I didn't get salt n pepper shakers the first visit and a young waiter wanted to merge two orders into one on my third. You need a key to the toilet and piano music is oddly playing in the background however the food is really good and the coffee mug is a decent size also. Love the swings as well.
Maria B — Google review
Diversity Cafe in Redcliffe delivered on all fronts for an early dinner - food, atmosphere and service. We have often walked past but for some reason we have never eaten here. Luckily most of the other places were closed and didn't open until later - so we decided to give it a try. So happy we did. My husband opted for the Chennai Express curry, which was packed with fresh veggies and beautifully spiced. While the curry was delightful, the true standout of our meal was the Black Truffle and Mushroom pizza. Just look at it! (See attached photo.) This masterpiece was generously loaded with chunky, juicy mushrooms and infused with a rich truffle flavor that elevated every bite. Unlike the skimpy toppings you often find elsewhere, this pizza was indulgent and satisfying — every slice was full of flavour and so yummy. The staff were welcoming, making us feel right at home. We chose to sit at the tall table out front to soak in the stunning view of the bay — a perfect pairing for such a memorable meal. Diversity Cafe truly hits all the right notes, and we’ll definitely be back for more - especially as Mushroom Pizza is my all time favourite.
Julie F — Google review
Had the smashed avo that had perfect balance of flavours. Also sourdough slice was nice and soft, knife went through super easily. Pancakes were very good with mascarpone and berries. Plenty of space inside and outside. Has kids corner inside. Good cafe!
Janar S — Google review
Amazing food, coffee and hospitality from the staffs. This should be a cafe with 4.8++ score on google review. Alot of stupid reviews doing injustice to this amazing gem. I'm glad I ignore those comments and visited this place to have my breakfast.
Rayner S — Google review
Right along a lively seaside strip, this café-restaurant buzzes with energy and the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and mouth-watering dishes. It’s the kind of place that immediately draws you in, with ocean air mingling with the sizzle from the kitchen and the hum of happy conversation. The menu offers a satisfying mix of flavours – whether you’re craving a hearty brunch, a fresh salad, or just a perfectly made flat white, there’s something here to hit the spot. The coffee, smooth and aromatic, stands up proudly alongside the food, making it a great all-rounder for any time of day. One of the standout features is the generous opening hours. Whether you’re an early riser looking for a breakfast bite or strolling by later in the day, you’ll likely find them open and welcoming. This flexibility makes it a go-to for both locals and the steady stream of tourists that keep the place buzzing. It’s not just about the food and coffee – the atmosphere is part of the draw. With views of the water and a vibrant, easy-going feel, it’s perfect for soaking in the coastal vibe while enjoying good food. Ideal for visitors wanting a taste of the local café culture in a scenic, convenient spot.
Yoshy Y — Google review
Really cute spot. We sat to look out at the view. The food was great. My friend had a pulled pork burger which she loved, and the chips were great. I had the zucchini and corn fritters with a side of hollandaise which was delicious! Definitely hit the spot and it came out fast so we were happy. The drinks however weren't as good... The coffee wasn't too good (according to my friend) and I tried the açai smoothie - it tasted like it had gone off (the fruit) - so I didn't end up drinking it. Overall will go back for the food and the view!!

We had a wonderful experience the customer service was outstanding we enjoyed our morning tea🤩 there was so many choices on the menu. Well done I will definitely be bringing my family back 🤗

