Bakery
Cake shop
Fornet de la Soca, formerly known as Forn des Teatre, is a traditional bakery located in Plaza Weyler at the heart of Palma. The bakery prides itself on recreating forgotten local recipes from the turn of the century and offers a beautiful display of Mallorcan products for visitors to take home. The charming premises are housed in a modernist building with rolling shapes and plant motifs as its focal point, adding to its allure.
I absolutely loved how charming this bakery looks. I was taken over by its vintage pretty window display and was instantly drawn in to see more. It looks enchanting. The cone shaped coconut cake looked unique and new to me, so I bought it right away. What a tasty, coconut cake. One of the best I have had! I may go back to try more items soon. :) Recommended: coconut cake

Stopped by Fornet de La Soca to pick up some sweets and ensaimadas to bring back to Germany - and what a fantastic choice it was. The place has a special charm, with a beautifully traditional atmosphere that feels truly authentic. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The staff were warm, friendly, and more than happy to help with recommendations and packaging for travel. A wonderful experience overall - highly recommended if you’re looking to take home a real sweet taste of Mallorca!

omg the friendliest stuff😭😭 we bought our ensaïmadas to take to our own country and they let us collect for later. Pumpkin filled ensaïmada was 14,5€. The delicious pastry (see the pic 3) was filled with delicious lemons 10/10 i can absolutely recommend

Wonderful traditional bakery in the centre of Palma. A must visit for any foodie. Some of the savoury choices were amazing. I'm an (English) pork pie lover and was interested to try the traditional Mallorcan pork and pea pie. Nothing at all like English pork pies, but utterly delicious 😋. Great for a quick lunch. My son and I went two days running just to eat the pork pie 🥧. Yum.
Edward H — Google review
Beautiful pastry shop with a wonderful atmosphere. Everything looks incredible the moment you walk in, with a huge variety of traditional and freshly made pastries. The quality is outstanding, we tried several items, and each one was delicious. The service was friendly, and the whole place has a cozy, authentic vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Palma!
Victor B — Google review
This is a very authentic and iconic bakery in Palma. The food isn’t extraordinary but the place is full of character and charm. Prices are reasonable.
Alperen T — Google review
Really beautiful traditional bakery with vintage vibe. Only a few vegetarian options. Savoury pies usually get over by evening.
Palash J — Google review
Fantastic food, we bought a selection of savoury and sweet treats, all were amazing, however the pork and peas pie stole the show. The best pie I have ever had. The cafe next door allows you to eat pastries from this shop if you buy their coffee, which average, but still very convenient.

Ca'n Joan de s'Aigo is a historic café located in Palma, Mallorca, known for its rich hot chocolate and traditional pastries like ensaimada and handmade almond ice-cream. The café offers a taste of authentic local flavors, making it a must-visit for those looking to experience the culinary delights of the area.
A very pleasant place, where I started my every day, because of the freshly baked on the spot ensaimadas. The hot chocolate did not make me such a big impression as previous reviews say but the fresh, hot, airy pastry was really amazing, every day. I can not recommend eating any of the others, as I don't know how fresh they'd be, the one I tried wasn't, but the simple, regular one is really a reason to go back again, even though I did it 3 days in a row in my stay in Palma.
Marin K — Google review
We tried this cute, Spanish café today and can only recommend it. The inside is absolutely beautiful, with old wood furniture and elegant decoration, it creates a cozy atmosphere. There was a polite waiter who was really friendly and brought us our order fast. To the food I can only say: try it! The cake is delicious, rich in flavour, the ice cream soo creamy and the Horchata was extremely good. If you wanna have an authentic café experience you should definitely check this café out :)
Bellas E — Google review
We discovered this café while searching for a place to have coffee on Google Maps. After reading the many positive reviews, we decided to visit and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was very friendly and the food we tried was delicious. It may not be an extraordinary place, but the interior design and unique character give it a very special charm. It feels like stepping into a café from the 1940s or 1950s. We especially loved the decorative tiles and the bright and airy atmosphere inside. If you are nearby, it is definitely worth visiting for a drink or a meal. You will leave happy.
Mert I — Google review
So actually there's a few of these dotted around Palma, but I think this one was the original ? The decor was certainly "authentic" and rustic. I purchased an ensemaida and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Absolutely delightful and a huge amount of calories 😂 but with it. Hot chocolate was half cream and definitely very rich and indulgent. The ensemaida was really light with a crispy crust to it.
Wil C — Google review
This place is amazing! Founded in 1700, it's a 325-year-old classic. The vibe and interior decor get a full score from me. The coffee is seriously good, and you absolutely have to try their specialty Quarto and Ensaimada—they are delicious! Just a heads-up: it gets super crowded, so while you can usually grab a seat, waiting for your order might take a while. But trust me, the history and the taste make it totally worth the wait!
R D — Google review
We discovered Ca’n Joan de s’Aigo with my friends, and we just loved it! It’s a real local gem with a cozy, traditional atmosphere. The ensaimadas were so fresh and delicious, and the almond ice cream was amazing. It felt authentic and full of charm, definitely a place you shouldn’t miss when in Palma!
Samira — Google review
Great Café with excellent atmosphere and excellent cakes. Really worth to seek it and walk there. Expect a waiting line or try to make a reservation in advance.

A delicious cup of hot chocolate and fresh coffee ice cream! This place is an institution and is very beautiful inside as they have kept the restaurant and its history alive. It is authentic and I would definitely go back!

La Rosa Vermuteria & Colmado is a laid-back eatery with a vintage ambiance that offers a variety of tapas, grilled dishes, and traditional fare. While some may find the concept posh for a vermouth place, it provides an opportunity to experience this classic drink in a different setting. The restaurant's decor, featuring vintage Martini signs and an impressive collection of antique seltzer bottles, makes it highly Instagrammable.
Excellent recommendation from our friend. Great service, walk-in available for 2 just after 12pm. Food was tasty! And reasonable prices. Sangria was the best we’ve had. Lovely staff with a nice vibe inside.
Myles M — Google review
Service and ambience: It gets very busy so make sure to book ahead. The service was great waitstaff were quite helpful with order recommendations. Food: Quality of the food was great: - Calamari was tender on the inside but not as crispy as I would’ve liked it to be. - Beef croquettes were crispy but lacked in flavor a bit - Octopus was amazing well chard some of the best I’ve ever had. - stake tartar was good and well balanced. - Oxtail with broken eggs was bit heavy but over all pleasant.
Mohammed S — Google review
🍷 La Rosa Vermuteria & Colmado has a wonderful atmosphere and offers traditional Spanish flavors with a modern touch. From tapas to different varieties of vermouth, you can enjoy many authentic tastes here. The food and drinks are carefully selected and truly delicious. ⚠️ A small note: Making a reservation is highly recommended. Without one, you might face long waiting times or even struggle to find a table, especially during peak hours. 👍 With a reservation, the experience becomes much smoother and more enjoyable. For those who prefer to go spontaneously, it’s still worth a try, but be prepared to wait.
Ugurcan A — Google review
We ended up at La Rosa on the recommendation of a local working in a nearby shop — and I’m so glad we did. This turned out to be the best dining experience of my entire trip. Every tapa we tried was beautifully executed — each one a perfect, delicious bite. I’ll be dreaming of the garlic red prawn croquettes and the grilled Iberian pork with truffled parmentier — both absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and we were able to walk in and get a table for six upstairs. You truly get what you pay for here. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll absolutely return.
Stephanie M — Google review
La Rosa was fantastic, the waiter was amazing, so friendly and allowed us to order different dishes at different times. The food was delicious, the steak was so tender it just melted in the mouth. If I'm ever back in Palma I'd definitely visit again. It was extremely busy, best to book in advance.
Susan O — Google review
Avoid this place! The food is OK but not better than the local tapas restaurant on the corner. It is better presented on the plate than most restaurants, but the taste gives no sensations at all. The service is very bad, even though the waiters have a nice, polite attitude. Waiters take a very long time and forget what we asked for several times. I'm surprised at how unprofessional the service is. Perhaps it's more of a management problem, looking at the resource side—but then it will be permanently bad. We had a wine called Mula Mucho at a low price. Even though it has a photo of a dog on the bottle, it was surprisingly great. (Note: usually I never buy wines with "over-commercial" labels/stickers.) The restaurant seems to have taken over the restaurant next to Vermuteria called Colmado, and this is where we had our table. They call it a "classic table," but with no backrest, it will hurt your back a lot. Apparently, they want to shove in as many people as possible, and chairs with backrests take up too much space. Looking at the total, based on the bad service and the medioker level of the food, we will never ever come here again. Our expectations where a lot higher.
Stefan N — Google review
Great for dinners and savoring vermouth (homemade btw). In the evening times a smaller group will not wait long to be invited compared to a larger group. Ideally a reservation will make it work faster. The food was tasty and service was great (kudos to our waitress Sonya:) ) highly recommended when you visit Palma!

