Time:9:30 AM Date:19.04.25 Delicious pastries, but the service ruins everything. We had breakfast at the restaurant and afterwards asked to take the remaining bun to go. The cashier gave us a dirty bag for the pastry. We had to ask a different waiter to pack the food properly. Overall, the food was tasty, but the service was terrible. The only positive impression was from one waiter — an older gentleman who did his job with dignity and professionalism.

I was super disappointed- maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I took a salmon sandwich - it came with white bread bun (pretty basic) with clumps of butter inside that staff hadn't bothered spreading so I took bites into clumps of butter. It also came with fries - weird? He asked if I wanted egg - i said yes - but I didnt get the egg. Coffee was nice but small.

I always wondered why the restaurant was always so crowded—until I visited it myself. I tried several items from the menu, and all of them were great (except for the pretzels). I highly recommend the sandwiches—they’re delicious, filling, and freshly made. The prices are also very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality. It’s definitely a top spot for breakfast, and I’ll be coming back for more!

We ordered the blueberry pretzel — it was really nice! The sandwiches were good; the bacon was definitely better than the turkey. I wouldn’t recommend the tiramisu though — it was below average. But overall, it’s a great spot for breakfast and bakeries, with reasonable prices.

Disgusting attitudes from staff especially the cashier was very rude and was being sarcastic about me ordering pancakes!! How should i know you only serve them in cairo!! disgusting service the waiter got us the wrong coffee then when i explained to him that i knew it was the next table’s coffee because i tasted it ((I told him in arabic so he definitely understood what i was saying القهوة للطاولة التانية، عرفت انها مش قهوتي لاني شربت منها he still gave my cup to that table!!)) i had to warn them not to drink it cause i’ve already had a sip!!! + food was less than basic + quite expensive considering how terrible the experience was

I recently had a meal that completely blew me away. The flavors were so unique and interesting that I couldn't stop eating. Every single bite was an explosion of deliciousness and I savored every moment. The presentation was also beautiful, making the food even more appealing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, which made the experience even more special. The service was impeccable and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I left feeling completely satisfied and happy, already planning my next visit. It was truly a great food experience.

Had lunch there and I am still unsure whether I got scammed or if they truly didn’t understand English. I clearly and repeatedly asked for “just the chicken, nothing else, only chicken.” The waiter nodded, so I assumed all was clear. Instead, they brought out the full family menu, the most expensive item on the menu. When I questioned it, they acted confused and insisted that was what I had ordered. The food was average at best, and the experience left a bad taste. I ended up paying several times more than expected for something I didn’t even want. Would not recommend.

I went to King Chicken in Dahab and ordered 3 rice-stuffed pigeons — it was really good! The meal came with generous sides: 3 servings of molokhia, rice, tahina, and salad. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and very affordable. The total was just 600 EGP for all of it. Definitely a great spot for a hearty, traditional Egyptian meal at a good price

A good place to try fried chicken in Dahab in addition to serving some other things like grills and others. My biggest problem with him is the level of service and organization are very poor.

Fried chicken smells so good but taste a little bitter .Package food is cheap and tomato soup tasted sour that I like it. Too much people come here,be early or wait in line.

My visit had a mixed experience. We ordered the shrimp pizza, chicken pizza, and two tiramisus. The pizzas were good overall — the dough was crispy and well-made, but the toppings weren’t as impressive as expected considering the high reviews. The shrimp pizza had very little shrimp, and the chicken pizza was good. As for the tiramisu, it was unfortunately below expectations in terms of flavor and texture. However, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The place itself is cozy and comfortable, which made the experience pleasant overall. I think there’s potential if a bit more attention is given to the quality and quantity of toppings and desserts.

I tried this restaurant with my friends, and we ordered two kinds of pizza: the Four Seasons and the Chicken Ranch — both were amazing. We also tried three types of pasta: one shrimp with white sauce and one seafood with white sauce. The shrimp pasta was delicious, but the seafood one wasn’t good; the sauce was too light, almost watery, and it only had calamari and shrimp. The calamari was chewy and hard to eat. We also tried shrimp pasta with olive oil, and it was fantastic — really tasty!

