Dessert shop
Dulceria Nublo is a renowned bakery in Tejeda, offering a wide selection of delicious and artisanal sweets. Visitors can indulge in large ice creams with generous scoops at great prices while being served by friendly staff. The bakery also offers delightful macarons, palmeras, and local almond specialties that are perfect for enjoying on the terrace with stunning views.
Dulcería Nublo is a must-visit spot in central Tejeda for anyone with a sweet tooth! They offer a huge selection of pastries and desserts, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The almond cookies were excellent, and the coconut cookies were some of the best I’ve ever had! While I wish there were more drink options (especially hot chocolate) and the service could have been a bit friendlier, the quality of the treats more than made up for it. If you’re in Tejeda, don’t miss out on this little gem – the desserts alone are worth the visit!
Rosi P — Google review
When I entered the shop, I wasn’t really sure if it would be good. I don’t know the name of the cookies I bought but they were all excellent. The taste of the almonds was very strong. I finished all in a few days. They were as tasty as it was on the first day, even on day 3
Deniz K — Google review
Delicious local almond cake original or with chocolate flavoured. Many other sweet and delicious pastries. Friendly service speaking fluent English. Highly recommended

Definitely make it a stop if you are driving nearby. This bakery serves some amazing pastries and has good coffee. If you snatch a seat outside you can enjoy dome spectacular views. Its open from morning hours (we stopped by at 9am on a work day).
Ondřej P — Google review
Was absolutely gobsmacered when I heard the price of everything. SO CHEAP and absolutely amazing quality and taste. Got 2 massive ice-creams one of the biggest ice-creams I’ve ever eaten and a pastry for only €5.80 the best ice cream I’ve had in grandCanaria and best olive by a mile worth coming up to the mountains here. And the views were absolutely amazing. Made are trio amazing.
Sarah J — Google review
Very delicious. We take cortado coffee and 2 cakes for 5€ so prices are very good and this cake with budino and oranges (on the top).. oh wow.. so delicious ❤️
Kinga J — Google review
What a lovely place! We went for a walk and found this place by accident. Of course we bought some pastries and we were surprised that 4 huge pastries cost us only 7.2€. Everything was unique and delicious 🤤
Kristina — Google review
Amazing pastries and desserts, their products are more affordable than in supermarkets so it's worth a visit. Their coco "ball" with chocolate was the best!!

Guirlache is a renowned pasteleria located in the Triana neighborhood of Las Palmas, with a history dating back to 1973. Despite its unassuming appearance, it offers some of the best ice cream in town, including the popular chocolate nougat flavor. The shop also boasts a wide variety of delectable chocolates such as praline bonbons and takeaway-ready tartaletas at affordable prices.
The pastry was amazing and the coffee great. Lady behind the counter very friendly. Everything looked so yummy, hard to make a choice. And... they have oat milk!
Grasje G — Google review
They offer delicious gelato and a wide variety of cakes. However, it's very crowded, and you often have to wait to order, even for takeout. They also offer some sugar-free ice cream in various flavours.
Ahmad — Google review
Food tastes good but definitely over priced. Had an ice cream and it was very nice. Sat outside and the atmosphere was great. However barely any seats in the time I went. You'll need to wait to sit. The service wasn't great but the place was very busy. I would call it a standard service.
Saeed M — Google review
Probably one of the best places in Las Palmas. Excellent quality products and everything is selfmade. Prices are not high for this quality stuff. Cake piece was 3,3€. Visited this place almost every day. On weekends and days the place is full of people and you need to wait for service, but its worth it.
Weckiss — Google review
Absolutely to have a cortado + taste One of the sweet pastry. In the weekend once more reason tò go and taste the typical cream One.
G. S — Google review
Pretty good cheesecake, totally classic flavor. I didn't expect that quality from the most centralized and commercialized street here. Must go back to try the chocolate cakes per the recommendations from two local lovely ladies.

Delicious cakes and good coffee. Almost too many cakes to pick from. Can recommend the mini choco cheese cake!

Nestled by the seaside, Soul Penguin is a delightful spot that beckons dessert lovers with its charming outdoor seating. This inviting venue specializes in an array of sweet treats, including delectable crêpes, pastries, and a fantastic selection of ice creams and sorbets. The atmosphere is perfect for casual outings with friends or romantic dates, enhanced by lovely decor that sets the mood for an enjoyable evening.
Delicious ice cream and good coffee. They have gluten free ice cream, but we were in their small cafe, which is next to the bus stop in Maspalomas.
Nora S — Google review
Nice sweet menu. Milkshakes are nice, made from the ice creams, but could be colder. Variety of ice cream/cake options. Almond cake a bit dry. Service is quite slow though. But still recommend.
Emma W — Google review
Great ice cream, I really don’t understand quite some bad reviews! The portions are enormous, they justify a bit the price. Ice cream themselves were full of flavour, very creamy and simply delicious. I tried the ones with caramel popcorn and they were really good. I highly recommend stopping by
Joanna D — Google review
The ice cream itself is great with lots of different flavours and options, you get a lot for what you pay for and the waiters are nice. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite long for our Order and they got one of our Cups wrong. Overall the quality and Taste of the ice cream itself managed to convince us though and we definently recommend This Place!
Benni B — Google review
Poor service. Arrogant and rude female server with little patience and a huge attitude. In the end got the order wrong! If these guys were to write a book on how to make a simple business so difficult, these guys would win hands down. Over priced given what they are which could have been forgiven had service been on point. I would love to see them operate when it’s busier. It is not like me not to leave a tip but I will leave 2 here. For the staff, adjust your attitude! For anyone thinking of spending your Euros in this establishment, spend them somewhere else. Not even worth the 1 star. Do they do negative star ratings? This place certainly qualifies.
Martin J — Google review
It’s a great place with good atmosphere, the decoration is nice for an evening quick dessert or coffee. Perfect to go on dates or with friends. The food and drinks are good too however sometimes they miss the spot - for example the brownie or cookie ice creams are pulled directly from freezer not allowing the texture to form. Other than that, if you’re in the area I would definitely recommend it, it’s not that expensive either.
Kunal S — Google review
Absolutely excellent choice of ice creams, sorbets and pastries. Staff are very friendly and the location is just perfect. 5yrs since our first visit it's been consistently excellent. This trip we did take out most days but also ate in for about 2h one day. We had lemon sorbet, pistachio ice cream, a brioche ice cream sandwich (this is the future!), And a lemon tart (pictured). Prices were really great too. We'd highly recommend. Edit:2023 selection of flavours has been updated but the favourites are still there. Especially nice was the mokolate which was delicious and much needed, but beware it's quite heavy so you fill up.
Alistair C — Google review
Is a good place, food is decent and service was very good, also if you compare this one with others in same location in front of the sea the prices here are good.

