We've had plenty of cupcakes from SugarHigh since we live locally. Had such a great experience with our wedding cake in October 2024 that we decided to order my daughter's college grad cake from them in May 2025. WOW, did they do an incredible job with this design! She graduated with a bachelor's degree in interior design from Central Michigan University. I emailed them of a pic of one of her portfolio designs and they incorporated it beautifully! Couldn't be more happy with this cake! Thank you to the staff for being talented and pleasant.

Fantastic cupcakes! They won a Food Network challenge, I am not sure of the year. I have visited many times and have never been disappointed. Also, if you buy 18 Cupcakes, you get one free. This time I got a Tres Leche one for free and it was amazing. Picked up 2 maple bacon, a blackout, and a lemon cheesecake this time. 😋

Absolutely amazing cupcakes, that’s why I got my husband’s birthday cake from here and they didn’t disappoint. The cake turned out amazing! I also cant praise the staff enough, they are so kind and very friendly every time we visit.

I know I should’ve gotten a cupcake but ended up with a peanut butter cup, chocolate covered strawberry, and my kiddo got the triple chocolate gelato. Says it was the best ice cream ever. Friends got macarons and the quatro leches cupcake, all received raving reviews. So many dog treat options too. A pleasant surprise. Staff was superb!

My fiancé and I ordered a cake to find out the gender of our baby together from sugar high. It was perfect, everything I imagined! They were able to accommodate a flavor that wasn’t listed on their website for choices, we were so happy about that. When we booked our venue for our baby shower, at Warenhaus - right down the road, we knew we needed to have cupcakes from them too! They outdid themselves again! We had a lot of compliments on the flavor of the cupcakes and how cute they were! We ordered 5 dozen cupcakes and they were packaged easily for 1 person to bring back to the venue.

They did such a fantastic job with custom desserts for my son’s graduation party. They looked great and tasted even better!

I’m so sad to say that the cupcake flavor did not live up to how beautiful they look. I got 4 cupcakes for a girls weekend and we split a taste of all of them. We did not finish the bites. They we not full of flavor as we all expected them to be. I was very disappointed. If you are looking for a beautiful cupcake you got it, but the taste did not pay off 🙁

It was good. The atmosphere seems to be authentic. Wasn't expecting the servers to be wearing their outfits too. I had the famous fried chicken, pretty good. They give you A LOT of food, be prepared to eat. We tried it though this type of food is not our favorite. It was a fun experience.

We were just here last week for our mini getaway Oct. 2025 since we live in a different state. Drove hours to come back to this place after 4 years. Place still has the same ambiance and good food. Just very busy and needed reservations or else you'll wait for an hour to get your table. Place was packed with tourist as the whole town is a tourist place but we got our table after an hour and ordered our food so fast. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Still has the same flavor as years ago but prices went up a bit. We enjoyed every bit of it. Worth the drive & wait.

We came here as a group of 10, and the staff was so kind, they quickly arranged a great table where we all felt comfortable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional Bavarian/German style, which is honestly the coolest part of the experience and really sets the mood. The famous chicken dinner was very good, and it came with plenty of refillable appetizers, all of them were delicious! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive throughout the meal, making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a little on the pricey side, but overall, it was a really good experience and definitely worth visiting if you’re in Frankenmuth.

My wife and I visited the Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and it was an experience to remember! This was my first visit (my wife has been before), and I can now see why she loves it so much. The famous chicken dinner was everything and more than I expected, crispy on the outside, juicy and flavourful on the inside, absolutely cooked to perfection. Every side dish that came with the meal was outstanding, but I especially have to mention the cold pasta salad, it was so good I had to go back for seconds! What makes this place shine is not only the food, but the experience as a whole. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a charming Bavarian feel that sets the tone for a wonderful meal. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, always checking in at the right times, and the food arrived hot, fresh, and in generous portions. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. I’m already looking forward to our next trip back to Frankenmuth, and another visit to the Bavarian Inn Restaurant is definitely at the top of the list!