Mercat de l’Olivar is Palma's largest covered market, conveniently located near the Placa d'Espanya and the main transport hub. The historic hall is filled with vendors selling a variety of goods, from produce and cheese to seafood and pastries. It has been open since the 1950s and offers an array of Balearic cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, Spanish olives, island salts, as well as takeaway Mallorcan meals.
A beautiful market with a great atmosphere! Fresh fish, delicious tapas, and local specialties – you’ll find everything here. I loved the mix of locals and tourists; it feels lively but not overcrowded. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Palma!
Axel H — Google review
Amazing place! Must visit. But don’t go on a Saturday if you can help it as it’s too busy. Wander around then sit at one of the bars and have tapas either in the fish market or the meat market. Loved it!

Seafood paradise! Totally nondescript building housing 10 fishmongers and as many Seafood, Sushi, Oyster bars. Go early, shuts at 3pm. Lovely large Albarino €4, enough said. Enjoy 😉

I highly recommend it😍 You can try a wide variety of fresh seafood there at very reasonable prices, and everything was absolutely delicious. I also tried fresh oysters for the first time ☺️they were truly amazing! You can even find authentic Iranian caviar and enjoy the experience. It’s a bit crowded and noisy, but totally worth it for an hour of great food and atmosphere! 🥰

A must see to absorb the local life. Amazing place! Catch a coffee at Arabay Coffee and relax, then wander around more. Their fresh fish area was wonderful!
Michael R — Google review
A must-visit local gem in the heart of Palma! We were truly impressed by how vibrant and authentic Mercat de l'Olivar is. It’s much more than just a market — it’s an experience! From fresh local produce to seafood, cheese, and even handmade goods, there’s so much to discover. Prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially compared to shops in more touristy areas. We really enjoyed shopping here and felt like we were getting a taste of real Mallorca. There are also plenty of food stalls and small restaurants inside where you can either grab a takeaway or sit down for a fresh, delicious meal right at the market. It's the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a quick coffee break between sightseeing. If you're planning a trip to Palma, don’t skip this place — it’s one of those spots that gives you a true sense of local life.

Nestled in the charming neighborhood of Santa Catalina, Palma de Mallorca, Thomas Bakeshop Boutique has been delighting locals since its establishment in 2016 by Thomas Grasberger and his wife Michelle. This quaint bakery is a true gem for anyone who appreciates artisanal baking. With an impressive array of sourdough breads, flaky croissants, and delectable pastries, it’s no wonder that residents flock here for their daily bread fix.
A really cute little bakery with superb croissants and pastries and beautiful looking bread. My almond croissant was flaky on the outside and very generously filled. Friendly and great value too.

Searched for a bakery to buy a snack on our walk through the city of Palma, and found this gem (among some others in close vicinity). Too bad, if you would be close to my hotel where we were staying I would definitely be a daily customer. Almond croissant was just one of the best, really good. Everything in the bakery, including bread etc. looked delicious, would definitely tried it. Also very friendly lady working in the shop. It is possible to pay with card.

I was looking for a place where to buy a buckwheat bread and somebody recommended this bakery. Came early morning and they had plenty of different types of bread, all smelling delicious. The buckwheat bread is very tasty, happy to find a place where it’s made. They also sell coffee, expensive but very good.

Amazing sourdough loaf! Almond croissant was crisp and delicate with a soft floral filling, apple strudel was generously filled with a powerful apple flavor, and an impeccable pan au chocolat. Old world style pretzel blew me away... a lovely kind, patient staff with good english, even! Really made my day. And I must reiterate, that sourdough boule had the perfect balance of textures you only get through time and attention. Don't miss this one!

Cocktail bar
El Neo is a trendy tapas and cocktail bar located near the cathedral in Palma. The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian dishes presented beautifully in a bohemian and trendy space with a great atmosphere. Guests can enjoy original tapas dishes paired with signature themed cocktails while soaking up the cool vibes of La Lonja neighborhood. The restaurant's chef adds a nice touch to the experience by being visible to customers, and the music and lighting create an excellent ambiance.
The host was so inviting we had to come in! Our server was perfect and attentive. Even the chef in the little window was so friendly. The food was amazing! We were a group of 3 looking for a place we could all dine together that had vegan options for myself. My only frustration was that the menu stated things were vegan when they were vegetarian so I just wish that was more clear. It’s nice to just order something on the menu that doesn’t need to be modified.
Delanie M — Google review
The place is close to the city center. I was looking to eat paella negra and accidentally the PR of the restaurant told me to come. He was very nice. The restaurant is very chill, with low lights and house music vibes. The waiters are very friendly, and the serving is professional. The food expected from delicious it was a masterpiece, created by passion and art. The chef seemed very focused when. Creating the dishes, you can see from the window. In total the amount of money was worthy!

Amazing customer service and food. Ate here two nights while in Palma and both times we’re greeted with friendly staff and food that was delicious. Our waitress we had both nights and she was attentive and caring. The gentleman (forgot his name unfortunately) outside of the restaurant was the kindest and friendliest man we met in Palma. Treated my wife and I more like old friends than tourists from New York. We both can’t wait to return and meet again.

We chose to visit Neo Cultural for dinner on what turned out to be a bustling and vibrant night. Despite the crowd, our experience was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The waiters were the epitome of professionalism and warmth, deeply attentive, remarkably patient with our questions, and genuinely kind throughout the entire evening. The moment you step inside, the atmosphere is captivating. The decor is truly majestic, blending elegant design elements that create a sophisticated yet inviting ambiance. It’s clear that every detail has been carefully considered to enhance the dining experience. Now, onto the food, which was an absolute delight from start to finish. The pizza arrived with a perfectly charred, thin crust that tasted wonderfully fresh and lovingly prepared. Our steak was cooked exactly to our request for well-done, achieving a difficult balance of being thoroughly cooked yet still juicy and full of flavour, a true testament to the skill of the kitchen. We rounded off our meal with a dessert that was equally lovely, providing a sweet and satisfying conclusion. Our only regret is that we were too full to sample their cocktail menu, which we heard great things about from neighbouring tables. It simply gives us a perfect excuse to return! Without a doubt, Neo Cultural is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. We wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable meal accompanied by impeccable service and a stunning setting.
Kate P — Google review
Very nice place with a vibrant athmosphere. Our waiter was also very nice and discussed food and drinks with us. We had some tapas, the prawn skewers were very good, but the paella pan was too salty and the fried squid was not so crispy and without a taste. Wine was mediocre ok, but for 37 eur for the bottle we expected more. Overall we awaited more taste for the price level, which is set higher, so the tapas are not cheap.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining here yesterday, and everything was simply outstanding: attentive service, nice atmosphere, the experience was flawless. Bianco e Rosso is an Italian restaurant located in the lively area of Santa Catalina. The restaurant is known for its excellent Italian specialties, including a delicious carpaccio de ternera served on a bed of salad greens with slivers of parmesan. The brownies at Bianco e Rosso are also highly recommended for their moisture, texture, and taste.
Delicious pizza and drinks with great service. We really enjoyed our meal here. Staff were eating the food too on their breaks, so you know it’s good! We were given olives as a free starter, we don’t like them however this was a nice touch. Brownie was a little too over cooked but everything else was perfect :)

Bloody lovely food. Amazing chicken burrito, staff have been really friendly and energetic. Food is by far the best I have had in Tsilivi.
G D — Google review
Came here as a party to eat dinner. Had both pizza and pasta. The truffle pizza we had tasted almost nothing unfortunately. We also had a pasta with shrimps(spagetti gambas y aglio oli?) and it was not very good at all, you couldn’t taste any oil or garlic, it only tasted «sea», but dispite of that it lacked any salt or seasoning. Tasteless and bland. The only positive was the starter, «antipasti», which was huge and tasted good. Without the starter, this would be a 2 star review. The service was okay, but it took way to long to get the bill and pay. After the first time we asked for the bill, we waited 20minutes, asked again and then got it in about 5minutes. So all in all 25minutes after we first asked to pay.

