Honestly the donuts are okay. Like it’s a good stop if you’re going between Edmonton and Calgary but I would never go out of my way for it. It is a good pick me up while going on that drive. The coffee was also extremely mediocre. This is the second time I try this and the donuts are just genuinely okay. I wouldn’t mind getting again but I’m not recommending anyone to go too far for it. 6.5/10 - if it’s on the way then get it if you’d like.

Great food unique setting felt bad for the barista she was Slammed and by herself with over 30 ppl in the cafe and a line up . Poor thing, she did a great job explaining to everyone the situation and did her very best. The Capone's seam a bit over priced flavour was decent on moat of them . I had the pleasure this morning (Oct 2, 745am) to chat with this wonderful man and he totally made my day. He was fun to chat with and made me the YUMMIEST coffee ever. I love this coffee shop so much, it reminds me of Calgary coffee shops. I’ve gone here a couple times and seriously allll the staff are so amazing and I can’t say enough good things about this shop. 10/10 will be returning! You guys are amazing!

Ordered almond cannoli and its so good! The cream is not too sweet and the texture of cannoli was good! Their carrot cake was so dense and enough sweetness for my palate paired with turtle coffee! Ambience was great and the staff were friendly. Definitely gonna go back!

This place has my heart now although it’s hours away from Calgary. I’m a dessert person. The cannolis from here were recommended by a colleague at my work place. Tried their salted caramel flavour and vanilla flavour cannolis. The salted caramel cannoli was the star. It was so good. I enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommended to go and try this place.

I got my parents a date night dinner at heritage ranch on the weekend. Just wanted to share the experience my parents had. The service was good, but the portion sizes were extremely underwhelming. Every plate was shareable. For $350 I would expect my parents to leave being full and not hungry on the way home.

We had a great meal. The smoked brisket on the bun as well as the nachos was very delicious.

I had the worst service, with a long wait (55 mins the be exact) and awful food. The burrata pizza (note it's cost more than $30 for this) had no burrata, and the breadboard featured flavorless and cold bread. The server paid no attention to the guests and served sharing plates with the dinner course. I've been coming here from Calgary for the past 5 years. This dinner marks the end of it. Never going back to this awful place. The only thing that's improved here is exorbitant prices. Goodbye, Heritage!

The grandchildren love visiting the horses. We always bring carrots to feed them. The playground is lots of fun as well. We haven't yet tried the pony rides or the trail rides but I'm guessing they are great as well. The horses all seem so friendly!

Cool working ranch that offers either horseback riding or carriage rides. You can walk around and see the horses and walk on some trails also. There is a playground 🛝 for the kids and benches and picnic tables. There is lots of parking available. There are also public washrooms available. Did not do anything with the horses 🐎 but we did eat at the restaurant that is part of the ranch. There is a cool tower that you can walk up and get a great high view of the ranch. My wife and I enjoyed our visit.

What a fantastic experience! My recent visit to Famoso in Red Deer was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. But what really made the evening was our server. They were so kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It's rare to find such a great combination of amazing food and top-notch service. I can't wait to go back!

Sept 22/2025 update: Don't order online! 🤬 I'm disappointed I went in and today for my special needs childs favorite treat pizza it was lunch granted they were busy but I had sat down set a timer and within 10 minutes still had not been given a menu or even approached by our server. I just think it's awful business practice. I didn't make a reservation for the patio so I was told I wasn't supposed to go out there? It's lunch hour? And not once did our server approach us with a menu or I would have told her I had already known what I wanted to order. Is there a dress code I missed? When did reservation start? Awful experience. Terrible. Not family friendly.

Food so good I made the waitress give the chefs a crisp high 5! Then got one back. Highly recommend. Perfect date night place ;) so much food we both had leftovers.

As Italian I totally approve this restaurant! We came here for my birthday and Aimy was so nice and friendly and took amazing care of us! It worth coming just for the treatment. But food doesn’t disappoint either! We god bruschetta and Mediterranean rolls, that were delicious. Quattro formaggi was so tasty and primavera was really good too but was missing a little bit of salt and maybe a splash of balsamic cream. Plus because it was my birthday, Aimy surprised us with a delicious cheesecake. We’re looking forward to come back and will recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! As a pure vegetarian, I’m always a little cautious when dining out, but my server, Brandie, made the whole experience truly enjoyable. She was very attentive and suggested items from their new summer menu, making sure everything was completely vegetarian. I really appreciated the care she took in ensuring my meal was exactly what I wanted. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and I left feeling very happy. Definitely a place I’d recommend and I’ll be coming back again!

