What an excellent idea, baby bites. The perfect size for when you are craving something sweet. They have so many flavors to choose from, it's impossible to walk away with just one. I ordered four bites: strawberry, Italian cream, red velvet, and caramel. I enjoyed each flavor, the cake was very moist and each icing was delicious. You have free parking in front of the shop and the service was very friendly. In addition to cakes, you can purchase daily prepared meals, beverages, and greeting cards.

I really enjoy the pastries but the customer service is consistently terrible. This is one of those scenarios where I would rather order ahead (if it was an option) and not have to deal with anyone because the people behind the counter clearly don’t want to be there and they clearly don’t want me there either.

My daughter went there yesterday August 5th 2025 at noon to pick up some cakes for my birthday. She said the two girls working in there were so rude and unhelpful. That is no way to run a business.

These cake bites are very tasty…in moderation of course! My favorite is the chocolate with yellow batter. My family likes the marble and vanilla the best. Delicious!

My family loves the Baby Bites. Some of their favorites are the red velvet and the caramel flavors. On my visits, the staff has been friendly and on only one occasion was there a line. Parking can be a little uncomfortable but well worth the effort.

Outstanding! Great experience. Had a great meal and a great time the menu and the food is superb. The staff is wonderful better than some of their competitors and those other higher end places. One of the best restaurants in Birmingham. I will definitely be on the return to this place. The bar staff is amazing. The hosts are very welcoming and great and even assist at bar seating and other options. The Food's a little bit more higher and so that comes with price. They do upsell drinks, but it's worth the experience. My only feedback is the fries were horrible and nasty. Other than that everything was excellent.

A French restaurant in Alabama with authentic French food? Oui, oui! Service was attentive and the timing was spot on. Loved my cocktail, the Indochine. We shared the salad Fonfon, escargot, butternut squash soup of the day (one of the best I’ve ever had), and the smoked salmon tartine. For dinner we had the coq au vin, grilled lamb, gulf fish with ratatouille, and the fish special (swordfish). All the dishes were bursting with flavor and the cooks on the meat and fish were to perfection. For dessert, we had the coconut pecan cake, and it was marvelous. Thank you for transporting me back to France! This was a meal I will relish for a long time.

This place is known for many things. One of those things is the burger. When I tell you, it is a must have I truly mean this. Very excellent work staff and a stellar ambience great for lunch and dinner will definitely be back all the way from Texas!

Solo lunch stop on vacation. I got a table quick at just before 1130. As a solo dinner I didn't get told the specials and noticed the couple next to me getting the menu run down The prices were high for what I got. The kitchen gor slammed and it was a long wait between courses. The couple next to me got an apology and a comp salad and I was left waiting Reservations recommended. The burger and steak fries looked great. My salad and dessert were fantastic. I saw the Croque Madame and glad I didn't order it as it looked less like a traditional sandwich I would return but definitely wouldn't order the tartare or escargot again. They just weren't worth it. They were too far from what I would expect elsewhere

Service and food were amazing!! I still think about this steak! I wish I could come more often! The only con is that it’s incredibly hard to get a reservation, but if you are able to…jump on the opportunity to eat here!

Excellent service! We didn’t have a reservation and it was a Saturday night. They sat us right away, but let us know there was a 7 pm reservation. The food came out quickly. The server knew his cheese & wines. He made excellent recommendations. Highly recommend!

I have been here once. I made a reservation for my wife and I, which was honored immediately upon arrival. We were quickly seated and drink orders taken. Excellent wine selection and delicious food. Burger was great and my wife loved their quiche. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality dining experience in Birmingham, AL.

Wonderfully cute & sweet place, staff, & treats! Very well advertised for the “Pop Floats” by the brunette baby there, we decided to try some & well worth it! No where near as overpriced as I assumed. 2 “Pop Floats” 2 Ice cream Bars = $21 🤷🏻‍♀️ not too bad 🍦 Well worth the adventure if you’re around! 🍨 Mexican Food next door did majority of business in parking lot, we will have to go there soon!

Steel City Pops is a great, refreshing treat on a warm summer day. The vanilla bean and coconut are my favorites. My hubby like the Arnold Palmer. There is something for every pallet. Be sure to check them out.

I got the coconut with caramel drizzle and Graham crackers crumbs. Husband got the strawberry and creme with white chocolate drizzle and toasted coconut. Was delicious! A bit pricy but great refreshing treat.

Delicious cold pops with some nice flavors. Be sure to ask for a sample if you're undecided. Strawberry Shortcake and Hibiscus were good. Looking forward to SCP perhaps trying some ambitious combinations like coconut-lime or Mexican hot chocolate.

Delicious popsicles with many different flavor and topping options! I brought my entire mission team tonight and received great service! Kate was the only person on shift, and she handled our entire crew efficiently and with such kindness! She made our experience even better! Highly recommend.

Love, love, love this place. I've never had a bad one. But if you do they'll give you another one. Shared Strawberry Lemonade with my 7 yr old granddaughter tonight and we both agreed it's a great summer flavor. 2 thumbs up!

Steel City Pops is one of the MUST DO places when we visit Birmingham! No other "gourmet" popsicle place can compare. You can taste the quality ingredients! Their dedication to creating small batches, using the best and freshest ingredients really shines through. I can honestly say I've enjoyed every flavor I've ever had, including Pine! You have to check out Christmas flavors! They rotate, so there's no telling if you'll get wassail, gingerbread, eggnog, peppermint, Apple cinnamon, pomegranate, or any of the many other holiday flavors! Don't worry, they'll have many of the tried and true faves there as well, like buttermilk, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry lemonade, and many more. There's something for everyone, as long as you like frozen sweet treats!

Advertising breakfast until 2pm yet the kitchen is closed at 10:45 on a Saturday to “prepare for lunch”. We couldn’t even get toast. Quite possibly the poorest service I’ve experienced in Birmingham in recent memory. Despite not needing to cook or prepare a thing, it still took over 15 minutes to get the cold danishes. Add to that, the tables were filthy and they didn’t offer a plate of any kind. I can’t find any reason to come back. Congrats on being hip while your core job (serving food) fails miserably. At least it seems like some love was put into the actual prep and they use quality ingredients.

Where do I start?! Honestly I didn’t have high expectations when I arrived here. It seemed more like a neighborhood spot that people frequented not particularly because it was good but because it was spacious, available, and easy to get to. Well I was wrong. While insider is spacious and cozy they are absolutely worth the visit for both locals and outsiders. I arrived early in the morning and the case was fully stocked and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions, even obvious ones, and never seemed disgruntled or bothered. I ordered two cookies, the bacon egg and cheese sour dough breakfast “focaccia “ , and a coffee. Coffee was just what I needed to start my morning. Fresh, hot, and soothing. Then the pastries. I got the oatmeal raisin cookie and the pumpkin cheesecake. Both were out of this world. Soft, chewy inside, slight crunch to the edge, and full of flavor. Probably 2 of the best cookies I’ve had. The bacon egg and cheese sour dough was warm which was nice, well seasoned, perfect bready chew while being airy. It was an all around winner for me. I actually went back later that day for seconds but only got a cookie as they were low on offerings right before closing. Again this place is well worth a visit. Nothing in the case is the wrong choice and while this isn’t some modern, sleek, 2025 looking bakery they invest the time and effort in to making every single offering tasty and worth your money. I can’t wait to go back to Birmingham if only for this bakery.

THE BEST bread and pastries in town and lunch is incredible. We've all had a ham and cheese croissant...but you really haven't until you've had one of theirs. Absolutely incredibly pizzas, soups and sandwiches. One of the best places in town to eat.

I really enjoyed lunch here waiting for my appointment and walked across the street and had an avocado BLT,coffee black and finished with a chocolate cookie! Delicious I enjoyed it and the atmosphere! Service was spot on and friendly! I’ll be back!

BBW used to be one of our favorites. What has happened? The once loved fresh, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside baguette now tastes like it has been sitting for a few days. The almond frangipane was a little better. Their most recent JCDH food score is 91. I hope they can turn this around soon.

Delicious bread, tasty sandwiches and really nice staff. We stopped by here as I was dropping off my husband on the airport, but we had an hour to grab a quick lunch. The food was great, and the bread of course was excellent. The place had a cool and chill atmosphere, I think I'll come back more often in the future, especially if I'm just driving to Birmingham for an airport run!

Bland cream cheese icing, cake layers taste like chocolate cake. They need serious improvements on their cake recipes. I recommend Martha Stewart cakes or Southern Living recipes. No one's gonna know. I'll just have to start ordering something else. The other reviews seem to love the food dishes.🩷🩷 Edit: I got a response from the management for this review. And I totally get wanting to defend your product. But I've been here enough times to stick with my review on the cakes. On my first ever visit here four years ago, I bought a piece of banana cake with nuts and cream cheese icing and it was a big piece and it was the perfect density but still light and delicious. The second time, I brought someone with me to try it. We couldn't eat it bcuz it was heavy dry and bready. I tried it again a few months later and it was the same thing. They don't sell it anymore for obvious reasons. A red velvet cake's cream cheese icing should have a tang like cream cheese. The cake itself should not taste like chocolate. I know 1 or 2 TBSP of cocoa powder goes in the mix but that day it was too much.

No no no really bad service, they should come to Houston and we will show them how to treat a customer. The young guy should get some training in how to treat customers and not have them standing up eating the ice cream.

I'm from this area but I've lived in Texas for the last 13 years, and this place is LEGIT! With authentic Mexican snacks and nostalgic flare, down to what's being shown on the TVs, this place is such a fun place. It's got an old diner feel, but everything is clean and there are both modern and familiar childhood favorites on the menu. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Come check this place out!

