My recent visit to Hot Flame World Banquet in Livingston was a five-star experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with an incredibly attentive and friendly staff. The food was always fresh, with a vast selection of great-tasting dishes with the buffet being constantly replenished. A highlight was the live cooking stations; the chefs were not only skilled but also welcoming, preparing delicious food right in front of us as we ordered. This made the food incredibly fresh and flavourful. While not applicable to myself I did notice, and was impressed that the vegetarian options were clearly marked. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal and will definitely be returning soon.

We would like to leave a 5star review for our favourite banquet buffet.. The food is fantastic with so many choices to cover everyones taste.. This busy restraunt has the loveliest kindest staff n wonderful managers ever.. Nothing is too mch trouble n we look forward to our many visits here so much that my partner has the Hot Flame Belly to prove it..cant wait for our next visit..see you all soon.. The best place to eat and enjoy eating Food from all over the world you find it in this place, i traveled the world while been served on my table. The best is the sushi bar with the Shif Rakish 10 out of 10 Highly recommended place for kids and family to gather and eat Little secret (( book your table one day in advance and get better price ☺️)) booking online is so easy

It's just OK. My biggest disappointment was the "Mexican" section... my God! If they did Mexican food properly, they'd need 3 times the whole venue space. There were hard taco shales - not Mexican, they're from USA. Chilli con carne - not Mexican either, also from USA. And something that said "Mexican" rice... what on earth is that? Nowhere near an actual Mexican rice. Anyways... I was hungry, so we had food. Not going back any time soon.

This is easily the best buffet I have been to. All food is extremely fresh and absolutely delicious. There is even a live food section with amazing teppanyaki grill in which all meats are cooked perfectly, a BBQ type grill bit and also a section to get fresh pasta. Staff are also lovely, definitely recommend!

Unbeatable Hot Flame Buffet in Livingston was fantastic! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. From the moment we arrived with our 3-year-old (mid-tantrum!), the door staff were so kind and helped calm him down. We were seated in a lovely private booth, which made our meal so relaxing. The table service was brilliant – plates whisked away like magic without ever disturbing us. A special shout-out to the teppanyaki chef for an amazing fire and juggling show that our son adored. Wonderful food, wonderful people – we’ll definitely be back soon!

Went in on a quiet weekday night with our 2.5 year old. Was very good value for money for him and the guys on the live cooking stations were brilliant with him, especially at the grill and the one who was practicing juggling at the teppanyaki. Kept our toddler delighted and genuinely blew his mind with a simple magic trick. Made for a really fun meal.

Used to be good value for money, not now. Chicken balls (9 pieces)and chips used to be £6.80 then it went up to £8.60 with 8 pieces. Last night I got it and had 7 pieces of chicken. Is that how they operate? No complaints about the quality of the food but the portion reductions seems sneaky.

My first time here and wow it was amazing, the absolute best chicken and pineapple I've ever had. Will definitely be back. Only niggle was the shop was freezing while waiting. Thank you.

Ordered a few things from Hongs in the last few months although I've never been particularly thrilled by the quality of the meals they've filled a hole. However last night's meal was the kicker that made sure I won't be back. Ordered the Pork in black pepper sauce with chow me in noodles. Pork was so chewy it felt like I was chewing gum and the sauce was overly salty to the point I stopped eating after a few fork fulls. When I had been previously the snack box's had been okay and solid value for money. However any proper meals haven't been the best. Overall I don't think Hongs should be your first choice Chinese maybe 3rd choice if others are very busy. Probably best staying too the staple dishes rather than trying something new if you do decide to order here.

First time at Hong tonight and we will definitely be returning customers! The chicken in the curries was quite chewy and we prefer it tender bit that personal taste and all in all we were very happy. Quick, inexpensive and very tasty!!

We normally buy from them and enjoy but this time I don't know whether it's due to business being slow or a new cook but it was nowhere near as enjoyable. I couldn't eat the onion rings. Done well but covered in excess with salt. The chicken in the curry was stringy and chewy I gave up. So disappointed. Not their usual.

Quite good food , parking out front can be quite busy but you can see your food being made which is always good. Delivery seems to be pretty consistent and quality seems to only occasionally drop. Prices aren't too far off average and portion size is fine.

