We stumbled upon Café del Pess while walking through Menaggio, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to slow down and soak in the charm of Lake Como. Sitting outside, right on the main square, you get the most gorgeous view — colorful buildings behind you, the lake in front of you, and mountains in the distance. It honestly feels like you’re inside a painting 🎨💙. The coffee was smooth and rich, the pastries were fresh and delicious (especially the jam-filled cookies and the slice of cake we tried), and the vibe was so relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you could sit for an hour without realizing it — just watching the quiet rhythm of the town and the glimmer of the lake. The service was friendly, and although it’s in a prime location, it didn’t feel overly touristy or rushed. If you’re in Menaggio, I definitely recommend stopping here — whether for breakfast, a sweet treat, or just to enjoy la dolce vita with a cappuccino in hand. ☀️🇮🇹

Finally a healthy salad after eating too much pizza and pasta in Italy! Delicious, nice service, lakeside atmosphere was gorgeous! Only downside for us was smokers on the outside dining, but that’s to be expected here in Italy I guess!

Came in for a quick breakfast. Cappuccino and croissants are pretty typical of Italy. Prices are affordable and views are stunning. Just note you cannot take away croissants, you have to sit in.

There is no other place where I can enjoy Menaggio as much as in the Cafè Del Pess. The view of the promenade, the lake, and the hustle and bustle of Piazza Garibaldi is wonderful. The food is surprisingly good (... for a café), the Aperol Spritz is tasty, and the prices are moderate for this location. If you're lucky, you'll meet Piero, the soul of the café, whose warm manner and humor we've enjoyed since our first visit to Menaggio 20 years ago. The service can seem a little cool and distant — what else would you expect with the masses of visitors from all over the world who regularly act like "God" just because they've ordered a cappuccino. And hey, remember, we're still in northernmost Italy! :) But try a smile and a sincere "Gracie," and you'll find that the ice shell melts very quickly. My rating: always worth a visit and a must for every visitor to Menaggio.

5 stars for a coffee with a brioche and 1 star for the service. The girl who work there as the waitress, I would advise them, if you hate people and any concerns about people's care, please withdraw from providing any services for people. Thank you!

We came here for a quick drink before heading back to the ferry and decided to have cakes as well. The torta de limon con crema was delicious. Overall a nice place to chill near the water.

I didn’t have food in this location so I can’t make any comments about that. But the drinks and over all they are good.

Fabulous ice cream and bakery selections. For ice cream, we tried pistachios, apricot, hazelnut. There is a little quiet yard on the back to sit down, as well as indoor seating options.

My absolute favorite place I visited in Italy. Such incredible huge choice of everything and all is FRESH! It’s very popular and busy too, so if you want to sit just find a table and staff will come to you with menu. But if you want something from counter (so many pastries..) better take a picture to show it to waitress 😌 The staff was very patient and friendly , if you can’t decide how you want your focaccia they can make 2 different halves, build your own. Have prosecco, hot chocolate, coffee, brioche anything.. big choice and everything tastes amazing. I ordered a lot so it was pricey - otherwise prices are very fair especially for town close to Como! Would love to come back.

My favorite way to start the day in the Cernobbio area. What an outstanding bakery with the local Lombardian special cookies and pastries and outstanding focaccia sandwiches. Indoor seating, a delightful outdoor garden where dogs are welcome and gelato too. The staff are accommodating and kind. Don’t miss this place and try the Venezia pastry for sure! I love the one with pistachio cream.

The best place to get breakfast! Heartier options like salmon egg toast and yogurt, as well as the BEST pistachio croissants. Cute courtyard and fast service!

They have one of the best croissants i have ever had, its soft and crunchy and full! They were very full in the Saturday morning but managed to serve everyone with a smile, very lovely place and delicious food

Accidentally found this gem when we couldn’t get seats on fast ferry so got slow one instead. Delicious pastries and coffee, nice outdoor section.

Not the best place for food in Bellagio if you fancy a focaccia/pizza/pasta. We had a toastie and a fresh orange juice and it came to 10 euros each which was more than I thought it would be for a small toastie and small glass of juice but it was still nice. It is an authentic Italian place that also sells ice cream that looked good, and also has a nice view from the outside seating area.

Unique and kind little place. It’s clear the staff who served us on each day of our holiday are wholesome and hard working. It’s clear the gentleman take the best care of the place, considering its size. We wish them every success in the future and a wonderful summer :).

Coffee tasted like death. Bathroom didn’t have a toilet seat or soap.

Definitely the best gelato we had in Bellagio. It's a no frills type of bar that focuses on good coffee and has authentic gelato( the pistachio is a muted green and not a green Oscar the grouch green)

Our happy place in Bellagio. Gelato is amazing and very fairly priced. Wonderful service and very helpful. Sit outside at a self serve table and look at the Piazza Della Chiesa (Church square). Beautiful fountain and view of a peaceful hillside garden. Hidden gem.

It's a nicly located place, but the biggest issue is general cleaness and service quality. Table cleaned when requested, toilet is a place to avoid. No food served, drinks only... 2 stars mainly for the location...

Dolciano is a delightful, small, and authentic Italian cafe that captures the essence of Italy. The coffee is absolutely fantastic, with a rich, bold flavor that will transport you straight to Rome. The pastries are equally impressive, and each one is a mouthwatering masterpiece. What truly sets Dolciano apart is the atmosphere. The lively Italian chatter acts as a backdrop of relaxing music, creating a warm and welcoming environment. It feels less like a cafe and more like a little slice of Italy where you can sit back, relax, and savor the moment.

We had several breakfast at this pasticceria during our stay in Como, and they were very good. The pastries were freshly made and delicious, the service was polite and quick. Highly recommend!

The café is absolutely wonderful! I truly enjoyed a delicious cup of cappuccino — the flavor was excellent. As for the pastries, they were incredibly fresh and baked right there on-site. Simply irresistible!

The pastries and coffee are delicious. The price is also super affordable. If you visit Como, I suggest you try their canolies.

We arrived just before they closed for break at 12:30 and the staff was so kind and friendly. We had the cornetto with Nutella and another one with raspberry and they were so buttery and delicious! Highly recommend.

After exploring Bellagio, we wanted some drinks and snacks. The restaurant we’d stopped at recommended this cafe because unfortunately restaurants here are strictly for dining and you can’t order just drinks. The cafe has a scenic view and really a nice place to have a break.

A smaller café in Bellagio at the lake Cuomo. The shakerato was average, the cappuccino quite delicious. Service was average, the atmosphere okay.

A notable breakfast place in Lake Como. Plenty of seats outside so you can have coffee with a nice view! Ours had cars blocking it so that’s a minus-1 haha. But cornetto and coffee were good, pancakes- nothing special😊 Overall a great place to start before a whole day of getting around Como.