You can't go wrong with anything you get from there. It's all handmade, reasonably priced and everyone was nice, they just didn't speak much English. While we were eating one employee brought us a NEW ice cream bowl that they will start serving. It was a Ferrero mache with rolled ice cream, chocolate drizzle, and cool whip. It was EXCELLENT. THANKS for your kindness and we will be back.

This was our first visit. They had a lot of selections of ice cream and popsicle. Unfortunately they didn't have the Vanilla popsicle, Banana Split or the Elote's that we wanted, but, we got other things instead. We'll be back sometime again.

Excellent ice cream pops Think steel city pops and add flavor. There are many flavor to choose, I had coffee. The man who works here introduced us to crazy Doritos for free. We really enjoyed our food. Lots of laughter and smiles.

This is the best elote I have ever had! I legitimately go once a week with my friends and we will get like 3 each it is so good. They also have great ice cream treats, churro's, fried plaintains, and lots of other desserts and snacks. One of my favorite places to go, all of the staff remember me and treat me very well, some of the best customer service I've ever had. 10 out of 10, will continue to go back.

Got the French toast, I wasn’t expecting the best but the strawberries were not fresh as the menu implied, they were the soggy sour kind of canned ones and on top of the dense toast that actually broke my fork was just not a great mix. No syrup or butter? The menu offered flavored butter but she says the only kind they had was regular, it wasn’t bad enough to be fully disappointing but it def was not worth even half what was charged. I also got the basil lavender latte which tasted alright, not like the other ones I’ve tried but then getting a chunk of basil leaf stuck in the lid just ruined it for me texture wise. Def won’t be back with the better options around but the location and staff seemed nice.

The baseball fields are right around the corner, wanted to grab a bite to eat before sitting out in the heat for the game. Got myself a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, with a honey, lavender, latte. Everything hit the spot for sure. The atmosphere is great,I especially like how the light are set up.

Stopped by here during a break in our tournament at the Hoover met. We only got coffee and tea but there is a food menu as well. This is a really nice coffee shop on the inside. There are nice furnishings and cozy places to sit. They also offer a drive-thru. I will have to try their food menu next time I visit.

The aesthetics of this location are pleasing to the eye. The coffee was 2 stars. The coffee blend that Santos is known for was not there at all. The Nutella, a favorite, tasted like a water downed version of an instant package of hot chocolate. The crepes was 4 stars. Yes, it's made with butter and not a spray. It was served hot and the chocolate drizzle brought the crepe to the next level. The ooey butter cake was served ice box cold which leads me to believe it was thawed out. Nothing a microwave can't fix. It was okay when heated.

I have visited Santos a couple of times over the past few years, with my most recent visit on Sunday. Unfortunately, both my food and drink were disappointing. I ordered an avocado toast and a medium latte. The latte had far too much milk foam, leaving the cup feeling half empty. This has been a persistent issue on each visit, regardless of who prepares the coffee. It really gives the impression that I’m not getting my money’s worth. The avocado toast was also underwhelming. There wasn’t enough avocado, the bread was cold, and it came topped with a small piece of cheese, a large amount of arugula, and a few cherry tomatoes. It looked appealing because of the color combination and the box that came in. However, I was mainly eating bread. Box is very nice and appealing; however, I do not think it is the right choice for people who likes eat in the store. A plate would be nicer and easier to handle the food. I believe management needs to address these recurring issues with both quality and consistency.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and tasty coffee. Staff is great, my bacon egg n cheese bagel was delicious. Great lounge area for patrons to do some quick work or catch up with friends. Love the decor, especially the vintage car mounted at the drive thru. Well done, Santos!

Best Privately Owned Coffee Shop, the customer service exceeds my expectations in every way. The coffee flavors are simple, yet unique, warming my heart with every sip. If you want to eat a French pastry without traveling to France, this is THE place to go! Everything was utter perfection, simply fantastique—chef's kiss! We tried the Nutella and strawberry pop tarts, almond croissant, lemon tart and choux. There aren't enough words to adequately describe the euphoric experience of eating these works of art. Go try some for yourself and you will agree!

We stopped by Bandit Patisserie and were immediately impressed by how immaculate the place was. The setting is clean, modern, and inviting..just the kind of atmosphere you want to enjoy a good pastry and coffee. Ann Martin, who was behind the counter, greeted us with a warm smile and made some great suggestions. They were running a buy one pastry, get a drip coffee free special, which we gladly took advantage of. My brother asked if it applied to iced coffee, but it didn’t. No big deal.. we ordered, sat down, and enjoyed some truly incredible pastries. The savory Danish was perfect, and the homemade strawberry pop tart was simply fantastic. What really made the experience memorable, though, was Ann Martin’s kindness. Later on, she came over with an iced coffee, explaining that she’d be tossing it out the next day and remembered my brother asking about it earlier. She offered it to him for free.. a small gesture that spoke volumes about how much they care about their customers and community. She didn’t have to do it, but she did, and it genuinely made our day. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves amazing pastries but also leaves you feeling this welcomed and appreciated. Bandit Patisserie is a gem, and Ann Martin’s thoughtfulness is the perfect example of why this spot deserves every bit of praise it gets. Highly recommend stopping by,you won’t just leave with great pastries, you’ll leave with a smile.

Stopped in to bandit while spending a day in Birmingham checking out the food scene. It was top on my list and I can say it didn’t disappoint. Inside is cute and the perfect amount of space with a few outside seats. The stay was super friendly and kind. We made small talk about my trip and delicious pastries while I ordered and I felt very welcomed. As for the pastries. I picked the pumpkin cheese cake cruffin, triple ginger cookie, snicker doodle cookie, and strawberry poptart. Cruffin was tender and delicious with ample filling. The cookies were the perfect softness with a little chew and a slight crunch on the edge. Absolutely perfect. The strawberry poptart was a little disappointing. It’s thick and puffy so you’re expecting a filled pastry full of chunky strawberries and fruity delights. Instead you bite in and it’s a hallow cave inside about an inch thick of air with a tiny smear of strawberry jam at the bottom. It was so little you almost couldn’t even taste it against the buttery pastry itself. Over all 3 out of 4 being home runs I’d absolutely go back. Plus the hospitality was top notch.

Love this place! It’s like a little trip to Paris. Small but well appointed with big windows, minimalist decor. Awesome wallpaper in bathroom! Decor complete with retro map of Paris. Great coffee/tea and delicious pasteries-flaky, fresh, cute and delish ✅. Staff is friendly and helpful. And free drip Fridays; buy a pastry/get a free drip coffee. As a busy realtor, I live to set up client meetings at places like this to showcase what our lively little city has to offer. This is what makes it fun to live in the ‘ham.

Sunday was my first visit to the Birmingham location. I was a fan of the previous Homewood location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility is nice and just the right size to have a coffee and pastry. I had the London Fog tart. I’d get it 5 stars - beautiful, with just the right amount of sweetness and a hint of tea 🥹. Highly recommended!

We found out about this place through the local flavor app.We decided to try a few different things. What's not to like?! When you open the door, the smell of happiness greets you. I know the door says warm cookies, but let me explain. They don't microwave them. They come out of the oven and then put into a warmer. Those oatmeal raisin cookies were like soft clouds of sweetness that fell from heaven. Then we tried the tuxedo cheesecake. The level of chocolaty decadence is mouthwatering. The cinnamon rolls are big enough to share, but good luck with that. They have a good variety of flavored popcorn as well. The caramel popcorn was a good balance of sweet and salty. I'll definitely go back soon!

I expected so much more after following this business for the past two years in the media! I really thought the owner would be involved in making and designing my husband's birthday cake but I guess she only gets involved with high-end clientele orders. I will not be giving them any more business. For 120 dollars for a 10inch cake, Publix would have looked good and tasted delicious. The red velvet cake was dry and crumbly and the cream cheese icing tasted like buttercream. Also, the cake design was very plain with bland colors. I was so upset when I left there on yesterday! Also, when I reached out to let the owner know my experience with the cake, I was told that she wasn't available and would get back with me.

Ordering a realistic pancake cake from this shop was a great decision. The communication process about designing the cake was really easy and the cashier explained how to store the cake when I picked it up. Would recommend Cakeffect to anyone looking for a beautiful, quality cake

I cannot say enough good things about CakEffect! They made my cake for my wedding in November, and it was a hit among all my guests. Not only did my cake taste amazing, but it was also a beautiful visual for my reception. I highly recommend CakEffect for all of you specialty cake needs!

Stumbled upon Continental Bakery after leaving the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Located in a very cool little shopping district that is very dog friendly. Had to wait for 20 minutes as people were shuffling in and out to get their drinks and croissants. I would have left but I was told this place was very good so I waited. Inside is a small and eclectic area to look at the goodies, give your order, and pay. My croissant was very good and did remind me of the ones I had in Paris with many variants available. My shortbread cookie was cutely decorated but overpriced for what I got (just give me the shortbread with a smattering of icing for taste). Worth the stop in if you are in the area.

Oh wow, what a spectacular Bakery in the gorgeous Old English District. Sit on the sidewalk or take a gorgeous walk with your bakery treat and coffee/tea. Shortbread cookies, artist breads, cakes, pies, and a wide assortment of freshly baked treats. You can get a sandwich as well and also get refrigerated artisan soups to go. This is such a wonderful bakery!

I was really excited to try this bakery. Unfortunately, the pot de creme was made with coffee, and I didn't think to ask so I wasn't able to eat it. The palette was delicious! The sandwich was pretty basic and I didn't realize it wouldn't come with sauces. The sandwich bread was good though. I bought some other things too. The pies look fantastic! I would probably come here again, but only for specific items. The pricing was pretty fair. The person who served me seemed fairly impatient. Never having been there before, I wasn't sure how to order everything. The shop isn't very newcomer friendly All you could see was what they had on display even though they had drinks and sandwiches They had three parts of a menu that was in very small font and if you didn't know they had something you didn't know we were there 20 minutes and just happened to overhear they had sandwiches And had to ask for the sandwich menu because it wasn't on display They have a website but it also wasn't on display so if you don't know you wouldn't know unless you just happened to look but even that it didn't have a list of drinks or the sandwiches and it looked to have been a couple of years out of date because they prices were wrong A third of their baked goods were shortbread cookies You also couldn't see prices for the bread

Did some searching for a bakery that was open to sit down to eat and chat for a short while, only setting was outside at night with a cold chill, if there was a heat lamp next too use this would have made the night. This place sits in a small like English village with a unique bakery, lots of desserts, and homemade breads, salads, sandwiches, like to see this place in the daytime.

