Breakfast restaurant
This elegant coffee shop in Arundel is a fantastic choice for your daily dose of caffeine, offering a wide selection of coffees at affordable prices. Whether you prefer hot or iced coffee, regular or decaf, Motte and Bailey Cafe will gladly cater to your preferences. They also have an impressive variety of cakes that complement their beverages perfectly. The restaurant's popularity is evident as it can get quite busy, but the staff ensures prompt seating and service.
Great location in Arundel high street - nice atmosphere and very good service - we had lunch from the specials board - I had the large salad bowl which includes all 5 salad option and my husband had the quiche with a choice of 3 salads - was so good we went back for breakfast perfect poached eggs for me nd sausage and egg bap for hubby - all I can say is yummy 😋

The fact they serve all-day breakfast was such a vibe - and absolutely worth it! The portion sizes are great, the prices are low, and the service was exceptional.
Lloyd M — Google review
Came here for a tea and a scone and it didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Food and tea was delicious and atmosphere was lovely, quiet but still busy. Definitely recommend them.
Livia T — Google review
Nice place for brunch in Arundel. It was during the town festival when we visited, so the place was packed. We waited a while to be seated and waited 45 minutes for our brunch orders to be served. I guess the surge in customers was not anticipated and prepared for accordingly. Other than that, the washroom is at the basement, so I don't think it is wheelchair accessible. Portions are slightly on the smaller side with a single slice of bread for the veggie english breakfast and additional 2 slices with jam and butter for £4.50.

Conveniently located next to Arundel Castle, good food and drink served promptly.

Lovely place for breakfast or brunch in Arundel. It was very busy when we came, so service was a bit slow.

Stumbled across this lovely cafe while in Arundel early on a Saturday. The staff were very polite and friendly and the service was efficient. Food was very delightful and presented beautifully. Prices were what you would expect for somewhere that’s more than your average cafe.
Sarah T — Google review
Average at Best!! Heard a lot about this place over the many years I’ve been in and out of Arundel. So as my usual Cafe was packed our group of six popped in here for a late Breakfast. The staff and service were great don’t get me wrong that’s the plus side. The food was the disappointing part. The M & B Breakfast to be exact. The Sausage was long and thin the eggs over cooked soggy tomatoes and who doesn’t serve beens with a breakfast!! Only the place that wants to charge you more. The black pudding was over cooked and crispy. Then also the fact that it was warm and not HOT. Cold thin toast. My daughters scrambled eggs were to salty. Then also the thing is I know a thing or two about cooking breakfast as I was a breakfast Chef for nearly 40years. On the plus side the pancakes were fantastic as was the coffee. Also finish painting the ceiling that leads into the kitchen a yellow grease ceiling is not a good look. And maybe some white plastic sheeting under the hand dryers. You’ve been here long enough now so get it together. If I could give a 3.5 I would but it’s not a 4 so a 3 it is.

Nestled along the picturesque River Arun, Waterside Cafe is a must-visit spot for dog lovers and food enthusiasts alike. This charming cafe not only welcomes your furry friends but also offers a delightful menu that caters to all tastes. Whether you're stopping by after an invigorating walk with your pup or simply seeking a serene place to unwind, you'll find the atmosphere here incredibly inviting.
Beautiful spot for a bit of brunch, attentive and friendly staff, comfortable seating and an amazing view.. I had dirty fries with BBQ pulled pork and cheese and it was amazing. My wife enjoyed a cream tea with a tasty gluten free scone. Recommended..
Chris M — Google review
Visited on Sunday, 07/07/2024, for a delightful morning meal. I opted for the large full breakfast, while my partner and young son enjoyed bacon sandwiches. My partner also indulged in the cream tea. The large full English breakfast was lovely, featuring fried bread—a nostalgic treat I hadn't had in years. It was amazing! The bacon sandwiches were served with crisps, coleslaw, and salad, making for a satisfying meal. My partner raved about the cream tea, claiming it was the best she had ever eaten. The service was brilliant. The staff were friendly, and we even had a pleasant conversation about the weather, as it tipping down outside. My only gripe was the plate size for the large full English breakfast. It was too small, resulting in everything being stacked on top of each other. A bigger plate would have made the experience perfect. Overall, a wonderful breakfast outing with delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Mark C — Google review
Two of us popped in this morning and ordered two cream teas. I asked for tea and my partner asked for an iced coffee. The waiting staff were really lovely. The sort that should get a job at a better establishment. The scone was excellent.. large, fresh and tasty. Everything else was disappointing. The scone came with a single 7g jam sachet. These cost approximately 3p from Booker. If you want a second one, they charge you an extra 50p. The tea I was served was a single small glass mug. It was like a child’s portion. A few sips and it was gone. My partners iced latte was weak, watery and had no flavour. Essentially this felt like a tourist trap ripping off people using the coach / car park adjacent. Our bill was £15 for two scones and two disappointing drinks.

I visited here on 14th May with my mum. We were in Arundel for my birthday, visiting the Castle gardens and decided to lunch at the Waterside Café. We managed to get a table for two overlooking the river. We were handed menus straightaway and given time to choose. Which was very difficult (for me!). So many lovely things to choose from. Mum had the cheese & bacon tartlet with salad. After three false starts I opted for a cheese & mushroom omelette with salad and we shared a bowl of skin-on fries. The lovely waitress was very patient. As it was my birthday we decided to have a glass of prosecco and were asked if we wanted a frozen strawberry in it. Yes please!! The food was obviously all freshly prepared so there was a little wait but it was worth it. The tartlet was served hot with a lovely side salad. Mum was also asked if she wanted balsamic glaze on it. The omelette was full of big chunks of mushroom. The fries were really good and a plentiful portion. The prosecco came in little bottles so we had more than one glass each and some to take away. The waiter very kindly brought the bottle tops. All in all, an excellent choice for lunch and if we get a chance we will definitely be back. The service was super friendly and it was good value for money. Let's hope there aren't too many awful changes when the present owners retire.

This riverside cafe is a good choice for a hot or alcoholic drink. It's a little tired, but the staff are super friendly. Special mention to the quality of the homemade cakes, superb 👌 Highly recommend the cheese scone or the millionaire shortbread. Terrific.

Everyone was so polite food was amazing such a happy friendly atmosphere with amazing views. The owner has been very attentive. We will definitely be back. What more can anyone ask for? Thank you all x

1st time for us here today. And what a gorgeous homely vibe the place has. We had food and and drinks. Staff were attentive and polite. It's the best cream tea I've had in years.. Scone served warmed to perfection. The seating are has an array of all different shabby sheet vibed seating and heaters. The whole thing was utterly delightful loved it ❤️

We’ve been here for breakfast twice in the last few weeks, one of Father’s Day and then for breakfast yesterday. The food is fantastic freshly cooked to order and the service is 10/10 very friendly and chilled environment to relax by the waters edge. Lots to choose from off the menu but the breakfast is delicious and the chocolate milkshake! Will defo be returning to have some lunch over the summer. Highly recommend for a beautiful view over the river and lovely food, and right by car parking :)

Nestled in the charming town of Arundel, Partners Cafe is a delightful spot that beautifully marries traditional English pub fare with contemporary culinary creations. The cafe prides itself on using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, ensuring every dish bursts with flavor and freshness. Whether you're in the mood for classic comfort food or innovative vegetarian options, there's something to satisfy every palate.
Our first stop on our visit to Arundel. How pleasantly surprised we were on arrival. A quaint cafe well presented. A very large choice of meals on offer. I went for the steak and kidney pudding. It was served hot and tasted awesome. The lady serving was very helpful as my wife has a few allergies to contend with. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done all involved will definitely go back again.
Jim S — Google review
First time here at Partners Cafe. Decent menu, great choice of breakfast and sides. Will definitely come back, thank you Sue for the cake. Plates were left empty. Happy with everything from start to finish.
Southpoint R — Google review
Friendly cafe, with speedy service. I had an oat milk Americano, and the vegan cooked breakfast. It would be good if they added hash browns or some other potato item, and I would prefer a fake meat sausage, to one containing vegetables. However, enjoyed my breakfast and would visit again
David H — Google review
Popped in for a quick ice cream stop with the family. Cute coffee shop. Great friendly service from the lady serving. We chose a scoop of ice cream each. Strawberry, bubblegum, vanilla, mint choc chip and rum and raisin. All delicious. Was a lovely treat before leaving Arundel to start our long return journey home.
A.L — Google review
Lovely little cafe with an extensive menu. Food is well cooked, tasty, and well presented. We ate breakfast here, and it was so good, we came back for lunch the same day. Definitely recommend
Sandie P — Google review
Absolutely perfect. The veggie breakfast was spot on, lovely veggie sausage, not fake meat ones, but still delicious nonetheless. All the food was hot and freshly cooked and very little wait time. The coffee was fresh and hot. The staff were so nice and helpful and the cakes in the cake stand are to die for! Will definitely be back again as we’re making this our new brunch spot!!

What a real gem of a place !!!! Delicious breakfast, lots of choice for big meals or light bites. Very well priced and lovely service....will definitely visit here again.

Last week on my trip to Arundel, I visited Partners Cafe for some breakfast. The staff were friendly, had a great menu for food which was amazing! I had the all-day breakfast, it was delicious the best bacon I’ve ever had! Smoked and crunchy but so tasty. The cappuccino was lovely as well as the sweet warm apple pie desert. I highly recommend you visit this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I’ll be back soon 😎

Coffee shop
Tarrant Street Espresso is a charming coffee shop located in the heart of Arundel, known for serving some of the best coffee in town. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are dedicated to crafting delicious cups of coffee, using Square Mile: Red Brick beans with tasting notes including cherry, chocolate, raspberry, and hazelnut. The small space belies the big flavors found here, with owner Tim ensuring each order is prepared with care.
So happy I finally got to try this place, it is a cute little cafe with a few tables on Tarrant Street in the beautiful town of Arundel - loved the welcoming friendly barista and ordered an oat latte- it was delicious. the coffee used currently is Square Mile: Red Brick (Tasting Notes from website: CHERRY/CHOCOLATE/ RASPBERRY/HAZELNUT) which was delicious. Highly recommend and excited to return!
Sara R — Google review
Small coffee shop with limited space. One of the best coffees I have had for a long time! Rcommended
Martin A — Google review
Visited Tarrant Street Espresso before a long hike. Delicious coffee and pastries!! After we finished our first round we had to grab another couple coffees to start the walk. (Oat flat white specifically was delish) Will definitely be returning. Perfect start to the day!!!
James F — Google review
The most perfect little coffee shop, with every shot weighed and timed, and a changing coffee bean selection. It’s how every cafe should make coffee. Sigh….
Charlie S — Google review
Amazing coffee. Was a real joy to find this in Arundel. They serve Square Mile coffee too!

