Rose Villa Restaurant, Southern Table and Bar is a historic gem located in Ormond Beach, offering a unique dining experience in a building that dates back to the 1800s. Once a bed and breakfast, it was frequented by VIP visitors seeking privacy away from Henry Flagler's Ormond Hotel. The interior is adorned with pictures of past guests, providing a glimpse into the area's rich history.
Lovely dinner stop. Service was great. Quick actually with fantastic specials. Shrimp and grits felt like home. Really enjoyed this so much and wish we lived closer because I would be there once a week if I were local. Such a cute place. Perfect for date night or meeting friends.

The food was sooo great! Lobster Mac and cheese, Chicken pot pie and deviled eggs were bomb! Was a little put out by the parking as they had cones up into their parking lot so we couldn't park in there. We ended up parking along the street down a little ways. Will definitely go back again! Almost want to give 4 stars because of the parking, but...I won't. If you have to have reservations, there should be parking! Just saying. The parking lot wasn't being used for customers.

Rose Villa – A Truly Memorable Experience From the moment we arrived at Rose Villa, everything was absolutely wonderful. We chose to sit in the festive and romantic gazebo on the back porch, where we were treated to live music by Rex, an incredibly talented musician. Rex is not only gifted with his guitar but also a true gentleman—warm, personable, and full of authentic wisdom. His presence made our brunch feel extra special. Our server, Sarah, deserves her own standing ovation. Hailing from Valdosta, Georgia, she embodied true Southern hospitality from start to finish. Attentive, kind, and full of charm, Sarah elevated the entire dining experience with her genuine care and warm personality. And then, of course, the food—simply amazing! The chef has crafted unique takes on classic favorites that will leave you wanting more. The deviled eggs, topped with pork belly and a sweet pepper medley, were a showstopper. My avocado toast with a perfectly poached egg was fresh and flavorful, while my wife’s crab Benedict was another absolute hit. If you’re visiting Daytona or Ormond Beach—especially if you’re with someone you love—make sure to stop by Rose Villa for Sunday brunch. Between the incredible food, the unforgettable atmosphere, Rex’s soulful music, and Sarah’s outstanding service, it’s more than just a meal—it’s an experience you’ll treasure. We will absolutely be back every time we’re in town!

What a gem! We made a quick detour for lunch while heading north to Jacksonville and chose Rose Villa because it was dog-friendly — and wow, what an incredible find! From the moment we called to confirm we could bring our pup, the experience was truly 5-star. The entire staff was so welcoming, and the chef even came out with a bowl of shredded chicken just for our dog — such a thoughtful touch! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the deviled eggs were AMAZING! The specialty cocktails were also yummy, yummy! We sat out back in the beautiful gazebo, but I also took a moment to explore the historic building inside — what a fun place! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area (or even slightly off course). Totally worth it!

I Love this restaurant, especially the decor and history of it! Staff is very pleasant, food is always great. Nice restaurant if you want to get dressed up for a special occasion, Birthday, Anniversary. There are so few places around like this such a treasure. So Leave your baseball caps and shorts/flip-flops home this is a place to shine up a bit and enjoy a special night out.

Rose Villa is one of our favorite places to go in Ormond. It continuously impresses in all areas, food is always delicious and prepared to near perfection, service is polite, and the atmosphere is really warm/cozy with a laid back elegant southern charm. One of us always gets the fried chicken, but we've also tried many other things from the menu (Sea Bass, Filet, Pork Chop, Deviled Eggs, Beet salad) and everything has been as good as it could be. To top it all is some really nice drinks including an Old Fashion with candied bacon and some deserts that are usually enough for at least 2 and are delicious.
Rod E — Google review
My husband and I were looking for a special place to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. I remembered a friend telling us about RoseVilla and we just had to go see what it was all about. Talk about Southern Hospitality wrapped up with some of the BEST southern food you could ask for! We were treated like royalty and to a dessert to celebrate with! We will definitely return! Thank you Patrick, Greg and the rest of the RoseVilla Family for making our day special!

We visited for brunch a while back, loved it, and returned for dinner now. Outside seating can be a bit loud during bike week. The inside is absolutely stunning, with turn of century dining rooms downstairs, and a 1920s speakeasy bar upstairs.

31 Supper Club is an upscale dining venue located in Ormond Beach, Florida. The restaurant offers a traditional setting with 1930s art deco decor and provides a unique experience with live music, dancing, and comedy on select nights. It serves a variety of steak and seafood dishes along with specialty cocktails. The establishment also features artwork by Frederick Dana Marsh, paying tribute to the local area's history.
I celebrated my birthday at 31 Supper Club with 26 friends and family members, and it was an unforgettable night! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making everyone feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious—every single guest complimented their meal. Dana and Sharon are truly talented entertainers with amazing energy. They created such a fun, vibrant atmosphere and made sure to acknowledge every celebration in the room. We ate, sang, danced, and laughed all night long. Thank you to the entire team at 31 Supper Club for helping make my birthday so special. Highly recommend!

Such a retro restaurant with delicious food and fantastic music. The band played non-stop all throughout our dinner. We were a part of 8 and our table was right in front of the band. Most large parties sit in the back. This place had fantastic seating throughout the restaurant though. Definitely get for date nights too as the dancing was spectacular. Cocktails were delicious and the service was excellent.