This place is my girlfriend and i’s favourite place to go! When I first came here I couldn’t even believe pizza could even get that good, the other day I surprised my girlfriend with her favourite foods, the vesuvio pizza, bruschetta and the tomato bisque soup! Are first day there we met Brandie and a year later we consider her family! She is so sweet and so nice to us! All the cooks are amazing! Always smiling at us and greeting us, the atmosphere is perfect and one someone ask where a good spot to eat is, I tell them they HAVE to try Famoso!!

We visit famoso red deer at least once every too weeks. To point we walk in and are greeted by name (yes very much like cheers). The food is delicious dont get me wrong but our experiences are made by the staff and the atmosphere they create. Aimy is always an absolute pleasure. If you haven't tried it, try it. If you have tried it, try it again. I highly recommend the meatballs and prosciutto wrapped mozzarella balls (careful theyre hot)!

My kid will tell you that he loved loved loved the chocolate chip pancakes. The food was so good. I had a hot sandwich with the burger - the meat tasted so fresh and good. The turkey rice soup was so delicious and nice to have rather than fries. My spouse got the open-faced western sandwich. Beautiful little spot to stop on the way to Edmonton.

My mom and I love Phil's! We've been coming for 20 years, but recently it seems the quality of the food has been declining and the prices have been going up. Also, we were informed our favourite salad dressing (house flora) might be discontinued. Funny as it may sound, the salad dressing is the reason we come. So if it's discontinued, we likely won't be returning. Phil's has been our favourite spot in Red Deer for many years... so we hope it can make a turnaround. <3

Extremely disappointed. We came in hoping to enjoy a good breakfast, but were treated with surprising rudeness simply because we had a group of five. Instead of being welcomed, we were made to feel like an inconvenience and were essentially chased out. I won’t be returning — and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly or accommodating dining experience.

Stopped by here for brekky with the boys on the way to Calgary. It was just well "okay". Not great not bad just okay. I think a bit high priced for what it was . Nothing really stood out. Okay food, okay service.

We ordered a take out dinner for 11 people on June 6th, 2025. It was the two piece Fish Dinner. The cook and staff had it all prepared, right down to the tartar sauce, napkins and cutlery. Nothing was missed and it was Delicous!! Everyone at the Birthday Party…Happy! Great Job Ricky’s on Gas Alley. 😁😁 I need to add that this would have been a 5 star review but, it was the price that lost a star. Bit of “sticker shock” for us but, as Ricky’s is a franchise, this restaurant may have no control over prices. Still, the staff and food were terrific 😉

Great family Diner in Red Deer Alberta. Friendly staff, fresh eats, great comfortable seating. Was greeted right away, sat and started eating within 20-25 mins of getting there. Will definitely go back! Kids meals come with free drink refills and an ice cream sundae 🍨 😋

I found a broken fingernail at the bottom of my plate after finishing my meal at Ricky’s. I discreetly told the server, who said she’d inform the kitchen, but there was no apology. It was absolutely disgusting. This kind of hygiene issue is unacceptable.

Went for lunch with a friend, we arrived at noon and were seated a few minutes later. Place was about 40% full. We place our orders about ten minutes later. Roughly about thirty minutes after we had placed our order a customer who was seated before we got seated, went to the bar and complained that he had been waiting forty five minutes for his order, who then proceeded to leave. Well about ten minutes passed and we received our order. At that time, the server acknowledged that we had waited beyond a reasonable amount of time. The food was hot, but nothing suggested why it would take forty plus minutes to receive our food. When the server returned to collect our dishes, she mentioned that it was a tough transition period, where the restaurant was trying to embrace the reemergence of the public with a skeleton kitchen staff.

We stopped by here for lunch. The food was very fresh and portion sizes were generous. Service was excellent too. I would definitely recommend this place to others

Went to try this Sushi place after reading the reviews. Very disappointed with the outcome. I ordered, - a Ta Ke salad - a bit too sweet - Agedashi tofu - great texture but lacking flavour - Assorted Tempura - vegetables and shrimp were good but the batter is too thick - Assorted Sashimi - totally waterlogged. The shrimp was so wet it squirted water. Those other pieces were wet too. soggy fish. The tuna was frozen and crunchy like ice cubes. The salmon was passable. I was very disappointed in the food. Service was decent. The atmosphere was good. Probably won’t ever come back to repeat this $70 meal.