Very nice place, we were helped rather quickly even though they had a line with people waiting to be seated, the staff was super friendly and attentive. They have good courses, esp the truffle pasta and Calzone was amazing 🙌 we even received complementary Limoncello shots from the chef, 10/10 would recommend ;)

Mercat de Santa Catalina is a must-visit undercover food market in the trendy Santa Catalina neighborhood. It's recommended to explore it after sunset, as the area comes alive with its thriving nightlife, featuring trendy bars, clubs, and contemporary restaurants. The market offers a variety of local delicacies such as sobrassada sausage, olive oil, meats, cheeses, wines, and liqueurs. You can also find stalls selling oils, chutneys, honey, and other packaged goods.
Located in a wonderful part of the city, we stopped during our morning run and loved the variety of local products. We also had a small Spanish breakfast and it was amazing!
Sara N — Google review
Most of it is not working in the morning, later on the diversion is not as great, as far as food goes, some places make and some just warm up things, however most don't bother adding prices. It is generally for the local folk and not so touristy-welcoming. Can't say I liked it. Didn't find anything to appeal for me, and came in twice. Didn't even get pictures inside, as there was nothing to take a picture of....
Marin K — Google review
We bought a few delicacies from here like dried spices, fruits and the rotisserie chicken. All delicious. We indulged the bought items by the park close by, under the trees on a sunny day. Bliss.
Natasha L — Google review
Great place to go with several bars and restaurants inside. Prices and availability vary. But usually good value and great seafood as there's a lot of fish for sale in the market
Neil W — Google review
We went around 1 pm on a weekday and found plenty fruits and food items to enjoy. It was not super busy thankfully. Street parking was easy. It has a few coffee / bar options and other things like cheese, fish etc like any such market. Very clean and can easily visit under an hour. Great location as it’s close to other things in central Palma
N P — Google review
The restaurants in the market are very good and the toilets are clean as a person is constantly cleaning.
D M — Google review
A really nice market, much smaller than Olivar Market but offer almost the same thing for a slightly fairer price and less crowded. There're standing bars with various tapas, deep-fried seafoods and grill service. Notice that no fish stands open on Monday.

Prices are really crazy. 90 eur per kilo of red gambas, 5 eur per oyster….Sounds like a restaurant, not a market 😅😅😅🥲

Rosevelvet is a trendy coffee shop and bakery in Palma that offers a variety of pastries, cakes, and brunch options. The cafe menu includes breakfast burritos, bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches, and delectable homemade cakes and pastries. They source their coffee from top European roasters. Visitors can enjoy their treats in the compact terrace or the lovely courtyard at the back of the cafe.
Rosevelvet Eatery might be the most beautiful café in Palma. I was so happy to finally find my perfect scandi-style brekkie: a slice of sourdough with cheese and a boiled egg – so simple, but always a winner. The prices are fair, the coffee is great, and the pastries are just as good. Only downside: the acoustics. It can get quite noisy when it’s busy. Still, one of my absolute favorite spots in the city!

I was looking for lemon cake in Palma and found this cafe, it was amazing and super refreshing. I definitely recommend trying it. The coffee was great too, and I loved the coffee art! 🤍

Definitely one of the most delicious pastrami sandwiches and their soft sandwiches are my favorite! They make everything themselves, and it's truly exquisite. The new location is very pleasant, and everyone is really kind. They also have their own bread and croissant production, but it's at a nearby separate location, so pay attention when looking for the bakery or eatery.

Staff so helpful and patient. Food so great. If you like ham, you have to try the pastrami!! Awesome renovation. I enjoyed sitting beside the massive windows.
C L — Google review
The attention was very helpful, but I had to wait 30 for 2 pieces of bread, an egg with 3 kilos of pepper and half an avocado that looked more like a stone than an avocado, a pity that the food and the waiting time is not at the level of the service.

I live nearby and started to come few days ago. Ordered 2 times for takeout and ate 2 time there with a friend or alone. No WiFi, kinda disappointing especially when the place is completely empty in the afternoon, I understand why… The food is always good, pastries are high quality so I’m not mad about the price.

La Pappa Mallorca is a charming Italian restaurant that delights diners with its homemade pasta and authentic Neapolitan pizzas, all prepared with traditional techniques. The menu also features delectable desserts and ice creams made in-house, ensuring an authentic taste of Italy. While some guests have noted that certain pizzas could use a bit more flavor, the quality of the dough and tomato sauce has received praise. Unique offerings like the pistachio pizza combine interesting flavors such as nuts and bacon for a special twist.
Really lovely Italian food with gorgeous drinks and super friendly staff. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but the turnaround is quick so it wasn’t an issue. The portions are generous and quite filling, so I’d recommend sharing dishes. Everything was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
Y F — Google review
In general, the good was tasty but a bit salty . The pistachio pizza is special taste, it’s perfectly match the nuts and bacon. Just two thing : 1. Waiting time it’s a bit long, we were there waited for one hour, it’s better we knew this before we sit in, I think they need to inform us at first. 2. Some of staff there was okay attitude, they dont really express friendly just like robot. I don’t like this.

We returned back again to taste other dishes in this fantastic restaurant where positive vibes are flowing around. Nice staff, delicious food. This time we took ‘Maccheroni al Pomodoro che vorrei with meatballs and eggplant’ and ‘Spaghettoni al ragù bolognese Big spaghetti - with my grandma's bolognese’ 😋😋😋. And ultimate tiramisu.❤️‍🔥

After a beach day at Cala Gran , we decided to take away the recommended Tiramisu and Mortedella/ Pistacchio Pizza This was some next level greedy Pizza eating, best one so far! Tiramasu was tongue-melting , we still dream of it. We drove to a small Marina port nearby with a beautyfull view, life is good. Such a simple meal, go for it!

We had such a fantastic meal at La Pappa in Mallorca, the pasta was amazing! We didn’t try the pizza ourselves, but they looked absolutely delicious. We even went back again during our holiday. You do have to wait in line for a bit, but it’s totally worth it. Definitely a must-try!
Jill W — Google review
Ordered carbonara, clams, truffle pasta, bolognese, and margherita pizza with prosciutto. SUCH a let down for how popular this place seems to be. Had to wait in a long line for a table. I enjoyed the pizza but could’ve done without all of these pastas. The specialty beer to pair with the pizza was also nice! The clams were also good. There isn’t any truffle in the pasta, just oil or some type of essence. The pasta noodles for that dish were soggy. Carbonara was extremely salty.
Tran L — Google review
1/6 - Probably the best pizza I've had in Mallorca. We stood in the line for around 40min, they're busy, and I understand why. Definitely worth the wait. They also serve local beers, which not many do. Such a vibe and everything was delicious. Let's not forget the affogato with pistachio ice cream, like you must try this one.
Jaunne L — Google review
This is a great spot and almost has it all. Great food, staff and location. My reason for four stars is because the food took close to an hour to come out despite the quick turn around everywhere else in the restaurant. We were sat at a small table away from the main area (not by choice) and we were a little forgotten. However, the food was delicious. Definitely five stars for that. The energy of the staff was also very much appreciated, despite the heat. You could see how hard they were working. Perhaps the kitchen needs more hands!

