I celebrated my birthday tonight with a large group. We were seated promptly. Our food was delicious and was served in a timely manner. The service was fantastic. It was overall a pleasant evening.

There are some ridiculous reviews for this restaurant. Every time I've eaten here in the past 30 years, its been very good food, excellent service, and the price is a great value for this quality restaurant. We just had a very nice meal here on a Friday night with family. Why do people hate n a great small business like this? Support local!!! Keep it up Mandarin!

The Mandarin in Bountiful completely exceeded our expectations — not just with their incredible food, but with their outstanding service and attention to detail for guests with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. We enjoyed a flawless five-course meal: crispy rice soup, sesame orange shrimp, Thai coconut curry, pepper beef, and to finish — a decadent flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of homemade strawberry ice cream. Every bite was perfection, and the Oolong tea was the perfect finishing touch. Our server, Matteo, was absolutely incredible — knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely passionate about making our experience special. He guided us through the courses with care and made sure everything was safe and gluten-free without compromising a single ounce of flavor. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with phenomenal food and world-class service, The Mandarin is the place to go!

We decided to try this restaurant after hearing a lot of good things about it. It was by no means bad, but it definitely wasn't worth the hype. The food was good, but perhaps a little overpriced. The staff were friendly and the service was great. It was a good experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way or wait hours to eat there again. While the dining experience was pretty positive, I have a big issue with their reservation system. When you make a reservation they require you to give them your credit card number and if you cancel they charge you $15 a person! I have never had to give my credit card to another restaurant just to make a reservation.

This place is seriously overrated. It might’ve been a novelty and a superb restaurant back in the day, but now it’s just ok. The food is just ok with menu about 10-15 years behind the trends and current prices. It’s crowded and busy, you will get more attention at Chilly’s. It feels like an assembly line, and you are a piece on the line. I would be hard pressed to return. The dessert (ice cream and chocolate cake) was good!

This is my favorite restaurant, even though it is a 30 minute drive from our home it has been a constant in my life since I was a small child. I enjoy several of their dishes and love the environment, they even hide a Barbie in different locations that you can look for when you go. Some favorite dishes would be imperial noodles, cashew chicken, spice girl, and 5 taste shrimp! Highly highly recommend!!!

My husband made reservations under Resy and we were stoked because Mandarins website had a 4.9 rating. We love us some good Chinese food that’s for sure and we didn’t want to miss the opportunity. During arrival the hostess was attentive and sat us down exactly on time for our reservation. The place was crowded already which made us think that this restaurant is top notch. My husband got the combination fried rice and the Honey Walnut shrimp and I had the spicy Mongolian beef. Our food took about 15-20 mins to hit our table and that was pretty good on service. I started to feast and to be frank I wasn’t a big fan of any of the dishes. I guess I’m a little bias because why would Greek folks open a Chinese restaurant, but then again that’s my opinion. My Mongolian beef tasted like the meat was freezer burnt and they just put my meat on a wok and cooked it with the sauce. I took a couple bites and I called it quits. The honey walnut shrimp wasn’t crispy enough to my liking, but it had some flavor to an extent. I didn’t even want to try the combination fried rice at this point. Mandarin had no culture, no flavor, and it wasn’t authentic I know good Chinese food because I come from Guam and all the Chinese restaurants back home had flavor and their meats are always fresh and never freezer burnt. Sad that this place was a 4.9 and I ate with regret and disappointment.

Very solid Chinese food here! I got the Kung Pao chicken which our server said was one of the more popular dishes. It was definitely plenty of food for one person and a little on the expensive end, but not bad. The spice level was perfect for me and although I didn't love the texture of the chilis (they were a bit chewy), the flavors were overall food. Not sure if it was for the new year, but they even brought over some oranges to have at the end of the meal!

we went to Miao Miao Cat Cafe (which is also really recommended) in SLC and got introduced to this restaurant “Sasa Kitchen”, an authentic Chinese restaurant that serves really good noodles, orange chicken,… and their boba. I love their boba, especially their strawberry milkshake boba and handmade desserts. The service is super nice, servers are friendly, and will come back soon.

Suuper cozy, clean and cheerful spot with awesome service! We loved the hot and sour udon noodle soup with braised beef. The sesame chicken was not much meat but great texture and comes with veggies for some good balance. The wuhan dry noodles were not as pictured, our's came with ramen noodles and were more nutty than spicy.

Came in on a whim after planning a day in salt lake. It was a nice time around 2 pm to come in on a weekday I ordered using their QR code and my food was delivered without much of a delay! They had chopsticks and also used forks and such for their dishes. Very courteous staff and a nice locale. It does seem small, but it has a load of charm

The ground pork with shaved noodles is the perfect blend of al dente goodness with a homemade taste of spicy chili oil. Highly recommend this place with authentic Chinese food 😊

Good value Chinese food. We got the spicy cucumber salad, beef noodle soup, and general Tao chicken. Big portions. Noodle soup tasted great. Rest was decent.

My partner and I love this place so much. Everything so delicious and authentic made with care and love. They are so nice to us every time we come in. Most amazing place ever. They gave us a free bear pudding that was so adorable 😻 I recommend trying everything they have on the menu it's to DIE for. Love this restaurant I wish them all the best success in their business! Very nice chinese food with home cooking style. A tiny bit too salty for my taste but over all a great place to get delicious food.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did it yesterday. We liked it! The unique offering of this place compared to other Chinese restaurants is the Northern Chinese dishes,and they are fairly authentic! Spicy bbq lamb with cumin is terrific - while it's fairly common in China, it's hard to find in SLC. They also offered shredded pork with peking sauce, which is really common in beijing, but its the first time I saw a restaurant in slc offering this dish, and its delicious. Other recommended dishes include beef roll with green onion and cilantro, lotus stir fry, szechuan twice cooked pork belly. Overall, the service, price and taste are all good! We will be back again to try other dishes :)

This place was everything we hoped it would be. Our family dined there for lunch today and the food was incredible. Having lived in Taiwan, this is the food I miss the most. The dishes were truly authentic and really hit the spot. The service was excellent as well. Can’t wait to go back to this spot again. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Taiwanese food.

Look, I just came back from a trip to Taiwan, and all I can say is, "Taipei, y'all better step up your game!" The dishes here are homemade and no shortcuts!!! We ordered the shrimp, pork, leek dumpling, minced pork noodles, and seaweed wonton soup. Would have taken more pics of the dishes, but I was too busy eating.

Dine in experience is really bad compared to takeout. No service at all and everything is self serve - the waiter never checks in on us or asks if we need anything. We have to get napkins/water refill ourselves. Ordered a couple of entrees and they are not timed well. Took them over 1 hour to prepare all the dishes and we almost forgot about the lotus when it finally came out. I strongly suggest ordering takeout instead of sitting in the restaurant given the experience. In terms of the food, they did a better job with Taiwanese dishes compared to Szechuan dishes. I recommend popcorn chicken, soybean paste noodles, pan fried buns, ribs with potatoes. Not recommend braised pork, spicy boild fish (only a couple of fillets!) Also very small portion!!

Interesting little hole-in-the-wall place with pretty good food. It looks a little ghetto or run down and the service could use some improvement (two different servers that were not very attentive or proactive), but the food was quite tasty and enjoyable. We loved the dumplings and the decor inside.

Little mom and pop type of restaurant. Wide variety of dishes. Not your average Americanized Chinese food - this stuff is amazing. They also have Korean, Thai, etc dishes, so you can pick many flavor profiles. I had the garlic green beans and kimchi green onion fried rice. Both were extremely delicious! The service was quick and friendly. I can't wait to come back with several friends to try many dishes together.

Ive been here one time before but ended up leaving because I was confused. I thought it was a market. My son wanted boba the other day so we visited. It wasn’t the most amazing but my son liked it. Seemed to take very long to make for one milk tea boba. It was underwhelming.

Food was so delicious.... hot and fresh. One of the best ramen in SLC! Vibe was chill with a small kids play area but the tables needed to be restocked and containers cleaned.

It was quiet when we walked in. Nobody was in this place. We thought it was closed. The food was good. Not everything is made in-house. But friendly staff. The Milk Teas are delicious. From the Passionfruit to the Chai Tea. The potstickers are great. Dim Sum is good. Overall, it was a decent place to eat.

Dan Dan noodles 5/5 Pork sui mai dim sum 4/5 Shrimp ha cao dumpling dim sum 5/5 Steam soup buns 4/5 Egg custard bun 3/5 Egg rolls 4/5 Overall everything we got had great flavor and spices. Took points off soup dumplings since they weren’t as soupy and egg custard needed more filling. But Dan Dan noodles were very good and majority of the dim sum we ordered was tasty too. Everything tasted fresh and very authentic! Love the condiments at the table. Service was good. Cute neighborhood location. Will definitely come back!

As you come into the shop you’ll be at peace by its interior design. The food served is in fact very authentic and almost everything is made fresh; the staff makes the dumplings on the morning :) This place is hidden gem of Salt Lake City. Currently the menu is small and the owner has plans to make it bigger! Regardless of the quantity ~ you will walk out with quality and authentic Chinese food.

Hidden gem! We loved our experience here. The food here is so yummy! The soup and dumplings where authentic. And the spicy popcorn chicken was surprisingly good. The pot stickers we had two were beef and the other two where veggie. Both amazing. Try all the sauces they make them taste savory or sweet.

2024 update: I'm not sure why but this place didn't taste as good as the first time I came. Not sure if it's because of the inflated cost for lower portion or just the taste overall. Maybe I've just found somewhere better. Highly authentic Chinese food!! I am beyond satisfied with the food and service! I was recommended about this place and I am so glad I gave it a try. If you are reading this, it is a sign to bring your friends and go surprise your taste buds!

I recently had the chance to try One More Noodle, and wow, I’m hooked! The noodle dishes are incredible-super flavorful and the portions are huge. Everything came out quickly, too, which was a pleasant surprise. I have to mention their Spicy Numb Braised Beef is definitely a must-try! Just a heads-up: the “numb” part is real! I had a friend who thought it was just part of the name, but the ingredients actually give a numbing sensation which took him by surprise (lol). But don’t worry, the dish is delicious once you get used to it. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

The food is sooooo good! I usually get the house special, braised beef and it’s consistently delicious (this time I got the house noodles with chicken topping, which was also delicious). My mom and sister love the numbing spicy noodles with intestine as well! The staff is always nice, but my most recent visit was particularly pleasant! Ying Ying was EXTREMELY attentive and genuinely friendly. She was the type of person that you can tell genuinely cares about other people. She even gave us super cute hello kitty stickers that she made herself. She made my mom and I’s visit memorable and special. I LOVE ONE MORE

Got the spicy braised beef noodle with flat noodles ($1 upcharge) and broth was flavorful, beef was tender, and noodles were not soggy. Ended up bringing home leftovers and it reheated nicely. Will be back to try other noodles

One More Noodles House serves up incredibly authentic and flavorful Chinese noodles. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of comfort - definitely a hidden gem worth revisiting.

We had the best time here. The noodles are so good and a decent price. They give you such a big portion, and if you can't eat it all, they do have to go containers. The lady working the counter was so friendly and helpful. The cold noodles do come with a broth, but it's a nice change of pace. The little sandwich is amazing, and the numbing beef noodles were our favorite.

Typical PF Chang’s. Good food. Good service. Nice but outdated decor. Egg rolls are not big like traditional egg rolls. Food portion sizes are good. Management does a very nice job training there people. Could use a refresh in decor. But all around good…. Just not great.

I should have read the bad reviews before eating here! More than agreed to all the 1 star reviews! I should have ordered Chinese takeout restaurants food would have tasted way better than these so called Chinese dishes and paid much less ! Have you tried fried cubes of dofu soaked in heavy sweet sauce, it’s named mapododu!! ???? , the waiter said it’s pf Chang style!!! I forgot to take a picture of it

Came here this time for our wedding anniversary and had a great experience. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the manager gave us a sparkler with dessert, which was cool. I was careful and didn't catch my hair on fire or anything 😎

Paid $18 for orange chicken and they gave me no joke, seven tiny pieces and a half scoop of white rice. It literally felt like I was being pranked. That being said, it was tasty.

We had such an amazing time here! Our server Ashley Measom went above and beyond with her service! She was so kind and attentive and was amazing! We had the most amazing conversation with her and I can't even fully emphasize gow great she was!! If you can, I fully recommend her! We love Ashley and she deserves a raise!!!

Absolutely loved the food! so fresh and delicious I didn’t want to stop eating it! The service was top tier, and we got everything we asked for in perfect condition. Beautiful atmosphere, super clean, cool statues. Also Huge portions too! The Mongolian beef is my all time favorite. It is worth the hype.