The place is nice but the waiters are very rude and not helpful at all. The chocolate croissant was a fraud and they were not ready to listen to our opinion. I do not recommend coming here.

Sanremo Bar in Bellagio is a budget-friendly spot with a nice bonus — complimentary snacks with your drinks, which is always appreciated. The prices are very reasonable, especially given the touristy location. However, the service could use some improvement. It wasn’t particularly warm, and there were moments where quicker attention would have made the experience more enjoyable. Still, it’s a decent place to sit back and enjoy a casual drink by the lake.

Stopped by Bar Sanremo for an evening drink, and it was a memorable quick visit. The wine selection was solid, with a nice range to choose from, perfect for a casual sip. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a warm touch despite the bustling vibe. Speaking of lively, an unexpected guest—a duck—made a surprise appearance, which added a quirky charm to the evening! The bar sees a lot of foot traffic, giving it a vibrant Bellagio energy, though it can feel a bit crowded. Great spot for a drink and a fun story, but not the place for a quiet night.

We came across this place while waiting for our ferry, looking for a cool and relaxing spot. The Gin Fizz was well made. Drinks are served with some complimentary snacks, though they were a bit stale. Service was also very good. With its green-covered awning and sea view, it’s a very nice place to take a break and relax.

Perfect for a convenient, budget, and transit lunch. Only come here for a quick meal, its better to eat elsewhere for sit-down italian dinner. The food takes around 15-20 minutes to prepare. The servers can be a bit slow, like many of the comments, are territorial about who they serve which can take time. Our server was excellent but others seemed unresponsive and uncoordinated on customer request. Altogether, perfect for a functional meal to get you full. It is open at all convenient times including the late afternoon. Stunning location but right by the passenger docks for the boat crew.

While passing by, we noticed a free table closest to the waterfront and immediately snagged it. Their outdoor patio is shaded by trees, and a great spot for watching the ferries go by. It's also where people catch their private water taxis. We ordered the Coppa Sanremo, vanilla and strawberry ice cream with fresh fruit and whipped cream, and the Coppa Mangia e Bevi, vanilla and hazelnut ice cream with fresh fruit, chestnuts, raisins, and whipped cream. Prices were quite high, though that's to be expected with a lake side view. Coppa Sanremo was the better of the two! While I like chestnuts and raisins separately, I was not a fan of the combo. Service was on the slower side, but that was okay with us because we were mostly just interested in enjoying the lakeside view. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, it was very crowded, so people were constantly blocking our view of the lake as they were ushered to their water taxis or sat down on the large white storage container that was directly in front of us.

Extremely rude – avoid this place! This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had in Italy. We ordered drinks and sat down at a free table to wait – completely normal behavior. But instead of politely telling us we couldn’t sit there (if that was the case), the staff – especially one particular waiter – came over and very aggressively told us to get up. No explanation, no manners, just rude and humiliating behavior in front of other guests. We felt extremely unwelcome and left immediately. Hospitality clearly has no place here. It is beautiful to seat there and see your starting point from the other side of the lake como. Bellagio is beautiful and I want to visit again. I saw baby swans for the first time ever in Bellagio

We had a great lunch. Gnocchi pesto and lasagna. The homemade gnocchi was excellent and the lasagna was great as well. If you’re in Montessori you have to eat here.

Great dinning experience. The food was excellent. From the appetizers to the dessert. The dishes we ordered were fantastic. Lasagna, pork shank, pork scallops. Just wonderful. Then the chocolate gelato. Perfect finish to an excellent meal. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere is charming and inviting. Highly recommended.

They had a very kind and welcoming staff. We came in with about an hour until close, so they didn’t have their full menu, but the cannelloni definitely hit the spot. One of the few places that we found in Moltrasio that has larger portions. Great convenient location as well.

We had lunch today after a very long flight from the US to Milan. We ordered risotto (it was tasty) along with a margarita pizza (not the best) and a panini. But the view of Lake Como was spectacular. It was a nice restaurant.

The place has a fantastic view and is nice and comfy. The service is very neutral; it's not bad, but not great. Then there was the Aperol. The glass was half full (you can see in the picture that this is how it was brought) with 3 ice cubes. Food is just average quality at best. So overall, have a nice view and don't order too many things to lower the damage…

Perfectly situated on the water with a magnificent view. Had breakfast: croissant & cappuccino after and unfortunate evening. Found the waitresses to be pleasant and attentive. The pistachio croissant was so pillowy and flavorful. The best I have found yet in the lake Como region. The cappuccino also made perfectly.

We had breakfast at Caffè Centrale in Menaggio and it was amazing! 🍊🥪 We had two fresh orange juices, a panino cotto e mozzarella, and a toast cotto e formaggio — everything was super yummy, fresh, and refreshing. Perfect boost to start the day! The lakefront location and peaceful ambiance make it a wonderful spot to enjoy breakfast.

Beautiful view. Unfortunately the view is not what you eat. Food was awful (two pasta carbonara too cooked, one with too much sauce, the other one without), and the Margerita pizza was a frozen pizza!

OK, you're sitting outside, gazing over the lake. It's a great spot. Food was average at best, service was fine, bathroom line a bit long but if you've got the time and it's not too crowded, a nice spot to eat and drink.

Our experience here was very disappointing. The table was wiped with a dirty cloth, so it stayed filthy. The waitress clearly had no interest in helping us it felt like we were just numbers to her. Our cutlery still had food on it from previous use, which was unacceptable. I ordered the pesto pasta, which was okay, but when we asked for a special iced coffee, we received something completely different without any explanation. Overall, poor hygiene, careless service, and no sense of hospitality. Would not recommend.

Very quick and friendly service. Had lower expectations for dinner service in the touristy section of Bellagio based on the limited options and Google reviews. Pleasantly surprised by Vecchio Borgo. Not too crowded and the pizza was more flavorful than any I can get back in Florida (which is expected).

Excellent experience at Vecchia Borgo We tried both prosciutto pizzas from the menu and they were truly delicious — thin crust, fresh ingredients, and that authentic flavor that makes every bite worth it. The Aperol Spritz was perfectly balanced and refreshing. Sure, there are places with fancier lake views, but this spot is right on one of Bellagio’s main streets, where you can sit back, relax, and watch people go by. This is where you come to enjoy real Italian pizza and expresso — if you’re here to eat, eat well… save the view for the photo. 🍕😉

Stunning little spot, perfect for food and drinks, the staff were very attentive and friendly especially Thiago what a lovely gentleman. Would recommend tomato and mozzarella and starter and then the lasagne and ravioli. Coffee is the best end to the most perfect experience

It was my first meal in Italy, and I regretted eating at this place so much. The pizza was terrible, I felt so disappointed. The service was very kind, they even helped me charge my phone. There’s only one bathroom, and they charge a €2 coperto. Don’t eat pizza here.