Amazing food and experience all around! The owner/chef was incredible. I would eat here everyday if I could. Extremely healthy tasty Mediterranean tapas style food.
Daniel D — Google review
I think this was the best gastronomic experience in my life. We had five small plates for three, which was fine - ordering more won't help much if you're hungry, it's all about the taste, although the presentation is also perfect. The number of plates per person mainly determines how much time you'll spend around the table. Two is reasonable. The chef manages to find great combinations of flavours. The grilled cauliflower had a nice juicy aftertaste, the risotto was good, but more surprising was the beetroot with goat cheese and almonds, and the grilled beef with truffles. I didn't try the porc with porto, but the other side of the table loved it. The cake with orange ice cream and almonds snips was really good. Considering the price and the small size of the dishes, perhaps they should just provide all the bread you need to fill up and to clean the delicious sauces. That's the only little comment I might have.
S V — Google review
Amazing! As soon as you walk into the restaurant, it feels like home so cozy and peaceful. It’s such a unique, personal touch that the chef is also the one serving the food. You can truly see the passion and love he puts into every dish. My family and I tried almost everything on the menu, and the shrimp and pesto pasta were my absolute favourites! Thank you, Dino from all of us.

Small and cozy venue with a very welcoming staff. We took the menu del dia and were surprised by the quality and portions. The food was authentic and the place catered to the locals (the menu was only in Spanish) which was definitely an advantage.

We loved it! Also for me as a vegetarian. We were very impressed by the couple (?) that is running this restaurant all by them selves. The lady welcomes and serves the guests like speedy González and she does it all with joy and a genuine smile. The same applies for the chef. They serve classic meals like pasta arrabiata, crepes suzette, mozzarella salad, etc. It was all delicious and the price was just €17,50 for a three course with bread and wine or water. Highly recommened! Ps bring cash with you as they don't accept card payments.

Service smiley warm friendly, overall an exceptional experience. All run by woman too 💪. Will most definitely be back!

Extremely good value for money.

I had not been back since we moved to Puerto Pollensa. I met a friend for lunch. They open at 1pm. The place looked very much as I remembered it. It is now under the ownership of Maribel Moll who used to work for the previous French chef/owner. The quality of the food has remained the same too! We had the Menú del Día at €17,90 (includes bread and water). We bot had the cold tomato and cherry soup which was delicious and refreshing. My friend had the salmon xith mashed potatoes and I had the "steak frites" with a peppercorn sauce (3€ supplement) we both enjoyed our first courses very much. There was a variety of desserts on offer, we liked our choices. The service was very friendly and efficient.During this heat wave the AC was really appreciated! We will be back.

The food was very good, the Hazelnut croissants, the flans and the coffee are definitely my favorite. The tall guy serving customer hasn’t been friendly at all, he didn’t even acknowledge us when we came in ( even if we said hello when we came in). The service wasn’t good at all and we had to get our order ourselves from the counter after we sat down. We have visited the place on a very quiet morning so no excuse at all. Lluis Perez is making so much efforts to offer the best pastries to his customers and the whole experience has been ruined because of the 2 team members present on that day. What a shame !

NOT tourist friendly. Very rude service. Better & kinder cafes nearby. Added: Waitress failed to mention no outside drinks until after we were seated. She in fact came over and rudely told us to leave while we were already looking at the menu we were provided with. Then when we were more than happy to throw out our already consumed drinks she said okay we could stay. We told her we were ready to order new coffees and food from their cafe and that’s when we were kicked out. We were confused as to why she suddenly changed her mind. This was no misunderstanding. She was rude and hostile despite us being more than understanding.

From delicious rye and sourdough loaves to Mallorcan-inspired pastries, Fika Farina is open all day, every day for your pastry fixes.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delightful! I recently visited Fika Farina Coffee and Bakery, and I was blown away by the quality and flavor of their pastries. I tried several different items, and while everything was delicious, the pistachio croissant completely stole the show — simply amaaazing!!! Flaky, buttery, and filled with rich pistachio cream, it was easily one of the best croissants I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Whether you’re a coffee lover, pastry enthusiast, or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I first discovered Fika Farina through an Instagram account I follow and have been eagerly awaiting the chance to try it ever since. With all that anticipation, I was a bit nervous—could it really live up to the hype? The answer: absolutely. This place delivers pastry perfection — light, crisp, flaky croissant dough, superb cardamom and cinnamon rolls, and a wonderful mix of unique creations and timeless classics, all executed with excellence. My only wish is that they offered seating so customers could relax and truly savour the experience.

This is an expensive and for some reason, very famous bakery. We tried their coco and Danish pastry with frambuesa. The Danish was good, but we didn’t really get the point of the coco. It wasn’t bad but just felt a bit unnecessary, you know… Maybe we were missing something (are we supposed to dip it in chocolate sauce or eat it a certain way?). Overall, it wasn’t bad but we honestly didn’t understand why there’re more than a thousand reviews here and always a line in front…

Every pastry was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were out of this world. The almond croissant, in particular, was extraordinary—truly mind-blowing! I’ll definitely be coming back. Plus, the staff were exceptionally friendly, making the whole experience even better. I also tried in another day the Lobster roll and it was also very well made and very tasty! I highly recommend this place

Friendly French bakery with the best croissants in Mallorca. Returned to try their almond croissant and pistachio Mallorcan Roll — both were exquisite, and elegantly sweet.

This is the best pastry I’ve had! I had the chocolate and almond paste croissant, it was even warm and fresh from the window!

We visited and bought matcha and three rolls - strawberry and white chocolate, pistachio, and chocolate and orange. The owner was super sweet and informative. The food was delicious and flavorful, had an outstanding texture (crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside), and the flavour combinations were innovative and amazing. The filling was perfect, with no dryness and the perfect amount of quantity.

I am not sure what they are called but the croissant wheels are absolutely delicious. We had the pistachio one and it was light, buttery, sweet, and absolutely delicious with a fantastic crunch. Highly recommend getting one of these beautiful little wheels of deliciousness.

Hotel Saratoga is a modern and luxurious hotel located in the center of Palma de Mallorca. The hotel offers sleek rooms and suites, with amenities such as free Wi-Fi, balconies, and terraces. Guests can enjoy the rooftop pool with stunning city views or relax at the two other pool areas on the ground floor, one of which is heated for year-round enjoyment. The hotel's management is highly praised for their warm welcome and support to guests.
We stayed here for 5 nights and could not fault the hotel whatsoever. The hotel is lovely and clean at all times. The rooms are brilliant and have everything you could want. From the shower, to the comfy bed and the large smart tv, it was well worth the money. I’d like to especially mention the staff, they would always greet us with a smile and were incredibly helpful at all times. The pools are brilliant too, and we never struggled to find an unoccupied sunbed. I’d highly recommend including breakfast in your stay as it was delicious everyday, with so many different options. The only thing that could be improved was the gym, there isn’t much equipment in there. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Palma, thanks to the hotel for such a wonderful stay.

What a wonderful hotel! Perfect location in the heart of Palma. Very friendly and attentive staff. Three beautiful pools invite you to relax, especially the rooftop pool with its breathtaking view of the cathedral and the harbor. The dinner can also be highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Palma – right in the center, yet with quiet and modern rooms. Very nice rooftop pool with bar and beautiful pool area in the patio. Friendly service and fair prices for drinks and food – great breakfast. Very nice policy on sun loungers – towels left on "reserved" loungers are removed in a friendly but consistent manner, so that all guests looking for a lounger can find a spot. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay & see you next time.

Amazing! Such a wonderful stay we had at Saratoga. The rooms are clean, simple but very accommodating. The hotel has plenty of amenities and the staff was always super nice and helpful. I would 100% recommend staying here while in Palma.

Location is fantastic to everything you need. Shopping, bars, restaurants, sights, buses, ocean. Its a sleek hotel with nice large rooms, very popular place and extremely clean, great attention to detail. We will recommend to family and friends 100% 🧡

Very nice hotel and well run and managed. For a city hotel they have a decent outside space even so for a week stay it will be very claustrophobic I guess. The only thing I do not like are the glass doors to the bathroom where you have no noise cancellation. But that is a minor detail in the overall good experience.
Clemens T — Google review
Great hotel in a perfect location near Santa Catalina. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The food is outstanding, and the rooftop bar is a real highlight. However, the rooms are extremely noisy – tiled floors, thin walls and doors. If you don’t mind that, it’s a fantastic place to stay. Just don’t expect peace and quiet if you have loud neighbors.

