Stopped by Fornet de La Soca to pick up some sweets and ensaimadas to bring back to Germany - and what a fantastic choice it was. The place has a special charm, with a beautifully traditional atmosphere that feels truly authentic. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The staff were warm, friendly, and more than happy to help with recommendations and packaging for travel. A wonderful experience overall - highly recommended if you’re looking to take home a real sweet taste of Mallorca!

Wonderful traditional bakery in the centre of Palma. A must visit for any foodie. Some of the savoury choices were amazing. I'm an (English) pork pie lover and was interested to try the traditional Mallorcan pork and pea pie. Nothing at all like English pork pies, but utterly delicious 😋. Great for a quick lunch. My son and I went two days running just to eat the pork pie 🥧. Yum.

Beautiful pastry shop with a wonderful atmosphere. Everything looks incredible the moment you walk in, with a huge variety of traditional and freshly made pastries. The quality is outstanding, we tried several items, and each one was delicious. The service was friendly, and the whole place has a cozy, authentic vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Palma!

Fantastic food, we bought a selection of savoury and sweet treats, all were amazing, however the pork and peas pie stole the show. The best pie I have ever had. The cafe next door allows you to eat pastries from this shop if you buy their coffee, which average, but still very convenient.

We tried this cute, Spanish café today and can only recommend it. The inside is absolutely beautiful, with old wood furniture and elegant decoration, it creates a cozy atmosphere. There was a polite waiter who was really friendly and brought us our order fast. To the food I can only say: try it! The cake is delicious, rich in flavour, the ice cream soo creamy and the Horchata was extremely good. If you wanna have an authentic café experience you should definitely check this café out :)

We discovered this café while searching for a place to have coffee on Google Maps. After reading the many positive reviews, we decided to visit and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was very friendly and the food we tried was delicious. It may not be an extraordinary place, but the interior design and unique character give it a very special charm. It feels like stepping into a café from the 1940s or 1950s. We especially loved the decorative tiles and the bright and airy atmosphere inside. If you are nearby, it is definitely worth visiting for a drink or a meal. You will leave happy.

So actually there's a few of these dotted around Palma, but I think this one was the original ? The decor was certainly "authentic" and rustic. I purchased an ensemaida and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Absolutely delightful and a huge amount of calories 😂 but with it. Hot chocolate was half cream and definitely very rich and indulgent. The ensemaida was really light with a crispy crust to it.

This place is amazing! Founded in 1700, it's a 325-year-old classic. The vibe and interior decor get a full score from me. ​The coffee is seriously good, and you absolutely have to try their specialty Quarto and Ensaimada—they are delicious! ​Just a heads-up: it gets super crowded, so while you can usually grab a seat, waiting for your order might take a while. But trust me, the history and the taste make it totally worth the wait!

We discovered Ca’n Joan de s’Aigo with my friends, and we just loved it! It’s a real local gem with a cozy, traditional atmosphere. The ensaimadas were so fresh and delicious, and the almond ice cream was amazing. It felt authentic and full of charm, definitely a place you shouldn’t miss when in Palma!

A delicious cup of hot chocolate and fresh coffee ice cream! This place is an institution and is very beautiful inside as they have kept the restaurant and its history alive. It is authentic and I would definitely go back!

Service and ambience: It gets very busy so make sure to book ahead. The service was great waitstaff were quite helpful with order recommendations. Food: Quality of the food was great: - Calamari was tender on the inside but not as crispy as I would’ve liked it to be. - Beef croquettes were crispy but lacked in flavor a bit - Octopus was amazing well chard some of the best I’ve ever had. - stake tartar was good and well balanced. - Oxtail with broken eggs was bit heavy but over all pleasant.

We ended up at La Rosa on the recommendation of a local working in a nearby shop — and I’m so glad we did. This turned out to be the best dining experience of my entire trip. Every tapa we tried was beautifully executed — each one a perfect, delicious bite. I’ll be dreaming of the garlic red prawn croquettes and the grilled Iberian pork with truffled parmentier — both absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and we were able to walk in and get a table for six upstairs. You truly get what you pay for here. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll absolutely return.

La Rosa was fantastic, the waiter was amazing, so friendly and allowed us to order different dishes at different times. The food was delicious, the steak was so tender it just melted in the mouth. If I'm ever back in Palma I'd definitely visit again. It was extremely busy, best to book in advance.

Avoid this place! The food is OK but not better than the local tapas restaurant on the corner. It is better presented on the plate than most restaurants, but the taste gives no sensations at all. The service is very bad, even though the waiters have a nice, polite attitude. Waiters take a very long time and forget what we asked for several times. I'm surprised at how unprofessional the service is. Perhaps it's more of a management problem, looking at the resource side—but then it will be permanently bad. We had a wine called Mula Mucho at a low price. Even though it has a photo of a dog on the bottle, it was surprisingly great. (Note: usually I never buy wines with "over-commercial" labels/stickers.) The restaurant seems to have taken over the restaurant next to Vermuteria called Colmado, and this is where we had our table. They call it a "classic table," but with no backrest, it will hurt your back a lot. Apparently, they want to shove in as many people as possible, and chairs with backrests take up too much space. Looking at the total, based on the bad service and the medioker level of the food, we will never ever come here again. Our expectations where a lot higher.

