Nice place with the biggest cinnamon buns I have ever seen... And eaten. They have other yummy pastries and offer an apple warmer drink that goes well with the cinnamon bun.

We indulged in the most delicious rhubarb and strawberry pie 🥧🍓, a heavenly Nutella brownie 🍫, a fragrant Amaretto treat 🍥, and a beautifully soft pastry whose name escapes me — but trust me, it was divine 😋💖 (see photo for proof!) 🪑 There’s plenty of comfy indoor seating, while outdoor seating is a bit wobbly but still charming under the Gothenburg sky 🌤️. 🚻 There’s a toilet available, though sadly not wheelchair accessible. ✨ Honestly, we had nothing to complain about — just a lovely little café with tons of character, the kind of place you want to linger and savor every bite. A must - visit when you’re in Gothenburg! Even though this cafe is in almost every tourist guide for Gothenburg it definitely didn’t disappoint. I had the biggest cinnamon bun, aka Hagabullen, which was full of flavor and worth every bite. The staff is welcoming and the whole place has that authentic Gothenburg feel. I highly recommend it!

The juice was good, so was the chocolate ball. Their traditional Kanelbullar was a bit not tasteful but fluffy. Also there were bees everywhere even inside which was annoying(not the cafes fault tho)

First and foremost the ice cream was OUTSTANDING. Just unbelievable. I ordered cookies flavor & banana flavor, together it tasted exactly like banana cream pie (flavor combo idea). My wife ordered licorice. Fantastic quality. Almost refreshing in fact. The macchiato i ordered after was also phenomenal.

A nice place about 10 minutes from the city center. The staff are friendly. They have ice cream, drinks, and Italian pizza. There is an indoor and two outdoor seating areas. The view overlooks the fields and trees. The prices are reasonable. It is worth a visit.

I have been here alot over the years and the ice cream is fantastic everytime, the staff if you ask them will give you a taster before you buy. A nice drive to get here and once you arrive the pace is definitely slower and relaxing, plenty of space to park on graveled area and in front of the entrance. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy the wonderful food around the side entrance or you can sit in the woods or the nearby fields if you want and enjoy the wonderful ice cream. They are planning to extend their opening to evening social gatherings which during the summer will be fantastic. Well worth the visit I heartedly recommend it.

It's probably the most popular coffee spot in Gothenburg. Not that far from Nord Stan, this place is the perfect spot to escape the crowds. However, this place can get crowded, thanks to its popularity and atmosphere. They have a good breakfast menu, plenty with pastries and good drinks. Cappuccino is good, I like it.

Lovely cafe located in the centre of Gothenburg, even on weekdays it was quite popular among the locals. They have great range of pastries, dessert but also tasty salads and sandwiches. I highly recommend visiting!

The best place to have a breakfast in the town, high quality ingredients, great variety and chic interior. The only downside is the long queues.

The ambiance is good, the coffee and sweets are good as well but the problem is with the long queue and relaxed staffs. They don’t try to do it faster to avoid wasting time at the queue for their customers.

They Maintained queue system very well. Here Ice creams are economical compared to other Famous Ice creams and Gelatos shops. I feel sweetness is bit less for the flavours we tried.

This is one of my favourite chains in Sweden. Was trying first time in Gothenburg and the got impressed by the service, everyone was super nice and lovely. Pastries were great as always, this time we tried the cinnamon roll (it was average, quite sweet) and the strawberry cheesecake croissant (if I’m not mistaken) was DELICIOUS! The only concern is the general cleanliness of the place, but not horrible.

Visited Mr Cake with my mom — we tried the Swedish cinnamon roll and a matcha latte with coffee. Everything was delicious! Such a cute café, definitely recommend!

I had a truly lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was fantastic in their spacious setting. I made a slight error with my order, confusing MOZZARELLA with MORTADELLA, but the staff handled it with complete professionalism and understanding. They graciously accommodated the situation and provided me with a “mozzarella” order instead a “mortadella”. The coffee was excellent, as were the breakfast croissant and matcha 🔥. meeh. Maybe too high expectations, but it was a bit of US-food effect: cakes looked absolutely fantastic, but taste was just artificial, creamy-fatty and not at all like a proper CAKE. Not even the kids finished their pieces (never saw that before, haha). Sorry, but we won't come back. Might drive to Germany or Austria instead -they know what a proper cake is (pro tipp: do not only present a mountain of cream, sugar paste and flashy food color :)

Wow, sitting here after my soup and cake endeavor. It was an exquisite experience. Lovely saffron flavour and whole shrimp , some fish and perfectly cut potatoes in the soup. After I tried almost all the cakes (sorry chocolate and rum) and they were surprisingly good. I must say the nougat comes first and blackberry takes seconds. I had a lovely date with myself here on a Sunday. You should also. Btw the young woman working there was beyond helpful. Probably the most service minded person I’ve met on this trip back to Sweden, been here 2,5 months! I will miss places like this in Australia, and the price is extraordinary for the value! Much love

Odd setup where the trays weren’t immediately available when entering the premises but rather on the opposite side, furthest away from the entrance. Solid selection though, albeit pricey. Attentive staff. Cozy atmosphere, and the ambient music were set to just the right level to effortlessly have conversations. Offers takeaway.

Incredible coffee shop in the heart of downtown. The inside of the cafe is genuinely beautiful - lots of open seating, natural light, and a realistic olive tree! The shop allows customers to grab their own choice of baked goods and then bring them up to the counter to pay. They also have delicious coffee - I had an iced americano and it was super tasty!

Avacado toast is so delicious, and I am frequent at their chocolate corner, so many tasty options. But what makes this place special for me is not only the food but also the art nouveau inspired decoration, so beautiful 😍 I typically have a seat in a corner that I can enjoy the beauty while drinking my tea.