Enjoyed their $12.50 breakfast burger and coffee deal. Loved that it included a hash brown. This place is always busy but no issue finding a seat and didn’t wait long for the food/coffee to come out.
C B — Google review
Food wasn’t bad, though nothing to write home about…what is of note is the amount each meal cost and only receiving 1 piece of toast. $14 for avo on toast, there was definitely enough avo on there for 2 pieces of toast, yet they only gave 1. Won’t be making that mistake again. Roughly $20 for the bacon benny and again only 1 piece of toast, and weirdly the eggs and sauce were on the side. Don’t mind the sauce being on the side but the eggs being separate meant they were not as warm as they could have been when it got to us. We’ve had some great meals here before but it seems to have really gone downhill, don’t think we’ll be visiting again.
Serena G — Google review
Came here because of nice cheesecake- not any more, very small portions and instead of fresh strawberry on top frozen fruit- so disappointed. Never back again:((
Mark K — Google review
Met up with family for a quick bite here. Very crowded, not really any 'atmosphere'. Service was okay - not particularly friendly or prompt. I had a mocha frappe - too icy, not mixed long enough; he had a strawberry thickshake which was okay; sis had a bottled ginger beer, and niece had a lemon, lime and bitters (bottled?). My fish salad was fresh tho they were out of salmon at midday! and the barramundi was overcooked. Hubby's halloumi and corn fritter burger once again was okay, but lacked sauce on the bun, and the fritter was more egg than corn. Little niece had a small pancake with cream and maple syrup, and we had a bowl of chips which were a bit limp, and had so salt or seasoning at all. Shared a slice of cake which had meringue thru it.
Sherry M — Google review
Very average bacon and egg roll, super soft, sugary bun. Kind of like a cheeseburger bun from Macca's that had been microwaved.
Morrissey H — Google review
Had a fantastic brunch with friends at Preece’s today . Food and coffee was great . Hard to make a choice of cake with the big selection to choose from. Loved the staff’s service, friendliness and sense of humour. Thank you We will definitely be back again
Robyn O — Google review
Beautiful cafe set by the water with amazing views of the jetty. I was greeted by Lavender, the sweet lady behind the counter. She had a smile from ear to ear and was happy to see me 😁. I ordered the dairy free option Wagyu burger with chips. It was yummy. It had a Wagyu pattie, bacon, onion, tomato, and lettuce and an egg that was beautifully runny inside. The chips were nice and hot, and the burger was a tower of a feast. All ladies were very friendly, and the chefs out the back were also personable. My mum had a selection from the dessert box. Whoah, you should see these deserts. They are next level. Superbly made with love. I'll be back for sure.

"The Oasis On The Esplanade" is a top dining spot in Redcliffe, offering an excellent breakfast menu with delicious options like eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The restaurant boasts generous servings and friendly staff, making it a great choice for a satisfying meal. Additionally, the location provides stunning views of Scarborough beach and Moreton Bay, adding to the overall dining experience.
Food was very well presented and more importantly it was very tasty. It was delivered to my table only minutes from the time I ordered despite being lunch time with all tables full. The atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet. The view across the bay made it an even more pleasant experience. I'll be back.

Nestled along a lively street, this small café packs a serious punch – easily one of the best in the area. Despite its modest size, it delivers on all fronts: excellent coffee, delicious treats, and service that makes you feel genuinely welcome. The coffee is rich and expertly made – the kind that gives you a proper kickstart to your day. And the cakes? Generous slices that taste as good as they look, whether you’re after something indulgent or a classic favourite. They don’t just satisfy; they impress. There’s a constant hum of energy here, thanks to the steady flow of happy customers and the prime location. It’s the kind of spot that feels both local and lively – a true neighbourhood favourite that’s earned its reputation. If you’re in the area and looking for a standout coffee and cake combo with friendly vibes, this little gem should be your first stop. A small café with a big heart – and a seriously good brew.

We’ve been waiting a long time to find a little cafe that got close to a proper English breakfast, and this place was no exception! The food was amazing as was the service. Bacon was crispy, as was the hash browns and the rest was simply delightful! This is our go to now when we have a couple of child free hours. Lovely service and really enjoyable 👍

Been searching for a while for the best English breakfast and came across this place.... They were more than happy to accommodate a small change and add in beans, but it was absolutely the best breakfast - and everything was amazing even the Chai Latte. Will definitely be back!!