Gelatomania is a popular ice cream shop located by the beachfront in Puerto de Mogan. The menu includes some of the best flatbreads, smoothies, waffles, and coffee in Gran Canaria. Crepes are the specialty here with many variations including the popular Extra Portion of ham and cheese. Juice quality is generally good with plenty of fruit used.
Great restaurant/coffee shop with a stunning beach view. Homemade ice creams and crepes, super tasty lunch options and everything optional vegan. Coffees typical Italian and stuff/owner very friendly and helpful. Fair prices, highly recommended!
Sven O — Google review
Good ice cream, good coffee and decent white sangria. Still looking for in house made sangria in Gran Canaria (not tap one :) )
Marius D — Google review
Perfecto!! Fantastic gluten free Italian flatbreads and waffles plus amazing vegan ice cream and not expensive! My other half had normal flatbreads and ice cream sundae, both delicious, also the service is lovely - highly recommended!
Joanna F — Google review
This establishment is an excellent choice if you're in the mood for a delightful afternoon treat—whether it's sweet crepes that tickle your taste buds or a refreshing ice-cream to savor. However, it might not be the ideal spot for a more substantial meal. The affordability of their offerings adds to the appeal, making it a wallet-friendly option. Plus, the prime location enhances the overall experience, making it worth considering for a casual and enjoyable culinary escapade.
DCL98 — Google review
Very average ice cream and service. We paid nearly €10 for a hazelnut and chocolate bowl and they didn’t provide everything from their menu description - we had to ask them to correct it.
Alasdair W — Google review
Great ice-cream, very nice view. We also found our Canarian favorite Barraquito on the menu. Unfortunately it was a bit on the strong side, meaning for our taste too much liquor 43. in total still completely worth 5 stars to visit
Patrick F — Google review
Awesome! Not just the rip off joint you would expect at the Promenade. Crepes have the Extra Portion of ham and cheese all the way to the end of the crepe. Juices well made with good fruit, icecream home made.. Lovely!

Cafe de Paris is a popular spot located on the promenade, offering a delightful experience for visitors. The cafe is known for its delicious pastries and cakes, making it a must-visit for cake enthusiasts. Despite being busy, the atmosphere is enjoyable with fantastic views of the boulevard and sea. Guests can indulge in tasty cocktails or coffee while watching the world go by.
Amazing Staff, food was delicious, lovely sea breeze. 100% recommend!
Zack — Google review
Took a stroll across the boulevard and wanted to get some cappuccino. The cappuccino was served in small Lavazza cups. The cappuccino was strong but tasty. I would have liked to have it served in bigger cups with more water. I don't take sugar and asked for sweeteners which luckily they had. Wifi is available and is of moderate speed. I was able to have a video call. The service is kind and fast. The only issue I had was the lack of a smoking free zone. Each table has an ashtray. They have a wide assortment of drinks including cocktails. There's an icecream parlor and they have all sort of pastries and sandwiches. The price is ok considering the location but of course it's a bit more expensive then what you would usually pay for the same . Summarized: +Friendly and fast service + Good coffee but small in size + Beautiful seaview - no smoking free area - no toilet with changing station for babies
B B — Google review
Cafe with seating which has a nice sea view. There is free WiFi which you need to login too. The toastie was low quality and not great. The coffee is Lavazza so not great either. The menu is mainly desserts with lack of fresh healthy options.
TS I — Google review
Love this place. Been coming for years but for the first time in five years, with our two children aged 1 and 4. The service is fast, deserts lovely and such a lovely atmosphere situated right on the front facing the sea! We always opt for icecream sundaes and iced coffee. Never disappoints. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Emma N — Google review
Definitely order the Hawaii sundae; it was delicious. The pistachio ice cream was out of this world!
Adam — Google review
We stopped by for some cocktails before checking any reviews. Huge mistake. We ordered two fizzy lemon gins. Basically the lemon juice was artificial and the gin non existent. My daughters ordered two cookie cream drinks, but you could taste they just dissolved some powder in milk and failed to even stir well. Maybe it was just our bad luck, but we immediately left after ordering — told the waiter the drinks were horrible which he ignored with a smile. There are much better places nearby to get a cocktail for the same price
Ronald S — Google review
Service good, food excellent, beautiful place to unwind late in the day. Would of been a 5 star review but waiter through the bill down on table when we got it,he was happier when I left him a 5 euro tip
Dave N — Google review
We had a nice coffee break here, lovely view of the beach. Great spot for enjoying the sunset and people-watching. Coffee is ok, nothing spectacular. Friendly staff. One toilet for customers at the rear of the cafe. Free wifi for 30 minutes, just request staff for access and they will give you a card with the login and password.

