Staročeská restaurace V Ruthardce is a stylish medieval restaurant located in Kutna Hora, Czech Republic. It's known for its great menu featuring delicious Czech and European dishes. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with the option to sit near the fireplace during winter or enjoy outside seating in the summer, providing a garden-like ambiance.
Very delicious food with amazing view and good price! I strongly recommend this place ! I celebrated my birthday here and it was incredible! I recommend the beef ribs in beer and the sherbet dessert!

Peaceful garden setting overlooking the nearby forest with views to the cathedral. Menu is reasonably broad with both Czech and English options. Food was sumptuous with good quantities, and service was attentive and friendly. Good value for money.
Chris E — Google review
Considering is one of the few places with a decent level of food, the only issue was the "timing" proposed by the waitress for waiting a table be available (from the 40 min she warning us, become 5 min) and the delivery time of the food from the ordering (25 min instead of the 40 min proposed). For the rest was according the expectation and the average ratio of the location (which I do believe should be not more than 4.5, but still top in Kutna Hora).
Houman T — Google review
An attractive location with typical Czech meals, that are not always available in Czech restaurants, but still classic one. That the reason for 5 stars for meals. If not, meal taste is good, with no surprises. If you are lucky and get a nice spot on the terrace, you will have a beautiful view on St.Barbara. Enjoy the place!
Sergej M — Google review
Had their mushroom ragout with potato dumplings and spinach. The dumplings were the kind of dumplings I was hoping for: buttery, savoury and soft. Rest of the meal, espacially the mushroom mixture paired well it. For drink they served me a řežane beer, which is dark beer poured over a normal beer. Can definitely recommend. Had nice outdoor seating with a nice view. Menu was in English as well, short to no waiting. Took about 15 minutes to serve after ordering
Sander V — Google review
The services and food was great. Really local Czech dishes . Love the goulash with the dumplings. The dumplings came in many form so I am glad to have tried it . Would return again next time

Restaurant
Restaurace Dačický is a renowned dining spot in Kutna Hora, just a short stroll from St. Barbara's Cathedral. The restaurant is named after Mikulas Dacicky, a historical figure known for his love of wine, beer, and food. It offers an extensive menu featuring Czech, Central, and Eastern European dishes with a touch of European influence.
What an awesome restaurant, and this was the best meal in Czechia. Everything was cooked to perfection and everything was so delicious!!! Too bad i came to this town for a day. Otherwise, I’d come here every day!! We tried venison, mushroom soup, chicken schnitzel, and mushroom raugaut. Delicious!! It also looks like a castle. Can't wait to come back.
Ellen S — Google review
The restaurant has a good atmosphere, it’s very nice decorated. The waiters and waitresses are nice, the food takes a bit but it was full, so it’s okay. Both of us had a burger and the burgers were okay but not outstandingly good or so. Average burgers but a big portion size. If you’re hungry… it definitely is enough.
Hyperion A — Google review
We came in without having a reservation and as it was early (a bit before noon) they were so kind to have us. The team is really nice and friendly, they gave us really good recommendations for the food and it was amazing. The portions are huge, we had only one dish each with a drink and sadly no more space for an apple strudel (which seemed delicious). We also have loved the old inn, medieval vibes, as "the Prancing Pony" in LOTR. We almost expected to meet Hobbits or maybe a Witcher resting in a corner. It was a great experience and the food was so warm and comforting while it was raining a lot outside. We highly recommend this place. Oh and it was a great price too, less than 30€ for both of us. Thank you Team!

We really enjoyed our visit here😊The atmosphere was so cozy and full of good vibes, and the food was absolutely delicious👌Everything was well prepared and nicely served. Definitely one of the best spots to enjoy local cuisine in Kutna Hora👌😊

Absolutely amazing, authentic Czech food. The plum sauce with deer meat is absolutely amazing. The dumplings with goulash are also the best I have ever tried! Will definitely return!
Phone S — Google review
Went to this restaurant due to the good reviews on Google and trust pilot. The decorations inside the restaurant gave it a medieval vibe which was lovely. The restaurant was completely empty inside, besides from us and only 2/3 couples/groups sat outside. We did visit in early September which is off season for the area. We were served by a waitress who wasn't very welcoming, but we didn't mind this as long as the food was good. We ordered the goulash and the strudel. The goulash was very tasty and a very large portion size, I could not finish it. Whilst eating our mains, I noticed one of the other waitresses blowing her nose frequently and never washing her hands. This made me feel uneasy, but as it wasn't our waitress I wasn't overly concerned. The strudel came on a piping hot plate and looked like it had been microwaved (had dried out in certain areas), which was disappointing. The strudel tasted okay but the texture wasn't great. I finished mine, but my partner could not finish his. For drinks, my partner ordered the Kutna Hora beer on tap, which he liked. I ordered a raspberry lemonade and the alchohol free fruit beer. The fruit beer was lovely, but the raspberry lemonade didn't taste of anything. Overall the meal was tasty and had very large servings and most of the drinks were great. However, the next morning, myself and my partner had upset stomachs (pain and diarrhea). This meal was the only food we'd eaten that was the same, so it was likely due to this meal, but we obviously can't be 100% sure. My partner felt better after a day, but I am still suffering with stomach pains, nausea and diarrhea nearly a week after this meal. It was a bad end to our trip as this was the last meal of our holiday, and likely made us unwell on the day of flying home. If I could go back in time, I would have chosen to eat somewhere else.
Rebecca O — Google review
Incredible food and drinks. One of the highlights of our trip to Czechia. Eating and drinking in the courtyard was such a pleasant experience. We enjoyed our time spent at Dacicky and already miss the food from here. Would revisit Kutna Hora just for Dacicky!
Vikrant A — Google review
I've been a couple of times over a couple years, and was delighted each time. The ginger dumplings, the boar, the dill beef, all great. Delicious beer, and non-alcoholic fruit beer. All in a great atmosphere inside and out, with medieval history and some love music sometimes.

With multilingual menus accessible via QR code, friendly staff, and a pleasant terrace in the back, it's an inviting spot to savor delicious food and drinks.
Amazing and phenomenal. We ordered the duck breast, pastas, the prosciutto pizza, and the pork tenderloin. Everything tasted home made and are well flavored. Very happy, exceptional for the price, and would 10/10 recommend :)

Love the homemade pizza and pasta with shrimps! The burger ordered by other guests looks delicious too. Very nice place, card payment possible, English menu can be read online.