Great for dinners and savoring vermouth (homemade btw). In the evening times a smaller group will not wait long to be invited compared to a larger group. Ideally a reservation will make it work faster. The food was tasty and service was great (kudos to our waitress Sonya:) ) highly recommended when you visit Palma!

Had an amazing lunch at La Rosa Tapas in Palma! 🇪🇸 Authentic Spanish flavors with super fresh ingredients. Loved the Padrón peppers and garlic prawns — simple but so delicious! Great atmosphere too, definitely a must-try spot in Palma.

Amazing place! Must visit. But don’t go on a Saturday if you can help it as it’s too busy. Wander around then sit at one of the bars and have tapas either in the fish market or the meat market. Loved it!

Seafood paradise! Totally nondescript building housing 10 fishmongers and as many Seafood, Sushi, Oyster bars. Go early, shuts at 3pm. Lovely large Albarino €4, enough said. Enjoy 😉

I highly recommend it😍 You can try a wide variety of fresh seafood there at very reasonable prices, and everything was absolutely delicious. I also tried fresh oysters for the first time ☺️they were truly amazing! You can even find authentic Iranian caviar and enjoy the experience. It’s a bit crowded and noisy, but totally worth it for an hour of great food and atmosphere! 🥰

Definitely a much go place. A big market consist of fresh fruits vegetables meat and dry food. Also Various selection of stalls that serve cooked food, tapas and drinks.

We really enjoyed shopping here and felt like we were getting a taste of real Mallorca. Found this place randomly while searching for “ensaïmadas” on Google Maps and I was extremely surprised. They had several different pastries and I don’t regret trying any of them. Everything is so tasty, the place is cozy, the staff is nice, and the prices are affordable. What a hidden gem!

All in all, incredibly tasty! The saleswoman was very friendly and the location is central. Sitting and enjoying your food on site isn’t quite as charming as on the nearby square. Prices are high, but there’s a good selection and everything tastes delicious!

Searched for a bakery to buy a snack on our walk through the city of Palma, and found this gem (among some others in close vicinity). Too bad, if you would be close to my hotel where we were staying I would definitely be a daily customer. Almond croissant was just one of the best, really good. Everything in the bakery, including bread etc. looked delicious, would definitely tried it. Also very friendly lady working in the shop. It is possible to pay with card.

I was looking for a place where to buy a buckwheat bread and somebody recommended this bakery. Came early morning and they had plenty of different types of bread, all smelling delicious. The buckwheat bread is very tasty, happy to find a place where it’s made. They also sell coffee, expensive but very good.

Amazing sourdough loaf! Almond croissant was crisp and delicate with a soft floral filling, apple strudel was generously filled with a powerful apple flavor, and an impeccable pan au chocolat. Old world style pretzel blew me away... a lovely kind, patient staff with good english, even! Really made my day. And I must reiterate, that sourdough boule had the perfect balance of textures you only get through time and attention. Don't miss this one!

Fantastic Bread, Owners and Staff!! Often i take Sourdough Olive loaf and a roast chicken from Mister Poulet at market, add salad a squeeze of lemon and voila you have a fantastic Santa Catalina Sandwich

Best bakery in Mallorca for me. Bread is amazing, pan au chocolat flaky on the outside, filled with dark chocolate and buttery inside. Fougasse is a favourite too. Also have books in multiple languages available! Doesnt get better than this!!

The place is close to the city center. I was looking to eat paella negra and accidentally the PR of the restaurant told me to come. He was very nice. The restaurant is very chill, with low lights and house music vibes. The waiters are very friendly, and the serving is professional. The food expected from delicious it was a masterpiece, created by passion and art. The chef seemed very focused when. Creating the dishes, you can see from the window. In total the amount of money was worthy!

Amazing customer service and food. Ate here two nights while in Palma and both times we’re greeted with friendly staff and food that was delicious. Our waitress we had both nights and she was attentive and caring. The gentleman (forgot his name unfortunately) outside of the restaurant was the kindest and friendliest man we met in Palma. Treated my wife and I more like old friends than tourists from New York. We both can’t wait to return and meet again.

Our steak was cooked exactly to our request for well-done, achieving a difficult balance of being thoroughly cooked yet still juicy and full of flavour, a true testament to the skill of the kitchen. We rounded off our meal with a dessert that was equally lovely, providing a sweet and satisfying conclusion. Our only regret is that we were too full to sample their cocktail menu, which we heard great things about from neighbouring tables. It simply gives us a perfect excuse to return! Without a doubt, Neo Cultural is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. We wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable meal accompanied by impeccable service and a stunning setting.

Very nice place with a vibrant athmosphere. Our waiter was also very nice and discussed food and drinks with us. We had some tapas, the prawn skewers were very good, but the paella pan was too salty and the fried squid was not so crispy and without a taste. Wine was mediocre ok, but for 37 eur for the bottle we expected more. Overall we awaited more taste for the price level, which is set higher, so the tapas are not cheap.

Dinner 2 Pp End of August at about 20:00. We had great cocktails and some good argentinian meat with an outstanding chimichurri-sauce. The waitresses where all very kind and did a good job. My wife and myself enjoyed oure time there.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining here yesterday, and everything was simply outstanding: attentive service, nice atmosphere, the experience was flawless. But what truly stood out were the chef’s dishes — every plate was a work of art. You can really taste the creativity and passion in every bite. Compliments to the chef for delivering such a memorable meal! I’ll definitely come back!