After many delicious meals over years from Hong's I visited last night as a takeaway treat for myself and my parents. It had been over 2 years since my last one as having moved house. Ordered: Chicken satay starter.... It was so overcooked and dry you could have soled shoes with it nevermind get your teeth thru it! Tom Yum Chicken was tender but the Tom Yum sauce was watery and no Tom Yum taste or heat! I saw a munchy box advertised and at £16 I thought it must be good.... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Everything was deep fried (Looked as if they had partially cooked it even before that) THEN chucked in a wok with so much salt that none of us could eat anything! I called to complain and was advised that no one has complained about that before and that's the way they do it. No offer of replacement... No offer of refund... Service to match the food served! I have worked in restaurant management for over 20 years and this looks like reheats / pre prepped partially cooked / no fresh cooking or flavour / no proper cooking skills except how to work a fryer and apply excessive amounts of salt! Possibly different management from years ago! The worst meal I have ever had! Went straight into the bin! Very disappointing!

The food is honestly fantastic, constantly good. This was our third time visiting and taking our children this time as we knew it was something they'd be able to eat. The flavours and quality of the food are delicious. Alway fresh and cooked perfectly, nothing burnt. Staff regularly filling everything up and clearing tables. It is such a lovely relaxing restaurant to enjoy lunch or dinner. Love the extras for the children.

I called ahead to inquire a few things, lady on the phone was friendly, polite and cheerful, she answered all my questions, all the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful, the restaurant was clean and tidy wasn't busy so was seated quickly, food was good although a few things were lukewarm but still really good, would definitely go again, you definitely get a lot for your money

Great food and amazing customer service. We were staying at the Premier Inn down the road and were looking for somewhere to eat and came across this gem. There was so much variety to choose from and they were really accommodating with us. A few in our household have allergies and the waitress took a lot of time explaining which dishes contained the allergens and even offered to have fresh ones cooked for us without them in. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, this restaurant went out of business and has been permanently closed for all of 2025. I'm adding a photo of what it looks like now, taken on a Friday afternoon. I did enjoy it back when it was open, and miss eating there.

Very polite and nice staff. Most of the food tasty (above average). Wide variety of meats, only 3 seafood dishes (on Sunday), but of good quality. Very, very few vegetarian options. Quite unfortunate as I had one food deviant with me and she didn't find many options for herself. Clean restrooms, but the dining area could be a bit cleaner.

Pink chicken today and the chips were under cooked. We did tell them and they took the tray away but by then it was almost empty. Still ended up costing up over £90! Won’t be back. Shame, it used to be really good.

Used to be a firm favourite of mine, went there last night and was shocked by the price and over all quality of the food. The chicken/noodle soup - sliced chicken roll of some sort, possibly tinned! I won't go on about the rest, that say's it all to me, standards well below what used to be a great place to eat.

It has changed the rice colour for a start n the beef curry no longer melts in the mouth the only place I would ever go for Chinese in Bathgate but since they started to deliver ,it’s all white Scottish people on the phone and now I’m sure making the meals ,ma mum took me thier as young boy and it used to be superb but now,the wee women whom ma mum knew her name has gone so has the quality,a don’t eat Chinese anymore tbh ,

Food and service was excellent. They didn't have sun lik draught beer, and there were a alot of chillis on the spring roll starter. Only very minor gripes though.

We’ve been going here regularly for years. And over the last few months it’s steadily gone downhill. Food quality, consistency and actually getting the order correct. Tonight was the last straw. Special chow mein tasted really off. I had a tiny bit of noodle and thought it didn’t taste right, then I bit into the king prawn. It was hard and crunchy (no shell!) like water chestnut and tasted really odd. I called them and said there was something wrong. They told me to put it back in the container and to bring it back and asked if I wanted another. I declined and asked if I could have something else - the thought of another prawn or noodles was making me feel ill. I asked for beef and broccoli and a fried rice Upon returning the dish, (no apology for inconvenience) I had to wait until they added up the price difference (£1.70). I told them I wasn’t paying the difference as I’d had to drive back to return it and wouldn’t have had to change it if there hadn’t been something wrong with the order. After much discussion in Cantonese I was told I’d have to pay to return a dish next time?? I shouldn’t have to return food I’ve ordered. This place has continued to get worse lately and there’s inconsistency with dishes from night to night. Between that and the latest idiocy over returning a meal that I’ll be lucky I don’t end up ill from, we will not be returning.

The last two orders have been missing items, or been wrong. Unfortunately for me I didn’t check my order before I left this time resulting in another trip back down. Apologies were given but the food quality hasn’t been great either. The last time I was sick after and tonight my grandson has been violently ill after only eating some chips and a little bit of lemon chicken…. Now everyone refusing to eat there again. Not brilliant at all.

