks, including the popular Snickers with peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate. While it's cash-only with an ATM available, the friendly staff and clean environment make it a favorite among locals and vacationers alike.
Found this place through a Google review on another place. They don't advertise on G-maps so don't show right up. The cafe is in the same building as the storage units at least that's how we found it. Good enough break place with lots of coffee and tea options, bagel sandwiches and other treats. I didn't see a smoothie menu so not sure they have those. Very limited seating; cash or PayPal only no credit cards.

Nice little coffee bar! They have slot machines in here as well! It’s connected to PJ’s Triple 7’s pub! Cash only or PayPal but they also have an ATM inside! They have plenty of seating and a bathroom! The coffee was very good! We both got Picaso’s cafe latte and added flavors! Nice lady and it was not even 5 minutes before we got our coffees!

Very local very small but bring a big appetite. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious!!! Everything made as you order and can't get any fresher!! If it was any fresher it would be X- rated. My favorite was the dumbbread and the blueberry bagel. Thank you ladies!

The service alone is enough to make you want to go back. They are so friendly and welcoming! Their coffee drinks are also delicious! Highly recommend the Snickers drink, frozen. We walked here 4 out of 5 days of our vacation, as it is located just outside of Margaritaville resort, to the left.
Tarah C — Google review
Interesting but solid place if you’re staying at Margaritaville. Coffees were excellent, great selection of flavors. Breakfast sandwiches were solid too, especially on bagels. $61 total for 5 sandwiches and 3 coffees for 5 of us. 5 mins walk right on main strip. There’s a casino inside too if you want to burn a few mins/ dollars.
Greg — Google review
Really great choices for coffee and you can order them hot, on the rocks or frozen. The breakfast sandwich was tasty too. You’ll find a small little shop on the side of the road with friendly faces and tasty food. If you are looking for some slot machines, you’ll find it here too! Stop by, say hi, and get some yummy treats before you head off to the beach.

Cute little cafe that does smoothies, sandwiches, and coffee drinks. I enjoyed talking to the owners; they were so friendly and I enjoyed hearing the story behind their business. There is a nice little alleyway next to the cafe for shaded seating too
Britt — Google review
As someone from Portland, OR I don't expect to find good coffee while I travel and have learned tips and tricks along the way to find hidden gems. I ended up at Parley Cafe just because it was the closest and only option from my hotel and I was pleasantly surprised! My iced vanilla latte was delicious and my simple bagel and cream cheese really hit the spot. The family working were kind and gave great advice about walking around the city. Enjoying a coffee in the secluded alley way with a good book was a perfect vacation morning.
Bridgette R — Google review
Charming spot for a familiar latte and delicious cinnamon scone. Tucked into an alley. Seating inside and out. Only place open early for a GOOD latte in the area!
Kristina W — Google review
We needed good coffee and a lite snack this AM, and Parley Cafe served up both! It’s a little bit off the beaten track, down an alley aways, but if you’re familiar with downtown Charlotte Amalie, you know the drill. If not, look up the location here and you’ll get there! Super nice owner/operator, originally from the States, but in St. Thomas for years. The lattes were perfect, espresso to milk ratio, and piping hot. We also had the cubano panini, which was da bomb! As an after thought, we picked up a pistachio muffin, which was also very good as well. I’m not one to regularly give coffee shops 5-star ratings, but Parley Cafe deserves it! Highly recommend Parley Cafe for coffee, sandwiches and snacks!

Consistently one of the best coffee shops we’ve ever been to. Every single drink we’ve had from straight espresso to lattes to the more fruity drinks are always so insanely good. And the food is exceptional as well. They have regular grab and go bagel or English muffin sandwiches but usually run specials which are always the best. We first came here with our real estate agent when we were checking out the island and now that we live here we try to come as much as possible. Good vibes and food and drink. Staff are always nice as well.

Such a perfect coffee spot. It only makes it better that it’s a quaint little market and amazing cafe too!! Such wonderful staff you can tell they really love their brand. The Virgin Islands coffee roasters beans really keep this place close to home. Local roasters always make my coffee experience more enjoyable. The seating is minimal but perfect for those slow mornings soaking up the island vibes. It’s become well known to guests from far and wide but it keeps that local corner coffee shop feel alive with the soul of the islands.

Cute, cozy place! We went there to get coffee but they also had smoothies, food, and other things like shirts, candles, ect! They had plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating! We saw three cats and a bunch of chickens and they were friendly! Not a bother at all! We ordered the CCC the coconut caramel coffee cold brew drink. If you’re used to drinking strong coffee, this might come across as a bit weaker of a brew to you. If not, enjoy!