10/10 for Factory Bistro Staff were friendly & efficient(also speak fluent Czech & English) Carbonara is authentic & delicious Pizza was on point Really good burger & chips Full credit to the chef, staff & owner of the restaurant - we had a great experience here. Exellent location right outside the bus stop(there is a direct route from the train station).
Sam M — Google review
My personal and very surprising highlight in Kutná Hora... freshly made spaghetti carbonara and a chicken burger, which couldn't have been much better. Not to mention nerdy KCD beer — what more could you want? Everything was perfect, and the service was extremely friendly. A must-visit in Kutna Hora! Sry didn't take pictures...
N T — Google review
After visiting the Sedlec ossuary church, it was the perfect place to have lunch in. Easily accessible and very cosy. We ordered the Mozarella Pomodoro pasta, the Carbonara, the chicken burger and the no.4 burger and they were all incredible portions for the price. The food was flavorfull, with a great texture served by the incredibly friendly and smily staff. It is a wonderful spot and an excellent place to stop at for a great lunch.
Jean-Paul E — Google review
We both sat in and ordered from this place. All 3 nights we were in Kutna Hora we ate here as we enjoyed the food so much. We had pasta one night that was to die for and we also had pork tenderloin twice. The meat was cooked to perfection and the sauce was paired with it perfectly.
Kara B — Google review
Very nice burger No 2, really liked the onion, the sauce and especially the medium cooked beef as I ordered. The French fries on the side were excellent and the dip fit them very good. Staff was welcoming and nice

Restaurant
Restaurace Barbora is a modern restaurant offering spectacular views of the St. Barbara Cathedral. The menu features famous traditional Czech meals such as Duck Confit with Potato Dumplings and Red Cabbage. The restaurant also provides event hosting services and makes its own bread and desserts. Visitors have praised the fast service, helpful staff, and delicious food, despite some finding it slightly bland. It's a great spot to enjoy a warm meal after visiting the nearby church while taking in the magnificent view.
Lovely meal with friends overlooking the illuminated Saint Barbara Cathedral. Food good, excellent salmon starter but my main Goat’s cheese salad a little uninspired. Superb Pilsner! Really good. They look after it & pour faultlessly. Service good. Interior dreadful and too bright. Sort of basic cafe - bistro or ice cream parlour and should be softer more intimate on the eye. Outside terrace must be great during summer months.
Leigh D — Google review
Lovely restaurant in a very good location and despite that fair prices. The food was nice and we got big portions. The waiters were kind, just a bit slower than what the amount of guests would suggest.
Zsolt S — Google review
Beautifully located next to Saint Barbara Cathedral, this restaurant serves some of the most delicious Czech food, especially the chicken breast dish. Highly recommended when you have a day tour to Kutna Hora
Hong P — Google review
A really cozy place, we went to have a bite after visiting saint Barbara church, it's so warm inside, there is a daily menu for each day of the week, I had mushroom potato soap which was amazing, rich flavour and savory, then we had like stew that had cheese with smashed potatoes and gravy brown sauce, was also so delicious and savory, beer was good too, prices are really good, service is good and fast
M A — Google review
The food is great, but not the biggest portions. But when seated at the table we did not get new utensils and napkins so we had to grab it from another table. The male waitress was very friendly and professional.

Restaurant
Čtyři sestry - zahradní restaurace is a charming eatery run by a father and his four daughters, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant features both vegan and non-vegan options at reasonable prices. Guests can enjoy the extensive variety of homemade lemonades while sitting outside in the spacious garden area, which also includes a sandbox for children to play in. Additionally, the restaurant is dog-friendly and accepts card payments.
My boyfriend and I had dinner at "Čtyři sestry" and we loved everything about it. We both eat plant-based, so we were very happy to find a delicious vegan option (in the picture). It was sweet potato with a tofu cream, tempeh, cashews, arugula and balsamic vinegar. We wanted to try the vegan brownie, but it was sold out. The place looked elegant and the waitresses were kind. Hopefully, they will add more vegan options to the menu to choose from, but the one we had was absolutely perfect!

We two had lunch on the outside patio on a sunny Sunday. SERVICE: 4.5. The servers were positive and helpful, despite our lack of Czech language ability. AMBIENCE: 4.0. It was pleasant to sit outside with a pretty view of a landscape under a blue sky with white clouds. FOOD: 4.0. - 4.5: Venison Ragout. - 4.0: Octopus

The restaurant is beautiful with and outer garden and amazing and chill music. The food is absolutely delicious, so much I had to compliment the chest. The staff was wonderful too! I can't muster up a single complaint about this site, the pork loin was utterly delicious 🔥 and the potato bed was perfect. I also recommend the craft beer and the rhubarb soft drink!
Rafael P — Google review
Stopped here for lunch and it was the best meal I had during four days in the Czech Republic. The space is beautiful and bright with lots of plants. I had the tilapia with root vegetables - the fish was perfectly cooked and so flavourful. My brother was equally impressed with the baked pasta. And we couldn’t believe how low the prices were for the quality of food. If we had stayed longer in Kutná Hora we definitely would have dined here again.
Geoff C — Google review
Amazing mains and surprisingly really cheap wine. We tried 5 different main options with different meats and was blown away by the variety in flavour and how well prepared the food was. Felt more like a 4 or 5 star location with local prices. I would think twice about the non-alcoholic drinks but that’s fairly a usually thing for places in Czechia. So if you enjoy other places you would here but if you’re spoilt by international standards then we would advise to go for their local wines. Very considerate service. As most of us only spoke English and we were in a rural part of Czechia we didn’t exactly such a great service, but they went above and beyond.
Pictures V — Google review
OMG. What a taste. I loved my vegan dish. The grilled mozzarella was also very good. Lovely place which I could only recommend. Czech white wine also very tasty.
Magda M — Google review
I had a delicious lunch with a good sized portion. Plenty of options to choose from, including lots of weekend specials. The interior and atmosphere were very cozy, even despite it being jammed packed during lunch hours on a Saturday.
Ondřej ( — Google review
We came in after 20 o’clock and grabbed a sweet place in garden with great view. Unfortunately, the personal ignored us and let us waiting for almost half an hour. Then we were informed (by a chef?) that the warm kitchen had already closed. She could have told us that before(!) she let us choose the main dishes. Even though the pictures looked really nice online, we won’t come again, sadly.

Na Pašince is a restaurant located in Kank near Kutna Hora, offering a blend of modern and classic Czech cuisine with a wide selection of wines from the archive cellar. The place has a long tradition and provides an authentic Czech dining experience in a cozy setting. Despite limited vegetarian options, visitors praise the great food and quick service. The restaurant's welcoming atmosphere makes it suitable for families, as even noisy children are kindly addressed by the staff.
Fantastic! This is classic Czech pub with super tasty and home made like meals. If you are visiting Kutna Hora by car come for lunch here. You won't regret it. Although make a reservation during weekends. Thank you guys and Mr Kopecky! Great job!
Radka S — Google review
Visually, a typical Czech beer point serving modern Czech food, but the vibe of the place is cold. We stopped for breakfast and were not really amazed by the food. The Benedict eggs were sour, and the scrambled eggs were dry, which is a pity as we were the only guests. We will try this place for lunch as the menu looks interesting. Parking is in front of the place.

Our family enjoyed our lunch at Na Pašince and the kids love the childrens menu and the adult dishes were also satisfying. The outdoor area was perfect for sunny day
Kristýna K — Google review
What a great experience! We had the pre-fix option near the top of the menu. We chose this because there were no menus in English. It didn't matter to us...I asked for help with the menu and our server helped us out! We were visiting a UNESCO world heritage site nearby and this restaurant had the best reviews! We were not disappointed! A must visit!
Kenneth R — Google review
I love to come here for home style cooking and once in a while unusual contemporary combinations. I am in Kutná Hora once a year for couple of weeks and I manage 3-5 visits. I recommend old time Czech sweet dishes like fruit dumplings or a bread pudding that are like your mom used to make (if your mom could cook😂). This year I was lucky to have a venison with side dish I have never had before and forgot the name of. It was delicious. I hope I will be lucky and make it back next year. The staff is friendly and you never wait too long for anything.
Katerina K — Google review
I pleased to recommend this restaurant. I go there for many years and I have been always satisfied. They prepare about 10 main courses for lunch, which are from Czech and international cousin. Please check their opening hours before and be prepared that there is always many people during lunch hours.