Special fried rice should be easy and tasty. This was neither, I have honestly had better from a plastic microwavable ready meal. I won't be back and would advise you to go elsewhere. If I could have have given it 0 stars I would have.

Ordered chicken curry tonight and it was disgusting 🤢 I don’t know what was in it but it certainly wasn’t chicken! It was very slimy and unbeatable! Prawn Crackers were also soggy! Will never use this place again !

Very friendly staff. Their dumplings are indeed solid. One of the best ones I had overseas (the skin is outstanding)! The normal “dishes” are ok, nothing amazing but nothing bad… … Until the noodle with minced pork and yellow bean sauce was served… The sauce was very authentic and well done (which is the hard part), but it was served with RICE noodle. The texture and mouthfeel are completely off (plus the rice noodle was overcooked so it got rather soft and slimy) - imagine you got a Japanese milk bread when you ordered a French baguette to pair with your soup. It’s just wrong. 🥲 With the right noodle, it could have been fantastic. Please buy the right type (even if it’s not handmade)… 🥲

This has to be the best Dong Bei Chinese restaurant I ever had in the whole Europe. Food was so good especially the sweet and sour pork, very authentic taste from the Northern east area of China. Hand made dumplings are also must eat dish. Good value including some free soft drinks. Will defo go back.

Went here to try their dumplings! Fresh and tasty with good filling and the pastry was also perfect! we tried their pork and chives dumplings! Also ordered the chicken sweetcorn soup which was also very tasty! The place had a proper authentic vibe and didn’t fail to deliver! Staff is nice and friendly! Toilets were also very clean!

Been coming back for their homemade rainbow dumplings ☺️ This time we also received some complimentary sea tangle with lemon and chili oil, good with rice! Also we were getting Northern sweet & sour pork for a while, but there is very little meat now and it's mostly fried dough 😔 sauce is good though, if there was less batter it would be great! Our server also was very attentive and friendly telling us about the complimentary dish and packing our to go box for us, but we felt too shy to ask for his name 🥹🙏🏻

OMG! This is definitely a Top Notch Savoury Northeast Cuisine that is a GEM in Edinburgh. The sweet and sour crispy pork is you can't miss out in your order. The pork is so crispy and juicy! The dumplings are full of flavours and the chef handmade each and every! Definitely a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT IN EDINBURGH. The owners are very customer orientated and you will definitely be welcome with so much smiles and warmth! Very Authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine that you will be able to find in the HEART OF EDINBURGH.

For this restaurant it’s located in a the food court of the designer outlet. They have a range of oriental foods with options of rice noodles and the toppings of chicken in different flavours from Chinese curry, Katsu, salt and pepper and sweet and sour. They have options of box meals where there are upgrades to add a side and drink. They offer extras like dips on offer 3 for 99p. When I was in visiting for a meal I was upsold to the meal with extra side and I opted for the extra sauces for my side. They also have an app in which you gain points for visits.

Since its kinda hard to find water refil in livingston, you can ask for tap water to the waitres in chopstix when ordering! Nice food big portion!

The food is always good despite the randomness of the portion size (regardless of what size you order) this seems to be open to interpretation rather than any set ratio. The staff appear to have male/female devide, the guys seem friendly and engaged whereas the girls seem stand offish and sometimes to the point of rudeness. Food is good - staff 50/50 split!!

I ordered food, when I phoned back up to ask when it ill be here a woman ok the phone told me I t was leaving now. However 35 minutes later ( when I only stay a 5 min drive away) the food is turned up freezing cold. When I called back to complain the woman was extremely rude ans I could hear the chefs shouting in the background back to qhat she was saying. I asked the woman how it would be fixed, and was told there is nothing she is willing to do to fix it. Not even offering a discount or replacement. She then said I cant help you and proceeded to hang up without saying bye also

had the salt chill chicken balls as starter then had a delicious chicken curry which was the tasty dish , then with chicken chow main. Now all good until the next day as I’ve felt pretty crap so must have been cooked with MSG which is fake salt :(

well…i will admit the food is good, customer service on the other hand? needs a bit of work. Phoned up to ask for something to be removed from my order. didn’t even get to say hello and someone answered “it’s on its way” i say “pardon” they say “it’s coming right?” i was in shock so just hung up. Want customers money? treat them properly.