Hotel Almudaina in Palma de Mallorca is a laid-back 4-star hotel offering comfortable rooms and Mediterranean dining. Located in the center of the city, it's just a short walk from popular attractions like Plaza Espana and Palma Yacht Club. The hotel features Wi-Fi throughout the property and a rooftop lounge with panoramic views.
Located central to all amenities and within easy walking distance to most major attractions. An excellent hotel. Rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds, cleaned daily, excellent bathroom with all soaps, shampoos and body lotions supplied. The breakfasts cover for every taste with a wide selection of hot and cold food. The Sky restaurant and roof top seating area overlooking the marina and cathedral is wonderful. Have a drink or cocktail late afternoon and enjoy the sun or before your evening meal. This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly. Would really recommend this hotel for your stay in Palma.

This was my first solo adventure and I could not have picked a better place to stay! The location of the hotel was excellent. The staff were lovely and always said hello when I walked through the lobby. I stayed in a single room and loved it! It had everything you needed to feel comfortable. Good bed, very clean, good facilities, great air conditioning, a window with a view. The rooms are not well soundproofed, but this didn’t bother me. I would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others. I didn’t use the rooftop bar, so cannot comment on the quality of that.
Rachael G — Google review
We had a great overall experience staying at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their professionalism really made a difference. The location is also excellent — close to beautiful parts of the city and just a short walk from several bus stops, which made getting around very convenient. However, one major downside that impacted our stay was the poor sound insulation. The walls were extremely thin, and we could hear even the slightest noise from the hallway — it often felt like someone was inside our room. For a four-star hotel, this was quite surprising and disappointing, especially considering that a hotel should offer peace and rest. Unfortunately, it significantly disrupted our sleep during the night.
Mohsen F — Google review
Great location, rooms were spacey and well furnished. We have stayed for couple of nights before heading back to the airport, this Hotel sits in one of the best locations if you aim to discover the beautiful city of Palma. Staff went above and beyond to cater to my many requests and their hospitality is very genuine (not a common sight in Mallorca, unfortunately). Recommended!
Francesco G — Google review
A simple and comfortable hotel in a perfect location to explore Palma old town. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Fresh supply of still and sparkling water every day. Lovely views from the skybar which was very reasonably priced - €4 for a glass of wine. Breakfast was adequate. Good facilities for storage and freshening up after check out.
Jeremy G — Google review
Central location on a busy shopping street, next to a coffee shop and close to a department store, 5-10 minutes walk from the main restaurant and bar areas. The rooms are clean and bright, everything looked recently refurbished and immaculate condition. We were in a room overlooking the road, with a balcony, so there was a fair amount of noise at night from bin lorries. Opt for a room on the other side if the noise will bother you, however the black out curtains and shutters were great. There's a SkyBar on the 8th floor open to the public so it was busy every evening, even in October. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities (more than 2 tea / coffee sachets per room) but a minor issue for such a good location.
Alison H — Google review
First of all, I would like to say that this review only refers to the sky restaurant or sky bar and not to the hotel. We were up at the sky bar at lunchtime and wanted to have a drink and enjoy the great view. We might have also ordered something to eat, depending on what was on offer. The waitress was very unfriendly and looked quite dismissive when we mentioned it. Drinks only upstairs. A table only with food. We said we would look at the menu and were given a table inside. After we decided to just have a drink based on what was on offer (the drinks had already been served), we had to get up straight away and vacate the table. I understood in principle, but the way we were treated was very unfriendly. From the first second, we did not feel welcome there. The only positive thing is that the view over the city is fantastic.

The hotel's restaurant offers excellent value with its menus del dia, including a standout option at just 15 euros. Conveniently located within walking distance of the city center, the hotel also provides private parking for guests.
A modern charming hotel in Palma to enjoy the city center. Location is great, right next to a bus station to airport. Rooms are clean and we liked the design, especially the bathroom with window, something rare to find in city hotels. The breakfast was varied, good options for gluten free products, good coffee too. We really enjoyed the swimming pool on the roof, really quiet and nobody bothered us in the evening. The opening hours should be longer for the swimming pool and pool bar, especially since it is summer season.

Just returned from a spectacular 5 night stay/holiday with my 18 year old daughter for her special birthday and it did not disappoint! If I could give this hotel 100 stars I would!! The hotel it self is gorgeous, very clean and all modern rooms with touch screen controls. Cleaned each day and fresh towels if we needed. Our hot tub was on point after our late flight. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for us on any request and very pleasant at all times. The breakfast was plentiful and the hot food was hot! Definitely worth the 14 euros. The roof top pool bar and food was excellent and plenty of beds. We loved the Poke bowls! We had the holistic experience in the spa and it was amazing. Didn’t use the spa but looked relaxing. Fantastic location, a 5 min walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Lots of lovely spots around the hotel - sushi restaurant opposite was beautiful and Italian up the road. I cannot praise this hotel enough it’s the best I’ve stayed in for a long time and will be returning hopefully next year. Hats off to the team and mangers. Thanks Claire & Kitty x

We have just returned home after 5 nights at your wonderful hotel. On checking in we were met by Patricia who was so friendly and helpful. Throughout our stay all of the staff treated us in exactly the same way. Our room 310 was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold with plenty of choice. The rooftop pool area was not large but there was enough beds etc to enjoy the sunshine. Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the shops and bars. The 1A service bus taking you to / from the airport is a 5 minute walk away. A really lovely hotel in a central location. Perfect in every way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I will be returning without any doubt. Thank you to everyone.

Great stay for 3 nights at a lovely hotel. Rooms were lovely. Roof top pool was very nice, good place to sit for a pre-drink in the sun. It’s right in the middle of Palma. Around 10 minutes walk to the cathedral. Perfect location for exploring a great city. Not too far from the bus and train stations. Very comfortable beds, great shower. We did not eat at the hotel but the breakfast looked good. Would return and recommend.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. The front desk staff were unhelpful and seemed annoyed by basic questions. The room itself was not properly cleaned—there was dust on surfaces, and the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. The linens didn’t appear fresh, and overall the room felt neglected. Additionally, noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway made it difficult to sleep. Despite bringing this to the staff’s attention, no solution was offered. Considering the price I paid, I expected at least a clean, comfortable room and professional service. Sadly, I received neither. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

Had a fabulous week long stay at this top class hotel. Staff all friendly & welcoming, must mention Patricia on reception who gave us a wealth of information on check in which was super helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean & stylish. Lovely full length window with window seat. Room bright & spacious. Roof top terrace was excellent, hired Bali beds for our days at the pool, €25 per day which was great value. Price of food & drinks at pool bar reasonable. Would not hesitate to return or recommend this wonderful hotel 😊

In addition to this specialty, the bakery offers a variety of other flavors including chocolate, apricot, cream and marzipan. Visitors also flock to Forn del Santo Cristo for their cocas de patata (sweet potato buns).
A great find, just 50m from our door. Fabulous pastries and breakfast treats, plus sandwiches. The freshly squeezed orange juice is the best I've had outside Florida. We're visiting for a wedding tomorrow and arrived Monday. Our host has a book of information prepared and also explained her favorites. One was the Santo Cristo. We've been there 4 days in a row. Good coffee too.

Don’t recommend coming here.. The staff doesn’t understand anything in English and looks at you with disgust if you try to communicate through it. I ordered espresso and a ensaimada, the espresso was incredibly bland, no crema and tasted underextracted, the bottom of the ensaimada was drenched in oil and tasted like just oil.. also didn’t get anything to eat it with, nor any paper to wipe my hands.

Hi! We went for two coffees and pay 6,40€, nothing special just “café con leche” as called in Spain and shown in picture below. We found it really expensive considering we tried cafeterias few streets away with same price and speciality coffee. Considering quantity, presentation and taste is really not worth the 6,40€ Is not about being expensive or cheap, is about paying what is fair.