Four Cheese Pizza: A must-try! It’s absolutely delicious, the blue cheese adds a unique and flavorful touch. Shrimp Pasta Carbonara: Unfortunately, it keeps getting worse each time. The shrimp quality and quantity have dropped, and it tastes more like an Alfredo with shrimp instead of chicken. Overall: The place is clean, the service is great, and the overall experience is always nice!

The place serves delicious Italian food. I would highly recommend it if you are in Dahab. Disappointing experience at this restaurant. The seafood pasta was a letdown - it was overly watery and lacked flavor. The shrimp was also surprisingly small, almost an afterthought. What really took the cake was when we brought our concerns to the server's attention, only to be hurried along without any apology or offer to make it right. Not worth the money. Maybe they need to work on their dish and customer service.

I tried Athanor a couple of times and had mixed feelings. Their pasta really stood out—the dry shrimp pasta in particular was unique and absolutely delicious, something I’d go back for again and again. On the other hand, the pizza felt overrated compared to the hype and didn’t live up to expectations. The atmosphere is great, with good music and a nice vibe, though the place is a bit overpriced. Service wasn’t amazing, but it didn’t really affect my visit. One issue worth mentioning: there are a lot of cats around, and some of them jump on tables while people are eating. In my case, a cat literally started eating off my plate, and the staff didn’t do anything about it. If you’re not a cat person or you care about hygiene, that could be a dealbreaker.

Athanor was recommended to me by my friends so after testing the food I understand why it is so famous. Pasta was absolutely delicious, and i tried theri iced coffee too, and it was amazing.

It was the worst experience that i had in any café, if you’re considering spending your birthday there, please don’t , staff was disrespectful and impolite. We went there for this special event with very high expectations considering it is the oldest and most popular café in dahab, but all we found was disrespect and the overpriced menu and the staff trying to charge us for anything extra. On the same day we went there at 11:am to reserve a good sea view table and as it was important for us we went to reserve it by ourselves and not by phone, one of the staff said we will have to come again at 6:00 because that’s when the night shift starts, we left and went back again as he asked, that time they told us the table will be reserved for us and for the birthday but we will have to come at the time of the concert (just so they can charge us 100EGP per person even though we were free all day and we didn’t pick the time). We made a reservation with the name of the birthday girl and her phone number and the time of arrival and payed a deposit. They told us to come by at 9pm, two hours before the concert to help us with the balloons and decorations. When we arrived at 9:00 pm our table was taken, staff kept telling us are you mistaken for somewhere else ? Are you sure this is the right cafe ? They made us feel unwanted and like we asked for their services for free, after that we were completely ignored just standing there, they told us to sit in a different table until the one we wanted was ready, we wanted for an hour or an hour and a half until it was ready, during that time no one asked us if you wanted to drink anything or need anything they just ignored us, after we moved to the table we kept asking for their help we were ignored, after arguing with the one we payed the deposit to we just told him we need two simple things to order a cake and to help us with the decorations, all they ever did was telling us your decorations wont work so we did those ourselves without any help and the order with terrible and messy handwriting not even as requested and the flattest molten cake i have ever seen( didnt even write her name as requested just wrote HBD in huge letters and claimed there was no space left), we kept seeing staff making the band sing birthday songs to other guests and and when we requested we were ignored not even a birthday songs was played, no help with decorations, terrible hand writing and not even paying attention to us to make an order. My friend’s birthday was ruined and she was really sad and she felt ignored on her special day and that other people’s birthday mattered most to them

This is my second visit to this place and honestly I recommend it the coffee and desserts are amazing! and the atmosphere and service are great too, I tried their food and it was just okay to me it was too oily i tried FATAH WITH TAOOQ ، and the croissant didn’t have much flavor except for the jam.. As for the tiramisu I’d rate it 4/5 because it wasn’t too sweet which I actually liked.. I’d definitely visit again for the coffee and dessert!