Gelizia is an artisanal Italian gelato shop with a rich history. Their website offers insights into their craft and creations, which include a tempting variety of gelato flavors, as well as delectable semifreddo cakes and cookies. While the place can get crowded and warm, it's known for its friendly service. Some patrons recommend trying the crepes with ice cream or savoring the flavorful gelato while enjoying the lovely view from this well-located establishment.
Very nice cafe by the beach side… lots of choices and delicious. Must try!
Siri — Google review
The ice cream was delicious. The flavours we tried were better than Heladeria Peña la Vieja, the staff were also lovely. One thing to note is that they overfill the tubs so don't be tempted to go for the large unless you're wanting 3 large scoops.
Jack M — Google review
Great crepe with ice cream and very fast service Also extremely cheap coffee
Tim C — Google review
Good for a crepe with ice cream. Nutella crepe 4,30€ and add 2€ for a ball of ice cream. However, the place is always crowded and a bit hot, and not super clean. The ice creams are a hit or miss in my opinion, some of the flavors are too sweet. The lemon one is sweeter than it's sour, for example.
Cecilia C — Google review
Lately I’ve noticed wait staff being unobservant, waited over 1 hour with no service and eventually we had to go inside ourselves to order. Took them 40 minutes to bring out 2 coffees and a crepe which was ice cold. Coffee is delicious though. We come daily. Ben is the best waiter, 0 issues when he’s there & is the only reason I have a 3 star over a 1!

Café De Paris is a charming spot with a friendly and efficient staff. The cakes are described as light and delicious, although some visitors noted that they were a bit dry on the outside. The café offers a designated smoking area and reasonable prices. Guests have enjoyed smoothies, fruit pints, sundaes, and chocolate cake at this lovely café. While some felt that the chocolate cake could be improved, others found it to be quite enjoyable.
It is a very nice place to enjoy a drink or something to eat for breakfast. 🙂 Not too expensive, prices are the same as everywhere around. The staff is kind and friendly.

We had an ice cream with fresh strawberries. Unfortunately the other fruit was canned, but overall the taste was good. Not too expensive and nice place to sit and catch up from a sun burn and to cool down.
Nadia — Google review
Nice cute little coffee shop with delicious ice cream, cakes, coffee, milkshakes, etc. I can only speak for the ice cream as that's the only one i tried. It was really delicious i had the "stratiatella" one and wasn't disappointed. Even though they don't have too many options they have the basics. Price was really cheap especially for the quantity you get. (One ball was €2.45 and it was satisfying both in flavor and quantity). Would really love to try the ice cream and a few cakes. Will keep it in mind for my next visit for sure! 🥰😋

Café Wien, located in the Cita shopping centre, is a bright and airy café with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outside area provides shade from direct sunlight, making it a great spot for late afternoon coffee after a day at the beach. The 'Afternoon Tea' experience exudes decadence with its matching tea service and luxurious-tasting cakes. Although slightly pricier than average, the friendly staff and delicious homemade cakes make it well worth a visit.
Wow, what an absolute treat! We had coffee and cake, and while the coffee was really nice, the cakes were out of this world. I had one of the best poppy seed cakes I’ve ever tasted—sorry, Mum ( she is the baker back home ) but the one from Café Wien was simply delicious! The atmosphere was great, and the staff were extremely friendly. We will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Gran Canaria!
LUC A — Google review
Despite some negative reviews on quality this is my go-to in Gran Canaria for cakes. Add some whipped cream (extra 50c) for some decadence. There are many varieties as you can see from the images and they are reasonably priced (€4.40). I cannot tell you about the coffee as I don’t partake. Can be warm inside on the top of the is quirky dated Cita mall (from 70s) though worth the tour imo. Some special restaurants and shops here. Thanks
Chris H — Google review
When I first walked in, I was greeted by a lovely man who explained what each cake was. All the cakes looked fresh and delightful. I sat inside in the cool. The chilled ambience of the café added to the experience. The lovely man bought me my order of apple cake and a tropical smoothie to my table. The apple cake was delicious. It was fresh and moist. The smoothie was tasty, too. All cakes are made on site. I would definitely recommend coming here to try the cake.
Lynsey M — Google review
The cakes were okay, they all had a hard biscuit on the bottom. Cappuccino was also a bit watery and weird area to get to the coffee place.

Went there today as a recommendation from my friend. First it was a little bit difficult to find as I went into the entry of the shopping center. But straight through the center and then the stairs upwards I saw the label. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I ordered one piece of apple pie with ice cream. The taste was amazing. If you're a cake and coffee enthusiast, get there and enjoy.

Café Wien was recommended to us and did not disappoint. It’s not easy to find but is worth the trip and the food and drinks are delicious. There’s a Germanic them and rhubarb cake is excellent as is the crumble. Strudel looked good too.

A very bright cafe where the outside seating area has a roof of canvas to shade you from direct sunlight but you can still feel the heat. Inside is airy with lots of space between the tables. "Afternoon Tea " has a look and feel of decadence about it as it is served in an all-matching tea service and the cakes taste luxurious ! Everthing is served to you with a smile from all the staff. Although this establishment is above average price, it is well worth a visit

Waffle was good, but just watch out for the people trying to sell you stuff. I understand it is right by the water and is fairly touristy, but I found it slightly annoying. If you don't mind that kind of stuff then go for it, because the waffles were actually pretty good

The ice cream is tasty. The service is a bit nonchalant. The live music, on the other hand, is great and a real feast. We enjoyed the performance. Nice place to sit in the evening on the boulevard.

Lovely ice cream, loads of flavours. Wide variety of sundaes (which is what we had) perfect after a walk along the beach. Cocktails are really good as well.

Cute spot on the square for dessert and drinks. My niece had the crepe with nutella which she enjoyed and I ordered the amaretto sundae which was delicious but HUGE. Prices higher than elsewhere, but to be expected given the location

Opened, gave us a menu and then went to order and they said they are not serving food? Waited until they were ready and then food came cold?? Food then reheated and was terrible. Photo was of the egg was it opened up. No service and rude attitude to go along side it.

