Tricky place to find especially at night around 8.00pm and not being a local. Around 30 min to find the path. A beautiful view surrounded this Café. The atmosphere must be amazing if they welcome you. Service was really bad from the beginning. The waitress was already unhappy and the first things she told us were close in 20 min. So Hurry up to order, please 😂. Food was good but nothing special. The atmosphere must be amazing during breakfast and lunch.

They said in the clear weather we can see the volcano from the restaurant, unfortunately i came when it was cloudy, and I couldn't see the volcano, but I still could see the beautiful green scenery. They have indoor, semi outdoor and outdoor area, you can choose with perfect for you. I went there at Nov 2025, and since it was cloudy I choose a semi outdoor. The food is delicious, I had indonesia menu and I loved it. They also have smoothy, healthy food, and indonesia food. The staff also are kind and helpfull, and they served the food quite fast. But, they don't have parking load, you have to come by walk or motorcycle.

Just a short step outside central Ubud, we discovered a magical little neighborhood that felt like another world… The soulful, spiritual side of Ubud I had been hoping to find. Tucked away in a quiet lane, Yellow Flower Café carries that same energy: a soulful vibe, warm and peaceful, with the feeling of a hidden gem. The food was outstanding! The poached eggs with vegetables „The Stack“ were a revelation, and the smoothie bowl was as beautiful as it was nourishing. Everything here feels crafted with care, for both body and soul.

A very beautiful restaurant with amazing views. The food was excellent. The staff were kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to help us out when we were in a major hurry due to some unrelated issues earlier that day. I'm very glad we managed to eat here during our honeymoon. Highly recommended

A local cafe, a peaceful garden in the middle of the jungle. The perfect place to relax and enjoy some good food and coffee. Went there twice during my stay in a Ubud. The 7 Heaven coffee and the Wild orange cake are delicious. The staff is very friendly and kind. I give it 5 stars 🤩.

Decent breakfast and cafe food. There are quite a bit of options if looking for a sandwich so doing brunch here is a great idea! The coffee is nice and aromatic. The decor is cool with the whole wooden spoon concept that also ties in with the quintessential Bali teak spoon souvenir! We had a bagel sandwich and a regular sandwich and both were good! There are many fresh baked items on display that you can grab as well. The pricing is a little bit on the higher side. Personally we felt that the pricing plus have been a little lower to match the quality of the food. All in all, a good place to get some breakfast, brunch or coffee!

We visited Monsieur Spoon in Ubud and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and lovely interior, especially the wall decorated with wooden spoons. The drinks were fresh and tasty, perfect for a mid-day break. However, the apple cinnamon cake was a bit disappointing. It looked good, but it wasn’t sweet at all, so it mostly tasted like plain apple and cinnamon powder. Still, it’s a nice spot to sit and relax, especially if you’re looking for a quiet place with a cozy vibe.

The restaurant itself is very nice, with a nice outdoor seating area. We were disappointed in the quality of food. I got a healthy smoothie bowl that was not to the same standard of the quality shown in the menu, as it was very runny (like a soup). They were also unfortunately out of coconut flakes. My partner’s quiche was also not up to standard with the price. However, the servers were very nice.

Hidden gem that doesn't look like much from outside but perfect for early breakfast as it opens from 7am. My hot chocolate was hot and strong while I had an unusual beef pastry with lightly spiced beef. Should be more popular. Shame to discover it on my last day.

It was the worst chocolate I've ever had in my life. It was falling apart, tasted different, and was very dry. In other words, it was exactly how it shouldn't be. Normally, their desserts are good, but this time I wasn't satisfied with either the drink or the dessert. If you heat up an old dessert, it becomes so burnt and dry that it's just right. The waiter offered to bring a new one, but he also asked for an extra 15 minutes for the dessert I had been waiting for for half an hour.

The burger was really messy to eat but packed with flavor—no complaints on the taste front. The pistachio cake, though, was a letdown—looked the part but lacked that real pistachio punch, just color with no soul. Cheesecake and tart were decent, nothing mind-blowing. But the cheese &almond croissant and iced coffee? Straight 10/10. Flaky, rich, and that coffee hit just right. Would roll back for those alone.

Strolling around Ubud and found this amazing cafe. This café is incredibly cozy and inviting. The food and drinks are delicious — I especially enjoyed the coffee and the almond croissant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s the perfect spot to take a break from the busy streets of Ubud and relax for a while. Highly recommended!

I got the chance to visit this branch, yay! The spot is very strategic and in the main road access too, you could easily spot it from far away. The staffs are helpful, the place is relatively clean despite of how CROWDED this ice cream shop!! The air con is definitely helping the ice cream to stay in shape and get me freezing a bit, but no problem! As usual i got Jasmine Lemon Tea and the ice cream and i love it! The problem with this place is just the parking area is not definitely ready for cars. Please park your car on public parking space instead of the walking space. 4⭐/5, it was such a fun experience!

Very friendly staff and we experienced a musical performance of a group of young children which was a nice cultural experience. The rendang was great, the rest less tasteful. Most of the warungs we ate, tasted better.

What can I say about kaukau, one of our favorite spots. With my husband, that's where we had breakfast almost everyday during our stay in Bali, we also had dinner there twice. We were lucky to try a special local seafood buffet for our first dinner and we were delighted to discover their usual menu for the second time, not to mention that we enjoyed watching a traditional balinease dance during our second dinner there. The most beautiful thing about this restaurant aside from the undeniable top quality and tastefulness of the food, is the staff, they are all very kind welcoming and wonderful to talk to, they truly made our day everytime we've been there, with such warmth and care, they do their best to let you have the best experience you can possibly have. Just lovely, our interactions and conversations with the staff were so precious to us, such good energy and kind people. You helped us put together such lovely memories of Bali and we thank you so much for that ❤️🙏🏼

Wow wow wow. This place is a hidden gem in Ubud. The restaurant, food and staff were top notch. Live traditional Balinese entertainment while we ate the most exquisite food. Make sure to check out the yummy cocktails in the roof top bar which is accessed by a glass lift to the 4th floor. It’s truly sensational and not to be missed !!!

Nice setting but overall The Kaukau let us down a little in terms of expectations. As with everywhere (that we experienced in Ubud) the service was lovely, warm and friendly. The team there are super hospitable. They were let down by the food though. Reviews on here are outstanding so maybe we didn’t choose well or they had an off night. I had crispy duck which was dry as a bone and very lean in terms of meat. Partner had oxtail soup (as she was not overly hungry) but this was incredibly meagre - one piece of meat in the whole bowl. Flavours were ok but mediocre for 4.9 on Google and certainly no better than lower rated city centre restaurants in Ubud. There was just nothing to justify the high scores we saw and that drew us to the place. Outside of the lovely team of course. Corn fritters were ok, dumplings pretty standard (and I don’t think prepared on site). You never feel ripped off in Bali as a westerner but this was one of our more expensive meals in Ubud and it failed to live up to that.

Came for breakfast and got the package where you get 4 things for $20AUDish (bargain, drinks are infinite). Yanti served us and she had incredible service, extremely friendly and advised us of their rooftop bar and dinner restaurant. The atmosphere was very relaxing, can recommend if you’re staying nearby!