Our group of 23 had well planned for reservations on a Monday evening dinner @6:30. We arrived and I liked the vibe of the space. Seating is comfortable, they have different seating options, an indoor and outdoor bar. There was no live entertainment on Monday night but there were stage areas inside and out and I can see this being a really fun place. Our drink orders were taken promptly and arrived a short time later. The same person did also take our dinner orders and they had agreed to do individual checks prior to our arrival (and got the check right including drink orders at the end of the night). Where there was a breakdown was after our dinner orders were placed. Food arrived to the group over a 40 minute window. My steak had been cooked perfectly but had dried out being kept warm. The expensive fish was an increasingly small portion. The presentation on the plates was excellent but it seemed the kitchen had been overwhelmed. It was almost over three hours later when our checks arrived and we all avoided dessert because of the fear of a long wait. We also don’t know what happened to our original waitress who we never saw after taking drink orders.

31 Supper Club is an absolute gem! The food is incredible. The lobster mac and cheese to die for. Their cocktails are creative and delicious! I decided to try something different, after all its not every day you hear of a ceaser Salad Martini! Ceaser Salad Martini! It was awesome! Good bye dirty martinis! I also had a toasted marshmallow Martini, superb! The service is off the charts. Every single need was there before I even had to ask. My car was waiting for me at the exit when I left, doors open, valet helping me in, world class service. Truly an all around top notch experience.

We were in town for work and popped in based on dinner and music posts. We came in on a Wednesday which wasn't very busy, but we were sold with the service. Maria is a gem and she deserves all the accolades. She provided A+ service and had all the best recommendations. We ended up staying for music on the patio and loved the entertainment. Sharon's energy was palpable. All the staff were hustling and providing a great experience. Bonus was that it's a cigar friendly patio. We ended up back another night just for apps and drinks because my husband is a cigar aficionado and not many places are friendly. Come check out this hard working team!
S M — Google review
This is probably my favorite dinner theater ever! The decor of the place screams early 1930's... There's a small cast of characters that introduce themselves and setup a murder mystery premise while you order your food and wait for it to arrive... Then, one of the cast gets murdered, and each separate table discusses amongst themselves who might be the culprit... as the actors wander around and interact with the guests and have their own show-related dramas for all to witness as they're eating.... and then at the end, each table tries to guess "who done it", and all the tables get prizes for participating. It was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!

Great atmosphere at 31 Supper Club in Ormond Beach! The live music and dining made for a perfect night out. Maria was our waitress and she was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Loved the cigar-friendly patio, too. Highly recommend!

The Supper club has a beautiful ambiance and a well-executed design concept. Our server was very knowledgeable about the bar menu and recommended several amazing drinks. We only ordered an appetizer — the Creole bacon-wrapped shrimp. The shrimp were well-cooked and flavorful, though the dish lacked the Creole spice and boldness I was expecting. We didn’t end up ordering a main dish since the venue was quite busy. It seemed they were a bit understaffed, especially considering the special guest they were hosting that evening. I plan to return soon and hope to try some menu items that caught my eye

Seafood restaurant
Nestled along the Halifax River and Tomoka State Park, RiverGrille on the Tomoka is a sprawling restaurant known for its scenic riverfront deck and Florida seafood with a Cajun twist. The menu features delectable dishes like Jambalaya and Shrimp & Grits, complemented by fresh cocktails. Visitors rave about the fantastic views from the outdoor seating area and pier, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious food while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
I am impressed with this establishment. Amazing huge parking lot. I parked all the way on the back to enjoy my walk. Looks like a dock that was made into a restaurant huge alligator outside greeting its visitors. Inside is very relaxing atmosphere with great decorative details. The most freshest food ever. Great variety of drinks which I had few of those. For two people the bill was about 100$ for this place I agree it’s so worth it.

We had a great experience at RiverGrille on the Tomoka! Be prepared.. on weekends, especially with a larger group, there’s usually a bit of a wait (we had about 40–50 minutes for a party of 10), but the atmosphere makes it easy to pass the time. We grabbed drinks and an appetizer from the bar and enjoyed them out on their beautiful boardwalk, which overlooks the water. It was a relaxing start to the evening and the kids had a blast feeding the fish and even spotting a gator! Once seated, the restaurant handled our group of 8 adults and 2 kids with ease. The service was friendly and efficient. The food and drinks were solid overall. Flavorful and fresh. Just a heads-up: some dishes that were labeled as “mild” packed more heat than expected, like the wings and jambalaya. So if you’re spice-sensitive, it might be worth confirming with the server first. All in all, a fun, family-friendly spot with great views, a lively vibe, and accommodating staff. We’d definitely come back!