There is always a place that you encounter while on holidays that becomes a favourite place to go. Ciao Ciao is an outdoor cocktail bar and live music venue in the centre of Playa del ingles. Also has an ice cream parlour. we didn't try the ice cream, but it looked to be very popular. Cocktail menu is very reasonably priced and there is a wide selection to choose from. However what really makes this place is the staff. From the first night we visited, when they thoughtfully found us a table at the back without being asked ( away from the loud music)....the staff have been a reason to keep going back. Especially the talented Enrique who appears to be able to balance all manner of items on his head and kept the crowd amused. Very good ice cream 😎😋. Really recommended tested few times. Very friendly staff and put a lot of passion for this place. Very hygienic. You can't miss it! See the pictures 👀ciao

If you like Italian traditional ice cream then this is the place for you. Unfortunately it’s a bit far away from the normal tourist spots but nevertheless worth the visit.

Amazing ice cream, a little out the way from the usual tourist spots but absolutely worth it !!! Super priced authentic Italian ice cream and coffee 👍
Serena R — Google review
5 stars is the right rating here. Very friendly service and great ice cream. And the prices are more than fair. Cheaper than some industrial made ice cream at a shop. After two years, we're here again and the quality is still the same. Even for a family with a lot of kids it's affordable. You get 2 scoops for 2 Euro. Dark chocolate is especially recommended.
Christian — Google review
Ice cream was brilliant and such good value. It's on the first floor of the shopping centre, worth going to if you like authentic ice cream/ gelato. The dark chocolate was 👍

A really tasty ice cream. The straciatella and rum with raisins was so so good! Small one in a cone (can be two mixed flavors or just one) for 2,50EUR

Very nice Cafe Patisserie in a beautiful setting. Good service, nice people, great food, excellent value.

Actually bad coffee - sorry to say. We did choose this place last reading on previous reviews due to time etc. The person behind the bar poured an espresso shot and frothed it on the milk frother (?).
My M — Google review
One of the best places to have coffee in terms of atmosphere. Located inside a very nice park where kids can play and you can have a beautiful scenery. Place not expensive in terms of coffee. The weather was amazing when I went, although windy. However las palmas always colder than the south. Cafe has an ok selection. Its more about the lovely scenery and the atmosphere rather than the food and coffee.
Saeed M — Google review
I had a very tasty salad and a nice Cappuccino. Very recommended
Christine A — Google review
Disappointing. Coffee weak and served in polystyrene cups. Ordered vegetal sandwich, and was served tuna one. Had to go back in kiosk and get them to change it. Water and bottled vino were fine. Only menus on side of kiosk, none to browse. Not all items were priced so it was pot luck what you were going to pay. Not recommended

Heladeria Peña la Vieja is a renowned ice cream parlor in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, boasting 80 years of tradition and history. Situated on the scenic Paseo de la Playa de Las Canteras, it offers a wide array of flavors ranging from classic options like vanilla and chocolate to more exotic ones such as mango and passion fruit.
Dondurmalar güzel ben beğendim , çok aman aman diyemem ama güzeldi , One of the most authentic places in Gran Canaria for ice cream . Located on Las Canteras which is perfect before or after beach. Long queue most of the time ,but worth waiting - really creamy and tasty . Price is very fair and there is plenty of choice - dark chocolate, mango, coconut and pistachio are my favourite.
Hakan A — Google review
Lot's of great flavours and the cone tastes amazing!!! Very creamy and 2 scoops+cone for €3.30 is not bad! Would go at a time when it's less busy as there is always a queue.... Tried Stracciatella which was very average- not enough choc bits but the coconut&pistachio was AMAZING!!!!
Nurdan A — Google review
The place is pretty cozy with a friendly person serving it. But it's just ok ice cream. It's by far not the best one,
Petro K — Google review
Great flavours, price, and portion. Queue isn't bad at all, but you'll need to avoid the obvious times. Service brusque. We have been charged 50c without being told to use a credit card? or no explanation of how it was added, so minus one star.

Hidden gem. If you don't know it, you risk to pass by without noticing, as you can see on the photo. Stunning home made fresh ice cream. Not the mass tourism compromises of Nestlé or Unile but the real thing. Ice cream the way it's meant to be! Made my day even more shiny!

Despite some negative reviews, many patrons find the coffee and pastries to be delicious and reasonably priced.
Great place for a coffee, tea and a cake. The sandwiches are lovely too. Staff friendly and have been here for years. They speak good English as well as Spanish. The cakes are divine. We visted a few times, and were happy to have the salmon sandwich, herring sandwich, sin regal cake, cheesecake, coconut swirl, and almond bakewell tart. All excellent. Fresh and tasty. White wine and the Americano and green tea were delicious. A nice ritual with yhe green tea presentation. The pistachio gelato is gorgeous too, and hard enough to find an equal locally. A lovely shaded terrace to sit and enjoy the afternoon, with a nice breeze.

Lovely little cafe (better than the one of same chain in the Yumbo). They serve amazing cakes (especially the Apple Tart) and ice cream. The coffee is also very nice and strong! The ladies that work here are very friendly and helpful. Very dangerous for the diet this place but worth it!