Great place. Wonderful coffee and pastries

Absolutely amazing little coffee shop. Real taste of coffee! TIM the owner IS SUCH AN AMAZING FRIENDLY Guy. Highly recommended it for anyone who is visiting Arundel.
Siavash E — Google review
Such a lovely experience. Don’t be fooled by its small space. The coffee is big on flavour, coffee shop owner Tim is welcoming and prepares your order with real care, and the pastries are super fresh. Don’t visit Arundel without popping in here for a takeaway or sit in if you’re lucky. Once you reach this place along Tarrant Street, stop and pop in.

Takeout Restaurant
East Beach Cafe is a modern seaside eatery that resembles a giant piece of driftwood and offers creative versions of classic coastal dishes. The menu features simple yet delicious options such as potted shrimp, locally caught fish, salt and pepper squid, crab linguine, and more. The cafe is committed to sourcing sustainable fish and boasts a unique location right on the beach in a stunning Heatherwick Studio-designed building.
It was a bright sunny Saturday morning we went out for a walk at East beach and stopped for a coffee. This cafe is just everything you would want - coffee, veg and nonveg English breakfast amazing friendly staff and spectacular views of the sea. You get take away coffee. Dog friendly what more could you want. We had scrambled egg on toast , and the person we shared the outdoor table had jacket potatoes and she loved it too. Not very costly family run business. Hope you have a great business.
Nidhi G — Google review
Everything is just right about this place! The location is right on the beach promenade, the food is fantastic with plenty of delicious fishy dishes and vegetarian alternatives, all of them carefully put together for maximum taste satisfaction. We came on a quiet day, although I can imagine this place gets really busy on sunny days, weekends or during the holidays. And we had to have the fish and chips which was really good. One we would highly recommend!
Daniela S — Google review
We came here on a busy Friday lunchtime in the school holidays and got a table straight away. There were lots of tables that were reserved! The prices were quite steep for a small café on the seafront but our fish and chips were excellent! Light batter on the fish, crunchy chips, homemade tartare sauce, good size portion and it came very quickly. Staff were attentive and friendly. Bonus for us was they had highchairs! A little cramped for space as they've packed a lot into what is quite a small café which means the tables aren't very big and we had to collapse our pram down. We also had the added complication of a baby trying to grab everything within reach! They also had signs advertising themed nights/events.
Alice B — Google review
I felt compelled to write a review for a wonderful lunch I had at East Beach Cafe - the trout with a beetroot and watermelon salad. I dont eat fish or beetroot but am so glad that I took the chance today. The food was very fresh, perfectly seasoned and was of the kind of standard that one could expect at a London restaurant. Having been here before, the standard of service is always exceptional and I have signed up for one of their events. Definitely recommend if you are in the area, or worth travelling a bit further for.
V I — Google review
A great cafe/restaurant with great food. Children welcomed with crayons and colour-in menu to keep them amused whilst waiting. If we exclude the 2 children, the meal was about £30 per head, but we did have the catch of the day and the wonderful squid starters
Ian B — Google review
Absolutely delicious food and excellent service! The staff were really attentive and polite, making us feel very welcome. The menu had a great variety, including options for kids, which was perfect for our visit. Lovely spot by the sea — highly recommend!
Katarzyna L — Google review
My mum and I came here for the first time as she’s just moved to the area The food was wonderful - incredible good value for money. My mum loves mussels - the portion size was huge , and they were beautifully cooked The view out the window on to the beach was stunning The staff could not do enough to help us - my mum is in a wheelchair and I was really struggling to push it at points and I was so helped Jordan the chef even came out to support Fantastic service , yummy food & great view! I can not recommend this place highly enough - I recommend it to you unreservedly Sarah & Shirley
Sarah M — Google review
A lost opportunity it's a fantastic spot but the food was not great and I wasn't the only person in the to have issues. The staff were trying really hard to deal with it so well done to them. There was that terrible smell of cooking oil that is way over due changing that should have warned me off when I walked in

This morning, I visited Belinda's Tea Rooms for breakfast and had an incredibly enjoyable time. The garden was charming and filled with sunlight. Instead of deciding on one cake, I opted for afternoon tea for breakfast, which was a delightful choice. The portions were generous, and the service provided by the waitress, who single-handedly managed everything with efficiency and a smile, was impeccable.
I first came here in 2020 when a friend treated me to my first afternoon tea (as an Americans first visit to the UK) and it was an incredible experience and I knew I’d be back. Fast forward to 2022 when I visited again and it was just as incredible as the first time. Scones were delicious, sandwiches were tasty and the cakes were amazing. So much so I still think about my visits years later. This charming tea room deserves all the success and will always hold a special place in my heart. I cannot wait to visit again. 🤍

Traditional tea room. Court yard garden is a little sun trap. Beautiful decor and staff are warm and welcoming. I've been several times, mainly breakfast but sometimes lunch. Every meal has been perfect. Cakes are also amazing l, bakewell is my favourite
Natalie B — Google review
We stumbled on this lovely little cafe by accident. It is pretty, cosy and atmospheric, with lovely food. I had a delicious vegetarian quiche with sweet potato fries. The only downside was that it really didn’t feel clean. The floor was sticky, the table unwiped, and the toilet really grubby.
Denise T — Google review
A quaint tearoom with old English charm, we went in for a quick lunch , though the place was packed , we were given a table straight away .The staff were lovely and warm , ordered halloumi fries, onion rings, ham and cheese panini, pea soup, pot of tea and elderflower drink . The service was excellent, food tasty, we enjoyed the tine spent @ Belinda’s , thank you !

The loveliest cafe we’ve been to in Arundel. We needed a dog friendly cafe and the food and atmosphere was brilliant, great veggie options and the pricing was very good too. Staff were lovely, attentive and welcoming
Nancy I — Google review
Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful I came in to get a lovely brunch and to get away from a crowd. As a woman coming in on my own I wanted some peace. Unfortunately I didn't fancy the owner chatting me up for a date probably to spend either more money or for a review. Not a smart business tactic.
Charlie G — Google review
6 of us went here for breakfast. It was very busy but the staff fitted us in. It was very quick service and a really good varied menu. Food was delicious really well cooked and good portions. Good tea too.
Carolyn J — Google review
Third time we have been here. In the past it has been a pleasant experience. This time we took some friends and were very disappointed. The staff were downright rude in their attitudes. Almost throwing the food on our table and waltzing off in petulant huffs. We were so embarrassed for our friends. No, we won't bring friends here again....

Garden center
Cafe
Haskins Garden Centre Roundstone is an expansive and well-stocked locale offering a wide range of plants, gardening supplies, and furniture. With its spacious layout and friendly staff, it provides customers with ample choices for their needs. The restaurant within the center boasts a generous selection of affordable food options, desserts, and cakes, as well as comfortable seating arrangements. Additionally, Haskins Garden Centre Roundstone offers various products such as clothing, toys, books, and more.
We love this garden centre, especially at Christmas time. The displays are amazing, and we can spend hours just wondering around looking at everything. The cafe is big so you can usually always find a seat.
Sarah P — Google review
Haskins is a really lovely garden centre in a great location. I come in here often - whether to have a mooch about or just for the cafe. There is always some fantastic seasonal decor in here, with the Christmas stuff obviously being a highlight. The Christmas displays are the type you bring the kids to just for the magic of it, and we always purchase a special christmas decoration/bauble from here yearly. Outside of the seasonal decorations, there is a large array of homewares, books, toys etc, as well as the usual garden centre bits (e.g… plants!!). This is definitely a higher end garden centre, and the price does reflect that. The cafe is one of my favourite places to go to lunch with my mum. There is a huge variety of food, with really generous portion sizing. There is even a full carvery stand where you can grab yourself a roast dinner. Again, the prices do reflect the portion sizes… I would almost prefer a smaller portion for a cheaper price. However, it is great quality food and staff here are always lovely. There is a wide variety of seating options and space, including outdoor seating. The toilets have always been clean and the entire garden centre clean & tidy. It is set in a small retail park with plenty of parking available.
Amy P — Google review
I love this garden centre. It’s a great meeting place for friends in the cafe, it has amazing plants at all times of year, seeds, bulbs and garden appliances. The recent addition of a Lakeland shop was a great idea. It is the most expensive garden centre in the area (someone has to be!) but the quality of everything they sell is very good.
Louise M — Google review
First time going to this garden centre, loved looking around the Christmas section, and the outdoor plants area had a really good variety. The only downside was the cafe, my daughter asked a member of staff, what time the cafe closed and was told 5pm, so we had plenty of time, so made our purchases before going to the cafe, to then be told the hot food stopped at 3pm ! (It was 3.10pm then ) No sign or notice saying this, in fact the only sign was stating the various hot food available! So we were left with only the cakes and drinks section. Recommend clear signage and advising staff to let customers know correct information.
Carolyn — Google review
My wife and I went to Haskins for a weekday lunch, parking was free of charge and easy, the restaurant was surprisingly large. The range of food & drink was superb, spanning from cream teas to roast dinner, we chose £12 paninis that included salad, coleslaw and chips. Finding a clean and available table was easy, the toilets were also very clean. After lunch we shopped in the attached garden centre that had a wide range of plant, household and Chrismas goods. This was our first visit (September 2025) and we were both pleasantly surprised.
Mike W — Google review
Ha the pleasure of meeting the lovely Lee/Leigh, she went above and beyond to help me with my enquiry and was very knowledgeable. I was stuck on which pots to buy for some Cacti that I had purchased and I kindly asked if she could give me the woman touch. She was lovely to talk to and advised me on how to look after the plants as well (no doubt they'll be dead in a months time knowing my luck). She did tell me that she was leaving to move to Wales in a months time and I am sure that this will be a substantial loss to your company. I hope she gets a big leaving present from the staff and please pass on my thanks and a good luck with her move, though she needs to get off the motorbike now. Thank you from Dave. 👏🥰😎💖
Dave M — Google review
Undeniably a nice garden centre, but you'll be in the minority if you're not using the dog friendly facilities to the fullest. I don't know what most of the things are for, and I certainly can't afford them, but who doesn't enjoy pretending they can afford a garden furniture setup that costs as much as a small family SUV? The sights and smells are a veritable treat for the senses, and the café is tempting, but if you venture into the outdoor plants section I cannot vouch for you or your pets safety, let alone your fiscal independence. The fact that they have coach bays should tell you something!
Gordon F — Google review
Went to buy a garden parasol, only to find Xmas preparations had taken over! Had a nice lunch though in their impressive restaurant. Overall it is a very good garden centre, well set out and comprehensive.