We spent an exorbitant amount of money on the pastries and were very disappointed. They all lacked flavor and were dry. At best the flavor was peculiar, at worst there was no flavor. The brownie was particularly disappointing as it lacked cocoa flavor and really didn’t even taste like chocolate.

I ha ve been coming here for years but it seems like it is not the same anymore since the new management. I came here today to celebrate my good news about my doctor appointment. I was expecting to sit down and enjoy my coffee in a mug and my dessert on a plate and enjoyed the outside but the lady that served me said that they do not do that anymore. I got a to go coffee and a brown bag to go for my dessert. It is a bad service for an expensive deasert

Absolutely delicious! Super friendly service! Server recomended the sausage platter, I couldn't have been happier with the pick. The best sauerkraut I've ever had! Great hot potato salad, great pretzel bun, really good mustard. Overall an outstanding experience. The desserts looked great too.

Quaint bakery/lunch spot with excellent service and friendly staff. I had roasted pepper soup and a club sandwich; tasted great and good sized portions. Bakery items are the stars here and it all looks delicious!

Unique Bakery with German influence, plenty of sweet treats but also savory breakfast options. We went around 8am on a Saturday and there was only 1 couple there. I had a delicious smoked sausage and egg breakfast croissant with fruit. There were some friendly employees in the back that offered us a menu and told us to ask if we had questions, but the person stationed at the cash register was a far cry from them. She was still texting while we walked up and waited to order and then I asked if they could do egg whites and she replied yes, but they came out as regular scrambled eggs so I'm not sure if she even made note of it or if she cared. Overall, it was a good experience aside from the one blond at the register so we look forward to returning with the kiddos for pancakes!

Awesome food... Very nice place... The lentil and sausage soup is wunderbar..the omelets with pork and peach sauce very tasty... Muffins so fluffy and light... We will definitely come back again..

I walked in for desserts to share with a small group. Two were good (a peanut butter tart & black hills brownie), one was not impressive (monster cookie with icing), the other should have never been sold (key lime pie tart). The bad one was past it's date and was inedible, rock hard and separated. It was crowded inside, I kept having to move aside for another staff member to get to the dining tables. While I was waiting, the lady that helped me got to mark on a dry erase board (a contest or goal). I've only been the one time, but it left me feeling like the staff was pushing old food.

Fun little place to eat. The service was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. The kids meals come wrapped in fun packages with ears for the kids.

I really wanted to like this place- because I love small business.. I spent nearly 9 dollars on a slice of cake and two cookies. I was giving the cookies away, the person said the cookies were warm and had good flavor. The slice of fudge cake; is awful- very dry, and you can taste how old it tastes. The dry factor is not only in the old crunchy fudge frosting, but the cake itself. Ended up throwing nearly the whole piece of cake away. The size of cake you receive is a very sad, not worth the five dollars. You can make your own cake for under five dollars 😂 If you know me; you know I would never do this - chocolate is my jam. Very disappointing... will not waste my money again; I would rather walk across the street to Panera, or Starbucks... sorry, improve your quality and standards.

Not the best experience- which was sorely disappointing as I’ve always heard great things about this place. Ordered the $10 bread service (herb butter was just okay, even some sea salt would’ve made a difference), and the okra basket. Very average stuff for the price point. The server informed us that the kitchen was backed up (which was strange as it was not packed) so we waited a while for our food. I ordered the low country grouper and my husband ordered the steak. My fish came out wrong the first time and they had to take it back. It was okay- again, very average. His steak was cooked great- but why is it cut up into pieces? Ruins the flavor and causes some of the pieces to turn a little tough. The wine I had was good- but we skipped out on dessert and decided to head on out, after a very meh experience for $150+. If you’re in Birmingham, I would recommend Automatic over this place.

We made reservations and travelled to Birmingham to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. While making online reservations I documented and shared that we were celebrating his birthday. However, the hostess nor the server acknowledged the occasion. The server was not attentive, for example I requested water more than once, where an attentive wait staff would pay attention to patrons glasses at their table. There was a delay in general at our table. The restaurant was not busy at the time. My husband and daughter ordered beverages that they were satisfied. The food was the best of my experience at the restaurant. The chef had great culinary skills. I would recommend that the manager, make more of an effort to greet patrons in general, this would be great customer service, as they patronize and celebrate special occasions at the establishment. The chef did have time to run out to the patio as we were departing and greet, I suppose one of the regular patrons. However, if customer friendly service were more in line with the quality of the food, I would recommend it to family and friends. However these two go hand in hand.

In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Birmingham. The food was excellent. You feel like you made a journey to europe. We had the delicious beef Tatar and the tomato salat. We can highly recommend for the entree the duck and the lamp career. Both meats were absolutely on point and perfectly cocked. The chocolate soufflé made us feel like we were in Paris. Our server Kevin was attended and very friendly. It's not a cheap restaurant, but it's worth every cent.

Great meal with my wife before the the Tina Turner musical at the BJCC. Also, celebrating our anniversary and my wife's birthday. We had 5:00 p.m. reservations and we were seated promptly. Enjoyed the ambiance of sitting at the chef's counter. Provided wonderful service by our server Ryan, our server assistant Kezia, and Niko. The food was excellent starting with the opening act Pork Tamale. For the Big Show my wife ordered the Low Country Yellow Edge Grouper. Loved the presentation I ordered the Wood Fired Hanger Steak. We both enjoyed our selections. For the Closing Act we shared the Elton's Chocolate Soufflé. Loved the presentation. Top notch ambiance, food, and service.

This restaurant is supposed to be one of the best in Birmingham, however, it was wildly overpriced. The vibe/atmosphere is great, especially sitting at chefs bar to watch them make the food. We split an entree, 2 apps, 1 dessert and only got 1 drink each and spent $90 a person. The tomato stack was amazing, everything else was average - don’t get the crudo - much too salty/fishy. Would go back for tomato stack & cocktails alone but not for dinner.

We brought our new Your Choice Senior Care franchisees from Austin, TX to eat here last night, and it was the most impressive experience you could hope or wish for from a high end food establishment like Hot & Hot Fish Club. The service and menu is beyond compare, and our new owners are still talking about their experience there last night. Chef is a true culinary artisan!

Got to enjoy the delicious cocktails before the with the beef Tartare and Surf&Turf appetizer before digging into the seared Magret Duck Breast. My husband also let me sample the Ancho-Rubbed Iberico Pork Chop. The meat was tender and cooked how I asked. The service was attentive but also didn't hover. We had reservations with our friends from out of town on the patio and definitely enjoyed our food immensely.

We love Slice! Our favorite local pizza and beer joint. We’ve never had a pizza that disappointed. I will say, even my gluten-loving husband prefers their GF pizza crust to the regular one! (I do too). White Shadow and Hot Mama are our favorite flavors. Their salads are also amazing! (And generous which we appreciate). Got the cheesecake once and it did NOT disappoint. The wings are good but expensive - you can find more wings for less elsewhere. Can’t beat the $5 wine and draft beer happy hour though!

Today was my first time to try them and I have definitely found my new lunch spot whenever I’m in Birmingham! The food was delicious, the atmosphere and music were great. Taci, my server, was AMAZING. My drink was never empty, she made sure to check on me and make sure I didn’t go without anything I needed. I’ll ask for her each time I go back!

Pretty good place to eat. I checked a few reviews and decided to try it out. Excellent customer service. I sat at the bar and the bartender was great! Ordered the fire cooked wings. Great choice, a little Spicer than I prefer but they were really good. I rarely eat anything spicy. Great atmosphere inside and outside on the patio. The Philly cheese pizza is really good also.

My food came out in less than 10 minutes. It was tasty and hot! My server Cash did a great job to make me feel accommodated. Will return.

First of all, Nicole is an awesome server! She is so attentive and friendly! The pizza may literally be the best pizza I've ever had, seriously! And the wings... fire baked! They are marinaded perfectly... no sauce needed.

- My wife and I really enjoyed this pizza joint. There was some live music being played. But you could still have a conversation and not have to yell. The atmosphere was a good energy, and everyone else that was there seemed to be enjoying themselves. Not to mention that the pizza itself was amaze-balls, and it didn't take forever to get. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning, and I'd strongly recommend this spot for date night.

This was such a romantic place for our date night. The food was flavoful and we loved the wine pairings offered for each course. I recommend the sweet potatoe cornbread & pork belly, also the fried oysters for starters...(Not pictured because we at it quickly)...Our waiter was very knowledgeable about his wine & gave great suggestions on the courses.

Service was impeccable! The flavors of the food from beginning to end were immaculate! One of the best dining experiences I have had. Bishop was our server and he was awesome! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the Margarita Sunrise that I ordered was not very good. But none of the food missed! We had the oyster and okra for an appetizer. The red snapper and scallops and the Duck breast were entrees.

We came for our anniversary and Brandon and the others were so nice, knowledgeable and the food? Amazing doesn't even describe it. Simply music in your mouth. We can't wait to go back!