Excellent as you would expect from any of the Cafe de Paris cafes. We got a piece of San Rival cake, an almond biscuit dipped in chocolate, a cinnamon roll, an Americano coffee (black coffee) and a bottle of still water for around €10. Visitors praise the friendly staff and recommend trying the fresh fruit juice for a delightful morning experience.
Lovely little spot to “brunch like a local”. Coffee wise go for cappuccino- this place has a wide selection of it (no stupid syrups but all natural flavours). Chemex tasted more like a French press coffee - not bad though. Food is fresh and beautiful, Staff is very friendly, Prices are very friendly too.
Svitlana K — Google review
we had the lunch for 2 and it was very good. we had a lot to brunch and extra Orange Juice which was also very fresh. the Red falvet cake was a little disappointing maybe we had high expectation. it was not Bad but it could be a lot better. the Cappuccino was very very good. the staff could do a little bit more for the costumers. the staff was friendly but thats all.
Rizik L — Google review
Very unpleasant experience. First it took 15 minutes to even get noticed. Then we finally ordered and waited one hour, watching everyone else get their food except us, realizing they had forgotten about us - which is incredible since the place is so small and has few guests at a time. In the meantime their phone kept ringing super loud like an alarm, and they just let it keep ringing. Will never go here again and recommend you find another place to eat. This place is a joke! I wanted to add, after finishing the food that eventually arrived, that despite bad atmosphere and service, the good was fenomenal. The chef knows what she is doing, even if her colleagues seem to stressed or confused to do their job properly.

Petit is a very accurate name, but more towards the portion sizes. The food is great but expect to get a few plates or the full brunch if you want to be full.
Zach B — Google review
They didn't have half the options on their menu (not a single juice, no tortilla). The food was very average, with barely any fresh products, guacamole straight from the jar, and pre-cut tasteless mushrooms. And the worst for last: the capuccino is 95% milk, and tasted more like cheap hot chocolate. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly either.

If you're wandering along the stunning Las Canteras beach, make sure to stop by Pliza 21 Canteras for a delightful treat. This charming gelateria offers authentic Italian artisan ice cream that is simply irresistible. With two locations in the city, they pride themselves on innovative flavors crafted from fresh fruits, milk, and eggs. You can explore an impressive selection of around 30 seasonal flavors, including unique nut-based gelato and rich chocolate options.
One of the best ice cream places in the island. Unique flavors, bunch of vegan options (and really tasty once and not watery! some sugar free options as well. Nina B — Google review
Good luck with the waiters. They're running on their own schedule. You may or may not be able to order. Then, you will be asked to buy more or leave if you're sitting outside. After that, your odds of getting your bill in a timely manner are just as high as winning the lottery. The waiters are the walking embodiment of bad service: chaotic, rude and world-class champions in ignoring customers. You should actually try the place for the sheer entertainment and humor value of how awful the service is -- a tourist trap comedy on the beach. Otherwise, the actual ice-cream is good, try the sugar-free chocolate. Well worth the money for the laughs you'd get at how bad customer service can be in such beautiful surroundings.

Me and my partner went there for some hot drinks, rainy Tuesday-afternoon, not mad busy. My partner was trying to make the order in intermediate Spanish, as many of the locals in customer service do not tend to speak any English (myself am not native English-speaker either). The woman at the till, maybe in her 30s to early 40s, was unbelievable rude to my partner, rolling her eyeballs, not the tiniest bit appreciative of the effort, basically ridiculing him. We decided just to stick with the drinks and skip spending any more money on a place that has such poor service. While sitting down I had the opportunity to observe how the said waitress was serving other (foreign) customers that came after us, the faces she made, unreal! People, Las Canteras is full of cafés, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

During our travels, we discovered a gem called Di un Gelato that quickly became our go-to spot. Even though it required a bit of travel from Anfi (Patalavaca) to Puerto Rico, the exceptional quality of their gelato made every trip worthwhile. This bustling establishment is located on the upper floor of a shopping mall and offers an impressive variety of flavors, ensuring there's something for everyone.
This is some of the best gelato I've had in Spain. You can really taste the true flavor here. I highly recommend the pistachio. If you prefer less sweet options, try the Yogurt with Maracuja. The staff is very friendly and attentive, helping you find the perfect flavor. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Good ice cream and different varieties of sweets/desserts which are very good, but I must say that for the price charged for a single ice cream not really worth it. Unfortunately due to the position they know that people will pay any price. Anyhow still a good option.

at 1st: the icecream is deliciuos but the service bad. april 30th 9 p.m. after 50 times on the canarian islands (35times gran Canaria) it was our first time here (and last time too). we went in and asked how it works: sit on the table and got a card?, selfservice? or how ever?. The Woman with the glasses said with a rough voice an without staying with us: "order there!" and shows to the icecream-bar. i asked about crepe (more a thin pancake than a crepe)...also there? we wanted to eat on a table...more rough : yes, all there! the guy than there was really friendly and got a tip, with my opinion that he was friendly but the Woman with the glasses not. i got my icecream in a paper mug and my girlfriend here crepe later on the table. was not possible to eat together. there are Scan-Codes on the tables, but not every tourist have the mobilephone everytime in the pocket...its holiday... so its difficult without signs like: only selfservice...menù... and than unfriendly staff (the Woman with the glasses), which is more arrogant than helpful. stay, look to me and tell me how it works there...not like this. i asked friendly and want the same from everyone than. thx god that not everone is there like this...like the young man at cashier...friendly an normal to everyone.

If you're looking for a delightful culinary experience, Mamma Mía Gelateria Caffetteria is the place to be! I recently visited for breakfast and was blown away by their delicious baguette filled with Jamon Serrano, fresh cheese, and tomato. It was simply divine! To wash it down, I enjoyed a perfectly balanced papaya smoothie that hit all the right notes. The highlight of my visit was the warm hospitality from the staff who were incredibly helpful in guiding us through our choices.
Been there today for breakfast, best choice ever! Had a baguette with Jamon Serrano, fresh cheese and tomato. It was absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I also had a Papaya smoothie with milk that was perfectly balanced, well prepared and tasty. Moreover, what actually liked the most was the kindness of the waiter that helped me and my girlfriend a lot (We understand spanish but we still have to improve when it comes to talk about specific things) to decide what to get, giving us some advise and recommendation! Very happy with the choice 😁

This amazing video is from the soft-serve ice cream shop Mama Mia and its ice cream selection. The price was, if I remember correctly, €2.20/100g (though I might be mistaken), but the ice cream was delicious. They also have a great selection of sweet sauces that perfectly complement the ice cream. We've been there many times and will definitely go again.