I recently visited The Honeypot Cafe & Kitchen during a busy school holiday period. Although there was a short wait for a table, the experience was worth it. The fishcakes were incredibly delicious and made with organic, locally sourced ingredients that added to their amazing flavor. My husband and son enjoyed the cafe breakfast, particularly the grilled tomato which had been prepared excellently. The service from the waiter was outstanding as he accommodated our request to swap mushrooms for baked beans.
Friendly, quirky local cafe with excellent quality food and coffee. Frequently changed unusual decorations (think Harry Potter or Alice in Wonderland!) and games on the tables.

Easily the BEST breakfast spot in Rustington! If you love great-quality local produce, The Beehive is without comparison. Delicious flavours throughout the menu and great value for money! I’ve been coming here for years and I can’t decide which is my favourite, from the Classic to the Veggie or the gorgeous Blueberry Pancakes with Crispy Streaky Bacon!!! Mike and the team have really got a good thing going on here, family run, fun atmosphere and I almost forgot the beautiful Homemade cakes!!! Liz makes a seriously irresistible Coffee & Walnut cake! Nice little cafe, though decor could do with a bit of a spruce or update. I ordered a breakfast which was nice ( I like that you can choose how to have your eggs). Wasn't a fan of the sausage but I'm quite fussy with my sausages....luckily my husband isn't quite so fussy as he already had 2 on his plate, but still managed to stuff 3 in his mouth! Took them better than I would have! 😲 Service was good. Shame the games on the table had pieces missing cos we love a good game of connect 4. May come back to try the cakes, they looked gooooood 🤤

We were the first customers of the day, but the food tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. The bacon was dry and brittle. The sautéed potatoes were also dry and tasteless. As new locals, we wanted to give this cafe a go, but won’t be rushing back. Disappointing.

Really love this place. I am a newish customer of only a couple of months. Booked a couple of tables there for groups of four or more. And always had a nice table. Staff and owner are lovely and so friendly. Tables are cleaned down properly after every guest. 2 x toilets spotless and one fully disabled accessible. I have only been there for breakfast. And sampled their big breakfast (full English) and fabulous Eggs Royale. Not many places get the sauce right. But these guys do! My children have eaten there twice. And they do a mini children’s bacon and egg breakfast. I love their bread / toast as it’s proper bread. My children were not keen. Also their menus state ‘Heinz baked beans’. Those beans are definitely not Heinz. That probably needs deleting from their menus to comply with trading standards. Beans were very bland. And everyone who had beans disliked them. That’s my only criticism. That and the erratic music choice. Which has varied from music torture to obscure. Please buy better beans, and subscribe to more upbeat universal music.

My favourite local cafe. Michael and his team are very welcoming. Good service, great food, all cooked fresh, all local produce. I love their breakfasts, lunches, cakes, and teas. Favourites are hot chocolate, bacon sandwich, crumpets , lemon curd, coffee cake, and sausage sandwich. Their afternoon teas are amazing! So much choice, delicious scones, fab sandwiches, and fancies. I highly recommend Honeypot Cafe!☆☆☆☆☆

A really nice modern, clean and spacious cafe by the water. Lots of seating both inside and outside. Doesn't seem to have public WiFi. Does have gluten-free options. Has a breakfast, day and separate evening menu. Free street parking and paid parking nearby. Has toilets, shop area and serves at your table. Only frustration was not listing complete details of menu items e.g. my burger came with pickles and red onion in it which I would have removed, taking them out on arrival spoilt the flavour of the burger for me.

Lovely cafe in Little Hampton! We popped in here while we were visiting the Beach, Thankfully it wasn’t too busy and we were able to get a table outside. You pick your menus and cutlery on the side and then order your food and drink at the counter. The menu has an amazing selection, we went for the big breakfast & veggie breakfast. The food came very quickly and was perfectly done, it definitely hit the spot in the morning. We will be visit again to try more of the menu and enjoy the beautiful view!

This was one of the best breakfasts I've had for quite a while. Hot, freshly cooked and tasty. and I didn't have to wait long. There is plenty of seating, inside and outside, and a varied menu. They also stock Marshfield Farm ice-cream, which was so good I returned the next day!

A big favourite of ours - we go whenever we can! The menu is quite extensive plus there is always a good 'specials' board to. The staff are very pleasant, professional and efficient to which makes a big difference to a place I think. The riverside location makes for a relaxing place to watch the world go by. Also the fantastic view down to the mouth of the River Arun is second to none. We thoroughly recommend it but shhhh - don't tell everyone!..

We love coming here to eat every time we visit Littlehampton and generally visit a few times during our stay. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or a snack the food is lovely. The choice of ice cream is great and they all look delicious. The staff are always very friendly and chatty and make you feel really welcome. Not too much of a wait for the food but it's understandable during busy times and always worth the wait. Looking forward to our next visit.

A lovely lunch for us today. Decent sized portions for adults and kids. The kids fish and chips looked absolutely delicious and the small breakfast was more than enough for me. Delicious coffee and service was brilliant. It was a busy time but they tried hard to get the food out quickly.

Great harbour views and service. Foodwise was nothing out of this world, definitely some of the better fish and chips I’ve had but not mindblowing. I appreciated the skin on haddock. We tried the pollock and haddock as they were out of cod. Cost was suprisingly not too bad, £35 for 2.

Broken Eggs Cafe is a charming spot with friendly staff and a clean, well-kept environment. While some patrons found the breakfast to be satisfactory, others felt that certain elements like sausages and bacon could be improved for a more enjoyable experience. However, many appreciated the freshly cooked food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Overall, it's considered a great neighborhood cafe worth supporting for its good food and friendly service.
A star breakfast. Service great, good choice on menu, food tasted great, nice coffee, well priced. Even do bubble & squeak, which is a must for anyone to try with your breakfast, it was lovely. Poached eggs cooked perfectly, nice thick bacon, decent sausages. we will be back for sure.
Natasha P — Google review
Had a breakfast here. Cafe is clean and well kept. The people are lovely. Polite and ready to help you out. The breakfast was OK. Didn't like the sausages. Tasted cheap. The bacon was a little fatty for my liking. I would have preferred the fat to be cooked more. I don't normally go for tinned tomatoes, but these were really nice. Overall, ok but by simply changing the sausages to something more tasty this would be a great breakfast.
Craig M — Google review
Was excited to pop in to a local cafe for a fry up. The lady who was serving was pleasant and attentive. Milkshakes tasted lovely. My positivity ends here. Cutlery - the fork given to me had some food left overs on it, so had to clean it with a wet wipe, the food was not great at all, however portions were very generous . The best thing on my plate was the toast and hash brown. Poached egg still was snotty, scrambled eggs overcooked and looked and tasted like a shoe sole, bacon was so raw that I thought I would start oinking at me. Sausage over cooked, Mushrooms … why on earth are they … DEEP FRIED????? I tried to soak some oil out them and the whole napkin was saturated in oil. They should be boiled first and then grilled and not deep fried. Will not be coming back
Irma M — Google review
JUST AVOID was 10 times the cafe with old owners. She lost out on £30 pounds of trade because was unwilling to change either black pudding or mushroom for a hash brown on a breakfast already priced at £13 pounds which doesn't even include a tea, and was very rude and adamant that I would have to pay £1.25 extra for a single hashbrown. We Left and had an amazing breakfast at one of her competitors. Who i might add swapped the black pudding for extra bacon and gave me 2 hash browns instead of mushrooms and came with a drink all for £11.

Popped in on whim on a bank holiday Monday as was the only cafe open before 10am, what a little gem of a cafe. The food was hot, well cooked and most importantly tasty. Tea was served in a mug, not one of those silly tea pots and cups you can't get your pinky finger in, so that a massive plus. Well worth a visit.

ordered off just eat, order took an hour to even be out for delivery, breakfast was barely warm and the milkshake was half full with not even a straw. the fact that i paid £23 for it is even worse. i would ideally like a refund because ive been mugged off a bit there. also i dont know how you manage to make toast chewy but you managed it

Pagham Beach Cafe is a charming beach shack with retro decor, including formica tables and rock n' roll memorabilia. The cafe offers traditional breakfast options and a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Despite some mixed reviews, many visitors praise the cleanliness of the cafe and enjoy the fresh, reasonably priced food.
The food was very well presented. Tasted lovely. Customer service was friendly, polite and very helpful. The kids particularly loved the banana milkshakes and I was more than satisfied with my cod and chip. The kids meals are good value for money with decent size portions. I like that it came with a side of salad for myself and tomatoes and cucumber for the kids.

The staff here are mostly very nice, but the prices are insanely high for not good quality food. To start with, our cottage pie was VERY cold and the vegetables were almost raw. The all day breakfast I had was if it had been made by an amateur chef. Whilst I appreciate they wanted to make sure the Sausages were cooked, I have never seen a cafe cut a sausage in half or take chunks of it apart. I would not recommend here if you are on a budget and I hope your food is served better than ours was.
Killerb71 — Google review
Worse breakfast I’ve had in years. Sausages full of gristle, dry bacon that tasted rank, fried bread that was toast dipped in a frying pan, warm milkshakes and everyone had their food at different times.

I was taken here for breakfast by a friend. The first interaction was negative. We knew they weren't dog friendly. We stood outside the entrance to ask for a menu. The first words from female member of staff, you can't bring the dog in. We said we were aware but just wanted a menu as we were going to sit outside. My choice was a standard English breakfast comprising of 1 sausage, 1 rasher of bacon, 1 egg, beans, tomato and toast/fried bread. I have a severe egg allergy which potentially could be fatal. My friend went to place the order and explained that due to my egg allergy could the egg be swapped for a rasher of bacon. He was told "we don't swap, you'll have to pay for extra bacon". He was charged the normal price of £8.95 for a standard breakfast plus an additional £3.75 for a single rasher of bacon. The was no reduction of price for egg I didn't have but was included in the cost of thebreakfast. To add insult to injury, the breakfast was served on cold plates. We certainly won't be returning or recommending this café.

