When I entered the shop, I wasn’t really sure if it would be good. I don’t know the name of the cookies I bought but they were all excellent. The taste of the almonds was very strong. I finished all in a few days. They were as tasty as it was on the first day, even on day 3

Definitely make it a stop if you are driving nearby. This bakery serves some amazing pastries and has good coffee. If you snatch a seat outside you can enjoy dome spectacular views. Its open from morning hours (we stopped by at 9am on a work day).

Was absolutely gobsmacered when I heard the price of everything. SO CHEAP and absolutely amazing quality and taste. Got 2 massive ice-creams one of the biggest ice-creams I’ve ever eaten and a pastry for only €5.80 the best ice cream I’ve had in grandCanaria and best olive by a mile worth coming up to the mountains here. And the views were absolutely amazing. Made are trio amazing.

Very delicious. We take cortado coffee and 2 cakes for 5€ so prices are very good and this cake with budino and oranges (on the top).. oh wow.. so delicious ❤️

Amazing pastries and desserts, their products are more affordable than in supermarkets so it's worth a visit. Their coco "ball" with chocolate was the best!!

They offer delicious gelato and a wide variety of cakes. However, it's very crowded, and you often have to wait to order, even for takeout. They also offer some sugar-free ice cream in various flavours.

Food tastes good but definitely over priced. Had an ice cream and it was very nice. Sat outside and the atmosphere was great. However barely any seats in the time I went. You'll need to wait to sit. The service wasn't great but the place was very busy. I would call it a standard service.

Probably one of the best places in Las Palmas. Excellent quality products and everything is selfmade. Prices are not high for this quality stuff. Cake piece was 3,3€. Visited this place almost every day. On weekends and days the place is full of people and you need to wait for service, but its worth it.

The ice cream itself is great with lots of different flavours and options, you get a lot for what you pay for and the waiters are nice. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite long for our Order and they got one of our Cups wrong. Overall the quality and Taste of the ice cream itself managed to convince us though and we definently recommend This Place!

Poor service. Arrogant and rude female server with little patience and a huge attitude. In the end got the order wrong! If these guys were to write a book on how to make a simple business so difficult, these guys would win hands down. Over priced given what they are which could have been forgiven had service been on point. I would love to see them operate when it’s busier. It is not like me not to leave a tip but I will leave 2 here. For the staff, adjust your attitude! For anyone thinking of spending your Euros in this establishment, spend them somewhere else. Not even worth the 1 star. Do they do negative star ratings? This place certainly qualifies.

It’s a great place with good atmosphere, the decoration is nice for an evening quick dessert or coffee. Perfect to go on dates or with friends. The food and drinks are good too however sometimes they miss the spot - for example the brownie or cookie ice creams are pulled directly from freezer not allowing the texture to form. Other than that, if you’re in the area I would definitely recommend it, it’s not that expensive either.

Absolutely excellent choice of ice creams, sorbets and pastries. Staff are very friendly and the location is just perfect. 5yrs since our first visit it's been consistently excellent. This trip we did take out most days but also ate in for about 2h one day. We had lemon sorbet, pistachio ice cream, a brioche ice cream sandwich (this is the future!), And a lemon tart (pictured). Prices were really great too. We'd highly recommend. Edit:2023 selection of flavours has been updated but the favourites are still there. Especially nice was the mokolate which was delicious and much needed, but beware it's quite heavy so you fill up.

Is a good place, food is decent and service was very good, also if you compare this one with others in same location in front of the sea the prices here are good.

Perfecto!! Fantastic gluten free Italian flatbreads and waffles plus amazing vegan ice cream and not expensive! My other half had normal flatbreads and ice cream sundae, both delicious, also the service is lovely - highly recommended!

Very average ice cream and service. We paid nearly €10 for a hazelnut and chocolate bowl and they didn’t provide everything from their menu description - we had to ask them to correct it.