What do you do when its not lunch yet in Italy and you're hungry? Run to Bar Vecchio Borgo for delicious and quickly served cuisine! Staff were kind and attentive; food arrived quickly and piping hot. Their lasagna was the BEST of my entire week. The Negronis were perfectly made. Cost didnt break the bank.

This was Bellagio sandwich . 10/10. Next time, Im in Bellagio, I’ll have this again. P.s unlike other restaurants in Bellagio, they do not have weird rules around seating, orders etc. You’ll know this when you dine out somewhere else. Deducting a point from the atmosphere as it gets pretty hot in summers 😅

I am gutted that I didn’t check the reviews before going into this place that we picked randomly It rarely happens that I would score a restaurant below 4 and 5 and but it all honesty the food was below average - lasagna was overcooked. If I was not hungry, I would simply just refuse this dish after one bite. People around us smoked a lot of cigarettes which spoilt the experience. The only positive side of this place was the staff - they were really friendly and nice. Personally I would not recommend or visit this place again

I should have seen the reviews before I go. There are many restaurants around. I ordered a salad and my husband a pasta. Pasta was small, not enough to satisfy him. My salad was like 1 minute made salad (somebody opened a package of leaves in a dish and another package of smoked salmon on the top. And the price was similar to the others in the area.

The worst food I had on this trip. The service was ok, nothing impressive about it, they did their job, but were not very customer oriented. Paid 14 eur for that very very bad lasagna. Would not recommend.

DON'T GO! We ordered bruschetta as a starter, but it was really bad and not prepared in the Italian way. Thank goodness we didn't order a main course. The service was terrible! No hospitality, and then they charge €2.50 per person for service, come on! 🥲 We spent €26 for a disgusting bruschetta, beer, and wine. Such a waste.

This place is ridiculously bad, the food is the worst I've had in a long time. The pizza was just horrible. Canned mushrooms, thick prosciutto cubes, the dough just horrible. No love went into this at all and no skill whatsoever. If you make a simple pizza at home it will be much better, even frozen pizza from the supermarket is miles ahead of this. Pasta also not well made, small portion size, the parmesan you get in a small plastic bag. Owner doesn't seem to care about the food he serves. Service staff was friendly though.

Terrible food and the tables inside are cramped. There wasn’t enough space for a pizza and salad. Pizza was terrible and the salad not much better. Skip this place!

Frozen eggplant parmesan, stale bread, tiny portions and minced meat with hard pieces that couldn’t be chewed. We made the mistake of not reading the reviews first — and we paid the price. With so many bad reviews, instead of improving, the owner responds aggressively. Never again!

Nice place to sit, very cute. The thing is it's soooo expensive for what it is. There are no prices of the items in the display so the lady at the counter sums it up in her head and tells you the number. I asked for a receipt and I just got a varied item with the final price. I felt scammed all the time I was there. The food was fine, the coffee also okay. Shame because the place is cute and convenient.

The food was delicious, but what lowered my rating of the place was the customer service. The waitress was rude from the start. I don't pay to be mistreated or treated like a dog, as she treated us. I come from a family with values; I always treat people with respect, especially as someone who works in the same field in her home country. I can understand the stress of a place where it's a tourist attraction, but that's no justification for such treatment. The young woman should learn to manage her emotions or, if she doesn't like her job, change fields. In my case, I'm not one to cause conflict or complain, but it warrants it when the treatment isn't fair. Clearly, I won't return on future trips. Keep this in mind because if it's a place where customers always return to the city, it will end up being one to avoid.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! I’d have given it 0 stars if I could. This is the worst cafe we’ve been to in our 20 days in Italy. We ordered a breakfast set and everything was burned!! Their other dishes were either uncooked, burned or not well-seasoned. The service also wasn’t good. The waitress was grumpy and asked for us to pay even when we hadn’t finished. (And there were no people waiting.) The quality of the food here is really bad. And it’s way too expensive for the price. The atmosphere & location are OK, but everything apart from that is horrible. The restroom here was also broken (as of April 25th 2024.) You need to go to the station to use the restroom.

Dear Owner I find it unreasonable for a tourist-area business near the train station to require a minimum 10-euro order and to accept card payments only, excluding cash. This is inconvenient for travelers who may need a small purchase like water. Please consider: - Accepting cash in addition to cards - Removing or lowering the minimum order, especially for essential items like water Thank you

If I could give zero stars, I would. First of all, if you dare to speak English, the price magically doubles. apparently, I’m paying for the privilege of being treated like garbage. I ordered an Americano, but what I got was basically a cup of lukewarm toilet water boiled to a mighty 50°C. Honestly, I’ve had hospital pills with more flavor. And no, they don’t give you a receipt. The waiter serves you with t complete disgust Terrible service, awful drinks, the prices for cookies muffins and other desserts are not even written. (Again, so they can charge based on foreigner)

A complete SCAM! We were told that the hot chocolate was €5 for takeaway, but we were charged €6. When we pointed it out, the staff refused to refund us. After checking the menu, the takeaway hot chocolate is actually €4.50! Totally unacceptable to deceive customers like this. I strongly advise against going there — dishonest and disrespectful service.

This place had bad service and boring food. We were hungry after the rain ride and wanted a quick meal. But the waitress was so rude it felt lid she wanted to kick us out of there fast. We had a foccacio sandwich and hamburger and the flavor was sad and lacking, but also expensive so making it feel worse. There are nicer places to eat ahead, save yourself the heartbreak and don't go here.

We stayed for a couple of hours for a meal here. The food was gorgeous and the views were spectacular. Such an amazing place.

The perfect stop in Torno in Lake como. A lovely restaurant and cafe with an awesome service. Pizza is an italian yummy authentic pizza. Had a panini Mozerlla and Anchovies that was a perfect snack. And ended with a lovely kick from an Espersso cup. The view is more than amazing 👏🏻 🤩

We ate here for dinner two nights out of four during our stay in Torno. We had the mushroom risotto, the ham and artichoke pizza, the wurst sausage with mustard, and the eggplant parmigiana. Everything was tasty and the service was excellent. They have a fun playlist of Motown music, which we enjoyed. We sat inside since the patio seating held a lot of smokers.