We had take away fish and chips, we had a large chips which was a small polystyrene tray which at any normal chip shop wouldn’t even be a small, they were also terrible half were burnt the other half under done. The ‘large’ fish was also tiny, size of maybe two decent fish fingers and was totally tasteless, for £5 odd for the chips and nearly £10 for the fish it was terrible. Avoid!!

Hotham Park Cafe is a charming spot suitable for visitors of all ages, with ample outdoor seating for fair weather and cozy indoor seating for colder months. The cafe is easily accessible as it's all on one level. Visitors praise the delicious food, particularly the vegan burger, and commend the friendly and efficient staff. The cafe offers a variety of treats including homemade food and drinks, with both indoor and outdoor seating options.
Had seen plenty of good reviews of the cafe in the park - decided it was our lunch venue with the family on a reasonably nice day. Inside was packed but thankfully got a space outside. Again, queue was pretty long, but actually got served fairly quickly, and food turned up not too long after that. Everyone liked the food they had - and it was far better than I probably would have expected. The only downside to our visit, and this is no fault of the cafe, was the people who seemed to be unable to control their dogs when not on a lead - at one point we had a small dog under our table, which initiated a bit of a shriek from our daughter (always fearful since a dog stole her sausage roll a couple if years back!)

Lovely place lovely atmosphere! Although, very overpriced on many menu items. Diet Coke at 4.25 for a 440ml, and was possibly the worst tasting I’ve came across if I’m honest. Eggs on toast cost the same as a full breakfast but less than a sandwich. The pizzas look amazing. The staff are friendly and the coffee is always good. All in all Be prepared to overpay for this cafe and stay away from the Diet Coke.

Popular restaurant in a great park. Not cheap, but the food was tasty and well made using high quality ingredients. The fat chips were amazing! The service was efficient and friendly. Be prepared to wait for your food when busy, but ours was delivered quicker than we’re were led to expect. So much better than most park cafes.

I had high expectations when I arrived and saw all the food from other guests. I went for a margherita pizza and was very disappointed! It was lacking tomato(sauce) and the advertised baby basil was completely missing. For 14.50£ I was expecting more than just an oily cheese pizza.

Delicious food! Compliments to all the chefs in the kitchen!!! 👏👏👏 Beautiful surroundings (yes, of course, it is inside a park 😁)! Having varied menu and food cooked to a high standard makes up, just about, for the grumpy young servers. Personally, I tried the goats cheese pizza and it was very, very good. Tasted the wild mushrooms and ham, very good too. Everybody in my company was happy with their food. Think some of the other dishes were the French soup and burrito bowls.

While strolling through the side streets of Arundel, I stumbled upon a quaint cafe called LG Cafe. This charming establishment stood out with its predominant pink color scheme and floral decor, exuding a sense of harmony. The cafe not only offered pleasing aesthetics but also an array of delectable cakes. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. We indulged in refreshing iced lattes served in unique skull-shaped glasses.
Punktastic LG Cafe, amazing decor and delicious food/ drink - I can certainly recommend a slice of Billy Idol’s white wedding cake! This cafe is an absolute must visit for Brit Punk fans - Oh and George Michael fans too, as the George Michael tribute toilet is an experience not to be missed! Huge shout out to the lovely owners/ staff, for making all their customers feel so welcome and providing such an amazing experience!

Brilliant punk music cafe serving delicious cakes and pastries. We had really friendly service from the wonderful manager, who was very stylish and knowledgeable. We had an interesting chat about all the pictures and punk themed displays. My husband loved the cakes so much he ordered a second one, which he also loved. The George Michael toilet is amazing and I was told some people visit just to see it. Highly recommended all round.

We popped in for a drink whilst visiting arundel. The cafe is decorated amazingly. Its covered in punk rock style from the 80s. And 70s. The cakes and food looks incredible. Really fresh and large. You can seriously indulge in here. Perfect for an afternoon feast. We ordered a blueberry muffin and a watermelon ice tea, called the Harry styles. And a cream tea but they swapped the tea for a hot chocolate. The staff were dressed from the era and served everyone brilliantly. The bill was £16. We would Highly recommend lg cafe and will visit again.

The system of take away doesn’t work, as you stand around, as if in the way and a nuisance. The staff were impersonal and made us feel like a hassle. We bought 3 small cannolis and 1 large for £11. A hideous price to pay, as they weren’t fresh. Bland and incredibly disappointing. I’d have had more flavour licking a wall.

After a great visit to the record shop in the old print works, LG cafe just sang out to us! An absolute gem among the quaint tearooms of Arundel. Great staff asking all the right questions, with just the perfect level of service. A very delicious and extensive range of cakes and pastries and a good cup of coffee. The decor is fabulous, and as for the toilet, well you have to see it to believe it!

What a super experience the other day when I came acros this most quirky, Lively, interesting and welcomming establishment. The owners, a young couple, were generous with their time serving and chatting about the amazing photographs, unique items, etc all around the cafe. Other customers celebrating a birthday were very excited about this unusual Cafe and had travelled from portsmouth to see the famous toilet facility which was the topic of conversation. When I went to investigate I was amazed. It was like visiting a disco with lighting, music playing and every surface was covered in photographs, newspaper cuttings etc. In tribute of George Michael. The cakes all looked very delicious ( 70% were made on the premises by the owner With family secret recipes) and there was a big variety of specialised tea and coffee. Iv told many people about LG CAFE and cant wait to visit there again.
Jeanette P — Google review
£21 for 2 cannoli and 2 drinks seems insanely expensive, especially when the cannoli aren’t freshly made (and therefore soggy), and the hot chocolate was 40% regular whipped cream. Staff were nice enough to us… but we overheard how they had to take someone else’s drink from in front of them to check if it was made correctly. The atmosphere is strange… very overwhelming considering Arundel is a very warm and peaceful place. The menus (though creative) are an eyesore and difficult to process. Also why am I drinking from a parrot?! From looking at other reviews, a bitter response from the owner is expected 😬

Been here a few times now for breakfast - and, particularly considering the price, the food is outstanding. Frankly at any price it's good - and if you like a fry up or eggs benedict you'd only get the same at a good hotel for at least twice the price. Everything is freshly cooked - and cooked well - not just thrown in a microwave or kept under the heat for hours as you might expect at under a tenner for a proper Full English these days. The fry up is a hungry belly's delight and the Eggs Benedict/Royale are poached just right and the Royale I had a few months ago came with a couple of good chunky bits of salmon too. I'd be happy with either dish, anywhere. That said, in truth it is a bit no nonsense - yes, there's table service for the food (after ordering at the counter); but remember to pick up your cutlery, napkins, salt, pepper, condiments etc from the counter when you order because all that's being brought to you is the plate and there is nothing set out on the tables. And the interior is what it is - a little dated, a little worn. Some patches of duck tape holding the seats together. But, these are ultimately tiny niggles that, if anything, only add to the appeal for me - it makes it feel that bit more... homely. Which before your morning coffee is definitely a bonus. Also, if you're serving me this quality food at this price... I would happily sit on the floor and eat it with my hands so... I am yet to try the lunch menu, so I'm extrapolating for this review, but I reckon I'd sum it up as this: You'd never take a date, but you'd absolutely go every day before work for breakfast - and could actually afford to; yet you'd still recommend it to your true foodie friends if they were visiting town. AND you'd quite happily take the family there any time. For less than a tenner each. Never change, Syrup. Please :)

We arrived at Syrup cafe to have a full English breakfast. The food was delicious, and the coffee was fragrant, aromatic, and very good. Prices were reasonable, and the service was fine. Unfortunately, the overall positive impression was spoiled by the lack of cleanliness. The tables were dirty and cluttered with dirty dishes, and the one we sat at wasn't cleaned before serving our order. The restroom was very dirty. Perhaps it was an exceptional situation? We will check.

Recommended by the Travelodge at Fontwell for breakfast as they don't do food themselves. The Forge is like a village shop and more, with more stock of products than you can imagine. Ranging from their own brand of products to ones that you can buy on the High Street to ones thst you will never find on the High Street, such a selection. Absolutely gorgeous little place to eat. The food was delicious. We sat outside in the sun watching lambs. My only issue is that it's not particularly accessible. The seats, floor surfaces, lack of space etc made it very difficult. There was also a lack of parking nearby that were accessible. Came here for a coffee a few weeks back, new to the area. The latte I ordered was wonderful, and the service I received from a lovely ginger haired barista was first-class! If I end up in Slindon again, I will be sure to come back! What a place!!

Stunning cafe!! Luckily found it after we had been walking for quite a while!! Very friendly and welcoming. I had a prawn sandwich which came with a salad, crisps and coleslaw, we also ordered loaded fried with chilli that was massive! Kids ham sandwiches, SourDough with hummus and onion rings. All delicious! Bought some cakes for home and they were great.

Very disappointed with our visit today. We have been here several times for lunch and have thoroughly enjoyed and couldn't rate them enough, but today we couldn't say the same as firstly they no longer have prawn sandwiches on the menu, secondly I ordered cheese & Pickle, the bread was cheap white bread, not the same as other times when had the Prawn and lastly there was so much pickle, it was hide to find the cheese and after a while it started to give me a bit of a tummy ache from the acid, so I couldn't finish

Located in Mewsbrook Park, a charming seafront area established in 1930, the Mewsbrook Park Cafe is a popular spot known for its well-maintained layout and delightful offerings. With its beautiful flower beds, picnic area, boating lake, and children's play area nearby, this cafe provides a lovely setting for visitors to enjoy their meals. The menu offers a variety of choices to cater to both vegetarian and meat lovers, with freshly prepared food and generous portion sizes.
Lovely little break from the rain on a Sunday afternoon. Very nice scrambled eggs on toast and a chai latte and a friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly and my over friendly dog was welcomed by all guests. Decent cafe, well located within the entry to the park. Parking may be a challenge in sunnier or busier times

I came here for lunch with my mother and son. Firstly we weren't really greeted and welcomed as we entered, then we weren't sure what we did regards to ordering, it was not clear whether you sit and they take your order or go to the counter, I had to ask. Food was OK. Nothing special, served a purpose. We wanted to sit at the last table by the window and when I asked for it to be wiped I was met with a very gruff and abrupt, verging on rude "well, you did chose the only table that needs clearing and I only have one pair of hands" hardly the welcoming response I was expecting! Then a couple came in with a Huge dog, why is it necessary that dogs are allowed in eating establishments I have no idea..dogs should be left outside. Won't be rushing back.