Bloody lovely food. Amazing chicken burrito, staff have been really friendly and energetic. Food is by far the best I have had in Tsilivi.

Came here as a party to eat dinner. Had both pizza and pasta. The truffle pizza we had tasted almost nothing unfortunately. We also had a pasta with shrimps(spagetti gambas y aglio oli?) and it was not very good at all, you couldn’t taste any oil or garlic, it only tasted «sea», but dispite of that it lacked any salt or seasoning. Tasteless and bland. The only positive was the starter, «antipasti», which was huge and tasted good. Without the starter, this would be a 2 star review. The service was okay, but it took way to long to get the bill and pay. After the first time we asked for the bill, we waited 20minutes, asked again and then got it in about 5minutes. So all in all 25minutes after we first asked to pay.

We received the pizza very quickly, but that’s where the positives end. Tasteless, overcooked, and after two slices I gave up on this questionable feast. I do not recommend it.

Very nice place, we were helped rather quickly even though they had a line with people waiting to be seated, the staff was super friendly and attentive. They have good courses, esp the truffle pasta and Calzone was amazing 🙌 we even received complementary Limoncello shots from the chef, 10/10 would recommend ;)

Most of it is not working in the morning, later on the diversion is not as great, as far as food goes, some places make and some just warm up things, however most don't bother adding prices. It is generally for the local folk and not so touristy-welcoming. Can't say I liked it. Didn't find anything to appeal for me, and came in twice. Didn't even get pictures inside, as there was nothing to take a picture of....

We bought a few delicacies from here like dried spices, fruits and the rotisserie chicken. All delicious. We indulged the bought items by the park close by, under the trees on a sunny day. Bliss.

We went around 1 pm on a weekday and found plenty fruits and food items to enjoy. It was not super busy thankfully. Street parking was easy. It has a few coffee / bar options and other things like cheese, fish etc like any such market. Very clean and can easily visit under an hour. Great location as it’s close to other things in central Palma

The restaurants in the market are very good and the toilets are clean as a person is constantly cleaning.

A really nice market, much smaller than Olivar Market but offer almost the same thing for a slightly fairer price and less crowded. There're standing bars with various tapas, deep-fried seafoods and grill service. Notice that no fish stands open on Monday.

I was looking for lemon cake in Palma and found this cafe, it was amazing and super refreshing. I definitely recommend trying it. The coffee was great too, and I loved the coffee art! 🤍

Definitely one of the most delicious pastrami sandwiches and their soft sandwiches are my favorite! They make everything themselves, and it's truly exquisite. The new location is very pleasant, and everyone is really kind. They also have their own bread and croissant production, but it's at a nearby separate location, so pay attention when looking for the bakery or eatery.

Staff so helpful and patient. Food so great. If you like ham, you have to try the pastrami!! Awesome renovation. I enjoyed sitting beside the massive windows.

The attention was very helpful, but I had to wait 30 for 2 pieces of bread, an egg with 3 kilos of pepper and half an avocado that looked more like a stone than an avocado, a pity that the food and the waiting time is not at the level of the service.

I live nearby and started to come few days ago. Ordered 2 times for takeout and ate 2 time there with a friend or alone. No WiFi, kinda disappointing especially when the place is completely empty in the afternoon, I understand why… The food is always good, pastries are high quality so I’m not mad about the price.

Everything was really delicious, but the portion sizes were really small. We ended up having to order a third dish between the two of us, which made it all in all very expensive. Other than that, it’s a cool, funky venue.

In general, the good was tasty but a bit salty . The pistachio pizza is special taste, it’s perfectly match the nuts and bacon. Just two thing : 1. Waiting time it’s a bit long, we were there waited for one hour, it’s better we knew this before we sit in, I think they need to inform us at first. 2. Some of staff there was okay attitude, they dont really express friendly just like robot. I don’t like this.

We returned back again to taste other dishes in this fantastic restaurant where positive vibes are flowing around. Nice staff, delicious food. This time we took ‘Maccheroni al Pomodoro che vorrei with meatballs and eggplant’ and ‘Spaghettoni al ragù bolognese Big spaghetti - with my grandma's bolognese’ 😋😋😋. And ultimate tiramisu.❤️‍🔥

After a beach day at Cala Gran , we decided to take away the recommended Tiramisu and Mortedella/ Pistacchio Pizza This was some next level greedy Pizza eating, best one so far! Tiramasu was tongue-melting , we still dream of it. We drove to a small Marina port nearby with a beautyfull view, life is good. Such a simple meal, go for it!

We had such a fantastic meal at La Pappa in Mallorca, the pasta was amazing! We didn’t try the pizza ourselves, but they looked absolutely delicious. We even went back again during our holiday. You do have to wait in line for a bit, but it’s totally worth it. Definitely a must-try!

Ordered carbonara, clams, truffle pasta, bolognese, and margherita pizza with prosciutto. SUCH a let down for how popular this place seems to be. Had to wait in a long line for a table. I enjoyed the pizza but could’ve done without all of these pastas. The specialty beer to pair with the pizza was also nice! The clams were also good. There isn’t any truffle in the pasta, just oil or some type of essence. The pasta noodles for that dish were soggy. Carbonara was extremely salty.