My fiancé and I had a wonderfully delicious dinner at Cafe DuPont! We were able to sit at table 17 right in front of their gorgeous window, giving a picturesque view of downtown Birmingham. We had a front-row seat to the setting sun as we enjoyed our dinners, plus the wonderful jazz music and candlelight made it feel as if we were in a movie.The care and professionalism the servers and chefs provided were top notch 👌. We ordered the cheese plate and pork belly appetizers, and the pork was fork tender and full of flavor. Each of the cheeses paired perfectly with the crostini and pesto they provided. The fresh bread was fluffy and had the perfect texture. We then had the smoked prime ribeye, which was amazingly delicious, and the Joyce farms fried chicken, which was juicy and tender and scrumptious. The portions were perfect and the sides combined to make perfect dishes. The sunrise margarita and wine pairings were great! We topped the meal off with the better than anything beignets and a surprisingly fantastic sweet potato creme brulee. The beignets were soft and fluffy, and the sweet potato didn't overwhelm the creme brulee, acting as a great fall dessert.

The service was truly exceptional! The palate cleansers they serve between courses really elevate the experience. Out of the comparable restaurants in the area, cafe Dupont has by far been the best! The pork belly was phenomenal and so was the peach cobbler! The honey ice cream that came with the cobbler was absolutely incredible, I’ve never had anything like it! I will absolutely be back!

Cafe DuPont in downtown Birmingham is the kind of place that makes you feel like you should’ve worn your fancy shoes—but you’re glad you didn’t, because the food is the real star here. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with white tablecloths, soft lighting, and that unmistakable “I’m about to eat something amazing” vibe. The fried oysters alone deserve their own holiday. They’re crispy, perfectly seasoned, and somehow taste like the ocean decided to show off.

Nice restaurant. You will spend about $12-13 for a plate and drink. I got the braised pork plate with the hot cheddar pasta, bread, and broccoli salad. The pasta was really good and cheesy. The servers were very friendly. It's by the federal reserve. It's cool because the bathroom entrance was the old vault. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The wait time for the food wasn't long at all; they got our food out within minutes.

If you haven’t eaten here you’re really missing out! Staff is always super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing all without being expensive whatsoever.

This is a counter service restaurant. We were able to order lunch immediately. The food was delivered to the table very quickly. The ingredients are very high quality. The dishes are interesting combinations than typical fast casual. The house salad with grilled chicken was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned.

OMG!! It’s like going home for a long lunch or early dinner after a short day at work on Friday. Perfect for a girlfriend brunch or intimate lunch with the hubs. I went solo for this first time visit and it impressed on site! I had the lime marinated steak with rice pilaf and salad. It was so good I ate the entire plate!! I NEVER do that!! Atmosphere is happy, bright, open, private, and cozy! Must do a sit down! It’s seriously like I went home and had lunch on the patio. Strawberry 🍓 sangria was perfectly crisp like the fall weather. Strawberry lemonade with half unsweetened tea…. Oh yeah! Definitely a great take away! And the orange sweet rolls… well everybody knows that’s the only reason I went to the place! Love love love ❤️ if I could do double stars I would!

Usually one of my favorite places but i got a Cubano sandwich from Ubereats today and it smells and tastes like ut was saturated with gasoline or lighter fluid not only that the orange rolls were very stale and the broccoli soup was half cooked broccoli puree with huge chunks of broccoli that were still raw.

Fantastic, fresh, lives up to the "farm to table" claim. The strawberry lemonade is amazing and the half-baked cookie is sinfully good. The managers are attentive and responsive, wait times are extremely short, prices are very affordable.

Urban Cookhouse is a wonderful restaurant. Everything I have had from there has always been fresh and delicious. This is my favorite location to eat at because of the atmosphere and the excellent customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Cliff notes: this wasn’t what I was expecting re a relaxing Italian place but that had pros and cons. They only do counter ordering so it makes it feel a bit impersonal but on the plus side you aren’t paying a service yo charge in the form of a tip. Ordering: the menu isn’t that big. The person who took my order was not unfriendly but she was also not warm and hospitable Food was delivered relatively quickly. My boyfriend got the baked Mac and cheese. I thought it had some unique flavors and was very tasty. I got some sort of white pasta that was fine but did not stand out. I probably would have added some pepper or red hot pepper but there is absolutely nothing on the table to add flavor. Also the pastas didn’t seem to have any meat so I thought they were a bit overpriced Just know if you want to feel like you are at a warm trattoria this isn’t the place, but you may still have an enjoyable meal if you know what to expect

Really good lunch spot we stopped into! The pizza and pasta were both delicious. We got the baked mac n cheese which was delicious with the goat cheese, and the ragu which could've used a bit more meat but was tasty. Service was friendly and the outdoor seating was lovely!! Would definitely come here again.

My recommendations are the breakfast pizza with the fried egg on top and a scone. Perfect meal!

We took advantage of an opportunity to go out for a family dinner on Monday evening, and Zaza was an easy choice. We arrived at about 6:30 to a lively but not packed restaurant. We took our time ordering but finally settled on food choices and decided to sit out on their street patio. We ordered a lot of food, knowing we'd bring some home. It can out quickly too, thanks to the always-friendly staff. I got the Fettuccine Garlic-Pecorino cream which was delicious. My wife got the Monday special Sweet Pea Falafel and it was the table favorite. It had fresh veg and the tzatziki had the perfect light tang. The Spinach & Arugula salad had chunks of tender chicken and thick slices of golden beets among tender greens. With the crushed pistachios on top, it was a texture and flavor winner. We also got a whole Porkalicious pie and it was loaded with meat. The crust was thick and crisp on bottom - just right. For dessert we got the tiramisu and strawberry shortcake. Those roasted strawberries make it a special treat. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back.

We had heard great things about Trattoria Zaza since moving to Birmingham and decided to stop by for a Saturday morning brunch. The restaurant was in rough shape, with torn seating & dirty floors and tables. There were also several flies on the bread and pastries behind the counter. We thought it was a bit pricy given the rundown conditions and sanitation issues, but we did actually really enjoy the food! Only a couple flies bothered us while we were eating 🫠 French Toast: 9/10 The French toast was fluffy and delicious! It did feel a bit too heavy and sweet for one person after a bit, so we would definitely recommend splitting with a savory dish. Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Bagel: 9/10 Very yummy and filling! Parking: Should be able to find street parking within a 5-10 minute walk of the restaurant.

I have no experience eating in the restaurant (for now) so I cannot say anything about that. I have tried so many different dishes via delivery and everything is always so fresh and delicious. From the pastas to the pizzas to the desserts, everything is top notch. I especially recommend the BLT and summer tortellini salad. Also the Sicilian lemonades, there are different refreshing versions that they make throughout the seasons. I love that Zaza uses local, fresh, in season ingredients. They use eco-friendly packaging!! Their eco-friendly business practice is what makes me a supporter in addition to the wonderful food. I just love everything about this restaurant and I can't wait to visit in person.

5 Point Public House was a SLOW start and a STRONG finish. It was Sunday evening and we had been out at Talladega so places were starting to close. 5 Point was open till 10, the hostess said the wait for a table was about 30min so we headed over to the bar for a cocktail while we waited. The restaurant was maybe a 1/3 full and what little staff there were, including the bartender were on their toes trying to stay caught up. We waited about 15-20min for the bartender to slow down and get tickets caught up before she was able to acknowledge us. Near got a drink but the table was ready so we left that behind, sat down and began a great meal. The food here is mostly seafood as you'd expect, a couple other proteins, salads and some yummy appetizers. Our waitress was very attentive, the food delivery was pretty timely and we ended a great meal with some bread pudding. In visiting with our waitress, discussing the lack of staffing we learned that a restaurant that used to be open for lunch and dinner now can only open at 4pm for dinner because of a total lack of staff. I sincerely hope this employee situation corrects itself sooner than later. Of the 12-13 restaurants we wait at in downtown Birmingham at least 10 of them had staff shortages. Be patient, and make sure to enjoy some great New Orleans style seafood.

Fabulous Food, Service and Atmosphere! Beautiful presentation. The beer battered cheese curds are fantastic! All the dipping sauces are fresh and flavorful. I have to come more often. Photos show the Fish and Chips... plenty for two! And the Grilled Romaine Salad with chicken. Everything we had was perfect. Great bar with tons of craft beer and a listing by type...Sours, IPAs, etc. Great experience the three times I've been.

Fun place with good cocktails and food. The service was spot on! We went on a busy evening and they still took very good care of our large group.

We had a delicious lunch today during redtaurant week. I had the minestrone soup and a gulf shrimp sandwich. We also had a smoked tuna sandwich. I have eaten here a few times before. It has always been great. They have very good oysters also!

Second time eating here one year apart. The food was consistent and quite tasty. We had the charcuterie board which was tasty. I really liked the pickled onions. Followed that up with fish and chips. Cooked quite well. Not too greasy. It was just right. Finished up with a fried Twinkie. That was definitely the highlight. The chili flavored chocolate sauce it was served with was awesome. Good beer and wine selection. Looking forward to coming back next year as well. Good selection of fresh oysters. While we didn’t have them the looked damn fine.

First visit. I had an excellent fish Reuben sandwich. My wife had a great burger. I was a little bit disappointed with the cheese curds appetizer. Mozzarella bites are not fried cheese curds. Overall, a good meal.

I've had multiple good experiences here. I've tried the cheese curds (must try!), spring rolls, duck, alligator tail, brisket and it has all been great. Pretty good drink selection as well.

We really wanted to love it, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype for us. The atmosphere was trendy and inviting, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. We arrived before the lunch rush, but the place filled up quickly and got very loud, making conversation hard. As for the food it was mediocre at best. We ordered the rigatoni Bolognese: the pasta was fresh and cooked al dente, and the ragù had good flavor, but the dish lacked salt overall. The cacio e pepe was disappointing. It was heavy on the “pepe” (black pepper), and the spaghetti were clumped together clearly not stirred properly while cooking. I did enjoy the 4-grain salad. It was fresh, original, and well-balanced. The arancini had a nice crispy fry on the outside, but the rice inside was overcooked. The biggest letdown was the espresso completely undrinkable. We paid just over $100 (with tip) for a lunch that looked much better than it tasted. For a place with such a strong visual brand and beautiful photos, we expected more. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but we left disappointed.