If you want to use QR code. Forget about it. Service is ahhhhh well we got serve with food but not cutleries and yeah it’s not a self service one as well. Nachos!!!!!!! It’s dry. Like I literally had 2 nachos I can pick easily. The rest as crumpled together tightly.
Angelo T — Google review
We’ve been loyal customers of Coffee Club every Sunday before our weekly shop – it was always our favourite spot. Sadly, things have taken a real downturn. The coffee beans have clearly changed and the quality has dropped significantly, while the portion sizes have shrunk. They’ve also removed the convenient QR code ordering system, which just adds to the frustration. It’s also noticeable that much younger and less experienced staff have been brought in, and while the franchisees are genuinely nice people, it feels like they are steering this once-great business into the ground. After discussing with friends and colleagues who’ve noticed the same issues, we decided to give it one last try – but unfortunately, we won’t be returning. It’s a real shame to see a place we loved fall so far.

Regularly get an Eggs benedict from here and its always perfect. Good service and good food!
Morty A — Google review
The staff are friendly with good service but the seating is awkward and slightly uncomfortable. The food is ok but not great - I had a chicken cheese and avo flat grill and there was so much cheese stringing out with every bite that is was off putting to eat . Coffee slightly bitter and the cream on the kids pancakes was ‘yuck’ apparently. The Ham and cheese toastie was okay but slightly stale. All in all ok but probably won’t be back

Barista came up to me after we had been served paid and eaten to tell me that my service dog was not welcome to be there even though it was our third or fourth time dining there and others have had their pet dogs inside this place at other times I've been there. Sure they have the right to deny service but this should be done at the beginning not at the end of your dining experience she was extremely rude and I will never return

Coffee Club Kippa-Ring is a great place to start your day shopping at Kippa-Ring. Eggs and bacon were a little overcooked for my liking; however, meal looked presentable, food was fresh and had good flavour. Staff are nice but the food is terrible. Menu said the pancakes came with raspberries and only 2 were on them when they arrived. Bit stingy. Pancakes had clearly come from a packet and had been sat under a heat lamp for ages becoming chewy and crispy at the edges. Friend’s salad had 5 hairs in it!!! Sweet potato fries had no flavour. The menu is just too big, there’s no way a single kitchen can turn out that many dishes and have them be anything close to decent

Friendly and quick service, fairly good value and nice views. Food itself was below average which was the only real let down. It's also dog friendly with a lot of parking available within a short distance.

The place is nice and genuinely enjoyable after a long trip around the redcliff market it's highly recommended for a nice spot to have a nice breakfast early lunch ! May I mention a special compliment of customer service to a young lady who served us! Unsure what her name was but she has glasses, black and reddish hair and she was very lovely to us ! Her boss trained her well !

This was the first time we went to this cafe. I ordered eggs Benedict the bacon was hard and the whole meal was cold. They use a crumpet instead of bread. It was not tasty at all. Hopefully they will make these meals fresh to order in the future.

Wow! Great service, awesome variety of food with options available for small appetites (and small budgets) right through to the ravenously hungry! Our pup was welcomed too and received many pats from other patrons. Beautiful location too. Well done team 👏
Vianne H — Google review
The food here is really good and the service is fantastic such a nice location. The staff have heaters and will gladly turn them on for you. The real let down was the bathrooms. There’s 3 but they have 2 of them closed off for staff, and the only one is a unisex toilet for the whole restaurant to use. This bathroom is in dire need of a deep clean and a repair - the toilet paper holder was broken.