1/6 - Probably the best pizza I've had in Mallorca. We stood in the line for around 40min, they're busy, and I understand why. Definitely worth the wait. They also serve local beers, which not many do. Such a vibe and everything was delicious. Let's not forget the affogato with pistachio ice cream, like you must try this one.

This is a great spot and almost has it all. Great food, staff and location. My reason for four stars is because the food took close to an hour to come out despite the quick turn around everywhere else in the restaurant. We were sat at a small table away from the main area (not by choice) and we were a little forgotten. However, the food was delicious. Definitely five stars for that. The energy of the staff was also very much appreciated, despite the heat. You could see how hard they were working. Perhaps the kitchen needs more hands!

Truly divine! What an amazing little find. Quaint, full of personality, and so delicious. We were greeted by the owner/chef with playful conversation before seating us. The local wine was really good and the tapas even better. This is a can’t miss experience with local flavor.

We were a large group of 9, and had the best dining experience! The waitress was so wonderful and offered great suggestions. The chef is out of this world and creates masterpieces. The food is incredible and as a vegetarian, I so appreciated the veg friendly menu!!! Absolutely recommend this delicious restaurant ❤️

I think this was the best gastronomic experience in my life. We had five small plates for three, which was fine - ordering more won't help much if you're hungry, it's all about the taste, although the presentation is also perfect. The number of plates per person mainly determines how much time you'll spend around the table. Two is reasonable. The chef manages to find great combinations of flavours. The grilled cauliflower had a nice juicy aftertaste, the risotto was good, but more surprising was the beetroot with goat cheese and almonds, and the grilled beef with truffles. I didn't try the porc with porto, but the other side of the table loved it. The cake with orange ice cream and almonds snips was really good. Considering the price and the small size of the dishes, perhaps they should just provide all the bread you need to fill up and to clean the delicious sauces. That's the only little comment I might have.

Amazing! As soon as you walk into the restaurant, it feels like home so cozy and peaceful. It’s such a unique, personal touch that the chef is also the one serving the food. You can truly see the passion and love he puts into every dish. My family and I tried almost everything on the menu, and the shrimp and pesto pasta were my absolute favourites! We loved it! Also for me as a vegetarian. We were very impressed by the couple (?) that is running this restaurant all by them selves. The lady welcomes and serves the guests like speedy González and she does it all with joy and a genuine smile. The same applies for the chef. They serve classic meals like pasta arrabiata, crepes suzette, mozzarella salad, etc. It was all delicious and the price was just €17,50 for a three course with bread and wine or water. Highly recommened! Ps bring cash with you as they don't accept card payments.

Wow, ordered the menu, starter the most amazing yet simple fresh salad with beetroot, apple nuts onions feta. Followed by the most tender entrecot and delicious home made chips and peppercorn sauce. The steak was so big I had to take it home. A desert of freshly baked tart atatan. The best value and a quality money could buy super impressed. Service smiley warm friendly, overall an exceptional experience. All run by woman too 💪. Will most definitely be back!

Friendly and very professional. Had a wonderful meal. I give them 5 stars for the cleanliness and the quality of their dishes. Within walking distance from Paseo of the Ramblas. There are two underground car parks not far, so its very handy when you go out shopping. They have a daily set menu (2 courses) for just under 15€ which includes a drink, bread and dessert. Extremely good value for money.

I had not been back since we moved to Puerto Pollensa. I met a friend for lunch. They open at 1pm. The place looked very much as I remembered it. It is now under the ownership of Maribel Moll who used to work for the previous French chef/owner. The quality of the food has remained the same too! We had the Menú del Día at €17,90 (includes bread and water). We bot had the cold tomato and cherry soup which was delicious and refreshing. My friend had the salmon xith mashed potatoes and I had the "steak frites" with a peppercorn sauce (3€ supplement) we both enjoyed our first courses very much. There was a variety of desserts on offer, we liked our choices. The service was very friendly and efficient.During this heat wave the AC was really appreciated! We will be back.

The food was very good, the Hazelnut croissants, the flans and the coffee are definitely my favorite. The tall guy serving customer hasn’t been friendly at all, he didn’t even acknowledge us when we came in ( even if we said hello when we came in). The service wasn’t good at all and we had to get our order ourselves from the counter after we sat down. We have visited the place on a very quiet morning so no excuse at all. Lluis Perez is making so much efforts to offer the best pastries to his customers and the whole experience has been ruined because of the 2 team members present on that day. What a shame !

NOT tourist friendly. Very rude service. Better & kinder cafes nearby. Added: Waitress failed to mention no outside drinks until after we were seated. She in fact came over and rudely told us to leave while we were already looking at the menu we were provided with. Then when we were more than happy to throw out our already consumed drinks she said okay we could stay. We told her we were ready to order new coffees and food from their cafe and that’s when we were kicked out. We were confused as to why she suddenly changed her mind. This was no misunderstanding. She was rude and hostile despite us being more than understanding.

Nice address for desserts in Palma, we definitely recommend trying the chocolate and raspberry cake! We took some madeleines but we did not like them, they got somehow the taste from the plastic bag, not good.