F.B.I. (Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn) On the heels of Oktoberfest, I decided to finally review one of my all-time favorite German restaurants (and I am ~ 75% German in my DNA makeup so I have an affinity for their cuisine). This one needs some background story, so grab some popcorn and settle in. I used to work at this restaurant as a server for many years prior to my medical career. As a matter of fact, *everyone* in my immediate family has worked here, including both of my parents. And so I have a special connection with this spot. It is a 3 level behemoth of a complex with 3 floors, 7? dining rooms, and a complete suite of shops including your standard gift shop as well as a full bakery, wine, meat & cheese, etc. Frankenmuth is a very touristy town and Bavarian Inn and along with Zehnder’s, its sister restaurant across the road, they are the lifeblood of the town. A very busy enterprise and perpetually busy. They are most known for their all-you-can-eat fried chicken dinners as well as the assortment of German meats such as kassler ripchen, sauerbraten, bratwurst, weiner schnitzel, and more. My particular favorite is their chicken cordon bleu, which is a chicken breast stuffed with ham and swiss cheese, breaded & golden fried and served with a creamy white wine & carrot sauce. It is accompanied by potato puffs, which are basically tater tots but with mashed potato filling and cheese and then fried. It is so good and I have been eating this dish for 30+ years.

Very awesome place to attend if you are in the mood for entertainment and food! We are part of the birthday club which if you sign up ahead of time you receive a free family style meal! You can make reservations or wait if needed! But this is severed with beginning dishes main course and desert depending on what and how you order you can also single serve entries everything on the menu is fantastic having attended here since a child n now in my mid forties we have to come here at least a few times a year especially being roughly an hour away !

I don't get to Frankenmuth often, but The Bavarian Inn is my stop to eat. Great atmosphere, lots of people and a great vibe. Plus, the food is delicious. Great gift shop and desserts on lower level. Plenty of parking. Just drive around for a bit, and wait for a spot to open up.

A small little Ice Cream shop, located just off main Street. They serve Hudsonville ice cream. I saw last year a photo of Ice Cream Nachos that looked amazing. So when I saw they had this I had to get some. Basicaly a tray with 4 spots. One for Ice cream, one for waffle chips, one for a syrup, and lastly a topping ($7). I got soft server vanilla/chocolate swirl with caramel syrup and Captain crunch. It was good and a fun experience. I honestly don't know if I'd get it again, but it was worth it. The service was friendly and helpful. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? Absolutely.

This place was packed! Had to wait awhile in line but it went pretty fast and the workers had a good system going to stay on top of things. I got flavor burst ice cream and it was delicious!

Chocolate trifecta is not available. Went there specifically for that flavor. Shake I ordered was not mixed properly was expecting brownies to be crushed and I need not take a spoon for feed myself.

A large variety of flavors to choose from. There were also a few choices of non-dairy. Great prices for the serving size and friendly staff.

Icecream was good. Service wasn't. I got two scoops without even saying I wanted two. Actually I did want two DIFFERENT flavors! Girl had the second scooped out without asking me if I wanted something different. I was bummed.

Nice place. Lots of flavors to choose from including gluten free and dairy free options. .. and they have faygo pop. Love it.

This is THE place to get your ice cream in Frankenmuth. Lots and lots of flavours to choose from and it’s made by Hudsonville! You can get cones, milkshakes, banana splits and so much more. The place pumps the people through and it has a nostalgic vibe to it which makes me want to go back. I love the fact that it’s just off the main drag. Once you grab your ice cream, take a peek down Cass St, all American all the way.