I ordered a 16 oz frozen hot chocolate with whipped cream for only 5 dollars. My order came out in under 5 minutes. The frozen hot chocolate was delicious. It tasted almost like a milkshake but not as heavy and sugary. As soon as I took my first sip I couldn't stop drinking. Overall its a clean cute coffee shop with affordable prices and satisfying portion sizes.

I went here with my girlfriend and she ordered the banana nut latte, but ultimately the barista only put vanilla syrup into it and she didn't get any banana flavor. We went the next day for a chance at redemption but it just wasn't amazing. The baked goods look and smell great and inside there's a lot of seating area, it's very cute. Personally I got a cold brew and really didn't enjoy the flavor. The prices are the most reasonable I've seen tho so kudos to them for that

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was unmistakably welcoming—a vibrant mix of locals and visitors all enjoying their morning brew with the sound of the nearby waves setting a relaxing backdrop. The staff here, especially Coda, truly knows how to make everyone feel at home. Coda was not only efficient but incredibly entertaining, cracking jokes and sharing stories that had everyone laughing. It’s rare to find someone who not only serves you coffee but also serves up a great start to your day with their infectious humor. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, and it was nothing short of spectacular. It was huge, packed with perfectly cooked bacon and a generous helping of egg and cheese, all sandwiched between a freshly baked, buttery croissant. It’s definitely one of the best breakfast options I've had, not just at a coffee shop but anywhere! Speaking of value, The Beach Buzz offers very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality and size of the meals. It's a spot where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast without breaking the bank. The highlight for me was their range of "buzzed" lattes. I've tried them all, and each one was a delightful way to kickstart the day. Whether you prefer classic flavors or something a bit more adventurous, their lattes are smooth, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The overall vibe and atmosphere of The Beach Buzz are just awesome. It’s the kind of place that you can’t help but recommend to others, whether they’re locals looking for a new spot or travelers seeking a cozy place to enjoy their morning coffee. So, if you’re around Sapphire Beach, don’t miss out on this little treasure. It’s a spot that promises good food, great coffee, and the warmest welcomes you could imagine.

The coffee and breakfast here are good! I was looking forward to this every morning. We walked over from Sapphire Village. It was a quick walk and worth it!

Perfect little breakfast spot. Short walk from Sapphire Beach condos. Bagels are as good as you would get anywhere. Coffee is also great. Staff is extremely friendly and food comes out quick. We got the lox and the turkey bagel. Both were wonderful. Will definitely be back next time I'm in ST Thomas. Very very good

We stopped by The Beach Buzz for our morning lattes before heading to town to enjoy the shopping district. The place is pretty cool, nice location, right next to Sapphire Beach at the east end of St. Thomas, and the seating area is basically on the beach. The interior of the space is nice... it's as much a souvenir shop as a coffee shop. Our lattes were served lukewarm, and the server acted very bothered that we asked her to heat them up. Not sure how they made that mistake, it seemed the milk wasn't steamed before it was added to the coffee. But, that's a latte. On the upside, we also tried one of their breakfast sandwiches, sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. That was an awesome sandwich. So, the 3-star rating is driven by the great sandwich, offset by the terrible coffee, with a little bit of positive kudos for the great location. We found other coffee shops with minutes of the Sapphire Beach area, so we'll likely not be going back to The Beach Buzz.

Super convenient and staff was very nice. Something was up with the cappuccino/lattes though. I tried every combination and they were just not good. They all had a weird plastic aftertaste. By day 5, I switched to drip coffee. Breakfast sandwiches were pretty good and also convenient.

We had breakfast here twice during our stay. The breakfast sandwiches are great! I liked my hot mocha and the Irish cream latte as well. The lady taking our order the first time wasn't very pleasant. She was kind of in a hurry. The second time, we had a different cashier and she was much more pleasant.

Great coffee and muffins. Can't beat the view of the beach and water after getting your order. Outside seating only. The LOX bagle is terrific - loads of toppings and very filling.

It looks quaint and as I’m on vacation, I’m definitely feeling blessed and grateful. But the cashier and 2 ladies preparing food and later the manager all seemed to lack friendly customer service and they darkened the vibe of the place. They project an attitude when ordering as if I’m dumb or slow and when my wife inquired about food details it was met with impatience and wanting. The Lox bagel I ordered wasn’t toasted and just okay in taste and presentation thereby making the negative experience make this place not worth a $16 bagel. So much so we decided to carry out our food and make coffee at our condo instead getting it there. I know everything is imported here and expect higher cost but at least the customer service could be better to overcome the cost. I don’t recommend this place. It was like a bird of paradise took a dump on my sandals while on a beautiful island. I know we’ll find better places for coffee and breakfast. Just not here.