Adult party of two. Both entries were very good. I had the bourbon salmon and it was really good. Their hush puppies were the best I've ever had and serve with a dipping sauce instead of butter. Waitress had a dry attitude but she was friendly enough. The atmosphere was unique. Overall the staff were friendly. Nice scenery as well.
Ms. M — Google review
This restaurant is in a beautiful location right by the water. The service was great and my mojito was delicious! The only reason why I am giving them a 4 on the food is because one of the meals wasn't on point (Key Lime Chicken & Shrimp). The portion was very small and the rice and beans tasted odd. Nevertheless, I still recommend this place because the other meals were delicious, but keep in mind that the portions can be a bit small. Enjoy!
Faby F — Google review
We had a waiter named Nick and he was adorable and super attentive. We set Outdoors on the massive multi-level deck and enjoyed the breeze. I had the fish and chips which was not too heavy and a side of hush puppies which were probably the best I've ever had. My mom had the grilled fish Tacos in the red beans and rice and enjoyed everything. Will definitely be back here the next time we're in town!
Molly A — Google review
The River Grille on the Tomoka is a sprawling restaurant with a big riverfront deck and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It specializes in Florida seafood with a Cajun twist and has a fun, lively ambiance. The outdoor deck is dog-friendly, and even on a rainy day we stayed dry thanks to the powered shades they lowered to block the rain. The only downside is the noise from the nearby bridge, when motorcycles go by, it really carries across the deck. The inside has a rustic, sawmill feel with driftwood chandeliers, life preservers on the wall, and a small gift shop near the entrance with T-shirts and other items. There’s also a large bar area and multiple dining rooms, plus a big parking lot, so space isn’t an issue. The restaurant was clean, well-kept, and had good energy. We started with the Onion Strings, marked as a “Tomoka Favorite.” They were tasty, with a light batter, but a little greasy—best eaten with a fork unless you don’t mind messy fingers. For drinks, I asked about the rotating beer selection and they had a Marzen on tap, which was served nice and cold at the right temperature. The wine list is short, but they do have a set of cocktails. For mains, I had the fish sandwich with the catch of the day which was trout, cooked Cajun-style. The whole filet, skin-on, came on the bun with lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. It was a lot of food, though I personally wasn’t a fan of the skin being left on for a sandwich. My wife ordered the Smokehouse Sampler with ribs, wings, and pulled pork. She chose the Carolina Gold sauce, which leaned very sweet, more so than vinegary. The ribs were a little tough, but the portions were generous and the flavors solid. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. I think they usually have live music on weekends, though the rain canceled that during our visit. Overall, the River Grille offers a fun setting, solid food, and good service. It’s especially worth it when the weather is nice and you can take advantage of the river views. For me, it’s a 4/5 stars: recommended, with just a few small complaints holding it back from perfect.
Joseph P — Google review
What a great dining experience outside on their huge covered deck overlooking the Tomoka River. Thanks Kylie for the Fish n Chips recommendation it was delicious and enormous.
LISA W — Google review
Love sitting outside along the river. The food is always good. I've had several seafood dishes, clam chowder, gator, pork sandwich, etc. and they were all delicious. The only item I didn't like was a side of green beans, they were over cooked and pretty soft, but they always provide great service so I'm sure if I had asked for something else they would have readily done it. But there is always plenty of food since the servings are always a decent size. I love the Cajun seasoning, it has great flavor without bring overly spicy.

Had a wonderful time for dinner here, the food was delicious, the drinks were made great, and the dessert was tasty! If I had one complaint it would be we did have to wait for what felt like a bit too long to see ours server to take our drink orders and for the price of this place I would expect a bit more prompt attention. Overall though I would go again and would recommend it.

Nice location. Food and service not so great. Austin our server didn’t offer or bring bread, all the other tables had bread brought out. Our table was “in the way” of traffic and everytime someone walked by they bumped the chair. The Kimchee Calimari was not anything kimchee, just fried, oily heavily breaded calimari and red peppers. Although they DO give a big portion. The spicey Ahi was ok. Really bland and not enough creamy wasabi. Couldn’t even cut the bok choy with the butter knife I had. And rice was plain sticky rice. No flavor. The stuffed sole was a nice presentation and my husband loved it. Probably won’t go back.
Cory P — Google review
Me, my wife and best friends ate there Sunday evening. It was 730 and the place was pretty empty. Our server was Emily she was pleasant and professional. She took the time to bring my friend 2 samples of wine so he could make a choice. 👍. We all ordered a cocktail 🍸and they were good. I was the only one to order an appetizer and selected the beet salad. The portion was large and very good and beautifully plated. My friend ordered the 9oz Fillet Mignon and Emily said that the chimicurrie butter came on the side. The steak arrived with the butter poured over the steak and he did not enjoy the flavor. This dish was sent back👎. His wife ordered the Halibut and the fish was over cooked and dry 👎. This dish was sent back. My wife and I ordered the Seabass and lobster risotto and it was cooked to perfection 👍. At this point we had finished our first round of cocktails and it took us about 10 minutes or more to flag down someone to find Emily so we could order some more beverages 👎. The refired steak came out and my friend thought that they only cooked a 7oz vs the 9oz that he ordered👎. His wife's Halibut came out cooked to perfection 👍. . So then this woman came over to our table and apologized for the mistakes with the food. We had to ask her who she was. She identified herself as the manager. She was poorly underdressed for a high end restaurant like the chart house. There was no offer like free desert or drinks to make up for the poor performance in the kitchen. We then ordered two desserts that we shared. The chocolate lava cake, and the Mud pie which were great. Overall we were surprised by some of the cooking and service, It's not like the restaurant was busy, it was pretty empty. It is a beautiful restaurant with great views. I would give it another try, everyone has a bad day.

I love the Chart House. The food, the atmosphere, is spot on. Only doing this visit was due to 12 guests waiting 1.5 hours for food. We arrived at 5pm, ordered at 6pm and served at 7:30pm - but I had a wonderful birthday dinner and loved all of it. A couple ladies weren't pleased but the staff made it right in the end. That's what matters. It was a great birthday visit for me.

*Updated* This was our second visit to Chart House in the last month—and if that doesn’t say enough, let me make it clearer: this place is exceptional. Every dish we’ve had has been a knockout, and the only downside is that I always forget to take photos before diving in. That’s just how good the food is. We live our lives on the water, and with my husband also being a commercial fisherman, it’s not easy to impress us when it comes to seafood. But Chart House has no trouble making our mouths water. They absolutely nail it. We started with the crab cakes and coconut shrimp—both 5/5 and full of flavor. For dinner, the NY strip with mashed potatoes and horseradish sour cream was cooked to perfection, and the Key West grouper was melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service is consistently top-tier. The male waitstaff has been phenomenal—attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Management is clearly involved and makes sure everything runs smoothly. You feel well taken care of from start to finish. Chart House has definitely earned its spot as one of our go-to restaurants. Highly recommend.