One of the best ice cream's we've ever had. Very nice and helful service. We were very impressed with the self service system with a large selections of toppings.

Thanks to the staff we had a great experience! Never been in a place like this before. It's like candy land where you can choose everything you like and just put it on top of your ice cream! Definitely recommend this one to get the best ice cream of Gran Canaria 😋

Great ice-cream parlour where you customise your cup with whatever combination of flavours and toppings you like. It's all priced by the weight of your cup at the end. Bit like an ice-cream pick n mix! Staff are super-friendly and helpful, and the flavours are delicious.

Got the offer for a sandwich, coffee, and juice for €3,30. I don’t like coffee and asked for a substitute such as tea but instead they gave me a larger juice—I got the tino indio, highly recommend. For the price, a great way to fuel up. Would return.

We holiday in Gran Canaria twice a year and always spend one day each time in beautiful Puerto Mogan. NO VISIT WOULD BE COMPLETE WITHOUT COMING HERE! The friendly service combined effortlessly with the most fabulous selection of REAL Gelato. This is THE store you want,do not fall for poor imitations.

What a place, a little bit of ice cream heaven. A small place tucked away in Mogan so a little bit less touristy but serving exceptional ice cream deserts. We've been there 2 years running and look forward to returning in 2025.

Nice place, it's absolutely worth walking here even with so many other options around. It's run by a dedicated Italian couple, and you can taste their passion in everything! The coffee and cappuccino are delicious, but the traditional Italian gelato is a must-try. This is the hidden gem of Mogán!

Hmm, amazing vegan, gluten free and sugar free ice cream, they dont have any other vegan food though but ice cream is a food too or? Haha There are more if these ice cream bars in Gran Canaria, in Puerto Rico is 1€ more expensive the Vecindario. But I guess it is because its close to the beach. They didnt have loos there. We also had a soya milk coffee which was super tasty, only little cool for me. I like coffee to be warm at least if not hot. Parking is easy and also wasy to find this Heladeria.

Cafeteria Flor De Vainilla is a charming little coffee bar that offers a delightful array of sweets and ice cream, making it an ideal spot for breakfast or a sweet treat. The ice cream here is particularly noteworthy—affordable and generously portioned, with two flavors in each serving. While the service can be somewhat disorganized at times, leading to occasional mix-ups with orders, the friendly staff are always eager to help.
We had some amazing desserts at Cafeteria Flor de Vainilla. We had a Nutella Crepe and a pistachio donut. Great atmosphere and service as well.
Suswati B — Google review
Nice little coffee bar. They also sell sweets and ice cream. The ice cream is one of the best I've ever had and also really cheap (€2,90 for a "small" portion which has 2 flavors and it's big enough). Service can be a bit chaotic and sometimes there are mix-ups with the order. I also was a bit disappointed over the pistacchio croissant and bombolone. They're supposed to have pistacchio cream filling but it just seemed/tasted like vanilla cream with some pistacchio nuts in there. But all in all I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are also really fair (and I'm assuming that's because it's further away from the tourist area and locals also come here). Come here before/after going to Mercadona ;)

Nice place for breakfast with amazing pastries and ice cream . Shame that nobody speaks English. It’s always busy till 12 as everyone has breakfast there. Horrible place where l had to wait ages for a coffee and the waiter who was Italian started to insult me when l questioned him about it, Don't go there!!!!!! In my 20 years in Gran Canaria l was never spoken to so badly by a waiter. It was him that was having the bad day.l didn't mind waiting while he served three other people who were there before me.It was when a girl entered to get a takeaway coffee and she was served before me, l went to the ladies out of boredom, l was waiting so long, the customer is always right, muy mal attitude.

Helamore is an ice cream parlor in Puerto Rico that offers a variety of delicious flavors. With over 32 options to choose from, including sugar-free, gluten-free, and vegan varieties, there is something for everyone. Located near Puerto Rico beach, it is a popular destination for ice cream lovers. The friendly staff are generous with their scoops and provide excellent service.
I love ice cream and can say without a doubt this is some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted, the most difficult decision here is which of the 32+ flavours to choose. In amongst the wide array of flavours they do sugar free, gluten free and vegan ice cream. Every time we have been to Puerto Rico I have been a regular visitor, located right next to the Spar near Puerto Rico beach this is one treat not to be missed. The staff are really friendly and also generous when it comes to scooping out the ice cream. While you're in Puerto Rico treat yourself to some Helamore and you won't regret it. Whether you're looking for something rich like Nutella, Kinder Bueno, Biscoff or Snicker's or something refreshing like Passion fruit, Mango or lemon they have flavours to suit every palette.

Delicious ice creams, okay service, good prices, generous servings. Some of the best ice creams I've had. The flavours with biscuits etc in had a lot of biscuit pieces in! Excellent! Might have to visit here every day! Only thing that might improve this place is prices displayed for all products. Only prices visible are on the pots, not for cones or slushes.

The best ice cream on the island. If you order a large ice cream it is also a lot 😉 Friendly service.
Jan H — Google review
We visited Helamore 3 times during our one week stay in Mogan and I'm so glad we found it. It's by the far the best cafe in the area in terms of cleanliness, variety, freshness and value for money. Great ice cream (crepes and waffles also available), decent coffee and fresh croissants and light sandwiches. Most impressive was the fact the prices did not seem to be at tourist rip-off levels but were very reasonable and more what you would expect at a casual cafe. I loved how clean the place was too. It really makes a lot of the beachside places look overpriced tourist traps - which let's face it, they are!