This is a great place to have brunch with friends, brunch date with your significant other or even a business brunch date. It works for any type of brunch date. It’s a beautiful spot, great service and great food! The pancakes are phenomenally, the breakfast hash was delicious and the banana bread with the walnut butter is delicious! My bestie and I had a great experience and is now one of our new favorite brunch spots in the city!

Aesthetically, beautiful. The sourdough bread 1000/10, the entrees were nothing short of amazing! Katie, our table concierge, was very attentive and pleasant. Our experience was top quality all around and would absolutely recommend when you are in the Birmingham area!

We came during lunch on a Wednesday. Not super busy but the server took a while to get to us to order our food, over ten minutes. I ordered the agnolotti pasta and my friend ordered the hamburger plate. Though the presentation was fantastic, my pasta was drenched in oil, a bit too much and her burger was crispy to the point she had to remove the sides so she would not chip a tooth. I expected more from an establishment such as this. Will not have a repeat visit from me.

Amazing place, a little annoying that we got sat outside but the decorations and food presentations looked amazing. I ordered the essential hashbrowns with ketchup and it was divine! The coffee was also delicious. Overall an amazing place and a cute little spot for some breakfast. Our server, Evan was always getting stuff out of our way and filling water and fixing us stuff, truly some of the best service I’ve ever had.

Twice in one day. First ever visit was for lunch. Brought colleagues for dinner the same day. Both experiences were fantastic. Food is delicious. The five grain salad with chicken for lunch was luscious, the Chicken Piri Piri for dinner was food memory in the making - super flavorful and perfectly cooked. Excellent service both times.

Great place. Sat at the bar and the manager, owner and staff all chatted with us and were super friendly and interesting. They made us feel really at home. Food was excellent. The piri piri chicken was more like a sweet and savory sauce than a hot sauce but it sure was delicious. Very good options for beer and wine as well. Overall I highly recommend this place. If I'm ever back in Birmingham it will certainly be on the agenda.

It was our first time to visit. It also was my husband's birthday so it was a birthday treat for him.... Okay, well I enjoyed it too! First time here. Wanted to try it. The young lady at the counter wasn’t friendly at all. I told her it was my first time there. She said let me know when you ready and that was it. When I told her I was ready and what I wanted to try. She said what you said? She didn’t hear me because she was talking on the phone with earbuds in her ear. I asked her what’s the difference in the brownies she said just chocolate. So I just picked one. At that point I was ready to order anything and just go. I know it’s a cookie shop but I wanted to know more about the menu. I gave it a 3 because she wasn’t welcoming but she wasn’t friendly nor was she customer friendly she was on the phone.

I love this place and the cookies here are delicious!!!!!! They are always warm and ready to eat. They stay open late for that late night sweet run!!! Don’t sleep on these cookies!! Try them, you won’t regret it!

Insomnia Cookies never disappoints! Their cookies are always warm, soft, and fresh—just the right balance of gooey in the middle with a slight crisp on the edges. The variety is impressive, from classic chocolate chip to more unique flavors like s’mores and double chocolate chunk. I especially loved my experience with Christian as he was very welcoming. Tre Luna has been on our list of places to dine and we finally made it. We arrived around 6:40 on a Saturday evening, knowing we'd have a wait. Fortunately, our wait was only about 20 minutes. Our server brought us water and very good rosemary focaccia while we studied the menu. My wife chose the lasagna and I elected the penne pasta with veggies. Our order came to the table much quicker than I expected -- fresh and piping hot. I immediately dug into the fresh pasta with mushrooms, spinach, roasted tomatoes in a wonderful white wine cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Next time I'll probably order the same but add a protein (chicken, scallops or shrimp). My wife was delighted with her lasagna and after sampling a couple of bites, I agree that it was excellent. Service was exceptional. The only complaints I have are the relatively close quarters (tables are very close together) and the ambient noise level made it a bit difficult to carry on a quiet conversation. I would definitely dine at Tre Luna again and highly recommend it.

We went for lunch. The service and atmosphere were great. We got the short rib braised sandwich and meatball sub. I would give the nod to the short rib. Meatball was good but not my favorite. We will go back and give dinner a go. I recommend giving them a visit.

The food is always delicious and the overall experience here is always great. Our service tonight was exceptional. I highly rec the mojito mocktail and the truffle fries. I had one of the daily specials as my entree and it was delish- perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of fresh kale with gorgonzola and pear. We came here to have a good dinner with our friend and it did not disappoint

I was at Tre Luna several times. It was Always great food. A lot of typical authentic Italian cuisine. Great pizza, especially the Margarita. I highly recommend the Ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms. The Veal Picata is also delicious. The service is very friendly and attendant. The atmosphere is good, but unfortunately it’s pretty pound in there. So you have problems to understand the conversation.

We shared an apple pastry for dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for date nights. The only con was the seating, there was obviously a lot of tables outside that were available for seating yet we had to wait for more than 25 minutes before we gave up and decided to eat at the bar.

Pretty disappointed with the food at Tre Luna tonight. The service was great, cocktails were perfect, and the patio seating was comfortable, but the fish was overcooked and the sauce had no flavor. With a tip, it was a $90 disappointment.

My mom, aunt, cousin and myself are here from Kentucky, we are in Alabama for the Chris Brown concert tonight. We thought we would come sightseeing and we stopped into Cookie Fix. The girls in there working were so nice and sweet. They made us feel so welcomed. If we ever come back to these parts, we will definitely come back in again. I’ll definitely refer this place to others.! Then to top it off, the cookies are AMAZING!!!!

Cookie Fix is amazing! We ordered a mixed tray for an office celebration and everyone raved about the cookies. I had the triple chocolate and it was delicious. I love have they add a touch of course salt on top to balance the sweetness. Our order was ready on time and the store was packed when I came in. If foot traffic is a sign of how good a place is then there is no doubt this place is a crowd favorite.

Just yum!! That soft in the middle cookie is so my jam when it comes to cookies! When the fam goes there for a treat, we all have to share a bite with each other and every cookie has been tops!

Wow please open a store in Atlanta-really miss this treat!!

We were visiting Homewood for a few days and were recommended to stop by here. There weren’t many options of cookie flavors. We bought quite a few and only a couple cookies stood out. They were soft and crispy at the same time. Some were delicious and others were just way too much sweetness. Also this is a small place so they aren’t seating inside, plan to eat cookie elsewhere.

I saw this place featured on WBRC Fox 6 News. Skeptical me, honestly didn't expect much. I took one bite and was immediately thankful that they're not located in Tuscaloosa, because I DEFINITELY would not be able to resist going there all the time! Their cookies are amazing!!! 🥰 I even love the location. Their employees were super nice as well, which made the treats all the more sweet!

It smelled really nice inside, and I love the look of the place. It was so quaint and cute. They had tons of options to choose from, the staff was very polite and while they were busy they were very quick with getting people in and out. Definitely try the savory biscuits.

We used magic muffins for our wedding- Bride and Grooms cake, and absolutely loved them!!! Very affordable in the wedding cake business and soooo yummy!!! We did a few cake tastings in the area and this one was most affordable and best tasting!!! I got traditional white, and then my husband is a big lord of the rings fan and they were open to making this hobbit hole cake based off a Pinterest inspo pic and they did awesome we loved it!!! They delivered them both as well!

Magic Muffins created my bridal cake and groom’s desserts for my wedding and both were phenomenal. The cheesecake bites with golf ball truffles were perfect for my golf pro husband. Our almond flavored cake was beautiful, delicious, and moist. We received many compliments on both. The staff were easy to work with and the pricing was very reasonable. I’ll definitely use Magic Muffins for celebrations for many years to come!

Magic Muffins baked our bride and groom’s cakes for our wedding. They were awesome to work with from start to finish. Both cakes were beautiful, but the groom’s bourbon barrel cake took the prize. It was so realistic, some guests thought it was a decoration until we cut it. Both cakes were super tasty and we can’t wait to order our special cakes from Magic Muffins for many years to come!

Wow! What a tasty cake! This was a custom cake we had done by Magic Muffins. We ordered the Italian Cream cake. The cake was dense, rich and moist after cutting into it the next day. We really appreciate the customer service that came with the cake as well! Reasonably priced for the quality you receive!

Placed an order for cupcakes and a cake for a bridal shower, almond cake with almond butter cream. It was so beautiful and tasted amazing, and everyone loved it!

I was frustrated 2 months before my wedding, I could not find someone who can prepare my kosher cake. Justin from Marta's bakery was willing to do her first kosher cake, she came to our kitchen and learnt everything about it. She was beyond of her job, she brought the ingredients a day before and she helped us to decorate the cake and find special ingredients we requested in order to keep it kosher. Everybody loved it. She also figured out to find the birds I could not have the time to find it and did everything for a good price, punctuality and quality. Thanks Justin.

My husband and I were one of Martas first customers. In fact, I think it's our dollar bill framed there. That was many years ago, and we have enjoyed every year. Martas is wonderful. She bakes like an angel. You will go back time and time again once you taste her many offerings. Our favorites are her chocolate cake, carrot cake and cream cheese brownies. Ih and her Peach bread when in season. All if her breads are delicious though. Her cooler always has quick pick up foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great casseroles. So much there. Order early!!

Marta's Bakery is lovely!! It has a large selection of homemade casseroles that are out of this world. The Martha Bakery employees are helpful, answered all my questions, didn't rush me, & were kind. The bakery is well organized, clean, and the food items are clearly marked with simple cooking directions!

Super great scones and a generous supply of variations! So tasty and fresh!

