This is a really nice bakery. I stopped by to get a few sweets for a birthday celebration and I was very impressed with the slices of cake. I got the key lime tower which was my favorite! It had the gram cracker bottom and tasted amazing. We also tried the berry dessert special, as well as the strawberry passion. All 3 were delicious. The girl serving me was fast and friendly, the dining area was clean, and the coffee was on point. Definitely a nice spot to visit when passing through.

We have loved Petite Madeline for a long, long time. So when we decided to get married, we knew there was only one option for the cake and desserts at the reception. We fed everyone a huge meal and then brought out the desserts. And they were gone in a short amount of time. Everyone we talked to said, “Oh, this is so good!” I was really surprised how fast the desserts and cake got eaten after how much food everyone already ate. But it is because Petite Madeline knows how to make people happy. They know how to make good food that is not dessert, too. We eat there frequently, and we always love it. Their Benedicts are so delicious. Their Greek bowl is incredible. Their waffles are tasty. Their coffee is perfect. Their tea is excellent. My only problems with Petite Madeline are that they don't have a location right next door to me and they aren't open 24 hours.

For our weekly coffee date, my wife and I enjoyed a moment at Petite Madeline Bakery. The service was quick. It felt good to receive a refill on coffee. The bakery shinned and was full of life and customers. The coffee was bold, and our tasty scone was a treat. This gem of a bakery adds to Oceanside's charm and delight. It’s such a cute and nice place to eat right off of coast highway in Oceanside. The food was delicious, staff were nice, and they had so much seating inside. The pastries they offered were so cute and delicious! I took my mom here for Mother’s Day breakfast….definitely recommend!

I came for the pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs. Everything was good except the bacon. It tasted different. Perhaps it wasn't pork. I didn't get any pastries but will next time. They looked really good. You order and pay at the counter. Grab your napkins, silverware, and water at the self serve station then grab a table. They will bring your order. I would come back to give the pastries a try.

The tender pork ribs are perfectly cooked, smothered in a flavorful green chili sauce that has just the right amount of spice. The sides of cheesy refried beans and fluffy Spanish rice complement the main dish beautifully, making it a well-rounded meal. First time there, great atmosphere and service. Food was good. Nothing special. I will be back to try other food to get a real feel of food quality. They also have an area for bread, desserts and cakes.

I came here on a Friday for a early lunch the food was horrible I got chile verde breakfast the meat was so hard and chewy the weird thing was there was like one piece in there that wasn't overcooked showed how bad the rest was cooked to much. My fiance got the milanesa torta she said was just ok . We also got some Mexican bread to all bread the bread was just ok come cookies tasted old and weird I don't recommend this place to any one

I went to pick up a pound cake that I ordered on Friday on a Sunday. It was never made and they just threw one in a box and handed it to me. I said it is supposed to be frosted. They young man didn't know what to do. He goes behind the counter and throws some glaze on it. I said that isn't lemon frosting like I ordered. He sent out the manager who was an older gentleman and rude. He said if I frosting it i will have to charge you for a cake. That made no sense. So he went to the back slapped on a blob of white frosting and said here. At no point did they apologize for not having it made and the inconvenience. An apology would have gone a long way. But he was so rude is why I said I needed to do a review.

Friendly service. Clean, cooling, nice environment to dine in. Great food and pricing. Ordered 2 kinds of salads and a horchata. We bought baked goods in addition to dining in. Everything was superb. 👍🏻

This place was incredible! The service was toooooo great, the food even better, and the atmosphere.... the atmosphere was incredible too. Like better than the Earth's atmosphere. How can you get better than that. A trust hidden gem. I can't wait to go back and get some more food off of the menu. Great pan too. The service hit a new high for me. I felt like they were all family friends by the time we left. Mmmm Good, not bad.

The atmosphere is nice, they had a live pair performing. It was a tad bit loud but good ambience. The bakery and restaurant are separated so it’s easy to get your bakery items without having to walk through tables. The food was tasty and well portioned. The chilaquiles were not spicy at all, I wish they were a bit more spicy but it’s understandable.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Crimson Cake, who baked our wedding cake and made mini desserts for the dessert table. Alicia was prompt in her communications and easy to work with. I highly recommend the tasting box! I tried 3 different bakeries before I settled on this one, and am so glad I did. The guests (and even the servers at the wedding) raved about the cake. There are so many flavors to choose from, but the quality of the ingredients (like true fresh fruit) really stands out. Their delivery fee is reasonable (wedding was in La Jolla) and the mini desserts truly are outstanding. The expertise and craftsmanship of the bakers is evident. Thank you Crimson Cake!

She absolutely nailed this cake for my nieces grad party. She went above and beyond what I asked for and added extra touches to make it even more personal and special. It was the talk of the party. The figurines i bought were pretty heavy and I'm amazed at how well it all stayed together. SOMEHOW only one piece was left, so everyone absolutely loved the flavor. I cant believe a cake made me so emotional but I was truly so happy with this entire transaction.

Thank God for trying their samples for my son’s upcoming wedding. This place was highly recommended by the venue so we picked up samples with a lot of expectations. Very disappointing, I don’t know how old those samples were but we the whole family of 6 agreed on how bad the texture of the cakes is, they’re dry, dense and loaded with icing that it’s about the most greasy extremely sweet thing I have ever tasted, I don’t doubt that their cakes might look beautiful, the finished icing looks beautiful, but don’t be fooled, we tried 6 different flavors and we all voted. The chocolate 2 stars, I’ll give the lemon a 1.5 star, the coffee even had a weird odor. I believe that a cake should look beautiful and taste delicious, specially for a wedding when it costs a small fortune nowadays. Make sure you taste before you order. The entire box was thrown away, and we are a family that loves sweets. (The samples sat at room temperature for 3 hrs)

Exceeded every expectation! I gave some very broad ideas for a space/galaxy cake for my son's birthday. They did an amazing job with the details, coloring, and even cake ball planets! The flavor and texture were amazing as well. Will absolutely return in the future!

From the very first email I sent inquiring about their services to the cake pickup with their professional and helpful staff, the entire experience was seamless, easy, and highly professional. Alicia is truly an artist and her bakery shop is as charming as it is impressive. Everything I ordered was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. Everyone at the event raved about the dessert table — it was a huge hit!

I am ecstatic to have found The Crimson Cake. Although I always bake my own cakes, lack of time forced me to purchase a cake for my son’s birthday this year. I arrived early to the shop to snag a “kid friendly” pre-made cake and I felt like the stars aligned when a funfetti cake was available. The ladies personalized the cake and even decorated it with legos to match theme of the day. The best part though was eating the cake. Every component was delicious and it was still delicious 5 days later. From now on, I am leaving the cake baking to the pros at The Crimson Cake!

I’ve visited this café twice, mostly drawn in by the high ratings and convenient location near my boyfriend’s PT. First visit: I tried the bacon, egg & cheese croissant sandwich on the staff’s recommendation. The croissant was very flaky—so much that it created quite a mess. While the ingredients balanced decently together, the sandwich was surprisingly bland without the bacon. It was filling, but at $10.50, I can’t say it felt worth the price. Second visit: I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, which was listed as a popular item on Google. When I opened the container, I was greeted with a pool of grease—not the most appetizing sight. As I ate, I noticed the sausage wasn’t evenly distributed, leaving many bites without any. Like the croissant sandwich, the burrito itself lacked flavor and relied heavily on the salsa for taste. Personally, I expect a breakfast burrito to hold its own, with the salsa serving as an enhancement—not a crutch. $11 for a bland burrito full of grease? No thank you. Service: The staff was friendly, and service was quick on both visits, which I appreciated. I also tried the pumpkin shaken espresso during my first visit, and that was actually pretty good. The pastries in the case always look tempting, so maybe that’s what I’ll try next time. Overall, I’ve been disappointed with the food, especially given the café’s 4.5-star rating. Great service, but unfortunately, the flavors just didn’t live up to the hype.