If you have Landry’s Select Club rewards like us, you too can enjoy the downstairs bar area at a couch table, enjoy gourmet apps, a glass of wine and a draft beer, and good service for cheap. On this visit, we met up with friends who are also Select Club members and had a birthday reward as well. Fitting the four of us at the cute little cocktail low-top by the couch was tight, especially when switching out multiple plates for appetizers. Our server was excellent with timing the food and drinks, taking away empties, and letting us enjoy our fellowship without being intrusive. I ordered the Thai lettuce wraps and the ahi tuna wontons. The wraps are a little messy on a small table, but the variety of sauces was delicious, if not a little salty for my taste. The sashimi-style tuna apps were also delicious. Washed it all down with a Goose Island IPA draft and we’re good to go. Afterwards, we went out on the dock to take pictures by the water with the sun setting in the background. Good photos. I recommend Chart House in Daytona Beach, especially for Landry’s Select Club members to enjoy their birthday rewards for good value.
Zik J — Google review
Foodies, listen up — Chart House in Daytona Beach isn’t just dinner, it’s an experience. The kind of place where the view, the food, and the vibe all come together so perfectly that you’re already planning your next visit before dessert even hits the table. We kicked things off with the Kimchi Calamari and, honestly, it set the bar high. Crispy, a little spicy, packed with flavor — it’s the appetizer that makes you lean over the table and say, “Oh, you HAVE to try this.” Then came the mains. The Chicken Balsamico is basically comfort food in a tuxedo — romano crusted, topped with artichoke bruschetta and pesto butter, sitting pretty on Florentine mash. The Hawaiian NY Strip Medallions were like a tropical vacation on a plate: pineapple ginger marinade, mango sticky rice, soy glaze, fruit salsa… sweet, savory, and downright addictive. And the Slow Roasted Prime Rib? Classic, juicy, perfectly cooked — the kind of dish that makes you want to slow clap for the chef. Even the salads pull their weight here — Caesar, chopped, or salad bar, they’re all fresh enough to make you feel slightly less guilty about that second entrée. We wrapped things up with Crème Brulee (crackly top, velvety inside) and Lemon Sorbet (bright, refreshing, palate-cleansing perfection). Add in stellar service and those floor-to-ceiling Halifax River views, and it’s the kind of night that lingers with you. Pro tip: come hungry, bring friends who love to share plates, and don’t skip dessert. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later. 🍽️🔥

Great little donut place. They only have cake donuts, but they were very good. They had lots of flavors and toppings. They do serve coffee drinks as well. I just had a regular coffee, and it was good. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend you stop in and try a donut.

Donnie's Donuts - They said you have to visit this place next time you are in the area. Well we stopped in last week and picked up several dozen donuts to take back to the hotel and enjoy. Donuts are good and they have lots to choose from in their lineup. My favorite was the maple bacon with my coffee. The grandkids loved the fruity pebbles donuts with chocolate milk on the beach. I really wished they just had a plain blueberry without all the sugar on it as the cake part was amazing with that donut but way to much sugar. Do stop by and give them a try for yourself if in the area. They have 3 locations to serve you.
RICHARD B — Google review
We have an excellent donut shop where we live, so we are harsh critics when it comes to donut shops. Most all other donut shops are disappointing, because they just don't compare in taste or selection. This is a very simple, but cute, modern donut shop. The donuts are actually quite delicious! I wish we wouldn't have waited until our last day to try them! The strawberry shortcake donut was to die for, and the hot chocolate is worth a try. You can even design your own donut, and they will make it exactly how you want it, so the donut options are endless. The staff was helpful, and friendly. We will have this place on our list of stops during our next trip to the Daytona beach/Ormond area. Donnie's Donuts live up to their "Vintage donut, modern charm" slogan for sure. Such a cute place. This place is also accessible from the road behind the shop, and in front of the shop, and there is plenty of parking. No indoor dining at this time still due to C-19, but there are a few picnic tables outside open for use.

Oh my goodness! The donuts here are just as delicious as they are beautiful and unique! I got 3 for my husband’s birthday breakfast and we are over the moon! Butter beer donut and Velvet Queen iced coffee was amazing! We are only here for 3 days and we will be back tomorrow for breakfast. If you are in the Ormond beach area do yourself a favor and sample this gem!

Isn’t Daytona the luckiest?! It has the best donut shop in the country. I freakin love this place. I first tried their donuts in 2016 when I was visiting from NYC, now I am back in 2018 and I had to get my husband to drive an hour away from our place to get me these. They aren’t like your regular gross looking donuts at Dunkin’ or any other bakery shop. The dough in these is amazing! Then they have every freaking choice available you can think of. Don’t believe those that say it is expensive, it is not! 2 delicious donuts for less than $4?!, and or those that say it doesn’t taste good, the taste is amazing! Trust me, you’ll love them. Plus the staff is super kind, and the owner herself has served us both times we’ve been, and we feel treated with a lot of respect every time, because she is very kind and informative. I wish they had more locations, because it is far from us to get to, but every time we go we get 12 and finish them in a day or two. Hands down, the best donut shop!!!

Best donuts in Ormond Beach, best in Volusia County, in fact I'd put these up against any in the state and I'm confident they'd top the list. They're cake donuts, with very creative toppings I go for the vegan donuts, served on Friday and Saturday only. Friendly service too, plus it's a great family owned business.