This place is trying so hard but unfortunately didn't quite hit the mark with us. We've only recently spent 2months in France which probably didn't help their quest with French cuisine. Food was mediocre, my partner had the escargot (snails), they had so obviously had been in the freezer and microwaved to defrost and heat as they were at the table too soon swimming in garlic sauce. I had a steak for my main and whilst it was OK for the price it should have been better, the baked potato still wrapped in foil beside it did make us chuckle. My partner had the fish which was nice, but again was swimming (probably not the best choice of words) in a butter sauce (maybe should have just been a wee jug of sauce on the side). Staff were delightful and I didn't even have to pay for a cocktail i ordered by mistake even though it was completely my fault! (There's not many places would have done that). 5 stars for customer service guys even though we thought the French cuisine was lacking slightly.... Not much atmosphere whilst we were there but it was between lunchtime and teatime so.maybe nicer in the evening 😊

We are definitely happy with this place. Ordered: Italian salad, local tenderloin at 145k and one lamb, everything is perfect. Well cooked for a medium rare steak, the steak has great taste, juicy; the same for the lamb. Pepper & Dijon sauce were also delicious. Final one, the Italian salad with great fresh taste, well perfumed with Pesto and Europe Basilic. One thing can be improved : staff is professional but not really friendly, a little bit cold. We were welcomed and served by 3 ladies.

Very average place. I ordered grilled chicken but got what seemed like a *boiled (maybe later fried)* chicken leg instead — definitely not grilled. It came with rice and veggies; the veggies were actually quite nice. The highlight was the *iced green tea – it was lovely* and refreshing!

The food was quite good and the ambience of the restaurant is romantic with dim lights. What we didn’t like and afterwards, reading other costumer’s reviews, we saw is something usual in this restaurant, if that they took nearly 40 minutes to bring us the main plate after the starter…. We had to claim it twice! And they even didn’t have the detail to invite us to the cocktails we ordered as a compensation for the delay… it was a pity because on the overall, the food tastes good!

This is my first time here despite that I live in Ubud. The food is good other than the oysters that need improvement of size, the restaurant atmosphere is quite nice with settings that could be romantic UNTIL the bar across them having LIVE music that is super super loud - I almost need to scream when talking 😅 I almost give them 3stars but their brownies saved them 😂 it’s really good! Price is in the middle range - value for money, and this restaurant seems to be one of the long standing restaurants

A vegan heaven ✨ If I had 10 stars, I'd put them. The food? Mind-blowing. The coffee? First of all, I don't drink regular coffee. And I found here decaf 😭 And it was beyond good. One of the best quality coffees I've ever had. The restaurant? Beautiful. And most of all, quiet. With clients that respect each other. I can't stand anymore all these tourists doing whatever they want such as they are in their living room. And the variety of foods, drinks, sweets? Large. Alchemy was a very, very, very pleasant surprise 🙏💖 (And yes, it's a little bit expensive, but almost same prices you can find in other places with not such quality and variety. It's your choice after all) ☺️

Alchemy is always a reliable choice, whether for tea, lunch, or dinner – even their yoga studio is amazing. I especially love their herbal tea and always buy a pack to take home. This time I tried the Capricciosa pizza for the first time, but it was too salty for my taste. Not sure if that was intentional, as I usually love Alchemy’s food for being simple and mild in flavor.

I had the green curry which was comforting, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. You can tell they use super fresh ingredients. Alchemy has been my living room while staying in Ubud. As much as I tried or wanted to explore other places, I always come back here because it just feels like home & the staff, menu, variety and experience is just amazing! Highly recommend the salad, green waffle, ice cream and breakfast bar!

The café has a lovely environment, very cozy and beautifully designed. However, the drinks were really disappointing. All the herbal and floral teas tasted strange and unbalanced. The almond milk matcha latte was especially bad, it tasted sour and unpleasant

I wish I could eat every meal here ;) Absolutely loved the creamy mushroom pasta special and omega brownie. The pasta was filling and so flavorful, same goes to the brownie- not too sweet, exactly how I enjoy my dessert. The atmosphere was clean and aesthetic.

I really enjoyed my visit to Sweet Orange Warung. It’s a super cozy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful location right in the rice fields. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered the satay with red rice, which was delicious and nicely presented. The portion could have been a bit larger, but the flavors more than made up for it. The prices are also very reasonable, making it great value for money. Overall, Sweet Orange Warung is a charming spot with tasty food, kind staff, and a stunning setting — definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Sweet Orange Warung in the rice fields of Ubud is a charming place to pause and refresh after a walk. I’ve been here a few times before and always loved the unique setting with the fun coconut faces and beautiful rice field scenery. On this visit, I felt the service wasn’t quite as warm as in the past, which was a little disappointing as I had brought my family to share the experience. Still, the atmosphere is special, and it remains a lovely stop for anyone wanting to enjoy the views and relax in the middle of nature

Oh my god!!! This place is AMAZING, sorrounded by green fields and palms. I haven't sleep there but i just had lunch and the food was really good as well, all served wirh fresh vegetables from the garden. I would reccomend it also if you want to stop just for a drink, i had the best fresh juice ever (mango, dragon fruit and mint)!!! It's an escape from the noise of the city!!! Highly reccomend it!!

The location of this restaurant is really frustrating. I searched for an hour and a half according to the map and couldn't find the right way around. They changed the address but the map didn't change it. This is really bad, especially when I was almost exhausted. I was very unhappy looking for it. Later, I contacted the staff through Whatsapp but no one came to pick me up. I searched for more than 40 minutes according to their description and finally found it when it was completely dark. The dishes were not as amazing as the online reviews said. It's not because I was unhappy because I searched for a long time, but because the taste was really average and the price was high. Overall, it didn't feel worth it. Don't trusted easy those internet stuffs

This place is stunning. What a vibe. But unfortunately the food does not meet this same level. The smoothie was not very cold and the vegetables in the soup not fully cooked. But what a vibe! They also charged me for extra Sambal even though it was a tiny little Sambal bowl.

The Sweet Orange Warung is located on the Sweet Orange trail just outside of Ubud and sits in beautiful green rice fields. The food is great and very reasonably priced. Definitely try the fresh juices. Atmosphere is very peaceful with good views and uncrowded but plentiful seating options. Would highly recommend a visit.

We stopped here for a few drinks during the Orange walk. Very nice restaurant with variety of juices. We did not have any food but what we saw passing by looked really good. Staff friendly, a tad slow. This was an exquisite experience. The team were all delightful and we enjoyed seeing the plants they grow on site and the recycling initiatives before settling down to the first tasting area. The thought that has gone into each of the tiny and beautiful morsels is amazing - local ingredients with unusual combinations of flavours and each dish explained by one of the members of the team. The evening progresses through three zones of the restaurant each with their unique atmosphere for each phase of the tasting menu.

This was a luxurious dessert experience. So refined, memorable and far exceeding expectations. You wouldn't expect it from the name, but the service and presentation felt world class. Absolutely worth the price per person. The beverage pairings were thoughtful and creative, sometimes unexpected but always harmonious with the flavours. Each course was beautifully presented and expertly crafted. A word of advice: arrive hungry! The portions are generous and surprisingly filling. We couldn’t finish everything on the spot, but the team kindly packed up the rest and we got to enjoy it again the next day. 10/10.

The most incredible dining experience of our lives. We loved room 4 dessert, the attention to detail in everything from the setting, to the food, to the way you move around the restaurant as you go through the different courses was amazing. Truly amazing experience, the wine pairing is a must! Highlights for me were the most amazing tuna (pic 2) not normally a fan of “raw” fish but really wow, so tasty! The black sesame ice cream dessert hit some sweet and savoury notes that gives Asian crème brûlée vibes (pic5), unbelievable. The duck taco also (pic1). Could have eaten 10. A must try if you visit Ubud. We also got a ticket to return for free snacks at the powder room next door, very bohemian vibes with records playing and awesome coffee.