Very lovely place! Definitely the best avocado and cucumber rolls in red deer! A quiet spot, very clean and good atmosphere. Celiac and vegan friendly! Lots of veggie roll options. Prices are good for what you get! Highly recommend trying this place out! Only four stars because the service is very poor. The waitress never refilled our water, didn’t check in on our table, forgot to bring us things we had asked for and we had to get up to ask for the bill because she didn't check in. Very disappointing but the food is so good.

Drove in from Calgary and it was a wonderful experience. Best sushi and tempura I have had in a long time! They deserve 10/10. Our waitress was also lovely. Will definitely be stopping here again soon!

Our favourite restaurant in Red Deer! Consistently delicious, friendly staff and a strong commitment to quality food. The bento box is a great value with delicious choices! The only downside of Sushi Ta Ke…it makes most other sushi places we have gone to seem overpriced and usually disappointing. Makes my mouth water just thinking about their food!!

Tempura and miso were really good but the rolls were terrible had to get my order remade as I asked for no sauce and fish eggs and they still put it , rice completely fell apart and didn’t have a good presentation, servers were barely present, had to get up and ask for water a few times because she wouldn’t bring it out, wouldn’t ever be going back.

The best sushi experience my family, friends and I have had in Canada so far. Keep in mind the venue is small and the menu is not all you can eat. The quality of their food and the attention to making each dish perfectly every time is hard to describe. You have to taste it to believe it. Even if you don't enjoy sushi their food will blow you away. It is simply the best tasting sushi, probably in Canada. A rare five stars from me.

Friendly service, with good selection of food to choose from. All the items I ordered were very tasty. I went in an hour before they closed, so we were still eating alittle after closing time and they never tried rush us out so I truly appreciated that they let us enjoy our meal at our own pace.

We visited Little Ice Cream & Soda Shoppe because the sign outside said “homemade ice cream,” and that caught our attention. The ice cream was tasty and there were lots of flavors to choose from, which we really liked. There are just a couple of things that could make the experience even better. My mom is diabetic and decided not to join us because she assumed there wouldn’t be any diabetic-friendly options. It would be great to have sugar-free or low-sugar ice cream available too. Also, adding some soft background music could make the space feel more cozy, especially since many people like to sit and enjoy their ice cream inside. Overall, we enjoyed the visit and appreciated the variety of flavors!

This was my second visit to this ice cream shop. I came back because I really enjoyed my first experience, but this time was disappointing. The ice cream was ok, but the waffle cone was soft and not crunchy. I mentioned it to the staff and asked if they could change it. I was told the cone was “freshly made” and that’s how it’s supposed to be—then told I’d have to pay for a new one if I wanted a replacement. That explanation didn’t make sense and came off as dismissive. A freshly made waffle cone should be crispy, not soft. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—just a proper cone for my ice cream, which is quite expensive already. I even expressed that I was very disappointed with the response, but the staff didn’t apologize or make any effort to address my concern. That lack of basic courtesy made the experience worse. I left feeling let down. How staff handle feedback really matters—and in this case, it wasn’t handled well. I hope the owners take this feedback seriously. Many of us genuinely want to support local businesses and make an effort to spend our money—even on overpriced products—because we believe in community. But when you’re treated this way, what more can you do?

It’s been my favourite ice cream shop for 40+ years and still continues to. They always have the best flavours with lots of choices. I was so happy to hear that they finally brought in an ATM machine so that when people forget its cash only they are able to pull out cash without their ice cream being left behind. I love this place. Everybody should check it out and I will continue to support it always!

Absolutely absurd pricing. We got a sundae 2 very small scoops for 9 dollars. It's also cash only so if you want to spend the ATM fees plus the very overpriced icecream... enjoy that as well. Icecream isnt anything to rave about.

Delicous ice cream. Their waffle cones weren't my favorite as they seemed to have a stale texture, but I think it's because they make them themselves, so it's just different than the norm. Lots of ice cream flavors and all the kinds we ordered were really good.

Decent-sized helping on the cone, and they made a very good chocolate soda, but sooo expensive….it shouldn’t cost $20 for two people to visit an ice cream shop (and the cone didn’t compare in quality with MacKays in Cochrane, which remains the best in Alberta).

This has one of the best Montreal smoked meat sandwich! Staff are wonderful and the food is spectacular. The chicken club sandwich was yummy as well. The portions are huge and the veggies are nice and fresh. Great place!

Have not been to a Menchie’s in a long time! Obviously because all of our kids are grown up and moved on so no need to splash out on cups of frozen yogurt 🍦 and treats. This location was spacious, clean and well laid out. Service was friendly and nice. Treats were well presented and fresh. All good! Only one thing I noticed was they didn’t have a recycling ♻️ spot for the plastic spoons as most locations.