Cute little shop. Quick service, nice staff, good food. The plain ensaimada was good for what it is (I'm not a huge fan of sweet bread). When I went (around 1:00pm), they were nearly sold out of all their fresh baked items. And in the few minutes I was there 4 other patrons visited the shop. A popular spot with the locals! This is a really good local bakery in Palma centre. I tried their almond pastry. It had perfect dough (crunchy outside and soft inside) and wasn’t too sweet (though a bit heavy as almond fillings naturally are). Great with a coffee. Prices are a little on the expensive side but still worth a try if you’re in the area.
Alperen T — Google review
Absolutely magical flavor – I had a pistachio cream–filled cube made from croissant dough (not sure what it’s called, but it was unforgettable). You can see straight into the kitchen, where fresh croissants are being made non-stop. You might expect an older, traditional bakery team, but it’s actually a group of young women running the place – and you can tell they’re doing it with real heart. Bonus points for the cappuccino: served the traditional Italian way, without the unnecessary cocoa powder the Spanish often add.

7 euros for a piece of bread. Maybe there is a magical superpower in the dough?! Sad to see the prices go up so much whilst the salary’s in Mallorca are still lower than EU average and even below the Spain average.

The perfect place for brunch, lots of delicious options! We had the yogurt bowl and the scrambled eggs and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Great friendly service and a nicely decorated restaurant. I definitely recommend having the larger bowl which is €10 as I wished I had done. You pay before you receive your food which is great as you don’t have to wait around after you have finished :)

Very nice place with a good pastry bakery. Had some nice cakes. Staff is friendly. The juices are also very good. Prices are fair given the quantity and quality.

Nestled in one of Palmas busy squares where many cafes, shops and restaurants are available. Let's not forget the street markets. However, this little cafe is in a perfect location - on the corner of Placa Major. We visited this cafe for breakfast and we were delighted. The food was amazing - we got a lovely salmon bagel with avacado and cream cheese. It was so fresh and flavoursome. They served a lovely and strong iced coffee with a freshly squeezed orange juice. It is very reasonably priced and great selection on their menus. Service and staff were amazing. Overall, great exprience and would definitely recommend. Pros: - excellent food and service - beautiful decor - AC inside and outdoor seating - seems to be wheelchair accessible - family friendly Cons: - cannot fault this place at all. Excellent work team and thank you for having us. We will be back for sure. Thank you for making our holiday extra special.

Cute Café and a very nice Lady running this place. I tried the açaí bowl, which was ok… would have appreciated homemade granola! Latte art was beautiful on the Flat white and it tasted good as well. I enjoyed the very crispy and flaky croissant in the afternoon and the lemon tartlet was not too sweet but pastry could have been crispier and the merengue had a funny texture.

What a lovely place! Good coffee (I tried americano), but the matcha roll... It was heavenly experience, matcha + white chocolate + raspberries. The decor was cute, very instagrammable. The staff was nice, explained what the specific cake/dessert/ contains. Didn't try savory things, but it looked amazing.

Rivareno Gelateria is an Italian ice cream shop situated in the La Lonja district, close to the waterfront and across from Sa Llotja. The gelato is freshly made on-site daily, with an open laboratory for viewing. They offer a unique experience of having melted chocolate drizzled over your ice cream from a special tap. You can enjoy your treat on the premises while sitting on stools or take it to go.
The best pistaccio ice cream I have ever had. Super authentic flavour. The place is busy, we went there a couple of times, but the service was always fast and efficient.

Tried Rivereno ice cream in Palma downtown — really good quality. I had pistachio and almond, both were very tasty and creamy. Also tried lemon (nice but a bit sour), and the kids enjoyed the watermelon. Passion fruit was fresh
Wail L — Google review
I usually avoid overly popular spots, but this ice cream experience was truly delightful. The milk-based flavors are extraordinary, especially for those who like it a bit sweeter. The fruit flavors taste so natural that it feels like eating real fruit. Service is quick, and what I loved most is that if you can’t decide between flavors, they offer half scoops so you can try both. Highly recommended!
Emre Ö — Google review
Great vegan ice cream!! Not just sorbet, they also have pistachio, hazelnut & vegan chocolate as well as lots of fruit flavours. Everything clearly labelled & you can have 2 flavours in a small cone/tub (for €4.50). Would definitely recommend!

Service and ambience: Gigi was out server and she was great , it was busy but they are quite quick. Food: The gelato was sublime I tried the pistachio, cheesecake , Rafaelo & the bonoffi pie flavors. All were great I got a cone with pistachio & cheesecake make sure to get the chocolate inside the cone.

This is very good ice cream shop at Palma centre. I tried their tiramisu and fig flavours, and both were perfect. The textures were creamy and the flavors are rich. This is what real ice cream should taste like. Highly recommended…
Alperen T — Google review
The ice cream is creamy and comes in a wide variety of flavors, which is very appealing at first. However, it is extremely sweet—so sweet that the natural taste of the flavors gets lost

Rivareno Gelato in Mallorca is pure happiness. The flavors are rich and authentic, the texture silky smooth, and every spoonful feels like a little celebration. Hands down best ice cream we’ve had in the island - and the best Pistachio ice cream we’ve ever had! - so flavorful and rich. Yes, the prices are on the high side, but when you taste it you know why you pay more. Tip: get the sea salt on top of the pistachio.
Matt B — Google review
Today, my boyfriend bought a gelato in this store first. The staff there had a very bad expression and were not enthusiastic at all. After he bought it, I wanted to try the pistachio-flavored one. We said it five times before the female clerk gave me a spoonful to taste. The second time I bought three balls, I changed the shop assistant, but he still had a very bad look on his face. When he was making ice cream for me, he didn't press it tightly and it was very loose. When I was filling the first ball, I wondered if it could be filled steadily. When I was about to pay, two balls dropped directly and then I hit two more balls and still had to pay. She paid 14.5 euros for the pos machine. My boyfriend and I both thought that the lemon flavor was extremely sour and not as good as the one next door. Most importantly, my mood was very bad. I took a couple of bites and then gave mine to my partner. He said that the pistachios and tiramisu were just so-so Very bad store staff and experience. None of you should come. You will be very unlucky after coming.

Caro y Malo. Yesterday we tried it for the first time, 11 euros for one small (one scoop) and a medium cup (2 scoops). I wanted a small cup and the waitress insisted I should rather have a bigger one, my partner gave up and took the “normal” one, finally after asking 3 times, they went to look for the small cups, which were not even exposed. Prices are not exposed. When we are about to pay, I see they are charging us 29,9 euros, so I tell them straight they can keep the ice-cream if that’s the price. The waitress finally double checks and charges us 11,00 euros. Terrible experience. There is nothing artisanal or “deluxe” about this icecream, taste is very industrial and flavored. Never going back.

Visitors can enjoy these treats in the charming interior courtyard with orange trees or grab them to go. The bakery's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make for a pleasant experience.
Wonderful food and terrace in the back. Try the almond slush drink and the spinach pouch, they are delicious.

We loved it here! The servers were very nice and patient when trying to decide what to choose. The “Coca de Patata” was really good, we got the normal but I would recommend the Nutella filled, the Almond Cake was extremely good, I would go back just for it. The rest of the food was very good also and to finish off, it wasn’t expensive for all the food we got, we paid 17€. We sat outside, very lovely and chill.

If you want to experience the local pastries and amazing coffee you have to go to this place. The Coca patata with Nutella was amazing and the gato almond cake was a must. Staff was very friendly specially because it was raining and they made sure we could get a table because of people at the end of the line were trying to sit when we were waiting for our coffee. You won’t be disappointed

Very fluffy coca de patata (a Valldemossa specialty; €1.60), and an incredibly moist carrot cake (€3) + a good selection of drinks, other patries, and sandwiches. A solid pick. The place gets busy with tourists and for good reason, as there is a very large and lovely garden sitting area out back

We visited 4 times during our stay in Mallorca. Homemade granizado de almendra (almond horchata), huge chunks of almonds in it, so good on a hot day !! Life changing ensaimada de crema quemada- pretty much creme brûlée in a soft pastry. Great coca de verdura (thin veggie pizza), Jampn Serrano baguette, and decent coffee, although I preferred the granizado. Fresh pressed orange juice. Everything is fresh and made in house. Great outside terrace to sit on. Highly recommend !!