Chicken wings restaurant
Restaurant
Bethune Grill is a down-to-earth chicken wings restaurant serving fried seafood and other familiar American grub. The honey sauce is a fan favorite, and the regular buffalo wings are also highly rated. While it can be difficult to get a table due to the long line, the food is worth waiting for.
Today I was in Daytona and decided to stop at Bethune Grill. I was going to go as soon as they opened but didn’t go until around 4pm and they had run out of chicken so I got the tenders meal which was just as delicious. But the real winner of the day was the bread pudding. I hadn’t had this since my mom passed in 1997. My mom’s birthday was Friday and I feel like she touched whoever made this bread pudding because it taste like the heaven my mom is rejoicing in right now! Thank you for giving me a taste of home! Everything was 10/10!!! And Auntie at the register is beautiful!!🤩

First time visiting Bethune Grill and must say we enjoyed it. The wings were seasoned good and I loved the honey hot. Also, the fries were hot and cooked just right. Not a fan of the shrimp. They taste like the ones you buy from the freezer section in a grocery store but once we dipped in the sauce they were ok. The service was really good as they greeted us when we entered and even made suggestions as it was our first time. As always see for yourself!

Recently renovated , love the new vibe, love the new sitting area with umbrellas !!! Workers were so nice, FOOD WAS AMAZING. Best wings and SHRIMP I’ve ever had. Definitely a must if you’re in Daytona!
Rachel W — Google review
Some of the best wings I ever had crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Always the same every time we come. The desserts will make you slap your grandma lol. Bread pudding and the key lime cake is delicious also.
Tessa C — Google review
Whewww baby! Bethune Grill did NOT disappoint! I pulled up and got the honey hot wings with fries and babyyyyy they were bussin’ for real. The wings were crispy on the outside but juicy inside, and that honey hot sauce was perfect…sweet with a lil kick, just how I like it. They weren’t stingy with the sauce either, it was dripping just right. The fries? Fresh, hot, and not no frozen dry fries either…they gave me real deal potato fries that actually had some flavor to ‘em. Now let me tell y’all about the strawberry cake… I ain’t even get a chance to snap a pic because I tore it up as soon as I opened it 😂 it was soft, moist, and had that fresh strawberry flavor like somebody auntie made it back there with love. The spot is chill, service was fast, and the food hit EVERY time. This place is a whole vibe, and I’ll definitely be back. If you haven’t been to Bethune Grill get There ‼️

The wings are the best I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection! Not to soft or to hard but just right and crispy, Love them! Customer service always good, such beautiful, friendly smiles. This is family own business that has existed for years, to be in and stay in business this long! “They have to be doing Everything Right”! They have generational customers = Grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren who are their loyal customers! BG keep up the great work, service and food! We (your customers) love you all.

Amazing food. Wings are cooked and seasoned well.
Kirsten R — Google review
We had buffalo wings, honey buffalo wings, and buffalo shrimp, along with a large fry — and wow, they give you a lot of fries! Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The wings were perfectly cooked, and the honey buffalo sauce had just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Great food and generous portions — we’ll definitely be back!

Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory is a delightful destination for chocolate lovers. Established in 1925 and using original recipes, the factory offers free guided tours where visitors can witness the chocolate-making process and indulge in complimentary samples. The company's unique chocolate products come in various shapes such as alligators, conch shells, dolphins, and sand dollars. A visit to this charming factory promises a sweet experience for both children and adults alike.
Out visiting the area of Daytona Beach, our group of four spotted an ad in area guide for Angel & Phelps Chocolate Factory tours, so we decided to check it out. What a wonderful place. The smells permeate the area with fond memories of past birthdays and holidays. We were greeted and given a brief tour and allowed to observe the different sides of chocolate making, different products. There were postings of the history of the factory and notes about chocolate making. So interesting but drooling was bad. Staff was very hospitable and welcoming and answered any questions we had. After the tour, we got to sample a couple pieces of chocolate. Yum! And then to look around for some to take with us back to resort. Sooo many choices and such a phenomenal variety of items. I had my eye on a White Chocolate Gator, but my wife steered me to smaller choices. A great way to spend 45 minutes between sites and get a great treat, Only problem is - I gained a pound just from the smells! ;-)

A very nice chocolate store located very centrally to the Jackie Robinson Ballpark and other shops. It's about 10 minutes from the Daytona Speedway and just before the bridge to the island. The ladies were so kind, patient and friendly. They have plenty of options available and they make their chocolate fresh daily! You can even watch the chocolate being made. Also the company has a Christian background which I absolutely love! Be sure to give them a visit and don't hesitate to ask for a sample or two!

We saw this Chocolate Factory online and decided to stop in before going back to our hotel. We were greeted by a warm and welcoming “hello” and she explained how the self guided tour worked and invited us to ask any her any questions we may have at the end. Such a cute and fun way to spend an afternoon! We purchased the thin mints, milk chocolate peanut butter cup, assorted saltwater taffy, and a “Large Sand Bag” which I have pictured and is a great gift. Everything is/was delicious and we will definitely be back when we are in the area next time.

This chocolate shop is a hidden gem, perfectly located just across from Riverfront Park and within easy walking distance. The moment you step inside, the smell of chocolate fills the air and immediately makes you hungry. They offer a wonderful variety of chocolates—milk, dark, white, and even sugar‑free options—so there’s truly something for everyone. If you’re in the area, this is the perfect spot to satisfy your chocolate cravings!

Wow!!! The staff made our experience even better. They can answer all your chocolate questions. This is not a candy store, it is all chocolate. And the chocolate tastes better than other places. They even had the Dubai chocolate that my kids were searching for.