We ate dinner at B&B Bar Italia multiple times during our stay in Torno but did not stay at the B&B (hotel) so I cannot speak to the rooms. However, the restaurant on the first floor was lovely and very affordable! THE FOOD: we had an entire 3 course meal including a bottle of wine, appetizers, entrees and dessert for about 50 euros. The house wine was super affordable and actually great and I’m pretty picky about wine. Like many little Italian cafes, you get free appetizers or “bar snacks” with your cocktails and this restaurant gave us potato chips and bread with toppings. The food was good quality for the price and there were lots of options on the menu including salads, pasta entrees (spaghetti, lasagna etc) and pizza entree. For dessert the restaurant had of different ice cream Sunday options and a daily tart. THE VIBES: this is a super casual little restaurant with a couple tables inside but the real appeal here is the outdoor patio, which has an amazing view of the lake. They have about 6 tables outside and they do take reservations and on the weekend in August they were pretty booked up, it was hard to get a table! I noticed tons of Italian locals gathering with friends here, so can assume this is a spot the locals enjoy. I also noticed British, French, German & American tourists including several couples on dinner dates and families with children. People chatted loudly and it was great people watching which we enjoyed. THE SERVICE: the waitresses were friendly young ladies who spoke English to us, and the manager was extremely helpful in making space for us. I was happy to bring my business back repeatedly.

A group of us did a food tour in downtown Como. The guide took us by this place to finish out our tour with a cup of coffee of our choice (expresso, cappuccino, ice coffee). The staff at Maya's took really good care of us. We had a mixture of orders that the Barista's did a fantastic job taking the orders and preparing them for our group of 10. This place is located where you can sit outside, inside, and they have clean restrooms. I hope you have a chance to stop by and that your experience is as good as mine or better. We came from Verona and we were a little hungry after 2-3 hours train ride. As we were walking we decided to have late lunch in this restaurant. I ordered the special of the day. Not joking when I say this is the BEST coffee in the world As an avid coffee drinker, I go everyday drinking more than one cup of coffee. As a traveller, I've tried coffee from many different places, however non as good as this one. Other than a convenient and great location, the bar is also very friendly, hosting a great atmosphere. On my last visit to Como, I bought 3 large bags of coffee which have lasted me a year, at a decent price too. This is one of the great perks about this bar, not only can you enjoy your coffee inside the bar, but you can also choose to fill bags to bring with you, with a selection of many blends. All in all, highly recommend Maya Coffee, if like me, you enjoy coffee or just simply enjoy travel and hope to enhance your stay in the area.

Stylish café with very good food and prices. We had a pinsa, sandwich salami and tagliata with rucola and grana padano (was super good and only 17 euros!) At the end we had a nice tiramisu and coffee. Service was very good and polite. Highly recommended, I would definitely go again!

I ordered a club sandwich, which was so good I didn't do the picture before eating it haha. The personal is also very lovely. They speak also English and even German! I also liked that the COPERTO is written transparently on the menu carte: 2 Euro pp. The minus are the prices. They are little too hight for Italy. I came out form Switzerland to pay same prices...

Nice bar/gelateria on the lake, just by the boat departures. Love sitting here in summer for an aperitivo, they give you lots of snacks with it. The paninis are amazing as well as the gelato cups. Could do with more love in the service, as it attracts many people even during winter time.

Very cute local bar. Went there for breakfast for two mornings. Waffles/pancakes are only 5€ and there are a few topping options. Also they have a lot pf drinks to choose from. The view is also very nice.

Nice view, but poor service. Been waiting here for 50 minutes with no service, even though waitresses are everywhere. I could have opened my own bottle of wine and they wouldn’t have noticed. Update: after speaking to the bartender inside, this waitress who previously ignored us the entire time finally came to take our order, but she didn’t set our table like she did for others.

Recommended to us by the windsurfing centre down the road, this cafe is a real gem. Dropped in after kayaking on the lake and enjoyed a REALLY tasty pasta with a stunning lake front view. Only 15 minutes on the train from Varenna and much more peaceful than the busy tourist hotspots.

Very nice terrace next to lake Como. We initially came here for some breakfast (pancakes), and returned in the afternoon for a very good Negroni and some complementary snacks.

The food is okay, it tastes good, but it's not going to impress anyone. I've eaten much better, but the prices are fair. You can sit very nicely outside by the water. The waiters were friendly.

We stopped by for dinner in the evening, but it was disappointing. The huge menu was already a red flag — and rightly so. The pizza clearly tasted frozen: the crust wasn’t soft, and the toppings kept falling off. While we were aware of the “coperto” charge, it felt unjustified given the quality of the food. Service was mediocre — though to be fair, that seems to be a thing in Italy. We haven’t had great service anywhere so far, whether in Verona or Venice. The atmosphere was pleasant and the drinks were good — but that’s about it.

First time we ordered an Aperol Sour, we got big glasses. On the second day, we only got very small ones — for the same price. We asked why. The waiter didn’t know, said he would check, then left and never came back. Very disappointing!

We came in quite late for dinner around 10:00 PM, but the staff still welcomed us and served us well. Even though they seemed a bit tired after a long day, they remained polite and attentive throughout. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Overall, a great experience despite the late hour. Definitely appreciated their hospitality!

Food is a solid ok. You won’t be disappointed but you won’t be wowed. The highlight is the location. We had pizza, pasta, charcuterie, bruschetta and gelato for dessert. My daughter recommends the green apple gelato. My son recommends the cold meat and cheese platters.

I have absolutely no idea where the good reviews come from. To be fair - the place is perfectly adequate for having a drink and enjoying the view. When it comes to food, on the other hand, it is almost ridiculous to serve such quality in Italy. Rarely have I had such bad food in a restaurant. More like a cheap snack bar. So in a nutshell - a good place just to have a drink - better to eat somewhere else.

I absolutely love this place. A cosy corner on the main square. Excellent cocktails and incredible burgers. Staff are wonderful. Children are made very welcome. There are tapas style boards served with a round of drinks. Superb 10/10.

What a beautiful view and location for drinks, coffee and light snacks from pastries to gelato. I have been traveling Italy and first time I have found an Iced Latte (Cappuccino Freddo) on the menu. The servers spoke good English and were helpful too. Would recommend for tourists in Argegno and Lake Como to stop here!

This place is an amazing spot! They have beanbags out the back on steps down into the lake which is such a great spot to relax with a drink. The cocktails are really nice and reasonably priced too. I recommend the Tequila Sunrise! Also had some bruschetta here which was really tasty - That’s Amore The staff are also really nice. Especially the guy with the white cap - he’s really nice! Unfortunately, we had a bad experience in this cafe. The cake was not fresh and we found hair in the toast. Although the cafe was almost empty, we were waiting for long until they "cook" the toast. The prices are super high, we paid 12€ for 2 coffee and a bad cake..not recommended.

This very casual lakeside eatery has numerous outdoor tables. The busy lake-front highway borders the property the service people run back and forth to fetch food and drink. They are adept! We had fortifying and comforting lasagna and beer after a long morning walk.

Such a cute find, right by the lake, really friendly staff. Food was super nice and the views outside are lovely. First time we went there our waiter turned on all the fairy lights so my friend could take pictures of the lake it was really special. We came here a couple times on our holiday, really recommend.