Great frozen yogurt, however, it's 100% self serve. 100%! You pour your own yogurt, you put on all your own toppings, which is absolutely fine until you have the gall to ask for a tip. That's ridiculous

Very nice to get $5 credit for my birthday from Menchie’s. Great variety in types of yogurt and toppings. One flavour that I tried was liquidy. About $5-6 for half a cup of frozen yogurt. The cake batter flavour tasted very much like cake batter. I was greeted when I entered and was asked if I knew how it worked. Sample cups available to try flavours before you buy. I agree with other reviewers that it was very odd to be asked if I wanted to tip the cashier when I paid for my order.

Nice to see a Menchie that's busy. It's easy to see why. The first thing i noticed was that the worker was smiling and acknowledged as we walked in. 2nd, the area was very clean from the dispensary to the toppings. Lastly, there were many flavors to choose from. Great job from the gentleman working that shift!

I ordered thru DD,different kinds of their cheesecakes and each one of them are really good but there is one for me that stood out thr most which is the mango flan cheesecake,it is light,smooth and a balance of sweetness and tangyness a great dessert for a Hot day! Thank you.

I went to this Jollibee in Red Deer. I drove half an hour to check the place. As soon as I reached the counter, I was warmly greeted by the crew and the managers Grace and Vhec. They were delighted and excited explaining the new promo going on. After a while I was followed up by another managers, I believe they were Zy and Margaret, to check how was the food service I experienced and the total atmosphere inside. Restroom was clean and the surrounding dining area. As I observed the crew dealing with other customers, they are also attentive to their needs with no bias. My food is on temp and fresh. Definitely will speak of this branch to my colleagues back in my town. Good job JB Bowermall place! :)

I love each and every dining experience at Jollibee Red Deer. Im happy that their spaghetti is improved its taste and now very similar to what we usually had in the Philippines compared to what I had during their soft opening. The chicken never failed even my kid who’s very picky with her meals can eat a lot of rice with it. All the staff are so nice and friendly, they always greet you with a smile!! The place is neat most of the time however there are times that the washroom needs a bit of tidying. Overall we would love going back here and would definitely recommend

We visited Jollibee on Easter Saturday with family and friends, and we had a wonderful experience! The food was excellent as always — hot, delicious, and satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable. The only thing we hope for is that they expand the dining area soon, as it was quite busy and some people had a hard time finding seats. Overall, a great time and definitely worth the visit! We stopped at Hash in Red Deer on our way from Calgary to Edmonton after seeing the great reviews and checking out their online menu—and wow… it was beyond anything we expected! The breakfast tacos, the Triple Trouble, endless mimosa options, and fantastic coffee choices were out of this world. I loved that you could customize everything—right down to “how I want my bacon cooked,” the type of potatoes, pork belly options, and more. Every bite was perfection. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is modern, cool, and perfect for lingering over brunch. This place isn’t just a breakfast stop—it’s a must-visit destination. I’ll be back every single time I drive between Calgary and Edmonton.

Long wait to order and then get our order, but the place was busy. Staff was friendly, price was high (coffee was expensive!!) Waffle from my order was hard, Brisket was cold. Presentation was Amazing.

Great breakfast on the way through to lac la biche. The Tripple Trouble was huge, everything was prepared very well. The rosemary potatoes were a bit bland and could use some salt but did feel on the healthier side.

The food and service here are amazing. Good Gluten Free menu with great breakfast choices including Eggs Benni!! Well worth the stop. The espresso is amazing as well!

I have eaten here a few times in the restaurant and in the small private room. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. Lots of variety on the menu served in a cute atmosphere. Restaurant is usually busy so staff don't always have the chance to get the orders right away and requests for condiments sometimes take a bit longer which is understandable.

An Absolute Gem for Breakfast in Red Deer! I had an incredible breakfast at Hash and can’t recommend it enough! I ordered the steak, eggs, and bacon — and it was cooked to perfection. The kitchen was more than accommodating with my special requests, which I really appreciated. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The wait staff were attentive, kind, and made the whole visit feel warm and welcoming. It’s rare to find that kind of service these days, and it really made my morning. If you’re looking for a delicious, satisfying breakfast with top-notch service in Red Deer, Hash is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was excellent, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The food was hot and comforting and the gluten free menu was surprisingly good. The staff was friendly and made sure to check on us often. The whole aesthetic of the restaurant was super cool. The wait time for the food was totally appropriate for the quality. Portion sizes were great. I will definitely be coming back!!