Had high expectations when ordered a birthday cake from Liz since she had won Cake Wars, 3rd season on Food Network. I guess because it was only an 8" cake, it was not real important to her. I would NEVER had sent out a cake that looked like this cake. NO PRIDE IN THE DECORATION OF THE CAKE. I was actually embarrassed to put it out at the party for 25 people. The cake was not even centered on the round tray. I will include pictures with this review. Jennifer knew I was very unhappy with the appearance of the cake. Was told Liz, the owner would call me on Tue. Today is Sunday and still no call. Which did not surprise me at all. If she takes no pride in her work, why would she care if one customer, who only spent $105 on one of her beautiful (????) Cakes was happy or not!!! I did send a picture of the cake to Food Network so they could see the lack of pride in her everyday work. I crossed my fingers the cake would at least taste wonderful. It was very moist, however, the frosting was very gritty. Tasted like sugar not mixed in well. Several people commented on the gritty frosting. What a let down. And let her care less attitude was even more shocking. It is ashame because I really though it would be a top of the line cake. I see where she has received alot of 5 stars. Sure wish I had been able to give the 5 stars Just a telephone call would have made a difference. Very disappointed with Liz and her poor attitude. I could NEVER recommend her to anyone. There is a lady in St Augustine on A1A who makes beautiful cakes and very accomadating. Cakey Creation was not. I should have gone to the lady in St Augustine. Even though she has not won Cake Wars, her cakes are just as beautiful and she is such a kind lady. That is who I will be using in Nov. for my husband's surprise birthday party. You know, word of mouth is best form of advertising and worst form of advertising. Maybe Liz thinks she is just too good and what is one unhappy customer. Will never order a cake from her again. The cupcakes should have been a Red Flag. They don't even compare to the Cake Lady in St Augustine or Cami's Cupcakes. Her cupcakes are too sweet and the ratio of frosting to the cupcake is way too much. The only thing I can say good about Cakery Creation was her mini Key Lime Pies were wonderful. But when someone is as rude as she had been, I can live without the Key Lime Pie. Hate that this review is so negative, and one phone call could have changed everything. Would have at least shown she cared about one customer. Not shown me by her actions that as a customer, I did not matter!!!! As you can see they put the names of the 7 people whose birthdays we were celebrating on a board. No HAPPY BIRTHDAY on there. I gave the names on order. They were not put in order when I received the cake. You can see in second picture where cake was not even centered on round tray and looked like a 5 year old and cut the round circle out. The cake was ready to come off the round tray. So very very dissatisfied. And Jennifer was not really helpful when ordering the cake. Refused to have Happy Birthday written on the top! I understood she could not get a 7 names on cake, but no Happy Birthday. After I picked up the cake I called when I got home and expressed my disappointment and Jennifer was very rude. Tried to say cake probably was sliding in transit, which was not true. Hannah, who supposedly decorated cake packs experience and creativity. Which that should be up to Liz to train her. Again so very disappointed. Not only with cake but lack of interest from Liz.
Debbie L — Google review
I ordered a small gourmet cake, on the description it was white with a pink flower on top. And cupcakes with pink flowers on top. When I went to pick up the cake the flowers were all white as well as the cake And the flowers on the cupcake also white. The cake looked unfinished and with no color. Plain white cake with white flower and Some sort of cookies cookies on top. Not happy, it messed up my decorations. I will order from there again because the taste was delicious, but I will make a very precise description of what I want. I Will not go by the advertised picture, that was a failure!I asked the front desk and she tried to help, the lady in the back was a little rude, she said all cake color vary ( apparently mine was an absence of color) lol I will try to post a picture if the system allows me! totally disappointed if it wasn't because the cupcakes taste delicious I would have given them a 1! Ps: it only takes 5 min to call the customer and verify the color availability to make clients happy. Thanks for replying, the cake looked pretty, but not like the picture. I must say the taste was amazing 😉. I understand COVID makes things run things little different (trust me I’m a nurse).

Cakery Creation was the best choice we could have made for our wedding cake(s)! We really wanted to do cupcakes and one small cutting cake instead of one giant cake for our reception, and with Cakery you do not get standard, run-of-the-mill cupcakes, but rather beautiful artisan desserts. When we went for our tasting, the owner, Liz, was there to assist and answer any questions we had while we tasted and rated all 10 cupcake flavors. Each one was just as delicious as the last and we couldn't narrow it down...so we didn't! At Cakery, you can order any number each flavor of cupcakes to fit your needs, so we were able to order a selection of each flavor which helped ensure there was something for everyone. On the day of the wedding, the dessert table was set up beautifully. You can provide your own stands but we opted to rent theirs. The table looked beautiful and the layout of the various flavors was artfully done. Our guests had nothing but praise for how delicious the cupcakes were and our cutting cake was just as delicious! You will not be disappointed with your decision of having Cakery Creation as your cake and dessert vendor! :)

Finally, a cake that taste like it made with real quality ingredients! I am a discerning sweet eater that makes the time to go out of my way to get my cakes here. Visitors praise the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes them feel at home. The diverse menu offers an array of well-prepared dishes that cater to different tastes.
The food was amazing and the portions are hugh. It was Teresa’s birthday so we went there and they did not disappoint at all. I had the country fried steak and Teresa had the corn beef and cabbage. We had enough left over for at least 2 meals. The deserts are off the charts. On a scale of 1-10 for the food I would rate them a 20. Our server Melanie B and was a very attentive and friendly person. She helped make our dinning experience even better. The cost for our dinner and deserts were priced better than any restaurant in the Daytona Beach area. I highly recommend having a meal here. It is well worth it and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Melanie for a wonderful meal.

UPDATE: Made it back in today. Got the Rachel. Which is basically a rueben with pastrami. $18 is pretty steep for what I got. Check the picture. The ratio was just ok. Bread was a touch greasy. Flavor was there just barely. Not sure I'd get it again at that price. Got the half Pastrami. It was really good. Only thing was it meant Half meat on a whole sandwich. I just made it into a half sandwich!! No cheese was wild. Potato salad was good. Recommended

Tried them on Saturday afternoon. Wasn't very crowded. The service was quick and friendly. For what I believe is a northerner run restaurant, the sweet tea was perfect. I had the roast beef/pastrami combo sandwich which was good, not amazing or other adjective but good. Garbanzo bean sald also good. The fried pickles, I'll give a meh. Definitely, not what I hoped for with pickle in their name. The wife had the Philly cheese steak and rated it "okay but Charley's is way better." I can't comment on the desserts other than they look phenomenal. Overall, fair price, great service and average food.