It’s also a bit of a self-serve approach, which makes it a bit easier to shop around rather than standing in line. Like most cafes they have free tap water too

Great place for lunch and the lunch cost 114krs. I have tired the lax (Salmon) Soup which was really good. And they have a cake buffet, where they had the variety of cakes to taste. And finally with a nice coffee.

It is a unique place where you can get an ancient vibe. It is a half-timbered house that was built somewhere in the late 1700s. You can see that because nothing is straight, neither the walls nor the floors. The interior consists of old chairs and tables, nothing is like the other, and you might like it or not, but, in my opinion, this is a charming place. It can get crowded, yet it is worth waiting. The staff is friendly and helpful. Try to get sitting inside as far the atmosphere is just unique there.

This is an old and charming house with old furniture and such an interior reminiscent of the houses of the last century. The house leans a little and the bricks on the wall and the solid wood floor create a cozy atmosphere. Coffee and pastries are of common and ordinary taste (not that much gastronomic experience as the name of the place suggests).

We randomly stopped off in Laholm on Saturday the 16th of February 2019. We got out of our car to walk around the town square and spotted the lovely exterior of the Conditori Cecil café and decided to see what was inside! Staff: I remember the proprietor being very friendly and helpful! He had good English so I was able to ask him what were the various types of pastries that he had to offer. Food: The shop has a wide variety of pastries to choose from and on the day we visited the proprietor recommended that we try the freshly baked Semlor Buns! Semlor is a traditional Swedish Cream Bun and I have to say that the Semlor Buns on offer at Conditori Cecil were to die for! The Café: It is a traditional Swedish café. The café is laid out so that the patisserie is towards the front and the tables and chairs were to the back. Wheelchair Access: I remember there being a number of steps at the front door so from my experience I would not say that it is Wheelchair accessible however, there may be another entrance that I am not aware of. Apologies for not having more information about wheelchair accessibility on this premises. Overall Opinion: I really liked my visit to Conditori Cecil and to say that its now been over 4 years since I was there, the Semlor Bun really did leave a memorable impression! Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of the buns but I am sure if you pop in they will have them freshly baked!

A real nice coffee shop at a corner next to the town square. Very classic style, but still manages to feel up to date. I got a coffee and a Danish. Both were fine, if not out of the ordinary. The pastry was less greasy than they can usually be. They do have a bunch of seats inside, but there’s also a few tables out back, if you want some sunshine. Too bad there was a construction going on next door while I visited. Overall a pretty good place to get a cup of coffee. I did notice a few laptop jockeys in the place, so if you want to work it’s also fine.

We came in the conditori quarter before four o"clock . When we had ordered our tea and coffee , the lady at the counter said that we had to hurry , because they would close at four o"clock sharp and we had to be outside then. We hurried and drank our tea and "torta" in 10 minutes. We found ourselves very unwelcome.

This is easily the best ice cream parlor in Gothenburg so far. They live upto their name with both, the service and quality of ice cream. The interior is also really nice and vibrant. They have a lot of options to choose from which makes it difficult yet interesting. They also make ice cream shakes if that's something you like. Been going here for a few years now and haven't been disappointed a single time.

I went here for the ice cream. Have several normal flavours, but also a handful vegan options. Mostly sorbet or sorbet-ish. The vegan chocolate ice cream was really good and chocolate:y, dense taste.

A cozy outside restaurant in slottsskogen. But the food wasn't very good. We had cappuccino in the sun. The coffe was really bad, the bakery looked like they came straight from the store and the coffe was tasting like instant coffee. If you want a real coffe go to Villa Belparc instead.

We like pizza here. They also suggest a big variety of ice-cream and very tasty smoothies. The bouncy castle is free of charge for the little visitors. The only one thing I don't like there is a toilet which is usually dirty and smelly. No paper towels. Soap you can find occasionally.

Wow!! Great ice cream and do many fun flavours to choose from. I got the chocolate with rosemary flavour and the rhubarb, it was delicious. The sandwiches and meringue swiss was also very tasty, and great coffee. The line looked long when we got there but the staff was quick and we didn't have to wait long to order, not to get our orders. My three year old was delighted that they had a sink for kids in the toilet and that there was a small playground. Will definitely visit again if I'm ever nearby!

Sylvain and colleagues make the best pastries avaliable in Göteborg. I come several times a week and I never get disappointed. On a sunny day come early if you want a spot to sit outside. The parking outside makes it very accessible.

Look, before anyone gets mad, the food IS amazing. it's worth standing in line for, winning awards. My challenge is that the place has very very low hygiene standards. Food is touched with bare hands all over (not washed between tasks) hair found in food is taken out like that solves the problem, food is stored in open cases and will literally be covered in bees and flies (the shop doors are kept wide open and they are next to a recycling station). The very nice team makes amazing food, but I cannot set foot in a place to eat that makes me wonder if the city even has health inspectors.

If you are in Gothenburg, and you like to enjoy a good quality tasty Ice cream, go there. Very busy shop. But you will have a vast variety and choice of many interesting tastes and flavours. You decide to have in biscuit wrap or in single use paper cup. Portion is big, so order according to your hunger. If you want to walk after enjoying then order two or three balls. Otherwise order just one ball. Ice cream is very soft and creamy. You will not feel crystals in mouth. Enjoy.

The place is a Swedish style Gelateria (basically the same as an ice cream shop) with tastes tailored towards foodies (for example, butter and Rosemary flavour). There are a few places to sit in the shade and the staff are nice. Some soft drink options are available as well. Unfortunately, it is more than anything else a touristy venue with the selling point being the vue towards the harbour inlet, perhaps best reflected in the prices.

Best ice cream we have eaten in a loooong time! They make it themselves with Italian recipe. Don't miss out!