Kozlovna Barborský dvůr is a popular spot with a friendly staff and quick service, even during busy times. The food receives high praise, particularly the salmon tart with avocado, Caprese burger, and tagliatelle with salmon. Additionally, the Turkish coffee is recommended for its delicious flavor. Visitors also appreciate the reasonable prices for both food and drinks. The atmosphere is described as lovely, making it a great option for lunch or dinner.
A week ago, our whole family of four visited Kutná Hora. We enjoyed it very much. We were treated poorly by the staff at a neighbouring restaurant. But thanks to that, we found and visited this restaurant here, "Kozlovna Barborský dvůr," where we had a delicious lunch and received quick and pleasant service from the waitresses. The coffee and dessert were delicious. We are delighted and highly recommend this restaurant. By the way, I'll mention that our lunch bill was very reasonable. It was tasty, pleasant, and attractively priced. Thank you. If we ever revisit Kutná Hora, we will revisit this restaurant.
Paweł K — Google review
The establishment is quite pleasant, and the service and food are both of high quality, with more than generous portions. The only suggestion for improvement would be the installation of air conditioning during the summer months, as the open windows to alleviate the heat did attract some flies near the food and drinks, though this is an understandable consequence of the circumstances. Nevertheless, air conditioning may help mitigate this issue.
Jiri V — Google review
This is a special day, because it was black out in a lot of the cities in Czech, it also affect this small town. Without electricity, some shops cannot provide food, and all of them cannot accept credit card payment! What a special day! But I manage to get some good food in this restaurant, although there is only Cezch menu. But it doesn’t matter, I just look at what other people are eating. And I found that I m eating some beef with some kind of pancake. It is delicious. The beef is tender and the gravy is delicious. Highly recommended. The manager calmly accepted my Euro for the payment 👍👍
Andy C — Google review
I enjoy my cheeseburger here, meat is well flavoured, veggies is fresh, fries are great! Great services as well, thank you Team!
Kev C — Google review
We were there with our family today. We're giving it a well-deserved one star. We'll caption this review with the waitress's words: "That's not my problem." Our waitress didn't speak English, and as luck would have it, we had to ask for gluten- and lactose-free food. Ultimately, we were given one of the dishes we hadn't ordered because the waitress didn't understand us. How did the restaurant handle this? "That's not my problem." I didn't bother asking for the tea I ordered. We know we're not the easiest customers, but the service was embarrassingly poor. The very positive reviews from others are somewhat surprising. Our dishes were truly substandard. We don't recommend it; it was a disappointing experience.
Mariusz S — Google review
Unfriendly is an mild expression. Waited 10 minutes to be noticed, asked about a specific food we saw was available a few days ago (based on the photos on google maps), we recieved a strange grimace, no further explanation or other suggestion. Menu is only in czech, seems they dont want foreigners to eat there. We left and had a great meal a corner away.
Eszter S — Google review
We came here for lunch — and it turned out to be one of the most unpleasant dining experiences ever. The waiters were rude and arrogant, showing outright racist behavior, as if they were doing us a favor just by coming to the table. It felt like they immediately assumed we were from Russia (but we are not 🤦‍♂️) and therefore thought it was acceptable to be disrespectful and condescending. Instead of proper service, we got humiliation. The food itself was actually very tasty, but what’s the point if the whole lunch was ruined by such a disgusting atmosphere? I would not recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t want their mood spoiled.
Alex P — Google review
The waiter was very rude, and even if we speak perfect English he told us "No English, Czech only" in a very impolite manner. I would avoid this place since they are straight up against foreigners.

Delicious czech food, nice service. Our waiter didn't speak English but he tries to communicate with us still. Everyone was nice. The location is beautiful with medieval style. We want to come back during the summer.

Nice medieval restaurant with daily menu at weekend. Servants were nice and polite, but little bit of smile was missing. Meals were quite big and we were leaving really full. Taste was nice and mainly sauces were really well made.
Andrej K — Google review
The food was excellent - the meat very tender and high quality (could have been a bit more meat though). Really tasty 😋 and friendly service 👍🏼. Thank you. Oh, and the price was very, very good - fabulous price for the quality!
Kevin S — Google review
Since i was staying at the hotel, I was excited the restaurant was rated 4.5 stars. The rating was the best part of my experience. The service was curt at best (which I don't really factor much in my overall rating), and the food was just bad. I left most of my plate and walked to a local store to get some snacks for the evening. I ordered the duck and had to stop a couple times to make sure what I was chewing was not bone. Note that the restaurant was crowded, so I could have just had bad luck. But I felt obligated to provide a differing perspective from the top ranks that led me there.

Had the beef broth with liver dumplings, broth was light and fragrant and liver was very mild. Also had the local goulash with meat dumplings. The sauce gravy for the dumplings was delicious. The sauna at the hotel is also very nice and relaxing.

Food was good and tasted homemade. Nothing crazy but still tasty. The restaurant has a medieval times room with fun decor. We got the duck and dumplings and the mushroom pasta and we’re happy with it.

Located behind St. James's Church, Restaurant Café HARMONIA is a convenient stop before visiting the Bone Church. The menu offers hot and cold meals, including Czech specialties, fish, poultry, pork and beef steaks, pasta and salads. The restaurant also focuses on desserts, coffee, beer and wine. Visitors praise the fresh salads and hearty soups as well as the good service. The outdoor terrace with cool music is particularly recommended for enjoying delicious traditional Czech cuisine at reasonable prices.
Mexican cuisine on the menu, it was fantastic. The amount and quality of the food was great for the price. The outdoor patio is outstanding with nice music, greenery, and a great view.

❌Staff asked for a tip when paying. Tips will always be offered if service is deserving but asking for one is just rude. ❌ Took over 15 minutes to have drinks and food ordered. It was not busy at all. Food arrived quickly, most were good. Some dishes were better than others. ❌Took another 15 minutes for the bill, and staff still didn't bring the bill so had to go inside to pay. Limited vegetarian and no vegan dishes. Prices were more expensive than Prague. Outdoor garden seating with plenty of shade. Has upstairs outdoor seating. Located in a nice area just down from the castle and cathedral.

Lovely beer garden if the weather is good. They had Małesow and Kutna Hora beer on as well as some others. The ladies were very welcoming, and looked after us well. We went back several times as it was close to the apartment, and I really liked the place..
Nick F — Google review
During our visit to Kutná Hora, we had the opportunity to dine at the "Harmonia" restaurant. Although the staff was polite and welcoming, the service was quite slow. The menu, moreover, left us a bit disappointed, as it offered few options and did not reflect the traditional Czech cuisine. Personally, I ordered a dish of couscous with chicken, which is not typical of Czech cuisine. The prices also seemed a bit high to us, especially considering that a soup (polevka) cost 100 Czech koruna, an excessive price compared to the average price in Prague, which is about half. In summary, I would recommend this restaurant only as a last choice. Although the staff was cordial, the slow service and limited, non-traditional menu did not make our experience particularly positive.