Ordered salt and chilli chips and a curry sauce - the most basic order ever. Gave my BBQ sauce instead, I called back to let them know they had given me BBQ sauce by mistake "lady" on the phone was so rude and was adamant that that was what I asked for saying that she read it back to me, which she didn't as I wanted curry sauce so if she had in fact read back BBQ sauce to me I would have said no I wanted curry sauce. Absolutely shocking customer service, even blaming me saying I had asked for it. Used to be very nice staff here certainly won't be back.

absolutely shocking!! so it started when i placed my order they sent the wrong meal. I didn't mind but was slightly annoyed as it was already a little past dinner time. I phoned to ask if they would send me the right thing and they seemed okay with that. 40 minutes later and still nothing, so I phoned back to ask if they were actually coming and was shown nothing but rudeness and aggression. the lady on the phone said it was my fault and that it didn't matter because she was new to the business. Bullshit! I ended the call after the lady began back chatting me. safe to say I will not be ordering from dragon palace again and advise others to do the same.

Sat in and asked for half duck, but didn’t have any, no alcohol licence, and no tofu, anyway, gave us duck slices, charged us for full price of half duck, and my son who eat it, has had diarrhoea all morning. Wouldn’t go near the place again, The place overcharged, and food poisoned. 🤮

Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Can’t recommend the Singapore rice noodles enough! Service was great too and lovely inside.

The best chinease in bathgate, i was pleasantly surprised at the sweet and sour chicken, it wasnt too sweet or acidic. The chicken was moist and cooked well, and you could tell this was fresh, good quality chicken. When ordering food i'd keep in mind that the portion sizes are a bit smaller than you would expect so it makes eating here a bit pricey, but i would say its worth it compared to the other takeaways nearby.

What a great little restaurant in the heart of Bathgate in Scotland. Definitely recommend if you like good service and a bit of bantler.

Last night's delivery... Crispy shredded beef... Container half full. I ordered chips f/rice curry sauce... No curry sauce. Pinned right away but they had closed... Rice was ok though 😡

I ordered salt and pepper chips and they just tasted very salt and was over cooked had a couple and put them in the bin the spring roll was nice. My partner had egg fried rice with gravy. He got half a tray with mostly gravy.he didn't like that either. The spring rolls was medium when I asked for large ones. They was nice tho.

Where do I begin. First of all I ordered my food on their website only to be told only part of the order had went through!!! Secondly I went for the delivery option and had to wait an hour and food was luke warm if that. Disgraceful service will be ordering from somewhere else in future

Bought a munchie box and it’s was just so salty, I felt it was over cooked, I know it’s deep fried but it was just so saturated. The majority of the box went in the bin. Quick delivery and polite driver. Chips were ok but not a good first experience.

If you are looking for a Chinese takeaway in the Bathgate area do not use this company We ordered through just eat and we were told an estimated delivery time of 60 mins which was fine, however the food turned up within 15 mins which under normal circumstances would not be a problem. The food that was delivered to us had obviously been cooked hours before and was reheated prior to delivery. When we complained we were told that we had been barred from ordering again from them and that we would also not have the food replaced If you like rubbish food, rubbish service then this is the company for you, otherwise do not use this place Order at your peril

Watch the amount of white pepper in the Hot and Sour soup! Way to peppery. Had to leave half of it. The rest was fine. Salt and pepper squid and large spring rolls. Not sure the spring rolls were homemade like other Chinese in the area but they tasted nice and were well cooked.

I really enjoy the food from here. However being a single person I seldom am able to order anything now as they have increased their card payments to £25. I'm sure they have their reasons for this but I feel it's excessive and probably loses them some custom.

Food is always brilliant and staff friendly. However, I really wish they’d be more honest about when the food will be ready. I’ll order on the phone, they’ll say “ready in 20 mins”, I’ll walk into the shop and only then they signal to the kitchen to start cooking. Completely defeats the purpose of ordering on the phone.

Great Chinese. Have eaten from here 3 or 4 times now and it's been consistently good every time. Prices are very reasonable too. My only issue is that the chow mein noodles are a bit thin. I prefer the thicker ones but it's just a personal preference.

Extremely busy which is a great sign. Helpful staff and the guys was all piping hot. Decent portion size compared to some places. Food was all fairly good, not very spicy but I guess that's what you need to do in case someone doesn't very spicy stuff. Would come back to try other stuff. Free parking outside.

