There were four of us that stumble upon this little gelato shop in the heart of downtown Davis. The young lady that served us and treated us to free samples were all smile. We ended up getting the regular size. We can combine flavors so I opted for honey lavender and cappuccino. Other flavors we tasted were good including coppa mista, tiramisu, creme brûlée and dark chocolate. It is definitely a place to go to for gelato after a nice lunch or dinner or after the movies!

Great place for gelato in Davis. Very small place that's semi-attached to Varsity theater. Various flavors, pistachio is one of my favorites. Definitely prefer this more than most ice cream. They do have some tables outside of sit too.

Wow, it looks like it tastes so good and Riley williams professionally scooped it and had it ready for pick up and didnt even charge me. Would’ve given six stars but I couldn’t taste it cause covid so just five stars sorry

I got green tea and pistachio, it was very meh. Maybe other flavors are more flavorful. Also kinda pricey for the amount given.

It was one of the best ice cream places I have ever tried. I absolutely adored the honey lavender flavor and the little piece of cone that come with each order. I actually ended up sampling a lot of the flavors there before I got my two scoops and everything was delicious. It was hard to make a decision!

If you love gelato then you must try this place. Connected to the Varsity theater, it's quite a wonderful treat to be able to have some delicious cold concoction. My favorite flavors are the tiramisu and the honey lavender. Feel free to ask the friendly staff to sample any flavors you may ponder because there are some gems in there.

Was craving for the usual: strawberry puff pastry, mango, peach, coffee cake and crepe, but seemed that we came in a little too late so we only got few things. But the breakfast pizza, coffee cake and crepe are still great as I remembered. So that was satisfying. Lastly since we came in a little late for the day we weren't able to pick up the Gloria's mousse cake nor the orange cake so we just got one of each of the remaining pastries and asked one of the helpful ladies to beautifully packed them like a cake which was perfect and was enjoyed by everyone. They are always busy and if its your first time here, they really have great pastries so thats never a concern for us. Plus their breakfast menu's just enough as well since we're not into having a heavy fulfilling breakfast, so if that's your thing, you will not be satisfied here. As always the staff are extremely helpful

An exceptional experience in European cuisine... Konditorei has the very finest pastry, coffee, and fanciful cakes & tarts of all kinds. That's not to mention the wide array of delicious house made gelato they have. Do not miss their excellent array of savory breakfast options as well, including their Austrian style pizzas. Yum! My family has found our absolute favorite Davis Cafe. We come here often. The courtyard dining area is lovely, and the service is second to none. A memorable taste of the Alps awaits you.

Famous for their spinach and cheese croissants and it's obvious why. Using European cream cheese which is both salty and tangy and spinach to give some color the contrast between the sweet flaky puff pastry and the filling is amazing and perfect. I also got the plum tart which was so lovely. The color, the glaze, the creamy vanilla sauce. I also got the Austrian donut which is a donut with chocolate drizzled on top with almosds, and a custard and berry filling. My friend got the strawberry pastry and a powdered super croissant. The only thing I didn't like about this bakery? The dishwater smell in the air that would not go away even after an hour and a half. Other than that? I loved everything else about Konditorei

A wonderful small diner type bakery. There are plenty of desserts cakes and pastries available to order and as well as a breakfast/lunch menu containing sandwiches, pizzas and soups. The cakes are perfectly sweetend and absolutely delicious!

Excellent! Great lattes, americanos, and the pastries are superb. I have bought the cakes before and they are absolutely amazing, the tiramisu is perfect. Good inside and outside seating. I highly recommend.

A true Austrian bakery, die Konditorei is by far the best place in Davis for cakes and pastries. Excellent quality, great variety and always delicious flavors. Is it expensive? Yes! But I'm always happy to spend money here. If you're looking for quality desserts this is the place to be.

Amazing pastries and wonderful atmosphere. The chef is a master and this cafe is the perfect place to kick off a start to your day.

1/5 edible Lego hurt my teeth In all seriousness, this place is amazing. The staff are nice, the place is inviting, the location is great, and I don't even have to mention the yogurt for four stars. But they serve yogurt. And BOY, do they serve YOGURT. Six flavor options a day. Dozens of toppings, hot, cold and in between. Fruits. Chocolates. Sauces. Gummies. Edible Lego. They got it all, people. And it's all delicious. Slap some in a cup, get it weighed, hand over around 10 bucks, and go enjoy in the park. A couple complaints, none enough to drop my rating. The yogurt is a little expensive, but the rewards card and quality make it worth it. Why are the tips so high? You didn't do much, and if I wanted to pay another two dollars, I'd get more froyo. Gets cramped during peak business hour.