The fried chicken is some of the best I've ever had! Definitely come here when you're really hungry! We did the family style. It's a little pricy but it is all you can eat. There were soup and appetizers that consisted of cottage cheese, coleslaw, bread and butter, fruit bread and a fruit spread. Then the chicken was served with squash, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and butter noodles. For dessert, they had soft serve ice cream. It was a lot of food and everything was so good! Highly recommend if you're looking for a good cooked meal! Our waitress was on it and quick. She had our drinks constantly refilled. Amazing food and service.

Wow this is totally not the quality of food that I remember. Visually, it’s still what we all remember, but like many of the other reviews… that chicken was gross. We tried to use the chicken seasoning on the table and that was more of something that you cook with and not what I would sprinkle on already made chicken. We tried both the fried chicken and the schnitzel and nope. When we left the restaurant, you could smell old, dirty frying oil In the air toward the rear of the building. All of the sides were good and what you would expect… the server was also nice… but what a disappointment as this was the main meal on our vacation up to Frankenmuth.

Absolutely the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Service is top notch! The chicken gravy could be soup of the day! Generous delicious portions! The slaw is great, the preserves were delicious! Highly recommended! The chicken was crispy and juicy but not greasy! Well seasoned, but a light sprinkle of the Zenders chicken seasoning kicks it up another notch! You can’t be close to this are without stopping in to see for yourself! It’s nestled in a beautiful little town with amazing scenery!!

Wow, what a fantastic experience. Food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch...amazing when you consider the size of the facility and the number of diners. Server was so pleasant and patient. Appetizers were unbelievable in numbers and quality, and the meals were scrumptious and plentiful. We messed up and didn't have their world famous signature chicken dinner. Next time for sure. Oh yes, go downstairs to check out the shops AND the bakery. Oh my:)

I’d heard so much about the famous chicken dinners in Frankenmuth—and now I understand the hype! The unlimited chicken dinner tasted like a comforting homemade meal, full of nostalgic flavors. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and every bite reminded me of something mom would make. We enjoyed nearly every side dish, with the exception of the stuffing. The cranberry sauce was a standout—bright, refreshing, and infused with notes of apple and orange. The cottage cheese was fresh and creamy, and the corn tasted sweet and crisp—not canned. The fresh bread paired beautifully with the chicken pâté, and the other cheese and vegetable spreads were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Every dish was well-balanced, never overly salty, and full of flavor. For just $30 per person, the quality and value were exceptional. My only regret? Not having more room to enjoy it all!

The BEST chicken dinner in Michigan. So much food, you will have lunch the next day. The Bakery is awesome. So many fresh bakes choices!

The amount of food you get and variety of items is always great. I'll have to try something new each time as an adult. The chicken, sausage, sauerkraut, sides and the (hard) strawberry cider all really hit the spot 😊 Sehr Güt!

Unique place. Love how they decorated it to look like you are in a French town. Food is also unique, kind of lacking flavor, but we keep coming back because it's unique. Service is strange as everyone is wearing masks like we're still in the COVID times.

Had the monaro (I think it’s called) so very good! Even had smoothie options and we had a sweet crepe with PB,Banana, chocolate for a dessert!! Very good and a cute date idea! Sunday wasn’t too busy but definitely expect a little bit of a wait, worth it because of the quality!

Crepes are served in paper wraps and if you get anything with something gooey (chocolate, caramel, etc), expect to have it dripping out and all over you. Crepes should be served on plates, with maybe the option of the cone for those who want to walk around. There was an extremely long wait, longer than they said. They told me 20 minutes, it was 40. I only ordered one crepe. One of the employees in the middle of this long wait took 10 minutes to clean two of the crepe cookers. I get it, they need cleaned, but she showed no signs of trying to do it quickly/efficiently. She was laughing and talking with another employee which probably attributed to taking awhile. Saw her pick and choose out of the pile of crepes waiting to be cooked, not sure why as they should be made in order received. I’ve only had crepes one other time…and it was delicious. These were simply “ok”. Probably won’t be back.

The crepes are served in a paper cone so just be aware. They were fresh and made fairly quickly. Tasted good but I do wish for an old-fashioned fruit style served on a plate.

