Visited in September 25 during a weekend brunch hour. The café wasn’t full yet, and I managed to get a seat upstairs. Tried their Turkish style Eggs and classic chicken Sandwich, which I found rather mediocre. The Turkish style Eggs came with sourdough toast, tomato chickpeas, Greek yogurt, pistachios, and sausage. However, the tomato paste was too sweet for my liking, which made the dish less enjoyable overall. That said, the sourdough toast was nicely pan-seared with olive oil and had a good texture. As for the Classic Chicken Sandwich, I personally found it bland. While the sourdough toast itself was nice, the filling didn’t stand out in terms of flavor. Coffee, however, was good. The ambience is pleasant, with nice music playing in the background.

We found this place through a food blog written about the Best Brunch places in KL and decided to give it a try. This was probably one of the best breakfast meals we have had in our lives. We shared the French toast and Philadelphia Chicken and Waffles- which flavors were out of this world. The coffee was also amazing- we had an iced coffee and an iced latte. Our entre and coffee were so great we decided we had to try their lemon tart- which was also to die for. If you are in KL- this place is a must try. The food was literally an experience-truly full of flavor. I am still thinking of this French toast after three days. Don’t hesitate- go try this place, promise you won’t regret it.

Very cool breakfast spot - a must try! Inventive takes on a burger (with crab) and the French toast is awesome! Salad was good too with yummy coffee and the apricot and lavender drink was delicious!! Highly recommended!

I tried their French toast, and it was decent. Soft on the inside with a light crisp on the edges, though it could’ve used a bit more flavor or syrup to make it stand out. The coffee was okay too, smooth but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s an average experience, but still a nice spot if you’re in the area and want something simple.

Spacious, has a nice place to chill with a friend or do some work, i love their coffee, and is perfect for their French toast. Their French toast has a unique twist. 🤩 would definitely come back and spend more time later on.

The coffee was OK- Had an espresso yet couldn't taste the aroma of it. Staffs were very friendly though. I had to give low on overall and atmosphere, because around 40mins I was there, no one bothered to even check nor clean up the mess the restroom was. It would be fine for a man- but ladies?.. nu uh...

The restaurant is located beside the high street studio, the waitress is very helpful and friendly. I ordered their summer pasta (slightly oily and would suggest having more meat with the price). The restaurant is decorated with local cultured wall art and you can choose to sit indoors or outdoor.

Absolutely bummed that they've removed Chicken & Waffles from the menu. We then ordered Breakfast Burger which I've had before so I know what to expect. What we didn't expect was, what looks like half a sliced of bread for Spanish French Toast. Granted it was thick and served with some strawberries slices and blueberries, but for RM28? We were in disbelief lol. I think that dish could've priced better or put a whole slice of bread on the plate pls 🥹

Foods taste like fusion of asian and western style, kinda new to my tastebuds bud. Sauteed kailan and fried garlic added to the sausage and mashed definitely something new to me. Lokl breakfast tastes just fine. Otherwise coffees and services are good

We ended up paying RM100++ for two brunch dishes, which feels really overpriced for locals. The café is called “LOKL,” but honestly it doesn’t feel very lokl at all. A breakfast platter alone was RM40, and the taste was pretty average—nothing special. (tbh it was super plain—felt like something I could’ve made at home) For tourists though, RM40 is just about USD10, so maybe it feels cheaper and more worth it from their side. The place seems to be more geared towards visitors anyway, with the vibe and menu. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it for locals, but if you’re a tourist who enjoys that kind of café scene, it might be 👌plus great service from the waiters.

We really enjoyed the Thai omelette breakfast bowl and Colombian Eggs. The coffee is very good. Atmosphere was a great surprise. We ate at the garden communal table. The weather was comfortable at 0830. A fan can be provided. Would return!

We were had good time devour our pandan pie but it didnt last as we found really unexpected contaminant that can cause food poisoning. Hair in food is a situation tht every restaurant/cafe should really be ashamed of. This hygiene issue is unacceptable and unpleasant. We notified the server and no apologize coming from him at first. Then he offer to switch to new one. But we will not accept as the whole batch of the pie is ruined. At least he took out the pie from our bill.

Officially announcing that I’ll be coming back to LOKL Coffee another time. To start off, I was greeted by Arthevi (apologies if I got your name or the spelling wrong but pls know that you are a sweetheart) at the entrance. I realised I had forgotten to bring my card with me, explaining the current situation at hand and I asked if QR payment is accepted. Arthevi happily explained that any payment is accepted as she ushered me inside to a table. Okay now I’m inside, the cafe is bustling with patrons chitchatting and the sounds of cutleries scrapping their plates. Love a good ambience! I had the lunch set which comes with a side and a main (you can actually have 2 sides but I opted for one). And ofc I gotta get myself an iced latte to go with my meal. Lemme tell you what, the honey glazed chicken was tender, succulent, and it literally melts in my mouth. The chicken was served on a nice hot bed of mash potato and it was creamy and well seasoned. Just how I like it :) I took chicken soup as the side and it was alright. Just the right starter before you dive in into the main. Definitely will recommend the iced latte if you need a quick pick me up in the mornings. I know I would. Arthevi was attentive and keep on checking if everything was alright with me. If the food was okay, if I need my sauces and ketchups etc etc etc. She was just wonderful all around. Definitely elevates my first time dining experience here at LOKL. If you’re ever in the Masjid Jamek area, pls come visit for some good food and amazing service!

I came here to have brunch on Eid morning with my family. All in all we had a wonderful time, loved the vibe and aesthetic of the cafe. There is a lot of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent; we had the French toast, Turkish eggs, and double smash burger. I wish I had asked for hot sauce on the side for the burger as the patty was unseasoned. But the fries were on point as was the sourdough that came with the eggs. The only thing I didn't love was the coffee. We ordered two lattes, a vanilla latte and a sticky bun latte. The vanilla latte had to be remade as the first one had way too much vanilla syrup (I was thankful that the second one came with the syrup on the side for me to pour in how much I wanted.) But the espresso in both lattes was over extracted, which was pretty disappointing as I was expecting some great coffee.

Everyone gotta try their pancakes because it is amazing! One of the fluffiest and nicest pancakes I had, which didn’t feel too “floury” after eating too much of it. It was good! The mushroom from the FEEKA breakfast is diner perfectly! Everything here is great! Would come by again in the future

Best pancakes I’ve ever had. The ambience is so aesthetic and chill. The space and the branding of the cafe makes it feel classy. The prices are bit on the higher end, even as an international visitor, but you can understand why. The staff were ultra hospitable and greet you as you come in and leave. The coffee mocha i had was good and was at a good standard- you can tell the chocolate they use is high quality.

The brunch was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Both the bowl and the scrambled eggs with bread were really tasty. My suggestion for improvement: the bread could be fried with less oil, as it had quite a lot of oil.

After spending some time exploring the Bukit Bintang area, it seemed like the right time to replenish the caffeine levels in my blood, which were starting to drop. Armed with a map on my iPhone, my team and I set off in search of a coffee shop that was said to be quite famous in the Bukit Bintang area, Feeka Coffee Roasters. The design of this small coffee shop, located between Japanese-themed bars, is industrial, giving it an unfinished look, with faded plaster walls, dangling electrical cables and dim lighting. It reminded me of JackRunners. I ordered a glass of Espresso Lemonade—Feeka's signature drink, made with espresso from their seasonal coffee beans, mixed with lemon juice and topped with cold soda water. The taste is unique, combining fresh citrus elements with the strong character of coffee. The balanced acidity of the lemon and the bitterness of the coffee are delightful to enjoy in hot weather like this. It’s definitely worth a try.

A cosy little café conveniently tucked away near our hotel (Parkroyal). I ordered the Tropical Bowl (granola, tropical fruits, toasted coconut, smoothie mix), which was refreshing and tasty, though the portion was a bit underwhelming- felt a touch like shrinkflation for the price. The matcha latte was pleasant, though not particularly memorable. The space itself is inviting, modern and chic, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is well ventilated and shaded. Staff were attentive and friendly, and the menu offers a good range of breakfast and lunch dishes, plus coffees and pastries. It’s clearly a popular spot with both locals and visitors, and worth checking out if you’re nearby.

I do love squid, curry leaves and salted egg. The dynamite combo was finger licking good. As a first timer lunch customer the place is packed! I was lucky to find seats. Heard the rave about YBR and understand why throngs of people still come and eat here. Parking can be problematic. Thank god for the open car park nearby but that again you need to pray for lady luck to be on your side. I had a morning meeting and was again lucky to find a spot. Happy trying and may the force be with you in finding parking <wink>

Was recommended by a friend to come here for their brunch menus. I left with a happy tummy! Here’s what I tried: 1) Pulled Beef Benedict - Not sure what they put inside but i gasped at the first bite 😭 SO GOOD 2) Salted Egg Squid Pasta - Squid was flavourful and crunchy. Pasta was perfectly el dente coated with that spicy yet savoury salted egg sauce YUMS 3) Tamagotcha Bowl - crispy batter but feel like they can do more with the seasoning. Very pleasing to the eye I must say 4) Salmon Salad - yummmmms wish there are more salmon tho 5) Berry Mango - tastes exactly how you imagine it. 100% better than Boost 6) Earl Grey Hojitcha - personally did not enjoy this, a bit bitter and both flavour profile were a bit strong

Visited Yellow Brick Road Cafe for brunch and loved the overall vibe — bright, modern, and relaxing. I had the Salted Egg Squid Pasta which was rich and creamy without being too heavy, and the YBR Tiramisu for dessert was light and perfectly balanced. For drinks, I tried the Avomazing Smoothies and Green Juice, both refreshing and freshly made. The cafe gets busy but the service was still friendly and attentive. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and it’s a great place to chill with friends or have a slow weekend brunch. Highly recommended if you’re around Damansara!

Had a lovely lunch here with my husband 💕 Why did I only discover this place now?! We tried the Caesar Salad, The Kraken, Under The Sea & Super Skyscraper. The squid ink spaghetti was so good. I’m obsessed with the creamy gravy! And the pancake stayed super soft even after a while. The pancake can share 3-5 people. Would definitely repeat this cafe for breakfast next time!

Tucked inside The Five, Yellow Brick Road continues to charm with its thoughtful menu and inviting atmosphere. The only minor downside is the need to pay for parking before entering the building, but once you’re inside, the experience makes up for it. I started with the Australian Iced Coffee, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and dusted with chocolate powder. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the magic really happens as the ice cream melts—creating a creamy, velvety blend with the coffee that’s both smooth and satisfying. For my main, I had the Smashed Avocado. The highlight? Those perfectly crispy oyster mushrooms that add texture and flavor. It comes with two poached eggs, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and grated cheese—everything balanced and beautifully plated. The Teriyaki Salmon Rice Bowl was another hearty dish, served with pickled radish, seaweed, and edamame. The combination of flavors felt wholesome and comforting, with just the right balance of sweet, savory, and fresh. I also tried the Tinman’s Catch fish burger, and it did not disappoint. The fish was tender without any overpowering fishiness, and the ingredients came together harmoniously in their homemade, fluffy brioche bun. Overall, the dining experience was delightful—great presentation, excellent flavors, and a warm, enjoyable ambiance. I’ll definitely be planning a return visit soon.

The menu has a wide variety of dishes; the place has cosy vibes, so we had lunch here twice in a week. Teriyaki salmon rice bowl, roasted spring chicken, unagi rice bowl and Tinman’s burger were all satisfying. The portion was filling, with fresh ingredients and excellent cooking. As we didn’t want fries for Tinman’s burger, the waiter gladly accommodated our request to replace them with hashbrowns. It’s a popular place during lunch hours. Recommended and will return.

Not worth it. The price not tally with the YBR signature tiramisu. The cake is very instagramable but the cake is lack of taste. Not much cream cheese flavour at tiramisu from my opinion. I feel that is a lot of wiping cream instead of cream cheese. However, the cafe environment is chill and comfortable. There are many staffs inside the cafe too.

Personally find their latte just okay, cause I don’t like sour coffee. As it was a shop that specialises in coffee, I expected to have better/fancier latte art but this is just a small gripe.Their food menu is definitely on the pricier side. The pancakes were very good! The “smash” burger on the other hand was not smashed and the patty was very dry but well seasoned.