Won’t return. It’s 4pm, after speeding long hours at the family search library, (yes I found few ancestors!!), we’re hungry and this restaurant opens at 4. No one is manning the restaurant. We waited then just sat down at a table. On my way to the bathroom at the back, one girl curled up in the last booth, playing with her phone, and one girl talking on the phone in the bathroom. Dirty plates. I used the paper towel from the bathroom, wet with water to clean it. We’ve Mongolian pork: good, except needs more cutting of the meat and fat green onion/scallion. Black pepper tofu: very good. The onion and bell pepper make the dish bit too sweet for me, either one with celery will taste less sweet.

I picked up lunch twice from here while in town for SmallSat. It is very convenient to the Salt Palace Convention Center. The staff was very friendly and helpful for my takeout order. The food is not 100% authentic but is much closer than what you typically find. I found the ability to make dishes spicy on a scale very nice as it allows you to tailor things to your tolerance nicely. I ended up getting an egg roll each time which was very tasty as well. One thing I’ll say is that it is very reasonably priced especially for being in downtown. Overall value is excellent and would grab lunch here again when in town for the conference.

J Wong’s was pretty decent. The outside of the restaurant is under construction, so no other customers were there, the atmosphere of the place was okay, dimly lit, quiet classical music playing. As for the food, the cream cheese wontons were pretty solid. I’ve definitely had better cream cheese wontons, but I’ve also had worse. They are better than Panda Express’s if you know how those taste. The sesame chicken was SUPER sweet chicken, definitely a citrus sweet, maybe strawberry lowkey. Definitely not savory, the General Tao chicken was our favorite! It was so crispy in a good way, and the flavor was sweet but not too sweet, paired with rice or Lo mein noodles, it was great. Everything is super saucy. Since we were the only ones in there, the waiter was super attentive, great service.

I went in for carryout and it was really nice inside. The gentleman at the Front was very friendly and though I ordered to go, it came out pretty quick and the Pad Thai with shrimp was delicious.

Stayed at hotel across the street and thought I'd try it for lunch. Stood in lobby for awhile and saw no on. Finally hostess appeared. Got food, and no one came to check on me, not once! Food was average, nothing special. Entire time there i was the only customer.

It was our first time here at J Wong’s. We were going to go to a different restaurant but they were packed since it was All Star weekend and so we decided to try J Wong’s. Their service was really good. They had robots delivering the food and taking the old dishes back. Super cool. Their food was yummy. It was a really big portion. We 1/4 of it and took the 3/4 home for the following day. The atmosphere was super chill and relaxing. We got tangerine chicken, tom yum and generals Tao’s chicken.

Loved this place. The food was really good, not too expensive (about $20 per person, plus tip) the service was really great, and the little robot waiters/waitresses were really cool. Oh yeah, and you get to choose your spice level (no spice, mild, medium, hot, and extra hot), and I chose medium, and I didn't think it was spicy at all. Just to help others narrow down their own spice levels.

We had noodles soup here and it was really good! The vibe really cute and romantic in some ways, suitable for family gatherings and they have private table in cute little cube for couples, staff really friendly, I'm gonna try more dishes next time!

My husband and I wanted a date night and this place had great reviews. We brought our four month old along as well. The restaurant did a great job of accomodating our car seat taking up a little extra space and were willing to make adjustments as needed! We did have a wait. I believe we were quoted 25 minutes but it was closer to 15 so entirely doable. We ordered some egg rolls, some garlic fried tofu, orange chicken, and beef lo mein. I wasn't in the mood to try their pho that day but I'll definitely have to come back and try it. The food was all delicious and the portion sizes were huge so it was a great value for the money! Service was very good. They collaborated well and made sure we had everything. They checked on us to pour us water maybe a few too many times! 😂 We definitely home to make it back soon.

We had a great dining experience here with a group of seven, and the staff handled everything very smoothly. They were welcoming, attentive, and made sure our tables had what we needed throughout the meal. The menu was excellent, offering not only classic Vietnamese dishes but also a nice variety of Chinese options. The pho was flavorful and satisfying, the fresh spring rolls were light and refreshing, and the house stir fried beef had a great balance of flavors. The chicken lettuce wraps were another highlight - very tasty. Everyone in our group found something they really enjoyed, which made the meal even better. Practical details added to the experience as well. Parking was free, easy, and close by, which made getting in and out simple. The restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere, casual but clean, and worked well for both a small group like ours and what would be a casual dinner for two. Overall, this was a very positive dining experience. Between the quality of the food, the variety of both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes, the friendly service, and the convenient parking, Mi La Cai is a spot I would be happy to visit again on my next trip to Salt Lake City. Highly recommended if you are looking for fresh, delicious Asian food with great value and a welcoming environment. They have the best egg rolls I've ever tried. Very polite and friendly, the best. Especial thanks to Tia and Dian for taking my last minute order of delicious Egg Rolls.

The food and service were so good it was hard to focus on anything else. I lost myself in the clearest, most savory pho broth I've ever had. Seriously the best pho I've ever had. I will be back every time I'm in Salt Lake City. On top of the best broth, the beef was so tender and savory. Service was FAST, the portions were large, the staff were kind and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.

I have driven past this establishment way to many times. This time we stopped for lunch. We were not disappointed, our young man server was one of the best we have ever had (side note, never judge a book by its cover) he was polite, kind. and very attentive. He did not write down our order, but arrived exactly as we asked for, this is a rarity. At the end of our meal, he also made sure we left with a full to go cup refill of our drinks, a very nice touch and a very old school customer service mindset of always give the customer more than they expect. 👏👏👏. The food was very tasty too. I had the mango chicken with the ham fried rice, cheese wonton, and a salad. The only critique I have is the chicken could have been more mois, they simply fried it to long in very hot oil but the flavors we excellent not to sweet and the mangos were ripe and yummy (could have put more on the plate 😇). My wife had the teriyaki chicken, ham fried rice, cheese wonton, and egg drop soup, all of it was yummy. I highly recommend this eatery, and won't be passing it by as much. Happy eating ☺️

This is our favorite Chinese place BY FAR! We live close by, so we come here fairly often. We are never disappointed, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I LOVE their tofu. I never get meat here because I love their tofu so much (but my partner always gets meat options). If you like basil, get their Thai Basil dish! It’s so good, and the server offered to throw in eggplant because I was interested in their eggplant dish. I got the best of both worlds! They will accommodate reasonable requests, and they really know what they’re doing.

Ordered through door dash so I can’t say my full experience but i wasn’t too impressed. Ham fried rice was delicious! Sweet and sour chicken was decent (wish it came mixed instead of sauce on the side). We got an order of the fried prawns which was too deep fried. The creamy egg drop soup was decent but my daughter wasn’t a fan of it. The chow mein didn’t taste like normal chow mein.

The egg drop soup was good but unexpectedly sweet. Some of the chicken in the chicken and snow peas had a strange flavor but the snow peas and the vegetables were good. The fried shrimp and General Tso’s was very good and so was the hot and sour soup and the fried rice. Service was efficient. The salt water fish aquarium was nice but it needs to be cleaned.

The food and experience at Joy Luck is good. The portions are huge and perfect for family style. Service can be spotty and at times simply transactional and not customer focused. Priced very fairly for the portion sizes. We always leave with a carton of food leftover.

The strawberry chicken was delicious! So good in fact I came back to this old review to add more delicious pictures, and rave about how being gluten free is not so bad if you can eat here all the time. The honey walnut shrimp is cracked! It is other worldly.

I picked up dinner here from last night around 7 PM and the place was packed with a very lively atmosphere, seems like a very comfortable place to go. Owner was greeting regular customers by name and a friendly welcome. Where is my last night in town after 2 1/2 weeks here wish I would’ve come sooner. As I would’ve come more than just this once. Kung pow chicken was fabulous, great heat perfect amount of celery. Is a sidenote, the cutthroat pale was great. I hope I can find it at home in Virginia.

I have to have a review in here somewhere before now cause this is one of my favorite places to come! I love the environment in the service and their wings and avocado spring roll appetizers are often what I order for my entrée. I’m also a big fan of the grilled chicken vermicelli! So much so that we’ve had several birthday parties in the super cute private room!

We had a nice quiet lunch at Somi today. My shrimp were delicious but may have sat a bit and were spicy. My daughter and I had the vermicelli salad hers being vegetarian and mine with prawns. She had a coconut water out of a coconut and it tasted refreshing for a hot day. The pho was served steaming hot and with plenty of peppers, basil and sprouts.

Did you wake up this morning, begin your yoga routine, and right in the middle of your warrior one pose think to yourself, "gosh darn my day would be complete if I had some super delicioso Vietnamese for lunch"? Well, I sure did, and the garlic chicken did not disappoint. Sauce think and smooth. Flavor dancing across those taste buds. Water chestnuts properly cooked. Like seriously, this stopped me in my tracks as the mouth feel of the perfectly soft crunch complemented the juicy chicken. Whoa buddy, let me pause and catch my breath. Now that I've had a moment to compose myself, let's switch gears and talk about the portion size, perfect. No over compensating dollar for dollar value with size. No, sir. The exact amount of food to fill the lunch needs of my belly. Flavor reins supreme. And to satisfy all of my senses, twirling the straw in my Thai ice tea sent me to a moment of Zen. Watching the swirls of flavors mix is pure present moment joy. Now I sit depressed in my corporate cubicle wishing for another lunch time soon where I can stop by Somi.

Very very good calamari! No sauce needed :) Very well seasoned. I also tried the avocado and cucumber spring rolls with no noodles. I greatly appreciate them being so accommodating with my no noodle request. Yummy and healthy! I REALLY enjoy their mango salad. I had to order it as a side order because they don't have a full size dish of it. Wish they did - I would order it every day. The location is great but parking is not the best. Restaurant is clean. It's like a modern twist (with some traditional dishes) Vietnamese restaurant.

I had the Pho grass fed waygu. The meat was nice and soft to eat, the noodles and broth tasted amazing😍. First time eating here. I’ve had pho at other places but this pho was a whole other level. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in Salt Lake City, Utah.🙂

We recently visited SOMI Vietnamese Bistro for the first time, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! First, we discovered the place by walking by (you can smell the deliciousness walking down the sidewalk ) ahhh. The moment I called to make inquiries, the hostess informed me that we could customize our spring rolls, which made me very happy. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the host and shown to a lovely corner booth. Our waiter, Rodel, was awesome – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. We started our meal with the calamari, which quickly became our favorite appetizer. It was perfectly crispy and flavorful. We also tried the crab soup, which was rich and delicious, and the shaking beef, which was outstanding. The spring rolls with pork were fresh and customizable, just as promised. To complement our meal, we enjoyed the Thai tea, which was sweet, creamy, and a perfect accompaniment to our dishes. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the servers were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, SOMI Vietnamese Bistro impressed us with their excellent service, delicious food, and warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back again soon!

First time eating here last week. Can right as the lunch menu was ending and it waitress was a like snotty that we wanted the dinner menu for more options. She went and got another waiter to handle us. He was a nice young man. The atmosphere is super cool in there. The good is mediocre. My husband ordered the Singapore noodles I think, and I did the Kung Pao. Super bland food. The wontons were ok and the egg roll was gigantic!

Party of four sat immediately with reservation at 4pm. Attentive waitress, hosts and quick ordering. Ordered 2 boBo platters, Tangerine chicken combo plate, general tsaos combo plate, Pad Thai and green shrimp curry(medium spicy ) All were good dishes, good sizes. Everything came out tasting fresh and in a timely manner. A great place to take family so everyone finds something, the medium spicy was mild spicy so keep it in mind if you're looking for more flavour/spice.

Food is average but the portions are so small. When you order family style it's only going to be enough for one and a half people per plate, as you can see in the picture the main entree is the size of my fork. The atmosphere's amazing but our waitress wasn't the friendliest.

You walk in and you expect a Cheesy old school Chinese food restaurant and you get mediocre gross not good should have been left in the 90s Chinese food it's less than mediocre it's it's actually kind of gross and I regret my Purchase it was not so gross that seemed unsafe it was just beyond mediocre old people Chinese food. Don't eat here if you can drive to panda. Worst fried rice I've ever had the beef and broccoli was flavorless. Sad actually I was craving that nostalgic taste but not this nostalgic grocery store Chinese is better

The only way this is a Chinese food place is the decor. My dinner was basically pot roast with green onions. My egg drop was chicken broth and spaghetti noodles. I kid you not. Ham fried rice was white rice with chunks of ham. Worst Chinese I have ever had. Do not waste your money. My diet coke was the only good thing. I left this restaurant just as hungry as when I came in.