The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed, making it ideal for enjoying delicious treats like their rich chocolate cake or scrumptious brownies.
A really yummy chocolate cake. Nice staff. It's great that you can bring your dog (and cat ?) if needed. Unfortunately, they seem to be short of stuff. Only two people working and a lot of customers.

I got the brie and bacon sandwich + coffee with milk for €4.80. Its a good deal when you buy it together as an offer. Service is good, staff spoke English but they don’t have menu/prices of food, so it makes things a little more complicated when you are on a budget. Nevertheless the sandwich was very good. The coffee was just regular. Good atmosphere and prices. Recommend!

Capriccio is a popular spot for visitors, known for its delicious ice cream and wide range of flavors like cheesecake, lotus, and pistachio. In addition to ice cream, they also offer waffles, coffee, milkshakes, and other desserts. Despite some low ratings online, many patrons return annually due to the friendly and welcoming staff. The business has suffered from reduced tourism this year but continues to provide good value for its offerings at Anfi beach.
I come here every year without fail, the ice cream is absolutely delicious - completely worth it! Thus, I am very surprised to see a low rating on Google. The gelateria offer a wide range of ice cream flavours; cheesecake, lotus and pistachio are my favourite. They also have other dessert and drinks options. The staff this year have been super polite, welcoming and friendly. I hope more people pay a visit! It's been heartbreaking to see the quiet business this year due to less holiday visitors.
Julie D — Google review
We ordered two spaghettis ice cream. We payed €17,50. The service was really bad and it was very crowded in there. When we got the our ice-coupé it looked very rushed, not much ice cream and strawberry’s for that amount of money, unfinished and sprinkled with a huge amount of coconut rasp. Definitely not coming here again. The ice cream itself tasted ok.
Laura R — Google review
We had an iced coffee which was excellent, but we were charged 7 Euros each! So expensive! We had made the mistake of ordering without looking at the Menu. Also, there was no written bill and no receipt given, just a strange money machine. We felt ripped off. Be very careful here. Check the menu first. Or go to one of the other places.

The best place at Anfi beach! Delicious homemade ice cream and waffles, good coffee and you just have to try their strawberry milk shake!! Good value for what you get.. the staff is super friendly and efficient.
Barbora G — Google review
First time I have left a review but the service here was surprisingly bad. I did not read any reviews before going and now I wish I had. The prices were high, but that wasn't even what bothered me. The servers were rude and expected you to know how the system worked even though it is a pretty much only tourist area. They were so slow and then when I paid, they tapped their fingers in boredom on the counter during the 1 (!) minute I took to pull out the change needed to pay. Honestly it felt like these girls thought they were the guests rather than staff and everyone should cater to them. Management might want to give a lesson in customer service, somehow all the other places we have visited have been really good at service so it isn't a cultural thing, it is a staff issue. I won't be back. I can get decent ice cream elsewhere!
L O — Google review
Please avoid, we went there as a part of our holiday in June 2017, paid €21 for ice creams waited and nothing arrived. After 30 minutes wait chased up the waitress who told us it was busy and the ice creams would arrive soon (one other table occupied at this point). After an hour still no ice creams so asked again to be told we had ordered wrong, not paid and could get new ice creams for another €16. No apologies made, no attempt to fix the issue and made to feel like we were cheating the system. Avoid at all costs.
Matthew C — Google review
As many pointed out, the service is by far the worst in the Anfi Del Mar. Most of the time 3 waiters walk around, shrugging their shoulders if one of them is confused about an order, clueless what they should do. Sometimes there is no one responsible for making crepes for instance, and you wait... you wait... until you get angry and ask them twice where your order is. Besides that the ice, crepes and waffles are good.
Stefan N — Google review
Been to this gelateria many times before. We turned up today and purchased the 3 scoops for €4.90. We then proceeded to advise of our selection. We were told there was no "Snickers" on offer, this made us rethink our choice, for which the staff member decided to leave us and go and stand near the tills, this being despite there were no other customers anywhere in sight. So we've had a rethink and we're waiting for this female member (Miami Ink) to turn around and serve us our order! Eventually this happened. We were then served the smallest amount of Gelato we'd ever had. And @€4.90 we won't be doing that again. We all know value for money at Anfi is hard to come by but this took the biscuit. The same 3 scoops of gelato at Spar in Arguineguín is €3.50

(Translated by Google) We arrived at the place on Sunday at 10:00 PM thinking we had time for an ice cream and milkshake because it was supposed to close at 10:30 PM, as advertised. We were surprised to see the patio completely packed with four people inside in line and another three standing up eating ice cream. The tables inside were all organized and a blonde girl was cleaning them. When she finished, she approached the ice cream display and spoke to the line, asking them to move a little further so she could clean it as well. Unbelievable, she practically kicked us out of the place even though it wasn't closing time. Some people left just seeing the rush of those workers. Simply regrettable, I admit that we were also thinking of leaving but I was interested to know how far they were willing to go with the poor treatment, recognizing that none of the 3 should be the owner and to another surprise, when paying, I take out my card and they tell me that they DO NOT have card payments, the couple who is with us confirms that they have NEVER charged with cards there, another surprise at this point! There I was shocked, we have had a restaurant business in Barcelona and that method of payment is most used, easier and safer. To be honest, we ended up having the ice cream and the milkshake sitting on a bench nearby and we didn't even find it as good as the first time they invited us, it was missing the main ingredient... I'm going to wait for a response to this review because honestly, I know the sector very well and I know how much is lost with poor treatment of that type, both for the workers and for lacking a payment method that is so necessary for any client.

Worst ever mojito. Never in my life did I have such a bad mojito as in this ice cream bar. The price of 5€ did nothing to improve the bad taste. It mainly consisted of water, little if any sugar and almost no rum. We only sipped once and did not know where to spit out. We asked the waiter if this is serious and off she went.