It was a last minute decision to stop here for breakfast and glad we did! O'side gem for sure! 😋😍 Pastries were a 10/10. Eggs Benedict were on point. Omelet was delicious,hash browns needed some salt but will definitely come here again. OMG cheesecake with berries...best ever!!!

This place is THE spot for a croissant . It’s right by the police station and Pitstop Diner (with plenty of parking, bless), and it’s become our go-to for weekend breakfast. The crepes are so good, and I’m obsessed with the matcha almond croissants. They also sell whole cakes that are seriously beautiful. It always smells amazing when you walk in, just super cozy and welcoming. We love it here.

Best place for croissants and best place for Strawberry matcha that I found in north county. I really like their banana bread latte too. In both drinks, the strawberry puree and the banana cream on top of the latte was delicious and tasted organic. The matcha tasted more premium too. They have a points system after earning 100 pts you get $5 off your order.

We have been going since they opened, so hoping for an excellent experience. They did not fail. We’ve had THE best lunches, pastries and, the cakes!!! My husband gets me the double chocolate mousse cake for my BD every year. They are always kind, and it’s such an awesome offerings. So glad they are thriving and serving our community. 🙌❤️

I love this breakfast spot a great deal, I sometimes order in, but in order to see what pastries they have we go in person from time to time and they never disappoint. Today we had an absolutely amazing ham cheese and jalapeño croissant that I hope remains as a permanent menu item. It was SO delicious I wanted to take home two more. Their seasonal drinks are always such a hit too. I had an orange peach refresher that I'm still daydreaming about. The staff are always so lovely and a pleasure to talk to as well. 🫶🏽

Normally I do not go to fancy schmancy named places, however my significant other has a sweet tooth, me?, I am a savory guy.. Any-hoo, picked up some sweets, she lived them..but me, I zeroed in on the baguettes...now bread and butter..I am in heaven. They have good bread. If you are interested, I am the Master-Blaster of "Scooby Snacks"! News flash, it involves baguettes! If you like pastries, and have a sweet tooth, stop by, but if you are manly savory guy, and love baguette and butter..(pepper jack cheese and hard Salami slices too)..this place is a GO at this station...if you are in the neighborhood Enjoy

Seniors Samba's post & pic got us in here. We bought an assortment of their treats, to try out. Got here around 8am, & all 4 goodies we bought were warm, light, buttery & flaky-fantabulous! These pastries were so good, & even better with a cup of their delicious coffee. I liked their raisin roll & the apricot & custard croissant the best. I saved the pastry, with whole plump blueberries nestled in the center of it, for the next day. We also purchased one of their fresh baguettes. Le Rendez-Vous French Bakery has very solid fresh-baked French pastries here! They also serve quiches & sandwiches, as well.

I ordered sourdough walnut few weeks ago on a Saturday to pick up at certain hour but when I pick it up late the old lady at the counter had a nasty look on me was so rude and nasty that she said she sold it to somebody else cause I was late. I called again today to order she asked do you need it today? She said it's only available on Wednesday and at Farmer's market. It's in their menu but doesn't say so this bakery is a huge disappointment and has a very bad customer service.

This has the best baguette in town!! Also, very delicious cakes and pastries!

I unfortunately, I had to change my five star review of this Bakery. It has truly gone downhill after the French girl quit probably because of the way they conduct their business. The quality bread has gone downhill rapidly, and the service has gone downhill as quickly as that. Nine dollars for a loaf of bread, which needs to slice now they want to charge to even slice it. Taking advantage of their customers who are loyal and have been coming there every week since they opened no more.

Tried this gelato place because of the reviews on their flavors and I gotta say, it is worth the hype. You cant go wrong with the flavor you get. I got a large -- strawberries & cream, dark chocolate, gianduja. My partner got a large as well -- pistachio, tiramisu, and gianduja. I'm not a pistachio fan but their pistachio flavor is great. I've had gelato from Italy & it's definitely on par! Will definitely come back next time and try their affogato or lavender chai. 💜

Absolutely unforgettable experience at 1022 Cafe & Gelateria! From the moment we arrived, Connor and Erick welcomed us with warmth, energy, and incredible hospitality—it truly set the tone for everything that followed. We sampled several flavors of their artisanal gelato, and every single one was outstanding. But the pistachio? A masterpiece. Creamy, rich, and full of real flavor—it completely stole the show. The stracciatella and coffee gelato were also phenomenal—balanced, bold, and so satisfying. We drove all the way from Orange County, and let us tell you—it was absolutely worth it. If you're in Oceanside or anywhere nearby and haven’t been to 1022 yet, you're seriously missing out on one of the best gelato experiences around. I just came here to celebrate my sisters birthday. She’s been here before and loved it so I was all in, especially being an ice cream connoisseur. We all got rolled ice cream and having been to other rolled ice cream places I know it can take a second to orient myself with the menu. However in the interaction it was VERY confusing. I wanted to order a chocolate rolled ice cream with strawberry sauce and fruity pebbles. However they said I couldn’t get that and I needed to order the Kit-kat rolled ice cream sundae and substitute for the toppings I wanted. I didn’t want the kit-kat base on that ice cream I wanted chocolate and they said i could substitute the base for I was VERY confused. I asked how many toppings does just the ice cream come with and if not how much are the toppings. The cashier said they didn’t know and couldn’t tell me. It was weird! I just said forget it I want a chocolate ice cream base with strawberry sauce and fruity pebbles. The other co-worker walked up to the register and helped the cashier. The topping were at no charge. The coworker made my ice cream. VISUALLY: looked amazing TASTE: Great ACCURACY of ORDER: I didn’t receive chocolate ice cream, I got malt crunch. IMPACT: The error was minor My sister got VEGAN SMOREs tho! The employees were kind and hard working. The Taro ice cream was delicious. The vegan coconut rolls were lacking flavor. They need to use coconut cream. The oat milk also was lacking flavor. Won’t be returning due to so many other places with better quality products.

Myself and friends came here not knowing what to expect. The ice cream was delicious! There is certainly more wait time for the rolled ice cream, but it all tastes amazing and they work efficiently. Great atmosphere and a fun spin on boring old ice cream.

I’ve never had Taiyaki before but this won’t be my only time. Had a fantastic experience here- went after a pier walk and the Taiyaki was great! The ice cream texture is super smooth and my entire group loved their orders. I got the Hortcha Fish with Carmel and it was perfect- would recommend. Staff is very friendly and we got our ice cream fast! My ice cream ended up costing about $7- for the location I think it’s well priced.

Ummmmm yummmmmmm!!!!! My tummy loved this cute spot!! Soooo many great choices to choose from! I had the fish cup with condensed milk and vanilla ice cream. That fish cup was a great idea whoever came up with that! It was awesome!

I took my granddaughters here to try it out. The shop is pretty cute. Sasha assisted us today, and she was very friendly and accommodating. They have a wide variety of unique flavors, each more adventurous than the last. I ordered the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood with toasted corn cream, honeycomb, and caramel with caramel popcorn on the top. The hint of the corn cream was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed my ice cream. Next time I return here, I want to try the taco ice cream and can't wait.