Order from here very occasionally and it’s not bad, however today I called up, 30 mins before close (plenty of time) and was told very bluntly that “that’s them cleaning up now”. I understand last orders for food needs to have a cutoff but when the place is open until 11, and there’s no tables, service shouldn’t be denied at half past.

Food here is okay, staff are always friendly the wait times are pretty good. Always get the chicken curry from here with rice. Used to love the chicken toast and barbecue sauce but it can be a bit sickly, overall pretty good Chinese. Cash only (online orders for collection available)

Ordered tonight 2 x curry’s and both were disgusting. Picture attached. No curry sauce just congealed brown stuff, chips were cold and tasted as if had layen all day. Won’t recommend or use again

The last 4 times I have ordered here, going into the ship. My orders have been wrong, over charged. Last night I went in and ordered 2x chips and 1 curry sauce. Was charged £8.80. Got home, only had 1 chips. Phoned and was told I'd have to pay for a second bag of chips if I wanted them. I've gave the benefit of the doubt pervious times. Won't be back. If they're doing this to me with charging price and not receiving goods, how much money are they stealing pretty much.

First time using them and waited for two hours and twenty minutes. Wouldn't answer the phone, etc. The quality of the food was terrible, very rushed, and the chow mein had a burnt taste. First and last time I would use them.

Ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup, barbecue spare ribs, chicken balls, shredded crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce with fried rice. Soup was thin and bland, plenty of chicken but next to no sweetcorn. Spare ribs were tough and had quite a few bone splinters in. Chicken balls, apparently, we're tough and didn't taste like chicken. And, the shredded crispy chicken was neither shredded or crispy. It was half inch stripe of chicken, some of which hadn't been sliced completely, and it was not battered. The outside of the chicken was dry and very hard to bite through. First time I've had to use a knife and fork to eat a Chinese meal. It was so much hard work to eat that I gave up half way through. I won't be ordering from here ever again

Ham was tinned (spam) - disgusting. Chow mein was basically plain noodles and boiled chicken. BBQ sauce was inedible as it strangely tasted like dishwasher soap. Really bad meal, so disappointed.

Tried here tonight on the recommendation from a reception lady in another take away I use, I must say I'm glad I ordered, very good portions and very very tasty, even got some extra free crackrs/spring rolls/mini samosas and curry sauce which I did not expect, also very tasty, I will be back! :)

Since moving into the area 3 years ago we tried all the local takeaways. Dragon hing was the best Chinese until recently. We ordered our usual Salt and pepper chicken wings to start. When they arrived there was no salad and the "wings" were not wings. They are a little bit of breast which has been scraped back and served. Needless to say they were tough, dry and tasteless. My main of chicken curry was also very bland. When i called, i was advised the manager would call me as we had been customers almost every week for 3 years. Not a cheep from her. Extremely disappointed in the service and the food quality as it has gone right downhill. We will never be ordering from Dragon hing again.

Place looks immaculate so ordered sweet and sour chicken food looked lovely until I tasted it my fried rice was greasy and sweet and sour had no flavour. Chicken batter was tough. DEFINATELY won't be back.

Thought we'd try it out as they put a flyer through our door, seemed alright. Below average quality food and despite it not being shown anywhere on the flyer they invested money in to, the place is Cash only. Feel free to inspect the attached images but massive oversight on their part. After the pandemic's high points, you really think many people carry cash in the UK anymore? Either update your leaflet (Already thrown away the leaflet but the inside has no mention of it either) and add card payments, walking into the store to then be pointed at a sign saying "Cash only" turned me right off the store before I even tried the food, luckily I had a 20 on me. A good amount of the food ended up in the waste bin, with myself only finishing the boiled rice. Won't be returning.

Ordered beef with black with bean sauce. Only one taste I noticed is salt. The meat was as hard as a stone I was not able to cut it with a knife. Went straight to the bin. I do not recommend this place. Very poor quality food.

Hallelujah! My husband and I have been vegan for 3 months, and we have two small children thar still eat normally. It's going well except for disappointing/stressful/non-existant takeaway options meaning we can never have a night off cooking. But now we've finally found a Chinese that cooks great vegan options with high quality fresh, vibrant produce, accommodates special requests, is affordable and..... still has the old favourite my kids love! The customer service is friendly and efficient and it's all round just a wee gem. Thanks so much for the freebies too, a nice touch. So glad we tried somewhere new, my faith is restored! Please do consider doing a veggie/vegan set meal for two!