Highland Gourmet Scones is my favorite sweet treat in town. The orange cranberry should be illegal it’s so good. The texture of the scones is like nothing else I’ve tasted. It’s like a scone-biscuit-cookie-cake cloud, baked to perfection. Dang, now I want another one.

My organization partnered with Highlands Scones for corporate gifting and I cannot recommend them enough! They made the entire process easy and efficient. We received numerous compliments on the taste and quality of the scones too!

Most delicious scones ever!! Great selection. I had my doubts about some of the flavors, but they were all wonderful. If you love coconut, the Toasted Coconut scone is fantastic.

What is a hot cup of tea without a good scone? I've searched everywhere and found Highland Gourmet Scones. Oh my goodness! They arrived individually packaged inside a reusable tin. When the scones hit my taste buds, it was an instant party in my mouth! They were soft, fresh, and the orange cranberry flavor made me do cartwheels. (Okay, maybe in my mind.) I immediately ordered another tin for my upcoming Easter tea. Great job Highland for a scone that tastes even better heated up with smear of butter on top. Yum, yum!

Very pleased with every visit to Highland Gourmet Scones. I live out of the state and any time that I am in town I swing by for a scone pick up. I at first tried the mini's to distinguish which ones would be our favorite, but I have to be honest we like them all. So we have upgraded to purchasing the large scones in a variety of flavors. A few have made it to being a fan favorite - Cherry Amaretto, Pumpkin Spice, Toasted Coconut, and Orange Cranberry. The regular size scones are a bit more moist, and have a stronger flavor. We highly recommend them, and have not been disappointed with any of our orders!! The one time I returned home without scones..........we had a few sad faces. It is now what we look forward to when I am in town. Plus they are a great spot for coffee!!

This is a charming little coffee cum bookshop. And gels very well with the vibe of this neighborhood. It has limited sitting inside and outside.

I had a dirty chai tea latte, a little sweet but great taste. The baked goods were delicious, I tried 3 different ones. Staff were friendly and the place is really cute in a nice part of town.

Limited seating. Computer folks hog the small number of tables. Nice people. Good coffee. It's a good "to go" place but not a place to meet and talk.

I’d give it five stars just for THE Breakup Cookie. A delicious, perfectly crispy yet chewy, luscious blend of rich dark chocolate and sea salt, it’s definitely one of the best cookies in Birmingham. Worth a trip if you’ve never been, and I’m sure the coffee is just wonderful but that’s not why I go 😂🍪

Great way to start your day. Coffee was great, service was quick, and with fall right around the corner, this is a prime spot to spend a morning.

Hazelnut cappuccino was delicious, just enough sweetness. The breakup cookie was alright. More outdoor seating would be really nice but they did have some comfy chairs on the side.

This is a wonderful little coffee shop in Mountain Brook. It's also a small book store.very nice atmosphere and excellent coffee.

Great local experience!! Can you tell I loved it? 😊The popsicles have amazing texture and flavor, and they are guaranteed (really, I’ve seen them exchange flavors if you don’t love it)! I suggest getting them dipped and sprinkled. Be prepared - you get what you pay for and this won’t be a cheap outing, but it will be worth it!!

Friendly service and delicious treats & kids love it. I saw the flavor of the month and decided to change the white chocolate to milk chocolate. it was wonderful. My son's basketball team comprised of 9 and 10 year olds all loved it as we celebrated the end of the season here.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean establishment. Delicious popcicle and cream pops. We ate the raspberry lemon popcicle (pretty tart, but very yummy), cookies & cream pop, and brownie pop. I would return again and again and again!

They made a mistake on the toppings of one order and replaced it with a new one without even being asked. Great customer service, and great recommendations as well. The food service area was clean. EXTREMELY RECOMMEND this restaurant! It was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was very upscale and simply beautiful. Their cuisines were fresh and mouthwatering. The most exquisite and freshest ingredients were evident in every bite, making their prices understandably high-priced. Trust me, they are worth every penny and minute.

My friends and I chose Vino to celebrate our birthdays. They were also participating in BHam Restaurant Week and offered a pre fix menu in addition to their regular menu. So let's start with the food. The food was Great! We ordered appetizers, drinks, entrees from the regular menu and from the price fix menu. As a native of St. Louis, MO I enjoyed The Lou. Traditionally, the stuffing is meat but the cheese combination was done well. The apple fritters were a hit across and around the table. The only complaint we had was the amount of citrus/lemon in the sauce of the shrimp pasta dish. After reading the reviews, I wonder if our waiter was the same one spoken of in the less than perfect ratings. Unfortunately, no one at our table can remember his name but only the subpar service. From not making eye contact to make sure everyone's needs were met to forgetting (verbally admitting as such) to place orders to general inattentiveness, it was not the best service experience. After receiving all of the entrees, he did receive assistance with waiting on our table to ensure our water glasses were full. Even with that assistance, we did have a beckon the host in order to pay our tabs. This all made for a long dining experience but it was well as we were in good company. The largest disappointment was the cake. I completely understand the cake cutting fee. However, how the cake was cut, I would whether saved my feelings and dollars, and cut the cake in my car. The pictures show the slices of cake that were provided to both birthday celebratees. It may look as though we ate some or played around with it. Unfortunately, this is exactly how it was presented. Definitely putting a damper on the occasion. I would sincerely recommend cake cutting lessons for staff in the future and/or training on the small things that help make an occasion special. We would definitely consider coming again. Maybe just for bar service as to not expect much from service.

The entree was cold, the salad wilted and our dinner for four was not served at the same time. The waiter was too distracted to attend to our needs, not to replenish drinks or even water. The bill was not split by couple as requested so one couple had an extra entree on the bill. It was loud as there was a large party in the restaurant and I suppose that was why our dinner was so slow. But please don’t accept reservations if you can’t accommodate your guests. I always add a generous gratuity, but this time I did not add at all. Whatever personal problem our waiter had should not have affected our service. I can’t and will not recommend Vino again!! I’m sorry that the service and the food in this usually fun restaurant was terrible!!

Best date night with my husband! The patio was amazing and our server Sunny made it even better. Sunny had a great personality and he took great care of us and recommended date night pasta which was amazing! I recommend the Meatballs! We will definitely be coming back!

Probably the worst dinning experience I’ve had in Birmingham. We waited over 15 mins past our reservation time to be seated. The host said they didn’t have wait staff, but finally sat us and served us water. After 10 mins our waitress finally came over, but never asked if we wanted more drinks just wanted to know what food we wanted. We order apps and more drinks that took forever to come out. Our waitress informed us when our apps came out that they were out of something so she just subbed it with another app without asking if that was ok. When our dinner finally came out it was sitting on the bar counter for at least 15 mins so we got cold food. Would not recommend to anyone!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to host a special event, Vino is absolutely amazing. Al handled every detail with care—we literally only had to bring the flowers! The space is open and airy, the food and drinks were both plentiful and delicious, and the service was flawless. From the music to the lighting, everything was pure perfection.

Meet the Gelatti! Mix of sweet tea gelato and soft serve vanilla ice cream. This double scoop was $6 and worth every penny! Super nice staff too letting you sample anything.

Everything here is delicious! The flavors are fun and creative (all fresh and hand made!!) And the prices are reasonable enough to get to treat your whole family. The folks who run the place are adorable and a wonderful part of Homewood. So happy we have this amazing little shop.

This place is great! The ice cream is wonderful and they always have unique flavors to try. If you get lucky, you can catch them on a day when they make beignets! They also have soups on the weekend that are perfect when it gets colder.

The team who works there are like neighbors/friends. So great! I love that they're across the street from the park, that they have a little porch with a swing to hang out on, and that they use fresh/real ingredients and often have fun or unusual flavors. Huge fan of this place. I'll forever love the lemon ice. SO GOOD. Would love to see an avocado one ;) Hehe.

Great ice and gelato! I love the story behind this place. They're always kind and have great flavors. I prefer this place over YOMO and it's more personable. They've expanded to sell beignets and gumbo on Saturdays this year too! Just be prepared for a little madness in the shop on Saturdays. You can almost bet they'll be setup away any festival in the city too so look out for the mobile unit also!

Excellent shop; was well arranged, menu was easy to read, and both inside and outside seating was available and very nice. Employees were incredibly helpful and gave a quick rundown of all their offerings. Their cookies were delicious. Looking forward to returning!

Today was my first time trying Rolls & it was very disappointing. The large cinnamon roll was hard & dry, even though they heated it up before icing it.it also lacked flavor. I had to warm it up in the microwave to make it edible & then could only eat the middle. What a waste of $5!

This was my first time here and we will definitely be back! My husband and I have lived in the area for a few years, we’ve probably passed this bakery at least a hundred times going to Chick-fil-A to get our Saturday breakfast. It actually got my attention when it showed up my on “For You” page on TikTok of all things and I recognized it. The bakery itself is super cute and the workers who helped me were very friendly! We got the Pigs in a Blanket, Sausage Balls, a Jumbo Cinnamon Roll, Caramel Latte and a Caramel Cold Brew. Everything was excellent and honestly I think I’m gonna be dreaming about those cinnamon rolls for a while, they’re amazing.

I love Rolls so much. Katie and her team are some of the kindest and warmest people I’ve ever encountered. The way they support the local community and other small businesses is inspiring. And their products are amazing and delicious. Grateful to have such a gem in Vestavia! Give them a try and you will be so happy you did.

The new storefront on 31 in Vestavia is adorable and the rolls are delicious as always! Great service and management! You can tell that they care about their products and customers in everything they do. Today I got the orange roll and three sausage balls: a really yummy combo! Get. The. Desserts. We did the Sticky toffee pudding and the dark chocolate pistachio olive oil cake and it was DECADENT. Absolutely amazing spot.