We have been out to Blanco's many times. In the past I have had good service. This was my second visit during Happy Hour on Taco Tuesday. We arrived at 4:15. There were 3 other tables. However, after we were offered water we waited over 30 minutes to get a drink. We attempted to get the attention of one of the 2 people serving several times, but it didn't work. More staff came in as we waited, they started serving new tables. We were finally able to order food at 5:00. We almost missed Happy Hour all together. The tacos were good. But we won't be back for a while.

Good tacos, the fish taco is really good. Service was super bad, they walked past empty glasses multiple times until we asked for more water/drinks. They do have cool flavors of margaritas. Decor was also nice. Good selection of hot sauces for your food when they remember to bring them.

I ordered the salsa and chips appetizer and the enchilada mas grande for my main course. To drink, a couple of tequila shots. Everything was delicious. The food was very filling. The shots were flavourful, very smooth going down. I'll definitely be coming back. Additional comments... 2022-02-02 we'll we definitely went back, I had the same appetizer and main course, along with a different flight of tequila. While my wife had the Red Snapper Tacos as her main course and two margaritas to drink.

Good tacos, I love the tilapia and shrimp ones. Great price and fun karaoking there on Sunday night.

Pretty pricy for what you get. Would go back again for taco Tuesday or during happy hour. Sangria was delicious! Tacos were delicious, although there wasn't a lot on them (strip of fish and cabbage). Burrito was delicious, just expensive.

On our way to grocery shopping we saw Blanco Cantina, and missing good Mexican food this winter since being stuck in Canada, we thought we would give it a try. Since it was noon, the restaurant was almost full (a good sign). We were seated right away and given menus. We both had the lunch special, beef tacos, with Margaritas for $20. The drinks were great, mine was a regular lime and the other was a Blueberry one. I had a second one, just for tasting purposes. FYI, they did not come in Margarita glasses, but were salt or sugar rimmed (the blueberry was the sweet one). The tacos which had lots of meat were very good. Each meal came with as side of Guac and chips (a decent amount with the tacos). I was reluctant to order the Churros for dessert as they often do not taste that good. I was assured that they were made in the restaurant so we tried them. They were really good. Lots of interesting things on the menu I'll try when I go back.

I've had a Saskatoon blueberry danish also a coffee.. They were amazing. Coffee was fresh but the danish was amazing.. It made my day honestly. As you might see in my photo, I had a bite first and then leave a comment :) I also thank to that lady for those homemade bakeries.

Fantastic croissants and the take and bake stuff is incredible! So easy to make in your own oven so you get the freshest croissant right at home. The lady in there was super helpful and even kept our items in the freezer while we popped down the road to grab some coffee at a spot she recommended. We got some of the fancy cakes too, I really liked the cheesecake but all were wonderful.

Tastefully designed bakery that just opened. We actually came by the day before towards the end of the day and noticed all the cakes were sold out. We decided to come back the next morning and they were fully stocked. We ordered the Almond Croissant, Saskatoon Danish, Pizza Danish and the Monkey Bread. The croissants and danishes were super flakey and delicious. Monkey Bread was crispy on the top and soft on the inside. I can't pick a favorite as everything was just so good! Highly recommend all the goods we ordered and would come back to try their cakes.

This is a great place with very delicious pastries and desserts 🥐😍 it's also really cool that you can buy frozen pastries to take home, at a good price 😌 I highly recommend this bakery, you definitely won't regret trying their incredible croissants and other sweets! 🥰

Absolutely worth stopping in red deer for. Top quality pastries at a very fair price. Almond croissant was perfection and the Danish was one of the better I've had, ever. The cakes looked like they were out if a magazine, will definitely make a trip out for this bakery.

The owner is super nice and is very patient with us customers who take forever to pick a flavor. She's also really seems to enjoy children and my little toddler liked her too. Of course the ice cream was delicious and Cone Castle did have a dairy free choice for my mom. The one scoop bowl size is a generous portion and is certainly enough for most people.

There are not very many ice cream parlors in town, one is always lined up out the door on hot days. Took my family here. They sell foothills ice cream, they have a decent selection to choose from. The only downside is the customer service. I have been here a couple of times, and the owner serving the ice cream has had quite the attitude in the past, which does make it difficult to want to come back.

The heat n eat meals are incredible, tried the turkey dinner and was so, so happy with the taste, amount and value. Had enough turkey to have a turkey bun the next day. Cream pies are amazing and she makes them fresh you pick up the day she makes them. Cabbage rolls are a really nice size, don't need to add anything just heat them up and they are a meal by themselves. And don't forget the ice cream, so many flavors it is hard to decide. Check out this little gem, you wont be disappointed.