The variety isnt that big for either of the food directory but food taste is rather commendable. Food preparation is quite fast too even when the place is crowded. Service is fast and attentive but the only down side to all on my personal opinion is the beverages. Coffee is a little too mild and again not much choices.

Came to Common Man with my girlfriend. The specialty coffees are a must try. And we both loved the citrus one more though 🤭☕️ Vege breakfast and shakshuka were cooked well without trying too hard. We almost always go for the Umami Mushroom Avocado Toast and the Common Man Full Breakfast, both of which never disappoint. The flavors are well-balanced, the ingredients taste fresh, and the portions are satisfying without being overwhelming. Their Mocha and Hot Chocolate are good too, not too sweet. We tried the Iced Americano. While it was decent, I personally would have preferred a stronger, darker roast. What really stands out here is the service. Despite the café often being fully packed, the staff consistently remain friendly, attentive, and efficient. They manage to handle the busy crowd while still making you feel looked after, which is impressive. Overall, this café offers both quality food and a lovely atmosphere. Came here for brunch. Latte was alright and the full breakfast priced at RM49 was just average. Sausage was nice, bacon was tough, hashbrown was bland and the beans was not cooked at all. Hard!!! Comfortable seating area. Was offered free coffee ice cream with a condition to make a review. Come on if we said we’ll do it, you don’t have to come and check if we did make a review with hostility!!! If I knew that’s the case I wouldn’t have taken the weirdly taste ice cream of yours.

Visited Common Man Coffee Roasters KL and had a pretty good experience overall! We ordered the Common Man Full Breakfast, which came with two free-range eggs (any style), chicken sausage, grilled streaky beef, herbed roma tomato, hashbrown, portobello mushroom, spinach, house-made chicken chorizo baked beans, and artisanal sourdough toast. Honestly, the breakfast was just average — most items lacked a bit of flavor, except for the hashbrown, which was really good. On the other hand, the Smash Burger was AMAZING! The beef patties were crispy outside, juicy inside, and the combination of cheddar, onion jam, lettuce, and beetroot BBQ sauce was just perfect. It would have been even better if the fries were a little crunchier, but still very enjoyable. We also had an Iced Americano, but it was just alright — it wil be better if it’s more intense and dark roast. The environment is vibrant and lively, and the floor staff provided excellent, cheerful service. Definitely a great spot to chill and catch up with friends or date with your love one.

The staff were SO friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home and well taken care of. They also had the option of making espresso based drinks decaf! The decaf latte was great and the chicken rice meal was very nice, beautiful presentation. I’m looking forward to trying some pastries the next time I go back. Great food, great service, nice atmosphere… definitely worth a visit.

Went to PULP Cafe Bangsar on a Wednesday afternoon. The place was quite chill, easy to find seating and definitely suitable for hanging out or working from a laptop. Tried their manual brew, but honestly, the coffee wasn’t that amazingly great. It tasted a bit muddy and powdery, lacking the clarity you'd expect from a proper pour-over. Not the worst, but not memorable either. Overall, decent vibe, okay coffee.

The place is full of people working on laptops (it seems like a workspace, not a cafe), so it is problematic to sit down at a table. The description of the food is interesting, but in fact there is nothing special. They brought me just a bun with a cutlet and processed cheese, I ordered a cold cappuccino - they brought a cold latte. My wife ordered a bagel with an extra egg, the egg was brought only after asking.

PULP is a stylish café housed in the old NST printing facility, now a vibrant hub surrounded by chic eateries and creative spaces. I dropped by just for coffee, skipping the food menu. The long black was brewed with dark roast beans, a bit too bold for my personal preference. The macha latte was smooth and decent, though not particularly memorable. That said, service was warm and efficient, and the staff made the experience pleasant. The atmosphere is great, industrial yet cozy, with a touch of creative charm that fits the space’s heritage. While the coffee didn’t quite hit my usual taste profile, the overall vibe and setting make it a nice spot for a quiet coffee break or casual meetup.

When the highly popular APW - a space reinvented into a bustling commercial area from what used to be a printing company, PULP has been one of the pioneer tenants here. Located on the left right after entering the entrance, PULP has been a mainstay cafe serving quality coffee to caffeine addicts. Utilising natural lightning, the entire cafe is bright and inviting especially in the morning. My cup of long black provided the much needed jolt to wake me up from half sleep. Next time I'll be back for their single origin beans prepared via V60 style. Note: I adore the huge Astroboy figurine standing at one corner of the cafe.

I've had the best breakfast so far in KL. Ottoman eggs 10/10 V60 Honduras 10/10 Espresso lemonade 10/10 It gets crowded around brunch time ~ 11 am so take thin into account when visiting.

The service and locale in general is great. Coffee was also decent But it's hard to leave a glowing review when i found a 2 inch long fish bone in my smoked salmon bagel, just when I was about to finish eating it. They gave us a tart on the house which was nice, but the right thing to do would have been to refund me for the bagel. Me, being not a Karen, of course did not demand for that considering that I was almost done with the bagel, but as a cafe operator, they should have offered.

This is a good place to get a coffee, maybe not exceptional for breakfast though. Iced latte was good but felt a bit watery and Kuala Lumpur has better coffee spots. The eggs Benedict were fine but to me there was not enough sauce and the croissant did not feel fresh and crunchy as it should. They also put too little salmon in my opinion. The ordering system was fairly convenient - you need to prepay the order and then they bring it to your table. They did not have a toilet and if you need one you need to go to the shopping mall which is a bit of a walk. Overall this is far from my first breakfast preference but if you are around and you need a good spot for coffee or breakfast then this one is a reasonable choice

Order a big breakfast but get one and half sourdough, and the hashbrown was too dry, and the pour-over coffee was not worth the price. But the staff are friendly and helpful. Hope will improve the food quality .

Go for their black coffee! I reiterate, go for black! The coffee notes are amazing, packed with citrusy flavours! Their cake was nice too. But rmb to go for black, their black taste way better than white.

One of the more enduring cafes in this commercial labyrinth, it survives more by proximity than pilgrimage. Unless you live in the condo towers above or work within the sprawling office complex, it’s unlikely this spot makes your list - no thanks to punishing parking fees and a carpark that feels more like a scary dungeon. But if you happen to be in the neighbourhood on some other errand, it’s well worth slipping in for a coffee, a snack, or a light bite. The space is small but inviting - cozy, with a hint of bohemian charm. The arabica, in all its forms, is deftly brewed and goes down smooth. The coffee iced cube was particularly nice and enjoyable.

I used to come here quite often, and recently decided to visit again. Overall, the service and atmosphere were great, but I have to say the food quality isn’t what it used to be. The matcha, in particular, didn’t have much flavor it felt like the taste just wasn’t brought out as well as before.

Nice café with just the right amount of food options to choose from. I tried the fried chicken waffle — while the concept is good, I found the chicken seasoning a bit lacking, so overall it was just okay for me. The Fillet-O-Fish came in a smaller, simpler portion, but the flavor profile was spot on. The fish was generous, and the slaw was my favorite — really good. As for drinks, I loved the espresso sunrise — a refreshing combo of espresso and fresh orange juice that worked surprisingly well. The staff were superb and very welcoming, making the whole experience pleasant.

Great experience at Urban Daybreak! Easy to book via Google and staff even followed up to confirm our table. We were late but they kindly kept it for us and gave us a nice spot with a bench where my pup could relax. Christian was super friendly and helpful. Coffee was excellent (loved the Espresso Sunrise!) and food came quickly, tasty and with good portions. Cheerful and welcoming vibe all around — thank you!

A Worthwhile Brunch Spot in the Heart of Bangsar. Dropped by this cafe for a weekend brunch with friends and left fully satisfied. We ordered the Big Breakfast and Scrambled Eggs, and both dishes hit the spot. Everything was well-prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned (Can’t say no to crispy bacon) it was the perfect touch to a hearty meal. We paired our brunch with their single origin Ethiopian coffee, which was smooth and pleasantly aromatic — a great choice for those who enjoy a lighter, fruity brew. We arrived around 10:30 AM, which turned out to be just the right time because by noon, the line had grown significantly. If the place is full, you’ll need to scan a QR code to get in line which is efficient, but worth noting if you're in a rush. Service was also commendable as the staff were polite, attentive, and helpful throughout. Always great to see a team that’s as enthusiastic as the food they serve. Only downside is parking around Bangsar is a real challenge, especially on weekends. Best to plan ahead or use e-hailing if possible. Overall, a satisfying and well executed brunch experience definitely a spot worth returning to for a relaxed weekend meal.

Great services by the staff, especially Christian. He was polite, accommodating, and friendly. Recommended to make a reservation online first as it is usually crowded during peak hour. The Guinness pull pork was very flavorful. It is more to very sweet kind of taste. Pull pork was nicely cook and thin. For the fried chicken waffle, we can see that it was made with the maple syrup as the star. The fried chicken and waffle were neutral in taste, hence you'll need to dip in the maple syrup to enhance their taste. The chicken was fried nicely, but lack of flavor. The coffees were great, too. The aerocano was special. It is and taste like americano, with foam on top of it. The salted caramel latte was good.

Pet friendly is a big bonus. Good food but portions are a little small so order enough. Crispy bacon goes with many things like French toast. The filet of fish was meaty and good. Chorizo pasta flavourful with pork sausage flavours. Come hang out.

Came here on a Sunday breakfast. There was a queue which you will need to scan a QR code outside to take a queue. We decided to order the chicken waffles and the baked eggs. The baked eggs tasted like it has Indian spices. The chicken was indeed lack of flavour but overall was alright.

Modern looking and pet friendly cafe in the Bangsar area. Seems popular and we have to wait for approx 10/15 mins for a table. Tried the baked eggs and waffle with fried chicken. Both were fairly good except I didn't like the herbs used in the baked eggs.

Cozy vibe with sunlight coming in, super nice for photos 📸. 🥐 Garlic Cream Cheese Bread Pastry – crispy outside, soft inside, rich garlic + cheese flavor. 🧇 Thai Sweet Chili Chicken Waffle – soft waffle with sweet, spicy chicken, full of layers. 🥥 Triple Trippin (matcha + espresso + coconut water) – refreshing, bold, and unique. Creative food + drinks, comfy space, perfect to chill with friends. Will come back! 🌟

A cute little café in KL with a cozy vibe! I tried their duck aglio olio for the first time, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was flavorful, and the duck added a nice savory twist that made it stand out. We also ordered their matcha and coffee - both were decent, though not particularly distinctive. Overall, it’s a nice spot to unwind and enjoy a comforting meal in a relaxed setting.

This cafe is located in an older, two-story minimalist building. The second floor is spacious and features a few simple wooden tables. The ordering and payment process is convenient, as it’s done via QR code. The drink selection is quite many. tried the ice peach tea and lychee tea, both of which appeared to be pre-mixed and sweetened. Presentation of the drinks are very nice. The cafe is cozy and well-airconditioned. Although when only ordered two drinks, they took quite a while to serve the drinks. Probably shorthanded. Service is friendly. This cafe would be a great place to relax and unwind in the area, especially if you’re looking for a quiet and spacious spot.

Cute cafe with friendly staffs! Food was amazingly delicious and i enjoyed the earl grey peach tea, it is quite unique. I ordered the ‘eat full full breakfast’ kind of like a big breakfast with vegetarian options to choose from (portobello mushroom) if you don’t eat sausage. You can also choose how you want the egg to be cooked like :) in this case i chose scrambled eggs!

Sandwiches look delicious but was here just for a quick coffee. Latte art was beautiful. Coffee was ok, quite roasty, chocolatey and nutty. Pretty standard. Was busy in the morning. Small space and tables are arranged close to each other. You can hear conversation taking place at the next table. Not really a place to chill out and relax. Counter seating was also awkward coz you'll be facing customers sitting at the table below and directly outside.

While pastrami is the most celebrated sandwich, I love their nut butter jelly - soft banana pairs very well with crunchy peanut butter, while the sandwich crisp nicely cuts the jam sweetness. dessert-ish but filling.