A little frustrated that I wasn't allowed to use the wifi. The signal was there and clearly identified but I was told there is no wifi. Had to work using a mobile hotpot with slow data instead.

so good and authentic pizza/sandwhich/food! we came here for lunch during our times at lake como and i gotta say it did not disappoint. The pizzas were sooo good and a decent prize for a really good portion! Service was nice and they even have a bathroom to use if u need. (Just outdoor tables may have ants and bees flying around sometimes on tables but like one or two…) Wish I tried their tiramisu but i was so full from the pizzas lol but i would come back next time and recommend for anyone coming into lake como! (but tables are limited and it may take a while to get one depending on how many ppl are there)

A lovely pizza restaurant located in the heart of Varenna, on Piazza San Giorgio Square by Lake Como. Their pizzas are truly delicious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They offer a nice selection of pizzas and salads — I really enjoyed my visit.

Very busy area — it's hard to find a place where you can sit down to eat, but we managed to get a table at this restaurant. We ordered a pizza, and even though they brought the wrong one, we ate it anyway — and it turned out to be the best pizza dough we had during our holiday in Italy!

Yes. It is a busy place and yes you maybe need to wait to get a table but it is worth it. The staff is very service oriented, friendly and helpful. We ate pizza here and it was very very delicious. (⭐️ - they can also provide you a charging cable if you need one )

The appeal of this spot is the tables right on the lake with beautiful views took soak up the sun. Take a seat and a server will come to you for your order. Sandwiches were very average, but again, this place is about the atmosphere. They serve coffee and alcohol as well.

We had Roman pizza with mixed salad, and a tuna salad, everything was freshly prepared and tasty. Service in English was friendly and helpful. Restaurant is across the road from the lake so you can watch the world go bye with a nice backdrop.

The saffron risotto was awful. It tasted like it was made with stagnant water! Truly awful. We both left it, mostly untouched. We still had to pay. The pizza was ok and sandwiches in fairness but the risotto, truly hideous.

We are vegetarians, We had a great fresh salad that is hard to find in the area. The Panini bread was fresh, crispi and tasty. The cappuccino was amazing. They also have soy milk option. Very good price.

We stayed in an AirBnB near Glam’s and were so happy it was so near to us. We ended up popping over every day of our trip to grab a quick cappuccino and croissants (the pistachio ones are good!) and sandwiches. Service is so fast and friendly which made it an easy way to start our days. We also stopped by late night for dessert and drinks and it was still great service even then! I recommend for a quick and easy breakfast.

Great place for breakfast and coffee! The coffee was out of this world good! Had iced coffee and my husband got a latte...we didn't want sweet American drinks, so it was perfect! The eggs and bacon were wonderful, as well. I had the avocado toast with cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, of course. Everything about it, each simple component was amazing, but altogether they were fabulous. We also got a croissant, which was a lot like if brioche and the French croissant had a baby. So delicious! If you can keep the sparrows at bay, this may be your favorite meal in Varenna. Oh!!! And the view! Right on the lake!

Averagely ok food, not memorable. 9euros for pizza and 9 euros for the carbonara. Free wifi does not work outside the store when I went. Seems like a tourist trap coz of the views. But yea, good views! Lots of bees when we went in July, was not fun to sit outside. Service was slow, there were people waiting 20mins…I wouldn’t queue for this place.

So much more than an espresso bar. The pasta, bruschetta, and lasagna were ON POINT. Virgin mojito was great. I think €10 is a bit much for an aperol spritz but this place still gets 5 stars for how unassuming yet great it is.

We thought we had seats at cafe Varenna the noticed there were two restaurants and we were sat in tutti frutti. We choose to have drinks and they came with loads of nibbles so decided to eat there too. The food was lovely and the service was great. It worked out cheaper than we expected too. Sisters was by far the best dining experience I had in Italy so far. The Gnocchi is to die. And out of the 8 places I tried on this trip, they have the best aperol spritz. I once had a coffee with Nutella and it tasted to good... The atmosphere is also good, very friendly. I came here once on Saturday and there were more people at the cafe, especially locals who my group interacted with, they were all very nice and welcoming and even told us a little bit about Lierna and good places to visit in Italy!

Sisters Cafe was a delight to visit for our stay in Varenna. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, the best foccacia we ate across our whole trip. The kids enjoyed the pancakes. The coffee was lovely. I would highly recommend a visit to this cafe.

We found this gem when we accidentally ended up in Lierna when we took the wrong train. We had about 2 hours until the ferry came so we decided to stay and eat brunch. The focaccia pizza was incredible. The owner also recommended the croissant with a cream filling that her brother came up with. Everything was delicious and well executed. This cute little café was charming and has a very homey-local feel. Please come by if you ever find yourself in Lierna!

Charming terrace with a thoughtfully designed ambiance, perfect for a sunny day in Como. The coffee and matcha cappuccino were delicious, accompanied by generously sized pastries. The service was both kind and professional, making for a truly enjoyable experience. *They charge 0,5€ for a glass of tap water.

One of the few places that we found that do a variety of iced drinks. There was some confusion as to seating but, you basically order at the counter for a takeaway or sit down and order via the staff. I do recommend getting the afforgato.

To avoid, such a nightmare! we spend 36€ for 2 dishes, they didn’t even put efforts to serve the dish, the omelette was just served with a bread and few salade, the salty croissant with saumon was just a dish where they put a croissant, some slices of saumon and salade altogether which costs 18€. You can easily find something else better around the corner.

I tried their breakfast for two times, the coffee was great, yogurt was also good with fresh fruits. It was a great experience and delicious food to have in Como. The location is very nice too which makes everything even better.

The cafe is located in one of the many charming spots in the historic town, with great service and the best Tiramisu. I always have an excuse to be there, at any time of the year.

The food was delicious! We took the pasta ragu, swordfish carpaccio and for the dessert the brownie and the apple tart accompanied by a scoop of ice cream. Everything was amazing! Also the view from the terrace is stunning. Thank you to the restaurant and the chefs. Hope the next visitors will enjoy as much as we did! 🥰

We stopped by for lunch. They were busy and told us it might take a while for food, but we were ok with waiting. There’s no menu! The waiter tells you what options you have for drinks, and sandwiches, and the relative costs (dependent on the type of meat you get). So listen very carefully when he’s listing things. We got some sandwiches and a fresh squeezed orange juice. The juice was very fresh indeed and the sandwiches were delicious. I would suggest asking for the prices of everything since I wasn’t completely sure what everything cost when I paid the bill. They also serve gelato here, but we didn’t get any. Overall a good stop for lunch.

Gorgeous spot in Cadenabbia close to the ferry terminal. Authentic gelato in the covered metal cylinders too 🍨 Lovely staff who were very attentive. Came back the next day for takeaway coffee too.