Extremely Disappointing First Visit - No Food After Nearly an Hour My wife and I visited DB pickles for the first time ever about 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. We were greeted quickly and seated. I ordered a glass of water and my wife ordered sweet tea. Our drinks were given to us quickly as well as an item from the pickle bar for each of us. We placed our entree food order about 1:35 p.m. with the same waitress (waitress #1) that gave us our drinks and she took our menus. Everything was pleasant until this point. My wife and I talked with each other and watched other tables get filled in around us. A different waitress (waitress #2) approached our table and asked if we had already been helped. We told her yes we placed our order with a different waitress (waitress #1). We thought that was odd but brushed that off and continued our conversation. As the other tables that were seated well after us started getting their food, we looked at each other and then at our watches. It had been 30 minutes, and then 45 minutes, and then nearly 1 hour. Finally I stopped a different waitress (waitress #3) and asked where our original waitress was because we haven't seen her for nearly an hour. Both of our drinks were empty and my 7 month pregnant wife was very hungry at this point. Waitress #2 came back over and tried to take our order for food. It was at that point we decided we didn't want to continue being at that establishment and ask for our check for the sweet tea that was ordered. Waitress #4 and waitress #3 came over and told us they were going to comp our sweet tea for our troubles and offered us dessert to go "on the house". We were not interested in being there any longer and simply asked for our check. We stood at the cashier stand waiting for our check and overheard the waitresses talking from the back. We heard our original waitress (waitress #1) that we placed our order with stating it was her fault and that she got confused. Waitress #4 came back to the cashier stand and kindly offered again that the sweet tea would be free. I asked again how much a sweet tea cost and insisted I paid. Finally she agreed and gave me a receipt before we left the restaurant.

The food was good! The tragedy was there is no more pickle bar 😭 we came for that specifically. & found out there’s no longer a buffet style pickle bar. There is a bar, but it has about 6 options and you get one with your meal, put in a bowl by your server. You can try others for $1each which is reasonable, but it just stinks that there are fewer options and instead of getting to take a little of each to sample them all, you get a bowl of one type. I will be back to get takeout from the bakery most likely, but wouldn’t recommend specifically coming here if it’s because you’re a pickle lover like me.

UPDATE PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Well, where to begin? This place has really gone downhill. I must say it's been maybe more than 5 years since visiting this place. It used to be one of our favorites, and we were passing in the area again. We thought we would try it again. Big mistake. First, the staff: they're all extremely rude, and the prices are outrageous, and the atmosphere is dirty, and there are stains on the ceiling. Definitely not how I remembered it, and the place was pretty much empty, unlike in the past, when it would be absolutely packed, which must say something. After having my meal less than 30 minutes after, the food definitely did not sit well, and I felt sick the rest of the day. Should have read the other recent bad reviews and would have avoided it. Very, very disappointed and definitely will never be returning to D.B. Pickles. Well it looks like I won't have to they have permanently closed down, new owner ran it into the ground!
J F — Google review
This place has something for everyone with a large menu of a variety of foods. Even better, we have been here twice now and have tried different things, all of which have been very good. Service has been great, too. To top things off, they have an amazing selection of cookies, cakes, and whole pies! Something that adds to their uniqueness is their pickle bar, which has different types of pickles or salads with pickles. Instead of serving bread before your meals, just ask for something from the pickle bar!
Sherri C — Google review
It's been a little over five years since I've been here; the service and food are still great. This visit, I got the D.B Reuben, potato salad, and three bean salad for lunch. Staff member was asked for an ingredient list and stated she couldn't. We asked to see the container and she said she was unable. We asked her what the ice cream had in it or where it was made and she had no clue. This experience does not make me want to return, she was very unhelpful and somewhat rude.

The service was awful!!!! The two employees working were so weird and were more worried about taking to their friends that they forgot our order then were jerks to us about it. Then we got to witness the girl who was working talk about customers to her friends! What a joke. We live here btw- this is the third time we have come here and it has been this way. We’ve learned that it will always be this way. The young guy working on Sat afternoon is unbelievably disrespectful. None of items in the freezer for guests were dated so I’ll be letting the health department know.

Bakery
Pastry shop
The French Bakery & Pastry Shop in Ormond Beach offers a delectable variety of sweet breakfast items and dessert pastries. La Gourmandise, run by a French couple, has gained recognition for its freshly baked goods made from scratch. Since 1984, this award-winning bakery has been delighting locals with their selection of breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, quiches, and fruit tarts using the finest ingredients available.
If you're searching for authentic French bread and pastries, look no further — this place is a true gem! From pastries and tarts to éclairs and Napoleons, everything they offer is absolutely outstanding. I’ve ordered from here many, many times, and every experience has been consistently excellent, both in service and in flavor. The pastries are incredibly rich and decadent — most are so indulgent that I can barely finish one in a single sitting! Prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive, making it even easier to keep coming back. I’ll definitely continue to be a loyal customer!

I was in the area and have been to the bakery before and since I wanted something sweet decided to make it a stop. I wanted one of their raspberry croissants but they were already out of them. They still had a selection to choose from so I got a regular croissant, a coffee meringue, a linzer torte, a black forest cookie and a chocolate man cookie. My favorites were the flaky croissant, the linzer torte and the coffee meringue.