One of the best fresh rolls I've ever had. Was so good. I think it was Cajun. Fresh and delicious with jalapeno included, which I love. The scallop pie was nice but nothing exquisite. I was profiled by one of the staff members. As a Redcliffe local, Banjo’s was my go to place and food and staff were usually nice but sadly, I have to share one star review. I ordered online on the afternoon of the 6/10/25. (I love Banjo’s online order system as I don’t need to line up at the main counter.) The lady was busy making coffees where people collect online orders. I was politely waiting beside her for over 10mins. No eye contact at all. When she finally asked me what I was waiting for. I told her that I ordered online then she asked me to show my phone. I left my phone outside at the table so I told her that I am never asked to show my phone by the staff for previous online orders. Weirdly She demanded to me to show my phone again instead of asking my name. She treated me like I was an idiot. I came back with my phone then she said to me there wasn’t any Uber orders. (My actual order was already prepared on the table when I got back to her.) Then she realized I was not an Uber driver! I couldn’t believe it because I noticed she was checking the order display system frequently while she was making multiple coffees. If I was Caucasian (I am Asian) would she instantly think I was an Uber driver!??? Even know there wasn’t an uber order at all! She should not treat customers or uber drivers like this. Disgusting experience!!! I left there with tears😢

Brought my parents and children here yesterday to visit Redcliffe and for a bit of breakfast as my Step Dad was keen for a pie and saw the bakery. I’ve never been here but it was quite busy so thought it must be good. Walked in and was quite full of people, small seating area indoor and looked ok. Decided to line up and ordered a Cornish pastry, meat pie, chocolate muffin, custard scroll and fudge brownie. The brownie was so small, I actually asked for a fudge brownie and chocolate muffin but for some reason the staff member thought I wanted to swap it out, had to come back and order more things later so was a bit annoyed. Came back and ordered the chocolate muffin and carrot cake muffin. Found a table but it was so squishy and table could have done with a wipe, felt like we spent way too much for the items we bought. Anyway, Mum said the Cornish pasty filling was too peppery and couldn’t finish it and the meat pie was ok. My daughter had the chocolate muffin and it was extremely dry and almost rock hard on the top and it crumbled a lot and honestly looked like it was baked last week, not fresh and she couldn’t finish it. I had the carrot cake muffin and for some reason it just tasted of cinnamon, like overkill, the cake was a bit too moist and squishy but the cinnamon was just too much I couldn’t finish it at all. Overall a bit disappointed as I’ve read good reviews about this bakery but yesterday’s visit was just not the best. Felt like items were quite expensive for the portion size and could have done better to keep the place tidy and clean. The serviette dispenser was a nightmare, serviettes wouldn’t tear off properly and there was a build up of serviettes and other bits of rubbish at that corner of the shop and I didn’t notice any staff come around to clean that area or the other tables that were empty. Anyway might reconsider visiting in a month or two.

Month of visit: July 2024 Banjo’s bakery is very famous here I think, located at a prime place in Redcliff. They have various menu – pies, rolls, cakes, brownies etc. Their coffee was good, but the spinach ricotta roll was a bit salty, surprisingly, even for my Asian tastebud, which is stronger than Western, I think. The choco muffin was a bit sweet. But good to try when you are visiting Redcliff!

We usually have breakfast at this café with my wife on Sundays. This time, by mistake, I ordered a Pulled Beef Brisket Pie with Jalapeno & Cheese, which turned out to be very spicy. I took it back and asked the staff what they had without chili. I didn’t want to exchange this pie — I was going to buy another one. The staff were rather rude to me, so I silently left, putting the pie on the counter. My wife ordered two sausage rolls, and I took one from her. After we both ate these rolls, we had a greasy film in our mouths for several hours, as if we had eaten petroleum jelly. What kind of oil are they using in this café now? It tastes very much like hydrogenated fats. We will not be coming back to this café! What happened to this place!

Really enjoyed the strawberry milk, a bit too sweet but somehow just right with curry chicken and beef pies by the sea.

Sign on the front, "need something quick, grab a premade whatever." No customers to serve but me, still took 15 to 20 mins. Almost walked out. Toasty was average but not worth the wait.