Live from the coffee shop on Christmas Day where people should be kind and friendly. I am here with my 5 months old puppy in the cold and a paying customer (9 euros for 2 pretty average hot chocolates…), where I asked for some tap water for my dog and the owners refused to give her any. The response was not today, to which I responded, it’s takes that much effort to provide some water? The response was “yes”. Talk about lack of kindness and humanity, welcome to bar san fedele. Wish I could take my money back and walk away

We were meaning to sit to the restaurant next door and we got confused and sat at this place instead. Food was just horrible. I got what they call the club sandwich and the chicken felt all dry and old. My friend had a risotto that was bland. Service was the worst we’ve had in Italy!

I visited this place two days in a row. The first time I was with my Italian friend who ordered for us, and the price seemed fair. The next day I came alone and ordered the exact same thing in English — I was charged twice as much. No receipt was given either. Obvious TOURIST SCAM. Avoid this place.

They’re betraying their customers. My bill was higher than expected, so I asked what exactly I was paying for. He counted two cappuccinos, but I only ordered one, and I wanted to pay for only one. He got really angry and said that there are so many customers and no one has complained before… I guess they are doing it regularly, counting more drinks than the customers are ordering…

The sandwiches were very poor quality with the fillings really meagre, and the bread and panini's were dry ...the outside service was really bad. The views however, we're lovely.

I dont know about the Drinks, but worst panini and Toast we ever had. They didnt even bother to toast or heat it, let alone put a relevant amount of the stuff promised or butter on it.

This place is disgustingly expensive. 8 euros for a pint of beer without even getting some chips (as is normal in Italy). Service is ok.

Horrible food, broken toilet, not exactly nice staff, too expensive considering all these factors, had to wait quiet long even though there weren't many people.

Rude guy serving us acted like he owns the world with attitude I have not seen around lake Como where they want to serve and be nice to their customers. Pretty place but because of this one particular server we left before ordering.

To my fellow Americans- beware. The people in this small village all know each other and do not seem to appreciate Americans being around. My family and I were glared at, and ignored on 2 separate occasions trying to get some food to eat. Both times we were told “no food” only to then watch as Italians were served food right in front of us with smiles. My family and I did not feel safe in this area since it seemed like it was occupied by some religious cult. The only other place to get food nearby requires a reservation and is only open on very limited hours. My advice to you my American friends is to stay in downtown Bellagio and avoid this area altogether. I only hope that someday I can return the favor to these people.

We stopped in the area to walk around. We had the special of the day which was a sausage and sauerkraut sandwich. It had dijon mustard and the bread was amazing. I had a cappuccino and a croissant. The croissant was superb and so was the sandwich. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. Nestled in the narrow streets, it was very charming and full of ambiance.

The food was great and affordable vs other establishments in the area. Charming little place to stop for a coffee and sandwich.

Lovely little bar, quite out of the way and just up a back street but would definitely recommend a visit. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine and they also passed through a small tray of pizza and garlic bites.

We had apérol and campari spritz, charcuterie board, couple glasses of wine and a bottle to go. It’s a cute place with good service, and tables in the street are charming. My only complaint is all the tables are for smokers and there were a few who were constantly smoking, though I understand this is the standard in Italy…

Very nice 'food truck' type of lunch option, reasonably priced and the best service received in Italy with a smile and kindness. You have nice benches across the street to enjoy your snacks with a nice view.

Very friendly owner and the food was great. We ordered a panini and hotdog, the owner suggested a drink as there was a special with the hotdog. Food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. The takeaway lunch pack looked like a great option and would be perfect for a picnic or boat excursion. The prices were very reasonable.

My teenage children both ate cheese/ham panini from this stall on 18 and 19 July 2022. Both ended up with severe food poisoning, most likely from the ham. Such a shame as the food selection and smoothies were lovely. I suspect the ham was not handled correctly (no gloves used), no visible hygiene measures (hand washing), and the ham not stored in the fridge. I’m hoping the owner will check this review and correct their practice.

The location is close to the water, but there are cars passing by. Service was quick. The food was ok a little bit on the salty side. If you are looking for a quick diner and not quality food this is a good place to eat.

Spilled the whole jar of wine over the table. And had not change the table cloth!!! Lasagna is just terrible! The pizza was just from refregirator! Avoid this.

We discovered this cafe next door to the Airbnb apartment we were staying in. We had breakfast every morning it was open. Fulvia and the team were brilliant and provided excellent friendly service. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had. We had fresh orange juice every morning with our coffee and breakfast. Food was delicious and they had a great selection of pastries. We loved sitting outside in the fresh morning air, soaking up the normal work day around us. Would definitely visit this cafe in a heartbeat. Tucked away in a quiet corner, this cafe is an incredible find! Fresh, delicious, hot, perfect croissants served with kindness! I recommend the crossiant with apricot jam. It was open early at 7:30AM so I came to have a quiet, slow breakfast before getting on a boat ride. It’s very close to the town center!

We had a great breakfast early in the morning at 8am. We sat outside and loved the atmosphere—inside looked super cute too. The croissants were delicious and so fresh; they had an interesting orange flavor. The coffee was on point. Unfortunately, the kitchen for brunch dishes wasn’t open yet (it opens at 9), but I definitely recommend this place and will go back to try the dishes as well.

A small unassuming cafe tuck away from the plaza Duomo, a hidden gem for its aromatic coffee and delicious bread and morning breakfast. Highly recommend to visit this cafe if you prefer a quiet corner with great coffee. We ordered the toast ham& cheese sandwich, the scrambled eggs and croissants which were all promptly served within minutes. I would certainly recommend the ham & cheese toast which was filling and delicious. The 2 staff on site converse well in English and were friendly and accommodating. It's only 3 minute walk away from the ticket office for the ferry ride from como to bellagio. Go enjoy your italian coffee.

I had a lovely outdoor breakfast, which is always a big favorite of mine. Unfortunately there was some road work ongoing few meters away but even with that the area was relatively quiet. The waitress (probably the owner?) was super gentle. Their selection of pastries is not huge but very inviting. If you like cornetto though, there are a half dozen types to satisfy any palate.

This was my favorite breakfast place when visiting Como. Highly recommend!

We had great service. Sat outside with a view and enjoyed a cappuccino and a croissant. Those by the way, were phenomenal. My mother got something different than my wife and I. It was a toasted sandwich thing that left much to be desired.

This place shows zero interest in their customers. We tried to order at the counter, but were told to take seats and wait to be served. No one came in more than ten minutes (despite the place being far from busy), so we left.

The brioche was really bad. They put it in the microwave and as you would’ve guessed it was super dry and chewy. We had a chocolate salami as well but they warmed it up too. Couldn’t eat it. Very strange.