VCR Stacks is one of the best places in KL to get a good sandwich and coffee. They have a wide range of delicious sourdough sandwiches, and they don't miss...the sauce and filling combinations are always satisfying and executed to crisp perfection. Many good vegetarian and a vegan option as well. Kudos to Zai and the other staff who continue to keep up the standard. Keep it up!

Transparent Coffee in Kuala Lumpur is a must-visit for any coffee lover. The café offers a wide variety of coffee types, each brewed to perfection with rich, bold flavors that appeal to both casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike. Whether you prefer a smooth espresso, a velvety latte, or something a bit more adventurous, every cup tastes fresh and meticulously crafted. The unique atmosphere and friendly staff further enhance the experience, making it a great spot to unwind. With such a diverse selection, there’s always something new to try, but one thing’s for sure – you can count on every sip being a delightful one.

This is another concept by One Half Coffee, but once again the coffee fell short of expectations. The filter coffee carried a noticeable unpleasant grassy note and completely missed the mark. The cold white has the grassy flavour on the first sip but after mixing you can only taste the sweet distilled milk. Their muffins are in collaboration with a baker, but since only a small batch is made daily, they were already gone before 9am when I dropped by. On the bright side, the barista was friendly and open to feedback.

Finally got to visit Transparent coffee after hearing many good things about this cafe. Had their hot black and love it, though my friend said it was acidic for his tastebud but I find it just right. Love the space too even though it was on a Saturday. Absolutely a must check out place for coffee lovers.

My faaaaavourite English muffins by far in KL! Literally to die for. Price can be steep for some but it’s worth it for me. Everything is handmade even to the bun. Definitely coming back. Just wish there were more seats but understandable as the space is fairly small.

Lovely breakfast / brunch spot and pet friendly space. Though it is a bit pricey, it’s great to be able to build-your-own breakfast and pick your favorites. Though the food menu consists of pretty basic stuff it’s executed well. Most importantly the coffee here is really good (one of the best) and so is the tea and chocolate. Parking is also easy so huge plus point!

Visited this café recently and felt that the overall experience didn’t match the value for what we paid. Here’s a breakdown of what we ordered: • Waffle: Poorly made — the shape was messy and it looked rushed. It was also overly sweet, even after pairing it with a generous amount of cream cheese. • “Bagel”: This was not a real bagel. It was just a very soft, regular bread roll with sesame seeds. No chewiness, no density — quite misleading. • Omelette: Unfortunately overcooked and dry inside. • Granola Bowl: Taste was alright, but it was unexpectedly oily — either baked with too much oil or drizzled on top. It felt heavy rather than refreshing. • Smashed Potato (side dish): Mixed with purple sweet potato and beef bacon bits. The purple sweet potato overpowered the flavour, and the bacon was oddly sweet due to a honey drizzle. The combination didn’t really work. • Fried Fish: Average — nothing special, just passable. In short, the food was underwhelming, both in taste and presentation. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

I ordered this chicken roasted dish. The taste was ok, however they just drizzled the sauce, and when I asked for more, they wanted to charge me. Hello, firstly give enough sauce, not drizzled it. Secondly, in the name of "creativity" you give me onions which not even peeled. I think it's ridiculous. I don't even know if the onion is washed if the skin is still on. Quite disappointed with the amount you pay and quality that you get. You want to charge for the sauce... Come on wei.

Came here for breakfast and I love the idea of “building your own breakfast board”, as it gives us more flexibility to try a diverse range of dishes. I really enjoyed the chicken chorizo, the eggs, the soft havarti cheese, and the chia seed pudding. The drinks were also good, but I think the portions could be a bit bigger. It’s best to get a reservation at this restaurant since it’s almost always full, especially in the morning. Totally in love with the ambience and surrounding, as well as the service. love the lemon butter cake, banana cake was just decent. The hot chocolate was rich and creamy with a deep chocolate flavor that balances sweetness and bitterness perfectly. A Pet- friendly cafe with many gorgeous, friendly and extremely-clean &hygiene dogs around — thanks to the owners. A special thanks too, for making the non-dogs-lovers feeling less anxious in such environment.

Discovered this small cafe through recommendation lists in social media, and it was a really good experience. Oat latte was nice, but the star was the croffle. It was crisp, had a right amount of sweetness. Matcha latte was also good, as it had a good amount of matcha rather than the milk. Owner and staff were also welcoming and gave us a good service. The cafe's space could be bigger, but when I came on weekday, after lunchtime, there were no other people than us, so we were able to get seatings. Will definitely come back next time for a quick bite of the croffle and the other drinks!

It was on Saturday 26/7/2025, around 3pm, when me and my friend arrived for our casual meetup. “Welcome!” we were greeted warmly, by the barista and her assistant on duty that day, Clarice & Yuzhe, our newly acquaintances, as we started exploring different coffee profiles. Recently patronizing The Hub, The Hub has been my passport to the world, bringing me to various countries without stepping foot in person. Today’s destination was Panama. And honestly the only impression I have on Panama, was 2 items: 1. Canal de Panamá 2. and “Dacă nici așa nu-ți place, ia mai Zboară-n Panama …” an old viral TikTok song. Service experience: It wasn’t until Señorita Clarice that brought in further insights, that widened my limited horizon. She patiently explained the variety and origins of beans, together with how the beans were processed. Like how a tour operator ensures her group remained comfortable and relaxed, I received a similar treatment. It was a wonderful learning experience and a pleasure to be blessed by a teacher-like barista. Behind the bar was her assistant Señor Yuzhe, equipped with dexterous hands, he handled the kettle gently and skillfully. Pouring hot water around the filter, wetting the coffee bed, the aroma slowly filled the place. I couldn’t resist drawing in a few breaths and could almost taste the coffee in my mouth. He looked up, nodded his head and gave me a gentle assured smile. I knew then, my coffee was safe in his hands. Coffee experience: (Panama Abu Coffee Catuai) The taste note……perhaps a visual note would paint the experience more vividly: Imagine yourself, touring the old Panama city, Casco Viejo. Admiring historical ruins left behind from the Spanish conquest. Indulging in sancocho, yucas and many more of their local delights, paired with a side of Panamanian sangria. Watching the sunset by the waterfront and enjoying the seaside breeze with a pampered selection of either the Pacific or Atlantic Ocean. I closed my eyes, wanting to feel the strong but gentle wind brushing against my face. And that is when I realised, I was back in The Hub. The cup was empty, and I thought to myself. The best coffee roaster in town?? How do you define the best? First thing first.. I’m no coffee connoisseur but I certainly know a good cup of coffee if I ever drink one. Years of drinking coffee somehow refine my taste bud. Malaysia’s coffee culture is catching up in recent years. Those I know around me have nothing but praise for The Hub which is based in OUG. I’ve gone there few times to drink but due to the location, I seldom go nowadays. Then I found out that they had actually opened an outlet in Damansara Heights (make it two - the latest one in DC Mall) specifically in Plaza Zurich since 2020. My visit to the outlet was pleasant and enjoyable one. ▪️Flat White - they have option to choose between regular fresh milk, or evaporated milk which they extracted using their own device.. resulting in richer and rounded texture to the coffee. We actually ordered 2 different milk to try with the flat white - I could taste the bitter aftertaste of the coffee with regular milk, while the usage of evaporated milk yielded in a more aromatic and milkier drink. Interesting! ▪️Pour Over Coffee - by the far the most extensive single origin coffee beans that I’ve seen in the list. I asked for a fruitier and acidic coffee and they duly delivered. ▪️sandwich - they have streamlined the sandwich (probably the only food available in the menu) to have 3-4 selections. The chicken fajita that I ordered was delicious. The barista that attended to us that morning was nice & friendly, sharing his knowledge on coffee since there were not many people. Imma happy man… now whenever I crave for coffee, it’s only within a short driving distance.

The service is really good. It was very quiet on a Sunday night but all the servers are friendly, attentive & quick. The food is delicious & arrived quickly. They were kind enough to change some ingredients in the dishes we ordered. We had the chorizo bagel & salmon pizza. Both taste good, but personally prefer the pizza, generous toppings & arrived hot. The only thing I would complain about was that the air-conditioning probably wasn't working as the whole place was warm.

This is a great little brunch spot. It was very busy, but we were well attended to and the staff were very friendly. The salmon bagel was delicious and the French toast was excellent. The smoothie wasn't super sweet and the flat white was okay, but all in all a great experience.

We had lunch at this restaurant with a group of about 20 people! They took our food orders before we arrived and greeted us with a wonderful surprise table setting. Rahmat and all the staff were very kind and friendly, and we had a great time! My only regret is that I was so comfortable that I forgot to take pictures of the food, but it was so nice. There was also a kids' space where children could play, so I felt it was a child-friendly cafe!

We visited two days in a row and really enjoyed both the vibe and the food. Although it’s a busy spot, the staff were attentive. The sautéed mushrooms in the big breakfast were absolutely perfect – we loved them! The next day, we came back for the chorizo bagel and Moroccan sandwich, which were also delicious.

I visited the popular café Merchant’s Lane in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur. The entrance is quite hidden, but once you step inside, you’re welcomed into a completely different world — a retro and stylish interior with a rustic charm. The slightly worn walls and wooden furniture create a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The menu offers a creative mix of Asian and Western fusion dishes, all served in generous portions. The seafood pasta, loaded with prawns and clams, was especially delicious — creamy yet with a nice spicy kick that kept me coming back for more. The cheesy meatball gratin and crispy hot fries on the side were also very satisfying. Drinks are just as unique. I ordered a chocolate frappe that came with a whole donut on top — not only Instagram-worthy, but also rich and indulgent in flavor, almost like a dessert on its own. Prices are not the cheapest, as it’s a popular tourist spot, but considering the ambiance and quality of food, it’s definitely worth it. I order the Kai Fan 4.0, and it was good, the food portion is quite big too. the veges were nicely roasted. I ordered the hot chocolate and it was just nice, not too sweet but also very rich. atmosphere is great, good for a cozy chat with your coworkers.

If not for the early breakfast from hotel , I would have the stomach desire to order more than one dish . Basically , I only managed to order the fusion Turkish based gravy with Chinese man tou. Very cleverly served in claypot , as it retained the warmth to this dish to make the savory dish taste good till your last bite . Decor was kept rustic to its old days . Only shortfall I will say is not having washroom to this cafe . Do cross over the street for washroom visit in the hotel before you climb up .

It was a good surprise finding this place upstairs next to a stationery shop. Cafe light and airy with aircond and non aircond seating area. Even have a private area for big group dining. Miso carbonara pasta with smoked chicken was not heavy, flavourful. Nasi lemak pancake was a good choice, the pancake was light and actually goes well with the chicken gravy, not too spicy. Even the ikan bilis was light and crunchy, not hard.

Such a relaxing place, very nice ambiance. I suddenly felt like a backpacker again. I mean that in the nicest possible way. Food was really good, coffee was excellent. If you feel the need to relax a little then you can’t go wrong. Everything in the menus looks mouth watering. If I lived here I would come here often just to soak in the atmosphere.

I ordered the Chicken Chop with salted egg sauce. When the food came, the waiter mentioned salted egg. I said what salted egg? He keep on repeating salted egg, salted egg. I didn't order salted egg. Whenever delivering food to customer, please train your staff to mention the food and drink they ordered. Don't just deliver and put them on the table. They should know what they are delivering. You have so many items on your menu and your staff don't even know all of them. We keep on asking for a refill for the water instead of letting us have the jug/ bottle.

A truly enchanting find. The unique ambiance of this cafe, with its open-air courtyard and striking architectural details, creates a wonderfully serene escape. The piccolo latte and almond latte were both exquisitely crafted, and the strawberry yogurt cheesecake was a delightful and light dessert. This is definitely a place to return to.

The menu is very unique and has so many options to choose from for drinks and bakery items! the restaurant has a good ambience and interior decor. Unfortunately they didn't have all the items on the special offer menu and then we had to remind to bring the food after waiting a long time. However, these things happen, would definitely visit again and hope to try other items.

It was my first time experiencing this restaurant last week. Absolutely loved the food! The soft shell crab was scrumptious 🫶🏻 I enjoyed every bite of it. I also loved the drink which was Passionfruit Mojito, I loved that they put a frozen ice pop with a lemon inside the ice pop, lovely touch! I will definitely come again to experience more of their delicacies. Truly and authentically Malaysian!