Great ice-cream, very nice view. We also found our Canarian favorite Barraquito on the menu. Unfortunately it was a bit on the strong side, meaning for our taste too much liquor 43. in total still completely worth 5 stars to visit

Awesome! Not just the rip off joint you would expect at the Promenade. Crepes have the Extra Portion of ham and cheese all the way to the end of the crepe. Juices well made with good fruit, icecream home made.. Lovely!

If you order crepe/waffle/pancake nutella, be ready for a cheap chocolate that hasn’t anything to do with nutella

Took a stroll across the boulevard and wanted to get some cappuccino. The cappuccino was served in small Lavazza cups. The cappuccino was strong but tasty. I would have liked to have it served in bigger cups with more water. I don't take sugar and asked for sweeteners which luckily they had. Wifi is available and is of moderate speed. I was able to have a video call. The service is kind and fast. The only issue I had was the lack of a smoking free zone. Each table has an ashtray. They have a wide assortment of drinks including cocktails. There's an icecream parlor and they have all sort of pastries and sandwiches. The price is ok considering the location but of course it's a bit more expensive then what you would usually pay for the same . Summarized: +Friendly and fast service + Good coffee but small in size + Beautiful seaview - no smoking free area - no toilet with changing station for babies

Cafe with seating which has a nice sea view. There is free WiFi which you need to login too. The toastie was low quality and not great. The coffee is Lavazza so not great either. The menu is mainly desserts with lack of fresh healthy options.

Love this place. Been coming for years but for the first time in five years, with our two children aged 1 and 4. The service is fast, deserts lovely and such a lovely atmosphere situated right on the front facing the sea! We always opt for icecream sundaes and iced coffee. Never disappoints. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Definitely order the Hawaii sundae; it was delicious. The pistachio ice cream was out of this world!

We stopped by for some cocktails before checking any reviews. Huge mistake. We ordered two fizzy lemon gins. Basically the lemon juice was artificial and the gin non existent. My daughters ordered two cookie cream drinks, but you could taste they just dissolved some powder in milk and failed to even stir well. Maybe it was just our bad luck, but we immediately left after ordering — told the waiter the drinks were horrible which he ignored with a smile. There are much better places nearby to get a cocktail for the same price

We had a nice coffee break here, lovely view of the beach. Great spot for enjoying the sunset and people-watching. Coffee is ok, nothing spectacular. Friendly staff. One toilet for customers at the rear of the cafe. Free wifi for 30 minutes, just request staff for access and they will give you a card with the login and password.

The ice cream was delicious. The flavours we tried were better than Heladeria Peña la Vieja, the staff were also lovely. One thing to note is that they overfill the tubs so don't be tempted to go for the large unless you're wanting 3 large scoops.

Good for a crepe with ice cream. Nutella crepe 4,30€ and add 2€ for a ball of ice cream. However, the place is always crowded and a bit hot, and not super clean. The ice creams are a hit or miss in my opinion, some of the flavors are too sweet. The lemon one is sweeter than it's sour, for example.

Lately I’ve noticed wait staff being unobservant, waited over 1 hour with no service and eventually we had to go inside ourselves to order. Took them 40 minutes to bring out 2 coffees and a crepe which was ice cold. Coffee is delicious though. We come daily. Ben is the best waiter, 0 issues when he’s there & is the only reason I have a 3 star over a 1!

Nice cute little coffee shop with delicious ice cream, cakes, coffee, milkshakes, etc. I can only speak for the ice cream as that's the only one i tried. It was really delicious i had the "stratiatella" one and wasn't disappointed. Even though they don't have too many options they have the basics. Price was really cheap especially for the quantity you get. (One ball was €2.45 and it was satisfying both in flavor and quantity). Would really love to try the ice cream and a few cakes. Will keep it in mind for my next visit for sure! 🥰😋

I took two pieces of cake. Both of them were so stale. They were made a week ago. It was a surprise birthday at my boyfriend. We throw them at the trash bin. I was so sad 😞

After hunting for somewhere to grab a drink and a slice of cake we found this cafe. Cakes looked amazing, however they were dry on the outside yet amazing In the inside. If they had been covered whilst on display they would have been perfect.