I came to R4D by myself and it was such a nice experience from the very first moment I got greeted. Rhys and the rest of the team were so welcoming, you can really see how much training they have done because everything felt so smooth. From the garden to the entrance, every little detail was thought through. I started with the spiritless tasting menu and it was nothing short of amazing. You could tell how much the team, from the bartenders to the cooks to the servers, really loved what they were doing. Everyone was so knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the experience they were creating. The hospitality was on such a high level. The way the whole journey moved from one area to another felt unique. I haven’t seen anything quite like it before. It honestly made me feel like I was having dinner at someone’s home yet a high level tasting journey. The dishes and the mocktail pairing were definitely the highlight of the night. Every single one was fantastic. Even though I don’t usually eat everything, the small portions encouraged me to try new things and by the end I was completely satisfied. It was perfectly planned from start to finish and I just had a really lovely time. Big kudos to the team for all the thought and training they put into this place. And a special thanks to Rhys and Deva who made my dinner as a solo diner feel so comfortable and well taken care of.

This was such a great evening. We didn’t quite know what to expect… 15 courses… how were we going to eat all that?? But it was such a great experience. Eating in 3 different locations created this unique dining experience and the chef is seriously talented in creating all those courses, yes dessert heavy, although savory was just enough and really really good! If you are looking for that foodie experience this restaurant is definitely a must!

Mudru Café in Ubud is absolutely perfect all around. I went for breakfast and was blown away by how beautifully presented everything was — especially the breakfast bowl, which was both fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with a lovely mix of modern style and Ubud’s relaxed charm. The coffee was excellent, rich and perfectly made, adding to an already great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. It’s easily the best place I’ve visited for breakfast in Ubud, and I’d definitely go back again next time I’m in town.

Went to try the viral smoothie bowls. Disappointed overall. The chai tea was watery by my standards The smoothie bowl is a bit of a texture nightmare due to lack of toppings, I struggled to finish it as it was basically slop after the first few bites. - for the smoothie suggestion is actually to reduce the amount of the smoothie for better topping/smoothie ratio in turn you could charge less. And my personal preference is a thicker smoothie so adding ice while blending. I will say the rest of the menu looked nice and service was fast and pleasant plus the venue was also gorgeous

My experience at this place was incredible. All the food was delicious, and the service was very good. It was a bit inconvenient to have to pay somewhere other than at the table. I love that they offer different activities and that music is included. In this same space, I also joined a women’s circle, which made it even more special.

I had the best pancakes I've ever had at Mudra Cafe. I highly recommend the purple potato ones. The hot chocolate was also truly excellent. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Bali. The only downside is the wait time. We waited at least 30-40 minutes for these pancakes, but let's just say they were worth it.

Super cute restaurant with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The drinks are not only fancy, but the menu is quite unique among the other places we visited in the area. According to my friend, they got the best taro she's ever had!

The place is beautiful, staff is really nice. I feel the prices are a bit high, but the food was good. I had a smoothie Bowl and it was good. My partner had the "tapas" breakfast and it really wasn't worth it, better to order from the normal menù.

Beautiful restaurant offering great service and tasty food for very fair prices. You can have your meal sitting on low tables, but also tables with regular (western) hight. We were there as a family and had a duck steak, the lemon chicken, chicken sate and ginger chicken. Yummy!

This is a true tourist place, and if it's your 1st time here & in Bali, everything will be awesome. The food is not too bad, but there's a lot of room for improvement. The ambience is nice, though, and the restaurant area is huge. This place used to be packed worth tour buses, but since the pandemic, things have changed. For me, it's a 'One-Time-Only' experience. Ordered the rice set for 2 persons, and there were a few repeat dishes in the platter. Price was almost 500k, including the surprising 21% service charge! Watch our for that. Location is also not in the main town area, so you need to take a taxi or GoJek there.

A pleasant place with very good food, music, and surroundings. Definitely has that Instagrammable vibe, so perfect if you’re into taking photos. Just a heads-up about the sun – it’s only there until a certain time, and even during the day some spots are already in the shade. Overall, I recommend it, but it’s not exactly mind-blowing.

spent the afternoon at Omma Dayclub Bali, and it was truly one of the most scenic and memorable spots I’ve visited. The view alone is worth the trip — lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and the kind of setting that feels straight out of a travel magazine. Everywhere you turn there’s another photo-worthy moment, from the iconic swings to the glass bridge and the stylish pool areas. The food was great, with well-presented dishes that matched the beauty of the surroundings. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the menu offered a good variety for both light bites and full meals. The music added to the vibe — energetic but not overwhelming, setting the perfect tone for relaxing, people-watching, or capturing a few great photos. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great service and always checking in without being intrusive. It’s clear they’re used to catering to both tourists and locals looking for a good time. That said, Omma definitely has its “tourist pricing.” Many of the best experiences — like riding the swings or walking the famous glass bridge — come with additional costs. It’s a little “nickel and dimed” for my taste, but that seems to be part of the setup at popular Bali attractions. Still, the place delivers on beauty, energy, and atmosphere. All in all, Omma Dayclub is absolutely worth visiting for the views, the food, and the overall experience. Whether you’re there to chill with friends, grab a drink with a view, or get that perfect Instagram shot, you’ll have a great time. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for the full experience — and bring your camera, because every corner is a photo op.

We had an amazing experience at OMMA Dayclub Bali! The place is absolutely beautiful — great vibe, perfect location, and stunning views. The food was delicious, fresh and well-presented, and the prices were very reasonable compared to other beach clubs in Bali. What really made our day special was the excellent service — especially from Ade, who was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. If you’re in Bali, OMMA Dayclub is definitely a must-visit spot for great food, chill music, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely come back! 🙌🏾🌴

Cool place to chill out with quite a lot of activities. The waterfall is just fine for the view but too dirty to swim. The food was good in general. However, some dishes with seafood seem to be not fresh

Been to Omma twice and have had an exceptional experience each time! 10/10 food, vibes, service and overall experience. You get whatever you book back in food and beverages credit and it is 100% worth it. Bonus: Mango sticky rice is the best in the world and the sushi is top notch too.

This restaurant is always buzzing with a really cool vibe. The staff is genuinely nice and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. It's a big space with plenty of seating, so you never feel cramped. The food is incredible and the menu has tons of options - seriously something for everyone. I had their tacos, tea and vegan omelet and toast with curry spiced coconut butter and wow, everything was delicious. Really satisfying and comforting, exactly what I was craving. Highly recommend checking this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Sayuri Healing Food in Ubud is simply magical 💚. The food is 100% plant-based, fresh, and full of creativity. Every dish is not only delicious but also feels light and nourishing, designed to heal from the inside out. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, perfect to relax and enjoy. The staff is kind and always happy to explain the ingredients and health benefits 🌸. I highly recommend their raw desserts and cold-pressed juices 🥭🍓. They also offer conscious cooking classes, which are such a unique experience. Definitely one of the best places in Bali to eat healthy and with awareness 🌿✨.

This space is beyond the food, it is the energy that you just feel is welcoming, wholesome, HOME. I went back multiple times. They have some kind of open event almost every night and was such a beautiful experience every day. I was even so welcomed to speak on stage one night with open hearts. We all even danced with the workers one night it was a blast. There is so much love energy being offered here, highly recommend, home away from home feel , thank you! Pictures food wise is the "life is a blessing cake that so many recommended, the ocean love soup WOW cells feel it so good, and the cocoa ceremony shot great texture <3! A pleasant spot to sit and relax. There’s usually a program or activity going on, which makes the dining experience more enjoyable. It does get quite crowded, and you might have to share a table. I especially love the raw pasta and smoothie bowl- both are delicious! The desserts are great too, and they also sell a variety of healthy products.