Yolo Berry Yogurt in Davis CA it’s a great frozen yogurt place with wide selection of toppings. They have different kind of gummy, popping boba, mochi, fresh fruits in addition to pie fillings and syrup toppings. As a plus they got couple of dairy free options for the people with dietary restrictions as myself. Also you can get a card and collect stamps for free yogurt when you get enough of it. There are limited indoor and plenty outdoor seating with the park across the street. Street parking is available free of charge. It’s a fun place with great service to visit with kids. Definitely a place to visit again.

Family friendly, lots of yogurt flavors and a wide variety of toppings. Across the street from the Davis Farmers Market, which has several parks for the kids and a huge greenbelt area for dogs to run around in.

My favorite frozen yoghurt place of all time! The topping selection is always amazing and they have a great rewards system. Especially love the cheescake bites, fresh fruit, popping boba, and mochi!

Nice chill Yogurt place. Not crazy expensive and they have a punch card. There is a wide variety of toppings with only a handful of flavors. I prefer to not have option paralysis, so having a smaller amount is something I actually prefer.

This is my favorite frozen yogurt place around. It's not so much the frozen yogurt itself, but all of the toppings they offer, which is the biggest selection I have ever seen. They have pretty much every kind of gummy candy and popular candy bars in addition to pie fillings and syrup toppings. But my favorite is the cold toppings including mochi, three different kinds of juice poppers and lots of fresh fruit options. I always top my yogurt off with a lychee which I've never seen at any other frozen yogurt place. All seating is outdoors and there is plenty of it with the park across the street. Parking is all free street parking and spaces are at a 90° angle.

I came in today to take my daughter for ice cream 🍦 after her soccer game. I didn’t hear the young man calling for the next person to be served, and the lady who was sweeping suddenly yelled “Next person!” at me. She looked upset and stressed — I understand she might have been having a rough day, but a little kindness goes a long way. I told the young man I hadn’t heard him and apologized. He seemed stressed too. I’m not taking it personally, but please remember to be kind — especially when customers, like my daughter and I, are just trying to enjoy a nice Saturday ice cream treat.

This place is a must-visit if you like ice cream‼️They have a variety of flavors, and the one I keep coming back for is the Coffee Oreo😻😻I also suggest trying the waffle cone!

I tried a few flavors and it was good. The best deal is the flight of 4 flavored ice cream for $7.75. Flavors were basic, but it was good.

Man, I had a coworker introduced me to this place (Anh, you're the best) and the drive from North Natomas to Davis to hit up Davis Cremery is well worth it for me. ❤️

I am really going to miss this place now that I’m leaving Davis. The quality and variety of ice cream is top notch. Service is fast even when the line runs out the door! I wish the outdoor eating area/parklet were kept in better condition as it always feels dirty and the garbage cans are full. I usually get mine to go. There is no indoor seating.

Local favorite that is known for their avocado coconut. They have a wide range of rotating flavors that are rather unique like root beer and sweet potato casserole. Each person can have 2 samples. Fun story: the owner lost a poker hand against friends so he invented the avocado coconut flavor

We ordered our wedding cake from here and it was an amazing experience. We worked with Alyssa who was very responsive, arranged a great cake tasting for us, helped us choose the design, and was open to making changes to the design throughout the process. All the flavors at the tasting were delicious and it was hard to choose just one, but in the end we chose the Boston Tea Party flavor and it was a hit. All our wedding guests loved it! The Let Them Eat Cake team worked well with our wedding venue (Scribner Bend) and the whole process of cake delivery, decoration, and display went very smoothly. Overall we couldn't be happier with how our wedding cake turned out!

Thanks to one of us being gluten-free, we were a little stressed over where to source our wedding cake from since so few bakeries create gluten-free goodies. Let Them Eat Cake does gluten-free cakes and cupcakes, and they are incredible. Working with Alyssa was so easy. We picked out flavors for our tasting and she made them all gluten-free. The cake was so moist and the texture was just right, and we had a hard time deciding. We ultimately went with Purple Rain for our spring wedding since it was a lighter flavor. To her credit, our guests had no idea the cake was gluten-free, that’s how incredible the quality was! We will be making a special trip back here for our anniversary for more cake!

I stopped in on my way to celebrate my friend's birthday. I didn't know it was tucked in fraternity row. I enjoyed the ambience of the shop. You could look across and see a farmer's market. I did think there might be cakes and cupcakes but there were only cupcakes. Maybe I arrived to late in the day. Overall the bakery case was somewhat full. The cupcakes were pretty tasty. Downside the frosting was a tad sweet on a couple. I'd go back.