A very tasteful combination of pork ribs with house made barbeque sauce, horseradish, mustard and a very good bread. The best barbeque sauce I've ever had. A large portion!
Yindra S — Google review
Very tasty food with affordable prices. The dishes quite big so we toke one for the two person and was satisfied in the end.

We did not end up eating here - waited for the waitress to take our orders for too long. She was also very unpleasant from the beginning. If you charge that much for the dish, at least teach your staff to be friendly. The location is great though, such a shame.
Anna S — Google review
Rude people, don't waste your time. I asked for a seat outside and offered to wait, the woman said no and said I have to sit inside. Meanwhile, other parties behind us just sat themselves in outdoor seating and were served. I would point out the other parties are white and I'm not.

Restaurant
Hostinec U Černého kohouta is an old Bohemian restaurant located in the historical center of the city. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, and excellent food. Guests can also enjoy seating in the garden. The establishment has received positive feedback for its friendly service and delicious food, with particular highlights being the juicy zebra meat and Kutna Hora beer.
I should start by saying I’m not Czech but my girlfriend and her friend (our friend) are, so they brought me to this place that they’ve never been before as well and they had no expectations but believed this would be a good one, man they were so right, these 2 girls nailed it. It was a very nice experience overall, atmosphere was great, the service was outstanding, I mention this because even if I was doing my best to speak the very little Czech that I know to order stuff, I was butchering the language 😝 but the woman was super nice and comprehensive that made me feel welcome and appreciated; the culinary experience was simply amazing, I had deer goulash and it was just out of this world, I shared it with my gf and she shared her “Vepřová Krkovice” which also left me out of words, simply great, then my friend shared her “vepřová panenka” and same thing, simply delicious, oh and their local beer is just 🤤. On top of that, they have very reasonable prices for everything. If you visit Kutná Hora, you must try this place 100%. Thank you for the good times 🙏🏼
Danny C — Google review
The owner was super nice, welcoming. The food was amazing and tastes very homemade. I like the decoration (medieval, knights) but the atmosphere could be a bit dark for day time dining. Price is super reasonable and relatively cheaper compared to other restaurants
Beau N — Google review
Perk activated, steak tartare, digestive potion (beer) highly recommended. Given the high quality of the meal the prices were excellent. I no longer feel quite hungry.
DAN L — Google review
If you want a cheap dinner, eat here. Cheap prices and cheap quality. What even was this brown salad? Greasy, soggy fries and the cheapest store bought knedliky you can get, the mains were edible, the sides disgusting. They do not accept cash which you'll only be informed about when you're about to pay.
Borbála B — Google review
Absolute disgrace. We arrived as a group (5person), they let us to sit down, then they gives us the menu. After we make the order, we waited 40 minutes, then the waitress said, what we ordered is not available today. Then we stayed after tbis long time, and make a second order, and during the process the waitress spilled out one of our Cappy drink, and she tried to clean it from the table, BUT she did not cleaned it from the floor, so it stayed there during the whole time. After when we make the second order she said "yes the prices are wrong on the menu its more expensive" but anyway we tried or best so we stayed. The food has been cooked, and the waitres who bringed out did not knew what we ordered, and they did not even had the list about the order. When we wanted to pay, they tried to figure it out what we ate because they lost the paper what they are using to check the orders (they doesn't even has computers) and then they tried to add +100 cz to the final price. They are not ready for anything and the place itself is retro, but this was the least problematic things. The food itself was far from the average. Due all respect I recomend to everyone to stay away from this place.
Hegedűs H — Google review
Very very good restaurant so far. The waitresses here were friendly and the food was delicious. Zebra meat was juicy, Kutna Hora beer is also worth trying. Moreover, this restaurant with a very exotic infrastructure, warm and cozy environment provides such a welcoming vibe that you don’t get anywhere in big, crowded cities of Europe. One minus point, cause they don't accept card payments

Restaurant
Pizzerie U Šneka Pohodáře is a small and cozy pizzeria in Kutna Hora, offering the best pizza in town according to many. The restaurant provides a wide variety of pizzas, allowing customers to choose their size and also offers pasta and drinks. Guests can enjoy their meal at outdoor tables. The prices are reasonable for the large selection of high-quality ingredients used in the pizzas. The staff is friendly, making it a pleasant dining experience overall.
In my opinion, this pizzeria offers the best pizza in Kutná Hora. The restaurant is small, but cozy. You can also eat in the fresh air at the tables outside. The service is nice. Prices are reasonable and the offer is large. The restaurant offers a large number of pizzas, for which you can also choose their size (small pizzas have different prices, but for large ones the price is the same for all types of pizza), pasta and drinks. I like to go here sometimes with friends. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went in and were ignored for a long time while they served other customers. When we finally tried to order from the English menu, the waiter told us the items were not available, pointed to the Czech menu, and walked away without helping us. I absolutely loved this hotel. Highly recommend and plan on going back.

Clean and big rooms, good location, satisfactory breakfast. Dinner worth a try, especially if you like the middle ages. Sauna a nice evening activity. Reminds me of a classic small town hotel. If you want to take a few days in Kuttenberg, because you have played KCD2 and are curious. This hotel is a good choice, and as a minimum I would eat a czech dinner here and look at the medieval decor. In a day you can walk to see most interesting places in Kuttenberg from the hotel :)

Thanks to Denisa our one night stay was amazing. We were here to visit Kutna Hora and the hotel is just a few minutes by feet from the Italian Court. As an American woman traveling alone I felt safe and great location. Food at restaurant was delicious. Spa amenities were very nice, although strange to me that I had to make reservation for hot tub or sauna and pay additional. Room was clean and never heard neighbors. I did request more than 1 towel, 1 pillow and 1 blanket (it’s late October) but was denied. In the morning, you will be greeted by a howling dog or rooster…I couldn’t really tell.

Comfortable, history-inspired experience with wellness. Overall we were very happy and enjoyed our time in the hotel. Our favourites were: The beer spa. The breakfast scrambled eggs with onion. The rooster waking us up in the morning. The friendly, quick working staff with a sense of humour. The tastefully "medieval" furnishing of the room. The "cut" beer (řezané), so skillfully tapped at the bar. There are small things that could be improved: The spa time has to be booked ahead, which is difficult to plan on a city vacation. The cleaning staff seems to miss a few spots, but overall the cleanliness was good. The spare ribs in the medieval tavern were dry and a very small portion - all other meals we had were tasty. There is an excellent coffee machine at the bar, yet the breakfast coffee comes out of a sad instant coffee thing next to it.

Super affordable and the food was very tasty. The menu is easy to translate it you use the Google lens app. The service was fast and the food didn't take too long to arrive. I had chicken in a paprika sauce with dumplings and it was perfect. It was a huge plate of food for only 150 koruna.

This is more of a local spot it seemed, as the menus were only in Czech. But the beer was good and the steak fairly decent. Nothing to write home about, but good nonetheless. The waiters were not overly friendly, but I got served as soon as I sat down.