Love this place! Great selection of delicious ice cream. The soda selection is great, you can get faygo, vanilla coke, peach crush, you name it. Really the go to spot for sodas not typically found in canada plus the to go meals are real home cooking and very tasty! The owner is a very nice lady and her shop is very cute.

Very poor service. Skimpy with the ice cream and the old hag owner had an attitude. My double was the same size as the child's size ice cream that the little girl with me got so I asked her is this a double and she said yes and continued to hand it to me. She is under staffed and made 15 people wait for their ice cream while she took everyone's money first. She had no knowledge about her flavors and wasn't willing to tell me about them. Waste of money. If you want to pay $7.75 for a double ice cream cone that's the size of a child's cone by all means go.

Great place for ice cream and pre-made meals. She has so many ice cream flavours to choose from, and you won't be disappointed with whatever you pick. She posts her meals on facebook and they taste as good as they look!

Went for pie as Trip Advisor says they have the best pie in Alberta but they were sold out so we had ice cream instead. Tasted great and loved the decor and atmosphere.

We have bought Tasty Bakery buns for years. We would make a special trip as buns were the best. When new owners took over, we were reassured that the recipe wouldn’t change. Sad to say it has. Buns are now smaller, dry, and have lost their flavor. Also bought some long Johns, which were also dry. Very sad that this has changed. Will be looking for a new bun supplier.

I have been shopping at tasty bakery for 3 years now. My family has always enjoyed their buns and breads. Recently management has changed and many times when I go in, the bread and buns are not fresh. Its not uncommon to see bread that is already 2 days old or older. I don't make an extra stop at the bakery for 2 day old bread. I want fresh bread made that day. I often ask if there is fresh bread. Sometimes they will give me some off a shelf behind counter and sometimes none is available. I truly hope tasty bakery can manager their inventory to have fresh bread daily or sadly they will be losing my business. Best of luck.

I stopped by Tasty Bakery this eveing to grab some bread, and while I was there, a few customers were yelling at the staff for no good reason. They were super rude, pointing fingers, raising their voices, just being really aggressive. I saw them scanning the little Google review sign, and I had a feeling they were about to leave some nasty reviews, so I wanted to share my side. Tasty Bakery has always been our go-to place. We've ordered so many cakes from here and they’ve always been super tasty and looked amazing. The staff have always been friendly and helpful whenever I’ve been in. It’s really not fair to see people blaming the staff when they were clearly being mistreated. The behavior of those customers was completely unacceptable, and I hope others don't misunderstand the situation based on their biased comments.

We love this little bakery and visit whenever we’re in Red Deer. On our last visit, we got this AMAZING fruitcake that was a delight, chock full of fruit and so unbelievably moist. We will make an effort to stop here EVEN MORE around the holidays to get this rich treat!!!

The BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN!! The cutest little shop and the friendliest owner and staff! They make a point to know your name! We have been dreaming of this since! Cant wait to go back! The eggs were so fluffy and soft as was the bagel! Not your heavy, tough usual bagel. Light and fluffy! And the sauce… omg!! Soooo good!! Check this place out!

Recently visited during their one year anniversary. Marianne is an amazing baker and business owner. They have added outdoor seating and have such a good variety of to go meals and delicious desserts.

They have a different type of breakfast sandwich each day. Fresh ingredients fresh bread good seasoning. Just delicious. They serve great coffee and the staff have always been kind and helpful every visit.

I come here so often sometimes they call me and my friend the breakfast boys I don't know how proud of that I am but the food and coffee here is real good 👍

Quite literally the best experience for an amazing breakfast and delicious coffee. We sat on the little patio outside and enjoyed the warmth of the morning sun and the cool September air. The service came with genuine warmth and a smile. They are taking a step above the average coffee shop, a large step!

Amazing local gluten free and vegan bakery/eatery. Feeling very happy to find this local gluten free business within walking distance from my place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff for all things gluten free and vegan. Cute eating area. Great variety of baking, sandwiches, soups and daily special items. I am looking forward to savoring the experience of eating my way through the entire menu over the months to come!

Went here for gluten free lunch and sweet treats on Nov 15. The customer service and friendliness of all of the staff was next to none that we have seen before. If only all businesses took example of how they operate! And the gluten free food we had was fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced! Panini was A+++. My wife loved all of the gf baking she bought to take home. We will definitely try and stop here whenever in Red Deer!

One of the BEST places to get food in Central Alberta. The baked treats are DELICIOUS, and the lunch items are absolutely AMAZING. The salads, soups, and bowls make eating healthier a DELIGHT! Always my first choice for lunch and for treats for special events.