Second time here and its literally one of my favorite ice cream places. You can try all the flavors if that's what you want, however you will not get the wrong one, they are delicious. So far my top 3 flavor are Let Them Eat Cake, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and last but not least.... this might be leaving the menue soon..... Roasty Toasty! Staff is amazing, its unfortunate to have such a small break time area. I saw a staff member sitting on a tiny stool.

Fantastic!! Better flavors than McConnell’s and Handel’s. True artisan ice cream and the waffle cones are fresh and delicious. Staff were very sweet and patient with our kids while they decided on a flavor. They have a cute small sink to wash hands and faces after — a nice touch for those with toddlers.

so delicious! i ordered a s’mores taco and then we got a sampler to share. we got cool mint, root beer, banana crunch, and the principle ice cream for that (apologies for not remembering the names). the root beer was definitely my fav, followed by the banana which surprised me because i’m typically a chocolate lover through and through. we were told to try the caramel popcorn inspired next so hopefully it’s still available when we make our next summer trip. so yummy! if we didn’t have a 7 hour drive, i’d have been going home with a lot of ice cream.

I stopped by Nana and Pop Pop’s Sweet Shop at Oceanside Harbor because I was seriously needing ice cream. I saw several people with cones and bowls on the waterfront and found my way around to the south side of the building. The entrance is quaint and looks like something you’d see in Nantucket—very cute and charming. As soon as you walk in, you’re surrounded by taffy bins on both sides, sold by weight. In the center of the store, there are some T-shirts and other fun Oceanside memorabilia. Along the far section of the wall are the other sweet treats, like candy and such. But the thing I was most after was ice cream. It looked like they had a couple dozen flavors, though I didn’t count them. There are more than enough choices to keep me and my friend happy. It’s great to have so many options. My main goal was something chocolatey and tasty. I ended up getting chocolate malted crunch. I haven’t had that in forever. It was such a throwback, and I loved it. The clerk was super nice and answered all my questions about the different flavors. He was bright, young, and energetic. What more could you want at a fun little ice cream shop in a harbor location? This store, and the others in the area, kind of reminded me of Seaport Village in San Diego—fun and quirky with little treats and gifts. Can’t recommend it enough.

This is paradise for someone who has a giant sweet tooth. There is candy galore and the ice cream is delicious and hand scooped!!!! The employee was super warm and welcoming. It's a small place but it is packed with sweets. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is willing to listen.

Has been my favorite sweet shop in oceanside ever since I was a kid. The ice cream is pretty good and they offer a wide variety of sweets. However, the best thing to get has to be the saltwater taffy. Best flavors are watermelon and grape, but at this point I have tried them all and they are all decent. I seriously hope this place stays open forever.

Visited the Oceanside Harbor for the first time last week on a Sunday. Came here after kayaking around 4:10 pm. The line was long with probably 15+ people in front of my group. I ended up getting two flavors (1/2 scoop each) single scoop on a waffle cone. The ice cream was good! Not the best I've ever had (I am an ice cream fan) but not bad for a local sweet shop in the area. Pros: +LOTS of flavors to choose from +Shop itself is very cute with the various unique candies that you can take a look at while waiting in line +Ice cream was a cheap price +Service was friendly and pleasant - they are very patient and accommodating with large groups. We were a group of 4 +You can try sample ice cream flavors (this is as of Sun, Sep 5, 2021 still during COVID) Cons: -Located in a popular area, it may be difficult to find parking on a weekend (we certainly did) FYI: They accept CASH, CREDIT, or DEBIT. 30 cents charge for credit/debit

Nana and Pop’s Sweet Shop has been here forever. It’s a reason to come to Oceanside Harbor all unto itself. Like stepping back in time, the long forgotten treats of the ‘Good ol’ days’ are here aplenty. Blackjack gum, candy buttons, rock candy, and you didn’t hear it from me, but they used to sell candy/bubblegum cigarettes but you had to ask. Maybe not anymore, it has been a lot of years since I have. The smell of that candy shop could lull you into a nostalgic euphoria. The ice cream bar is my favorite. They make their own waffle cones and bowl, which is probably why it smells like heaven in there. They still carry my favorite flavor of ice cream, Bubblegum, and it’s hard to find that attractive brilliant blue with multicolored frozen gum balls sporadically protruding about. It reminds me of my childhood and it’s worth the drive just to get a little scoop of that simple heaven. If you haven’t been here, you should definitely try it. I feel like you’ve missed a HUGE part of what makes O’side harbor a place that you want to visit again and again and again. A definite local recommendation, can’t miss it!

I was pleasantly surprised by Village Kitchen & Pie Shop — the food was excellent, and the place itself is incredibly charming and cozy. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the service was friendly and welcoming from the start. As a fan of country fried steak, I have to say theirs is one of the best I’ve had in all of San Diego. Cooked perfectly, flavorful, and comforting, exactly what you want from a classic dish like that. The bakery is also worth mentioning, the pies and pastries are really good and clearly made with care. I definitely need to come back with the family for breakfast. Highly recommended!

We are visiting from Indiana and after Mass at St. Patrick Church, we decided to stop for breakfast here. It was perfect! There’s anything you could want for breakfast, including the fried chicken livers I got! Everything was so delicious and the pies and pastries look divine. We had a great breakfast! Our food came out so quickly and it was perfect. Our eggs were cooked to perfection. Our server was great. She was friendly and checked in on us often. There are beautiful flowers out front and in the back , so stop and take in their beauty as well. We will definitely be back!

Excellent experience overall! We got there around 11 am, just before the lunch rush and were seated immediately. It got pretty busy after we got there and there were people waiting to be seated by the time we left. They have a lot of seating inside and outside. They also have a big parking lot but this place is popular, so I would recommend coming in just before peak hours. We got the French toast and the chorizo scramble with a side of potato pancake and a homemade biscuit. Both plates were excellent. The French toast was just right - not too sweet, fluffy and freshly made. The chorizo scramble was a teeny bit saltier than I like, but savory, with a slight kick and flavorful. The potato pancake didn't have as much salt so the combo worked. The biscuit was decent. We went back later that day to get some pie. They didn't have the banana cream pie, so we got the chocolate banana cream pie and the boysenberry pie slices. For people who like bananas, you will love the banana cream pie. Definitely strong on the banana component! The boysenberry was just right between sweet and tart. The pie crust were flaky and not at all soggy. We have found a new favorite place for American brunch and will be back for sure!

Great breakfast spot! If you arrive before 11am Monday- Friday you can take advantage of the morning specials. The biscuit and gravy with home fries and an egg is my new crave! It does get busy, but the wait moves along quickly. The service is fast and very friendly as well. Check it out!

**Could be the best gelato establishment of all time! I used to visit this spot on a weekly basis in 2017-19 when I lived in the area( those Gaia Gelato days). I remembered always feeling shocked by the flavor in each little bite. Honestly, I've been thinking about it ever since... Just a few days ago, I flew in to SD and immediately took a drive up to Carlsbad to confirm my suspicion. Turns out it still rules. This could possibly be the best kept secret in San Diego. I can't wait to go back!