I tried to ask the waitress about the menu and what she recommended and she answered: read the menu. I ordered a plate with beef , and the flavor was to much Soy Sauce. They put to much onion and gave me a cold rice.

We love this place for dim sum! It’s old and a little run down, but the food is fantastic. The servers are usually friendly and there is so much to choose from. It’s a great Saturday morning outing! Dim sum is only Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM - 2 PM.

it’s a little run down chinese joint with pretty good food overall. the restaurant is old but that’s usually a good indicator of good food right? we came in during a weekday so it was really slow. i’m sure this place is packed on a weekend. we ordered shrimp dumplings, sticky rice in lotus leaf, pork bao buns, potstickers, and shanghai dumplings. all were great. my only critique is that the shrimp dumplings had pretty thick skin and not that prominent sesame oil flavor i was wanting. potstickers were very large and filling. the other items were pretty standard and nothing special. the staff was friendly and i’d come again.

The food was excellent however when we were given our water we couldn't help but notice stuff floating in it. It was slightly disturbing but we were still able to enjoy our food. Just without water. The service was as good as it could be but there were some issues with the language barrier. We couldn't really understand what she was telling her what it was she didn't really understand what we were trying to ask her. All in all, it was good with some slight hiccups.

Delicious dim sum! Lots of delicious options. I ordered the 皮蛋瘦肉粥 (pork and preserved egg congee), chicken feet, rice rolls and ha gao. All absolutely delicious. Would definitely be back again when I visit SLC!

This is coming someone who has been to China and know Chinese cuisine and so if you don’t mind Americanized Chinese food this is your place but if you expect authentic then it not. The photo below is the “twice cooked pork” isn’t got and it ain’t twice cooked pork. Authentic doesn’t use broccoli snow peas or sweet sauce. It should use Pork Belly: Usually skin-on, giving a mix of fat and lean meat. • Leeks or Garlic Scapes: Traditional vegetable pairing; in Sichuan, garlic scapes (蒜苗) are preferred, but leeks are common substitutes. • Doubanjiang (豆瓣酱): Spicy fermented broad bean paste, the soul of Sichuan flavor. • Fermented Black Beans (Douchi, 豆豉): Optional but adds umami depth.

The food was fine, but the staff forgot to include soy sauce. I received it and just sat there staring at it — I couldn’t eat it because it was too bland.

I was craving some Chinese food, and I wanted to give this place a try, as I always see this place full. The building itself is not that great, but this place is a hole in the wall. I got my food to go, and the packaging and the portions were great. The food tasted pretty fresh.

This is a true hole in the wall gem with home style asian food and very sweet staff. I loved being able to laugh with the workers. I adore the Walnut Shrimp from here. Other dishes we got are the General Tso’s Chicken, Orange Chicken, and a combo plate. The servings are hefty and one dish could easily feed 2-3 people. This place is great for family dinner. The Walnut Shrimp is so heavenly to me. The sauce is creamy and sweet. The shrimp has delicious breading, and the orange slices & cabbage compliment the dish very well. The Orange Chicken was also great. It wasn’t my favorite dish due to a lighter citrus flavor than I expected, but still a great quality dish. Perfectly cooked chicken and the perfect subtle crunch to the breading. The orange slices were candied and were great to eat, skin and all. The General Tso’s Chicken was also very flavorful. I loved the vegetables that seeped their flavors into the chicken as well. It wasn’t very spicy. From the combo plate, there are honorable mentions for the ham fried rice and the low mein noodles, especially the latter. The low mein had a smoky flavor to it that was spectacular. Overall I plan on coming back since I’ve had multiple positive experiences here! It’s a great atmosphere.

I loved the portion they give for the price you pay! The food tasted pretty decent and got plenty of parking space. They do not got refillable drinks in case you don’t like to pay for every soda you drink. I will say the atmosphere is not the best since it’s a pretty simple and old looking establishment, but overall it’s a great place if you want to get your money worth.

Most dishes were extremely tasty! Beef green beans 5/5 amazing flavor, beef was tender and green beans cooked perfect!! Walnut shrimp 5/5 So much shrimp! Tasted fresh, seasoned perfectly and walnut were fresh and crispy! Chefs special Fried tofu shrimp 2/5 - ordered for nostalgia bc it’s honestly so good if made correct but this had no seasoning at all! Even the sauce tasted bland! Should’ve done the salt Baked tofu or calamari instead.. Service 5/5 noticed waiter even spoke Spanish for other customers Portions were large expect to pay $12-20 per entree but they’re huge. I would stick to popular dishes that get reviewed bc that one tofu dish I got was so bad and such a contrast to the other great stuff we ordered.

Great Chinese "hole the wall" restaurant. The food was really tasty. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the Shrimp and Broccoli. The salt & pepper shrimp reminded me of one of my favorite Chinese dishes in Atlanta at our favorite Chinese restaurant there. So good! A little more breading than I like, but the flavor was on point. Served with jalapeños, we asked for extra. Really good. The shrimp and broccoli was surprising tasty as well! Thought I'd be taking home some leftovers, but nope. We finished those two off. The fried whole fish wasn't that great IMO. Zero flavor, just an over fried fish. They had the roast duck and said it was OK, but not their favorite. All in all, we'll be back! I want that salt & pepper shrimp again!

Last time I went here, the service was horrible. The wait staff now is excellent. The food has always been very good. This time was no exception. My family has their normal items to order...and again, food was great. Glad the staffing has improved. The dining area leaves a lot to be desired...but do not let that hold u back. Give it a try.

Went there for the first time yesterday. When we first got there, my son had to use the bathroom, which was downstairs. The basement did not seem very clean at all and there was a bin with chicken outside the bathroom, completely uncovered. My first impression was that the restaurant seemed uncleanly but gave them the benefit of the doubt and ate there anyway. We got the vegetable lo mein. The food was delicious and seemed reasonably priced. However, my son and I were eating the leftovers the next day and I saw something on his plate that looked odd. It was dark, thin, and was about as long as my fingernail. Looking at it closer, it appeared to possibly be rat feces. I cut it in half to assess the consistency, hoping it may have been a piece of some form of food, but it did not seem to be the consistency of vegetable or noodle. I Googled rat feces to see if it looked the same, and sure enough, it looked just like the pictures. I'm not an expert on rat feces but I can't figure out what else it might have been. Now, after reading the reviews, it seems like the likelihood that it is rat feces is very possible. It also seems like the filthy basement situation is common.

Bring your kids! They have these cool yogurt drinks with a bottle nipple. And gave my daughter a princess plate and fork to eat with. Plus they have frozen drinks with Boba, i prefer without the Boba balls. We've been coming here for years and have yet to be disappointed. It's always the same man who helps us and is so kind and patient. Food wise, we are picky. But my kids love the fried rice and sesame chicken. I love the pot stickers and dumplings.

Love this cozy little Shanghainese restaurant, the atmosphere is cute. The food was half and half on how I felt about it, but most of it was really good! The Shanghai dumplings were juice, but I don’t think I’d necessarily call them soup dumplings. They definitely don’t give you a spoon or chopsticks like they would for soup dumplings. I’d give them a 3.5 out of 5. For the lunch special we tried three different mains. The green beans reminded me exactly of what I’ve eaten in China, but the potatoes were just French fries..? I’d still rate it a 5 out of 5 because the sauce was amazing on it too! The kung po was good, and I’d order it again, but I think it was just slightly above average. My friend liked the orange chicken, but it was not for me. Kind of dry, and on the sweeter side. I don’t like orange chicken in general though. And the fried rice was pretty standard. We also tried the passion fruit boba, and I liked the base but I did not like the boba itself. It was undercooked so it was kind of hard. We also got barley tea and it wasn’t as dark as I like, tasted like it might be a blend, but it was hot and it’s hard to argue with that on a chilly day.

The taste is okay. The lunch plates are good but the regular menu is not worth the price. The serving is very small. I was surprise that the $10 plate of fried rice alone is just the same amount on lunch plates (given that lunch plate is around that price too). My husband and I spent $100+ to try different dishes but we're not happy. We might still go for the lunch plates but never the regular menus again.

Oh I LOVED this place! I'm no critique but the did was amazing! I got the dumplings, egg drop soup, strawberry boba (chewing drink) and overall, the dumplings where the best. The service was great, the people there were kind, and when my family had a misunderstanding, we got a thing on the house. Such a quiet place too! It's small, but it's cozy, and if anyone has sensory issues, this is the perfect place. I actually have audhd and it was super nice. Please, PLEASE go here! It needs more recognition.

5 stars all day. Cozy little restaurant with great service and the food was amazing. The General Tso's was probably the best I've ever had. The beef and broccoli wasn't bad and the ham fried rice was good. My only complaint is the portions could be just a little bit bigger. But if you want good quality fresh food I highly recommend this little spot

Birthday dinner was very delicious last night. The couple who own s is so cute and just served my family first before eating themselves. There such good people very friendly. Clean bathrooms.

I was SHOCKED at the quality of the food, since it is a boba place. High quality EVERYTHING, even the boba is untouchable. I got the Taro boba and fat noodles with beef. Loved them both. Also, Dee is the most adorable old man you’ll ever know. You should go if you want to eat happiness.

Very delicious menu dishes. I recommend trying all the Currys, fried egg rolls, the lemongrass dish! The sesame chicken was really good as well, but the curry dishes are amazing. Haven't had a chance to try the noodle soup there yet. Definitely worth giving this place a try.

Not very impressed by the food here. It got great reviews and I even talked to a lady picking up a to-go order who said it was her favorite Chinese restaurant, so I had high expectations, however, they fell very short. I ordered the vegetarian egg rolls and they were so burnt and hard that they were hardly edible and lacked flavor - all you could taste was the extremely crispy wrapper that had the texture of chewy burnt cardboard. I also got the Szechuan chicken and it had a very odd, sweet flavor to it, which was unlike Szechuan I've had anywhere else. I didn't care for either, but the worker assisting me at the counter was extremely polite and friendly and the portion sizes were large.

Super is a fantastic server! He went above and beyond for us. Very friendly, and so welcoming. It was our first time here. I ordered the Hủ Tiếu Mỹ Tho Khò (Dry Vietnamese Pork & Seafood Noodle Soup w/ Broth on the side). The portion was massive. It was delicious. The pork char-siu was moist and tender. The broth on the side was light and savory. I rate my order a 4/5. It only came with pork & shrimp. When I get this type of dish, I also usually see some quail eggs and calamari, but other than that, the dish still had a lot of flavor. I would get it again. My wife ordered Mì Wonton (Wonto Noodle Soup). There was plenty of pork char-siu in this one as well. It came with a crispy fried shrimp cracker, wonton, and Napa cabbage. The broth was clear and refreshing, and the in-house chili sauce had a good kick to it. My wife rates her 5/5. I also ordered the egg roll appetizer. It was very crispy and delicious. Overall rating I give this place a 5☆. Awesome service. I would recommend this place.

Shanghai Cafe has the kindest staff. They are friendly and willing to take the time to explain their dishes to you. Our party ordered the Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken combination plate (with ham fried rice and a Vietnamese egg roll), egg drop soup, along with cream cheese wontons and the tempura vegetable platter. Our food was served to us quickly and every item was hot and delicious. The portions are large. Plan on taking a lot of food home, which makes this restaurant very well worth the money! Our waiter was quick to take away dishes that were no longer needed and to refill our water. He was attentive and made us feel appreciated. I’ve been coming here for years and it seems that the food just keeps getting better. Shanghai Cafe is one of my favorite places to go to in the city. I highly recommend.

This place is so cute! First time eating here tonight as take out and it was a really great experience. The front desk service was very polite. They offered me a beverage as I waited. The owner was also very sweet. The food was also amazing!! I’m so excited there is a vegan/vegetarian friendly restaurant in town. Portions are great and not overpriced. See photo. I ordered the vegetarian hot and sour soups. Vegetarian beef moo goo, orange veggie chicken and Chinese flat noodles with tofu (just to try a bit of everything) and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely coming back as a regular!

Huge portions! 1 entree could’ve easily fed 2. We ended up with lots of leftovers. There was a lot of selection and vegetarian/vegan options. The party loved the Kung Pao Tofu. I got the Mushu Wrap, which was okay, but I think I’d try something else next time. Our server was very friendly and personable.

The food here was just okay. I got the garlic wings, yakisoba, and pon pon chicken. The garlic wings were fried, and a bunch of pressed garlic is pressed over them after the fact. They weren't very inventive with them. The yakisoba was nothing to write home about. It was salty, and the sauce had no depth. The pon pon chicken was good, a mix of sweet and savory. The crunchiness was just the right texture. I also had fresh squeezed lemonade that was actually pretty good. Overall, though, this wasn't very impressive.