It was at best okay, somewhat expensive considering other restaurants nearby offer the same thing for less. Food looks amazing but lacks so much taste, i was very disappointed especially for what I spent. The atmosphere was a 10/10 though

We came here for lunch in Dahab looking for a nice spot with a view, and honestly the only good thing about this place was the view. The service was very poor and extremely slow—even something as simple as straws arrived only at the end of the meal. Yet, they still charge a 10% service fee for this level of service. We ordered two burgers and a breakfast plate. The burger buns were stale and falling apart, the vegetables tasted bitter, and the meat itself wasn’t good. Definitely disappointing.

This was supposed to be everyday breakfast , scrambled egg , wedges , sausage and toast and as u can see very disappointing

It's a very good place for a quick bite or coffee and dessert. We still haven't tried the savory plate. We only tried coffee and Honey cake. They were very good. The staff are friendly. The service is very good too. The tables are clean and the outdoor seating area is great. The prices are also good. We loved that the cats kept roaming around us and one of them decided to sit with us. Next time we will visit during day time to enjoy the food and view.

The oldest and most authentic restaurant and cafe in the city of Dahab, specially the original one. The sea view and their decorations are so charming, they used to have a swing by the sea but it's not their anymore. Sometimes bands come and play in the night and make a nice atmosphere. The food i not wow but it works. The drinks are amazing however. It's a very pet friendly place.

loving XAT bakery in dahab!! beautiful area, comfortable seats, friendly staff, nice and calm music, a place to relax, work or simply sit and enjoy their delicious treats. unlike similiar places in dahab, this one leaves you with some privacy, due to the fact that tables are not so close one next to the other, you will have space and you can breath in this place hamdullah :) breakfast is good and there are various options for all preferences (yes, VEGAN available!) 💚 🥦 from sweet to salty. delicious coffee and juices. 🌻 go check it out !

Had an amazing birthday party there where everything was very well organized and presented , guests lunches , birthday cake and coffees. If you look for a cozy atmosphere and great food quality , Xat delights is the place to go :)

This is a new breakfast and coffee place in Dahab, it’s a branch of their business in Sharm, perfect breakfast perfect coffee perfect bakery and perfect stuff, I been coming here for 2 days in a raw now and I’m enjoying every piece of it, highly recommended

The team at Ralph’s German Bakery in Mashraba always exceed my expectations. Their food and service is top notch and they make a great cup of coffee. Most importantly don’t leave without a cup of their fresh orange juice!

The german bakery opens early morning and closes by sunset , it offers European style breakfast. They are expensive and i expected a professional level of service however there is no underline to the plates and the beacon was too rigid “ not a good quality or over cooked “ also the dish is not like the photo in the menu . Same ingredients but different orientation. Doesn’t worth that high price . The place is nice and quit with many seating options. Indoor and outdoor and different seating styles . The desserts and bakery is good . Don’t go for their breakfast, instead you can have bakeries and orange juice freshly squeezed or with your selection of coffee.

Nice little German bakery with a cozy atmosphere. The latte was creamy and delicious, definitely a highlight of the visit. The croissant was okay, not the flakiest I’ve had but still enjoyable. I also tried the apple strudel, which was packed with raisins, good if you like it that way, though a bit too much for my taste. Overall, a pleasant experience and worth a visit if you're in the area.

Food was amazing I went to the 2 branches This one and the one near the lighthouse Both were exceptional, staff were professional and attentive But the lighthouse branch has more indoor tables I tried the German Breakfast; it was delicious My Friend tried Big Vienna to get the drink with the breakfast; it was delicious as well On another visit i got the grilled chicken sandwich, tiramisu and bee sting cake The grilled chicken came with salad and fries which is perfect The Bee Sting cake slice was so delicious and rich The tiramisu wasn't that good though

Ralph’s German Bakery is a wonderful spot with fresh, delicious pastries and bread that never disappoint. The coffee is rich and perfectly brewed, making it the ideal companion to their baked goods. Always a cozy and satisfying place to enjoy a treat.

I was on vacation for a few months and lived nearby, so I ended up trying pretty much everything on the menu. The cafe has a great concept and the breakfasts are quite good. My only note on the food is that it tends to be on the plain side, but that's not necessarily a negative since there's salt and pepper on the tables. I'd love to see a bit more coziness here—maybe some light ambient music or something to warm up the atmosphere. I can't say anything bad about the staff themselves; they're friendly. However, the service is very slow. Even when the cafe is empty, there's a long wait for your order. Also, on three separate occasions, the price I was quoted at the register was higher than the amount on the final receipt. Just something to be more mindful of. All in all, it's a decent spot. My suggestions would be to focus a bit more on the ambiance, service speed, and overall coziness like in Avenue Cafe.