“Vegan? Maybe not…”. Luckily I stopped to look at my phone/map and consulted a young cycling couple seated in the yard of his little gem. They nodded enthusiastically so what the heck. Great vibe, great food and beverage, great chats with very likeable team. (Oh, and not really vegan, although I left with the self-righteous glow of having eaten vegan anyway AND been forgiving to American proprietor).

I first discovered Fika Farina through an Instagram account I follow and have been eagerly awaiting the chance to try it ever since. With all that anticipation, I was a bit nervous—could it really live up to the hype? The answer: absolutely. This place delivers pastry perfection — light, crisp, flaky croissant dough, superb cardamom and cinnamon rolls, and a wonderful mix of unique creations and timeless classics, all executed with excellence. My only wish is that they offered seating so customers could relax and truly savour the experience.

We came here two days in a row, due to the absolutely spectacular pastries. The taste and quality was top tier, one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to! We got there at opening time (8am), so everything was fresh from the kitchen, the freshness was reflected in the flavour. Absolute must visit if you are in the palma old town area!!!

This is an expensive and for some reason, very famous bakery. We tried their coco and Danish pastry with frambuesa. The Danish was good, but we didn’t really get the point of the coco. Definitely lived up to the hype! The cardamom and cinnamon buns were buttery, flakey, and fresh. I enjoyed them very much! A bit pricier than expected but worth trying. I would go with the cardamom if you’re having trouble deciding which! Also arrived around 4 pm and they still had plenty of buns.

We got in a bit late so options were a bit limited but the cinnamon roll which was the one I wanted to try was amazing. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area. The best French bakery in Palma! Don’t get fooled by this shops small size- their pastries are absolutely delicious! After repeated visits, I have tried the almond croissant, two different flavors of rolls, and a loaf of olive bread. Everything I’ve tasted has been fantastic. The service is friendly, funny, and English speaking, and I couldn’t have felt more welcomed. This bakery is definitely worth a try, I promise you won’t regret it.

OMG! I recently discovered this lovely French bakery with a 4.9 rating on google, and I have to say it absolutely deserves it. Every pastry was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were out of this world. The almond croissant, in particular, was extraordinary—truly mind-blowing! I’ll definitely be coming back. Plus, the staff were exceptionally friendly, making the whole experience even better. I also tried in another day the Lobster roll and it was also very well made and very tasty! We visited and bought matcha and three rolls - strawberry and white chocolate, pistachio, and chocolate and orange. The owner was super sweet and informative. The food was delicious and flavorful, had an outstanding texture (crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside), and the flavour combinations were innovative and amazing. The filling was perfect, with no dryness and the perfect amount of quantity.

I am not sure what they are called but the croissant wheels are absolutely delicious. We had the pistachio one and it was light, buttery, sweet, and absolutely delicious with a fantastic crunch. Highly recommend getting one of these beautiful little wheels of deliciousness.

Very nice hotel and well run and managed. For a city hotel they have a decent outside space even so for a week stay it will be very claustrophobic I guess. The only thing I do not like are the glass doors to the bathroom where you have no noise cancellation. But that is a minor detail in the overall good experience.

Great hotel in a perfect location near Santa Catalina. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The food is outstanding, and the rooftop bar is a real highlight. However, the rooms are extremely noisy – tiled floors, thin walls and doors. If you don’t mind that, it’s a fantastic place to stay. Just don’t expect peace and quiet if you have loud neighbors.

I have been staying in this Hotel a few times now. The location in the middle of the center is perfect, staff is very friendly. Make sure to book on the official hotel site and not the first on the algorythm, I have unfortunatley paid way too much!

This was my first solo adventure and I could not have picked a better place to stay! The location of the hotel was excellent. The staff were lovely and always said hello when I walked through the lobby. I stayed in a single room and loved it! It had everything you needed to feel comfortable. Good bed, very clean, good facilities, great air conditioning, a window with a view. The rooms are not well soundproofed, but this didn’t bother me. I would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others. I didn’t use the rooftop bar, so cannot comment on the quality of that.

We had a great overall experience staying at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their professionalism really made a difference. The location is also excellent — close to beautiful parts of the city and just a short walk from several bus stops, which made getting around very convenient. However, one major downside that impacted our stay was the poor sound insulation. The walls were extremely thin, and we could hear even the slightest noise from the hallway — it often felt like someone was inside our room. For a four-star hotel, this was quite surprising and disappointing, especially considering that a hotel should offer peace and rest. Unfortunately, it significantly disrupted our sleep during the night.

Central location on a busy shopping street, next to a coffee shop and close to a department store, 5-10 minutes walk from the main restaurant and bar areas. The rooms are clean and bright, everything looked recently refurbished and immaculate condition. We were in a room overlooking the road, with a balcony, so there was a fair amount of noise at night from bin lorries. Opt for a room on the other side if the noise will bother you, however the black out curtains and shutters were great. There's a SkyBar on the 8th floor open to the public so it was busy every evening, even in October. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities (more than 2 tea / coffee sachets per room) but a minor issue for such a good location.