I've been here a couple of times now and the food is delicious! Perfect for a light lunch ,ice cream, cream tea or all day breakfast. Seating inside and out , lovely location just off the beach and by the lake.

Lovely place but the staff are rude and miserable. One of the girls at the counter screamed at another staff member about me because I made a genuine mistake. Made me feel really small. Won't be going there again, wasn't a nice experience. Hi David and Sharon, this was Tuesday 13th May, in the morning.

Choose from sandwiches, jacket potatoes, panini's, toasted sandwiches, burgers, scampi & chips, or a large basket of chips (and I mean big too), plus much more. There is a choice for everyone & it's also very good value, cooked to order & tastes delicious. If you have room for either a tub of ice cream or a Mr Whippy, then go for it as they too are equally gorgeous. Especially on a hot sunny day.

Nestled in the charming area of Aldwick, The Deli at Aldwick is a delightful café that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. With its inviting atmosphere and exceptional service, this spot offers an array of mouthwatering British dishes that are sure to please any palate. During my stay nearby in Bognor Regis, I stumbled upon this hidden gem and was immediately captivated by its offerings.
What a joy to find this place, and to have it just around the corner from where I was staying in Bognor. The ‘fresh out of the oven’ cheese & onion sausage roll that I purchased on a whim on a cold, wet, windy morning was so good I had to come back. 3 visits the following week for lunch; jalapeño sausage roll & salad, ‘all day breakfast’ quiche & salad, and on my last visit - the special of the day - chicken, mushroom and peppercorn pie with steamed veg (with a jalapeño sausage roll to take-away 😜). The food feels nourishing, wholesome, tasty and definitely filling and all very reasonably priced. The pastry on the pie, quiche and sausage rolls is thin and scrummy, and importantly, LOADED with filling - and not just cheap veg padding out the pastry. Things are made on the premises. Everyone is greeted with genuine warmth by the owner & her partner. Regulars, of which there are many, are greeted by name, but people stopping by for the first time feel very welcomed. I wish this place was closer to me. NB: the photos don’t do the food justice.

I popped in yesterday on the chance of a quick cuppa & cake. Emily was just closing, so I had a take away instead. The cake was delicious. The lightest sponge with real cream. Home made and amazing. It was big enough for two but I scoffed the lot!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!

Emily catered food for our family party and it was the best! Delicious pastries, sandwiches, gluten free options - and the cake! We're still talking about the cake. Every time I stop in for lunch there's a friendly welcome and a delicious meal. It's got to be the best deli for miles around.

Love this place ! I’m not a vegetarian but some of the vegetarian dishes with beat root and mushrooms and cheese are amazing, once chose an amazing looking quiche thingy over a full English as it look delicious and it was lol That said the toastys and full English and cakes are the best Gotta support the independent businesses And forget about the random boring people that just can’t do a day without moaning See you very soon

Best breakfast EVER we arrived about 9:30am and unfortunately had to sit next to the door because all the other two person tables were already taken. The friendly wait staff came and took our order. The drinks came quickly but there was a wait of about 15 minutes for the meal because everything is cooked from scratch. I could have waited longer because it was so worth it. I had the full english and my partner had the double breakfast. He had white toast while I asked for the granary. The mocha was delicious so I had 2! I definitely recommend this place and we'll be going again before we leave out holiday. It truly is the best place to grab breakfast. Not tried any of the other meals but I'm sure they are equally delicious. Forgot to take a pic of the brekkie because I was too eager to tuck in. Covid: they dealt with the additional restrictions very well. Even though the place is small you do have to wear a mask to your seat but if you do forget your mask you can eat outside.

Fantastic cafe and service. I had chicken caesar wrap and chips, which came with some salad, it was so tasty, I will definitely have it again. I also had a latte coffee, which was so much nicer than Costa's dribble. The staff are very friendly, I highly recommend The Coastal Coffee Co.

I had the Big breakfast, which I have enjoyed many times before but not for a while. I'm afraid it was very underwhelming. Fried potatoes were about three of the smallest new potatoes ever, cut in half. The sausage was very good as was the bacon (apart from the uncooked rind). One egg, some beans and a thin slice of toast. I'm sure there was more before and does not include the coffee that it used to. £11.95. Disappointing.

During a recent trip to Arundel for a wedding anniversary, my husband and I stumbled upon The Edible Sandwich Co., an inviting café that caught our attention after visiting the majestic Arundel Castle. Despite the dreary weather, this charming spot offered outdoor seating right by the river, creating a picturesque dining experience. We indulged in their fresh sandwiches and were so impressed that we wished we could return daily. On another visit, I savored their latte alongside a delightful walnut cake.
Located in a lovely spot, you can sit outside overlooking the River, blankets are provided incase it gets chilly, or you can sit inside in the warmth ,we chose the latter, its small but cosy. We ordered the cheese and onion toastie served with side salad and crisps and a Latte and the tuna mayonnaise sandwich with a side salad and crisps and cup of tea. It was delicious and Fresh. Highly recommend.
Natasha E — Google review
I recently visited Edible Sandwich and tried their latte and walnut cake, and I was pleasantly surprised! The latte was smooth, well-balanced, and had a rich, creamy texture with just the right amount of espresso. It wasn’t too bitter or too milky just perfect. The walnut cake was a real treat. It was moist, full of flavor. The sweetness was just right, not overpowering, and it paired beautifully with the latte.

Always been a solid call for a breakfast on our annual trip to Bognor. Good traditional English Breakfast with fried bread making it the main attraction. Might not be the most sophisticated dining (poached eggs cooked in moulds and with salad for breakfast?) but always very popular and definitely worth a visit.

Day visitor to Bognor. Poppin here for late breakfast as travel makes you hungry. Beans to cold and gave us the wrong dish. The fry up its self was your standard fair with all the processed foods. Only the mushrooms where real. Perhaps the tomatoes could have been fresh rather than tinned. More attention perhaps on the quality of the food rather than the stuff that catering companies provide because it is cheaper. Next visit I will look elsewhere. P.S the tea was awful like that you got back in the back the day at canteens.

What's happened with Howard's. I visit the coffee shop now & again and always have been pleased. Yesterday I ordered fish chips & peas. Well , living by the sea you imagine being presented with a piece of cod white in the middle. Instead I got a piece of cod which looked like it come out of a box from a freezer shop, brown in the middle, burn't greasy and hard & only a handful of chips. Never again for me.

Very poor lunch. Fish. Chips and peas. Nothing like I have seen before. Small box fish portion overcooked as was the very few chips. Same for my cousin and she couldnt eat hers. It was dry and well overcooked. It was her birthday so I didnt complain and cause a fuss, but I wish I had done now. Been going in this cafe for 6 years, but not any more. What a truly fabulous little gem of a place. As a regular anyway (due to their delicious coffee and tasty sausage rolls) I enquired about hosting a baby shower here as we wanted something slightly more low key and local to everyone. Stewart was fabulous at coming up with menu suggestions, being sure to include favourites within the options. The team helped us set up and displayed the cakes wonderfully with such generous portions (cakes are locally sourced too!) so much so, we sent everyone home with a bag of cakes! We had a wonderful young man stay on as they stayed open after hours for us and he served us up some of their yummy drinks on offer. The whole team are so wonderfully friendly and were so helpful from start to finish! I will 100% be recommending to others needing a venue to enquire here. Such good value to compared to others in the area, with the added bonus of locally sourced products. Another plus, which is why it became one of my regular spots, was due to it being super dog friendly, meaning the dog can come and enjoy a puppucinno too!

Lovely decor and scenery, friendly staff. Disappointed by the milk texture since it's meant to be a roastery. My partner and I ordered a flat white with soya and a milk cortado. milk cortado was fine. The soya was split due to over heating of the milk which I didn't ask for extra hot. I have been a barista myself and make coffee with a manual machine at home. For any coffee hobbyists I wouldn't recommend. Anyone who's not that fussed I reckon you'll be fine.

I have always liked EDGE, but list Tuesday it changed me. When you pay good money you expect the service and food to be good. I went down with family to have coffee and cake at close to £5 a slice. We all had the same cake and all come to the same conclusion its been on display for a long time it was dry and not nice. How can you expect people to come back and pay good money for poor standard food.
Anthony P — Google review
The coffee is still pretty good and the service polite but the preparation is sub par, thin untextured milk, loads of staff in the cafe and yet you're still expected to carry it to your table. Not up to scratch for a coffee roaster showcasing their wares. Look at Cast iron for an example of how it should be done

We visited as a group of four hoping to find a table for breakfast as we'd heard that it was jolly good. We entered the café to find that it was full of dogs, on the floor, on laps, one even licking from a plate at a table. Needless to say that we didn't stay. Clearly, they are very dog friendly in G&G, maybe a tad too dog friendly for those of us who prefer to eat without our canine friends dominating the environment.

Fantastic cafe! Food was delicious, high quality stuff. Great menu with lots of variety. Top notch coffee too - I had a great espresso. Amazing place!

Do you like enormous and interesting sandwiches with healthy fillings and proper bread? What about a cafe that sources its produce locally? And if that cafe also holds strong core values? I bloody love a place like that. Planning a return visit because the mushrooms on toast looked like something I need to experience.

Quality local ingredients used from nearby butcher bakers and coffee roasters . Good vegetarian options and always beautifully cooked. Outside seating area is popular for breakfast in the morning sun

Delightful Aussie style Cafe with excellent coffee and lovely food with high quality ingredients - menu includes sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. There are tables outside and shared tables inside including a snug area in the back. Good wifi (no mobile signal in this area). The team are friendly and soft music in background adds to the relaxed vibe. This place would not be out of place in Manly, Mornington Peninsula or Byron Bay, East Preston is very fortunate to have a gem like this.

Fantastic Café – Highly Recommended! You have to visit this place! The Clock House Café offers delicious food at great prices, all served with a smile. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—just what you want from a local café. We had two full breakfasts for under £12, which is incredible value. We wish we’d come back here instead of trying the Dolphin Café (big mistake). Thank you, Clock House Café, for a great experience. We'll definitely be returning!

Excellent food with such variety and quality. Fast and very efficient service. Staff friendly despite being busy. I notice a staff member stop and actively listen to an elderly customer who wanted to tell them a little story. Perfect service and affordable prices.