I love how they had vegan options, but ordered the general tso chicken extra spicy and there was no spice and the sauce is super super sweet. I waited there for takeout, ate it immediately and the egg flower soup came out cold and the fried rice has absolutely zero flavor. Way better options for Asian around town.

This was my first time here and it did NOT disappoint. The food was amazing and our waitress was so kind and actively attended to our needs. Last week, my friends were visiting in town from Vegas and they couldn't agree more that this food was amazing! We had a little of everything.. the walnut shrimp, seasame chicken, pho and more!

The service from Jay was great. He was polite and attentive. Pros- comfy seats, clean room, good food, good service. The basil drink is super good Sesame chicken is also super good Music is … kinda weird for my taste? But other people could be into it . It’s a little cold in here so bring a jacket. Their Pom Pom chicken is okay. The serving size is sparse. I was shocked when I got home and realized how small of a portion it was. We usually go to Charlie Chows, But, we wanted to try a new restaurant downtown that's close to us. I won't go back. I can get better food elsewhere and twice the amount for the same price or less. We've ordered Pom Pom chicken twice, there won't be a 3rd time. We've been disappointed both times. Plus, it's too crunchy on top of tiny pieces of chicken. The 2nd time we ordered, we were thinking, maybe they had an off evening or they were short staffed. Nope. I'll stick with Charlie Chows and Mi La Cai from here on out for our go to take out restaurants.

Service was great and the atmosphere was solid. Nice spot right downtown. But the prices are just way too much here for what you get. The Vietnamese coffee is $8.5?? I got it because I love that usually and it seemed like any vietnamese coffee but with cream on top. I'm sorry but that price is too much. The other menu items seemed well done but sort of uninspired and typical, not worth $17 per plate. Really nice people though.

Have gotten this food multiple times over the last year or so. Generally I think the food was pretty good... But just got it door dashed recently and was really disappointed. The cheese won tons were ok, kinda low on filling and seemed to have some neon orange coloring on top of them. The fried rice as a side had a few pieces of egg sparsely hidden within and nothing else. Portions are excellent, hoping this was just an off night for them and not that it's going downhill.

Great gem of a place in Trolley Square. Best Egg Foo Yung I've ever had. Huge portion of two pancakes and divine gravy. Our server was great without being pretentious. Def check this place out!

I can’t give more than one star since I went for dinner around 5pm on a Monday. The OPEN sign was on and the sign on the door states it’s open on Mondays, but there was no one inside and the lights were off. I even knocked a few times. As I was standing there, reading the glowing reviews on my phone, another couple walked up to go inside, only to be disappointed. I will probably never go again since it’s a bit out of the way and parking was a problem.

I’ve dined in and ordered takeout. Food is decent, service less so. Called in tonight; the recording indicated it was open. Drove there to place the order and wait, but it was closed. The sign on the door showed new hours; it should have been open. On the bright and delicious side, dinner from Thai Garden Bistro was wonderful! Owner: I realize that unforeseen circumstances arise. Please adjust your recorded phone message and so that potential patrons are spared the inconvenience.

Classic, more Americanized-Chinese food, but WAY better than I originally expected. It was super clean and service was fast and friendly. My date and I thought it would be funny to order the Triple Won Won and the Triple soup, and im so glad we did! The soup was amazing and the Honey Shrimp and vegetables in the Triple Won Won are way better than Panda Express, for one. We also tried the sparkling yogurt and it was surprisingly good. I definitely recommend for anyone in the Trolley Square area!

The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Triple of Won Won, and it was packed with flavor. The pepper steak was tender and perfectly seasoned—definitely the best of the three. My wife ordered the Kung Pao chicken, and it was so tasty she didn’t want to share! But she did. Generous portions, excellent flavors, and a wonderful dining experience overall. We’ll definitely return.

We had lo mein, general Tso (2 orders), salt and pepper spare ribs, Kung Pao chicken, shrimps, Xiao long bao and pork wonton in spicy chili sauce. The general Tso was good enough to get a second order. Total came to $119. Portions are not as big as some other places but the quality was really good and the dishes freshly prepared. The service was efficient and the waiters were really nice. I would have given it 5 stars but the place was a little old and the blinds next to me could have used some cleaning. Overall good enough to go back. The bathrooms were impeccable compared to other Chinese restaurants.

Excellent experience! The food was very good; hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Easily the quickest I’ve ever had food brought to the table at any restaurant. Service was prompt and efficient, making the whole meal smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We visited Chinese Taste for my sister's birthday - and it was wonderful! We visit the Chinese Market often and this was our first time getting dinner at Chinese Taste, and we were very impressed with the flavors and service! We loved the Orange Chicken, General Tso Chicken, Ham fried Rice, and Singapore Shrimp Rice Noodles the most! We will be visiting again soon!

The best food ever. We tried the Mongolian Chicken and Chicken Curry, and they were both delicious! The Cream Cheese Wontons, Egg rolls, and Egg Drop Soup were all delicious appetizers too.

Food was amazing. We especially enjoyed the Shanghai dumplings and cumin lamb. Highly recommend this place.

I stopped by the little China Town next door but the parking was horrific. I lucked out and came next door to this restaurant. The menu is extremely well diverse with options for vegetarian and lamb, seafood, pork, chicken etc. I ordered pork rice noodles with hot and sour soup. The single portion of soup was very generous not like the tiny portions you normally get in other places. The soup was definitely made fresh and the rice noodle dish was a generous portion that had great flavors and lots of pork pieces. I’m very glad the parking was terrible and that I ventured next door to this restaurant. The service was stellar and the restaurant is spotless, modern and well kept. I will be back here to try more of their offerings.

The Boiled Beef in Hot Sauce was tender and smooth. However, there were some issues leading to deductions: Minus 1 point: A steel wool fragment was found in the Twice-Cooked Pork. However, the staff acknowledged the error with a good attitude and offered a 10% discount on the meal, hence only a one-point deduction. Minus 0.5 points: The Boiled Beef in Hot Sauce was served over a bed of cabbage, and there was an additional charge for rice. Service: 4.5/5 The staff were friendly and attentive, surpassing the service at the neighboring Lanzhou Noodle restaurant. However, there was a lapse in quality control of the dishes. Shouldn't a new dish have been prepared in light of the issue? Environment: 5/5 The restaurant's decor was comfortable, featuring Chinese-style paper umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. The dining environment was clean and hygienic, with well-maintained tables.

Great for lunch, large portions and very affordable. We went around 1:00, there was no wait and service was quick although the server spoke little to no English. I would highly recommend the Snowball Shrimp for great flavor. The Cashew dishes are way too bland and taste very similar to the egg drop soup. There should be additional spicy condiments available on the tables. This was a very trendy, fun restaurant many years ago but now feels a bit old and tired, really needs a facelift and good cleaning. Patio seating is available but looks onto traffic and the parking lot. Parking can be tricky during rush times.

I can't believe they're closing! We used to eat here daily in the early 90's when I worked for a little sports store in the same plaza. Everyone has always been so friendly and the food - DELICIOUS! Loved it. I use to go here over 13 years ago when we lived in the area. I remember great Chinese. Today I had the Asian soup with rice noodles and pork it was very delicious. Perfect late lunch on a clod day. Great atmosphere, quite in the late afternoon. Very clean. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Mediocre at best. First photo is “egg drop soup”. It’s just watery chicken broth, veggies, and a fully boiled egg. Second photo is supposedly “Lomein”. No flavor. The noodles I got as my combo side had more flavor and were actual lomein noodles. The ham fried rice is super plain. All plain food items aside, the shrimp was pretty decent. For the price, spend your money somewhere else. Suggestion: Joy Luck

I'm so sad that Sampan is closing because it was our first time there and we had such a good experience! The food was absolutely delicious, portion sizes were huge, and the service was wonderful as well. Visit them while you still can!

This is the closest Chinese joint to my home so it's my go-to place for takeout. It's always fine. I'm rarely disappointed, never amazed, but usually pleased. The restaurant is clean, service is quick, and the staff is friendly. The only real complaint I have about this place is their constant lack of consistency with their more complex dishes. I'm a creature of habit who often orders the same thing but here, it's often different. What you love one day will be totally different the next. The first time I had their curry I absolutely fell in love with it and couldn't wait to get it again. I've had it twice since and it's a completely different dish. Same thing with their Mongolian Beef, Lemongrass Chicken, and a few other favorites of mine. Regardless of how it turns out, it's convenient and satisfying. The flavors, quality, etc, are very similar to what you would get at a Chinese buffet - only cooked to order.

This is a really upscale smaller authentic Chinese restaurant. We enjoyed all the dishes but were a little disappointed we had to pay extra for rice, and that the $18 beef dish was mostly onions. Besides that, happy with service who continually refilled our water and everything was fast. The inside feels very modern Chinese and I enjoyed the cleanliness of the restrooms and restaurant. I recommend the fried buns with pork, but I wish they served it with something besides raw onions, perhaps some freshly spiraled cucumbers? Or maybe make it an option to have grilled onions with it. The chow fun was a very generous and a delicious size with plenty of meat, which the Mongolian beef wasn’t, it should have been called Mongolian onions with a sprinkle of beef pieces. The mapotofu is made with a numbing spice which we weren’t used to, it wasn’t overwhelming but I’d stay away if you don’t like numbing spices. The restaurant makes everyone feel very Chinese when the existing place settings don’t have forks. I’d suggest having bowls and spoons and forks for everyone, especially if they’re eating family style. The just plates was too American for me but the chopsticks was a redeeming factor. I’m leaving four stars because there wasn’t enough meat and we had to pay for rice.

This Chinese restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The food is cooked to order, arriving hot, fresh, and absolutely spectacular. The General Tso’s Chicken was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of flavor and heat, the Lemon-Crusted Shrimp was crisp and delightful, and the Mongolian Beef was tender, savory, and to die for. Everything tasted fresh and carefully prepared. The atmosphere was calm—not overly busy—making it a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic, delicious, and memorable flavors. Highly recommended 👌

Heard about this place from a friend that said Beijing really knows how to do spicy and flavor balancing. I thought it was funny how the first thing I noticed when I walked in was that you could smell the spice! We had the General Tao’s Chicken lunch special, scallion pancakes, and a beef chow fun plate. The portion sizes are well worth the price and the flavors were all on point. We didn’t really find the General Tao’s to be spicy but I’m sure they have much spicier dishes that would knock me out lol. I’ve had troubles finding places in Utah with good beef chow fun, but this place definitely does it right! Overall, I’d highly recommend giving this place a try. The dishes we had give me confidence that the rest of the menu is just as good, or better.

A chef recommended this place and it did not disappoint! I got a smorgasbord all for myself. The fried rice was perfectly cooked and a large portion I can eat all week. The sesame chicken was so crispy with an addicting flavor. The smashed cucumbers were so good, getting me to eat more veggies. The chicken and green beans were very good but I was very full and only had a few bites. Come check out this special spot for some delicious Chinese food.

The food here was pretty good. It’s not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but I will for sure be going back. I really enjoyed the pot stickers and the spring rolls. The fried rice was different from most others I’ve had but I really did enjoy it. I suggest you try all three of those dishes.

It can be open for business until 10 p.m., which is a good choice if you have dinner late at night. Except for the hard rice, all the other dishes are good. The waiters are polite and there are plenty of parking spaces.

The beef chow fun noodles were amazing and a reason for a visit to Bei Jing alone! Perhaps the best noodle dish I've ever had in Utah. We also ordered Tofu in House Special Spicy Sauce--which was really tasty and tongue numbing with the use of peppercorns (the leftovers were even better the next day with rice). The fried rice was very good--we ordered chicken. General Tso's was very crispy with a nice combination of sweet and heat on the sauce. Finally, the Chongqing Style Chili Chicken was a new texture we had never had before--very different, but delicious. Construction along 21st South is horrible, but please do this restaurant a favor and visit or order takeout. This is a nice addition to the SugarHouse area. Our family will be back for sure.