We were up at the sky bar at lunchtime and wanted to have a drink and enjoy the great view. We might have also ordered something to eat, depending on what was on offer. The waitress was very unfriendly and looked quite dismissive when we mentioned it. Drinks only upstairs. A table only with food. We said we would look at the menu and were given a table inside. After we decided to just have a drink based on what was on offer (the drinks had already been served), we had to get up straight away and vacate the table. Just returned from a spectacular 5 night stay/holiday with my 18 year old daughter for her special birthday and it did not disappoint! If I could give this hotel 100 stars I would!! The hotel it self is gorgeous, very clean and all modern rooms with touch screen controls. Cleaned each day and fresh towels if we needed. Our hot tub was on point after our late flight. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for us on any request and very pleasant at all times. The breakfast was plentiful and the hot food was hot! Definitely worth the 14 euros. The roof top pool bar and food was excellent and plenty of beds. We loved the Poke bowls! We had the holistic experience in the spa and it was amazing. Didn’t use the spa but looked relaxing. Fantastic location, a 5 min walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Lots of lovely spots around the hotel - sushi restaurant opposite was beautiful and Italian up the road. I cannot praise this hotel enough it’s the best I’ve stayed in for a long time and will be returning hopefully next year. Hats off to the team and mangers. Thanks Claire & Kitty x

We have just returned home after 5 nights at your wonderful hotel. On checking in we were met by Patricia who was so friendly and helpful. Throughout our stay all of the staff treated us in exactly the same way. Our room 310 was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold with plenty of choice. The rooftop pool area was not large but there was enough beds etc to enjoy the sunshine. Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the shops and bars. The 1A service bus taking you to / from the airport is a 5 minute walk away. A really lovely hotel in a central location. Perfect in every way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I will be returning without any doubt. Thank you to everyone.

Great stay for 3 nights at a lovely hotel. Rooms were lovely. Roof top pool was very nice, good place to sit for a pre-drink in the sun. It’s right in the middle of Palma. Around 10 minutes walk to the cathedral. Perfect location for exploring a great city. Not too far from the bus and train stations. Very comfortable beds, great shower. We did not eat at the hotel but the breakfast looked good. Would return and recommend.

Had a fabulous week long stay at this top class hotel. Staff all friendly & welcoming, must mention Patricia on reception who gave us a wealth of information on check in which was super helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean & stylish. Lovely full length window with window seat. Room bright & spacious. Roof top terrace was excellent, hired Bali beds for our days at the pool, €25 per day which was great value. Price of food & drinks at pool bar reasonable. Would not hesitate to return or recommend this wonderful hotel 😊

Don’t recommend coming here.. The staff doesn’t understand anything in English and looks at you with disgust if you try to communicate through it. I ordered espresso and a ensaimada, the espresso was incredibly bland, no crema and tasted underextracted, the bottom of the ensaimada was drenched in oil and tasted like just oil.. also didn’t get anything to eat it with, nor any paper to wipe my hands.

We loved it here. We were passing by and decided to take a little break. We had no idea this was such an iconic shop with a long history. So many people were buying large ensaimadas to go. We had one and it was delicious. The coffee too was good.

Everything was fresh and every bite of the ensaimadas are soft, fluffy bits of heaven. Coffee is also good here. Prices are very reasonable. There’s space to sit, though it gets busy and packed at certain times.

Hi! We went for two coffees and pay 6,40€, nothing special just “café con leche” as called in Spain and shown in picture below. We found it really expensive considering we tried cafeterias few streets away with same price and speciality coffee. Considering quantity, presentation and taste is really not worth the 6,40€ Is not about being expensive or cheap, is about paying what is fair.

This is a really good local bakery in Palma centre. I tried their almond pastry. It had perfect dough (crunchy outside and soft inside) and wasn’t too sweet (though a bit heavy as almond fillings naturally are). Great with a coffee. Prices are a little on the expensive side but still worth a try if you’re in the area.

Absolutely magical flavor – I had a pistachio cream–filled cube made from croissant dough (not sure what it’s called, but it was unforgettable). You can see straight into the kitchen, where fresh croissants are being made non-stop. You might expect an older, traditional bakery team, but it’s actually a group of young women running the place – and you can tell they’re doing it with real heart. Bonus points for the cappuccino: served the traditional Italian way, without the unnecessary cocoa powder the Spanish often add.

7 euros for a piece of bread. Maybe there is a magical superpower in the dough?! Sad to see the prices go up so much whilst the salary’s in Mallorca are still lower than EU average and even below the Spain average.

The food was amazing - we got a lovely salmon bagel with avacado and cream cheese. It was so fresh and flavoursome. They served a lovely and strong iced coffee with a freshly squeezed orange juice. It is very reasonably priced and great selection on their menus. Service and staff were amazing. Overall, great exprience and would definitely recommend. Pros: - excellent food and service - beautiful decor - AC inside and outdoor seating - seems to be wheelchair accessible - family friendly Cons: - cannot fault this place at all. Cute Café and a very nice Lady running this place. I tried the açaí bowl, which was ok… would have appreciated homemade granola! Latte art was beautiful on the Flat white and it tasted good as well. I enjoyed the very crispy and flaky croissant in the afternoon and the lemon tartlet was not too sweet but pastry could have been crispier and the merengue had a funny texture.