Sayuri must be my favourite place to eat almost daily. As a Nutritionist, I’m always mindful of food quality, and their meals are the healthiest and tastiest around. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I love how they greet me by name every time I walk in, always smiling and full of positive energy. The atmosphere is also perfect, whether I’m relaxing in the garden sipping cacao on the lounge with friends, or enjoying the live music and vibrant energy while socialising. And their ceremonial cacao bowls and matcha (yes, bowls, not cups!) are simply the best 😋

I tried the Laksa bowl here. It was good, but honestly not my favorite—maybe it’s just me. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the place has a really nice vibe. A lot of foreigners hang out with their laptops, so it feels like a relaxed café space. They also offer vegan baked goods, though I didn’t try them this time. Overall, nice ambience and great service.

Everyone recommending this place, but it’s only because it’s populair. It’s like the other reviews say, chihuahua-carrying-Paris-Hilton-king of people in a fancy yoga pants here acting like they’re so Buddha conscious while talking crap about everyone they know. The atmosphere there for for me is less than a zero worthy. The food… first day I came I asked about the omelet confirming it’s not a “pancake” like sort of dish. The waitress was reinsure me it wasn’t. And she convinced me by showing me how it looks like ( there is apparently a page with pictures of the dishes. On the picture it was like a scrambled eggs-kind of an omelet. But when it arrived it was a dry pancake. Exactly what I DIDN’T want. On top of that it had strong tast a mix of falafel and curry. It was very small too. And I paid for it like 85k😳. Anyway I didn’t want to judge just after 1 visit, so I came back. But Unfortunately. I ordered the meal of the day which was Melanesian noodles soup. It was so heavy YET not nutrition AT ALL! I literally just finished the tempe and some mushies and left 80% of my bowl. I NEVER leave food. I’m extremely bloated with very heavy feeling in my stomach and offcourse I’m still craving to eat something. But I just can’t. The dish came also lukewarm. I won’t return. And advice to look out for those kind of “populair” kind of places. It’s basically a tourist trap. And a place to be for snobbish fake people. And offcrouse this kind of places are very overpriced. Very typical.

Milk & Madu is such a lovely spot for breakfast in Ubud! We ordered the Eggs Brekky, Orchard Bowl, and Madu Pancakes all three dishes were absolutely top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and courteous, which made the experience even better. The place does get quite busy in the mornings, but the lively atmosphere and cozy ambience make it worth it. Definitely a must-visit in Ubud, and I’d love to come back again!

Absolutely loved our lunch at Milk and Madhu! The service was top-notch – we’re super picky vegetarians (no egg, no fish oil) and Captain Puspa and Novi were amazing, guiding us through the menu without batting an eye. She suggested the Summer Slice Pizza and OH MY GOD – best pizza EVER. I seriously still can’t get over how good it was. Big shoutout to the team for making a Milo Shake for us, even though it’s supposed to be just for kids. That was such a nice touch! We had an awesome lunch and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I came here on a Sunday to try their special brunch, and it was such a great way to start the day! I had the cheeseburger with a beer — absolutely delicious and satisfying. Then I couldn’t resist trying the dessert: an apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was simply amazing! I left with such positive vibes and a big smile. The atmosphere here is wonderful- friendly people, great music, and an overall lovely energy. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to:)

We came here based on reviews and had breakfast and dinner. Everything was great. They had breakfast promotions, and it was incredibly crowded. A line formed after we sat down, but it wasn't as crowded that evening, so we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Since we don't eat pork, they offered to swap our menu items for other items, which was very nice. We enjoyed the lasagna for dinner. The ice cream is safe, and the food is delicious. We recommend it.

Nice atmosphere in the morning and in the evening because inside gets too hot at noon (due to big glass windows). You can enjoy great cocktails (you pay one get two during the happy hour). I ordered grilled fish and salad -the portion was a bit small- but it was really delicious. Prices are a bit above average. Service was very fast.

The food here is soo good!! The smash burger was so juicy and flavoursome, and the fries were nice and crispy! My boyfriend got the chicken Parma which was one a deal for 99k, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly and even let me do some colouring haha they also offer seltzers on the drink menu which was fun to try! I would definitely recommend to eat and drink at Milk & Madu!!

Was having the best morning here, having my proper breakfast after arriving in Ubud recently. It was the vibe that I enjoyed the most. Felt so nourished and charged being there for 2,5hr. The team there is a group of attentive people and they served genuinely from the heart. Especially Nana. She was such a sweet lady offering me a loyalty card right away. Happy to connect with her. We had a yummy breakfast here! There was no line to wait and we got seated immediately. We ordered the green smoothie, breakfast smoothie, two sides of scrambled eggs, the classic pancakes, and the berry pancakes. They were all so yummy! The eggs were perfect and the smoothies were refreshing. I think our favorite was the green smoothie. It was yummy!

The girls working here are absolutely lovely – so friendly and welcoming, they make the whole experience even better. On top of that, the bowls are fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Great food and even better service!

Have been to Açai Queen multiple times in bith locations in Ubud and I love it so much. The food itself, the presentation, the place, the staff - everything is perfect. And you get coconut crunch as a snack for every order. This time I even got a small coconut ball that was covered in chocolate. Delicious! Would always come back :)

A mandatory place to visit when you stroll around Goutama Street! The employees are so kind and helpful, I ordered Acai and Americano and tasted so good. They also provide free welcome snack and dessert! You will only experience eating acai and playing in the swing here!

I don’t understand why this is highly rated, the acai smoothie base is nice - but the quantity and the amount of toppings you get js just not enough and doesn’t justify the price at all compared to other places in Bali. They had used quite a bit of sugar on coconut shavings, ruining the authentic coconut flavour - and the peanuts in the peanut butter were over roasted. I personally did not enjoy the entire experience. No doubt the bowl looks aesthetic but the taste doesn’t make the mark.

The acai doesnt taste the best. Not sure why this place is extremely hyped but the amount you pay (also tax and service charge on top of the already expensive prices) doesnt worth what you eat... This place is just good to post cute instagram photos with your fruit bowl sold as acai bowl

Nice cafe with garden. It gets a bit hot around noon. We ordered the zucchini pancake breakfast, the healthy breakfast with chicken and eggs, and the carrot cake. The portions were normal and delicious. Service was fast and the staff was attentive.

very nice place, vibe of Russian nostalgia, excellent staff, very kind and positive people, our waiter even spoke Russian, it's very nice, but I also want to convey great respect to him for learning a rather difficult language. The food is excellent, the golubcy are excellent, the desserts are delicious, I recommend different types of Napoleons (I tried them all at different times) - they are all delicious in their own way. I definitely recommend this place not only to people from Russia, but also to all connoisseurs of authentic cuisine.

The best Russian food I had in Bali. Amazing shuba, borodinsky bread, good borsch, great selection of cakes, soft creamy syrniki. Draniki recipe needs to be modified as they are too thick and taste more like dough than potatoes. It was the only dish that we didn’t really like but the rest was fantastic.

Usually I don't leave reviews, but this place deserves an exception. Everything was amazing. The service was amazing, staff spoke English and even a few cute words in Russian!! The food was amazing as well - fresh and mostly important, it truly reminded me the taste of home. As a sweet bonus, the staff treated us to an eclair 🥹 I can highly recommend this place if you miss Russian cuisine or wanna try it for the first time! Thank you!