This shop is the best! As someone who has to eat gluten-free, I so appreciate the clearly labelled allergy friendly options and was pleasantly surprised to find gluten free pasta available in shop alongside the normal Italian bagged pastas. (It is very good I recommend picking some up and cooking it at home) The staff are always kind, the gelato is always delicious, it is in a fun and vibrant location, it’s just a great place

I like this place! So many incredible flavors to choose from, plus a variety of other cute little snacks and treats. The mini macarons were fun and really tasty! Fun location in a beautiful little shopping center. Perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Where does one go for a coffee date, while it is raining? Pier View Coffee Company. They provide both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience is warm with dark wood furniture. The music playing in the background adds to the ambiance. The decor offers historical pictures of Oceanside Pier. Hence, the coffee shop is near the pier. Pier View Coffee offers window seating that provides plenty of natural light, great for reading 📖. When the weather is nice, these windows are open providing more of an open-air feel. I look forward to sipping another bold cup of coffee ☕ at Pier View Coffee Company.

My buddy and I are heading to every coffee place we can find in Oceanside this week. One shop each morning for 7 days. We came here for the coffee on vacation, and Pier View Coffee Co delivered. The classic latte was visually appealing and tasted great. The espresso is not very strong, some may love that, some may not. The location is great, the store was great, friendly atmosphere and employees. It’s pricey but very reasonable for coffee in Cali. 4 stars!

Ambience is amazing. The open air, window seating was worth it all. I wanted a smoothie & ended up with the vegan sandwich which was delicious & ever so fresh. Service was decent. It would have been nice to see & fee more friendly faces (service related) but I’m not complaining. The food came out perfect & was delicious. The Pineapple Pete Kombucha was tasty. I’d definitely go back & try out the smoothies. Although I don’t drink coffee, they are well know for their coffee. I ate the sandwich too quickly & forgot to take a picture lol. Seriously, this place is a find! Killer coffee, insanely good donuts and bagels, and locally sourced food that always hits the spot. They have amazing specials, I highly recommend the the nutty Irishman latte! The vibe is pure cozy, perfect for chilling with friends or just enjoying some prime people-watching with inside and outside sidewalk tables. The nearby beach and Pier is a bonus! You'll be hooked – guaranteed.

Good little coffee shop with very hot coffee and lattes which is the way I like it. Scones are delicious ( get it heated). Inside is comfortable and quiet.

The freaking Blueberry Cobbler! Whoa smokies was that bomb. Had a soul warming dirty chai to go with the cobbler and it was a perfect start to my day off. I’m not one to gate keep but they’ve really got down the delicious munchies here. Please don’t buy up my blueberry cobbler! I also love the local artists featured in the store and the fact they even have performers. I’ll have to make my way back here to check them out. Left with an incredible handmade mug from a local artists and full belly of goodness.

Amazing spot with great options for both vegans and non-vegans! I had a vegan breakfast sandwich and a brownie - both were super tasty. The staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

I really wanted to love Jitters Coffee—it’s got a chill atmosphere, good vibes, and it wasn’t overcrowded. The comfortable décor and mellow playlist make it the perfect spot to hang out and sip a coffee…if you’ve got time to spare. I ordered their breakfast sandwich (menu price + tax = $20), opting for the “real” version with cheddar and sausage since the rest of the menu is vegan. After ordering, they came back to say they could do real cheddar but not real sausage—so I ended up with genuine cheddar and vegan sausage. Speaking of slow: despite the café being pretty empty, it took a whopping 25 minutes to get my one sandwich. The staff were friendly and apologetic, but if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t your place. That said, if you want to chill, don’t mind paying premium prices, and are into vegan-forward menus (or just love real cheddar), Jitters is a cool spot to unwind—just plan ahead.

Came here after seeing a coffee lovers IG advertisement. Another plus was hearing about the owners and the potential for meeting Jason. The atmosphere is cute and cosy, and the avocado toast is LOADED and delicious! The "latte" was super disappointing...not your typical craft latte. Tasted a lot more like drip coffee with a splash of milk. (Picture as presented :/ ) If you"re vegan you'll appreciate the flavors of their food. Never saw Jason! :( But in all seriousness, great avocados.

CHILL LITTLE SHOP w/ mid-tier donut options. I stopped by per my Mom's recommendation as we heard good things about Parlor. It's a pretty big donut organization now across the US, so we decided to try it. I wasn't a major fan of the bread ratio inside my "Sandy Beach" donut. My mom and some other reviews said they're going for a cronut style of pastry. However, this wasn't flaky nor tasted like a cronut. It just felt like an excessive amount of bread without flavor, aside from the top and outer bread layer. The flavor wasn't bad on the outside (it was actually pretty good), however the inside was very underwhelming. Its a shame as the outside of the "donut" tasted like a mix of apple pie and cinnamon roll. I'll give the shop credit for their tasty coffee, I loved my layered cold brew! Service was also hit or miss, a young couple in front of me was treated poorly. I didn't like that. I was treated pretty well, but I hate to see other people my age get mistreated. Only one younger guy (an employee) who was working double time had a nice attitude. My Dad and I were disappointed as the autumn specialty items were not available. This was not a inventory issue, they just didn't have anything ready. I wasn't a fan of the decor, it just was too over the top in some places. I did enjoy the lighting and retro feel, but it felt like this location was trying too hard with the excessive decorations in the background. The bathroom was gross and unkempt. Overall, there's lots of improvements needed at this location, however I believe in second chances so I want to try their other items, maybe I'll be surprised?

The doughnuts here are really good! I saw a lot of people walking at the Oside Beach with boxes of these and I went it to get one and a cup of coffee. The service was great, servers are super friendly. The ambience is chill and welcoming. The doughnuts looked tasty and they have mini doughnuts too plus the prices are reasonable. I got the maple bacon and it was delicious paired with their latte. I also came back to but the mini doughnuts and my friends enjoyed every flavor.

If you want a delicious homemade donut this is the place to go in Oceanside! Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that they were so busy the three flavors I wanted were sold out and fresh ones not made yet. I had to pick a fourth option on my donut choice. Not completely their fault that their donuts are so good they fly off the shelf! Then there is only outside first come first serve limited seating outside.

This is hands down the best and most authentic donut place! Every donut tastes amazing, soft, and full of flavor. Every time we’re in town, we have to stop by and grab some because they’re just that good. It’s definitely a must-visit spot for anyone who loves donuts!

Beyond Disappointing. Please note this review is specifically for the Vegan & Gluten Free Donuts. I’ll gladly update this review if there are updated/changes to these options. For a place that takes pride (clearly visible in their regular donuts), why the hell would you put vegan & gluten free in the same donut without providing regular vegan options too? To top it off, all the donuts are $4.25 EACH for the tiniest bite size donut. It doesn’t matter what kind of toppings, frosting, glaze etcetera that you put on it, a gluten free item is tasteless (or I should say tastes the exact same with a worse after taste than any regular dairy made donut). Also for those that are unaware, most gluten free items are dry too. It doesn’t say on the menu nor did the very sweet & kind hostess that helped us tell me about them until after I asked her what those little tiny things the Pastry Chef was making in the back. She said those are your donuts & proceeded to tell me they were baked not fried & that they were both vegan & gluten free. I was ordering these donuts thinking that they had the option of EITHER vegan OR gluten free options. Very disappointing considering I researched this space & was told by local friends that it’s a must. The regular donuts look absolutely gorgeous & taste (I had to stay neutral about the overall venue & took a bite of my Girlfriends donut) pretty damn good. Do better on the Vegan & Gluten Free donuts. Keep up the high integrity & high quality product that you showcase in the glass cases up front. I’ll look forward to coming back in the future. Hopefully there will be some better options (I’m back in town in November). Thank you Team Parlor Doughnuts for the overall hospitality.