Great vegan ice cream!! Not just sorbet, they also have pistachio, hazelnut & vegan chocolate as well as lots of fruit flavours. Everything clearly labelled & you can have 2 flavours in a small cone/tub (for €4.50). Would definitely recommend!

Service and ambience: Gigi was out server and she was great , it was busy but they are quite quick. Food: The gelato was sublime I tried the pistachio, cheesecake , Rafaelo & the bonoffi pie flavors. All were great I got a cone with pistachio & cheesecake make sure to get the chocolate inside the cone.

Today, my boyfriend bought a gelato in this store first. The staff there had a very bad expression and were not enthusiastic at all. After he bought it, I wanted to try the pistachio-flavored one. We said it five times before the female clerk gave me a spoonful to taste. The second time I bought three balls, I changed the shop assistant, but he still had a very bad look on his face. When he was making ice cream for me, he didn't press it tightly and it was very loose. When I was filling the first ball, I wondered if it could be filled steadily. Caro y Malo. Yesterday we tried it for the first time, 11 euros for one small (one scoop) and a medium cup (2 scoops). I wanted a small cup and the waitress insisted I should rather have a bigger one, my partner gave up and took the “normal” one, finally after asking 3 times, they went to look for the small cups, which were not even exposed. Prices are not exposed. When we are about to pay, I see they are charging us 29,9 euros, so I tell them straight they can keep the ice-cream if that’s the price. The waitress finally double checks and charges us 11,00 euros. Terrible experience. There is nothing artisanal or “deluxe” about this icecream, taste is very industrial and flavored. Never going back.

We loved it here! The servers were very nice and patient when trying to decide what to choose. The “Coca de Patata” was really good, we got the normal but I would recommend the Nutella filled, the Almond Cake was extremely good, I would go back just for it. The rest of the food was very good also and to finish off, it wasn’t expensive for all the food we got, we paid 17€. We sat outside, very lovely and chill.

We visited 4 times during our stay in Mallorca. Homemade granizado de almendra (almond horchata), huge chunks of almonds in it, so good on a hot day !! Life changing ensaimada de crema quemada- pretty much creme brûlée in a soft pastry. Great coca de verdura (thin veggie pizza), Jampn Serrano baguette, and decent coffee, although I preferred the granizado. Fresh pressed orange juice. Everything is fresh and made in house. Great outside terrace to sit on. Highly recommend !!

The best gelato I’ve tasted anywhere: creamy, rich in flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet or filling, and always fresh. Strawberry and “Colonial” have to be my favorite flavors, but it’s hard to pick favorites when every flavor is worth trying. Gluten free cones are available too, and they are delicious with any flavor.

When we arrived, the café was full, usually a good sign, but no staff were in sight. After sitting for a while, a waiter appeared and told us (in broken English) that we should have asked before taking a seat. This was confusing, as there had been no one to ask. He reluctantly let us stay and came back to take our order. When my wife asked for a menu, he pointed to a napkin holder with several small QR codes. None led directly to a menu; instead, they opened hotel websites where the menu might possibly be hidden. Even if we misunderstood the process, expecting guests to guess the right QR code without any “Menu” label feels unreasonable. We decided not to order and left for another café, where we were warmly welcomed and served with a smile.

It has some good deserts such as crepes, wofles and of course ice creams. Their breakfast is definitely recommendable. Unfortunately it's one of the worse services I've seen on the island and that is saying something, but if that does not bother you then it's a good place for breakfast or a snack.

I’ve never had any better. the espresso was okay, but we have drunk better ones. I guess, with a little more beans and pressure while water rinses through, the espresso could be great and its taste could just be fuller and the crema on top would be better. staff one of the waitresses (the smaller one) brought us a cake, we didn’t want, because we had mixed them up during ordering. she sort of acted pis*ed, because we said that we wanted a piece of a different cake, if possible. no smile, an upset face, not friendly. recommendation one star minus because of - the waiting time for paying the bill (but there were really many other guests); - the smaller waitress, who should work on her attitude towards customer service; - only two little pieces of mandarines in the cheese-mandarine-cake. 4 stars and recommendation, if you love great cakes and a nice coffeeshop a little away from the tourist crowds. Just had a fantastic breakfast here. This is a bakery as well as a cafe and so loads of the breads are fresh. I ordered the small breakfast - 3 different breads and various delicious spreads. The missus order the "fitness" breakfast which is the same plus scrambled eggs and tomatoes plus turkey. We couldn't rest everything so the staff have gave us a bag to take 2 of the bread rolls back and some Nutella. The coffee is very good. And the fresh orange is spot on. Hope we get to go back. The staff are lovely and the huge owner (Biggly?) is cool and friendly. Menus are in Spanish and German so don't be afraid to ask for an English version of you need. Highly recommend this cafe.

Just visited Can Joan de s'Aigo and had a wonderful experience. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and a traditional ensaimada that was absolutely delicious — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the prices were surprisingly affordable considering the quality and setting. This cafe was a recommendation from a friend who lives here. We had Ensaimadas and one meat pie to go. Both was amazing and I wish, I had more!! You have to try the Ensaimada here. We had the plain (normal) one but I think all of them are good.