Lovely dessert and drink combo! Tried their strawberry shortcake and tiramisu mille crepe — both were light, creamy, and not overly sweet. Paired perfectly with their iced chocolate and topped with whipped cream. The presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted as good as it looked. Great spot for a relaxing afternoon treat!

Delicious local food at affordable price as compared to other cafes in this vicinity! The interior is a bit worn-out but didn't affect the experience here as the food, service, price are all decent! I would say it is so underrated as people usually go to IG/XHS recomm ones like Fold and Pison etc (nothing against them). Hope to have more people show this cafe some support! :)

We got the tiramisu crepe, there was no tiramisu taste at all!!! just a bunch of poor quality cream. The cake piece didn’t even stand up right it all mushed down after the first bite. The cream did not look fresh at all. There’s also no toilet inside and had to use the public one outside. Very disappointed!

I have sweet tooth. However the cake from this place didn’t really satisfy my sugar craving. I tried several menu here: 1. The tiramisu crepes didn’t have any taste of tiramisu. 2. The donut was terrible — it was a bit dry. 3. Meringue - it’s ok 4. Matcha — not so bad. 5. Turmeric jamu — its was quite nice, I liked it. My friend tried matcha crepes, I didn’t really how did it taste tho. The place itself was not comfy at all. It was like an old store, everything was placed anywhere they could, the lighting and the paint made the place seemed sooo gloomy! The toilet was outside! And when I went there, they were under construction and it was raining, so just imagine 😌 The waitress were amazing, but the parking guy was questionable! There was another car behind ours, so we asked for his help. He said wait and he kept smiling watching tiktok on his phone! So yeah we waited for a minute in the drizzling night while he watched tiktok 😂 So overall, I see nothing special about this place.

I feel cheated and need to share it. I asked twice what was inside the almond croissant, and both times they told me it was filled with almond cream. Dear staff, can you see the almond cream in the photo? I'm not, not even with glasses. I should have left the croissant right after you gave it to me, since it already felt dry and old to the touch, but I thought I was unlucky to have had that, I simply asked for another one, but unfortunately the second one was the same too 😅 and to top it off: I paid 35,000 + 10%. Not only did you lie to me, but you also made me pay a lot of money for a product that ended up in the trash. Luckily, not all the business are like your, and there are plenty of honest people out there. I would have given 0 stars if I could. Never again.

A beautiful and relaxing spot in the heart of Ubud. The atmosphere reflects Balinese design with wooden interiors and lush greenery, making it perfect for a coffee break or remote work. The service was friendly and smooth, and the coffee quality exceeded expectations. One of the best Starbucks locations I’ve visited globally!

As others mentioned, the toilet is quite popular all the time 😂 Interesting thing: it's next to a temple/attraction (pay for entry.) where you can rent and put on traditional costume for photographic purposes ~ The whole space is a frontal and back area, the former a more public space more for temporary and pickup waiters, latter a more secluded space with better street view, better for longtimers. Wifi is super stable and friendly. Service is great and coffee made quick. Pretty clean for quite a busy Starbucks. The entry though is a bit hidden: it's located inside the entrance to the temple.

It is located next to the temple, I liked the interior, the staff is friendly. Surprisingly, there were free seats despite the fact that the area with attractions is popular. Very tasty coffee with salted caramel Sumatra. I recommend.

Starbucks is always a good base when we travel. You can always count on the same menu world wide, internet and a chance to ask the locals what's around in the area. This Starbucks was no different. In the heart of Ubud centre it's easy to get to, standard prices and plenty of seating.

Everything is great. I've been here twice, the coffee is delicious, and the staff is friendly. There was a special promotion with a cinnamon free coffee purchase, something we've never seen before in our country. The ice is safe. Coffee prices are high compared to Bali's average, but I still recommend it.

This is a great early spot as there do not seem to be manu in Ubud (most open around 7am), we stopped here at 6am for coffee and a bite to eat, before heading out sites seeing. Did not disappoint with an abundance of pastries, and a great breakfast menu, coffee was also delicious!!

Simple bakery/cafe that focuses on the sale of baked goods - croissants, pain au chocolate, pies, cakes, etc. Most of which comes in a small or big portion, giving flexibility for customers' preferences. Prices are reasonable for such freshly baked goods. Aside from that, they do offer coffee/tea as part of their menu. Bakery is located on the first floor for takeaways and dining-in is available on the second floor. Would recommend this place to customers who want a quick bite before starting their day as it opens early.

This bakery feels like a fast-food spot, but for French bread. The croissant is tasty, though the baguette was a bit too hard for me. The place isn’t very cozy for a long stay, and parking is quite limited, which can be inconvenient.

I recently visited Daily Baguette in Ubud and tried their plain croissant, raisin danish, and banana cake. The plain croissant was light, buttery, and flaky—just the way a good croissant should be. The raisin danish had a nice balance of sweetness and texture, with juicy raisins inside soft layers of pastry. The banana cake was moist, fragrant, and not overly sweet, making it a perfect afternoon treat with coffee.

Daily Baguette felt and tasted just like being in a French bakery. The croissants and pain au chocolat tasted absolutely amazing. The real highlight, however, were the filled baguettes. The quality of the baguette is breathtaking – it smells and tastes just like in France itself. The same goes for the croissants and pain au chocolat. The coffee with our food was excellent as well. We had the iced latte with vanilla several times, as well as the praline iced latte. All in all, absolutely recommended!

Very good bakery in Ubud centre. We had tuna sandwich, Brekkie sandwich (which is omelette and feta cheese) and some slices of cake. They were all so delicious. Quick lunch for my last day in Ubud.

Absolutely stunning place! Byrd House Bali is such a beautiful spot — the design, the atmosphere, everything is just gorgeous. I had the grilled salmon, and it was good. The whole experience felt relaxing and well put together. It’s worth a visit if you’re in Sanur!

One of the very few beach clubs in Bali that is truly child-friendly. 👶🌴 If you’re traveling with kids, this place is an absolute must-visit! They have pools perfectly adapted for children — including shallow splash areas and sunbeds placed in very low water, which makes it both comfortable and safe for little ones. There’s also a kids’ club, a playground, and the whole resort is beautifully designed while still being reasonably priced. The café offers delicious cakes and donuts, the food and cocktails are excellent, the music is great, and the overall atmosphere is simply amazing. The payment system is also very reasonable: it’s IDR 100,000 per sunbed, and there’s a minimum spend of IDR 200,000 per adult — but nothing is required for children. ✨ We highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as the place gets fully booked. We were a family of four adults and two children, and it was difficult to find available sunbeds when we arrived without a booking. Highly recommended for families with children! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Could be my favourite restaurant in Bali, definitely in Sanur. Great food, great vibe and music, fantastic service and staff. Better atmosphere inside than the beach for me. Also the pool is great, the black stone is something special. Not overpriced, but over-delivered which is fantastic. Have been coming here since early 2023.