Visiting parlor doughnuts is a must if you’re in Oceanside! The flavors are absolutely delicious and unique—each one bursts with creativity and freshness. What really sets them apart is their unique dough—similar to a croissant and perfectly soft, fluffy, moist, and has a nice chew. The coconut cream filled one was flavorful without being overly sweet. The peanut butter cup had a good balance of peanut butter and chocolate, not too overpowering. The maple pecan was on the sweeter side but absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to try more!

We couldn’t get enough Parlor Doughnuts during our one week stay in Oceanside. We wanted to try them all but there are too many flavors. We loved the apple pie one and coconut cream filled. What a unique take on the over populated standard doughnut market. I think that’s why they’re so popular. Don’t plan on eating there, they don’t have seating. Walk down to Pannikin to get a coffee with your sweets.

Doughnuts were pretty good and sold at an average price. They don't have much beyond the traditional variety, but I liked what I had. The cake based doughnuts are super soft and fluffy. Also appreciated the service. They threw in an extra doughnut and some doughnut-holes free of charge.

While vacationing in Oceanside, this donut shop was within walking distance from our rental. They had AMAZING donuts and staff!

If you're on Coast highway and looking for the best donut, look no further. SK's has an incredible and delicious selection to choose from, and each time I've gone they've thrown in an extra donut or a few donut holes for free. Even if the donuts were mediocre, the freebies would make this place worth it. But once you factor in their delicious donuts, choosing SK's becomes a no-brainer. Price is good too. Today I bought three ring donuts and paid $5.00 (plus they threw in four donut holes for free, which I didn't even discover until I had gotten to the car). I could not recommend this establishment enough. 10/10 Oh and they take cash or card.

This is our favorite donut shop! The sandwiches are yummy too and the smoothies! They added a few donut holes to our order. They were fast and efficient. We go out of our way to stop by when on vacation. The buttermilk, blueberry, apple fritter, maple donuts are all delicious! We were so excited we forgot to take pictures before we started eating!

These pies were delicious, cooked fresh light, and crispy. Great size for a quick snack and love that it came in 3's. Located at the top gun house so it was cool just to take pics there while you snacked on a yummy dessert. They also have lots of outside seating.

For those a fan of the Top Gun movies, this is a must visit. On top of that, the pies were actually really good as well as the organic creamy straus soft serve they sell. I was originally going for the apple pie a la mode but they were out. So I ended up getting just one small apple pie and a side of soft serve ice cream. Me and my partner really loved the apple pie bites we ordered more to go. I don’t know what people are expecting and why such low reviews but I definitely thought it was worth the stop and the desserts didnt disappoint.

These were so yummy! Perfect size and great flavor! I got the cherry but other got apple and strawberry rhubarb and they loved theirs. The house was also adorably nostalgic with a great location.

All the pies are delicious, I personally like the apple and blueberry ones .. the whoopie pie was outstanding too!! I’m a coffee lover and it was great too… the service was great and I think the pies are perfectly portioned!! I tried all the different types and I absolutely loved them… plus the “Top Gun” house movie reference was good..

Overall cool experience. The pies were kinda small, but tasty. Some of them came on a stick, so it’s freat to give to the kiddos. They also had their version of a ding dong, & that was almost better that the pie.

Don’t understand the low reviews. It’s a nice spot to swing by if you’re in the area. Definitely not a spot I would go out of my way to visit. Prices aren’t bad. It’s $3 for a small pop tart and $3 for a cup of coffee. People pay way more at other tourist spots. Kids loved it. Get the apple pie. Come and get some pies, a coffee and a display of Top Gun memorabilia with a dash of nostalgia. Hot guys spiking volleyballs on the beach are not included.

Ordered a dozen cup cakes, a package of brownies, and a 6- inch chocolate cake. The cake was frozen. I let it sit all morning, perfect for dinner. Frosting was Buttery, not overly sweet, cake batter great too. Have not tried the brownies yet. But they look good. If not in the mood to bake these treats, then this is my solution for a chocolate craving fix. Better than supermarket cake/ frosting ANYDAY.

We got a gluten free cake for our anniversary and it was SO good. We love their cupcakes and the cake is just as delicious! The cake was $125 and they even gave us a fully punched out rewards card which was so kind.

Delicious! We can see why they have won Cupcake Wars twice. We will return (we drove over from Oceanside just for these to try for the first time because of an Instagram post by Eating Oceanside). We had the Champagne, German Chocolate, and Lemon cupcakes. A little pricey and we forgot to ask for our 20% discount. Oh well. Next time!

Cute little shop! Service was friendly and helpful deciding which flavors to try. Cupcakes are conveniently offered in a custom box of 4, which I appreciated. Tan’s Donuts. I used to come here in the late 1980s and early 1990s when I was a college student. Snacking on a donut, black coffee, I’d sit at a table and review my class notes there once or twice a week. The original owners, Mr. & Mrs. Tan and their daughters, worked very hard and had an excellent product and reputation. I’ve recently dropped in after many years away. Three times in the last 10 days! Around noon or later in the afternoon. It’s still a nice donut shop. A little darker environment I think but more food items and beverages are available. The two ladies who work the counter are friendly, imho, and have nice but reluctant smiles. I’ll come back again for a donut or two. I just can’t come as often as in my youth. 01-02-2025

Delicious little donut corner shop. Donuts always fresh daily, and I always get a chai to to go with a box of dozen End up spending about $30 on a dozen and the tea but totally worth it as a treat.

All I can say is wow! We will definitely be back before we leave town. Super creamy ice cream that is a great value in my opinion. Just a 10-minute drive from downtown San Clemente, Handel’s Ice Cream in Capistrano Beach is hands-down the best spot for ice cream nearby. If you’re heading north on the I-5, take the Camino De Estrella exit, turn right, then a quick left toward Camino Capistrano — you’ll find it nestled right in the heart of Capo Beach. The flavors are rich, the portions are generous (especially the fruit mix-ins!), and the staff is always upbeat and welcoming. It’s super family-friendly, and yes — it gets busy after 7pm, but that just means you found the right place. Whether you’re a local, just moved to South Orange County, or are exploring neighborhoods near the coast, this is the kind of spot that makes the area feel like home.

My finance and I went here for a late night dessert and were very pleased! The young girl working was super attentive and helpful. She let us sample a couple flavors to ensure we liked our final choice. The small cup size was plenty big for me personally which was great! Tons of flavors to pick from which was a bonus! I ended up getting the chocolate peanut butter brownie - so good!

Handel's is the best. They have the sweetest ice cream and the sweetest staff. It's conveniently located next to the train station in case you want a little treat before your ride. ❤️🍦

Homemade ice cream is their claim to fame. I had the caramel sundae with Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie. $8.00. Tiny amount of caramel, two little brownie pieces that seemed to be the only thing in there that contained the Peanut Butter and the rest was what I thought to be soft serve chocolate. Mediocre at best is my review.

First time visiting. I enjoyed it! I ordered an scoop of taro and a scoop of birthday cake in a waffle bowl with lots of sprinkles on top. Yummy in my tummy!!! So good. The taro ice cream is must try. I highly recommend & looking forward to returning.