It's been a while since I've had an opportunity to venture to Penhold,AB to enjoy one of, if not the best cheesecake makers in Alberta. The cheesecakes are gluten free, and taste absolutely amazing. The service is also great, they will help you out with most requests given a reasonable timeframe. I've not had any of the other wonderful items available at Grace Alyse Sweets but they are opening a 2nd location in Red Deer and this will give me an opportunity to try more! Thanks for being great!

I’ve been looking for a place that accommodates both vegan and gluten free needs and I have found it! The people that helped me were very friendly and had lots of information about all the food, drinks and treats. It was a very pleasant experience and the iced London Fog Latte was delicious! The brownie was super tasty too! I will be back

I ordered two cheesecakes from Grace Alyse for a staff event and they were delicious! The white chocolate raspberry had beautiful fresh raspberries and the turtle was amazing. Can't wait to order from Grace Alyse Sweets again!

I ordered 6 chocolate confetti cupcakes for my birthday as my husband and I are currently trying a restricted diet for IBS, no dairy, no gluten! I thought my birthday would be filled with tasteless, hard gluten/dairy free cake :( but luckily I found in the mix cupcakes! They were SO delightful and tasted just like real cupcakes! I highly recommend! All my friends were inpressed they were gluten/dairy free because they tasted so good!

I love her cupcakes so much my favourites are rootbeer and maple bacon. The texture is perfect and the taste is fantastic and they are so healthy she even made mine nut free because I’m allergic to nuts. She’s so sweet amazing cupcakes!!!

I ordered gf df cupcakes for my daughter's 40th birthday. She has a ton of allergies & she made sure of all her allergies before making these delicious cupcakes. I’m not thrilled with my $8 peanut buster parfait. You would think there would be enough hot fudge that I could enjoy it. After we received it, we even asked for some more hot fudge on it, the lady through the window was shocked I was asking. My mom also got a peanut buster parfait and it looks identical. I’m not impressed, won’t be coming back here.

Never had a blizzard with so little filling in it from Amy other diary queen. And I've never had onion rings that were given to me slimey and wet. Oct 24 at 630pm. Don't go here

The food was not great. The fries tasted old and were very very oversalted. There was a long wait and the cone we ordered was forgotten until we reminded them. The dining room had a lot of loud disruptive people in it. We ended up taking everything to go because we just weren't comfortable.

I wanted to share some observations from my visit to your store. Unfortunately, everytime I visited the store I noticed that the staff seemed a bit unfriendly and not smile during our interaction. My daughter, who is 9 years old, even commented, “They sound like they don’t like their job.” I truly hope that management will address this, as I frequently visit your store because my daughter loves the DQ ice cream, and it’s conveniently located near us. I look forward to a more positive atmosphere next time, with smiles and good vibes from the staff. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

We tried to make an order at 10:15pm, the cashier working the window said she didn’t want to make a chicken order as the closed in 15 minutes we were about to spend at least $70 with them, I know if Hamills found out they would be very unhappy and as an owner of a local business and money is money weather your staff want to make the meal or not. Ridiculous in my books!

4 young people working front and only 1 doing their job. The rest gossiping and the one lady too busy flirting with her (assuming) boyfriend who was at the front the whole duration that we were there. Took the kids out for dinner and stood in an empty line for a few minutes before the young man asked if we were helped. Ordered and got the food. Went back up after to get my kids their ice cream cones and stood there for 10 minutes with no one in line and not an ounce of acknowledgement. The young man was busy running around getting ice creams and such for drive thru. . 3 ladies just standing there gossiping and whispering to one another. Not the first time we had issues with service when it’s just a bunch of kids working. But will be the last as we have no intentions on ever returning to that location.

One of the worst experience ever I had here because I am a Uber Driver I do a Uber eats a lot of times and when i came over here I have ordered about a drink but the service girl I don’t know her name But seriously she need a bag for a drink. Wow what a girl then see give me a drink in my hand. I don’t know why like she did not give me an Trey lol one of the worst service ever I saw in my life over here. I never recommend anyone to came in this Dairy Queen.

I usually don’t mind waiting a little, but this time was frustrating. I had to wait over 10 minutes without any acknowledgment or update, which felt like I was being completely ignored. No one said anything, no apology, nothing. If your service is running behind, just communicate—it makes a big difference. Sadly, this kind of service makes me think twice about coming back.