Absolutely loved our time at Byrd House! The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, surrounded by tall coconut and palm trees that give the place a tropical paradise vibe. It’s one of the most family- and kid-friendly beach clubs we’ve been to, there are several pools for kids, a great playground area, and plenty of space to run around safely. The bathrooms and showers are spotless, which is something we really appreciate, and the staff are all so friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Everything here feels well thought out and taken care of. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back next time we’re in Sanur! 🌴🌺

First, I must say that their Pistachio Croissant is truly delicious because the Pistachio cream is heavenly. Food Portion is large. If you are not heavy eater, 2 menus are enough for 3 person. The waffles are delicious. Coffee to me is fine. However I must say that their tiramisu is almost perfect for me. the bitterness of the coffee and the sweetness of the cream complement each other nicely. Remember to eat them altogether in a bites, not seperate the cream and coffee part for the best taste. Love the space. and the waitress is friendly and patient. Overall, love your place and will bring my family for brunch again. 👍

I've been here 3 times, which shows how much I enjoy it! ​The beach staff needs more attention, which is something they could improve. ​However, yesterday the indoor staff was great; we had a miscommunication about the dessert, but they easily offered to change it. ​I will definitely come back again

Mixed feelings about Byrd House in Sanur. Visited with my daughters and happily paid the minimum spend upfront. Still, staff watched us constantly, as if we weren’t welcome or might misbehave. A lifeguard blew a whistle at my 4-year-old (jumping in the pool, 1m from me and 2 from her) instead of addressing me calmly. When leaving, two staff approached as soon as I turned my back as if afraid I’d leave before I could pay for my latte—despite intending to settle up. We’re a normal single-mom family; kids behaved perfectly, and we spent generously like others… Ignoring the odd staff vibe, the place is stunning with an amazing atmosphere—my girls loved it. Food was good, although not exceptional. I recommend it, and will give a 4-star because I don’t think others were treated like this. But I am genuinely curious what made staff so on edge. We’ve felt warmly welcomed everywhere else in Bali, which is why we returned for a second trip here.

They have a wide variety of desserts to pick from croissants to whole cakes. We got their brownie, cheesecake, and chocolate croissant. All of them tasted average and there was nothing special in my opinion. They have a great atmosphere to eat in but their service was trash. There were not much people eating the moment I was there but there were two foreigners eating a few tables from me. At the beginning everything was fine, but both of our tables wanted to pay and leave almost at the same time. We both wanted to pay with card and they brought the device to the foreigner’s table for them to tap their card and pay but when I told the same waitress that we wanted to pay using card she told us to just go to the cashier. So the foreigners can pay at their table and get better service while we had to go to the cashier to pay?? I asked the waiter why we were treated differently and they immediately brought the device to my table too. Still… different level of service for Indonesians and foreigners?? Will never come back!!!

Nice place. Visiting here thu, 3 Oct evening. I was sitting and nobody offered me the menu so I asked the waitress who was in the cashier. And she suddenly had a bad face and was unfriendly. Bali Bakery is a legendary cafe in Denpasar which is still my favorite to this day. The menu is all delicious. I also like the cakes and cookies. The service is friendly and the parking lot is quite spacious. This place is suitable for meeting friends or business colleagues and eating with family.

***Flat White Tidak Bagus*** Stopped by Bali Bakery yesterday. Ordered a single shot Flat White. I asked Barista to make it a bit hotter. When it arrived it was possibly the worst coffee I have ever tasted in my life. It was like a badly expressed coffee, that tasted like filtered coffee with some badly steamed milk. I had one sip and talked to Barista. I explained to him again that I wanted a Flat White, like a cappuccino, so he tried again. The second FW was the same, slightly hotter, but terrible taste. Either the coffee machine hadn't been cleaned, or he hasn't got the grind right, or he doesn't know how to steam the milk. I'm surprised the person, I won't call him a Barista, would even give this to customer. A Flat White is very hard to make. The person here who made the coffee, really has no idea how to make an Expresso coffee. He needs retraining immediately. But I'm feeling hes not going to be a Barista. I ordered eggs Benedict. The croissant was a bit stale, egg ok. Mushrooms ok, salad had spicy taste , not to my liking. I ordered carrot juice with ginger and lime instead of drinking the coffee. Staff were friendly. The young waitress with glasses was very nice.

Arrived right before closing, with no other people there after a long day of travel. Were more than happy to stay open and didn’t rush us. Food was tasty, prices were reasonable and was a good place to watch the world go by. During peak hours no doubt would be a great place to eat.

$3-4 Pasta! I loved this hidden gem of an Italian restaurant! Tucked away on the second floor, it’s easy to miss the entrance, but once inside, you’re greeted by the loveliest little cozy spot. A small but very popular place on Monkey Forest Rd. Tables are very close together and watched a lot of people turned away as just not enough space to cater for demand. Was well worth a few minutes wait to get a table as it turned out. One of the few places where the Sangria is actually prepared earlier and you can taste the difference in the fruit....was delicious. Small menu of pizza and pasta but everything was delicious. Carbonara was not overcooked, flavours were amazing, and the pizzas were delicious and crispy on the edges, just as they should be. When in Ubud, we will definitely come back for a meal.

Good pizza but very chewy. The waits were very long at about 30mins to get our pizzas and pasta. It was a Saturday and we were 5 people. Furthermore, the seating area is quite crammed and small there. Can for about 15 people. Good view of the street. They add an additional 15% tax + 2% cad charge on the bill.

Food was good, place was really hot but the worse was the smell of the toilet! It was quite a bit overwhelming at times. They could use some air fresher or something. Maybe block the bathroom or something but the smell was gross while we were trying to enjoy our food. The pizza was good. It was nice and crispy, but the pizza salad really wasn't a salad persay... there were some rucola leaves... The Chicken Penne Pasta was really good! I will say most likely the best I've had since being in Asia for 10 months! The watermelon juice is great! Price wasn't as crazy as some places, reasonably priced...

I came across Black Sands Coffee & Eatery while driving through Ketewel and thought I'd check it out. The vibe is cozy and inviting, with a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by some nice greenery, making it a chill spot. I tried the chicken cordon bleu and grabbed a pineapple juice. The food was decent, not mind-blowing, but hit the spot and the prices were reasonable. They’ve got a bunch of dishes on the menu, from local Balinese favorites to some Western options, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, they have free Wi-Fi, which makes it a comfortable place to relax or tackle a little work.

I came for breakfast and had the avocado toast. It was delicious! The place was quite and beautiful. I was served immediately and quickly. The match latte was great.

A good place in Ketewel for having coffee and meals. Good design and friendly owner also delicious Iced Vanilla Latte as for my first visited I ordered this one. Definetely will come back!

It is considered as outdoor cafe as there is no non smoking area. The vibe is family bar with music and drinks. However the food is not my taste (I ordered steak and wanted it to be medium but turned out as well done anyway). But the apple bbq sauce was interesting. The satay from pan kobar tasted better than the rest of the food that I ordered.

I ordered the chicken cordon bleu and as I was eating it, I chewed on something weird. Turns out it was a huge chunk of what seemed to be a plastic bag. Unfortunately didn’t take a picture. Went for breakky and can’t fault it! Good coffee, an exceptional croissant and a mouth-watering breakfast burrito! The lunch menu looked very good too but unfortunately it only started at 12pm. The place is very large, sporting about 4 seperate-feeling locations to sit and order from. The service was a bit slow but I feel like that comes with having such a large venue. The staff were all friendly, the music was good, and the views overlooking the rice fields were a nice reprieve from the cramped central Ubud. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area!

This is an all purpose venue. Cafe! Restaurant! Beautiful and well made furniture. Great food restaurant! A bakery that makes delectable patisserie, and the best sour dough baguette in town! Good and music on Sundays market day. A wonderful concept store an area to practice arts and ceramics.

This place is a literal oasis—overlooking a lush rice field and removed from the chaos if ubud city center! The avocado toast was okay (wouldn’t order again), but the pastries and coffee are amazing! I got the espresso glazed croissant and holy, these are well made!! The coffee always come with a little sweet bite. Staff are friendly and attentive! The space is big, and beautiful. They’ve got indoor AC seating with plugs, as well as outdoor. On sundays they have a small market and they had live music too!! A must visit

I arrived very hungry, planning to have dinner around 5:20 PM — only to find out that the kitchen is closed from 5 to 6 PM. It was really disappointing, especially since I came here on purpose after hearing great recommendations and having enjoyed it before. I truly like this place, but this experience was frustrating. It would be great if such information was clearly mentioned, as it’s quite upsetting to come all the way and not be able to eat.