My partner and I selected this restaurant because it was in easy walking distance to our nearby hotel. What a find! We were pleasantly greeted by a gentleman, presumably the owner and seated. We ordered appetizers from the menu consisting of spring rolls, which had fresh, country vegetables and a tasty bowl of hot and sour soup. We barely finished before our main dishes arrived. My partner had a delicious platter of chicken and broccoli. The broccoli was especially yummy as it was hot and still nicely crunchy. I ordered a true veggie dish of tofu in (not too) spicy garlic sauce. The perfectly cooked tofu was accompanied by a myriad of assorted vegetables and a savory sauce that was not too spicy. I imagine, one could request the dish to be spicier but it's hard to take spicy out. I wish I lived in the area because I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

First and foremost, yum. It is HARD to find American Chinese food that is vegan. This will scratch your itch for some yummy Chinese food. Exactly the type of quick Chinese food I was looking for. I would recommend. Food was presented neatly and service was friendly. Yummy 👌🤌

This place is so good! I ordered take out and it was ready so fast. The sweet and sour chicken lunch is delicious and so much food for the price! My soup was hot and full of veggies. I will be coming back! The lady that helped me was also super sweet!

Long Life Vegi House has resurrected and we couldn’t be happier. Paired with T.F. Brewing’s most recent limited release. This place is magic!

Fast, quiet ambience, trying different options for me and my daughter. All the meat (chicken, pork, beef is made of soy vegetarian), not the shrimp or seafood is real. So we tried both. We had soy ham vegetarian fried rice, spring rolls and shrimp with spicy garlic sauce. Was good overall.

Unbelievably soft bao, very tasty filling, not a place to ball on a budget but it was well worth the price! Very fun atmosphere, see photos, and a decent variety to choose from. We both got combos with their iced tea and cucumber salads then shared a large order of their wonton soup, I also got one additional bao. Spent about $50 for the lot of it.

Found this little place by happenstance and it was lovely to come in for a quick bite. One of the owners is half Chilean and the two others are Chinese and they created a great fusion bao in honor of one of the owners Chilean heritage. As a Chilena who loves both Chinese and Chilean food the empanada boa was an awesome treat. Very cute, clean and great staff. Food was good and their Xia Bao Bao is a good price point. I love a great presentation with great food and they hit both. The carrot salad was wonderful.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while because I was excited that they had vegetarian and vegan options. I tried the Eggplant-Tofu, Bok Choy-Shiitake, and Black Sesame. The flavors blew me away; however, they left me wanting due to the lack of filling. The prices are reasonable for what they offer and the staff member that helped me out was delightful. I will be coming here again.

Cute and vibrant atmosphere! The bao breading is light, not heavy. Wish it had more meat filling but overall nice quality made. Friendly staff! Quality spot. We liked how the menu was not too much to choose from nor too little. For the dessert bao buns, the filling was more dense. We would’ve preferred a more warm custardy texture.

Yum! Bun was soft & fluffy and the filling was delicious. Very excited they have vegan options. Cucumber salad was also amazing and the worker was so sweet. Will be back 😌

I was very excited to try this place out and glad I did! Right when we walked in, we were welcomed by the staff. The decor was really cute too! The menu was simple and had both meat and non-meat options, which was a good variety. We ordered the Cha Siu Bao, Pork Cabbage Bao, Chicken Curry Bao, Dessert Coconut Bao, and a Hong Kong Milk Tea. The Baos were good, with the Cha Siu being my favorite. I wish the pork and curry had a bit more salt, but it wasn’t bad. The dessert Bao was good too and not too sweet. The Hong Kong Milk Tea was pretty decent, but I didn’t see any sugar available for me to add - not sure if it was in the back and just had to ask for it, but I was in a rush and didn’t go back to check. Overall, good experience to try this new place out.

Full House Asian Bistro was not the end of a fun morning in Park City and a place I would not go back to. Our favorite place closes too early so we looked for another place to try and decided to try Full House Asian Bistro. Parking is ample outside and it was not very crowded inside as well. The staff was nice and that is about all that was great about the place. We ordered calamari, General Tsao's lunch special with fried rice, bento box lunch with tempura and teriyaki chicken, and the Alaskan and Mexican roll. All the dishes were not great with General Tsao's and the soups miso and wanton being OK. The sushi is not done well and the rice is too much. The teriyaki chicken is an after thought in flavor. The calamari is over breaded and the tempura dipping sauce has no real flavor. Overall we did not enjoy the dishes and will not return.

One bite of my food & I left it. My food was swimming in grease and the brown rice was gooey. Tasteless. It's not $10-$20 more like $20+. Flys everywhere. He was swatting flys while we were there. He was kinda rude as well.

Stopped here for lunch while on a motorcycle ride. Had the House Special Chicken. Really good. Dog came quick and was hot. I did not care much for the fried wonton but the main dish was really good.

This Asian Bistro has great food selections, decent portions and the customer service was on par. I would recommend this place if you are a native to Utah or visiting from out of town. We had the Pork lo mein, fried rice, orange chicken and some white rice. Overall it was worth going back to.

This is a great find! I loved the appetizers. I had a spring roll, and the hot and sour soup. We tried the Mongolian beef and the Kung Pao beef—Both were good but I’d definitely get the Mongolian again. I also tried the seaweed salad and it was really interesting. The flavor was great and it was fun to try something new. My friends got sushi, fish, and Kung pao chicken. The service was excellent. Our drinks were never empty, the food was done quickly and it was hot and so fresh. I would definitely go back! Thank you!

Soup for two, four small dishes, one beer, one sake, two hot teas= $114 before tip. The food is good but expensive for what you get. We usually eat Chinese in SLC for much less but Christmas Day is for splurging.

Not great food but everyone here was just wonderful. Ordered c Salt and pepper calamari. Well no seasoning on it at all. Put my own salt and pepper on it. Chicken and beef was ok but nothing I would say that I had to come back to. Last night in park city and disappointed my meal was not great.

Money laundering?? No idea how this place stays in business. I always wondered what it was like at a Kitchen Nightmares restaurant. This was easily the worst meal I’ve had in Park City. I’d recommend going anywhere else that’s open. I dined here on a Sunday around 8 PM and was the only customer in the restaurant. Meanwhile, 8–10 staff members were eating takeout pizza at the bar—not only a questionable sanitary practice but also a telling sign that they, too, preferred to eat elsewhere. The food itself was mushy, soggy, and oddly uniform in taste, as if it had just been defrosted. Given the restaurant’s current 3.3-star average, I’d say that’s pretty generous.

I really am one to root for the underdog... unless the underdog does not deserve to be lauded. Such is the case of Park City Chinese & Thai. I picked up my order from the restaurant, which is decked out in festive red lanterns and tassels. But the food was nothing to celebrate. The lo mein, labeled as #1 most liked, was bland. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, but all the veg were tender crisp. I had to douse the dish in soy sauce for flavor. The orange chicken was also bland with no orange flavor. The only redemptive dish was the potstickers (#3 most liked), which were crisp, chewy, and had good flavor. But at $11 for 6, this can easily be passed over. I've been to many restaurants in Park City (reviews coming soon!), and this gets the least stars. Is it the worst Asian restaurant I've ever been to? No, that honor still belongs to Empress of China in Melbourne, Australia.

This Chinese/Thai restaurant was a 5 minute walk from our hotel, so we decided to have dinner here, despite the very mixed reviews. The atmosphere was a bit strange as there was only one other diner eating in, but a bunch of staff members doing little to nothing. There is plenty of indoor seating, though. The service was friendly but a bit sluggish. It took quite a while to flag our server down for water refills and the bill. We started with the Pan Fried Pork Potstickers, which were really crispy and the dipping sauce was good as well. We also split a Bowl of Wonton Soup, which was pretty bland but nothing terrible. Unfortunately, the entrees weren’t very appetizing. I tried the Thai Coconut Chicken, which was okay, but not great. The chicken had that grisly/fatty texture and the coconut sauce almost tasted slightly sour. My Mom tried the Park City Fried Rice and she noted that all she could really taste was a grease/burnt taste. We didn’t really finish our entrees and spent over $50 on our dinner so we probably wouldn’t come back, but the food wasn’t nearly as appealing as some of the reviews suggest. Just, probably not the best quality ingredients being used here.

My husband and I loved the food! We both got different pork curries and the pork is delicious. Most Thai food I've had has had meat that was only flavored by the curry, but this pork was it's own flavor that blended very nicely. Also, I got the egg fried rice for a side and it almost had a smokey flavor that I quite liked.

They have a nice little location that's convenient and I like that they were playing Central C. They have a very nice low comfy lights and I also like the decorations. I got the lunch special and as expected it was a smaller portion. I think it should be enough for a normal person but I would want more food for $17. I got the gunpow Chicken. The chicken itself is really good. The fried rice you can tell they made in the morning. The miso soup is all right. I would recommend it. I would say if you're looking to get something it's not bad and it's somewhat cheap compared to the rest of Park City.

Most of the time I like this place. Tonight I had to repeat for the server multiple times what I wanted. She did not check on me or offer a refill on my water. I waited for her to notice I was done before she brought boxes and again to pay. Aside from people getting take out I was the only one eating. This is the second time the service has been mediocre. The food is good though and there are gluten free options.

Edit from the next day: I got food poisoning from dining here. DO NOT GO HERE Ordered the green curry, it was incredibly sweet. Disgusting. Extremely weird. The vibes were strange, not authentic at all. There was barely any workers and they barely spoke English. I ordered white rice but got fried, which i strongly strongly suspect was warmed from frozen costco bags. Extremely expensive. The portion sizes were huge which would be a good problem to have if it were any good. Wish I checked the reviews beforehand

There were not many people in the restaurant when I got there, but it took some time before the waiter came to take my order. The wonton soup was good. They brought out the wrong dish (sesame chicken, which was better than what I ordered, but they took it back). Egg rolls were good. The sweet and sour chicken came out soggy like it had been sitting in the sauce for a long time. The ham fried rice was somewhat bland.

PQQ...PRICE to QUANTITY ratio was just right, and the QUALITY I felt was right on. The Sweet and Sour Chicken had a nice crust that soaked in the tasty sauce. My Beef and Vegetable plate had nicely sliced beef and veges that really went well with the dark sauce. I couldn't finish so I got some take out. Nice date spot but might be a little pricy with children (they are picky you know).

A nice little place. Entrance is quite insignificant but inside is spacious and inviting. A very clean place and service was very good. Had ordered the szechwan shredded beef with fried rice and hot n sour soup. The beef was prepared with onion and carrots which added a bit of crunch and is in brown sauce not very spicy but delectable. The fried rice was not oily and very well made, now on the soup...all I can say is I've had better.

Tried this place as somewhere new from our normal places we eat. Food came out quick since we were at the end of lunch so not many customers. Service was normal and the atmosphere was decent. The server did not explain the Szechwan beef sauce well and is not a dish I would never order again. The orange and general Tsao chicken comes out with non breaded chicken and pretty average at best. The fried rice is average and nothing special. The egg rolls are horrible and have no flavor. The wanton soup has a great broth but undercooked shells on the wantons so a flour taste and a little tough. Will not be going back to this place.

I have not been there twice in the same week. I had the Lemon Chicken and fell in love. I was craving it from that first visit. So 3 days later we grabbed some friends and went again. There is one particular waiter that gives exceptional service. He had remembered us from our first visit and what I had ordered. I will verify his name and add it to this post. My favorites ate the crunchy noodles and the Lemon Chicken, of course. This will be our “go-to” from now on.

It’s okay. Dined here with family one day when in Park City, serving “msg free” Chinese dishes. I personally didn’t find anything particularly special about the food in this place except that staff are welcoming, it has clean toilet facilities and that fine dining ambience. Prices are $$. Got to know about this place as recommended by a sales lady in Tanger who spoke highly of it stating “it’s one of the best in town”. I guess it depends on the taste buds individually. For me “it’s okay “. My family loved the place and the food and yes they said they would like to come again. Me I’ll go because they would. 😊

I eat here pretty regularly, and I have never been disappointed. Szechwan Kitchen delivers consistent quality year-round for a great price. The inside is well lit, very clean, and has a great neighborhood feel. It's not too casual, but not so over decorated that it's gaudy. The menu, while big, offers lots of great options and they do label their menu as to what is Vegan and Gluten Free. Their soups are always wonderful, and I would go as far as saying that they have the BEST Crab Rangoon in town.

Delicious food, great service, and love that the music is chill and not too loud. Mo did a great job making sure our drinks never ran out. I love that the food is more fresh and original than other Chinese places. Great experience!

Our family of 6 had a a great experience for dinner- great friendly service and delicious food. We had a number of gluten free meals and appreciated that they came out on red plates to signify an allergy. Everything was yummy and perfectly prepared. Izzi took great care of us- kept our waters full and brought everything out quickly since we were in a bit of hurry. We haven’t been here in a long time but are looking forward to coming back!

Moe was absolutely outstanding! He went above and beyond in every aspect of his service, showing exceptional attention to detail and genuine care for the customer experience. His warm personality, attentiveness, and ability to pick up on guests' preferences and interests truly made the experience memorable. We couldn’t have asked for better service!