I went there because I was craving for an escape from my hotel and a fresh breakfast (good coffee seems hard to get in las palomas) I liked: +service is good! Smiling and professional ladies +soy milk available for cappuccino + the choice of cakes seems endless + price is ok:4,10€ for a croissant +cappuccino (soy milk) What I regret: The surrounding of Yumbo supermarket/ the croissant was dry

Despite some negative reviews on quality this is my go-to in Gran Canaria for cakes. Add some whipped cream (extra 50c) for some decadence. There are many varieties as you can see from the images and they are reasonably priced (€4.40). I cannot tell you about the coffee as I don’t partake. Can be warm inside on the top of the is quirky dated Cita mall (from 70s) though worth the tour imo. Some special restaurants and shops here. Thanks

When I first walked in, I was greeted by a lovely man who explained what each cake was. All the cakes looked fresh and delightful. I sat inside in the cool. The chilled ambience of the café added to the experience. The lovely man bought me my order of apple cake and a tropical smoothie to my table. The apple cake was delicious. It was fresh and moist. The smoothie was tasty, too. All cakes are made on site. I would definitely recommend coming here to try the cake.

The cakes were okay, they all had a hard biscuit on the bottom. Cappuccino was also a bit watery and weird area to get to the coffee place.

Went there today as a recommendation from my friend. First it was a little bit difficult to find as I went into the entry of the shopping center. But straight through the center and then the stairs upwards I saw the label. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I ordered one piece of apple pie with ice cream. The taste was amazing. If you're a cake and coffee enthusiast, get there and enjoy.

Café Wien was recommended to us and did not disappoint. It’s not easy to find but is worth the trip and the food and drinks are delicious. There’s a Germanic them and rhubarb cake is excellent as is the crumble. Strudel looked good too.

A very bright cafe where the outside seating area has a roof of canvas to shade you from direct sunlight but you can still feel the heat. Inside is airy with lots of space between the tables. "Afternoon Tea " has a look and feel of decadence about it as it is served in an all-matching tea service and the cakes taste luxurious ! Everthing is served to you with a smile from all the staff. Although this establishment is above average price, it is well worth a visit

Waffle was good, but just watch out for the people trying to sell you stuff. I understand it is right by the water and is fairly touristy, but I found it slightly annoying. If you don't mind that kind of stuff then go for it, because the waffles were actually pretty good

Best ice cream going. We got beer and ice cream here on a few days. The waffles are also fab. Great choices for what to have with them. Personally recommend the Kinder Surprise flavour ice cream 💯 pictured with waffle!

Opened, gave us a menu and then went to order and they said they are not serving food? Waited until they were ready and then food came cold?? Food then reheated and was terrible. Photo was of the egg was it opened up. No service and rude attitude to go along side it.

There is always a place that you encounter while on holidays that becomes a favourite place to go. Ciao Ciao is an outdoor cocktail bar and live music venue in the centre of Playa del ingles. Also has an ice cream parlour. we didn't try the ice cream, but it looked to be very popular. Cocktail menu is very reasonably priced and there is a wide selection to choose from. However what really makes this place is the staff. From the first night we visited, when they thoughtfully found us a table at the back without being asked ( away from the loud music)....the staff have been a reason to keep going back. Especially the talented Enrique who appears to be able to balance all manner of items on his head and kept the crowd amused. Great family entertainment music and dancing and general great vibe all round. Open til 1 am.

If you like Italian traditional ice cream then this is the place for you. Unfortunately it’s a bit far away from the normal tourist spots but nevertheless worth the visit.

5 stars is the right rating here. Very friendly service and great ice cream. And the prices are more than fair. Cheaper than some industrial made ice cream at a shop. After two years, we're here again and the quality is still the same. Even for a family with a lot of kids it's affordable. You get 2 scoops for 2 Euro. Dark chocolate is especially recommended.