1. The food i ordered was signature chicken chop and the sauce was too little, and the chicken is too dried, soggy with too much oil. The coffee was just so-so. 2. The atmosphere was very cozy to do some work. 3. It's so hard to find the cafe, as a first timer. I had to call your team and and do some research thru the review, hoping some posing at the front of the shop. luckily, they did. I hope you guys improved your food because for me this isn't worth it.

The interior décor is clean and inviting, with an airy indoor–outdoor feel. Potted plants like ferns and ficus add freshness, while elegant wooden seating and thoughtful design details create a stylish atmosphere. Even the hand sink downstairs is beautifully set on a counter with charming motifs and decorative knick-knacks. The staff deserve special praise- they’re friendly, attentive, helpful, and great with both kids and adults. Kudos to the manager for leading such a fantastic team. We ordered the burger, nachos, Caesar salad, eggs Benedict, mac & cheese (for my niece), and coffees (matcha lattes and lattes). All were consistently well prepared and beautifully presented. That said, the Caesar salad could be improved with the addition of some bacon bits (halal or non-halal, either works) for extra flavour and texture, along with a more generous serving of shaved Parmesan to bring out its flavour more. I was really impressed with this place. The extras make it even better: free Wi-Fi for those who want to enjoy a meal while catching up on laptop work, and for parents, a beautifully decorated little playroom for the kids. The only drawback is that the upstairs seating isn’t very accessible for elderly guests, as the staircase is narrow and only allows one or two people at a time. Overall, I can’t fault this place. My family and I had a fantastic experience- I highly recommended!

I used to always go to their Publika outlet for brunch, but it was such a drive… so happy they’re now in Mutiara Damansara! It was packed with the office lunch crowd when I went, but food still came out really fast and steaming hot. The Kraken is a must-try ‼️ spicy, flavourful and that squid is hugeeee 🦑. Oh, please enjoy it with coffee. They roast their own beans, and the filter coffee is honestly my fav. Such a comfy spot to chill, catch up or even for a quick lunch.

Used to come here almost every week for the pancakes during my uni days. Best thing ever to have after class with friends. Recently went for lunch, amazing food, nice people & perfect ambiance. Food wise, nothing to shout about. Standard mix of western and Asian fare. Had the Ayam Legend. No complaints. Also ordered some pancakes which were a little dry. Prices are definitely on the higher end a meal for 7 adults and 3 kids was roughly RM450. The highlight of this place probably would be the playroom ok the upper floor. Definitely appealing for families and was the main reason we choose to have brunch here. P.s ~ If the owner is reading this, please do consider adding some sort of child barrier at the top of the stairs. It's too close to the play area.

Amazing food 😋 Every single dish we tried was fantastic! We especially loved the lasagna, pancakes, brioche, and the coffee was absolutely on point. Most importantly, the service was top-notch! We came here after seeing the high reviews on Google Maps, but our experience was underwhelming. My sister ordered the BBQ beef melt ciabatta, but the beef turned out quite dry and didn’t match the description of “pulled slow-cooked BBQ beef.” It was tough to chew, and she couldn’t finish most of it. I had the eggs royale, but the hollandaise sauce wasn’t quite to my liking as it didn’t taste like a proper hollandaise. The side salad also didn’t feel very fresh. The coffee was alright, but nothing particularly memorable. The ambience, however, was lovely, it’s a nice spot if you’re looking for a place to sit and have a coffee or drink. For the food, though, I think there’s room for improvement.

Ra-Ft Crown BLT is delicious with the crispy cheese to enhance the taste and nice presentation. Avocado mushroom and asparagus is nice but avocado very little only. Overall good dining experience

It has been awhile since I enjoyed cafe food. The small things done right makes all the difference in the food. The pork availability also puts this high on my list now. The service was warm & atmosphere was relaxing. Will definitely return.

The best breakfast, I have breakfast here with my husband every day. Always very tasty, the staff is very cute, caring and friendly, we like to talk with them. And the most delicious coffee! Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Carrie and Shenna were most attentive and helpful. Théy gave us a cake to try which was very light and fluffy, not overwhelmingly sweet.

A great brunch spot. I had the avocado and beetroot hummus toast was really tasty, the bread slices were thin though. The spinach and banana/honey smoothie was really tasty and sweet. The staff are very nice and welcoming too, would recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.

Nice breakfast/brunch place. The coffees selections and tastes are good. The food is flavourful and if you’d like to have a weekend activity for your kids or even yourself there are batik colouring fun activities u can do here and can bring back home. Nice place for couples, friends and family to hang out.

Surprised when Waze brought us to a gated community. Went there without an appointment, so we contacted Emilia. She wasn't friendly on the phone. So serene, but beware of mosquitos. We ordered salmon steak, fish & chips, hazelnut & vanilla latte. Everything tasted good, only the veggies aren't fresh. They have plenty of sauces too. Emilia is such a good host & mentioned 'honest food'. It felt like dining in a cafe, cooked by a family member.

The ambience is so nice. They had a lot of beautiful batik too. The food is good too. I've ordered Chicken Ham Croissant and it taste so good the price wise is affordable too for me.

Did not made a reservation as we have discovered the place via Google and did not check Instagram. The owner accepted us and served us HUGE portion of food and free slices of mooncakes ❤️ The owner is a really good conversation and nice lady. The ambient and food is so good. The experience is nothing compared to a cafe even as me and my girl friend can talk about issues in peace and not felt hurried at all. Loveeeee the fish salad and chips. 💕🙏🏻

First time trying Breakfast Thieves Bangsar. The food delicious and the portions were huge. We ordered the English breakfast, come with fluffy scrambled eggs, juicy grilled tomatoes, creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, tender beef brisket, sausages, turkey ham, pickled slaw, & toasted sourdough. Everything was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. It kept us full until late afternoon! We also had the mushroom soup with garlic bread. So creamy, warm, thick and super comforting. The garlic bread was warm and buttery, so perfect for dipping. The downsides are the limited parking, so come early if you can & quite noisy.

Nice place with a good vibe, but the food and drinks weren’t great. The chef should really work on improving what’s being served. Bonnie & Clyde - potato rosti was a bit too hard and could be softer for better taste. Jesse James - the avocado mash with cream cheese/cream didn’t taste good—plain avocado would have been better. Uncle Foo- The soft shell crab had a muddy, overly fishy flavor that lingered when tasting it, the sauce couldn’t cover up the strong fishy flavor. Orange American - The orange flavoring was a bit overpowering, making the overall blend too strong Hawaiian hula hula - Way too sweet, probably from extra syrup. Would be nice if we could pick the sugar level. Normally if I do enjoy all the foodies, I would take all pictures of what we've ordered that day🙄Felt fooled with the overrated ratings on the reviews tho. Unfortunately, don’t feel the food was worth the price, so I’m unlikely to return.

Had the Terry Benedict, beef brisket is tender, eggs poached nicely, the chips were good but the spinach was quite “old”. Hard to cut through and chew through. Muffin was also forgettable. Coffee latte art was nice. But the taste was mediocre. Would not order coffee again if ever here. Business was very good so perhaps there are other tastier options on the menu.

We came here several times during afternoon, and always enjoy ourselves with the coffee and various types of cooler and drinks. This time we tried the mango cake and it was good. The service team was friendly and helpful. A great place for meetings, and chill 😎

Used to be my go-to brunch spot but after they revamped and changed the menu it doesnt taste the same anymore :( super pricey too. just a chicken avocado toast costed me 30 bucks chicken was ice cold, the bread and filling doesnt gel well, sauce was just mayo.. all their toasties used to be full cheeses🥹 plus option to add fries. they dont have it anymore 😭

It’s really sad to hear they’re closing down for good.. I made sure to visit one last time before they stopped operating.. I had their signature dish, the Brûlée French Toast and it was delicious..The brioche bun was incredibly fluffy, perfectly paired with the fresh berries and creamy ice cream. Every bite was just heavenly.. I also tried their Ultimate Slushies Mocktail.. It was super refreshing with a slightly sour kick, which balanced the sweetness of the French Toast..A perfect pairing for my last brunch here 🥹

Came here for lunch with a bunch of friends. Noticed they had a very good set weekday lunch deal so ordered it - chipotle chicken chop, soup of the day and iced lemon team for rm22+ ( not inclusive 16%). The chipotle chicken was good and delicious, the soup good too just small. Overall good deal for food at birch with nice environment.

We used to love coming to Birch years ago, but it’s gotten extremely disappointing, mainly due to the food quality: 1. The meatballs were raw on the inside, not only was that a health hazard, but it tasted really off 2. The chicken tenders were burnt on the outside - the inside of the chicken was completely dry and had no flavor 3. The truffle carbonara was absolutely bland - there was no hint of any truffle or cheese, it was cooked using only a cheap liquid cream and nothing else. The portion was disappointing on top of it. 4. The burger was RM62 and it was the most basic, mediocre burger. Small in size, the brioche bun wasn’t very fresh, the patty was average at best, layered with only one tiny piece of lettuce, thin slice of cheese, and nothing else. Served with bland, unseasoned fries. 5. The Caesar salad was just a bunch of dry lettuce. The dressing wasn’t even a proper Caesar dressing - it seems like they’ve used a cheap, store-bought mayonnaise-like condiment, and it wasn’t even tossed into the salad properly - just very lightly drizzled on the top, leaving the rest of the salad dry and unseasoned. This kind of food quality is completely unacceptable, let alone with the prices they charge. We did appreciate the manager removing the most unsatisfactory items off our bill, but it was still a very disappointing experience. I really hope that they take all feedback into account and improve on their food quality.

The 500g steak set with sides and 2 drinks for less than Rm 200 is an absolute steal.... The beef burger is yummy too.

It was a good lunch today at birch with my Japanese Boss and my sister ,the staff are friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing and good ambiance ,music also was nice ,thank you to Paul (barista) who assists us well and the other staff there ,i liked the huckleberry burger superb❤️😋

Compared to many positive reviews about brunch at Birch , the dinner was not up to the expectations. specially the food is mediocre, portions were small and the menu lacked variety. The ambience, cleanliness and the service were good. Hope the management could look into this in a positive manner and revamp the dinner menu.

A good spot to have nice dinner with your friends and family. The service provided by the team was great and the food was excellent, especially the steak. It was superb and the extra foie gras gave extra flavour and the creamy texture to this dish. The only downside was some of the dishes I ordered was neither hot nor warm. Hope the kitchen team can improve on this.

Jaslyn Cakes is one of the OG bakeries in KL. I come here knowing that it’s foolproof when you are craving to eat a good slice of cake. My favourites are their salted caramel chocolate ganache (rich choc & not sweet at all), lemon drizzle butter loaf & most recently, the pistachio cake Only downside for their Bangsar outlet is the limited seating & how cramped it is as the store is only half a store. Best for grab & go Price is higher than usual but still better value compared to other cafes.

Very good cakes. Price is not cheap, but you know you are getting quality. Recently ordered the red velvet cake for a birthday. Easy online ordering. They even offered the option of laminating a small message to put on the cake. Decoration of cake is very minimalist. So I felt I had to jazz up the cake myself. Flavour and texture wise, the cake was spot on. Service: when I went to collect the cake, the staff were attentive . They asked when I will be eating the cake and even offered to cling wrap the box after finding out it will be 24 hours before the party. Cons: parking here is difficult. Hardly any parking which causes a headache.

I've visited Jaslyn’s many times whenever I’m in KL, but this time was quite a disappointment. I bought two cakes — the Lemon Drizzle and the Chocolate Salted Caramel. The lemon cake was decent, but the chocolate one was a letdown. At RM25 per slice, I expected much more. The cake was dry, the caramel was bitter, and most of all, I had hoped for a rich couverture chocolate ganache. Instead, it tasted like low-quality chocolate. I really hope they improve the quality of their bakes — I’ve always loved visiting and would be happy to return in the future 🙏🏽

The cozy cake place is a famous spot for various freshly baked cakes. I ordered the earl grey chiffon cake with iced black coffee for tea time. The cake is really soft and fluffy and not too sweet, it's the perfect after meal dessert with black coffee as well.