We were on holiday and stumbled across this lovely looking cafe. The first thing that attracted us we're the reasonable looking prices, but as soon as we sat we knew we made the right choice. The welcome was warm and friendly. The staff made us feel really welcome. The food was brilliant and cooked fresh and we didn't have to wait long. We left completely satisfied. Thanks

Good sized cafe, Waitress was excellent really chats to everyone makes you feel welcome. The let down is the food, it really isn’t anything special just very standard cheap cafe food and the portions sizes are small. At £15 for a breakfast with a tea toast and a coke there’s much more expensive out there but it’s the what you get for what you ratio that is disappointing

SENSATIONAL SARAH ..!! Just wanted to express our LOVE & GRATITUDE for Sensational Sarah today ..!! It was our first visit to The Dolphin 🐬 Cafe today and it won’t be our last ..!! Sarah was professional, kind and really loved by all the customers. The chef was also so kind and passionate and you could feel the love of food through her cooking. We had a lovely table outside for myself and my two children. The food was well presented, hot, fresh and delicious. I had a plain omelette with salad and chips. The children had food from the children’s menu. Loved the menu was simple but a perfect cafe menu ..!! The price point was spectacular value for money. We can’t wait go back and try the pancakes. Avoid the Dolphin Café Unless You're After a Bad 1980s Throwback We spent over £40 on four breakfasts and drinks, and it was a complete disappointment. The food was poor quality—overpriced and poorly cooked. The baked beans were dried out, the sausages had gristle, and everything tasted like it had been overbaked. The decor hasn’t seen an update since the 1980s: dirty, ripped front awnings, stained yellow ceilings, and an overall feeling of neglect. The whole place is in desperate need of a deep clean and renovation. To top it off, the staff were extremely rude. As we were leaving, with drinks from our own bags in hand, a waitress snapped at us about bringing in outside drinks—despite the fact we were literally walking out the door. Limited menu no atmosphere whatsoever. If you're after a grimy, outdated experience with bad food and worse service, then this place is for you. Otherwise, avoid the Dolphin Café at all costs.

Very good! My partner and I were visiting the seaside and came here for breakfast. It was very clean and cozy in the Cafe, we both had English tea and chose our breakfast. I had scrambled eggs and beans with mushrooms and bacon. My partner had 2 eggs and bacon with beans and mushrooms. We both had bread and butter with it. The price is right on target for what we are used to paying at our regular Cafe back home. Very nice, very clean, very friendly and just all around lovely.

Some of the best coffee I've had in a while! The service was quick. the staff super friendly and there was no pressure when I had to wait for my car MOT to be done. It was fairly quiet when I went in but service picked up while I was there. Even then, there was still a relaxed atmosphere and regular customers were greeted by name and with open smiles. My husband and I have been regulars for over a year. Recently we decided that the overpriced drinks and consistently unfriendly and dismissive staff aren't worth our custom. Nestled in the picturesque town of Arundel, UK, Lulamae's is a delightful cafe that beckons both locals and visitors alike. Just a stone's throw from the majestic Arundel Castle, this charming spot offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying light meals, aromatic coffee, and soothing tea.
Delicious breakfast and locally roasted coffee, and great service too. We had the special - homemade crumpets with scrambled eggs and salmon. Cooked perfectly! Dog friendly too. Will come again 😊

One of the best Tuna melt sandwiches i've ever had. Perfection. Looks like a nice breakfast menu too! Only thing i'd say, maybe some juicier options on the menu for lunch would be nice - for the less carby, high protein diets. Otherwise keep hold of that chef, whoever made my sandwich today is top quality, i can tell a lot from the attention to detail that went into it. Top job.
Em T — Google review
Having lived in Arundel forever, my wife and I often pop into town for breakfast when we have the opportunity. We've never been to Lulamae's before, in fact, we've often walked past it without due consideration. However, after today's experience, I could now kick myself for all of the times that I've missed out over the months and years foregone... The breakfast was absolutely SUPERB! Not only was both the food and the coffee spectacular, along with being super high-quality produce and super-speedy service out the kitchen, (especially noting that every single table was occupied), the service was second to none and the atmosphere was very chic. The chap who was serving and running front-of-house was great and always smiling and chirpy, especially considering that even though the place was busy. The whole experience was faultless! We'll definitely be visiting again for sure!

What a great little gem in Arundel! As we were checking out the menu outside I changed my choice three times and then changed it twice more when we were seated, just because it all sounded so delicious. And it tastes delicious too! Served with a smile, for free 😊 - and plenty of veggie options. It was empty when we went in and was fully booked 15 minutes later, so don't let that stop you. Highly recommended!

So clean, so cozy, kind staff and delicious food. Their carrot cake is out of this world. The smoked trout was delicious and the rye bread… ridiculous. The best focaccia sandwiches that change a few times a month. One meat option and one veggie option. They are incredible, fresh made to order, the best flavour combos and profiles. Yum! Smoked trout and eggs on rye toast is perfect, portion is manageable. It's quite pricey but you're getting something made with love and care with the best ingredients. The staff are lovely, the place is very cute. Decent coffee. Tap water offered immediately. I booked, which is a good idea as it's busy, but tables are turned over very quickly. Very disappointed I purchased Juna coffee trailer yesterday got 100 miles up the road the wheel flew off as there was no split pin holding the locking nut as this is the only way it could’ve happened, It happened on the very busy A14 just before the Orwell Bridge luckily not hitting a car or seriously injuring someone! Justin’s attitude was it was how I was driving (in a 40 mph average speed zone) or a pothole etc, Failing to acknowledge the trailer had anything wrong with it. I found this really disappointing as a seller Justin came across as very nice guy but as soon as this happened came up with every excuse apart from the trailer had a problem. The recovery and repair plus a new wheel and tyre as they couldn’t be found, I also have to pay for the road closure by the police to recover the trailer this will come to well over £1500 I was also very lucky only receive a caution and not a fine and points on my License. I’ve been offered a token gesture by Justin but feel he should cover the cost of the repairs and recovery. We’ve now found out through various trailer companies we’ve tried to source parts from That the trailer itself wasn’t legal to be used On UK road because of the type of axle that is on there. We are now talking legal advice to recover all monies lost through the recovery and parts and labour for the full repair and to be made uk road legal. So after having a new axle made and new wheels the trailer I thought would be road legal! Wrong so when I left Justin’s I asked him to stand at the back and check the lights were working!! So I went though the lights to which the reply was yes all working!! So yet another lie as there was no chance when the garage where the repair was carried out, checked them none worked! The photos explain why. So more money to get replaced. While the lights were being sorted I start on the inside in the description it stated ready to trade REALLY another death trap gas pipe work which would never pass a gas safe test. And dirty EHO must pass more down south than they do in the east, more photos show how dirty it was and obviously used like it!! More to follow as I work my way through a trailer that was sold as ready to trade

Bacon and egg roll consisted of an omelette and cremated bacon which was precooked and then reheated, not what I expected. Tried to buy a slice of lemon drizzle cake but was refused as it hadn’t been out of the oven for long yet it was on display on the counter with all the other cakes for sale.

Nigel L — Google review
My husband and I had no plans to stop anywhere for coffee but to avoid traffic chaos elsewhere, we diverted through Angmering, saw this little place and decided that we REALLY needed a coffee all of a sudden! This is a little gem of a place - I had an iced latte, the hubby had a cappuccino; as we were suddenly hungry I ordered a brie, bacon & chutney sandwich and he had a sausage roll AND a sausage bap. Not only was the food and beverages excellent ( I did not expect a huge toasted sourdough sandwich), but the service was too - nothing too much and all done with a smile. They also sell an eclectic mix of goods from chalk paints to ceramic hearts, reed diffusers to handmade greetings cards and much in-between. It's not the biggest place but well placed tables means means a fair amount of seating plus there are tables and chairs outside to enjoy your food and drink Al fresco. The only thing I could fault (and this down to my own preference) was that a little more chutney in my sandwich would have been nice - definitely not worth deducting a star for though!
Amanda K — Google review
I was walking past today and felt hungry so I popped in. Omg, I'm so pleased I did. The sausage sandwich was amazing - I want to know how they toast their bread so well! I forgot to take pictures of my food. 🙈 as it was so good I brought my husband something to take out; a cheese toastie and a slice of carrot cake. You do have to wait a few extra minutes for your food but it's so worth it! The value for money is great! I don't think I'll need dinner tonight, I'm stuffed!

Everything was great - staff were pleasant and friendly, my prawn and salmon salad was fresh and delicious, and I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes, even though it was quite busy. My latte was carried over for me - I am currently on crutches, so this was really appreciated.

A great cafe in the centre of Bognor. The food and drinks were very tasty, the service was friendly and quite quick, the prices were quite reasonable and it was a nice atmosphere. Recommended

The BEST coffee in town, side note the vegan caramel oat milkshake with 2 shots of coffee in it is SO good 😁 The only note is if you can't do stairs, there is limited seating downstairs, and can get quite a buy, so try for a quieter time

Best place for coffee, lunch, cake or even ice cream! Friendly staff and plenty of seating. Upstairs is a little quieter than downstairs. Our favourite place to go.

Popped in for a coffee and cake. Friendly, welcoming staff made our coffees whilst we chose. The Bakewell muffin was delicious and the cappuccino is the best I've had in town. Nice to have the day off today and enjoy spending time supporting fellow independent businesses in our beautiful town. Tracy, Around The Block Dog Supplies.

Very bad. Honestly, worst fry up I've ever had. They need a whole rework of their product. Dry as possivle, not one good thing on that plate even the sausages were bland and dry. I could make a better fry up and I'm not even that good a cook

Very nice panini bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce. The chips are so tasty and crispy outside and soft inside. Staff very friendly. Very quick to clean the tables.

Windy day so retreated to cafe. Nice bacon & egg butty (why the pea shoot garnish?) & latte.

Very cool cafe with plenty of outdoor or indoor seating. Good selection of hot & cold drinks. Cakes and light bites. Good selection of icecream’s. Seating outside has amazing views of the sea and because it’s about a mile from the pier there are less tourists and it’s more chilled and relaxed.

Really nice sausage sandwich and Cappuccino. Staff were really great, fantastic views and cafe is really clean, highly recommended.

Stopped here whilst working nearby for lunch, got the chicken and bacon panini and my pal had a tuna jacket potato. The food was of average quality considering the price, you’re definitely paying for the location. Great sea views all round with lovely staff. :) I would recommend this as a quick bite to eat place.