We meet up at Nerosso Cafe every Saturday and it is the highlight of my week. The best coffee, wonderful friendly service, they really understand the importance of customer service, they absolutely go above and beyond. Dog friendly (my dog loves it as much as I do, goes crazy for her puppacino). Don't always eat there but when I do it's delicious! Great neighbourly atmosphere. Nestled near the vibrant Sunday markets at Redcliffe, Flock Eatery is a delightful spot that embraces sustainability and fresh ingredients. This charming café offers a diverse menu featuring dishes like pimento cheese omelettes with slow-roasted tomatoes and leg ham, as well as zucchini and mint fritters paired with beetroot hummus. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for large groups or special events.
A pleasant surprise yesterday morning as this place was stumbled upon by accident. The ocean view accompanied by the friendly and attentive staff ... superb coffee was a welcome start to the day. But the real joy was the fresh and beautifully presented meals. I replaced chorizo with mushroom on the grilled asparagus. Not only was this no trouble it was beautifully presented and looked like it was meant to be there, not just thrown on the side. Happy days!

Whilst visiting Sunday markets at Redcliffe, we happened upon this particular cafe for brunch. Service was good, face was busy, vibe and ambience were on point. The cafe has a lot of seating area and is suitable for large groups and events. The feedback would be for their drink and food. Their masala chai leaves a lot to be desired. Even though we asked for extra strong, it wasn’t. It was a weak version of a tea with some spices in it, but definitely not a masala chai. The three of us ordered their masala chai and we all felt the same. I think this could be attributed to the type of tea leaves in the actual mix that is the issue, and obviously the café itself. Flock Eatery might want to consider where to get a better suited product, and if all else fails, I’m happy to recommend the "Wagh Bakri" brand. This would work as Flock does not boil the tea leaves and the milk together in one pot. As the tea and the milk are served separately, this would be a better option to serve as their 'masala chai". Food wise, the corn fritters were a bit dry, and needed more salt. The avocado smash and their nourish bowl definitely looked better, and I will be ordering that the next time. I would like them to rethink charging $3 for the micro serving of the house made beans. Whatever happened to normal baked beans, and when did it have to become "fancy" with kidney beans and then be a micro portion? Please bring back baked beans in a can. #pleaseandthankyou Kudos to the staff for actually asking for our feedback when we went to pay regarding the food. Although Flock is a long trek for me, I will definitely visit it again.

So many awesome things to say about this place. We came here for Breakfast and were amazed by firstly the amount of food (even the small plate had more food than we could eat) but also by the staff here. Every one who came near our table were friendly and happy and spoke to us as if we were regulars. The Barista made one of THE best Chais I've had and the food was DEELicious!!!! The place offers a variety of English treats like pork pies and Cornish pasties, giving visitors an authentic taste of England. While some dishes may seem to be frozen, the overall experience is delightful. The tea room has garnered a loyal following over the years thanks to the excellent service provided by Anna and Lu, who have become beloved figures in the local community.

Went there for lunch. A lot of menu items were unavailable. Cornish pie, etc I ordered pancakes which were cold and out of a packet not freshly made. My daughter ordered chicken and mushroom pie which turned out to be a stew served on the plate with a piece of pastry on top. Deconstructed pie! Also microwaved frozen veges served with it. All looked very unappetising. We definitely will not be going back. Also the carpet on the floor looks dirty and soiled. This business needs to take a good hard look at what they are trying to achieve.

Tonnes of English stuff and their pork pies and Cornish pasties are imported so you know it's the real deal. Lunch was a blast from the past and it was the (more than likely) frozen veg that hurt a little. Still a great place to go. If you're there, ask for Army and Navy. Awesome stuff.

Boney's Espresso & Sandwich Deli is a charming little spot that truly shines when it comes to breakfast. While the seating may be limited and located on the footpath, the delightful service and scrumptious food more than compensate for it. The friendly staff always greet you with smiles, creating a warm atmosphere. Although Sundays can get busy due to nearby markets, visiting on other mornings offers a relaxed experience where you can savor their diverse menu options.
Love it! Amazing coffee, love how the offer smaller iced coffee sizes as well. And this sandwich speaks for itself, to get something like this on the Northside is such a blessing. I wish nothing but the best for the owners of Boneys 🫶🏻

Wow. Only stopped to grab a take away coffee to go sit by the beach.....but then I saw they have a breakfast crossiant. Like a egg and cheese mcmuffin but on a crossiant roll. OMG so I had to try it. Off I went. Sitting by the beach and I bite into it.....WOW. It's not just any old cheese n egg crossiant. Whatever relish or sauce thing or ????? Is amazing. A tiny tinsey kick to it. Like just enough to taste the flavours of whatever it is (I'll be going back to find out) and the cheese isn't maccas cheese either. I want another one already. Coffee is good..... hot and strong. Will definitely make this my new coffee place to stop at. Thankyou ladies.