I had no idea this place existed but my cousin told me about it so we checked it out and wow am i so glad we did! The service was very good and these crepes are sooo good! They are legit and you can watch them be made and all! 12/10 recommend checking out!

I've been here ten other times, but my husband hadn't eaten here yet. We each ordered a savory crepe for dinner, and for dessert, we each ordered a sweet dessert crepe. They were alright. I don't recommend the Reuben Crepe, and I was so looking forward to it ☹️, so I hate to even say anything - but my thinly-sliced 2 pieces of corned beef must have been MICROWAVED LITERALLY TO DEATH because it was literally BOILING HOT and all wavy and curled up; it was almost hard as a rock. I could not even eat the crepe because the meat was so hard and hot.... but I wanted to taste the swiss cheese and the thousand island dressing, so I decided to remove the overly-cooked meat from it. It wasn't a Reuben without any tender, succulent corned beef, but the cheesy crepe was okay. On a positive note, the Strawberry Cheesecake sweet crepe tasted delicious. To the staff: please please look at your cooking process of the corned beef - I would honestly LOVE to give you folks another chance to make me an AMAZING Reuben Crepe! ♥️krissy

Had a decent experience! The food was tasty and the ambience was pleasant. A nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

These are the most delicious beignets. You can get half a dozen for $11. There are a variety of sauces that you purchase separately. They are $2 a piece or 3 for $5. They had cinnamon, chocolate, and raspberry. I believe there was a 4th sauce but I cant remember maybe caramel. The customer service was great, she greeted us and explained the prices. It's a very small and cute shop that sells other things such as drinks and food too. Once you order, they make them fresh. They are super hot and loaded with powdered sugar. I got chocolate sauce with mine and it was so delicious. On the way to the car, I was craving more because they were that good. My kids loved them too.

This is usually my spot to stop on my way north or south. Love me some gumbo or jambalaya. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed. Jambalaya was really brothy, and just tasted like the gumbo, and the gumbo had way too much okra in it. It was super slimy, and this is not the quality I’m used to. Butter beers for $8 months were flat… Will try again on my next drive through. Spent $50ish on food and drink, and now as sorely disappointed. Did not finish the food.

Loved the gator bites, they were cooked good and seasoned great. I had them with the Cancun dipping sauce; I definitely recommend. I also had gumbo, however the gumbo was not seasoned properly, I was quite disappointed ☹️ however the gator bites will make me purchase again! Only the bites for me through, I will pass on drinks, and soup. I did not try the sweets so I can’t give you an honest rating- other than they did look appealing and smelt delicious. The service was great 😊

An amazing little find. Located inside the River Shops right next to the arcade. On such a hot day, the cool, refreshing frozen mocha and bubble tea were so good. The beignets are fantastic as well and this is an absolute must stop if you are in the area.

Food quality was ok flavor was good but there gumbo was a little slimy and I had a piece of bone in my gumbo.. a little crazy for almost $25 worth of food and a $5 tip. So be careful while chewing. It stabbed my gums and I'm lucky thats all it did.

Don’t waste your time or money. Went here yesterday and order gumbo(no shrimp or crayfish) a couple sausages and 1 piece of chicken. It was pretty much rice and it was so spicy. Gave me horrible diarrhea. I throw over half of it away. the gator I feel is false advertising as the picture on the menu shows a huge plate of it for $19. What I got was a tiny snack size box. I also order a fountain drink ($5). They wouldn’t refill it. So for $35 I got spicy rice soup, a couple pieces of gator and a drink. Would not recommend this place. We ended up going someone else to get more food.

Usually my first stop when I visit The ‘Muth, for the Beignets. Always really good.

Staff encounters have always been ultra friendly, ladies in there have a great disposition and are very welcoming.