Ice cream was brilliant and such good value. It's on the first floor of the shopping centre, worth going to if you like authentic ice cream/ gelato. The dark chocolate was 👍

Actually bad coffee - sorry to say. We did choose this place last reading on previous reviews due to time etc. The person behind the bar poured an espresso shot and frothed it on the milk frother (?).

One of the best places to have coffee in terms of atmosphere. Located inside a very nice park where kids can play and you can have a beautiful scenery. Place not expensive in terms of coffee. The weather was amazing when I went, although windy. However las palmas always colder than the south. Cafe has an ok selection. Its more about the lovely scenery and the atmosphere rather than the food and coffee.

Disappointing. Coffee weak and served in polystyrene cups. Ordered vegetal sandwich, and was served tuna one. Had to go back in kiosk and get them to change it. Water and bottled vino were fine. Only menus on side of kiosk, none to browse. Not all items were priced so it was pot luck what you were going to pay. Not recommended

The red velvet wasn't good, too sweet and sugar peaces...

Lot's of great flavours and the cone tastes amazing!!! Very creamy and 2 scoops+cone for €3.30 is not bad! Would go at a time when it's less busy as there is always a queue.... Tried Stracciatella which was very average- not enough choc bits but the coconut&pistachio was AMAZING!!!!

Great flavours, price, and portion. Queue isn't bad at all, but you'll need to avoid the obvious times. Service brusque. We have been charged 50c without being told to use a credit card? or no explanation of how it was added, so minus one star.

Hidden gem. If you don't know it, you risk to pass by without noticing, as you can see on the photo. Stunning home made fresh ice cream. Not the mass tourism compromises of Nestlé or Unile but the real thing. Ice cream the way it's meant to be! Made my day even more shiny!

Small ice cream shop in Las Canteras beach in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Try their gofio ice cream. It's local to canary islands. They accept cards and cash. No seating arrangements but you have lots of sitting place in the beach area outside. Enjoy.

I arrived at 21h56 (closing time 22h00) with a 4 year old child. We were received with screams saying that they were closed (no, they were not closed and were still serving ice creams). Such a horrible experience. Maybe ice creams are good but these people have no character

Lovely little cafe (better than the one of same chain in the Yumbo). They serve amazing cakes (especially the Apple Tart) and ice cream. The coffee is also very nice and strong! The ladies that work here are very friendly and helpful. Very dangerous for the diet this place but worth it!

Excellent as you would expect from any of the Cafe de Paris cafes. We got a piece of San Rival cake, an almond biscuit dipped in chocolate, a cinnamon roll, an Americano coffee (black coffee) and a bottle of still water for around €10. Back home that would have been around €15 to €20 in almost any cafe.

we had the lunch for 2 and it was very good. we had a lot to brunch and extra Orange Juice which was also very fresh. the Red falvet cake was a little disappointing maybe we had high expectation. it was not Bad but it could be a lot better. the Cappuccino was very very good. the staff could do a little bit more for the costumers. the staff was friendly but thats all.

Very unpleasant experience. First it took 15 minutes to even get noticed. Then we finally ordered and waited one hour, watching everyone else get their food except us, realizing they had forgotten about us - which is incredible since the place is so small and has few guests at a time. In the meantime their phone kept ringing super loud like an alarm, and they just let it keep ringing. Will never go here again and recommend you find another place to eat. This place is a joke! I wanted to add, after finishing the food that eventually arrived, that despite bad atmosphere and service, the good was fenomenal. The chef knows what she is doing, even if her colleagues seem to stressed or confused to do their job properly.

I truly enjoyed my breakfast at Petit Cafe. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, the full brunch was more than enough for 2 persons. If you want to have amazing breakfast before a day trip, definitely come here!

Petit is a very accurate name, but more towards the portion sizes. The food is great but expect to get a few plates or the full brunch if you want to be full.

They didn't have half the options on their menu (not a single juice, no tortilla). The food was very average, with barely any fresh products, guacamole straight from the jar, and pre-cut tasteless mushrooms. And the worst for last: the capuccino is 95% milk, and tasted more like cheap hot chocolate. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly either.