Chicken was a little mushy for orange chicken. Noodles were fantastic. Great atmosphere. Lettuce wraps were outstanding!

Gluten-free Chinese food heaven! I’m so happy that we got to come try out their gluten-free options. I haven’t had walnut shrimp or orange chicken since I found out I couldn’t have wheat. Their gf walnut shrimp tasted amazing and was exactly what I was craving. Their gf orange chicken was very fresh tasting and very good too. We also got the gf house fried rice and it was hard to stop myself from eating the whole plate. My kids got the lo mein noodles and the bobo platter and they said they really like it too *not gluten free*. Our server, James, was awesome, friendly and we appreciate him taking care of us especially during a busy Christmas Eve night. We will definitely be back.

Wow, what an amazing Chinese gluten-free and dairy free food experience! We had a big fun day at Lagoon and we could find almost nothing at the park that we could eat so we headed over here for a yummy dinner and they did not disappoint! They have a dedicated fryer, delicious breaded meats, and so many great options! Kara enough about this place especially for gluten-free and dairy free. My sister who’s also egg free enjoyed so much!

Ordered through a delivery app and arguably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. All of the dishes had a pool of liquid at the bottom - even the Lo mein. The chicken and broccoli had no flavor and tasted as if a can of chicken and frozen broccoli were microwaved together. Bonus points if you can guess what kind of meat they gave me in this dish (see photo).

This place offers the best a restaurant owner can offer to any customer. There aren't many places where the food is so good you always feel at home. I have shared many meals here with my family I am so greatful for. I appreciate the memories of this place. Theis place is always accommodating. Thank you for being who you are in the world. Steamed potstickers, orange chicken #6 on dinner menu, #7 chicken lo-mein with Szechuan, kung poo 3 kinds. Food was not all served at the same time. Szechuan was crispy on outside, but not warm on inside. Clean on the inside. Food was good portions and warm when served.

Servers are great and no problem with the atmosphere, but the food was honestly quite horrible. I had orange chicken, my girlfriend pineapple chicken, and it tasted like dog food. The fried rice was god awful, and even the soup was misleading and way thicker than expected for Chinese hot and sour soup. I hate to leave negative reviews, but I couldn’t in good faith recommend a meal here to anyone.

Great place to get some fresh food. It was super hot and tasty. our waiter was friendly and accommodating, even changed my daughter’s soup when she didn’t like the hot and sour that she chose.

Lola is an Excellent cook. Seriously Yummy! Cameron was our waiter. He explained the dishes and made sure we understood. He was Awesome. Would be five stars because they have the Chinese staples I enjoy in gluten free options. I’ve come a few times over the last few months and ordered gluten free and asked for gluten free soy sauce. Each time I was told the server had asked the owner for gluten free soy sauce and hadn’t received it yet. I will change to five stars next time I get gluten free food from here and there’s gluten free soy sauce in my bag.

My family love The lunch special 11am-3pm mon. Thu Saturday. The foods is right side for lunch.🙂 We haven't been back for years , now 9-11-2025, my family and I are disappointed that the pitcher of water have a fly in the water and the services went down hill ! My son favorite salt and Calamari is now rings, that 's he does not like, Calamari rings, you get little on the plate!!

The people here were really nice. We got seated quickly and got our soup served to us right after ordering, which was great. Our food did take a little while, but not a long time considering we were a group of 7 and we did have the soup to tide us over for a minute. The portions were large on the combination dinner platters. The individual food orders were large as well and the rice bowl that comes with it was enough for 2-3 people. The food was above par compared to other Chinese restaurants and we would definitely go here again.

Shoots in Orem is hands down one of the best! The food is incredible, the potstickers are a must-try. You can share family-style or get your own, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Reservations are super easy to make, which makes planning birthdays or special nights out a breeze. We love coming here for birthdays, it’s always such a fun and delicious experience. Highly recommend!

Food was good but not amazing. Service was polite but slow. It took 5 to 10 minutes to get boxes after asking for them. Servings are pretty big.

Overall great Chinese food! Tangerine chicken is a strong option, as is the Sweet and Sour. Skip the chow mien, unfortunately. Loved the crab cakes! Try to go on a weekday though, or make sure you make a reservation — long weekend wait times.

First time going. I have a regular place down in Provo that I love and so I was hesitant about trying a new Chinese place but Shoots did not disappoint. The price is what you’d expect out of a restaurant in this location. We got the shrimp tempura appetizer (Japanese I know but it was pretty good) and it comes with various fried vegetables as well. I got the Black Pepper Steak dish that came out on a skillet. The flavor was fantastic. My wife got the Fried Tofu dish and the tofu was cooked wonderfully. We ended up getting the special tempura cheesecake for dessert and it was fantastic. Honestly I’d go back for only dessert that is how good it was. All in all I was impressed and will more than likely be back.

We love Shoots! Every menu item that we have tried has been delicious. My spouse and I like to invite friends to dine with us there and share dishes. And everyone has been delighted.

I've been to Shoots twice and I had a great experience both times. The food is very yummy and the portions were big enough that I was able to take home leftovers. We went on a Tuesday evening and were seated immediately and the food came out very quickly.

We took a chance after an event in the area and tried this new Chinese restaurant. We were not disappointed. It was amazingly wonderful food. Very tasty and we wanted to eat more, but we got so full we had to stop. We started off with some Potstickers (sorry, no pictures), and while the sauce was a little strong for me, the Potstickers were soft, tender, and something I could have eat for my entire meal. We then ordered noodles, fried rice, Tangerine Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. The noodles were covered in a little too much sauce and the friend rice was descent, but nothing over the top. But that is the only complaints! The Tangerine Chicken was super delicious and I have a new favorite there. The Beef and Broccoli was super tender and the vegetables made the entre complete. The food was super delicious and so scrumptious that we are going to go back, hopefully very, very, soon. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was helpful and super nice. Awesome place.

I haven’t been to Logan in a few years and I wanted to eat here but they weren’t there on 400 N where they have been for over 35 years! I was sad cs they were so good! Then I found they had moved to 400 S. New updated restaurant. This is a pic of my lunch menu item. A lot of food for only $8!! Add a drink and tax and it’s only $11.50. Try their tiny spicy chicken. It’s the best. I wish they had a location in Salt Lake….. If you visit Logan Utah get Aggie ice cream and Mandarin Garden - the best!!!

I nearly always try a new place by getting the simplest item and work out from there.. however. The wantons were just small crackers due to over cooking, and my Chicken chow mein had no noodles at all. I'm not even sure what soupy goop this was supposed to be. The egg drop soup had no flavor and seemed like mainly filler with no seasoning and the sweet and sour is a perfect replica of the generic stuff you can buy from sysco. I'm completely unimpressed. If this was a mistake on their part I'd say get rid or whatever the chicken goop is that I got completely and I'm not sure I'd want to come back to try the real chow mein.

The food is usually great. My issue with this restaurant is the containers they use for takeout orders and door dash. A dish with liquid (curry) should be in a container with a sealed lid. 4/5 times that I’ve ordered the red curry on DoorDash all the curry sauce spills out of the container leaving me with just veggies and tofu.

Great place for Chinese food. This was one of my husband's favorite places to eat when growing up, so we always to stop and eat some tiny spicy chicken when we are in town. We would recommend!

This is maybe my 3rd review ever good and bad. I feel like this one has earned a review and I don’t want others to experience what I did. Worst place to eat in cache valley, if you look at reviews you need to divide the old location and the new location!!! Old location was great, New location is horrible! Never had such bad service. We walked in about 8:35 and right off the bat they were telling me I had to order fast and that the kitchen closes at 9:15 (they are open until 9:30) we were waiting for my wife to meet us there so I called her and ordered so we could accommodate the staff. I ordered an A combination plate and was told they were out of food for A and needed to Order B plate (more expensive) then I was told that they were out of egg drop soup and offered hot spicy, I do not like spicy soup and asked for a discount because they did not have all the food that came with the meal I ordered. (Btw what Chinese restaurant runs out of egg drop soup?) the Manager said no I had to have spicy soup. Sorry I’m not paying for food I don’t want to eat, if your menu says something, then that is what is expected. Staff was extremely rude, I walked out! There are plenty of places to eat that want to serve you and will treat you like they want you to come again, I will never set foot through their door again!

Mandarin Garden is a great place. We’ve come many times while attending USU, haven’t been for about 5 years since we moved. We came back to visit and they moved to! The food is great still, and we love the generous portion sizes of the dishes. Will come back next time we’re in Logan.

The service was incredible! Our server made sure our take out bag had plenty of sauce and extra fortune cookies. The food was a great quick meal that was filling. It wasn’t as spicy as we were hoping for but it was a good lunch nonetheless.

The lady running the front was awesome but we ordered noodles and it was plain spaghetti not cooked in sauce very lazy. :( The lettuce wraps were the same way they use to be so good now it’s not worth ordering. Kung pow was good minus the spaghetti. Fried rice was good donut holes good.

Denise is always so friendly when I come here. She really makes this location run well and she always gives me great service. I'm always glad when she is working because I know I will have a good experience. Love the General Tso chicken it is delicious.

Had the Kung Pow and Honey sear chicken. Wow flavor explosion in my mouth. Both were great. Good friendly service. Ordered on line. Was ready when promised.

Came in at 8:30, open sign turned off. Walked in staff treated us like we were an imposition. Too busy for us. Staff very focused on cleaning up to close at 9:00. If looks could kill....we would be dead. They even turned the dining room lights off and on while we were eating. It's a shame that we were treated so poorly. The good news is our server loves to singing loudly to Taylor Swift. Ugh

Food here was awesome! The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is by far one of the best fast casual restaurants I've been to. One note tho the noodles are not the same as lo mein noodles. The noodles here are just plain noodles. I'd suggest going with the fried rice if you're going to pay extra.

We used to come here every week and the meat was always good. I decided to have a special lunch with my daughter here. We got the beef and broccoli. I have NEVER had meat that every single piece was filled with fat or gristle. My daughter was excited to eat here until she was gagging on every piece of meat. She loves meat but after eating here this time she requested to never come back again. We left without finishing. I see no reason to return after wasting food and money.

This was our first time at Asian Potato, it’s a Thai Chinese fusion place. We got the egg fried rice, sesame chicken and the Tom Kah Gai soup and the portions were so generous we had leftovers! We would definitely eat here again! Unique but delicious flavors!

Delicious, satisfying and very filling dinner. Food were served hot in reasonable time, the host was very welcoming and accomodating. The place is just a little dated and probably need some upkeeping but overall clean.

I love their food. Their egg rolls are to die for but I don't understand why they're not open during business hours from 11:00 to 9:00 Monday through Friday and this is Thursday and they're closed and it is 2:54 that they don't answer the phone. So to me this is not a great business. They're probably short on help or something. They should have a sign on the door letting people know what's going on so I only gave it to stars.

Very very good food. Drunken noodles, orange chicken, rice and curry was all very good and flavors were on a whole nether level. Service was also top notch. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!!

I ordered the eggplant. I really think it was microwaved because ate 15 min it was still very hot almost inedible. There was also no flavor (wheres the garlic) and lots of grease. Added rice to cool it down. Did not work. They took it off the bill. The staff was really nice. It was clean in the restaurant. General Taos had a good flavor but wasn't very crispy. Used 3 paper towels. Portion size was amazing.

My Yellow Curry with Chicken was delicious. Generous portion with rice. We also ordered the Bo Bo Party Plate. Very dissatisfied. It hardly looked like the photos that the restaurant posted. The atmosphere was also very disappointing. Big open, cold feeling, unwelcoming with an echo when we talked. There appears to be storage in the room where patrons sit to eat. Dirty feeling. The service was lacking. Nothing was offered other than a refill on the water. No soy sauce, or other condiments and seasonings. We won’t return. Menu items look very different from what we were served.

We picked up food for my sons bday. Mongolian beef was 90% onions, literally had to look for the beef, General Zso chicken VERY sweet, sweeter than any chicken dish I've ever had, ham fried rice has to be purchased as an entree not an option to get as a side, and the salt and pepper shrimp was just ok (definitely on the SPICY side). There were 7 of us and none of us liked the meal :/ will not be back. Panda Express would have been better.

Super clean restaurant! Heard numerous good things about this place from my husband and decided to try a few weeks ago. Not that impressed and nor was he. Everything we order didn’t have much flavor to it. Maybe it was on off night for them. Service was good!