Excellent service, delicious food and overall a 5 star experience from this local restaurant. Recommendations from the server were spot on, the seasonal menu items were delicious, and everything neatly finished with a single scoop of coffee bourbon ice cream made this an experience I am eager to return to! If you can't tell, I certainly recommend Ollie Irene, you won't regret it.

Amazing food; far surpasses any other fine dining in Birmingham. We ordered takeout and got the Summer Tagliatelle, burger, and cookies. The summer pasta was wonderful- light, garlicky, and bursting with veggies. The pasta was obviously fresh made and super tender. The burger was the most complex yet balanced thing I’ve eaten in Birmingham. The mixture of herbs, spices, and sauces was amazing, and really brought Birmingham dining into the present for me. The cookies were all perfectly baked. My favorite was the chocolate Vietnamese coffee cookie. As far as the takeout process, ordering was easy and pickup was quick and socially distanced. We will definitely be back again soon!

Great little place. They don't take reservations so you may have to wait. The cocktails are very well made. The chef has a very creative take on southern food. It is interesting and the menu is refreshed often. The space is nice and cozy.

This is the definition of hidden gem. Beautiful part of Birmingham. The managers are extremely knowledgeable about anything related to fine dining. The food is literally the best I’ve ever eaten in my life. Every single item is prepared fresh with fresh ingredients and if I had the funds to eat here 7 days a week, I would.

Dined here many times, always excellent food and service. The consistency always amazes. The best mussels and sticky toffee pudding around. The specials, off menu, are creative. Bar tending crew are knowledgeable and creative as well.

A local coworker took three of us here for dinner and it was, by far, an impressive meal. We had two starters on the table - marcona almonds and toast with brie and mushrooms - and everyone devoured the dishes. My fish stew was bursting with flavor and freshness. It's been a while since I ate a mussel that big and tender! Service and ambiance are excellent without being snooty or stuffy. Best yet, there's ample parking since it's in a shopping center.

This is the closest you will ever get to eating culinary and visual art. Owner Kathy D'Agostino has created a masterpiece in Birmingham that we in BHM are lucky to enjoy. As a Realtor, I love gifting clients her products as they are both elegant, celebratory and exquisite. Truly a taste of the divine.

The staff is helpful in answering questions and enthusiastic about their craft. The interior design is beautiful and is a perfect medium for showing off the finest chocolate in town. The chocolate itself is excellent, and the various sweets owner Kathy has created with it are magical. I tried one of the dark chocolate candies oranges and their brownie. Both amazing! They also have sipping chocolate on Friday and Saturday, which is like drinking a melted chocolate bar (European hot chocolate, if you’ve ever had it).

Lots of interesting, well thought out flavor combinations. Chocolate is super smooth and perfect level of sweetness. They even have their take on the Dubai Chocolate - "Do Buy!"

I have been to Chocolata’ twice, they have a variety of chocolates. If you are looking for something special… just tell the lady and she will put something tasty together. 😋

Chocolata provides such a whimsical and elegant approach to chocolate. I love the celestial feel of it and the owner is always so nice and involved every time I’ve been in to visit! The chocolate bars and bonbons make excellent gifts. One of my favorite things she does is the specialty bunnies and shapes for Easter. 10/10! Definitely recommend! I recently discovered their “crater crunch” bar and I feel like I need to keep it in my house at all times 🤩 They even have a “Zen Collection” of chocolate bars with CBD in them. She has won even more of my loyalty with the recent pride collection! 😍 Love the new location and all of their seasonal chocolates!

Beautiful little Parisian-style chocolate shop where everything is made by a sweet team of ladies that is passionate about the chocolate they make! From chocolate bars to truffles and chocolate covered apricots, this is a place where you'll want to be adventurous because everything is delicious!

Heard about this new spot in Mountain Brook and had to try it! Bottom line... Did not disappoint! Came here for my birthday with a good friend and tried several different items. Everything was served beautifully and perfectly cooked. Had a couple cocktails and a bottle of wine recommended by the chef, all we good and the wine paired perfectly with the dinner. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!!

I have not had a meal this good in a long time! The green tomatoes where fried to perfection. The pimiento cheese that they come with had just the right amount of sharpness and paired with the tomatoes perfectly. The whipped goat cheese mouse was AMAZING! I had the crab cake and was so happy to see that it was full of crab and not fillers! We will most definitely be back!

Lovely dining experience. Very friendly staff. Hospitable atmosphere. Good portions and well crafted food. The wine list is broken down by it's characteristics (e.g., oaky, fruity, crisp) and not if it's a red, white or rosé, etc., which I think makes more sense. Overall, I recommend dining there.

Not a big fan of the blue cheese dressing on the wedge salad but the seafood ravioli and the scallops in savory grits absolutely amazing idk how they get seafood that fresh but keep it up. atmosphere's comfortable and service is great

It would be a 5 star review based on the taste of the food alone, but this day (Mother's Day), service wasn't that great. However, the good outweighs the bad. I had an excelent pork belly, on a bed of blue corn grits, topped with a fried egg, and some crispy onions. I also had a really grear wild mushroom/arugala salad that is place on too of a toasted piece of bread (I'm not sure what type it was. It was about 6" long). At the end of your meal they give you a little piece of white grapefruit chocolate. It is lightly pink in color and is a great palate cleanser. Others has the "Yardbird" (bone-in chicken ), and it looked excellently cooked and juicy. The only negative: Many of us were left without water for a significant amount of time (there is not that many tables (10 to 14 - not all occupied) and they had at least 4 to 5 servers).

This place is awesome. We went on a weekend day evening and the food was fresh and filling. The deviled eggs were light and creamy and just enough to make you want more. The Dram Burger was perfect! We also ordered the Pimento Burger, which to my surprise was quite tasty. We will definitely be going back.

Went here for dinner on Sunday. It's worth noting that not much of any value is open on Sunday's in Alabama! Hence, this place was packed! Excellent food and service in a very modern, atmosphere. Be sure to try the fresh avocado dip with chips, as well as their Sonoma Sliders, and fish tacos. Great wine menu here, too. And don't forget about the Dram Whiskey bar downstairs. Wonderful time...looking forward to going back.

Clean modern design in contrast to Dram that is downstairs. There’s often confusion for OOTs as to how Avo fits into the picture... Avo is upstairs and takes reservations, which is great if you have a larger group. Dram has great bar seating and tables first come, first served. You’ll find outdoor seating on each level. Both Avo and Dram have dedicated menus, but allow ordering from both in either restaurant. I like to think of Avo/Dram as a single destination and Dram or Avo individually as a mood. Each space is unique. I enjoy the salmon salad and recommend asking for the dressing on the side. The kale Caesar with a protein is also an excellent choice.

I love AVO / Dram. I take my dad here every time he is in town. The drinks are great and the food is excellent.

I'll reserve the food rating later. Everything smells great near the kitchen .. But a place advertising themselves as a cocktail bar served their signature sasafrass Sazerac in an old fashioned glass full of chip ice with a lemon wedge. 😶 The food, in contrast, was excellent. Delicious small oysters for a good price, a perfect lightly dressed kale salad, and a mouthwatering fish taco. :D

We were the only table there by 9pm. The turnaround time on the bill took so long, I considered leaving and just getting a new credit card. The orders came out wrong. The waiter with the goatee became so irate at his own incompetence (you know, correcting the consistent mistakes he made), a guest in our party had to step outside to calm herself down. If you can eat anywhere in Alabama, and I mean the cereal aisle at the Exxon station, I suggest you visit there prior to ethering your cash on a sub-par experience that will make you long for a cigarette and a 99 cent McDouble.

Food and atmosphere is what you would expect for this price point. Dropped it one star based on my duck breast...well seasoned and sides were complimentary, but the duck itself was cooked well-done (a no no with duck, makes it tough as shoe leather). Will be going back tonight for business dinner, and will give them another crack at the duck breast.

Okay. I’m just going to say it. I’ve eaten quiche at several other ‘ notable ‘ ladies lunch spots about town in the last several weeks. While all of Joy’s food is great - her quiche is SO above and beyond any place else - that once you have it, you will actually allow someone to smack you across the face for eating it ANYWHERE ELSE. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 😌 Update: Thanks for catering my friends 50th birthday - everything was absolutely DELICIOUS

Such a charming, cozy space! Everything I've enjoyed has been tasty and creative. The cheesecake is creamy and amazing. Not too heavy, but exceptionally satisfying. I last had it with a peach compote and a blueberry compote, which were both wonderful. Go grab something to take home, or to enjoy in their lovely space.

I bought one of Sorelle's beautiful cheesecakes with berries on it for a special dessert with friends. It was delicious - light and airy with a lovely flavor. It was also beautiful and fitting for the special evening. I will definitely order from Sorelle again!

This place is just perfect. The food is freshly prepared, homemade and so flavorful. I’ve been going here since they first opened and prefer it to most restaurants in town. The lasagna is amazing, they sell beer and wine to pick up and the desserts get me every time. This little place should have lines out the door in my opinion. Not to mention the sweetest owners! So happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Wonderful food, perfect atmosphere, great service! I especially love the Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Sweet Potato Salad. Grab and Go is perfect for those days you don't want to cook or need a quick, tasty meal for company (or just to enjoy yourself).

This place has some really good birthday cake fudge A+ but it was really expensive for the quantity. Yes, that one piece was 6 dollars. In my opinion it was a dollar too expensive. A slice of cake at Ashley Mac's is 5 dollars, I know everyone overhead is different still. Otherwise, the service was decent and everyone seemed nice. There was a variety of treats to pick from. I would recommend this spot to someone looking for a great tasting treat but don't care a lot about the price. 4/5

Wayne and the staff at Birmingham Candy Company are the best! Every time that I visit they are always super helpful. All of their candy is delicious and crafted from the highest quality ingredients! The only problem I have is deciding which one to try next!