I just had to share this delightful experience I had this past Wednesday. After dropping off my dry-cleaning next door, I suddenly craved an ice cream cone. Given the hot afternoon, it turned out to be the perfect choice, and I am thrilled I picked the right place! A wonderful woman at the shop made me a one-scoop vanilla waffle cone, and it was absolutely terrific! She even took the time to educate me on why the vanilla was yellow; turns out it was Mexican vanilla, and let me tell you, it was the best vanilla ice cream I have ever had. The waffle cone was fresh, and the ice cream was simply delicious. I can't wait to swing by and try another flavor next time! I highly recommend giving it a try – you definitely won't be disappointed!

This ice cream shop is easy to overlook, but the locals know better! They provide delicious, made-from-scratch ice cream. They are also very friendly. There are so many flavors to choose from too!

This place is so good! Handmade ice cream, sorbet, esquites, frozen bananas and more! The Dry Cleaners told me to pay them a visit and was so worth it.

Gritty. Frost bitten, old, poorly rotated.. signs of slow sales and old ice cream near bottom just siting for long time. Poor rotation = Poor flavor = Poor customer satisfaction and customers stop coming. My expensive 1 scoop didnt have ice cream packed into cone 1st..just a scoop on top. I threw it out in the parking lot, it was frost bitten. So sad. Poorly managed shop on product quality presentation and shelf rotation. If sales are this slow maybe buy half containers? Be glad I didn't take photos. If I was the owner here I would be embarrassed

Terrible service. If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff are rude, slow, and disorganized. Management should train them and remind them they’re not doing customers a favor — they’re being paid to do their job.

I don't usually complain but the last 2 times I've been in after 7pm, they're either out of hot fudge and can't make sundaes ,today they were out of bananas They were busy and only 1 person working ,trying to help in store customers and online orders 🙄

Hannah was our scooper. She was friendly and greeted is as soon as we entered. It was clean, well stocked and lots of cute cakes.. I would highly recommend this Baskin Robbins. The Watermelon Splash is Soo good!!

Washed my car down the street and got hungry. Decided to stop by this place and ordered the chilaquiles plate but ordered them divorciados(half red half green) I also added a piece of arachera(skirt steak) l definitely a 10/10 plate! Highly recommended

Food was really good, those large tacos are worth the money for sure. Respectful staff and they were very nice. Tacos were a bit oily but not to a diabetic amount, and the tortillas were freshly made and tasted fantastic definitely coming back here. Very good bakery as well bread was soft and sweet.

Torta is bigger than I expected. I didn't think I can eat it by myself, but I was able to eat it because it was delicious! Fries aren't salty, so you can eat it unless you have to care of your blood high pressure. This is not only restaurant but also market. They have some Mexican bread and something. (Torta $15.14)

I do not recommend the Dubai strawberries! First of all the strawberries were old you could taste with every bite. The chocolate turned rock hard instead of a fudge and the pistachio sauces.. idk what that even was. Please reconsider on perfecting your recipe because spending 15$ on a cup of strawberry. No thank you.

What a treat! Place is clean and staff members are very friendly. Went to try out for the first time and our orders were very delicious. We had Mangonadas, Horchata and an order of chicharron preparado. Very good place for ice cream and other treats.

The first time I visited a Michoacana Plus was in the Los Angeles area. everything was delicious, prices are a bit high, but if you want something good the price is reasonable. Hopefully soon they give us lids for the cups and it will be easier to carry. The only thing I did not like very much was the tostilocos, the fruit was very very very small and not I really like the flavor. everything else very delicious. I recommend this place, all the team very friendly and excellent service. I'm far away, but I'll be back soon.

After waiting a year to make it to Oceanside, I finally tried La Michoacana. YUM! With bright decor and friendly staff, this place knows popsicles (paletas) and ice cream providing a ginormous selection of colors and flavors. All only blocks from the beach. The only thing I wish they offered was a cooler bag so I could have loaded up on treats. This place is great. I can't wait to go back!

Such a vibrant shop with upbeat music. Lots of options for ice cream and snacks. I wish the menu was displayed in a different way at the shop to show prices and options. Staff was super friendly and quick. Restroom available and booths for sitting. The fresas con crema was perfect.

Not only do they have good ice cream but also good snack such as elote, tostilocos, nachos, and much more.There is also great customer service and they are always up to answer any questions you have.Such a good place to go if you want ice cream on a hot summer day and the price is affordable.

I have been to this place a lot of times and this is the first time that I ask for a big smoothie just for the lady to say they are all the same size. Which I responded "I have ordered big smoothies here before.?" So I got more of a juice than a smoothie, it is what it is but if she wasn't in the mood to help us maybe she should of had the other person help us.

It used to be good years ago, certain things may taste good but I just ordered a diablito de “Nive”, most places when u order that it comes with mango ice cream, chamoy, tajin, and the candy on top with some mango pieces. They literally gave me a raspando full with ice and a scoop of mango ice cream on top. This has happened to me twice. My man ordered a raspado de tamarindo, literally just syrup and not even filled it up with ice. IT’s disappointing!

Service was good. Dining environment needs to be more accommodating to sit down with 3-4 people comfortably. Don’t plan on eating in here. We paid $10.79 for a small “Like it” size chocolate ice cream with walnuts and marshmallows. It was too big. Please make a smaller size option. That’s insane. It was delicious; however, not worth the price and we didn’t need that much. Cold stone franchise team needs to do something or you going to price these places out of existence.

I ordered 4 cups of ice cream and literally my kids cups weren’t even filled but the other customer that ordered his 2 cups of ice cream were overfilled that when the girl tried to close it she had to clean it up a little since some came out. I will not come back and if I do best believe I will definently say something if I see I don’t get served right.

Kid with the Glasses looked and acted like he didn’t want to be there. He barely cut the cookies in half and folded the ice cream over it like a blank let and didn’t mix it at all. I got an Oreo overload with him and my husband got his signature ice cream with another guy that did I great job and was nice. I come pretty frequently to pay $30 for ice cream and the experience. This is the first time I don’t tip and it’s very disappointing. I hope he gets retrained because he needs it.

This location had one small table with two chairs upside down on it as if they were closed, two tiny tables with no chairs, and two snotty teenage boys who offered nothing more than handing my wife chairs over the counter to her. Pretty sure customer chairs behind the counter where the ice cream is served is a health code violation. They clearly don't want customers eating in their store. Oh, check out the pic of the filthy table after we took the chairs down ourselves.

Really rude Employee… As soon as we came in she started giving us attitude she was rolling her eyes I asked her what kind of flavor was the ice cream and she answered with an attitude after my husband had ordered his ice cream she walked off and ignored my order another employee had to come and take my order (she was really nice)

The customer service is great. I would like for the employees to be a little more professional and maybe not have personal conversations while they’re helping me, but I understand that they’re young so it’s gonna happen. I don’t like their portions. I get the Togo sizes a lot and they’re never filled.

So I know that Cold Stone carries a lot of stuff, but I have a nut allergy. I made sure not to get nuts in my order. I didn't get to dig into my ice cream when I got home due to the lid not fitting correctly (either it was the wrong size lid or the girl packed in way more than a small size should have) so I had to let it sit in the freezer after cleaning up the mess it made after mostly melting on my desk. Seriously, was the fridge not working either? It's barely a 5 minute drive home and I didn't even leave it out for two minutes before it melted everywhere. In any case, when I did get a chance to have it today, guess what? Nuts, at the bottom of my cup, and I didn't see them until I ingested some by mistake. I have taken the proper procedures to keep myself safe and will continue to monitor my health, but seriously?? You guys need to make sure that your tools are clean! If someone has anaphylactic shock due to this sort of contamination, that's bad news for EVERYONE.