I had a wonderful time here. You could find here upstairs. My choice of shakshouka was nice. Orange coffee was bit weak to me, but I still enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The breakfast was delicious, filling, and satisfying. We ordered the Avocado Toast Benedict and the Basterma & Cream Cheese Ciabatta, along with fresh orange and mango juice, both drinks were delicious and refreshing. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I'm very curious to try the other dishes and will definitely come back whether to explore new options or simply enjoy the ones I had again.

Food was very bland, but the worst of all was the extremely slow service. Took an hour to serve simple food even though the place was almost empty

We really enjoyed the food, it was fresh and super refreshing. The place has a lovely earthy atmosphere, with dogs peacefully lounging around to escape the heat. We waited about 20 minutes for the food, and after it arrived, it took another 5 minutes to get our utensils. The carrot cake was also really good and definitely worth trying. The person who seemed to be the owner was very kind and even helped with clearing tables, so I got the impression the staff might be new or still getting settled.

The place is so beautiful and authentic. It's a perfect place to get your breakfast, dinner or lunch perfect for working and very friendly staff. I will definitely go there again in the future inshallah.

We had an amazing experience in shanti garden restaurant. The atmosphere in the garden is wonderful and peaceful. The food is excellent, and the customer service is superb. It's also very clean. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Dahab!!!

BEST Food we had in Dahab!!😍😍 We decided to go for breakfast to the café and instantly liked the atmosphere, the looks and then let alone the food 🤤 We liked it so much, we decided to return for dinner the same day and had a look at the pre-order menu. We wanted to go for the duck, but because we were a little bit too spontaneous for that, we couldn't order it anymore for the same night. But then, the manager personally offered us a variation instead (which was not to find on the menu) and let me tell you: WOW. We were blown away by the quality and taste of the food. We wish we would have found this amazing spot earlier.. and on top of that all of that for a Very fair price!! (We even got 2 drinks for free 🎁) I usually don't really write reviews but I wanted to make sure this restaurant becomes the appreciation and attention it deserves 🙏 Keep up the good work and thank you for this experience 🥗🌮☕🥘🥞🥰

Breakfast at Shanti was on top of our list for when we return to Dahab. Our last visit was in January 2024 and that’s when we fell in love with this place. Just full of the right energy, amazing coffee, zen. This time things have changed. While I love the outdoor extension (and the clean toilet deserves a special mention too) I can’t omit mentioning that smoking in an indoor environment is just not cool. Or healthy. I can’t come with my kids anymore and personally I’m a bit sad that now plastic straws are being served instead of the reusable ones I remember from our last visit. I can only assume that people kept stealing them and that’s why this changed? Anyway, the smoking is a big no no which meant that during our 6 week stay in Dahab we could only come to shanti once. Maybe it will be better again in winter when sitting outside is pleasant (or people stop smoking indoors)

This place has to be my favourite one in Dahab. From the moment I stepped my foot in, I can sense the appealing and welcoming atmosphere. The air-conditioner area saved us from the summer heat, creates a warm and cozy environment. I try the Egg Benedict, the quality matches the price, as the food seems recently prepared or sourced, fresh—flavourful—tender. The waiter was quite attentive and served quickly and efficiently. I need to be back in Dahab and try the other menus as I was trying their scrumptious breakfast menu. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent ice cream. A small, obviously family run place, with limited seating. However their ice cream makes up for it. I suggest you try it after dinner. Delicious.

According to one of the 8 year olds ahead of me in the queue, "This is the best ice cream shop in Dahab...better even than Sharm" and eventually once she was walking out the door "the best ice cream shop in the world!" And I have to say, I agree ❤️

What a nice little spot for dinner— outside of Asalah square you’ll find this gem. A small kitchen serving up a lot of soul. Intimate setting with a changing menu, based on the season, Nancy’s is worth the visit. Delightful staff and delicious entrees.