Super big selection of candies (some I’ve never heard of which makes coming in all the more fun) and so many flavors of yummy to choose from with the milkshakes and ice cream :)

We went here to pick out some candy and my daughter who is on the spectrum wouldn't and couldn't get over getting a gum ball out of the machine. I didn't have any cash or quarters and I told her that but she kept venturing back to the gumball machine and asking, one of the employees here must've heard her begging and asking and brought me a quarter from the take a penny/leave a penny. This small gesture meant a lot and this employee deserves a pat on the back. ❤️ We will be back to buy more candy because of it. Huge selection and also we were stoked on the bulk pez and all the different cotton candies!

Cool shop with about a zillion different flavors of cotton candy. However, my kids got the strawberry lemonade frooties, the candy that is supposed to be chewy like tootsie rolls and they were brick hard. Please check your inventory and replace with fresh ones. They are pretty solid rock.

Thought that the candy selection was good. Nice to see some old fashioned candy. Unfortunately the workers did not greet or thank me but greeted and thanked the customers that came in after me. Also the candy is not weighed by itself. So you end up paying almost 0.50 cents for the container. Will probably not be coming back!

I love taffy so I was super excited to visit. Great variety of taffy for a great price. I like the, fill your own bag option. Best of all, there are other non-taffy treats which made my wife happy. The pecan turtles are impressive. The young lady working was very pleasant, welcoming and helpful.

I chose to do the “pick your own” small bag for $8.99 (crazy!!) some of the pieces had a weird texture, not taffy at all. (No pull, not chewy, more like mushy/crumbly ) maybe they are old? Or made wrong? Not sure. (The cream/brown swirl, green/pink swirl possibly watermelon and the pink/white swirl one, all bad) The pieces are also small, some of the papers they are wrapped in had tears in them that i didn’t see until I got home with them. I Won’t buy taffy there again.

I loved watching how Taffy was made and the Pomegranate Blueberry flavor they let us sample was soo good.

Worst taffy I have ever had. Not a good flavor and texture is all wrong. Gritty and not stretchy. Reminded me of gum base. Also, way overpriced. I paid $3.40 for the small pictured amount less the two that I ate before tossing them in the trash. Yes, it was that bad. Will never go back.

February 2, 2019. Purchased a box of Taffy. Filled it with many flavors. Cashiers were friendly. Greeted with smiles. Favorite is peppermint so far.

O So So many Flavors there all Very good. The store is Clean and the staff is very knowledgeable and Pleasant.

Popped in early on a Saturday for breakfast. The fresh homemade cinnamon roll was perfect. The biscuits and honey were just like grandma made. The food was fresh and well made. There is limited seating inside so get there early or prepare to wait. But it is worth it!

We heard all kinds of reviews that this is the place to go while downtown. They are usually super busy, and we waited for 15 minutes, with a typical wait time of an hour during the peak season. The food is delicious, including the elk sausage, with a unique taste. The staff was friendly and helped us with a dinner selection that was on point. Cash is preferred, as is a local small business, but credit cards are accepted. Parking is in the back.

First time checking out Honey B's, and we were very impressed. Get here early or you will probably have to wait, we had to wait a minute for another server to arrive which was fine and we got a great table with a window overlooking town. We ordered the Wild Game Bowl and the Honey B Hash. Portion size was very large, and everything tastes amazing. Always appreciate a smaller menu. Clean and welcoming environment, waitstaff did very well for such a small space and are very accommodating. Only negative is it is definitely "Frankenmuth prices." We wouldn't mind paying a little less for a little less food. We'll be back here.