This place was great! The cashier lady had amazing customer service—she was super helpful and really sweet, which made the visit even better. The fresas con crema were a 10/10, definitely recommend them, and the tostilocos were packed with flavor and just as good. If we ever come back from out of town, I’d absolutely stop here again, even just for the service alone.

Love this spot and now my go-to for acaii bowls. Incredible quality produce and it’s family run. Will be coming here often.

Very friendly staff, they explained their items in the menu. I was recommended the concha with ice cream. Pictured is a Concha with Pistachio Ice Cream, caramel and nuts. They microwave the concha to warm it up but honestly it was a bit stale, I mean what do you expect? This place is an ice cream shop not a bakery. The ice cream was very tasty and overall it was very sweet. Maybe an option with strawberries or fruit would be ideal next time.

Really good. About $7-8 for a Medium Chamango. Not crowded. Very nice man helped me and and very nice woman made my drink. Will visit again.

Review of the vegan options, grandma style. Definitely better than most vegan options of pizza in North County but not what I'd consider AMAZING. Grandma style crust isn't something you see often so it's fun to give it a try. Enjoyed that it's sourdough, too. Be prepared to wait, or just call in an order. When we ordered the line wasn't terrible but we waited at least 30 minutes and during that time the line grew out the door and stayed steady on a Wednesday evening.

Man, I was hoping for so much more. I watched them building this place with high anticipation. I ordered two slices, two different kinds. Both crusts were soft, gummy texture with little to no crunch. I hate leaving a review like this because I’m sure they put a lot of money into this build. The place was crowded and to their defense they seemed a little overwhelmed, but I have to call a spade a spade. So much room needed for improvement. Maybe it was an off day because they have signs on the door that read no slices sold after 3PM, only whole pizzas. Best of luck.

Ordered the Good Good Things pizza for takeout. Was expecting much crispier and well done as compared to what I got. Ordered online and it was ready in just 12 minutes- maybe part of the issue…? While the dough was good, it seemed the crust covered 25%+ of the pie. May give it another try, but round one definitely fell short of expectations.

I went sunday after attending padres game. Decided to celebrate win with Sister . We where craving pizza wings and beer . Beer on tap choice are good . Service was friendly and nice. Ordered sat down outside it was pretty bussy so we watched low riders and people walk by while we sipped on our 🍺 beer. My sister had a fly land on her beer and fall in she brought it up to staff and they kindly and quickly provided another beer a t no charge. The food was so yummy the wings where tastefully and pizza was very yummy definitely coming back again soon.

When it opened, Odie’s was our *favorite* pizza in north county. The grandma style was like nothing else - super fluffy, crispy cheesy edges, just perfect. I don’t know what changed, but the grandma style hasn’t been the same the last two times we’ve been and is really disappointing. The crust is now super thin and crunchy like a cracker. Would be 5 stars if the grandma style came back to what it used to be

I had a fair amount of expectations walking in given the hype built around the shop and super happy to say that it ALL deserved! Odie and his team have found something special. The pizzas - I found - are super delicious, their beer selection is great (shoutout to the Odie Lager), and space is gorgeous. Always a fan of grabbing food to go and hanging at the beach and think I found a new staple, yeww!

I had lunch there today, I had the sausage, pepperoni, honey drizzle pizza that was beyond my wildest dreams. The sourdough crust the cheese, the red sauce, the perfect pepperoni and sausage with a honey drizzle, and the right spice. I’m not one much for reviewing, but when the food is this good, I just have to! Can’t wait to try the other yummy menu items of salads, frozen ice cream sandwiches and more.

The cupcakes are good and flavourful, not overly sweet, although pricey. It's about $4 per cupcake, and almost double that to "create" your own. The location itself is clean and colorful. It would be a nice place for a kids party. It also has a cute selection of cupcake and candy inspired novelty gifts. They also sell shaved ice and 3 flavors of ice cream.

Your cupcakes are $3.50 a piece and they offer a wide variety of selection seems like the most basic ones are the tastiest. Sometimes they have a Groupon our local flavor coupon we can get $20 worth of stuff for $10.

The cupcakes here were not bad. I must say that I enjoyed the cake part very much, very moist and well baked. For some reason I wasn’t that thrilled with the frosting on these cupcakes which is odd, huh? They are about 3.50 a piece which is kinda the going rate these days for a really good cupcake. I ordered a half dozen and got one free. So far I tried the chocolate, red velvet, and mango pineapple, again the cake portion was very yummy. I tried the apple pie cupcake and enjoyed it all! I think the cupcakes are kept very very cold and that was why I didn’t care for frosting when I first bought them.

Over priced for the quality. Average to good quality cupcakes but nothing special. The do it yourself designer cupcake is a great concept but the cupcakes are small in size and you pay over $7 per cupcake. Why? Not at all worth it for the small size. The premade cupcakes are fine but the cost is still questionable. Staff was been slow and not attentive the two times I've gone. Won't be going back when I can go down to Barnes and Noble's cafe and get Cheesecake Factory products for the same price.

Atmosphere and friendly staff and owner make this place incredible! It's bright, clean, colorful, and kid friendly. They offer free samples to help you try their delicious cupcakes and they are very kind and personable. A+++ I'm so impressed!

Updated 05/29/18: After a missed delivery, my husband and I met with the owner. She explained fully what had happened, offered a full refund, the contents of the delivery, as well as offered a complimentary 10 person party. She was very genuine and explained what they were doing to prevent anything like this from happening in the future. Professionally handled. Looking forward to getting cupcakes with them in the future

Tried an original sweet potato pie sample at a Farmers Market and IMMEDIATELY had to get the large pie!! AmAZING I haven’t had GOOOD sweet potato pie since I was in Mississippi and if yk Mississippi don’t play about their sweet potato pie!!!! You HAVE to try it!!!! With some milk or some warm coffee just enjoy it! They have vegan options as well!!!!!

Got a pie from a farmers market in LA Mesa. Tried a sample and bought the whole pie. Took the pie for Christmas and everyone loved it! I have to have Gluten-free, so I got the GF/vegan, and was delicious!!! Merry Christmas!

Oh my gosh. My family bought a ton of goodies from the Little Italy Farmer's Market and this sweet potato pie was BY FAR the best treat we had! It is one of the best pies we've ever had. We had never tried sweet potato pie before - it's like pumpkin but even better, if that's possible!!! We made the mistake of only buying 2 small pies...we're coming back for a full pie next time. Born and raised in the south (so I know a great sweet potato pie when I taste one) and every other Saturday I would stop by the farmer’s market in Little Italy and grab a sweet potato pie from Boo Boo’s setup. They kept me stocked with authentic AMAZING sweet potato pie while stationed in SD for the last 3 years. Thank you!!

We come from Florida to Oceanside every year for a visit and the Thursday Farmers Market is a must, but more importantly Bo Bo’s Sweet Potato pies are THE reason to come. Being from the South, sweet potato pie is highly prized, but I’ve never had a pie this good—truly! Light, airy, not too sweet, just the right amount of spice—DELICIOUS!