We came here for breakfast each morning. The croissants are delicious with different varieties (pistachio, chocolate, cream, etc) and the lady was so lovely and nice!

Good service, for non-Italian speakers - they speak English. The prices are very attractive and the portions are decent. The bar itself is small, but there are seats on the opposite side of the road. There is free parking behind. Highly recommend.

we ordered way too much food! the tartare and burger were fantastic. we ended up ordering way more food than we thought so next time i think we’d skip the caesar salad, as it was not our favourite with the mustard and i made the mistake of thinking it’d be a lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and anchovy dressing. everything else was delicious though- and the servers were great even though it was raining. we also had the tiramisu which was delicious!

I found II Bareto here on Google and due to its good reviews, we decided to go. It was absolutely delicious 😋 Definitely worth the stop and the walk up the hill. The village itself it's very pretty but the bar ,I reckon was the best by far!!! The freshness of the products used on the pizzas were very tasty. I loved the salmon pinsa. After more than a week travelling around Italy, it was our best experience dinning out😉 100% recommended!

I truly enjoyed my breakfast at this charming spot. The ham focaccia exceeded my expectations with its flavor and quality, while the coffee and pistachio croissant were simply outstanding. This is where we used our breakfast vouchers from nearby Fio&Gio. After we got our complementary Cappuccino and pistachio cornetti-one of us chose muesli, we went back to our accommodation and sat on the roof terrace; although, Al Barilott is located in a small piazza where you sit at an outside table and enjoy views of a nearby church and clock tower, as well as Lake Como and the mountains surrounding the lake. The ladies running the place were so gracious and helpful, and they also had a delicious looking homemade jam filled cake. If we had stayed longer than one night, I could see returning here another day.

We will be returning. My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this little cafe restaurant shop today. We had toasted sandwiches, beer and cappuccino. The waitresses/staff were super funny, great service. They sell beer/wine/snacks/cigs/ and even have some slot machines along with lotto tickets. This place feels authentic, not a touristy place. I had the aged beef sandwich with mushrooms and cheese, and my wife had the parma ham, cheese and mushrooms. The bread was crunchy and warm. So delightful. We will return.

We visited this wonderful cafe three different times in our 4 day visit. They have excellent snacks, coffee and drinks no matter what time you need a pick me up. Matteo, the owner, is awesome and gave us fantastic recommendations for other restaurants in Como and even made a reservation for us! If we get the chance, we’ll be back again!

Great spot in a very centralized location in town. The ladies serving and preparing the coffees were attentive, great listeners, and brought exactly what was asked. Try the pistachio and vanilla croissants! Definitely a great way to start the day in Como!!!

The toilet was in a deplorable state, no respectable place should leave it in such a state. Later edit: contrary to the owner's reply, I stayed for less than 10 minutes in the bathroom and also bought some sweets, which were fine.

Indeed the best coffee in Como! I even came here twice :D Lovely staff, great vibes and finally a decent double-shot cappuccino! My partner tired the double espresso and it was also great! Spent a few days around Lake Como and this has been one of our favourite places for breakfast and coffees. Delicious Pinsa with fresh fruit and custard, nice pancakes and crêpes. Ice-cream not the best but the service was very friendly and helpful! Thank you!

This was a interesting experience 😂 The staff we had was not polite, were busy doing their own thing and there was no cook?? They had to make it all themselves which took so long. We waited like 45 minutes for 3 sandwidches and some pancackes. I went to the bathroom on purpose to see what was going on inside, and saw one of the waiters quickly finishing the pancackes after waiting all that time. And then the food was so plain.. one PIECE of lettuce, some chicken and cheese that was it. The smoothie also definitely did not have the ingredients it was supossed to have. All the food was plain and boring, sorry. Overall, really bad. We had a few laughs tho at how bad it was, so that’s something 😂 Oh, and the music was toooo loud. I would lunch somewhere else if I were you.

Absolute little gem - an unsuspecting place amongst many fancy restaurants by the wharf. Hands down, the pinzeria (like a pizza!) was surprisingly amazing that we came back again the next night, their specials were also great (we had two other pork dishes also delicious??). The wait staff were so nice, and the owner is also the friendliest person. Perfect place to get some great food, great drinks and desserts!!! The vibe inside is super chill and there is a chest full of games (not to mention like a video game system too). Would come back again in a heartbeat!!

Where the locals come !! Where sevice is at laid back pace but with authentic interest in you as a person than as a customer ! We are now in como and surrounding for the last three days and have had compari with orange juice at least 4 glasses every day and this place served the best and cheapest till now ... The pasta here also was reasonable , I 'd rather eat this pasta than the " house made pasta " at touristy places at exorbitant price ..

The gluten-free Lasagna was so amazing.Do not walk by if you are glute free. Very very good.

Warm friendly place. Very reasonable prices, and the pasta is absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the pizzoccheri della Valtellina, a local specialty. We liked it so much we came twice in two days!

Inexpensive place to eat. Some dishes were great, some were not enjoyable. Pasta with ragú sauce was delicious, but the chicken in a curry sauce and fishy spinach side dish were questionable. Ribs were not looking fresh, potatoes as a side dish were fatty and not fresh either. Tiramisu was not the best. Service was nice and friendly. Good wine list, but the bottle of red we opted, was served too warm. The temperature inside the dining room was too warm and it felt stuffy. We found the value was great, but there were some “hit and miss” things. The restaurant seems popular within locals, which is always a good sign, but some dishes to be avoided. I would try again, but next time I will be more careful what to order, most probably will stick to pasta dishes. Water and coffee was included in the lunch menu and not charged separately.

Such a great place to eat! I had some time to kill before I could check into my hotel and popped in for lunch. Susanna was my waitress and she was an absolute angel. They didn’t have any English menus so she translated and gave recommendations. I don’t usually like fish or olives but the dishes served were so fresh, simple and delicious. It was fairly priced and didn’t feel like a tourist trap at all. The tiramisu was absolutely out of this world! They don’t have a big menu but the items they do include are done really well. Fantastic food and great service. Highly recommend!

We came here for lunch and the guy working there was really accommodating to us, explaining all the options on the menu in English. We let him know we don’t eat meat and he let us know what the good vegetarian and seafood options were. I ended up having the troccoli calamari and broccoli and it was delicious. It seemed to be mostly locals on a weekday lunch time and not too busy.