My wife and I have fond memories of grabbing desserts from Let Them Eat Cake during our college days in Davis. When planning our wedding, we wanted to support a local business we knew and loved for our special day -- this was the perfect place. Alyssa is incredibly creative and dedicated in her love of making desserts. We had a fun experience trying all the delicious flavors of cakes that Let Them Eat Cake had to offer. On our wedding day, Alyssa not only made multiple flavored cakes for us, but she also helped us create a special Strawberry Milkshake inspired cupcake tribute for my wife’s late grandmother. The cupcakes and cakes looked amazing and were well enjoyed by our wedding guests. If there is a custom flavor of dessert you want made, there is no doubt Alyssa can create it for you, as she did for us. There is a wide range of scrumptious desserts at Let Them Eat Cake to satisfy everyone’s needs, including vegan! We highly recommend this place whether you're looking for a quick treat or planning desserts for your next event!

The most moist and delicious GF red velvet cupcake I've EVER had. The cream cheese frosting was like a PUDDING! You have to try one to see for yourself! They have many GF options, but they keep them in their back freezer. Since I was dining in, the sales clerk offered to defrost my cupcake for me. It was exquisite!

Great vegan cupcakes! (4/5 green stars also) On a Saturday afternoon there were no customers inside – perhaps they were all burned out after the farmers’ market. My feeling is that it’s a nice space and should have more custom – I know it’s summer break at UCD, but Temple Coffee was busy when I passed by. Here’s my unsolicited advice to LTEC: Perhaps what you need is some really good coffee to go with your cakes – good beans and a proper coffee counter. Also, put on some music – it’s too quiet. I bought their vegan S’mores cupcake to go ($3.25). It turned out to be very good. Good texture, fresh, and with a decadent topping (which is what a cupcake is all about). I don’t normally go for very sweet cakes, and although the topping was sweet I found it to be nicely balanced. Baked fresh, no preservatives, gluten-free also available (and gluten-free + vegan together). Recommended. I’m also giving Let Them Eat Cake 4/5 “green stars” for social and environmental impact, based on these reasons: • They have vegan offerings that are well-made. • The chap was going to pack my cupcake into a plastic clamshell until I said I’d just take it as-is. I know that it’s fairly common to pack cupcakes like this but it would be nice if they had a simple cardboard box instead. • They can make organic cupcakes upon request. • Can also use cage-free eggs upon request. Fast and friendly service, and plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from. Small interior with limited seating if you want to sit, but there are some outdoor tables if you don’t mind sitting in the hot Davis weather. Can be hard to find a parking spot in downtown Davis, especially on the weekends.

One of the best go to places when the weather is super hot outside! The staff are always super nice and friendly. The ice cream are tasty and if you’re lactose intolerant, this place is totally worth it. They sometime can help organizations with fundraising.

We ordered an Oreo ice-cream cake for my daughter's 9th birthday this month. The decorator totally exceeded our expectations with the details! It tasted as great as it looked! All I can say is thank you for making her day special! Don't hesitate to order your yummy ice-cream cakes here!

We stopped by on a Monday night (9/26/22) and we had a large group with about 12 people. Emily and Harrison took great care of us . We had small children , teens and older adults in our group and they catered to all of us. The shop was sparkling clean for and evening visit, it was impeccable in my opinion. The service here last night was amazing! They employees were super friendly and welcoming! My girlfriend and I got a couple of scoops and they were generous with the portion size which was awesome! The inside of the place was super clean too!

I placed an order for a birthday cake at this place. Typically, I don't include ice cream for birthdays, but this time, I thought I'd try it. It turned out to be delicious and of high quality. What made the experience even better was the friendly and helpful staff. Although I initially opted for a cake without sprinkles, following a staff suggestion to add something similar made the cake outstanding and beautiful. Thanks to her!

Enjoyed it, I hadn't had Italian ice in years. I wish the server had made a more even ratio of the flavors though. There was almost as much cherry as there was of the other two flavors I chose combined.

Italian ice, custards, and crepes. A cute shop with a few tables. Greeted when I walked in and there were a lot of people at the shop too. Also if there are crepes being made, you're able to smell the sweetness when you walk in. So many different flavors, so you're able to make any ice combinations. Ordered a Nutella strawberry banana crepe with whip creme and mixed custard on the side ($13.03 with tax) which are made in house, the crepe was super light and tasted delicious. The prices for Italian ice starts at $4, mango and strawberry is always my go to. Awesome place to go for some unique desserts.

Perfect place for a sweet treat! The staff working today were very friendly and patient with us deciding what to get. I got the Cherrylime and hubby got the strawberry mango. The soft serve ice cream was delicious! Then you get to the shaved ice and that custard; 🔥! Looking forward to going again & trying new flavors.

After a fun day out for my bday, I found this little shop and couldn't resist. They had ice cream and shaved ice options or the combination of the two. It's unique and I loved the variety of options. I shared a strawberry parfait with my husband and we both found it absolutely delightful. The server was very nice, shop was cute and very clean, and I would definitely come again!

This is my favorite dessert place in Davis. The shaved ice with custard on top is so unique I haven't seen it sold anywhere else so that's why I keep coming back. The ice is always so flavorful and not too sweet. The custard is super smooth and creamy as well.