Fantastic Chinese restaurant. It's my favorite in the greater Ogden/Roy area. I love their tangerine beef. They serve huge portions, and the food is so tasty with depth of flavors. Many Chinese restaurants server food that just serves good with a lot of mediocre, sweet sauces. ABC Mandarin serves tasty food with exceptional taste. We also appreciate the service and ambience. It's a very nice restaurant at a very affordable price. (Pics are of the combination plate...I just put the wontons, shrimp, and spring roll on another plate to keep the shell crispy).

I placed an order online got home and served up my 2 year old, my cousin and myself as we started to eat I noticed something weird in my beef and broccoli. It was literally a bug but that’s not even the worst part after finding the one bug I found 2 more. My son ate almost all his food and my cousin ate most of hers as well at this point who knows how many bugs were eaten. I called to get a refund and they would only refund the one dish when I paid for a family combo meal their family C combo witch was 38.00 dollars and for just a dish of beef and Broccoli it’s only 12 dollars so I’m only getting refunded less then half what I paid for.

All of the words written here are important but I must mention the price first as the affordability was the biggest surprise. Lunch Specials were much cheaper than our usual Chinese restaurants. The exterior doesn't look that bad, but for some reason the interior was much nicer than I expected. We wanted Chinese food from somewhere we hadn't been to and Husband has been wanting to try out this place. The interior was nicely furnished, spacious, with pleasing decor and a large fish tank. The service was quick and efficient. The food was plentiful and delicious and served hot. Husband liked his egg drop soup. I liked the hot and sour soup which is very important to me as I judge a Chinese restaurant first on its hot and sour soup. We dined in, had good service, enjoyed the lunch specials we ordered, pleasantly surprised by the interior and the prices.

This plate was absolutely FULL of food when I got it. We payed between 13-15 dollars for it, and it was the best Chinese I've had. I'm a bigger guy who eats a lot but I couldn't finish it there was so much. Service was incredible too, the waitresses were incredibly nice, and very quick with service.

This place has been a tradition for my in-laws’ family for years now. Was never particularly impressed with the food. Wasn’t bad, just OK. However today we had a gathering and it was excellent! Had two huge groups at the same time and the waitresses kept up with all of our orders, kept the drinks full, and the food was all SO fresh and tasty. I tried the Tangerine Beef for the first time and it was bomb - had to let everyone at my table have a try (and they agreed.) 5 stars, hope next time is just as good.

This place was not clean at all there was ants where we were sitting. The meats looked brown and had a wierd smell did not look good. There was also flys standing on the food and when I told the waiter all she said was “oh okay I’ll let my manager know” and we didn’t even end up eating our plate because we got grossed out.

I chose the wrong combinations of vegetables and sauces, but I’m sure I could create a good dish. They had a lot of options, but I didn’t give the food a high review because some of the vegetables didn’t taste right. In general, I think this place is a fun experience!

We stopped here while on a road trip, and without any idea of what kind of reviews or ratings the restaurant had (we didn't even know it was a Mongolian grill). We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the food. We have a favorite Mongolian grill restaurant near our home, and HuHot was better. There was a wide variety of food and sauces and the price was lower than I expected.

My family and I were there last week and the staff were so amazing! I was nursing my baby when my toddler chased after my husband and older son who were in line. I was unable to go after her, but one of the staff noticed and made a point to go over and talk to my kids while they were in line, which kept them from running away from my husband and kept them moving along the line. He was so nice and friendly with my entire family, another waitress also helped me carry my plate back to the table since I was holding my baby. My only regret was not getting the two names of the amazing employees so I could mention them here.

We love eating at the HuHot. You can’t really go wrong with this place. They have lots of choices if you want Vegan, several different protein choices and lots and lots of really good vegetables. We go here usually once a month or so. They also have a rewards program that’ll help you score free meals. I highly recommend.

Just a warning/FYI: If you want the salad and soup and rice that you pay for with your meal (that’s specifically stated on the menu as included) you must ask for it. If not you won’t receive it and you will not receive a credit or any adjustment in your bill for not receiving it. At every other HuHot we have been to they ask you if you would like soup or salad and how many rice bowls you’d like, then bring it to you. Or if they forget and you forget they give you the lunch price which is the price for just the grill-because that’s all you received. When we brought if up to our server very kindly she was very rude and snippy and stated nothing can be done. We also had our eggs given to someone else and my daughter received someone else’s seafood in her meal. We mentioned it to them and they just laughed. Luckily, our daughter isn’t allergic to seafood. And hopefully the person who got our eggs isn’t allergic. Basically, If you have allergies or want good service I would not recommend which is a shame as the food is good!

This place used to be our go to for a casual family outings. The service was great but the floors had not been mopped in some time. Our shoes were sticking to the tile floor around the food preparation area and the carpet looked liked it had not been vacuumed recently. Although the food was good, it wasn’t as good as previous visits. Because of the sticky floors I couldn’t help but wonder what other areas had not been cleaned appropriately. We won’t be back anytime soon.

I've had a good experience every time I've come in, however, there was one time I came in at 7:30pm and they had almost everything put away. My husband and I felt bad thinking we showed up right before closing so we only got a couple things and hurry and left. We heard the lady taking our order tell the cook to not make anymore after our order and she told the cashier to tell the next people that come in that they are closed. Well, we checked the hours after leaving because we felt bad and wanted to be more aware and found out they were supposed to be open til 9:30pm. I appreciate they handled us as customers but I felt this probably made someone else mad that showed up after us. I imagined someone showing up at 8pm to be told they are closed when clearly they are supposed to stay open til 9:30pm. Also, I didn't get to have the pomegranate lemonade that I wanted because they emptied out all the specialty drinks. That was a little disappointing.

I just ordered the family meal $35 which comes with 3 large entries and 2 sides. I got the grilled chicken and two sides only. I'm missing 2 large entrees. I didn't get my honey cashew chicken +$3.50? And a regular entree I forgot what it was. Their receipt machine wasn't working and got no receipt. I paid a total of around $42 Dollars for just a large entree and two sides.... Ridiculous. It was busy though. My uncle was with me and they forgot his steak entree. I'd like a refund or gift card for future purchase. Thanks.

I’ve eaten at a lot of Panda Express restaurants and this restaurant is the best one not even close to the others. Great service, clean, the food was hot and tasted great. The only thing wrong is that I’m about 6-7 hours away or I would eat there every week.

They used to at least try to offer some healthy choices. They don’t even carry unsweetened tea, everything is either full of sugar or sweetening chemicals.

I watched them pour a fresh batch of rice on top of the previous batch, which is against health regulations. Being that I'm pregnant, this makes me extra concerned for food poisoning

Date of Visit: OVERVIEW - 4.0 Came her with my wife and her friend which was visiting from Argentina. It was her first opportunity to try Americanized Chinese Food. LOCATION - 4 This place was a little hidden from us and was found after using GPS. We used a little side street to find and park. PRICE - 4 You'll find the typical price of a Panda Express here. It is just slightly over-priced. PRODUCT/SERVICES - 4 The food like almost always at any other Panda Express was delicious. We got orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and others. I was disappointed when I went and asked for soy sauce and they didn't have any in stock. POINTERS/PERKS - N/A It's Panda Express, I'm sure there are some pointers, but I'm not sure what they are nor at this location. EMPLOYEES - 4 While the employees are friendly and willing to speak Spanish to a person from Argentina they might want to know what the difference between caliente and picante, as our Argentine friend was told the chicken she chose was "hot", when in reality it was a bit "spicy".

Came into the restaurant at 9:00 p.m. they made me wait 10 minutes for teriyaki chicken and when I got it, it was reheated from who knows when and very dry me and my friend both received bad quality chicken.

First-rate service here 😊 and I enjoyed their oolong tea from teapot and small cup, the eggplant and zucchini-tofu-cashew dishes, and the fried fish appetizer. I didn’t think the sauce went too well with the fish.

I'd never been here before so I wasn't sure what the food would be like or what the restaurant would be like. Some slight issues I feel, I don't know why the bag was full of sauce at the bottom, I'm sure that can be avoided, as there was a LOT of sauce everywhere. I think it must've been a one time thing though, don't go off my experience. I honestly think you should give them a try. They seem authentically trying to provide good food. For that, they deserve at least a chance. Their steamed peach buns were incredible!

It was a very busy time so it was a little I noisy, but the food was delicious and the service even better. I'll go back.

I hate online reviews and I never do them. This place has usually been pretty good (so still three stars opposed to one). But tonight I just had takeout and the food was placed in a simple styrofoam container and had completely melted through. When I opened it it all fell through the bottom burning my hands. New cook with no common sense, I dunno? But had I opened that on my lap I would have had burns all over! They had better rethink what they’re doing before they have a lawsuit on their hands. Luckily for me just lost half my food with some burnt hands… which is enough reason for a lawsuit.

This is a great location for all you can eat Sushi! The deal comes with a soup or salad, and the miso soup is a great choice. Out of the rolls we tried I highly recommend the Golden Dragon. It was unique enough for us to want to have it again, but all were great choices! The order of dumplings were also a great appetizer as well. The staff was friendly and they gave us a coupon for next time we come! We are sure to visit again!

I made a quick stop in this place and i was interesting surprised. They have a lunch and dinner settings for the All You Can Eat. In this case i ate sushi, incredibly fresh and tasteful compares to any other sushi here in Utah. It's not expensive and it has great looks. It's a nice quiet place, it could be faster and they only offered me water but i don't mind at all, just pointing it out. Overall the flavor was fairly good, the seaweed salad is bad tho, but i haven't tried a good one here in the Valley, ingredients felt very fresh and nicely portioned, i really enjoy this luncg

I stopped by pure chance because the “all you can eat” sign caught my attention. I didn’t know anything about this place. I know for the price I can't expect much, however I think they could improve the taste of the rice and the consistency. It felt sour and sticky than usual. Upon entering the restaurant there was a strange smell. The waitress was always very nice. It is a good option but not the best. I hope they can improve because it has a good potential.

Went to Wild Ginger to try them out again since they are under new management. Let's just say I will not be coming back until major improvements have been done. The plating is sloppy, the tako nigiri tasted frozen, looks like their took a hand torch to the "seared" tuna after it was plated because you can see the burnt rice on the seared tuna nigiri and the unagi nigiri. The rolls looked super rushed and fell apart as soon as you picked it up. The sushi rolls were way over sauced. The spicy tuna was bitter. When the waitress came by to ask about our meal, I said it was less than meh and she just said ok and walked away. Only thing that is still good about this place is they kepted Amber, who had been there since the previous owners and she is now the manager and she is the nicest person on earth. When leaving, the amount of sushi rice they had available still right before closing makes me worried if that old rice will be saved for the next day. My husband and I went to visit Wild Ginger a week ago. It has a nice atmosphere We got the all you can eat , and the sushi was really good! Can’t wait to come back for more ❤️ The only complaint I can have is that we arrived and the waitress got our soup orders and never came back with the food nor to get our menu order. It was until the owner/boss of the place realized we where waiting for a long time without food, she came and gave us the best service ❤️

First time ordering food from here. Girl was nice at the register. Food was bad ordered chicken teriyaki appetizer it was pretty much under cooked chicken with sauce on top. Nothing cooked about it no flavor at all besides sauce also order house fried rice looked okay but yet again there was no flavor and tasted extremely bland. First and last time eating here.

Really like Wild Ginger. One of if not the best all you can eat sushi places in Utah County. Great selection, pretty diverse roll menu (the Sunset roll is a top choice) and plenty of Nigiri options too which are my favorite. I asked for Gluten free options and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Nice atmosphere, good service, and a great experience all around. Well done, Wild Ginger!

Came in tonight for the first time, it was some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in Utah, it was amazing. I would recommend their chicken lo mein, and orange chicken. Beef and broccoli was also super good! Our server was also super nice! Wish we would’ve tried sooner.

This is great family owned and operated restaurant. I’m not a huge fan of Chinese food so I was so happy to see they have Pho (noodle soup) on the menu. I got the rare steak noodle soup, my husband got kung pao chicken, and we got chicken pan fried noodles for our kids to share. The noodles were good but what I was expecting. It’s a big pile of somewhat hard noodles that are crispy and vegetables on top.

Saigon Café in Provo is one of our absolute favorite spots. This family-owned gem has become a go-to for me and John—the food is consistently hot, fresh, and authentic. The staff is incredibly friendly and often interacts with us like we’re part of the family, which makes the experience even better. We’ve even placed takeout orders right at closing, and they’ve still graciously taken care of us, which we’ve really appreciated! Our go-to dishes are the lemon chicken and the yellow curry—both are packed with flavor and always satisfying. Highly recommend supporting this local spot!

This is a family run business. They have been here for years. They food is good across the board. It is a mix of American-Chinese (sweet orange chicken) and Vietnamese. The dining room is old school but adequate. You go here for the food.