I still think about their peanut butter chocolate cake , so good and it can be shared with 2 people as it’s quite heavy. I would like to order this again 🥹

The cakes are delicious, carrot cake, brownies and some other unique cakes are also available. The cafe has a nice cozy vibe to it but it a little hard to find parking in this area. Great place for dessert and tea time hangouts.

This dessert shop has mouth-watering yummy cakes to offer. Had a pistachio cake slice that was quite a delightful experience. Prices are on the high side perhaps. Overall worth visiting for afternoon tea or when craving for sweet cakes!

the food here was so good. i ordered salmon creamy pasta (?), i think so. the portion for the food was good enough that can fill up my hungry stomach. and the price kind of impressed me, because it is really affordable. not to pricey, and kind of cheap to me. for the taste and the portion, i do think the price is really reasonable. the service there is fast, the staff there was so friendly to us. even though there were so many people at the time, the waiting time for the food there, is faster than i expected. the atmosphere there was good and kind of chill if you’re not going there in the peak hours. but overall, i do love this place and their foods.

I tried their famous mushroom beef burger and it was really good! Bread is really buttery, burger was big and the fries was good but a bit too salty for me. My only complaint is the plate needs to be bigger since it can be messy to eat the burger. Will definitely come here again and try other menus! For the drink, I ordered lychee and it was good too.

Every bite tastes like pure love — you can genuinely feel the passion poured into their cooking. even till today i still craving for their mushroom sandwich 😭 not 100% sure but I think we were their first customers of the day — so we had to wait around 40–45 minutes. But the food… SO WORTH THE WAIT 🔥🙌 😭❤️

I've eaten here a few times with my uni friends for lunch, and it's quickly become our go-to spot. The lunch set is super affordable — perfect for students — and the location is really convenient, just a short walk from the Pasar Seni LRT station. The food? Absolutely delicious. Some dishes are mindblowingly good, especially considering the price. I'm actually on a mission to try every dish on the menu, and I'm almost there! The staff are friendly and efficient, always quick to make space for new customers. Overall, this place has earned a permanent spot in our hearts — and I don’t think that’s changing anytime soon.

Breadfruits has been around for as long as I remember. Staying put at its original location since 2012, I have started coming here before they renovated to have a newer and nicer interior. Some changes have been made to their menu to include newer items. The dining experience is definitely better compared to the past with the warm wood-tones earthy colours ◾Spanish Baked Egg (RM29) with bacon, baked beans, rocket, cheese and toast on the side. The sonny who's a fan of baked egg finished everything without problem. ◾The "Baked" Breakfast RM29 - sausage, bacon, sunny side up, shimeiji, cherry tomato, cheese, rocket and toast. To my dismay, only half a sausage cut in half was given when I expected an entire sausage. ◾BLT Avocado Guacamole RM26 - bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg, avocado guacamole and sourdough got the usually picky princess approval. ◾Pumpkin soup - something comforting in the morning to warm the tummy. ◾While the food menu was good , same thing couldn't be said about their coffee. It tasted diluted with milky taste stronger than the coffee. In the ever-changing landscape in Desa Sri Hartamas with many F&B come and go, I felt relieved to see that Breadfruits managed to stay in business so that I can enjoy my English breakfast whenever I'm in the area.

Food: Great! We ordered SatisFry Breakfast & Baked Breakfast. Food is fresh and taste good especially SatisFry Breakfast. It comes with a juice for the day which was freshly squeezed and a coffee/tea which is also great! Service: Could be better. Don’t expect great service with warm greetings :) Atmosphere: Place is a bit dark and crowded with many interior and stuffs.

A very nice cozy cafe that has lots of tables but surprisingly still feels that it is pretty spacious for a small cafe. Food is tasty and I enjoyed my pasta! The big breakfast is rather worth it too as it comes with coffee and a small cup of juice. Will want to visit again to try other food. Overall, we were satisfied with our meals although food may take awhile to be ready (about 20mins) and I was in a rush.

Decent little cafe to do catch with friends. The pasta are properly cooked and served hot. They may not have the most sophisticated furniture but the owner makes sure the tables are clean and stainless.

Love love LOVE Breadfruits! I’ve been so many times over the years and have tried different dishes and they never disappoint! The food is also reasonably priced compared to some of the other high end brunch places in KL, but that’s not to say the food isn’t good - it’s just as good, if not better! The brunch pasta is a firm favourite of my boyfriend and other friends of mine but I love trying something new each time - their salads are great and surprisingly filling and the grilled cheese I had was really delicious. I highly recommend getting their juices too, I love their detox juice and the serving size is huge!

Ordered Satisfry Up (which come with a coffee/tea & an orange juice), Szechuan Spanish Sakura Pork Belly ( to me is 👍) and Earl Grey Lavender (must follow it brewing time if not, might get high 😅). I would rate Satisfry Up 8/10 but their pork sausage aren't like others, the seasoning just ngam for me. I love the Szechuan Spanish, first time i tried this pork belly match so well with steamed pumpkin. The whole plate is flavorful and the taste compliments each other. Szechuan Spanish is cooked to my liking and i simply love it.

It was recommended by a friend due to its good review and location that's near to where we hike - Kiara hills. We ordered what was being recommended - the big breakfast and it was superb! I also ordered their immune booster juice and it was sooo good! Strongly recommended and will patronize again!

Artisan Roast has come a long way since its old spot I used to frequent. The new location offers more space and a refreshed vibe—without losing its charm. Thankfully, the coffee remains just as great.

Artisan Roast in TTDI is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet shoplot, perfect for coffee lovers. The long black is excellent, well-roasted with a smooth body, great aroma, and not overly dark, making it very enjoyable. Their chocolate chip cookies are also delicious, with just the right texture and sweetness. For something refreshing, the passionfruit mint kombucha is a lovely surprise, light, tangy, and balanced. Service is friendly and comes with a smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The ambience is cosy and relaxed, great for quiet conversations, reading, or working. A fantastic spot to escape the crowds and enjoy quality coffee and treats. Definitely worth a visit.

Set-up in a quiet part of ttdi, a street less talked about or travelled. Easy street parking. Inviting shop, friendly barristas. Wooden and raw brick-divided seating, with a long table for groups. Had an egg sandwich in focaccia bread - soft centre, crunchy outer and just enough chew. And a dirty white with house beans - 'monkey puzzle'. A light roast with faint hints of calamamsi. Couldn't quite catch the spicy calendula note. Dirty white was served with ice cubes and a straw. A first for me!

We ordered our coffee iced, but were told it was recorded as hot. Fine, we agreed to pay extra for the change. But when the drink came, the glass wasn’t even cleaned properly. For a RM16 coffee, we expected much better quality and service.

It's definitely a hotspot for chocolate lovers, a place with chill vibes. The team here is super friendly and well knowledgeable of all things chocolate. My experience was sensational. I highly recommend this spot. And got to fry their range of kombucha. The Yuzu mint is so damn good!

Food and beverage is mediocre perhaps we didn't order their signature. Place is not crowded, easy to get seats. People here is friendly and helpful. Portion is slightly small giving price in comparison. Its a good place for those on food diet like me. :) Located at china town, easy to access. Crowded with traveller and some locals too.

The decor was true to its name - vintage furnishings for a vintage atmosphere. I tried their recommended classic - the cheese beef burger. Set me back by about RM30 for the meal. The overall dish failed to make an impression on me (perhaps because I didn't like the lettuce) though the beef was decent. The cafe appears to be a nice place to sit and chill while taking a break from the hot sun. Heard their desserts were good though I've not tried it.

The overall ambience of the cafe is nice, with vintage look and feel. However the staff is extremely unfriendly when we didn’t know the Tiramisu we ordered (through a qr code) we had to select between alcohol or non alcohol. So the staff came to us fiercely saying that we had to make a choice. So we tried to tell her that the digital menu was a bit confusing to us and not user friendly. Not only she did not accept or acknowledge our feedback, she was keen on us to make a choice instantly. We decided to cancel the tiramisu order because of her attitude. And the rest of the food, was bland. Fried chicken was not marinated and tasted like no salt, scrambled eggs was too watery. The toast is nice though. Drinks are just mediocre, pricey but nothing to shout about.

To start, staff is unfriendly, we were sitting inside the restaurant for 12-15 mins and no one bothered to talk to talk us. So we went to front counter and ordered detox juice without ice. When they served the juice, it was filled with ice, so we requested to remove ice and the quantity of the juice was half the glass (see pic) and was charged 20 RM for mediocre juice. This place is totally not worth the visit. Skip it

Vintage 1988: Nice decoration, love the drinks but.... The interior design from the outside to the end of the restaurant is really great & superb instagrammable! Salute the effort to decorating the shop. The ambient is really nice especially for a night date. The drinks is superb. Was surprised with their carrot juice, totally not as usual and it's really great. However, food was decent! And to be honest, I would some doesn't taste good at all. I ordered the Hinachi sandwich, quite pricey and one of the most pricey food on the menu. However, I'm disappointed! The meat is over good and hard. My friend ordered the Chick N Licking, not so bad, but nothing great. I don't really like the "special" sauce taste (could be personal, but doesn't taste good to me). Another star loses due to the service. All of the waiter keeping their self hidden at the counter. Very hard to call one for help. Need to come to the counter for any add on or assistance. Very disappointing, especially for the service charge they charged. Would recommend if you want to have a romantic place to date & for Instagram, & if you don't mind paying a price for a decent food. At least their beverages is good.

The food is good but a little pricey but considering it is in the heart of KL, it’s normal. The burger was really good and the fries are THE BEST, the pasta was also very well made and the strawberry matcha cake is always my go to!

Went for coffee. Ordered the pandan gula melaka coffee with less ice. Was surprised to receive only half a glass. The pandan flavour was insufficient. The latte was fine. Their signature dessert is Tiramisu. They had run out of it. Staff are friendly & helpful. It's a lovely place with few antic artefacts & a good place to chat.

UNDERMINED & UNDERRATED ☕️🍳 DEFINITELY NOT UNDERSTOOD. Lim Kee Cafe remains a place of quiet affection for me, a haven of simplicity that holds both charm and sentiment. Last year, I spent my birthday at the vintage Hotel Tian Jing, where every detail - the creak of the wooden floors, the porcelain China, the brass fixtures, and the open-air shower- whispered of days long past. After a night immersed in the intensity of a metal concert, I returned to find Chinatown still alive with its own midnight energy, yet the calm of my room welcomed me like a forgotten friend. This year, my return was less grand in intention, driven by the simple wish to collect a sticker from the hojicha latte they serve so perfectly. But even after a year, the staff remembered me, greeting me with wide smiles as though no time had passed. Truly, if fate is kind, I shall return again, drawn back by the warmth and quiet beauty of this place.

A fabulous oasis in the middle of Chinatown. They take extra care with their drinks, it's cool with clean washrooms. Stop here for a break from the heat. We had the iced matcha and passion mojito. Recommended!

The choice of food is limited. Try their alcohol cake is quite large and rich in alcohol, which is not bad. I enjoy my time here.

Delightful little airconditioned cafe. They have a selection of reasonably priced coffees (for a touristy location). Had their blueberry cake which was a delicious treat. Soft music in the back ground rounds off the experience. The absolute nicest place in the area to take a breather.

I went to a famous chain drink shop across the street from this cafe and asked for a black coffee with no milk and no sugar, but they didn’t have it. The staff told me that the cafe across the street, located on the first floor of a hotel, would have it. The building’s exterior was lovely, and the atmosphere inside was nice. The staff were quiet but friendly, and I was able to enjoy a delicious black coffee.

You probably don't remember me, it's been a long time, but when I open my photo album, I see pictures of your cafe, and I have to thank you for your kind style and delicious food. It's true that I'm a Muslim, and halal food wasn't often available, but I liked our respect for each other's religions. Also, that day was our last day in Malaysia, so we wanted to go to a cafe near the hotel, so I saw the cafe on Google Maps, so I suggested to my sisters to go there on foot, and thank God, I wasn't disappointed. First visit here and tried the coffee, burnt cheesecake, and sandwiches. The food and coffee were quite good. The café is spacious and comfortable, with power plugs available, which made me feel welcome to stay longer, charge my devices, and get some work done. I’ll definitely be back to try the pastas and other cakes next time. 4 stars for now!

