Very nice restaurant and good fresh food. They use quality ingredients and the food is really delicious. Prices are reasonable. The seafood is always delicious and the pizza is really like from Naples. Too bad they don't offer more dessert options. There is no signal or wifi in the restaurant.

They poured my drink back from a broken glass — unacceptable! I ordered a Sprite and poured it into the glass they gave me, only to find the glass had a crack. I really enjoyed the food here — we shared the mixed fried fish, which was really good and the tartare sauce was particularly nice, especially compared to a lot of other places around, whose sauce still tastes too much like mayonnaise. As a main I took the ‘Nduja pizza, which was really nice. Actually better tasting Neapolitan pizza than most of the pizza I have eaten in Naples. And burrata in the middle of a pizza is always a win, right? The staff were super friendly, nice and helpful. They seem to know their way around the entire menu and can easily recommend things or let you know what’s available that day if it’s a dish that changes. And while the restaurant is not by the water, we found the location to be really cute. The only thing I would say that isn’t exactly a negative thing, but just a bit odd, was that there was a lot of old James Blunt and Robbie Williams songs playing? That can make it feel a bit like the final hour of the reception for someone’s third wedding.

Service far from awful, but at this price bracket, I expect the main course to be served at the same time and not to be charged twice i.e. for bottles of water, when we had only one. Call it my tip. I have to start by saying that I am complicated when it comes to food because of my gluten-, lactose and histamine-intolerance. Even if they don’t offer my choice of dishes without gluten for lunch time, they agreed to give us access to the dinner menu and prepare something out of it for all the table. Would tentatively agree with the reviews below. The food is overpriced for what you get and the wine here isn't all that good. You're much better of visiting Trieste or hop across the border to Slovenia for better food and wine. The service however was friendly, unrushed and not all that bad as the reviews would suggest. If you're staying in Porto Piccolo and you don't want to drive here this could be a good visit. Would steer away from the more pricier option and stick with the house wine.

Like many reviews the wait for the food was excessive and unpleasant, not the waiters fault as they are doing the best they can but there are simply not enough. The food was ok the pasta and gnocchi were very good. The worst part was the owner was needed to come from the kitchen to prepare our bill, having already waited 5 minutes at the till he was called to come and he arrived with a face like thunder, rushing in to make a point, huffing and puffing raising eyebrows when we wished to simply look over the bill! It was all very inappropriate, disrespectful and unwarranted. We won’t be going back.