Proximity to the bonechurch and the cathedral made this a perfect place to stop and plan the trip back. The bar and grill in Kutna Hora is a delightful establishment that offers a pleasant atmosphere for visitors from Germany and locals alike. It provides an opportunity to socialize with Czech people, making it an ideal place to experience the local culture. While the prices of their extensive range of rum may be slightly elevated, the venue remains welcoming and amiable. With excellent beer, delectable food options, and an attractive interior design, this establishment guarantees a satisfying experience for all patrons.
One of the few places to go to in Kutna Hora if you're interested in night-life. Weekends are the time you want to explore Kutna Hora at night and Guinness is one place where, everyone who's out will, eventually, stop by. The staff is awesome, restless, always nice and smiling, extraordinary customer experience. The place is a bit tight, split in three section (garden area - which holds the grill - fitting ~25 ppl, main bar area - is a narrow corridor ending with an open booth-like part that connects with the garden - fitting sometimes up to 40-45, making the place look like ridiculously packed and the 3rd section being one level below which is almost a club-like area with an around 20 customers). The clientele averages around mid-twenties, starting (almost always) with the majority being ladies, early in the evening and ending with majority guys, early in the morning. Wide-range beverages, including some basic cocktails, draft cider and special group drinks. Has a jukebox and always serves SOME (microwave) food. Smoking is allowed in the garden area and vaping is welcomed everywhere.

Warm, happy crowd with an old school Cheers vibe until you deal with the cranky barmaid who likes to overcharge non-Czechs. Ordered an Campari Spritz, see pic of advertised card she handed me with price of 110czk. See bill with charge of 125czk. Charged 15czk over advertised price. I chose to be a better person and still tip her 46czk even after catching the price inflation. Btw, booze only served, or so she said, no food/bar snacks. Visitor beware! Reply back**Prosim. That was the price sheet handed to me. The bartender did not say there was an increase in price, again, she was somewhat rude. Maybe having a bad night. I don't know. You are presumptuous yourself to assume I don't speak or understand Czech and that I haven't been to.CZ ever before. You're again wrong on that point. Update your price sheets. Restaurace Šance is a charming local pub that stands out with its simple and unpretentious atmosphere, offering a classic selection of local beers and coffee. The friendly and efficient service sets it apart from the more upscale establishments in the city. While not a full-fledged restaurant, it provides reasonably priced local beer and a small variety of snacks. Visitors can enjoy the laid-back vibe and lovely garden terrace during the summer months.
Very friendly service and relaxing chill atmosphere. 😎

Hotel Medinek Old Town is a reasonably priced accommodation option in the heart of town. The hotel offers a warm restaurant where guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast. Convenient amenities include a shuttle service to the train station. With its central location on the square, this straightforward hotel is within walking distance of everything. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, providing comfortable furnishings and views of the city centre.
Hotel is in the center of town, rooms were clean, also bathroom. There wasn’t a/c, but it wasn’t very hot in the room. Parking was possible right in front of the hotel. Staff was nice, food was ok. It corresponds 3 stars.
Sonya R — Google review
Great location, decent breakfast, not overly expensive. One very big downside; we found out in the morning that the shower in our room wasn't working. When I mentioned this at the reception I was offered to shower in a different room (too late) but otherwise it was shrugged off, no apology or discount. The staff must know about this issue, I am not the only one complaining about this!
Kees M — Google review
Lovely little hotel on the square. Our room was comfortable and a good size. Big plus was the separate toilet. Yay! Bath/shower was a bit tricky... not an easy in/out, however, we managed. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet with lots of lovely cheeses, cold meats, breads, donuts, scrambled eggs and hot dog sausages. Not my thing, but other guests enjoyed them. Parking was available and being in the center of the city was great. Kutna Hora is beautiful and worth visiting! Wear comfortable shoes, people. Walking is unavoidable.
Helena T — Google review
Situated exactly at the centre of this historic town, nice restaurent n decent rooms considering the size of the town. I visited in summers when the rooms used to become very hot in the late afternoon/evening and remember keeping the windows open until dark. All historic/scenic places are walkable from here, not to mention that you can cover them walking anyway.
Subhasis D — Google review
We changed rooms twice in one night. The shower was broken, so it was hard to take a shower. Staff sit in leather armchairs in the lobby. The cleaners sit in the hallways in the armchairs. Breakfast is bad. Mustard and ketchup are watered. The place is like a socialist film.
Péter E — Google review
I will absolutely stay at this hotel again! It's was perfect, but if I'm being reallllllllly picky (which I'm usually not) the only thing that bothered me was that there weren't any fans in the WC/shower, and there wasn't a shower curtain. That made it super steamy, hot, and humid on an already 90/30 degree day. BUT, the service was amazing, breakfast was great, beds were comfy, free and good WiFi, and the location is unbeatable. Richard checked us in and out, and was extremely helpful with recommendations and bus help!
Ellie F — Google review
The worst experience in this 8 days Czech trip. The room 303 does not have any window. It`s humanly impossible to sleep in that overheat condition. More important, we told the situation to the reception, the one on duty said "no English!" She really got attitude problem. We hardly slept yesterday night. What a misery!
Jack C — Google review
This was a great value stay. Located in the old downtown core, we got a clean, spacious room with lots of space for the provided crib and another bed for our toddler. The included breakfast was also very good.

5 stars for the view! Breathtaking. The food was terrible, but edible. You pay for the view.
Jess C — Google review
We tried the terrace restaurant on a nice day. The surrounding is great with view on the monastery and cathedral. They have a simple menu with simple dishes and low prices. The food also looks like it but in a good way. It tasted great. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a good lunch. Recommended.
Roeland H — Google review
The view was really great and beer was nice but eating their potato cakes with some mushrooms - or God knows what it was - served cold, in a pool of old oil, led to long-lasting diarrhea and two days of fever. Not what I've expected from my vacation. If you consider that other opinions also mention poor quality of their food, I think it would be the best and safest for you to just go there and drink beer or two with a beautiful sight in front of you.
Marek M — Google review
We came here for drinks and the view. Service was great, and the view was amazing. The first beer I ordered tasted sour. I sent it back, and got a good beer. I repeated this process with my second beer too. I don't know how often they clean the draught system, but I would guess the beer was souring in dirty lines. I expect better than this, especially in the Czech Republic.

We were there to grab a dinner. At first, there were only four normal dishes to choose from. They served us small portions, the food was not so good and really expensive (in comparison to the quality). Than we recieved bill and the final price was 710,- (no problem for three people). So we told 750,- is ok. We forgot to check the terminal, but you normally trust the waiter. We got to our car and at that time we found out, that they put on terminal 850,-. So they "robbed" us for 100,-. We will never come back. Shame on you.

Good place to stop by for a beer or two on your way back to the town. We haven't tried food but some people who were sitting close by ordered something and they were pleased, so you might give it a try as well. Beer 'Kytna Hora' in my opinion is nothing special, taste quite mediocree. Nice view from the terrace.

Miro Kebab is a popular spot located in Kutna Hora-Vnitrni Mesto, offering large and delicious kebabs. The restaurant is known for its huge and tasty durum kebabs, made with homemade tortillas prepared fresh daily by the friendly owner. Visitors appreciate the well-roasted spit meat and mixed salads that add a delightful dimension to the meal.
Large delicious kebabs and great owner make this a good find. Also they are open Sunday evening when many places are not. The kebabs here are huge and delicious. I ate here twice in my three day visit, getting durum (tortilla/lavash type kebabs) each time. I ate at the restaurant once and once got take away. The spit meat is very well roasted and crisped on the outside, the salads are mixed and add a nice deminsion. The woman running the restaurant is very friendly. I had no issues ordering in English. There are a few kebab spots for me but this one stood out. Lots of local people came in while I was there so it is known in the area too. Durum at 95 was a good value as it was gigantic!