Everything from the food, to the decor, and the staff was phenomenal. First thing I noticed when I sat at the bar top was most of (if not all) the spirits appeared to be from MI distilleries and the bottled/can drinks were from MI breweries. Their website also endorses that they use MI sustainable farming when they can. The absolutely delightful bartender (shame on me for not getting her name) suggested I start with a cinnamon roll. Originally, I declined but changed my mind and I am so glad I did! I followed up my breakfast dessert with the Billy breakfast bowl with braised pork. Both items were absolutely sensational! From my seat at the bar I also noticed a duck breakfast hash and blueberry pancakes come out. I can only imagine they taste as great as they looked. Even though Honey B's is about an hour away from me. I will gladly make the trip again one day and will be stopping in anytime I am in the area. I can't wait to try some more of their menu! Well done!

We arrived during peak brunch on a Saturday. We were seated for a table of 6 with in 30 min and had our food after ordering with in 20 min. The unique flavors and homey atmosphere made it feel like I was eating at my grandma’s on a beautiful fall day. The pancakes are the size of an adults head so just know you will be taking a box home to enjoy more breakfast later.

This is quiet little place away from the busy heart of Frankenmuth. We were the Saturday of dog bowl weekend. There was no indoor seating allowed that day but there were shady outdoor tables. The menu is quite limited (short) and was even shorter because at 4:30 pm some of the options (beef brisket, bison and cornbread) were sold out. My husband enjoyed the Michigan craft beer. The portions were small by American standards but the food was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the spicy bbq sauce with the pulled pork. There is sadly no gluten free menu. The staff was attentive and friendly.

We had some extra time before the shops opened around town. So we settled on trying this quaint little restaurant. The famous cinnamon roll did not disappoint. But the main breakfast food was even better. We would definitely come here again if we get back up that way. The steak and eggs I had were fabulous.

My first time visiting this Chocolate Haus. It was so many chocolate covered items to choose from. I kept it simple and purchased 2 dark chocolate peanut butter patties. They were delicious! A perfect blend of peanut butter and dark chocolate. Inside the shop was quaint and it smelled good! I would visit again if I ever go back to Frankenmuth.

We love Zak & Mac's! Excellent chocolate, awesome service, and a fun, clean store. My kids got the cup of strawberry with melted chocolate on top and it was incredible. Then we bought chocolate covered peanuts and other types of chocolate, all very yummy. My favorite were the chocolate dinosaurs! What a cool gift idea. Oh and they make the best cocoa bombs as well. We visit Zak & Mac's everytime we visit Frankenmuth.

I was so disappointed in my purchase! I bought eight of the sea salt caramel chocolate toffees. The caramel is all crystallized and the toffee is soft. They aren't even worth eating. I would love to get a refund for my purchase. Edit: Thank you very much for sending me a new batch of toffee! I appreciate your prompt action! The new toffee is delicious!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The chocolate is delicious, and the fresh strawberries are amazing. The lady working there is super welcoming, always smiling, and makes you feel right at home. The store is spotless and inviting. Highly recommended—I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

To think that a few days old fudge tastes so much better than fresh fudge, this is the place to do it. Had the raspberry fudge, double chocolate (I think), dark sea salt caramel. I would recommend sticking with the chocolatey ones. The raspberry, although good, would rate better as a chocolate base in my opinion. The one everyone has to try is the sea salt caramel. I think my mind was blown how good it was. The subtle saltiness cuts down the intense richness of the fudge just enough and the caramel, gives it that different sweetness to the fudge and just made it so tasty. It took days for me to finish the chocolate and raspberry ones, but the sea salt caramel just finished everything so quickly! This one is also one of the best sellers as recommended by the employee working. With that being said, employee was super friendly and gave service with a smile. Explained the best flavours and fave is recommendations. Love the feel of the location as it gave off a d diner vibe with the bright red and white interior colours. Definitely recommend for getting fudge, especially if you can’t get to Mackinac. Great job overall!

If you love chocolate, you will love it here! The fudge is so good! They also have ice cream and other tasty treats. The employees were very friendly.. We will definitely stop here if we ever come back.