I would say this is an overrated restaurant which the waiting time for foods and drinks are a lil too long. There are several customers complained about it. If you are in a big group, you might have the chance to have your foods to be served together.

Dropped by with colleagues after lunch at the loke yew flats. A lot of different seating arrangements packed in a tight space. A very extensive menu. As we visited for coffee and dessert, we shared a tiramisu. Nice, fluffy, not too sweet. I had a dirty latte. Chocolaty, nutty feel on chilled milk. Would have liked the coffee more floral or fruity - they only have 1 choice of beans, however.

Pause the day for a while and enjoy a cuppa (or dessert for that matter). Pause Cafe is located under old flats in Jalan Choo Cheng Kay in Kg Attap area. We came here for a quick one hour coffee stop after having heavy breakfast in city centre. Quite quiet and serene.. some were seen working on their laptop while sipping coffee. ◾Yuzu Rose - korean yuzu pulp + soda + rose topping... The hot weather outside called for a refreshing cold drinks and it worked. Love the combo! ◾Rose Latte served in traditional Chinese tea cup gave a pleasing aesthetic look with the petals arranged nicely on top of the coffee art. ◾Tiramisu in Cup - nicely layered and most importantly not too sweet. Just be careful as not to choke on the chocolate powder on top. This place is what I hope to be near my home. Will drop by again when I'm in the area next time.

This place is superb! Really comfy atmosphere with awesome food, this Tiramisu in a cup was a bomb 🤤 their sandwich also, it was so moist where the outer is super crunchy. The only advice if you’re visiting is to keep the spicy level low when ordering cause the taste of the spicy chicken rice is crazy nice, don’t let the spicy bland it down 🌶️

I’ve visited this restaurant several times, and every visit continues to surprise me with its delicious and creative dishes. The ambiance is elegant and beautifully designed, making it such a pleasant place to dine. One of the highlights is their exclusive selection of house wines, which truly elevates the overall experience and sets the restaurant apart. A restaurant with such thoughtful design, great food, and curated wines definitely deserves high praise.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere! From the inside, you wouldn’t know the entrance is on a busy street. The interior has been beautifully renovated while maintaining the original architecture. Plenty of natural light filters in through the central courtyard. Service was great — we didn’t wait long. The food was excellent, with expertly crafted dishes full of flavour. Our favourites were the grilled beans, slow-cooked eggplant, and tempura kadok.

Nasi ulam and Umai are very tasty! For the otak-otak, it is something new but lack of flavour. The portion for each dishes area relatively small. Not worth the price. The building has an open concept, but they do have air conditioning around the dining area. The open area in the middle is quite warm and stuffy, not to forget we get mosquitoes bite too.🙃 Overall experience is good.

The building itself is historical and there's an art exhibit on the 1st floor as well. The coffee was perfect. Got the malaysian blend iced pour over which was quality! Also ordered the sour plum drink which was exceptional. The interior design is done in order to reflect the heritage of the building. It's an excellent restoration job and this place deserves a lot more. We didn't try the food but the drinks were worthy of these 5 stars.

Amazing atmosphere, perfect for a date night. The food felt familiar yet full of surprises, with local flavors blended in such a gentle and thoughtful way. My favorite has to be their nasi ulam udang salai, absolutely delightful!

What an absolute treat this was. We ordered all of the appetizers and veg/non veg dishes and it was such a wonderful combination of flavors, texture, fragrant spices plated beautifully without being fussy. Would recommend to anyone visiting

The place was nice old building converted to a restaurant, lots of green and interesting corners. We had the tasting menu which btw should have been described as mostly vegetarian with fish as main course. The appetizer courses were okay, the main course of fish and rice was good, the dessert was the best out of all. My advice, just order ala carte if you have particular tastes or expectations.

Bad experience. When they serve our coffee to the table, they almost throw the cup and she spilled the coffee. And she did nothing, just run away. I don’t know why she was so emotional at that time. This is really unprofessional. She needed to control her emotion at least. Anyway I will never visit this shop again. Strongly don’t recommend here.

Its a good place for meetings/ work online. The space is huge. I didnt eat anything but had coffee. The flat white was good. The staff were friendly. Quite place to get work done. Definitely come here again.

They have some unique coffee flavored drinks. I tried union boi, that is very unque taste. I like that. This space has sockets at each table, good for working.

I went on a weekday for lunch. Breakfast as per pic was okay (they shouldn't use shitake for mushrooms, it should be either white button or portobello), but iced lemon tea was diluted and subpar. Total for both RM44. Male staff who doubled as cashier and waiter was friendly. WiFi was easy to connect but slow to load. Background music was soft. Every seat against the wall has an electricity socket. All seats are well distanced as floor space was huge. A pleasant place to have a meal while working.

Loved the ambience of this place. Modern zen feeling. Their tea series is the key that attracts me to this place. And truly, it didn't disappoint me. Drinks are really refreshing, fragrant & nice. Food is average. The cake flavour is quite unique. The price is on the higher side.

Both the interior and exterior are super aesthetic and comfy to be in. Loved the bathroom design and toilet was clean. Tried the mentaiko spaghetti with prawn, pasta was cooked perfectly, and the flavour was okay, but the sauce was a bit too thick for my liking. The prawn tasted fresh, which was nice. The soft shell crab roll was alright, but I could barely see any crab in it. The onigiri had a crispy outer layer, but overall just tasted pretty normal. The Genmaicha Tiramisu came with a thick layer of cream and only one layer of ladyfinger at the bottom. I really liked the chocolate balls (they added a nice crunch) but personally I think it would be better with another layer of ladyfinger to balance out all that cream. Oat milk latte was okay, not particularly special. Staff were accommodating. Overall, a decent spot with comfy interior and okay food.

Too crowded, need to wait for table. I only ordered the dirty matcha and coffee, didn't take any meal, so far the dirty coffee taste good, recommend to try but pick a brew dirty coffee taste better. Where else the dirty matcha not so good, the milk not a combination for the matcha. Overall recommend for check-in once to experience the atmosphere.

The cafe gives a great vibe and the round table were comfortable to seat and enjoy. But the food , drinks and service is not as expected. The desserts are overly priced for very small size , we came to try the tiramisu but it was the most disappointing thing we ordered, its full of cream , we can’t even taste the ladyfinger layer, very mild taste too. When we shared the feedback with the Manager at cashier, he seems to ignoring our comments and he said something like we cannot compared to those selling in pasar malam, sure that one they give bigger portion?!?! This is not the response we want to hear after spending almost 250++ , seems sarcastic! Not going here again!

I purposely went there just to try their tiramisu, but honestly, it was quite disappointing. The portion was very small (I feel like even my 3-year-old niece could finish it alone) and the taste was underwhelming. I couldn’t even taste the ladyfinger – it was just mild, creamy, and nothing premium. Definitely overpriced for what it is, and it did not satisfy my tiramisu craving at all. I’ve had much better elsewhere. Another point: I’ve noticed many complaints about not being allowed to takeaway tiramisu, and I agree it feels rather unreasonable. In Malaysia, “tapau” is part of our lifestyle – perhaps they should work on an R&D solution to accommodate that. The tiramisu itself is extremely soft, almost melting with just a bit of movement, which is unusual and not necessarily in a good way. Overall, the food and drinks didn’t meet expectations and were not worth it, in my personal opinion. On top of that, the service was confusing. There was no line to pay QR at the cashier and when I told the cashier he just say oh ya (am like huh?). I have encountered this at other place before and the cashier immediately offer me to connect to their WIFI to pay (WIFI details all ready to give) and we call this GREAT service and going beyond for customer and hello this is service line. And when I paid in cash, the cashier seemed unsure how to calculate, even returning money as if I had overpaid. Honestly, perplexed.

Great to chill outside to enjoy the Genmaicha Tiramisu - delicious. It goes well with the Kaori Houjicha Latte. The Yuzu sea salt sencha is refreshing after a heavy dinner . It has a variety on the menu that is worth trying on the next visit.

I had breakfast here this morning and it was a great start to the day. The food came out hot and fresh, and everything tasted like it was made with care. The scrambled eggs were soft and creamy, the bacon was crisp without being dry, and the toast had just the right amount of crunch. The coffee was strong and smooth, and they kept the refills coming without me needing to ask. The service was warm and unhurried, which made the whole experience feel relaxed. The place had a calm atmosphere, with just enough background noise to feel lively but not overwhelming. Prices were fair for the quality and portions.

If you are fussy about your coffee that's not the best place to go but overall it's okay, and if you are not fussy is probably very good. Service was good, quite quick and staff look happy working there so it gives a nice vibe to the place. The bagel was good but not enough cream cheese. Toast with butter and jam was nice but we were rushing for a tour and the butter was really hard and impossible to spread, other than that the bread was really nice, jam also good.

Amazing food! I got the stuffed omelette and it was amazing, comes with a croffle. The spaghetti was also amazing for my 1 year old, and then the rest of us finished it. We added grilled chicken as an extra. 10/10 was pleasantly surprised. Great music, great ambiance. Great food!

We came here for breakfast, and overall, the food was amazing, but the service could use some improvement. I personally don’t like having to order through QR codes, especially when there’s no physical menu available. My mum isn’t comfortable with ordering digitally either, she prefers speaking to someone, as do I. Part of what makes dining out special is the human interaction. If we wanted to order on our phones, we’d just stay in and order room service at our 5 star hotel! That being said, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Peanut Butter Croffles, and my mum had the Biscoff Croffles, both were incredible. They were beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and so filling that we didn’t even need lunch afterwards. I also ordered a matcha, which was lovely, and my mum enjoyed her English breakfast tea as well. The atmosphere of the café is nice, but the service didn’t quite match the food quality. The staff didn’t seem very engaged or cheerful, no smiles, no “how’s everything going?”, which was a little disappointing, especially since Malaysian hospitality is usually so warm and welcoming. I wanted to give this place 4 or even 5 stars because the food deserves it, but the lack of personal service held the experience back. Hopefully, with a little more warmth and attentiveness from the team, it could easily become one of the best cafés around. I really love this place! The breakfast was not only delicious but also beautifully presented 😍. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe is cozy and welcoming. It's a great spot to start the day and relax for a while. The only small issue is that it gets quite hot inside 🥵 , so a bit more ventilation or air conditioning would make it perfect. Still, I would definitely come back! 🥰

The food was pleasantly satisfying. The croffle stood out with its soft, chewy texture complemented by a slight crisp. While the ventilation could be improved, the dining environment remains reasonably comfortable. The availability of power points is also a practical feature for those who wish to work during their visit.

Excelente food and attention to details. We order the Alfredo pasta, Fride rice and the aioli chicken panini, I recommend them. But all the dishes are really tasty 🙌 The people that works there is really nice

I really enjoyed the shakshouka here, it was well-seasoned and definitely the highlight of the meal. However, I felt the pizza could use some improvement. The crust was quite hard and had more of a biscuit-like texture, which made it less enjoyable. I suspect this might be due to the type of flour used, as it didn’t have the light and chewy texture I usually expect from a good pizza base. We chose to sit outside, and while it was quite hot, it was still manageable and added to the casual atmosphere. The service, on the other hand, was great. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Lovely place to catch up with friends and family when the weather is not too humid as this place is an open-air concept. Simple meals are quite fresh and tasty. However there are similar cafes in Klang Valley that offers the same taste meals with lower price. In my view food is overhyped here. Their brownie should reduce sugar, both the "cake" and the topping/drizzle are sweet. A bitter chocolate drizzle is better to balance the cake sweetness. Best to just reduce sugar in the "cake".

tried the arriabata bacon pasta and the lamb meatballs sandwich. the pasta was excellent, full of flavour and a nice level of spice, very tasty! the presentation of the pasta was very impressive as well. the sandwich though was a bit of a letdown. i loved how cheesy it was and it was cooked very well, but the portions of meatball was way too little. sloppy presentation too. overall, i’d still recommend this restaurant and would love to go back and try the other items!