**ATTENTION!** All those who eat here regularly, as I have, please be aware that I have been infected with a food borne virus which is particularly nasty as it attacks the liver. This came about following a curry from here! Within hours I was dangerously ill. This can only be passed to food via stools.Enough said?? Eat here at your own risk!

Delivery took some time but was worth the wait,special curry extra spicy wasn't Delivered spicy enough one time I ordered,I called to complain,I was told sorry sir don't give me attitude, I wish your curry was spicy enough to burn the gub clean aff ye, A replacement curry was delivered quickly and it was magnificent, Two currys to me and 5 stars to you, Great place,highly recommend.

First time tonight food was over £30 and it was the worse I have ever had.. chips were frozen, asked for crispy beef was soggy tasteless.

I’ve used this takeaway before and always been on point, today however not so. I ordered Singapore chow mein as I always do and this maybe a one off time but I’ve never had what tastes like cucumber in one. Salt and pepper ribs well I’ll let the photo give you an idea of it. Battered spare ribs isn’t a thing and it shouldn’t be! Also got a curry sauce can’t fault that. I’ll try it again at some point to see if it’s improved, if not it’ll be the last visit.

Not just bad. Appalling. The Munchie Box is what other takeaways would call "the bin". Worse Chinese food ever.

Always get good fresh food and an excellent service from the lady on the counter, of you get a delivery the driver is awesome, even the dogs get a wee treat from him. Best place to go. Excellent value for money 🤑. Would recommend here.

Pretty good. The food here is great and they’re always willing to take away veg or keep sauce separate. The staff are friendly. The wait time isn’t bad at all and the prices are okay, you could potentially find a cheaper place but for the quality it’s definitely worth it. Cash only however there is a cash machine near by.

The beef curry is definitely the best I've tasted in west lothian. All the meat was nice and soft not chewy and the sauce was really flavoursome. Good portion size too. Highly recommended.

Ordered tonight 20th January… breast of chicken curry fried rice chicken chow mein…. food was absolutely disgusting with zero taste to it, ended up going in the bin. Very poor tonight

Waited more than 1 hour advised by just eat which was fine. Food arrived freezing. Called shop & told to get in touch with just eat who only returned half the money as per cold food policy. Wouldn’t order from here again. £31 and Full meal in the bin

Just ordered tonight for the first time won't be back. Waste of £40 couldn't eat the food. Tasteless watery very disappointed! The kids couldn't even eat the food! Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered! Total mushy slop. NEVER AGAIN

Bought 4 dishes here on 14 12 24 every one was put in the bin as the taste and presentation was horrible Only good thing was the spring rolls Chicken curry had a strange taste and colour chicken was not fresh The bbq ribs were in a watered down sauce and the chow mein had a strange taste and appearance I only went here due to the usual chinese takeaway I use in whitburn was very busy I should have known better when all the other takeaways in whitburn were busy but this one was quiet The decor has not changed inside here for 20 years and the full place looked dirty and unkept even the main door did not open properly I will never ever buy from here again

I mean it tastes OKAY, not terrible, but it’s absolutely soaked in grease. It’s dripping wet. it’s slop. Food was barely warm, ended up cold quickly. For the money you can definitely find somewhere with better standards.

Chicken Curry - 4/10 (that’s being generous) Chow mein - 1/10 - ROTTEN Salt & Chilli Chips - 6/10 Will never order here again, absolute worst Chinese in the area.

This has to be the worse Chinese takeaway know to man. The peking sauce was like drain water and tasted worse. The crispy shredded chicken tasted like cardboard. The Mongolian beef was below bang average and the munchie box was pointless basically two spare ribs which had no beef on it and the rest was quite frankly not worth the price of the box it was chucked in. The state of the establishment was compared to the floor of a amatuer football changing room after game. Worst experience ever won’t be back and should be renamed the bang average fence. Don't expect your food delivered in a hurry. That's two and a half hours now and it's still not arrived. I've just ordered a standard family of 4 meal so nothing special. How can it take so long? This is our last time ordering from them.

If you want a Chinese. Order from so good Chinese takeaway ,do not order from green jade unless u want to wait close to 2 hours and be missing some of your order and have cold food delivered !!!!

With the carryout there's always plenty in fact too much so it does two nights and the meals are excellent.