Very tasty ice cream and had a wide variety of chocolate & sweets. Def recommend trying out diff ice cream flavors. It was also such a fun place to see! :D

Me and a friend enjoyed our 2 hour float trip through beautiful Frankenmuth. Rates are very reasonable.and the staff from the phone reservation to the gentleman that helped us into the kayak was very kind. Definitely would do this trip again.

This was one of the best things we did during our trip to Frankenmuth. The boat ride was quiet, slow and relaxing. Everyone we encountered were nice and helpful -Michael and Brianna were also great and we appreciated the bits of information about Frankenmuth given throughout the ride. We ended up buying a couple bottles as well as some chocolates. If we are back in the area we would go again, the cost is definitely worth it!

We recently took a wheelchair bound family member on this boat trip and FunShips couldn’t have been more accommodating. The owner, Eric made sure that our guy was taken care of and safe throughout. The wine and chocolates were great and there are plenty of options for the kids too. I highly recommend this boat tour if you want something fun to do in Frankenmuth. We’ll be back!

This boat tour was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The boat leader and the server were super friendly, answering all our questions and treating us like friends. The one-hour ride was enjoyable, with great wine and chocolate—I even came back the next day to buy four bottles to support them. It was an awesome time, and I highly recommend it. I will definitely make this tour part of my schedule every time I visit this town.

Great experience kayaking the Cass River!! Very easy process of drop off and pick up! Would highly recommend for a fun 3 hour paddle.

We had a party of 9 and had the whole boat to ourselves. What a Great experience. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. The chocolate is excellent as well as the wined and great juice were very good. The trip was perfect and fun from beginning to end. I definitely recommend the Fun Ships and have already booked a return visit.

We had a great time on the wine and chocolate tasting boat tours. We got to sail down the Cass river for about an hour, and tried 6 wines and chocolates on the boat. We got to keep the wine glasses and tried more wine back at the dock. All of the wines and chocolates we tried were available at the store for very cheap. I recommend the Frankenmuth Red, while my husband loves the peach wine

A good shop for a quick meal / snack that Michigan is known for. Came for the pasty since this is one of Michigan’s famous known for foods. Essentially a patty stuffed with different fillings. We got the yooper beef, cheesy potato and chicken pot pie, which is one of each of the ones they sell. The pastry itself was so buttery and blended well with each filling. The beef was a little dry but it was countered with that buttery pastry. The fave for the family has to be the cheesy potato. Nice and creamy with the cheese and filling from the potatoes. Service was great as they didn’t rush us into making any decisions and they also have a fridge of different bobas and popping bubbles, which I was really tempted to just buy one to go with a drink. They have so many different flavours that you would not normally see anywhere else, which was nice. There isn’t much of indoor seating to eat, but there is a few tables outside and an indoor seating area where the river place shops restaurant is by n’orlins beignets Great job overall

We had a really good lunch here, service was very fast and both our pasty and bubble teas were excellent. We had a Yooper and a Potato Cheese, and they were both excellent. The bill for 3 adults was less than $40 and the portions were generous. The seating was outdoors and very cute.

This place is great! The boba is great and at a great price. My only critique is that they dont have a larger size! Service is good as well, they are more interested in getting your drink out to you than anything else so you decide if that is a good thing or bad, i for one dont mind as its always pleasant, quick, and good when i go!

Half Pasty store and half Boba Tea store. There is a freezer to the left when you enter with a dozen varieties of frozen pasties to choose from plus a few dessert options. I got a Steak n Potato, a meat lovers, a cheeseburger, 2 pulled pork, and a pumpkin pie pasty. All were approximately $7. I didn't have a chance to try the Boba, so can't say anything about that. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Yes I will.

We got Orange Creamsicle bubble tea, and 2 frozen Pasties-1 chicken Pot pie and 1 Reuben. Everything was absolutely delicious. We have found one of our new favorite places to go to when we visit Frankenmuth.

Absolutely amazing! My favorite place to go when i want some great boba/bubble tea! The staff are amazing and I've never had food from there before however I imagine that it will taste just as good as the boba.