Organic and teasty. It's very difficult to find place like this. Good service and nice design with "empty" window, great for pictures and look on the street life.

Good luck with the waiters. They're running on their own schedule. You may or may not be able to order. Then, you will be asked to buy more or leave if you're sitting outside. After that, your odds of getting your bill in a timely manner are just as high as winning the lottery. The waiters are the walking embodiment of bad service: chaotic, rude and world-class champions in ignoring customers. You should actually try the place for the sheer entertainment and humor value of how awful the service is -- a tourist trap comedy on the beach. Otherwise, the actual ice-cream is good, try the sugar-free chocolate. Well worth the money for the laughs you'd get at how bad customer service can be in such beautiful surroundings.

We've visited a number of times during our holiday. Always a warm and pleasant service with good quality helado, sandwiches and coffee.

We had a lovely brunch at Pliza 21, for a second time in a month. Will definitely go back. The staff was very welcoming and highly recomended their smoothies and their guacamole with soft cheese sandwich.

I love ice cream / gelato!! I have eaten in 6 places now in Gran Canaria and 5 times here !! Flavour amazing, family atmosphere welcoming and home made flavours. Everytime I visit I somehow buy a bigger plate. Even my buddy from Italy said it was better than his local at home. SIMPLY AMAZING THE BEST!

Good coffee and ice cream Good selection of artisanal ice cream - amarenata was my favourite. Prices 2.30 for one ball, 3 for 2 balls, 3.50 for 3 balls and 4.20 for 4 balls. Unfortunately their waffles and pastries are premade and preserved in a fridge so I would just stick to ice cream.

REAL COFFEE! (Segafredo). It’s not easy to find good coffee on this otherwise lovely beach area. Ivan, the tattooed barista knows what he is doing! Even the temperature of the milk in my cappuccino was perfect! Highly recommended for suffering coffee lovers!

Stopped off here after bus driver taking us past the stop we need but only paid €3.50 for the two of us, has a excellent coffee and had quick service. Prices of ice cream fair as you can pay €4+ in Purto Rico even more in Morgan. (Little Venice)

Nice place, but be careful almost all the food are pre cooked and frozen like the croissant etc etc. Moreover the Sicilian cannoli are terrible really far from the originals one, however, the owner understood the situation and offered us a coffee...

Me and my partner went there for some hot drinks, rainy Tuesday-afternoon, not mad busy. My partner was trying to make the order in intermediate Spanish, as many of the locals in customer service do not tend to speak any English (myself am not native English-speaker either). The woman at the till, maybe in her 30s to early 40s, was unbelievable rude to my partner, rolling her eyeballs, not the tiniest bit appreciative of the effort, basically ridiculing him. We decided just to stick with the drinks and skip spending any more money on a place that has such poor service. While sitting down I had the opportunity to observe how the said waitress was serving other (foreign) customers that came after us, the faces she made, unreal! People, Las Canteras is full of cafés, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

The best gelato we had whilst visiting the island. It's very busy, but lots of staff, quick service, and tables are clean - it doesn't cost extra to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Also, sell waffles and coffees, but we just enjoyed the gelato. It's definitely worth a visit, on the upper floor of the shopping mall, lots of choice, so a flavour for everyone!

Good ice cream and different varieties of sweets/desserts which are very good, but I must say that for the price charged for a single ice cream not really worth it. Unfortunately due to the position they know that people will pay any price. Anyhow still a good option.