Solid management and the guy in HR is just awesome. My experience wit the ob meh and less than desirable for long-term. I was basically a overpaid dishwasher and gosh did I HATE it. I was thinking "Sanitation" was more like cleaning/breaking down the machines, taking out the trash and cleaning the walls/floors but instead it was washing dishes three sinks style with suspect machine. Two hours in I was soaked (no waterproof apron) and wasn't interested in doing this for months. Me personally I was bored. The supervisor let it slip that individual before me did it for 6 months. If you're interested in washing dishes and getting wet why not? Best of luck. Plus size you get to try the baked goodies, listen to YOUR music while working and management is solid.

We get their bread at Major's Market in Escondido. Their Multigrain bread is delicious. It's our new favorite bread.

This has got to be the most disgusting place to get your bread from. I received the moldiest bread i have ever seen. When i called to see if i could get a refund or a replacement the lady who was on the phone got really sarcastic and upset telling me that once it leaves then its the customers problem and then she hung up on me. This makes me sick. you'll thank me later!

Great Dairy Queen Experience in Oceanside! It's getting harder to find a Dairy Queen these days, so when a craving for a Blizzard hits, it's worth seeking one out! We recently visited the Dairy Queen location in Oceanside and were very happy with our experience. The first thing we noticed was that the building, especially the interior, looked brand new and was impeccably clean. Despite a couple of customers ahead of us in line, the service was surprisingly quick, and we didn't have to wait long at all to place our orders. We both got exactly what we were craving for our dessert fix. I went with my go-to Blizzard, a delicious mix of Snickers and Butterfinger, while my son opted for the timeless classic – a chocolate dipped cone. In true Dairy Queen fashion, when my Blizzard was ready, the employee brought it over and performed the iconic upside-down Blizzard test, holding it there with a smile before handing it to me. It's always a fun little tradition that assures you of its thickness! All in all, we had a great experience at this Oceanside Dairy Queen. The location was clean, the service was fast and friendly, and our desserts were perfect. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

I've only had dessert here, and it never disappoints. You can't go wrong with the blizzards, and the slushes are very nice. The place is a gold mine though, and it gets popular and crowded very easily. That being said, the service is above average. With the big crowd coming here at night, it does get a little crowded. That being said it can get very loud. 5 stars from me though! Keep doing what you are doing, DQ

No one was in the store, placed an order for 2 blizzards and left a $2.00 tip. In came 2 people, then a group of 5, who had no idea what they wanted, so clerk just stood there waiting for them to decide which took a long time and then 8 more people came in. 25 minutes later we were still waiting. I asked her how much longer and she said maybe 30 more minutes because she has to take all orders first before she can make our 2 blizzards. I asked for a refund and left. I should have taken my tip back.

Excellent shop because you make your own yogurt. You pick the toppings and add as much as you choose. Many different extras to choose from. (about 50) I go everyday and like it far more than ice cream. You won't be disappointed.

RED CUP YOGURT WAS pretty good and not too bad. The guy up front was very nice and explained how it works since we'd never been there. You just grab a cup, filler er UP and the price is based on weight. Load that sucker down. Fantastic selection of topings and finishing touches. Pretty decent price, Fantastic way to end a date. Yummy self serve frozen yogurt in different flavors to choose from, then you slide over to the toppings bar which has has ton of available options and finally to the choice of "sauces" to put on top (chocolate, caramel, marshmallow, etc) 😋Everything we had tasted great. Yogurt was fine. Toppings were fresh. Cost per ounce is about 67 cents. Which is a bit high, but inflation. Item was weighed in pounds, not ounces, and the cashier calculated the price in his head.. no cash register involved. Felt a little off, but oh well.

Great place for froyo! Owner is really nice. Place is clean. Decent choices. Prices are average. We had 4 cups (3 were for kids) totaled $14. All had toppings.

We’ve been here several times in the past few years. The owner, who often works the register, is friendly and kind and keeps the place clean and well stocked. The frozen yogurt is quite good. It’s a small place so space is a bit cramped but otherwise it’s clean and the service is friendly.

I agree with Bernece , went in there and when I ordered my yogurt i took a bite of the candy topping that tasted very old, after i finished the yogurt because I thought nothing of it i ended up getting food poisoning - this was over a year ago and now i dont touch any frozen yogurt. Message to owner , clean your machines, only use fresh ingredients and if your toppings are old throw them away dont leave them out there for the next person to eat. For the price you charge per ounce your fellow community deserve good quality deserts and if you have a bad attitude please hire people that want to make us come back - being in the retail industry for many years a smile goes a long way.

Put an order in for a cake 4 days early called us an hour before it was due for pickup. The lady was rude and didn't care the cake wasn't going to be ready. They were able to get our cake but it's was not a good experience.

So many choices, very friendly staff. Everything is clean but may have seen a few too many years, as in it looked exactly as my last visit at least eight years ago.

Looked around a lot for an ice cream cake but no one had stock though they sell them. But this place is great was a small cake cost about 23 and she was able to squeeze in happy birthday ... Good job 👏 ! The small girl at the cash counter was also very friendly helped me get the cake into the bag. A nice outlet with great n friendly customer service.

As I read the reviews I can see that there is a general trend of everyone saying the store is dirty. I can whole heartly agree with this assessment. The pictures might not be able to show the detail of how bad it is, but if you see that they appreciate the feed back and will address it. It's pretty apparent that they still haven't addressed it because I've seen the same corner in the floor that has been disgusting for over a year. Anyone can understand that today's work force doesn't want to work. At the same time if your charging $5 a cookie you would expect that type of price point one would walk into a clean store. The Hobart mixers are like 10k to 20k a machine, I just don't understand how you would leave dirty batches of mix in there like that and not clean it immediately. Clearly no one cares in this place. I walked in, was not greeted, took the pictures and just left.

Crumbl Cookies has made its way to Oceanside California. Located in the Mission Marketplace on Oceanside Blvd., this franchise has spread all over the country, pleasing many cookie lovers in their wake. While I’m not exactly a “sweets” lover entirely, I can definitely appreciate a good cookie. This was also my first time experiencing this brand of cookies. This new location is starting off showcasing 6 flavors, of which I tried their Birthday Cake, Cinnamon French Toast, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Peanut-Butter and Neapolitan. What I loved the most about their cookies is that they were all thick & soft and almost “doughy”. They weren’t super-moist and would often “crumble” upon biting into them; hence their name? My favorites were the chocolate-chip (reliably safe), Cinnamon French Toast (childhood favorite) and the Chocolate Peanut-Butter (was mostly peanut-butter forward). The service was good, fast and friendly. They also allow for Pre-Ordering with Priority Parking in front. I highly recommend downloading their app in advance to order and also you’ll get a FREE COOKIE upon showing on your phone. One thing that disappointed me is that they don’t have any vegan or gluten-free options available and I’m unsure if they ever will. Overall, this place is made for those who like sweets and don’t mind paying for them. At nearly $4 a cookie, it’s not a place for your “typical trips” and I would only come here to indulge when I want something special. I am so happy that this store opened near me. This is by far my ultimate favorite cookie place. Every single week its always a brand new menu plus I also love the fact that they have mystery cookie every week as well. Almost everything is my favorite. Peanut Butter Brownie, Banana Cake, White Chocolate Macadamia, Cookies and Cream, and more. The staff here are absolutely delightful and very friendly. It is a bit extreme but if not once, I do come twice a week 😅 I always get the Six Pack and I highly recommend to download the Crumble App for points.

It was my first time at crumbl and I paid for the "Birthday wrapping" option not realizing it was just a small little cake sticker and a black elastic ribbon. $1 for that? The desserts were so good although a bit pricey.