I was passing through Birmingham and stopped by The Birmingham Candy Company. The Lemon Meringue fudge was absolutely delicious. They also offered other very unique flavors of fudge. The pecan turtle, in all of the various flavors of chocolate, was the best ever. Everything that I ordered was simply delicious.

Love Wayne and Cassie for their help with wedding shower hostess gifts. What do you get someone who has everything? Candy! They were very professional with suggestions, selections, and packaging. Greatest gifts ever!

UPDATED: they’re doing a much better job of letting their customers know when they won’t be open and I LOVE the pop-up store at the Summit. Beautiful and so convenient . The candy is amazing but they need to update their Facebook page when they’re not going to be open. I have found myself showing up to the Pizitz, with new customers, only to find that it was closed unexpectedly for some reason on more than one occasion.

I've never had a doughnut taste so good. Try the original or my favorite the chocolate doughnut. The texture is hard to describe but my favorite part. Their doughnuts are way better than any doughnut. I can't wait to eat my next We Have Doughnut doughnut.

I love this place! However, today, I was slightly disappointed. I drove up from Montgomery, the closest location. It was 3:00, and they were out of cookies and cinnamon rolls. I’m unsure why they didn’t cook more because they had a few hours left to be open, but I was disappointed because we made a special trip just for the cinnamon rolls, and we couldn’t purchase as many as we wanted.

A friend suggested we have breakfast at Edgar's this morning. Initially, I thought she meant the one on Hwy 280, but she clarified it was in Pelham. I was surprised to learn there was a bakery there! 👍The Pelham Edgar's Bakery turned out to be a charming little spot with excellent service and delicious breakfast food.❤️ It's definitely a place I'll visit again, whether for breakfast or just to pick up a sweet treat.😁

My sons Ma Ma ordered a king cake…. We received it today and decided after dinner perfect time to eat it before lent. To our surprise it was half ”RAW” (Pictures to prove it)!!!!... I pray my sons Ma Ma gets a full refund!! Yes we may live now in Austin MN but we know what a king cake looks like. I threw it away from 5 people hoping all of us to enjoy it. We were traveling through Pelham and stopped to pick up coffee and breakfast. What an absolute treat hidden behind all of the other fast food restaurants. Every pastry we got was incredibly delicious, portions were large, so we had to share with family, which allowed everyone to have a little bit of everything we got. The staff was so friendly and helpful with helping us with our pastry choices. There are lots of fun knick knacks for purchase. A cold case of lunch and deli items for takeaway. We wished we would've stayed long enough to buy a cake! We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

I visited Edgar's Bakery in Pelham this morning and placed a to-go order around 9:08 AM. After waiting 20 minutes, I checked in with the host, who went to the back and said it would be about 5 more minutes. By the 30-minute mark, I noticed another customer—who had ordered after me—receive her food, including some of the same items I had ordered. I asked the host again about my order, and a manager stepped in. After checking with the kitchen, the manager explained that their order screen was broken and told the host she should have kept better track of my ticket. The manager offered cupcakes as a courtesy, which I appreciated, but my intention was mainly to share feedback on how the situation was handled. As an African American customer, I left feeling overlooked and uncomfortable. Whether intentional or not, experiences like this can leave a lasting impression and deserve reflection and attention from management.

My birthday cake turned out so beautifully! The writing was so elegant! They were able to accommodate a last minute request! Ashley was so kind and professional! I’m so grateful for everything!

First, I love Krispy Kreme. My family and I would always find a Krispy Kreme at the beach. They're the best. A few years ago, when we moved to the area and discovered that Hoover has a Krispy Kreme, we were excited! The first couple times we visited, the customer service was slow and at times, very lacking - you know where the guy has his ear buds in listening to music while working. So, we swore them off. We'll enjoy them when we are on vacation, but not here. Well, I was driving by Saturday around 10am, and the hot and fresh light was on. I couldn't resist. I stopped by to get a dozen for my family. When I entered the store, there were 4 customers ahead of me, but the donuts were hot on the line! I watched another customer come to the door, and open up her phone, and used the app to order her donuts. After 10 minutes of waiting, the first customer in line was finally gone - 10 minutes for 1 customer. The cashier then proceeded to fulfill the mobile order for the lady in the doorway instead of the folks who had been waiting in that line. Meanwhile, all the donuts hot and fresh donuts had been boxed up, the light was turned off, and they were cleaning the conveyer. I kept waiting. The service never improved. I wasn't going to wait 30 more minutes for cold donuts. I just walked out disappointed. I don't know why I gave this location another chance. They haven't improved in 4 years.

I belive this location has just recently reopened because it's been awhile since I've seen the hot sign on. It's also been awhile since I've last had hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts and it did not disappoint. Didn't take long to order and walk out with hot fresh doughnuts!

Literally the worst run business I have ever seen. App orders are never pulled and ready at the time promised, terribly understaffed, and the quality of the donuts have gone downhill significantly.

More "HOT AND ANGRY" than "hot and ready" at tonight's Hoover location. I was already a little disappointed because the selection was so limited, however, an hour before close, it's to be expected. I placed an online order. When we got to the speaker, the worked seemingly irate and impatient told us to pull around. With no greeting or any words at all, he handed us our food, hasitly closed the window, and walked away. He was extremely hostile and most definitely did not seem happy to be there. We don't live near a KK, so this is a rare treat for us. Working in food management myself, I would want to be aware if I had an employee with such an awful attitude working for me. He was a light skinned young man, 18-20, working around 10 p.m. on 10/11/25. I hope that you guys can find someone to better represent your long standing brand.

Donuts are good but there is ALWAYS something at this store. Always. I ordered a half dozen original glaze and 1 chocolate. Told one price by one young man and another one comes over and tells me a higher price by 1 dollar. The donuts are already expensive....what do you mean?! He tells me the other guy rung it up wrong. Come on! I had to wait 6 min. at the window for the donuts to be dropped...and then had to ask how ling because initially I was told its gonna be a minute. It turmed out to be longer than I thought. You literally could have kept the price as it was like it was because of my wait time. I said this and was met with the teenager looking awkward and no response. I was honest when asked if I already paid just be upcharged to an assortment fee with one donut changed for chocolate....and drumroll....I had to wait an additional 2 minutes on a receipt and napkins. Its either their attitude, laziness, stuff not working, or donuts not done, or in the case an upcharge and no accomodation to their customers. Even if the upcharge, you could have offered a milk or something... And they are gonna be extra small too.

Today, I went to Krispy Kreme in Hoover and I must say this location has really stepped up its game. The donuts were hot and fresh. The guy at the drive thru was super nice and friendly! I will return again, hopefully I get the same results as I did today.

The two guys working today were so nice. They were very busy serving the drive-thru and the line inside. Today was National Coffee Day so I ordered a free coffee and donut 🍩. I added two more donuts and they just gave them to me. How kind of them ☺️💗

Really good. I got the cold brew and the cookies and cream. My first time getting anything from them and it was delicious. The lady serving there was sweet. They do have some dairy free options. Next time I want to try their watermelon flavor.

Staff was nice, ice cream was good. Smell was unbearable. It smelled very strong of cleaning products likely used for mopping. It was so strong everyone was going outside in the heat to eat while the inside was empty. Unfortunate.

My best friend and I love to come here with my son. Today my son was a spit fire and Theresea was so kind with him. She talked and played while maintaining the store. He gave her a big hug before leaving. I thank her so much. In reply to Beth as well, Theresea was not rude to you. She maintained her customer service while trying to accommodate your wants to the best of her ability.

I called at 9 this morning to place an over the phone order for pick up. The lady who i spoke with told me i don’t need to make an online order because the cakes do not sell out because they are constantly making them . I get to the store and she said she was sold out of the cake i wanted . I’m upset because i wanted to make an order so i could secure my cakes and she told me it was pointless basically because they are constantly baking. I do not appreciate this type of customer service . If you are unsure then say that . Do not promise me something will happen when it will not .

We ordered a birthday cake in Strawberries and cream in a box and bought 4 bundlets in key lime, white chocolate raspberry, chocolate chip gluten free, and classic vanilla. They were all delicious and so fresh. The strawberries and cream is the best to me. We ordered the cake for my mom's birthday and it was awesome. I really think all the cakes are the best. If you get a chance, go get a bundlet. You won't be disappointed! You will be glad you did and will return!

Ordered a red velvet bundt for a July 4th get together. Associates were very friendly, store is always clean, and the bundt cake tasted amazing. Mom wanted some small American flags to put on it and the associates went above and beyond to give us some. Great job!

We picked this place because of the gluten free options for my daughter and she loved the two she tried. I had the cheesecake that was chocolate and it was outstanding! My husband had another chocolate kind of cupcake and enjoyed it, too. Fresh and tasty, substantial cupcakes.

Cupcakes looked great but we were disappointed to find out that the pile of frosting was more of a generic buttercream. The actual cake was nothing to get excited about and was not worth the price. Publix cupcakes are probably a better deal.

My favorite little ice cream spot! My nephew got the ice cream cookie, and I got the brownie sundae. This is a neat little spot for the littles and the young at heart. They have ice cream (cones/cups), protein shakes, sundaes, cakes, and more! It's definitely a place to go when in Hoover.

The ice cream was delicious! The salted caramel with truffles was excellent. It was bit softer than I like, but the taste was great! The chocolate dipped cone was delicious as well. Only negative is the consistency of how much you get. It varied a good bit between each server.

I love this place. I have loved them since they were on south shades crest. But the last time I was there I got two of the worst milkshakes. I took them back to have them remade the same way . it was super crowded. Maybe this was why. But I am still disappointed with my favorite ice cream shop.

We have been coming by at least once a week since they have opened. My absolute favorites are the waffle sticks and think they are great alternatives to ice cream. My family loves to get the milkshakes and single scoop cones as well. I definitely tend to recommend this place to friends and out of town visitors.