Great gelato, really high quality, and the crepes are excellent too. Our favourite flavour is the polvito uruguayo, definitely worth trying. The only downside is that tables are often limited, so it can be tricky to find a spot.

at 1st: the icecream is deliciuos but the service bad. april 30th 9 p.m. after 50 times on the canarian islands (35times gran Canaria) it was our first time here (and last time too). we went in and asked how it works: sit on the table and got a card?, selfservice? or how ever?. The Woman with the glasses said with a rough voice an without staying with us: "order there!" and shows to the icecream-bar. i asked about crepe (more a thin pancake than a crepe)...also there? we wanted to eat on a table...more rough : yes, all there! the guy than there was really friendly and got a tip, with my opinion that he was friendly but the Woman with the glasses not. i got my icecream in a paper mug and my girlfriend here crepe later on the table. was not possible to eat together. there are Scan-Codes on the tables, but not every tourist have the mobilephone everytime in the pocket...its holiday... so its difficult without signs like: only selfservice...menù... and than unfriendly staff (the Woman with the glasses), which is more arrogant than helpful. stay, look to me and tell me how it works there...not like this. i asked friendly and want the same from everyone than. thx god that not everone is there like this...like the young man at cashier...friendly an normal to everyone.

This amazing video is from the soft-serve ice cream shop Mama Mia and its ice cream selection. The price was, if I remember correctly, €2.20/100g (though I might be mistaken), but the ice cream was delicious. They also have a great selection of sweet sauces that perfectly complement the ice cream. We've been there many times and will definitely go again.

Hmm, amazing vegan, gluten free and sugar free ice cream, they dont have any other vegan food though but ice cream is a food too or? Haha There are more if these ice cream bars in Gran Canaria, in Puerto Rico is 1€ more expensive the Vecindario. But I guess it is because its close to the beach. They didnt have loos there. We also had a soya milk coffee which was super tasty, only little cool for me. I like coffee to be warm at least if not hot. Parking is easy and also wasy to find this Heladeria.

The ice cream is one of the best I've ever had and also really cheap (€2,90 for a "small" portion which has 2 flavors and it's big enough). Service can be a bit chaotic and sometimes there are mix-ups with the order. I also was a bit disappointed over the pistacchio croissant and bombolone. They're supposed to have pistacchio cream filling but it just seemed/tasted like vanilla cream with some pistacchio nuts in there. But all in all I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are also really fair (and I'm assuming that's because it's further away from the tourist area and locals also come here). Come here before/after going to Mercadona ;)

We visited Helamore 3 times during our one week stay in Mogan and I'm so glad we found it. It's by the far the best cafe in the area in terms of cleanliness, variety, freshness and value for money. Most impressive was the fact the prices did not seem to be at tourist rip-off levels but were very reasonable and more what you would expect at a casual cafe. I loved how clean the place was too. We ordered two spaghettis ice cream. We payed €17,50. The service was really bad and it was very crowded in there. When we got the our ice-coupé it looked very rushed, not much ice cream and strawberry’s for that amount of money, unfinished and sprinkled with a huge amount of coconut rasp. Definitely not coming here again. The ice cream itself tasted ok.

We had an iced coffee which was excellent, but we were charged 7 Euros each! So expensive! We had made the mistake of ordering without looking at the Menu. Also, there was no written bill and no receipt given, just a strange money machine. We felt ripped off. Be very careful here. Check the menu first. Or go to one of the other places.

First time I have left a review but the service here was surprisingly bad. I did not read any reviews before going and now I wish I had. The prices were high, but that wasn't even what bothered me. The servers were rude and expected you to know how the system worked even though it is a pretty much only tourist area. They were so slow and then when I paid, they tapped their fingers in boredom on the counter during the 1 (!) minute I took to pull out the change needed to pay. Honestly it felt like these girls thought they were the guests rather than staff and everyone should cater to them. Management might want to give a lesson in customer service, somehow all the other places we have visited have been really good at service so it isn't a cultural thing, it is a staff issue. I won't be back. I can get decent ice cream elsewhere!

Please avoid, we went there as a part of our holiday in June 2017, paid €21 for ice creams waited and nothing arrived. After 30 minutes wait chased up the waitress who told us it was busy and the ice creams would arrive soon (one other table occupied at this point). After an hour still no ice creams so asked again to be told we had ordered wrong, not paid and could get new ice creams for another €16. No apologies made, no attempt to fix the issue and made to feel like we were cheating the system. Avoid at all costs.