Called in today against my better judgment based on past reviews . We should have stayed away with our friends . Raw uncooked food on half the orders. Over charged and for food that was sent back and food added to the bill that was never ordered taking the bill to €300 . There was 4 beef burgers sent back as they where raw and not cooked fully . Sorry about the poor lighting on the picture but you can see the raw burger . They had the neck to send two of them back to the table cut in half and recooked . I have never had raw food reserved to me . It's a pity such a wonderful venue serves food so bad . Next time follow the past reviews and keep away from this place .

Not to be picky but they didn’t even give me a baguette I got a ciabatta with one slice of cheddar and a slice of bacon, it was borderline cold and looked like it had been microwaved, waited so long every other food place was closed , night absolutely ruined as I was starving, have never received such poor service, as someone who works in a bar/restaurant I have never been so shocked to receive such poor service from such a nice looking restaurant. Waiter took so long to come take our order I genuinely thought I had to order at the bar then was shooed away. The drinks also took 15 minutes to come out and considering it was 2 cans of juice that is pathetic. Please do not go here and if you are like me reading the reviews after you’ve already been, I am sorry you had to experience this as well. never written a bad review in my life but I was so gobsmacked I actually needed to let people know

This was one of our favorite places on our vacation, but today the waitress charged €12 for two large beers. I confirmed the price again and he said that a large beer costs €6. After finally getting a table, it took forever for someone to come and take our order. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. After what felt like an eternity, our food finally arrived, only to be a huge letdown. The portions were ridiculously small, the food was cold, and the prices were unreasonably high for what we got. Overall, a very frustrating and unsatisfying experience. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Great little place with freshly made Bocadillos and excellent salads - reasonably priced and made to order. Food menu is very straightforward...delicious fresh crusty baguettes with great fillings, fresh salad, meats etc, or split open and presented as a simple bread pizza. Local beer on tap and a wide variety of cocktails, freshly squeezed juices, mock tails and shakes. Service is friendly but not exactly speedy as I feel the kitchen has limited capacity, so it's worth tucking in as soon as your dish is ready (not very English but it's better to enjoy your meal at its best. ) However the desserts are divine, combining freshly cooked crepes or waffles with their delicious home made ice cream, and fresh fruits. Waffles are the lightest I have tasted ever and personally are perfect with the tangy cherries in sauce matched with the creamy vanilla ice cream. Each waffle dessert is easily enough for 2 to share, but they are so nice you'll wish for an entire one to yourself. It's easy to see that they are trying to appeal to British and German tourists and I think they do this really well. Breakfast is also available from 9-12 apparently as a German or English option. The menus as they are laden with photos seem to bring to mind (to me) of places in the U.K. where they buy in pre-prepared food and simply take it out of the freezer and pop the lid off before plating it. This is most definitely not the case here. Though the served dishes are presented at least as attractively as in the menu photo! Prices are pretty reasonable all round with the average baguette ( hot or cold) around €4.30 and the deserts slightly more. Drink prices reasonable too. We've hit this place 2 days in a row and have ordered different dishes each time and have been delighted on both occasions. I think we'll be back again....and again... Unlike the places nearby the music here is very chilled and low key, large umbrellas protect the entire party from the sun during the day. Toilets, interior and outside are all spotlessly clean.

70% satisfaction. Coffee was good. Crepes = not worth the money, I've got 3 halves of 2 smaller pancakes ... what happened with the fourth one? 😁 Waffles were enough for kids 2 pcs served with ice cream 👍 "helado" ice coffee was tasty.

(Deducted starts for rude/chauvinistic waiter) This coffee shop is a nice place to get a taste of the local cuisine. It’s super affordable too, which makes it really popular. Having said that, I’m truly appalled at the treatment I received from the server. He made some uncalled for and completely out of place comments about my weight and about the food I was ordering. It truly ruined the moment for me, and I still feel let down by the sort of waiters they are hiring to serve customers.

We were tipped off by my daughter about this hidden gem, and it's easy to see why people line up to get in during busy times! We visited during a quiet moment and were able to soak in the charming, vintage interior... this place is like stepping back in time. The ice cream was incredibly fresh, and the prices are unbeatable! we got 2 beers, 2 ice creams, a chocolate drink, and an apple dessert all for just €21! Sure, the crockery and glasses might be a bit chipped, but when you’re in a café that’s apparently 300 years old, it just adds to the character, right? Skip the obvious gelato spots and make the 15-minute walk from Palma Cathedral. Trusttttt me, you won’t regret it!

Come for the ensaimada. The plain one was the pick of the bunch for me but the apple and custard one is good too. Decent coffee too. Great way to start the day before exploring the city.

Spacious cafe great for an afternoon break. We got the pumpkin jams filled Ensaimada, but found it to be too sweet.

My accommodation in Palma is nearby. On my way heading over to a local cafe, I got past by this place and saw a queue outside. Did some research and decided to go forward with signature Majorca bakery on the first day of my trip. Not disappointed at all! Ensaimada and Cuarto both had very nice texture to them - Ensaimada is on the oily side, but super delicate sweetness with layered soft pastry texture. Would recommend to anyone who visits Majorca. ————— Went back for a second visit (take away this time) - tried another 5 bakeries. My favourite is Custard Ensaimada.

Busy but lovely place. Definitely worth the visit. The ensaimada is really the best and prices are right. If you want to take home a box, make sure to reserve at least 2 days.