Nice little place that does a great little breakfast. Seating is limited (and you are on the footpath) but the service and the food more than make up for it. Staff are friendly and are always wearing a smile. Sundays can be a little busy with the markets nearby, but any other morning is a lovely leisurely experience. Good variety on the menu and there are some special boards that are always worth a look. Today was "Eggs on Sourdough - With Salmon" and their special board "Eggs Benedict". Meals are fresh and full of flavor. Well worth a trio to the dark side just for this meal... and... maybe catch the team while you are there. 🐬

Took a family crowd here last Sunday. Lovely people working at the counter. Smiles, advice and help - anything you need. Very decent pricing Not too many tables, so keep that in mind. We were extremely lucky to get a table, while arriving late in the morning. The coffee experience was mixed. Two good ones, while the third was burnt. (How can that be?) Bacon and egg roll had a hair in it. Refunded in a glance with an apology. I guess we were just unlucky. Give it a try. They deserve that.

Zarraffa's Coffee Mango Hill is an unassuming fast food chain and coffee shop that also operates as a small-scale coffee roastery. They offer various house blends and beans for purchase. The establishment is known for its friendly staff, who are often familiar faces to regular customers, adding a touch of familiarity and warmth to the experience. This combined with their excellent coffee makes it a highly favored destination for many.
I savored a medium coffee latte here, and it was not only fragrant but also incredibly delicious. The quality of customer service adds to the overall positive experience. They offer seating options both indoors and outdoors, providing choice to patrons. In the mornings, the drive-thru is bustling to the extent that traffic can build up.

I went through the drive-through late afternoon with my daughter and received exceptional customer service from the lady who took our order (wish we'd noted her name for a proper shout out, sorry!). She was next-level though, so we wanted to take the time to say thank you and do a shoutout! She served with a genuinely happy and upbeat style. She communicated proactively (including to thank us for our patience, even though we had a very short wait) and really seemed to enjoy working there (love the big earrings). We both commented on how rare (sadly) this kind of customer experience can be these days. So hats off to Zarraffa's for hiring someone with passion and warmth to represent their brand well and remember the importance of making customers feel truly valued and engaged with. And...thank you again to that lady! 🤩🤩🤩
Christie C — Google review
Our breakfast and coffee was nice, the service was good. But I just want to know why every coffee shop I have been to has to squash the ham and cheese croissant till it's flat. Why can't the croissant be heated to resemble a croissant 🥐?

I’m a regular at Zarraffa’s Mango Hill and always order the same thing—a Mocha and a Benny Bagel. Usually, it’s great, but today (15/05/2025 at 1:36pm) was disappointing. When I opened my Benny Bagel while waiting to pick up my kids, it was missing the Hollandaise sauce and cheese—just eggs, bacon. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time this has happened. As a loyal customer, it’s frustrating when a favorite item doesn’t come as expected. If something’s going to be missing from an order, especially a key ingredient, it would be really helpful to let customers know beforehand. But I always love your service no doubt 💯

Can honestly say I will never go to another coffee shop in the area anymore. Great service from anyone but the manager. The lady that served me had just asked the manager about the taste of their different blends in coffee they were offering me, the lady didn't know so had asked her management, for then me to be met with such arrogance from the manager telling me 'well it's coffee' they all taste the same. I've never had such rudness over such a small ask before in my life. By the seems of her workers apologise, this happens alot.