Circa June 2024: Family breakfast; as usual the restaurant was busy. The full English breakfast is OK, the "raw ingredients" were of low quantity; I've never seen an egg yolk so pale. The kids breakfast came with a veggie sausage. This should have been mentioned on the menu rather than when served. He's a fussy kid and refused to eat it after spitting out the first mouthful; we would never have ordered it if forewarned. The "kids mother", also a fussy eater nearly had a meltdown because she discovered a hair on the corner of her toast. It was so small and needed magnification to see it clearly; personaly I would have just broken the offending corner off of the toast. Finally, I must compliment the coffee. I was served an excellent cappuccino and they also serve decaf versions, so my wife was happy. ------------ Circa 2022: Busy day and most tables were full. I'm not sure if its a staff shortage or training issue but my table and several others still had dirty plates and leftovers on them from previous diners. We had to call for someone to clear and wipe our table down. Frankly I'm surprised that more urgency isn't placed on this, the adjacent uncleared table was attracting some hungry looking seagulls and they don't shoo away easily when a possible meal is on view. I'm not sure that £4.50 is a reasonable price for a bacon sandwich, even if it does come garnished with a few crisps on the side. For an extra £1.50 I could have had the small breakfast i.e. bacon, sausage, egg, beans and bread.

Lovely cafe at Felpham beach. Good for families, sells ice creams, coffee , cake and lunches. It was particularly sunny on this day we visited and the nice young man in black who works there brought out an ice cream tub with fresh water in for the dogs.

Nestled in a charming village, Willow Tea Rooms is a delightful café that truly captures the essence of home-cooked goodness. Known for its scrumptious selection of baked goods, hearty breakfasts, and delectable lunches, this family-run establishment prides itself on exceptional service and quality. Guests rave about the warm cheese scones paired with pickles and flavorful sandwiches served alongside fresh salads.
I have to say that I thought we were heading to the seaside for breakfast on our motorbikes, so was surprised when we pulled in here. I think this probably ranks as the best full English I've had! I've had a few over the years, but the bacon (choice of back or streaky!) and black pudding were something else. The potatoes were great as well. The chef and staff clearly all have a real passion for food, as I saw them making up their own sausage meat squares, for their sausage sandwiches! The chef had prepared an incredible menu for a special Olympics Fri eve meal, which meant he had created dishes from each continent! And as for the cakes...😄 YUM! Easy bike parking and the bikes in view. Lovely staff. I was even given the directions to get to their butchers to get my own supply of bacon & BP (Merry Meats , Yapton) double yum!! Thoroughly recommend an out of the ordinary tea room. As Arnie said, "I'll be back!"

Highly recommend this wonderful little village cafe offering amazing home baked cakes and treats along with cooked breakfasts, salads, lunches and afternoon tea. We had the very tasty warmed cheese scone with 2 cheeses and pickle, and a ham and mustard sandwich served with crisps and salad. The initial visit to Fig undoubtedly left a lasting impression, with an assurance that it would not be the last. From the moment one stepped foot inside, they were greeted with a genuinely warm reception. This delightful experience extended until departure, leaving no room for improvement. Both the service and cuisine were of exceptional quality. The menu boasted a splendid array of tapas dishes accompanied by an impressive selection of wines. The restaurant exuded a friendly atmosphere as it buzzed with patrons enjoying their meals.
We ordered Lamb flatbread, Halloumi & roasted veg wrap and Quesadilla wraps. Smoothiess to drink. It is worth waiting a bit longer for a meal even if it's busy, because everything was delicious and worth the price.

Dee Dee's is a cafe that provides internet access for customers who need it temporarily. The owner, assumed to be the lady working there, is very welcoming and accommodating. The customer found a quiet spot to work on their laptop and felt obliged to order more than just a drink due to using the WiFi. They opted for a Caesar Salad and a pot of tea, both of which exceeded their expectations in terms of taste and affordability.
I have had 2 cakes recently. They were both amazing. In taste and decoration. One was for a Golden and Ruby wedding. The second for a birthday. I had guests who don’t like cake saying how lovely they tasted. Will definitely use her again xx

Absolutely sensational, staff take the time and effort to ensure every person coming in and out of the cafe is treated with both a professional and friendly attitude. The food was excellent, very much simple food cooked perfectly, and it's nice to know that someone in the world understands how to cook a black pudding 😅 Love the decor, tables and chairs are very cool, and overall a brilliant place to take anyone - very much appeals to all ages 😁
Philip C — Google review
A tremendous find! We were staying at a small AirBnB-type place in Findon village, and Dee Dee's was 50 feet away. Hence, no contest wrt breakfast! Evidently Dee Dee has a sense of humor, as you can see from the coffee menu. The place is modeled after a small American diner - we learned that Dee Dee is an Elvis aficionado, hence the theme. My wife's porridge was yummy - it reminds me of the Ready Brek I had way back when. My fried egg and bacon sandwich, with a black pudding on the side(!), pressed the right buttons. Finally, the only reason I gave 3/5 stars for atmosphere was that we were the only customers there. Hopefully there's a bigger crowd on the weekends.
Kevin S — Google review
I can see most reviews on this place were positive but a disappointing experience for us. We arrived about 1pm to be told that the kitchen was closed for cleaning, so could only do sandwiches or toasties. So much for the all day breakfast! Ordered a sandwich and asked was there cheese on it to be told no. Would have really liked fries with it but alas not available. Sandwich arrived with cheese which was annoying but it was an honest mistake by the waitress. My real issue is what happened next. I was asked did I have an allergy, said no. I just really hate cheese. We waited around 10 mins for the sandwich initially which was fine. But now 3 minutes later the same sandwich came out with the cheese removed, and it was cold. So £10 for a cold sandwich that I knew had the cheese removed along with some stale crisps. 😞 Sorry Daisy, and thank you for your response. Usually we are asked how are food is by staff and if everything was ok. No one approached us. We weren’t asked when paying the bill was everything ok which is unusual. But I am astounded at the response… that we should be grateful that you cooked us food in a clean kitchen while you were still open for 45 more minutes? What is the cut off to get food prepared in a clean kitchen before closing? If you’re only open for 30 mins do turn away business? Should “all day breakfast” be changed to “breakfast til we clean our kitchen then you should be grateful that we cook for you” ? I have worked in restaurants and we cleaned up,after we closed. My daughter works in a cafe and cleans what she can before closing but if they have to fulfil an order after that they do, but it is because they are open! You will see from my reviews that they are 90% positive. I do not usually share negative reviews. I’d suggest that if you don’t offer certain food if you have cleaned early, remove the “all day” on the brekky menu.

We stopped in for breakfast at Harriet’s a couple of weeks ago. The coffee was excellent and a lot of care went into making every cup! Average and overpriced! Feels a bit 80s throwback inside (not that that's necessarily a bad thing), a few people in but not exactly heaving for a Saturday morning. Went there because I'd heard good things from reviews elsewhere and thought, given the decor, maybe it was a good place to get a value for money breakfast. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and I needed a second take when I looked at the menu.....Full English Breakfast - £13.95!! Still, I was there now so I went for it. Breakfast was served fairly quickly which was pleasing as I was starving. Eggs, bacon and beans were good, sausages were molten!! Deep fried and not exactly bursting with flavour. Hash browns were a touch overdone and a little greasy. Mushrooms were decent but small portion. Toast was really thin and a bit limp. Staff were very pleasant, although I ordered a tea and got a latte to start with, they were very apologetic and rectified this very quickly, although the teabag (with no string on) floating in the mug was a bit strange. Overall, this breakfast was ok and I could more than forgive the parts that were a bit average, but not at £13.95. This was far too expensive for what was being delivered. I like to give places a second chance, but I'm not sure I can at the prices being charged...... disappointing.

Great spot by the seaside. Tried caramel, chocolate and raspberry & chocolate ice creams, the raspberry & chocolate and caramel was divine, but the chocolate was average, a bit of disappointment for a chocolate lover. The scoops are massive and it's a value for money, so despite not liking the chocolate scoop I would still recommend it 🍦

My son took me & my grandson here for a sweet treat. The weather was a bit chilly but we sat outside nonetheless & had ice cream in both cones & tubs & then...tea & cake. The chap brought out the tea & cake to us on a tray. Both ice cream & cake were delicious. We had to park alongside the seafront & pay to park here. Next to ice cream shop is water fountains at I think it's called "Place St Maur" or something similar. We weren't prepared, but my grandson took his socks & shoes off & got soaked running through the fountains. I think sweet flamingo is open until 5pm, even though it's the summer hols. There's a loo, but on this occasion it was closed. A few small tables I think I recall inside & a few outside. Plenty of flavours to choose from. Will visit again.

The vibe is good, there is a limited food menu, but what they do is done well - Sausage, Bacon, Egg baps, BLTs & a nice selection of cakes. Friendly and good value for snacks and tea/coffee etc. Putting green, leisure train and park nearby. Free street parking usually possible but plenty of paid parking round if needed. Very close to beach.

We went looking for somewhere to have breakfast and ended up here. Good coffee, good vegetarian options (and multiple options too) and excellent prices too. I stayed full for most of the day! Their prices are good for all options.

Overlooks tennis courts. Much quieter than the other cafes. Has all the usual facilities and is very clean. If you'd like a more peaceful place to eat, I recommend this.

Google should consider adding a sixth star for the exceptional quality of food at Green & Coal. The salads are among the best I've ever seen, and they offer an impressive selection of main dishes. The Peach Tea Pork Belly and Argentine Sausage flatbread, which was a weekly special, were both truly extraordinary. This place comes highly recommended! On another note, while visiting Arundel, I stopped by Green & Coal for tea and cake.
Dan has 24 years experience cooking and it SHOWS. I’d give this place a 10 if I could. Phenomenal breakfast and eggs, fantastic teas, super friendly staff, great atmosphere. If you like good food and good tea, do NOT miss this place!
Tessa E — Google review
The place looks very inviting from the outside with it's numerous number of plants and relaxing looking interior. But the food and drink we ordered weren't up to the standard we were accustomed to so felt it was a real anticlimactic experience. I had high hopes I would love the cafe but in reality the mixed plate of salad and coffee we ordered wasn't to our liking. The food was rather bland and undercooked. Coffee was too bitter and not creamy enough to what I am used to eating at various places in the past.
Wei H — Google review
We had a delicious brunch here, such gorgeous food. Between us we tried everything from soup to toasted sandwiches and a range of salads and of course I had a little taste of everything. A brilliant place to eat if you are veggie as there's loads of selection. We tried a few of the many teas they have available, definitely a tea drinkers paradise! A really lovely place to stop and eat in Arundel.
Claire J — Google review
LOVE the tapas style menu . The salad plates are my favourite… beautifully balanced, exotic & different every time I’ve been… It’s great to have a nutritious, healthier option in Arundel. Cakes and pastries are made fresh and of course, the choice of teas and beverages are also delicious and endless!
Zoe S — Google review
Google need to create a 6th star for this place! Food was outstanding!! Some of the best salads I’ve ever seen, paired with a choice of incredible mains. Peach Tea Pork Belly was unreal as was the weekly special of Argentine Sausage flatbread. Cannot recommend this place enough!
JL B — Google review
The strawberry Bakewell was pleasant if rather sweet. It had coconut in it, unexpectedly. The Darjeeling tea was good . However, it was not busy yet many tables were not cleared or cleaned. In hot weather, this is particularly unhygienic.
Philippa F — Google review
Beautiful quaint cafe located in Tarrant Street in Arundel. If you drinking tea, then this is heaven! More tea varieties than most people even know about and at a reasonable price too. We'll worth checking this venue out. I had the blueberry muffin tea!!!