One of my favourite spots in Ubud to have a morning coffee with a pastry. Great vibes, amazing rice field view, delicious coffee and baked good. Great place to chill, meet with a friend or get some work done.

On the pricer side. However worth every penny. The best coffee in Ubud. The walnut chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I’ve ever had. The salmon on the eggs benedict was fresh.

Our driver brought us here for lunch and it is our first meal in Bali, Indonesia. The ambience reminds me of Bubble in the Forest Cafe in Thailand. The serving of the meal is big and two orders can fill three people. The price of one meal is kind of expensive for one person though.

Food was great, everything was delicious. The food is on the pricey side but i think you’re paying for the experience. The setting was also very serene and pretty. However there were a lot of bugs so beware if you’re afraid of them. I also travel a lot with my elderly grandma and she found it very hard to sit and move around, so maybe don’t come here with someone who can’t walk a lot/ climb steps. Totally recommend for the food though :) Service was great.

Well-known for the amazing view and the delicious crispy deep-fried duck, and it lives up to the reputation! The restaurant sits next to an open field which gives it a peaceful ambiance and atmosphere. You have the option of sitting on solid ground or a swinging sitting gazebo over water, like a large (very secure) swing. Would definitely recommend the swing! The duck is cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! We also got chicken satay and vegetables that were also great. The service was excellent, the attendants are polite and attentive. We will be going back!

Overall a very positive experience. The food was great, everything on our plates was both visually appealing and tasty. The environment is gorgeous and calm with a “hidden oasis” kind of feel. We had a table above the water and I highly recommend it even if it’s just for the experience, but I imagine when it’s busy those would be taken up pretty quickly. While it’s quiet enough to talk easily, there was the constant noise of water and occasionally ATV’s going past the back. Staff were very friendly, most did not speak a lot of English but knew enough to make ordering easy. The service was excellent and food came very fast. It seems to be the place tourists are regularly taken to during airport transfers. We arrived at 3pm and it was pretty quiet. We ordered mixed satay sticks (beef and chicken), Mie Goreng noodles, chocolate milkshake and a mango coconut lassi type of drink, all of which were delicious.

Tried the mixed satay here and it was delicious. They are happy to replace one meat with another for the satay. Loved the ambience and my family tried other dishes here and they were very happy. Service was quick too. Prices are slightly on the higher side.

The food is simple and nothing fancy, but everything was good. The tables, however, aren’t very stable — they can tip over easily if you lean on the edge.

Good place with good ambience, especially for families with kids as they have a playground area. A bit hot at noon as it was outdoor, but should be fine in the morning or afternoon. I ordered Tuna Cakalang Fried Rice and it was quite good. Quite a generous portion. The salad my wife ordered was just OK though. The second floor is empty so it's a good place for work. Decent internet connection also.

Hot mint tea without sugar and strawberry smoothy are good of taste. My indonesian speaking partner ordered spagetthi bolognaise. I ordered a seafood pizza. The spagetthi dish was smaller as suspect (as the menu cart photo). Not the first time, but the spagetthi was almost finished when my pizza was finally served. Spagetthi taste was like baked babmie. Not even close by the taste of spagetthi bolognaise. My pizza was a real thin pizza (more like turkey pizza or dadar). With some toppings on it. My first bite was almost a tooth breker by the shell of a mossel. First get everything out of the shell or peal off the shrimp before start eating. The taste not even close by a nice traditional seafood pizza. Waitress well speaking english was changed for Indonesian speaking waitress when they know my freind speak Indonesian. Not the first time this happens in Indonesia, For the rest of the time they ignore me and and speak only to my freind. Real Indonesian politeness.

It's a good place to spend time with your friends or lover. Vibes and ambiance was good. Service was excellent. For food, I ordered chicken stroganoff it was good, but for me the mash potato a little bit flat.

After visiting Tegenungan Waterfall and climbing all those stairs back up, I was tired and somehow ended up at Bumbu Asli. What a lovely surprise it was! The place has this calm vibe with a beautiful view back to the waterfall, making it the perfect chilling spot. I ordered tom yum and a fresh watermelon juice - both were absolutely delicious and just what I needed. The prices are very fair, and the staff were kind and friendly, which made the experience even nicer. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're visiting the waterfall or just nearby :)

This place has an uninterrupted view of the waterfall and friendly staff. I had the Mi Goreng which was delicious and for the first time in Bali I also ordered fries. I only ever eat local food as I can get western food at home but I had a craving for fries and they were exceptional. I definitely recommend coming here.

The view is beautiful, but service is SO SLOW. It took them 20min to get my order and waited almost an hour for one dish. I had to tell them that I’ve been waiting for an hour. Food was not that good, flavourless to me.

Me and my partner ate here many times as part of the stay with the hotel. The breakfast portions were very generous and the quality of the food was outstanding. They provided both Indonesian and western dishes, we tried a variety over the 5 days we were there and all dishes were delicious and great quality. What stood out to us was the service from the staff. Jared was so sweet and lovely, we really enjoyed having conversations with him. I’m sorry that I didn’t catch all of the other staff members names, they were all very kind and we felt sad to say goodbye ❤️ One evening we also witnessed a Bali cultural dinner and dancers. This was great to watch :) thank you so much to everyone who works here, what a great team!

The food at Sumampan Restaurant inside the Wakanda Resort has been nothing short of absolutely DIVINE! From the pleasant and attentive staff, to the beautiful presentation and delicious food, the whole experience has been one of a kind. I wish i could stay forever! I tried all the breakfasts during my stay and they were all amazing- I would really recommend the watermelon and pineapple juice, and the dragonfruit and banana juice too. The afternoon tea was so unique, and for dinner, The Nasi Goreng with chicken satay was the best I have had so far. We also enjoyed a romantic 4 course candle lit dinner which we will remember forever. Thankyou so much to all of the wonderful staff, especially Putu Eka ( plus many more whose name I did not catch) for making our stay so welcoming and tranquil. I cannot wait to come back again. PS there is halal food available

We had a wonderful experience with both the restaurant and the cooking class! The food itself has been amazing and the cooking class experience was so informative. Agung, Ari and Ina were so well prepared- the food was delicious and authentic Indonesian/ Balinese cuisine. We had a great time throughout and were well looked after.

One of the most incredible places I have ever stayed. Staff are phenomenal, they go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The facilities are breath taking, I would recommend going for a massage and doing the balinese dinner with live performances.

The restaurant in the Wakanda hotel is exceptional. It’s a set breakfast with choice of American, continental, indonesia and pastry. The daily high tea includes local desserts. They were all nice and delicious. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. Especially Yanti. Hope we will come back again

An average tourist-focused Warung. The view of the rice paddy/banana palm field was fine, but plenty of villas around as well. The Balinese food was average quality and taste. We didn't try the western food. The desert is just two cubes of fruit!

We came during lunch time a very hungry stomach for a quick lunch. The food was okay. The view is excellent with well maintained gardens. I wish the music is Balinese traditional instrument (it was saxophone while we were there)

Peaceful Ambience for lunch. My friends had the crispy duck a little bit bony but delicious, I had the grilled chicken which was very flavorful. We sat in a little Hut above a small pond with probably two dozen fish in them. My four-year-old enjoyed looking at the fish and feeding them a little rice. The restaurant overlooks a large rice filled with people collecting the stalks as we ate. The prices are pretty good, and the mixed fruit drinks are fantastic.