We had breakfast. The food is yummy! Although it is outdoor seating, it's cool, not hot. Surrounded by plants, the ambience is calming. Very inviting to sit just a little longer. And check out the cute mochacino!

The European atmosphere of the restaurant really caught our eye, which was why we went for a visit in the first place. Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. Would definitely recommend. We ordered the sicilian style meatball pizza, orzo pasta with feta cheese and all day big breakfast, all were very good!

The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was excellent. I was impressed by the waiter's attention to detail - they used a tissue to hold the plates when placing them to avoid touching them directly, which I thought was a fantastic example of good etiquette. As for food, we ordered the following. 1. Mushroom Soup - the soup was decent, it have some shredded mushroom sediment. It came with two pieces of toast and was a good portion for one portion. 2. Antipodean Hawaii Pizza (6 slices) - the crust was thin and crispy, with a texture similar to a biscuit, which made it a little bit hard to chew. the toppings were ok, but the crust's texture was not quite to my personal taste. 3.Napoli Pork Meatball Spaghetti - moderation portion perfect for one person, the taste is ok. While the food I ordered on this visit wasn't the best I've ever had, I've previously enjoyed the big breakfast here and would be happy to return to try more of the menu.

Nice coffee shop. I drank affogato and can taste coffee is good, but ice cream is so sweet with me. I'm Vietnamese so i'm not familiar with sweet food. My friend drank honey lemon tea, it's simple and not good enough. It seems not have tea, only lemon and honey mixing. I think to rate for kinds of fruit tea, Vietnam is the best.

First time visiting this branch, most of the time I would go all the way to Bangsar to get their Breakfast meal. Order a few planter, It was good, still I prefer the Bangsar branch. Probably because of the environment ? It kinda taste better at Bangsar.

The Avocado on toast was perfectly balanced, with fresh, creamy avocado paired with a nice crunch from the toast. The Eggs Benedict was equally impressive, with perfectly poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce. We also tried the crepes, which were light, fluffy, and simply delightful. But what really stood out was the coffee – hands down, the best we've had in Malaysia! Smooth, rich, and flavorful, it's the perfect pick-me-up. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make this place a true gem. Highly recommended for breakfast or brunch!

Recently had my first visit to this cafe, things went well overall. I had a cup of Flat White, just a normal coffee, nothing much. After my friend arrived, we had mushroom soup for starter, a nice one. Followed by Shrimp Salted Egg Pasta and Grilled Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sause, both dish were nice and tasty. Thanks to the cafe and will visit again.

Really recommend this cafe! Very tasty foods with reasonable price. Got so many choices of delicious foods too. The pancake was so fluffy, I love it. And the spaghetti was well cooked. Worth every penny that I’ve paid. The price might be quiet pricey for some people but it is very reasonable. The service also good as well as the staffs. Thumbs up!

Amazing food! I had lunch with my friends here, and had the smoked duck pasta - the duck was cooked perfectly, and had the perfect balance of spicyness and flavour! I had onion rings as well, it was a delicious appetiser. Would recommend both dishes!

Love the simple and rustic ambience. Friendly staff. Food, not bad. Ordered aglio olio with grilled chicken, and also ice latte. But, they are very careful with condiments that we requested, particularly chilli sauce and sugar syrup.

I had a really enjoyable dining experience at Étoile Restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. I ordered the garlic herb chicken breast, and it was absolutely delicious — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I got the carbonara and watermelon juice. The food and drink are just okay. Not to the point that i’d go there again solely for eating. But the place does have a nice ambiance. I only dropped by since i was checking out of the hotel and was starving. What’s great is that my order arrived fast probably less than 15 minutes

Perfect 4 stars for me because of the level of service, taste of food and ambience in here. I took away 1 star because they serve alcohol in an adjacent counter and the food portion is too little. Waiters however were very kind and accommodating to our special needs - including being seated far from the alcohol, cooking the pasta a bit spicier and less oily.

Went to EQ KL for brunch today and was served by the restaurant manager, Mr. Halil—a young and energetic professional. He took our orders meticulously, served us attentively, and even asked for instant feedback on the food and service. Truly impressed by his professionalism and efforts. He deserves full credit for making our dining experience exceptional.

Main dishes are average taste. We ordered salmon teriyaki garlic fried rice, Stay pizza, Curry Chicken cutlets. The dessert is good. We ordered Signature Mille Crepe Cake, Hanjuku Cheese Tart. Drinks a mix: Good - Soursop, Mango Slushy. Average: Chocolate Milkshake. We had lunch here. Probably best to visit here for tea. Good ambience for chit chat.

This is a good place to rest your feet. In every shopping mall, there must always have a place for you to relax, cool down and take a breather. This is a place in mid valley up for contention. I enjoyed my break here. The environment is unique and the decor really flowery. But I can get used to it. Can be quite relaxing. Most importantly, good for people watching while having food and drinks. I loved the layered cake. The drinks were also well made. All in all, good place to relax and take a break. Not out of this world, but definitely worthwhile.

Have tried their cheese tart a few times and decided to also try their high tea set (RM79) and Fish & Chips (RM18.90). Great atmosphere with decent service. Food definitely can be improved. I felt that the high tea set was a little lackluster. The croissant was too small to be shared between two people and the mini burger's bread seemed a little stale. As for the fish & chips, I did like the wasabi mayo but it was a little too runny for my taste. Would definitely prefer if it had a similar consistency as the traditional tartar sauce. Although a little disappointing, I would come again to try other menu items. Would situationally recommend. Overall, 6.5/10.

So many reviews probably due to the RM1 ice-cream promo if you leave a good review. Anyway, it's a lovely and quiet place to chill and have coffee and cakes. Milky blue lagoon waffles is yummy. Satay pizza is a little sweet for my liking. Coffee and hot chocolate are ok. Came here becoz there were no seats at 8oz coffee. Hokkaido milk ice-cream is good. Place is really pretty. Secret garden inspired I suppose. The top level is however closed off during our visit. Only went up for photos. Staff are nice and friendly.

Was really happy to find this place! The cheese tart was sooooo good. The hot chocolate was not bad too. The ice cream was ok. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing as it was slightly closed from the busy mall. There even have free wifi. Would definitely come again and recommend others to do the same. There was a loud male staff who seem to be berating a new staff at the counter and I found it stressful just listening to him. I hope the new staff is ok.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this delightful cafe that served the most delicious cheese tarts I've ever tasted! The crust was perfectly flaky and the cheese filling was rich, creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness. The service was exceptional, the staff were friendly, attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. The ambience of the cafe was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and beautiful decor. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a delicious treat and a wonderful dining experience. Came on 7/8/2020 to celebrate my birthday. Unique location as it is accessible from L1 for wheelchairs & L2 via escalator of Mid-valley. It is also near the exit of the pathway (bridge) towards The Gardens. Beautiful ambiance! Delicious and presentable f&b. The manager was very friendly & helpful. The waitresses were nice, fast service but lack of interactive skills🤭 Original cheese tart is the best-selling item (it melts in your mouth especially when you eat it fresh!😁) Recommended👍👍👍

No doubt their afternoon tea set and services were always top notch, but I just want to highlight about the RM102(with tax) Caesar salad with salmon roll, petite portion, not enough veges, lots of croutons… It’s not right to serve such below average salad to guests. I don’t mind paying the price but please at least make me feel it’s worth it?

It was a splendid experience having the afternoon tea here. We were assisted by Rohaizad and the service was exceptional. The afternoon tea spread food gives a unique blend of taste from sweet to savory. The savory part combined western palate with traditional malay taste like bunga kantan and such. Afternoon tea at St. Regis is SO worth it! Honestly one of the best I’ve had. Every single bite was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. They served us so much food that we had to pack some to go (no complaints here!). Absolutely worth every penny. Dad treated us to fine dining at St. Regis KL, starting with appetizers, followed by the main course and their elegant afternoon tea set, paired with coffee or tea of our choice. I especially loved the stunning mirror reflection adorned with a thousand horses.

Amazing experience! 🫖🌸 The horse statue from the Colombian artist and sculptor Fernando Botero in the drawing room is a treasure to behold in KL, a not so little piece of Latin America was there welcome us. The Staff was incredible and so kind explaining the details of our lovely afternoon tea with a high level of care and attention. Thank you very much for this experience especially the unforgettable creations of Chef. Hidayat, alongside Wahyu who took very good care of us, special thanks to the rest of the team Omar, Genki, Stevia and Rohaizad. We plan to repeat the next time we pass through KL. an experience not to be missed!

Dropped by The Drawing Room at St. Regis KL for a quick birthday catch up with a friend.. While the food options were a bit limited, the ambiance more than made up for it.. It is calm, elegant and perfect for a relaxed conversation.. A lovely spot if u’re looking for a quiet and classy place to unwind..

Google Map still showing as Old Town WhiteCoffee. But it is no more already. Rebranded as “Restoran Kopitiam Number One”. It is now a kopitiam serves with tasty food. Too bad my stomach is small so no chance to try out most of them. Also my timeline in Sri Petaling was short lived.

Old town in sri petaling provide a good services as other branch..good quality of food and clean indoor/ outdoor environment.Menu and price follow standard. Toilet is clean. But, if you are using wheelchair, there is no toilet big enough for wheelchair. Parking place around the restaurant, is very limited and lastly, if you are smoking, you may use the ourdoor section of the restaurant. Overall, if you wanna find a place for hang out and grap some healthy malaysian/western food with reasonable price, you may consider old town as one of your best candidate. Ps. The coffees quite good, but on my personal opinion, love the Starbucks more. Haha! :D

Not a big fan of the white coffee here and the black coffee too had a weird taste, but it's served the purpose of waking me up. The breakfast was excellent and service to. Food is quiet cheap here and is good quality as well.

You can find better cafes around here. But if you are looking for somewhere you can spend long hours for PCing by connecting with a socket, I think this is one of such places. I am not sure this cafe is welcome such a guest though... Foods are moderate and normal. The interior is little old and dirty.

Traditional Malaysian delicacy. There is nasi lemak, chao gue teow, wan tun mee, and stuff like that.

Last i came here was before covid….. and now thier chicken in a Nasi Lemak turned to be a small chicken drumet….. and the sambal also okok la….. quite a dissapointment…

Niko Neko is a tea and matcha specialist shop based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, founded by Syun Hattori and Izzat Iskandar. The idea originated from a love for authentic Japanese tea, especially matcha and roasted tea varieties such as houjicha. They started around 2015 with the aim of introducing high-quality Japanese tea to the Malaysian market, not only as a beverage but also as an experience — from the selection of tea powder types, explanations of umami levels, to the minimalist aesthetics of the shop. I tried one of the menu items called Tsubaki. It is a medium roast houjicha powder from the ‘Yabukita’ tea variety originating from Mie, Japan. Its flavour profile includes a hazelnut aroma, moderate nuttiness, smoky roast notes, and a slightly caramelised finish with a hint of seaweed afterwards. Because of its medium roast level, it is not too heavy or bitter, but has a warm and satisfying character. Tsubaki leans more towards a rich and complex roasted/smoky flavour—a nice variation from the usually more vegetative/umami or lightly sweet matcha latte. The burnt cheesecake genmaicha at Niko Neko is one of the more notable dessert options. The texture is dense and melts in the mouth, but not excessively so that it still feels light when eaten. The genmaicha (green tea + roasted rice) flavour comes through as a soft roasted and nutty aroma, giving it a warm character. The colour is slightly brownish on the ‘burnt’ part but not burnt, just enough caramelisation to add another dimension of flavour—a contrast between the slightly stronger aroma of the ‘burnt’ surface and the creamy inside. The sweetness level is generally considered just right—not too sweet so that the tea and roasty-rice flavours still come through. Burnt Cheesecake Genmaicha is a great complement because it brings roasted notes in the form of a dessert, not a beverage. Overall, this cheesecake successfully combines genmaicha and burnt cheese—marrying a soft, creamy texture with the roasted and nutty aroma of genmaicha, making it an appealing dessert to follow a strong tea beverage. It is definitely worth trying.