Always a good atmosphere in Green & Coal. Good coffee and toasted sandwich. Service is great and it’s very accommodating for babies / kids. Really like it there.

Poppins Cafe & Restaurant in Bognor Regis is a delightful family-friendly eatery that serves up traditional British favorites all day long. Known for its hearty breakfasts, this no-frills spot offers generous portions at great prices, making it an ideal choice to kickstart your day. The service here is impressively quick and friendly, ensuring you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
"Poppins Bognor Regis is a top spot for a meal, especially if you're after a hearty breakfast. The service is super friendly and quick, so you won't be left waiting long. The breakfasts here are massive and really good value for money, perfect for starting the day on a full stomach. It's a basic café with simple, no-frills food, but the quality is great for the price. The food is tasty across the board, but the cherry pancakes were an absolute standout—seriously epic. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit for a great feed in a relaxed setting."

I ordered two "late breakfasts" on "Just Eat". The delivery was fast, the food hot and very tasty. Next time I'm in Felpham I may drive into Bognor and breakfast here.

First time of using a Poppins, and not disappointed at all. Food was hot and freshly made. Service was very good. Looking around the cafe, it was spotless no dust on the tiles, even the staff cleaning the kitchen area, highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing food and presentation is awesome 😍 price is good cheaper than bigger cafés/restraints. Staff is super friendly. highly recommended this place and disabled friend. 3 adults 2 children we had meals, drinks and dessert works out at £13.50 pp

My child is in a wheelchair and finding accessible cafes is not easy. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The food, omg it was so good. I had a breakfast and to say I enjoyed it is an understatement, it was one of the best I have had! If you are in Bognor and need food and drink, make sure you 'pop in' there!

Aldwick Beach Cafe is a delightful spot that captures the essence of seaside relaxation. Nestled right on the beachfront, it offers stunning views and a charming outdoor seating area where you can savor your meal while listening to the gentle waves. The cafe serves an array of delicious options, from hot meals to refreshing ice creams, making it perfect for any craving. Visitors have praised the friendly staff who enhance the welcoming atmosphere.
Absolutely beautiful place to enjoy a hot drink and relax on the sea front. They do hot food, chilled food, cold drinks and hot and they also do ice cream. The seating is right on the sea front with amazing views but be aware there is only outside seating, no indoor seating. Wifi is also available here and the staff are really nice, friendly and helpful. One of the best cafes I've ever visited.
Chris S — Google review
Nice place to grab a drink/fish&chips and look at the sea. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Right on the beach front with seating. 9 large picnics benches on wooden decking. Great choice of food and it tasted great too.
Coral H — Google review
Looks like it would be nice if it was open. We waited until midday on a lovely sunny summer holidays day, but no show. They haven't posted on their Facebook page since 2022 under the previous ownership. If you're not going to open you should at least post something on social media to let people know to go elsewhere.

Beautiful chips…. and view of the sea from this little cafe. Easy parking right by the cafe on the main sea road. Will definitely visit again.
Zoe L — Google review
Annoyingly inaccurate opening times. Website says 5.30 on a Sunday. Glorious day walking along marine gardens and beach at 3.00 cafe closed. This isn’t the first time I’ve gone to find it closed. Understandable on a foul day but when it’s glorious and sunny this cafes loss is West Park cafes gain every time we end up there instead. Customers stop coming when opening hours cannot be trusted.

Coastal Coffee Co - Bognor is a charming haven for coffee lovers and foodies, perfectly situated to offer breathtaking sea views. This delightful café combines a warm atmosphere with an impressive menu that caters to various dietary preferences, featuring gluten-free and vegan delights. Patrons rave about the robust and flavorful coffee, while the baked treats like gluten-free brownies and vegan lemon cakes are celebrated for their exquisite taste and presentation.
Such a wonderful place. The staff is absolutely amazing. Every single one. We have gone several times during our time in Bognor Regis and never had a bad visit. Coffee is delicious, food is great and they even have many gluten free options and they understand about the food safety and cross contamination. It is also very kid friendly and dog friendly. :)

"I absolutely love this café! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, perfect for an afternoon coffee. The service is always friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The coffee is delicious—rich and smooth, with just the right balance of flavor. Their cakes and desserts are not only tasty but also beautifully presented. . I highly recommend this place for a peaceful break with a book or a catch-up with friends!"

My favourite place in town! Super cosy, amazing food (breakfast, lunch, cakes - everything!) and THE BEST coffee. Lovely atmosphere with option of enjoying it inside and outside. Staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. Couldn’t recommend it enough 😊
Karolina J — Google review
Love this place. It’s expanded it menu over the last couple of years so tried the breakfast this year which was very good - although if poached egg is the only cooking option, they should really learn how to poach rather than use the moulds. Stocks seemed to be a problem on the day we were there with people served after us being disappointed due items that had run out at 10am. But great food otherwise especially the porridge. Lovely atmosphere, views of the sea and pleasant staff. Cakes are always great.

Warm welcome from staff and we managed to sit over looking the pier and the sea Cakes looked amazing but we had to choose only one each, my wife had the coffee and walnut and I had the vegan cherry shortbread, now I'm not a vegan but to tell you the truth i I think it tasted better than the normal shortbread.Coffee good, strong and hot. Would highly recommend

Nice to see a place like this in a little seaside town! Fantastic vegan lemon cake and the coffees were better than a lot of coffee I’ve had in london! Made with care and well presented. I’d love to go back and check it out in the evening and see what vegan food they may do and watch the ocean. Fantastic location and friendly staff, coffee arrived in good time.

Sainsbury's Café is a delightful spot that offers a serene atmosphere, perfect for families and friends alike. With its lovely views of gliders soaring above the airfield, it’s an ideal place to enjoy a meal. The café is known for its fantastic food, particularly breakfast options that are always served hot and with care. Customers rave about the friendly and professional staff who greet everyone with warm smiles, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Absolutely wonderful café, I take my two young girls and the atmosphere is always calm, and its food with a view watching the gliders fly ... from the air field ... food is always fantastic, customer service is superb always greeted with a smile, friendly, professional, and never get it wrong !.. its clean, and the food is wonderful, we mostly go for breakfast which is always hot and served with care !.. Any other reviews that say its bad is completely wrong !.. best supermarket café I've ever been to ! We love it! So a huge thank you to all the café staff at Sainsbury's your wonderful and appreciated.. :))
Lisa M — Google review
Whenever we shop at Sainsbury's we always go to the cafe before we shop, as do many other shoppers. It has a pleasant outlook, friendly staff and reasonable food, reasonably priced. It's a sad indictment on Sainsbury's management and bosses who have decided that the cafes should close. If stars were being given out for them they would get none. Have just been reading an article on line from the Sun showing why Sainsbury's bosses are closing the cafes. It includes a line suggesting that a certain Prerana Issaf, Sainsbury's chief people officer, has said that "Customers going to the cafe are not the customers shopping in our stores." I don't think so and resent that remark. You've got that wrong. I think many people who use the cafe are, also, there to shop. In response to this we will not be as regular customers to Sainsbury's BECAUSE YOU'VE CLOSED THE CAFE. Bad form Sainsbury's.

Took several minutes for someone to actually serve us, all out the back chatting and laughing, nice to see work colleagues getting on but not at the expense of customers queuing! Good was appalling reheated breakfast and totally substandard quality, never again would I eat here!

Food was cold.the one bacon was shockingly small mug of tea was one pound 80 pence and the 1 sausage was small well over price at. 6 pounds eight. .

I'm a carer out with a client, we had coffee, cake, yoghurt and ordered soup and roll, My client had finished her lunch and we had finished coffees still no soup , 25 mins later I had to get my client back ,so I asked if I could have it in a take away as it's taken so long, I still waited, again no soup ,so I had to get refund ,yes I got money back but not worth the hassle ,so many people were at the counter with the self same complaint , Sainsburys if you can't deliver in a timely fashion ,don't take the money
S G — Google review
Very disappointing. Long wait for food and when it arrived was very underwhelming. Both vegetarian and meat breakfast was served luke warm and food can only be described as watery and not tasty. Mushrooms and tomatoes, zero taste but very watery. Veggie sausage and meat sausage very pale and bland. Tasteless bacon. Baked beans ok, just not very warm. Toast already buttered which would be nice if served soon after but this was not the case so very soggy. Eggs snotty in places overcooked in others....no idea how they managed that!! Drinks didn't arrive and when questioned we were told we'd been called 4 TIMES to collect them. We hadn't been told we needed to collect our drinks and nor did we hear the alleged 4 calls! Why not tell us when ordering what the expectation is?? £15 for 2 breakfasts and drinks but sadly can't recommend or say we'd return.
Sharon R — Google review
Visited this cafe in Rustington 2 or 3 years ago when it was taken over by a private company. We otdered jacket potatoes. When they came out they were almost cold. We sent them back. This happened 3 times, each time coming out almost cold and inedible. The cafe manager wasn't bothered, so we got our money back and haven't been back since. I hope no one got food poisoning from this store..
Bob R — Google review
So have been here a few times and everytime they get the breakfasts wrong, this time the girl at the til put in wrong so we got the wrong food. Can understand if it's busy but we were the only people at the till. And when it came back out the toast was clearly not fresh as had egg yoke on it and wasn't anywhere near the eggs on my plate, very disappointed