One of the best gelato Ive ever had in my life. I am Italian and I know gelato very well: the gelato in Gelateria Colonial is one of the best I’ve ever had - there is always a huge queue but please don’t be discouraged by the wait because it is totally worth the wait. The gelatos are huge and the quality is suuuper!! 😍😍 It is not a cheap gelato: a cone + 2 balls of ice cream are 4€50 but the quality is super good and the size of the ice cream is big which totally makes the price acceptable. You will be happy about it. Ill come back to take another ice cream even tomorrow for my fourth one 😍 Last but not least: the service is GREAT - the girls are so sweet and always ready for advices if you are not sure about what to take. ❤️
Valentina G — Google review
The best gelato I’ve tasted anywhere: creamy, rich in flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet or filling, and always fresh. Strawberry and “Colonial” have to be my favorite flavors, but it’s hard to pick favorites when every flavor is worth trying. Gluten free cones are available too, and they are delicious with any flavor.
Lee S — Google review
We have been to Colonia a few times now and always always get ice cream here! Amazing range of flavours, lovely staff. We had a recent six day stay and had an ice cream cone from the take away here every single day! Chokissimo is probably our número uno! Special mention to the cherry too though, absolutely gorgeous

Nancy M — Google review
Presentation great, however food (crepes) were too sweet, pina colada - not good, virgin mojito was okay.
Mantas Š — Google review
When we arrived, the café was full, usually a good sign, but no staff were in sight. After sitting for a while, a waiter appeared and told us (in broken English) that we should have asked before taking a seat. This was confusing, as there had been no one to ask. He reluctantly let us stay and came back to take our order. When my wife asked for a menu, he pointed to a napkin holder with several small QR codes. None led directly to a menu; instead, they opened hotel websites where the menu might possibly be hidden. Even if we misunderstood the process, expecting guests to guess the right QR code without any “Menu” label feels unreasonable. We decided not to order and left for another café, where we were warmly welcomed and served with a smile.

Good breakfast place! There’s a small outdoor terrace. Service was very friendly, attentive and fast. Food quality was good and portions are big! Didn’t need much food for the rest of the day. Good choice of different breakfasts.
Daniela V — Google review
delicious pastries and cakes at a good price, nice staff, relaxed flair, coffee is okay. we stayed at Biggi’s café for having some sweet stuff. the Spanish staff automatically speaks German with you, but the waitresses can speak English as well. the slim, tall waitress is very friendly, the smaller one could be friendlier and smile a bit more at the customers. location & atmosphere - about 50 metres from the beach of Cala Millor, in a calm street; - although all seats were occupied, when we were there, the surrounding was calm, and we could enjoy some minutes of tranquillity and relaxing. quality f&b we ordered a cheese-mandarines-cake, which contained just 2 slices of mandarines :-(, but was incredibly delish! I’ve never had any better. the espresso was okay, but we have drunk better ones. I guess, with a little more beans and pressure while water rinses through, the espresso could be great and its taste could just be fuller and the crema on top would be better. staff one of the waitresses (the smaller one) brought us a cake, we didn’t want, because we had mixed them up during ordering. she sort of acted pis*ed, because we said that we wanted a piece of a different cake, if possible. no smile, an upset face, not friendly. recommendation one star minus because of - the waiting time for paying the bill (but there were really many other guests); - the smaller waitress, who should work on her attitude towards customer service; - only two little pieces of mandarines in the cheese-mandarine-cake. 4 stars and recommendation, if you love great cakes and a nice coffeeshop a little away from the tourist crowds. EXTRAS not only cakes but also breakfast, lunch, snacks, ice cream and a very economically-priced brunch buffet on Sundays. - See menu and prices attached. Book a table for Sunday brunch buffet.

Just had a fantastic breakfast here. This is a bakery as well as a cafe and so loads of the breads are fresh. I ordered the small breakfast - 3 different breads and various delicious spreads. The missus order the "fitness" breakfast which is the same plus scrambled eggs and tomatoes plus turkey. We couldn't rest everything so the staff have gave us a bag to take 2 of the bread rolls back and some Nutella. The coffee is very good. And the fresh orange is spot on. Hope we get to go back. The staff are lovely and the huge owner (Biggly?) is cool and friendly. Menus are in Spanish and German so don't be afraid to ask for an English version of you need. Highly recommend this cafe.

Can Joan de s'Aigo: where you come for a pastry and accidentally time-travel to a slower, better version of life. The ensaimada practically floats off the plate, the gato hits you like a warm hug from your grandmother, and the almond sorbet? Cold, earthy, ethereal...That thing could settle international disputes. Old-school charm, sleepy atmosphere, and just enough sugar to make you briefly consider living here forever.

Discovered by chance, stumbled upon the Cervecería Santuario Santa Ponsa and decided to try their all-day English breakfast. The affordable price of just three euros includes two strips of back bacon, eggs (fried or scrambled), tomato, beans, and toast with butter. This quaint establishment offers a stunning balcony overlooking the beach where one can enjoy a morning coffee. Last night's tapas experience was delightful with a variety of dishes that were all enjoyable.
I've had two really bad experiences in this restaurant which is such a shame considering the restaurant has a prime spot right on the beach front in Santa Ponça. The ambience is very good, the restaurant is very tidy and the views are incredible. The downside... when you arrive there is no one there to meet and greet you so they don't know you have arrived. On both occasions we were left waiting for a very long time to be sat and then another very long wait for drinks order to be taken. The drinks were very nice which again adds to the disappointment when you consider the opportunity they seem to have miss. On the second occasion we got up and left after waiting about 20 mins and not being spoke to by anyone. Sad to say, we will not be back and I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless the service changes.

Called in today against my better judgment based on past reviews . We should have stayed away with our friends . Raw uncooked food on half the orders. Over charged and for food that was sent back and food added to the bill that was never ordered taking the bill to €300 . There was 4 beef burgers sent back as they where raw and not cooked fully . Sorry about the poor lighting on the picture but you can see the raw burger . They had the neck to send two of them back to the table cut in half and recooked . I have never had raw food reserved to me . It's a pity such a wonderful venue serves food so bad . Next time follow the past reviews and keep away from this place .

Please do not go here. Waited 50 minutes for a cheese and bacon baguette, asked for the bill to leave as I had waited 50 minutes when I asked for the bill they told me it would be 1 minute , was still an extra 10, 17€ for the worst “baguette” I’ve ever seen in my life. Not to be picky but they didn’t even give me a baguette I got a ciabatta with one slice of cheddar and a slice of bacon, it was borderline cold and looked like it had been microwaved, waited so long every other food place was closed , night absolutely ruined as I was starving, have never received such poor service, as someone who works in a bar/restaurant I have never been so shocked to receive such poor service from such a nice looking restaurant. Waiter took so long to come take our order I genuinely thought I had to order at the bar then was shooed away. The drinks also took 15 minutes to come out and considering it was 2 cans of juice that is pathetic. Please do not go here and if you are like me reading the reviews after you’ve already been, I am sorry you had to experience this as well. never written a bad review in my life but I was so gobsmacked I actually needed to let people know

This was one of our favorite places on our vacation, but today the waitress charged €12 for two large beers. I confirmed the price again and he said that a large beer costs €6. (And we didn't get a receipt...) Accident or not but I will never return to this place! If you go, you should check the price before ordering!!! Zero stars!

Looked like a nice place but awful service. Less than 25% full, waited for about 20minutes for waitress to take our drinks order, was like she was purposely ignoring us. Got up and left and went elsewhere. Really happy we did as small cocktail bar two doors down had nicer views (elevated view point) and very welcoming staff with beautiful moijtos
Keith M — Google review
Food was nice but a little on the expensive side. I got the Burger and chips, waiter asked me what sauce with the burger (me thinking this was included but there was a €5 charge for a miniscule portion of pepper sauce). Not too fond of the use of that upselling strategy. Views are amazing, overlooking the beach. Service is decent. Cesar Salad and Burgers are nice.