Went to Dairy Queen the last couple nights. Got bad service both times. The cashiers weren’t friendly. Gave my mom and I dirty looks. We’re very rude about telling us they were closing the one night. Asked for a blizzard tonight that they didn’t have. Asked if they could recommend something similar they said no. Said they had everything for the Superman blizzard besides the cake batter. That’s like 95% of the blizzard? Went in another night and they didn’t have another product I asked for. What’s with advertising something you have no inventory for? The employee this evening in the drive-thru was cranky especially after we asked for a napkin with our ice cream. I appreciated the single napkin. What happened to customer service? The Blizzard was also like water tonight...should have asked for a straw.

Ordered a litre of soft ice cream at the drive thro'. $7.35 and wondering why all the others only charge $7.00. May not seem like much but 35 cents times how many dozen customers is lots. I will keep going to Deer Park. They treat me good and price is better.

Dairy Queen in Pines Plaza had really good food. Our family ordered chicken strip baskets, a banana split and a hot fudge sundae :) But their washrooms need some tending. The one toilet in the women's washroom was pretty lose and rickety. And the soap dispenser fell apart when I tried to use it. The men's washroom was also in need of some repair and TLC.

Went there tonight order was extremely slow, screwed up my order and did not seem to care now. I have something that I paid for that. I do not want so essentially a waste of money and my personal opinion extremely careless staff.

Been out of the brownie cupfection for months. No signs or nothing, just a person every time saying "hopefully next time you come" its been since April. Then we tried to order something else that was on the menu only to be told they dont make it anymore for this summer. Maybe take it down if you can't make it. Or at least put up a gosh darn sign

I really like that this Tim Hortons has a spot to park bicycles (it’s the first one I’ve seen with that! 😊 However, there aren’t enough tables and chairs, and my son had to grab a table quickly before we couldn’t find any place to sit. We ordered three Ice Caps and enjoyed them. The only problem was that several customers couldn’t use the washroom. The door code didn’t seem to work, so maybe the lock was broken or tricky to open. Overall, I liked the place, but it would be great if they fixed the bathroom code issue and added more seating.

The staff are friendly and efficient, and they made sure my order was perfect. I had an iced capp and a grilled cheese both fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is well maintained. One of the best Tim Hortons spots in Red Deer!

Ordered a toasted bagel through the drive through and it was super quick. Less than 10 second wait. And I know why… it was in the toaster for 5 seconds. Didn’t cut it either. I’ll go elsewhere in the mornings if you can’t even toast a bagel 😂 I will say the window staff were friendly.

I recently had a very unpleasant experience at this Tim Hortons location. The staff was rude and displayed discriminatory behavior. I had a promotional offer for $1 off an iced coffee with a donut through the app, but the scanner couldn’t read the barcode on my phone. Instead of offering helpful support, the staff member rudely handed me a tissue and told me to clean my screen. When the scan still didn’t work, she impatiently told me to wait, then without asking for my permission, she deducted my reward points and applied a discount. I wasn’t even given a choice or explanation. This kind of treatment is unacceptable—both the poor service and the disrespectful attitude. I’ve been a regular Tim Hortons customer, never coming back to this location.

I ordered a 2dozen donuts and take 12 coffee and had a really great experience.The customer service stood out: the cashier was so friendly, told me I could have a seat while waiting, and made sure I was informed that it might take a few minutes which I really appreciated. Despite being a bit busy, I even noticed how well they helped each other to keep things moving. My order was accurate and fresh. Great teamwork, friendly staff, and quality service.

I was at this location around 11.20 to be exact. I ordered a couple of steep teas because i was headed to a meeting, the order taker was rude, the lady working on the drinks was even more rude. First, took them soo long to prepare the order, then with an attitude we were giving out half of what we paid. And we weren't even given time to make sure we got all of them when the lady making drinks yelled at us to move for the next car, we had to come back for our missing orders again and when asked for receipt(which was not given initially unless asked), they started making bad faces and took about 5 minutes but still didn't provide any receipt. we had to leave in a hurry (which is why we took drive thru, cuz the service is expected to be fast but highly disappointed). by the time we left, all our drinks were cold, totally ruined our moods and we were late for our meeting as well!! never returning here! terrible service and rudeness in all employees including the managers!!

This my favorite coffee/lunch/treat shop in downtown Red Deer. They are amazingly friendly, it is a beautiful space, serve Fratello coffee and the treats/food are delicious. I am such I fan we ALSO hired them to do cakes for our wedding. Plural. Instead of flower centerpieces, we had cakes on each table and it was a HIT. Obviously, because they were DELICIOUS and gorgeous. I am such a fan of this business, the people that own it, and everything about it.