Wonderful experience. Service was excellent, atmosphere good and food was delicious. I had the Svíčková, which my wife said was the best she has had, my kids liked it so much we ordered them one each and that was after they had already eaten. Hindicka is an Indian restaurant located in Kutna Hora, offering traditional and authentic Indian cuisine with rich flavors and delightful dishes. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant surprises diners with its top-notch Indian food, making it a hidden gem in the heart of middle Europe. While the decor may seem a bit old-fashioned and initial impressions of the service might not be perfect, visitors are treated to generous portions of delicious food once they look past these minor drawbacks.
One of the best vegetarian experiences in Europe. The chef Chetan is an experienced and well trained chef. Ambience is amazing. Food is great. Authentic Indian taste. Also they don’t put egg in Breads (I don’t eat egg) . Dal makhani is a must try… Must try the restaurant and thank me later 😊

The food is authentic and amazing. Must tru the garlic Naan and chicken briyani, the pork Tikka masala is wonderful
Edward T — Google review
The service was very friendly and the dishes had genuine Indian flavors – the mango lassi was good, too. The downside was the price-to-portion balance: the dish we tried was the Most Expensive meal we’ve had in the Czech Republic during the past two weeks, yet also the SMALLEST. Rice wasn’t included and needed to be ordered separately, even in a mini size. For the same price you could enjoy 2 or even 3 Full Meals at other restaurants nearby.
S J — Google review
The food was average at the best. Lamb Vandalo looked nothing like in the menu and tested average also. Lassi was quite good. Atmosphere did not match the vibes. Owner however was quite friendly

Amazing Vietnamese food. A gem providing true Asian flavors in Czech. The joint is run by the sweetest mother and son pair. We loved - Thai soup with shrimp: tasted as authentic as Tom Yam from Bangkok - Peking soup: which is a hot and sour soup - pho beef: delicious soup and beef - bun no bam: fresh veggies with light noodles - fried spring rolls - fresh spring rolls They also had great vegan options as my father in law got tofu stir fry. Everything was so delicious I felt like I was transported back to Asia. Review by a Singaporean

No, my account was not sabotaged, whatever that may imply. The food was ok, but I must express my disappointment at the state of your restroom. There are no locks on the doors, it is exceedingly dirty, and it is devoid of basic necessities such as soap and paper. It was quite a gross condition.

(Translated by Google) In a word, TRAGEDY. In retrospect, I understand why it was empty while other restaurants were full. I really miss the adjective "Chinese". It has nothing to do with "China". No Asian owner, no Asian staff, no Chinese condiments, no familiar Asian restaurant dishes, no chopsticks... We ordered three dishes, two of which were duck. They brought what I would call a Leek Feast. Somewhere among the ton of leeks, the remains of something, which I don't even know if it was a duck, were lost. As a bonus, about half the portion of fries than one is used to from restaurants. Still, I would stand it if there was a "sorry, we apologize". But the waiter is only a carrier of the food, there is no point in drawing attention to anything, they do not solve your complaint with the kitchen, there is no effort to rectify it. I visit restaurants daily, but this is the first one worth reviewing. (Original) Jedním slovem TRAGÉDI. Zpětně chápu, proč zde bylo prázdno, zatímco v jiných restauracích plno. Popravdě mi uniká přívlastek "čínská". S "čínou" to nemá nic společného.

Smama Restaurace offers a variety of Asian dishes that have left many visitors satisfied. The poke bowl salmon and Peking duck are particularly popular, with diners praising the great taste and delicious flavors. The restaurant's clean and pleasant space, along with polite and accommodating staff, make for a welcoming dining experience. While some patrons found the service to be lacking in warmth or efficiency at times, others appreciated the English-speaking and friendly personnel.
We had a very nice meal with Peking duck and fresh sushi. Great taste. Very polite people and great service. Also the decoration and the seats of the restaurant are nice. Absolutely recommended. Greetings from Holland.

We had a poke bowl salmon that was tasting amazing. And a fried rice nudles with chicken that was okay. Over all food for us was good, they prepared it quickly but the service could be better. I was packing my own food to the plastic bag and the lady was very passive with her words.

LH Hotel Mědínek Old Town is a budget-friendly accommodation option located in the heart of the city, offering convenient parking and comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms. Some rooms provide pleasant views over the town. Guests can enjoy an excellent buffet breakfast and wellness facilities at a great price-performance ratio. The hotel's central location makes it easy to explore the beautiful city and its attractions.
I ended up staying in this hotel unexpectedly - only to be pleasantly surprised! I see a lot of people complaining about the fact that the hotel is dated - but you can see from the outside that this isn’t a contemporary building and looks like a typical modernist building so what are you expecting? Fortunately (or unfortunately), Czech architecture has been influenced by modernism and we just can’t deny history. You also wouldn’t expect an ultra modern hotel at the very heart of a historic downtown of Kutna Hora. This is a very spacious hotel with comfortable rooms, lovely view from the balcony and amazing staff. Czech people are known for being rude (sorry for being that honest) but the staff here were so lovely and helpful - always smiling and very professional.(Even people in Kutna Hora are generally very warm and nice people) I enjoyed the variety of food for breakfast and the quiet atmosphere in all the facilities. Also the lady serving breakfast made my day with her smile and attitude. (These things can really make someone’s day) I was also pleasantly surprised when I walked into my 1-person bedroom that had a separate WC and a separate bathroom, plus a balcony with a really nice view. All for a super affordable price. Had a lovely sleep, warm shower, lovely breakfast and a very positive experience. Unless you’re overly picky and always looking for faults, you will enjoy your stay here 😉

It was a little dated but bang in the centre. Wouldn't have looked out of place in a Van Der Valk episode the original not the remake. The bar wasn't open the three days we stayed, even getting back from Pardubice just after 8pm on Saturday evening. What was of more concern to us was the room we had. On two separate occasions the door had been locked by us before we left but we had to hand the key in at reception and we found the door ajar when we came back. Anyone could have walked inside as it was adjacent to the first floor stairs. It's a good job we took all our valuables with us but it wasn't a good feeling knowing someone had been in the room.
Stephen H — Google review
We have spent almost a week in this hotel. The location is very good. A lot of POI is in walking distance. The staffs are kind, friendly and helpful. However there is only 1 person in the reception for many guests, and phone calls. This could provide some waiting time sometimes. The problem with the place on our last day, there were many short power outages what led to there we did not have warm water in the rooms, for at least 24h. This could be a temporary technical issue, so maybe won't happen in the future, but we will never know. The bigger problem is the parking! We paid for a reserved parking place in the Hotel's park a lot, but regardless of the reserved sign when we left our spot we never get it back and caused a real headache to find another one. Even in the surrounding streets. I have to repeate, we PAID for a reserved parking service! This was my main reason for the 3 star! If you plan to come here by car, you better keep this in mind!