I had my first nasi goreng HERE, and it was delish! I especially loved all the different textures the dish had, and the herb twig added such a delightful aromatic to each bite it landed it. The service was great, I ran a bamboo bell whenever I wanted service. The garden was so dreamy and I can easily spend the whole day there. Very stylish place with really good food but horrible staff. Waited for 30min for a waiter to pick our order, eventually had to go to the counter myself (the restaurant was not full). Ordered three plates and the first came after 50 MINUTES. The second after another 20min. For the third dish we were waiting another 20min and eventually asked when it's going to come. Then it turned out they ran out of ingredients and can't serve it. The staff didn't manage to inform about this fact for 1,5h after making the order, only said 'sorry, busy'. Unacceptable.

This is a Balinese grill seafood restaurant, owned by a very polite and friendly boss, Mr. Kadek. Assuring to serve fresh seafood as he is also a fisherman himself, the food is great and suits you who like fish, shrimp, calamari seafood stuffs. They have indoor and outdoor space, the indoor is not air-conditioned but its very open so not feeling hot, the outdoor space might suit for dinner except if you want to do sunbathing sauna while having lunch. The location has a little distance from downtown, but not too far if you are at Sanur area. So if you are around, come and visit them.

Nice little Restaurant for FISH and Desserts. You would be welcomed by a friendly staff and a quick service. The dishes we had were a delight. The prices are reasonable and the location is very clean. Parking for cars in front.

We are very happy that we came to this place. Warung Pizarro is originally preserved beautiful architecture combined with Balinese handmade furniture. We ate there the best freshly caught Ruby fish, squid and a smoothie bowl. All the dishes looked beautiful and were totally delicious. Looking at its name, at first, we thought the first place offered a range of pizzas. However, it doesn’t. Therefore, being vegetarians, we ended up ordering their dragon fruit smoothie bowl, strawberry pudding and fruit platter and they were delicious. Quite a refreshing experience!

After my family ate here, the next day we all got sick. Vomiting and diarrhea. The food is delicious but unfortunately there are a lot of flies in this place so the food is not hygienic. So we will not come back to this place. The staff are nice. the price is standard.

This is My second dinning experience here. This place is one of my favorite places here. I love to visit it after I spend a nice day at Panta Lembeng (black sand beach) it’s a walking distance of 4 minutes!

Always eat here or deliver each time we're in Bali. Will only order the ikan and ayam bakar. Other dishes not as good. Wouldn't eat the sambal if the ikan bakar though. Too spicy and not that tasty with mango in it. The outside is quite nice seating in the evening. Very packed with locals so it takes time for food to be served. Did get a tummy ache the last two times though from the fish.

Filipino Review 🇵🇭☕🌿 Celuk Swing & Coffee Celuk Swing & Coffee is a nice spot for those looking to enjoy Bali’s famous jungle swings 🌿🌄 and taste local Balinese coffee ☕. The swings offer breathtaking views and are great for photos 📸, though some may find the experience a bit touristy. One highlight is the free coffee and tea tasting, where you get to try different local flavors, including the famous Luwak coffee 🐾☕ (which comes at an extra cost). The staff are friendly and explain the process of making Balinese coffee. However, the prices for swings and coffee can be a bit high 💰, and some parts of the experience feel like a marketing strategy to encourage purchases. Overall, it’s a good stop for those who love nature, coffee, and adventure, but best to check prices beforehand to avoid surprises!

Offered free tea and coffee tasting which was amazing!! Luwak coffee was only drink we needed to purchase which was 50k or $5 Australian. Every thing was alright here, clean tables and bathrooms. Swings looked amazing! Lots of photo opportunities. The Luwak cages were a bit grose buckets were slime green. The prices in shop were average. Definitely worth the visit.

We really enjoyed ourselves here. They explained to us where their coffee comes from and the "I" formations — very interesting stuff! We even got to help roast the beans, which was quite the experience. Then I had a go on the swing — naturally, I loved every second of it! And bonus: if you swing, you get a free coffee tasting. After the adrenaline rush, we did a proper coffee and tea tasting. There’s definitely something for every taste. I tried avocado coffee for the first time — let’s just say it won’t be making my favourites list anytime soon! But I did buy some of the other coffees that were more my cup of... well, coffee. We also had a lovely photo session on the handmade swing — Instagram-worthy moments all around. Oh, and they sell chocolate here too. A little pricey, sure, but hey, you only come here once, right?

Taxi driver suggested we stop by and we’re so glad we did! The coffee and tea tasting was great fun and it was free. We also ordered some of the delicious and famous luwak coffee, followed by a really fun swing ride where my wife and I got some lovely photos.

We arrived in the late afternoon and was greeted by a very nice lady who showed us the coffee plants and the luwak that eats the coffee seeds. We went down to the swing which was so much fun. Delighted screams filled the air as the ladies were swinging back and forth. But don't worry, you wear a safety harness to stop any falling off. We asked the lady to take some photos and she was amazing. Creating a few amazing videos and lots of cool photos. The mirror photo was incredible but the videos were so mind blowingly amazing. Further to this, we also got the photos from their photographer which is included as part of the swing package. Afterwards l, we did a tea and coffee taster. 15 different flavours. The turmeric, coconut and lemon grass flavours were delicious. The staff was so warm, friendly and welcoming. Thank you. We arrived in the late afternoon and was greeted by a very nice lady who showed us the coffee plants and the luwak that eats the coffee seeds. We went down to the swing which was so much fun. Delighted screams filled the air as the ladies were swinging back and forth. But don't worry, you wear a safety harness to stop any falling off. If you've never been here before, you're going to have a hard time finding the restaurant as there's no visible signage. But if it's open for business, signage is not really necessary, because usually there will be a long queue of customers lining up to the side of the road. Apart from the long wait time and queue, the building is spacious. The price of the foods and drinks is really affordable. They serve a horror themed menus, like angel and devil noodles, kuntilanak drink etc.

Enjoyed my green smoothie. It comes with 3 fruits and 1 topping. All the fruits are sweet. The bowl was huge. Good for sharing. Staff was friendly. You get to sample coconut ice cream. Choose between original or chocolate flavour. It's yummy! Paid 85000IDR for my smoothie. It's just along the road of the busy city. If you don't mind the heavy traffic pick the seats along the road.

Probably the BEST cold pressed juice bar in Ubud! They have both cold pressed and smoothies and both are so fresh and delicious. Price reflects the quality as the fruits and veg are cold pressed without adding ice. You can also try samples before ordering what you like. Staff are all very friendly too! They are also eco friendly - you can takeaway and when you return the bottle with the lid, they'll refund you. Highly recommended!!! We visited multiple times during our stay in Ubud!

Found this place coincidentally. We were late for dinner and this is one of the few restaurant that opens till 10pm, and they also have a car park space. Service was good and meals came quite quick. Good taste and decent portion, and there are also good varieties of cuisine. The only thing to improve is perhaps the coffee, we ordered 2 cappuccinos and turned out 1 is not as strong as the other, maybe they missed 1 shot. P.s. For cookies in South East Asia, these are pretty darn good. We ordered a Ginny (White Chocolate Biscoff), James (Walnut) and Kevin (KitKat) and they were all very soft and sweet. On reviews it seems you can get them warmed up but we didn’t know that was an option, so we know for next time. If you’re looking for a sweet treat after dinner, I would recommend coming here :)