Even though we came in just before closing, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us great drinks, and we were finally able to try the desserts — we had visited another branch three times before, but they only had drinks available. We were so happy to finally try them. The staff (malay girl) not friendly and kind of rude. She probably knows we ordered matcha using booklet from side table. She probably know no one was sitting at that table apart from us but she serving the empty table instead. Also when she grabbed the booklet, she sort of just taking it without asking.

The Ajisai matcha latte was really creamy, but the cheesecake was just decent. Otherwise, the environment was cozy and nice. As for the matcha powder, most of the items were sold out, and they said it should be bought online on TikTok or Shopee

A little hard to find but WOW the matcha + cheesecake combination is simply out of this world! I loved the sleek, minimalist decor that was pleasing as i sipped my matcha.

I’m a fan of their drinks and have tried them from almost every outlet. Unfortunately, the Bangsar outlet is consistently disappointing the drinks are always diluted and overly foamy, which feels unacceptable for RM18. It’s frustrating to pay the same price but receive a lower quality product compared to other outlets. For example, just compare the drink on the right from the Ampang outlet and Mont kiara outlet with the one on the first left from Niko Bangsar. I have personally requested or confronted this issue but there's always excuses saying that's how the drinks should be made according to measurement but clearly the difference speaks for itself.

Really like the vibes here! Their matcha is the best in town 😍 would definitely come back. I tried their famous Ajisai matcha, and it's taste so good. The ambience and all the staff here is super friendly and helpful. Btw, if you plan to work from their cafe, make sure to plug full your laptop battery as there's no electric socket on the seat table area. But it's perfect to hangout. They have several desserts as well.

It’s situated in the most busy shopping district Pavilion. The cafe entrance was not big and sitting area was okay. But you’ve got great view of the whole open street( a bit like the Time Square in NY). The rose latte was impressive and the breakfast menu is these reasonable listed. It was a bit pity they most items were in-available when I visit. The staff members were attentive.

Went here during RMCO period. Seating arrangement are as per advise by the government. All servers / waiters were wearing mask and quite attentive. Food was okay. The hainanese chicken rice was surprisingly good. Their bread was good as always. Coffee was okay. Price was advanced. all in all, i think people lepak here for the view.

Came here three times during my weekend stay in KL. Loved their pastries, bread selection and their handcrafted coffee. Presentation of dishes is very nice . The staff who served us food were all very attentive. However the lunch dishes didn’t arrive hot enough , I will certainly give the entrée one more try the next time I visit KL.

We were here few weeks after it's opening, this time around Loaf Cafe has revamped itself into a much better place. Crews are much better. I like most of the pastries, my favourite are the almond croissants and apple turnover. More people are frequenting this outlet now and the dine - in menu are not bad.

we had the almond caramel croissant and nutella croissant along with the cranberry cream cheese, the almond one was good but it wasnt mind blowing, the nutella however, the filling tasted like raw cake better in an eggy way. the cranberry cheese tasted very average. The service wasn’t systematic at all. We waited at the waiting place but a lot of people just walked in because there was no worker to attend to the customers at the entrance. Coffee came quiet late so our pastries were cold by then. The cappuccino was delicious but i wish the flat white latte had a little plate that came with it so it wont spill.The table service wasn’t that great, the waiters weren’t all that friendly as well as the service at the counter was extremely slow given that the line was quite long. Also what was really funny when the waitress came to give our drink she kinda threw the straw on the table instead of putting it nicely, gave us quite an impression.

I really loves donut and this cafe served so many flavour of donuts its feel like a heaven to me! Not dissapointed at all. Their dough are very soft. Perfect for any short dates or mini tea time.

Went there for breakfast as they have the best view in Bukit Bintang, which turn out to be a perfect choice. Their coffee is as good and definitely would not want to miss out on their bakeries. We had their famous Cranberry Cheese Oyaki and Chocolate Croissant, one can tell the richness of it's flavors and the textures is completely different to the other, which makes us guessing...the effort and the ingredients put into it. It is really good. The ambiance with a garden feel completes our pleasant experience. We are no stranger to this local brand, have been patronizing a couple of times before they renovated this place. Obviously a massive improvement now. We will be back for more. From Hong Kong.

Been there quite some times. Nice food and delicious. Usually I go for breakfast. This is the 1st time I came around 3pm. Easy to find parking. Parking fee RM 3. If I come in the morning it is usually hard to find parking.

Stayed right next door at the Agile Residence. Closes at 530pm. We had breakfast there on Sunday and packed the pastries back on Monday. Pastries were delightful. Sambal ikan bilis was a surprise winner for me. The others were awesome as well. We had the eggs bene with chicken patty. The chicken didn't feel like a frozen mass produced product. Spouse said it was abit spicy. Not bad. Full English breakfast was alright, the 2 chicken sausages gave minus points to the dish, felt like it was an inferior product with alot of filler. Summary: Great for pastries. A must visit place and I will be back again next time.

Levain is a cosy, French-inspired bakery and café housed in a charming old bungalow on Jalan Delima, Imbi. It’s beloved for its freshly baked breads, pastries, cakes, macarons, and artisanal offerings — the aroma of baking greets you as you walk in, and there’s a warm, relaxed feel. The décor (high ceilings, comfy seating upstairs, verandah/outdoor spots) gives it a nice ambience, good for solo coffee, brunch with friends, or just a pastry run.

This place, Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, is amazing! Just look at that croissant with scrambled eggs and the crispy hash brown – it looks absolutely delicious. And the vibe inside is so cozy and welcoming. I can totally see why it's got such a great rating; it's a perfect spot to just chill and enjoy some really good food.

Came back to this place after 5 years and the food is still amazing! The staff are super friendly. I even left my things behind by accident and they helped me find them and handed them back to me. Definitely coming back again!

Had our buka puasa last Wednesday at Nutmeg. Three of us were fasting, ordered 3 meals & 2 cakes. During eating we realised that 1 of the meal has stale potatoes. It’s hard for potatoes to be that smelly unless the food handling was really inproper. We were hungry & tried our best not to make a big deal but told the staff to tell the kitchen to be more careful not to serve the same stuff to other customers. We paid in full & the staff apologised. Ok cool. But guess what? My husband has been bedridden for food poisoning for two days now since his last meal from Nutmeg. Only he ate the salads + potatoes from those 3 meals. We had kids too & imagine if they ate the same thing? This is not OK. I am so pissed to spend such amount of money just to be poisoined & sick. You bukan kedai tepi jalan tau. To whom should I report this? Would you be responsible if anything happen to us?!

I absolutely love Nutmeg—it's one of my favorite spots to dine. One of the standout items for me is their flourless orange cake; it's rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced in flavor. In fact, everything I've tried from their menu has been consistently delicious, making it a place I return to often. The staff are always warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, which adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Another great feature is that they have a private area available, perfect for hosting a small gathering or celebration. Whether you're dropping in for a quiet meal or planning something more intimate with friends or family, Nutmeg truly delivers on both quality and comfort.

I was here one rainy evening for coffee time with a friend. We had one slice of cake, one brownie and latte. The slice of cake was huge! And topped with vanilla ice cream too. 🤭 It was the lemon meringue cake. So soft, fluffy, airy and just nice the taste. I'm in love! 😍 The brownie was good too. It was topped with something that looked like ice cream but tasted like a cheese cake. Lol. Latte was perfect as well. And the service in general was also good - friendly, helpful and fast. 😄 Overall, we had a good time here. Would I visit again? Yes, definitely! 😍

Let's start with the 2 things i like about the place. The venue is super convenient for anyone who wants breakfast in Bangsar without the spending 6 hours looking for carpark in Telawi. Service is also decent, with who I assume is the owner being here most days. But for the love of God, the food is bad. And I don't say this lightly. After trying out a total 9 items on 3 separate trips, I can say that out of the 9 items, 1 was good, 2 ok and 6 being barely edible. Like bro, look at the baked eggs. It's watery... More like steamed eggs. The scrambled eggs and omelete was also the worse I've had at this price point. I really wanted to like this place because the boss seems friendly and the location is convenient. But i think I'll probably not come back again.

My recent visit to Nutmeg Bangsar left me utterly bewildered by their waffles. The texture was shockingly dense and quite frankly, terrible. I've never encountered a waffle quite like it – and not in a good way. It was a far cry from the light and airy treat I was anticipating. Honestly, the only saving grace was the scoop of ice cream that accompanied it. Without that, the experience would have been completely inedible. To add to the disappointment, the presentation was lackluster. It certainly didn't make up for the poor quality of the waffle itself. I'm genuinely puzzled by the cafe's 4.1-star rating, especially after seeing other reviews echoing similar sentiments about the food quality on Google.

We recently had brunch at this restaurant in Bangsar Village 2 after not visiting since 2019, and we were glad to see that the food quality and portion sizes have remained consistent. We ordered three dishes: a big breakfast platter, an omelette with toast, and a loaded toast topped with salad and a sunny-side-up egg. The big breakfast came with scrambled eggs, sausage, sautéed mushrooms, roasted potatoes, toast, and beef bacon. Everything was cooked well—the eggs were soft and creamy, the sausage had a nice char, and the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The omelette was fluffy and filled with vegetables and bits of meat, paired nicely with toast and a side of fresh greens. The loaded toast was topped with a sunny-side-up egg and a generous portion of salad, making it a lighter but still satisfying option. Portions were generous, ingredients were fresh, and the overall balance of flavors was spot on. Nothing felt overly heavy or oily, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable meal. Service was fairly passive as the server didn’t make any recommendations or interact much, but he appeared at the right times to take our order and check in. It wasn’t particularly warm, but it was efficient and fuss-free. The atmosphere was clean, casual, and relaxed which is quite ideal for a slow brunch. If you’re at BV2 and looking for a decent spot for Western breakfast or brunch, this place is a solid and reliable option. We’d happily come back again.

There is good and bad. I appreciate that this is one of not many places who has ceiling sound treatment. So the noise is not so bad. But it is still loud and a windowless space with no natural light. The food was not bad simply put. But service quality was lacking. Food arrived not at the same time, staff just dropped the plates without words (after bringing the wrong food/drinks for a while), and overall it did not feel very welcoming professional. Overall a ok lunch, but manage expectations.

Brought aunty here for their breakfast, it’s easier to get parking on weekends. The foods were good, just that the rocket salad is very bitter, can’t take it. At the area where they have their pastry has a fly that came in, this is one of the problems most cafe or restaurant face.

Friendly service although my husband had nearly finished by the time my meal came up. Square breakfast and shakshuka were delicious but my egg was overdone. Lovely display of desserts which we took for later and were also delicious.

Huckleberry @Damansara Heights is a cozy cafe with a European rustic decor that exudes warmth. The cafe offers a delightful culinary experience, with an extensive menu that pleases every palate. The pastries are delicious, living up to their reputation. The food is generally good, with the soft shell crab creamy pasta being a standout. The service is attentive and professional, contributing to the inviting ambiance. The cafe also has a nice selection of teas/coffee. While some customers have noted that the pancakes can be a bit too sweet, and wait times can be long, especially on weekends, Huckleberry provides a satisfying experience overall. It's a great place for a casual meal or coffee break.

Huckle Bangsar is a good place for chills & cozy, The service was good from the waiter/cashier and all. They volunteer to take our family photo and always smile with a good mood. Always a good experience here. Even though it was busy, Both dishes prepared really well.

Great place to hang out with friends and family. Cozy, but it can get too loud and not really calm when there’s a full house of customers dining in. Plenty of food on the menu, and also lots of pastries to choose from. There are a few cake options as well. I ordered their Chef’s Choice sandwich — it was good! I also ordered the iced chocolate, but it wasn’t really to my taste because it didn’t have a rich chocolate flavor. However, their gula melaka kouign-amann… top notch! Ask for it to be heated — it’s damn good! 🤩👍🏼 didn’t manage to take photo of the kouign-amann tho 🤣 Planning to come back again to try other items on the menu! 😊

Nice cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. However come during the weekend, it is crowd with people. Plenty of cakes and pastries selection. Nice environment. Plain water is served upon seating.

Breakfast was good and enjoyed the (bit spicy but yummy) Turkish eggs - try it. The menu order is by QR code but the choices on the paper menu are not all reflected in app - choice of bread with the Tyrkish eggs, no easy over egg side order, .... Please update your app regularly to make life easier for your staff and kitchen.