**Review for the Beach Restaurant in Santa Ponsa** I am absolutely disappointed with my visit to this beach restaurant. After finally getting a table, it took forever for someone to come and take our order. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. After what felt like an eternity, our food finally arrived, only to be a huge letdown. The portions were ridiculously small, the food was cold, and the prices were unreasonably high for what we got. Overall, a very frustrating and unsatisfying experience. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Justus W — Google review
Stopped here for lunch, menu seemed good and the view over the bay is amazing. The food was fine. Nothing special just ok. But the service was AWFUL. We both ordered a chicken burger, took over an hour for it to come. Our waitress looked like she'd rather be anywhere else but there. Not pleasant. And when I went to pay, the woman behind the counter actually visibly rolled her eyes and walked away. After the other woman took my payment, she also just rudely walked away without so much as Thank you or Goodbye. Will absolutely never be back.

Great little place with freshly made Bocadillos and excellent salads - reasonably priced and made to order. Tip: the salad with feta and tuna has a special dressing made with some of their frozen yogurt - it’s the chefs favorite. Friendly owner. Be sure to get a Granizado de almendra con cafe (fresh almond milk cream with espresso) - if you’ve never had this, you’ve got to try!

We were served by genuinely the nicest person we met the whole week on Majorca. I could imagine you get sick of this job, but this guy was the friendliest person we met on our entire trip. Having trouble deciding what to order? Don’t worry: this dude will sort you out with multiple little taster spoons of all the different flavours of toppings so you can come to an informed decision. Still just order the most boring thing on the menu? Don’t worry: this dude will make you feel like you made the right choice and that you’re a legend for going with your instinct. What a breath of fresh air. Thank you fro-jo guy: you rock! And Majorca is so much richer for your presence.

We came in during the afternoon of the 4th October, and had a very nice stop. Good coffee for my taste (americano), good quality 0% beer, large slice of carrot cake which was lovely, yoghurt milkshake, and some mint ice cream. SH — Google review
Delicious, fresh, simple, inspired Simple place apparently following in hallowed Italian family tradition of setting up ice cream shops in tourist locations. Food menu is very straightforward...delicious fresh crusty baguettes with great fillings, fresh salad, meats etc, or split open and presented as a simple bread pizza. Local beer on tap and a wide variety of cocktails, freshly squeezed juices, mock tails and shakes. Service is friendly but not exactly speedy as I feel the kitchen has limited capacity, so it's worth tucking in as soon as your dish is ready (not very English but it's better to enjoy your meal at its best. ) However the desserts are divine, combining freshly cooked crepes or waffles with their delicious home made ice cream, and fresh fruits. Waffles are the lightest I have tasted ever and personally are perfect with the tangy cherries in sauce matched with the creamy vanilla ice cream. Each waffle dessert is easily enough for 2 to share, but they are so nice you'll wish for an entire one to yourself. It's easy to see that they are trying to appeal to British and German tourists and I think they do this really well. Breakfast is also available from 9-12 apparently as a German or English option. The menus as they are laden with photos seem to bring to mind (to me) of places in the U.K. where they buy in pre-prepared food and simply take it out of the freezer and pop the lid off before plating it. This is most definitely not the case here. Though the served dishes are presented at least as attractively as in the menu photo! Prices are pretty reasonable all round with the average baguette ( hot or cold) around €4.30 and the deserts slightly more. Drink prices reasonable too. We've hit this place 2 days in a row and have ordered different dishes each time and have been delighted on both occasions. I think we'll be back again....and again... Unlike the places nearby the music here is very chilled and low key, large umbrellas protect the entire party from the sun during the day. Toilets, interior and outside are all spotlessly clean.
Mark A — Google review
70% satisfaction. Coffee was good. Crepes = not worth the money, I've got 3 halves of 2 smaller pancakes ... what happened with the fourth one? 😁 Waffles were enough for kids 2 pcs served with ice cream 👍 "helado" ice coffee was tasty.

Ca'n Joan de s'Aigo is a traditional cafe and ice cream parlor located in Palma's old town, dating back to 1700. The cafe features original tiling, dark wood decor, vintage clocks, and lighting. It offers excellent coffee, traditional Mallorcan pastries like ensaimadas, and thick hot chocolate for dunking the pastry.
Really nice location with many options for both savoury and sweet pastries, drinks and icecream. Great empanadas and ensaimada, we also had horchata and it was amazing. Friendly service and fair price.

(Deducted starts for rude/chauvinistic waiter) This coffee shop is a nice place to get a taste of the local cuisine. It’s super affordable too, which makes it really popular. Having said that, I’m truly appalled at the treatment I received from the server. He made some uncalled for and completely out of place comments about my weight and about the food I was ordering. It truly ruined the moment for me, and I still feel let down by the sort of waiters they are hiring to serve customers.
Lucia B — Google review
We were tipped off by my daughter about this hidden gem, and it's easy to see why people line up to get in during busy times! We visited during a quiet moment and were able to soak in the charming, vintage interior... this place is like stepping back in time. The ice cream was incredibly fresh, and the prices are unbeatable! we got 2 beers, 2 ice creams, a chocolate drink, and an apple dessert all for just €21! Sure, the crockery and glasses might be a bit chipped, but when you’re in a café that’s apparently 300 years old, it just adds to the character, right? Skip the obvious gelato spots and make the 15-minute walk from Palma Cathedral. Trusttttt me, you won’t regret it!

My accommodation in Palma is nearby. On my way heading over to a local cafe, I got past by this place and saw a queue outside. Did some research and decided to go forward with signature Majorca bakery on the first day of my trip. Not disappointed at all! Ensaimada and Cuarto both had very nice texture to them - Ensaimada is on the oily side, but super delicate sweetness with layered soft pastry texture. Would recommend to anyone who visits Majorca. ————— Went back for a second visit (take away this time) - tried another 5 bakeries. My favourite is Custard Ensaimada.

Panaderia S'Estació is a charming bakery in the heart of Palma that offers a unique and cozy atmosphere. They are thieves!!! This is the worst place in the world! The two of us were in this place 7 days ago. We ordered two pastries and coffee and the bill was around 7 euros. My husband gave them (to girl who works there) 50 euros, and she gave him back 23, instrad of 43! He immediately counted and complained, and she said that she didn't have 20 euros at the moment and that she would bring it to him. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes and she didn't come. After that, we came to her to ask for our money, but she pretended that she didn't know what we were talking about. All the workers got together and asked us why were we complaining about it after half an hour, even though we complaned to the seller right away! that saleswoman pretended she didn't know English, and when we turned to leave she was laughing at us, behind our backs, along with the other workers. We have never experienced such a thing in all our lives, that someone robs us in front of our eyes and then laughs at us. The impression is that the girls who work there do so in agreement with each other.

Well.. 27 years ago I first came to see Julio as a giddy 10 year old on a family holiday, then again 23 years ago.. both times were amazing.. Today we are back, approaching the end of our holiday, and it wouldn't be right if we didn't go and see Julio. He did not disappoint! Still fantastic and still a legend. Crepe (Nutella topper with icing sugar).. delicious 😋 I hope that when I come back hopefully next year I can enjoy another. Definitely worth the mile walk there and mile walk back.. Thank you Julio!!

Super delicious. The guy making the crepes was so funny and nice. They have a lot of options to choose from. From the classic Nutella to Kinder Bueno. You can have ice cream, whipped cream, fruits or just everything together if you want to. And the price you pay is absolutely fine. I can only recommend this place for a little sweet late night snack. You may have to wait a bit since it’s quite popular, but every minute is 100% worth it.

Little nice and clean place with superb crepes. It has that summer vacation vibe, good prices and smiling owner. Totally recommended

I was here when I was 10 years old. The pancakes are awesome as I remember from the past. Today my 7 years old son had the same one from the same “pancake man”. Amazing ❤️