To warm room, no baby bed, no bath. No clima And this all was promised with our booking Also a cooling unit for our gifts from holland (cheese) was not there. We used the cooling in the kitchen for the cheese and in morning alot was gone from our bag... ir they forgot or they.... Also the price for this night was more than 2000czk. Never again. 3 years ago this was a good hotel

Staff is truly exceptional and awesome. If you read it - thank you so much for all the help. Building is a bit outdated - but it is still complete and working. You don't buy a cat in a bag - you see whats available and price is very affordable. For KCD2 fans - You can buy locally brewed beer labeled with KCD2 character (Capon/Godwin were available).

The hotel looks nice and it's clean but unfortunately it has a terrible smell. It smells mouldy and musty. Good location, close to a lot of good restaurants. The staff was very polite and professional. Also doesn't have regular showers but rather a bath tub with a shower.

Italian restaurant
Piazza Navona in Kutna Hora offers an authentic Italian dining experience that has gained popularity among both locals and tourists. Despite being located in a small Czech town, the restaurant serves up delicious Italian cuisine that rivals meals found in Italy itself. Visitors can expect a variety of dishes, including well-prepared rigatoni alla norcina and mouthwatering pizzas. The restaurant's friendly and efficient staff further enhance the overall dining experience.
Nice indoor very bright and outdoor big more subdued lighting seating. Bathrooms nice. Service great in English too. Vegetarian pizzas are wood oven, little light on flavor and salt, very Italian like, but the prices are incredible. Various spicier toppings like chili flakes and oil available.

Talha T — Google review
Me and my friend decided to have lunch at this restaurant, the view was beautiful and there was option to eat inside also. I was quite impressed how neat and cozy it felt inside when we went to pay. I ordered a carbonara pasta and my friend had lasagna. For drinks we got lemon water, the lemon water we could tell they didn’t put much effort in, they just threw in lemon slices to water. Maybe I’m being a bit skeptic about it, but it’s my opinion ! Now the food, my portion was quite big, but the pasta tasted old and stale ( like if you let dry pasta open for a long time) the sauce had nice color but the taste did not blow away, honestly I had better. The lasagna was okay. I would recommend pasta with tomato base sauces.
Dana T — Google review
Great pizzas and beer. The service was very quick. Staff members are not overly friendly but still professional. Ou can also sit outside on a good day and enjoy to the view of courtyard!

We were pleasantly surprised by this place! We were visiting Kutna Hora for the day, and wanted to branch out from Czech cuisine. Pasta sounded like the perfect lunch for us and we were not disappointed. The pasta we had was delicious and slightly al dente. The staff were friendly and it was definitely affordable. It also was a good opportunity to try Kutna Hora beer.
Kristy L — Google review
It was a delicious restaurant. The moment I entered the restaurant, I saw the Italian soccer team, Intel Milan, decorated with their goods. As a soccer fan, this was a exciting point for me. The price was reasonable considering that it is a tourist attraction. Also the pizza was very large.
Hny — Google review
We seated for untidy table, but no problem. Firstly the waitress told us ( not kindly - please, could you move.....) told us to sit on a table for 2, which i understand, but it would be a whole lot different if she would just politly ask. Then we ordered drinks and food. Then i kindly asked for a glass of tap water to have with my already ordered drink, and she refused to do that for me. Said that she can only sell me botteled water and that they dont do that here. I really think she would be able to do that, as they have drinkable water here. So i would not come here again, just beacuse of the rude attitude. Pizza was solid good for the money. Ketchup or anything to have with the pizza is to pay, which is loss, again. We managed to get grinder chilly and salt, which is way to salty, if u want a hot kick. So, there is a lot of room to get better, but overall good pizza for the money.
Eva L — Google review
I am Italian and I decided to came here for lunch as from the outside this place looked like it really was an authentic Italian restaurant and I was satisfied with my decision. I had rigatoni alla norcina and Segafredo coffee. The rigatoni were cooked the right way and very tasty and the coffee was good as well. The service was quick and the staff polite and efficient. Overall I enjoyed my lunch and even though this is a small Czech town the meal quality was very close (if not the same) to the Italian one. The only downside here is the restaurant itself. The place is in the city centre but the restaurant is small and there is little room between each table. That’s a pity but coming here is definitely worth it and I definitely recommend the place to any tourist who wants to try the Italian cuisine. If I happen to visit Kutná Hora in the future, I will probably come back.

Nestled in the heart of Kutna Hora, Cafe Lavande is a charming spot that perfectly blends old-world charm with modern culinary delights. As we settled in to discuss our afternoon plans before heading back to Prague, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Unlike other cafes nearby, this gem welcomed our furry friends without hesitation, making it an ideal choice for pet owners.
We originally tried Cafe Organzza across the square but they wouldn’t allow us in with our dogs which is practically unheard of in the Czech Republic. This place is a little but old-school but don’t let that out you off, the staff were friendly & the cakes, coffee, & tea were perfect. They even brought water for our dogs unprompted. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in Kutna Hora, 10/10.

Convenient location on the main square. Food was just fine, not great not terrible either. Inside it was dead silent though no music playing. Our waiter had a plus and a minus. On one hand, he was really fast and efficient but on the other really not nice and giving out a “don’t-talk-to-me vibe”. Overall it’s a place that won’t leave you in awe yet not disappointed either.

Nice outside eating are and generous portions! I had a "small bite" and it was a double decker sandwich and a plate of fries!
Jeff M — Google review
Unfortunately the food wasn’t great and the place stank of oil or fatty food cooking. They really needed to open some windows. Maybe it’s not always like this. The staff also spoke very loudly together near the kitchen and this didn’t make for such a pleasant visit. If you sit outside on a nice warm day and only want a drink and a small snack, maybe it’s wonderful!
Kevin S — Google review
Two waiters completely ruined our experience. When we arrived, one girl was constantly talking on her phone - while her colleague was still cleaning the area - and gave us no reaction. She approached our table with a poker face, didn’t bring menus, and muttered something about self-service in Czech. The second girl at least tried to look cheerful when she served us - so, thanks for that. After reading the latest reviews, we expected the place to be good. Apparently, either the staff aren’t paid enough or they simply don’t know how to work with guests. Worst human interaction I’ve ever had - and on top of that, they slapped on a 10% service charge. For what? Can anyone explain a single reason we should pay extra for that kind of behavior?

We stayed at Barbara for the Creepy Teepee festival and it was great! Even though some staff spoke little english, they were able to provide us with everything we needed and most importantly left us to our own business the whole time! It is brilliantly located too. The best part was, when on the morning of our checkout me and my friend missed the breakfast (we were exhausted from the night before) the manager insisted we have breakfast anyways and brought out coffee, sausages and eggs! Pancakes were delicious. Also had roasted duck. Both were superb. Wait staff very kind and spoke great English. Would highly recommend!!!