Talk about a BANG for your BUCK! Seriously! While the food wasn't mind-blowing, the price for it was! I got a good sesame chicken combination plate that took me from starving to gust-bustlingly full, and paid $11 for it, which includes a ≈25% tip! And this was in the second half of 2025! Speaking of their food, it is still far better than eating fast food. Their egg rolls are perfectly crispy. The peanut butter sauce that goes with the spring rolls is delicious and complements the spring rolls well! Their egg drop soup and fried rice were just ok. However, the sesame chicken was crispy, sweet, and had enough tangy flavors to satisfy me. If you live and Provo and need good, cheap Chinese food, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Chill please to eat. Great service; food came fast and warm. We got double-cooked pork and orange chicken (the orange chicken was the best of the two). It came with fried rice, egg soup, and egg rolls. All appetizers tasted amazing, especially the cheese wontons. I would work on the presentation of the plates, but the taste was excellent.

My husband took me here for Mother’s Day since I was craving Chinese, and it was the busiest I’ve ever seen it! Despite the crowd, the service was quick. Our water never got refilled, but honestly, the food makes up for it. We always get the General Tso’s and Sweet & Sour Chicken—never disappoints. I absolutely love this place. It’s a perfect middle ground for me and my husband. And the egg rolls? To die for. That hot mustard and red sauce combo for dipping is seriously next level.

Went on Christmas day. The place was packed. Got seated surprisingly fast. We got the General Toe's Chicken, Orange Peel Chicken and Cashew Chicken. All were really good and good sized portions. Food came out hot with lots of sauce. Service was slightly slow, but is expected when it's that busy. *Update* Went during the week around 1. Wasn't crowded at all. Had General Zaos and Sesame Chicken. Both were great. First time eating the sesame chicken and will definitely add it to my top favorites here. Friendly and fast service. Still one of our favorites. Update - 12/01/24. @ 2. Sunday. Was very dead. We all got their combo specials. Really good except the fried rice was a bit dry. Was surprised at the lack of service, especially considering we were the only ones there. Still love the place.

The food I ordered stated "spicy garlic chicken" which yes, there was chicken, but a majority of this meal was just sauce lathered veggies. It should be called spicy garlic veggies with a small portion if chicken. The sauce used was delicious, chicken cooked perfectly, and I was able to get a side dish of BBQ pork which was delightful. I just don't appreciate being mislead about how the meat to veggie ratio was portioned out. I'm not coming back for that reason.

I'm not sure how this place has 4 stars. My first clue was the sign as you entered the restaurant that says where to call if you have complaints. The food was not great. The Orange Chicken was okay. The fried rice was undercooked and dry. The Veggie dish I ordered tasted "off." I was really thrown off by the guy who dumped a box of snap peas on a table in the dining area and scrolled through his phone while prepping the peas. He did not clean off the table nor was he wearing gloves. Overall not a great experience. The only good thing about the whole experience was the waiter. Super friendly and very nice.

Not good. First time to have anything from this place. Got it to go. I don’t know what they are thinking this so-called “shrimp egg foo young” is, but it’s horrible. Cold dense pre-made patties of something. With shrimp in a brown sauce poured over it. Absolutely disgusting. The Generals chicken was flavorless and not spicy at all. On top of that, they didn’t put the rice in the bag either. Won’t be back. Wasted good hard-earned money trying to find a decent place in Syracuse Utah. My recommendation is to go across the street and get something from the frozen section and throw it in the microwave at home. Would be another same quality for half the price.

Cashier seemed uninterested in service, but provided it nonetheless. Portion size is great for the price. General Tsao's chicken had ZERO spiciness at all, but was still very tasty. If the menu denotes spiciness, the dish should be spicy. Shouldn't have to say it. Good prices and large menu. Dining area looks pleasant. I'd give it another go, for sure. Hope they'll address the spicy absence, meantime.

Really great Chinese food! It’s a little dingy and dusty but the god is so good! We ordered the Cashew Chicken and pork fried rice and both were absolutely delicious! The girls that work there are very friendly! Food came out pretty quick and there was no wait for a table. Definitely will be coming back to try more dishes!

Recently remodeled! I like this place, good lunch specials.The food here is so good. This is one of the better Chinese restaurants locally. Most the other restaurants have overpriced options. This restaurant is still affordable and flavorful. Great place to eat and is quiet.

I ordered five dinner combo meals, spending nearly $70. When I picked up my order, I asked the girl at the register for three chili sauces but was told I could only have two. Really? After buying five meals, being denied a simple extra sauce feels petty and unappreciative. A little generosity goes a long way.

Maybe used to be nice but is now takeout only, chow mein was fair but watery, fried rice was brown, tasteless rice with dry tough chicken pieces and egg rolls were actually spring rolls, bleah. I have questions about cleanliness.

I heard it was really good, but was disappointed. They are only open at 2pm and it's take-out only. Food wasn't bad, but I've had better for the price. I ordered the orange chicken (not spicy) and sweet and sour pork. I don't know what oil they cook with but it always tastes very off to me. Genera Tao Chicken. Chicken was extremely dry and the rice has been sitting out awhile. The veggies were good. There's a new Panda Express just down the street. That's where I will be next time.

We ate here 2 days ago, and both of us got food poisoning. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but we DEFINITELY got sick from this place, and it was painful. The owners were very polite, but the place is ran down, not heavily trafficked, and it wouldn't surprise me if they are simply using old food because of slow business. I also thought it interesting they had a sign up that they ONLY ALLOW takeout right now... a bit strange. Cannot recommend in good conscience.

I absolutely love eating here. Although when I go it's usually on a date and I let them know in advance the bills probably going to be around $60 because we ordered like six full plates and that does not cover the white rice comes with some of the dishes, plus we get egg drop soup and egg rolls for appetizers. The food seems pretty authentic it always tastes good it's always hot. The staff there are an older couple I believe. They can sometimes be a bit hard to understand but just be patient and communicate. They are very accommodating as far as you know one thing extra sweet and sour sauce or just this or that they're just really it's a great place to go. If you like shrimp you have got to try the shrimp cashew it is so super good! And they're sweet and sour chicken is phenomenal... I just cannot think of a dish that I have not just absolutely loved! I highly recommend this place.

Went in for Lunch. Simply awesome food with really nice flavors, served hot, and quick. I have tried almost all different entrees and sides, and I would say, each one of them was characteristic and very rich in flavors. Soups are great.. I sometimes have more than one soup while I am waiting for my meal. Relatively cheaper than the nearby eateries. Do not expect a very fancy sit down restaurant.. This is like a mom-and-pop shop. They take their food seriously, they treat their customers very seriously, and with genuine fondness. A family of 4 will roughly spend $30 and come out perfectly full and satisfied. Give them a try.. You will love it !!!

First time here, last time too. The meal started out well, the soup looked different than any I’d had before and it was great! Once they brought the chicken egg foo yung out I was surprised and also somewhat disgusted. The egg foo yung portion was actually pretty good, the chicken was just laid out on top of the patty, then it was all covered in the gelatinous sauce, I’m surprised any restaurant would proudly serve anything that looked like this, it was difficult to get past the looks of this dish. The spring roll was decent as was the rice, but again the entree was flabbergasting. I now know why I was the only dinner at 12:15 during what should have been a busy lunch hour.

I've been disappointed with the dishes lately, why are bell peppers being put into everything... there are some things that they should not be in. I ordered asparagus shrimp thinking it would be one dish that they wouldn't put the peppers in and I was wrong. You'll need to like bell pepper's to eat here.

Hit and a miss, big. I ordered the mongolian beef... It came to me cold. Literally as if it sat outside for a few minutes. The side dishes were all hot but the main was not. The egg drop soup was just chicken noodle soup... This didn't make sense to me. The egg roll was the standard egg roll found in frozen packs of 48 for 12$ at the asian supermarket. Service was decent but understaffed which was likely why I got my food cold. It's unlikely I'll be back.

Food is always good! Clean restaurant! We ordered the cream cheese wonton, char shu, chow fun (i think), general’s chicken, and Szechuan chicken. Our server sucked though, hence the 4 stars. Somehow the last few times we’ve been there we get stuck with her and it’s never good service but it doesnt stop us from the great Chinese food!

We come here often . Tonight Jackson was the server . Out of 1-10, 10 being the best . Jackson rates. 100 ! I ordered the Pao Pao tray as my meal . Where have I been ? It was not just delicious but the funnest thing I've ever eaten . Also have to mention the Hot and Sour soup . It was PERFECT in spice , just as Jackson promised . So big shout out to Jackson and Wing Wa❤️😊

We stopped here while passing through Ogden. It was great Chinese food, Winnie was a knowledgeable and attentive server. I ordered a combo and my husband ordered 3 dishes a la carte. Portions were generous in the combo and the a la carte dishes. We took a portion home. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

The restaurant is clean/organized, looks like they have a lot of selections but I feel like some combo plates are pretty similar. I think everything they have are combo plates and I wish they have family-style menu too. We like to order big plates where everyone get to share and taste different dish. The food came out fast, warm and mine was delicious but others say theirs is so-so. But at least we all agreed on the dessert - it was a bombshell, in a good way of course. They're warm and crispy and sweet inside. Price I guess is fair but most of all, the server was very nice and very attentive and to think we're the last customer for the night - and that alone made it an additional star rating. Overall, a very nice dining experience.

The food was ready very quickly. The sushi rolls were really big. Everything tasted authentic and delicious. Very impressed with this place.

We have been here multiple times. We love how fresh the seafood is. My husband and I finally understand why uni is loved by many after having it here. The server was great. We also went here for my husband’s birthday and the celebration was amazing! We also got the sashimi to share and the presentation is as good as the quality.

I came here by total chance with my son and daughter in law. What a magnificent surprise! It's the best quality fish I've had in Utah. They fly fish from different parts of the world. Truly a delight.

Some of the best sushi rolls Ive had lately. Ichiban is usually my go to spot. I live right next to a Sushi Bomb which is good too but this place takes the cake for me right now. Food is great and service is great!

The anago don was absolutely delicious, and the chef was friendly and happy to make recommendations. The bluefin kama was also excellent, fresh and flavorful. The only downsides were the soy sauce, which was way too salty for our taste, and one of the appetizers — a fried squid dish — which we found almost inedible. But overall, a great experience and worth a visit for the quality sushi.

The food was HORRIBLE! The noodles are overcooked and gummy, the egg rolls have a sterile taste, they honestly taste like a bandaid. 3 people at the table all took 1-2 bits, and we all are done! What an absolute joke! This is the worst food I've ever had. I never, and I mean, never leave a bad review. But there was absolutely nothing good about this food. Ops, I lied, my wife just said the water was good.

I love this restaurant. My family and I have been here several times. The food is good! The atmosphere is family friendly and the service is fantastic. I don't live in town but we make sure to stop every time we visit.

Decided as a family we wanted Chinese. Hadn’t been to the Golden Tree Cafe for a few years and decided we wanted that. We were sat quickly and ordered. Two of our meals came with Egg Drop soup which was good. We had the #90, #100 and the Beef Noodle Gravy and egg rolls. The egg rolls tasted old. The chicken for the 90&100 were dry and even though covered in the sauce, surprisingly bland. The fried rice was bland. The Beef Noodle Gravy was so bad that only one bite was taken. The overall food was so bad that we as a group agreed to not take home any leftovers. None of us finished any of our plates.

Horrible. Don’t waste your money or time. When I called to explain the chicken was hard as a rock she began to tell me sorry and hyng up on me. The ham in the rice doesn’t look like ham. I’ve been going there for years. They know me yet treat a long time customer like this. We won’t be returning

Solid food. Every time I’m in the area I’ll go for lunch or dinner. Feels like a classic Chinese food diner. Portion sizes are generous. Sweet and sour chicken and egg fu young are my favorites here. Affordable - great for lunch.

I ordered 6 jumbo shrimp and I get a tiny little container halfway full of cocktail sauce not even enough for one dip of a jumbo shrimp! If you spend $40 on 1 meal you would think they would not be so selfish with cocktail sauce. I will not be eating there again this is the second time they have done this to me. We have been coming here since it opened at their other location. We have tried so many things and have liked everything we've had. The cheese puffs are the best I've tried, also the Chinese chicken salad and egg drop soup are on top of my list. Service has also been good and sometimes we get to see the owner Sway, and he will go out of his way to make sure everything is good.

I have been eating Hunan for over 25 years and continue to. Since day one it’s always been the generals chicken dinner for me. All there food is delicious. I would recommend everyone to go try Hunan in Brigham City. Great service. Great prices.