I have breakfast here because it is just in front of Valduce hospital (emergency side). It attracted me because its stunning French country style decorating. I ordered croissant and latte macchiato, croissant is better than the general standard bar ( you must go to try it ) and latte macchiato is a bit bigger size than some bars whose size is similar to Cappuccino. The late macchiato here is also better than normal bars, the size is more correct! you can still taste the strong coffee flavor, not just milk taste. Serivce is gentle and professional, I supposed the waiter is the owner himself, he wears the uniform as a Michelin star chef and speaks English too. When he brought my breakfast and even brought one glass of water for me ( very sweet and considerate)! Ambience is very clean and makes me feel confortable and quiet. The owner told me they offer business lunch set everyday (lavoro menu) and each day has different menu. I can not wait to go back to try their lunch set. This is my 2nd review for this restaurant, today I had their lunch set euro 15 including Appetizer, first and second dishes, water and wine/beer/soft drinks, coffee and dessert !! They use fresh and good quality ingredients to make creative and smart dishes. For Appetizer, there are 3 kinds of food inside the plate. The second dish is the grlled pork shoulder (coppa) skewer wrapped cheese and 'nduja , pair with fennel and orange salad, and baked potatoes. From the pictures, you can see the chef put his efforts and heart to combine all simple ingredients to make it special and delicious ! Normally the lavoro menu offer very simple house wine, but this restaurant offer good quality glass of wine and quality beer. If you order soft drinks, they still offer one bottle of water extra. Today we got the dessert is puff pastry (mille-feuille) with cream and fresh fruit. All the dishes are well decorated and layering flavor gourmet!! For this complete gourmet experience, you spend only euro 15 !!

The truffle gnocchi is dynamite! I have traveled many places in Italy, and this ranks in the top three. If you love risotto, you must try the prosecco risotto- fantastic! The service was excellent as the owner is very involved in the dinning experience. Make the walk outside of the city center to enjoy a true authentic Italian meal!

We are staying at The Edition Hotel next door to this cafe for 3 days now. Every day we witness locals on motorbike, cycle or walking stopping for a quick coffee and snack. I can not speak to the poor reviews and feel some people are just flat out rude, however, if you want the BEST CROISSANT, you must try this place. We were served fresh from the oven a Pistachio Croissant and coffee and it was nothing short of amazing. The people are incredibly friendly and engaging. Please do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret❤️

It's place to go prior to ferry trip to Bellagio or Varenna. Staff is quite friendly, their sandwiches and toasts are delicious as well! Outdoor seating next to the road with lake view is cozy and vintage! Don't hesitate to visit prior to boarding.

We came here for midday and evening drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) along with some light snacks, and everything was just lovely. The cocktails were delicious and beautifully made, and we especially enjoyed the thoughtful snacks that came with the drinks. The bartenders were warm and attentive. The view was beautiful, adding a sense of calm to the whole experience. Our 10-year-old really enjoyed the dumplings too. A perfect spot to relax, sip, eat and take in the beauty around you. We’ll definitely return.

Honestly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. It’s been a week since we visited Koicha Room and I’ve thought about it every day and told everyone I know about them. The food was superb, specially enjoyed the oysters, sashimi and the Rainbow Rolls. There’s really something for everyone on this menu. The service was great and staff were welcoming and attentive. I will come back to Como just to have this experience again. The price of €35.90 (£31.38) for all you can eat sushi is such a fantastic price, you honestly cant get sushi at that price anywhere and to that standard, it just made everything even better! Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Como and want something a bit different.

Found this little gem in Como after a google search. You would never find it off the street as it’s literally a door where you take a lift up to the rooftop. Gorgeous modern restaurant with great all you can eat buffet prices. Huge menu with lots of choices, staff speak English and the service is top notch. Even more, there’s a terrace either side of the restaurant with panoramic views. Even the music is relaxing. Unfortunately the food service was very slow and a few mistakes made but the staff apologised and explained it was due to a staff shortage and they tried their best which was evident. Food is good quality for the price but not the most amazing sushi you’ll ever eat. Worth a visit for a relaxing lunch on the rooftop!

After 3 times visiting this place I absolutely recommend it! Food is fresh and delicious, plates are very accurately made, and of course the view on Duomo is fantastic! The place for any occasion, dinner with colleagues, romantic evening or just to have lunch.

This sushi place is truly my favorite in the whole world! And I’ve traveled a lot and tried sushi almost everywhere. It’s not just fresh and beautifully presented - it tastes exceptionally delicious! The quality is outstanding, and the prices are more than fair for what we received. Absolutely recommended!

Koicha Room in Como was such a great find! The price-to-quality ratio is exceptional, and the vibe of the place really stood out to me. We went on a sunny weekend without a reservation and still got a table outside with a stunning view of the cathedral. The all-you-can-eat option was perfect, easy ordering, delicious food, and friendly staff. We also came back one night for cocktails, which were excellent and very reasonably priced. I loved that they even served little snack plates with the drinks. The mix of a modern setting with views of the old city really made the experience special. it was a highlight of our trip!

The price doesn’t match the quality. The food is average, sushi has too much rice and tastes strange in combination with some products. The waiters are mixing the tables and asking each other loudly where to serve the food. But it’s modern and has nice views to the city.

What a great little find! This spot wasn't far from our Airbnb, outside of the main centre of Bellagio. It was a great local restaurant next to a petrol station and we were the only tourists in there. We tried a variety of pasta dishes, all of which were amazing. My friend said her tomato and basil spaghetti was the best pasta she's eaten! We also got involved with singing happy birthday to a local and got served free prosecco. Could not fault the food or service! Prices were also very reasonable. Thanks once again!

Great friendly local restaurant! Had a wonderful local whitefish ravioli and the owner/chef treated us very well. Worth the short walk from the main town of Bellagio as it had much better prices! We were the only tourists there and everyone else was local. Would recommend greatly!

A nice locally owned restaurant outside of the tourist area in Bellagio. All dishes we ate were good portions, and the pizza was delicious! You must try the salami piccante!! Also, the tiramisu was so fresh and light. Came back for coffee & pastries the next morning. Pastries so light and fast coffee service.

This place deserves five stars for its genuine authenticity, very kind staff, delicious food and good prices! The ambiance is very basic, but that’s its charm! This is a place where locals seem to be enjoying their company and socializing. Food was to the point and delicious. Prices were very reasonable.

We dined here on Wednesday night and really loved the food. The carbonara was one of the best we’ve had on our trip. Also recommend the mushroom pappadelle and the caprese salad. The two girls who run the place are lovely too 😊

We came as a group of 4 and ordered pasta and drinks. The pasta is trully top notch, it's affordable and very tasty. Wine is also great, that's what I had. The rest of us had drinks, there was a little bit too much ice/water in the drinks, the taste was a diluted. But besides that, everything is great: service was great, server speaks english, the place is clean and well kept, food arrived quickly and we got free bread and cheese for the pastas. I recommend wholeheartedly that you try the pasta here and wash it down with some wine. I would avoid drinks, as they're quite expensive and not that great, especially 8€ for a medium glass of mojito 🤯.