Life long ice cream fan, but this place was absolutely terrible. I travelled all over europe tasting the best ice cream, but this place had the rankest sorbet ever. I order lemon and watermelon. They both had a very bitter after taste. totally artificial and nothing natural about them. Mind you this was 26 degrees october. However the italian artisanal place 10 mins down the beach was where I got a proper taste of ice cream in gran canaria. Very disappointed with this place.

Ice cream shop
Heladeria Martonela Mogan is a remarkable ice cream shop that exceeds expectations. The ice cream is impeccable and reasonably priced, making it arguably the best I've had recently. The texture, taste, and portion size are all flawless. Situated in the charming town of Puerto de Mogán, this cute little establishment offers an array of delicious and fresh flavors. While some may find the prices slightly high, considering the prime location and quality of their products, it's justifiable.
Went to this tucked away gem with my girlfriend yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream and it felt like a taste of Italy. I think the people who own this place are actually Italian and so it figures that their gelato is excellent In terms of flavours, we had the kinder white (excellent), hazelnut (very good) and strawberry (very good, but bit sour). The gelato was smooth, creamy and tastey. Plus the scoop size was actually quite generous and they let you try a bunch of flavours Price: 1 scoop = 3 euros 2 scoop = 4 euros 3 scoop = 5 euros

Nestled in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Pastelería Di Nardi is a delightful bakery that captures the essence of local charm. Located on C. We visited this place twice during our stay—once for sandwiches and the next day for coffee and pastries. The photos I see here show cakes and pastries that I've never seen in the shop - perhaps it was a special occasion or a special order. They have quite a nice selection of bread and submarine sandwiches - my favourite is the chicken and avocado. The coffee is average - if you like it hot, be sure to insist on it. And if it isn't hot enough, ask them to heat it up. I had to.

Your ice cream is fantastic, the best on this island! What makes the experience even more special is the way you prepare it and how you interact with your guests. (Translated by Google) Quite disappointed with the site. Apart from taking a long time despite the large number of staff they have, the food leaves a lot to be desired. We went for a snack and ordered crepe, milkshakes and a tiramisu. The shakes were medium in size and came out at 4.5 excessive considering that 50% was ice. Then the crepe is one of the smallest I have seen, with minimal Nutella filling and at a price of €4 which is not worth it. And finally, I am a big fan of tiramisu and I thought that in an Italian restaurant it would be very delicious but nothing could be further from the truth. Acceptable flavor but what cannot be is that it came almost frozen and with pieces of ice. Any hint of flavor you had from chewing ice is destroyed. It seemed expensive to me, and not very there. For more information follow me on Instagram: @comeconlas3b (Original) Bastante decepcionado con el sitio. Helamore Alisios is a remarkable ice cream shop that offers delicious treats, including the highly recommended Canarian meriendita flavor, which combines banana, biscuit, and oranges. The ice creams are handcrafted and of excellent quality. Additionally, their waffles are also satisfying although they could benefit from a touch more sweetness. The customer service at Helamore Alisios is superb with a notable number of staff members providing attentive care to customers.

The tables are dirty and left uncleaned for too long, with the entire floor unswept and full of papers, etc. There are no shift receipts and when a lot of people get together, it is chaos. If it is cold, all the terraces in the area are not very pleasant to hang out. (Original) Los helados son muy buenos, pero el resto es todo muy mejorable. If you're on the hunt for a unique ice cream experience, look no further than Helados El Canario. This charming spot offers an impressive selection of artisanal flavors that go beyond the usual chocolate and vanilla. You can indulge in delightful combinations like Indian prickly pear with orange or creamy cheese with berries. The atmosphere is inviting, complete with a lovely garden where you might even encounter some friendly animals!
Amazing little ice cream place. Wide variety of flavours - you won't find your normal chocolate and vanilla here. But instead you get cream cheese with berries, plantains with digestive cookies, chocolate with orange, ... We sampled about 6 flavours before we settled on a choice. Very friendly lady too! You can buy ice cream by the tub to take home.

(Translated by Google) Artisanal ice cream. I recommend: Indian prickly pear with orange, cinnamon, or custard flavor. The avocado tastes a little like aloe vera (it was the flavor we liked the least). We ordered 4 glasses of ice cream with two scoops each. The total price was 12.50 euros. They sell 1-liter tubs for 10 euros and give away cookie cones. They have other 500 ml tubs. at 7 euros. Delicious!!! (Original) Helados artesanales. El Obrador - Essingluten is a pleasant establishment offering a variety of choices at affordable prices. The location can be found at Joaquin Costa 7, although there have been reported issues with its accuracy on Maps. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, including freshly squeezed orange juice. The cake is delicious, although some find the coffee to be diluted; however, it remains an inexpensive option.

Pastelería Reyes offers a spacious and pleasant dining area, where customers can enjoy their meals. The sweets are incredibly fresh, sophisticated, and skillfully crafted. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the products. However, it is peculiar that they record personal information of their clients. This practice does not instill a sense of security and raises concerns about potential quarantine measures if someone who tested positive for an illness claims to have had breakfast there.

(Translated by Google) First of all, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this bakery at all. My brother posted a review a while ago, saying they don't follow Google's business hours (which is the truth), and today he decided to go with my mother for a snack, and the owner started yelling at him, refusing to serve him because of the review he posted at the time. If they don't accept criticism, they shouldn't have a business. He made more rather inappropriate gestures, to put it mildly, toward my brother for no reason because he didn't mention anything bad in that review, and if that's the case, he also has no right to act the way he did, much less REFUSING TO GIVE HIM THE COMPLAINT FORMS, which he of course asked for because that's ILLEGAL. I don't know how he had them, but the fact that they were covered in dirt is a fact that couldn't even be removed. Look, we'd been there several times, bought cakes (one came with a worm), and never stopped going because of it, and this guy acts like this? What a professional! Vaya profesional !