1st time I’ve been disappointed. Waited a hour and 5 minutes for delivery then when it came, the Salt & pepper chips were cold and soggy (not crispy at all), curry sauce was cold and so thick I could have sliced it with a knife and the special fried rice was cold and clumpy. Been ordering from here for over a year and never had a problem before. Raved to everyone previously about how they do the best salt & pepper chips I’ve ever tasted. They weren’t tonight

The only thing I miss about living in Broxburn is that this isn't my local Chinese anymore. By far the best Chinese iv had. Would gladly drive from west calder to pick it up the food is absolutely amazing. Best salt and pepper chips and the lady who worked there was always lovely and welcoming and gave ma wee lass free fortune cookies which absolutely made her day

Have not been to the Foo wing for a long time as the food was really poor quality, tasteless food last time. Thought i would give it a try again and ordered two currys , fried rice, chips and prawn crackers. Delivery came with no prawn crackers and to get what was missing delivered was atleast 30 minutes. Was told they would be added to next time i ordered a takeaway from them as i didn't want to wait so long. The food was tasteless again chips rotten keep the prawn crackers as i will never try the takeaway again.

Have tried all the local Chinese takeaways in Armadale/Bathgate and the Foo Wing is, by far, me and my family's favourite. Been consistently good for the 10 years I've lived in the area. My go-to Chinese when I've got a house full of visitors and never had any complaints. I try something new from the menu quite regularly but my favourite is their Char Sui fried rice and Kung Po dishes.

Bought a meal for 4 and Paid £40.30 Got it home and discovered a main course for the set meal was missing. Phoned up and was told there was no drivers in the shop to bring it out. I said I’d come for it if they credited me £5 for my next meal and the boss told them no. I said I’d just bring it all back then and get a refund and I was told that’s what I was to do. I buy from here every week spending £30-£40 I sometimes shop there twice a week. Disgusting way to treat a loyal customer. I won’t be back. Maybe just what was needed as they’ve reduced their portion sizes too and there’s hardly enough sauce as cover your food.

Stopped here on the way home from holiday. Sweet and sour chicken, kungpo chicken, fried rice and a portion of chips. It had just opened so it appears that the chips had been waiting since the day before and the rest wasn't exactly tasty. Don't think we'll be back. But at least neither of us was ill.

Ordered 3 thing, lemon chicken was OK for me. Prawn toast was lacking prawn and the chow mein was tasteless as they only put soy sauce in.

Delivery driver brilliant when delivered. The food on the other hand was disgusting. Far too much salt in food, the noodles tasted like dirty and rice was like it was microwaved. £4 delivery an hour wait for that!

Went downhill badly, used to be a good shop under the name Royal Dynasty now called Oriental Dynasty, food’s terrible now. Changed the way old menu items are cooked and have added random ingredients. Tastes so bland, try using some seasoning. Also the egg fried rice had the consistency of like it had been reheated (which can be dangerous), and the egg was more like half an omelette still joined together than scrambled and broken up. Shambles, if you can’t get that right, it says it all. Over an hour wait and the prices are high for what you get, it’s ridiculous.

After a poor takeaway meal of small ribs, diced meat in a bland chow mein 2 months ago, we tried again tonight. The prawn toast was chunky, fresh & generous portion. Chicken chow mein as good as it used to be, beef & oyster sauce was very good, tasted authentic with fresh peppers & tangy sauce. Think its improved after the new name, thankfully Will order again. Delivery was good and food was fresh & tastey.

Ordered from the new dynasty tonight. Got salt and spicy box. the salt was disgusting. Way way way to much. This is the 3rd time I have ordered being under new management and will be the last. Was told when I complained ask with less salt. When I ordered the first time was perfect amout of salt. It's not even edible this time. £30 down the drain.

Used this place on numerous occasions when it was simply called Dynasty. Recent change of ownership (and most importantly chef) and now called Oriental Dynasty. Tried it twice recently under new ownership and not a patch on what it was like. Really poor quality, tasteless and will not be ordering again. Real shame as it used to be our ‘go to’ for a take away.

Used to enjoy and look forward to food from Dynasty. This is the first order since the change over in management and very very disappointing. Everything we had ordered was bland, uninspiring and just felt depressing. A place that used to be brilliant, now a place where there is a distant memory. Not ordering from them again. The best thing of the order was the sealed cans of Coca Cola to wash away the terrible taste of the food

One to avoid. Really poor delivery times. Missing items. Couldn't get hold of the restaurant.