It’s like stepping into a Parisian patisserie! You have to try the fruit tarts, croissants, and eclairs. The delightful flavors & textures are proof of their authenticity.

I have been coming here for years. I love the smell the moment I walk in. Lori has always been so friendly to me, my fiancé and my sons. She has great customer service. The chocolate eclairs are to die for! They are my favorite! The fruit tarts are always so yummy and I love to have a few for my girlfriend’s when they come over or I go to their house. My sons love the different cookies they have, and try a new one every time. We highly recommend the French bakery for a sweet treat!

This bakery has some really nice pastries! The tarts and eclairs are amazing! The employees are super nice too. If they don't have what you need just ask. They make more!!! Highly recommended

Friendly service and delicious pastries. My child loved the chocolate raspberry bavarois, and I enjoyed the strawberry tart. The rainbow cookies were also tasty. I did enjoy the passionfruit eclair, but the passionfruit flavor was lacking. Overall, very tasty, friendly service, very reasonable prices—will definitely be back!

Delicious Ice cream with many flavor choices. I had Double Chocolate. Salesperson was very nice and offered spoon samples of some flavors.

The original Big Scoop was a great treat. Huge portions and reasonable prices. Our last trip was a disaster. The lady working there couldn’t get our order together and she charged us a ridiculous amount of money for 2 tiny scoops of ice cream in small styrofoam cups! We’ll be looking for a better place to get ice cream and won’t be going back there!
Marlon C — Google review
Went there one time it was pretty good. Went back today and lady was working. Their name says Big Scoops. She made the scoops with a cookie scoop not an ice cream scoop. Two tiny scoops for $4.00. The worst $8.00 I have ever spent on ice cream. Will not ever come back to this place again!!!! I even took a pic of how small they are that I thought I could post. I had to ask for whip cream and a cherry. Could you imagine how small it really was if it didn't have the whip cream and cherry? Big Scoops should have said tiny scoops.
S. M — Google review
This is probably the worst customer service I've ever received. The ice cream is extremely overpriced and the quality is poor. Inconsistent sizes and sour taste. The woman scooping was incredibly rude and appeared to not have time for us. She looked dirty. Her stomach was hanging out from under her crop top and she had very unkept fingernails. A man appeared from the back and asked me to move from the outside seating while I was eating the overpriced ice cream and proceeded to sit and light up a Virginia slim. I asked him if he was the owner of the run down rat trap, to which we replied yes. I told him good and I would never return.
Taylor P — Google review
I can't attest to the ice cream but the Nathan's hot dog was great. The person that prepped it and presented both hot dogs did a great presentation of the dogs. Wish I had got a picture of them. I was to hungry to take pictures, lol. Anyway, great deal. Get a hot dog with chips for $5.

New Management. Menu changed somewhat. Nice Lady that runs the place. I like Chili Dogs w/onions and a Root Beer. It is Open! I ate there yesterday 5/28/21. Google Maps is saying it's closed. Not So.
Patrick H — Google review
The customer service was terrible. The woman who took our order gave a half-second smile that had no hint of genuinity that made us wish we hadn't even come and given our service. On top of this, the orders took an unreasonable amount of time to accomplish. What should have been a fun experience was ruined by the bad attitude of the employee.

A true landmark in Destination Daytona. My family and i love coming here for their ice cream and their food. The thickest shakes around. Lee who works there is phenomenal and goes out of his way to make his cutomers happy.

Dairy Queen (Treat) is a delightful destination for ice cream lovers, specializing in soft-serve treats and signature shakes. This charming spot offers a unique experience, as it focuses solely on sweet indulgences without any food options. Visitors can enjoy their favorite frozen delights outdoors, making it an ideal stop on a warm day. The atmosphere is lively, especially during special events like free cone days when the lines may stretch down the street but move swiftly thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff.
So yesterday was free small cone day at Dairy Queen. This one was very crowded with a line all the to the street. The line moved very quickly, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They were probably busy like that all day, and they were still very friendly and happy to help. Good job 👏. The ice cream is always yummy. Cherry 🍒 dip cone for the win.
Tanya G — Google review
Nice workers, service and ice cream BUT this place needs the outside and inside cleaned from top to bottom. Outside is disgusting, ice cream melted on everything, sticky and tables filthy. Needs outside pressure washed and inside deep cleaned.
Lisa D — Google review
I don’t often leave reviews for the larger brands, but the service was exceptional. I wish I would’ve gotten the young man’s name, but he was friendly and took time to ensure Ingot exactly what I wanted. He even went above and beyond by double checking after I got what I ordered (I wanted more berries but wasn’t going to ask) but he could tell by looking at me. He was very kind to offer to add some berries to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. He also offered us water on this super hot day. Thank you for caring about the customer experience. We will definitely be back.

My Hot Fudge Sundae was Great! I watched them make a Milkshake for someone else & he turned it upside down Twice to show it was Extra Thick. Very Friendly Staff.

Great hot dogs with Chilli and cheese. I had my pomeranian with me, dog friendly! Gave Charlie two treats, he loved them!
Julie S — Google review
When it says treat, there's no food.Just ice cream. That was a big surprise, and there's no drive through. It's a beautiful little place to stop.It and eat your ice cream outside.
Pam M — Google review
Manager/owner: please teach your nasty employees to NOT touch the non-paper-covered part of the cone with their bare hands, especially after just handling cash. All it takes is a paper napkin.
Z Z — Google review
Excellent service and great specials! Great ice cream cakes for all occasions. Orange julius, Sundays, blizzards, cones, The month of May, 2 for $4.00 ice cream cones/dipped, or sundaes.