Had a beer here after visiting the cathedral in Kutna Hora. Sat in the beer garden with amazing views
John B — Google review
Magnus B — Google review

Hotel Opat is a charming four-star hotel located in the historic center of Kutna Hora. The hotel offers comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms, a down-to-earth restaurant, and free breakfast for guests. With its pleasant atmosphere and excellent cuisine, it provides a perfect accommodation option for travelers exploring the medieval past of the town. The spacious rooms offer a real historical feel, making guests feel like they've stepped back in time.
The building complex itself is from the 14th century, with affordably priced rooms, and an excellent location (around 5 minutes walk to the town square, and 5-7 minutes to St Barbara), and several bus stops nearby. Receptionist was also friendly and spoke good English, and the room I had was very clean and spacious. They were also very accommodating when I asked them in advance if it was okay to check in earlier than the anticipated time. Děkuji!!

Rrally handy place for the town and it's attractions. Has its own car park round the back and the rooms are massive if not slightly eerie.... I half expected to look out the window to see knights of the realm jousting and peasants spit roasting a hog. A real historical feel!

Hotel OPAT is just OK. It's a good place to spend a night if you don't expect much. Room was generally clean but I found one spider in the corner. Because there's not much light and furniture is made of solid wood I wouldn't describe the room as a cosy. Restaurant in hotel OPAT is fine. Really kind service in reception and the restaurant.
Rafał T — Google review
The room was on the ground floor, so all the people walking by could see into your bed and shower. Otherwise it was a nice, light, clean room and you have your own entry to the building. Could be better for the price.

Seated in a bustling establishment, relishing delightful beverages. The passage of time eludes me; it has been quite some duration since my last visit. The rum offerings presented before me are unparalleled, a remarkable assortment to behold. Impeccable hospitality graces this venue, with staff displaying unfailing attentiveness and amiable demeanor.
Sitting in a crowded bar, enjoying good drinks. How long has it been. One of the best rum selections I have seen. Great service, very attentive and friendly.
Manfred F — Google review
The cocktails were okay, very tasty but kind of weak. When we went to pay we had to use a card and they acted like it was the end of the world. The bartender was very rude. If you don't want to take card then be cash only and send people to an atm, don't be rude to your customers.
Alex M — Google review
Never ate there, but the location is a highlight of all my Scottish colleagues working in Foxconn/HPE when it comes to drinks. And if it is good enough for the Scottish, it must excellent just for anyone!
Petr L — Google review
The restaurant boasts awards in the past, but it must be a long time ago. During the evening, still something from the advertised offer was not available, and in the end there was any food. The culmination of the experience was the request of the staff and the arrogant owner to pay a high bill in cash (restaurant don't accept credit cards) at a time when you have to go to an ATM during a lightning storm and heavy rain. Never again!!!

Hotel U Vlasskeho Dvora is a charming accommodation located in the heart of Kutna Hora, offering a cozy and historic setting. The hotel features spacious and clean rooms, with some guests noting traffic noise due to its central location. Visitors appreciate the helpful staff and excellent hot breakfast served daily. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant/bar and seasonal terrace seating provide a delightful experience for guests looking to unwind after exploring the city's historical sites.
Quiet and comfortable. Great location in the center. Very kind attention. Very good breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Excelent rate price/quality. My first choice in Kutna Hora!
Yanina B — Google review
Amazing apartment in the center of Kutná Hora, spacious and cozy. The only disadvantage is one single washroom with toilet and shower for all the flatmates. That makes the living a bit less comfortable. The location is fantastic.
Josef P — Google review
Pretty good as location goes. The room was at the absolute top of the building and the accessibility there wasn't the best. No elevator either. The staff was pretty nice, however the maid didn't come to our room twice in a row despite visiting every other room. I don't blame her, I wouldn't want to go up those nightmarish stairs either.
Sulphur05 — Google review
I stayed here for over two weeks while on business with Foxconn. Breakfast was always good - I had to ask for a few custom menu items from time to time to eat what I was accustomed to. The staff is very helpful. Rooms are a little sparse - the bed is a futon mattress on a wooden frame. It does the job. The shower supplies are liquid soap or body wash only. Bring your own supplies if you are picky.
Chris E — Google review
Was there just for lunch, they had quite diverse lunch menu, inexpensive, fast, service was great, friendly and efficient. If you're looking for a quick bite and you're happy with simply cooked meal that's your place. The only problem was with toilets which were not maintained.
Kaur E — Google review
We wanted to visit the restaurant, prizes on the board and on the menu we received was impressive. But after the moment the waiter gave us another menu with twice higher prices and told us they had another dishes no more. We felt that they tried to cheat us. We will not recommend this place to anybody and went further to eat in a different place.

Tea house
This unique teahouse stands out from the medieval vibe of the town with its Thai-themed decor and charming ornaments adorning every wall. It offers a comfortable atmosphere where visitors can spend their day, observing the locals going about their daily activities. Dobrá Čajovna is renowned for its exceptional dining experience, receiving a five-star rating in the Czech Republic. If one desires to relax and have a simple meal, this tea house is an excellent choice.
I've only been here a few times, but I definitely recommend it. The place has its own specific atmosphere and not everyone will like it. There is calm music playing and a beautiful interior that completes the atmosphere here. Unfortunately, we couldn't visit the garden because it only opens when it's warmer. So we had tea inside. We all liked it very much. Some teas are poured into the teapot more than once. I will definitely visit the tea house again.

A calm tucked away spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Extensive tea menu and vegan/vegetarian food options. We sat outside in the garden, enjoying the peaceful fountain and the resident cats. Even on a hot day, the garden is cool and shaded. There are normal seats as well as some niches where you sit on the platform with a low table. Excellent service and drinks!

Great little tea house. The food and tea is quite good. The rooms and vibe are awesome. Reminded me of being in a tea house in Japan quite a bit. The owner seems very knowledgeable and does his job very well. Service is very good and you use the bells at the table to get their attention which is nice. The upstairs has really cool indoor and really cool outdoor seating as well as the downstairs, which is like almost a crypt (tho it smells a bit musty, honestly). The whole experience is very good. I highly recommend it.

(Translated by Google) Today we arrived at Palma at 23:40. I greeted and told my friend about the order. Instead of a greeting, we were told that they were closing. Without any excuse, they explained (they have until 2:00 a.m.) they got up to dance at the next table, but after the first song, they were cut off by another probably ending song: I'M FINISHED CLEAR MESSAGE 🙈 the light came on, probably to be a signal and everyone got up to pay. The attendant was not even able to apologize when paying. On the contrary, she looked as if what are we still doing there? I used to go to Palma often and this disappointed me a lot. To make a person feel bad for entering the business... (Original) Dnes jsme ve 23:40 dorazily na Palmu . Pozdravila jsem a řekla s kamarádkou objednávku . Hotel Kréta offers simple yet comfortable rooms in a casual setting. The relaxed restaurant, featuring a wood-burning stove, serves delicious food and beer, with the pork ribs in special sauce being highly recommended. I ordered a Kingdom Come: Deliverance Středověký pivní korbel to Poland. The shipment was very well secured, nothing bad could happen to the mug and it didn't. The mug is perfect, the clay finish is rough, so the mug won't slip out of a wet hand. The inside finish is glazed. The Kingdom Come logo is great. Overall, it's a high-quality item. Oh, and I also got a cardboard coaster with the KCD logo, thank you! :-) Audentes fortuna *burp* iuvat!

Otherwise, the burger could be great, I had the farmer's one. (Original) Velmi milá obsluha, no to jídlo už za moc nestálo. Jedli jsme ve 4 a jen jeden burger byl v pořádku. Hranolky?