Their Yooper pasty is not what I would call a Yooper pasty. There is no rutabaga, and the flavor was ok. I've had better, granted it was in or at least closer to the UP. Staff were great!

Continuing with the German vibe and old school feeling is the Zehnder’s market / cafe. It’s situated in the basement area of the zehnders restaurant and while walking through the house, you will also pass by a gift shop which is nice for some souvenirs The market has fresh bakery items, as well as bottled sauces and preserves as well as a full quick service menu. I opted for the bakery section as I already knew what I wanted to get from here. They have a giant donut, the size of your face or larger. Usually it’s gonna be a little harder than your regular donut for something this size. Also usually, it will tastyeats more cake like. Happy to say this gigantic donut was still soft even after a 5 hour drive home. I think it could’ve been a little bit more sweet, but having it not too sweet is actually so much better, especially if you’re having it with a coffee Service was quick. Didn’t have to wait around long to be cashed out as there’s a few pay stations available. They have on site parking for the restaurant and market so it’s pretty easy to get parking. But it does get pretty full in the lot too. Great job overall

One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to! Highly recommend the glazed jelly filled donut and the Apple fritter. The donuts are HUGE! The pastries are one of kind. The cookies are so good and only .95 each. Prices are great here for what you get! They have a huge selection of jellies and mustards. I recommend going in the evening before they close to get discounted items!

Very fresh baked goods. We dined upstairs but would go to the market place next time. The food upstairs was expensive and pretty nasty.

Strudel highly recommend, but the raised cookie tasted like too much dough! Very disappointed in it. I make these from my grosma's old recipe..German of course and they are delicate and sweet. These are not the same! Thick dough light on fillings. Other than my disappointment its a great bakery. Tons to choose from! Service was stellar.

These little stores were some of my favorites! They had so much to check out and shop around for downstairs and it blew me away! They had a jewelry shop, an incredible bakery with mouth watering donuts and pastries, and lots of gift stores! 10/10 would recommend checking out!

Purchased some apple raisin bread my favorite but there is no expiration date on it and when I went to it is it was stale and has mold growing on the end of it.

Delicious beyond words- candy treats & sweets, pastries, cakes, breads and gifts. Grab something to take home after your delicious meal. It’s located on the lowest level. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Restrooms are easy access.

2nd bad experience at this location! The first time, the ice cream selection was extremely limited due to an employee's mistake earlier that day. This excuse was passed along to us by another employee and we simply altered our orders to what was available (basically sweet cream and no toppings). 2nd poor experience was due to location closing early but leaving OPEN sign on. We were left quite confused as we saw group of people in the building although lights were off and OPEN sign was on. Within minutes the group of people ran out to their cars and left. The building looked abandoned by whatever employee had been working and it was 2 hours prior to closing. Needless to say, I have little desire to return to this Coldstone location. It is poorly run and an embarrassment to the brand.

Ordered my first ice cream cake and loved it. Super easy to order online at least 24 hr notice. They had it done quickly and called to apologise and ask about substituting an option. Thank you!

Worst experience I've ever had with a restaurant. Drove AN HOUR for a cake that I got confirmation for. They won't pick of their phone at all to the point of having a full voice-mail. Tried calling before we left and after we got there. Got a very forced "I'm sorry " ZERO effort was made to make this right and will be leaving another review for every day it takes to do so. AN HOUR DRIVE FOR A "Nothing we can do" and a shrug.

Staff was friendly but the icecream selection was very limited and their shake machine has been broken for months apparently. Managment needs to step up and get this place working again so their staff doesn't have to make excuses for them.

Our local Cold Stone is not great. We visited this one and they made our ice cream, all 4 of them great. Everything was mixed in well.

It is a really good place to get ice cream but if you have a gift card it takes 5 mins to process.

The guy that made our ice cream bowls and my coffee did a fantastic job. He was a very hard worker
